- 1:38Speaker 1: Welcome to Vegas.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Revealed Episode 171.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Sean McAllister here alongside Dana Roselli.
- 1:54Speaker 1: What's going?
- 1:55Speaker 3: on.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Well, we've got an Amazon shop.
- 1:56Speaker 3: That's what's going on.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I'm excited to announce this new shop that we've curated.
- 2:01Speaker 3: We get so many messages from people that ask us like what should I bring on my Vegas trip?
- 2:07Speaker 3: What should I bring with me, what should I plan?
- 2:09Speaker 3: What would be helpful?
- 2:10Speaker 3: And so you and I sat there and went, you know what?
- 2:12Speaker 3: Let's curate lists and let's keep them updated and keep changing them for people who are looking for those items that they need to take with them on their trip.
- 2:23Speaker 1: And let's face it, when you get ready for your Las Vegas trip, you're going to be on Amazon anyway getting stuff to prepare.
- 2:30Speaker 1: And why not just go to our storefront where we have things categorized, all laid out in a super easy way?
- 2:36Speaker 1: You'll get the link to our Amazon shop down in our show notes.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and you'll find it on social media too.
- 2:44Speaker 3: So Sean and I will sometimes be working and we'll look at each other and go wait a minute.
- 2:49Speaker 3: You know what else is a good idea for a trip, or?
- 2:51Speaker 3: hey, you know what always happens to me Or that kind of thing.
- 2:53Speaker 3: So take a look and hopefully you'll find some good items there that will be useful to you.
- 2:59Speaker 1: We wanted to update you on something that we very briefly touched on last episode, about a casino being built kind of in the heart of the resort corridor right there at Harmon in Las Vegas Boulevard, right next door to Planet Hollywood, across the street from Aria and Crystal's shops.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Right now the plans are kind of on hold.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Right and I had mentioned I saw a rendering and this will include a hotel casino and like a whole entertainment district.
- 3:30Speaker 3: And so we looked deeper into it and Sean had mentioned yeah, remember that And we were like wait, what happened?
- 3:37Speaker 3: So, like Sean mentioned, nothing new really.
- 3:40Speaker 3: He's been approved and Tillman Fertitta, a casino operator here in town, big time shareholder in the wind, owns a Golden Nugget.
- 3:48Speaker 3: He bought that land and plans to build a hotel casino there, but for now, his company saying you know what, we're just kind of like waiting and nothing new, so we don't know what's going to happen there, but they own the land.
- 4:05Speaker 3: We were at Brew Dog recently and we saw I think it was when I was in the parking garage that I get some video and you could see the whole area being bulldozed around that area, and so we know they're prepping the land.
- 4:16Speaker 1: They are.
- 4:16Speaker 1: The land is prepped.
- 4:17Speaker 1: They've knocked down the buildings that used to be there.
- 4:21Speaker 1: It seems like it could be a situation where they're kind of waiting for inflation to ease up a little bit so that the cost of building a new development won't be like ridiculous.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's already going to be ridiculous no matter what, But right now building anything, it costs extra.
- 4:43Speaker 1: So, it seems like that could be one of the considerations.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and we did look at a couple articles and one of them in the Nevada Independent indicated that, from the vice president of Fratida Entertainment saying you know, i think we're going to wait a little bit.
- 4:57Speaker 3: So anyway, that's an update on that.
- 4:59Speaker 3: But he does plan to build a 43-story, 2,420-room hotel casino on that southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon And apparently he purchased the land for 270 million bucks.
- 5:15Speaker 3: So we'll have to wait and see.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the development will continue over there, and once there are developments on the development, we'll absolutely let you know.
- 5:25Speaker 3: But a new boutique hotel is now open in Las Vegas, and I say new.
- 5:29Speaker 3: It's refurbished, redone.
- 5:32Speaker 3: You may remember the Artisan.
- 5:33Speaker 3: It's on Sahara, like just to the south of Sahara.
- 5:37Speaker 3: It's almost like underneath the bridge there, And it was a very popular spot for a long time.
- 5:43Speaker 3: It needed some changes.
- 5:45Speaker 3: It is now officially the Lexi and it just opened.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and they've redone.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I don't think there's a surface in that property that they haven't touched.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I mean it looks beautiful.
