[SPEAKER_01]: Merry Christmas!
0:07
[SPEAKER_01]: I know you've already opened a bunch of presents this past week, but if you look under the tree, I've actually got just one more for you.
0:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that one right there, right next to that empty space that I was supposed to fill with presents for everyone in my life.
0:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I have forsaken friends and family to give you one more podcast present, so like,
0:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Really enjoy it, okay?
0:30
[SPEAKER_01]: One of the biggest things that we did this year at many cited media was add a bunch of spectacular new shows to the many-sided network and so I'm giving you one last gift of another favorite TTRPG podcast for you to add to your collection.
0:46
[SPEAKER_01]: This last podcast in our many-sided advent calendar is a show called The Heart is a Dungeon.
0:53
[SPEAKER_01]: The heart is a dungeon is a multi-award-winning tabletop RPG podcast that focuses on sad, melancholy stories, with majority, bipoc, and fempresenting casts.
1:05
[SPEAKER_01]: This particular episode is episode one of their recent series No Gods No After, and it's a mini-series that tells the story of four fallen gods attempting to survive a night in the world of Pangea.
1:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you've enjoyed opening all of the boxes in this many-sided advent calendar this year.
1:24
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to enjoy the rest of our holiday break, but tune in on January 1st for the start of the next season of my first dungeon where we play, Parals, and Princesses.
1:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But without any further ado, please enjoy the show.
1:57
[SPEAKER_12]: No gods, no wafters, is a TTRPG tragedy taking place in the city of Pangea.
2:04
[SPEAKER_12]: This series is a little fucked up, so make sure to check the content warnings in the episode description.
2:10
[SPEAKER_12]: From all of us at the Heart of the Dungeon, thank you so much for listening.
2:43
[SPEAKER_09]: We see Pangea, the largest city on the planet of Glein.
2:52
[SPEAKER_09]: Who do we resemble this lake into the story?
2:55
[SPEAKER_09]: Surely we became the narrator who believed their own tale, and swallowed.
3:06
[SPEAKER_09]: You fall.
3:08
[SPEAKER_09]: We see a hand passied over smooth water.
3:14
[SPEAKER_09]: And you, fall, we hear the long calling voice of is that our mother or our father bidding us to come home, come stay, please tell me all you've seen, but you, fall, from heights not known enough to ever be loved.
3:40
[SPEAKER_09]: All across the horizon, we see a city scape, stretching to the ends of the world.
3:47
[SPEAKER_09]: And we see dozens, hundreds of lights descending, the same as you.
3:56
[SPEAKER_09]: And your form changes, as you are torn down from the sky, your form would no longer belong in paradise.
4:09
[SPEAKER_09]: and you are falling about to become fallen.
4:13
[SPEAKER_09]: And in this moment of worlds kissing themselves goodbye, we will stop the tragedy and hold it in place.
4:22
[SPEAKER_09]: If only for the last time.
4:26
[SPEAKER_09]: We want to look at you, we want to look at how you change, and at what you become.
4:36
[SPEAKER_09]: Nekka, as you fall, surrounded in family, what do we see when we see you change?
4:55
[SPEAKER_02]: It is pure, primal fear that encapsulates your vision.
5:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Mits the clouds and Mits these burning golden orbs, there is a twisting, mustily the ask-shaped creature trying to hold on claws, screaming, howling, swapping sounds of all predator and prey coming forward, model fur and feathers, all in this twisted almost, serpent-like shape.
5:23
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's the face that captures your eyes the most.
5:28
[SPEAKER_02]: man and wolf, eagle and crow, deer and hair, all mixing and appearing at the front, pulling back molding like some sort of terrible clay, neck and a carousth is not going to go down without a fight.
5:46
[SPEAKER_02]: But that is not today.
5:47
[SPEAKER_02]: For her claws do not take any traction, she can only scream.
5:57
[SPEAKER_09]: The entire world holds its breath as you pass by our broken hearts.
6:02
[SPEAKER_09]: We see another form above you, falling in this mutual calamity.
