Speaker 1: Hello everyone, and welcome to the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm
0:04
your host, Bobby Capucci, and this is Daily Drop number
0:09
four hundred and twelve. Hey, what's up everybody? Happy Saturday night.
0:15
Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend so far. As
0:19
for me, things have gone swimmingly nice and calm, easy weekend.
0:27
Spent the whole day today in the kitchen whipping up
0:30
about seven pounds of chicken palmagan to bring over to
0:34
my parents. My girlfriend and I went over there, ate
0:38
some food, hung out, watch both the Islanders and the
0:41
Rangers lose unfortunately, which is becoming quite a habit for
0:46
the Rangers so far this year. But I won't get
0:48
into all of that. We ate a bunch of chicken parmjan.
0:52
We had some obviously, some macaroni, some meatballs, some sazig
0:59
and Carrie really likes this place called Crumble, so it's
1:03
like this cookie joint. So she ordered some of these
1:06
cookies and I always tell her when she gets these
1:09
things that I'm not gonna eat any of them.
1:11
Speaker 2: They're too sweet for me.
1:13
Speaker 1: And then before you know it, I'm shoving about five
1:16
of them down my bearded face. So I guess I
1:21
should just stay away from those things because they obviously
1:25
have some sort of heroine or crack cocaine or something
1:30
like that in them, because once I start eating them,
1:33
I cannot stop.
1:35
Speaker 2: So we had those. My uncle cruz through.
1:39
Speaker 1: We had a tresleche cake that he brought over, and
1:43
we just hung out all day and had a good time.
1:45
And sometimes it's nice just to keep it real, mellow, real, chill,
1:50
hang out with the family, and you know, just eat
1:55
until you can't eat anymore.
1:57
Speaker 2: And for me, I enjoy cooking.
2:00
Speaker 1: So while I was cooking, I started listening to, well,
2:04
not started, but continued listening to an audio book that
2:09
I downloaded a couple of days ago, and it's the
2:13
book called The Ritual. Now I'm sure some of you
2:17
have seen this movie on Netflix. They turned the book
2:22
into a movie, and the movie's pretty good.
2:25
Speaker 2: Right.
2:26
Speaker 1: If you saw the movie, then you know you're like, oh,
2:28
all right, yeah, that was a pretty good flick. But
2:30
the book is ten times better. I mean, it is
2:33
way better. The tension, the way they build it all up,
2:39
the infighting between the dudes on the camping trip, and
2:43
then you splatter in a little bit of you know, mythology,
2:48
Scandinavian mythology, and all sorts of other cool little things
2:54
that the author, Adam Neville did, And You have yourself
2:58
quite a good book. And for me, when I'm out
3:03
on those solo hiking adventures, I like to listen to
3:06
books like that. You know, get it sets the ambience, right,
3:10
a little bit of trepidation as you're.
3:13
Speaker 2: On your own journey.
3:15
Speaker 1: So I was looking for something to fit the bill,
3:18
and like I said, I had read the I mean
3:20
I watched the movie. So when I was, you know,
3:24
messing around looking for a book that was set in
3:30
the outdoors that had like a horror tilt, I was
3:34
directed to this book by several different people who suggested
3:37
it on different forums. So usually I will avoid grabbing
3:44
a book that I've seen the movie to first because
3:48
I like to be surprised, right, I like some twists
3:50
and turns and all of that stuff. But I had
3:53
heard from these same forums that the book was nothing
3:57
like the movie and there was some different twists and turns,
4:00
hens blah blah blah. Well, before I ran for too long,
4:03
let's just say that they were spot on, and this
4:07
is a fantastic book.
4:09
Speaker 2: I talked about the Terror.
4:12
Speaker 1: A week ago, a week and a half ago, and
4:14
I finished that and that book is epic too. I mean,
4:17
Dan Simmons hit a home run with that book. But
4:20
with The Ritual, it's kind of a different kind of
4:25
horror book, right, more like a cult. There's a lot
4:27
of a cult in it, and it's just creepy as
4:30
f So if you're looking for a book to read,
4:34
or if you do audio books especially, I highly suggest
4:38
picking up The Ritual. So I again, I listened to
4:45
a lot of audio books and I read a ton
4:47
of books as well, and it's it's not very often
4:51
where I'm listening to a book and I feel it
4:55
in my soul like I did with The Ritual. Like
4:58
maybe it's because I hike a lot and I could.
5:01
I could totally feel what they were going through, Like
5:05
I had like a visceral reaction almost because I could
5:08
totally see what happened to them happening.
5:10
Speaker 2: But it was very disconcerting. The book.
5:15
Speaker 1: Well, I won't say terrifying, because I don't know if
5:18
i've since i've been an adult anyway, read or watched
5:21
anything that's absolutely terrified.
5:23
Speaker 2: Me besides the news. But as far as.
5:27
Speaker 1: Like disconcerting and like uncomfortable and like, okay, what the hell?
5:33
This definitely fit the bill and hit all of the levers.
5:38
So if you're looking for a quite a ride, I
5:42
would definitely suggest the Ritual by Adam Neville. It's like
5:46
an eleven hour listen, so I would guess probably few
5:50
hundred pages if you're going to read it. But either way,
5:54
if you do check it out and listen to it
5:57
or read it, let me know what you think. Send
5:59
me some email or send me a message on Twitter
6:02
or something, and let me know what you think about it.
6:05
And if you're going to pick it up, let me
6:08
know as well, let me know that you plan on
6:10
reading it so that we could chat about it a
6:13
little bit, because I'd like to see what other people's
6:16
reactions are as far as the story itself, very creative
6:21
in my opinion, So definitely, if you're going to check
6:24
it out, let me know and we'll bs a little
6:27
bit about that. All right, So onto our article. You know,
6:33
the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Prisons is
6:38
an absolute dumpster fire. Could it be any more pathetic
6:46
what goes on within these organizations? Now we know the
6:55
Justice Department, the laws are absolutely backwards.
6:58
Speaker 2: Most of the time. The courts are all screwed up.
7:03
Speaker 1: So we know that, and unfortunately, if you're paying attention,
7:08
you also know that the Bureau of Prisons is screwed
7:11
up as well. I'm not even gonna get into for
7:16
profit prisons or anything like that. That's in a different vein,
7:20
but in general, the Bureau of Prisons is an absolute
7:25
shit show. It should have been fixed a long time ago.
7:31
When people go to prison, they should go there with
7:33
the hope of some sort of rebility to rehabilitate themselves.
7:38
But that's not how it works, right. These people go
7:41
to these prisons and you go in there for one crime,
7:44
and you come out of there and you're an arch criminal.
7:49
And the people who run these prisons are clowns for
7:53
the most part. I hate to say it, but there
7:55
are clowns. I'd say that a lot of the guards
7:59
themselves are good people, right, And I'd say that a
8:02
lot of the administrators are probably good people and they
8:05
want to do.
8:05
Speaker 2: The right thing.
