Latest / TFTC: A Bitcoin Podcast / #632: Bond Market Wars with Tom Luongo
Transcript
- 0:00You've had a dynamic where money has become freer than free.
- 0:10You talk about a Fed just gone nuts.
- 0:13All the central banks going nuts.
- 0:16So it's all acting like safe haven.
- 0:18I believe that in a world where central bankers are tripping over themselves to devalue their currency,
- 0:24Bitcoin wins.
- 0:25In the world of fiat currencies, Bitcoin is the victor.
- 0:28I mean, that's part of the bull case for Bitcoin.
- 0:31If you're not paying attention, you probably should be.
- 0:36Having been in the process of this move for the better part of a month, I've been somewhat disconnected, which seems like, I don't know if it's a good or bad time to be disconnected, but ending the week, I think this is becoming our thing.
- 0:48Friday night.
- 0:49Right.
- 0:50End of,
- 0:50uh,
- 0:51in the very chaotic weeks,
- 0:53we catch up.
- 0:53Uh,
- 0:55I'm sun kissed.
- 0:56I've got salt.
- 0:56I've got Atlantic ocean salt water on my skin right now.
- 1:00Just came out of the ocean.
- 1:01Right.
- 1:01I feel I'm relaxed.
- 1:03Good for you.
- 1:03Excited.
- 1:05Excited.
- 1:07Excited to,
- 1:08uh,
- 1:09to unpack everything that's going on.
- 1:11What the hell is going on?
- 1:13Where,
- 1:13where do we even start?
- 1:15That's a good question.
- 1:16There's so many things to say.
- 1:18say and I'll be honest with you
- 1:20Marty I have already done
- 1:22the whole
- 1:23I've done
- 1:25four or five things in the last
- 1:28three days
- 1:29multi-hour
- 1:31you know
- 1:33phone calls
- 1:35podcasts
- 1:36three and a half hour Twitter space on Tuesday night
- 1:39just got done with
- 1:41two hours with Alex
- 1:43Craner yesterday where
- 1:44I think Alex and I had our very first
- 1:47you know, serious disagreement about things ever, either public or privately.
- 1:53And it wasn't, you know, bad or anything, but I, it was, it was stressful for both of us.
- 1:58It was especially stressful for me because I, I don't like to, I, I, I love Alex too much to,
- 2:05you know, publicly disagree with him about things or, or knowing full well that I was probably going
- 2:09to trigger him. And, and so I, and I was really worried about that. And so it probably then
- 2:16my anxiety over that translated into my performance and like now I feel bad about that.
- 2:22So where are we? We have about five different domains where everything is like blowing up,
- 2:27right? You've got Israel, Iran. You've got what I'm uncovering in the, what I'm seeing in the
- 2:33financial markets. I just did a Bitcoin conference down in Tampa over the weekend. The Bitcoin Bay
- 2:40group invited me down there and I was able to chat with a bunch of Bitcoiners about all the
- 2:45stuff that I, you know, talk about, right. Which was great because, you know, they're,
- 2:50they had never really ever heard any of this stuff from me. Right. And I was brought in there
- 2:57specifically by my friend Chris Sullivan of Hiberian Decimus to, um, who's been on my podcast
- 3:02a couple of times and, um, and to discuss these things and to introduce those ideas to that
- 3:10community, which was very successful, by the way.
- 3:14And, yeah, it's been a hell of a week, right?
- 3:17All this is going on.
- 3:20I think it's clear that we have a civil war that's trying to start a civil war here in
- 3:25the United States.
- 3:27And it all comes back to the same thing.
- 3:31I keep saying it over and over again.
- 3:32It's all about the bond market, dude.
- 3:35I hate this.
- 3:36It's all about the bond market.
- 3:37Can they destroy the U.S. Treasury market?
- 3:40And keep capital from flowing into the U.S.
- 3:42It's always the same thing over and over and over again.
- 3:44And that's what I keep saying.
- 3:48And, you know, the stakes keep getting higher.
- 3:52But the target remains the same.
- 3:55That is a great place to start because I threw out a couple of tweets, one of which you responded to, particularly around interest rates and context of interest rates, Fed funds rate.
- 4:07And I think we should anchor around that.
- 4:09Like Trump, in this position with everything going on, whether it's immigration, civil war, Iran, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, we'll throw that in there.
- 4:23We've talked about this many times.
- 4:24He's focused on the economy, growth, making sure everything's okay, get to midterms.
- 4:29So it's Republicans can keep the House and the Senate and then roll into the 12-year plan from there, hopefully, if things are all humming.
- 4:38And I guess that's what I tweeted out. That's the one thing that's perplexing to me, particularly this week with everything going on in Israel and Iran is his continued battering of Jerome Powell to lower rates when it seems like the tariffs are working.
- 4:54It seems like the economy is doing much better than everybody was saying it was going to do once he got in office and started with his drastic policy changes.
- 5:06And to me, lowering rates is a sign of weakness if nothing is structurally wrong in the economy, if there's no liquidity problems in the plumbing of the financial system, if unemployment is at a good level, if inflation is at a good level.
- 5:20why rush to lower interest rates, particularly when a war is starting, another war is starting
- 5:25in the Middle East, which is going to be highly inflationary for oil prices if it continues to
- 5:30escalate. That would be the worst time to lower interest rates.
- 5:33Right. And when you look at it from that perspective, it's really, really difficult
- 5:38to be upset with Powell holding back on cutting at this point in time. I'll be honest with you,
- 5:48I spent the last couple days on trying to do all this,
- 5:55figure out what's going on with the war,
- 5:57and write this month's newsletter.
- 5:58And I was trying to write that, and it fits and starts all week.
- 6:03And I just finished the article where I talk about the markets,
- 6:09basically, in our portfolio review and all that.
- 6:11And I was looking at it, and when I took a look at the markets,
- 6:16It's it. Sometimes you think it's maybe it's wishful thinking.
- 6:20Some things that I know, I know these things well enough.
- 6:23Trust my instincts on this.
- 6:24It feels like the markets are starting to push back.
- 6:28That capital starting to fall back into the United States.
- 6:31We had a big wave where it all moved out into the, you know, into emerging markets in Europe.
- 6:36And now it's we're starting to see the rollover.
- 6:39We're starting to see the pushback this way again.
- 6:41And as much as they tried to pull the tide out of the U.S. and keep the money from flowing back in, you know, that was an operation.
- 6:49And they spent a lot of money on those operations.
- 6:52And I've talked about them.
- 6:53I don't remember.
- 6:54I think we talked about it back during the tariff.
- 6:56The last time I spoke was after the tariff tantrum.
- 6:59And I now have the TIC data, which confirms that Mark Carney ran an operation with U.S. Treasuries.
- 7:06yeah because you were you were it was i think the day or two before they were releasing that data
- 7:12when we last spoke yeah and you were you had a hunch that there was going to be something in that
- 7:16well it was it was the the the the tic data uh it was always two months in arrears so what i said
- 7:22back then was that you know this is what i think is going on but we won't get confirmation until
- 7:26june because the april data won't come out until june and the tic report comes out around the 15th
- 7:31of every month whether there's you know whether it's on the weekends or the holiday or something
- 7:34along those lines.
- 7:35So here we are.
- 7:36It's June 20th.
- 7:38Right.
- 7:38And when the TIC data was out,
- 7:40and as I was working on that article,
- 7:42I was saying to myself,
- 7:44I think I smell capital starting to flow back in the U.S.
- 7:48The DAX is rolling over.
- 7:50The Euro Stocks 50 is now starting to underperform the Dow.
- 7:53The euro is topping out.
- 7:55The pound is topping out.
- 7:57You know, okay, so this whole weak dollar trade,
- 8:00we're starting to see the long end of the yield curve
- 8:01creep back down away from 5%.
- 8:03Now we're down into the 485 range on the 30-year.
- 8:09Like, that's telling me that there's something happening here.
- 8:13And the Dow is up and then it's holding steady.
- 8:15And we can move back up into the 42s and it's kind of holding steady.
- 8:18Yeah, it's been volatile this week with Israel and Iran and, you know, people going to cash.
- 8:22And that's perfectly reasonable.
- 8:23But the other thing I've noted is that the short-term T-bill market is gone.
- 8:31It's starting to seize up.
- 8:33and this was happening before Powell declined to cut rates,
- 8:39which guess what?
- 8:40No one was surprised about,
- 8:42but the SMB, the Swiss National Bank,
- 8:45went back to the zero bound.
- 8:47The Riksbank in Sweden dropped another quarter point.
- 8:52The ECB cut again,
- 8:54and while Trump could be out there
- 8:55thinking like a New York State real estate developer,
- 8:58going, I need lower rates
- 8:59in order to do all these big projects
- 9:02that I've got coming.
- 9:04That's his bag, and I understand that's his point of view.
- 9:07You've got his Treasury Secretary, Bessent,
- 9:10clearly running an operation on draining the LBMA of all their gold.
- 9:17And Powell sitting there going, look, I've got these people on the ropes
- 9:20because now I saw the Hong Kong dollar.
- 9:24I'll go look at the Hong Kong dollar.
- 9:25It's pegged at the top of the range.
- 9:27It's been there for 10 days.
- 9:28I haven't seen the Hong Kong dollar pegged at the top
- 9:32at either the bottom or the top of its very tight peg
- 9:34in years.
- 9:37And this was three years ago.
- 9:38I think it was the last time I saw something like this happen.
- 9:41And I'm like, but this is big now
- 9:43because it's not only happening there,
- 9:45it's happening in the T-bill market.
- 9:47We're seeing the one-month market across all of Europe.
- 9:53I just like the quick scan the other day
- 9:55or yesterday or end today.
- 9:58The yield curve's across Europe, and there's seizure happening in the one-month market over there.
- 10:05They're selling off.
- 10:07The reason, so we have a weird thing is setting up in the T-bill market right now, the one to three months.
- 10:13You've got the one month is down below the Fed funds, the bottom of the Fed funds range.
- 10:17But you've got the two-month at 4.5%, 4.55.
- 10:23You've got the three-month is up as well.
- 10:25So you've got a weird moment where you've got your 418, 456, 435 or something like that.
- 10:31So there's this big inversion or big spike on the two-month.
- 10:38Why are people doing that?
- 10:40I tweeted out this morning.
- 10:42What's going on in the 60-day T-bell market?
- 10:44But it started happening last week because I chart it all the time.
- 10:48Every market report, I update my chart on Wednesdays and Sundays every week.
- 10:55It's just part of my routine.
- 10:56So I'm constantly looking at these credit spreads within the U.S. treasury market all the time.
- 11:01And they were flat and boring.
- 11:03And I've been like, yeah, there's no stress in the markets.
- 11:07Sofa's not moving.
- 11:08Nothing's going on here.
- 11:09It's kind of boring, actually.
- 11:11And now it's starting to crack.
- 11:13If there's a big rush in the dollars, you have people who are sitting overseas in T-bills,
- 11:19and they're selling the crap out of them because they need dollars.
- 11:21And that's happening in the two-month and the three-month market.
- 11:23And then the one-month market, I suspect, I called Vince Honchi up this afternoon, like, Vince, this is what I'm seeing.
- 11:31And I said, this is what I think is going on.
- 11:33He's like, absolutely.
- 11:34The one-month market, people are needing repos and collateral.
- 11:39So they're buying one-month, 30-day T-bills in order to be able to have the collateral do 7- and 14-day repos.
- 11:46So you're getting this jumble in the market all at the same time.
- 11:49and like and then the hong kong dollar is pegged and that's getting drained and the hong kong
- 11:58monetary authority is having to defend the peg by dumping treasuries to hold the peg because people
- 12:03are looking for dollars so powell has been very effective in upsetting the offshore dollar markets
- 12:12exactly as i've been talking about for years and we might be at that inflection point where
- 12:17something's about the crack.
- 12:19I don't know what.
- 12:20It could be the Hong Kong dollar peg.
- 12:22Been waiting for it forever and a day.
- 12:24And with the amount of dollars flowing through to get back to China
- 12:30because of the tariffs, and right now all of a sudden,
- 12:35yeah, dollars are kind of scarce in Hong Kong.
- 12:38And I think those dollars that are being demanded in Hong Kong
- 12:41are going back to London.
