- 0:09Welcome to Mission Sunlight Chat from the media
- 0:12missionaries of Network 7. We are at the General
- 0:14Conference Session Exhibit Hall, delighted to
- 0:16be here sharing with what other exhibitors are
- 0:19doing around the globe. As an exhibitor ourselves,
- 0:22we're a group or part of the group of hundreds
- 0:25of ministries and even businesses and other ministries
- 0:30that are exhibiting here at the General Conference
- 0:32session. Of course, the General Conference itself
- 0:34is the world business meeting of the Seventh
- 0:36-day Adventist Church that's held every five
- 0:38years where leaders are elected and policy and
- 0:42decisions are made about the operation of the
- 0:46church. This is the fun part where we are in
- 0:49the exhibit hall, and we are delighted as we
- 0:51get an opportunity to visit with international
- 0:53guests. One of those that we have here is from
- 0:57Bangla Help, and that is Diana Guinard. Did I
- 1:01say it right, Diana? You got it perfect. All
- 1:03right, very good. Thanks so much for being here.
- 1:05We're excited to learn more about Bangla Help.
- 1:07Thank you for giving me the opportunity. Would
- 1:10you begin us with a word of prayer? Sure. Let's
- 1:12pray. Father in heaven, we thank you so much
- 1:15for the life you've given us, for calling us
- 1:19into your marvelous light. Amen. I pray, Lord,
- 1:22that we will be able to fulfill the commission
- 1:25you've given us to bring the three angels' message
- 1:28to all parts of the world, and that we may please,
- 1:32by your Spirit, set the captives free. In Jesus'
- 1:36name I pray. Amen. Amen. Diana, you are the president
- 1:42of Bengla Help. But before we talk about that
- 1:45and your ministry there, I'd like to learn a
- 1:47little bit more about you. Tell me about your
- 1:50childhood and your family growing up and kind
- 1:53of where you're from now. Sure. So we used to
- 1:56travel. quite a bit due to my dad's work. And
- 2:01so when I was around three, I was born Catholic.
- 2:06And when I was about three, we moved into Brazil.
- 2:10And in Brazil, actually, we learned about the
- 2:14Seventh -day Adventist message through... a very
- 2:18difficult situation um basically like which there's
- 2:22a lot of witchcrafting in brazil and so this
- 2:27um as sunday adventist lady the lord just placed
- 2:30her in my mom's uh path and she taught her how
- 2:35to pray and once we prayed like she taught us
- 2:40um like speaking to god like you know to a father
- 2:44that listens to you and cares about every single
- 2:47situation that's happening to you the whatever
- 2:51was happening in our home stopped and it you
- 2:56know we lived there for three years and we were
- 2:58the only tenants to last that long because people
- 3:01wouldn't last even two days in that place so
- 3:05at that moment my mom understood there was a
- 3:09power that she's never understood it existed
- 3:14before She understood there is a God that is
- 3:18a personal God and that cares and worries for
- 3:22us. Amen. Indeed, He is personal and He does
- 3:25care. So, am I understanding your mom was a single
- 3:28mom then? No. Actually, my dad was out very much
- 3:32working, so we would kind of be by ourselves
- 3:36for three, four days. He would come back and
- 3:39then leave again for another project. Any siblings
- 3:42in your home? No, I don't have any siblings.
- 3:45Just you? Just me, yes. All right. And tell me
- 3:48a little bit about after that experience growing
- 3:51up, where did you end up in school and where
- 3:55you are now? So I think I would say we... were
- 3:59kind of nominal Christians though like a seven
- 4:02-day Adventist like my mom got baptized I got
- 4:04baptized later my dad got baptized but I believe
- 4:08we never understood the importance of being connected
- 4:12to the true source of our of our beings and our
- 4:18you know spiritual life and so I believe we were
- 4:21just like nominal Adventist I would put it that
- 4:24way and so Time went on, and I went to university.