8:06
Speaker 1: But the bosses, like in every single one of these
8:09
other bureaucracies, are all seemingly up to no good. And
8:17
the article we're going to talk about tonight we're gonna
8:19
see that once again. The warden who took over at
8:23
the MCC after the Epstein situation to clean things up, well,
8:29
she's out now after about a year, after more allegations
8:34
have come down, more people have brought a pointing finger
8:39
towards the jail about the treatment of prisoners, contraband getting
8:44
in there, all kinds.
8:46
Speaker 2: Of wild shit.
8:50
Speaker 1: And you mean to tell me that this is the
8:52
best we can do with all of the money that
8:55
gets pumped into the Bureau of Prisons. I mean, I
8:58
want to say that they have like one of the
9:00
largest budgets outside of the Defense Department, and this is
9:05
the kind of quality and shit that we get. We
9:10
need a complete overhaul, we need a complete audit, a
9:13
complete overhaul, and we need to find a system that works.
9:18
Because I don't know about you, folks, but I'm tired
9:20
of wasting money, just throwing it into a black hole
9:23
and having people go to these jails, go to these prisons,
9:27
never had, never rehabilitate themselves, come out, and then repeat
9:32
the cycle over and over again, while some dickbag hedge
9:36
funget hedge fund guy who's involved in these for profit
9:40
prisons continues to get rich.
9:42
Speaker 2: I'm tired of all of that jazz.
9:45
Speaker 1: So this needs to be overhauled. There needs to be
9:49
a new system in place, some sort of accountability for
9:56
these people in charge, not just stepping down. I mean,
9:59
at the very if you're in charge of one of
10:01
these shitholes that's being run like the prison in that
10:05
movie Midnight Express Over in Turkey when the dude got
10:09
caught for smuggling hash or whatever. If you're running a
10:14
facility like that in the United States of America, then
10:17
you need to be held accountable for that. And that
10:21
doesn't mean just retire. Maybe you lose your pension, and
10:25
if there are criminal accounts that you can be held accountable.
10:28
Speaker 2: For, then that as well. But at the very least,
10:31
they have.
10:31
Speaker 1: To be made to know that if they don't run
10:34
a tight ship, if they don't have all of their
10:37
ducks in a row, and they are people doing the
10:39
right thing, then they're going to feel the pain in
10:41
the purse at the very least, because unfortunately, it seems
10:47
like a lot of these people who get these jobs
10:50
are just in it to cruise through, get that pension
10:53
and move on, Because how could it be possible that
10:59
all of these people that come through these places, all
11:02
of these wardens in all of these prisons. Can are
11:05
they all just completely moronic or is there a lot
11:11
of greed that's going along with it as well? Again,
11:14
I don't know. I don't have any you know, direct
11:16
information pointing to that. But you know how these bureaucrats work.
11:21
There's a lot of eating at the trough, a lot
11:23
of wetton of the beak. And it might not be
11:27
your usual, oh, showing up with an envelope to bribe
11:30
somebody or whatever, but there's other ways. Right, you get
11:33
this contract, you get that contract. I put in a
11:36
word for you here, I put in a word for
11:38
you there. I'm the warden. I'm the one who decides
11:40
what food company comes in here.
11:42
Speaker 2: You get my drift.
11:44
Speaker 1: So we got to make sure that the people that
11:46
those in those positions are accountable and if they get
11:50
out of line, they have to be held accountable in
11:54
a very transparent way so that the taxpayer can see
11:57
how their tax dollars are being spent and they're not
12:00
just being wasted while people like Jeffrey Epstein are being
12:03
killed while in the custody of the United States government.
12:10
Our article tonight is from the AP and the Headline.
12:16
Warden out after new allegations at embattled federal jail. This
12:21
article was authored by Michael R. Sissak, Jim Mustian, and
12:27
Michael Balsamo. The warden brought in to clean up the
12:32
federal jail where Jeffrey Epstein killed himself allegedly, has abruptly
12:38
stepped down after a year long tenure marred by the
12:41
rampant spread of the coronavirus, inmates complaints about squalid conditions,
12:47
a smuggled gun, and an inmate's death. So I'm willing
12:52
to give them a pass on the coronavirus situation, because
12:55
how are you supposed to control that, right?
12:57
Speaker 2: What are you supposed to do?
13:00
Speaker 1: Put everybody in a fish bowl with an oxygen tube
13:05
running into it and they can never.
13:06
Speaker 2: Take it off.
13:07
Speaker 1: So I can't really get too upset about the whole
13:13
COVID situation there now. The squalid conditions, on the other hand,
13:18
I guess that would depend what are considered squalid conditions.
13:23
You guys all know how I feel about this. I
13:26
feel like the conditions in the jail should be livable conditions, right.
13:32
It's bad enough that you know, we have to put
13:34
people in jail, you know, unfortunately a lot of people
13:38
have left society no choice. But at the same time,
13:43
I think that a facility where the everything's bad, you know,
13:52
the conditions are horrible, the.
13:56
Speaker 2: Guards are abusive.
13:58
Speaker 1: I don't think that does anyone any good, right, So
14:00
I think it should be a professional environment with a
14:03
set of rules, a set of guidelines that everybody has
14:05
to follow, all of the guards. You know, one federal
14:08
prison shouldn't have its own way of doing things compared
14:11
to another. Everything should have a unified code and everyone
14:15
should be held to a certain standard as far as guards,
14:19
and especially for these bureaucrats that get these jobs and
14:24
then when shit goes south like this, they just step down.
14:28
So there needs to be some sort of across the
14:32
board regulation where each one of these prisons has to
14:37
get on and get going with the same exact guidelines
14:41
as the next one. Now I'm talking about the federal prisons.
14:45
State prisons are a little bit different, right, each one's
14:47
going to have its own needs and.
14:48
Speaker 2: Blah blah blah.
14:49
Speaker 1: But with the federal prisons, they can make it uniformed
14:53
and make it very transparent so the people see exactly
14:56
what's going on, and then we can understand where the
14:59
money's being spent, how it's being spent, and all of
15:02
that jazz, because, folks, I'm not even messing around. We
15:05
pump a lot of money into keeping people incarcerated in
15:09
this country, and that definitely needs to be looked at.
15:14
There needs to be serious prison reform in this country,
15:17
no doubt about it. Marty lecon Vitally fifty four, quit
15:23
the Metropolitan Correctional Center this week. Her abrupt departure came
15:29
about a week after staff at the jail left an
15:32
inmate whose lawyer says he has the mental capacity of
15:35
an eight year old child in a holding cell for
15:38
twenty four hours while awaiting a competency evaluation, a violation
15:43
of prison system regulations.
15:46
Speaker 2: Well it should be a violation.
15:48
Speaker 1: I mean, this person has the capacity of an eight
15:50
year old child. Get him in there, let's get a
15:53
doctor to see him, and let's get it moving right.
