- 0:04Speaker 1: Drama, darling. Drama, darling. Drama, darling.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Hello, everybody. Welcome back in. It's Drama Darling. Guys, today
- 0:26Speaker 2: it's Traders Day. and Ultimate Girls Trip. I know, it's
- 0:31Speaker 2: a lot, but helping me do this is Emily Duresis. Ems,
- 0:36Speaker 2: welcome in.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Hi, welcome in. Thank you. I am very excited.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I know, I'm so excited too. By the way, the
- 0:44Speaker 2: welcome in darlings neon sign is compliments of Amy Power.
- 0:50Speaker 2: She's a sugar darling at the Patreon over there. And
- 0:54Speaker 2: I want to say thank you so much for donating. And,
- 0:56Speaker 2: of course, Emily gave me the drama darling sign. Getting
- 1:01Speaker 2: emotional because it's a sisterhood, you know. We'll talk about
- 1:03Speaker 2: that soon. Burned in neon. So burned in neon. So
- 1:13Speaker 2: we had a Patreon get-together yesterday. It was a sip
- 1:17Speaker 2: and spill. So we made a cocktail. We made the
- 1:20Speaker 2: scepter peach nectar from my cookbook. And we made the
- 1:24Speaker 2: five good summers carolvice. Carolvice. It was fabulous. A couple
- 1:30Speaker 2: people made the stuff. You don't have to like make
- 1:32Speaker 2: stuff in order to show up at these Zooms, you know?
- 1:35Speaker 2: It's really more about like the chatting. And we did
- 1:37Speaker 2: some polls and stuff and it was really fun. And
- 1:40Speaker 2: my point is thank you, darlings, who showed up and participated.
- 1:43Speaker 2: And I loved seeing you. Also, thank you, Gigi, for
- 1:47Speaker 2: the idea to print out.
- 1:49Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Wait, no. Who was it? Was it Gigi? Now I'm
- 1:54Speaker 2: getting it confused. I think it was Gigi that has
- 1:56Speaker 2: all of these traitors casts printed out. And so I
- 1:59Speaker 2: did it too. So now I don't just look at
- 2:02Speaker 2: my phone. I have a hard copy printed out like this.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Or no, I think it's Tracy. Tracy did this. Gigi
- 2:09Speaker 2: had a whole, like basically the TV guide printed out
- 2:13Speaker 2: in which she highlights stuff. We had a show and tell.
- 2:16Speaker 3: A TV guide.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Well, no, it wasn't a TV guide, but you know
- 2:19Speaker 2: what I'm saying? It was like that. She goes to
- 2:21Speaker 2: these websites about like what reality shows are coming up
- 2:25Speaker 2: and the dates and what times and where. And she'll
- 2:28Speaker 2: print out what she wants to watch and she'll highlight.
- 2:30Speaker 2: So look, you know what? There's a system to all this.
- 2:33Speaker 2: And I thought, look, I need to do that.
- 2:36Speaker 3: I was like a cheers and jeers. Gigi, a cheers
- 2:40Speaker 3: and jeers.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Cheers and jeers to you, Gigi. And Tracy, thank you
- 2:44Speaker 2: for the idea of printing out the cast list of traitors.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Now let's get in to traitors. Wow. It's new blood.
- 2:56Speaker 2: These are regs. I mean, by regs, I mean, you know,
- 2:59Speaker 2: regular people.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Yeah. Reasonable plaids. Reasonable, casual plaids.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Kind of like a working plaid. You know what
- 3:08Speaker 2: I mean?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Sort of a plaid that's affordable, wearable, and practical.
- 3:16Speaker 3: The working plaid. These are working plaid people that we
- 3:20Speaker 3: have on this show.
- 3:21Speaker 2: That's what Alan says. He goes, he leaves off camera
- 3:24Speaker 2: and he's just like, working class people. But I am
- 3:32Speaker 2: so loving this. Okay, obviously we're two episodes in. Thank
- 3:35Speaker 2: you for putting two episodes out there, traders. Because, you know,
- 3:39Speaker 2: one wasn't enough. And I like that we got somewhere.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I like that we actually left, you know, after two
- 3:43Speaker 2: episodes with a murder. You know, we had a banishment.
- 3:47Speaker 2: And we have a twist, which we will speak of.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But broad strokes, I'm loving the casting. My God, do
- 3:54Speaker 2: they do a great job. Emily, how are you feeling
- 3:57Speaker 2: about the casting?
- 3:59Speaker 3: I love it.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I think I feel bad that the producers were probably like,
- 4:04Speaker 4: holy shit, we did not realize we were going to
- 4:05Speaker 4: get a love connection.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And
- 4:09Speaker 3: then it blew up in their face.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Well, I mean, yeah, because we haven't seen that before. Oh, wait, actually. Well,
- 4:16Speaker 2: Phaedra and CT, you know, that fizzled in. That was
- 4:19Speaker 2: kind of like for show. And then now I say
- 4:22Speaker 2: it's for show. Other people think it's real. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I've been talked in and out of that thing.
- 4:28Speaker 4: But I think like one thing we have to remember
- 4:31Speaker 4: is with the traitors, too, like the only time you
- 4:33Speaker 4: are together is in that castle.
- 4:35Speaker 3: You're sequestered otherwise. So you leave the castle and you
- 4:39Speaker 3: go to your hotel rooms. It's like falling.
- 4:41Speaker 2: In love with a jury member. Yes. That you can't trust. Yeah.
- 4:48Speaker 3: So it's like. you can only go to the armory
- 4:51Speaker 3: and they're going to know then too.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Yeah. You're, they're going to think like if, okay. So
- 4:56Speaker 2: spoiler alert, obviously in episode two, Madeline is banished. And
- 5:02Speaker 2: by the way, major, major. Now, I mean, I call
- 5:06Speaker 2: her hair.
- 5:07Speaker 4: I call her blowout just because she has a perfect
- 5:09Speaker 4: blowout every time I see her.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Oh, I call her wolf cut. So Maddie, by the way,
- 5:15Speaker 2: her hair is amazing. And I'm so mad that she's gone.
- 5:18Speaker 2: A couple things. One, my middle name is Madeline. My
- 5:21Speaker 2: mother's name is Madeline. And my daughter's name is Madeline.
- 5:24Speaker 2: So for those reasons, I'm in. And now that she's
- 5:27Speaker 2: been banished, I will have a vendetta against Christy until
- 5:31Speaker 2: the end. Don't you forget it.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Christy was so right. She had, that was the Portia moment.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I mean, Portia, you, wait, you didn't hear Madeline say it?
- 5:47Speaker 4: She didn't say what Christy was saying, but she did say.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Oh, wait, no, wait. You're saying Christy said something or
- 5:53Speaker 2: Madeline said something?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Madeline. Madeline absolutely said... I.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Wrote it down. She said, I feel like shit. I
- 6:03Speaker 4: feel like shit for taking Kim out or whatever. It's
- 6:06Speaker 4: somewhere in my notes.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I'll get to it eventually.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, Madeline just said, I feel bad about picking Kim.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I feel like shit picking Kim.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah, she didn't say that. She said... I would feel bad.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I would feel bad. Like if she were a traitor,
- 6:21Speaker 2: I would feel bad for picking Kim.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Then she corrected it, but she said, I feel like
- 6:27Speaker 3: shit for picking Kim because they isolated it. And I
- 6:30Speaker 3: went back and watched it.
- 6:31Speaker 4: And then I was like, I'm going to listen to
- 6:33Speaker 4: it as though I don't have the caption.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Oh, no. I should have gone back because I think
- 6:38Speaker 2: Christie's wrong. So, but here's the thing. Okay, wait, let
- 6:42Speaker 2: me go back to the wolf cut and then we'll
- 6:44Speaker 2: get back to Christie. Yes. So, wolf cut. My daughter,
- 6:47Speaker 2: so she really loves, like, she was going to get
- 6:51Speaker 2: her hair cut, and so we were looking online, and
- 6:54Speaker 2: apparently she thinks, she knows that this thing exists that's
- 6:57Speaker 2: called a wolf cut. Well, she loves animals. She loves cats.
- 7:00Speaker 2: She loves the book series Warrior Cats. She's really into animals, okay?
- 7:06Speaker 2: So when she heard that something is called a wolf cut,
- 7:09Speaker 2: she wanted to get it. Well, you know, it's not
- 7:13Speaker 2: exactly the most attractive cut. You know what I mean?
- 7:17Speaker 3: On everybody.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:19Speaker 3: You have to have a specific.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You've got to have long, thick hair and a lot
- 7:26Speaker 2: of curist days, you know, to like help with that.
- 7:29Speaker 2: But anyway, so I was like, well, let's take a look. Like,
- 7:33Speaker 2: let's just go in and like, we'll have her do
- 7:34Speaker 2: a little bit, you know, you know, longer bangs in
- 7:37Speaker 2: front and maybe some layers in the back. And like,
- 7:39Speaker 2: we'll see if you like that before we like go
- 7:41Speaker 2: in hard with the wolf cut. Because I'm thinking there's
- 7:43Speaker 2: no way we're giving this gal a wolf cut, right?
