- 0:24Speaker 2: Wait, wait, isn't it. It's so exciting when you get
- 0:27Speaker 2: one that's close, right, was it P one or P two?
- 0:30Speaker 1: P one right by the stairs.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I always think the P one spots I'm not allowed
- 0:35Speaker 2: to park in, Like you have to check all the signs, right.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Yeah, just read the signs reserved.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Well, that's great. That's going to start your day off right,
- 0:42Speaker 2: and you'll feel very good about today and it's gonna
- 0:45Speaker 2: be nice. Like it's gonna be nice. It changes my
- 0:47Speaker 2: entire mood partly sunny, highs in the low eighties, very exciting.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The fact that we're not waking up in the thirties
- 0:53Speaker 4: anymore is a good deal.
- 0:55Speaker 2: It's too much.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Last week thirty nine right now.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It's not for me. I mean, we can we we're weak,
- 1:02Speaker 2: we are really weak. Yea with thin skin, thin blooded weak, right,
- 1:05Speaker 2: I mean, look at New York closing down, closing the
- 1:08Speaker 2: city and here we are with eighties. I'll take it. No,
- 1:12Speaker 2: all right, So we've got a second date update coming up.
- 1:16Speaker 2: If you said at the end of the date, I'll
- 1:18Speaker 2: call you and the other person said, that's okay, like meaning,
- 1:22Speaker 2: don't worry about it, how would you.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Feel like this is the end of it, right.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I'll call you to go out again.
- 1:30Speaker 1: No, that's okay, that's okay.
- 1:33Speaker 2: That's kind of passive, aggressive, but also very direct and rejective.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Has never happened you handle it like Sophia.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Has any guy ever said that to you?
- 1:43Speaker 1: Thank god?
- 1:43Speaker 5: No, oh my god, I think.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I've had that happen to you.
- 1:47Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I feel like that would ruin me. I've done it
- 1:49Speaker 1: to somebody before.
- 1:51Speaker 2: You could do it in the like how'd you do it?
- 1:53Speaker 7: Yeah, Well, Heath stood me up prior and so he
- 1:56Speaker 7: wanted to do Yeah, he wanted to make it up
- 1:58Speaker 7: to me.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And I was like, I'm good, thank you.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Well that's rude, like the way you said I'm good,
- 2:03Speaker 2: thank you. But he was rude too, So yeah, not
- 2:05Speaker 2: going to work out excited about that. To figure it
- 2:07Speaker 2: out it is kiss FM. What was your first job, Tanya?
- 2:12Speaker 7: I worked at a coffee shop called the Daily Grind
- 2:14Speaker 7: in Long Beach.
- 2:16Speaker 2: My first job was mowing lawns in the neighborhood. I
- 2:19Speaker 2: would charge like twelve bucks eighteen bucks to bag it,
- 2:22Speaker 2: and I was very excited, Like I liked that job.
- 2:23Speaker 2: It was good. I do it on the weekends. It'sist.
- 2:26Speaker 4: What was your babysitting I actually that's me and my
- 2:29Speaker 4: friend Teresa. We made flyers with our pictures on them.
- 2:34Speaker 4: We were thirteen years old, and we passed them all
- 2:36Speaker 4: around the neighborhood like a babysitters club, like a full
- 2:38Speaker 4: blown business.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Did you get work?
- 2:40Speaker 1: We got one client, all.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Right, So I'm curious. What did you charge like per
- 2:46Speaker 2: hour per sitting.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I can't remember.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I want to say it was ten dollars, Like, I
- 2:50Speaker 4: don't think it was anything crazy, like ten twelve dollars
- 2:53Speaker 4: an hour.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That was basically so.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I was reading this. I don't know why this struck me,
- 2:58Speaker 2: but I saw it. The hourly eight nationwide is twenty
- 3:01Speaker 2: six dollars for one child, yeah, thirty for two. In
- 3:06Speaker 2: LA it's about thirty thirty four bucks. But can you
- 3:09Speaker 2: charge for like if I ever have kids, right, yeah,
- 3:12Speaker 2: and I need a sitter which will preab be you
- 3:15Speaker 2: tiny Sophia.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Bring that baby over to my house.
- 3:18Speaker 2: But do you charge more per child?
- 3:20Speaker 4: Yes, you have to give a little bit more because
- 3:22Speaker 4: you have multiple three kids, so I definitely do.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It's gone up.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Can you offer, like, Mikaela, do you babysit now?
- 3:28Speaker 1: I do? Yeah?
- 3:30Speaker 2: So can you offer to do more tasks and get
- 3:32Speaker 2: more money, like drive the kids to school or stay longer.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 8: They'll usually ask me if I can like watch the
- 3:38Speaker 8: dog or walk him like on a lunch break or something,
- 3:41Speaker 8: and they'll pay me more.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so like two bucks, ten bucks, five bucks.
- 3:46Speaker 8: I feel like they'll give me like twenty bucks.
- 3:48Speaker 2: What's the average? So when you babysit for a night,
- 3:51Speaker 2: what's your average takeaway?
- 3:53Speaker 9: Uh?
- 3:53Speaker 8: So I watched two kids and it's twenty five an hour?