- 4:30I started at law school. I'm from Columbia, South
- 4:37America, and so I was in my third year of law
- 4:40school when the Lord made a big call in my heart
- 4:45to come and train a Semitic missionary in Heartland
- 4:50College. Okay, so you went to Heartland, which
- 4:53is based in Virginia. That's right. From Colombia,
- 4:55that was probably a bit of a culture shock for
- 4:57you? It was okay. It was Heartland, and it's
- 5:02still very multicultural. So I made amazing friends
- 5:07that was in 1996, and I'm here with them today.
- 5:12So they've been like lifelong friends for me.
- 5:15Okay. Yes. Very good. And how did you connect?
- 5:19with heartland or post heartland to bangla help
- 5:23what was next for you yes so what happened is
- 5:25i left as a missionary to dominican republic
- 5:29okay yes since i speak spanish then it was like
- 5:32very easy to to relate to the culture etc there
- 5:37i got married to a missionary as well and we
- 5:40had two two kids today my kids are 24 and 23
- 5:44and when my kids were 10 and 11 You won't believe
- 5:50this, but my ex -husband today and myself, we
- 5:55became atheists. Oh, wow. Yes. And so we were
- 6:00thinking we could keep up with good principles
- 6:03and be good people without the Lord. And you
- 6:07know that's a big mistake. Because once you've
- 6:11known the truth and the light and you reject
- 6:14it, you are left in complete darkness. And so
- 6:17I believe we just spiraled down without knowing
- 6:20we were spiraling down. And in 2021, there was
- 6:25a very tragic, traumatic situation in our family.
- 6:30And basically our family got destroyed. And I
- 6:34had to continue on my own with my kids. And,
- 6:39you know, it was just so, so much trauma. And
- 6:42the Lord, I believe the Lord in his compassion
- 6:45and wisdom allowed me to go my own way. But he
- 6:49was ready to rescue me in the darkest point of
- 6:53my life. And so that's what he did. He actually
- 6:56protected my life because at some point I think
- 7:00I could have lost it in the darkest day of my
- 7:04life in 2021. And he showed me. Somebody is caring
- 7:09for me. And he took a year to show me that he
- 7:14who had taken care of me was the creator, was
- 7:17the God of the Bible, and that he was love. Even
- 7:21though I had denied him for more than 11 years,
- 7:25he showed me he is pure love. If we have an understanding
- 7:31that maybe God doesn't care or he's maybe like
- 7:34harsh. or judge or whatever we might call you
- 7:39call him i am pretty sure that is satan gaslighting
- 7:46god with his own character and making us think
- 7:49God does not love us and God does not care. That's
- 7:53what he does. Yes. But God does love us and God
- 7:55does care. Absolutely. You know, he healed me
- 7:58from so much trauma, physical, spiritual, mental,
- 8:03emotional. For me, it is a miracle. I'm standing
- 8:07here today happy with no fear, with no anxiety.
- 8:11I can sleep at night because I committed my life
- 8:16to the Lord and I asked him to heal me. And that's
- 8:20what he has done for me. So to answer your question,
- 8:24I started praying. Once I came back to God in
- 8:292023, I got re -baptized. I started praying,
- 8:33Lord, what would you have me to do? Because I
- 8:37was feeling pretty useless. I was about to turn
- 8:4150. And I was feeling pretty useless, like nobody
- 8:45cares. Wait a second. You can't be 50. Yes. Okay.
- 8:51Folks on camera, she looks like she's 30. Thank
- 8:54you so much. That makes me even, you know, more
- 8:58motivated to keep taking care of myself. Anyway,
- 9:01so, you know, I start praying every single night.
- 9:08Like, Lord, what will you have me to do? Like,
- 9:11how can I be of use to you? I don't want to be
- 9:14just... accepting you and then sitting on a bench
- 9:17every Sabbath and that's it. And so one night,
- 9:22I'm going to tell you this, one night I had this
- 9:26dream where I was crying and praying and saying,
- 9:29Lord, what do you want me to do? And I heard
- 9:33this voice that said, you will know in 285 days.