6:08
[SPEAKER_09]: What do we see Yena when we begin to read about you?
6:16
[SPEAKER_07]: Yena is no stranger to falling, but this is something else entirely.
6:26
[SPEAKER_07]: Unkept, this is a drift, this is far from her control, and Yena is someone who chases after that control.
6:40
[SPEAKER_07]: So as she falls, twisting through the air with nothing to grab onto, nothing to hold and no one to hold her in turn.
6:50
[SPEAKER_07]: She can smell burning.
6:54
[SPEAKER_07]: It's only then she realizes that it is, she herself, that is burning, as she falls and falls and falls.
7:02
[SPEAKER_07]: Pain is new.
7:06
[SPEAKER_07]: Why should gods feel pain?
7:07
[SPEAKER_07]: They are gods.
7:11
[SPEAKER_07]: But that has not saved her yet, and it will not save her as she plummets towards the ground.
7:19
[SPEAKER_07]: And for a moment.
7:21
[SPEAKER_07]: just before impact.
7:23
[SPEAKER_07]: She wonders to herself if this is where they were going all along.
7:33
[SPEAKER_09]: And in that moment before that thought becomes real, you step into the domain of another, descending from heights that will never be reached again.
7:45
[SPEAKER_09]: Eric Rae, what do we see when we turn to your page and find your name?
7:54
[SPEAKER_04]: A shroud dying, reborn.
7:58
[SPEAKER_04]: A question asked, unanswered.
8:02
[SPEAKER_04]: Their iridescent mantle burns away.
8:06
[SPEAKER_04]: They grasp at ribbons of fabric surrounding them.
8:11
[SPEAKER_04]: It burns away, too.
8:14
[SPEAKER_04]: The fabric concealing them whispering in the air, damp through clouds, falling, landing, where?
8:34
[SPEAKER_09]: All the promises have now been broken, as we look to a form near all of you, as though you have all fallen from the same constellation or dream.
8:45
[SPEAKER_09]: Eremus, what do we see when we see you?
8:56
[SPEAKER_10]: large clouds of black smoke almost as fire plummets down confusion this is new this is not where am I?
9:14
[SPEAKER_10]: you can see very glints of blackened white flame
9:28
[SPEAKER_10]: fear, screams, silence, what is, and just small flaps of smoky feathers from a single
9:56
[SPEAKER_10]: Sound silence, as speed collects, tearing down into this unknown land.
10:17
[SPEAKER_09]: You all learn and grow at the same moment, as you discover pain.
10:24
[SPEAKER_09]: You smash through level after level, level of a parking structure and downtown panjia on the world of Glenn.
10:34
[SPEAKER_09]: The pain builds slowly, almost too polite to screen without at least introducing itself, as it reminds you of what you now fucking are.
10:46
[SPEAKER_09]: There are no prayers rising too or from you in this moment.
10:51
[SPEAKER_09]: The dust has to settle.
10:53
[SPEAKER_09]: Everything has to settle sooner or later.
10:58
[SPEAKER_09]: And we see four figures rising from rubble, emerging in the dust.
11:08
[SPEAKER_09]: Who has gathered a new form to themselves first?
11:19
[SPEAKER_04]: Erikaie rises first, their charcoal top of their shroud, rising in the plume of dust, dust settling down the fabric draping their body to a grayish white at the bottom.
11:44
[SPEAKER_04]: Where are we?
11:48
[SPEAKER_04]: Pause and don't answer that.
11:53
[SPEAKER_04]: Let me sit here with this.
12:00
[SPEAKER_10]: As the dust settles on this unknown land that glinting black flame slowly shrouds out into whispers of deep dark, bigger and smoke.
12:16
[SPEAKER_10]: and forms into a large, very tall behemoth of a shadow.
12:26
[SPEAKER_10]: No face to see, no body to normally articulate or ambulates,
12:51
[SPEAKER_09]: With that question, your innocence is lost.
12:56
[SPEAKER_09]: You feel antsy, liquid gold hardening on your skin as you bleed.