- 3:56Speaker 2: Okay? And do you report that? Never mind? So it's
- 4:06Speaker 2: a good side hustle though, it is right, it's a
- 4:08Speaker 2: good Michaela. When does your next babysits?
- 4:12Speaker 8: I pick them up from school sometimes, so probably today?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Actually is that kind of like that's assistant like work,
- 4:17Speaker 2: isn't it?
- 4:18Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 4:19Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:19Speaker 4: But you get to know these kids, and so she's
- 4:22Speaker 4: so like, they're so comfortable with her.
- 4:24Speaker 8: Yeah, I've been with them for six years. Like they're
- 4:26Speaker 8: like family. So I love the mom and hanging out
- 4:29Speaker 8: with the dad too. They've come out and drank with
- 4:30Speaker 8: my friends and I. So we're just really close to
- 4:33Speaker 8: like family.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Disney. By the time I have kids, your kids could
- 4:36Speaker 2: baby sit.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Seriously, I mean you're talking.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I have I have Yeah, you told me, isn't this
- 4:45Speaker 2: the year to get on a horse or something?
- 4:47Speaker 4: Babies born this year the year of the fire Horse,
- 4:49Speaker 4: are going to be like super babies?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Is that right? So I gotta hurry up and no.
- 4:54Speaker 7: And your Valentine's fortune was you will find love this year.
- 4:57Speaker 2: This is going to be such a great year.
- 5:00Speaker 1: That be awesome.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Cross your fingers, Sipprina carbon you're cut them. So we've
- 5:06Speaker 2: had some you know, bad weather, some rain, some cold
- 5:08Speaker 2: here and Ruby brought this up. You wanted to order
- 5:11Speaker 2: some groceries delivery and you felt some guilt about making
- 5:15Speaker 2: somebody deliver in the weather. Is that right? Yeah, let's
- 5:17Speaker 2: talk about that. Should we feel guilt when we order
- 5:20Speaker 2: something and the weather's not great? In La it was
- 5:23Speaker 2: cold rainy, slippery. What happened?
- 5:25Speaker 10: Yeah, So I basically went into door dash, I added
- 5:28Speaker 10: everything to my car, and then because I didn't want
- 5:30Speaker 10: to go outside, it was pouring. It was like when
- 5:31Speaker 10: it was pouring, not just a little bit of rain.
- 5:33Speaker 10: I was like, right, this is not convenient. And then
- 5:36Speaker 10: as I was going to check out, I felt really guilty.
- 5:39Speaker 10: I was like, wait, I don't even want to do this.
- 5:41Speaker 10: Why am I going to make someone else do this
- 5:43Speaker 10: right now?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Because they're paid to do it?
- 5:45Speaker 4: You're not, yes, but I've definitely done that, and I
- 5:50Speaker 4: have the veto the whole thing.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And I was like, you know what, I'm just gonna
- 5:52Speaker 1: wait till tomorrow.
- 5:54Speaker 2: But would they rather not be doing runs when they'd
- 5:56Speaker 2: be rather out doing stuff so they could make some money.
- 5:57Speaker 1: The rain was so intense last week. It was very intense.
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's what made me feel bad.
- 6:01Speaker 5: It wasn't just like a gentle rain.
- 6:03Speaker 10: It was like pouring, and I have some stairs like
- 6:06Speaker 10: going up to my house, so I just was like, oh,
- 6:08Speaker 10: I didn't want anything to happen to them.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I would feel so guilty.
- 6:12Speaker 2: It just yeah, I don't know. I feel like, if
- 6:15Speaker 2: it's my job, I would want to like serve in
- 6:17Speaker 2: the rain. It would be like, really, you know, a
- 6:19Speaker 2: good thing to get there. You're in need these necessities,
- 6:22Speaker 2: you need water, you need whatever you need. I want
- 6:26Speaker 2: to be there or get it to you in that
- 6:27Speaker 2: inclement weather.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But at the very least double tip, you know, like
- 6:31Speaker 1: tip more.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah all that.
- 6:33Speaker 10: I was curious, like how how dashers feel or how
- 6:36Speaker 10: people who do postmates feel about it too?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Dashers reach out, I mean Dashers, I'll tell you, Dashers
- 6:40Speaker 2: in New York this week are not happy. No, yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 2: that is not much easier to do it here than there.
- 6:46Speaker 2: But yeah, Dashers, what do you think if it's bad weather?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Should we lay off? Should we not ask you to
- 6:51Speaker 2: do stuff? Or do you want the job? Do you
- 6:53Speaker 2: want the run?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Yeah? That's interesting, very interesting.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Right now? Who's going to the doctor today? This week? Soon? Anybody?
- 7:00Speaker 11: All right?