- 12:43Because if you want to look at it this way,
- 12:45the city of London in London,
- 12:47their city of East London in Singapore,
- 12:49and their city of Far East London in Hong Kong.
- 12:51That's kind of the way I'm looking at it now, right?
- 12:54I coined those phrases like this afternoon
- 12:56when I was writing this section of the newsletter.
- 12:58I'm like, that makes perfect sense.
- 13:03So this is all happening against the backdrop of Israel-Iran,
- 13:09and Trump is, you know, I think he's playing...
- 13:12I have a long argument about what I think is going on with Israel, Ron.
- 13:19And it comes down to, it's going to make me sad.
- 13:22And I'm getting roasted on Twitter for this.
- 13:24I'm getting roasted everywhere.
- 13:25I'm getting roasted because of the comments, because of the video I did with Alex yesterday,
- 13:31where at times we got a little heated with each other.
- 13:34and
- 13:35and of course
- 13:38I'm making the argument
- 13:41that
- 13:42Israel could have been betrayed by the city of London
- 13:46over the JCPOA
- 13:50and over Iran
- 13:51enrichment in the nuclear weapon
- 13:53let's
- 13:54it's complicated but it really comes
- 13:58down to what if the fucking
- 13:59British as always are on both
- 14:01sides of the conflict
- 14:02hey let's you and he fight and what would get israel angry and what would what would iran
- 14:10why would iran get angry and over the course of the last 40 years the iranians have rightly
- 14:15pursued an axis of resistance against u.s uk israeli aggression towards them that israel is
- 14:25their land-based aircraft carrier in the middle of the british aircraft carrier in the middle east
- 14:30We have a whole bunch of American politicians who were bought and paid for by all this euro dollar fuckery, for all lack of a better term.
- 14:39And the whole LIBOR system bought all these politicians.
- 14:44We have all these dual citizenship, disloyal people in Congress and the Senate.
- 14:54Well, they're all aging out, dude.
- 14:57Davos has got to use that asset.
- 14:59this Israeli asset that they have, they've got to use this.
- 15:04I am using the terms Davos and City of London interchangeably now, just so you know.
- 15:10I'm thinking to myself, strategically,
- 15:12I'm thinking like the guy at the dune table or whatever.
- 15:16How do I get the two of them to fight and beat the hell out of each other so that I can swoop in and win the game Well this is how you do it In this case it actually a three It actually three
- 15:27You're trying to set three players against each other, Israel, Iran, and the United States.
- 15:31You're trying to get all of them to do exactly what you want them to do.
- 15:34And then there's Russia as well.
- 15:37And when you put it all together, the solve is the Iranian nuclear program is the forever war.
- 15:44that's the impetus that's the impetus of the forever war right two weeks away for the last
- 15:5030 years right well yes exactly and netanyahu when he was a good loyal you know stooge for
- 15:59the zionists kept using that as a talking point in order to get what he wanted for israel right
- 16:06Iran
- 16:09in the face of this
- 16:11rightly
- 16:13forms this
- 16:16axis of resistance strategy
- 16:17starts to pursue
- 16:20nuclear weapons because of what we were
- 16:22doing in Iraq during the Iraq war
- 16:24and all this other stuff
- 16:25I don't blame them for doing that
- 16:27I never have but I still don't think they should have
- 16:30a nuclear weapon
- 16:30I don't think the North Koreans should have a nuclear
- 16:34weapon I don't think the Israelis should have a nuclear weapon
- 16:36I don't think anybody should have nuclear weapons, if you want my honest opinion.
- 16:39But here we are.
- 16:40This is the world I've got, not the world I want.
- 16:43So now let's put – yeah.
- 16:44So you're with me?
- 16:46I was just going to say that's like the frustrating thing is like if you're anti this conflict and any U.S. involvement, it's like you're pro-Is Iran having nukes.
- 16:55And it's like no.
- 16:56Right.
- 16:56And that's a false dyad.
- 16:59and another false
- 17:02die-out for you is
- 17:03after World War II, Israel was the
- 17:05Jews were the perfect victim
- 17:07and post 10-7
- 17:09they're the perfect villain
- 17:10and I'm not a big
- 17:14fan, you know how big a fan I am of the
- 17:16classic
- 17:16triangle of hero, victim,
- 17:20villain to explain all narratives
- 17:21because this is what you do and this is how
- 17:24stories are constructed, this is how
- 17:26narratives are constructed
- 17:27It's, you know, depending on which perspective you want to look at, you want to view the conflict will determine who's the victim, who's the villain, and who's the hero.
- 17:37So now let's play this game out.
- 17:43Up until 2015, or really up until 2010, 2009, 2008, 2010, Iran is pursuing this policy.
- 17:55Obama, apparently, if you go back and you really, and I've had my memory on all this refreshed.
- 18:04There was a good article by Jack Cashel on his sub-stack the other day, just kind of going through all this.
- 18:09Not his commentary through it, but just all the timeline of events.
- 18:14Now, I've always said that Obama negotiated the JCPOA on behalf of Davos because Davos wanted, in Europe,
- 18:21wanted access to Iran's oil and gas.
- 18:24They wanted to use that as the new market
- 18:26and they wanted to invest billions and billions of dollars into Iran.
- 18:31And that was the carrot that Obama used
- 18:35in order to get the JCPOA.
- 18:38But the JCPOA was designed,
- 18:40and this is where Netanyahu,
- 18:42as a serial liar and a scumbag and everything else,
- 18:46this is where it works against him.
- 18:48Because he wasn't wrong that the JCPOA
- 18:51wasn't really stopping Iran from enriching uranium
- 18:55for weapons-grade purposes.
- 18:58Iran could play this bullshit game
- 19:00of lying through their teeth that they weren't,
- 19:02it was all for medical isotopes,
- 19:04it was all for this.
- 19:05Well, medical isotopes, you only need 20%.
- 19:07Why the fuck do you have 60%?
- 19:10Okay?
- 19:11You only have 60% uranium
- 19:15because you want a nuclear bomb.
- 19:17So it's all bullshit.
- 19:18like Iran's position on this is untenable because they're lying had they been saying look we don't
- 19:26we're not pursuing a nuclear weapon the fatwa against nuclear weapons that the that that the
- 19:30Ayatollah has um that the Ayatollah issued is real and maybe just maybe he believes that and
- 19:37there's another faction within Iran say the IRGC or some other hardliner faction within Iran that
- 19:43is like no no we're going to do this because this is the only way we're going to keep the Israelis
- 19:48and the Americans and the British off our asses.
- 19:51But what happens here if you're looking at this going,
- 19:57okay, so Obama comes in and negotiates to JCPOA.
- 20:02By the way, you remember he kicked Iran out of the SWIFT system
- 20:05the first time in December 2011.
- 20:08So he used that as a means by which to get Iran to the frigging table
- 20:12to negotiate this deal.
- 20:13So the Iranians weren't crazy about this deal either.
- 20:15So no one was happy with it.
- 20:17But maybe this speaks to where I was a couple of days ago.
- 20:21Maybe I was wrong about that.
- 20:22Maybe Alex Cranor is right that Iran never really, quote unquote, made a deal with Davos.
- 20:32But it's hard to see how the Ayatollah and everybody have reacted since then.
- 20:37Because since the war started, all the statements and all the little bits and pieces that have come out all point to Iran's working with Davos to fuck the United States.
- 20:46and fuck Israel because they really do mean
- 20:49death to America and death to Israel.
- 20:53It's not just
- 20:54rhetoric to get everybody to the table.
- 20:57Maybe. Again,
- 20:58we have fungible information
- 21:00here. I am presenting all of this stuff
- 21:03to try and put together the best
- 21:04thesis I can, but I don't think this thesis
- 21:07is complete.
- 21:08If we don't look at all these
- 21:10things carefully,
- 21:13we can't come...
- 21:15All we're going to do then is blindly accept whatever propaganda best fits our model of the world.
- 21:20And in that case, everybody, all the Jewsburgs out there are like, you know, it's all the Jews.
- 21:26They run America.
- 21:27They're all powerful, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 21:28And, you know, Iran is the good guy, which I don't believe.
- 21:35Or you have the other side of it, which is you have the neocons, which are saying Israel is trying to save the world from the crazy Iranians, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 21:43But what they really want is to take over Iran, install a Rothschild central bank, break up bricks, break up the international north-south transport corridor that the Russians want, and start the colonization of Central Asia, which is what they want.
- 21:55And we know that's bullshit, too.
- 21:57So we're all predisposed towards hating the neocons because we've lived with them and they're perfidy for 50 freaking years and we can see right through them.
- 22:05But on the other side of that gambit is whether or not Iran is actually working with Europe to get what they want.
- 22:16And if they believe that the best way to destroy Israel and the United States is to keep the chaos of their nuclear weapons program and string everybody along and fake negotiate over not getting a nuclear weapon,
- 22:30then that tracks with what we've seen so now let's think about this now let's look at some
- 22:41of the data that's to suggest that iran hasn't been doing exactly that so we've all seen how
- 22:46crown prince palavi is now the guy who they want to install in iran right the ayatollah came out
- 22:54and Khomeini came out and said,
- 22:57we support Zelensky and their fight for Ukraine.
- 23:02When Khomeini is supposed to be tied with the Russians,
- 23:05but he didn't make that statement
- 23:06until after the Russians refused to help them against Israel.
- 23:11Because the Russians have stood down and said,
- 23:13get back to the negotiating table.
- 23:17And by the way, the Russians had put a stronger defense,
- 23:21neutral defense agreement on the table to the Iranians
- 23:24two months, two, three months ago when they signed that agreement, they put a stronger
- 23:28one on the table and the Iranians rejected it because they didn't want to be tied to Russia.
- 23:34So they were playing everybody. So again, how many and the IRGC are playing this game?
- 23:40Just like they always do. So again, I have no problem with the Iranian, like, I hate to say it,
- 23:51I sound like Benjamin Netanyahu last week.
- 23:53I have no problem with the Iranian people.
- 23:55I just don't want to see these freaking crazy mullahs have a nuclear weapon to blackmail the world with.
- 24:00Because them having a nuclear weapon furthers Davos' ability to blackmail all of us with nuclear holocaust.
- 24:06Because you know damn well that the Israelis are never going to stand down if these people have a nuclear weapon.
- 24:11Which is what I mean when I say the Iranians pursuing a nuclear weapon is the forever war.
- 24:17It's the way to keep this thing going forever.
- 24:19and I think this is what happened you have one of two scenarios I just laid out the I just laid
- 24:28out the evil mustache twirling version of Iran and how many there's the other side of it which is
- 24:34that they realize that their their game has reached an end Hezbollah has been basically beaten the
- 24:41Houthis are pretty much done certainly since Iran can't even run out of halfway decent events against
- 24:46what Israel's doing.
- 24:47They're a freeing F-16s flying over Tehran.
- 24:50They're running cap over Tehran, for Christ's sake.
- 24:55The Russians stood down.
- 24:57The Saudis and all the Gulf states aided Israel's defense openly,
- 25:03shooting interceptors to shoot down Iranian missiles coming in.
- 25:08After three years of the Saudis and the Iranians doing negotiations
- 25:13to normalize relations.
- 25:14right
- 25:16Erdogan and his pets
- 25:19his pets in Syria
- 25:21allowed them to use Syrian airspace
- 25:22to fly into Iran
- 25:23Trump came out and said
- 25:27I've always known the date
- 25:29of when this attack was going to happen
- 25:30you know why?
- 25:34because it was timed with
- 25:35the LA riots
- 25:37the fight over the big beautiful bill
- 25:40the this
- 25:41all these other things that Davos had set up
- 25:43on their freaking Gantt chart
- 25:44to turn into this week's crazy.
- 25:47So what did Trump do?
- 25:48Two months ago, he said, Iran, you've got 60 days to negotiate a deal.
- 25:52On day 61, he let Bibi attack.
- 25:54He didn't attack.
- 25:56He just let Bibi attack.
- 25:57Do what he always wanted to do.
- 25:59But here's another.
- 26:00So that's part number one.
- 26:03So now, is Netanyahu still working for City of London?
- 26:07And then they're trying to sneak in, meet the new boss,
- 26:10same as the old boss in Tehran?