13:02
[SPEAKER_09]: It drips off of you and strikes the concrete like a stone or a pebble.
13:06
[SPEAKER_09]: Interesting.
13:10
[SPEAKER_10]: It's pain.
13:13
[SPEAKER_10]: Air Miss pulls up his shadowy hand or what looks like a hand and he sees it falling to the ground.
13:19
[SPEAKER_10]: And he tries to catch it with his wing, but he notices that it doesn't move.
13:29
[SPEAKER_07]: The thing that pushes itself off the ground is starlingly human.
13:37
[SPEAKER_07]: It heaves.
13:40
[SPEAKER_07]: Its chest rises and falls with pained gasps.
13:44
[SPEAKER_07]: It crawls.
13:47
[SPEAKER_07]: Has to push itself up onto its knees and then onto its hands and then slowly support itself against a metal husk that used to be a car to rise to its feet.
14:01
[SPEAKER_07]: She looks down at her hands as she doesn't recognize them.
14:04
[SPEAKER_07]: That's hardly strange for her.
14:06
[SPEAKER_07]: What strange is that she cannot change them?
14:12
[SPEAKER_07]: These hands that are meant to be hers, but no longer seem to be our strangers as much strangers as everything that seems to be around her now.
14:23
[SPEAKER_07]: She touches her face.
14:25
[SPEAKER_07]: She still has a face.
14:27
[SPEAKER_07]: It's once again remarkably human,
14:31
[SPEAKER_07]: It's contorted and pain, and a grief that she doesn't recognize.
14:40
[SPEAKER_07]: Fight or flight.
14:44
[SPEAKER_07]: When flights no longer in option, she realizes, as she tries to bat her wings, beautiful wings.
14:53
[SPEAKER_07]: What wings?
14:55
[SPEAKER_07]: You don't have those anymore?
14:57
[SPEAKER_07]: Surely you must realize that.
15:04
[SPEAKER_02]: The thing in the corner of this parking garage, he's angry.
15:09
[SPEAKER_02]: It is a swirl of fury and sorrow and terror.
15:16
[SPEAKER_02]: mankind, the greatest predator that has ever stalked the earth, the last hunter.
15:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Mixed with his first companion, the face of a caned, small, large-yared, amber-eyed.
15:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Gloom stitched together in a way that is hauntingly familiar.
15:32
[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like something taken from a tribal epigraph.
15:36
[SPEAKER_02]: But it is made flesh, and she is angry.
15:41
[SPEAKER_02]: False, fucking fools.
15:43
[SPEAKER_02]: We're not supposed to believe we're not supposed to be the prey of the quarry.
15:46
[SPEAKER_02]: What are you doing in it?
15:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Looks for some kind of exits and kind of denies.
15:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Trying to walk.
15:54
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a newborn fawn if it had fangs.
16:00
[SPEAKER_04]: Is that you, Naka?
16:03
[SPEAKER_04]: Don't you wonder what it must be like, though?
16:07
[SPEAKER_04]: On the other side?
16:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so speakly speaks the fox when he's in the entrance house.
16:14
[SPEAKER_02]: You, you do so playing our fool.
16:18
[SPEAKER_02]: We are quick to die, our death awaits us all bare.
16:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Why not just crawl up in a den and no wait at it?
16:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Who is all you were ever good for?
16:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Possibilities.
16:32
[SPEAKER_10]: You see, the smoke moving across the space.
16:36
[SPEAKER_10]: This is new.
16:40
[SPEAKER_10]: Where?
16:42
[SPEAKER_10]: Why?
16:44
[SPEAKER_10]: I can't.
16:46
[SPEAKER_10]: Feel you.
16:49
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, well, I am here.
16:54
[SPEAKER_04]: At least, part of me.
16:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Snow, pain, hmmm, it's fine.
17:09
[SPEAKER_07]: Pain, we are no strangers to pain, we are strangers to feeling it.
17:17
[SPEAKER_07]: You and I both know the pain of humanity, and it seems they have decided to inflict it upon us.
17:23
[SPEAKER_02]: The cycle has flipped.