15:55
I mean, again, just basic humanity is all I'm talking
15:59
about here. I'm not saying they should have an Xbox
16:02
in their cell. I'm not saying that they should be drinking,
16:04
you know, lattes and ordering pizzas of course, not. They
16:08
got to pay their debt to society. You know, you
16:11
play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. But that doesn't
16:15
mean that the conditions shouldn't be humane, right, The condition
16:19
should always be humane, and it should be a professional
16:23
atmosphere like any other job. These dudes who show up
16:27
there as guards or whatever, they shouldn't be showing up
16:30
with an axtra grind.
16:31
Speaker 2: Ever.
16:31
Speaker 1: They shouldn't look at these people as animals, none of it.
16:34
They should look at them as look, this is my job.
16:38
I'm here to do a job. Unfortunately, you screwed up.
16:40
You didn't follow the rules, so your job is to
16:44
stay in that cell. But a lot of times we
16:48
don't see that professionalism. And I think a lot of
16:51
that starts at the top. If that's not coming down
16:54
from your boss, If your boss is an absolute douche,
16:57
like a lot of these people obviously are, then that's
17:00
gonna trickle down right to the people underneath him, to
17:05
his supervisors, the managers, everybody. You know, they take their
17:08
lead from their boss. So I think a lot of
17:12
the accountability comes from these bureaucrats, and unfortunately we don't
17:17
see any of that. I mean, stepping down why should
17:21
this person step down? They should have been fired, never
17:24
mind stepping down. And in the last few weeks, a
17:33
correctional officer at the facility had also reported sexual misconduct
17:37
by a superior, which officials at the jail delayed reporting
17:41
to senior Bureau of Prisons officials, according to three people
17:45
familiar with the matter. And again, why let this person
17:50
Marty Lacone vitally the warden who supposedly stepped down. Why
17:55
let them save face by saying they step down? Why
17:58
not say, look, we fire them. They screwed up.
18:01
Speaker 2: They didn't do the right thing.
18:03
Speaker 1: Now we're holding them accountable. This is already the place
18:08
where Epstein was died, so I think it would behoove
18:13
everybody for some accountability here. And why it always makes
18:20
me shake my head when they let these people do
18:22
the whole Oh yeah, well I've decided to step down,
18:25
as if we don't know what that means. So if
18:27
they step down, they still get their pension. One last
18:30
at a boy on the back on the way out
18:32
of the old I want to be Elites Club. The
18:38
people could not discuss that matter publicly, and spoke to
18:41
the Associated Press on a condition of anonymity. The man
18:46
who was left in the holding cell, Richard Quinn, twenty six,
18:50
made friends with Mice during the agonizing weight. His attorney,
18:53
Peter Brill said, he said the top officials at the
18:57
jail had failed to report the violation to their superiors
19:00
at the Bureau of Prisons. Doesn't shock me one bit.
19:03
This is the same place where we had people falling asleep.
19:06
And what we think that was the first time when
19:08
those guards fell asleep while they're supposed to be watching
19:11
Jeffrey Epstein. That's the first time it's ever happened. Huh,
19:15
Just so happens the first time these people decide to
19:18
nap Epstein's clipped. Come on, It's something that happened there
19:24
all the time. And I'm sure it wasn't just them.
19:26
I'm sure it was something everybody was up to. And
19:29
I'm sure that their boss is even new and their
19:32
bosses probably just shook their head about it. Oh, you know,
19:35
that's just the way those guys do it. So, like
19:41
I said from the jump, I think that whoever the
19:44
bosses were who were on duty that night, supervisors, manager
19:49
on duty, all of them. If the guards got arrested
19:52
and they got fired. Then these people should all be
19:54
arrested and fired too. And don't even get me started
19:57
on the people who were in charge of the video.
20:00
The cameras are pointed out the wrong cell, they lost evidence.
20:04
Who's in charge of the chain of custody? How come
20:07
that person has never been held responsible. It's almost like
20:11
they don't care, or like they're bullshitting us. The Bureau
20:23
of Prisons would not directly address the allegations, but in
20:27
a statement, the agency said it was committed to ensuring
20:30
the safety and humane treatment of all inmates in our population,
20:34
our staff, and the public, adding that allegations of staff
20:38
misconduct are thoroughly investigated and appropriate action is taken if
20:44
such allegations are proven true, including the possibility of referral
20:48
for criminal prosecution when appropriate. So I guess it's never
20:52
appropriate unless you're just the two guards who fell asleep
20:55
that night.
20:56
Speaker 2: I guess that's the only time.
20:57
Speaker 1: It's appropriate, because it certainly should be a appropriate for
21:00
their bosses. And what about the people in charge of
21:04
this stuff over here? Right? This lady who is stepping down, she's.
21:11
Speaker 2: In charge of the whole shebang.
21:12
Speaker 1: She's the boss, she's the warden, she's the big cheese,
21:17
so when stuff goes south, she has to be the
21:20
one that's held responsible. And if that is not criminally possible, right,
21:27
she didn't do anything that's criminal, then she has to
21:30
be held responsible by losing her pension, a portion of repension, something.
21:35
But there needs to be repercussions for these people in
21:39
these high profile, very important jobs. You know, it's not
21:44
These people aren't just showing up and you know, going.
21:46
They can't just show up and be on.
21:50
Speaker 2: Autopilot.
21:52
Speaker 1: These are serious jobs that have serious repercussions throughout society.
21:57
So we need serious people in these positions, people that
22:00
are trustworthy. The agency said it's employees are required to
22:08
refrain from harassing conduct and that employees receive training to
22:12
detect and prevent inappropriate behavior not only with other staff
22:17
but also with inmates. All right, look, I don't know
22:21
how many times people have to tell people this, but
22:25
leave other people alone in the workplace, especially, what is
22:30
wrong with you these people that like go to work
22:35
and harass their coworkers. I just never understood.
22:40
Speaker 2: It, Like, are you that dense?
22:45
Speaker 1: And at the Bureau of Prisons times it by tenfold. Right,
22:51
if you're if these dudes working in the female Correctional Center.
22:57
I've heard some really disgusting, wild stories about what occurs
23:00
with some of these people. So again, we need to
23:06
make sure that the people that are being employed by
23:10
the Bureau of Prisons are good quality folks. And if
23:14
that means we've got to bump up the pay a
23:16
little bit, then so be it. Now, obviously there's always
23:19
going to be some weirdos, some psychos that fall through
23:21
the crack no matter what you do. So what you try,
23:25
and you know, do is weed out as many of
23:27
them as possible by having a good benefit package, good pay,
23:32
making sure that you know the people are taken care of.
23:36
But that's not what we see going on, right. I Mean,
23:40
I think the pay is decent, but you know, look,
23:44
there has to be incentives if you want people who
23:47
are going to do these jobs. And let's face it,
23:50
who wants to go and spend eight hours a day
23:53
working in a jail, right? You know, I can't see
23:57
myself doing that. There's probably zero chance for me to
24:00
ever want to do something like that. But if I did,
24:03
I'd want to be taken care of financially compensated correctly.