- 26:12it's a perfectly valid argument
- 26:15but here's the one that's even
- 26:17more interesting
- 26:18and the one I think might actually be the case
- 26:21ready
- 26:22the JCPOA was a fundamental
- 26:25betrayal of Israel by
- 26:26City of London
- 26:28like a fundamental betrayal
- 26:31you knew it was the one thing
- 26:33that would set in motion
- 26:35eventually when he gets
- 26:37when he's got a
- 26:39group of people in
- 26:40power
- 26:44that eventually
- 26:49actually let me back it up a second
- 26:52what did I say about Hamas after 10-7
- 26:56they were a rapidly depreciating asset that somebody had to use
- 26:59or lose
- 27:00Iran getting a nuclear weapon they have so much
- 27:0560% of rich uranium now they can't play this game anymore
- 27:09the IAEA has been covering for Iran since the JCPOA and then they finally put out a report
- 27:17which like lays out even if it's even if it's half bullshit it's still an overwhelming amount
- 27:23of 60 percent enriched uranium now for a lot of people in the audience who may not know this
- 27:30going from 60 to 90 percent is easy getting from zero getting from three percent to 60
- 27:35percent is the hard part actually getting to three percent is really hard what i'm saying is that
- 27:40that nuclear fuel is easier to purify as you go as you go on as you go up the purity curve which is
- 27:48completely ass backwards from everything else we know in chemistry right i've used this you know
- 27:53if you were to sit down and talk with dave column if dave column and i were both here we'd be talking
- 27:57about organic synthesis and since dave's you know the chairman is the chair of organic chemistry at
- 28:03fucking cornell and i would make this argument to him he would be he would be nodding his head
- 28:08going yes getting doing an organic synthesis reaction getting low yield is easy you take the
- 28:14stuff you write a reaction or equation you put the stuff in the in a in a in a round bottom flask
- 28:21you turn on the bunsen burner you do the thing you get you get some yield and you can make a dirty
- 28:25you get a dirty product right you want to optimize that and get from like 50 or 60 percent yield to
- 28:3190% yield, that requires the chemical engineers to really fine-tune the temperature control and
- 28:37the pressure control and when you add new reagents and how you bring them in and how you go from
- 28:42gross chemistry to a finely-tuned chemical engineering process that gets you the best
- 28:51bang for your buck, the highest purity stuff for the least amount of money.
- 28:54that's the way it normally works in your head and most engineers would think oh getting from 60 to
- 29:0390 is the hard part because the pareto takes over right no it's actually easier to go from 60 uf6
- 29:09to 90 uf6 meaning you could netanyahu wasn't lying for once yeah they're two weeks away with
- 29:15nuclear weapon why because they have a stockpile of 60 uranium that they can turn into 90 in a week
- 29:22if they've got the casing and they've got the mechanism
- 29:24and they've got the trigger, building a nuclear bomb
- 29:26ain't that fucking hard. It's the fuel
- 29:28that's the hard part.
- 29:30So, now,
- 29:33I know we're getting a little lost here, but
- 29:34there's a lot to cover. Now,
- 29:37imagine...
- 29:38I've been following along.
- 29:40What's that? And you may say, I don't want to
- 29:42spoil what could be the ending, but
- 29:44as you're saying this, I'm thinking too,
- 29:46and I'm not going to pretend to be some
- 29:48expert on Israeli
- 29:50politics and
- 29:51the pulse of the social layer of Israel.
- 29:57But it does seem like from what I'm hearing domestically,
- 30:00like Netanyahu, BB is like on the ropes.
- 30:03And so like if you're looking for like,
- 30:05get this out of him and then replace him.
- 30:08Wait, let's back that up
- 30:11because I have good data from my friend Halsey English
- 30:14who's both Israeli and a former journalist over there
- 30:17and lives in New Jersey
- 30:17and is not Netanyahu's biggest fan.
- 30:20And he and I had a long conversation on Tuesday afternoon before we did the space on Tuesday night with a four
- 30:26I invited him in along with P. Canones and Dexter White and we we did a we did a long thing and and
- 30:33And I'm not saying I'm not saying to take everything that Halsey said as gospel
- 30:36But it closer to the truth in reality than what you being what you hearing in the propaganda because I known this and I known Halsey a very very long time And we used to do live streams together back in 2017 2018
- 30:49Like, this is not, this is a guy, and this is a guy who, by the way, has been persecuted by the IRS.
- 30:56FYI.
- 30:57So, now, just putting that out there, folks.
- 31:01So, Netanyahu, so if you look at the ACPOA,
- 31:08as like the first stage of how they're going to betray Israel.
- 31:15After 100 years of backing them and creating them to be this force of chaos in the Middle East
- 31:21and to split the Arab world and do all this rotten nonsense, right,
- 31:26in order to colonize, you know, and run their MacKinder playbook and all that crap.
- 31:32But at some point, Israel becomes a rapidly depreciating asset
- 31:36because Israel can only be maintained so long as you've got an America willing to back it.
- 31:43Right. So John McCain's dead.
- 31:45Lindsey Graham is aging out.
- 31:46He's going to probably get primary.
- 31:47Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 31:49Hillary Clinton's gone.
- 31:50Obama's out of the picture.
- 31:52You know, Rumsfeld's dead.
- 31:53Wolfowitz is out of the picture.
- 31:55Dick Cheney's out of the picture.
- 31:56Liz Cheney's out of the picture.
- 31:57Like, I can keep going.
- 31:58All these neocons are pretty much gone.
- 32:00There's only a few of them left.
- 32:01But they're still powerful.
- 32:02They still have powerful positions in the Senate and the House.
- 32:05So they're there, and AIPAC is spending more money now trying to hold on to whatever control they have left.
- 32:13That's why Miriam Adelson's out there spending $100 million on Trump's campaign to try and get access, keep access.
- 32:19So now, the last roadblock is on the ground.
- 32:23Now, it starts there.
- 32:25What I've been positing over the last few 72 hours or so is what if Netanyahu and the Israelis finally realized, yeah, we're no longer useful to that.
- 32:47What would be the inciting incident where they would break completely with the old city of London agenda?
- 32:5510-7.
- 32:59And 10-7
- 33:00is, was, and will always be
- 33:04an MI6 operation.
- 33:07When 10-7 happened,
- 33:10wait, just wait for a second.
- 33:11Let me finish this one out.
- 33:13And again, in my conversation with Alex Cranor,
- 33:15I did with Crypto Rich yesterday,
- 33:17Alex supported my argument on this
- 33:19by going through chapter and verse
- 33:20how MI6 was probably involved.
- 33:25with the Qataris and parts of Hamas.
- 33:30Okay.
- 33:3210-7 was a British and Qatari-based false flag.
- 33:38What's the one thing that you can do
- 33:41to get all of Israel
- 33:44that is kind of split on this whole thing
- 33:47and get them riled up
- 33:49and all marching in one lockstep
- 33:52to wipe out the Palestinians?
- 33:55kill 1,800 people in the most brutal way imaginable?
- 33:59So let me ask you a question.
- 34:01What happened to the United States after 9-11?
- 34:03Were you old enough to know?
- 34:04Because I am.
- 34:08I was thrown out of gun shops in North Florida
- 34:14starting on 9-12.
- 34:19The entirety of the United States
- 34:22was all in on the kill all the Muslims,
- 34:29start the global war on air.
- 34:31There was no anti-war movement in 2002.
- 34:36Justin Raimondo wrote article after article
- 34:39on antiwar.com for three years,
- 34:43every Monday, every Wednesday, and every Friday.
- 34:45He destroyed himself writing about this,
- 34:48and he was right.
- 34:49and he saw it all the way out.
- 34:53We didn't have an anti-war movement in the United States.
- 34:56The libertarians and the greens needed to come together.
- 34:58He exhorted us, come together, form a real anti-war corps,
- 35:01get rid of all the other stuff.
- 35:02We need to do this because this is bullshit.
- 35:05What's happening?
- 35:06And they were right.
- 35:08What happened?
- 35:09We were the minority and we were in the weeds.
- 35:11We were in the wilderness until Ron Paul emerged on 2008
- 35:15and took down Rudy Giuliani.
- 35:16took six years worth of what we had what happened in iraq and everything else or seven years
- 35:22practically in order for that to finally start percolating through the zeitgeist in america
- 35:26and it really didn't reach its full flower until trump won in 2016 took 15 years
- 35:33so for anybody to use the idea that the israeli people are evil because 85 percent of them believe
- 35:42and wiping out the Palestinians after all these years,
- 35:46it's not fair.
- 35:49Because we've all, and I said this to Alex yesterday,
- 35:53I didn't say it calmly, we were yelling at each other.
- 35:56I said, Alex, you lived through the Yugoslavian Civil War.
- 35:58You know how they set everybody against each other with this kind of stuff.
- 36:02You know how they do this.
- 36:03I lived through it in 9-11, and the Israelis have lived through it here.
- 36:07It was a betrayal, 10-7.
- 36:10and at that point if I'm Benjamin Netanyahu
- 36:13I go to everybody
- 36:15I go to everybody in
- 36:16the Knesset and everybody's like yeah you know what
- 36:19he's the only guy for the job to get this done
- 36:21because he's the only one with the balls
- 36:23he's the only one with the
- 36:24the stones he's the only one with enough
- 36:27support and everybody hates Bibi
- 36:29in Israel he's pissed everybody
- 36:31off he has no political friends
- 36:33he has no successor
- 36:35he has nothing
- 36:36because he's such a fucking
- 36:38horrible political animal. He has betrayed
- 36:41literally everyone inside
- 36:43Israel. Everyone.
- 36:46He's betrayed his
- 36:47American benefactors. He's
- 36:49betrayed everybody.
- 36:52And so
- 36:53when you see Netanyahu from that
- 36:55perspective, which is what my friend Halsey
- 36:57did for me the other day, I'm like,
- 36:59oh yeah, it makes perfect sense. Everybody's like, yeah,
- 37:01dude, you want to do this? You can be the guy to go do this.
- 37:03You go to attack Iran.
- 37:06We wipe our hands of you.
- 37:07including Trump.
- 37:11Now, what if this was always the plan?
- 37:15At some point, Israel was going to be used
- 37:18as it was going to be turned into the perfect villain
- 37:21so that they can be the scapegoat for destroying Iran.
- 37:27And the goal is for Davos to turn that into a massive PSYOP
- 37:32as a means by which to destroy Trump.
- 37:34Go back to our conversations during the campaign.
- 37:38What did I tell you after 10-7?
- 37:42The Democrats are going to run on a pro-Palestinian platform
- 37:45in order to hang Trump with his pro-Israeli position.
- 37:49They didn't do it.
- 37:50They saved it.
- 37:52And they saved it for this week.
- 37:55Here we are.
- 37:57And they're trying to conflate.
- 37:58And you note the five seconds after Trump, after Netanyahu's,
- 38:03The reports came in that Netanyahu was bombing out of Tehran.
- 38:07Everybody tried to blame Trump for it.
- 38:10The propaganda was off the charts.
- 38:11In the same way that on 10-7, before the bodies were culled on 10-7,
- 38:20the pro-Palestinian propaganda was out in force,
- 38:23and all of the anti-Semites that had been deplatformed and went into hiding seven years ago, eight years ago,
- 38:30they were all activated on Twitter.
- 38:32they were all active again
- 38:34every bit of them
- 38:35it was all over 4chan
- 38:36it was all
- 38:37they were everywhere
- 38:38Dexter White and I
- 38:39have been talking about this
- 38:40for a year and a half
- 38:40because he monitors that shit
- 38:42directly
- 38:42and he's like
- 38:44dude I'm seeing
- 38:4620, 30 accounts
- 38:47that I haven't seen
- 38:47they haven't been active
- 38:48for 7 years
- 38:49and all of a sudden
- 38:52they're out tweeting again
- 38:53they play dormant
- 38:55waiting
- 38:56big push
- 38:58so
- 38:59the goal was
- 39:01turn the Jews
- 39:02into the perfect villain by allowing everybody to finally say,
- 39:05oh my God, these evil Jews and how they've destroyed America
- 39:08and everything else, into the zeitgeist of an American public
- 39:12that is clearly tired of fighting forever wars
- 39:17for Israel or India or anybody.