- 5:58Speaker 1: The rooms that we've seen photos of look so nice and elevated And it is kind of a luxury boutique experience that they're offering over there.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm glad to see that there's new life breathed into that property because I know, especially for people who have lived here in Las Vegas for a long time, undoubtedly you have spent some nights over at, well, what used to be the artisan.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 6:29Speaker 3: So now that it's the Lexi, this is going to be the flagship location for elevations, hotels and resorts, so that's kind of cool, and it's going to have a couple of things that are very unique.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It's going to be one of the city's only European style pools And the pool's cute.
- 6:46Speaker 3: It's like a very, very nice pool, you know, not large and expansive or anything like that, but boutique, right, as you call it.
- 6:54Speaker 3: It has a huge Shangri-La like entrance, a big grand lobby, they've got a bar, they've got a lounge and it's undergone a multi-million dollar renovation.
- 7:06Speaker 3: So it's, you know it's a big deal.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Also, it is cannabis friendly And we know cannabis has become big business here in Las Vegas, and the Lexi is the first hotel in Las Vegas that is catering to the cannabis audience.
- 7:21Speaker 1: They've installed state of the art filtration and all of that.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So even if you stay there and you are not a cannabis consumer, they've taken steps to make sure that you know your experience is good too.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Right, they have designated floors that they're going to allow this.
- 7:36Speaker 3: So, anyway, go check out the Lexi.
- 7:38Speaker 3: If you're in town, maybe hit the bar.
- 7:40Speaker 3: It's a really cute boutique hotel, very elegant, and we welcome them to Las Vegas.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And, by the way, the bar is named the Artisan Bar, giving a nod to the history of the property too, so I love that they kept that.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Hey, recently we had a wide ranging conversation with a man who has really been on the forefront of shaping the modern Las Vegas experience when it comes to day clubs, nightlife dining.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Sean Christie is the CEO of Carver Road Hospitality, but over the years he has been an executive at Wynn MGM Resorts, the light group and Las Vegas Nightlife Group, so his resume is very long.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It is, and I remember talking with Sean way back in like 2006, when he was opening Jet Night Club over at the.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Mirage.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Remember that was like such a huge event to have jet opening over there.
- 8:40Speaker 3: That was pre one oak right.
- 8:41Speaker 1: It was Yeah.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I had to cover it for a magazine I was working for at the time as a side hustle job, a gossipy entertainment rag.
- 8:49Speaker 3: But yeah it was, it was a big deal, it was a great club.
- 8:55Speaker 3: And then you were saying, like bear pool, the ultra pools, he started that whole thing.
- 8:59Speaker 3: We used to love Blush Nightclub.
- 9:01Speaker 3: We talked to him about all this stuff in this conversation.
- 9:04Speaker 3: But we also talk about his latest opening And that is a new elevated sports bar experience over at Mandalay Bay.
- 9:13Speaker 3: We talked to him about that and how he shaped Las Vegas and created some of our favorite hotspots over the years.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Sean, how's it?
- 9:19Speaker 2: going man Doing great, getting ready for our opening in a couple weeks, i know, and we're looking forward to this.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So this is flanker is kind of going to be anchoring this entire fan district that's being built out over at Mandalay Bay and Luxor.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I know we've been walking by it when we've been over on property and excited about it.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Explain what this is going to be, what kind of experience for not only sports fans but just for Vegas visitors in general, as Vegas has evolved with sports obviously led by Golden Knights, aces, raiders, things like that, aviators, etc.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I'm a big sports fan.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I grew up in Boston.
- 10:02Speaker 2: All those teams Red Sox, patriots, bruins, etc.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Saltics was always a fan of.
- 10:08Speaker 2: But as a fan when I was younger it didn't matter that kind of sat in a crappy booth and had quote unquote bar food.
- 10:18Speaker 2: You could always get a cold beer.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Usually there was a couple TVs that you stream to watch.
- 10:28Speaker 2: As sports has grown and sports has grown in the city of Las Vegas, look, vegas does everything bigger and better and wanted to present, you know, great design, awesome seating so that you're comfortable, so you can sit and watch games, have premium food.