17:25
[SPEAKER_02]: The food chain now ends with us as it chokes around our necks or you would sit here and debate it.
17:32
[SPEAKER_02]: We must fully kill if we must.
17:36
[SPEAKER_02]: For now we are things that are killable.
17:40
[SPEAKER_10]: So, of course, it's a pain.
17:43
[SPEAKER_10]: Retribution, this is a...
17:51
[SPEAKER_04]: Wouldn't it be fun to discover, to experience?
17:58
[SPEAKER_04]: I will accompany you all if you wish to flee.
18:04
[SPEAKER_04]: I do enjoy your company.
18:07
[SPEAKER_10]: I seek no new experiences, only answers.
18:15
[SPEAKER_07]: If we must pretend that things can return to the way they once were,
18:22
[SPEAKER_07]: then I shall.
18:25
[SPEAKER_07]: It is hopeful to dream, and I do hope that this isn't our end.
18:37
[SPEAKER_07]: From the screaming outside, it seems that many are coming to theirs, and I would prefer not to witness any of your demise as any time soon.
18:50
[SPEAKER_09]: The light that is cast across you all is one from flame, from shadow.
18:56
[SPEAKER_09]: You can see into the street.
18:59
[SPEAKER_09]: You see Christen, the God of quiet mornings, a timid and gentle creature, convulsing as their throat is being opened over a bucket and gold is pouring out.
19:11
[SPEAKER_09]: They are surrounded by dozens of shapes that are cheering and laughing.
19:17
[SPEAKER_09]: You hear gunfire, screams, death, an organic trauma is coming from everywhere.
19:26
[SPEAKER_09]: The city is not open to you, but it is waiting.
19:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Neka will sort of half walk half crawl as if she's not quite gotten used to this malignant form.
19:42
[SPEAKER_02]: She has taken
19:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Come welps, we must find a den, some place dark and hidden from the recesses of land.
19:54
[SPEAKER_10]: Seems that... ...Necca's humor hasn't fallen either.
20:02
[SPEAKER_10]: And you can see Armas, the shadowy shape that forms into a beam, kind of descends into a pool of that black acre and smoke, and it slinks almost snakelike.
20:17
[SPEAKER_10]: Towards the nearest, like, whist of light.
20:22
[SPEAKER_09]: From this point, you could turn left or to the right.
20:27
[SPEAKER_09]: There are situations, large groups everywhere.
20:31
[SPEAKER_09]: Directly across the street, there's an alley that leads to a more green space, but it is dark there as well.
20:38
[SPEAKER_09]: Or you can go backwards.
20:40
[SPEAKER_09]: Your life is your own for now.
20:46
[SPEAKER_07]: The thing that's now Yena, every time you look at her, she seems to be different.
20:53
[SPEAKER_07]: If you didn't know her to be what she is, you might not recognize her at all.
20:56
[SPEAKER_07]: The only thing that seems to remain consistent is that the shirt she's wearing has completely burned off on the back and where her wings used to be are broken and tattered joints.
21:15
[SPEAKER_07]: her eyes are still the gold that you know.
21:17
[SPEAKER_07]: The gold that some of you have loved, that humans have loved.
21:24
[SPEAKER_07]: She looks around us the four of us walk.
21:29
[SPEAKER_07]: There's an unease to be had besides the witnessing of so many of her companions murdered, killed for their blood, killed for the simple pleasure of it, killed for existing.
21:45
[SPEAKER_07]: She is so used to people having to wear masks to fit in, to hide themselves away.
21:54
[SPEAKER_07]: Humanity is so good at hiding.
21:59
[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe it's the fall.
22:02
[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe she's not in touch with her divinity so much as she once thought she was.
22:06
[SPEAKER_07]: But there are no masks to be found here.
22:12
[SPEAKER_07]: Humanity has let loose, so to speak.
22:15
[SPEAKER_07]: and it unnerves her greatly and she treads as close to Erica as possible.
22:23
[SPEAKER_07]: Not quite holding their hand, but close enough that it's a comforting presence to be had.
