1:34
Thanks
1:34
for
1:34
joining
1:34
us
1:35
today.
1:35
I'm
1:36
Eric
1:36
G.
1:36
We
1:37
got
1:37
John
1:37
Dudley
1:38
here
1:38
in
1:38
the
1:38
studio.
1:38
John,
1:39
good
1:39
to
1:39
see
1:39
you,
1:39
my
1:39
friend.
1:40
What's
1:40
happening,
1:41
brother?
1:41
Good
1:41
to
1:41
be
1:41
here.
1:42
Oh,
1:42
we
1:42
got
1:43
a
1:43
great
1:44
guest
1:44
back
1:44
on
1:45
the
1:45
show
1:45
again,
1:46
my
1:46
dear
1:47
friend,
1:47
Wendy
1:48
Glacier.
1:48
Wendy
1:48
Glacier
1:49
Interiors.
1:50
Welcome
1:50
back
1:50
to
1:50
around
1:51
the
1:51
House.
1:51
Thank
1:52
you.
1:52
I'm
1:52
so
1:52
happy
1:53
to
1:53
be
1:53
here.
1:53
It's
1:54
great
1:54
to
1:54
see
1:54
you
1:54
and
1:54
to
1:54
meet
1:55
your
1:55
friend.
1:55
That's
1:55
awesome.
1:56
Oh,
1:57
man,
1:57
this
1:57
is
1:58
so
1:58
much
1:58
fun.
1:58
You
1:58
and
1:58
I
1:58
always
1:59
just
1:59
bounce
1:59
off
1:59
each
2:00
other
2:00
and
2:00
have
2:00
a
2:00
great
2:00
time.
2:01
Now,
2:01
we
2:01
got
2:01
Dudley
2:02
here
2:02
in
2:02
the
2:02
conversation,
2:03
so
2:03
we're
2:04
going
2:04
to
2:04
have
2:04
two
2:04
designers
2:05
and
2:05
a
2:05
contractor
2:06
talking
2:06
here,
2:06
so
2:07
we're
2:07
going
2:07
to
2:07
have
2:07
a
2:07
good
2:07
time.
2:08
And
2:08
maybe,
2:09
Johnny,
2:09
you're
2:09
kind
2:09
of
2:09
going
2:10
to
2:10
be
2:10
maybe
2:11
ganged
2:11
up
2:11
on
2:11
a
2:11
little
2:12
bit
2:12
here,
2:12
so
2:12
we'll
2:12
have
2:12
some
2:13
fun.
2:13
I'm
2:13
all
2:13
for
2:13
it.
2:14
My
2:14
job,
2:14
my.
2:15
My
2:15
job
2:15
is
2:15
to
2:15
heckle.
2:16
Bring
2:16
it
2:16
on.
2:16
I
2:17
got
2:17
plenty
2:17
of
2:17
things
2:17
to
2:18
say
2:18
about
2:18
designers.
2:19
Flip
2:20
the
2:20
switch,
2:20
buddy.
2:20
Flip
2:21
the
2:21
switches.
2:22
We
2:22
better
2:22
get
2:23
ready.
2:23
I
2:24
got
2:24
the
2:24
mute
2:24
button
2:24
already.
2:25
So.
2:26
So,
2:26
Wendy,
2:26
you
2:27
were
2:27
down
2:27
at
2:27
High
2:28
Point,
2:28
and.
2:29
Yes,
2:29
I
2:29
have
2:30
never
2:30
been
2:30
to
2:30
High
2:31
Point.
2:31
It's
2:31
one
2:31
of
2:31
the
2:31
things
2:31
I've
2:32
got
2:32
to
2:32
get
2:32
down
2:33
to.
2:33
It
2:33
seems
2:34
like
2:34
the
2:34
timing
2:34
has
2:35
never
2:35
worked,
2:35
but
2:35
I
2:35
got
2:35
to
2:36
make
2:36
it
2:36
a
2:36
priority.
2:36
But
2:37
for
2:37
all
2:37
the
2:38
people
2:38
out
2:38
there
2:39
listening
2:39
that
2:40
are
2:40
going,
2:40
what
2:40
are
2:40
you
2:41
talking
2:41
about?
2:41
High
2:41
Point.
2:42
What
2:42
is
2:42
that?
2:42
Let's
2:43
start
2:43
from
2:43
the
2:43
beginning
2:43
and
2:44
kind
2:44
of
2:44
break
2:44
it
2:44
down.
2:45
Sure.
2:45
Actually,
2:46
High
2:46
Point,
2:46
North
2:47
Carolina,
2:48
is
2:48
the
2:48
largest
2:49
furniture
2:49
market
2:50
in
2:50
the
2:50
country.
2:51
It
2:51
happens
2:52
in
2:52
October
2:53
and
2:53
in
2:53
April,
2:54
and
2:55
it's
2:55
been
2:55
going
2:56
on
2:56
for,
2:57
oh,
2:58
gosh,
2:58
probably
2:59
almost
2:59
100
3:00
years
3:00
on
3:00
some
3:01
level.
3:02
Wow.
3:02
It's
3:03
amazing.
3:03
The
3:04
reason
3:04
why
3:04
it's
3:04
there
3:05
is
3:05
because
3:06
that
3:06
is
3:06
the
3:07
nucleus
3:07
of
3:08
all
3:08
American
3:09
furniture
3:10
manufacturing.
3:11
So,
3:12
like,
3:12
for
3:12
example,
3:12
Hickory
3:13
Chair,
3:13
which
3:13
is
3:13
one
3:14
of
3:14
my
3:14
favorite
3:15
furniture
3:15
brands,
3:16
started
3:17
in
3:17
Hickory,
3:17
North
3:18
Carolina,
3:18
which
3:18
is
3:19
about
3:19
10
3:19
minutes
3:19
away
3:20
from
3:20
High
3:20
Point.
3:21
Stickley
3:22
Furniture,
3:22
is
3:22
there
3:23
Century
3:23
Furniture
3:24
is
3:24
there.
3:25
All
3:25
these
3:25
incredible
3:26
brands,
3:26
simply
3:27
Amish
3:27
shows
3:28
there.
3:29
All
3:29
of
3:29
the
3:29
big
3:29
brands
3:30
in
3:30
the
3:30
entire
3:30
country
3:31
show
3:31
at
3:31
this
3:32
show.
3:32
Lee
3:32
Industries,
3:33
Norwalk
3:34
Furniture,
3:34
everyone.
3:35
Curry
3:35
&
3:36
Co.
3:36
Lighting.
3:36
It's
3:37
beautiful.
3:38
A
3:38
long
3:38
time
3:39
ago,
3:39
way,
3:40
way
3:40
back,
3:41
designers
3:41
weren't
3:42
welcome
3:42
there
3:43
because
3:43
it
3:43
was
3:44
more
3:44
for
3:44
retailers
3:45
and
3:45
their
3:45
reps.
3:46
And
3:46
that's
3:46
when
3:47
they
3:47
got
3:47
their
3:47
business
3:48
done.
3:48
That's
3:48
where
3:49
they
3:49
wrote
3:50
the
3:50
sales
3:50
that
3:50
made
3:51
their
3:51
living.
3:52
And
3:52
it
3:52
was
3:53
very
3:53
difficult
3:54
for
3:55
designers
3:55
to
3:55
break
3:56
in
3:56
because
3:57
the
3:57
volume
3:57
for
3:58
a
3:58
designer
3:58
is
3:58
not
3:59
what
3:59
it
3:59
is
3:59
for
3:59
a
4:00
stocking
4:00
dealer,
4:01
retail
4:02
showroom.
4:03
So
4:03
the
4:03
evolution
4:04
of
4:04
designers
4:05
being
4:05
invited
4:06
has
4:06
been
4:07
long
4:07
arduous,
4:09
but
4:09
I'm
4:09
grateful.
4:10
I
4:10
think
4:10
a
4:11
lot
4:11
of
4:11
it
4:11
too
4:11
is
4:12
learning
4:13
what
4:13
the
4:13
history
4:14
is
4:14
and
4:14
being
4:14
respectful
4:15
of
4:15
that.
4:16
The
4:16
first
4:16
time
4:16
I
4:16
got
4:16
to
4:17
go
4:17
to
4:17
High
4:17
Point,
4:17
I
4:18
went
4:18
with
4:18
Tom
4:18
Slater
4:19
and
4:19
he
4:19
owns
4:20
a
4:20
third
4:21
generation
4:21
fine
4:22
furniture
4:22
store
4:23
here
4:23
in
4:23
California,
4:24
Central
4:24
Valley,
4:24
called
4:24
Slater's
4:25
Home
4:25
Furniture.
4:26
And
4:27
he
4:27
has
4:27
been,
4:28
they've
4:28
been
4:28
there
4:29
for
4:29
over
4:29
100
4:30
years
4:30
and
4:30
celebrating.
4:31
And
4:32
he
4:32
went
4:32
to
4:33
his
4:33
50th
4:34
High
4:35
Point
4:35
Market
4:35
this
4:36
year,
4:36
and
4:36
I
4:37
got
4:37
to
4:37
accompany
4:38
him
4:38
to
4:38
some
4:38
of
4:38
my
4:38
favorite
4:39
showrooms.
4:39
And
4:40
the
4:40
man
4:40
is
4:41
such
4:41
a
4:42
wealth
4:42
of
4:42
knowledge.
4:42
But
4:43
the
4:43
very
4:43
first
4:43
time
4:43
I
4:44
got
4:44
to
4:44
go,
4:44
which
4:44
was
4:45
three
4:45
times
4:45
ago,
4:46
I
4:46
sat
4:47
down
4:47
to
4:47
dinner
4:47
with
4:47
him
4:48
and
4:48
two
4:48
of
4:48
the
4:49
reps
4:49
he's
4:49
been
4:49
working
4:49
with
4:50
forever.
4:51
And
4:51
he's
4:52
sober
4:52
and
4:52
doesn't
4:53
drink,
4:53
but
4:53
the
4:53
two
4:53
reps
4:54
do,
4:54
and
4:54
they
4:55
forgot
4:55
that
4:55
I
4:55
was
4:56
at
4:56
the
4:56
table
4:57
and
4:58
they
4:58
started
4:58
talking
4:59
about
4:59
designers
5:00
and
5:00
they
5:00
called
5:01
us
5:01
desecrators
5:02
because
5:03
we
5:04
destroy
5:04
their
5:05
profitability
5:05
at
5:06
High
5:06
Point
5:06
Market.
5:08
So
5:08
I
5:08
was
5:08
actually
5:09
very
5:09
grateful
5:10
to
5:10
witness
5:11
that
5:11
and
5:11
understand
5:12
that
5:12
because,
5:13
you
5:13
know,
5:13
unless
5:14
you
5:14
hear
5:15
someone,
5:15
you
5:15
know,
5:16
who's
5:16
trying
5:16
to
5:16
make
5:16
a
5:16
living,
5:17
do
5:17
the
5:17
right
5:17
thing,
5:18
really
5:18
express
5:19
their
5:19
honest
5:19
feelings,
5:20
you
5:20
don't
5:20
know
5:20
where
5:20
you
5:20
are.
5:21
So
5:22
I
5:22
feel
5:22
like
5:22
that
5:22
was
5:22
a
5:23
gift.
5:23
And
5:23
so
5:23
I've
5:24
approached
5:24
High
5:24
Point
5:24
Market
5:25
a
5:25
very
5:25
different
5:26
way
5:26
than
5:27
I
5:27
otherwise
5:27
would
5:28
have.
5:28
Probably
5:29
get
5:29
it.
5:30
That's
5:30
the
5:30
long
5:30
story,
5:30
I
5:31
guess.
5:31
Of
5:31
the
5:31
whole
5:32
think
5:32
about
5:32
it.
5:32
You
5:32
know,
5:33
you're
5:33
going
5:33
in
5:33
there,
5:33
thinking
5:33
about,
5:34
I've
5:34
got
5:34
four
5:34
clients
5:35
I'm
5:35
working
5:35
with.
5:35
This
5:36
is
5:36
great.
5:37
And
5:37
maybe
5:37
he's
5:37
walking
5:38
in,
5:38
going,
5:38
I
5:38
need
5:39
12
5:39
semi
5:40
trucks
5:40
for
5:40
three
5:40
locations
5:41
in
5:41
the
5:41
next
5:41
365
5:42
days.
5:43
The
5:44
total
5:44
difference
5:44
of.
5:45
Scale.
5:45
Yes.
5:46
Looking
5:46
for
5:46
volume
5:47
and
5:47
quality.
5:48
And
5:48
you're
5:48
looking
5:48
for
5:49
details.
5:50
Bespoke
5:51
magic
5:51
for
5:52
someone's
5:52
home.
5:53
Different
5:53
customer
5:54
base
5:54
altogether.
5:55
So
5:55
it
5:55
makes
5:55
sense
5:56
from
5:56
the,
5:57
from
5:57
the
5:57
manufacturing
5:58
side,
5:58
maybe
5:58
how
5:58
they
5:59
could
5:59
see.
5:59
That.
6:00
Yeah,
6:00
I
6:00
mean,
6:00
they
6:01
would
6:01
never
6:01
make
6:01
the
6:01
money
6:02
that
6:02
they
6:02
make
6:03
on
6:03
someone
6:04
like
6:04
Tom.
6:04
With
6:04
me,
6:05
it's
6:05
just.
6:05
It's
6:06
more
6:06
about
6:06
just
6:07
being
6:07
together
6:08
in
6:08
the
6:09
business
6:09
of
6:09
design
6:10
and
6:11
being
6:11
appreciative
6:12
of
6:12
all
6:12
opportunities.
6:13
And
6:13
I
6:14
just
6:14
think
6:14
that's
6:14
just
6:14
taken
6:15
a
6:15
little
6:15
while,
6:15
while
6:15
to
6:15
evolve,
6:17
I.
6:17
Bet.
6:17
But
6:17
I
6:17
guess
6:18
you
6:18
get
6:19
to
6:19
see
6:19
all
6:19
the
6:19
latest
6:20
and
6:20
greatest
6:20
stuff
6:21
out
6:21
there
6:21
because,
6:21
you
6:21
know,
6:22
furniture
6:22
trends
6:22
change,
6:23
and
6:23
I'm
6:24
sure
6:24
this
6:24
is
6:24
the
6:24
place.
6:24
Just
6:25
like
6:25
when
6:25
you
6:25
and
6:25
I
6:26
go
6:26
down
6:26
to
6:26
the
6:27
kitchen
6:27
and
6:27
bath
6:27
show,
6:28
we
6:28
get
6:28
to
6:28
see
6:28
the
6:28
latest
6:29
and
6:29
greatest
6:29
stuff.
6:30
You're
6:30
probably
6:30
seeing
6:30
all
6:31
the
6:31
latest
6:31
and
6:31
greatest
6:31
of.
6:32
Okay,
6:32
here's
6:33
our
6:33
new
6:33
styles
6:33
for
6:33
the
6:34
next
6:34
six.
