- 0:00We're going to talk today about Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne,
- 0:04and you might hear some background noise.
- 0:05We got some Fortnite playing in the background by Sophie. You probably can't
- 0:09hear her back there, but it might be coming through. I don't know,
- 0:12but I wanted to talk about this.
- 0:13Ozzy Osbourne recently passed away on July 22nd, and then Hulk Hogan passed
- 0:20away today, July 24th, 2025.
- 0:23I don't think anyone is ever ready for it. I think everyone is always caught off guard.
- 0:27Death comes at a very hidden time for all of us and hulk hogan he was just getting
- 0:35ready he was 71 years old and he was just about to release this new i saw this
- 0:40thing that he was it looks like almost given hope and an opportunity for wrestlers
- 0:45that wanted to do kind of what he did,
- 0:48and this kind of program he was getting set up and i just saw he he's like going
- 0:51to do like a The first event was going to be at the end of August,
- 0:54but Hulk Hogan dead at 71 years old after cardiac arrest. Latest updates.
- 1:01And then Ozzy, Ozzy, he was, how old was he?
- 1:05Born in 1948, 76 years old.
- 1:10So Hulk Hogan, 71, and Ozzy Osbourne, 76 years old.
- 1:16Oh, man. Sophie, did you know much about either one of them,
- 1:19Hulk Hogan or Ozzy Osbourne? Sophie said she didn't know really much about either one of them.
- 1:23You're more familiar, I'm assuming, with Hulk Hogan, right?
- 1:27Was he still kind of in the wrestling game when you were watching it with WWE?
- 1:32A little bit. I mean, you saw him every now and then? Yeah.
- 1:35I wanted to talk about this because both of these guys, they were very different,
- 1:42it seemed like, in the way that they conducted themselves, the way I hadn't
- 1:46kept up with Ozzy since his show back in the early 2000s.
- 1:50He was pretty widely known on the Osborne show that they were doing for a long time.
- 1:56And he was always just, I'm mostly drawn to him, as most people are, by his music.
- 2:02His music was very... I thought it was very... He taped the way for a lot of
- 2:08people that are interested in metal music and people that like that genre, that style.
- 2:13And he was authentic. He was real. He was known as the Prince of Darkness,
- 2:17which, I mean, that might not be a claim to fame for a lot of people.
- 2:20A lot of people might not like that necessarily.
- 2:23But overall, I think he owned it.
- 2:26I don't know where he went towards the end of his life if he was
- 2:29still kept kind of that dark kind of attitude or
- 2:32if he was i think he was just a regular guy it was
- 2:35just a lot of just playing a part being a person that kind of because i always
- 2:40hear stories about him in his concerts he would do he was just wild at his concerts
- 2:45and he would i heard that he bit off the head of a bat that's what that's the
- 2:50thing that always stands out to me that he that he did that.
- 2:53Hulk Hogan, on the other hand, I grew up watching Hulk Hogan.
- 2:58He was America's boy. He was America's man.
- 3:01Whenever any Royal Rumble back in the, I think of the 90s, early 90s,
- 3:06late 90s, Hulk Hogan was the guy that was going to go in and he was going to end the Royal Rumble.
- 3:12If he was going in, you knew he was going to take it up, take it all. He was going to win.
- 3:18He was on the other hand, he represented kind of like the United Kingdom.
- 3:24You can definitely tell his accent. He had that accent, that deep drawl he had.
- 3:31I love their show, The Osbournes. That was a good show on MTV.
- 3:36It was very funny. That was when reality TV was just taking its form.
- 3:41It was different. It was unique.
- 3:44It was something that there was a storyline happening every episode with his
- 3:48wife, his children, It was funny.
- 3:51He and Ozzy was just kind of out of it most of the time.
- 3:55He was just walking into any situation and he was just, you know,
- 4:00he had that Ozzy aura about him that was just different than anyone, different than anyone.
- 4:06And he owned it. He lived it.
- 4:08I mean, now I just think about I don't know where they are.
- 4:12Where they were at in their lives, especially Ozzy Osbourne.