24:08
So maybe that's an option bump up the pay, and
24:11
perhaps that brings in more quality people who are less
24:15
inclined to act the fool. In a statement, the Bureau
24:25
of Prison said Lincoln Vitally has announced her retirement and
24:29
an interim warden has been assigned until a new warden
24:32
is appointed. The interim leader is listed in court papers
24:35
as Eric Williams. He will be the fourth warden at
24:38
the New York City Lockup in eighteen months, and the
24:42
third person put in charge since a shakeup following Epstein's
24:45
August twenty nineteen death. Imagine that.
24:49
Speaker 2: Think of that.
24:50
Speaker 1: Eighteen months, four people, four people in eighteen months. Not
24:58
a great track record, not a great track record of
25:02
people in this very important leadership role. And I wonder why,
25:10
why is it that they can't find somebody who is
25:14
of quality character, somebody who is respected enough to come
25:19
in here and and clean this up. I'll tell you why,
25:21
Because it's systemic. It comes from all the way from
25:24
the top. This this chicken, this fish stinks from the head,
25:28
all the way up from the Department of Justice, rotting
25:31
all the way down into the Bureau of Prisons, and
25:35
all the way down into the lower chambers of that organization.
25:42
These people, I'll tell you they they really, they're really
25:49
just abhorrent at what at what they do.
25:54
Speaker 2: The whole entire Department of Justice.
25:56
Speaker 1: Is just mind bogglingly bad, in my opinion. Messages seeking
26:04
comment were sent to Lincoln Vitally. Lincoln Vitally, the former
26:08
head of the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, was appointed
26:12
warden of the Metropolitan Correctional Center, which had been billed
26:15
as one of the most secure jails in America, in
26:18
January of twenty twenty. She took over from an interim
26:22
warden who replaced Lemene Nadai, the warden in charge at
26:27
the time of Epstein's suicide, allegedly who was transferred to
26:31
another job in the agency.
26:33
Speaker 2: And imagine that.
26:34
Speaker 1: Imagine you were at your job, right you're this warden
26:37
and Epstein dies on your watch, and you just get
26:41
transferred to a different joint.
26:43
Speaker 2: You don't get fired.
26:46
Speaker 1: I know a lot of you out there have management jobs,
26:48
and you're just shaking your head right now. Because of
26:50
the accountability factor. In the private sector, there is all
26:54
sorts of accountability. If you're a supervisor or above, you
26:58
better believe that you're going to be accountable for shit.
27:01
Speaker 2: You've never done.
27:04
Speaker 1: Stuff you're not even responsible for. But if your employees
27:07
do it, well, you're now responsible for it via proxy.
27:11
You're the boss, right, take some responsibility for the project,
27:16
but not here, you just get transferred on out.
27:19
Speaker 2: What is this? The Catholic Church.
27:24
Speaker 1: Epstein's death, a month after his arrest on child sex
27:27
trafficking charges, has been a lingering shadow over the six
27:30
hundred inmate facility in Lower Manhattan. The Justice Department's Inspector
27:36
General has yet to complete an investigation into lapses that
27:39
allowed the disgraced financier pedophile to end his life. Two
27:44
correctional officers responsible for monitoring him that night are awaiting
27:49
trial on charges they lied on prison records because they
27:53
were sleeping and browsing the Internet instead of doing their jobs.
27:59
So again, the prison guards, they're gonna be the scapegoats. Huh.
28:02
The warden gets transferred, but the prison guards they're facing
28:07
felonies right now. Now. Don't get me wrong, I'm not
28:11
trying to take up for the guards here. They deserve
28:14
to be punished as well. But should they be the
28:18
only ones that are punished? Why is it always the
28:20
low man on the totem pole. Why is it always
28:23
the low person on the totem pole, This ridiculous nonsense
28:31
where the bosses, the superiors don't take any responsibility. You know,
28:37
at the federal level. It has to end, It really
28:40
has to end. Lincoln Vital faced an immense challenge and
28:49
trying to turn the facility around, hampered by issues such
28:53
as the coronavirus pandemic and contraband smuggling, as well as
28:57
staffing shortages and dwindlings flies early in the pandemic. Now again,
29:03
I can't blame her for that. The pandemic stuff is,
29:07
you know, nobody knows really what to do with this shit.
29:09
It's wild, right, Nobody knows how to react, what to do.
29:12
There's no playbook. You can't go onto the you know,
29:15
the company website and type in what do I do
29:17
when there's a coronavirus pandemic? You know, everyone was playing
29:22
it by ear, going by the skin of their teeth.
29:24
Speaker 2: Nobody knew what the deal was.
29:25
Speaker 1: So you can't really hold that against her. But when
29:28
it comes to staffing shortages, Hell yeah, I'm holding that
29:31
against her. At the very least, did she put in
29:35
for more staff and was she turned down, and if
29:37
she was, who turned her down, the person who said
29:40
no should be accountable. See where I'm going with this,
29:43
The accountability stuff, you know, the stuff that you and
29:45
I learned in kindergarten. Seems that these people, well, they
29:50
don't even they can't even spell it. In March, just
29:55
before the pandemic, prompted federal prisons to halt visitation the
29:59
jail on a week long lockdown after officials got a
30:02
tip that a gun may have been smuggled inside. Investigators
30:06
found a handgun and turned up other banned items such
30:10
as cell phones, narcotics, and homemade weapons, sparking an ongoing
30:15
criminal probe into guard misconduct.
30:18
Speaker 2: And again, that's great.
30:20
Speaker 1: If you're one of these guards that's smuggling shit in
30:23
there like this is orange is the new black, and
30:26
you're hanging out over at Litchfield, well, you should be
30:29
penalized to the fullest extent of the law. You should
30:32
be stripped of whatever kind of badge that the correctional
30:35
officers have, and you should trade your police uniform for
30:40
a federal jumpsuit.
30:43
Speaker 2: Accountability.
30:47
Speaker 1: After the gun was discovered, then Attorney General William Darth
30:51
Barr also launched a Justice Department task Force to address
30:55
criminal misconduct by officers at several correctional facility. Boy Darth
31:01
Barr really loved to launch investigations. Huh, I wonder why
31:05
you never launched an investigation into Minuchin should probably launch
31:09
an investigation into himself while we're at it. As the
31:13
coronavirus took hold, Metropolitan Correctional Center, employees weren't able to
31:18
get masks, while staff restrooms ran out of soap, workers
31:22
in charge of refilling the dispensers were pressed into duty
31:25
as correctional officers. Because of staffing shortages early in the crisis,
31:31
more than twenty five percent of staff positions were vacant.
31:35
I mean, what, how's that even possible? This is the
31:39
United States federal government, folks. They don't have an on callboard.
31:44
You need to tell me, y'all ain't got no on callboard.
31:47
So that's something you could fix right away. Sure, there's
31:50
plenty of people that could use an on call gig.