- 9:38And at the beginning, I did not pay much attention.
- 9:41But then every time I would try to pray every
- 9:44night the same prayer, like, Lord, I feel useless.
- 9:47What will you have me to do? I was pretty convinced
- 9:49nobody would want my help or to hire me or anything.
- 9:54And so the Lord will bring back that memory of
- 9:59that dream. And so I decided to write it down
- 10:03and to Google the 285 days from start point to
- 10:07end, see which would be the 285, like, date.
- 10:13And so I found, like, okay, it's this date on
- 10:17this month, so I'm just, you know, going to keep
- 10:19praying, doing my best, and wait. Well, you won't
- 10:22believe me. One of my therapists calls me. She's
- 10:26a dentist, and she's like, My husband works for
- 10:31this ministry in Bangladesh. They help women
- 10:34and children in danger. And they're looking for
- 10:38another board member, and I believe you would
- 10:41be the perfect fit. So I get interviewed, and
- 10:44I got accepted at that same day that the 285
- 10:49days came to pass. Wow. After that, I started
- 10:53working with them, just being part of the board.
- 10:56and learning more about the ministry. It's an
- 10:59amazing ministry, to tell you the truth. And
- 11:01so I started writing their newsletter. Recently,
- 11:07in May, I started feeling stuck in my own, because
- 11:12all of this is volunteer work. None of us get
- 11:15paid. And so recently I started getting like,
- 11:19felt like stuck in my own job. I do property
- 11:23management. I felt like I need to work for the
- 11:28Lord 24 -7. So I was looking for my replacement,
- 11:32and the day I got my replacement, the past president
- 11:36of Bangla Help calls me and says, I want you
- 11:39to be the new president for Bangla Help. So I
- 11:42accepted this past May, and 10 days later, I
- 11:46was in Bangladesh. Wow, you weren't expecting
- 11:48that. I was not expecting that, but it was definitely
- 11:52my dream come true. What a great story. I want
- 11:56to know more about Bangla Help. We're going to
- 11:57take a break in just a moment here and come back
- 12:00and talk about the ministry of Bangla Help, banglahelp
- 12:05.org. Thank you for being a part of our listening
- 12:08and viewing audience today. We are grateful to
- 12:10have you along, too. MissionSunlight .org is

- 12:28love to hear from you. We'd love to have the
- 12:29connection, so feel free to get in touch with
- 12:31us. This is Mission Sunlight Chat. We'll be back
- 12:34in a moment with more. Being a media missionary
- 12:44can mean many different things. It means the
- 12:47love of a home at the heart of the planet, the
- 12:51intrepid spirit of a village, and the vibe of
- 12:54a great metropolis. It means camera one and camera
- 12:58two. It means transforming a school, orphanage,
- 13:02or hospital. It means fire, rain, ice, and snow.
- 13:07It means gifts by the dollar and by the check.
- 13:11It means donations that roll and donations that
- 13:15fly. It's a movement on a trail or down a motorway.
- 13:21It means family. All of us together. And individually.
- 13:27It's who you are or who you are becoming. And
- 13:32to her, it's a simple gesture that means hope.
- 13:35Whatever it means to you, being a media missionary.
- 13:39means more than you might think. Welcome back
- 13:50to Mission Sunlight Chat from the exhibit hall
- 13:52here at the General Conference. the session meeting,
- 13:56every five -year meeting, the business meeting
- 13:58of the Seventh -day Adventist Church that's being
- 14:00held here. And exhibitors also come into the
- 14:03exhibit hall to share what Jesus is doing in,
- 14:06as we would say in the South, in their neck of
- 14:09the woods, but literally all over the globe.
- 14:12Ministries have come to share what Jesus is doing.
- 14:15And so it's a blessing for Network 7, for Mission
- 14:18Sunlight to be able to be a part of this conversation.
- 14:21And from all over the world, we have one of our
- 14:24ministries, Bangla Help. Deanna. Guinard is our
- 14:29guest today, and she's been sharing her personal
- 14:31testimony. And Diana, you are now, as you shared,
- 14:36president of Bangla Help, a fairly new president.