- 39:19We don't want to fight anybody's war anymore.
- 39:24Yeah.
- 39:24And now the IC is trying to get rid of Pelosi Gabbard
- 39:31at the same time.
- 39:34I mean, it's all happening
- 39:36and it's all coming from the same goddamn place.
- 39:39And if Iran played along with any of that
- 39:42and the service of those fucking vampires
- 39:46at Davos and Evil Corp Central,
- 39:49fuck them.
- 39:51The mullahs deserve to get wiped out.
- 39:53I have no...
- 39:55I'm sorry.
- 39:56I don't give a fuck.
- 39:58Fuck you.
- 39:59No.
- 39:59Die.
- 40:00And I don't care if Netanyahu's the one.
- 40:02As a matter of fact, I prefer Netanyahu to do it because they get wiped out.
- 40:06The Israelis have already torched their friggin' standing in the world.
- 40:12So now it all backfires on them.
- 40:15It becomes a Pyrrhic victory.
- 40:18And I get my preferred outcome, Marty.
- 40:22Ready?
- 40:23A tie and a lot of injuries.
- 40:24I'm dead serious
- 40:30I'm sitting here
- 40:32I'm sitting here
- 40:32Digesting this
- 40:33Because I heard
- 40:33Completely different theory
- 40:35Last night
- 40:38Watching
- 40:39Or listening to
- 40:40The No Agenda podcast
- 40:41I think Adam and
- 40:42Dvorak
- 40:43Did a good job
- 40:43Dissecting it
- 40:46And their
- 40:46Conclusion was like
- 40:49Very different
- 40:51But like sort of similar
- 40:53outcome, which was about China.
- 40:57Essentially,
- 40:58if you looked at what's happening in Syria,
- 41:04you can go back to Libya,
- 41:06what's happening in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq.
- 41:09Basically, they were bringing back
- 41:12the video of that general.
- 41:16Wesley Clark.
- 41:18Yeah, many years ago.
- 41:20He was like, here's the plan.
- 41:21We're going to go through Iraq, Afghanistan.
- 41:23Libya, Syria,
- 41:25eventually getting to Iran.
- 41:26Iran is the final boss, yes.
- 41:28Yeah.
- 41:29And their thesis was essentially like,
- 41:32it's gotten to the point for Trump,
- 41:34like he gave the 60-day,
- 41:36basically, ultimatum,
- 41:38and their thesis was like,
- 41:39during that 60 days,
- 41:40Trump was going to them,
- 41:41basically saying,
- 41:42don't do business with China,
- 41:43don't fall prey to the Belt and Road,
- 41:46sort of trapped,
- 41:47they're trying to set free,
- 41:48like do business with us.
- 41:50Day 61 hits,
- 41:52and Trump goes,
- 41:53Bibi, do what you want to do.
- 41:55And I guess their perspective is like,
- 41:59just throw Bibi out there to do it
- 42:00and leave Israel out the hang.
- 42:03So it wasn't like Davos-centric,
- 42:04but like U.S.-centric.
- 42:08Just trying to digest all of it
- 42:09because that's the thing that I've learned
- 42:11eight years into trying to dissect all this.
- 42:14It's like fog of war, Israel.
- 42:17And so trying to basically come out
- 42:20with a declarative explanation of exactly what's happening is just stupid.
- 42:25So this is a really interesting thesis that is counteracting in my mind
- 42:30with the one I heard last night, which is pretty convincing as well.
- 42:33Yeah, yeah, no, I mean, look, I get the whole China axis as well.
- 42:39That's why I think that it makes sense that you can reframe this,
- 42:43that Iran is playing everybody against each other
- 42:47to get the maximum benefit and maximum revenge
- 42:52on all of the people who have come over over the years
- 42:55by keeping themselves in this position,
- 42:59kind of like Erdogan in Turkey.
- 43:01That's how Erdogan plays nice with the...
- 43:04This literally popped into my head,
- 43:06so this is not a fully formed thing.
- 43:08But what have we said about Erdogan all these years, right?
- 43:11he plays the Russians off of
- 43:13he plays nice with the Russians for a while
- 43:15then he plays nice with the Israelis for a while
- 43:16then he hates the Israelis and then he threatens
- 43:19Greece and then he sucks up to the Americans
- 43:21and then he tries to get money out of the Europeans
- 43:23and all of this stuff but in order to
- 43:25carve and effect an independent path
- 43:27and I used to describe this
- 43:29as a seven player game of Go
- 43:30and you know
- 43:32it's not black and white stones
- 43:35but there's some purple stones and yellow stones and this one
- 43:37but Turkey
- 43:39they have a special power and their special powers
- 43:41they can pick up a black or a white stone
- 43:43whatever they want and put whichever one on the table they want
- 43:45right so they can you know
- 43:47play that game and you know
- 43:48and don't hate the play
- 43:51hate the game you know what I mean
- 43:52or respect the play and not you know
- 43:55in the game because that's and he plays
- 43:57it well right
- 43:58and if Iran was doing that
- 44:03and if the Mullahs have been doing that because they think that's their
- 44:05only chance of survival fine
- 44:07but at the end of the day
- 44:09Again, a nuclear weapons strategy where they have enough 60% uranium, even if the IAEA report is overstating it in order to make the overwhelming case as to why this was okay for the Israelis to do this now.
- 44:24It's still, you know, it's still, the numbers are just insane.
- 44:27And it's enough to make, you know, freaking 20 bombs.
- 44:30I'm like, 50 bombs.
- 44:31I'm like, no.
- 44:32Like, no.
- 44:32It's not acceptable.
- 44:34We cannot have these.
- 44:35It's like I don't want Kim Jong-un to have a nuclear bomb either.
- 44:39That's why I wanted Trump to go over there and do what needed to be done,
- 44:44which was to open up relations with them, and then John Bolton destroyed everything.
- 44:48John Bolton threw everybody under the bus in Hanoi, right?
- 44:54It is.
- 44:56I want Trump and Iran to succeed.
- 45:01and everybody keeps saying, well, why can't Iran agree to civilian enrichment
- 45:06and Israel give up their nuclear weapons?
- 45:09I'm like, that's the solve.
- 45:11I'm like, I agree.
- 45:12How do you get the Israelis to that point after all this time
- 45:15where they've lived under this particular threat with these particular people
- 45:18at this moment in time?
- 45:20That's going to be a hard sell to the Israelis,
- 45:23and it's also going to be an incredibly hard sell to Netanyahu.
- 45:27so while I can make the argument
- 45:29so then the question is as follows
- 45:32the negotiations
- 45:33real or kayfabe
- 45:35this is the case
- 45:38and this is where I get really angry
- 45:40because I can tell you that 75%
- 45:42of the people who are dragging me through the mud
- 45:45on Twitter and other places
- 45:46are saying the same thing
- 45:48Trump lied about the negotiations
- 45:50he was negotiating in bad faith
- 45:51he was just buying time for Israel
- 45:54Israel could have pulled this fucking thing off
- 45:56whatever the hell they want to,
- 45:58the plans for this attack have been on the table for three years They have the drone factories they have the Mossad guys with the rocket launchers or whatever they used to knock out all the anti systems
- 46:10Like, Iran was defenseless
- 46:13when the planes showed up.
- 46:16That's the only thing.
- 46:17I mean, if you strip out the players
- 46:20and you just look at it as,
- 46:22you know, a military operation,
- 46:23a combined arms,
- 46:25military, a combined theater,
- 46:27Sorry, multimodal
- 46:29That's the word I'm looking for
- 46:31Military and operation, you're like
- 46:32Wow
- 46:35It might be one of the greatest
- 46:38Things ever pulled off
- 46:40It's like that freaking Pager incident
- 46:41Where they wiped out most of Hezbollah
- 46:43With fucking cell phones
- 46:45And anybody who doesn't want to believe that these things happened
- 46:48Hezbollah stood down
- 46:50On Thursday
- 46:53Iran put the call out to the axis of resistance
- 46:56and the actions of resistance didn't show up.
- 47:03Yeah.
- 47:04I mean, you bring up the beepers too,
- 47:06and I think that was when BB came to the White House
- 47:09and gave Trump a golden beeper.
- 47:10That's why I think stuff like that feeds into the narrative
- 47:14that Israel's controlling the U.S.
- 47:16I know it feeds into that.
- 47:18What the hell was that?
- 47:18But the reality is the following, okay?
- 47:22Netanyahu.
- 47:25I mean, Trump is pissed at Netanyahu.
- 47:26for what he did over, for being the first one to run right up
- 47:30and congratulate Joe Biden for winning.
- 47:32Yeah.
- 47:33While Trump was still fighting for it, and that's a big tell
- 47:37that Netanyahu was always working for Davos or a city of London.
- 47:42Big tell.
- 47:44But then, you know, here's another way of looking at this.
- 47:47In the mob, and these people are all mob bosses,
- 47:51what's the one thing that's not tolerated?
- 47:55betrayal
- 47:56you can run your little fiefdom
- 48:00as brutally as you want
- 48:02don't betray the family
- 48:03this is your lane
- 48:05this is your area, stay in your area
- 48:07yeah and that was Adam and John's
- 48:10sort of thesis last night
- 48:11Trump is finally like I just want to be done with this
- 48:13throw BB to the wolves
- 48:15or even better
- 48:18Putin's a mob boss
- 48:19Netanyahu's a mob boss
- 48:21Trump's a mob boss
- 48:22the Iranians are a mob boss
- 48:25and who never ever
- 48:28ever ever ever ever
- 48:30honors their
- 48:31agreements
- 48:32the British
- 48:35Iran no the British
- 48:37the British they always
- 48:40do this or Davos they always
- 48:42do this
- 48:42with this hell
- 48:45what set up the Bolshevik revolution
- 48:48was their betrayal
- 48:49of the Turks at Gallipoli
- 48:51and they left the Australians to die
- 48:55Richard Poe's got an unbelievably well-researched article
- 49:02on this and you look at it and you go and the downstream effects of that
- 49:06is that it's so weak and bizarre that it set up the Bolshevik revolution two years
- 49:10I'm like
- 49:14this is the way these people think. They don't act like men
- 49:19they fight like I hate to say it
- 49:22they fight like fucking women
- 49:23they stab you in the back
- 49:25with Iran what is the ultimate goal?
- 49:31is it regime change
- 49:32to put in people they want
- 49:34or they want the mullahs to stay?
- 49:35I think the neocons
- 49:37and Davos
- 49:39want to have Israel
- 49:42create regime change
- 49:44in order to put their guy in
- 49:45to meet the new boss same as the old boss
- 49:47so that way
- 49:48even if Trump doesn't get involved
- 49:50they still get what they want
- 49:52you have to think this through, it's like a flowchart
- 49:55to these people, how do we get to where we need to go
- 49:57well there's multiple paths
- 49:58and this is how we get there
- 49:59if Netanyahu
- 50:03does not push for regime change
- 50:05that's a way
- 50:07that's a tell that he's not even working
- 50:09for them anymore, that the betrayal argument
- 50:11actually fits
- 50:12all he has to do is knock out their nuclear weapons
- 50:15capability
- 50:15wipe out terminally weakened the irgc dismantle the axis of resistance and then walk away
- 50:25and let a terminally weakened iran from that perspective pick up the pieces
- 50:33putin monitors the rest of it everybody knows that israel can show up tomorrow if they start
- 50:40trying to lob missiles at anybody again got news for you we're gonna do the same fucking thing again
- 50:44And they don't have to do anything more than that until the Iranian people finally decide for themselves who's actually going to lead them.
- 50:52Because the theocracy is not well liked.
- 50:56But that is true.
- 50:58That does not mean that they want the Shah to return, the grandson of the Shah.
- 51:06And what you'll hear out of the Iranian diaspora is that he's the dude.
- 51:13Like, no, that Iranian diaspora is the same people that are working with the friggin city of London and the, you know, quote unquote, the Jews to effect regime change.
- 51:22So now play the game out.
- 51:25Trump is letting everybody hang themselves.
- 51:27And what did he say?
- 51:29Come back to the negotiating table.
- 51:31Come to me.
- 51:32So the other possibility.
- 51:34So was it kayfabe or was it real?