22:40
[SPEAKER_09]: As you move out, if all of you would be so kind as to mark off one of those DAD points from the impact of your fall.
22:49
[SPEAKER_09]: Nekka, there is a moment in its unique, a call moving through you, like a distant horn requesting aid from a friend or a stranger, and you suddenly can see somewhere else.
23:04
[SPEAKER_09]: You see a beautiful gender-queer individual with a bright green mohawk wearing denim that's covered in patches, small and frame and terrified.
23:14
[SPEAKER_09]: There's a group of larger individuals holding baseball bats or chains and they enter the space and scan the area for them.
23:23
[SPEAKER_09]: Each wearing a cap with the flag of Pangea and the center bright and bold.
23:29
[SPEAKER_09]: And you hear this prayer.
23:33
[SPEAKER_08]: Hide me.
23:35
[SPEAKER_08]: Hide my way.
23:37
[SPEAKER_08]: Cover my trail, Nekka.
23:39
[SPEAKER_08]: I beg as someone who was wild and free.
23:43
[SPEAKER_09]: Nekka, you may spend a deity point to grant this prayer, but you do not have to.
23:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Survival is a selfish thing.
23:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Nekka hears this.
23:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Her ears twitch.
24:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Her canine head turning towards this cry.
24:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Another will for the pile, another weakling culbed by survival, evolution, she ignores it.
24:15
[SPEAKER_02]: This goddess tried to survive, she will spare no others.
24:22
[SPEAKER_09]: All around this city, stories are coming down and with a whimper and a lifetime of love being released from a broken body.
24:36
[SPEAKER_10]: with the screams in all of the action that's happening on the street in this smokey form aromest jumps between shadow to shadow.
24:48
[SPEAKER_10]: He felt the same notion that yet it did.
24:52
[SPEAKER_10]: He moves between shadow of each person of each human bouncing over his sibling gods and he goes adultery.
25:07
[SPEAKER_10]: This one's a liar.
25:11
[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm.
25:14
[SPEAKER_10]: That smell.
25:15
[SPEAKER_10]: That smell.
25:19
[SPEAKER_10]: And he hops from shadow to shadow.
25:25
[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm.
25:25
[SPEAKER_10]: That smell, it's pure.
25:29
[SPEAKER_10]: Searching, sir, it's sort of pure.
25:32
[SPEAKER_10]: No broken promises.
25:44
[SPEAKER_10]: And then he just hops between Shadow, looking for a cross-base.
25:51
[SPEAKER_10]: But he's being pulled by the scent, this pure scent.
25:56
[SPEAKER_10]: It doesn't smell the same as each Shadow that he jumps into.
26:00
[SPEAKER_10]: Every single person that he touches their Shadow.
26:03
[SPEAKER_10]: There is a promise that he can pull that he can see.
26:09
[SPEAKER_10]: That he can sense.
26:18
[SPEAKER_10]: Very small, black and white dog.
26:25
[SPEAKER_10]: Pure.
26:28
[SPEAKER_10]: No promises.
26:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Can't stay here.
26:43
[SPEAKER_10]: It's that large stalking shadow we form.
26:46
[SPEAKER_10]: It hovers over this dog.
26:49
[SPEAKER_10]: It reaches down, but not with a claw, not with a militia's intent.
26:56
[SPEAKER_10]: The probably the softest form that Aaron is taken since he fell, that smoke turns into a gentle hand.
27:05
[SPEAKER_10]: That hand leaps up into a very large arm, and now you can actually see somewhat of a human
27:15
[SPEAKER_10]: hole in this moment of one small whisp of purity in his eyes glow burning black.
27:30
[SPEAKER_10]: And he looks down at this dog and he goes, can't stay here, can't move in his speech begins to form out of ideas and thoughts and to need to find a place to be too high, need to find something and it just rages as if the sight
27:53
[SPEAKER_10]: of this purest form of love and companionship in loyalty is the adverse to what makes him whole.
28:02
[SPEAKER_10]: Any swings is head.