- 7:01Speaker 1: I'm going next week?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Great. I want to tell you about the germiest, most
- 7:05Speaker 2: disgusting place in the doctor's office. Yeah, I gotta tell
- 7:10Speaker 2: you it's a doctor's office. It shouldn't be that dirty. No,
- 7:12Speaker 2: it is next kiss a kiss FM. All right, So
- 7:17Speaker 2: quote of the day coming in a second. But like
- 7:18Speaker 2: when you go to the doctor's office. They always give
- 7:20Speaker 2: me a clipboard and they say fill all the stuff out,
- 7:22Speaker 2: and I have filled out right, yeah, check check chuck
- 7:25Speaker 2: check check sign. So the dirtiest place in the doctor's
- 7:30Speaker 2: office is that clipboard. It's the clip yeah. Id it
- 7:38Speaker 2: has more than forty six thousand times more germs than
- 7:41Speaker 2: a toilet seat. Question the clip pad. That's crazy.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I never have to tell about that.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Tell your friends that that's crazy. Today's quote what is
- 7:53Speaker 2: not started today is never finished by tomorrow, meaning you
- 7:57Speaker 2: get a jump on it. So tony doctor next week. No,
- 8:01Speaker 2: no clippork please yeah yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Bring your own gloves.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, bring gloves.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna look so interesting.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Nate got him there. Use their gloves. Then good morning.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Why don't two point seven Kiss FM is on Los Angeles.
- 8:14Speaker 2: The Kiss FM headlines with siciny.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Well, thirty one thousand healthcare workers will end their monthlock
- 8:20Speaker 4: strike and return to Kaiser Permanente facilities today.
- 8:23Speaker 1: The Lyly Unified School Board is borrowing.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Another two hundred and fifty million in bonds to subtle
- 8:28Speaker 4: claims of misconduct, in addition to the five hundred million
- 8:31Speaker 4: authorized less than a year ago. A Riverside County real
- 8:35Speaker 4: estate developer will buy the so called Graffiti Towers in
- 8:38Speaker 4: downtown LA with plans to revitalize the area, and Harry
- 8:41Speaker 4: Styles will take the stage as the host and musical
- 8:44Speaker 4: guest of.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live on March fourteenth.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Kiss FMLA, good morning, so good to be here. Beautiful sunshine, warmth, heat,
- 8:53Speaker 2: what we want in La? I think we have somebody
- 8:56Speaker 2: new here in the back room, right we do. Let's
- 9:00Speaker 2: look at that. This is your moment person. Hello, Lauren,
- 9:04Speaker 2: so Hi, this is Lola Martinez. Now, Lola, you are
- 9:09Speaker 2: Are you auditioning for social media here? Like a job
- 9:12Speaker 2: on our staff for social Yes?
- 9:14Speaker 5: Yes, I am?
- 9:15Speaker 2: And what does that entail?
- 9:16Speaker 5: Honestly, I'm not too sure. I'm kind of finding how
- 9:20Speaker 5: long I go?
- 9:21Speaker 2: So? All right, So you're auditioning, auditioning, I mean you're
- 9:24Speaker 2: trying out interviewing. I don't know what's the right word.
- 9:26Speaker 2: But you're looking for a job on the social team.
- 9:28Speaker 12: And you grew up in Arlita I did, or Pacoma
- 9:31Speaker 12: seems it good.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Where'd you go to school?
- 9:33Speaker 12: I went to Nordaen High School in srimn Oaks good Nights,
- 9:36Speaker 12: and then I am currently at Seasun Calctate Orthage.
- 9:41Speaker 2: How is it going there?
- 9:42Speaker 5: It's good, it's good. The campus is big.
- 9:44Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm a second year, so I'm kind of already
- 9:48Speaker 12: used to the campus and everything.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But I fear you're smiling? Are you competitive with her?
- 9:51Speaker 2: With the like? What are you smiling about?
- 9:54Speaker 1: I love season. My entire family went to Seasun.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Oh, skill outadors.
- 10:00Speaker 2: All right, let's see what else I need to know.
- 10:01Speaker 2: So you work here part time?
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yes?
- 10:04Speaker 2: We met at Wingo Tango back in twenty nineteen, right,
- 10:06Speaker 2: we sure did?
- 10:07Speaker 12: We sure did? And then we met last year at
- 10:10Speaker 12: jingle Ball. Like I ran into you thought I was
- 10:12Speaker 12: Sistan's daughter.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Day and I'll say that, yeah, I did. Happened.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I mean her kids grow so fast, everybody, all these
- 10:23Speaker 2: kids get to be my size fast. That's great, But
- 10:26Speaker 2: you actually are the daughter of somebody that that Tim Martinez, yes,
- 10:30Speaker 2: Forward Kiss Promotions director who worked here. Now that's very
- 10:34Speaker 2: interesting that now that I've been here so long, staff
- 10:37Speaker 2: members who have stayed, worked and left have kids old
- 10:40Speaker 2: enough to be so young they can start to work here.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Fascinating dynamic and I go way back.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Yes, Oh really tell me? Well, tell me what I
- 10:49Speaker 2: need to know about it.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You probably before her own memories, for.
- 10:53Speaker 5: I know we go way back, but I can't remember most.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Because she like her whole family.
- 10:58Speaker 4: They would vacation with us, and when I would do
- 11:00Speaker 4: the Disney cruises when I used to do the Midday
- 11:01Speaker 4: Show and yes, and so we would do like the
- 11:05Speaker 4: Disney Cruise for a whole week, and then Tim Martinez
- 11:07Speaker 4: would bring his family. Aka, here's Lauren Lolo and she
- 11:12Speaker 4: was maybe what five at the time.
- 11:14Speaker 1: That aout right yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Well, so what I'm hearing, Lolo is, if you don't
- 11:18Speaker 2: get the job, it's Systney's fault because she really knows.