- 51:36The other side of that is that Trump negotiated a deal.
- 51:41It was a good deal.
- 51:41It was unacceptable to the Israelis.
- 51:44It was also unacceptable to the city of London.
- 51:46And they said, nope, sorry, we're going.
- 51:51And Trump's like, okay, I'll defend you, but you better pull it off.
- 51:59Because Trump and Netanyahu can want Iran to not have a nuclear weapon for different reasons.
- 52:07Trump can just not want them to have nuclear weapons because he wants to denuclearize Middle East.
- 52:11Netanyahu could want Iran not to have a nuclear weapon to secure Israel's future and to pave the way for his colonial masters to take the country over and break up the bricks and break up and create an Iran that could be used as a soft underbelly and pointed then at the Russians and break up the international north-south transport corridor and break up Belt and Road.
- 52:33yeah and i think the other thing that we haven't touched on that is an important piece of context
- 52:41for everything going on right now is the the big meeting in the middle east only a month ago with
- 52:47the united states and that tour that went on in abu dhabi and the emirates and qatar and
- 52:53other parts of the region that everybody came out very confident and uh optimistic after that and
- 53:01less than a month later you have all this right well here how about this trump i thought trump
- 53:08achieved more in getting everybody on board with a plan to rebuild the middle east
- 53:13not along sectarian fake conflicts that were set in motion by the british and the french with
- 53:21sykes-peacott and balfour decoration and world war ii and all this crap to bring everybody together
- 53:27and say, okay, let's fix all this.
- 53:32We're going to pull our guys out of Syria.
- 53:34The SDF Kurds have made a deal with HTS in Damascus.
- 53:39It's starting to happen.
- 53:40The Saudis want to invest in the United States, the UAE,
- 53:45even trying to bring the Qataris in from the cold.
- 53:51And then everybody said Iran could be a great country again.
- 53:56even Bibi Netanyahu and he never said that before in his statement on Thursday night last week I'm
- 54:02not cherry picking here I'm bringing it up for people to understand I don't have a good answer
- 54:07about Netanyahu I can I can give you the three five six seven faces of Benjamin Netanyahu and
- 54:12I can tell you that they're all maybe equally probable like I don't have a good read on the
- 54:17guy at this point in this moment what I'm trying to do is get everybody out of their one set
- 54:23narrative that they've been that they've been fed and that even i used to believe i don't believe
- 54:28it anymore i'm now i'm now in a state of flux trying to figure it all out for real not based
- 54:35on what somebody wants me to believe okay and you know like where are we like you know we were there
- 54:43we had a trump achieved more in 10 days in the middle east than had been achieved in 10 years
- 54:50in terms of stitching the world together,
- 54:54back together with commerce and trade and peace
- 54:57and all the rest of it.
- 54:59Honestly, one of the most powerful presidential speeches
- 55:01abroad in my lifetime.
- 55:04And something I've honestly, as a millennial
- 55:08who grew up with 9-11, the Middle East wars,
- 55:11financial crisis, him going there and saying,
- 55:14hey, we're not here to nation build and do this for you.
- 55:17You guys are completely competent
- 55:18and able to do it yourself.
- 55:19That is a form of like a combination of like humility and statesmanship that you want to see.
- 55:26Obviously, Trump is very brash and abrasive for a lot of people.
- 55:31But I think you have to acknowledge that that was a very strong speech and the message that needed to be sent.
- 55:37Like, hey, like he wants to do deals.
- 55:39We want to do deals.
- 55:40You're completely competent to build up your own countries.
- 55:43Like I'm looking around what you guys have done yourselves.
- 55:45Like you don't need us.
- 55:46And I think that's what they exactly what they want to hear.
- 55:48It's just that mutual respect of we can do this, you guys can do your thing, and we can work together.
- 55:55That's what you want to hear.
- 55:57I agree with you completely.
- 55:58I'm glad you brought it back up because I forgot all about it in all of this.
- 56:01I got focused on the deals.
- 56:03I forgot about what he actually said.
- 56:04And what you said, Marty, that's an unbelievably great client.
- 56:09And it further underscores or undergirds most of what I'm saying,
- 56:16which some of which of course is contradictory because i'm putting out different versions of
- 56:21reality for you to pick one and slot all these bits and pieces into and then you decide for
- 56:26yourself which one is the best version of this we're going to find out in a couple of weeks
- 56:30because trump just set a new deadline you got two weeks to negotiate now come to the table because
- 56:36look what if netanyahu wasn't lying that iran negotiates like zelensky in fact come to the table
- 56:44to make the same demands that they've always made,
- 56:47not actually agree to anything,
- 56:49drag everything out, drag everything out,
- 56:51drag everything out,
- 56:52and who negotiates like that?
- 56:55People who believe that their benefactors
- 56:58who are standing behind them
- 56:59have their back and they don't respect
- 57:02the other person on the other side
- 57:03of the negotiating table.
- 57:05Right?
- 57:07That's how Zelensky is being,
- 57:08that's how Zelensky acts in Ukraine.
- 57:10He knows that NATO,
- 57:12and he's being told by NATO and Brussels and London,
- 57:16just wear them out.
- 57:18We're going to get rid of Trump.
- 57:19We're going to take care of him
- 57:20and then everything will be fine
- 57:21and then we're going to come in
- 57:22and we're going to help you push out the evil Russians.
- 57:25If you even believe that Zelensky is anything other than a puppet.
- 57:28If you believe he's even,
- 57:29even if you believe he's an Ukrainian national,
- 57:31which I don't,
- 57:32but let's make the most generous read on him
- 57:34we can possibly come up with
- 57:35and then see if the facts fit that bullshit read, right?
- 57:39Like, no, he's clearly working with them
- 57:41And this is what their plan is.
- 57:46And they've cooked it up together.
- 57:47And they're executing their strategy, which is to do what they always do, which is to never negotiate.
- 57:54First they steal shit from you, and then they negotiate for you to get your shit back from them.
- 58:00That's what they do.
- 58:01and from the Russians perspective
- 58:04and from a historical perspective
- 58:05everything east of the Dnieper
- 58:08is shit that the Russians
- 58:10actually should have always owned
- 58:12and
- 58:14they're not even willing to
- 58:16negotiate to give them
- 58:18back the shit that they stole
- 58:19after the Soviet Union fell
- 58:21because the
- 58:23borders of the
- 58:26Ukraine SSR
- 58:27Soviet Socialist Republic
- 58:30were created by Khrushchev in 1954.
- 58:35Okay?
- 58:36Inside the federation that was the USSR,
- 58:40Ukraine plus Crimea was created by those borders
- 58:45were created by Khrushchev in the 50s.
- 58:48Or Stalin, one or the other.
- 58:51It was never a real version of the country.
- 58:54Historically speaking, if anything that is Ukraine,
- 58:57it's the area around Kiev.
- 58:58and that's it
- 59:00the rest of this is evidenced by Crimeans
- 59:04identifying as Russians
- 59:05everything from Odessa to Sumy
- 59:07they're turning off
- 59:09is pretty much Russian
- 59:11everything around Kiev
- 59:14you could call Ukrainian
- 59:15everything around Lviv
- 59:17because I refuse to call it Lviv
- 59:19I refuse to Ukrainianify any of these things
- 59:22as far as I'm concerned
- 59:22Vladimir Zelensky
- 59:24because I don't even believe
- 59:25I'm so friggin over
- 59:27this whole Ukrainianification
- 59:28of the entire goddamn English language
- 59:30because I don't care.
- 59:32That's another psyop.
- 59:33That's just me being a dick, by the way.
- 59:36It's Kiev.
- 59:37Yeah, it's Kiev, by the way.
- 59:39And it's Odessa with two S's.
- 59:42Okay?
- 59:45So, it's Lavov
- 59:47because it's Polish.
- 59:49It's Transcarpathia, which is Hungarian.
- 59:51I don't know the name of the area
- 59:53that's friggin' Romanian.
- 59:56There's very little of Ukraine
- 59:58that you could actually call Ukraine.
- 1:00:02And okay with the Russians not taking that over.
- 1:00:04I'm actually, if I'm Vladimir Putin,
- 1:00:06I don't want to take that over.
- 1:00:07Who the hell wants to be ruled?
- 1:00:08Who the hell wants to rule those people?
- 1:00:10They hate us.
- 1:00:13But everything east of the Dnieper,
- 1:00:15like the Russians are just claiming their territory
- 1:00:17from their perspective.
- 1:00:19I'm not saying it's, you know,
- 1:00:21I'm not saying it's not going to be without conflict,
- 1:00:22and I'm certainly not saying that it's, you know,
- 1:00:25that the Russians aren't overstating their case.
- 1:00:30Everybody engages in propaganda.
- 1:00:32The Iranians do it.
- 1:00:34The Russians do it.
- 1:00:34The Israelis do it.
- 1:00:35The Dabojians do it.
- 1:00:36The Americans do it.
- 1:00:37The British do it.
- 1:00:38Everybody does it.
- 1:00:40The best lies have a kernel of truth to them.
- 1:00:44Yeah, and that's why I love talking about you,
- 1:00:46and this is something that anybody listening to this needs to realize,
- 1:00:48is you're being propagandized by every side,
- 1:00:51and it's trying to dissect the propaganda from each direction
- 1:00:54and figure out exactly what's going on.
- 1:00:57Moreover, their propaganda has different flavors.
- 1:01:01Russian propaganda looks different than American propaganda,
- 1:01:04which looks different than British propaganda,
- 1:01:06which looks different than Chinese propaganda,
- 1:01:08which looks different than Iranian propaganda.
- 1:01:10They have different flavors to them.
- 1:01:12They use different techniques.
- 1:01:13They don't all use the same technique.
- 1:01:16So this is why when people keep coming back to me,
- 1:01:19Iran's been trying to be two weeks away from a nuclear weapon for 30 years.
- 1:01:23I know.
- 1:01:24It's a stale talking point.
- 1:01:26Doesn't mean it's not true.
- 1:01:28Partially.
- 1:01:30Today.
- 1:01:31Right now.
- 1:01:31Right, right now.
- 1:01:33Doesn't mean it's not true.
- 1:01:34Go look at the facts.
- 1:01:36Dexter White and I, you know, Dexter White tells me all the time when I start going off half cocky, he's like, dude, facts matter.
- 1:01:43So I'm going to, so then he spends all day like, you know, looking at all the facts that he can find, that he can trust.
- 1:01:51that means not the AI generated
- 1:01:54facts that are out there not this fact
- 1:01:56you know then you gotta be
- 1:01:58looking at shit like he does like
- 1:01:59you know
- 1:02:00and the way he does
- 1:02:04it and you're like
- 1:02:05yeah I have to
- 1:02:07become an expert in you know
- 1:02:10the circular air projection of the missiles
- 1:02:12that are being lobbed at each other
- 1:02:14and the this and the that and how big the
- 1:02:16payload is and what the
- 1:02:17range is and know all of that
- 1:02:19before you can even get it.
- 1:02:22It's funny.
- 1:02:24Well, like on the Iran,
- 1:02:26two weeks away from the nuclear war,
- 1:02:28everybody likes to call somebody,
- 1:02:29like, you're the boy who cried wolf.
- 1:02:32And they say it in the context of, like,
- 1:02:34nothing ever happens.
- 1:02:35But, like, in the parable,
- 1:02:36the story of the boy who cried wolf,
- 1:02:38he eventually got eaten by a wolf.
- 1:02:39Like, it actually happened.
- 1:02:40Eventually the wolf actually attacks.
- 1:02:43And maybe that's where we are.
- 1:02:45Yeah.
- 1:02:46And the parable is,
- 1:02:48you shouldn't cry wolf,
- 1:02:49And this is part of the reason why Netanyahu has outlived, may have outlived his usefulness to everyone, including to Trump.
- 1:02:59And then the question is, who's Zoom and who, who's using who, and who's using who how?
- 1:03:05And I don't have a perfect answer for that.
- 1:03:07I wish I did, even if I did have a perfect answer for it.
- 1:03:11Here's the truth.
- 1:03:1375% of the people listening to my voice right now won't believe it anyway.
- 1:03:15because when you've been propagandized too hard,
- 1:03:18it doesn't matter how many facts I put in front of you.