28:04
[SPEAKER_10]: Any locks eyes.
28:08
[SPEAKER_10]: With what he now knows is this pet's owner and he
28:20
[SPEAKER_10]: and he slinks back into that smoke and he whispers on the leg of this owner and has it travels up the leg in cuff out of cuff in one nostril out of the other into the ear but then forming into that astro smoke cloud of chaos and now anger
28:50
[SPEAKER_10]: and sinks right into the eyes of this being as Dr. Bear hits the ground.
28:58
[SPEAKER_10]: Dr. Bear's eyes who once were a very bright glinting gold falsified hope to all of his patients that gold sinks into a deep, smoking black pupils iris is consumed as he lays there.
29:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Bear or what used to be Dr. Bear will hear the delicate scratch of well-clipped nails well-tended paws, following behind him, but then the pup barks, and its jaw is far too wideer, too many teeth, too many eyes, and it's not a friendly come-hiver.
29:48
[SPEAKER_02]: It is the
29:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Dazzle pear, foolish quirk, how do we even share?
29:57
[SPEAKER_02]: The same Icar, look at you!
30:00
[SPEAKER_02]: All coming for this tiny little yapping beast as it struts forward, it's eyes, many eyes.
30:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Now looking for something somewhere as it calls upon its former godly powers to find a place of safety.
30:20
[SPEAKER_10]: Aaron Mrs. Dr. Bear sees this in a ghastly smile comes across his face and he bends down to the dog and he goes I've never seen you look more beautiful sibling Give me a roll for C through if you want That is a total of seven
30:51
[SPEAKER_09]: and you see this as a God-wood, options in destiny are active everywhere.
30:58
[SPEAKER_09]: Across the street in the alley, you see the smear of gold where a body was obviously moved, dragged through the stones in the dirt.
31:10
[SPEAKER_09]: In that same moment, in the other direction, where you saw your sibling being milked of their light, you hear gunshots as a well-armed group, in tactical gear and helmets, open fire on the mob, shooting them in the backs as they bend this angel forward for every last drop.
31:30
[SPEAKER_09]: These more official looking mortals go to Kristen once everyone is dead and move their body into a bag, silently carrying it on their shoulders and moving down the street in the other direction.
31:45
[SPEAKER_09]: You emerge from an alley into the hay hay community garden.
31:49
[SPEAKER_09]: At one time it was beautiful, but it is currently covered in ash.
32:04
[SPEAKER_09]: The thunder cracks through the sky and you pass by bees, the size of corkeys, small deer light creatures with wings, and yellow butterflies, lanes still all over the ground, not moving.
32:19
[SPEAKER_09]: There's a mural on a nearby wall of an impact of a wounding.
32:24
[SPEAKER_09]: There's a small figure standing in the center of it.
32:28
[SPEAKER_09]: There's also a shed, a little further in, up against the Magnolia trees, and the trell of gold no longer liquid, but now hard leads to there.
32:43
[SPEAKER_07]: As we walk, Erin Miss will hear a new voice, ask, Erin Miss May I have your coat, please.
32:55
[SPEAKER_10]: Arms, yes, need, takes the coat off.
33:01
[SPEAKER_07]: Yet a slides her arms into this coat.
33:06
[SPEAKER_07]: She seems much lighter now, some so small the jacket seems to envelop her entirely.
33:12
[SPEAKER_07]: I cannot hide myself as well as either of you.
33:16
[SPEAKER_07]: I'd rather not get caught out.
33:20
[SPEAKER_04]: I am completely hidden.
33:24
[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think, matter, you are always hidden, dear sister?
33:28
[SPEAKER_09]: Eric Ray, in that moment, a prayer does find you.
33:35
[SPEAKER_09]: You are not hidden from all.
33:38
[SPEAKER_09]: you see the inside of an ambulance.
33:41
[SPEAKER_09]: The siren is loud.
33:42
[SPEAKER_09]: The sounds of the world are so fucking loud.
33:46
[SPEAKER_09]: There is the face of someone sweating, wiping their brow with the back of their wrist, the hands are in gloves and covered in blood.
