- 0:00Speaker 1: Now more.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Mark Simone on SEVENR.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Well, hey, we had a special dinner last night beautiful
- 0:08Speaker 3: steakhouse for twenty five of our biggest best sponsors, and
- 0:12Speaker 3: a few people spoke. Jimmy Fayla stole this show. Everybody
- 0:16Speaker 3: loved him. Jimmy Falas now on WR you can listen
- 0:19Speaker 3: to him every night nine o'clock, nine to midnight. Excellent
- 0:23Speaker 3: show every weeknight, and he's got the best late night
- 0:26Speaker 3: show on television Saturday nights ten o'clock, Fox News Channel.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Jimmy Fayla, how you doing well?
- 0:33Speaker 2: You know what, I didn't really arrive in showbiz till
- 0:37Speaker 2: I was telling jokes at a podium and a steakhouse
- 0:39Speaker 2: at five point thirty. I mean, that's the gig, you know,
- 0:43Speaker 2: when you get into the industry. You know, people dream
- 0:45Speaker 2: about the Tonight Show in Vegas, but you know, anytime
- 0:47Speaker 2: you're at an east side steakhouse at five pm with
- 0:50Speaker 2: a sober crowd, that's the real comedy.
- 0:52Speaker 1: But what a great night? Huh? Yeah?
- 0:54Speaker 3: Well, I hate to break it to you. Even if
- 0:55Speaker 3: you're hosting the Tonight Show, they'll make you go to
- 0:57Speaker 3: a dinner with all the top sponsors and tell some
- 0:59Speaker 3: jokes how do I.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Do it all the time? A fox? But we have
- 1:03Speaker 2: such a good time, Like it was such a good hang.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Obviously you kicked it off at a phenomenal job, so
- 1:08Speaker 2: many laughs. Tossed it over to Menti and you know
- 1:11Speaker 2: what else?
- 1:12Speaker 1: And Menti was great as he always is.
- 1:14Speaker 2: And you know what was the most pleasant surprise of
- 1:16Speaker 2: it all is Brenda k Starrh. I was goaded into
- 1:20Speaker 2: singing God Bless America while we ate dinner. It was
- 1:23Speaker 2: like a weird dream, you know, because it felt like
- 1:26Speaker 2: a wedding rehearsal dinner.
- 1:28Speaker 1: And we all got up.
- 1:29Speaker 2: And gave it toast and Brenda sang, but they didn't
- 1:32Speaker 2: go through with the marriage.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So I guess that's good. What a night? Huh?
- 1:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that was very good. Thanks for doing that. That
- 1:38Speaker 3: was the sponsors love you? And how's it going nine
- 1:40Speaker 3: to midnight every night?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:43Speaker 2: I love that because those are my people. I mean,
- 1:45Speaker 2: if I wasn't on the radio nine to midnight talking
- 1:47Speaker 2: to people, I would have been driving them around in
- 1:49Speaker 2: a taxi talking to people. So it's the same audience, man.
- 1:54Speaker 2: So that for me has been a really good fun adjustment.
- 1:57Speaker 2: And the one thing I would tell you is when
- 2:01Speaker 2: you get on the air here, specifically New York. And
- 2:03Speaker 2: you know this from being from being from here, there's
- 2:05Speaker 2: a different energy to what we do, and there's an
- 2:08Speaker 2: authentic way of doing it. You know, we kind of
- 2:11Speaker 2: you know, we're a little more plain spoken here than
- 2:13Speaker 2: the rest of the country. So I enjoy being able
- 2:15Speaker 2: to do that communicate efficiently.
- 2:17Speaker 1: You now, in the rest of the.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Country, Mark, if someone asks how you doing, they actually
- 2:21Speaker 2: want to know how you're doing, whereas in New York
- 2:24Speaker 2: we answer for you.
- 2:26Speaker 1: We go how you doing? Good?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, families, good kids. To take it away from it,
- 2:28Speaker 2: you know, it's fair.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I love that.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I love the efficiency of New York communication. So it's
- 2:34Speaker 2: been it's been a dream.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Uh.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Jimmy Faylor breaking news, Eric Adams will endorse Andrew Cuomo
- 2:39Speaker 3: from mayor. Is that a shock?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Oh? No, but that that that's going to throw an
- 2:45Speaker 2: additional twelve voters into Cuomo's column. Well, all of what
- 2:50Speaker 2: your bottle service waitresses on the uh in the West Village, right,
- 2:54Speaker 2: they vote, They vote, These twelve matter, every vote counts.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Isn't that what they tell us? Did you ever see a.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Race like this where they tell the actual Republican candidate.