- 7:45Speaker 2: So anyway, she gets a nice haircut. And then, you know,
- 7:49Speaker 2: a couple hours later, she's like, so can I get
- 7:51Speaker 2: the wolf cut now? You did what you wanted. Yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 2: we'll see. We'll see what happens with that.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So let's get to Christy and Madeline and Victor sitting
- 8:05Speaker 2: in the atrium. Sweaty boy. Yes. So she said, oh
- 8:12Speaker 2: my God, I'd feel like shit picking her. I'd feel
- 8:17Speaker 2: bad about picking Kim, right? So what did she say
- 8:20Speaker 2: when you went back?
- 8:21Speaker 3: I feel like shit picking Kim. That's what she said.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Are you sure she didn't say, I'd feel like shit
- 8:29Speaker 2: picking Kim? Because that's what I heard. That's what I heard.
- 8:33Speaker 3: That's what Victor heard too. And I think you're both
- 8:35Speaker 3: in love and you're blinded by love right now.
- 8:37Speaker 2: He's the hottest traitor here, so.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm going to agree with Michael. You didn't even have
- 8:44Speaker 2: to look at your thing. I did. But here's what
- 8:48Speaker 2: I didn't like about that situation. This. I mean, so
- 8:51Speaker 2: many things. First of all, honestly, do you think a
- 8:55Speaker 2: traitor would actually say and mess up that blatantly and say,
- 9:00Speaker 2: I feel like shit picking this person to die? That
- 9:05Speaker 2: is like the most ridiculous thing. that a traitor would do.
- 9:09Speaker 2: And I honestly can't see a traitor actually saying that.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I know it's come up in previous seasons where people
- 9:15Speaker 2: think that they hear someone say, oh, I feel bad
- 9:17Speaker 2: for picking them. I don't think any traitor, good or bad,
- 9:21Speaker 2: no matter how well they play the game or not,
- 9:24Speaker 2: would ever say that, ever. And the fact that Madeline,
- 9:30Speaker 2: I'm sorry, that Christy ran off like a middle school
- 9:33Speaker 2: girl who has, who just found out the secret that
- 9:38Speaker 2: who's going to be prom queen, you know, like telling everybody,
- 9:42Speaker 2: I was like, this is insane. I don't like her strategy.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I don't like how she was shooting her mouth off.
- 9:49Speaker 2: And she was so confident, writer girl, and dead wrong.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And I'm so happy about it.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:00Speaker 4: You are incorrect and how dare you speak of Logan's
- 10:03Speaker 4: mother that way that's my theory that she's Logan's mom.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Oh really but wouldn't we know that going in no that's.
- 10:11Speaker 4: The you know how like the UK does the reveals
- 10:13Speaker 4: that we don't know who's related sometimes so I wonder
- 10:17Speaker 4: if there's a secret relation in the cast that we're
- 10:21Speaker 4: going to find out later. But yeah, I think that
- 10:28Speaker 4: you're wrong. You're totally incorrect about Christy. And I think
- 10:31Speaker 4: I would have done the same thing.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Emily, we got two different game players right here and that's,
- 10:40Speaker 2: we're going to the castle.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Well, I think we can both agree though, that Wolf
- 10:45Speaker 4: blowout did not... Madeline did not defend herself well at
- 10:48Speaker 4: the round table.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Oh, we can both agree on that. That was despicable.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I'm not going to lie. And that's on her. I mean,
- 10:58Speaker 2: you can't come and play this game and then sit
- 10:59Speaker 2: at the round table and then say, I don't even
- 11:02Speaker 2: know what to say. Yeah. I can't even... That, I
- 11:06Speaker 2: can't even wrap my head around. I mean, I can
- 11:08Speaker 2: wrap my head around that more than I can wrap
- 11:10Speaker 2: my head around Christy being so sure that... that she said,
- 11:15Speaker 2: I feel like shit for picking her, everybody. I'm a traitor.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:23Speaker 2: So anyway, so all right. Agree to disagree. I do
- 11:27Speaker 2: like that Christy has regrets. I like that she feels bad.
- 11:33Speaker 2: And so she can try and work her way back
- 11:37Speaker 2: into my world.
- 11:38Speaker 4: But as of right now, Well, it's going to really
- 11:41Speaker 4: come back on her when Victor's also not a traitor.
- 11:45Speaker 4: And then they're going to be like, well, you're a traitor, Christy.
- 11:48Speaker 4: So like the traitors are safe for at least three roundtables,
- 11:50Speaker 4: I feel like, because, well, we'll see. That funeral director
- 11:56Speaker 4: is going to run his mouth right on out of
- 11:57Speaker 4: that castle.
- 11:58Speaker 2: But OK, Joe, you know, I love when we get
- 12:05Speaker 2: to see clips of all the all the faithfuls and
- 12:09Speaker 2: potential traders like having their interviews with Alan and they
- 12:13Speaker 2: get to tell him if they want to be a
- 12:15Speaker 2: faithful or a trader. I love those because you do
- 12:18Speaker 2: really get to see their personality and you realize that like, oh,
- 12:22Speaker 2: they have to see what they're capable of in order
- 12:26Speaker 2: to cast them as a trader. They're not going to cast,
- 12:30Speaker 2: you know, somebody who's going to be really, really quiet
- 12:33Speaker 2: like Logan.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Logan is a sociopath. This is a plaid boy sociopath.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I was just like, oh, my God. But I do
- 12:44Speaker 3: like him talking to his food.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I mean. I was just going to bring up that.
- 12:48Speaker 2: That's the only part that made me think he was
- 12:49Speaker 2: a sociopath. And he was like, oh, my God. We
- 12:53Speaker 2: got some spicy, hot, raw meat.
- 12:59Speaker 3: I was like, whoa.
- 13:02Speaker 2: You don't actually kill people here, Logan. You know that, right?
- 13:05Speaker 1: Like.
- 13:07Speaker 3: But you know what? He stepped up at that round table. Yeah.
- 13:09Speaker 3: All of a sudden, he's like Matlock.
- 13:12Speaker 4: And why are you quiet? And what brings you to
- 13:15Speaker 4: this conversation all of a sudden?
- 13:18Speaker 2: If I do may ask, if I might then, for
- 13:21Speaker 2: sure then, to ask you something, perhaps. Why did you
- 13:26Speaker 2: say that? Yeah, I like him. He's kind of like
- 13:29Speaker 2: a Jessica Lange.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. But he's wrong about the quiet game.
- 13:35Speaker 4: That is not how you play it because that is
- 13:38Speaker 4: what got Mama Kelsey out round one.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Remember? She got out so early.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Not even the powers of Taylor Swift could keep her
- 13:45Speaker 4: in there because she was so quiet.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Because she was a traitor and she didn't know how
- 13:49Speaker 2: to be a traitor. So she's like.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I know.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Kelsey!
- 13:54Speaker 3: That's what I would be thinking about Logan, too.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Well, Logan played the quiet game for half a day.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I think that was like... He's like, okay... The quiet
- 14:02Speaker 2: game is my strategy for the first 45 minutes. And
- 14:08Speaker 2: then I'm going to ask any question I goddamn want to. So,
- 14:13Speaker 2: but yeah, so they do their interviews with Alan and
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, put Joe in. Put Joe in as
- 14:19Speaker 2: a traitor. I love it. I love that he's a
- 14:21Speaker 2: funeral director and that he's a murderer, everything. It's all great.
- 14:25Speaker 2: It's all great. Tamika says, Loved it, too, because in
- 14:29Speaker 2: her interview, she was like, I've been competitive since I
- 14:32Speaker 2: was three and I'm not stopping. I was like, OK,
- 14:37Speaker 2: let's do that. The fact that they have these new
- 14:42Speaker 2: accomplices is new to me. Is this something that they
- 14:45Speaker 2: do over in the UK, Emily?
- 14:47Speaker 3: What do you mean new accomplices?
- 14:49Speaker 2: Oh, like Xavier and Katie.
- 14:52Speaker 4: That is a new as of this season. But, you know,
- 14:55Speaker 4: I don't know if they tested it in the UK season.
- 14:57Speaker 3: We haven't seen yet.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Whatever has filmed that we'll watch right after.
- 15:02Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 15:03Speaker 2: Oh, right. Got it. Well, that's hot off the press.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I mean, they did some lab testing over there. They
- 15:08Speaker 2: had rats running around with little trader's cloaks on. These
- 15:14Speaker 2: rats seem to do well with testing. Yeah. Okay, so
- 15:20Speaker 2: that's really cool. I... The cliffhanger. I just want to
- 15:24Speaker 2: jump to the cliffhanger because I loved that they had
- 15:26Speaker 2: a challenge that Xavier and Katie had to get the
- 15:30Speaker 2: death warrant out of the crime and punishment book. And
- 15:34Speaker 2: so it's yellow. And yet there are two books, right?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Are there two books?
- 15:40Speaker 4: Yeah, there's one in the living room, non-game room, and
- 15:44Speaker 4: then one in the atrium.
- 15:49Speaker 2: But only one of them has the death warrant, correct? Correct.
- 15:52Speaker 4: No, I think that they both have the opportunity to
- 15:54Speaker 4: get one. And so that was confusing to me because like,
- 16:00Speaker 4: it seems, I think they both have the opportunity to
- 16:03Speaker 4: get one, but then I was like, well, then why
- 16:05Speaker 4: wouldn't you grab both of them?