- 10:49Speaker 2: You know, our chef, our executive chef for the company, daniel Antevaros, who also homes the Carver State kitchen, is in charge of the menu.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Francesco LaFrencone, who's our vice president of beverage and culture for the company, is holding the you know kind of beverage program with a big emphasis on local beers, draft beers, craft beers and all that.
- 11:14Speaker 2: So it's combining the elements in my mind of the things that people want and then enhancing with over the top visual technology.
- 11:25Speaker 2: So there's a big screen that can be broken up into four televisions.
- 11:30Speaker 2: That's a little bit of a challenge.
- 11:31Speaker 2: That's about 30 feet long and 10 feet high.
- 11:35Speaker 2: That kind of anchors the main dining room.
- 11:36Speaker 2: We've got a beautiful lighting element in the main dining room that's based on the you know kind of Formula One track at night.
- 11:43Speaker 2: So taking all of these elements and combining them in there and then our location at Manila Bay, at the entrance to the Allegiant Walkway as you go over I think that you know that is our take on what we hope is a next gen restaurant and sports bar.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I also picture.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Of course people can stop there before and after games, but we realize that a lot of people actually write us and say I can't get to the game or I can't get a ticket, but I want to kind of watch the game close to where the action is.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Do you picture your place being like that too?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Well, i know about sports because I also in Boston when I worked in Boston pre 2000.
- 12:25Speaker 2: 2000 the company i work for, lines group, which still exist, had all the bars and night clubs on the street next to the way park.
- 12:34Speaker 2: So i think there's something to be said for proximity to the stadium.
- 12:39Speaker 2: You know there's such Energy and animation pre and post games that look sometimes maybe people don't want to or aren't able to go to the game but want to be close to it and be part of the You know excitement, energy.
- 12:54Speaker 2: So we serve those customers as well and i think there's going to be a large audience and we saw that That park and jam during gold night game, that again maybe they're not going to the team over the arena or in this case the You know the radar stated legion stadium But but kind of want to be in the mix.
- 13:11Speaker 2: So You know we cater everybody and i also think that you know what's interesting about Our position.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And then the light back is excalibur.
- 13:22Speaker 2: What's for manila bay, delan, four seasons are all connected, you know, with an interior walkway in a trend.
- 13:28Speaker 2: So that's a lot of hotel rooms and i think there's a lot of opportunity just to even serve those guests as well.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and i know you know talking about you all the.
- 13:42Speaker 1: The feel outside of fenway park is the same kind of thing in san diego, with a gas lamp district and you know having the ballpark right there, there is an energy that You know you don't necessarily get because of the Las Vegas infrastructure.
- 13:57Speaker 1: So i do love that.
- 13:59Speaker 1: That you're thinking about Kind of every aspect of the game day feel and giving sports fans you all of these different options, and are you finding that Sports fans are looking for a more elevated experience than you know what you talked about, what i've experienced, you know going to, you know the, the dingy little bars where you get that fried food, and you know being in an Elevated environment.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Are you finding that people are really craving that?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I mean, that trend has been going on for let's just call it five, ten years in Las Vegas.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Let's just say Again, the class biggest is always been ahead of the curve related to some of these things.
- 14:45Speaker 2: But sports betting, because we have it in town, i think vegas has been a step ahead.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But What causes me to want to leave the comfort of my home if i've got awesome sound, awesome TV, some things like that?
- 14:59Speaker 2: you again, you have to give the next level of experience in Vegas.
- 15:04Speaker 2: You have to do that times to sell With this amazing, you know, kind of tech package and audio visual That you know will be playing every game and again at night when the games for one of the more annoying things that i've seen to.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I just in general, most people are playing commercials and reruns of the end on the west coast after ten pm because all the games ended by about nine thirty.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Well, we're gonna have a whole package, visual package, so that it then morphs into something that isn't.
- 15:38Speaker 2: I feel like i'm in a place.
- 15:39Speaker 2: That's it either in the studio or local tv commercial.
- 15:44Speaker 2: So you know, kind of trying to think about Okay, it's gotta be more than just one trick pony And it's gotta be a place that people want to come for great beer, for great burger, and then sports, of course, is the you know kind of cherry on top, if you will yeah, right, and we have a lot of other questions for you, but but i wanted to ask, since this will run before It actually opens and we haven't been inside yet is it a large space?