- 3:03Speaker 3: He has to drop out, get out of the races,
- 3:05Speaker 3: you drop out.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It's an unpopular opinion right now, but it drives me
- 3:10Speaker 2: crazy that people are doing that the Curtis. It's like, guys, Cuomo,
- 3:15Speaker 2: don't ever you know, you know this? Okay, Cuomo got
- 3:18Speaker 2: you know, people killed with his COVID strategy, lied about
- 3:21Speaker 2: it because he was negotiating a book deal, and then
- 3:23Speaker 2: got me tooed out of the mansion. Okay, if people
- 3:27Speaker 2: aren't voting for him, something tells me it has nothing
- 3:30Speaker 2: to do with the man in the red hat. Okay,
- 3:33Speaker 2: there is a Cuomo issue and Clomo caused it. And
- 3:36Speaker 2: the idea that the Republicans are supposed to just determine
- 3:39Speaker 2: which Democrat ruins the city. I don't think it's our
- 3:44Speaker 2: job as a party. So yeah, I'm not on board
- 3:46Speaker 2: with Curtis dropping Now. How did the Republicans go from fight, fight,
- 3:49Speaker 2: fight a year ago to surrender, surrender, surrender a year later?
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah? I don't know if you saw the debate last night,
- 3:56Speaker 3: but do you think Clomo got some of that Joe
- 3:58Speaker 3: Biden injectioned juice or something. He was all pretty good.
- 4:01Speaker 3: He was fired up last night.
- 4:03Speaker 1: He was very animated.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Apparently the deal fell through on the house he's buying
- 4:08Speaker 2: in Boca Ratone, so he had to make one last
- 4:11Speaker 2: ditch effort to remain a citizen in New York. I
- 4:14Speaker 2: guess I gotta try to win this thing. You didn't
- 4:16Speaker 2: like the interest rate or something, but yeah, they jacked
- 4:19Speaker 2: him up and it looked did It reminded me of
- 4:21Speaker 2: that State of the Union where Biden screamed at us
- 4:23Speaker 2: for an hour and a half and if you remember,
- 4:26Speaker 2: made the sign language interpreter shrug at the end of
- 4:29Speaker 2: Biden's State of the Union.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Mark, he goes, for real, Mark, anyone can google this.
- 4:33Speaker 2: He goes, now's the time to choose between unity and schmegging,
- 4:36Speaker 2: a hem and hem anda, Like, what's this happened? The dose?
- 4:42Speaker 3: Hey, Jimmy flis on every night nine to midnight on
- 4:45Speaker 3: w O or make sure you listen tonight nine o'clock.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Do you you what is the deal with this? NBA?
- 4:51Speaker 3: FBI announced as an NBA gambling scandal? Have you ever
- 4:55Speaker 3: heard of such a thing? Betting on basketball?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Well, the betting on basketball been out there, but it
- 5:00Speaker 2: sounds like these were fixed poker games. I mean, you know,
- 5:04Speaker 2: I'm listen. I'm a gambler. I ate a chicken kebab
- 5:07Speaker 2: in Times Square five minutes ago, like I'm a guy
- 5:09Speaker 2: who rolls the dice. Okay, But the point is, it
- 5:13Speaker 2: sounds like it was some heavily organized cheating in high
- 5:17Speaker 2: stakes poker games and a couple of NBA guys were involved.