- 4:15I don't know his kind of his personal relationship with the Lord,
- 4:18how he like, I don't know anything about his religious beliefs, any beliefs that he had.
- 4:23Hulk Hogan, on the other hand, I do know that he was a professing Christian.
- 4:28He was a person that claimed Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
- 4:32And I just, I was just watching videos about this because this is out there now.
- 4:35He was like, whatever I'm going to do, I'm going to do it 110%. I am all in brother.
- 4:42And that's what Hulk Hogan was. He was all in when he embraced the Lord.
- 4:48So I pray that both of these guys are with the Lord right now.
- 4:52We don't, God knows everyone's hearts. God knows where people are at.
- 4:56And it's not for us to even, it doesn't
- 4:59even matter for us on this side of eternity, on this side of heaven.
- 5:03You know, we can't, we don't even need to really speculate
- 5:06about that because we will be reunited
- 5:09with with our family our friends in heaven
- 5:13you know for anyone to trust in the lord so i i
- 5:15hope that both of them were you know
- 5:18i don't know what ozzy professed i don't know if he professed to be any type
- 5:23of faith or not or what a lot of his heavy metal i mean you could say what definitely
- 5:29went against the grain of religiosity and faith having black sabbath i mean just,
- 5:36I was I wasn't alive when he was doing all that kind of stuff,
- 5:41but even if I was watching it, or even had gone to those concerts,
- 5:45I wouldn't have put two and two together I wouldn't have understood like and
- 5:48I don't even know if he really understood the depths of Black Sabbath calling it that
- 5:53if it was just something to be sparked difference, be different than everyone
- 5:57or if he was really if it really was something dark really was something dark,
- 6:03I don't know because I think a lot of people.
- 6:06We are all dark everyone is dark in
- 6:09in a sense you know we all we it's it
- 6:12calls us we are darkness you know until god shines on us god we are darkness
- 6:16so it's like we all have that in us and even if you become a christian you're
- 6:21still gonna have a little dark you're gonna probably a lot of darkness still
- 6:24in you know that so him being called the wow that is loud sophie that was loud.
- 6:31Try not to be that was that was very loud yeah
- 6:34so i mean i don't know where he where he stands i don't know
- 6:37where he his views or the kelly
- 6:40osborne i wanted to see she said break silence on
- 6:43dad aussie's death she said i lost my best friend
- 6:46i just remember both of them os kelly and
- 6:49then the other one i liked kelly a lot
- 6:52i did for some reason i liked kelly a lot especially on
- 6:55their show the osbornes and her whole
- 6:58like the way she looks completely changed from when she was on that show compared
- 7:03to where she is now uh she's always been different she's always had kind of
- 7:06the crazy hair the different dues the different all that and but it's you can't
- 7:12it's hard not to love anyone when you hear that british accent that british accent can just win
- 7:18anyone over so stelly who is stelly stelly 38 i don't know who that is no kelly
- 7:25Did she change her name to Stella?
- 7:27So it was Jack. Jack was the one. That's what it was.
- 7:30Jack was the boy. He was the son of Ozzy. But, I mean, you think of Hulk Hogan
- 7:35and you think of Ozzy Osbourne.
- 7:37I mean, one is hardcore America. The other one just got the sweetest British accent ever.
- 7:44You know, and he does seem like his drugs took a toll on him.
- 7:48You know, I don't know all of that, you know. But anyone that's in rock,
- 7:52that was a rock star, it would have been hard not to be heavily into drugs.
- 7:58I mean, I think a lot of people take drugs just to get by. A lot of people just
- 8:02take drugs just to survive sometimes, just to numb the pain that we all have.
- 8:07We all have a lot of pain going on in here, and sometimes drugs is the only...
- 8:12The only thing keeping us sane, I guess. I don't know.
- 8:16I know for me, medically, taking prescription drugs, I hated that because it
- 8:22puts you in a different world, puts you in a different trance.
- 8:25You're no longer tied to reality. You're just numb to this world.
