- 0:00Speaker 1: You're waking up to Denver's Morning.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Show with Nina and Josh.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Mix 100.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Good morning from Denver's Morning Show. I'm Nina Blanco. We
- 0:09Speaker 2: got Josh in the studio. Happy Tuesday.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Happy Tuesday and first day of fall, I guess.
- 0:13Speaker 2: First day of fall. You didn't even reel.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Snuck up on us.
- 0:17Speaker 2: It's today.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Or on me, I guess.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yes, on you, yeah.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Yeah, not anybody else.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Congratulations really quick to Marlena from Brighton. She won the
- 0:26Speaker 3: Harry Styles Madison Square Garden trip to New York City yesterday.
- 0:31Speaker 3: It was incredible getting to talk to her. It was
- 0:33Speaker 3: like one of those things where she obviously wasn't expecting it.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Call her out of the blue. And she was like, really?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Nuh-uh.
- 0:40Speaker 2: For real?
- 0:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, it's one of those things I think it
- 0:42Speaker 1: takes a second to set in. You just won a
- 0:44Speaker 1: prize where you are going for free to New York City,
- 0:48Speaker 1: and not only New York City, but MSG, to go
- 0:50Speaker 1: see Harry Styles. It's like one after another after another.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Of amazing things. You're like, hold on. I need to
- 0:56Speaker 1: sit down for a second. Literally.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Flight, hotel, tickets are all paid for. She gets to
- 1:00Speaker 3: see Harry Styles this year.
- 1:01Speaker 1: That's unreal.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Not everyone can say that. So congratulations.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Very few people can say that. Yeah, that's awesome. Yes.
- 1:07Speaker 3: So she's our latest local winner right here in Brighton, Colorado.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Hi, Marlena. She's listening. I know she is right now.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Congrats to you.
- 1:15Speaker 2: You deserve it.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Seriously.
- 1:16Speaker 3: We got Bruno or Bust coming up for the rest
- 1:19Speaker 3: of this week. We want to send you to go
- 1:21Speaker 3: see Bruno Mars in Colorado Springs tonight. You have a
- 1:24Speaker 3: chance to win at 7 and 8 o'clock this morning
- 1:27Speaker 3: with Josh and I. And these tickets completely sold out.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Completely sold out. Resale is absurd. And if you want
- 1:35Speaker 3: to go, your only chance really is listening to us.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Well, and honestly, this could be probably one of the biggest,
- 1:41Speaker 1: if not the biggest concerts of the year. That's what
- 1:43Speaker 1: I've been hearing. Bruno Mars, a massive, massive talent. Not
- 1:46Speaker 1: only can he sing the pants off of anybody. It's
- 1:49Speaker 1: unbelievable talent. This dude can dance. He can perform. He's
- 1:51Speaker 1: been doing it, I think, since he was like two
- 1:53Speaker 1: or four years old. Since he was a kid.
- 1:54Speaker 2: He was an Elvis impersonator with his dad in Hawaii.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Since he was a child. It's in his blood. It's
- 2:00Speaker 1: in his bones. I cannot wait to see him. He's
- 2:03Speaker 1: one of the best performers of our generation. So yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 1: pretty big deal, right?
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So Bruno or Bust happens at 7 and 8 o'clock today.
- 2:10Speaker 3: And then it doesn't stop there. At 9 o'clock, we
- 2:13Speaker 3: are playing The Voice TV Trivia. We're going to give
- 2:15Speaker 3: you $ 250 if you win.
- 2:18Speaker 1: This is like prize after prize after prize.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Why would you not listen? Tune in today. You can
- 2:23Speaker 1: win a prize virtually every hour on our show, which
- 2:26Speaker 1: is kind of cool, right?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Basically, yes.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Josh, I don't know about you, but I definitely have
- 2:32Speaker 3: a burner account or two, and so do the celebrities, apparently.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Perhaps. I think I have them, but I think I'm
- 2:40Speaker 1: doing it wrong. Why? Just because all my burner accounts
- 2:43Speaker 1: have my name in them.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And I don't know why I did that, but.
- 2:47Speaker 2: That's not how that works.
- 2:48Speaker 1: No, it's not? Am I doing this wrong? Okay.
- 2:49Speaker 3: You're supposed to pretend that you are not you so
- 2:52Speaker 3: that you can creep on other people.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I've been caught.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yes. So Josh doesn't quite have that figured out, but
- 2:59Speaker 2: Channing Tatum might.
- 3:01Speaker 3: So he was accused of creating a fake account, a Finsta,
- 3:04Speaker 3: that was commenting negative things about his ex-fiancee, Zoe Kravitz,
- 3:10Speaker 3: and her current.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Fiancee, Harry Styles.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Oh.
- 3:13Speaker 3: So this was an Instagram account that only followed one person,
- 3:17Speaker 3: Channing Tatum. And Channing reportedly followed this account back. So
- 3:23Speaker 3: after people started calling out Channing, saying like, hey, this
- 3:26Speaker 3: is you, it's clear it's you because you're posting negative
- 3:29Speaker 3: things about your ex, you're just jealous, blah, blah, blah.
- 3:32Speaker 3: He posted a public message to everyone denying that it
- 3:35Speaker 3: was him.
- 3:36Speaker 2: He said, no, no, no, it's not me.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I can't believe anyone would think that I actually did
- 3:40Speaker 3: something like that. But at the same time, I'm like,
- 3:43Speaker 3: I think I believe Channing that it's not him because
- 3:46Speaker 3: why would you be so obvious, Josh?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Like other than putting your name in your finsta.
- 3:51Speaker 3: You can't be the only person that it's following and
- 3:54Speaker 3: vice versa.
- 3:55Speaker 2: You know?
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. Channing's he's 46 now, so
- 3:59Speaker 1: he might be doing it wrong. Just like me.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Cause he doesn't know better.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Well, yeah. And if it's only him following and following back. Yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 1: And then I feel like you have to, you know,
- 4:08Speaker 1: make a press release of like, that's not me. Like
- 4:11Speaker 1: maybe this one, like if it's, you know, it's one
- 4:13Speaker 1: of those things, like if it's really not you just
- 4:14Speaker 1: kind of sit it out and be like, Hey, I'm
- 4:15Speaker 1: just going to let it handle itself. Like, do you
- 4:17Speaker 1: think that, going to social media and being like, I promise, guys,
- 4:20Speaker 1: that's not me at all, that that makes you look
- 4:22Speaker 1: more guilty?