31:53
A few five shifts a month for some people put
31:55
them right over the edge. So we don't have an
31:59
on callboard, why are you down twenty five percent of staff?
32:03
As a manager, your job is to make sure that
32:05
shit is staffed, and if that means you have to
32:08
have some sort of budget fight with whoever you have
32:10
to have it with, then so be it. But rather
32:15
twenty five percent of staff positions were vacant. It's the
32:18
federal government paying the dime. They have no problem paying
32:22
for people to be in prison, they should be able
32:24
to pay for the people watching them. In May, a
32:29
court author in May, a court authorized inspection found that
32:33
inmates with coronavirus symptoms were neglected and ignored, and social
32:37
distancing was almost nonexistent, with some inmates sleeping on bunks
32:41
within arm's reach of each other. And this is why
32:45
it's so important that Maxwell is in solitary confinement, that
32:49
she's in the shoe, because none of that shit's happening.
32:51
She's by herself in there, living her fantastic life, the
32:56
Boloney Sandwich life. In a deposition, Lick and Vitally said
33:04
isolating ill inmates in the jail special housing a unit
33:08
took priority, even as she agreed that conditions in that
33:11
part of the jail were worse than in regular cells.
33:15
Lawyers can plain that sick inmates were being made to
33:17
lie on concrete beds and weren't given sheets, blankets, or pillows.
33:23
It's ridiculous. That kind of shit is ridiculous.
33:26
Speaker 2: Like I've said one hundred million times, humane behavior and
33:29
humane treatment.
33:31
Speaker 1: Is a staple right. As much as it feels good
33:35
to see some scumbag murderer maybe be treated like crap,
33:41
the idea is not to be part of that right,
33:44
not to drop to that level. So humane treatment in
33:48
these jails is a must in my opinion. And with
33:51
all of the tax dollars being sent on I spent
33:54
on this shit, you would think.
33:55
Speaker 2: That at the very least they would have it.
33:59
Speaker 1: Humane complaints about conditions haven't abated. Defense lawyer Sabrina Schroff
34:09
wrote to a judge last week about a client being
34:11
kept in barbaric and inhumane conditions in solitary confinement at
34:16
the jail. Shroffs at her client, former CIA software engineer
34:21
Joshua Shoulti, who was made to live in a cell
34:24
of the size of a parking space that is infested
34:27
with rodents, rodent dropping cockroaches, and mold and lacks heating,
34:33
air conditioning, or functioning plumbing as he awaits trial on
34:36
charges he leaked government secrets to WikiLeaks. So because he
34:44
might have allegedly leaked some secrets to WikiLeaks, he should
34:50
live in those conditions rodent droppings, cockroaches.
34:54
Speaker 2: And mold. I don't get it.
34:56
Speaker 1: I don't know how anyone could say, yeah, that's cool,
34:59
no big deal.
35:03
Speaker 2: It needs to be fixed. It needs to be fixed.
35:09
Speaker 1: As of Thursday, there was just one inmate in thirteen
35:11
employees sick with the virus at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
35:15
According to the Bureau of Prisons. No deaths have been
35:18
reported at the jail as a result of the disease. Well,
35:22
I don't know how bad could have been in there. Again,
35:24
we got to remember that there's always two sides of
35:26
the story, right there's the side of the Bureau of Prisons,
35:31
and then there's the side of the story from the lawyers.
35:34
And the lawyers are always going to want to paint
35:36
a picture that their clients are being absolutely mistreated, without
35:40
a doubt mistreated, and the government is going to want
35:44
to paint the opposite picture. So remember, we always got
35:48
to meet somewhere in the middle with this stuff and
35:51
know that both sides are spinning a narrative. The death
35:56
of inmate Tony mcclam in September was not really related
36:00
to the coronavirus, the Bureau of Prisons said, though what
36:03
happened to him remains unexplained. Mcclam, who was facing drug charges,
36:09
was found unresponsive just two days after arriving at the
36:12
facility and could not be saved, the Bureau said.
36:15
Speaker 2: A lawyer for.
36:16
Speaker 1: His family said they were still awaiting the results of
36:18
his autopsy, but that he had complained of medical issues
36:22
and didn't receive the appropriate medical attention before his death. Look,
36:29
I don't know anything about that story, so I'm not
36:31
even going to comment on it, but I know that
36:34
if it was one of my loved ones or someone
36:36
I cared about in one of these prisons, I'd want
36:39
professionals taking care of them, people that are there to
36:43
do a job, not to have an axe to grind, not.
36:48
Speaker 2: Browse around on the internet, and certainly.
36:54
Speaker 1: Not to let them live in a place with rodents
36:57
and rats and all of that.
36:58
Speaker 2: Jazz.
37:02
Speaker 1: I think that if we let ourselves start doing stuff
37:06
like that, then as a society as a whole, we're
37:09
just screwed in general. But when it comes to this
37:14
facility that Epstein was in, let's remember as bad as
37:17
it is, folks, It's not like there has been a
37:21
bunch of deaths here, a bunch of suicides, any of
37:23
that stuff. So let's not let them run a narrative like, oh, well,
37:31
Jeffrey Epstein dying here, Well, that was just to be
37:33
expected because it wasn't. Okay, a very rare occurrence, and
37:40
the Bureau of Prisons, the Department of Justice, and everybody
37:44
who was involved, as far as bosses on down, all
37:49
of them need to be held responsible. If you'd like
37:54
to contact me, you can do that at Bobbycapucci at
37:57
ProtonMail dot com. That's beh by cap you Cci at
38:03
ProtonMail dot com. You can also find me on Twitter
38:07
at Bobby Underscore cap you Cci. All of the links
38:13
that go at this episode can be found in the
38:16
description box. And remember, folks, tomorrow seven pm Pacific Standard time,
38:23
we'll be doing the live stream once again, so you'll
38:27
also be able to find that link in the description box.
38:31
All right, folks, I will see you tomorrow and we
38:35
will talk some more during the live stream. I hope
38:38
you all have a fantastic night, and if you're out,
38:41
please do not drink and drive. Talking about the ongoing
38:45
Gilain Maxwell saga as she tries and maneuvers herself into
38:51
a position where she has the narrative set that she
38:56
is being so mistreated in jail, that she is being
38:59
treated so poorly in jail, and with the COVID outbreak
39:04
on top of that, how can't you give her bail? Well,
39:10
we know that the prosecutors sent a left a letter
39:13
to the court and explained the treatment of Gilaine Maxwell
39:18
and pretty much slapped down the assertions made by.
39:22
Speaker 2: Her and her legal team. Well, of course.
39:27
Speaker 1: That wasn't going to be where it ends. Gilaine Maxwell
39:31
and her legal team have filed a brief now with
39:34
the court and they're disputing what the federal government is saying.
