- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Imagine walking into a store where everything is hard to find.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: The checkout lines are confusing and the staff is unhelpful.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: You'd most likely walk out, right?
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Same principle aligns to online and physical businesses today.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: If we don't make it easy for our customers to buy from us, we're essentially pushing them away.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: I remember when I first started my own business, uh, the initial struggle was to get people to understand and and and buy into my vision.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: The business was cluttered, the the processes were more cumbersome, and and I often received complaints about difficulty in finding information and exactly what I'm trying to put out there.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: And in my business, it's a little bit different because it's not an e-commerce business that is very, very heavy on the website.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: But nonetheless, if I make it hard for my clients to buy, then they won't.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: And so here's some practical tips for entrepreneurs.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Number one, focus on clarity.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Make sure your value proposition is clear and easily understood by your customers.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Even as a real estate investor, I must focus on clarity.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: If if an investor doesn't understand, hey, I'm gonna make$20,000 by doing this flip within three months.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Great.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: If it's I might make 20, I might make, you know, two, uh, I really don't know what I'm gonna do here.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: If I'm not giving them, these are the numbers, these are these are the, you know, this is the inspection, the photo, the photos, and so on, then they don't have the clarity to make a decision.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And if they don't have the clarity to make a decision, then they won't make a decision.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Invest in user experience.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Regularly update and test your website or storefront for user friendliness.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: For me, this looks more like uh updating my website, but also making sure, again, that I'm putting clarity in what I'm selling, as well as making it very, very clear when I'm purchasing a house from a seller.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: This is how we operate.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: This is what it's gonna look like to work with us, and this is you know when you're gonna get paid and all the crucial details that will allow them to make a decision.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Communicate your mission, align your business operations with your core mission to build a loyal customer base.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Now, uh, my company has core values that we stick to.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: And if if if we're faced with a situation that both options seem good, but one of them doesn't go with our core values, and we're not going to choose the option that goes against our core vet, our core mission, our core values, principles, whatever you want to call them.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Lastly, stay adaptable, be willing to adapt and change based on customer needs and feedback in real estate.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: This is very, very prominent because in December and in the winter, it's a slow season.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: We need to adjust in the summer to sell, sell, sell.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure many of you have a similar type of business.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Now, a quick question on this is how do I integrate my business into my mission into my business?
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And and for me, what I found to work best is clearly communicate your mission and your branding, marketing, and customer interactions, ensure that your products or services reflect your core values.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Thank you for joining me on the Reborn Podcast today.