- 16:07Speaker 3: So, so we don't know who got what.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Because it looks like it's a folded paper. It seems
- 16:12Speaker 2: like if she couldn't find it in the one in
- 16:14Speaker 2: the living room, then it's probably not in there. And
- 16:18Speaker 2: it's only in one of the books. Is that like
- 16:20Speaker 2: a decoy thing? Wait, did they tell them that there
- 16:23Speaker 2: were two books?
- 16:25Speaker 3: It seemed like it, yes.
- 16:27Speaker 2: It seemed like it? Or did... Emily, if I might
- 16:33Speaker 2: just ask you a question for that note. No, okay.
- 16:35Speaker 2: So we don't know for sure if they actually said,
- 16:39Speaker 2: there are two books. You won't miss it. It's Crime
- 16:43Speaker 2: and Punishment. It's yellow. You have to get the death
- 16:45Speaker 2: warrant out of it. I don't remember him saying, there
- 16:48Speaker 2: are two books. And there are two death warrants and
- 16:53Speaker 2: you have to get the death warrants.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Well, I was kind of pissed because I was like, well,
- 16:57Speaker 4: wait a second. They've been working all day to try
- 16:59Speaker 4: to be great traders. And it's all going to come
- 17:01Speaker 4: down to this piece of paper, a challenge anyway. Like what,
- 17:04Speaker 4: what are we doing? But then I realized that like
- 17:08Speaker 4: only one of them could get it. And it was
- 17:09Speaker 4: almost like, it was like a murder in plain sight
- 17:12Speaker 4: kind of thing. But like, By the way, everybody's moving
- 17:16Speaker 4: through that castle like they're murdering in plain sight.
- 17:18Speaker 3: They are all acting so fucking weird.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah, totally weird.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Weird hugging, weird holding hands.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 17:26Speaker 3: I love hugs.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I love hugs, too. I'm like, is this your first
- 17:31Speaker 2: day of kindergarten?
- 17:33Speaker 3: But then he didn't hug Xavier.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Well, maybe he hugged him earlier. That's my only guess.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Because I thought of that, too. I'm like, well, that's rude.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Or they didn't show it.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 4: But yeah, I like that the cast too is kind
- 17:47Speaker 4: of calling out like, why are you being, are you
- 17:50Speaker 4: murdering right now?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Like it's fucking weird.
- 17:52Speaker 2: The dog groomer's like holding a seance right there. She's like,
- 17:57Speaker 2: hold on. Can I just take, I'm going to pluck
- 17:59Speaker 2: a piece of your hair out and I am, I'm
- 18:01Speaker 2: going to get some blood from you. I need to
- 18:02Speaker 2: run some tests to see if you're a traitor.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Nope.
- 18:05Speaker 2: You're good. No, I know. I mean, I would be like,
- 18:09Speaker 2: it would be so weird, right? I mean, there's so
- 18:11Speaker 2: much frenetic energy. Everyone, it's their first murder and oh
- 18:16Speaker 2: my God. And they're everywhere.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 3: And that second day, the second episode, I was confused
- 18:23Speaker 3: because it seemed like they came to breakfast. There was
- 18:26Speaker 3: no like game, which was fine. And then all of
- 18:29Speaker 3: a sudden we're at the round table.
- 18:30Speaker 4: I thought they were going to the round table right
- 18:32Speaker 4: after breakfast, but it was dark. It was light outside,
- 18:37Speaker 4: and then when they left, it was dark outside.
- 18:39Speaker 3: So I was like, well, when was this?
- 18:42Speaker 4: They must have come in late that day and then
- 18:44Speaker 4: just had that day to get to know each other
- 18:46Speaker 4: in the castle.
- 18:46Speaker 2: They had breakfast at 4 o'clock.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Or they're just playing tricks on us, and they make
- 18:55Speaker 2: it seem like it's dark out when they do a
- 18:57Speaker 2: roundtable just for the ambiance. Yes.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Well, they were walking down the hall and it was bright.
- 19:01Speaker 4: And I was like, OK, but what time of day
- 19:03Speaker 4: is this? And then all of a sudden they cut
- 19:05Speaker 4: to Alan, who's like in like crazy thriller darkness. Like
- 19:11Speaker 4: it was just like light, weird lights and smoke and dark.
- 19:14Speaker 4: And then after the roundtable was over and they're walking out,
- 19:18Speaker 4: I was like.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Well, it's dark outside. How did they get to? This
- 19:23Speaker 3: was a day to get to know each other and
- 19:25Speaker 3: a long ass roundtable.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Yeah. Maybe they needed to start the
- 19:29Speaker 2: roundtable early because there's so many people. Although that at
- 19:33Speaker 2: the beginning, we also should remember that the roundtables are
- 19:37Speaker 2: pretty short and considering what it's like later. I mean,
- 19:42Speaker 2: one thing that I took away from the these first
- 19:46Speaker 2: two episodes that I don't I really walk away with
- 19:49Speaker 2: broad strokes or like a macro view of things I
- 19:53Speaker 2: am very like I really get into the details so
- 19:56Speaker 2: it's fun to look at it from a bird's eye
- 19:59Speaker 2: view when you realize someone can bring up anyone for
- 20:05Speaker 2: anything and if you bring them up at the first
- 20:08Speaker 2: roundtable that's who you're voting for. And it, who cares?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Because that's, and that's the only time you have, you
- 20:15Speaker 2: run out of time and you've got nothing else. So like,
- 20:19Speaker 2: and that sucks.
- 20:21Speaker 4: It sucks, but it's also like the pressure of the
- 20:24Speaker 4: first round table to me is impossible because you do,
- 20:26Speaker 4: that's why I don't fault Christy because it's like, if
- 20:29Speaker 4: anybody has anything, but that's why you're incorrect.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Wait, just take your cockiness. To the cabins in the woods.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Go on.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Go on.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Continue. I'm sorry.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I was making asides. You were making a comment. Go ahead.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Cry Me a River.
- 20:50Speaker 4: How cheap is that song, by the way, to buy?
- 20:52Speaker 4: Because it's on every reality show now.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Oh, is it?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Some version of Cry Me a River. It's in Secret
- 20:57Speaker 4: Lives of Mormon Wives. It was in the last season
- 21:00Speaker 4: of Vanderpump.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Stop. And now it opened up the episode two. Yeah.
- 21:04Speaker 3: It was some version of Cry Me a River.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Anyway. Cry Me a River, I feel like, has always
- 21:09Speaker 2: been on Traitors. But maybe it's always been on Mormon. Oh,
- 21:13Speaker 2: now I don't know. You can't do this to us,
- 21:15Speaker 2: reality show people.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Well, I'm just saying Cry Me a River about your
- 21:21Speaker 4: Christy theory.
- 21:21Speaker 3: It's wrong. But I do think that I was really
- 21:28Speaker 3: bummed about... Coach Kim, by the way, because I wanted
- 21:31Speaker 3: to see her work that round table.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Man, that was such a drag. But they had Kim
- 21:40Speaker 2: dead to rights. Do you know what I'm saying?
- 21:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Like, they were like, oh, this person knows what's up.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It is incredibly intelligent. And I got to tell you,
- 21:53Speaker 2: Coach Kim didn't even say much. And they knew.
- 21:56Speaker 3: They knew.
- 21:56Speaker 2: They knew. It would be busted wide open. And for that, respect.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Was it Naya that was like, you're dressed like a lawyer.
- 22:04Speaker 3: You look like a lawyer.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Dead. Yeah, like why would you come in and say
- 22:10Speaker 2: you're a basketball coach and then dress like a lawyer?
- 22:13Speaker 2: Although I know that people are dressing for the occasion.
- 22:15Speaker 3: She dresses, she dressed like a head coach. She had
- 22:19Speaker 3: on her summit suit.
- 22:21Speaker 2: She looked like she was. That's fair. That's fair.
- 22:24Speaker 3: But I think that- Best.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Dressed- coach I've ever seen oh you don't watch a
- 22:30Speaker 2: lot of women's ball a lot of lady ball well
- 22:37Speaker 2: now are you okay so yeah I don't know I
- 22:40Speaker 2: don't I didn't realize the coaches dress that well now
- 22:43Speaker 2: the commentators they're knocking it out of the park now
- 22:47Speaker 2: those guys I love whenever Brett's got it on I'm
- 22:50Speaker 2: like oh what are they wearing but anyway so go
- 22:54Speaker 2: ahead about Kim.
- 22:56Speaker 3: I wonder too if we're going to see maybe Kim come.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Back because she doesn't she'll know the heights of Xavier
- 23:02Speaker 4: and Katie whichever one but she won't know their faces
- 23:07Speaker 4: and so there's a chance Kim could come back I
- 23:11Speaker 4: don't know they did tease some big surprise coming up
- 23:14Speaker 4: in the next two episodes of like some of a
- 23:17Speaker 4: person so I don't know if that's somebody we don't
- 23:20Speaker 4: know Or those weird Menendez gigglers that they've got putting
- 23:24Speaker 4: things into those two brothers, the identical brother twin detectives
- 23:29Speaker 4: roaming around the castle.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Like, where's Fergus?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Oh, the helpers. Fergus?