39:41
They're disputing what the Bureau of Prisons is saying. And
39:47
of course we knew this was coming. Right again, Gilaine
39:51
Maxwell and her legal team, they're not going to just
39:54
sit on their hands. They're not just going to take
39:57
it laying down and say, sure, put me in prison
40:00
for the rest of my life. They're going to use
40:04
whatever is necessary to try and get this vile.
40:11
Speaker 2: Woman this new bail hearing and then get her out
40:15
of jail while she awaits trial.
40:17
Speaker 1: That is their goal, and they will use whatever loophole,
40:21
whatever technicality, whatever they possibly can to try and achieve
40:25
this goal. Now, so far, the judge has not really
40:32
been too receptive to Glayne Maxwell and her strategies.
40:41
Speaker 2: Their legal team. Gilainne Maxwell's legal team.
40:43
Speaker 1: Has taken loss after loss in multiple courtrooms as they
40:50
try and navigate their way through this very dangerous obstacle
40:55
course that is Glayne Maxwell and the truth.
41:01
Speaker 2: See, it's difficult to defend.
41:03
Speaker 1: A client when you know that that client is not innocent,
41:08
and you see that whole entire strategy form before your
41:11
eyes as they continue to try and find those technicalities. Right,
41:17
this is never going to be a case where her
41:20
lawyers are like, oh, yeah, she's innocent, she didn't do
41:23
any of this stuff. That's not what they're looking for.
41:26
They're looking for some sort of technicality, some sort of loophole,
41:29
some sort of narrative that they can run with like
41:33
this one. Oh, the judge, she's being treated so badly,
41:37
she's not getting treated like the rest of the inmates,
41:39
and she's getting a flashlight shined in her face every
41:42
five minutes. And they try and build that narrative and
41:46
they wrap it up with the COVID pandemic, and then
41:51
that becomes their they're talking point right, Oh, she should
41:59
be let out. Her conditions are terrible in jail as
42:02
it is, and then you add this COVID on top
42:04
of it, you have to let her out. And that
42:09
is the position that her legal team has right now,
42:13
and they're going to do everything that they can to
42:16
try and push that narrative and to get Judge Nathan
42:20
to sign off on it. So they fired off their
42:25
brief in response to the brief that was sent over
42:29
by the prosecutors, and that is what we're going to
42:32
talk about this morning. So this article is from the
42:36
New York Post headline Elaine Maxwell losing her hair from
42:41
honorous imprisonment.
42:42
Speaker 2: Lawyers say.
42:44
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Rebecca Rosenberg. So the jail
42:51
conditions are what's causing her to lose her hair? Huh hm,
42:55
I doubt it. Maybe the stress brought on by being
42:58
in jail can make you loose of your hair. But
43:01
just being in jail, all of a sudden you go bald.
43:04
All of a sudden, you lose those locks, and now
43:07
you're rocking a telesavalis balded head.
43:11
Speaker 2: What does that.
43:12
Speaker 1: Even mean the conditions in jail are making her loser hair?
43:17
How about the fact that she's stressing constantly about never
43:21
seeing the light of day again, that's making her lose
43:24
her hair?
43:24
Speaker 2: Probably?
43:25
Speaker 1: I mean, look, I don't work at the Bosly Hair
43:27
club for men or anything like that, but you know,
43:31
conditions in jail are so tough for Elaine Maxwell, the
43:35
accused pedophile, procureur, co conspirator, fellow scumbag, general all around
43:42
scumbag and bipedal serpent, is losing her hair and is
43:47
wasting away to skin and bone. Her lawyer's complained in
43:50
a new court filing. And now remember this comes on
43:54
the tail end of the prosecutors sending their brief over
43:59
and eyeing all of this already, because these assertions were
44:04
made by her legal team previously. Remember, and they've been
44:07
talking about how bad her conditions are in jail, how
44:11
terrible things are for Gilay and Maxwell and jail for
44:15
pretty much the whole entire duration of her stay so far,
44:19
and certainly since Bobby Sternheim has joined the team. That
44:24
has been one of the constant talking points for Bobby
44:29
Sternheim since she's joined Elaine Maxwell's legal team, and she
44:33
has been laser focused on trying to leverage some of
44:38
these technicalities into a get out of jail free card
44:42
for Gilay and Maxwell. While her weight may currently be
44:47
fairly consistent, she had lost over fifteen pounds and she
44:51
has sustaining hair loss, wrote attorney Bobby Sternheim in the
44:55
letter to US District Judge Alison Nathan, who is overseeing
44:59
Maxwell's sex tra case. Again, stress can cause all of that, right, Anxiety, stress,
45:06
lose weight, stop eating, withdraw all of that stuff can occur.
45:12
Speaker 2: And is she under a lot of stress? Hell yeah?
45:15
Is she experiencing a ton of anxiety? Probably?
45:19
Speaker 1: So. Again, I don't think it's the actual prison stay
45:25
that is causing her to have any sort of issue,
45:28
lose some hair maybe, or lose a couple of pounds.
45:32
Pretty sure that has to do with the stress of
45:35
being in prison. The filing was in response to a
45:40
letter the Federal Bureau of Prison sent the judge insisting
45:45
that Maxwell is well cared for and has maintained a
45:49
healthy one hundred and thirty four pounds weight while at
45:52
the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Now we know that,
46:00
according to Elaine Maxwell's legal team. She's saying that Elaine
46:06
lost fifteen pounds, but according to the brief filed by
46:11
the Department of Prisons, they said she was fluctuating between
46:15
a couple of pounds, give or take. So, like usual,
46:20
there's three sides to the story, her side, the government's side,
46:26
and then the truth. Because the government smart me too.
46:30
Folks believe it right, So I take everything they say
46:33
to me with a grain of salt as well. But
46:36
it's obvious what Glaine Maxwell is up to here. She's
46:40
definitely trying to leverage this. Her lawyers are trying to
46:44
leverage this, and they're going to use any tool that
46:51
they find in their toolbox that they think can get
46:54
the job done, even if it's not the proper tool. Right,
46:58
sometimes you gotta use the back end of the measuring
47:01
tape to hammer in the nail, and that's what these
47:06
people are doing right now. They're scrambling looking for any avenue,
47:10
any foothold that they can dig their feet into and
47:15
build a proper strategy to try and get her off
47:18
the hook. Because again, they'll never ever, ever, ever, ever
47:21
be able to win in a trial. In my opinion,
47:26
a jury of her peers is going to hear the
47:31
evidence laid out before her, and it is going to
47:35
be a real rough go for her lawyers to try
47:39
and get this lady off the hook, especially considering just
47:45
the circumstantial evidence that's available to us. And imagine if
47:50
they go and get all of these girls, the ones
47:53
from Palm Beach, all the little high school girls, all
47:57
the girls that were abused after and they come in
48:00
and they testify against Gilain Maxwell, one after one, and
48:07
you just have a line and a line, a line
48:09
of girls that are testifying against Gilaine Maxwell. How was
48:13
her defense team supposed to counteract that? Well, my client
48:19
says she didn't do it. So that's the end of that.