- 14:39That's right. How has that transition been for
- 14:41you? Have you enjoyed it? I think I have really
- 14:44enjoyed it because, let me tell you, I enjoy
- 14:46challenges. Okay. And so I believe that once
- 14:50I landed in Bangladesh, then I really started
- 14:53understanding. What was our ministry about? I
- 14:57heard about it. I've seen the pictures. I've
- 15:00seen the videos. I have sat at our board meetings.
- 15:03But to be there, it's something completely life
- 15:07-changing. And the language of Bangladesh, they
- 15:10consider that Bengal or Bengali? Yes, Bengali
- 15:13or Bengla as they say it. So you're Colombian.
- 15:18You speak Spanish. Yes. Clearly well articulated
- 15:22in English. And now you have this third language
- 15:25that you're learning. And I think there's maybe
- 15:27even some tribal languages in Bangladesh. I believe
- 15:30so, yes. Yeah, so you've got your hands cut out,
- 15:33a big learning curve. Yes, that's right. Tell
- 15:36me what Bangla Help is. I have this fantastic
- 15:38brochure. It says the mission is Bangla Help
- 15:41exists to bring hope and change to needy young
- 15:45and old people in Bangladesh by meeting needs
- 15:47and sharing Jesus. By God's grace and with our
- 15:50donors' help, we help 1 ,000 -plus needy kids
- 15:54daily. That's with education, school supplies,
- 15:56and meals. You train 100 -plus sex workers to
- 16:00read, write, and sew to give them new industry,
- 16:02a new way of making money. That's right. Jordan,
- 16:05I know you had the shot of that. I don't want
- 16:06to get it out in front of my face. And then sponsoring
- 16:09three safe homes for 50 -plus at -risk children
- 16:13of sex workers. That's right. That's the mission.
- 16:18That's a description. Tell me more about what
- 16:21is Bangla Help. Yeah, so... Basically, this mission
- 16:25was started by Dr. Mascala. I don't know if you
- 16:28heard about him. And so he started basically
- 16:31feeding hungry children in the streets. Afterwards,
- 16:35he saw, you know, the slums. The kids don't get
- 16:38to go to school, so they stay on the streets,
- 16:41and they can end up in any kind of situation.
- 16:45Basically, boys end up with, like, drugs. crime,
- 16:51involved in drugs and crime, and the girls usually
- 16:53go into sex trafficking, basically. And so what
- 17:00we try is to go into the slums with the biggest
- 17:04needs. Well, there's much work there to do, but
- 17:08right now we have five schools, five slum schools,
- 17:11in different parts of Dhaka, which is the capital.
- 17:14And we have about 1 ,000 -plus children that
- 17:19come every day to school. With free education,
- 17:23we provide their uniforms, their books, their
- 17:28textbooks, everything, and a meal, which would
- 17:31be lunch. We also have village schools, so in
- 17:35the poorest parts of the countryside. While we
- 17:41were working there, we saw there was a big need
- 17:45at the biggest brothel in Asia, in Daulatia.
- 17:49So Daulatia is about four hours away from Dhaka.
