• 0:13
[SPEAKER_01]: One of the biggest things we did this year at many-sided media was add a bunch of spectacular new shows to the many-sided network and so I am giving you the gift.
• 0:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Of your next favorite TTRPG podcast, you are so very welcome.
• 0:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me introduce you to 5 GMs in a trench coat.
• 0:31
[SPEAKER_01]: 5 GMs in a trench coat is an award-winning narrative-driven actual play podcast where five friends take turns weaving stories through a new tabletop game of their choice.
• 0:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: Each season.
• 0:42
[SPEAKER_01]: This is episode one of their latest series called From Inside The Tent, which uses kids on bikes, second edition.
• 0:49
[SPEAKER_01]: With the vibes of stranger things, gravity falls, and nope, we meet childhood friends, Amanda Tatcibana, Ezekiel Baldwin, and Havier O'Reilly as they go to their very first summer camp at Hidden Falls, Regional Park, in 1983.
• 1:07
[SPEAKER_01]: And as you might imagine, things quickly take a turn for the weird.
• 1:14
[SPEAKER_01]: And with that, enjoy the show.
• 1:30
[SPEAKER_13]: This season of 5 GM's in a trench coat deals with themes of loneliness, loss, the paranormal, growing older, confrontation, parental pressures, reconciliation, teenage genannigans, illusions to being people of color in the 80s and hope.
• 1:45
  [SPEAKER_13]: Listener discussion is advised.
• 2:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Gather round and listen in as five friends take turns weaving stories through the tabletop game of their choice.
• 2:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: This is 5 GM's in a trench coat.
• 2:23
[SPEAKER_10]: Hello everybody and welcome to 5 GM Season 5 run by yours truly Adam Gonzalez and this is
• 2:36
[SPEAKER_10]: The dry summer air plucks at the back of your throat as you breathe it in.
• 2:39
[SPEAKER_10]: Your skin tingles as bloodthirsty or perhaps just persistently pesky bugs buzz around your ankles, leaving you with the knowledge of unbearable itchiness in your future.
• 2:48
[SPEAKER_10]: Jessie, can you please describe the scene we see as you pile into the back of a densely pack 1977 convertible VW Bug.
• 2:57
[SPEAKER_07]: You see this kid, he's kind of, you know, he has big round eyes with light brown eyes.
• 3:03
  [SPEAKER_07]: He's looking around.
• 3:04
[SPEAKER_07]: He's kind of new here.
• 3:05
[SPEAKER_07]: He doesn't really know people that well.
• 3:07
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you've been here for what?
• 3:08
[SPEAKER_10]: I think at this point maybe six months.
• 3:10
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 3:10
[SPEAKER_10]: It was the tail end of the school year probably.
• 3:12
[SPEAKER_10]: So maybe maybe even three months.
• 3:13
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 3:14
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 3:14
[SPEAKER_10]: Summer just started maybe not more than the week or two weeks ago.
• 3:18
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, he's got kind of wild curly hair.
• 3:21
[SPEAKER_07]: He's kind of all over the place and he just has his back pack and he's holding on to it And he just kind of quietly goes and sits down at one of the chairs and buckles in all right Yeah, so you kind of piled in so I don't know how much everyone here knows about VW bug there's small and compact vehicles
• 3:37
[SPEAKER_10]: And maybe it's a car that you're certain your dad might like a little more than you kind of thing where it's like he takes really good care of this thing.
• 3:43
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's a convertible.
• 3:44
[SPEAKER_10]: He got it relatively recently, even though so 1977 came out about five or six years ago now.
• 3:49
[SPEAKER_10]: And it does not fit all the stuff your dad seemed to have made you pack.
• 3:53
[SPEAKER_10]: You're just going away for a month and it's not even really going away.
• 3:56
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's a couple miles away.
• 3:57
[SPEAKER_10]: But it's still packed to the room and so you buckle in shoulder to shoulder with bags and sleeping bags and blankets.
• 4:04
[SPEAKER_10]: It doesn't even really get that
• 4:05
[SPEAKER_10]: I think he has a comically large duffel bag, so yeah, that's that big is him.
• 4:09
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, there's one that's in the bag is in your lab and it's big is you, you don't need an airbag.
• 4:14
[SPEAKER_10]: And so I think we'll kind of pull away from Jesse for a moment.
• 4:18
[SPEAKER_10]: And Jesse, what is your character's name?
• 4:19
[SPEAKER_10]: What is your dad calling out to you as he's kind of roughly telling you to quickly get in the car?
• 4:24
[SPEAKER_10]: Come on, let's get going.
• 4:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: You're gonna have a great time.
• 4:26
  [SPEAKER_07]: I can't.