- 16:14Speaker 3: do you have any signature items that people must order, because we love to give people good tips if they had over there?
- 16:19Speaker 3: is there something that you must Get or eat or drink when you go there?
- 16:24Speaker 2: I mean absolutely, we didn't do that.
- 16:26Speaker 2: You know, try to get a business.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I mean, you know we position this is a kind of Beer and burger forward place and so again, you know, dint Daniel did shut down the menu and on to various western bbq burger.
- 16:44Speaker 2: It's a half pound creakstone farm beef, it's got bbq sauce, it's got onion rings, it's got, you know, jalapeno aioli with, you know, melted white cheddar and swiss cheese.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I mean we kind of put that forward.
- 16:58Speaker 2: We got Busy shakes.
- 17:00Speaker 2: You can get a busier, not not busy shakes.
- 17:03Speaker 2: We got, you know, one of those shakes is the Elvis Presley which is Coincidentally dina whites.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Bourbon howler had banana bourbon with banana honey, bacon, peanut butter.
- 17:16Speaker 2: You know much kind of Elvis, i mean that sounds great.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of decadent things, but then you know, i do definitely sometimes you like that.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Try not to like that as a get a little older.
- 17:28Speaker 2: But you can get things like To the poke bowl, you know we have tacos, salad, so kind of Playing everybody, but definitely burger forward and those are some of the kind of fun or more gluttonous things.
- 17:42Speaker 2: We also have a for kind of beer enthusiasts.
- 17:46Speaker 2: We've got beer towers that hold, you know, 96 ounces of perfectly chilled, you know beer of your choice.
- 17:55Speaker 2: That, you'll see, will kind of be one of our signature ways of sharing beers instead of the pitcher.
- 18:01Speaker 2: That that's kind of popped up over the past couple years and you know people are doing it.
- 18:06Speaker 2: We've got a, you know, from chest go, found a polish one that is really elevated.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So you know, just just thinking about how do we take things that people want, uh, you know, not screw them up and again continue to try to make them um, in a way that's exciting and delicious.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:24Speaker 1: And you know, sean, we could probably sit here for the next five minutes and just run through all of the projects that you've been a part of here in Las Vegas since you got here back in 2000.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I know you're responsible for, you know some of the places that Dana and I have absolutely loved, like blush and jet, you know bear pool lounge over at the Mirage.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I was there more times than I can, than I can think of.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Um, you've really been at the forefront of developing the concepts that we now know Las Vegas for day clubs, nightlife speakeasies, supper clubs, i mean, is this and I know sports hospitality is a growing uh market here in Las Vegas?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Is that the next big hospitality?
- 19:15Speaker 1: I don't want to call it a trend, but I will, for lack of a better term but is that the next big thing in hospitality, I mean?
- 19:26Speaker 2: sports is as American, as you know, is as Americana as apple pie, and so the thing is is that, as I said, kind of with my roots growing up literally in the shadow of Fenway Park.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I mean, when you would hit a home run, when a team would hit a home run at Fenway Park, that ball would land on the street And the bar that I was the general manager of, i could run out the front step and I'd, you know, fight for that ball.
- 19:54Speaker 2: That's how you know, literally the shadow.
- 19:56Speaker 2: So my point is is that you know, there there's been several things.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I think number one sports and the availability and accessibility, buying streaming platforms around the world has grown sports, just in general.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You know women's basketball.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I'll give you an example.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Look, 10 years ago, did anybody really care in a meaningful way about going to a women's basketball game?
- 20:24Speaker 2: If you go to a Las Vegas aces game at Michael Obalto Arena, you might have 8,000 people.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 2: True, you know we got the champs here.
- 20:33Speaker 2: The first championship that came to Las Vegas is from the aces, a women's basketball team that's the best attended team in the WNBA Amazing.
- 20:44Speaker 2: So you know that it's really incredible when you think about it.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So, a we're happy to be in the same building as the aces and we're happy to be part of the brand.
- 20:55Speaker 2: You know Mandalay Bay, that is kind of on the forefront of sports.