- 17:53Dhaka being the capital city. That's right. So
- 17:56we traveled in a small van. Then our van got
- 18:00on a ferry. And then it's like 30 minutes on
- 18:05a ferry, and then you land in Dalitia and you
- 18:09drive there to the brothel. And let me tell you,
- 18:12nothing could have ever prepared me to go into
- 18:16that brothel. I had to be bodyguarded by three
- 18:21men with guns. and five brothers of our of our
- 18:27ministry came and they were like all around me
- 18:30so it was eight men and at some point i thought
- 18:34i felt like i was every step i would take into
- 18:38that brothel i felt like i i felt evil i felt
- 18:43evil and i felt like i was going like straight
- 18:47to hell and i couldn't believe people have to
- 18:50live all their lives there like these women Many
- 18:54of them have been tricked into going for a job,
- 18:58and they end up being sold, and they cannot get
- 19:02out as young as 10 years old. And some others
- 19:07are sold by their own family. Others, I guess,
- 19:11they came because they had no other option how
- 19:15to make money. And so what happens is they end
- 19:18up getting pregnant. They live in a small room
- 19:21where they get abused and they keep their children
- 19:24there. So they started begging us to take their
- 19:29children out of the brothel. So we have started
- 19:33a couple of safe homes where we started receiving
- 19:37the girls first. But then they were like, please
- 19:41take the boys as well. we just started one new
- 19:45safe home for boys. And they are allowed to come
- 19:49and visit their children, but they're always
- 19:52supervised, they're always watched. They know
- 19:54that if they go further than what they had asked
- 19:58permission for, they'll probably be killed. And
- 20:02so... What we do is we have like a small room
- 20:06in the brothel where we teach them how to read
- 20:09and write and basic math. Once they've gone through
- 20:12that, we have another space where we have industrial
- 20:17sewing machines, and we give them a six -month
- 20:20course where they can get certified, and then
- 20:23they can go get a job. So it's not easy for them
- 20:28to get a job, to tell you the truth. From all
- 20:33the courses we do. Amen. But only 28 have been
- 20:37able to get out because they've gotten a job.
- 20:40Or they've received them back into their homes
- 20:44and they start their own business from their
- 20:45home. Okay. Yes. Wow. These are scarred, hurting
- 20:51women. And Bangla Help is helping them have a
- 20:55hand out of it. It sounds like a little more
- 20:58than a third are able to find... their way back
- 21:03into mainstream life? That's right, that's right.
- 21:06And we have many projects in mind, like we would
- 21:09like to start kind of a business that we can
- 21:12also be self -supporting in some way, and then
- 21:16be able to hire them in case they don't find
- 21:22a job out in the world. The only reason we don't
- 21:28have any more slum schools or any more safe homes
- 21:33to take more children is lack of funds. Okay.
- 21:36Yes. So let's answer that question. How can people
- 21:41connect with you if they want to support with
- 21:44funds or volunteer in some other way? How can
- 21:47they connect? Sure. So on the brochure I gave
- 21:50you, there's a QR code. Okay. and so we can we
- 21:53can show that qr code so that will be one and
- 21:58the website is and the website is banglahelp
- 22:01.org and we're going to put that in the bio so
- 22:04if people want to click on that or they can see
- 22:06yeah there we go so we have the bangla help and
- 22:12the qr code if you want to hold that up i think
- 22:15jordan's going to get a shot of it for you and
- 22:17we'll Which camera are we going to? There we
- 22:22go. Yeah, and people can just snap that. QR code,
- 22:26turn it a little toward me so it's a little bit.
- 22:28There we go. Yeah, thank you. Thank you, Deanna.
- 22:32We're going to encourage people to consider supporting
- 22:34banglahelp .org and the ministry that is transforming
- 22:39these women and children, right? That's right.
- 22:42And these little children's lives as well. And
- 22:45as you said, the only thing stopping you from
- 22:46helping more is resources. That's right. And
- 22:49we also sponsor them if they want to continue
- 22:54their life to a professional career when they're
- 22:57done with high school. We can sponsor them to
- 23:01go into Adventist universities and get their
- 23:07own careers. Yeah. And learn more about the love
- 23:09of Jesus. Exactly. But it's interesting. The
- 23:12love of Jesus begins with meeting their felt
- 23:15needs. They're tangible. Help, food, education,
- 23:21work. It's hard to think of a God who cares about
- 23:26you when you've got all of that other junk happening
- 23:30around you. That's right. So helping their basic
- 23:32needs. I think it's Isaiah 58 that talks about
- 23:36the kind of fast that God wants us to have. And
- 23:42it's first a fast of helping, sacrificing from
- 23:46self and helping. That's really what he wants
- 23:49from us in the very beginning, in the very basic.