- 8:30You're not experiencing it. You're not in the game. And sometimes you just want
- 8:35to check out. Sometimes you just want to check out.
- 8:37So I'm bouncing back between Hulk Hogan because I like both
- 8:40of these guys a lot Ozzy my some of my
- 8:43favorite songs or Ozzy Osbourne song Ozzy
- 8:47Osbourne songs I I go to
- 8:50as my favorite all time is the mama I'm
- 8:53coming home that one just puts me it takes me
- 8:56back it takes me back to just a a time
- 8:59you know just when I was just free falling
- 9:02and just flying down and just just trying
- 9:05to make sense of life and you know it's just
- 9:07you you go you get that nostalgia hearing that
- 9:10song mama i'm coming home man i
- 9:14mean a lot of the other songs i would i i after when
- 9:17i heard that he had passed away i did go to trying to
- 9:20listen to just some of the other stuff i really didn't get into
- 9:23a lot of it i know his biggest one ever was crazy train that
- 9:26was the one that like that was the one that you if you're
- 9:29going out on a football field you're listening to crazy train
- 9:32and then the whole i couldn't probably name half of
- 9:35the songs he did but uh and he did so like he was
- 9:38doing like probably like 70s 80s you know and then in the 90s he's probably
- 9:43cooling off he was a part of like black sabbath was not just him as any rock
- 9:49star group they all start together and then the big guy the name usually goes
- 9:55off and does his own thing.
- 9:57And I think that's what happened with Ozzy. You know, he he became he was the
- 10:01guy, the face, and he didn't stay with his Black Sabbath crew.
- 10:06That's what I'm guessing. You know, I wasn't I wasn't watching whenever he was
- 10:10there. I wasn't alive when Ozzy Osbourne was a part of Black Sabbath.
- 10:14So I couldn't name the drummer. I couldn't name the guitarist.
- 10:17I couldn't name any of that stuff.
- 10:19But when Ozzy Osbourne, he stepped out, he took a leap of faith and he stepped
- 10:23out on his own and he became Ozzy, Ozzy. And then Hulk Hogan,
- 10:28man, he, I just, Hulk Hogan, he did some, he did some movies in his heyday.
- 10:32I remember he was doing some movies, you know, Tropic Thunder and Suburban Commando.
- 10:38And wrestling has went ups and downs. It has been a rollercoaster ride.
- 10:43There's been some things that are great, some things that are just,
- 10:45you know, it's, you know, just something to watch.
- 10:49But, like, I think the best wrestling ever was definitely with Hulk Hogan.
- 10:53When he was doing it, he was like the wonder boy.
- 10:57He was the guy that saved the day. He was the hero.
- 11:00He was that size 13 in your face, you know, and he just thrown up those guns, you know.
- 11:08Nobody had guns like Hulk Hogan. Nobody had guns like Hulk Hogan, you know.
- 11:13And he probably got into the steroids, you know. Everyone did.
- 11:18I'm assuming. I'm assuming he did. But to live to about.
- 11:2371 I mean he still
- 11:26lived a long time He still looked good At the end of his life He wasn't just
- 11:32In a wheelchair He was walking around still doing good He was still doing business
- 11:37And he was still doing a lot of good things for America He loved America And
- 11:43like I said earlier He loved Jesus.
- 11:46And that's the most important thing But I can remember him running out there for the Royal Rumbles.
- 11:53And it's like when you when Hulk Hogan stepped on the stage, game over, game over.
- 11:59You know, he was the one that people got behind. He was the one that just inspired the crowds. He was.
- 12:05This is crazy. I did not realize he is. He was 300 pounds, 300 pounds,
- 12:11six, seven, 302 pounds. That's crazy.
- 12:15That is a big man. He was also in the Rocky Was it Rocky 4?
- 12:21It was one of the Rockies Was it Rocky 3 he was in?
- 12:25But he looked like, compared to Sylvester Stallone, and Sylvester Stallone is a pretty loaded guy.
- 12:31Hulk Hogan got on there, and he looked like 7'5", you know.
- 12:35But as we can see here, he was 6'7". So he wasn't over 7'0",
- 12:38but still a beast of a man.