- 4:23Speaker 2: Maybe. A little bit. Maybe, and he was very defensive
- 4:26Speaker 2: in the message.
- 4:26Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It wasn't like a formal, nice thing. He was like, ha, ha, ha, no,
- 4:31Speaker 3: it's not me. I can't believe you would think that.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. That's interesting. We'll keep
- 4:37Speaker 1: an eye on that one, definitely. There is way more
- 4:40Speaker 1: drama happening as well in the world of Secret Lives
- 4:43Speaker 1: of Mormon Wives. Are you a fan of this show?
- 4:45Speaker 1: I feel like everybody watches this.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I feel like everyone watches it, and people tell me
- 4:49Speaker 3: to watch it, but it's one of those things where
- 4:51Speaker 3: I've never seen a single season, so I'm like, am
- 4:54Speaker 3: I too far gone, you know?
- 4:55Speaker 1: Well, oddly enough, I've been watching season five, so season
- 4:58Speaker 1: five recently came out, and Taylor Frankie Paul is one
- 5:02Speaker 1: of the biggest stars of this. yeah many reasons i
- 5:05Speaker 1: think i think again i have not seen all the
- 5:07Speaker 1: scenes i'm watching because of my girlfriend so let me
- 5:10Speaker 1: uh i might get i know right i'm totally totally
- 5:12Speaker 1: into it when she comes over i'm like turn on
- 5:14Speaker 1: secret love um i think taylor frankie paul is one
- 5:17Speaker 1: of the like kind of founding members of mom talk
- 5:20Speaker 1: uh don't quote me on that again i'm watching season
- 5:23Speaker 1: five however she has been in the news over and
- 5:25Speaker 1: over and over again she had some domestic violence charges
- 5:29Speaker 1: against her earlier this year. There's just drama surrounding this girl. Well,
- 5:33Speaker 1: they are trying to film season six right now. Season
- 5:35Speaker 1: five was just released and more drama is happening here.
- 5:38Speaker 1: She's already said, I'm out. I don't need to be
- 5:41Speaker 1: a part of this. I'm being bullied, which by the way,
- 5:43Speaker 1: if you're a fully grown adult, why are you bullying people?
- 5:46Speaker 2: No, you shouldn't be bullying people, for sure.
- 5:49Speaker 1: What is happening? So she said that the other stars
- 5:52Speaker 1: of the show are bullying her, and there's one star
- 5:55Speaker 1: that's like, I will not continue. It's Michaela Matthews. I
- 5:57Speaker 1: will not continue the show because of one person being here.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Alluding to Taylor, Frankie, Paul. There's just drama. And I
- 6:04Speaker 1: don't understand. I get it. Like, it's so part of
- 6:06Speaker 1: this reality life of TV.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It's just something that everybody gets caught up in. And Nina,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm falling victim to this. Are you? I'm into it.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It's so funny how I have not seen the other
- 6:17Speaker 1: four seasons beforehand. But just watching this one, I've watched
- 6:21Speaker 1: like two episodes.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And I'm like.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I get it.
- 6:23Speaker 1: This is interesting. Like the lives they live, it's just
- 6:27Speaker 1: because there's such a, not a stigma, but there is
- 6:30Speaker 1: something that goes along with the Mormon lifestyle and how
- 6:33Speaker 1: they don't follow it at all. But yet they kind
- 6:37Speaker 1: of do. And there's rules and regulations and there's so
- 6:39Speaker 1: many loopholes to get around. Like, it's so funny to
- 6:42Speaker 1: see how these women and their husbands or boyfriends interact. It's,
- 6:46Speaker 1: it's addicting. Like it really is. So I'm kind of
- 6:48Speaker 1: keeping up with this whole Taylor, Frankie, Paul thing, just
- 6:51Speaker 1: because like, I can't imagine living your life every single
- 6:54Speaker 1: day where you just love the drama so much that
- 6:57Speaker 1: you need to be involved somehow.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I mean, don't get me wrong.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I too love the drama, but I love watching it
- 7:04Speaker 3: from afar.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I don't want to be a part of it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: God, I don't want to be a part of this
- 7:07Speaker 1: at all. Like if I was a husband or a
- 7:09Speaker 1: boyfriend in this life.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I can't even imagine living that. They have this whole
- 7:13Speaker 1: thing where they go to retreats now of their household
- 7:17Speaker 1: just so that they all stay together and more drama ensues.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And then there are people that have slept together with
- 7:22Speaker 1: each other and then it's a mess. It is the
- 7:26Speaker 1: craziest thing. It's like college but for adults. It's so
- 7:30Speaker 1: funny the drama that follows it. So we'll definitely be
- 7:32Speaker 1: keeping up with the Taylor-Frankie-Paul thing because I'm sure there's
- 7:35Speaker 1: much more to come. As of right now, she's talking
- 7:37Speaker 1: about how Maybe she won't be a part of season six.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But then again, money talks. So I don't know. We'll
- 7:42Speaker 1: see what happens.
- 7:43Speaker 2: We'll see with that one right there.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yesterday, Josh, I had a situation where I was completely embarrassed.
- 7:51Speaker 3: You know how a lot of moms and dads out there,
- 7:54Speaker 3: you got your kids and you're going out somewhere public
- 7:56Speaker 3: and you spend a lot of money on.
- 7:57Speaker 2: These kids, right?
- 7:58Speaker 1: You do.
- 7:59Speaker 2: You absolutely do. And then they go out and embarrass you. Well,
- 8:03Speaker 2: I kind of had that same situation, except I don't
- 8:05Speaker 2: have any kids, but I have dogs.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Uh-huh. I see where this is going. All right.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 8:11Speaker 3: So I need to formally apologize to the two vet
- 8:17Speaker 3: techs and the veterinarian who were working at Lakewood Animal
- 8:20Speaker 3: Hospital yesterday.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Shout out to Lakewood Animal Hospital. Right there on Wadsworth.
- 8:26Speaker 2: So I took my dogs in, routine checkup.