6:34
Months.
6:35
Yes,
6:35
that's
6:36
the.
6:36
Honestly,
6:37
that's
6:37
the
6:37
most
6:37
fun
6:37
thing.
6:38
And
6:38
I
6:38
get
6:39
to
6:39
do
6:39
a
6:39
lot
6:39
of
6:39
designer.
6:40
Oh,
6:40
yeah.
6:41
I
6:42
get
6:42
to
6:42
do
6:42
a
6:42
lot
6:42
of
6:42
writing
6:43
and
6:43
I
6:43
get
6:43
to
6:43
do
6:44
podcasts
6:44
like
6:44
this
6:44
with
6:45
you,
6:45
Eric.
6:45
And
6:46
so
6:46
as
6:46
a
6:46
luxury
6:46
interior
6:47
designer
6:47
who
6:48
also
6:49
promotes
6:50
the
6:50
craft,
6:50
it's
6:51
really
6:51
exciting
6:52
to
6:52
see
6:52
the
6:52
brand
6:53
new
6:53
things
6:53
and
6:53
it
6:53
gets
6:54
your
6:54
wheels
6:54
turning
6:54
for
6:55
what
6:55
might
6:55
be
6:55
coming
6:55
along.
6:56
And
6:57
it's
6:57
also
6:57
fun
6:58
for
6:58
clients
6:58
to
6:58
say,
6:58
I
6:59
was
6:59
just
6:59
at
6:59
High
6:59
Point
7:00
and
7:00
I
7:00
saw
7:00
this
7:00
and
7:01
I
7:01
thought
7:01
of
7:01
you.
7:01
Because
7:03
a
7:03
good
7:03
interior
7:03
designer,
7:04
it
7:04
is
7:04
a
7:04
personal
7:04
relationship
7:05
if
7:05
you're
7:06
doing
7:06
residential.
7:06
And
7:07
it's
7:07
just
7:07
nice
7:07
to
7:07
have
7:08
people
7:08
know
7:08
you
7:08
thought
7:09
about.
7:09
Them.
7:10
Yeah,
7:10
it
7:10
is
7:10
awesome.
7:11
And
7:11
you
7:11
know,
7:11
those
7:11
are
7:12
all
7:12
great
7:12
quality
7:13
furniture
7:13
brands.
7:14
And
7:14
I
7:14
think
7:14
we're
7:14
going
7:15
to
7:15
see
7:15
something
7:15
change
7:16
in
7:16
furniture
7:16
right
7:16
now.
7:17
And
7:17
I
7:17
think
7:18
you're
7:18
seeing
7:19
all
7:19
the
7:19
younger
7:19
kids
7:20
for
7:20
all
7:20
the
7:20
younger
7:21
audience
7:21
people
7:21
out
7:21
there
7:22
that
7:22
are
7:22
getting
7:22
to
7:22
their
7:22
first
7:23
apartment,
7:23
they
7:24
jump
7:24
on
7:24
and
7:24
buy
7:24
a
7:25
couch
7:25
off
7:25
Amazon
7:26
that
7:26
they
7:26
have
7:26
to
7:27
put
7:27
together,
7:27
that
7:27
comes
7:28
in
7:28
with
7:28
these
7:28
little
7:28
sticks
7:29
and
7:29
pads
7:29
and
7:29
put
7:30
together
7:31
that
7:31
might
7:31
make
7:31
it
7:32
through
7:32
moving
7:33
across
7:33
the
7:33
living
7:34
room
7:34
once.
7:35
As
7:35
an
7:35
experienced
7:36
young
7:36
man
7:37
who
7:37
purchased
7:38
several
7:38
of
7:39
those
7:39
items.
7:39
Yes.
7:40
They
7:40
don't
7:40
make
7:40
it
7:41
through
7:41
one
7:41
move.
7:42
A
7:42
lot
7:42
of
7:42
them
7:42
see
7:43
the.
7:43
They
7:43
see
7:44
the
7:44
dumpster
7:44
quickly,
7:45
like
7:46
that's
7:46
just
7:46
broke
7:47
and
7:47
it's
7:47
not
7:47
fixing.
7:48
So.
7:49
And
7:49
they
7:49
don't
7:49
work.
7:50
And
7:50
I've
7:50
seen
7:50
this
7:50
happen.
7:51
And
7:51
all
7:51
of
7:51
a
7:51
sudden
7:52
I
7:52
think
7:52
we're
7:52
seeing.
7:52
With
7:53
people
7:53
being
7:53
a
7:53
little
7:54
bit
7:54
more
7:54
conscious
7:55
of
7:55
throwing
7:56
things
7:56
away,
7:57
I
7:57
think
7:57
we're
7:57
going
7:57
to
7:57
see
7:58
a
7:58
re
7:58
resurgence
7:59
of
7:59
made
8:00
in
8:00
America
8:01
quality
8:01
stuff
8:02
because
8:02
people
8:02
have
8:02
been
8:03
dealing
8:03
with
8:04
fast
8:04
fashion,
8:05
fast
8:05
furniture
8:06
like
8:06
that.
8:07
That
8:08
is
8:08
exactly
8:09
what
8:09
it
8:09
is.
8:09
It's
8:10
fast,
8:10
it's
8:10
not
8:11
amazing.
8:12
And
8:12
people
8:12
are
8:12
tired
8:13
of
8:13
buying
8:13
things
8:13
that
8:13
they
8:14
throw
8:14
away
8:14
in
8:14
18
8:15
months.
8:15
And
8:16
I
8:16
think
8:16
we're.
8:16
I
8:16
think
8:17
we're
8:17
on
8:17
A
8:17
cusp
8:18
of
8:18
seeing
8:18
maybe
8:18
a
8:18
generational
8:19
shift
8:20
of
8:20
going
8:20
back
8:21
to
8:21
quality
8:22
that
8:22
they
8:22
can
8:23
buy
8:23
and
8:23
own.
8:23
Once.
8:24
Be
8:24
nice,
8:25
but
8:25
you're
8:26
not
8:26
going
8:26
to
8:26
afford
8:26
a
8:26
Stickly
8:27
at
8:27
20
8:27
years
8:28
old.
8:29
I'm
8:29
just
8:29
saying,
8:30
to
8:30
be.
8:30
Fair.
8:31
But
8:31
it
8:31
doesn't
8:31
mean,
8:31
coming
8:32
from
8:32
High
8:32
Point,
8:32
that
8:33
it
8:33
all
8:33
has
8:33
to
8:33
be
8:33
massively
8:34
expensive
8:34
though,
8:34
either.
8:35
There
8:35
are
8:35
brand
8:36
that
8:36
are
8:36
solid,
8:37
American
8:37
built.
8:38
It's
8:38
not
8:38
a.
8:38
All
8:39
right,
8:39
That's
8:39
a
8:39
beautiful
8:40
$150,000.
8:41
Couch.
8:42
No,
8:42
you
8:43
and
8:43
I
8:43
think
8:43
what
8:44
was
8:44
really
8:44
great
8:45
that
8:45
I
8:45
was
8:45
encouraged
8:46
by
8:46
both
8:47
Century
8:47
Furniture
8:48
and
8:48
Norwalk
8:49
Furniture
8:49
recognize
8:50
the
8:51
need
8:51
for
8:52
people
8:52
who
8:52
are
8:52
just
8:53
entering
8:53
adulting
8:55
to
8:55
have
8:55
something
8:56
beautiful
8:56
that
8:56
will
8:57
last,
8:57
but
8:57
that
8:58
is
8:58
not
8:58
a
8:59
$6,000
9:00
sofa.
9:01
And
9:01
so
9:01
both
9:01
of
9:01
them
9:02
have
9:03
evolved
9:03
these
9:03
two
9:04
separate
9:04
lines.
9:04
They're
9:05
under
9:05
the
9:05
umbrella
9:06
of
9:06
these
9:06
larger
9:07
companies.
9:07
They're
9:08
still
9:08
quality
9:09
and
9:09
very
9:09
nicely
9:10
done.
9:10
They
9:10
have
9:11
a
9:11
limited
9:11
fabric
9:12
selection
9:12
and
9:13
a
9:13
limited
9:13
finish
9:14
selection,
9:15
so
9:16
it
9:16
helps
9:16
them
9:16
be
9:16
more
9:17
efficient
9:17
in
9:17
manufacturing.
9:19
But
9:19
you
9:19
still
9:19
have
9:20
a
9:20
beautiful
9:20
product.
9:21
And
9:22
it's
9:22
a
9:22
lot
9:22
of
9:22
fun
9:22
for
9:22
me
9:23
because
9:23
especially
9:24
with
9:24
Norwalk.
9:25
My
9:25
friends
9:26
Sarah
9:26
and
9:26
Emma
9:27
have
9:27
a
9:27
retail
9:27
store
9:28
here
9:28
called
9:28
Sweet
9:28
52
9:29
Living.
9:30
So
9:30
they
9:30
have
9:31
the
9:31
flagship
9:32
Norwalk
9:33
upholstery
9:34
on
9:34
their
9:35
first
9:35
floor
9:36
level
9:36
and
9:37
then
9:37
their
9:37
fabric
9:38
library
9:38
and
9:39
this
9:39
other
9:39
line
9:40
that's
9:40
much
9:40
more
9:40
approachable
9:41
in
9:41
terms
9:41
of
9:41
price
9:42
Point
9:42
is
9:42
upstairs.
9:43
And
9:43
they
9:44
have
9:44
beautiful
9:45
forms
9:46
and
9:46
they
9:46
have
9:47
great
9:47
construction.
9:48
It's
9:48
a
9:48
more
9:49
youthful
9:49
look.
9:50
It's
9:50
maybe
9:51
a
9:51
little
9:51
more
9:51
petite
9:52
because
9:52
you
9:52
don't
9:52
have
9:52
these
9:53
sprawling
9:53
homes
9:53
when
9:54
you're
9:54
just
9:54
getting
9:54
going.
9:55
So,
9:56
like,
9:56
the
9:56
arms
9:56
are
9:57
a
9:57
little
9:57
more
9:57
narrow,
9:58
but
9:58
the
9:59
sit
9:59
and
10:00
the
10:00
pitch
10:00
and
10:01
the
10:01
things
10:01
that
10:01
really
10:02
make
10:02
a
10:02
piece
10:03
quality
10:03
are
10:04
definitely
10:04
there.
10:04
And
10:05
it's
10:05
really
10:05
exciting
10:06
because,
10:07
you
10:07
know,
10:07
sometimes
10:08
you
10:08
want
10:08
to
10:08
specify
10:09
a
10:09
beautiful
10:09
room,
10:10
but
10:10
then
10:10
you
10:10
add
10:10
up
10:11
the
10:11
contents
10:11
of
10:11
what
10:12
it
10:12
is
10:12
and
10:12
you
10:12
just.
10:13
Even
10:13
for
10:14
me,
10:14
you
10:14
know,
10:15
I
10:15
think,
10:15
oh,
10:15
gee.
10:16
So
10:16
it's
10:17
nice
10:17
because
10:17
I'll
10:18
be
10:18
able
10:18
to
10:19
offer
10:19
something
10:19
really
10:20
quality
10:20
and
10:20
beautiful
10:21
with
10:21
a
10:22
clean
10:22
conscious
10:23
as.
10:23
Well.
10:24
No,
10:24
that's.
10:24
Smart.
10:26
Affordable
10:26
luxury,
10:27
I
10:27
think,
10:27
is
10:27
something
10:27
that's
10:28
really
10:28
nice.
10:28
And
10:29
when
10:29
people
10:30
are
10:30
working
10:30
hard
10:30
and
10:30
they
10:30
want
10:31
to
10:31
come
10:31
home
10:31
and
10:31
just
10:31
relax,
10:32
you
10:33
know,
10:33
that's
10:33
where
10:33
you
10:34
really
10:34
get.
10:34
Elevate
10:35
that.
10:35
Because
10:35
they
10:35
come
10:36
home,
10:36
sit
10:36
down,
10:36
and
10:37
they
10:37
forget
10:38
they're
10:38
in
10:38
a.
10:38
That
10:39
they're
10:39
in
10:39
an
10:39
inexpensive
10:40
couch
10:40
and
10:40
they're
10:40
going,
10:41
oh,
10:41
man,
10:41
this
10:41
thing's
10:41
not
10:42
comfortable.
10:42
I
10:43
wish
10:43
I
10:43
would
10:43
have
10:43
spent
10:43
a
10:43
little
10:43
bit
10:44
more.
10:44
They
10:45
can
10:45
get
10:45
it,
10:45
enjoy
10:46
it.
10:46
It's
10:46
durable.
10:47
It's
10:48
not
10:48
going
10:48
to
10:48
just
10:48
fall
10:49
apart
10:49
on
10:49
them.
10:49
And
10:50
it's
10:50
better
10:50
for
10:50
the
10:50
environment.
10:51
Plus
10:51
with
10:51
the
10:52
tariffs
10:52
and
10:52
everything
10:52
else
10:53
that's
10:53
happening
10:53
out
10:53
there
10:54
with
10:55
furniture,
10:55
cabinetry,
10:56
everything.
10:56
Else.
10:57
Oh,
10:57
he
10:58
hit
10:58
the
10:58
button.
10:58
He
10:59
hit
10:59
the.
10:59
Button.
11:00
What?
11:00
I'm
11:01
so.
11:01
Sorry.
11:01
There
11:02
it.
11:02
Is.
11:03
I
11:04
know.
11:04
It.
11:04
You
11:05
guys
11:05
have
11:05
been
11:05
trying
11:05
to
11:06
save
11:06
my
11:06
clients
11:07
money
11:07
for
11:07
a
11:07
year.
11:08
Yeah,
11:08
since
11:09
last,
11:09
no,
11:11
13
11:11
months.
11:11
Since
11:12
last
11:12
November.
11:12
I've
11:13
been
11:13
trying
11:13
to
11:13
say,
11:13
tariffs
11:14
are
11:14
coming.
11:14
Tariffs
11:14
are
11:15
coming.
11:15
Tariffs
11:16
are
11:16
coming.
11:16
Tariffs
11:16
are
11:16
coming.
11:16
Can
11:17
you
11:17
please
11:17
buy
11:17
this?
11:17
Can
11:17
you
11:18
please
11:18
buy
11:18
that?
11:18
Tariffs
11:18
are
11:19
coming.
11:19
Did
11:19
you
11:19
know
11:19
that?
11:19
Tariffs
11:20
are
11:20
coming.
11:20
Tariffs
11:21
are
11:21
coming.
11:21
Can
11:21
we
11:21
buy
11:22
all
11:22
your
11:22
appliances?
11:22
Can
11:22
we
11:23
please
11:23
get
11:23
all
11:23
your
11:23
lighting
11:24
now?
11:24
Tariffs
11:24
are
11:24
coming.
11:25
Like
11:26
I
11:26
aged
11:26
like
11:27
3
11:27
years
11:27
and
11:28
13.