48:21
Wrap this trial up. She's looking at big time trouble.
48:28
And if they really go after this case the way
48:31
they should, and they continue to prosecute this case in
48:35
a aggressive manner, then the only hope Gilay Maxwell has,
48:41
in my opinion, is one of these technicalities or one
48:44
of these loopholes. Maxwell's lawyers have frequently complained about the
48:50
terrible terms of her confinement, including frequent strip searches, being
48:55
awoke in every fifteen minutes by a flashlight at night
48:58
to ensure she's still alive and countless meals consisting of
49:02
no more than bread and butter. Oh, I don't buy that.
49:07
I certainly don't buy that. Just bread and butter. What
49:11
is this nineteen fifty six at Levenworth. Give me a break?
49:15
Bread and butter. Maybe that's all she's chosen to eat
49:21
off of her fantastic spread of bologney corn eighteen day
49:27
old corn bread and then some bread and butter. Maybe
49:32
she chose just to eat the bread and butter. But
49:34
I'm sure she was provided with a full meal like
49:38
every other in made three hots and a cot. That's
49:40
the deal when you go and have a stay courtesy
49:46
of the federal government. Sternheim wrote that while her meal
49:51
plan may be in compliance with the BOP policy now,
49:55
it was not for the first six weeks of her incarceration.
49:59
Oh I'm sure sure, I'm sure that she was just
50:01
being starved. They weren't giving her any food whatsoever. They
50:05
were like, Starvelane, you're not having any food, bra That's
50:12
what they would have you believe that the prison guards
50:17
would come by and it was like Shawshank redemption. They'd
50:20
beat her, they'd pull her out of the cell, they'd
50:22
strip search her in a violent manner, and then once
50:26
she starts calming down and she starts falling asleep, they
50:30
point a flashlight in her eyes. Give me a break. Okay,
50:37
she gets a flashlight pointed in her cell like every
50:40
other convict. That's what it's called when they're you know,
50:45
doing the rounds. She has been kept in isolation and
50:52
been denied access to education and leisure programs, movies, religious services,
50:58
and other opportunities. The letter states, Wait a minute, all
51:03
of a sudden, she's religious. She's found God. Now she's
51:06
gonna go and uh do some hallelujah, do a little
51:10
bit of a hallelujah. And as far as education, the
51:18
Oxford educated Gilayne Maxwell is gonna take a few community
51:23
college courses while she's in the houscalhauh. All right, Okay,
51:28
I guess maybe if there's a a course on morality,
51:33
maybe she should take that, because she obviously skipped that
51:36
course at Oxford. And leisure programs, what does that even mean?
51:43
What is she gonna be out on the yard with
51:44
the other girls making friendship bracelets.
51:50
Speaker 2: Her lawyers really.
51:51
Speaker 1: Think you're stupid. They really think you're dumb, and they
51:54
think you're going to believe this nonsensical narrative that they're
51:57
trying to pitch.
52:00
Speaker 2: They're wrong.
52:02
Speaker 1: Leisure time Huh, leisure time is for people who didn't
52:06
abuse children, Gilane. It's obvious that Miss Maxwell is bearing
52:13
the brunt of bop in competence, Sternheim wrote. Now she's
52:18
bearing the brunt of her own incompetence, her own disgusting deeds,
52:23
and her own vile way of life. The Department of
52:29
Corrections and the prison of the Bureau of Prisons. Well,
52:34
that's just part of your new journey, Gilaine. Get used
52:39
to it. Okay, get very, very very used to it.
52:45
Because while the Department of Prisons the Bureau of Prisons
52:50
might be incompetent, if anyone has ever deserved to be
52:56
in custody, it most certainly is this bipedal serpent. In
53:02
my opinion, she said. She said, the MDC has imposed
53:09
extraordinarily onerous conditions of constraint on Miss Maxwell to avoid
53:14
the catastrophic consequences of negligence occurring at the MCC that
53:20
resulted in the death of Jeffrey Epstein. Well, shouldn't you.
53:23
Speaker 2: Be happy about that?
53:25
Speaker 1: If you're the lawyer, what you want her to get killed?
53:28
Does that benefit you or something, Miss Sternheim, She kills
53:31
herself or something happens to her, what then no more
53:35
gaudy checks rolling in for you. So what is it
53:38
that you propose? Do you propose that she leaves isolation
53:42
and she's put on the main line. Do you propose
53:45
that she is given a whole wing of the jail
53:51
to come and go as she pleases. What is it
53:53
exactly that you propose?
53:55
Speaker 2: Oh, we know.
53:57
Speaker 1: Has nothing to do with any of this, all about
54:00
trying to get her out. That is what you're setting up,
54:04
Miss Sternheim. It is so transparent what these people are
54:10
up to. Maxwell's alleged co conspirator, fellow child abuser, general
54:17
all around scusbag and bipedal serpent as well. Jeffrey Epstein
54:22
hanged himself at the BOP's Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan
54:26
last year while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Uh
54:33
hanged himself? Uh, you mean allegedly hanged himself. I'm sure
54:38
him and Nicholas TARTAGLIONI were discussing, you know, chicken colored
54:42
parmesan recipes and how Jeffrey Epstein could you know, make
54:47
a proper Sunday sauce. Sternheim demanded that the warden be
54:54
called before the court to debrief the judge directly on
54:57
the conditions.
54:58
Speaker 2: Well, look, to.
54:59
Speaker 1: Be honest with I don't think it's a bad idea
55:01
if if the warden gets called before a judge at
55:05
some point anyway for this facility, to make sure the
55:08
whole facility is being managed correctly, not about what Gilaine
55:17
Maxwell's up to. You really think the warden has time
55:20
for that? As if there isn't you know x amount
55:22
of other prisoners that have to be uh facilitated and
55:27
maintained and watched over. So the warden should come down
55:30
and have a chat about Gilaine Maxwell. What makes her
55:33
so ef and special? The back and forth over Maxwell's
55:39
confinement comes as her her attorneys have renewed her bid
55:43
for Bell. That right there tells you everything you need
55:45
to know. That one little portion.
55:47
Speaker 2: Of this article.
55:51
Speaker 1: It cut. The back and forth over Maxwell's confinement comes
55:55
as her attorneys have renewed her bid for Bell. That's
56:00
what this is all about, folks, That's all about. That's
56:04
all that this is about. They know that Maxwell's being
56:07
treated like anybody else would be treated in there. They
56:10
know that, but they're gonna try and spin it. They're
56:13
gonna try and dress up the facts, and they're going
56:15
to try and sell it to you as if she
56:17
is being treated like she is in a Soviet gulag.
56:25
After her arrest in July on charges she recruited girls
56:28
and women to be sexually abused by her and Epstein,
56:31
Nathan denied her bid for release on a five million
56:34
dollar bond. Five million dollars. That was a week proposal anyway.