- 23:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Well, maybe he's going to make a special, maybe that's
- 23:39Speaker 2: the special guest.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Oh, maybe. You know, now I've talked about it.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, he's got to come back. Yeah.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Kim didn't see anybody, so she could, in theory, come back.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Hmm. Right.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Because they were masked.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah. I got to say, that was such a bummer. Okay.
- 23:59Speaker 2: So let's talk about Joe. He actually said about Katie
- 24:07Speaker 2: being an accomplice, you know, they were trying to figure out,
- 24:10Speaker 2: you know, who's going to be the better accomplice. And
- 24:12Speaker 2: Joe's like, yeah, Katie can get info from the youths.
- 24:15Speaker 2: You know, those cliques. Yeah, the youths. The youths.
- 24:17Speaker 3: It's kind of like the youth group. Or the youth clique.
- 24:23Speaker 2: And Xavier immediately at breakfast, immediately throws Katie's name out
- 24:31Speaker 2: there and under the bus. I thought that was good.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Within two seconds. It was so good. I mean, it
- 24:36Speaker 2: was like butter. I mean, you think that he's been
- 24:39Speaker 2: playing this game for six months. They show up at breakfast.
- 24:43Speaker 2: He sits down and everyone's like, oh my God. And
- 24:45Speaker 2: then Xavier's like, Alan said he wasn't done picking traitors.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Katie was acting weird, right? I was like, holy shit,
- 24:53Speaker 2: this guy is, he's out for blood. And I was
- 24:57Speaker 2: very impressed.
- 24:58Speaker 4: I was too until Tamika was like, that makes me
- 25:01Speaker 4: really nervous as a traitor.
- 25:03Speaker 3: And I thought, oh yeah.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Do you think so?
- 25:07Speaker 4: I mean, when she said that I did get, I
- 25:09Speaker 4: was like, oh yeah, if I'm a traitor and I'm
- 25:11Speaker 4: watching him.
- 25:12Speaker 3: But it's different. Fast and loose.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 3: But it's different.
- 25:17Speaker 4: If I'm up in that turret after, if I'm him
- 25:19Speaker 4: and I go up in that turret, I'd be like, hey,
- 25:21Speaker 4: she wasn't a traitor yet.
- 25:22Speaker 3: It was me or her to lose the game.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Also, maybe she thinks that He's she's maybe Tamika thinks
- 25:29Speaker 2: that he's really good because that was so good that
- 25:32Speaker 2: she makes her nervous because he could win this, you know?
- 25:35Speaker 3: Well, yeah, true.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Anyway, I thought it was good gameplay. But maybe in
- 25:41Speaker 4: this exact moment, it you're sending a signal.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I could go either way. Either way. I could see that.
- 25:51Speaker 2: And yeah, the first breakfast was fun and I loved
- 25:56Speaker 2: I loved seeing it. And Katie being like, well, I
- 25:59Speaker 2: guess we're going to find out. Oh, no, she's like,
- 26:02Speaker 2: I get to show my acting skills at breakfast. And
- 26:05Speaker 2: it's always so funny to see them like put it
- 26:08Speaker 2: on when you know who they are. I mean, the
- 26:10Speaker 2: show is just so fun like that. And she's good
- 26:14Speaker 2: because she seems like the peppy young gal. And honestly,
- 26:18Speaker 2: there usually aren't people who are that young on the show.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Would you agree with that?
- 26:24Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, I feel like there's always the one
- 26:27Speaker 4: that's going to be the youngest.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I don't know. UK does have some pretty young players
- 26:32Speaker 3: on there.
- 26:32Speaker 4: I don't think they're ever younger than 22 maybe, but
- 26:37Speaker 4: like I will say they do click up quick too.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Oh, interesting.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:43Speaker 2: So Joe's got that right. Yeah, he does. He does.
- 26:47Speaker 2: When Jay came twerking and dancing into the breakfast room,
- 26:52Speaker 2: That was the most iconic entrance we've ever seen. Not
- 26:57Speaker 2: a one celebrity has ever had an entrance that interesting, exciting,
- 27:03Speaker 2: and authentic.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I would have been like, he's a traitor. Get him out, traitor.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I could totally see that too.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:16Speaker 3: It's hard to know. It's hard to know what to do.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Because you don't know these people. You just don't know.
- 27:21Speaker 4: Because, like, why do you have so much energy? You
- 27:24Speaker 4: must have had a lot of sleep last night. You
- 27:25Speaker 4: must not be worried about getting murdered.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Okay. So you're a traitor.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Joe is giving me Michael Rappaport energy. The way that he's, like, really,
- 27:37Speaker 2: you know... speaking a lot and the way he speaks
- 27:41Speaker 2: like East coast, you know what I'm saying? I just
- 27:43Speaker 2: am getting that vibe from him. I don't think that
- 27:45Speaker 2: he's going to end up doing, you know, what Michael
- 27:47Speaker 2: Rappaport did, but I let's hope I'm sure he saw
- 27:51Speaker 2: the season and he learned from his mistakes.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 3: No, Joe's his own worst enemy. Yeah.
- 27:57Speaker 4: But he could also argue that like, you know, he
- 28:00Speaker 4: also kind of reminds me of Rob a little bit,
- 28:03Speaker 4: Boston Rob, and that like.
- 28:04Speaker 2: They look exactly the same.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Identical twins. Those are the next giggly detectives. I think
- 28:14Speaker 3: he's like.
- 28:15Speaker 4: He's going to get so, people are going to get
- 28:17Speaker 4: so used to his energy that they're going to not
- 28:20Speaker 4: read it as weird. And I think that happened with
- 28:22Speaker 4: Boston Rob for a big part of his game.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Great point. Two totally different personalities. Same strategy that you're
- 28:30Speaker 2: putting yourself out there as one consistent vibe from the jump.
- 28:35Speaker 2: You know, you're not doing what Logan is doing for
- 28:38Speaker 2: 45 minutes. I'm going to be quiet for the, uh,
- 28:42Speaker 2: for the entire round table. I'm, I'm going to be inquisitive, um,
- 28:47Speaker 2: for evenings out by the fire. I'm going to be mysterious.
- 28:51Speaker 2: You know, like I like that you are who you
- 28:53Speaker 2: are out of the gates and then everybody kind of,
- 28:57Speaker 2: they trust you. Right. Yeah.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Yeah. Joe said Katie with the little clicked up youth.
- 29:03Speaker 3: That's what he said.
- 29:04Speaker 2: With the little clicked up youth. I'm like, is this
- 29:08Speaker 2: Joe Pesci and my cousin Vinny?
- 29:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I just want to pop back over to the round
- 29:19Speaker 2: table and talk about Victor for a second because everyone's
- 29:23Speaker 2: questioning him for going for the shield during the challenge, right?
- 29:29Speaker 2: Because we had the two other people that got the
- 29:32Speaker 2: shield and but they got it after they worked hard.
- 29:36Speaker 2: And Victor just went right for it. Now, everyone seems
- 29:40Speaker 2: to have a different opinion on the etiquette or what
- 29:44Speaker 2: they would or wouldn't do with a shield. And I
- 29:47Speaker 2: guess I'm kind of like, if you're going to be
- 29:49Speaker 2: a faithful in the beginning, I suppose you would work
- 29:55Speaker 2: and you would do what you need to do for
- 29:57Speaker 2: the team and then try to find it. But I'm
- 30:00Speaker 2: also like, it is traitors. And if you see a shield,
- 30:05Speaker 2: like if you don't get it, someone else will. So
- 30:07Speaker 2: I sort of am like, why are they giving Victor
- 30:09Speaker 2: such a hard time? Where do you stand with this?
- 30:12Speaker 4: Well, I mean, yeah, you can't win being the first
- 30:15Speaker 4: one to get the shield. If he would have waited
- 30:18Speaker 4: 10 minutes and been the first, it's still, you're fucked.
- 30:22Speaker 4: You can't be the first one getting the shield. After that,
- 30:25Speaker 4: you can always argue that so-and-so did it. What I
- 30:28Speaker 4: was more impressed with was how un-hot Victor got the
- 30:31Speaker 4: more he argued for himself at that round table.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I was just like, what? I know.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Stop, dude.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Please stop. Please take a seat. I was like, oh, God.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Madeline's like, I want to leave.
- 30:44Speaker 2: I know. Bye.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:47Speaker 2: This guy's going to be bothering me the whole time. Oh, gross.
- 30:52Speaker 3: What happened to you?
- 30:54Speaker 2: And then he's like showing his sweat stains. He's like,
- 30:56Speaker 2: I'm a sweaty boy. Yeah, I mean, he's got a
- 30:58Speaker 2: great head of hair, you know? Like, I'll look at
- 31:01Speaker 2: his hair all the time. If he puts his head
- 31:03Speaker 2: down at that round table, love it. Can't wait till
- 31:05Speaker 2: he fills out another name on that chalkboard. Love to
- 31:08Speaker 2: see it.
- 31:08Speaker 3: I just couldn't believe, like, to see an adult whine
- 31:12Speaker 3: like that.
- 31:13Speaker 2: What's your problem, Emily? I don't understand what you're thinking.