11:28
Months.
11:29
It's
11:29
like
11:29
Paul
11:30
Revere.
11:30
The
11:30
Paul
11:30
Revere
11:31
of
11:31
designers.
11:32
Actually.
11:33
Yeah,
11:36
you're
11:36
totally
11:37
right.
11:37
I
11:37
know
11:37
there
11:37
is.
11:38
It
11:38
was.
11:38
Can
11:38
you
11:38
tell?
11:38
Yeah,
11:39
panic.
11:39
Sorry.
11:39
I'm
11:40
just
11:40
going
11:40
to
11:40
collect
11:41
myself
11:42
right
11:42
off
11:42
the.
11:42
Bat.
11:43
Wendy,
11:43
I
11:43
got
11:43
you
11:43
right
11:43
off
11:44
the
11:44
bat.
11:44
But
11:44
that's
11:44
the
11:45
thing,
11:45
you
11:45
know,
11:45
and,
11:46
and
11:46
I've
11:46
been
11:46
claiming
11:46
it
11:47
on
11:47
here
11:47
as
11:47
well,
11:47
going,
11:48
hey,
11:48
guys,
11:48
you
11:48
know,
11:49
okay,
11:49
now
11:49
we
11:49
have
11:50
cabinetry
11:50
and
11:51
furniture
11:52
parts
11:52
that
11:52
are
11:52
doing
11:52
that
11:52
out
11:53
there.
11:54
And
11:54
great
11:54
example.
11:55
A
11:55
few
11:55
weeks
11:56
from
11:56
now,
11:57
you
11:57
know,
11:57
just
11:58
what,
11:58
maybe
11:58
a
11:58
month
11:58
ago,
11:59
the
11:59
hardwood
11:59
flooring
12:00
industry
12:00
came
12:00
out
12:00
and
12:01
said,
12:01
hey,
12:01
can
12:01
you
12:01
do
12:01
the
12:01
same
12:01
thing
12:02
for
12:02
us?
12:02
And
12:03
all
12:03
of
12:03
the
12:04
hardwood
12:04
floors
12:05
are
12:05
being,
12:05
they're
12:05
being
12:05
asked
12:06
to
12:06
be
12:06
put
12:06
on
12:06
with
12:06
all
12:07
those
12:07
things
12:07
that
12:08
industry
12:08
is
12:08
asking
12:08
for.
12:09
It.
12:09
Oh,
12:09
that
12:09
happened
12:09
in
12:10
the
12:10
spring
12:10
too.
12:11
That's
12:11
happened
12:11
twice
12:12
this
12:12
year
12:12
actually.
12:13
So
12:13
we've
12:13
seen
12:13
about
12:13
a
12:14
50%
12:14
increase.
12:15
Eric.
12:15
Yeah.
12:16
Yes.
12:18
What
12:18
was
12:18
that?
12:18
That
12:19
was.
12:19
The.
12:19
What's
12:19
50amongst.
12:21
Friends?
12:22
Yeah.
12:22
It's
12:22
so
12:23
hard.
12:23
And
12:23
I
12:23
feel
12:23
bad
12:24
because,
12:24
you
12:24
know,
12:25
Wendy,
12:25
you're
12:25
out
12:25
there
12:25
trying
12:26
to
12:26
do
12:26
this
12:26
with
12:26
clients
12:27
and
12:27
they
12:27
have
12:27
a.
12:28
And
12:28
here's
12:28
the
12:29
one
12:29
thing,
12:29
I
12:29
want
12:29
to
12:29
get
12:29
this
12:29
myth
12:30
out
12:30
of
12:30
the
12:30
way
12:30
as
12:30
we're
12:30
talking
12:31
High
12:31
Point.
12:32
Every
12:32
project
12:32
has
12:33
a
12:33
budget.
12:34
Just
12:34
because
12:34
it's
12:34
a
12:35
five
12:35
million
12:35
dollar
12:36
house
12:37
absolutely
12:38
does
12:38
not
12:38
mean
12:38
that
12:39
it
12:39
has
12:39
no
12:39
budget.
12:39
Because
12:40
these
12:40
people
12:40
have
12:41
$5
12:41
million
12:41
because
12:42
they've
12:42
worked
12:42
with
12:42
budgets
12:42
their
12:43
entire.
14:31
Life.
14:32
And
14:32
it's
14:32
a,
14:33
it's
14:33
selective.
14:34
I
14:34
mean,
14:35
and
14:35
I'm
14:35
sure
14:35
John
14:35
can
14:36
attest
14:36
to
14:36
this.
14:37
Working
14:37
with
14:37
clients
14:38
for
14:38
as
14:38
long
14:38
as
14:38
he
14:39
has
14:39
and
14:39
working
14:39
with
14:39
you,
14:40
Eric,
14:40
as
14:40
a
14:40
designer,
14:41
I
14:42
know
14:42
what
14:43
I
14:43
feel
14:44
is
14:44
a
14:44
priority
14:45
to
14:45
spend
14:45
your
14:45
money
14:46
on
14:46
because
14:47
of
14:47
value
14:48
over
14:48
time
14:48
and
14:49
what
14:49
is
14:49
going
14:50
to
14:50
last.
14:50
Like
14:50
the
14:50
investments
14:51
that
14:51
will
14:51
last
14:52
in
14:53
a
14:53
home
14:53
if
14:53
you're
14:53
building
14:53
it,
14:54
or
14:54
the
14:54
investments
14:55
that
14:55
are
14:55
wasteful.
14:56
So
14:57
I
14:57
do
14:57
a
14:57
lot
14:57
of
14:57
high,
14:58
low,
14:58
high,
14:58
low,
14:58
high,
14:59
low.
14:59
And
15:00
I'm
15:00
really
15:00
careful
15:01
about
15:01
where
15:02
I
15:02
ask
15:02
to
15:03
go
15:03
big
15:04
in
15:04
terms
15:04
of.
15:04
Budget.
15:06
I
15:06
just
15:06
did
15:06
an
15:07
episode
15:07
on
15:07
basically
15:08
that
15:08
like
15:09
don't
15:10
put
15:10
zebra
15:10
tile
15:11
everywhere
15:11
just
15:12
because
15:12
you.
15:12
Can.
15:13
No,
15:14
don't
15:14
do.
15:14
That.
15:15
Oh
15:15
my
15:15
gosh.
15:16
Okay,
15:16
Wendy,
15:17
I
15:17
gotta
15:17
tell
15:17
you
15:17
this
15:17
story.
15:18
This
15:18
was
15:19
quick
15:19
story.
15:20
We're
15:20
gonna
15:20
go
15:20
on
15:20
a
15:20
little
15:21
side
15:22
rabbit.
15:22
Hole.
15:23
Okay.
15:23
I'm.
15:23
Excited.
15:24
I
15:25
want
15:25
to
15:25
get
15:25
back
15:25
to
15:25
Wendy.
15:26
Because.
15:26
No,
15:26
no.
15:27
I
15:27
want
15:27
to
15:27
hear.
15:27
This
15:30
serious
15:30
disposition
15:31
right.
15:31
There.
15:32
Tell
15:33
a
15:33
zebra
15:33
story.
15:33
That
15:34
just
15:34
is
15:34
funny.
15:34
So
15:35
I
15:35
was
15:35
with
15:35
my
15:36
buddy
15:36
Ty,
15:36
we
15:36
were
15:37
going
15:37
through
15:37
the.
15:38
In
15:38
eastern
15:38
Washington,
15:39
their
15:39
parade
15:39
of
15:39
homes.
15:40
Okay.
15:41
Beautiful
15:42
10
15:42
mile
15:42
view
15:43
from
15:43
these
15:43
homes
15:43
on
15:43
the
15:43
top
15:44
of
15:44
the
15:44
hill
15:44
here.
15:45
And
15:45
the
15:46
people
15:46
next
15:46
door
15:46
to
15:47
the
15:47
parade
15:47
house
15:47
had
15:48
the
15:48
house
15:48
up
15:48
for
15:48
sale.
15:49
And
15:49
it
15:49
was
15:50
like
15:50
smart
15:50
to
15:50
have
15:50
your
15:50
open
15:51
house
15:51
at
15:51
the
15:51
same
15:51
time
15:52
as
15:52
the
15:52
parade
15:52
of
15:52
homes
15:53
next
15:53
door.
15:54
Yeah,
15:54
it
15:54
was
15:54
one
15:54
of
15:55
those
15:55
where
15:55
you
15:55
drive
15:55
around
15:55
and
15:56
see
15:56
the
15:56
homes.
15:56
I
15:57
walked
15:57
in
15:58
and
15:58
I
15:58
could
15:59
see
15:59
that
15:59
somebody
16:00
went
16:00
to
16:00
a
16:00
manufacturer
16:01
overseas
16:02
and
16:02
said,
16:02
I
16:03
need
16:03
a
16:03
container
16:04
and
16:04
a
16:04
half
16:05
of
16:05
the
16:05
exact
16:06
Same
16:07
large
16:07
format.
16:08
30
16:09
inch
16:09
by
16:09
30
16:10
inch
16:10
tiles
16:11
that
16:11
are
16:12
black
16:12
and
16:12
white
16:12
zebra.
16:13
Striped.
16:13
Because
16:15
she
16:15
thought
16:15
I
16:15
was.
16:16
She
16:16
thought
16:16
I
16:16
was.
16:17
Kidding.
16:17
6,000
16:18
square
16:19
foot
16:19
house
16:19
with
16:20
the
16:20
same
16:20
tile
16:21
on
16:21
the
16:22
floors,
16:23
the
16:23
backsplashes,
16:24
the
16:24
side
16:25
of
16:25
the
16:25
wall
16:25
when
16:25
you
16:25
walk
16:26
in
16:26
the
16:26
entryway.
16:27
And
16:28
if
16:28
you
16:28
were
16:28
going
16:29
to
16:29
ever
16:30
make
16:30
a
16:30
meme
16:31
or
16:31
a
16:31
video
16:31
of
16:32
when
16:32
something
16:32
is
16:32
too
16:33
much,
16:34
people
16:34
would
16:34
have
16:34
thought
16:34
this
16:35
was
16:35
AI
16:36
and
16:36
it
16:37
was
16:37
a
16:37
$4
16:37
million
16:38
house
16:38
that
16:38
I
16:38
looked
16:39
at
16:39
and
16:39
went,
16:39
I'm
16:39
going
16:39
to
16:40
spend
16:40
a
16:40
million
16:40
dollars
16:41
just
16:41
removing
16:42
tile
16:42
off
16:42
of
16:43
every.
16:43
Surface.
16:44
Was
16:44
it
16:44
a
16:45
slab.
16:45
Foundation?
16:46
No,
16:47
it
16:47
was
16:47
all.
16:48
I
16:48
mean
16:48
this
16:48
was.
16:48
This
16:49
had
16:49
a
16:49
basement,
16:50
it
16:50
had
16:50
everything.
16:51
So
16:51
it
16:51
was
16:52
just
16:53
so
16:53
demo.
16:53
On
16:53
a
16:54
raise
16:54
foundations
16:54
really.
16:55
Hard.
16:55
It
16:55
was,
16:56
it
16:56
was
16:56
on
16:56
the
16:56
walls,
16:57
it
16:57
was
16:57
on
16:57
the.
16:57
It
16:58
was
16:58
all
16:58
in
16:58
the
16:58
shower.
16:59
It
16:59
just
16:59
went.
17:00
Everywhere.
17:00
Was
17:01
it
17:01
a
17:01
spec.
17:01
House?
17:02
No.
17:02
These
17:03
people
17:03
were
17:03
living
17:04
in
17:04
San
17:04
Francisco,
17:05
wanted
17:06
to
17:06
live
17:06
up
17:06
there,
17:07
built
17:07
this
17:07
custom
17:08
house
17:08
and
17:08
then
17:09
realized
17:09
they
17:09
didn't
17:09
want
17:10
to
17:10
move
17:10
there
17:10
when
17:10
it
17:10
was
17:11
done
17:11
and
17:11
were.
17:11
Selling.
17:12
Yeah,
17:12
because
17:12
it'll
17:12
make
17:13
you.
17:13
Anxious.
17:13
You
17:14
know,
17:14
it's
17:14
full
17:14
of
17:14
zebras
17:15
everywhere.
17:16
So
17:16
anyway,
17:17
it
17:17
was
17:17
like
17:17
somebody
17:18
took
17:19
really
17:19
inexpensive
17:20
white
17:21
porcelain
17:21
tile
17:22
and
17:22
then
17:22
did
17:22
black
17:23
stripes
17:23
in
17:24
every
17:24
which
17:24
way
17:24
because
17:25
they
17:25
didn't
17:25
align
17:25
anything
17:26
up.
17:26
It
17:26
was
17:27
just,
17:27
man,
17:28
you
17:28
needed
17:28
medication
17:29
to
17:29
be
17:29
in
17:29
that
17:29
room,
17:30
in
17:30
that
17:30
house.
17:30
It
17:30
was
17:30
crazy.
17:31
But
17:31
it
17:31
had
17:31
a
17:31
great
17:32
view.
17:33
So
17:33
had
17:34
a.
17:34
Great.
17:34
Directly
17:35
speaks
17:35
to
17:35
the
17:35
budgeting
17:36
Issues
17:36
you
17:36
were
17:36
just
17:37
talking
17:37
about
17:38
don't
17:38
go
17:38
big
17:38
on
17:38
the
17:39
zebra.
17:39
Tile.
17:40
Yeah.
17:41
Couldn't
17:41
you
17:41
put
17:42
like
17:42
a
17:42
really
17:42
high
17:43
quality
17:44
luxury
17:44
vinyl
17:45
plank
17:45
over
17:45
the
17:46
top
17:46
of
17:46
the
17:46
tile?
17:46
Like
17:47
you
17:47
could
17:47
float
17:47
over
17:47
the
17:47
tile
17:48
and
17:48
then
17:48
you
17:48
could
17:48
put
17:49
good.
17:49
Yes.
17:50
Like
17:50
the
17:50
wide
17:50
plank
17:51
and
17:51
then
17:51
do
17:52
really
17:52
beautiful
17:52
thick
17:53
baseboards
17:53
and
17:54
then
17:54
you
17:54
could
17:54
just
17:54
demo
17:55
the
17:55
backsplashes
17:56
and
17:56
the
17:56
showers
17:57
and.
17:57
Stuff.
17:57
You
17:58
could,
17:58
but
17:58
it
17:58
was
17:58
just.
17:59
Because
17:59
all
17:59
that
18:00
tile
18:00
went.
18:00
Whoa.
18:01
And
18:01
my
18:01
buddy
18:01
who's
18:02
the
18:02
contractor
18:02
went,
18:03
whoa.
18:04
And
18:04
the
18:04
realtor
18:05
is
18:05
there.
18:05
And
18:05
the
18:05
realtor
18:06
kind
18:06
of
18:06
walks
18:06
off
18:06
for
18:06
a
18:06
second.