- 1:03:21You can't convince somebody who wants to believe something else with facts.
- 1:03:25Yeah.
- 1:03:26Well, bringing this back to facts
- 1:03:28and based on everything we just discussed over the last hour
- 1:03:32and really drawing back from the beginning of the conversation
- 1:03:35with the inversion of the short-term rates
- 1:03:37and all the central banks lowering rates,
- 1:03:41do you think this is like a last-ditch effort
- 1:03:45by the Davos class to really just like send things into pure chaos
- 1:03:51in hopes that people get so discombobulated
- 1:03:54they sort of go the direction that they would like to push the world.
- 1:04:00That's exactly what I think this is.
- 1:04:03I think I spent a lot of time with Martin Armstrong and Alex up in Calgary last month.
- 1:04:08and in my conversations with marty
- 1:04:14you know it became pretty obvious that we're reaching the end game where
- 1:04:21the europeans can continue to play their game of extend and pretend
- 1:04:26that they're not broke that their economies aren't
- 1:04:30crushed that canada is going to continue to be one
- 1:04:34big beautiful country of, you know, maple syrup drinking, hockey playing, you know,
- 1:04:40sorry, you know, like, no, like the Canadian, every freaking Albertan that I talked to,
- 1:04:45and I talked to a lot of them were like, this place is done. When are we leaving?
- 1:04:52Okay. So, and I, you know, and, and I love them for it. And I love them for it because I also
- 1:05:02realize that they don't have any illusions left about what's happened to their country.
- 1:05:09They know their country's fucked. We Americans still have holdout hope that our country isn't
- 1:05:15terminally fucked. And they're in a much better place to do what needs to be done than we are.
- 1:05:23But here's the difference. The difference is America still has a lot to offer itself
- 1:05:27if it can just get out of its own way and get the traitors elements within it
- 1:05:31out. The system
- 1:05:33that we currently have may not
- 1:05:35survive, but America can
- 1:05:37survive. The idea of America
- 1:05:40can still survive. And
- 1:05:41morph into something new,
- 1:05:44wiser, hopefully more
- 1:05:45humble, but
- 1:05:47the old system that we've all grown up under,
- 1:05:50that dollar hegemonic,
- 1:05:53you know,
- 1:05:54undead baby
- 1:05:56of the fucking British Empire,
- 1:05:58which is what we are,
- 1:06:00can go away.
- 1:06:01you know this undead zombie running around like rambo without a goddamn jockstrap
- 1:06:10pissing everybody off and destroying brown people for freedom it's fucking it's fucking
- 1:06:20terrible none of us want that anymore nobody wants it we're all he wants it other than
- 1:06:25Other than Lindsey fucking Grant.
- 1:06:29Yeah.
- 1:06:29That motherfucker.
- 1:06:30It's like how people of South Carolina, I mean, it's probably not them.
- 1:06:34There may be some manipulation there, but.
- 1:06:36Sure.
- 1:06:37Get that guy out of office.
- 1:06:38But, and like to your point too, first thing on the, on the conversation of U.S. versus America.
- 1:06:47I mean, your Florida Panthers just beat the, the Oilers again and the Stanley Cup.
- 1:06:50That may be an omen there in terms of dominance over Canada.
- 1:06:54I'm a little sad because I'm actually an Oilers fan at heart.
- 1:06:59I would like to see McDavid win one.
- 1:07:01Yeah, I'm an Oilers fan at heart now,
- 1:07:04and I've watched them come close now twice,
- 1:07:07but Florida has better coaches and a better goaltending.
- 1:07:11There's a slightly better team, slightly better, not much.
- 1:07:14But, you know, you've got to learn to lose before you can win.
- 1:07:17Yeah.
- 1:07:19A little divergent hockey talk there, but you can feel it.
- 1:07:23Like, there's a very clear, like, we're, like, reaching this precipice where you can see both paths.
- 1:07:30Like, we devolve into the sort of mismanaged globalist world that we've been living through my whole life, at least.
- 1:07:40Or, like, you can feel the energy or people just want to go dud shit and move humanity forward.
- 1:07:47Like, I can feel it.
- 1:07:48I'm leveraging the tools.
- 1:07:50And it does feel like we're at that sort of that atomic point where it explodes and we figure out which way we're going.
- 1:07:58I like to look at it when I do the chemistry argument.
- 1:08:03I like to look at it as we're getting up the energy cliff that we need to do.
- 1:08:11It's activation energy.
- 1:08:12No matter what happens in a chemical reaction, no matter how spontaneous it is or energetically favorable it is,
- 1:08:19there has to be a period of reorganization where we have this stable, we have this compound, we have that compound.
- 1:08:25But these two really do want to react with each other and form this compound.
- 1:08:27But to get there, there has to be a reorganization.
- 1:08:30This is why Gibbs free energy is both enthalpy, internal energy, and entropy, internal disorder.
- 1:08:37It's a change in those things that determine whether delta G, change in free energy, is equal to delta H, change in enthalpy, minus temperature times the change in entropy.
- 1:08:47Delta G is equal to delta H minus T delta S.
- 1:08:50the entropy part of the equation, that's a gross macro statement about whether it's going to happen.
- 1:08:59Get to that process.
- 1:09:01To get to the other side of the process, there's always a reorganization.
- 1:09:05Bonds have to be broken and reformed.
- 1:09:07And there's these transition states that happen where the old bonds have to break
- 1:09:11and then they reform into something new.
- 1:09:15There's an energy cost to get that happen.
- 1:09:18You've got to put energy into the system generally to get that reorganization.
- 1:09:22And what you're saying is we're right at the cliff of that where we hit the top of the activation energy curve and then we fall over.
- 1:09:30And if it's a spontaneous thing, it'll go boom.
- 1:09:35Some reactions are really quick.
- 1:09:37Some.
- 1:09:41And then they go.
- 1:09:42and sometimes they start slowly but then the energy that they release fuels the reorganization
- 1:09:49that we've had we work so hard to get until it becomes a runaway train the best reaction i can
- 1:09:55talk to about that is like the thermite reaction right iron rust plus aluminum metal creates a
- 1:10:02molten iron and aluminum oxide it's a very entropy driven reaction it has a huge activation energy
- 1:10:09But it's so exothermic on the back end that it becomes this, it's just like nuclear fission.
- 1:10:15Once it starts, then it goes, right?
- 1:10:19And the catalyst to get that thing started, there's a number of ways of doing it.
- 1:10:24You can start it off quickly by using a magnesium stick and getting it started.
- 1:10:28Magnesium burning with oxygen is a huge amount of energy.
- 1:10:31You can also start it with sodium hydroxide.
- 1:10:33And you just pour some lye, a lye solution on it, and eventually there's enough energy there.
- 1:10:39And it takes a long time.
- 1:10:40And so you can pour it on there and then walk away.
- 1:10:42And you can be in the next fucking county before the thing starts.
- 1:10:46You know, there's multiple ways of starting their reaction.
- 1:10:49And I think that one of the things that, you know, what Davos does is to thieve that activation energy to keep us from ever getting to that reorganization that we all desperately so want.
- 1:11:00And this Iran-Israel perpetual war is one of those ways that we thieve all of our energy.
- 1:11:08because we spending all this energy and all this money and all this time and energy everything else making weapons to keep these two from fighting each other and all the diplomacy and all the aid and all the this and all the that
- 1:11:20And that's all freaking waste.
- 1:11:23It's all just tamping down the activation energy to create something new and better.
- 1:11:31wouldn't it be a wonderful world
- 1:11:34if we can say, you know what, we don't need to use
- 1:11:36any of that stuff to make those weapons
- 1:11:38anymore, we can take all that technology
- 1:11:40that we use to fight
- 1:11:42this war that we don't need to fight
- 1:11:44and all that technology can now be used to build
- 1:11:46a better world, and I can have my flying cars
- 1:11:48and I can have my this and I can have my that
- 1:11:50and we can move on with a better life
- 1:11:52and
- 1:11:54you know
- 1:11:55and that's why we live in such
- 1:11:58a fallen world, that's why everything
- 1:12:00that's why it's 2025 and it kind of every day we get up and it still looks like it's 1985 the only
- 1:12:05difference is like you know the graphics on the on the television screen are better because you know
- 1:12:11and um and you know the this the signs have been updated at the local fast food joint but we're
- 1:12:19still eating fat we're still eating crappy fast food are we're still driving the same streets we're
- 1:12:24still basically driving the same cars you know what i mean like nothing's changed like and you
- 1:12:31gotta ask yourself where all that money go it went into serving all of these diverging these
- 1:12:37divergences which keep us from being mission you know purpose built mission focused to
- 1:12:45make humanity better and you know i'm sorry but i look around the world and i say to myself
- 1:12:52whose M.O. is that
- 1:12:55and it's always the same people
- 1:12:57it's the ones with the colonialist mindset
- 1:12:59that they're going to take from everybody else
- 1:13:02for themselves
- 1:13:03and you know unfortunately
- 1:13:05America
- 1:13:08big sin
- 1:13:09was being subsumed
- 1:13:12into that model
- 1:13:13by our
- 1:13:14British and European
- 1:13:17forebears
- 1:13:18and you know
- 1:13:20that's our sin so can we
- 1:13:22expiate our sin please
- 1:13:23and we're going to do that by
- 1:13:26ending this bullshit conflict between Israel
- 1:13:28and Iran
- 1:13:29do you think we can do it and like the
- 1:13:32other thing too like if you're running with your
- 1:13:34thesis at Dalvis and
- 1:13:36England behind this specifically like
- 1:13:38if you look domestically at England it's not looking great
- 1:13:40either like that's devolving
- 1:13:42there yeah it's no don't use the word
- 1:13:44England my friend Ian Burlingame has to remind me
- 1:13:46that you use the term British to describe
- 1:13:48the traitors to the to to english to english society and england is the thing that's been
- 1:13:54left behind what he very rightly points out is that look the english gave us the magna carta
- 1:14:01the english destroyed the monarchy and the feudal system we are the inheritors in america of english
- 1:14:10of the gifts of the of of of the englishman who created all these things created that first
- 1:14:18technological level up like it's like the code of Hammurabi then the code Magna Carta then the
- 1:14:24constitution in terms of our influence on the evolution of of human organizational principles
- 1:14:32we learned a lot of stuff from the Native Americans we took what the what was in the
- 1:14:36Magna Carta and from English society we melded it openly melded it with what we saw from the
- 1:14:42Native Americans and created the Constitution. And of course, the people who are still wedded
- 1:14:49to the old feudal belief systems that there should be an overclass of lords that has every right to
- 1:14:54rule over humanity, why wouldn't they be trying to do everything they can to destroy the one set
- 1:15:01of colonies that got away and created the system that repudiates their system at the philosophical
- 1:15:08level. Why do you think they hate us so much, Marty? It's because of that. Because every day
- 1:15:15that America exists and proves their system is shit is another day that they can't rule the world.
- 1:15:26And we have the opportunity, they have to destroy America, the idea, not just America,
- 1:15:32of the country. They have to prove to humanity that free markets don't work, that individualism
- 1:15:38doesn't work or some form of individualism, whatever that may be. And, you know, I used to
- 1:15:43be a hyper individualist. I'm not really sure what the fuck I am anymore. And, you know, I don't care.
- 1:15:49I'll figure out what I am on the other side of this crisis period. I still want to be that person,
- 1:15:54but I don't know that I can be that person. And, you know, and I think, you know, it's the same
- 1:16:00thing that you know every time you and i have this conversation we get into like the the the
- 1:16:04philosophy of bitcoin and decentralization and all of these things i just i remind the older i get
- 1:16:11the more i want to caution people about being wedded to any one particular version of the future
- 1:16:15because you know as as humans we may not be ready for that what your version of the future as opposed
- 1:16:21to the one that's going to show up you know we may be wrong and what we want to do is we want to
- 1:16:27define ourselves as to what we believe in as opposed to what we oppose and keep it and keep
- 1:16:37ourselves philosophically focused on our ethos what it is who we are because again going back to
- 1:16:44the greeks if you have an ethos then you have the ability to have a telos part of the problem that
- 1:16:50i think personally that the libertarians have had is that they've always defined themselves as to
- 1:16:55what they're not they're not keynesians they're not they're not collectivists they're not this
- 1:17:02they are trying to say they believe in individualism but have they have they really
- 1:17:08defined that as okay though how do you build something from that how do you turn that philosophy
- 1:17:13into something that's real how do you turn that how do you make that statement that says i am this
- 1:17:20and therefore because of this I am going to build that.