- 11:23Speaker 2: What did your dad Tim say about working with us?
- 11:25Speaker 2: I want to know that.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a good luck and leave me out of it.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I love that guy, just like I love him
- 11:35Speaker 4: so much too.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Are you guys close me.
- 11:38Speaker 5: And my dad? Yeah, very close. I'm like spitting image
- 11:41Speaker 5: of him.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say that definitely. They're like the life
- 11:45Speaker 1: of the party.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yes, all right, So you're here for a few days
- 11:48Speaker 2: to see if you get this job, which is exciting,
- 11:50Speaker 2: so many tests ahead of you. But we like you
- 11:53Speaker 2: because Tim. We love Tim so that's a good start, Lola, Lola,
- 11:59Speaker 2: that's for Lauren.
- 12:01Speaker 12: Yes, that's I don't really understand it, honestly, I just
- 12:04Speaker 12: kind of grew up with it.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It happened when she was like everyone just called her lolo.
- 12:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I just kind of came out of one day
- 12:10Speaker 5: and it stuck.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Can we call you that?
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yes? Of course, Okay, I love that.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Thank you, Lolo, so nice to meet you. Good luck
- 12:17Speaker 2: with your interview today.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Kiss FM two point seven, Kiss FM second Date Update time.
- 12:24Speaker 2: LA's number one in music station, so it says here,
- 12:27Speaker 2: listen to this sisnet Tanya. They met in line at
- 12:30Speaker 2: Pete's and had an incredible first date at the Cinematic
- 12:33Speaker 2: appear and at the end of the date they actually
- 12:35Speaker 2: made out great. Right then he said I'll call you
- 12:39Speaker 2: and she said that's okay, Like what does that mean?
- 12:44Speaker 1: And like, how do you say bye? After that?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Well, it was going well until the kiss. Maybe was
- 12:50Speaker 2: the kiss that bad or awkward?
- 12:53Speaker 9: Maybe?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Pat good morning, Hey, good morning? Can you tell us
- 12:58Speaker 2: exactly how she said that's okay after you kissed her.
- 13:03Speaker 8: I mean kind of like that.
- 13:05Speaker 11: She just looked at me and she's like, yeah, I'm
- 13:08Speaker 11: kind of good and then just left.
- 13:11Speaker 2: But it was all fine until the kiss.
- 13:14Speaker 11: Yeah, it would the entire thing like it. It was
- 13:17Speaker 11: a good date, and I mean everything leading up to
- 13:20Speaker 11: it was good and then just I mean, I really
- 13:24Speaker 11: don't know what happened.
- 13:25Speaker 2: But do you, like, do you have a reputation for
- 13:27Speaker 2: being a good kisser or not? Yeah?
- 13:30Speaker 11: I thought so. I mean, no one's ever complained before,
- 13:33Speaker 11: so and I was like, I went and like checked
- 13:35Speaker 11: my breath. My breath was fine, and I wasn't sure what. Yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 11: I have no idea.
- 13:41Speaker 2: So I mean, how could it go so perfectly? And
- 13:44Speaker 2: then at the end of that that moment would make
- 13:46Speaker 2: me think everything's great?
- 13:47Speaker 12: Right?
- 13:47Speaker 2: You do that, it's exciting, you get chills, you get
- 13:50Speaker 2: that feeling, and then she shuts you down. So, I mean,
- 13:53Speaker 2: is this neat? Is it the kiss that went wrong?
- 13:55Speaker 4: It's either that or the or you think the date
- 13:58Speaker 4: was great and fantastic, but she doesn't think the date
- 14:01Speaker 4: was great and fantastic.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Like what did y'all do when you were on the pier?
- 14:05Speaker 11: Yeah, but if the date wasn't good, we wouldn't have kissed.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Right, Like I think, I don't know.
- 14:11Speaker 4: I've definitely kissed guys because I just felt bad.
- 14:17Speaker 1: And then then that's what she's like. Okay, I'm good.
- 14:20Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 14:21Speaker 2: All right, Pat, We're gonna get her on the phone
- 14:23Speaker 2: and see what we can find out. But I think
- 14:25Speaker 2: something happened at the kiss.
- 14:28Speaker 11: All right, Yeah?
- 14:30Speaker 2: Are you sure? Honestly?
- 14:31Speaker 9: Bro?
- 14:32Speaker 2: Are you sure you want to know?
- 14:35Speaker 11: Honestly? I mean, how else am I going to learn?
- 14:37Speaker 2: So? Okay, that's the attitude, Yeah, exactly, stronger than I
- 14:41Speaker 2: would be. Second Date Update, Kiss FM l A. All right,
- 14:46Speaker 2: So second date update. So Pat goes out with Lauren.
- 14:50Speaker 2: It goes great in his view. Then at the end
- 14:53Speaker 2: they kiss, and after the kiss he says, I'll call
- 14:57Speaker 2: you and she says that's okay, awkward.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Roy, I'll call you.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but it has to be the kiss that went wrong.
- 15:04Speaker 2: So Pat, we found Lauren. She's gonna come on the
- 15:07Speaker 2: air with us. Be very very quiet, Please don't say anything.