- 23:52How will we help others? Banglahelp .org. That's
- 23:55right. We'll be back in a moment with a little
- 23:57more from you, Deanna. Thank you so much for
- 23:58sharing your story in this program. We will be
- 24:02back in a moment. We want to connect you with
- 24:04missionsunlight .org is our website. If you want
- 24:07to connect with us, 1 -423 -855 -4877 is where
- 24:10you can text. I want to remind you, clicking
- 24:13the share button will let others know about ministries
- 24:16such as Bangla Help and the other programs you've
- 24:19heard here. If you're blessed by Mission Sunlight

- 24:24and let someone else know through text or email
- 24:26or whatever way you want to do that. You can
- 24:28share that with a friend or even an enemy. We'd
- 24:32love for you to have others know what you are
- 24:35sharing in today. So thank you for doing that.
- 24:37We'll be back in a moment with more Mission Sunlight
- 24:40Chat. is reconnecting ourselves with the Creator.
- 25:02We must learn to abide in Jesus now. We move
- 25:07ahead with our mission objectives, recognizing
- 25:09that we are serving together the Most High God.
- 25:25Welcome back to Mission Sunlight Chat. We are
- 25:27at the general conference session of the Seventh
- 25:30-day Adventist Church in the exhibit hall. Look
- 25:32around at all the exhibitors that are exhibiting
- 25:34here. There are literally hundreds of ministries
- 25:37here to share what Jesus is doing around the
- 25:41world. Not only are there ministries here, some
- 25:43of the other exhibitors are sound companies,
- 25:45accounting firms, travel, tour, the Holy Land
- 25:50organizations. Just a variety of people who are
- 25:54involved in some way of sharing ministry. And
- 25:58it's such a blessing to be here and be a part
- 26:00of that. We're delighted to have our mobile studio
- 26:02here from Mission Sunlight Chat. And we are extra
- 26:05delighted to have Deanna here from Bangla Health.
- 26:08Deanna, you have touched my heart with your personal
- 26:11story and definitely with your story about these
- 26:16women. I don't want to get too much into my own
- 26:18story. But I was my birth mother was conceived
- 26:23illegitimately. And I am thankful for my parents
- 26:28who adopted me and kept me from a very, very,
- 26:33very messy life. And I am a Christian today because
- 26:37of those two Christian people who said, we want
- 26:41a boy and we want to share Jesus with him. I
- 26:43am thankful for for being. saved from that experience
- 26:49as I watch others who were not. Amen. Thank you
- 26:54for sharing that. It touches my heart. I know
- 26:56you have an encouraging word you want to share
- 26:57with us. Take your time and share what Jesus
- 26:59has laid on your heart. Sounds good. And just
- 27:02so you know, for those that are viewing, it's
- 27:03this camera here on the left. You can look directly
- 27:05at them if you like. Sounds good. Yeah, so basically
- 27:08I like what you pointed out, that it's not only
- 27:12about helping people get educated and get fed.
- 27:17Above all, we do all of this because we don't
- 27:21want them to be lost. We want them to hear about
- 27:25the truth. And Bangladesh, it's a Muslim country
- 27:29in its majority. It has some few minorities on
- 27:34Hinduism and also Buddhism. So it is very difficult
- 27:40to actually share. the message from the Bible
- 27:45as you can imagine, but I guess this is the way
- 27:50the Lord has given us to do it in places like
- 27:55Bangladesh. We believe in Isaiah 61 .1. I would
- 28:02like to read it. It says, The Spirit of the Lord
- 28:05God is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed
- 28:08me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He had
- 28:12sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim
- 28:17liberty to the captives and the opening of the
- 28:21prison to them that are bound. I do believe the
- 28:26enemy has bound people in Bangladesh. We were
- 28:31sharing the message of a God that created heaven
- 28:34and earth. And I remember this particular time.