33:55
[SPEAKER_09]: We do not see what the life they are trying to stitch to time looks like.
34:00
[SPEAKER_09]: We do not see who they are trying to save, but they are praying.
34:07
[SPEAKER_09]: They taught this to us.
34:08
[SPEAKER_09]: What was it?
34:09
[SPEAKER_09]: What was it?
34:10
[SPEAKER_09]: I need to remember, please.
34:12
[SPEAKER_09]: Please remember.
34:15
[SPEAKER_09]: Out the windows we see chaos, the violence, a guillotine, the vehicle dodging people and bodies everywhere as it's trying to make its way.
34:25
[SPEAKER_09]: Do you grant this prayer and spend a part of yourself?
34:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
34:34
[SPEAKER_04]: There is a one.
34:36
[SPEAKER_04]: of begs for a reprieve, begs for a moment of shorness.
34:46
[SPEAKER_04]: I will enjoy this.
34:53
[SPEAKER_04]: Heracrate pause is very still, and you don't see a smile on their face or where their face would be shrouded under charcoal black fabric, but there is a piece very apparent in their form as they take in this moment.
35:19
[SPEAKER_09]: As you watch a light go dim, we see you moving through the garden, as lights fall from the sky behind you.
35:27
[SPEAKER_09]: You have reached this small structure, neck out within the shape of sky.
35:32
[SPEAKER_09]: It is not a large building, someone from here would assume it's for like groundskeeping or something of the sword.
35:39
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll use this pathetic quorum's little paws to just push on it.
35:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Test it.
35:44
[SPEAKER_02]: I am not used to this form, but if prey I must be, then the most difficult quorum I shall become.
35:52
[SPEAKER_09]: When the door opens, you see gold, harden a pool on the ground, light plain off of it from like a nearby camping light.
36:02
[SPEAKER_09]: and you see serenity.
36:05
[SPEAKER_09]: The goddess of love letters stretched out in their paper thing clothing usually shifting in a live with words all over it as terms for lovers or constantly being born.
36:17
[SPEAKER_09]: But you do not see that now.
36:19
[SPEAKER_09]: The paper is brittle and dry.
36:26
[SPEAKER_09]: You do see a brown skinned mask presenting figure, dirty with soil, with vines and plant life wrapped around his shoulders or his wrists.
36:37
[SPEAKER_09]: There are tears in his eyes and he holds her head and his lap.
36:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Are they sad because of this particular instance, or are they sad of something that led to it?
36:51
[SPEAKER_09]: Why don't you give me a roll for understand, uh, adding your soul modifier?
37:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Good.
37:03
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, that's beautiful.
37:04
[SPEAKER_10]: 12, I didn't roll double sixes but collectively it's 12.
37:11
[SPEAKER_10]: When we enter a smoke,
37:16
[SPEAKER_10]: bubbles, inductive bears eyes, and all of you can hear it, but no one else can, you just hear it.
37:24
[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm, sleep, and the smoke leaves, inductive bears eyes as he hits the ground.
37:33
[SPEAKER_10]: And it just trails across the arm of this person that we found and hovers over their face.
37:40
[SPEAKER_10]: This person when they look into it, the smoke is a deep dark black abyss.
37:47
[SPEAKER_10]: They hear small cries, not screams.
37:51
[SPEAKER_10]: And they hear whispers of others, you said you wouldn't.
38:00
[SPEAKER_10]: I can't believe you did this.
38:03
[SPEAKER_10]: Why would they do this to me?
38:07
[SPEAKER_09]: A mortal life is stretched out in front of you, like the sound of a music box, or an afternoon walk.
38:13
[SPEAKER_09]: There's not much worth mentioning, but it's easy to take in.
38:20
[SPEAKER_09]: But you do see this individual sit in this park a few months back, having made a decision to change.
38:28
[SPEAKER_09]: He allowed the plants to grow over him, he didn't eat, he did not speak.
38:33
[SPEAKER_09]: Locals began lighting candles in front of him or leaving photographs of clouds.