- 15:10Speaker 11: Okay, all right, all.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Right, here we go. Hello, Lauren, Hi, Hi, It's Ryan
- 15:18Speaker 2: seacrestisny Tanya. You are on Kiss FM right now being broadcast.
- 15:22Speaker 9: How are you good? How are you great?
- 15:26Speaker 2: So we're calling you about a guy named Pat that
- 15:28Speaker 2: you met and went out with.
- 15:32Speaker 9: Yeah, I remember that guy.
- 15:34Speaker 8: How is.
- 15:36Speaker 2: It is? Yeah? Exactly?
- 15:37Speaker 1: Yea, thanks for listening.
- 15:41Speaker 2: So how to go with pat? Though?
- 15:46Speaker 9: Well, it was fine, it didn't end super well.
- 15:53Speaker 2: So what do you mean by don.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Well, at the very end, he he kisses me, and
- 16:02Speaker 6: it's uh, was pretty bad.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Okay, what this is very interesting for everybody listening right now?
- 16:12Speaker 2: What is bad? What makes a kiss bad? Everybody wants
- 16:15Speaker 2: to do it right? And well what made it bad?
- 16:17Speaker 9: Specifically specifically keeping your eyes open through the whole kiss.
- 16:24Speaker 1: No, there's nothing wrong meaning.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Meaning oh gosh, meaning he kept his eyes like open
- 16:31Speaker 2: stare at you.
- 16:33Speaker 9: Yeah, he my, uh my eyes opened for a brief
- 16:38Speaker 9: second because I could kind of feel when looking at
- 16:42Speaker 9: me and his eyes were fully open, just just staring
- 16:47Speaker 9: at me.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I think that's not great. I think for the hells
- 16:53Speaker 2: that it's it's it's uncomfortable. You felt it, so it's uncomfortable.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Everything went well except for that, and to me, that
- 16:59Speaker 2: is a deal.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Are Oh my gosh, Well, Tony.
- 17:03Speaker 2: You only say that because you never close your eyes
- 17:05Speaker 2: when you kissed.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Don't knock it until you try it.
- 17:08Speaker 2: But hold on, can we talk about Lauren? So, Lauren,
- 17:11Speaker 2: would you want to go out with Pat again.
- 17:16Speaker 9: I don't think so. I know, well, no, wait a.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Minute, what if he closes his eyes? This is fixable,
- 17:22Speaker 1: This is fixable.
- 17:26Speaker 9: I don't know if I can just get past that.
- 17:29Speaker 9: I don't know if I could get past how creaky
- 17:31Speaker 9: and weird it was.
- 17:32Speaker 1: No, it's a creepy you want to see you, it's.
- 17:34Speaker 3: So creepy, and hang out kiss Robbie sometimes.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, come, let's please come back. Pin pin
- 17:44Speaker 2: pin Hey Pat, Pat is on the phone with his
- 17:46Speaker 2: lawn Pat. Does that make sense? I guess you don't
- 17:49Speaker 2: close your eyes. You stare at her and it is awkward.
- 17:52Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 17:52Speaker 11: Can I can of defend myself a little bit here.
- 17:56Speaker 11: So the reason why my eyes were open was because
- 17:59Speaker 11: we're kissing and you just stuck her tongue in my
- 18:01Speaker 11: mouth and this is like a first like, you know,
- 18:03Speaker 11: good night kiss, and that's what I was kind of
- 18:06Speaker 11: just yeah, I was, yeah, but like the first I
- 18:09Speaker 11: don't know. The tongue was a little it was it
- 18:11Speaker 11: was very I don't want to say aggressive, but it
- 18:14Speaker 11: was passionate. So my eyes open to kind of like
- 18:18Speaker 11: out of shock, and yeah, eyes don't I don't think
- 18:22Speaker 11: I normally kiss with my eyes open?
- 18:26Speaker 1: Are you saying you saying Lauren's a bad kisser?
- 18:29Speaker 11: I don't know. It was just it was surprising to me.
- 18:32Speaker 11: It was just I don't know. I thought, you know,
- 18:34Speaker 11: like one of those awkward first moment kind of situation.
- 18:37Speaker 11: I didn't think it'd be enough to just like call
- 18:38Speaker 11: it quits.
- 18:40Speaker 2: So I have a rule. If the first kiss is
- 18:43Speaker 2: bad and goes like this, it's over. You don't return this.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Is it? Like the first kiss has to be right
- 18:50Speaker 2: or it's not meant to be And this is definitely
- 18:52Speaker 2: not right, and it's not that difficult the first kiss.
- 18:55Speaker 2: If you can't get that right and aligned, I think
- 18:57Speaker 2: you guys are not meant to be together all right?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Just like shook it well, Lauren, you don't want to
- 19:07Speaker 2: see him again? Right hard?
- 19:11Speaker 3: No?
- 19:12Speaker 9: Sorry?
- 19:13Speaker 2: And Pat, I do think call Tanya. You guys talk
- 19:16Speaker 2: about this because you both need to close your eyes
- 19:19Speaker 2: a little bit when you do it, just a little bit.
- 19:21Speaker 2: You guys can practice on FaceTime, okay, you know, mimic it.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Thank you, Pat, good luck, Thank you Lauren for taking
- 19:28Speaker 2: our call. I would be freaked out too. I'm telling you.