- 31:19Speaker 3: But I do want to see him one more time
- 31:20Speaker 3: on that round table whining. Because it was so fascinating.
- 31:23Speaker 2: If you don't like grown men whining, you're not going
- 31:26Speaker 2: to watch Celebrity Traitors when it comes back to the U.S.
- 31:29Speaker 2: because Craig Conover is on it. And he's going to
- 31:31Speaker 2: be like, why didn't you guys pick me? I sew.
- 31:36Speaker 2: What's wrong with my sewing? I'm not a traitor. So, yeah.
- 31:42Speaker 2: And so that's what I wanted to talk about, about Victor.
- 31:47Speaker 2: And now we have, you know, a cliffhanger. Crime and Punishment.
- 31:51Speaker 2: We'll find out what happens with the death warrants. Is
- 31:54Speaker 2: there anything else you'd like to say before we move on.
- 31:58Speaker 3: To Ultimate Girls Trip? No, I think we're good. Let's go.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Wow. Let's go. Welcome in. Hi.

- 36:02Speaker 2: I don't even know exactly what happened, but at some
- 36:04Speaker 2: point I looked in the mirror and thought, excuse me,
- 36:07Speaker 2: let's work on this skin, you know, because I'm getting
- 36:10Speaker 2: a little older and I've definitely noticed more fine lines.
- 36:12Speaker 2: So I've got the uneven texture, a little bit of
- 36:15Speaker 2: dark spots, and I did not invite them to my party.
- 36:20Speaker 2: That's why I started using GU Skin Care. It's spelled
- 36:24Speaker 2: J-I-Y-U and pronounced G-U. And honestly, these rejuvenation toner pads
- 36:30Speaker 2: have been a game changer for me. I've only been
- 36:32Speaker 2: using them for about two weeks and I've already noticed
- 36:34Speaker 2: a considerable difference in my skin. It feels exfoliated, incredibly smooth,
- 36:39Speaker 2: and just refreshed. I love using them at night. I'm
- 36:42Speaker 2: just noticing a difference so quickly. And at this point
- 36:45Speaker 2: in my life, I don't have six months to wait
- 36:48Speaker 2: around wondering, you know, is this doing anything? These are
- 36:51Speaker 2: not your ordinary toner pads. Think of them as an
- 36:53Speaker 2: entire Korean skincare routine packed into one easy swipe. Each
- 36:58Speaker 2: pad is saturated with eight clinically backed Korean skincare actives
- 37:02Speaker 2: designed to brighten, hydrate, soothe, and target signs of aging.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, by the way, I do feel very hydrated.
- 37:09Speaker 2: My skin feels very hydrated. They have snail mucin. You guys,
- 37:14Speaker 2: get with the snail mucin. And that's for hydration and glow,
- 37:17Speaker 2: peptides to support firmer looking skin, and niacinamide to help
- 37:22Speaker 2: visibly brighten and even skin tone. And unlike some toner
- 37:25Speaker 2: products that can leave your skin feeling stripped, my skin
- 37:28Speaker 2: feels hydrated, nourished, and so smooth afterward. I love how
- 37:33Speaker 2: easy they are. I don't want a 14-step skincare routine.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I don't have time. I have too much reality TV
- 37:40Speaker 2: to talk about. I want something that I will actually use.
- 37:44Speaker 2: So I grab a pad, I swipe, and I'm done.
- 37:47Speaker 2: If you're trying GU for the first time, I'd recommend
- 37:50Speaker 2: the Glow Up Bundle. It includes their best-selling toning polish
- 37:54Speaker 2: pads and their moisturizer with NAD +. So it's an
- 37:58Speaker 2: easy way to experience the GU routine while getting their
- 38:01Speaker 2: best overall value. GU is dermatologist-tested, has over 650,000 happy customers.
- 38:09Speaker 2: and comes with a 90-day money-back guarantee. And right now,
- 38:13Speaker 2: GU is having a crazy deal for my darlings. Their
- 38:16Speaker 2: Glow Up Bundle is already up to 45% off, but
- 38:20Speaker 2: you can get an additional 20% off, plus free shipping
- 38:24Speaker 2: with my code DRAMA at j-i-y-u-skin.com. That's J-I-Y-U-Skin.com and use
- 38:33Speaker 2: code DRAMA for an additional 20% off. After you purchase,
- 38:36Speaker 2: tell them where you heard about them. Please support Drama
- 38:39Speaker 2: Darling and tell them we sent you. Enjoy the snail mucin.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Ultimate Girls Trip, you guys.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Wow.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I mean, this show just is a delight. An absolute delight. Now,
- 38:58Speaker 2: it feels funny to be talking about this again because
- 39:00Speaker 2: I literally just did a Watch What Crappens episode this
- 39:03Speaker 2: morning and I got to talk to Ronnie about it.
- 39:05Speaker 2: So I had a really, really good time doing that.
- 39:09Speaker 2: And now I feel like it was such a romp
- 39:14Speaker 2: that it's easy to go back through and even pick
- 39:17Speaker 2: up the things that I am just remembering now that
- 39:19Speaker 2: we didn't even hit on. But it's like, How is
- 39:24Speaker 2: it possible that they were, I feel like they were
- 39:26Speaker 2: just in Orange County and now they hit up um,
- 39:31Speaker 2: they started in Miami and then they went, they had
- 39:35Speaker 2: like four parties there and then they're like, bye Miami.
- 39:39Speaker 2: And then they're in New York and I don't know
- 39:41Speaker 2: how long we're going to be there, but probably two
- 39:43Speaker 2: more episodes because they didn't say that next week was
- 39:46Speaker 2: the finale.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Right. Right.
- 39:48Speaker 2: So they'll go to the Berkshires next, I would imagine.
- 39:51Speaker 2: And maybe there'll be two episodes in the Berkshires. Do
- 39:55Speaker 2: you think that's the case?
- 39:57Speaker 4: Oh, there's only one way to find out. And that
- 39:59Speaker 4: is to watch. There's no episode guide or anything. There's
- 40:03Speaker 4: no way that we could ever know. Now, I, I,
- 40:09Speaker 4: I am surprised that we left my, I felt like
- 40:13Speaker 4: we left Miami too fast.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Oh my God. So fast.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:17Speaker 2: They were at that party and they were all dressed
- 40:20Speaker 2: up so much effort. And then, or no, wait, sorry.
- 40:24Speaker 2: I was thinking of the costume party. That wasn't until later.
- 40:26Speaker 3: But the lingerie.
- 40:27Speaker 2: The lingerie. And Adriana's performance. And she's like literally in
- 40:31Speaker 2: the middle of her song and they're like, bye. Thanks
- 40:33Speaker 2: so much, Miami. And they're like, hot, hot, hot, hot.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Where are you going? Like we barely saw Jacqueline. We
- 40:45Speaker 3: barely saw Melissa.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Right? Wait, how? Okay. Seeing Teresa and Jacqueline. I'm sorry.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Seeing Teresa and Melissa interact for the first time since
- 40:58Speaker 2: they were on screen in Jersey. Right. Was wild. Teresa's like.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:04Speaker 2: How you doing? Is everything good? Just checking in. Hi, Melissa, Melissa.
- 41:10Speaker 2: And it was like, whoa, you guys are like talking
- 41:14Speaker 2: and you you film something you're filming together. I can't
- 41:19Speaker 2: believe it.
- 41:19Speaker 4: It was more about Jacqueline than anything.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Right. It was like and it was interesting to hear
- 41:27Speaker 3: Teresa be like, yeah, we were on pause because it
- 41:29Speaker 3: was too toxic. It was interesting to hear her actually
- 41:32Speaker 3: say that, too, like because. We didn't totally know, but
- 41:36Speaker 3: I was like, oh, I guess that is what it was.
- 41:40Speaker 3: So they really did have to make up.
- 41:42Speaker 2: I know. I mean, it's like, oh, you're talking about
- 41:46Speaker 2: Teresa and Jacqueline?
- 41:48Speaker 3: No, Teresa and Melissa.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 3: To be put on pause like that.
- 41:53Speaker 2: They're lucky because that they even brought them back. Like,
- 41:57Speaker 2: I don't, I think I've said this before, but I
- 42:00Speaker 2: don't believe that they made up for the best of intentions.
- 42:03Speaker 2: You know, they did it for... the opportunity. And what's
- 42:08Speaker 2: wild is like, it's just sad because the priorities, I just,
- 42:13Speaker 2: I'll never believe them that they actually really truly mean
- 42:17Speaker 2: it because they're so caught up in themselves and TV.
- 42:22Speaker 4: And yeah, you know, I, I was, I think I
- 42:26Speaker 4: would have, if I'm ever in doubt, I'm going to
- 42:29Speaker 4: remember this episode of ultimate girl strip, not because of
- 42:31Speaker 4: the scene with Melissa and this whole, this whole season,
- 42:35Speaker 4: Because Teresa, I'm realizing, is more than a calculated reality
- 42:40Speaker 4: person at this point. Like, I think she was that
- 42:43Speaker 4: and she's grown through it. I still don't want to, like,
- 42:46Speaker 4: hang out with her or anything. But I just, like,
- 42:49Speaker 4: seeing her on this, I'm like, oh, I can see
- 42:54Speaker 4: where she would actually be like, I'm going to fake
- 42:56Speaker 4: it till I make it with Melissa and just be
- 42:59Speaker 4: friends with her. And, like, I'm actually somewhat enjoying that.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Our family's enough together that I can do this.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Because she's so quiet.