38:40
[SPEAKER_09]: The saint of the garden of there ever was one.
38:46
[SPEAKER_09]: But then you see,
38:48
[SPEAKER_09]: about an hour ago, his eyes moving up to the sky as he watches a star tumble.
38:54
[SPEAKER_09]: And the part of his heart that he believed to be asleep was broken, and he stood, tearing the vines with the movement, and Mark has made his way, with tired, tired knees as though going through a church aisle or an alleyway at the end of the world.
39:14
[SPEAKER_09]: And he found her, and he did not understand what was going on, or who she was, and he brought
39:24
[SPEAKER_09]: While they died.
39:25
[SPEAKER_10]: You're... Let's still... broken...
39:43
[SPEAKER_10]: This one isn't for me.
39:46
[SPEAKER_10]: Shame.
39:49
[SPEAKER_02]: The Therick.
39:52
[SPEAKER_02]: just from all the way down the ground where this tiny little pup is.
39:58
[SPEAKER_02]: It is chosen to lay down and die and be consumed, noble to return your worthless flesh to the earth at the very least, but this den shall be ours.
40:09
[SPEAKER_02]: For as long as the hunt shall take us, and Naka, in this tiny little form, is just going to go over and start trying to dig at the roots of where this man is,
40:24
[SPEAKER_10]: But they did keep their promise to themselves, shame, that was angry.
40:39
[SPEAKER_06]: You are always hungry.
40:42
[SPEAKER_06]: It is your nature.
40:45
[SPEAKER_09]: Some things are within our nature, and this man of the garden rises to give you the space.
40:54
[SPEAKER_04]: I would like to go up to them and place a shrouded hand on the side of their face.
41:04
[SPEAKER_04]: What is it that you wonder while you wait?
41:13
[SPEAKER_09]: He is not spoken and so long.
41:16
[SPEAKER_09]: He's not sure that you remember his how-to.
41:19
[SPEAKER_09]: He coughs and gasps, it's so dry.
41:22
[SPEAKER_09]: He shoves his fingers and has mouth into his throat, and he removes a single yellow butterfly that survives in the air, but just for a moment, before falling to the golden floor.
41:38
[SPEAKER_09]: How could one describe to you?
41:39
[SPEAKER_09]: The love a human can have for the entire world.
41:44
[SPEAKER_09]: that they do not wonder without knowing, they wonder after loving.
41:49
[SPEAKER_09]: When wonder and prayer so tightly bound, it can be impossible to separate the question from the worship.
41:58
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think I can answer your wonders.
42:04
[SPEAKER_04]: What a beautiful state.
42:08
[SPEAKER_04]: I think I'll let you stay here.
42:12
[SPEAKER_09]: What does mortal love resemble to a force such as you?
42:18
[SPEAKER_04]: It is a concept, so alien.
42:24
[SPEAKER_04]: Aircrate understands the desire to know.
42:31
[SPEAKER_04]: The desire to know if one's actions,
42:41
[SPEAKER_04]: to know if they are genuine, to know what they mean, but I don't think the aircray understands what they mean.
43:00
[SPEAKER_09]: As Mark has goes to the door to give one last offering to the gods, he opens it and you see three bullets ahead of him in the chest and he falls down.
43:11
[SPEAKER_09]: You hear heavy-butted feet moving through the park beyond that doorway surrounding the sacred moment with body armor and weapons being loaded.
43:21
[SPEAKER_09]: Once upon a time there were four fallen gods in a garden at the end of the world.
43:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Yet, eh?
43:42
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm Abigail Yazzi and I use your neck-a-nanny penis.
43:46
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm Sadie Passley and I had the privilege of playing AeroCray, the Uncee, the moment before dawn, the held breath.
43:55
[SPEAKER_11]: Hello, I'm Ian, or your boy Bing, and I played AeroMis, the god of broken promises.
44:02
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm Tatiana, and I played Yana, the goddess of masks.
44:08
[SPEAKER_09]: Nah, I'm Rara, but that's enough about that.