- 20:59Speaker 2: But the other big thing in my mind that you know has put sports out there in a more meaningful way.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Look, with sports betting, with every company on the strip being part of sports betting in form, in the form of your phone, the fact that in 30 some odd states you can get on your phone, you can wage your in-game and bet on your phone, and things like that.
- 21:24Speaker 2: It's expanding, you know sports.
- 21:28Speaker 2: And then the other thing that I think has been, you know, crazy important as it relates to that is, look, fantasy sports.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Fantasy football is probably the most popular, but all these things that are things that people may or may not interact with, but certainly know someone who does.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Again, 10, 15 years ago maybe people weren't playing fantasy sports, but meanwhile, on August now, there are massive fantasy football draft parties.
- 21:57Speaker 2: That's gotten so big, and so all of these things in my mind has made sports for me and our company a major focus.
- 22:09Speaker 2: And I think that as this business around sports grows which again is growing like a rocket ship, especially in this town we want to be part of that.
- 22:22Speaker 2: We want to be part of the conversation of where the best place is to see a game.
- 22:28Speaker 2: You know and we want to, but we want to add a culinary element.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I don't know that anybody's added the culinary element to it.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I think there's a lot of good product And we just want to be in the conversation of well, where can I get a great cold beer, a great cold cocktail and an awesome burger?
- 22:51Speaker 2: And so we want to try to win things like who's got the best burger in town?
- 22:56Speaker 2: We want to try to win things like who's got the best you know kind of beer program in town combined with sports.
- 23:05Speaker 2: So I do think sports in America globally, but in America, and certainly in Las Vegas, is again I think it's already happening.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I think we're just trying to take another step.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I mean you are going to be well, you'll probably make all your money back and more Super Bowl week, right?
- 23:26Speaker 2: We should put in our reservation now.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, we kind of lucked into that.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I mean we're going to be one of the closest venues.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Incidentally, we've got a deal with the Arizona Cardinals and Bet MGM and we have a flanker at the Cardinals Stadium, so actually flanker.
- 23:46Speaker 2: we're part of the Super Bowl this past year in Glendale, arizona, the Cardinals Stadium.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Wow, so this would be number two for flanker Nice.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Well, looking forward to it.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Opens June 10th right.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Correct June 10th.
- 24:02Speaker 2: You got a green carpet opening June 9th from 6 to 9.
- 24:06Speaker 2: So hopefully both of you will be there as well.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah, we'd love to.
- 24:09Speaker 3: We'd love to.
- 24:09Speaker 3: It sounds great, and can we bring back Blush Nightclub?
- 24:12Speaker 2: I love that place, yeah you know everything that I've kind of been part of in town.
- 24:18Speaker 2: It seems like Blush struck a chord with people who just like the kind of living room feel, the living room party feel.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I think it was also, though, you know, when you've got something like that that really speaks to the core demographic of you know locals, you know the location off the valet, you know the fact that at that time we're so plugged in we still are to the industry and we're, you know, always try to still do take care of locals and industry people, and then you combine that with kind of the you know great room product that the wind has and everything.
- 24:55Speaker 2: That was really just kind of like a magical place.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I do want to bring Bosh back.
- 25:00Speaker 3: When I walk by that space and I see like a high limit slots, i'm like what come on?
- 25:07Speaker 2: Yeah, i mean I got a you know way back in the day when it eventually closed.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I mean I found out two weeks before we were closing it.

- 25:56Speaker 3: Well, i still have a book of matches in my bowl of amazing collected over the years.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I got a hat.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I got a hat.
- 26:03Speaker 2: That's.
- 26:04Speaker 2: My only remnant is the hat.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Well Sean, thank you for taking the time to chat.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Thank you, i appreciate it.
- 26:12Speaker 1: It's great to catch up with you and we're looking forward to seeing Flanker.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Flanker Kitchen and Sports Bar opening up over at Mandalay Bay June 10th.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Let's get to our tips now.
- 26:30Speaker 1: June is Pride Month all across the country and here in Las Vegas, mgm Resorts is really doing a great job of putting together a bunch of events for the Love Out Loud celebration, and it's taking place at a ton of their venues all up and down the Las Vegas Strip.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they're actually concentrating it on one weekend It's June 16th to the 18th and so that way if you come into town you can hop around to all the different events.
