Title: A Church Who Loves?

Text: Revelation 2:1-7

Chris Hefner

Three Messages We Hear from Christ

We hear (see) that Christ is in control.

We hear Christ’s commendations.

a. Works

b. Doctrine

c. Endurance

3. We hear Christ’s correction.

a. Concerning abandoned love.

b. Commanding repentance.

c. Inviting to conquer.

(These commendations emphasize the gospel’s credibility). (This correction emphasizes the gospel’s plausibility).