- 12:41And I just remember Hulk Hogan, whenever he was in wrestling,
- 12:45and he was the good guy. He was the protagonist.
- 12:48He was the guy you rooted for. And then he went off the rails.
- 12:52You know, I can say, you could say it's a little bit fixed.
- 12:55But he went off the rails when he went to the NWO, and he became the bad boy.
- 13:01He became a bad guy, you know?
- 13:03And those guys, they were the bad crew, the bad posse that was out there.
- 13:09But it was a role, as I came to learn later on in life.
- 13:12Wrestling is kind of, it's fixed. It's not real in a sense.
- 13:17It's not fake. It's not fake.
- 13:20It's real, but it's fixed. Both of these guys, I know, I mean,
- 13:24they're both different. They both led a lot different lives.
- 13:27They both came from different backgrounds, and they went different directions.
- 13:31One was a wrestler. One was a musical artist, but they were both entertainers.
- 13:37That was the biggest thing. They were big entertainers.
- 13:39They wanted to give everyone a show, a good show.
- 13:43Probably better everyone else's life. Make everyone else feel good about life.
- 13:48You know, I hope one day we will see them both again in heaven and be with them.
- 13:54You know, I don't know. Like I said, Hulk Hogan, he was a professing Christian.
- 13:59I don't know what Ozzy Osbourne professed, but either like I don't want to just
- 14:05tread lightly over that and just say, oh, either way, it doesn't really matter
- 14:09because at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters.
- 14:13So it is just it's it is weird.
- 14:16You know, people die every day, but people and people go on,
- 14:20you know, and you just when they're not on, they're not on the screen.
- 14:24You just forget about them.
- 14:25You don't think they're out. They don't exist anymore.
- 14:28Whereas people, there's so many famous people out there. You know,
- 14:31they're just not doing their thing anymore. They've cooled down.
- 14:34Their careers are slowing down.
- 14:35And then we hear later on that they pass away. But these two guys were people
- 14:40that were very good at what they did Very good at what they did And they were very unique,
- 14:47talented individuals And I'm glad
- 14:50that we got to experience Hulk Hogan And I'm
- 14:53glad we got to experience Ozzy Osbourne Because
- 14:56both of them were amazing people And
- 15:00amazing artists And creators
- 15:04And entertainers you know before this
- 15:07whole new wave that we were stepping into of like
- 15:10this is the internet on hyper
- 15:14speed hyper drive you know they were doing
- 15:16it when it was just a one eye in the sky and
- 15:20they were like Ozzy Osbourne just being the face on a concert out on the stage
- 15:26and doing his thing you know and he was that was when rock was rock hardcore
- 15:32metal he was doing it like hardcore metal and he made a name for himself.
- 15:39Just, yeah, just a following, a huge following, a huge, just people wanted to
- 15:44see Ozzy and he, I mean, both of these guys, you could say anything that they
- 15:48were even into their late in life.
- 15:50People were very always interested in them. They were always doing something.
- 15:55They were all like, till, till about the day they died, they were always doing
- 16:00something. It seemed like something that was making people's lives better,
- 16:04trying to do something to entertain, inspire.
- 16:08So like I said, I'm very glad we got to experience Ozzie and we got to experience Hulk Hogan.
- 16:15I hope one day that I hope they're with the Lord, but they led very different
- 16:21lives and they were both very different human beings.
- 16:23But I'm thankful we had them.
- 16:26I'm thankful God gave them to us and we got to see them.
- 16:30We got to live with them We got to experience both
- 16:33of them So I hope you I hope you
- 16:36realize and you're You were able
- 16:38to experience the The careers that they had and you were able to watch them
- 16:41You were able to just live it Be a part of it because I don't want to just Like
- 16:46anyone you know anyone passes away It's it's a it's a It's a very it's a tough
- 16:51thing For the ones left behind it's not tough for the ones That leave but it's
- 16:55tough for the ones that Remain behind,
- 16:57Alright we'll leave it at that have a great day everyone peace.