18:07
He
18:07
goes,
18:07
can
18:07
you
18:07
imagine
18:08
what
18:08
demo's
18:08
going
18:09
to
18:09
be
18:09
on
18:09
this
18:09
place
18:09
when
18:09
you
18:09
have
18:10
to
18:10
fix
18:10
it?
18:10
And
18:11
that
18:11
was
18:11
the
18:11
first
18:11
word
18:11
out
18:11
of
18:12
his
18:12
face,
18:12
out
18:12
of
18:12
his
18:12
mouth.
18:13
And
18:13
I'm
18:13
like,
18:13
you
18:13
and
18:13
I
18:14
are
18:14
on
18:14
the
18:14
same.
18:14
Page.
18:15
Wow.
18:16
Needed
18:16
to
18:16
hire
18:17
a
18:17
designer
18:17
is
18:17
what
18:17
they
18:17
needed
18:18
to.
18:18
Do.
18:18
But
18:19
they
18:19
may.
18:19
Have.
18:19
Not
18:20
all
18:20
designers
18:20
would
18:21
say
18:21
no
18:21
to
18:21
that.
18:21
I
18:21
mean,
18:22
it.
18:22
Just.
18:24
That
18:24
was
18:24
a
18:24
very
18:25
mild
18:25
heckle
18:26
I
18:26
threw
18:26
in
18:27
there,
18:27
but
18:28
I
18:28
got
18:29
agreeance
18:30
from
18:30
a
18:31
top
18:31
luxury.
18:32
Designer.
18:32
So
18:33
it.
18:33
Depends.
18:33
I
18:34
mean,
18:34
there's
18:34
some
18:35
credibility
18:35
to
18:35
the.
18:36
Heckle.
18:37
Yeah.
18:37
There's
18:37
a
18:37
designer
18:38
for.
18:38
Everyone.
18:39
Yes.
18:39
And
18:39
every.
18:40
Aesthetic.
18:41
Yep.
18:41
That's.
18:41
Good.
18:42
Including.
18:43
Prince.
18:44
I
18:44
would
18:44
not
18:44
be
18:44
a
18:45
good
18:45
designer
18:45
for
18:45
that
18:46
particular
18:47
couple.
18:47
Probably.
18:48
Same,
18:49
same.
18:50
So.
18:50
But
18:50
that's.
18:51
Okay.
18:51
Return
18:51
us
18:52
back
18:52
to
18:52
the
18:52
conversation
18:53
now
18:53
that.
18:53
I've.
18:54
Oh.
18:55
Oh.
18:55
Yeah.
18:56
High
18:56
point.
18:57
That's
18:57
the
18:57
thing,
18:57
you
18:57
know,
18:58
putting
18:58
in
18:58
quality
18:59
stuff,
18:59
design
19:00
with,
19:00
you
19:00
know,
19:00
we
19:00
were
19:01
talking
19:01
tariffs
19:02
and
19:02
all
19:02
of
19:02
those
19:02
challenges.
19:03
It
19:03
has
19:03
been
19:04
a
19:04
tough
19:04
year
19:04
for
19:04
everyone
19:05
out
19:05
there,
19:06
and
19:06
I
19:06
think
19:06
this
19:07
next
19:07
year,
19:08
I
19:08
hope
19:08
is
19:09
going
19:09
to
19:09
be
19:09
a
19:09
little
19:09
better,
19:10
but
19:10
it's
19:10
not.
19:11
There's
19:11
not
19:12
a
19:12
rosy
19:12
horizon
19:13
yet.
19:13
And
19:13
I'm
19:13
looking
19:14
forward
19:14
to
19:14
seeing
19:14
that.
19:14
Someday.
19:15
I
19:16
think
19:16
you
19:16
have
19:16
to
19:16
make
19:16
your
19:16
own
19:17
rosy.
19:17
Horizon.
19:18
Yeah,
19:18
I
19:19
like
19:19
this
19:19
gal.
19:20
There
19:20
you
19:21
go.
19:21
I
19:22
spend
19:22
too
19:22
much
19:22
time
19:22
with.
19:23
Him.
19:23
I
19:24
think,
19:24
honestly,
19:25
I
19:25
mean,
19:25
this
19:25
year
19:25
has
19:26
taught
19:26
me
19:27
because
19:27
people
19:28
say
19:28
we
19:28
don't
19:28
know
19:28
what's
19:29
happening,
19:29
everything's
19:30
out
19:30
of
19:30
control,
19:31
but
19:32
really
19:32
in
19:33
life,
19:34
you
19:34
don't
19:34
know
19:35
what's
19:35
happening
19:35
and
19:35
everything
19:35
is
19:36
out
19:36
of
19:36
control
19:37
always.
19:38
At
19:38
any
19:38
moment,
19:39
anything
19:39
could
19:40
change.
19:41
Anything
19:42
can
19:43
uproot
19:43
an
19:44
idea
19:44
or
19:44
a
19:45
relationship
19:46
or
19:46
a
19:46
home
19:47
or
19:47
a.
19:48
I
19:48
mean,
19:49
day
19:49
to
19:49
day,
19:49
we
19:49
don't
19:50
really
19:50
know.
19:50
And
19:51
I
19:51
think
19:51
it
19:51
kind
19:52
of
19:52
has
19:52
to
19:52
be
19:53
a
19:54
choice
19:55
to
19:56
be
19:56
optimistic
19:58
and
19:58
to
19:59
bring
19:59
a
19:59
joyful
20:00
attitude
20:01
to
20:01
your
20:01
client
20:02
and
20:02
to
20:02
the
20:02
job
20:02
site
20:04
to
20:04
demonstrate
20:04
good
20:05
stewardship.
20:05
Always,
20:06
never,
20:07
ever
20:08
abandon
20:09
that.
20:09
Even
20:09
in
20:10
the.
20:10
Even
20:10
when
20:10
everything
20:11
looks
20:11
all
20:11
good
20:11
and
20:12
rosy
20:12
and
20:12
Shiny.
20:13
You
20:14
still
20:14
want
20:14
to
20:14
be
20:16
responsible.
20:17
And
20:17
responsibility
20:18
all
20:18
in
20:18
the
20:18
same.
20:18
Thing.
20:19
Yeah.
20:19
I
20:19
mean,
20:20
it's
20:20
a
20:20
privilege
20:20
to
20:21
do
20:21
what
20:21
you
20:21
and
20:21
I
20:22
do
20:22
and
20:22
to
20:22
be
20:22
able
20:23
to
20:23
do
20:23
what
20:23
John
20:23
does,
20:24
to
20:24
work
20:24
with
20:24
families
20:25
and
20:25
work
20:25
with
20:25
individuals
20:26
who
20:26
want
20:27
a
20:27
beautiful
20:27
home.
20:28
And
20:28
that's
20:29
not
20:29
a
20:29
bad
20:29
way
20:29
to
20:29
make
20:30
a
20:30
living.
20:30
Is
20:31
it
20:31
going
20:31
to
20:31
be
20:32
challenging
20:32
some
20:33
days
20:33
more
20:33
than
20:33
others?
20:34
Yes.
20:34
But
20:35
that's
20:35
just
20:35
true
20:36
anyway,
20:37
so,
20:37
I
20:38
mean,
20:38
I
20:39
just
20:39
don't
20:39
want
20:39
to
20:39
live
20:39
under
20:40
a
20:40
dark
20:40
cloud
20:40
all
20:41
the
20:41
time.
20:41
I
20:41
don't
20:41
think
20:41
that's
20:42
sustainable.
20:42
And
20:43
you
20:43
certainly
20:43
can't
20:43
be
20:44
creative
20:44
that
20:44
way.
20:45
It
20:45
really
20:45
crushes
20:46
your
20:46
creative.
20:46
Spirit.
20:47
So
20:48
I
20:48
love
20:49
everything
20:49
that
20:50
you're
20:50
saying
20:51
because
20:51
I
20:51
really
20:52
try
20:52
to
20:52
stick
20:52
to
20:53
my
20:53
five
20:53
foot
20:54
circle
20:54
that
20:54
I
20:55
actually
20:55
can
20:55
control.
20:56
Whatever
20:56
I
20:56
can
20:57
reach,
20:58
I
20:58
can
20:58
write.
20:59
I
20:59
got
20:59
that.
21:00
But
21:00
the
21:00
main
21:01
thing
21:01
I
21:01
control
21:03
is
21:03
my
21:03
perspective
21:04
and
21:04
my
21:04
attitude.
21:05
And
21:05
like
21:06
you
21:06
said,
21:06
we
21:06
don't
21:07
know
21:07
every
21:08
day
21:08
is
21:08
a
21:08
guess,
21:09
we
21:09
don't
21:09
know
21:09
plan.
21:10
We
21:11
have
21:11
ideas
21:11
of
21:11
how
21:12
it
21:12
should
21:12
be.
21:12
But
21:13
in
21:13
the
21:14
stewardship,
21:14
in
21:15
providing
21:16
a
21:16
beautiful
21:16
home
21:17
for
21:17
people
21:17
like
21:18
as
21:18
a
21:19
contractor
21:20
and
21:20
Eric
21:21
can
21:21
attest.
21:21
And
21:22
I'm
21:22
still
21:22
the
21:22
same
21:22
way
21:22
with
21:23
my
21:23
newer
21:23
business.
21:25
I
21:25
love
21:25
doing
21:25
good
21:25
things
21:26
with
21:26
good
21:26
people
21:27
for
21:27
the
21:27
right
21:27
reasons.
21:28
And
21:29
when
21:29
I
21:29
get
21:29
some
21:30
lady
21:30
dancing
21:30
in
21:31
her
21:31
kitchen
21:31
and
21:31
crying,
21:32
oh,
21:32
it's
21:32
so
21:32
beautiful,
21:33
that's
21:33
way
21:34
bigger
21:34
payoff
21:35
than
21:35
any
21:35
check
21:36
you're
21:36
gonna
21:36
write
21:36
me.
21:37
That
21:37
agreed
21:38
is
21:38
why
21:38
I
21:38
did
21:38
it
21:39
for
21:39
25
21:39
years.
21:39
Like
21:40
I.
21:41
You
21:41
can't
21:41
beat
21:41
that.
21:42
I
21:42
get
21:42
goosebumps
21:43
talking
21:43
about
21:43
it.
21:43
It's
21:44
it.
21:44
Yeah.
21:45
Yep.
21:46
Yeah.
21:47
Love
21:47
what
21:47
you're
21:47
saying,
21:48
Wendy.
21:48
That's
21:48
what
21:48
I'm.
21:49
Trying.
21:49
I
21:49
love
21:49
what
21:49
you're
21:49
saying.
21:50
Are
21:50
you
21:50
sure
21:50
you
21:50
don't
21:51
want
21:51
to
21:51
do
21:51
more
21:51
work
21:51
here.
21:52
Wendy?
21:53
The
21:53
funny
21:53
thing
21:53
is
21:53
too
21:53
is
21:54
you
21:54
think
21:54
about
21:54
it
21:55
and
21:55
we
21:55
go
21:55
back
21:55
in
21:55
history
21:55
when,
21:57
when
21:57
gas
21:57
prices
21:57
would
21:57
all
21:58
of
21:58
a
21:58
sudden
21:58
blast
21:58
up.
21:59
All
21:59
of
21:59
a
21:59
sudden
21:59
we
21:59
had
22:00
shipping
22:01
surcharges
22:02
and
22:02
things
22:02
like
22:02
that.
22:03
So,
22:03
you
22:03
know,
22:03
every
22:04
handful
22:04
of
22:04
years
22:05
in
22:05
this
22:05
career,
22:05
I've
22:06
noticed
22:06
that
22:06
there's
22:06
always
22:07
been
22:07
some
22:07
kind
22:07
of
22:08
a
22:08
challenge.
22:08
There's
22:08
been
22:09
a
22:09
shortage
22:09
of
22:09
this
22:10
or
22:10
there's
22:10
a
22:10
shipping
22:11
strike
22:11
on
22:12
the
22:12
east
22:12
coast
22:12
or
22:13
the
22:13
west
22:13
coast
22:13
and
22:14
you're
22:14
trying
22:14
to
22:14
get
22:14
stuff
22:14
in
22:15
it,
22:16
there's
22:16
always
22:16
some
22:16
kind
22:17
of
22:17
a
22:17
challenge
22:17
out
22:17
there.
22:18
As
22:18
designers
22:19
and
22:19
as
22:19
builders
22:20
and
22:20
remodelers,
22:21
we
22:21
all
22:21
have
22:21
to
22:21
in
22:22
our
22:22
profession
22:23
figure
22:23
out
22:23
how
22:23
to
22:23
deal
22:23
with
22:24
it
22:24
and
22:24
to
22:25
be
22:25
able
22:25
to
22:25
navigate
22:26
the
22:26
client
22:26
through
22:26
those
22:27
stormy.
22:27
Waters.
22:28
Yes,
22:28
agreed.
22:29
I
22:29
mean,
22:29
I
22:30
know
22:30
when
22:30
I
22:30
was
22:31
little,
22:31
when
22:31
my
22:31
parents
22:31
Bought
22:32
their
22:32
forever
22:32
home.
22:33
Interest
22:34
rates
22:34
were
22:34
14.5%
22:36
and
22:36
they
22:36
were
22:36
self
22:37
employed.
22:38
You
22:38
know,
22:38
that
22:38
was
22:39
not
22:39
easy,
22:39
but
22:40
it
22:40
still
22:41
happened.
22:41
I
22:41
mean,
22:42
life
22:42
still
22:42
goes
22:43
on.
22:43
People
22:44
still
22:44
need
22:44
to
22:45
purchase
22:46
a
22:46
sofa,
22:46
People
22:47
still
22:47
need
22:47
to
22:48
put
22:48
a
22:48
window
22:49
covering
22:49
on
22:49
their
22:49
windows.
22:50
People
22:50
still
22:50
need
22:51
to
22:51
change
22:51
out
22:52
a
22:52
light
22:52
fixture.
22:52
If
22:52
it's,
22:53
it's,
22:54
it,
22:55
there's
22:55
always
22:55
something
22:56
to.
22:56
Do.
22:57
Yeah,
22:57
yeah.
22:58
And
22:58
that's
22:58
funny
22:58
because,
22:58
you
22:59
know,
22:59
no
22:59
matter
23:00
what
23:00
the
23:00
economy
23:00
does
23:01
over
23:01
the
23:01
last
23:02
30
23:02
plus
23:02
years,
23:02
I've
23:03
been
23:03
in
23:03
this
23:03
industry
23:03
that
23:04
you
23:04
look
23:04
back,
23:04
it's
23:05
like,
23:05
okay,
23:06
this
23:06
was
23:06
a
23:06
hard
23:06
time,
23:07
but
23:07
people
23:08
were
23:08
remodeling.
