Taylor Sheridan, creator of “Yellowstone,” is facing a major lawsuit from writer Lauren J. Salkin, who claims she pitched the original concept for “Sovereign Nation” years ago—and that Sheridan stole its core ideas to build his mega-hit. Salkin, who spent a decade developing her pitch before submitting it in 2016-2017, alleges direct copying of plot points, characters, and creative decisions.