- 1:17:23I'm not against that idea.
- 1:17:25I think that is where, I think that's exactly what libertarians are trying,
- 1:17:30or libertarianism at its core is.
- 1:17:32That's where I went.
- 1:17:34And what I found, most libertarians don't believe in that.
- 1:17:37Most libertarians just have oppositional defiance disorder.
- 1:17:43And they don't know how to navigate the real world.
- 1:17:47and that they're purely spiraling to saying i have to be this hyper individualist as opposed
- 1:17:53to being my goal is to minimize suffering not eliminate it minimize it yeah now to um
- 1:18:02to report about bitcoin and bitcoin i think that's actually something i'm very happy that
- 1:18:06is materialized in the last three to four years specifically it's like this idea is like you're
- 1:18:13Right. For the longest time, it was fuck the state and our capitalists.
- 1:18:17Like, let's just go build something in parallel and people will adopt it.
- 1:18:20But I think with the attacks from the Biden administration, funnily enough, like the industry got to a point where it's like, hey, you may not care about political power, but it cares about you.
- 1:18:31And if you if you understand that, you got to pull your pants up, put your boots on and get in the war.
- 1:18:39because you've got to live in a world with a certain reality.
- 1:18:44You may think it's got to be this way, but it operates this way.
- 1:18:48And with that in mind, engage.
- 1:18:51Well, yeah.
- 1:18:53Again, it's exactly what I was saying about the Fed, about this.
- 1:18:55Again, I've always said the same thing.
- 1:18:58Keep your goal on the horizon.
- 1:19:01You don't have to achieve your goal by linearly moving in that direction.
- 1:19:07You can make alliances with other people.
- 1:19:09I invoked Justin Raimondo trying to bring the real, true anti-war elements of American society to come together as a political force after 9-11 to counteract what the neocons were doing.
- 1:19:21And he failed miserably.
- 1:19:22He was right.
- 1:19:24Lou Rockwell was right.
- 1:19:26The whole of that group of people, they were completely right.
- 1:19:30And they couldn't do it.
- 1:19:31You want to know why?
- 1:19:32Because the Greens were never individuals.
- 1:19:34They were never anti-war.
- 1:19:35They were always fake anti-war.
- 1:19:36They were just commies.
- 1:19:38and they're really just Trotskyites.
- 1:19:40And Trotskyites are the sect of communism
- 1:19:43that believes in perpetual war for perpetual revolution.
- 1:19:48Guess what?
- 1:19:48So were the neocons.
- 1:19:50And so the Greens and the neocons.
- 1:19:51So why do you think German Greens morphed into neocons
- 1:19:53on foreign policy?
- 1:19:57Because they always were war bombers.
- 1:19:58Maybe because they were always a construct of the city of London
- 1:20:01who was promulgating that,
- 1:20:03who were ceding that into the zeitgeist the entire time.
- 1:20:06and when you go back over it
- 1:20:08and you start really going back over the history
- 1:20:09of all of these political movements
- 1:20:11since Comintern, you come to some very startling
- 1:20:14conclusions about how the IC fucked with
- 1:20:19art and music and this and that and everything else
- 1:20:23the media, all of it in order
- 1:20:25and it's not just the Jews
- 1:20:27it's actually even worse than that
- 1:20:29it's actually everybody who just wants power
- 1:20:33and that the sad part is that modern communists don't realize that they're the useful idiots for
- 1:20:39the very people that they think they're trying to fight and the libertarians are purity spiraling
- 1:20:43into the same position and i'm just like i'm over it i don't care i'm not interested i want to win
- 1:20:48well yeah it's not productive and you got to want to win you gotta whether you like it or not the
- 1:20:54game exists the players are on the board and you got to operate within that system right and sometimes With that in mind Sometimes you might have to make a deal with a dragon in order to get to where you need to go which is what i told the mises institute back in october and i was laughing and i was i was
- 1:21:08running out of the room on a rail and called a clown and they refused to they refused to publish
- 1:21:13the speech so suck it tom deal or unzo i'm winning you're losing but that's okay have a nice day
- 1:21:19well in that mind i'm winning like ultimately winning it seems i don't know if it's clear but
- 1:21:25many people are making out to be like the next this summer is critical in terms of how we thread
- 1:21:31the needle to get on the other side i agree i agree what are what are what are your thoughts
- 1:21:35are like ultimately what would be an ideal scenario or a progression of events between now
- 1:21:43and labor day um that would get us to the other side allow america to rip yeah so an ideal
- 1:21:50progression of events is that's the easy one that's the one i i love that one i don't think
- 1:21:55we're going to get there, but that's the easy one.
- 1:21:57It's Iran comes to the table, makes a deal,
- 1:22:00and repudiates Davos, right?
- 1:22:02And then forces the Israelis to back down and go,
- 1:22:06okay, well, mission accomplished.
- 1:22:07You stopped it from getting a nuclear weapon.
- 1:22:09You're good to go.
- 1:22:09But oh, by the way, Israel,
- 1:22:11you now no longer have your casus belli.
- 1:22:13So you don't need to be pursuing things
- 1:22:16the way you have in the past.
- 1:22:17You've been betrayed by your masters,
- 1:22:18or you tried to do their bidding,
- 1:22:20however you want to put it.
- 1:22:22We're going to kill those guys.
- 1:22:24We're in the process of killing those guys in the financial markets right now.
- 1:22:26We're going to start destroying them.
- 1:22:28We're going to see all the frameworks for a sovereign debt crisis to emerge in Europe,
- 1:22:34which is going to turn into a political crisis next year.
- 1:22:37This is the Martin Armstrong timeline.
- 1:22:39I think that's on the table.
- 1:22:41The budget reconciliation, the big, beautiful budget reconciliation bill,
- 1:22:46passes through the Senate, basically back to the House for any small changes.
- 1:22:52It gets through. Trump no longer needs Congress, where he has a very thin majority.
- 1:22:58He's able to claim victory that, hey, we had a war.
- 1:23:02Everybody thought it was going to be a forever war. I got it done in two weeks.
- 1:23:07And only a few people died, as opposed to hundreds of millions.
- 1:23:10And we're on the path to peace.
- 1:23:13And Putin agrees with that.
- 1:23:16Putin and the Russians do what they need to do in Ukraine.
- 1:23:20if Davos starts to collapse
- 1:23:23if Europe really starts to collapse
- 1:23:25and there's a run on the pound
- 1:23:27there's a run on the euro and all that stuff
- 1:23:29then Zelensky's
- 1:23:30support in Kiev
- 1:23:32will collapse
- 1:23:34he'll be killed and the Ukrainians will come to the table
- 1:23:37and the Russians will
- 1:23:39negotiate a very
- 1:23:41uncomfortable peace
- 1:23:42and
- 1:23:45by the fall
- 1:23:46by Labor Day
- 1:23:47You know, the stock market will have to deal with a lot of churn and whatnot.
- 1:23:53But by Labor Day, Scott Bessent's out there rolling out.
- 1:23:57Scott Bessent and Bill Pulte are rolling Fannie and Freddie out of conservatorship, relisting them, doing all that work.
- 1:24:03And then we can start fixing the American housing market and everything else.
- 1:24:08and the American middle class can monetize and extract their equity from their homes
- 1:24:15in order to really jumpstart the economy.
- 1:24:19Interest rates fall, Powell cuts to 3%, and Trump can start the golden age process.
- 1:24:26That's the optimal outcome.
- 1:24:28It's not going to be without a tick-ups.
- 1:24:30It's not going to be without a crisis.
- 1:24:33If there's a sovereign debt crisis in Europe and that starts to unwind, sure.
- 1:24:37Are we going to have banks fail in the United States?
- 1:24:39Is the Fed going to have to come in and provide temporary liquidity and whatnot?
- 1:24:43As they're supposed to, as is their freaking job, whether you like it or not.
- 1:24:46It's not QE, zero hedge, get the fuck over yourself.
- 1:24:49Is the Fed doing their job?
- 1:24:50As opposed to all the shit that they used to do, where they were doing Davos' job.
- 1:24:54No.
- 1:24:55And we've already watched Mark Carney and others
- 1:25:02execute one of the most vicious financial attacks that I have seen in my lifetime.
- 1:25:11And it was over in four days.
- 1:25:14What was that?
- 1:25:15So far, the tariff tantrum back in April.
- 1:25:20They were attacking the SOFR strip.
- 1:25:22They weren't doing like the basis trade that everybody was talking about.
- 1:25:25And I think I might have, my first version of this was that it was actually,
- 1:25:28they were attacking what's known as the SOFR strip,
- 1:25:30from six months out to three years.
- 1:25:34Basically, it's a basis trade in that.
- 1:25:36But they were attacking SOFR,
- 1:25:38the SOFR futures market.
- 1:25:40And within five days, it was over.
- 1:25:44Because they ran out of money.
- 1:25:48I was actually on a podcast earlier today
- 1:25:51with a Canadian equitback.
- 1:25:54He was saying
- 1:25:55the Canadian government
- 1:26:00has something like
- 1:26:01$50 billion Canadian dollars
- 1:26:02on its balance.
- 1:26:03It has no reserves.
- 1:26:04It's sold off all its gold.
- 1:26:06They have $350 billion
- 1:26:08worth of U.S. Treasuries.
- 1:26:10That's all they have.
- 1:26:12Yeah.
- 1:26:12They have nothing.
- 1:26:13And they sold 14% of them in April.
- 1:26:18Now they're going to have to.
- 1:26:20And what was the net effect
- 1:26:21of this, Marty?
- 1:26:22This is the dumbest play imaginable.
- 1:26:25The net effect was Trump still put the tariffs on.
- 1:26:28All these currencies went up by 10% to 15%.
- 1:26:32You know what that did?
- 1:26:33It just made the tariffs twice as expensive.
- 1:26:36And they didn't get the Fed to come in and have to go back to the zero bound.
- 1:26:44The Fed's still holding interest rates at 4.5%.
- 1:26:46It's as big a red-ass beatdown as what Israel put on Iran on Thursday.
- 1:26:52Well, that begs the question. I go back to what I said in the beginning about Trump and his positioning towards Powell. Is that K-Fob?
- 1:27:03I think so.
- 1:27:05I think Trump is setting up for a much different Federal Reserve chair next year when Powell's term ends.
- 1:27:13one of the things I was chatting with a guy earlier today,
- 1:27:17I did a shorter interview this morning with somebody
- 1:27:19or it said afternoon with someone I had never spoken to before.
- 1:27:23So we kept it short, not for any other reason
- 1:27:27that he knew I was really tired.
- 1:27:28I've done a lot of interviews this week
- 1:27:29and I put in like four straight 17-hour days
- 1:27:32and I'm fucking exhausted, man.
- 1:27:33I'm not going to lie.
- 1:27:35But what came out of that to remind him,
- 1:27:38I said, look, if you look at Powell, Besant, and Trump, what do you hear out of the MAGA guys all the time?
- 1:27:46The kind of orange Jesus talk about, he didn't have to do this.
- 1:27:51He's put his family's honor on the line and all of his money and this, that, and he's sacrificing for his own country, right?
- 1:27:57And I'm not arguing that he didn't do that.
- 1:28:01He did do that.
- 1:28:02And I appreciate that he did that.
- 1:28:04And I still appreciate that he's attempting to do the right thing, even if he makes some mistakes here and there.
- 1:28:08I'm on board.
- 1:28:09I'm loyal to Trump at this point because what else have I got?
- 1:28:14Scott Besson, you could argue very carefully.
- 1:28:17You can argue very easily.
- 1:28:19Scott Besson had billions of dollars.
- 1:28:21He could be sitting on his private island, you know, doing whatever he wants to do.
- 1:28:26He made all of his money in the world.
- 1:28:28He doesn't need to go do this.
- 1:28:29He doesn't need to go walk into Washington, D.C. and run the Treasury Department to fix this mess that Janet Yellen created and change the country.