- 8:28Speaker 3: It's just time for their yearly shots, their vaccinations and
- 8:31Speaker 3: stuff like that. And we go in, and my dogs
- 8:33Speaker 3: have never been great with the vet, but they are
- 8:36Speaker 3: increasingly getting worse, and I feel like that's not what
- 8:40Speaker 3: is supposed to happen.
- 8:41Speaker 1: No, they're regressing.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's not what you want.
- 8:44Speaker 2: No.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Okay, you're supposed to get braver as age goes on.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Come on now. Right. Little pooches.
- 8:49Speaker 3: They're getting worse. So I have two dogs, Bonzo and Bowie.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Bowie is the larger dog. We adopted him when he
- 8:56Speaker 3: was three, so we've had him for less time. But
- 8:58Speaker 3: when it comes to going to the vet or going
- 9:01Speaker 3: even to the boarding place or anywhere, he loves it.
- 9:04Speaker 2: He loves an adventure.
- 9:05Speaker 3: He hates other dogs, but he loves an adventure with
- 9:08Speaker 3: other people exploring new places.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Bonzo, on the other hand.
- 9:13Speaker 3: He gets really shy and scared and timid and anxious.
- 9:18Speaker 3: When he leaves our house.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I get that.
- 9:20Speaker 2: When we're in the house, he's like man of the house.
- 9:23Speaker 3: He's like little macho dog, and he runs things.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it is his safe space.
- 9:27Speaker 1: He's comfortable there, yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 3: But when we leave, he turns into a completely different dog.
- 9:32Speaker 3: And so we were at the vet's place. Bowie gets
- 9:36Speaker 3: his shots.
- 9:36Speaker 2: He's okay. He's just a little bit anxious, but he's
- 9:38Speaker 2: just more excited. He's fine. We get it done.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Bonzo, they take him back to go give him his shots.
- 9:44Speaker 3: It's time for him to get his shots in his butt.
- 9:47Speaker 3: and I can hear them out the door. So they
- 9:50Speaker 3: took him into another room, but I can hear.
- 9:52Speaker 2: What is happening, and I just hear his feet scratching
- 9:55Speaker 2: all over the floor. I'm like, oh no, he's thrashing around.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I tried to warn them.
- 10:00Speaker 3: And I'm like oh no so he comes back in
- 10:02Speaker 3: like two minutes later and the vet tech she comes
- 10:06Speaker 3: and she says um yeah so we were not able
- 10:09Speaker 3: to do his shots and he did express his anal
- 10:13Speaker 3: glands and he pooped all.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Over oh no oh my gosh Ew, first of all, ew.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Second of all.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Why? What a way to say that. He expressed his
- 10:28Speaker 1: anal glands.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Wow.
- 10:32Speaker 1: That's very expressive.
- 10:33Speaker 2: That is.
- 10:34Speaker 1: It is. Poor guy.
- 10:35Speaker 3: And it got everywhere, apparently. And I am so sorry
- 10:39Speaker 3: to the vet techs. And they tried to be like, no, no, no.
- 10:41Speaker 2: You'd be surprised.
- 10:42Speaker 1: This happens.
- 10:43Speaker 2: They were like, you'd be surprised. This happens all the time.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'm sure it does.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But I don't want to be the one who did it.
- 10:50Speaker 1: No, because you know you're the one they talk about
- 10:52Speaker 1: the rest of the day.
- 10:52Speaker 2: The rest of the day.
- 10:54Speaker 1: When you leave, they go, oh, that chick and her dogs.
- 10:57Speaker 1: That was so bad.
- 10:59Speaker 2: But it doesn't end there, Josh, because we're there for
- 11:02Speaker 2: the vaccines, right? He needs to have those. They couldn't
- 11:05Speaker 2: do them.
- 11:06Speaker 3: So we have an appointment to go back tomorrow. And
- 11:11Speaker 3: I got some fun new happy.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Pills to give my dog Bonzo.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Oh, he gets the loopy pills?
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yep, he gets loopy pills tomorrow before we go to
- 11:20Speaker 3: the vet. I have to give it to him like
- 11:21Speaker 3: several hours beforehand so they kick in.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Well, yeah. I have to ask you a favor, though.
- 11:25Speaker 1: You have to film that. Because dogs on loopy pills
- 11:29Speaker 1: are hilarious. Like, this is like AFV type thing, you know?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Sometimes they can't walk. Sometimes they act a little... You know, inebriated.
- 11:38Speaker 2: If he's not able to walk, my heart is going
- 11:40Speaker 2: to break.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Oh, I know. I know. You'll be crying in the background.
- 11:43Speaker 1: They're okay. It's all safe. Don't worry. Sometimes their tongue's
- 11:46Speaker 1: hanging way out of the left side of their mouth.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Oh, poor baby.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It's so funny to see them on these loopy pills, though.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You've got to film it, please. Do it for me, Nina.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Do it for me.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I'll do it for you.
- 11:55Speaker 3: It's happening tomorrow, but I'm so sorry to everyone who
- 11:58Speaker 3: was working at Lakewood Animal Hospital yesterday.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I'm sorry my dog pooped on your floor.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Ew.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Well, Josh, I know that you absolutely hate Travis Kelsey,
- 12:09Speaker 3: but we love Taylor Swift so much.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yes.
- 12:12Speaker 2: And we got to talk about this. Okay. Because she
- 12:14Speaker 2: might be the best NFL wife ever.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Oh.
- 12:16Speaker 2: So on Sunday, Kansas City, they were playing the Indy Colts, right?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Yep.
- 12:20Speaker 3: And Taylor, she was there at the game. She was
- 12:23Speaker 3: in the suite with her friends and family, but she
- 12:25Speaker 3: was getting into it. Yeah. Who in hollering, like really
- 12:31Speaker 3: yelling out at the field. She was into the game.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I loved it so much.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Rooting for her man.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Well, and you know what? I feel like this is
- 12:38Speaker 1: a genuine interest. Obviously, it's her husband out on the field,
- 12:41Speaker 1: so I get that. But I think she's actually like
- 12:44Speaker 1: interested in the football going on. Yeah. And I love
- 12:47Speaker 1: that because I feel like there are a lot of
- 12:49Speaker 1: fake football fan wives and girlfriends out there.