23:08
Maybe
23:08
they
23:09
weren't
23:09
building
23:09
the
23:09
new
23:09
house,
23:10
but
23:10
they
23:10
were
23:10
making
23:10
the
23:10
house
23:11
that
23:11
they
23:11
had
23:11
livable
23:11
until
23:12
they
23:12
could
23:12
do
23:12
a
23:12
new
23:12
house.
23:13
And
23:13
then
23:13
all
23:14
of
23:14
a
23:14
sudden
23:14
things
23:14
would
23:14
open
23:15
up
23:15
again.
23:15
And
23:15
then
23:15
all
23:15
of
23:15
a
23:16
sudden
23:16
they're
23:16
selling
23:16
that
23:17
house
23:17
that
23:17
they
23:17
got
23:17
done
23:18
and
23:18
they're
23:18
building
23:18
the
23:18
new
23:18
one
23:19
or
23:19
buying
23:19
the
23:19
new
23:19
one.
23:21
So
23:21
it's.
23:21
There's
23:21
always
23:21
been
23:22
this
23:22
kind
23:22
of
23:22
bouncing
23:23
shift
23:23
between,
23:24
you
23:24
know,
23:24
right
23:24
now
23:25
it
23:25
seems
23:25
there's
23:25
a
23:25
lot
23:25
more
23:26
remodeling
23:26
the
23:26
new
23:27
building
23:27
in
23:28
two
23:28
or
23:28
three
23:28
years,
23:29
it
23:29
could
23:29
be
23:29
the
23:29
exact.
23:29
Opposite.
23:30
And
23:31
again,
23:31
the
23:31
experience
23:31
of
23:31
years
23:32
allows
23:32
you
23:32
to
23:32
pull
23:33
that
23:33
doomsday
23:33
scenario
23:34
out
23:34
of
23:34
there
23:34
and
23:35
understand
23:36
that
23:37
it's
23:37
going
23:37
to
23:38
continue,
23:38
it's
23:39
going
23:39
to
23:39
go
23:39
on.
23:40
It's
23:40
not
23:40
going
23:41
to
23:41
suddenly
23:42
stop
23:42
because
23:42
of
23:43
tariffs
23:43
or
23:43
because
23:44
OSB
23:44
is
23:45
20
23:45
bucks
23:45
a
23:45
sheet.
23:46
Right.
23:47
So
23:47
let's
23:48
adjust.
23:49
Yeah,
23:49
let's
23:50
recalculate.
23:51
Let's
23:51
navigate
23:52
the
23:52
best
23:52
we
23:53
can
23:53
and
23:53
just
23:53
turn
23:53
the
23:53
rudder,
23:54
adjust
23:54
the
23:55
sail.
23:55
But
23:55
yeah,
23:56
the
23:56
freakout's
23:56
not
23:57
going
23:57
to
23:57
serve
23:57
anybody.
23:58
Just
23:58
putting
23:59
more
24:00
drama
24:00
and
24:00
negativity
24:01
into
24:01
the
24:01
situation
24:02
is
24:02
not
24:02
going
24:02
to
24:02
help
24:03
any
24:03
of.
24:03
Us.
24:04
I
24:04
think
24:04
a
24:04
lot
24:04
of
24:04
us
24:05
got
24:05
so
24:05
used
24:05
to
24:05
just
24:06
being
24:06
totally
24:07
overwhelmed
24:07
during
24:08
COVID
24:09
when
24:09
everyone
24:09
went
24:09
home
24:10
and
24:10
realized
24:10
what
24:10
an
24:11
ugly
24:11
home
24:11
they
24:11
lived
24:11
in.
24:13
We
24:13
could
24:14
not
24:14
breathe.
24:14
It
24:14
was
24:15
so
24:15
intense,
24:15
the
24:16
work.
24:16
And
24:16
I
24:16
mean,
24:17
I
24:17
had
24:17
three
24:17
initial
24:18
consultations
24:18
with
24:19
brand
24:19
new
24:19
people
24:19
every
24:20
single
24:20
week.
24:20
And
24:21
even
24:21
that
24:21
was
24:21
like
24:22
people
24:22
would
24:22
have
24:22
to
24:22
wait
24:23
for
24:23
a
24:23
month
24:23
and
24:23
a
24:23
half
24:24
to
24:24
see
24:24
me.
24:25
And
24:25
thankfully
24:25
they
24:25
did.
24:26
But
24:26
it
24:26
was
24:27
insane.
24:27
And
24:27
I
24:28
think
24:28
we
24:28
all
24:28
kind
24:29
of
24:29
adjusted
24:31
to
24:31
that
24:31
level
24:32
of
24:33
work
24:33
and
24:34
ness
24:35
and
24:35
profitability,
24:37
but
24:37
it
24:37
wasn't
24:38
real
24:39
at.
24:39
All.
24:40
And
24:40
so
24:41
that
24:41
was
24:41
a
24:41
good.
24:41
Time.
24:42
Yeah.
24:42
And
24:42
then,
24:43
you
24:43
know,
24:43
we'd
24:43
all
24:43
tell
24:44
each
24:44
other,
24:44
oh,
24:44
at
24:44
least
24:45
it's
24:45
not
24:45
2008.
24:48
So,
24:49
yep,
24:49
one
24:49
way
24:50
or
24:50
another,
24:50
we'll
24:50
all
24:50
get
24:51
through.
24:51
It.
24:51
Absolutely.
24:52
Each
24:52
of
24:52
those
24:53
episodes
24:53
creates
24:53
that
24:54
little
24:54
Shift
24:54
right.
24:54
In
24:55
mindset,
24:55
in
24:56
how
24:56
we
24:56
see
24:56
things,
24:56
how
24:57
we
24:57
look
24:57
at
24:57
the
24:57
whole.
24:58
And
24:58
Covid
24:59
created
24:59
a
25:00
huge
25:00
shift
25:00
for
25:00
all
25:01
of
25:01
us.
25:01
Right.
25:01
Like,
25:02
we
25:02
do
25:03
things
25:03
a
25:03
little
25:03
different
25:04
now.
25:04
And,
25:04
you
25:05
know,
25:05
societies
25:06
need
25:06
that
25:06
to
25:06
shake
25:06
things
25:07
up.
25:07
To
25:07
battle
25:07
through
25:08
2008,
25:08
to
25:08
battle
25:09
through
25:09
a
25:09
Covid
25:09
and
25:10
go,
25:11
nah.
25:11
That's
25:11
the
25:12
experience
25:12
and
25:12
understanding
25:13
you
25:13
gain
25:13
to
25:13
be
25:13
able
25:13
to
25:14
say,
25:14
I
25:14
got
25:14
five
25:14
feet
25:15
I
25:15
can
25:15
control.
25:16
Yeah,
25:16
hopeful.
25:17
Even
25:17
though
25:18
it's,
25:18
yeah,
25:18
now
25:19
I'm
25:19
just
25:19
getting
25:19
into
25:20
Fables,
25:20
but.
25:20
Whatever.
25:21
Yeah,
25:21
all
25:22
good.
25:22
So,
25:22
Wendy,
25:23
what
25:23
was
25:23
your
25:23
takeaway
25:24
from,
25:24
you
25:24
know,
25:24
from
25:24
High
25:25
Point
25:25
as
25:25
far
25:25
as
25:25
trends?
25:26
What
25:26
are
25:26
you
25:26
seeing
25:27
out
25:27
there?
25:27
Of
25:27
course,
25:27
you
25:27
saw
25:28
more
25:28
budget
25:29
friendly
25:29
stuff,
25:29
but
25:29
were
25:30
there
25:30
other
25:30
things
25:30
you
25:30
went,
25:31
oh,
25:31
okay,
25:31
I'm
25:32
seeing
25:32
a.
25:32
Shift.
25:33
It's
25:33
kind
25:33
of
25:33
funny
25:34
because
25:34
actually,
25:34
yes,
25:35
it
25:35
was.
25:36
How
25:36
we're
25:36
talking
25:37
about
25:37
wanting
25:38
some
25:38
stability
25:38
and
25:39
trying
25:39
to
25:39
make
25:40
the
25:40
best
25:40
of
25:40
things,
25:40
and
25:41
we
25:41
want
25:41
to
25:41
control
25:42
our
25:42
five
25:42
feet.
25:43
To
25:43
John's
25:43
point,
25:45
I
25:45
saw
25:45
a
25:45
huge
25:46
return
25:46
to
25:47
traditional
25:48
aesthetic,
25:49
like
25:51
a
25:51
modern
25:52
but
25:52
not
25:53
hard
25:53
take
25:54
on
25:54
Ralph
25:55
Lauren
25:56
everywhere.
25:58
Beautiful,
25:58
deep
25:59
colors
26:00
and,
26:01
like,
26:01
hunting
26:01
lodge.
26:02
Themes.
26:03
And.
26:04
Comfort.
26:05
Comfort,
26:06
yes.
26:06
Like,
26:07
things
26:07
that
26:08
make
26:08
you
26:08
a
26:08
lot
26:08
of
26:09
color,
26:09
but
26:09
jewel
26:10
tone.
26:10
Color.
26:11
Nice.
26:12
A
26:12
lot
26:12
of
26:12
really
26:13
fantastic
26:14
performance
26:14
fabrics,
26:15
like
26:15
velvets
26:16
that
26:16
feel
26:17
unbelievable
26:17
but
26:18
that
26:18
you
26:18
won't
26:18
ruin,
26:19
they
26:19
won't
26:20
crush,
26:20
they
26:20
won't
26:20
stain.
26:22
So
26:22
moody
26:23
colors
26:23
on
26:23
the
26:24
walls
26:24
to
26:24
kind
26:24
of
26:25
make
26:25
you
26:25
feel
26:25
safe
26:26
and
26:26
enveloped
26:26
in
26:27
your
26:27
space.
26:28
Both.
26:29
I
26:29
know
26:29
I
26:29
keep
26:29
talking
26:30
about
26:30
Century
26:30
Norwalk,
26:31
but
26:31
I
26:32
was
26:32
really
26:32
impressed
26:32
by
26:33
those
26:33
two
26:33
showrooms
26:34
and,
26:34
hey,
26:35
Creature,
26:35
too.
26:35
But
26:36
they
26:36
both
26:36
had
26:37
vignettes
26:38
that
26:38
really
26:38
spoke
26:39
to
26:39
that
26:39
aesthetic,
26:40
and
26:40
everyone
26:41
was
26:41
drawn
26:42
to
26:42
those
26:42
spaces.
26:43
It
26:43
just
26:43
felt
26:44
so
26:44
good.
26:45
To.
26:45
Nice.
26:46
Yeah.
26:46
It
26:46
just
26:47
gave
26:47
everyone
26:47
a
26:47
feeling
26:48
of
26:48
safety,
26:48
I.
26:48
Think.
26:49
Yeah,
26:50
we're
26:50
looking
26:50
for
26:50
it
26:50
right
26:51
now.
26:51
Times.
26:52
Times
26:52
of
26:52
chaos
26:53
were
26:53
like,
26:53
I
26:53
want
26:53
meat
26:54
and
26:54
potatoes
26:54
and
26:54
a
26:55
really
26:55
calming
26:55
couch,
26:56
please.
26:57
I
26:57
need.
26:58
This.
26:59
Exactly.
27:00
I
27:00
wait
27:00
and
27:00
go
27:00
home
27:00
and
27:01
watch
27:01
Stranger
27:01
Things
27:02
or
27:02
something,
27:02
you
27:02
know,
27:02
and
27:03
just
27:03
check
27:03
out
27:04
for
27:04
a
27:04
little.
27:04
Bit.
27:05
I
27:05
saw
27:05
a
27:05
lot
27:06
more
27:06
detail,
27:06
too,
27:07
which
27:07
I
27:07
loved,
27:07
because,
27:08
you
27:08
know,
27:08
for
27:08
so
27:08
long,
27:09
it
27:09
was
27:09
mid
27:10
century,
27:10
which
27:11
is
27:11
great.
27:11
And
27:11
anyone
27:12
who
27:12
loves
27:12
that
27:12
esthetic,
27:13
it's
27:14
an
27:14
art
27:14
form,
27:15
and
27:15
I
27:16
don't
27:16
mean
27:16
to
27:17
speak
27:17
ill
27:17
of
27:17
it
27:18
when
27:18
I
27:18
say.
27:18
But
27:19
there's
27:19
also
27:19
a
27:19
return
27:20
to
27:20
more
27:20
detail
27:21
in
27:22
case
27:22
goods
27:23
and
27:23
wood
27:24
furniture,
27:24
especially
27:25
like
27:25
dining
27:26
chairs.
27:27
Beautiful
27:27
routed
27:28
edges
27:28
and
27:28
details
27:29
and
27:30
beautiful
27:31
little
27:32
metal
27:32
rosettes
27:33
or
27:33
ferrules
27:34
on
27:34
the
27:34
bottoms
27:35
of
27:35
the
27:35
chairs
27:36
and
27:37
nail
27:38
head
27:38
placed
27:38
over
27:39
a
27:39
grosgrain
27:39
ribbon.
27:41
So
27:41
the
27:41
detail
27:42
and
27:42
layering
27:43
of
27:43
beautiful
27:44
details
27:45
was
27:45
much
27:46
More
27:46
present
27:47
than
27:47
I've
27:47
ever
27:47
seen
27:48
at
27:48
High
27:49
Point.
27:49
I've
27:49
been,
27:50
I
27:50
don't
27:50
know,
27:51
three
27:51
times
27:51
in
27:52
the
27:52
last
27:53
10
27:53
years,
27:54
but
27:54
I
27:54
loved
27:55
that
27:55
too,
27:55
because
27:55
things
27:56
that
27:56
have
27:56
a
27:56
story
27:58
are
27:59
more
27:59
valuable
28:00
now
28:00
and
28:00
more
28:00
interesting.
28:01
So
28:02
even
28:02
people
28:02
who
28:03
like
28:03
to
28:03
thrift.
28:03
I
28:04
know
28:04
thrifting
28:04
has
28:04
become
28:05
something
28:05
really
28:05
special
28:06
and
28:06
exciting
28:06
and
28:07
people
28:07
are
28:07
always
28:07
on
28:08
the
28:08
hunt
28:08
for
28:08
something
28:08
new.
28:09
You
28:09
can
28:10
embellish
28:10
and
28:10
take
28:11
a
28:11
lot
28:11
of
28:11
license
28:12
from
28:13
the
28:13
trends
28:14
that
28:14
we
28:14
saw
28:14
at
28:14
High
28:14
Point
28:15
for
28:15
things
28:15
that
28:15
you
28:15
can
28:16
do
28:16
with
28:16
furniture
28:16
that
28:16
you
28:17
find
28:17
or
28:17
that
28:17
you're
28:17
interested
28:18
in.
28:18
And
28:19
it's
28:19
just
28:19
fun
28:19
to
28:19
experiment
28:20
and
28:20
put
28:20
layer
28:21
after
28:21
layer
28:22
on
28:22
top
28:22
of.
28:22
Things.
28:23
That
28:23
is
28:24
cool.