- 1:28:39No, he's decided to put his own personal, his retirement, this is part of his legacy.
- 1:28:46You can make the same argument about Jerome Powell.
- 1:28:48Daniel Demartino Booth absolutely did all through 2021 and 2022 saying Powell doesn't need this shit.
- 1:28:55He'd go back to private equity and make billions of dollars if he wanted to.
- 1:28:58knowing full well that that lael brainer would have taken over send this back to the zero bound
- 1:29:02i got news for you jerome powell could have made as much money as he absolutely wanted to
- 1:29:05more than you could ever imagine he could have wanted to if those those conditions existed and
- 1:29:11yet here he is slogging away as the fed chair getting getting shit from everybody the whipping
- 1:29:16boy the whipping boy for everyone and executing the most powerful needle thread in monetary history
- 1:29:25they're all the same guy it's all the same story
- 1:29:29like focusing on pal too because you've handedly convinced me over the last two years having these
- 1:29:37conversations about what's going on at the fed like i've again and you've said it too like not
- 1:29:43a big fan in the federal reserve but if you're again working within the confines of a game set
- 1:29:47before you of course i think he's handling it pretty well and i'm just curious like was volker
- 1:29:52hero when because everybody like everybody harkens back to volker as like the supreme example of the
- 1:29:59fed chair that you want to be remembered as like was he liked at all when he was doing um what i
- 1:30:04would i would actually argue now understanding the game that i do now the way i do now that what
- 1:30:12Volcker did by creating, by setting, by doing what he did.
- 1:30:17He had to do it.
- 1:30:19But by doing what he did, he actually gave us the LIBOR standard that nearly destroyed
- 1:30:25the country.
- 1:30:28Interesting.
- 1:30:29Because he raises interest rates into 1981.
- 1:30:32We get the nasty recession.
- 1:30:34By 1983, we're coming out of it.
- 1:30:361984, LIBOR is instantiated around the world as the debt indexing rate of the new dollar
- 1:30:42reserve system Then we get the G5 and the positive accord 1985 setting the currency bands and then they handed it off to Alan Greenspan who fucks everybody
- 1:30:54Now, was Volcker working for the U.S. at that point, or was he working for the group that
- 1:31:03was transferring power from the Bank of England by proxy to the Federal Reserve?
- 1:31:09That's a good question.
- 1:31:11and so I'm not
- 1:31:14I'm not
- 1:31:15you know
- 1:31:16it's a good
- 1:31:17actually Marty
- 1:31:18it's a phenomenal question
- 1:31:19because I actually
- 1:31:20hadn't considered Volker
- 1:31:21from that perspective
- 1:31:22that I just laid out for you
- 1:31:24until you asked the question
- 1:31:26because I'd never actually
- 1:31:27thought of Volker that way
- 1:31:29and I'm like
- 1:31:29oh right
- 1:31:31it makes perfect sense
- 1:31:32that Volker
- 1:31:33then has to
- 1:31:34fix
- 1:31:35you know
- 1:31:37I had been saying
- 1:31:38I've said before
- 1:31:39I'm like
- 1:31:39In 1971, the dollar reserve standard was birth, but it didn't achieve maturity until after Volcker fixed everything.
- 1:31:51Fixed all the excess of the Vietnam War and Bretton Woods.
- 1:31:59So it's a good question.
- 1:32:02I'm not saying it's true.
- 1:32:04You can argue with me about it.
- 1:32:05I'd be happy to have a classic argument.
- 1:32:08not a
- 1:32:10not a debate
- 1:32:11or a throwdown
- 1:32:12or any of the
- 1:32:13bullshit
- 1:32:13but an honest
- 1:32:15to God
- 1:32:15argument
- 1:32:16in the classical
- 1:32:16sense of the word
- 1:32:17argument
- 1:32:19without any
- 1:32:20negative connotations
- 1:32:21yeah
- 1:32:22we need more
- 1:32:23arguments
- 1:32:24so in the
- 1:32:25bitcoin space
- 1:32:26we have a lot
- 1:32:26of meetups
- 1:32:26they're called
- 1:32:27Socratic seminars
- 1:32:27we have a Socratic
- 1:32:28distillation
- 1:32:31of current events
- 1:32:33which is excellent
- 1:32:34try to
- 1:32:34more Socrates
- 1:32:36more Socrates
- 1:32:37yeah
- 1:32:37yeah
- 1:32:38it's fascinating
- 1:32:42I mean for
- 1:32:43the last two conversations
- 1:32:45before this one
- 1:32:47very optimistic
- 1:32:48are you more worried now
- 1:32:49than you were
- 1:32:50last fall
- 1:32:52beginning of this year
- 1:32:53this is very dangerous
- 1:32:56where we are right now
- 1:32:58Trump could easily
- 1:32:59make a mistake
- 1:33:00he has deficits
- 1:33:00he has personality deficits
- 1:33:02that they're trying to use
- 1:33:04against him
- 1:33:04to get him
- 1:33:06to make an unforced error.
- 1:33:10Bombing Fordow
- 1:33:10is an unforced error.
- 1:33:13Because Fordow, at this point,
- 1:33:15should be dismantled
- 1:33:16by ground troops.
- 1:33:20The place should be
- 1:33:21filled with cement
- 1:33:23is what we should do with it.
- 1:33:28But we shouldn't bomb it.
- 1:33:29Because you have no fallout.
- 1:33:30We don't need it.
- 1:33:30You have no fallout.
- 1:33:31Well, I don't think that...
- 1:33:33I'm not worried about...
- 1:33:33It's so far underground,
- 1:33:34I'm not worried about radiation
- 1:33:35or this or...
- 1:33:36I'm talking about making sure that it never comes back because all of those, we can't just bomb the front door.
- 1:33:42And then we can then six months later, somebody goes in, pulls out all the rubble, grabs all the centrifuges and starts this thing all over again.
- 1:33:48No, this has to be a permanent solution.
- 1:33:51And I worry that Trump would use, you know, a bunch of bunk bunker busters and B2s to go in there and, you know, drop the Moabs and do the thing.
- 1:34:02And because he likes that because it's grandiose.
- 1:34:06and it's a big gesture and it's a shock and awe.
- 1:34:09It's the same thing that Truman did when he dropped the bomb.
- 1:34:13It would be the same equivalent of the same mistake Truman made
- 1:34:17when he was convinced by the British to drop the atom bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
- 1:34:25which are war crimes that we will never, ever, ever, as Americans, be able to live down.
- 1:34:33That was a mistake. It was unnecessary.
- 1:34:36It was unnecessary.
- 1:34:38The Japanese wanted to surrender.
- 1:34:39They just needed the safe face.
- 1:34:42Because it's an Asian culture.
- 1:34:44And Truman made a huge mistake.
- 1:34:46So I'm hoping that Trump doesn't make that mistake.
- 1:34:51I am absolutely hoping for it.
- 1:34:54I would rather commit troops on the ground as an American
- 1:34:59to helping the Israelis wipe out Fordow
- 1:35:03to then bring in the B2s.
- 1:35:07It's just that simple.
- 1:35:10I mean, and I say that
- 1:35:12with all the requisite reservations.
- 1:35:16That's how much I do not want Iran
- 1:35:19to have the ability to spin up a nuclear weapon
- 1:35:21for all the things that I've talked about tonight
- 1:35:24because of all the fungibility
- 1:35:25and all the levers of all the fulcrum
- 1:35:29of power that that enables
- 1:35:32that I just, you know, all the things I talked about in this podcast,
- 1:35:36that thing, that as a project is too much.
- 1:35:39I don't want Israel to get away either.
- 1:35:41I'm hoping that the reports I saw that Iran bombed Demona are true.
- 1:35:50I don't want the Israelis to have this as well.
- 1:35:55I don't want them.
- 1:35:57I want India and Pakistan to sign the NPT.
- 1:35:59I want, if Israel isn't, didn't, if Iran didn't get them on, I want Israel to sign a goddamn MPT.
- 1:36:05Like, one of the things that people forget about all of this is that nuclear weapons are really expensive to maintain.
- 1:36:13The warheads degrade because of the uranium half-life, the hydrogen embrittlement of all the, and the neutron embrittlement of all the casings.
- 1:36:20All that stuff is, there are very specific maintenance schedule and refresh schedule.
- 1:36:25and you know you have to you have to wonder just how much money that costs israel which is a very
- 1:36:32small country right how much it's costing pakistan who's paying for all that are we paying for it
- 1:36:38are we paying for pakistan's nuclear arsenal is india are we paying for india's are we paying for
- 1:36:44you know are we paying for israel what if trump says i'm not paying for any of that anymore
- 1:36:50And then all those nuclear programs just degrade as a matter of depreciation.
- 1:36:59With the half-life of uranium-238.
- 1:37:04You know this better than I, but can you turn weapons-grade uranium into energy?
- 1:37:12Yes.
- 1:37:13Yes, absolutely.
- 1:37:14So the reason why the Iranian market was so suppressed for years was because the Russians were good as their word and that they dismantled hundreds and hundreds of nuclear bombs.
- 1:37:29The ones they got from Ukraine, they dismantled.
- 1:37:32They were then mixed down.
- 1:37:33That fuel was then mixed down, turned into what are called single work units.
- 1:37:36that's how nuclear energy is you know it's how it's that's that's the unit they use
- 1:37:43the normal is the normalized yes so you mix it down and then you send it off as nuclear fuel so
- 1:37:50there was this huge stockpile of uranium that was had to be sold off that lasted until around 2018
- 1:37:57because the russians have run out of stuff to to mix down you know me you know me i'm always
- 1:38:05going to tie it back to bitcoin bitcoin ties into denuclearization shout out to elaine al who wrote
- 1:38:12this blog post like seven years ago now at this point the way you guarantee denuclearization is
- 1:38:20you degrade it to energy an energy use case and then you plug in bitcoin miners and you prove via
- 1:38:26the bitcoin mining hash rate going up that you are denuclearizing in real time and you prove it
- 1:38:32yeah yeah yeah and you prove it that's yeah that's beautiful dude it's it's it's excellent
- 1:38:36and you store and and each country begins to accumulate bitcoin yeah yeah i mean everything
- 1:38:43else we're accumulating bitcoin we're doing the thing where we're we're turning we're turning all
- 1:38:48of this we're turning all of this wasted energy this stuff i talked about earlier this wasted
- 1:38:55crap
- 1:38:56and we turn that waste
- 1:38:59into something, into tokenized
- 1:39:01money that we can use
- 1:39:02and then we can
- 1:39:05use it to build beautiful things
- 1:39:07with. We can use it to rebuild
- 1:39:09society and civilization
- 1:39:10as opposed to the feral state that we've been
- 1:39:13reduced to by these fucking assholes.
- 1:39:16I think we just solved the world's problems
- 1:39:19there. Hopefully we get this in the hands of Trump.
- 1:39:21While I was thinking too, I can't
- 1:39:23wait for the day. I know it's going to happen. I'm going to manifest
- 1:39:24this for you when Jerome Powell is finally relieved from his duties at the Federal Reserve
- 1:39:30you two sit down have a cigar and talk about everything I'm uh I'm envisioning and manifesting
- 1:39:37that in my head because I just want to talk to you off the record to learn about that conversation
- 1:39:43so the funny part about that is uh I will invoke the Grant Morrison and tell you to do your chaos
- 1:39:48magic and draw and write that out as a sigil and then you know set it out into the world
- 1:39:52yeah we're gonna do that now i'm uh i can hear my wife is in our third trimester uh
- 1:40:00banging on the door saying it's time for dinner so absolutely congratulations marty i hope that
- 1:40:05we don't if we don't speak in between now and the time when your next child is born
- 1:40:09two ten eleven eyes fingers toes like the old adams family joke right so
- 1:40:17the uh it's always a pleasure sir it's always a great way to end the week and
- 1:40:22And hopefully we can do it again by the end of the summer.
- 1:40:25Hopefully things have gotten better, more clarity.
- 1:40:28But thank you for spending the end of your week with me, sir.
- 1:40:31I appreciate it.
- 1:40:32Thank you for the opportunity, as always.
- 1:40:34Enjoy.
- 1:40:34All right.
- 1:40:35Peace and love, freaks.