- 12:51Speaker 2: They don't really know what's happening.
- 12:53Speaker 1: The wags out there that don't really know. And she's
- 12:54Speaker 1: like invested. Yeah. And she was a football fan before this,
- 12:57Speaker 1: which I love. And so I don't think she's doing
- 12:59Speaker 1: this just for show, which I feel like, you know,
- 13:02Speaker 1: a lot of celebrity couples could be doing. Right, right.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Which I really love. And I feel like if I
- 13:06Speaker 1: felt like she was faking it, I would not appreciate
- 13:09Speaker 1: it as much.
- 13:10Speaker 2: As much, right.
- 13:11Speaker 3: And Taylor Swift, she's always been very animated, you know,
- 13:13Speaker 3: at every single award show. The camera's on her because
- 13:16Speaker 3: she's dancing and she's singing along and she's having a
- 13:18Speaker 3: good time.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And I think that's the thing here. Taylor loves to
- 13:21Speaker 2: have a good time.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:23Speaker 3: At one point, Travis made a play and she was
- 13:26Speaker 3: seen pointing to her ring, screaming.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Out like, that's my husband!
- 13:30Speaker 3: It was so good, that video has been going viral
- 13:33Speaker 3: all over the place, I just love it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: What do they call that? Living your best life, right?
- 13:36Speaker 2: Exactly, exactly. And it's just Taylor Swift, she's one of
- 13:40Speaker 2: the sweetest celebrities. out there.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Her mom was at the game and she was seen,
- 13:46Speaker 3: she saw a little girl in the crowd that was
- 13:47Speaker 3: nearby who had a poster specifically for Taylor Swift. And
- 13:52Speaker 3: Taylor's mom took the poster, brought it into the suite,
- 13:55Speaker 3: Taylor signed it, and then gave it back to the
- 13:57Speaker 3: little girl.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Like, this is the best thing.
- 13:59Speaker 1: She's a good human. Yes!
- 14:01Speaker 3: Honestly, Taylor Swift is the best thing to happen to
- 14:03Speaker 3: the Chiefs because half their ticket sales now are to.
- 14:07Speaker 2: See Taylor Swift.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Okay, so that's what I was just going to ask.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I just thought of this. Now, I wonder if their seats...
- 14:12Speaker 1: where like around the Taylor Swift seat or suite is.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I wonder if those are more expensive now because people
- 14:19Speaker 1: want to literally like try to get Taylor's attention.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 14:22Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Like the seats in section
- 14:23Speaker 1: like 205, which are usually cheaper.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I totally get what you're saying.
- 14:27Speaker 3: And I really wonder if Taylor Swift stays in the
- 14:30Speaker 3: same suite every time.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I would think security-wise, I would think.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It's a friends and family suite, wouldn't it be?
- 14:36Speaker 3: Well, I get that, but there's several of those types
- 14:38Speaker 3: of suite in the stadium, and I would think for security-wise,
- 14:41Speaker 3: maybe she switches it up every game, because otherwise, yeah,
- 14:43Speaker 3: that's exactly what's going to happen. And, like, don't get
- 14:46Speaker 3: me wrong, the Taylor Swift section, I'm sure, is a
- 14:48Speaker 3: lot of.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Fun, but.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Do you want that?
- 14:51Speaker 1: I just know they sell sweets the entire season to
- 14:54Speaker 1: other companies and things like that. So I don't know.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Maybe they do. Maybe she's that big of a deal.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I mean, obviously, I know how big she is. Right.
- 15:00Speaker 2: It says Taylor we're talking about.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't know. That's interesting. I don't know. Anyway, from
- 15:04Speaker 1: Taylor to Carrie Underwood. Carrie Underwood is in the news
- 15:06Speaker 1: now because she is thinking about putting out a new album.
- 15:10Speaker 1: But this is not her typical country album that she
- 15:13Speaker 1: wants to put out. She said... She's thinking about putting
- 15:16Speaker 1: out a rock album.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Carrie Underwood?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Carrie Underwood. So she's actually done this a lot. She's
- 15:21Speaker 1: toured with Guns N' Roses. She just, like two weeks ago,
- 15:24Speaker 1: did a Limp Bizkit cover. Carrie goes hard, okay? So
- 15:29Speaker 1: don't get me wrong here. According to TMZ, she's been
- 15:31Speaker 1: getting guidance from Axl Rose. Carrie's loved rock music, and
- 15:36Speaker 1: she said over the years she's covered many songs, so
- 15:38Speaker 1: This is nothing really new for her. Would you listen
- 15:42Speaker 1: to a Carrie Underwood rock album?
- 15:43Speaker 2: I mean, she has a powerful voice.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I think I would give it a try, but because
- 15:48Speaker 3: I'm interested.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's interesting. She even joined Guns N' Roses actually
- 15:52Speaker 1: this past weekend in Atlanta, I believe. She did tour
- 15:55Speaker 1: dates with them a couple of years ago. She's also
- 15:58Speaker 1: sang with Axl Rose again at Stagecoach. She's not leaving
- 16:02Speaker 1: the country world, she said. She's not doing a Taylor
- 16:04Speaker 1: Swift and going from country to rock.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:07Speaker 1: But, however, she said she just likes to kind of
- 16:09Speaker 1: push the limits of music, which I get. She's been
- 16:11Speaker 1: doing country for decades now, you know? She has.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you, as an artist, want to.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Kind of break free from that for at least one album?
- 16:18Speaker 3: Well, Beyonce tried to do that, and she got a
- 16:19Speaker 3: bunch of hate for it. But, sure, Carrie Underwood can
- 16:22Speaker 3: do it.
- 16:22Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 16:23Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 16:23Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 16:24Speaker 2: But we don't got to get into that.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Way to make it about Beyonce.
- 16:26Speaker 2: We don't got to get into that.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I know you're the biggest stan of Beyonce in the world.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I am.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Now I'm heated.
- 16:31Speaker 1: And I loved her country album. I loved it. I
- 16:33Speaker 1: think it was really good. This ain't Texas. That was great.
- 16:37Speaker 1: But I think it'd be interesting, right, to see Carrie
- 16:39Speaker 1: do that.
- 16:39Speaker 2: For sure.
- 16:40Speaker 1: For sure. I'm into it.