28:24
Yeah.
28:24
Thrifting
28:25
is
28:25
so
28:25
big.
28:25
And
28:26
I
28:26
have
28:26
a
28:26
favorite
28:27
place
28:27
here
28:27
in
28:27
Portland
28:27
that's
28:28
called
28:28
Urbanite.
28:29
And
28:29
it's
28:29
an
28:30
old
28:31
car
28:31
dealership
28:33
in
28:33
the
28:33
urban
28:33
core
28:34
of
28:34
the
28:34
area.
28:34
And
28:35
it
28:35
literally
28:35
had,
28:36
you
28:37
would.
28:37
The
28:38
bottom
28:38
half
28:38
was
28:38
the
28:39
car
28:39
showroom
28:40
where
28:40
they
28:40
had
28:40
all
28:40
the
28:40
cars
28:41
inside.
28:42
The
28:42
second
28:43
floor
28:43
was
28:43
where
28:44
they
28:44
had
28:44
the
28:44
body
28:44
shop
28:45
and
28:45
the
28:45
service
28:46
bays.
28:47
And
28:47
so
28:48
they've
28:48
made
28:48
it
28:48
into
28:49
all
28:49
of
28:49
these
28:50
different
28:51
small
28:51
makers
28:52
and
28:54
just
28:54
reuse
28:55
type
28:55
of,
28:56
you
28:56
know,
28:56
people
28:56
that
28:57
specialized
28:57
in
28:58
mid
28:58
century
28:58
people
28:59
that
28:59
are
28:59
taking
28:59
pieces
29:00
and
29:00
making
29:00
them
29:01
into
29:01
something
29:01
else
29:01
or
29:02
improving
29:02
on
29:02
them.
29:03
And
29:03
it's
29:03
gosh,
29:04
that
29:04
thing's
29:04
got
29:04
to
29:04
be
29:05
20,000
29:05
square
29:05
feet,
29:06
30,000
29:06
square
29:06
feet
29:07
where
29:07
you
29:07
walk
29:07
through
29:07
it
29:07
and
29:08
it's
29:08
50
29:09
different
29:09
people
29:09
working
29:10
out
29:10
of
29:10
there.
29:10
But
29:10
it's
29:10
one
29:10
of
29:11
those
29:11
places
29:11
that
29:11
if
29:11
you
29:11
want
29:12
to
29:12
go
29:12
find
29:12
something
29:12
fun,
29:14
high
29:14
quality,
29:15
cool.
29:15
Stuff.
29:16
I
29:16
actually
29:16
have
29:16
the
29:17
website
29:17
up
29:17
on
29:18
my
29:19
to
29:19
one
29:19
of
29:19
my
29:19
tabs
29:20
right
29:20
now.
29:20
I
29:20
was
29:20
just
29:21
looking
29:21
at
29:21
it
29:21
the
29:21
other
29:21
day.
29:22
It's
29:22
right.
29:23
It's
29:23
like
29:23
this
29:24
collab
29:25
artisan
29:25
collective
29:26
that's
29:26
super.
29:28
Just
29:28
a
29:28
bunch
29:28
of.
29:29
Artists.
29:29
Is
29:30
an
29:30
architect,
29:31
so
29:31
she
29:32
gets
29:33
style.
29:34
And
29:35
I
29:35
think
29:35
she's
29:35
also
29:36
got
29:36
like
29:37
masters
29:37
in
29:37
furniture
29:38
design
29:38
or
29:38
something
29:39
crazy.
29:39
So
29:39
she's
29:40
way
29:40
geeky
29:41
on
29:41
the
29:41
education
29:42
side
29:42
of
29:42
it,
29:42
but
29:43
totally
29:43
gets
29:43
it.
29:44
So
29:44
it's
29:44
always.
29:45
Fun.
29:46
Yeah.
29:46
All.
29:47
Right.
29:47
I
29:47
wanted
29:47
to
29:47
switch
29:48
here
29:48
since
29:48
we've
29:48
talked
29:49
High
29:49
Point.
29:49
I
29:49
want
29:49
to
29:49
slide
29:50
this
29:50
in
29:50
before
29:50
we
29:50
run
29:50
out
29:51
of
29:51
time.
29:51
Decorating
29:51
for
29:52
the
29:52
holidays.
29:52
And
29:52
Wendy,
29:53
you
29:53
I
29:54
gotta
29:54
lean
29:54
over
29:54
on
29:55
the
29:55
designer.
29:55
My
29:55
decorating
29:56
for
29:56
the
29:56
holidays
29:57
is
29:57
basing
29:58
a
29:58
turkey
30:00
on
30:00
the
30:00
overhead
30:01
than
30:01
it
30:01
is
30:01
maybe
30:02
what
30:02
you
30:02
do.
30:02
So
30:02
I'd
30:03
love
30:03
to
30:03
get
30:03
your
30:03
take
30:03
on.
30:04
It.
30:04
Actually.
30:05
I
30:05
got
30:05
started
30:06
in
30:06
this
30:07
line
30:07
of
30:08
work
30:08
because
30:09
when
30:09
in
30:09
high
30:10
school,
30:11
my
30:11
boyfriend's
30:12
mom
30:13
and
30:14
my
30:14
boyfriend's
30:14
parents
30:15
hired
30:15
me
30:15
to
30:15
decorate
30:16
their
30:16
house
30:16
for
30:17
Christmas
30:17
because
30:17
she
30:17
Just
30:18
didn't
30:18
want
30:18
to.
30:18
She
30:18
was
30:19
the
30:19
mayor
30:20
and
30:20
she
30:20
was
30:20
very
30:20
busy,
30:21
and
30:21
she
30:21
just
30:21
didn't
30:21
want
30:22
to.
30:22
And
30:22
she
30:22
figured
30:22
I
30:23
had
30:23
a
30:23
decent
30:23
eye
30:23
because
30:24
my
30:24
parents
30:24
are
30:24
jewelers.
30:25
And
30:25
so
30:26
that
30:26
was
30:26
the
30:26
first
30:26
job
30:27
I
30:27
ever
30:27
did.
30:27
And
30:27
she
30:27
had
30:28
the
30:28
neatest
30:28
stuff
30:29
because
30:29
as
30:29
mayor,
30:30
she
30:30
traveled
30:31
a
30:31
lot
30:31
for
30:31
sister
30:31
cities.
30:32
And
30:32
I
30:33
remember
30:33
in
30:33
particular
30:34
she
30:34
had
30:34
those
30:34
little
30:35
Russian
30:35
dolls
30:35
that
30:36
all
30:36
go
30:36
in.
30:37
I
30:37
know
30:37
there's
30:38
a.
30:38
They,
30:39
like,
30:39
all
30:39
go
30:39
together,
30:41
whatever
30:42
that's
30:42
called.
30:42
I'm
30:42
sorry,
30:43
I
30:43
don't
30:43
know.
30:43
But
30:44
there
30:44
were
30:45
so
30:45
many
30:45
special
30:45
things
30:46
that
30:46
she
30:46
had
30:46
that
30:46
I
30:47
just
30:47
loved.
30:47
And
30:47
then
30:47
I'd
30:48
go
30:48
up
30:48
and
30:48
down
30:48
the
30:48
alleys
30:49
and
30:49
cut
30:49
all
30:50
fresh
30:50
greenery
30:50
and
30:51
just
30:51
make
30:51
these
30:51
huge
30:51
garlands
30:52
and
30:52
boughs.
30:52
And
30:53
so
30:53
she
30:53
loved
30:54
it.
30:54
And
30:54
then
30:54
she
30:54
started
30:54
telling
30:55
her
30:55
friends
30:55
about
30:55
it.
30:56
And
30:56
so
30:56
then
30:57
her
30:57
friends
30:58
hired
30:58
me.
30:58
And
30:59
then
31:00
my
31:00
parents
31:00
would
31:00
tell
31:01
their
31:01
friends
31:01
that
31:01
I
31:01
was
31:02
doing
31:02
this
31:02
for
31:02
other
31:02
people,
31:03
you
31:03
know.
31:03
Oh,
31:03
how's
31:03
Wendy?
31:04
Oh,
31:04
she's
31:04
Christmas
31:05
decorating.
31:05
So
31:05
I
31:05
would
31:05
come
31:06
home
31:06
from
31:06
college
31:07
at
31:07
Thanksgiving
31:07
and
31:08
have
31:08
two
31:08
or
31:08
three
31:08
houses
31:09
to
31:09
do
31:10
for
31:10
Christmas,
31:11
which
31:11
I
31:11
was
31:12
very
31:12
grateful
31:12
for.
31:12
It
31:13
was
31:13
minimum
31:13
wage
31:13
and
31:14
cash
31:14
and,
31:14
you
31:14
know,
31:14
I
31:14
was
31:15
happy.
31:15
I
31:15
was
31:15
a
31:16
college
31:16
kid.
31:17
And
31:17
then
31:18
later,
31:19
when
31:19
my
31:19
son
31:20
was
31:20
little,
31:20
I
31:20
was
31:20
part
31:21
of
31:21
a
31:21
service
31:21
organization,
31:22
and
31:22
they
31:22
have
31:22
a
31:22
Christmas
31:23
home
31:23
tour
31:23
every.
31:24
Year.
31:25
Cool.
31:26
And
31:26
they
31:27
gave
31:27
me
31:27
a
31:27
house
31:28
that
31:28
was
31:28
6,500
31:29
square
31:30
feet
31:30
to
31:30
decorate.
31:31
And
31:31
the
31:31
homeowner
31:32
had
31:32
two
31:32
Rubbermaid
31:33
tubs
31:33
full
31:34
of
31:34
decorations,
31:35
and
31:35
that
31:35
was
31:35
it.
31:36
Wow.
31:37
I
31:37
have
31:37
more
31:37
than
31:38
that,
31:38
and
31:38
I
31:38
don't
31:39
really.
31:39
Decorate.
31:40
I
31:40
came
31:41
very
31:41
close
31:41
to
31:41
a
31:41
nervous
31:42
breakdown,
31:43
but
31:44
it
31:44
just
31:44
so
31:44
happened
31:45
that
31:45
it
31:46
was
31:46
an
31:46
anniversary
31:47
of
31:47
Central
31:47
West
31:48
Ballet's
31:48
the
31:49
Nutcracker.
31:50
And
31:50
my
31:50
father,
31:51
who's
31:51
still
31:51
working
31:52
as
31:52
a
31:52
jeweler,
31:53
made
31:53
this
31:53
beautiful
31:54
nutcracker
31:55
Christmas
31:55
pendant.
31:56
And
31:56
so
31:57
every
31:57
single
31:57
room
31:58
in
31:58
the
31:58
home,
31:58
we
31:58
turned
31:59
into
31:59
a
31:59
different
32:00
scene
32:01
from
32:01
the
32:01
ballet.
32:02
So
32:02
that
32:02
was
32:03
really
32:03
fun.
32:04
And
32:04
we
32:05
got
32:05
so
32:05
many
32:05
people
32:05
involved.
32:06
Ballerinas
32:07
were
32:07
there
32:08
for
32:08
the
32:08
day
32:08
of
32:08
the
32:08
tour
32:08
and
32:08
everything,
32:09
but
32:09
I
32:10
think
32:10
that
32:10
kind
32:11
of
32:11
burned
32:11
me
32:11
out,
32:12
to
32:12
be.
32:12
Honest.
32:13
You're
32:13
like,
32:13
I'm.
32:13
Done.
32:14
Big
32:14
ones
32:15
will
32:15
do
32:15
that.
32:16
Yeah.
32:17
So
32:17
now
32:17
I'll
32:18
do
32:18
Christmas
32:19
for
32:19
clients
32:20
the
32:20
first
32:21
year,
32:21
you
32:21
know,
32:22
after
32:22
we
32:23
redo
32:23
their
32:23
whole
32:24
home,
32:24
because
32:24
they
32:24
need
32:24
a
32:25
different
32:25
tone
32:25
or
32:25
a
32:26
different
32:26
color
32:26
scheme
32:26
or
32:27
different
32:27
whatever.
32:28
But
32:29
I
32:29
found
32:30
the
32:30
over
32:31
the
32:31
top
32:31
Christmas
32:32
decor
32:33
that
32:33
was
32:33
such
32:34
a
32:34
huge
32:34
thing
32:35
to
32:36
me.
32:36
It's
32:36
like
32:37
you're.
32:37
It's
32:38
so
32:38
overwhelming.
32:38
I
32:38
can't
32:39
get.
32:39
Started.
32:40
Yeah.
32:41
So
32:41
now
32:41
I
32:42
just
32:42
do
32:42
a
32:42
simple
32:43
tree
32:44
and
32:44
fresh
32:45
garland
32:45
and
32:45
greenery
32:46
from
32:46
my
32:46
friend
32:46
Antoinette
32:47
at
32:47
Rodein
32:48
Farms,
32:48
where
32:48
I
32:49
got
32:49
to
32:49
work
32:49
when
32:49
I
32:49
was
32:49
going
32:50
back
32:50
to
32:50
school
32:50
for
32:50
my
32:51
degree
32:51
for
32:51
design.
32:52
Fresh
32:53
fruit,
32:53
beautiful
32:54
fresh
32:54
flowers.
32:55
I
32:56
like
32:56
the
32:56
candles
32:57
that
32:57
are
32:57
battery
32:58
operated,
32:58
but
32:58
they
32:59
flicker.
32:59
They
32:59
just
32:59
kind
33:00
of
33:00
go
33:00
like
33:00
this
33:00
so
33:01
they
33:01
look
33:01
real.
33:01
And
33:01
just
33:02
with
33:02
a
33:02
little
33:02
remote,
33:03
all
33:03
of
33:03
them
33:03
turn
33:03
on
33:04
and
33:04
it's
33:04
just.
33:04
Just
33:05
sparkly
33:06
and
33:06
romantic.
33:06
But
33:07
it's
33:07
not
33:08
over
33:08
the
33:09
top.
33:09
Packed
33:10
Christmas
33:10
trees
33:11
and
33:11
garlands
33:12
and,
33:12
you
33:12
know,
33:12
everything.
33:13
And
33:13
it
33:14
was
33:14
funny
33:14
because
33:14
I
33:15
didn't
33:15
really
33:15
understand
33:16
why
33:16
my
33:17
aversion
33:18
was
33:19
as
33:19
it
33:19
is
33:20
until
33:20
I
33:21
remembered
33:21
that
33:22
giant
33:22
house
33:22
that
33:22
I
33:23
had
33:23
done.
33:23
And
33:23
then
33:23
I
33:24
watched
33:24
this
33:24
year
33:25
McGee
33:25
&
33:25
Co.
33:25
On
33:26
YouTube.
33:26
They
33:27
showed
33:27
Shane
33:27
McGee
33:28
doing
33:28
her
33:28
house
33:29
and
33:29
she
33:29
just
33:30
had
33:30
simple
33:30
little
33:30
garlands
33:31
with.