- 19:31Speaker 2: There's little things like that, like what if someone's like
- 19:33Speaker 2: sleeping next to you and you wake up and they're
- 19:36Speaker 2: just staring at you, so nice.
- 19:37Speaker 1: She probably does that every day.
- 19:39Speaker 4: She was just staring at me right now, and I
- 19:41Speaker 4: was like, what turn away.
- 19:45Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest Taylor Swift KISSFM, it was
- 19:53Speaker 2: so fun to give away the qualifying chances to go
- 19:55Speaker 2: to Madison Square Garden in New York to see Harry.
- 19:58Speaker 2: We did that lot right week. We've been doing that.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Now five people are qualified. I'm calling the actual person
- 20:05Speaker 2: who is going to get the trip airfare done, sisany yep,
- 20:08Speaker 2: hotel handled, spending cash done, and tickets to the show.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Well not just any show, Harry Ween.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Oh and exactly. Okay, guys, you're ready, don't be nervous.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Hello.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Hi is Amanda there?
- 20:30Speaker 10: Yes, Amanda speaking.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Oh Amanda Lamb. Yes, Oh, hi Amanda Lamb. It's so funny.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I'm Ryan Seacrest. Nice to have you on the phone.
- 20:40Speaker 9: Oh hi, Liyan Hi.
- 20:42Speaker 2: What are you doing at Colvena right now this morning?
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm driving to work. I'm on my way right now.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Oh great, I'm at work right now, and I've got
- 20:50Speaker 2: Sisney and Tany with me here at work.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Hi, Amanda I Hi, Susany, Hi Donnie.
- 20:56Speaker 2: So do you remember you qualified to go see Harry Style.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I was in New York City, Yes, and remember I
- 21:04Speaker 2: said if you win, I'll call you back. Yes, You're
- 21:08Speaker 2: the only person I'm calling back.
- 21:11Speaker 10: Oh my god, really, oh my god, thank you so much.
- 21:14Speaker 2: You want a trip for two? Torry so much?
- 21:22Speaker 5: Are I'm super excited and I'm gonna take my little sister.
- 21:27Speaker 1: She's gonna be so excited.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Harry Ween with you and your little
- 21:32Speaker 2: sister in October in New York City at MSG. We
- 21:35Speaker 2: got it all covered, hotel, airfare, cash, tickets done.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Oh my god, thank you so much.
- 21:42Speaker 7: I'm gonna cry.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I'm so happy for you. Well, thank you for listening,
- 21:46Speaker 2: thank you for picking up your phone and tell us
- 21:50Speaker 2: about we're not going, So you tell us about the
- 21:52Speaker 2: show when you get back.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I would be so happy to thank you so much.
- 21:57Speaker 2: When are you going to tell your sister about it?
- 22:00Speaker 9: Well?
- 22:00Speaker 6: Her birthday is in October, so I think I might
- 22:03Speaker 6: just surprise her.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Per Wow, I would not be able to hold that secret.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I was like, let's call her next so drive safely
- 22:13Speaker 2: to work and congratulations, we will send you out there.
- 22:16Speaker 2: For that big show. Okay, thank you for listening to Kiss.
- 22:18Speaker 1: FM, Thank you so much.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Hang on, Yeah, I'm like you. I cannot keep acy
- 22:25Speaker 2: like maybe a day. I'm the worst centre Sublime one
- 22:29Speaker 2: of two point seven KISSFM Sunshine Today highs in the
- 22:32Speaker 2: low eighties. It looks really nice all week. We need it,
- 22:36Speaker 2: we deserve it, we want it. So excited for that now. Okay,
- 22:39Speaker 2: So the group text who was it that said they
- 22:41Speaker 2: were crying when they.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Saw that Tanya was crying. I was crying.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Tanya was crying. So I get this group text, have
- 22:46Speaker 2: you seen anybody seen this thing about the monkey, the
- 22:49Speaker 2: punch the monkey? And then the next text was I'm crying,
- 22:53Speaker 2: And I thought, you know what, I don't really want
- 22:55Speaker 2: to open up this chain to find out why you
- 22:56Speaker 2: were crying, because what if it's like a thing where
- 22:59Speaker 2: we have to get very like yeah, Because.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Then I responded the same girl.
- 23:03Speaker 7: And then everybody's crying about this monkey.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it seemed like a little bit better.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's an orphaned baby monkey, right. His name is Punch.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Punch was rejected by his mother at birth. This happened
- 23:18Speaker 4: sometimes with primates, and so he had to be raised
- 23:21Speaker 4: by the zoo uh workers, and so he became really
- 23:26Speaker 4: attached to humans versus his own kind. And so when
- 23:28Speaker 4: they try to interact him with the other monkeys, they
- 23:31Speaker 4: were really mean to him, and they wouldn't play with him,
- 23:33Speaker 4: and they would punch him around and like they just
- 23:35Speaker 4: literally just like smack him. And so the zoo gave
- 23:37Speaker 4: him this stuffy that is now sold out at Ikea
- 23:40Speaker 4: by the way, it's an orangutang stuffy, and he would
- 23:44Speaker 4: basically when he would get punched from these other monkeys,
- 23:47Speaker 4: he would run to his orangutang and then just hold
- 23:49Speaker 4: onto his little stuffy and carried it around like.