- 16:41Speaker 2: So this is unfortunate.
- 16:43Speaker 3: There's an escalating war on Dolly Parton's estate with her family.
- 16:46Speaker 2: So Dolly's nephew, Brian. Yeah. I hate this.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I know.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Dolly's nephew Brian was head of security for most of
- 16:54Speaker 3: her businesses in Tennessee and for Dolly, and he was
- 16:57Speaker 3: just notified by someone else he is dismissed from all
- 17:00Speaker 3: of his duties. So this came from Dolly's longtime manager,
- 17:05Speaker 3: Danny Nozzle and Pinnacle Bank for some reason. And so
- 17:09Speaker 3: the termination letter says that Dolly's nephew is no longer needed,
- 17:14Speaker 3: but his business interests with Dolly's money, all of that
- 17:19Speaker 3: is still intact, luckily. But Brian wasn't just a nephew
- 17:22Speaker 3: that Dolly was helping out with a job for security
- 17:25Speaker 3: or whatever. He was the family member that Dolly picked
- 17:28Speaker 3: herself to announce her death.
- 17:30Speaker 2: He's huge.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Oh, he was that one? Yes.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Yes.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So this is just really shady information. And unfortunate. And
- 17:36Speaker 2: I have a bad feeling about all of this. And
- 17:39Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I don't like it. I just hate when things like
- 17:41Speaker 1: this happen after someone who is as good as Dolly
- 17:45Speaker 1: passes away. She lived her life. She had everything set
- 17:48Speaker 1: up the way she wanted it. Why is that not
- 17:52Speaker 1: all coming to light and being skewed? I don't like that.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I don't like it either.
- 17:55Speaker 1: And who has the power to fire him? I thought
- 17:58Speaker 1: Brian was the one in charge of all that, right?
- 18:00Speaker 2: Apparently not.
- 18:01Speaker 3: For some reason, Dolly's manager is calling the shots right now.
- 18:04Speaker 3: So someone needs to look into this.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I hate it so much. It sounds greedy and shady.
- 18:08Speaker 1: You're right.
- 18:08Speaker 2: It really does. It really does.
- 18:10Speaker 3: And we have Josh already laughing at my next story
- 18:13Speaker 3: for the Celebrity Quickie.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It's not funny, Josh. This is serious.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Kind of funny. It's kind of funny.
- 18:20Speaker 3: So Nicolas Cage's sinkhole is bigger. I'm just going to
- 18:23Speaker 3: say it. There's no other way to say it.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Poor guy. It sounds painful. It's awful.
- 18:28Speaker 2: It's a lot. It's a lot.
- 18:30Speaker 3: So we found out that the city of Malibu actually
- 18:34Speaker 3: declared this sinkhole that showed up in Nicolas Cage's driveway
- 18:39Speaker 3: at his house in Malibu. It just showed up one day,
- 18:41Speaker 3: started crumbling and cracking, and it was a big hole
- 18:44Speaker 3: that That's how they happen. And it's only gotten bigger
- 18:47Speaker 3: since then. But the good news is it's actually more
- 18:50Speaker 3: stable now than it was before.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Well, it was really unstable because of the wet dirt underneath, right?
- 18:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 18:57Speaker 3: But there's new photos that have come out from the
- 19:01Speaker 3: construction of all of this, and it looks so bad.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Is his house going to survive?
- 19:06Speaker 2: I think so.
- 19:07Speaker 3: They haven't said anything about his house not being able
- 19:10Speaker 3: to survive.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'd be scared to go back in there. Once you're
- 19:13Speaker 1: done and everything's safe again, I'm like, am I standing
- 19:15Speaker 1: on hollow ground right now?
- 19:17Speaker 3: Right.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I have no idea. But it's right there on the coast.
- 19:20Speaker 2: It's up on a cliffside.
- 19:21Speaker 3: So that's part of the reason why this became an
- 19:23Speaker 3: issue in the first place. But to make it safer
- 19:26Speaker 3: for anyone to be able to get on it in
- 19:28Speaker 3: the future, they actually had to dig out more.
- 19:30Speaker 2: So they made the sinkhole bigger and Because it's kind
- 19:34Speaker 2: of what it is.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it gets worse before it gets better.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I understand that. Exactly. And that's exactly what's happening right here.
- 19:39Speaker 3: But not only is Nicolas Cage's entire driveway gone, like
- 19:43Speaker 3: it's just the garage and the side of the house,
- 19:46Speaker 3: but it also wraps around the side of his house
- 19:48Speaker 3: that they had to pull, cut. and dirt out of
- 19:52Speaker 3: the way, and eventually they're gonna fill it again and
- 19:55Speaker 3: fix it all up, but.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Fill that sinkhole. Yeah, that sinkhole. It's just getting bigger
- 19:59Speaker 2: and bigger for Nicolas Cage.
- 20:00Speaker 1: You know what's crazy? I actually had a sinkhole open
- 20:02Speaker 1: up in my neighborhood. What? A few years ago, all
- 20:05Speaker 1: of a sudden... a massive sinkhole arose or erupted or
- 20:09Speaker 1: broke out right after a car was parked over it.
- 20:12Speaker 1: And like it essentially just kept getting wider and wider.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And I think I'm trying to remember, I think it
- 20:18Speaker 1: was due to a pipe being burst, which softened the
- 20:20Speaker 1: ground and then it just collapsed. So it literally happened, Nina,
- 20:24Speaker 1: maybe five or seven minutes after a car was parked
- 20:27Speaker 1: right there. So if it would have stayed there a
- 20:29Speaker 1: little bit longer, the car would have been, you know,
- 20:31Speaker 1: completely swallowed by it. It's a creepy thing.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Sinkholes are one of my irrational fears that are becoming
- 20:36Speaker 2: more and more real every day.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Rational. It's becoming much more rational. For real.
- 20:39Speaker 2: That's terrifying.
- 20:40Speaker 1: You just never know when it's going to happen. I
- 20:41Speaker 1: don't like this. Nina, The Voice just premiered, and we're
- 20:44Speaker 1: obviously doing our thing with them, giving away the $ 250
- 20:46Speaker 1: gift card, which is coming up later. But they also
- 20:50Speaker 1: had a variety of very famous people that you would
- 20:55Speaker 1: know that auditioned. And this is actually a very surprising
- 20:57Speaker 1: list to me because some of them really didn't make
- 21:00Speaker 1: it far at all. And they are massive stars.