• 4:26
[SPEAKER_10]: And so we've got to meet the wonderful Zigi is about I think I want to say 13 right now Yeah, and we'll then kind of trail away from Zieg our eyes come in and out of focus as the nausea of a tightly packed backseat begins to wash over us
• 4:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Sweat beads down the forehead caused by particular heat and wind that we can only be certain are found nowhere else but the northern California foothills are the Sierra Nevada range.
• 4:51
[SPEAKER_10]: But you are mostly focused on thousands of thoughts, no horrors and mishaps that could occur knowing your first month of summer has been away from home.
• 4:59
[SPEAKER_10]: Kim, who and what are we looking at?
• 5:01
[SPEAKER_10]: And what are some of the anxieties plaguing your little mind?
• 5:04
[SPEAKER_13]: So, when we pan into the scene in this very densely packed car, I think we see she's around 12, I believe, at this point.
• 5:13
[SPEAKER_13]: She's wearing a tightly zipped up black hoodie.
• 5:16
[SPEAKER_13]: She has the strings of it kind of pulled, so it is taught around her face, but what I think what we see is like these...
• 5:22
  [SPEAKER_13]: Blunt thick bangs.
• 5:24
[SPEAKER_13]: That's it right above her eyebrows.
• 5:26
[SPEAKER_13]: She has the thick black glasses that are the kinds that you see in movies when you need to indicate that someone's a nerd Those kinds of glasses.
• 5:34
[SPEAKER_13]: She just has like large brown eyes.
• 5:36
[SPEAKER_13]: She has a very round face.
• 5:38
  [SPEAKER_13]: I think especially as she's 12 years old.
• 5:40
[SPEAKER_13]: She has like little rosy cheeks and I think at this point how long have we been in the car for?
• 5:45
[SPEAKER_09]: Um, you've been driving for likely about 10 to 15 minutes.
• 5:49
  [SPEAKER_13]: Okay, 10, 15 minutes.
• 5:50
[SPEAKER_13]: Um, I think that she has one leg like up on the car seat, like hugging like her knee to her chest.
• 5:55
[SPEAKER_13]: Um, and she's wearing those like, um, those shorts that Ellie satler wears in Jurassic Park.
• 6:00
  [SPEAKER_13]: Uh, they're very high.
• 6:01
[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, we said she has her shirt tucked underneath that, but you can't really see it because it's covered by this giant hoodie.
• 6:06
[SPEAKER_13]: Um, and then these like almost thigh high, like white socks that have like green rings around them and low top converse.
• 6:13
[SPEAKER_13]: And I think she's sort of twiddling with like the string of her hoodie, kind of thinking a lot about going away for a month because she's even her family for a month.
• 6:30
[SPEAKER_10]: She doesn't quite know what she's doing or what she'll be doing out here right her dad's told her a lot of things that haven't stuck because she's 12 years old And I think she's just sort of thinking also about the drive ahead Yeah, she doesn't like being in the backseat in that again the nausea you feel the nausea of the Tight tightly packed backseat you Hear your mother's voice calling a name your name as your dragged out of your anxieties in your own head and what name is that?
• 6:58
  [SPEAKER_13]: Amanda.
• 6:59
[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, and I think it's even at first, it's like, Amanda, and then it's, Amanda, a sharp, uh, your, again, in your own head and your own anxieties, your yanked out.
• 7:08
[SPEAKER_10]: Did you remember the, some block?
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, I, I grab a neon pink backpack out from, like, behind my mom's seat, put it on my lap.
• 7:18
  [SPEAKER_13]: I unsip it.
• 7:19
[SPEAKER_13]: I look through, uh, is it, is it, is it, and I pull out, like, a sunblock bottle?
• 7:24
  [SPEAKER_10]: Calmine lotion?
• 7:26
  [SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if that's in here, mom.
• 7:28
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, your dad should have packed and starts going.
• 7:30
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 7:31
[SPEAKER_10]: And you are in for a couple more minutes, maybe, maybe an hour of driving ahead of you.
• 7:37
[SPEAKER_10]: And then we kind of pass over, maybe even pull out of the car above to this kind of
• 7:44
[SPEAKER_10]: Green dusted a road, anyone who's driven into inner California, a lot of greenery, but also a lot of nothing, and it is a lot of nothing.
• 7:54
[SPEAKER_10]: We've probably left the town already, and kind of just drifts behind us, maybe even a speck of like brick buildings behind us.
• 8:03
[SPEAKER_10]: We feel the aching of torn calves and quad muscles,
• 8:10
[SPEAKER_10]: as they can tort and cramp, while you sit almost knees to your chest and the passenger seat of your father's forward F-100.
• 8:18
[SPEAKER_10]: Your skin grows itchy and taught with each moment as a sweat beach dry to a salty thin crust surrounding you.
• 8:23
[SPEAKER_10]: The smell of day-old calomine lotion the lingers in your nose as the effectiveness begins to run its course and the pulsing vexing itch that covers your already on comfortable legs begins to rear its ugly head.
