- 0:23chickens. Hey, good morning everybody.
- 0:29From the chicken coop, So, today we are continuing our series on
- 0:33stress. And today, we are talking about
- 0:36food and people would think food.
- 0:40I mean, like, how could food add to stress?
- 0:42Well, you would be surprised, people have so many food
- 0:46triggers, it's crazy. And if you don't do a good job,
- 0:50monitoring yourself. Just like with all the other
- 0:52steps of this and being aware going to get sick of hearing me,
- 0:55say it, but you've got to be aware.
- 0:57There are certain things that bother us.
- 0:58Some people will eat something and they will.
- 1:00Definitely puff up. That's my favorite word.
- 1:02Oh that I ate that and made me puff up.
- 1:04Well, I got inflammation from something.
- 1:06I ate because maybe it had too much salt, maybe it had
- 1:09something else in it, maybe it had gluten and that bothered me,
- 1:13who knows? But being aware of these things
- 1:15is the only way you can really fix them.
- 1:18So, again, we're looking for awareness in this in.
- 1:21What you eat, also, Food, dyes are an issue for many, many,
- 1:27many people and food, dyes can cause reactions food.
- 1:31Dyes can make it so that you can't think clear.
- 1:34They can make you think you're all hyped up.
- 1:37They can give you the instability of feeling anxious
- 1:42just in themselves food. Additives are a huge problem in
- 1:47our world and we have to be super, super careful.
- 1:50This is I'm a little bit nutty with my food.
- 1:52I have to admit For me clean food.
- 1:56I mean obviously I go to the lengths, I go to taking you know
- 2:00the extreme care of my chickens because I'm eating those eggs
- 2:04and I want those eggs to be as healthy as they possibly can.
- 2:07I'm not giving them crappy things to eat because I'm going
- 2:09to end up eating it. And when we start to know where
- 2:13our food comes from, what's in our food, it starts to have a
- 2:16huge dramatic effect on our bodies.
- 2:19So you have to look at the food additives that you're taking in.
- 2:23You have to look at it. Coffees teas, am I drinking too
- 2:26much of this? Am I adding this into late in my
- 2:29day so that I can't function at night.
- 2:33This is causing me problems, drinking a large amount of Pop,
- 2:38soda, whatever you might call it.
- 2:40Oh boy, that's an issue in itself.
- 2:42I know so many of my clients, we've had two over the years
- 2:45detox from the intake of soda. It's a struggle, it's addictive,
- 2:51and you've got to get it out of your life because it's not Going
- 2:55to help you with stress. And, you know, again, this is
- 3:00such a big deal about how these little things show up in stack
- 3:04and really stress comes down to its stacking effect.
- 3:08It might not be just one thing. It's like lots of little things.
- 3:12So when you really look at it, nine times out of 10 with my
- 3:15clients, when we're talking about reducing stress and going
- 3:18through all of this, you know, to make our make everybody
- 3:22healthy again. It It is a stacking effect, its
- 3:26multiple items, not just one. So you have to be a detective.
- 3:30You have to really think about what's happening so that you
- 3:33function at a high level to decode it.
- 3:36You know, it's like going into one of those, those rooms where
- 3:40you get locked in you get, and then you have to solve the
- 3:43mystery in order to get out and it's not just one clue.
- 3:46You know, you have to have many clues in order to get out will
- 3:50often. This is exactly the case we're
- 3:52dealing with when it comes to stress.
- 3:54So Keep that in mind. Multiple things are probably
- 3:58stacking up with the food, with the environment, with the
- 4:02conditions of what you're doing, lots of little pieces of the
- 4:05puzzle. So, back to one of the biggest
- 4:09things about food, I can tell you is eating too late because
- 4:11oh my gosh, when your body is so hunkered down and having to, you
- 4:17know, get rid of and digest food.
- 4:20It's so hard to sleep. Well, you might fall asleep for
- 4:24A short period of time, two hours and then you're Wide
- 4:27Awake. Well, that's because whatever
- 4:29you ate is now giving you energy so having it timed and having it
- 4:33be able to get through your system to a certain point, so
- 4:36that you can go to sleep is essential, can't stress that
- 4:40enough ultimately, super essential to having it work.
- 4:44So looking at all of this decoding it with your food is
- 4:49super time-consuming. I want you to know that it's
- 4:52super time-consuming because it takes up you got to Read labels,
- 4:55you've got to think about it. You've got to plan it, but if
- 4:57you are struggling with stress, I can promise you.
- 5:00It's worth the time you're going to put in when you first do it.
- 5:04I will say, one of the best things that you can do is Purge
- 5:07your pantry go in and look at all the things that are causing
- 5:11that have the potential to be causing it.
- 5:13You don't know, pull them all out, put them to the side.
- 5:16Say okay, these are things that have heavy food additives in
- 5:19them. I need to put this over to the
- 5:20side. I need to look about over this
- 5:23and decide. What am I going to do with?
- 5:24All this stuff. Am I going to change it?
- 5:26Look through your refrigerator. Yes it is super time-consuming.
- 5:29I'm coming right out and telling you that and it's worth every
- 5:33bit of it. Because if you can do this for
- 5:34yourself, if you can do this with yourself, I will promise
- 5:39you. You'll have a better healthier
- 5:40body. You'll have a healthier family
- 5:43people in your life, will have a better chance of an encounter
- 5:48with you. That is less stress free because
- 5:50you're going to be handling it up front and you're not going to
- 5:52be staying in that state. That's Just bubbling over all
- 5:55the time. So hopefully this was helpful.
- 5:58You're going to go out and be those food detectives.
- 6:00You're going to figure it out as to what those triggers are, get
- 6:03that cleaned up in your life and it's another piece of the
- 6:06puzzle. And I will see you tomorrow, my
- 6:09friends. I hope you have a blessed day.
- 6:11Bye.