- 21:03Speaker 2: What do you got?
- 21:03Speaker 1: Chapel Roan. She was only 15 years old. And she
- 21:06Speaker 1: said that the producer she auditioned with said that it
- 21:10Speaker 1: didn't even look up from her phone. That's how unimpressed
- 21:13Speaker 1: she was. Morgan Wallen, he was famous on season six,
- 21:16Speaker 1: but it was eliminated during the playoffs. So he made
- 21:18Speaker 1: it pretty far. Maren Morris did this, and she was
- 21:21Speaker 1: actually also rejected by American Idol. Wow. Like, she went
- 21:24Speaker 1: 0 for 2. One of the biggest ones on here,
- 21:26Speaker 1: Luke Combs, he actually only made it in front of
- 21:29Speaker 1: the producers, and they said that he was, in quotes,
- 21:32Speaker 1: way too boring for television.
- 21:34Speaker 3: What?
- 21:35Speaker 1: It just shows you that, like, some of these producers
- 21:38Speaker 1: slash judges slash whatever are... just blind to the raw
- 21:42Speaker 1: talent that someone has. Lainey Wilson, okay, Lainey Wilson, a
- 21:45Speaker 1: massive star, auditioned seven times and didn't make it. Camila
- 21:50Speaker 1: Cabello's another massive one. She passed with the producers but
- 21:53Speaker 1: never even made it to the coaches.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I just think that's so weird how wrong that these
- 21:58Speaker 1: people can get it because all of those people, Chappell
- 22:01Speaker 1: Rohn's one of the biggest stars on earth right now.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Seriously, that's surprising.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Morgan Wallen, one of the biggest country stars. I'm wearing
- 22:07Speaker 1: a shirt today. How funny is that? You are, you are.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Obviously these stars are huge and yet some of them
- 22:11Speaker 1: didn't even make it past the producers.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Well, you know, the producers, that's why we have the
- 22:15Speaker 3: coaches that we do on The Voice because they know
- 22:19Speaker 3: how it is and when you are out there living
- 22:22Speaker 3: in your car and you're just trying to make it
- 22:23Speaker 3: work and make it happen, they understand that hustle and
- 22:26Speaker 3: I truly think that if people have the opportunity to
- 22:29Speaker 3: get in front of the coaches, that they're able to
- 22:32Speaker 3: see that and they find that connection.
- 22:34Speaker 2: And that's how some of this talent comes out.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Me getting cut from American Idol, Nina, I still got
- 22:39Speaker 1: a chance. Don't worry.
- 22:40Speaker 2: You still got a chance.
- 22:41Speaker 1: You can do it.
- 22:43Speaker 2: All right, your third story for the Celebrity Quickie, Shaq.
- 22:46Speaker 2: You know what? He's just out here completing random side quests.
- 22:48Speaker 1: What is he doing?
- 22:49Speaker 3: He has a certificate to join the FBI. Yeah, he
- 22:54Speaker 3: is an honorary FBI special agent.
- 22:57Speaker 1: He's got to be the world's tallest FBI agent. You're
- 23:00Speaker 1: not inconspicuous if you're Shaq, right?
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 23:03Speaker 1: The whole point is to not know that you're in
- 23:04Speaker 1: the FBI.
- 23:05Speaker 2: That is true. That is true. But now everyone knows
- 23:08Speaker 2: that he is in the FBI.
- 23:10Speaker 3: He graduated from the FBI National Academy of And this
- 23:14Speaker 3: was a legitimate thing. He trained alongside other law enforcement professionals,
- 23:19Speaker 3: had to go through all sorts of different courses. They
- 23:22Speaker 3: had a ceremony that was very, very official in a
- 23:27Speaker 3: law enforcement office with the American flag behind him. He
- 23:29Speaker 3: got a plaque and everything, and I'm like, Shaquille O'Neal
- 23:33Speaker 3: is just out here completing all the side quests that
- 23:36Speaker 3: we wish that we could do, but.
- 23:37Speaker 2: He's doing it.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Good for him. Isn't he also a DJ, too? Yeah, Diesel. Diesel.
- 23:40Speaker 1: DJ Diesel.
- 23:41Speaker 2: DJ Diesel.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Good for him. Honestly, look.
- 23:43Speaker 2: So he's just doing everything.
- 23:45Speaker 1: He already did the hard part of his career playing
- 23:47Speaker 1: in the NBA for forever like he did, so now
- 23:49Speaker 1: he's just doing side quests.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Good for him. Yeah, good for him. Three things you
- 23:52Speaker 2: need to know before you go into the office today.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Like these famous animals that we have here in Colorado.
- 23:57Speaker 2: We know Ralphie runs the field at CU.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Of course, we know Thunder, who was the horse at
- 24:02Speaker 3: Bronco Stadium. But do you know about Piper? So Piper
- 24:07Speaker 3: is another white horse who is often mistaken for Thunder, but...
- 24:13Speaker 3: Piper is the stunt horse who actually runs the field.
- 24:17Speaker 1: What?
- 24:18Speaker 2: I know, this is blowing your mind right now.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Piper?
- 24:21Speaker 2: Piper.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Yes, Thunder is kind of the live animal mascot of
- 24:26Speaker 3: the Broncos, and always will be, but Piper.
- 24:30Speaker 2: helps.
- 24:30Speaker 3: With the stunts on the field because a lot of horses,
- 24:33Speaker 3: the thing with horses, they get spooked so easily. But
- 24:37Speaker 3: at a Broncos game, you have fans cheering, stomping on
- 24:41Speaker 3: the benches there, fireworks, the jets, the pyrotechnics. That is
- 24:46Speaker 3: a lot for a horse to have to deal with.
- 24:48Speaker 3: And Piper is able to do it. She's able to perform.
- 24:51Speaker 1: She just loves the noise.
- 24:52Speaker 2: She does.
- 24:53Speaker 3: She's like, this is just another day. So Piper is
- 24:56Speaker 3: the one who actually runs the field. And Piper is
- 24:59Speaker 3: also known for her ability to rear, which is a
- 25:02Speaker 3: horse thing.