- 43:09Speaker 2: She's gotten to the point where she can fake it.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Whereas before, she wasn't going to and she didn't have to.
- 43:16Speaker 2: But now when there's a paycheck involved, the stakes are higher.
- 43:20Speaker 2: And so it's like, oh, I can pretend that now.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I can do that. I can pretend. Right. And that's
- 43:28Speaker 2: the thing. You don't really want to see people pretending.
- 43:31Speaker 2: You want it to be real to some degree. And
- 43:35Speaker 2: I can't imagine either one of them being like that. However,
- 43:39Speaker 2: it's great. I support it. I think it's wonderful for
- 43:43Speaker 2: the kids to not have their parents feuding like that.
- 43:47Speaker 2: I mean, it's just so awful to grow up in
- 43:50Speaker 2: that situation and then reality television on top of it.
- 43:53Speaker 2: It is toxic.
- 43:56Speaker 1: It is.
- 43:57Speaker 4: And I also feel like if Teresa wasn't married to Louie,
- 44:00Speaker 4: maybe they wouldn't have made up because I think Teresa's
- 44:03Speaker 4: finances would be in a better position, maybe, allegedly, because
- 44:08Speaker 4: I worry about that. And so I do think they
- 44:12Speaker 4: got the some kind of word that like, if you
- 44:15Speaker 4: guys make up, there could be another season of Jersey.
- 44:18Speaker 3: And she's like, let's game on. And if Louie wasn't there,
- 44:22Speaker 3: I don't think she would have.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Hmm. Interesting. Yeah.
- 44:27Speaker 3: But that's just my theory, allegedly.
- 44:30Speaker 2: I think it's great. I like it. I'm fine with it.
- 44:37Speaker 4: I also wonder if we didn't get a lot of
- 44:40Speaker 4: Miami because we aren't going to get this cast from Miami.
- 44:45Speaker 4: And so we got all the update and then like, okay,
- 44:48Speaker 4: bye Jodi, Lisa, like Alexia and Todd, like, Okay.
- 44:54Speaker 3: That was it. That was your season of Miami.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Well, it is sad. I loved seeing them and I'm
- 45:07Speaker 2: bummed that it's not coming back like everybody else. I mean,
- 45:10Speaker 2: it really is a travesty. So, I mean, I know
- 45:13Speaker 2: that we didn't see most people for very long in
- 45:16Speaker 2: all the different cities, but this did seem very expedient. Um,
- 45:21Speaker 2: When Larsa and Lisa Hochstein were like talking and they
- 45:26Speaker 2: were just talking about like, well, you weren't there for me.
- 45:28Speaker 2: You weren't there for me. You weren't there for me. Okay,
- 45:31Speaker 2: let's hug.
- 45:31Speaker 4: I mean, that Marcus argument is a tale as old.
- 45:35Speaker 4: They have had that argument too many times. That felt
- 45:38Speaker 4: very contrived to me. I was glad that the cameras
- 45:41Speaker 4: followed them to them laughing in the bathroom because I
- 45:44Speaker 4: was like, if we, thank you for not giving us
- 45:47Speaker 4: the viewers the edit of them.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Us thinking that they were actually arguing because that was annoying.
- 45:54Speaker 2: I know. I think that they let us see them
- 45:57Speaker 2: make up and know that they're both single. Well, I'm
- 46:01Speaker 2: not sure about Larsa, but Lisa says she's single. And
- 46:04Speaker 2: Larsa's like, are you glad I was right about Jodi?
- 46:08Speaker 2: And then the unfollowing, oh, by the way, how about
- 46:12Speaker 2: that reveal of When Lisa Barlow was like, I met
- 46:16Speaker 2: Marcus in Italy on super yachts and I'm not going
- 46:19Speaker 2: to unfollow him. Sorry, Larsa.
- 46:23Speaker 4: I mean, Larsa telling Lisa not to name drop was
- 46:26Speaker 4: one of my favorite scenes in this whole deal.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I thought she told her to name drop that they should,
- 46:34Speaker 2: that she should tell these ladies like where she is
- 46:38Speaker 2: and what she's doing. So she said not to, that's hilarious.
- 46:42Speaker 3: She's like, you name drop too much. You're doing it
- 46:44Speaker 3: too much. And Lisa's like, I don't even care. I
- 46:47Speaker 3: don't even know about, I don't even care. And then
- 46:49Speaker 3: in the same breath, she's like, but you do it
- 46:51Speaker 3: too much. That's the thing. And Lisa's like, I know.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Cause it's like really special. And these are like, I'm
- 46:57Speaker 3: always like in awe.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Of like Blake Lively. Yeah. And Julia Roberts and Jenning Tatum.
- 47:03Speaker 2: I mean, I won't name drop all the people that
- 47:06Speaker 2: I see all the time. But for starters, like this morning,
- 47:10Speaker 2: I talked to Blake Lively and she just keeps going.
- 47:14Speaker 2: I don't name drop people like Blake Lively and Charlie Sheen.
- 47:17Speaker 2: I don't. But the fact that she was at the
- 47:22Speaker 2: accountant premiere, right?
- 47:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:25Speaker 2: And that's why she wasn't on that camping trip, that
- 47:27Speaker 2: cast trip for Salt Lake City. Right. And that Larsa
- 47:33Speaker 2: was like, I was there, too.
- 47:34Speaker 3: And she's like, I didn't see you.
- 47:40Speaker 2: So someone's lying.
- 47:41Speaker 1: I mean, right.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Because there's no how can you have two housewives at
- 47:45Speaker 2: one event and not be connected either by seeing each other?
- 47:50Speaker 2: That's likely you wouldn't see somebody. but like that word
- 47:52Speaker 2: wouldn't get out that there's another housewife. I just think
- 47:55Speaker 2: that's so weird.
- 47:55Speaker 4: Okay, my theory is that whatever, because Lisa's company was
- 47:59Speaker 4: doing an event for the premiere, and I'm like, I
- 48:02Speaker 4: wonder if Lisa was- She's working. She was working in
- 48:05Speaker 4: a different venue, like the after party or something for
- 48:09Speaker 4: the premiere, like some other event.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Oh, and not at the actual premiere movie. Like, oh.
- 48:16Speaker 3: It was my thought.
- 48:17Speaker 2: That's a good thought. She was like, there aren't enough,
- 48:20Speaker 2: apps on this tray to be passed you know but
- 48:25Speaker 2: she's like I'm with Ben Affleck there.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Was not enough apps at Lou's party by the way
- 48:30Speaker 4: I caught that oh really this The new New York
- 48:35Speaker 4: cast will tell you how much food is at a party.
- 48:38Speaker 3: And they were like, there's just shrimp here. There's no food.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's right.
- 48:41Speaker 3: That's right.
- 48:42Speaker 2: That's right.
- 48:42Speaker 3: That's right.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Oh, they will tell you. Remember Aaron had that party
- 48:45Speaker 2: and there was a sigh. Sigh is the really good one.
- 48:48Speaker 2: It's going to be like, there's no food here. I
- 48:50Speaker 2: am hungry. I'm pretty woman. Yeah. Lisa's like going over
- 48:58Speaker 2: by sign. She's like, hi. Hi, Julia. Hi, Julia. Yes.
- 49:01Speaker 2: You guys, I know Julia Roberts.
- 49:07Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, I know we're skipping around, but Jessel, man, she,
- 49:11Speaker 3: I tried to really be on Jessel's team, but I
- 49:14Speaker 3: cannot get there.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Well, she's making it impossible with the things that she's saying. Impossible.
- 49:20Speaker 2: yes why would you ever wear something twice if you're
- 49:25Speaker 2: anybody especially plastic balls I mean look at what I'm
- 49:30Speaker 2: wearing you're never going to see this again I'm going
- 49:32Speaker 2: to burn it to the ground outside right now watch
- 49:34Speaker 2: me burn it I'm like who are you anyway who
- 49:38Speaker 2: was she Is she a hockey player?
- 49:41Speaker 3: Yeah, she's a hockey player.
- 49:42Speaker 4: But I was also like, this is an iconic housewives
- 49:45Speaker 4: dress that Dorinda's wearing.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Also, it's a funny bit.
- 49:49Speaker 2: And you're from New York. How would you not support? Man,
- 49:52Speaker 2: the more we talk about this, I'm getting pissed off.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Yeah. It's on the heels of her, you know. Carol. Yes.
- 50:00Speaker 3: So I just, I don't know. She's on strike five.
- 50:04Speaker 3: I like just, I've lost. I wasn't a fan before,
- 50:07Speaker 3: but I tried to get on board. And I just
- 50:09Speaker 3: can't get on board.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Well, maybe you don't like fashion. That's why. Maybe you
- 50:14Speaker 2: don't have good fashion. That's what I'm saying.
- 50:15Speaker 3: I hate fashion.
- 50:17Speaker 2: See, that's what I'm saying. Maybe your attitude is that
- 50:22Speaker 2: of a bitch. Maybe that's what it is. I think
- 50:25Speaker 2: it is. Maybe you're just like Carolyn Bessette. Is it true?