• 8:35
[SPEAKER_10]: Tamlin, what are we looking at and how are they feeling?
• 8:39
[SPEAKER_02]: You're looking at this like really awkwardly lanky young man probably around 13 with that Really almost to the scalp buzz That makes this head kind of look like a peanut and Really gnarly braces over like really gapped teeth darker skin, you know, he's he's he's a young black man
• 9:01
  [SPEAKER_02]: So uncomfortable.
• 9:02
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and so again, as I mentioned, it's it's early in the day you guys have left early for camp and Yet the sweat is still drawing on your skin and that is because Your father had you run laps before you left because Well, you're going to be a freshman relatively soon and When that happens, he expects you to start varsity you have the size He needs you have the speed You're not gonna be as bulky as the older boys, so you're gonna have to be able to compete
• 9:28
[SPEAKER_10]: And what is your father calling Kiwis?
• 9:31
[SPEAKER_10]: He's meandering on about how good you could be.
• 9:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I think full name, hobby air, like not hobby, nothing cute, like hobby air, I think it's hobby air, you...
• 9:44
[SPEAKER_10]: added seconds on from your last round of laps you understand that you're getting slower and I don't know how you're doing it if you were on time or if you'd save seconds off we wouldn't be behind now you're gonna be late your friends are gonna wonder where you are we really need to focus up yeah i know all um because i i have uh i'm gonna make sure i we all wake up early before everyone and make sure i get get my reps in before the day starts
• 10:11
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, because your mom had a whole thing about you coming out here, and I thought that we could spend the entire summer training, you promised you agreed, you were going to be getting training in, you were going to be working on your handling, working on your speed, I can't have you dropping that you come back even slower there's 100% no chance than a year you're going to be ready.
• 10:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know.
• 10:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I already have it in my head.
• 10:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'll be sure I'm working out there.
• 10:39
[SPEAKER_02]: And I might have been like, you know, maybe there's other kids who want to play and I'll just, you know, get some teams going.
• 10:47
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I mean, your natural leader, again, I don't think you necessarily need to go to this, but your friends are and your mom insisted and then made me drive you.
• 10:57
  [SPEAKER_10]: So here we are.
• 10:58
[SPEAKER_10]: Can you hand me that water bottle please?
• 11:02
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 11:02
[SPEAKER_10]: And so we kind of sweep over the small town, we just left behind the town of Auburn, California, just underneath a mountain range.
• 11:12
[SPEAKER_10]: It is the summer, so it's a dry heat, it's a bit windy from time to time.
• 11:17
[SPEAKER_10]: It gets cold at night and yeah, you guys are headed out to your summer camp.
• 11:24
[SPEAKER_10]: I believe this is the first summer camp for all of you.
• 11:27
[SPEAKER_10]: Who are we expecting to see there?
• 11:28
[SPEAKER_10]: Do you any of you guys expect to see each other?
• 11:31
[SPEAKER_10]: Are you just going to go?
• 11:32
[SPEAKER_10]: Did you make plans to go with people?
• 11:34
  [SPEAKER_10]: What are we thinking?
• 11:35
[SPEAKER_02]: I think, uh, Hobby got Amanda to convince her parents to let her go so that her parents can convince my parents to let me go.
• 11:47
  [SPEAKER_13]: Right.
• 11:49
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
• 11:49
[SPEAKER_13]: And then I think that we roped Zik into going, who might have not had many plans, but we met him at like the end of the school.
• 11:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 11:58
[SPEAKER_13]: I was in the same neighborhood, so we were probably like, Zik, you should come with us.
• 12:01
  [SPEAKER_13]: It was like,
• 12:02
[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be so, like, no parents.
• 12:05
  [SPEAKER_13]: No parents.
• 12:06
[SPEAKER_13]: We're going to be in the mountains to be really cool.
• 12:08
[SPEAKER_07]: I think he was kind of unsure about it at first.
• 12:10
[SPEAKER_07]: He just kind of wanted to stay home, but then his parents heard about, like, no, this will be a great way for you to make friends.
• 12:14
[SPEAKER_07]: So he's like, oh, OK, he's going along.
• 12:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: very good.
• 12:18
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so you guys all expect to see each other there.
• 12:22
[SPEAKER_10]: I think maybe there's a bit of worry because you know that typically there are four counselors and four like tenser houses or areas that are labeled different things like different teams practically.
• 12:34
[SPEAKER_10]: So I think there's a bit of worry that you guys might not end up getting to stay in the same areas each other.
• 12:39
[SPEAKER_10]: But let's go ahead and have us kind of wash into a nice green natural regional park.
• 12:50
[SPEAKER_10]: This is Hidden Falls Regional Park for our purposes in our world.
• 12:54
[SPEAKER_10]: It's a bit larger than it actually is.
