- 0:27Hey, everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:29coop. So have you ever tried to
- 0:31squeeze water? I'm not talking about in a
- 0:34balloon. I'm talking about in your hand.
- 0:35Have you ever tried to put your hand under a stream of water and
- 0:40actually squeeze water? Well, when you go to squeeze
- 0:44water, nothing happens. You end up with nothing in your
- 0:46hands. But when you put your hands into
- 0:49a cup form and put your palms together and tuck them, you end
- 0:53up with a handful of two handfuls of water.
- 0:57A cup, if you will. Now, is it leaking?
- 0:59Some of you will say, well, it's still leaking.
- 1:00Yes it is. But you end up with water that
- 1:02you can take a drink from. When you squeeze it, you can't
- 1:05get anything from it. The lesson in this, as Bruce Lee
- 1:10famously said, be water, right? Everybody's like, wow.
- 1:14Be water. Well, the essence of water is
- 1:17that it's very, very fluid and it.
- 1:21Always takes the path of least resistance.
- 1:23That's what's so funny about it. People think, well, you know,
- 1:26you say that take the path of least resistance.
- 1:28Does that mean you're not trying?
- 1:29Does that mean you're not putting out enough energy?
- 1:31Well, I want to remind you my friends, water is one of the
- 1:34most powerful forces on this planet.
- 1:36It keeps us all alive. It has the ability to create the
- 1:40the most gorgeous, you know. Natural resources that we have,
- 1:47Grand Canyon, whatnot. We look at at all the beautiful
- 1:51features of rocks around the world and they have been shaped
- 1:54by water. And then not to mention what
- 1:56happens when you get down to frozen water, glaciers and
- 1:59whatnot moving. Look at the power of glaciers.
- 2:02Well guess what? That's frozen water.
- 2:04And water is absolutely a divine.
- 2:10Energy that's out there and being like water will serve us
- 2:15well. And how do we do?
- 2:17How do we be like water during the day?
- 2:19How do we, how do we have what you know, this show up in our
- 2:21everyday life? Well, notice that when you are
- 2:25doing, let's say you're doing your dishes, water flows right
- 2:27over your hands. Water just moves.
- 2:30It doesn't allow the barriers to impede it so much.
- 2:34Even if you have a cup and you're filling it up, eventually
- 2:36it overruns it. It just always finds the path of
- 2:39least resistance. It always looks for the way to
- 2:44just keep itself flowing and stagnant.
- 2:46Water, as we know, we none of us want to go near, we'll say, oh,
- 2:50that's stagnant water, that's dangerous.
- 2:52We don't want to go near that. So there's so much enlightenment
- 2:56and understanding water and just the promise of it and how it
- 3:01flows through life and using that as a metaphor for yourself.
- 3:04And today I want to talk about being fluid, remaining fluid
- 3:08remaining in that state that we see water in most of the time
- 3:13where it's just consistently able to move and flow and what
- 3:18that does for us. So when you remain fluid and
- 3:20you're not rigid, you have the capability to actually go ahead
- 3:27and. And and adapt in any situation
- 3:30that you're put into, because you realize the power is in the
- 3:34fluidity, the power is in this. The state of saying, OK, I can
- 3:41be fluid. I can continuously move, I can
- 3:44shape shift into whatever I need to around me and not be so rigid
- 3:49that I say no. Now I'm not talking about giving
- 3:52up all your personal boundaries and just saying all right, the
- 3:55hell with it. I'm not going to do any of this
- 3:57other stuff that I've set in place because I'm supposed to be
- 4:00fluid. What I'm saying is allow
- 4:02yourself to be flexible. Allow yourself to be.
- 4:06That that learner that can look at a situation and say, what's
- 4:10the path of least resistance right now?
- 4:12Especially if there are things that are being presented to you
- 4:15that you don't like. When you're fluid and you you
- 4:19stop resisting and you stop being rigid, oftentimes the
- 4:23solution is clearly right in front of you.
- 4:26You know, it's funny. We just did an escape room
- 4:28yesterday, and there were so many times in the escape room
- 4:31because the clock is ticking and you're seeing the clock tick and
- 4:35you're trying to figure your way out and you're trying to figure
- 4:38the puzzles out. And there's so many times that
- 4:40are triggered in there with the pressure of time where you
- 4:43become like, panicked and you go, OKI got to get this, I got
- 4:47to get this, I got to get this. And you're trying to force
- 4:49something and instead of just stopping and pausing.
- 4:53And becoming more fluid. What's another way to look at
- 4:56this, Another great way to go back.
- 4:59What's another way to look at this?
- 5:00And then all of a sudden you see it.
- 5:02We had at least three puzzles that we were able to solve
- 5:06because we were stopped and paused and said, okay, what's
- 5:10another way to look at this? Let's take this from a different
- 5:13perspective. But it was like being like.
- 5:15Water being fluid, I have to be able to not get so rigid in this
- 5:20room. There are not going to be
- 5:21instruction books. We didn't want to take the
- 5:23clues. We said give us 0 clues.
- 5:25We don't. We don't want any so that we can
- 5:27just know we did it on our own to see how far we could go.
- 5:30And what was fascinating about that was the ability to be able
- 5:35to just stay fluid in the situation, not allow your
- 5:38emotions to take over it. It was absolutely thrilling,
- 5:42exciting, fun. And you know what?
- 5:44We didn't finish the room. We were within 5 minutes of
- 5:47fishing the room, finishing the room we only had.
- 5:50We took one clue in the last five minutes just so we could
- 5:54figure out if we were close and we only there were only two
- 5:57things that we hadn't done, but it was.
- 6:01Thrilling to know how far we got with 0 clues until that last
- 6:06five minutes. Just one little clue.
- 6:08But we did the whole thing up to that point.
- 6:10And then to say wow, we really got the girl was a maze.
- 6:13She's like how did you get this one without this other one?
- 6:15Because it was, but it was our ability to be able to just stay
- 6:19fluid as we went through it. So again, this is one of those
- 6:24times where. When you start to use, have all
- 6:26these little metaphors in yourself and like, am I being
- 6:29like water right now? Am I acting like water would
- 6:31act? Am I looking for the path of
- 6:32least resistance? Am I putting myself in in the,
- 6:37you know, in the state of rigidity or can I loosen my grip
- 6:41and can I become less rigid about everything and just be
- 6:45like water? So hopefully today you will find
- 6:48some time to be like water and I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:52My friends, have a blessed day. Bye.
- 6:54Show me Akshay song.