- 50:29Speaker 2: Was she? Was she? Is it true?
- 50:32Speaker 3: What if she was like, yeah, it's true.
- 50:36Speaker 2: I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. I
- 50:38Speaker 2: knew it.
- 50:38Speaker 3: I knew it.
- 50:39Speaker 2: I knew it. I said to Pavel, that it was true.
- 50:44Speaker 2: I said it. I said it. He believed me. He listened.
- 50:47Speaker 2: So anyway, while he's making sandwiches in the kitchen. So
- 50:56Speaker 2: they leave Adriana's performance.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Yes.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Wait, wait, we have to talk more about before we
- 51:04Speaker 2: get out of that party. Go ahead. You go first.
- 51:05Speaker 4: I was going to say Kyle telling on their way out,
- 51:08Speaker 4: Kyle telling Vicky to get her personality juice, get your
- 51:12Speaker 4: personality juice.
- 51:16Speaker 2: That's one heck of a thing to say to somebody too,
- 51:18Speaker 2: because you know, it means to drink. Okay.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:22Speaker 3: And Kyle's sober. So I was just like, Oh, okay.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Kyle's like a different person on this show. I mean,
- 51:30Speaker 2: I mean, kind of it's, It's just so much more
- 51:33Speaker 2: of a laid back, happy-go-lucky Kyle, which is really nice
- 51:37Speaker 2: to see. And so is so many others. I mean,
- 51:40Speaker 2: Lisa's trying to be happy-go-lucky, but she's like, they're making it.
- 51:45Speaker 2: The Salt Lake City ladies are ruining this for me.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I'm having fun.
- 51:51Speaker 3: It's also like Kyle... her entire cast kind of said
- 51:55Speaker 3: personality juice to her. And that was her whole thing
- 51:58Speaker 3: is like, I'm so different now. That's not me.
- 52:00Speaker 4: And getting so angry about like Dorit. So I was like,
- 52:03Speaker 4: if Dorit said that to Kyle, she would have ripped.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Dorit's head off. Get your personality juice.
- 52:10Speaker 2: You know what? It's all in the delivery. Cause Dorit
- 52:13Speaker 2: would be like, get your personality juice, Kyle. Sound like
- 52:18Speaker 2: I said, Carl, but it's like, Kyle's like, Oh, my God. We're, like,
- 52:23Speaker 2: having so much fun. I love you, Vicky. Get your
- 52:25Speaker 2: Pirelli juice. You know, it comes off. It rolls a
- 52:29Speaker 2: little bit better, you know.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:32Speaker 3: Although Vicky gave her a look.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Oh.
- 52:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Well, Dorit's always trying too hard, too.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:40Speaker 2: And you know what? Vicky did. She was smoking a
- 52:42Speaker 2: cigar with Lou. And that was hilarious. She's, like, drooling
- 52:47Speaker 2: out of the smoke. And she's like, I'm just going to,
- 52:50Speaker 2: I'm going to eat, I'm going to, this is sweet.
- 52:52Speaker 2: I do this, I do this, I do this in Mexico.
- 52:56Speaker 3: It's like, wow, you.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Really are fun down there. But Luann showing up and
- 53:07Speaker 2: her lingerie fedora outfit. Like, of course, her lingerie outfit
- 53:12Speaker 2: has also a fedora. Every iteration of Luann. And I
- 53:18Speaker 2: can't remember who she showed up in the Halloween party.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Who was she at the Halloween party? Do we know?
- 53:23Speaker 2: The pirate.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 53:24Speaker 2: And if she had a pirate's hat on, guarantee there
- 53:28Speaker 2: was a fedora underneath it. And we just haven't seen
- 53:30Speaker 2: it yet. But just know it's there. But she's singing
- 53:34Speaker 2: happy birthday up there.
- 53:36Speaker 3: Remember? Yes. Happy birthday.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Happy birthday to you, John.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Happy birthday to you, John.
- 53:48Speaker 2: It reminded me of like when I do my live shows,
- 53:50Speaker 2: I always sing happy birthday to someone in the audience
- 53:54Speaker 2: as Luann. I'm like, who has a birthday? Because it's
- 53:58Speaker 2: just the best. It's so fun to do.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Then she. Oh, yeah. She was and she was annoyed
- 54:07Speaker 3: that about Lisa giving the speech about Lisa in Miami.
- 54:11Speaker 3: But I'm like, Lou, you've used this whole every episode
- 54:14Speaker 3: is a speech about Lou, which is, you know. Which
- 54:18Speaker 3: is also why it's so great.
- 54:19Speaker 2: I know it is. It's amazing. Yeah.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Lisa's speech was like very, I don't know. I would
- 54:26Speaker 2: imagine all the housewives hosting a party got the same formatted,
- 54:30Speaker 2: you know, email explaining what it is they're supposed to
- 54:34Speaker 2: do and what their obligations are and giving a speech about,
- 54:39Speaker 2: and a toast to 20 years.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Boy, isn't it interesting how everybody read that differently? Yeah.
- 54:48Speaker 3: I love it.
- 54:50Speaker 2: I love it too. It just goes to show who
- 54:52Speaker 2: you are, right? I mean. Yeah.
- 54:54Speaker 4: It's like in Bake Off when you get the second
- 54:59Speaker 4: round in Bake Off where you don't get the recipe.
- 55:02Speaker 4: The producers just gave you a couple ingredients and you
- 55:05Speaker 4: got to figure out.
- 55:06Speaker 3: How to do this. That's what they did with the housewives. Like,
- 55:08Speaker 3: here's a couple ingredients. Make a speech.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Yes. Yes.
- 55:13Speaker 3: And Lisa's like, a little about myself here. Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Okay, well, I was born and it was like, oh
- 55:21Speaker 2: my God, really?
- 55:23Speaker 3: I wish we had more Miami. I really do.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:27Speaker 2: All right. So now we're in the airport and Luann
- 55:30Speaker 2: is singing and all the way down the airport. And
- 55:35Speaker 2: I am like, she is not only a caricature of herself,
- 55:40Speaker 2: but she is starting to become like a type of
- 55:45Speaker 2: comedian who, Where they have one shtick and then they
- 55:49Speaker 2: show up like on all the reality shows, like, you know,
- 55:53Speaker 2: what are the family squares, that game show?
- 55:56Speaker 3: Hollywood Squares.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Thank you, Hollywood Squares.
- 56:00Speaker 4: Yeah, she's Rip Taylor and her confetti is a song.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Yes. It's like that's what she is completely becoming. And
- 56:09Speaker 2: I think that it's good for her brand in that
- 56:13Speaker 2: she could potentially... really go outside the realm of just
- 56:18Speaker 2: housewives and just be this really random cabaret woman that
- 56:23Speaker 2: shows up on stuff, game shows, everywhere. Like, do you
- 56:28Speaker 2: know what I'm saying? I see big things for Luann.
- 56:31Speaker 3: If it was 20 or 30 years ago, yes. Absolutely. Okay.
- 56:37Speaker 2: But then let's talk about reality shows. I see her
- 56:40Speaker 2: on Big Brother. I see her on Traitors. I could
- 56:43Speaker 2: see her on What other ones are there? Survivor. Can
- 56:48Speaker 2: you imagine if she was on Survivor?
- 56:51Speaker 3: Nobody's calling. And I don't understand why.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Well, maybe after this.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe. She would be great.
- 56:58Speaker 2: She'd be great on Celebrity Survivor. Yeah. She works out.
- 57:02Speaker 2: She's healthy. And she could be like, darling, I'm just
- 57:04Speaker 2: going to sleep right here in my statement necklace. Aren't
- 57:07Speaker 2: they allowed to bring one thing? She brings a statement
- 57:10Speaker 2: necklace or a fedora. Cigarettes.
- 57:12Speaker 3: Cigarettes.
- 57:16Speaker 2: And she would sleep with everybody on that island.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Yeah, her strategy would just be, you know, flirting with
- 57:22Speaker 2: everybody until the end. Can't put this flame out. Happy
- 57:27Speaker 2: birthday to you.
- 57:30Speaker 3: She was wearing her face on her shirt also at
- 57:33Speaker 3: that gangster lunch.
- 57:36Speaker 2: The mugshot?
- 57:36Speaker 3: This is my best seller. This is my best seller. Also,
- 57:43Speaker 3: her assistant dressing up as Lil... from the night she
- 57:47Speaker 3: got arrested was impressive.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Very impressive.
- 57:50Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 57:52Speaker 2: How about, so when they go to New York and
- 57:56Speaker 2: like Luann is in bed with her boyfriend, Michael, and
- 57:59Speaker 2: then Dorinda comes in the room. Yeah.
- 58:01Speaker 3: And then Michael gets like, there's a hug in his underwear,
- 58:04Speaker 3: which I'm like, I never want to hug.
- 58:06Speaker 2: This is so uncomfortable.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Yeah. Like my friend's fuck buddy in his underwear.