- 23:52Speaker 1: The whole like habitat.
- 23:54Speaker 4: And so they little by little, every day got a
- 23:57Speaker 4: little bit better for Punch, and Punch never gave up.
- 24:00Speaker 4: He continued to try to interact with the other monkeys,
- 24:03Speaker 4: and finally some have accepted him, and he's now you know,
- 24:06Speaker 4: being included in like the grooming like where they groom
- 24:09Speaker 4: each other, and every day is getting better for Punch.
- 24:13Speaker 2: But we are just obsessed with him, am I like
- 24:16Speaker 2: less of a person that that kind of breaks my
- 24:19Speaker 2: heart sometimes more like animal stories break my heart more
- 24:22Speaker 2: sometimes than human stories.
- 24:23Speaker 7: Ryan, there's a video of him trying to like take
- 24:26Speaker 7: the stuff he's arm and like wrap it around him
- 24:28Speaker 7: to cuddle him. Yeah, and every time I see that one,
- 24:31Speaker 7: I'm like instant tears.
- 24:33Speaker 2: But it strikes me more than if I were to
- 24:34Speaker 2: see a human in that situation.
- 24:36Speaker 13: Yes, no, right, you really feel for I guess because
- 24:43Speaker 13: there they can't communicate with us and they're a little
- 24:45Speaker 13: more helpless.
- 24:46Speaker 2: It just breaks your heart. It is so cute. Now,
- 24:50Speaker 2: what is this Instagram page where I see all of
- 24:52Speaker 2: punch and then a woman in a bikini.
- 24:54Speaker 7: That's my Discover page right now. It's all Punch in
- 24:59Speaker 7: a bikini. It's not me, it's a girl from Love Island.
- 25:02Speaker 7: Oh my god, that's basically my wife in a nutshell
- 25:05Speaker 7: right now.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Okay, Punch sweet love that now.
- 25:09Speaker 4: And by the way, like everyone at the zoo in
- 25:11Speaker 4: Tokyo is like the lines are crazy because they all
- 25:14Speaker 4: want to come and see Punchy like a celebrity.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Exactly, come from all over the world. We've got a
- 25:20Speaker 2: lot of these tickets to Lego Land for you now,
- 25:22Speaker 2: and Brenda is going to jump on the line try
- 25:24Speaker 2: and win these. Hi, Brenda, how are you in Londale.
- 25:28Speaker 7: I'm great, Ryan, How are.
- 25:30Speaker 2: You super good? So we're gonna play high school mascot
- 25:33Speaker 2: or Breakfast Cereal. You ready? High school mascot or Breakfast Cereal.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:41Speaker 4: Sure, I'm ready.
- 25:42Speaker 2: It's so good. So you got to get three right
- 25:46Speaker 2: before you get three wrong? Here we go. You're gonna
- 25:49Speaker 2: get this guy.
- 25:49Speaker 9: There you go?
- 25:50Speaker 2: All right? So the first one is Sparks, Sparks mascot
- 25:54Speaker 2: or Breakfast Cereal.
- 25:56Speaker 11: I'm gonna say mascot for that one.
- 25:58Speaker 9: I've never heard of the spark Cereal.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Need to beach, I need to beach the guy. Okay, Now,
- 26:04Speaker 2: Queen Garoos Quang Garoos mascot or Cereal.

- 26:13Speaker 1: Yeah wow.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Next one, all right, for the Wind, you're so good
- 26:18Speaker 2: at this. For the Wind mascot or Cereal Breakers, Breakers,
- 26:23Speaker 2: mascot or Cereal.
- 26:25Speaker 11: I'm going with mascot.
- 26:27Speaker 9: Breakers.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Sounds like beach, high school mascot. Breakers. Done. I'm so easy. Congratulations.
- 26:37Speaker 2: You want to Lego Land? You have kids?
- 26:39Speaker 9: Yeah, we're going to Lego.
- 26:42Speaker 1: My daughter is right here.
- 26:43Speaker 2: She's so happy.
- 26:43Speaker 9: She wants to say Hi Hi.
- 26:45Speaker 12: I leish the one who called in this is my phone.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Well, thank you, Mom. She wont you take us to
- 26:52Speaker 2: Lego Land? So good on you. Thank you for having

- 26:56Speaker 9: Yah.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, she's so excited. I could tell I could get
- 27:08Speaker 2: her some quangaroos. See if she likes them.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they make the thing I think.
- 27:14Speaker 2: In nineteen seventy two, I think they were going all right.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Brenda enjoyed Legoland And thank you Beverly for getting Mom
- 27:20Speaker 2: on the phone. We got more tickets coming soon.
- 27:22Speaker 12: We love you, love you, I love you.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It's kiss You on air with Ryan Seacrest Alex warning
- 27:34Speaker 2: tickets to go see Alex in his second here one
- 27:36Speaker 2: of two point seven Kiss FM. Are you single? Are
- 27:39Speaker 2: you happy about it? This is so exciting. I screenshot
- 27:43Speaker 2: at this and send it to Mark for the show.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Listen to this and I just want to make sure
- 27:47Speaker 2: that you hear this. Sisney Tanya, Yeah, Sophia, Michaela. Whoever's single?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Nearly half of a half of Americans are single today
- 27:55Speaker 2: right now. They're single? Wow, And they don't mind it.