- 25:03Speaker 1: On its hind legs.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Jumps up on the two legs.
- 25:06Speaker 3: But she's able to do it on demand, and not
- 25:08Speaker 3: many horses will do it on demand.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Most of them do it because it really throws off
- 25:11Speaker 1: their balance. My sister rode horses for a long time,
- 25:14Speaker 1: and most of them only do it when it comes
- 25:16Speaker 1: to being spooked, and they can't do it as a trait.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah, but Piper can. It's a trick for her. So
- 25:22Speaker 2: shout out to Piper.
- 25:23Speaker 3: She lives in northern Colorado on Bower's Farm up there
- 25:27Speaker 3: with a couple other horses, lives a good life, and
- 25:29Speaker 3: gets to perform for the Broncos.
- 25:31Speaker 1: What a job. I know. She just lives her life.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Eats a lot of carrots. Good for Piper. We love that.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring you down a little bit here. Apparently
- 25:39Speaker 1: a lot of Americans are dealing with the same kind
- 25:42Speaker 1: of crisis. Three in four Americans are battling exhaustion. Nina,
- 25:46Speaker 1: how are you feeling?
- 25:48Speaker 3: I'm a little bit burnt out. I wish I took
- 25:50Speaker 3: a vacation earlier this year. I didn't know we were
- 25:52Speaker 3: getting this job.
- 25:54Speaker 1: It's one of those things. Exhaustion affects everybody at one
- 25:57Speaker 1: point or another. And I understand that there's jobs that
- 26:00Speaker 1: just take a mental toll on you. And that can
- 26:03Speaker 1: be as bad as the physical toll that these jobs do. Overall,
- 26:06Speaker 1: 71 percent of these respondents reported feeling fatigue on at
- 26:10Speaker 1: least some days. with around 20% reporting frequent fatigue during that.
- 26:15Speaker 1: And that's a big deal. You've got to make sure
- 26:17Speaker 1: that your mental health and physical health are okay so
- 26:19Speaker 1: that you can keep doing your job.
- 26:21Speaker 2: You have to. It's part of just taking care of yourself.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Well, and they said other than trying to get a
- 26:26Speaker 1: good sleep. That is the number one cause of people
- 26:30Speaker 1: reporting exhaustion. They're just like, I don't sleep well. The
- 26:32Speaker 1: number one thing you can do for that is disconnect
- 26:35Speaker 1: from work and your electronic devices. It is especially important
- 26:40Speaker 1: the hours leading up to sleep. If you can read
- 26:43Speaker 1: a good book, remember I did this a couple days
- 26:45Speaker 1: ago where I said, if you read for eight minutes,
- 26:47Speaker 1: it can help change your mood and make you sleepy
- 26:50Speaker 1: and really kind of get you into your nighttime routine.
- 26:53Speaker 1: That is incredibly important. If fatigue, becomes another problem. It's
- 26:56Speaker 1: important to seek that medical attention, they say, and ensure
- 26:58Speaker 1: that there's no other underlying, you know, medical reasons. But
- 27:02Speaker 1: the biggest thing is people just can't sleep well. And
- 27:04Speaker 1: the number one cause is being addicted, like we all
- 27:08Speaker 1: are in some way or another, to our phones or
- 27:11Speaker 1: our screen time. So if you can separate yourself from that,
- 27:13Speaker 1: and I know it's hard, it's got vice grips on
- 27:15Speaker 1: me too. Especially with us, one, two, three, four, five,
- 27:17Speaker 1: we have eight screens in front of us right now.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I mean, we have so many, so I understand that.
- 27:22Speaker 1: But if you can pull yourself away from that, that
- 27:25Speaker 1: really could help you get a better sleep.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Okay, well, good to know. We all have to take
- 27:28Speaker 2: better care of ourselves right now.
- 27:30Speaker 3: And there is a growing number of men across the
- 27:34Speaker 3: world following this next beauty trend that I kind of
- 27:37Speaker 3: hate it. They are trimming their eyelashes because they want
- 27:41Speaker 3: to look more masculine.
- 27:43Speaker 2: So dudes aren't liking their long, beautiful eyelashes.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I got made fun of. They called me Guy Liner
- 27:51Speaker 1: Grizz because I have very long, dark eyelashes. And it
- 27:55Speaker 1: made me so sad in elementary school. That's when I
- 27:58Speaker 1: got bullied for that. But my mom always said, hey,
- 28:01Speaker 1: give it time. The ladies will love it. And I
- 28:03Speaker 1: have learned to love them as well. They've worked out
- 28:05Speaker 1: pretty good for me. It's all good now. Who's laughing now,
- 28:09Speaker 1: Guy Leonard Riz? Come on. Yeah, take that.
- 28:12Speaker 3: More dudes need to embrace it. Having long eyelashes, it's
- 28:15Speaker 3: not a bad thing. So stop trimming your eyelashes.
- 28:17Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 28:18Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I don't like that.
- 28:19Speaker 2: It is pumpkin spice season.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin spice everything, because today is The
- 28:25Speaker 3: first day of fall, Josh, but there is a new
- 28:29Speaker 3: flavor that is just going on everything right now, and
- 28:33Speaker 3: I feel like you're a little disgusted by it.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Well, it's a new flavor, but it's not a new
- 28:38Speaker 1: food at all. It's just pickles everywhere. I mean, it is...
- 28:44Speaker 1: Literally everything. The sales of pickles in some stores, like
- 28:49Speaker 1: Trader Joe's or Safeway, have gone up by 812% because
- 28:53Speaker 1: of the pickle-flavored things. And it's literally everything that you
- 28:58Speaker 1: can get. I'm looking at pictures of a 24-layer pickle cake. Ew, what?
- 29:04Speaker 1: It's a whole pickle cake. I like pickles, but what
- 29:06Speaker 1: do you mean?
- 29:06Speaker 2: It's a cake layered with pickles?
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Yes, it's literally 24 layers of pickles with the
- 29:13Speaker 1: breading and the cake. It's a cake. It's a cake
- 29:15Speaker 1: with frosting and pickles inside. Okay. Very interesting.
- 29:19Speaker 2: That's a lot.