- 28:40they came to listen to us in one of our schools
- 28:43the parents came to listen and It was just so
- 28:47touching they were basically They practice Hinduism
- 28:54and so when we were talking about a God that
- 28:57loves you that created a perfect world And this
- 29:01is not what he intended the way, you know, to
- 29:05have to go through pain and sorrow and you explain
- 29:09to them that it's actually the work of an enemy
- 29:13and not of a God that needs to be pleased and
- 29:17that feels wronged but actually yearns to call
- 29:22his children to come to him and be saved and
- 29:25be protected. in this sinful, broken world. It
- 29:31is just very touching to see their faces, how
- 29:34they would react. I could see their eyes light
- 29:40up. When they heard like, you know, there is
- 29:43a God that loves us. There is a God that he created
- 29:46everything perfect. We had no pain. We had no
- 29:50sorrow. We were not hungry. We didn't know what
- 29:53fear was. We didn't know what death was. We didn't
- 29:57know what anxiety was. And so when you describe
- 30:01all of that to them, they wanted to, you know,
- 30:05know more, to learn more. And so if we are able
- 30:09to do any little thing for them, I believe that
- 30:14will mark them for life and will help them at
- 30:17some point when it comes their time to make the
- 30:20decision for the Lord, for the truth. And I believe
- 30:25our world is definitely coming to that point
- 30:28when all of us are going to be put to test and,
- 30:33okay, decide, you know, where are you going to
- 30:36go. And I believe it's only through love, and
- 30:40Ellen White mentions, it is love that breaks
- 30:44the hardened heart. So I would like to ask if
- 30:50you have been touched by this ministry's work,
- 30:55if you have been touched by the need of the children
- 30:58and sex workers in Bangladesh, that you would
- 31:01please... consider not only donating but also
- 31:06praying for us because we face much challenges
- 31:09in this country. Amen. I would add my encouragement
- 31:15that they consider how they can help, whether
- 31:18it's resources, volunteering, and most definitely
- 31:22prayer. Prayer changes lives, doesn't it? Amen.
- 31:26Diana Guinard, banglahelp .org. Thank you for
- 31:30coming and sharing with us. I hope folks will
- 31:33connect with your ministry and that it will continue
- 31:35to be a blessing. Jordan and I have been to Bangladesh.
- 31:40Jordan, do you recall how long ago that's been
- 31:43since we were in Bangladesh? That's probably
- 31:46been about 12 or 13 years. Yeah, and while we
- 31:50were there, we visited a girls' school where
- 31:52they were taking girls and giving them training
- 31:55to be independent and teaching them some... microfinance
- 31:59and some basic business skills along with their
- 32:01other education. We also went and visited in
- 32:04some of the slums there in Dhaka. And so I've
- 32:07seen a piece of what you're talking about. And
- 32:12there is a great need there in Bangladesh. So
- 32:14thank you for bringing the story of the Bengali
- 32:17people here to us. Praise the Lord. Thank you
- 32:20for the opportunity. Jordan, would you just wrap
- 32:22us up in a word of prayer? Sure. Let's have a
- 32:24prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the
- 32:27way that you work in our lives. And we thank
- 32:30you that there are ministries that are reaching
- 32:33out to these special sect of people that are
- 32:40often forgotten about, but also they're taken
- 32:43advantage of in many ways. And we pray that you'll
- 32:46continue to help Bangla Health to continue to
- 32:50touch their hearts and teach them. how to have
- 32:55a business or be productive so that they don't
- 32:59have to be in these situations that are so harmful
- 33:03to their mind and their body and their soul in
- 33:07the end. I pray that you'll continue to touch
- 33:11the hearts there and direct their path as they
- 33:14will eventually turn their hearts to you. and
- 33:17choose to have a relationship with you. Thank
- 33:19you for everything you do in our lives, and thank
- 33:22you for using us to reach others for your kingdom.
- 33:25In your name, amen. Amen. Thank you, Jordan.
- 33:28Thank you, Deanna. We've been blessed to hear
- 33:29your story. Thank you to our listeners and viewers
- 33:31who've joined us along the way today. And thank
- 33:33you for giving us your prayers. Those are meaningful
- 33:36to us and know that we are also praying for you.