- 27:58Speaker 2: They like it.
- 28:00Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 28:00Speaker 2: They think they don't need someone. They say being single
- 28:05Speaker 2: is great. It's a lifestyle. You don't need someone else
- 28:09Speaker 2: to fulfill you. You don't long for a relationship, you
- 28:13Speaker 2: prefer to be alone. This gives me hope.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Well, do you prefer all this?
- 28:18Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't. I don't think I do, but maybe
- 28:22Speaker 2: if all these people do, I could do it.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Don't try to convince yourself just because of something you read.
- 28:27Speaker 1: But I agree with you on the second half of this.
- 28:29Speaker 2: By the way, so single women are much more likely
- 28:33Speaker 2: to prioritize travel friendships over partners. Like traveling with partners.
- 28:38Speaker 2: It's like this was written for me. Do you feel
- 28:42Speaker 2: I mean, when MICHAELA you're single, do you ever feel
- 28:45Speaker 2: like it's just it's just a lifestyle, Like why on
- 28:48Speaker 2: the hunt? Yeah?
- 28:48Speaker 8: I mean I'm trying to meet somebody. But my life
- 28:51Speaker 8: with my friends who are also single, is so fun,
- 28:54Speaker 8: Like we enjoy being single because we are single, so
- 28:56Speaker 8: we love to travel together. And my friends and I
- 28:59Speaker 8: were actually talking about this over the weekend. We're like,
- 29:01Speaker 8: we don't need a man, you know.
- 29:03Speaker 2: But do people tell us we need a man because
- 29:07Speaker 2: they have one and they want us to be one
- 29:08Speaker 2: of them.
- 29:09Speaker 4: In like the back of everyone's head. Everyone that's like
- 29:12Speaker 4: hovering over them.
- 29:12Speaker 7: Well, no, and our system tells us that you need to, like,
- 29:16Speaker 7: you get all these benefits when you get married. It's like,
- 29:18Speaker 7: why don't we have these benefits for single people, like
- 29:21Speaker 7: what like tax breaks when you get married and healthcare.
- 29:25Speaker 7: There's so many things, that's true, A.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Lot of benefits also for being single. Don't have to call,
- 29:31Speaker 2: don't have to go home, don't have to do certain things,
- 29:33Speaker 2: you don't have to report back, don't have to ask
- 29:35Speaker 2: for permission. I don't know. I just saw and thought
- 29:37Speaker 2: maybe I should reframe my single hood and get into it.
- 29:42Speaker 2: It's you people to push it on us O. Married people.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Oh way, you don't have to do all those things
- 29:46Speaker 4: if you get married either. I don't like you have
- 29:48Speaker 4: to ask for permission to do.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Things you don't know. I bet you do. Really, my
- 29:52Speaker 2: friends always have to ask.
- 29:56Speaker 3: I guess maybe he has to ask me. That makes sense, E,
- 30:00Speaker 3: I see how it goes. Anyway, if you are single,
- 30:04Speaker 3: everybody else is too. Don't let those people who are
- 30:07Speaker 3: in relationships try to push you into something you don't want.
- 30:10Speaker 2: That's this morning's message. Kiss em twice seven, Kiss Seacrest here,
- 30:16Speaker 2: thanks for being here with us now. Tanya said that
- 30:20Speaker 2: if you're struggling with a gift or a gesture right
- 30:23Speaker 2: in your relationship that two people two stars are she
- 30:26Speaker 2: Katherine Catherine Schwarzenegger. Katherine Schwarzenegger has figured this out, is
- 30:30Speaker 2: that Patrick Schwarzenegger's sister.
- 30:32Speaker 7: It's his sister, so technically she's Katherine Swarzenegger Pratt. She's
- 30:35Speaker 7: married to Chris Pratt, but she was very touched by
- 30:38Speaker 7: an act of kindness from her sister in law, so
- 30:41Speaker 7: married to Patrick Schwarzenegger, her brother. In an interview with
- 30:44Speaker 7: People Magazine, she said, I just got a hand written
- 30:47Speaker 7: thank you note from my brother and his wife for
- 30:50Speaker 7: doing a fun weekend together. I was almost brought to
- 30:52Speaker 7: tears at the fact that she took time to write
- 30:54Speaker 7: the thank you card.
- 30:56Speaker 1: It's so classy.
- 30:57Speaker 7: And I read this and it just reminded me sometimes
- 31:00Speaker 7: always trying to find like we're always thinking of gifts
- 31:02Speaker 7: and thinking of things to get for people when less
- 31:05Speaker 7: is more, and sometimes a handwritten note goes such a
- 31:08Speaker 7: long way. And I think, especially now, there's something where
- 31:12Speaker 7: like everybody's kind of just feeling nostalgic right now, and
- 31:14Speaker 7: I feel like handwritten notes are such a classy gift
- 31:19Speaker 7: to get to her.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I agree, I really agree with that, and every time
- 31:22Speaker 2: I get one from someone, I feel inadequate about my