56:38
By the way, how are you gonna come with a
56:41
week ass, sorry ass, five million dollar proposal for Bell
56:45
when Epstein was talking about a hundred million Because I'll
56:52
tell you, in my opinion, Gilean Maxwell was just as
56:55
bad as Jeffrey Epstein. She was in some shrinking violet.
57:00
She wasn't somebody who was just getting orders and yes
57:04
doing a yes man routine. She was hatching these plots.
57:10
She was making sure that they went into motion. And
57:13
the lieutenants below her, the Core four, well, they were
57:18
there to make sure that Gilaine and Jeffrey's orders were
57:22
followed to a t. In a November twenty fifth letter
57:29
to the judge, unsealed Monday, Maxwell's lawyer Mark Cohen asked
57:34
that the bell application be filed under seal to protect
57:38
her friends and family who plan to co sign the bond.
57:41
Zero chance that's occurring. This will all be a public spectacle.
57:46
This is something that the public has an interest in.
57:50
And the days of hiding in the shadows for these
57:52
people are over. If you're going to sign the bond
57:58
to try and get Gilain Maxwell out, you're going to
58:00
co sign her, then that's probably going to come with
58:02
some scrutiny from the media. Right. You would think, now,
58:06
should anybody be giving anyone's sending death threats to anybody
58:10
or threatening anybody, Hell no, hell no, that's lunatic behavior.
58:19
Speaker 2: But as far as.
58:22
Speaker 1: Talking about people who co sign these bonds or people
58:26
that are involved in trying to spring her, hell yeah,
58:28
that's going to be discussed. It's an important part of
58:31
the story. It adds context, right. All of the people
58:34
that are around her, all of the people that are
58:36
working with her and for her to try and get
58:39
her out, they're all parts of this story. And the
58:42
second that you put your name down on a legal
58:44
document like this, you inject yourself into that story. And
58:50
people are going to have some questions. They are legitimately
58:56
afraid that if their identities become public, they will be
58:59
subjected to the same relentless media scrutiny and threats that
59:03
Miss Maxwell has experienced. Cohen wrote, again, anybody out there
59:07
threatening anybody else is an absolute moron. The idea is
59:16
to air these people out and put pressure on prosecution
59:21
to bring them to justice. And furthermore, have people around
59:30
Maxwell receive some shitty emails. Probably, yeah, probably, that's just
59:35
the nature of the beast, right. But unfortunately for them,
59:42
they're defending a very vile person, and there's gonna be
59:47
a lot of people with a lot of questions. So
59:51
while I'll never condone any sort of abusive, bullying behavior
59:56
or threatening people, that's a bunch of bullshit. I do
1:00:00
support hard questions. And guess what, those hard questions don't
1:00:04
have to be framed nicely. These people, for way too
1:00:10
long have gone off with softball questions, if questions were
1:00:16
even ever asked, And now things get ramped up a
1:00:20
little bit and some hard questions come in from a
1:00:22
few different different areas, different people, and all of a sudden,
1:00:28
it's oh, we're being harassed. Oh we're being threatened. I
1:00:33
don't buy it. Just more fodder for the narrative, more
1:00:37
fodder for their narrative, and it goes to help bolster
1:00:45
their argument that Gilay and Maxwell should be out of
1:00:48
jail waiting for Bell, at least in their mind. The
1:00:53
filing included examples of several death threats against Maxwell posted
1:00:57
to social media. The judge has agreed to dack the
1:01:00
names of friends and family in court papers, but not
1:01:03
to seal the entire filing. So I'm pretty sure anybody
1:01:10
who has ever had any sort of publicity has received
1:01:17
death threats on social media. Have you folks taken a
1:01:20
look at Twitter lately and the unhinged behavior you see
1:01:23
on there on a regular basis, So I'm sure there's
1:01:29
been some wild ass people posting some wild ass shit
1:01:32
on social media, but they'll blow that up into like
1:01:37
there's a faction of ninja assassins on the trail looking
1:01:41
to get Gilaane Maxwell and or family when that's not
1:01:46
the case. People have questions. Some of those questions are hard,
1:01:52
and some of those questions might be gruff. But guess what,
1:01:59
Gilaine Maxwell has herself to blame for all of this.
1:02:02
She created this for herself. She chose to cavort with
1:02:06
Jeffrey Epstein, she chose to be involved in this criminal conspiracy,
1:02:10
and she chose to help abuse these children and girls.
1:02:16
So if you're going to co sign for somebody like
1:02:18
this and you're gonna come out swinging in her defense,
1:02:23
don't think that you're not going to be met in
1:02:26
the center of the octagon and challenged. Because this lady
1:02:36
right here is as vile as they come. I don't
1:02:42
see one single reason why she should be out on
1:02:45
bail while she awaits her trial. And all of the
1:02:49
stuff that her legal team has brought before us, all
1:02:53
of the assertions that they have made, they have provided
1:02:57
no evidence of any of this. These are all just
1:02:59
assertions and as far as I can tell, a bunch
1:03:03
of hyperboleef from her legal team. So hopefully Judge Nathan
1:03:09
recognizes all of this for what it is. She seems
1:03:11
to be doing that. And I can understand the redacting
1:03:16
of some of the names. I get that right, Eventually
1:03:19
it's all going to come out. But I understand some
1:03:22
of the redacting of the names. If there's some maniacs
1:03:24
contacting these people, I get it. But at the end
1:03:27
of the day, it's not going to stay private forever
1:03:30
or for long. It's going to come out. Who is
1:03:33
defending Guley Maxwell, who is putting up.
1:03:36
Speaker 2: Dough for her to get out of jail.
1:03:37
Speaker 1: All of that stuff's going to come out. And we
1:03:43
know that she still has friends, we know that she
1:03:46
still has some connections. I've said it from the jump though,
1:03:49
that she has been burned as an asset. She no
1:03:52
longer is afforded the protections that she had while she
1:03:57
was being run as an asset with Epstein. Protections are
1:04:00
long gone. But she still does enjoy some of the
1:04:03
contact she once had, and she might have that dirt
1:04:09
on some of these people as well, and you would
1:04:11
think she does, right, So that puts her still in
1:04:14
a pretty decent position to try and perhaps twist an
1:04:19
armor to to get some help here. But as far
1:04:22
as having the backing and protection of the intelligence community,
1:04:29
that's done. She's burned as an asset, just like Epstein,
1:04:32
and now they're left to float on their own. And
1:04:34
all those ties that they had to intelligence, be it
1:04:39
you know, Massad, the United the CIA, Russian intelligence, whatever
1:04:45
it may be, all of those ties, all of that
1:04:49
evidence that ties them together has been burned, just like
1:04:53
their assets Epstein and Maxwell. Because that's how the intelligence
1:04:58
community works. You're never going to be able to put
1:05:01
together a puzzle and have it show the intelligence communities
1:05:05
fingers in this. That's going to only be done by
1:05:09
hard charging forensic accounting work. My question is when in
1:05:19
the hell are we going to start seeing that. If