- 5:21Speaker 2: But it speaks to my theory that once they pumped
- 5:24Speaker 2: all of this gambling into pro sports, it's inevitable that
- 5:27Speaker 2: guys are gonna get popped because there's too much cash
- 5:30Speaker 2: flying around. You know, the guy of Cleveland, Indians who's
- 5:32Speaker 2: a pitcher who's banned for life right now because of
- 5:35Speaker 2: his involvement in fixing. And they don't have to fix
- 5:38Speaker 2: games anymore because there's so many other things you can bet.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I'm like Mark, you can bet whether the national anthem
- 5:43Speaker 2: is going to go longer than ninety seconds.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Like that's a real thing.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So are you telling me someone can't rease Brenda k
- 5:50Speaker 2: Star to hold the Home of the Brave for an
- 5:52Speaker 2: extra eight second? You know, of course you could, And
- 5:56Speaker 2: that's I'm not saying Brenda's got more integrity, but I
- 5:58Speaker 2: know a lot of people would show is that would
- 6:00Speaker 2: take the money.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Hey, this White House, they're tearing down the wall. They're
- 6:06Speaker 3: going to build a magnificent ballroom. These left wing Democrats
- 6:09Speaker 3: screaming about desecration. Are they crazy? What's wrong with them now?
- 6:15Speaker 2: Especially after you know the last five years of tearing
- 6:18Speaker 2: down statues and let's not forget, you know, because that
- 6:20Speaker 2: whole preserve our history argument. I'm like, you guys tore
- 6:23Speaker 2: down a Frederick Douglas statue.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:26Speaker 2: They also threw so many rocks at the White House
- 6:28Speaker 2: in Juna twenty twenty they had to put up an
- 6:30Speaker 2: additional barrier. Okay, So this is not about the sanctity of.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The White House.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And everybody knows about the Obama renovation that actually cost
- 6:37Speaker 2: three hundred and seventy six million dollars and did you know,
- 6:40Speaker 2: build a taxpayer and not some Trump donors. So it's
- 6:43Speaker 2: all as you know, and I know this is just
- 6:46Speaker 2: like the latest performative outrage, but you know, suck it up.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Presidents do things. JFK put in a bowling lane, Nick,
- 6:53Speaker 2: excuse me, a pool. Nixon put in the bowling lane.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Clinton put in a stripper pole. You know, guys are
- 6:58Speaker 2: going to leave their imprint going to leave their impress.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but six months from now, you're gonna have a beautiful,
- 7:03Speaker 3: spectacular ballroom. These clips of these liberals screaming they're not
- 7:08Speaker 3: gonna they're not gonna hold up, well, are they.
- 7:11Speaker 2: No, because they're reacting to these images as if he
- 7:15Speaker 2: just left it that way. He's knock down part of
- 7:18Speaker 2: the White House and he's like, anyway, happy Thursday, everybody off.
- 7:24Speaker 2: They're rebuilding it. That's the point.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Well, you go, hey, make sure you listen to Jimmy
- 7:32Speaker 3: Fayala nine to midnight every weeknight on seven to ten.
- 7:36Speaker 3: W O, Right, what do you got tonight? Do you
- 7:37Speaker 3: know yet?
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh, it's a big one.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Kennedy's going to be here, Dave Landau is going to
- 7:42Speaker 2: be here, and we may have a special NBA guest
- 7:45Speaker 2: we're working on now to talk about this gambling segment
- 7:47Speaker 2: so that it has nothing to do with the integrity
- 7:49Speaker 2: of the league.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I just got to find out how to make some
- 7:51Speaker 1: money off this stuff. That's well.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Also, he does the best late night show on TV.
- 7:56Speaker 3: It's Saturday nights at ten o'clock Fox News Channel Saturday,
- 8:00Speaker 3: that's at ten and they're online, right, people miss Saturday Night.
- 8:03Speaker 3: They can go watch it and always yeah and make
- 8:07Speaker 3: sure you listen to Night nine to midnight watch them
- 8:10Speaker 3: Saturday night, ten o'clock Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla, great
- 8:14Speaker 3: job last night. Thanks for being with us.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Youill you kill you the man see if anybody take care.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, we have a lot of great sponsors. But like
- 8:23Speaker 3: our Top twenty five, it was a big dinner for them.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Jimmy Fayala is hysterical. It was a great night. We'll
- 8:32Speaker 3: wrap it up in a moment. Don't forget Buck and
- 8:35Speaker 3: Clay coming up at noon today. Then you got the
- 8:38Speaker 3: most listened to radio show in America. You got Sean
- 8:41Speaker 3: Hannity at three o'clock, Jesse Kelly at six, and then
- 8:44Speaker 3: as I said, nine to midnight every night. Now it's
- 8:47Speaker 3: Jimmy Fayla on seven to ten WR