- 27:02Speaker 3: So that's kind of fun.
- 27:03Speaker 3: They're doing stuff at MGM Grand, they are doing stuff over at New York, new York's Coyote Ugly, and the list goes on, and I know, sean, we're gonna put something on our website because it's a long list with times and what DJs will appear and what kinds of things will be happening at each spot.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we have all of that information posted at Vegas-Revealedcom.
- 27:24Speaker 1: If you scroll down to the articles on our website, you'll see all of the Love Out Loud festivities that MGM Resorts are putting on.
- 27:34Speaker 1: There are free dance parties, lots of themed nights, like Dana mentioned.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Fun themes too.
- 27:41Speaker 1: They are fun themes.
- 27:44Speaker 3: And guests are also invited to show off their pride with a perfect insta moment.
- 27:49Speaker 3: You know, leo the lion, that big lion right inside the main MGM Grand lobby, is gonna be surrounded, apparently, with these rainbow florals to commemorate pride, so lots of people can take their picture in front of it.
- 28:01Speaker 3: They always do something to the lion which, like, has to do with that time of month or week, which is really fun.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I remember from the Grammys he was all decorated.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and sometimes he's in the middle of a boxing ring.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah, or like Golden Knights jersey, things like that, leo he's on it.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I love it.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Also, the lights on the side of the Luxor are going to be all rainbow colors as well for the entire month of June, which is kind of fun too.
- 28:28Speaker 3: I love that.
- 28:28Speaker 3: I know.
- 28:29Speaker 3: I live next door to the Sahara and they always change the Sahara sign.
- 28:32Speaker 3: They do a good job at that, and yeah, like literally every weekend to whatever you know, to support something or bring awareness to something and I know for pride they always do the rainbow as well.
- 28:43Speaker 3: So lots of good events happening there and kind of staying with that theme a little bit.
- 28:48Speaker 3: There's an interesting experience happening over at one of our Las Vegas wedding chapels that we wanted you to know about.
- 28:57Speaker 1: So we all know about Dana's love for all things Elvis.
- 29:01Speaker 1: So when we were notified about this wedding experience, we both just lit up.
- 29:10Speaker 1: It's great.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's not the traditional kind of Elvis wedding that you might think about.
- 29:16Speaker 1: This Elvis is actually shellvis.
- 29:22Speaker 3: And are we saying that right, or is it shellvis?
- 29:25Speaker 1: It might be shellvis, but I think I like shellvis, i like shellvis too.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I'm actually looking for the release right now because I wanted to bring up some more specifics.
- 29:34Speaker 3: But yeah, shellvis, you're right, i think it is shellvis.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Shellvis, yeah, is a drag queen Elvis that can marry you.
- 29:41Speaker 3: And now the pictures are fabulous.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I mean, shall this is all done up, the makeups fabulous, the hairs on point, the Elvis outfit is there, the whole nine?
- 29:57Speaker 1: I've never seen an Elvis that is more contoured in my life never, shall.
- 30:02Speaker 1: This is on point.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Then there's the Queens of Vegas.
- 30:06Speaker 3: If you don't want to do the Elvis thing, they can also marry you as well.
- 30:10Speaker 3: So it basically.
- 30:11Speaker 3: They have some new wedding packages featuring drag queens as themed officiants.
- 30:16Speaker 3: While they are going to also do song, perform songs for you, they're going to marry you, so it's a whole thing.
- 30:23Speaker 3: So if you want to be part of this and kind of have a whole pride theme To your wedding, or maybe you're renewing vows or you're doing a commitment ceremony, they can do that.
- 30:35Speaker 1: And so this is at the Viva Las Vegas wedding chapel.
- 30:38Speaker 1: these packages are launching in honor of pride month, but they are going to be available all year long, so keep that in mind when you're planning your Commitment ceremony, wedding renewal, whatever remember you have, shall this or the Queens of Vegas, who are available to officiate your ceremony.
- 30:59Speaker 3: We may have to get down there and witness.
- 31:00Speaker 3: If anybody does this, invite us, cuz I want to get down and see how this works.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Sounds like a blast.