33:31
With
33:31
pretty
33:32
little
33:32
velvet
33:32
red
33:33
ribbon.
33:33
And
33:33
that
33:33
was
33:34
it.
33:34
And
33:34
I
33:34
thought,
33:35
could
33:35
I
33:36
come
33:36
to
33:36
love
33:36
Christmas
33:37
again?
33:37
Is
33:37
it
33:38
possible?
33:39
I
33:39
don't
33:39
feel
33:40
like
33:41
bogged
33:41
down
33:41
under
33:42
the
33:42
weight
33:42
of
33:43
having
33:43
to
33:43
produce.
33:44
Yeah,
33:45
I
33:45
think
33:45
that's
33:45
the
33:45
thing.
33:46
None
33:46
of
33:46
us
33:47
want
33:47
to
33:47
produce
33:48
a
33:48
Christmas
33:49
really
33:49
anymore.
33:50
I
33:50
don't
33:50
think,
33:51
to
33:51
be
33:51
honest,
33:51
we
33:52
have
33:52
the
33:52
energy
33:52
for
33:52
it
33:53
because
33:53
of
33:53
what.
33:53
We'Ve
33:54
discussed.
33:54
Energy
33:55
for
33:55
so
33:55
little
33:55
time.
33:56
Right.
33:56
I.
33:56
Mean,
33:57
yeah.
33:57
So
33:58
just
33:58
some
33:58
pretty
33:58
fresh
33:59
garland
33:59
and
33:59
a
34:00
nice
34:00
tree
34:00
and
34:01
some
34:01
candles
34:01
and
34:02
a
34:02
few
34:02
bows
34:03
and
34:03
just
34:04
enough
34:04
to
34:04
elevate
34:05
it
34:05
enough
34:05
so
34:05
that
34:05
in
34:06
the
34:06
middle
34:06
of
34:06
winter
34:06
it's
34:07
not
34:07
depressing
34:08
and
34:08
gray
34:08
and
34:09
sad
34:09
outside.
34:09
It's
34:10
something
34:10
pretty
34:10
inside
34:11
you
34:11
can
34:11
look
34:11
forward
34:11
to.
34:12
And
34:12
something
34:13
I
34:13
really
34:13
love
34:13
to
34:13
do
34:14
is
34:14
put
34:14
all
34:14
of
34:15
the
34:15
lamps
34:15
and
34:16
the
34:16
Christmas
34:16
tree
34:16
and
34:17
the
34:17
garlands
34:17
on.
34:18
A.
34:18
Timer.
34:18
Yeah.
34:19
So
34:19
that
34:19
they're
34:19
all
34:20
on
34:20
when
34:20
I
34:20
get
34:20
home
34:21
from
34:21
work
34:22
because
34:22
it's
34:22
dark
34:22
at
34:23
4:30,
34:24
so
34:25
that
34:25
helps
34:26
a
34:26
lot
34:26
to
34:26
kind
34:27
of
34:27
keep
34:27
the
34:27
gray
34:28
winter.
34:28
Blues
34:29
away.
34:29
Smart
34:30
timers
34:30
these
34:30
days
34:30
are.
34:31
So
34:31
you
34:31
can
34:31
plug
34:31
it
34:32
in,
34:32
you
34:32
can
34:32
say,
34:33
hey,
34:33
I
34:33
want
34:33
this
34:33
to
34:33
come
34:33
on
34:34
a
34:34
half
34:34
hour
34:34
before
34:35
sunset.
34:35
And
34:36
it's
34:36
automatically
34:37
going
34:37
to
34:37
be
34:37
on
34:37
at
34:37
the
34:37
right
34:38
time.
34:38
You
34:38
don't
34:38
have
34:38
to
34:38
sit
34:39
there
34:39
with
34:39
the
34:39
dial
34:40
ones
34:40
and
34:40
pull
34:40
little
34:41
metal
34:41
things
34:41
out
34:42
and
34:42
go,
34:42
did
34:42
I
34:42
set
34:42
that
34:43
right?
34:43
Who
34:43
bumped
34:44
that?
34:44
You
34:45
know
34:45
what
34:45
I
34:45
mean?
34:45
And
34:46
Right.
34:46
It's
34:47
one
34:47
of
34:47
those
34:47
things
34:47
that
34:48
it
34:48
works
34:48
so.
34:48
Well
34:49
and.
34:50
Yeah.
34:50
And
34:51
it's
34:51
really
34:51
good
34:51
for
34:51
boosting
34:52
your
34:52
mood.
34:52
And
34:52
so
34:53
are
34:53
fresh
34:53
flowers.
34:53
There's
34:54
actually
34:54
science
34:54
around
34:55
it.
34:55
So
34:56
even
34:56
just.
34:57
I
34:57
mean,
34:57
when
34:57
I
34:57
go
34:57
to
34:58
the
34:58
grocery
34:58
store
34:58
once
34:58
a
34:59
week,
34:59
I
34:59
get
34:59
a
34:59
couple
34:59
bundles
35:00
of
35:00
flowers
35:01
and
35:01
just
35:01
put
35:01
them
35:01
around
35:02
again.
35:03
Because
35:03
I
35:03
think
35:04
a
35:04
big
35:04
part
35:05
of
35:05
Christmas
35:05
decorating
35:06
is
35:07
lifting
35:07
your
35:07
spirits.
35:08
The
35:08
spirit
35:09
of
35:09
the
35:09
holiday.
35:09
And
35:10
because
35:11
we
35:11
kind
35:11
of
35:11
need
35:11
it
35:11
this
35:12
time
35:12
of
35:12
year.
35:12
We're
35:13
all
35:13
tired
35:13
and
35:14
we
35:14
need
35:14
something
35:15
that's
35:15
beautiful,
35:16
that
35:16
lifts
35:16
your
35:16
spirits,
35:17
but
35:17
that
35:17
is
35:17
not
35:17
gonna.
35:18
Overwhelm
35:19
you.
35:19
And
35:19
for
35:20
us
35:20
here
35:20
in
35:20
the
35:20
Pacific
35:21
Northwest,
35:22
we
35:22
have
35:23
like
35:23
21
35:24
days
35:24
with
35:24
no
35:24
sunshine
35:25
sometimes.
35:25
And.
35:26
It'S
35:26
rain.
35:27
Guess
35:27
that's
35:27
what
35:27
we've
35:27
been.
35:28
Experiencing
35:28
here.
35:29
Yeah,
35:30
we
35:30
have
35:30
to
35:31
have
35:31
that.
35:31
You
35:31
maybe
35:32
not
35:32
so
35:32
much,
35:33
but
35:33
here
35:33
we'll
35:33
have
35:34
three
35:34
weeks
35:34
of
35:36
42
35:36
degrees
35:37
and
35:37
rain.
35:37
And
35:38
just
35:38
for
35:39
sanity,
35:39
we
35:40
need
35:40
to.
35:40
Have
35:40
that.
35:41
I
35:41
was
35:41
just
35:41
gonna
35:42
say,
35:42
first
35:42
of
35:43
all,
35:43
Eric,
35:43
you're
35:43
always
35:43
knocking
35:44
on
35:44
the
35:44
old
35:44
pull
35:45
the
35:45
plug
35:45
out,
35:45
turn
35:45
the
35:46
timer
35:46
thing.
35:47
They
35:47
worked
35:47
fine.
35:48
They
35:48
worked
35:48
great.
35:48
For
35:49
me.
35:49
It
35:49
does
35:49
work
35:49
fine.
35:50
I
35:50
have
35:50
those
35:50
at
35:50
my
35:50
cabin.
35:51
Thanks
35:51
a
35:51
lot.
35:51
Thank.
35:52
You,
35:52
John.
35:53
There's
35:53
no
35:53
problem
35:53
with
35:54
them.
35:54
He
35:54
wants
35:54
everything
35:55
to
35:55
be
35:55
smart.
35:55
I'm
35:56
like,
35:56
sometimes
35:56
smart
35:57
isn't
35:57
the
35:57
smartest
35:58
thing.
35:59
Second
35:59
of
35:59
all,
35:59
now
35:59
I
36:00
know
36:00
why
36:00
I
36:00
never
36:00
took
36:01
down
36:01
my
36:01
Christmas
36:01
decorations
36:02
when
36:02
I
36:02
lived.
36:03
In.
36:03
Seattle.
36:04
Yes.
36:04
I
36:05
didn't
36:05
really
36:05
need
36:05
this
36:05
timer.
36:06
I'm
36:06
like,
36:06
just
36:06
leave
36:07
them
36:07
on
36:07
for
36:07
nine
36:07
months
36:08
till
36:08
we
36:08
get
36:08
out.
36:08
Of
36:09
this.
36:09
It's
36:10
true.
36:10
It's
36:10
so
36:11
true.
36:11
But
36:11
yeah,
36:11
I
36:11
mean,
36:12
it's.
36:12
And
36:12
you
36:13
know,
36:13
it's
36:13
fun
36:13
because,
36:14
for
36:14
instance,
36:15
now
36:15
you're
36:15
starting
36:15
to
36:16
see,
36:16
you
36:16
know,
36:16
of
36:16
course
36:16
there's
36:17
all
36:17
the
36:17
wonderful,
36:18
you
36:18
know,
36:18
pre
36:18
lit
36:19
Christmas
36:20
trees
36:20
where.
36:20
You
36:20
just.
36:21
I
36:21
love.
36:22
Those
36:22
things.
36:23
This
36:23
year
36:23
we
36:24
actually,
36:24
last
36:24
weekend
36:25
we
36:25
went
36:25
and
36:25
cut
36:25
a
36:26
fresh
36:26
one.
36:26
And
36:26
we
36:26
have
36:26
a
36:27
lot
36:27
of
36:27
fresh
36:27
cut
36:27
Christmas
36:28
tree
36:28
farms
36:28
that
36:29
are
36:29
within
36:29
10
36:30
minutes
36:30
of
36:30
the
36:30
house.
36:31
So
36:31
I
36:31
actually
36:31
went
36:31
and
36:32
got
36:32
a
36:32
something
36:32
I
36:33
never
36:33
heard
36:33
of
36:33
a
36:33
Turkish
36:34
fir.
36:34
And
36:35
so
36:36
super
36:36
cool.
36:36
Looks
36:37
like
36:37
a
36:37
noble
36:37
fir,
36:38
but
36:38
it
36:38
has
36:39
the
36:39
bottom
36:40
of
36:40
the
36:40
branches
36:41
are
36:41
this
36:41
silvery
36:42
high
36:42
gloss.
36:43
So
36:44
you
36:44
get
36:44
this
36:44
green
36:44
and
36:45
silver,
36:45
almost
36:46
like
36:46
it
36:46
was
36:46
flocked,
36:47
but
36:47
it's
36:47
just
36:47
the
36:47
natural
36:48
part
36:48
of
36:48
it.
36:49
And
36:49
so
36:49
you
36:49
get
36:49
a
36:50
little
36:50
bit
36:50
of
36:50
twist
36:50
out
36:50
of
36:51
them.
36:51
Looks
36:52
totally
36:52
cool.
36:53
But
36:54
you
36:54
walk
36:54
in
36:54
the
36:54
house
36:54
and
36:55
it
36:55
smells
36:55
like
36:56
fresh
36:56
Christmas
36:57
tree
36:57
when
36:57
you
36:57
walk
36:57
in,
36:58
which
36:58
to
36:58
me
36:58
is
36:59
priceless.
37:00
Over
37:00
the
37:00
manufactured
37:01
ones
37:01
that
37:02
I've
37:02
had
37:02
in
37:02
the
37:02
past
37:02
were
37:02
the.
37:03
Plastic
37:03
trees.
37:03
You
37:03
know,
37:04
seen
37:04
it
37:04
on
37:04
my
37:04
beautiful
37:05
flock
37:05
tree.
37:05
Is
37:06
that
37:06
what
37:06
you're
37:06
doing?
37:06
Okay,
37:07
this
37:07
is
37:07
the
37:08
second
37:08
time
37:08
we
37:08
found
37:08
something
37:09
to.
37:09
Disagree
37:09
about.
37:10
I
37:10
love
37:11
flock
37:11
trees.
37:11
I
37:12
have
37:12
done
37:12
flock
37:13
trees.
37:13
I.
37:13
Have
37:13
bought.
37:13
No,
37:14
this.
37:14
Is
37:14
faux.
37:15
The
37:15
faux
37:15
ones
37:15
are.
37:15
Beautiful
37:16
too.
37:17
Look
37:17
at
37:17
him
37:17
backpedal.
37:18
Look
37:18
at
37:18
him
37:18
backpedal.
37:20
Right
37:21
hook.
37:21
Right
37:21
hook.
37:22
I
37:22
got
37:22
this
37:22
from
37:23
Sweet52,
37:23
my
37:24
friend
37:24
Sarah
37:24
and
37:24
Emma.
37:25
So
37:25
I
37:25
put
37:25
the
37:25
base
37:26
down
37:26
and
37:27
you
37:27
plug
37:27
it
37:27
in
37:28
and
37:28
then
37:28
you
37:29
put
37:29
the
37:29
middle
37:29
section
37:29
on
37:30
and
37:30
they
37:30
both
37:30
light
37:31
up.
37:31
And
37:31
then
37:31
you
37:31
put
37:31
the
37:31
top
37:32
section
37:32
on
37:32
and
37:32
it
37:33
lights
37:33
up.
37:33
When
37:34
I
37:34
used
37:34
to
37:34
have
37:34
to
37:34
do
37:35
all
37:35
that
37:35
from
37:35
scratch
37:36
from
37:36
my
37:36
days
37:36
when
37:37
I
37:37
was
37:37
in
37:37
that
37:37
service
37:38
club.
37:38
You
37:39
have
37:39
to
37:39
wear
37:39
gloves
37:40
when
37:41
you
37:41
wrap
37:41
all
37:41
of
37:42
that,
37:42
whether
37:42
it's
37:42
fresh
37:43
or
37:43
not,
37:43
because
37:43
your
37:44
hands
37:44
are
37:44
just
37:45
like
37:45
eaten
37:45
to
37:46
shreds
37:47
by
37:47
either
37:47
the
37:48
metal
37:48
sticky
37:49
parts
37:49
of
37:49
the
37:49
faux
37:50
trees
37:51
or
37:51
all
37:51
the
37:52
pitch
37:52
on.
37:52
The
37:52
others.
37:54
I
37:55
just
37:55
had
37:55
new
37:55
tattoo
37:55
work
37:56
done
37:56
and
37:56
so
37:57
I
37:57
was
37:57
doing
37:57
it
37:58
one
37:58
handed
37:58
on
37:58
the
37:59
tree
37:59
because
37:59
I'm
37:59
like,
37:59
I
37:59
gotta
37:59
go
38:00
get
38:00
a
38:00
glove.
38:00
This
38:00
is.
38:01
Killing
38:01
me.
38:02
See?
38:03
Save
38:03
yourself.
38:04
You
38:04
can.