- 29:20Speaker 1: The obvious ones are the pickle-flavored chips, the pickle-flavored Cheetos
- 29:26Speaker 1: that you can get, the jalapeno Cheetos, pickle-flavored. Now, I'm
- 29:28Speaker 1: all on board with that. Honestly, I like that.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Those sound good, yeah.
- 29:31Speaker 1: There are other ones, however.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:35Speaker 1: They don't even make sense to me, I'm sorry. Pepsi flavored,
- 29:38Speaker 1: pickle flavored Pepsi.
- 29:39Speaker 2: No, we don't need that.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Let's go with that. No. They also have, and you
- 29:42Speaker 1: touched on this a little earlier, how they're doing like
- 29:44Speaker 1: a pumpkin spice toothpaste. Yeah. This is spicy pickle flavored toothpaste. Ew! Which,
- 29:50Speaker 1: first of all, whether that cleans your teeth or not,
- 29:55Speaker 1: I don't even know. That's disgusting.
- 29:57Speaker 2: That is disgusting.
- 29:58Speaker 1: That's the one that I'm like, I don't know if
- 30:00Speaker 1: I could do.
- 30:01Speaker 2: No. A toothpaste is a bit much. And it doesn't eat.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Why a spicy toothpaste? What do you mean?
- 30:06Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Don't like it.
- 30:07Speaker 1: The hot pickle is a very big deal, if you will. Sorry.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I know. I'm sorry. I had to make the pun.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Please forgive me. It was right there. No, but that's
- 30:15Speaker 1: a very popular one. That one is, I like it.
- 30:18Speaker 1: It's fine. I like a good spicy pickle. I love
- 30:21Speaker 1: spicy pickles on my sandwiches. That's fine. But hygiene brand
- 30:24Speaker 1: Fresh Pig.
- 30:25Speaker 3: No.
- 30:25Speaker 1: They're the one, Fresh Pig, which first of all, hygiene
- 30:28Speaker 1: called Fresh Pig. Yeah.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I thought you misspoke just now.
- 30:31Speaker 1: No.
- 30:31Speaker 3: No.
- 30:32Speaker 1: It's a brand. It's a hygiene brand. It's a fresh pig. Ew.
- 30:34Speaker 1: And they said the cheeky brand touts it as a
- 30:37Speaker 1: fresh new way to enjoy that pickle flavor you love
- 30:41Speaker 1: so much. Would you do that on a dare?
- 30:43Speaker 2: Even on a dare.
- 30:44Speaker 1: You want the minty freshness. That's the whole thing about toothpaste.
- 30:47Speaker 2: You want your mouth to feel clean. And that doesn't
- 30:50Speaker 2: feel clean.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Not feel like I just ate an entire bag of
- 30:52Speaker 1: hot Cheetos. No.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I mean, okay, so you do like pickles. You said
- 30:59Speaker 3: you'll eat them on your sandwich.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Sure.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Will you just eat a pickle?
- 31:03Speaker 3: A pickle spear from the refrigerator. Will you just eat
- 31:06Speaker 3: to snack on it?
- 31:07Speaker 1: It has to be crunchy. I don't like the chewy pickles.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Okay.
- 31:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Most of them are crunchy.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Where it almost feels kind of rubbery.
- 31:14Speaker 2: A little bit, yeah. Like they were in the vinegar
- 31:16Speaker 2: maybe a little too long.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yes, yes. So if it's a good crunchy pickle, yeah, absolutely.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I like them. They're fine, especially I will say a
- 31:24Speaker 1: hot pickle. A hot pickle is good.
- 31:25Speaker 2: A hot pickle is good.
- 31:26Speaker 3: And I do think pickle flavored chips are really, really good.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Something about just being on a crunchy chip as well.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Something about that is amazing. But yeah, the pickle flavoring,
- 31:38Speaker 3: it is the next pumpkin spice latte. It's going a
- 31:40Speaker 3: bit too far. I just got a text from our
- 31:42Speaker 3: friend Casey. She said, I got an ad for a
- 31:45Speaker 3: liquid IV pickle flavor. Liquid IV pickle flavor. So it's
- 31:49Speaker 3: like just drinking pickle juice, essentially?
- 31:52Speaker 1: Well, actually, pickle juice is really good for rehydrating you.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It's all the salt in there. No, when we were
- 31:58Speaker 1: cramping up in football, we would drink a jar of
- 31:59Speaker 1: pickle juice. So that makes sense.
- 32:03Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 32:04Speaker 1: They're going overboard. That's the thing. It's too much.
- 32:06Speaker 2: It's everywhere.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Everything.
- 32:07Speaker 3: And once a flavor gets to toothpaste, we've gone entirely
- 32:11Speaker 3: too far.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Way too far. Pickle flavored cake. Nina, what are we
- 32:14Speaker 1: doing here?
- 32:15Speaker 2: No, a pickle cake. That's just weird. That's just being
- 32:17Speaker 2: too much.
- 32:18Speaker 1: It's 24 layers. I'm looking at the picture. What?
- 32:21Speaker 2: Yeah. We're getting a couple texts in on the text line.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Feel free to text us how you feel about pickles.
- 32:26Speaker 1: 303-691-1MIX.
- 32:26Speaker 2: But Kim says, I love pickles, but a pickle cake? Gross.
- 32:34Speaker 2: And I agree. That's too much. That's disgusting right there.
- 32:38Speaker 1: That's not my thing either. I'm trying to read this
- 32:40Speaker 1: one too.
- 32:40Speaker 2: There's a A liquor store? Yeah, there's pickle flavored. I mean,
- 32:44Speaker 2: like pickle shots.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Those are very popular.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I actually don't mind those. Those are pretty good.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie.
- 32:50Speaker 2: That hides the alcohol very well.
- 32:51Speaker 1: I don't like hard alcohol. And if I feel like
- 32:54Speaker 1: I'm just eating a pickle and feeling the effects, sure.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Why not? Right? Let me get tipsy on some pickles.
- 32:59Speaker 2: But yeah, pickle flavoring, it is everywhere. It's on everything.
- 33:02Speaker 2: But yeah, I stand by what I said.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Once a flavor makes it to being toothpaste, we've gone
- 33:09Speaker 3: too far.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Throw it away.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Pickle flavored mint gum. Ew. How? Why? Not doing that.