- 58:13Speaker 2: That was very inappropriate. Yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 3: It was weird as shit. It was so weird. And
- 58:19Speaker 3: he probably, like, smelled, you know, like, this.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Like, sex smell. I know. Just, like, cigarettes and nasty sex.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 58:28Speaker 2: Lose cabaret breath and, like, I mean, God knows what,
- 58:31Speaker 2: you know? So. Cool. During this, like, maybe she got
- 58:36Speaker 2: the fuck out of bed before I got here, see? Okay?
- 58:38Speaker 2: Kind of rude. Kind of rude. Um. And then Vicky
- 58:46Speaker 2: and Giselle and Portia eventually end up talking. And this
- 58:49Speaker 2: was Vicky's best moment of the entire thing.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 58:55Speaker 2: She was told that Vicky, that Giselle and Portia are
- 59:00Speaker 2: annoyed by Luann. And boy, did this look like she
- 59:04Speaker 2: was just basically getting a brick of gold, you know?
- 59:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:10Speaker 3: Was a jolt of personality juice. She did not even
- 59:13Speaker 3: need tequila.
- 59:16Speaker 2: I mean, there's nothing better than to hear someone's doing
- 59:19Speaker 2: worse than you.
- 59:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Someone is less liked than you because she's been taking
- 59:25Speaker 2: it from everybody. Oh, you're saying this. Wait, hold on. What?
- 59:28Speaker 2: Say it again. I love the sound of this. Keep going.
- 59:31Speaker 2: How much do you hate her?
- 59:33Speaker 3: You know, when did Lou flip the switch? Because I
- 59:37Speaker 3: feel like when I watched the first couple episodes, I
- 59:40Speaker 3: wasn't noticing. Was it really just that day drinking that
- 59:43Speaker 3: flipped the switch? Or was it prior? I guess it
- 59:45Speaker 3: was maybe a little prior to that. But Lou is
- 59:51Speaker 3: like now enemy number one.
- 59:53Speaker 2: I know, because she can't stop singing and talking.
- 59:57Speaker 3: And talking.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Because it was that, you know... That was that breakfast
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: or brunch she had where she was talking about, you know,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: interrupting Marisol and then she got in the car. Yeah.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: So it's really Miami that did it.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: It's Miami. Well, you know what? Sometimes things happen. You know,
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Miami brings out the best and the worst in people.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Probably.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: You know, so. And then we got to talk about
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: that mob lunch in the Bronx. I loved it.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Boy, was that great.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: Also that no one's speaking to Sonya.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I am so upset about this because
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: when we know that she does drop off the face
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: of the earth and she does her own thing when
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: she's not filming anything. Right. And Luann complains like to
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: be she wants her to be a better friend and
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: keep in touch. But like when she said she won't
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: show up unless she's getting at least five grand, I thought,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: you mean she wouldn't have gotten five grand for this
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: at least? That's some bullshit. Right. right?
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: It is some bullshit. She should have been, all of
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: them should be getting paid to show up.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: A lot.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: This show is making a shit ton of money on
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: the backs of these women. So they should all be
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: getting paid.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what she was offered, if she
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: was offered what, but I'm glad that she was a
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: holdout and I'm glad she didn't come and show her
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: face because she doesn't need to, you know?
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: I also was wondering, and I didn't look, but you know,
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: she was recently having those issues. Remember the ambulance and
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: all that like very recently and I was like I
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: bet that's about that time too that she had remember
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: they had to take her out of the club in
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: an ambulance that's right so yeah but anyway I was
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: kind of I was just wanting to hear more about
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: that but it got brushed aside and maybe.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: They edited that out.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: That cardboard cut out of Dorinda made me giggle out
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: loud it just was like the happiest thing And so
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: many things came out of that lunch. I mean, Dorinda
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: was on one that day. I mean, it was just epic.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: The clip, the clip, clip. What else came out? Oh,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: the safari outfit was so funny. Yeah.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: When you said Dorinda, too, it reminded me of later
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: on when Chanel keeps calling her Ramona. Like how angry
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: that would make Dorinda. But anyway, yes, that was awesome.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Classic, classic.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: That lunch.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: That lunch was such an amazing scene because it was
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: so real and it was deep and I just loved
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: every second of it.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Carol's incredible, you know, love letter to being a housewife,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: which she wrote at BravoCon, which I thought was interesting.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: And I'm so glad that she read it there because
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: some might call that a re-note, but I'm okay with it. No,
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: I'm kidding.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: I could not believe, and it was short and sweet,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: how quickly these ladies turned to tears. And Teresa having
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: such a breakdown, and it's true, and the saddest thing
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: about it for Teresa... I mean for me as a
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: viewer was like when she said everybody has so much
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: fun says they have so much fun on these I
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: haven't had fun at all and it's like no she
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: really hasn't like she I don't remember her having much
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: fun any year I really don't everything ends up turning
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: to shit and like if it isn't then it's about to.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah and it was awesome too when Lou
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: got up was like forged in the fire of Lou
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: here's my new song forged in a fire.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: Um i also thought like kyle talking about portia being
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: born with a microphone basically like always miked up for
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: every event was her essay for college and at the
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: end when portia says we all have mom guilt but
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: this is ours this isn't the type of mom guilt
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: i was like Perfect in every way. Like this was
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: so good because I was like, oh, it's so fucked up.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: Then I'm like, yeah, mom guilt's like so legit. I
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: don't know how people do it. So for Portia to
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: kind of put words to it, like, yeah, everyone has it.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: It doesn't matter.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: But this is, this is what ours looks like.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: I love that too. And I also really appreciated Kyle's
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: taking accountability as a mother, being like, I have to
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: live with this. Maybe I shouldn't have done this. I
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: made this choice for her, which is really interesting because
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: she was a child actor. And I don't think that
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: she chose that, right? So you would think that she
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: would be more prepared to make the decision to not
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: have her kids do that. However, she didn't. And not
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: to say, I don't know if she regrets it or not,
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: but it sounds like she does have some regret at
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: times And, but her kids seem to be amazing. And
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I mean, of course, we all appreciated seeing, you know,
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: little Portia grow up in the spotlight. She's really not
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: on camera that much. But seeing the montage of family
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: was very emotional. I mean, I definitely got choked up. And,
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: you know, the only thing that got us out of
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: it was Teresa being like, I mean, I got ADHD,
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: And it's like, High def, high def. What got me
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: out of it too was Portia being like, yeah, Pilar
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: was born on a spinoff. Everything Portia says gets me
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: every time.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: It was so good. Pilar was born on a spinoff.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Should go on a t-shirt. I mean, that's great.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: And I like that Teresa said at the end, she
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: was like, I had fun. Like with this, she's had fun.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: And this seems like it's been really cathartic for her.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, she's had fun. She feels like she
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: wants to purposely have someone's back, like Lisa Barlow's back.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: She's deliberately going in and wanting to take action. And
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: she's opening up very organically. And she's having fun. I mean,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: this is really a great Teresa to see.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: I feel like everyone is getting gifts out of this mentally, emotionally,
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: except for Vicky. So it will be interesting to know
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: by the end of this, she gets something positive out
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: of this that lasts and takes away some of the.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Shit that she has felt. But I feel like everyone
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: is getting something except for her.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Right. Right.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: But I don't know how open she is to it either.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: She's not open. And that's exactly what I was going
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: to say, is that she probably won't get something out
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: of it because... her energy, and I'm sorry to be
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: so like woohoo about it, but like when you are
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: coming in with this kind of energy, it can't flow, baby.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Like you are shut down and pent up. And I mean,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: a woohoo would be great. But at the end of
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: the day, I mean, there's a lot more for her
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: to learn and to reflect on. And it's kind of
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: a bummer that she's on this show and not like,
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: immersing herself in in the gathering of the witches of
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: housewives you know what I'm saying like it is kind
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: of a bummer because like they are gaining from each
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: other the only drama is coming from their cast members
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: when they stop by the cities and that's it everyone
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: seems to be getting along really really well.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: Yeah for the most part I mean for a housewives
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: event absolutely and to have this much growth at a
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: housewives event is also unheard of so.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it is unheard of.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: We have not heard it. We haven't heard it.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: Tell me, have you heard it? No, I haven't.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Forged.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: In HDHD, darling. I'm going to put that in my
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: new show. So, great episodes. Traders and Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Can't wait to get to the Berkshires. So excited. Yes. Bye,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: New York. I'm kidding.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: And we still have more costume party because Portia isn't
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: there yet.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: So we'll see how that goes.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Oh, that's right. Yeah. Hurry up, Portia. Oh, my God.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: All right, guys. We're going to wrap this up. Just
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: a couple of quick things. In case you didn't know,
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: I'm doing this charity event in Detroit on September 26th.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: I'm flying in Detroit this Friday. And the show is
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Saturday night. It's at the Opera House, Detroit Opera House.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: And it's got a ton– of really familiar faces. Mark
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Evan Jackson has put this on. and you're going to
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: get Sam Richardson, JK Simmons, um, tons of other folks,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: including myself. And it's a charity event for the Children's
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Fund of Michigan. So I have the, uh, link in
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: the bio of my, uh, Instagram, meet Amy Phillips. If
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: you want to get tickets, please come and see it.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: It's going to be a blast. And, um, And that's it.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: You know, thanks for listening, you guys. And I'm going
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: to roll some.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Drama, darling. Drama, darling. Drama, darling.