38:05
You
38:05
can
38:05
always
38:05
bring
38:05
that
38:06
fresh.
38:06
You
38:06
know
38:06
what,
38:07
you
38:07
can
38:07
collect
38:08
all
38:08
of
38:08
that
38:09
fresh
38:09
stuff
38:09
at
38:09
the
38:10
Christmas
38:10
tree
38:10
lots
38:11
and
38:11
then
38:11
put
38:11
them
38:11
in
38:11
like
38:11
a
38:12
vintage
38:12
champagne
38:13
bucket.
38:14
It's
38:14
so
38:15
pretty
38:15
nice.
38:16
And
38:16
it.
38:16
Smells
38:17
amazing.
38:18
And
38:20
on
38:20
the
38:20
side,
38:20
you
38:21
can
38:21
use.
38:21
That.
38:21
Yeah.
38:23
You're
38:23
in
38:23
the
38:23
Caribbean,
38:23
John.
38:24
So
38:24
that.
38:24
Would
38:24
work.
38:25
That
38:25
works.
38:26
Fine
38:26
here.
38:26
One.
38:26
Right?
38:27
Yeah.
38:28
So.
38:28
You'Re
38:28
okay?
38:29
Yeah,
38:29
there's.
38:30
I'll
38:30
tell
38:30
you,
38:30
as
38:31
much
38:31
as
38:31
I
38:31
like
38:31
watching
38:31
him
38:32
get
38:32
picked
38:32
on,
38:32
Wendy,
38:33
thank
38:33
you
38:33
for
38:33
that,
38:34
by
38:34
the
38:34
way.
38:34
I
38:35
am
38:35
very
38:35
much
38:36
a
38:36
proponent
38:36
of
38:37
real
38:37
trees.
38:37
Yeah,
38:38
maybe
38:39
that's
38:39
not.
38:39
Maybe
38:40
that's.
38:40
Maybe
38:40
not
38:40
PC.
38:41
I
38:41
don't
38:41
know,
38:41
whatever.
38:42
But
38:42
the
38:42
smell
38:43
and
38:43
the
38:44
work
38:44
of
38:44
it
38:44
and
38:45
getting
38:45
pitch
38:45
on
38:45
my
38:46
hands
38:46
and
38:47
I
38:47
don't
38:47
know,
38:48
like,
38:48
the
38:48
process
38:49
of
38:49
it.
38:50
I
38:50
love
38:50
that.
38:51
And
38:51
to
38:51
like,
38:51
jigsaw
38:52
puzzle
38:52
together
38:53
a
38:53
faux
38:53
tree.
38:54
They
38:54
do
38:54
it
38:54
a
38:55
ton
38:55
down
38:55
here.
38:55
There's
38:55
not
38:56
a
38:56
lot
38:56
of
38:56
pine
38:56
trees
38:56
down
38:57
here,
38:57
Right.
38:57
A
38:58
lot
38:58
of
38:58
fir
38:58
trees
38:58
down
38:59
here.
38:59
So
39:00
everybody's
39:00
got
39:00
fake
39:00
trees.
39:01
And
39:01
I'm
39:01
just
39:01
like,
39:01
this
39:02
is.
39:02
No,
39:02
this.
39:03
I
39:03
literally
39:04
go
39:04
and
39:04
buy,
39:04
like
39:05
a
39:05
little
39:05
plant,
39:05
like
39:06
a
39:06
Charlie
39:06
Brown
39:06
Christmas
39:07
tree.
39:07
I'm
39:08
like,
39:08
I
39:08
need
39:08
something
39:09
alive.
39:09
Do
39:10
you.
39:10
Not
39:10
understand?
39:10
No.
39:11
This
39:11
is
39:11
interesting
39:12
me,
39:12
because
39:12
the
39:12
two
39:13
of
39:13
you
39:13
are
39:13
talking
39:13
about
39:14
figuring
39:14
out
39:14
your
39:14
own
39:15
Christmas
39:15
trees
39:15
and
39:15
decorating
39:16
your
39:16
own.
39:16
Christmas.
39:17
Trees.
39:17
Yeah.
39:18
And
39:18
in
39:18
my
39:18
life
39:18
experience,
39:20
it's
39:20
been
39:20
a
39:21
lonely
39:21
endeavor,
39:22
so
39:23
it's
39:23
not
39:23
really
39:23
that
39:24
fun
39:24
for
39:25
me.
39:25
So
39:26
it's
39:26
lovely
39:26
that
39:27
both
39:27
of
39:27
you
39:28
engage
39:28
in
39:29
putting
39:29
on
39:30
the
39:30
Christmas
39:30
spirit,
39:31
because
39:31
I
39:31
think
39:31
that's
39:32
part
39:32
of
39:32
it.
39:32
Like
39:32
a
39:33
lot
39:33
of
39:33
my
39:33
friends
39:33
too
39:34
say,
39:34
gosh,
39:35
man,
39:35
I'm
39:35
always
39:36
stuck
39:36
decorating
39:36
that
39:37
trail
39:37
by
39:37
myself
39:38
and
39:38
they're
39:38
in
39:38
there
39:38
watching
39:39
football
39:39
and
39:39
I'm
39:40
so.
39:40
I
39:40
think
39:41
there's.
39:41
Maybe
39:42
that's
39:42
part
39:42
of
39:42
it.
39:42
I.
39:43
Love
39:44
it.
39:44
Yeah.
39:45
Yeah.
39:45
I
39:45
mean,
39:45
I've
39:46
always
39:46
been.
39:46
Great
39:46
you
39:46
guys,
39:47
I
39:47
love
39:48
that
39:48
my.
39:48
Girlfriend,
39:49
she's
39:49
as
39:49
much
39:49
into
39:49
football,
39:50
if
39:50
not
39:50
more
39:51
than
39:51
what
39:51
I
39:51
am.
39:51
So
39:52
we
39:52
have
39:52
the
39:52
football
39:52
game
39:53
on
39:53
and
39:53
we're
39:54
doing.
39:54
It
39:54
together.
39:55
That's
39:55
awesome.
39:56
It
39:56
works
39:56
out.
39:56
That
39:57
way.
39:57
So
39:57
good.
39:58
I'm
39:58
glad.
39:59
That
39:59
way.
39:59
But
40:00
yeah,
40:00
no,
40:00
that's
40:00
the
40:00
fun
40:01
part.
40:01
And,
40:01
you
40:01
know,
40:02
and
40:02
in
40:02
decorating
40:03
for
40:03
the
40:03
holidays,
40:04
to
40:04
me,
40:04
I
40:05
think
40:05
the
40:05
key,
40:05
at
40:05
least
40:06
from
40:06
my
40:06
perspective,
40:06
is
40:07
making
40:07
it
40:07
uber
40:08
personal.
40:08
It's
40:09
your
40:09
holidays
40:10
put
40:10
up
40:10
there
40:10
what
40:11
feels
40:11
good,
40:12
what
40:12
looks
40:12
nice.
40:13
And
40:14
yes,
40:14
too
40:15
much
40:15
can
40:15
be.
40:15
Too
40:16
much.
40:16
Yeah,
40:17
I've
40:18
done
40:18
the
40:18
too
40:18
much.
40:18
And
40:19
what
40:19
I
40:19
found
40:20
over
40:20
the
40:20
course
40:20
of
40:21
years
40:21
is
40:21
that.
40:22
And
40:22
you
40:22
can
40:23
laugh
40:23
at
40:23
me
40:23
if
40:23
you
40:23
want,
40:23
but
40:24
I
40:24
really
40:24
became
40:25
like,
40:26
I'm
40:26
going
40:26
to
40:26
use
40:27
Nordstrom's
40:28
as
40:28
my
40:28
reference
40:29
because
40:29
it's
40:30
very
40:30
simple,
40:30
it's
40:31
very
40:31
neat,
40:31
it's
40:31
very
40:31
tidy,
40:32
A
40:33
little
40:33
bit
40:33
of
40:33
modern,
40:33
but
40:34
very
40:34
traditional
40:35
still.
40:36
Yeah.
40:36
For
40:36
the
40:37
last
40:38
couple
40:38
of
40:38
decades,
40:39
like,
40:39
I'm
40:39
like,
40:39
no
40:40
simple
40:40
white
40:41
lights,
40:41
silver
40:41
balls,
40:42
maybe
40:43
some
40:43
gold
40:43
ones,
40:43
some
40:44
red
40:44
bows.
40:45
Good
40:45
to
40:45
go.
40:46
Versus
40:47
in
40:47
my
40:48
20s,
40:48
I
40:48
was
40:48
like,
40:49
buy
40:49
every
40:49
color
40:50
of
40:50
everything
40:50
you
40:51
can
40:51
and
40:51
just
40:52
throw
40:52
it
40:53
against
40:53
the
40:53
wall.
40:53
It's
40:54
great.
40:54
More,
40:55
More.
40:55
Yeah,
40:56
yeah.
40:56
I'm
40:57
on
40:57
mission.
40:58
I
40:58
know
40:58
where
40:58
they
40:58
are.
40:58
I'm
40:58
gonna
40:58
go
40:58
get
40:59
them
40:59
today
40:59
for
40:59
my
40:59
tree.
41:00
The
41:00
old
41:00
fashioned
41:01
70s.
41:01
Bubble.
41:02
Lights.
41:03
Nice.
41:05
That's
41:05
fun.
41:06
The
41:06
ones
41:06
that
41:06
just.
41:07
That
41:07
look
41:07
like
41:07
the
41:07
candle
41:08
and
41:08
they
41:08
bubble
41:08
up,
41:08
it's
41:09
like,
41:09
all
41:09
right,
41:10
we
41:10
have
41:10
two
41:10
trees
41:11
that's
41:11
going
41:11
on
41:11
the
41:11
traditional
41:12
one.
41:12
We're
41:12
gonna
41:12
make
41:12
that
41:12
one
41:13
feel
41:13
kind
41:13
of
41:13
more
41:13
like
41:14
what
41:14
a
41:14
childhood
41:15
tree
41:15
would
41:15
be,
41:15
but
41:16
a
41:16
modern
41:16
version
41:17
of
41:17
it.
41:18
Nice.
41:18
You
41:19
know?
41:19
That's.
41:19
So
41:19
neat.
41:20
Child
41:20
of
41:20
the
41:20
70s
41:20
and
41:21
80s.
41:21
It
41:21
works.
41:22
It
41:22
works.
41:23
Wendy,
41:24
we
41:24
have
41:24
run
41:24
out
41:24
of
41:24
time
41:25
today
41:25
already
41:26
for
41:26
this
41:26
first
41:27
hour,
41:27
and
41:27
I
41:28
love
41:28
talking
41:28
with
41:28
this.
41:28
You
41:29
and
41:29
I
41:29
could
41:29
talk,
41:29
could.
41:29
Johnny
41:30
here
41:30
could
41:30
talk
41:30
about
41:31
decorating
41:31
for
41:32
the
41:32
holidays
41:32
for
41:32
another
41:32
hour,
41:33
but
41:33
we'll
41:33
spare.
41:34
Everyone
41:34
that.
41:35
Just
41:35
go
41:35
simple,
41:36
keep.
43:24
It
43:24
simple.
43:25
Get
43:25
quality
43:26
stuff.
43:26
Throw
41:39
some
43:27
freshness
43:27
in
43:28
there.
43:28
Right.
43:28
Make
43:28
it.
43:28
Smell.
43:29
Good.
43:29
Sure.
43:30
Absolutely.
43:31
Wendy,
43:31
how
43:32
do
43:32
people
43:32
find
43:32
you
43:32
if
43:33
this
43:33
is
43:33
the
43:33
first
43:33
time
43:33
hearing
43:34
it?
43:34
Because
43:34
you
43:35
are
43:35
such
43:35
a
43:35
rock
43:36
star
43:36
in
43:36
the
43:36
design
43:36
community,
43:37
I
43:37
love
43:37
having
43:37
you.
43:37
On
43:37
here.
43:38
That's
43:39
nice
43:39
of
43:39
you
43:39
to
43:39
say,
43:40
Wendy
43:40
at
43:41
Wendy
43:41
Glacier
43:42
Interiors,
43:43
G
43:43
L
43:43
A
43:43
I
43:44
S
43:44
T
43:45
R.
43:45
And
43:45
on
43:46
Instagram,
43:46
it's
43:47
just
43:47
Wendy
43:47
Glacier
43:48
Interiors.
43:48
It's
43:49
easy
43:49
to
43:49
find
43:49
and
43:50
you'll
43:50
see
43:51
all
43:51
the
43:51
wacky
43:51
situations
43:52
we
43:52
get
43:53
ourselves
43:53
into
43:54
with
43:54
outstanding
43:55
contractors
43:55
who
43:56
enjoy
43:56
working
43:56
with
43:57
us.
43:58
I
43:59
imagine.
43:59
I
44:00
imagine
44:00
you
44:00
have
44:01
good
44:01
ones.
44:01
We
44:01
would
44:01
do
44:02
fine
44:02
together.
44:02
We
44:03
would
44:03
get
44:03
along.
44:03
We
44:04
would.
44:04
It
44:04
would
44:04
be
44:04
fun.
44:05
Let
44:06
me
44:06
know
44:06
when
44:06
you
44:06
work
44:06
on
44:07
a
44:07
big
44:07
beautiful
44:07
house
44:08
down
44:08
in
44:08
the
44:08
Caribbean
44:09
and
44:09
I'll
44:09
come.
44:09
Help
44:09
you.
44:10
Oh
44:10
that
44:11
sounds
44:11
like
44:11
of
44:11
a
44:11
bunch
44:11
blast.
44:12
Let's.
44:12
Do
44:12
it.
44:13
We
44:13
have
44:13
plans.
44:13
For
44:13
that.
44:14
We're
44:14
talking
44:14
about
44:14
this.
44:15
Yeah.
44:15
Yeah
44:15
that's
44:16
cool.
44:16
Plans
44:17
around
44:17
the
44:18
house
44:18
going.
44:18
International.
44:19
Yeah.
44:19
I.
44:19
Love
44:20
it.
44:20
Yeah,
44:20
yeah.
44:21
Stay
44:22
tuned.
44:22
You
44:22
are
44:22
absolutely
44:23
invited.
44:23
For.
44:24
Sure.
44:24
Absolutely.
44:25
Guys,
44:26
I
44:26
do
44:26
wish
44:27
you
44:27
really
44:27
happy
44:28
holidays.
44:28
Thanks
44:28
so
44:29
much
44:29
for
44:29
having
44:29
me
44:29
back.
44:30
It
44:30
was.
44:30
Really
44:30
fun.
44:31
Awesome.
44:32
Wendy,
44:32
thanks
44:32
for
44:32
coming
44:33
on
44:33
today.
44:34
I'm
44:34
Eric
44:34
G
44:35
and
44:35
for
44:35
Johnny
44:36
you've
44:36
been
44:36
listening
44:36
to
44:36
a
44:37
record
44:37
around.
44:37