• 12:56
[SPEAKER_10]: It is the summer of 1983 and it is all of your first time getting to stay at Hidden Falls the entire month.
• 13:09
[SPEAKER_10]: but there's a small kind of county run event that some of the older teenagers run and they're the ones that are going to have you guys kind of to be taking care of you guys in lieu of your parents.
• 13:24
[SPEAKER_10]: You'll pull up your kind of bustling out and getting everything.
• 13:28
[SPEAKER_10]: So let's go ahead and go around the table and make sure we have everything we packed and our
• 13:36
  [SPEAKER_07]: I'll go first.
• 13:37
  [SPEAKER_07]: I think it's just my dad.
• 13:38
  [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
• 13:38
  [SPEAKER_07]: So he comes out.
• 13:40
[SPEAKER_07]: So he takes out a large backpack, a large tuftle bag, and we're going through all the stuff.
• 13:45
[SPEAKER_07]: And so he's also kind of dressing like military fatigues and boots.
• 13:49
[SPEAKER_07]: So he looks like he's ready for like survival situation right now.
• 13:53
[SPEAKER_07]: Like he's living in this forest.
• 13:56
[SPEAKER_10]: I think I think your dad thinks anything.
• 13:58
[SPEAKER_10]: Zeke, um, you know that there's
• 14:04
[SPEAKER_07]: You never know what's going to happen if it rains, so then the whole cabin collapses.
• 14:08
[SPEAKER_07]: I need to be able to have this tarp to make a lean through.
• 14:11
  [SPEAKER_07]: You're right, my boy.
• 14:12
  [SPEAKER_07]: You're right.
• 14:15
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, can you help me get this backpack on?
• 14:17
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you can get it on.
• 14:18
[SPEAKER_07]: So he just kind of struggles.
• 14:20
[SPEAKER_07]: He, after a while, he finally gets it on.
• 14:22
  [SPEAKER_07]: He's sweating.
• 14:22
  [SPEAKER_07]: He's covered and sweat.
• 14:24
[SPEAKER_10]: You packed it, you carry it.
• 14:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: And he like packs.
• 14:25
[SPEAKER_10]: You maybe even fall over it.
• 14:27
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 14:27
[SPEAKER_07]: I have to lean on the car.
• 14:28
[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm like, all right.
• 14:30
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right.
• 14:31
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I'll be seeing you and he peels the fuck off.
• 14:34
[SPEAKER_10]: Before you even really take in steps away, he's gone.
• 14:36
  [SPEAKER_10]: He's already feeling off.
• 14:38
[SPEAKER_07]: So he's got this giant backpack on.
• 14:39
[SPEAKER_07]: He's dragging this duffel bag.
• 14:41
[SPEAKER_07]: Covered in sweat, trying to look for what he's supposed to come.
• 14:44
[SPEAKER_10]: You're radiating heat, because it's only because of how much you're carrying, and bugs are beginning to swarm.
• 14:50
[SPEAKER_10]: The light buzz of mosquitoes.
• 14:52
[SPEAKER_07]: It's also a full like military fatigue, so he's like he's covered on.
• 14:57
[SPEAKER_10]: You're you're just releasing heat, and these bugs are like,
• 14:59
[SPEAKER_10]: Yep, right, that's our boy.
• 15:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and so I think then we pull away again and we'll come back over to, um, to Hubby Air.
• 15:08
[SPEAKER_10]: Your dad has probably not stopped talking about what you need to work on this entire drive.
• 15:14
[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe say for a couple of songs that he imparts to you as something he enjoys and he thinks you should also enjoy Whether or not you do is more of a heavier problem than a me problem It's a lot of Jackson 5.
• 15:27
[SPEAKER_10]: So a lot of Jackson 5 and again, whether you enjoy them or not So 100% of a heavier problem and not a father.
• 15:32
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it is it is not the problem of Darren O'Reilly It is the problem of his son
• 15:39
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, anyways, your mother and I are more just try to spend the month Work on the house getting stuff together.
• 15:49
[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe we'll see a movie or something.
• 15:50
  [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know Don't don't fall behind.
• 15:54
  [SPEAKER_10]: I hear practice, please.
• 15:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 15:58
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 15:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll see Yeah, I'll probably I think yeah
• 16:03
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 16:05
[SPEAKER_10]: Also, that Amanda girl makes sure that she's good.
• 16:09
[SPEAKER_10]: Her parents really felt that it would be really important if you were going because they wanted someone that she was comfortable with and new around and I mean look at you know you're safe as a guy around.
• 16:21
  [SPEAKER_10]: You're big.
• 16:22
  [SPEAKER_10]: You're tall.
• 16:23
  [SPEAKER_10]: You're an athlete.
• 16:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: Naturally inclined.
• 16:25
[SPEAKER_10]: I wouldn't want you around to protect my daughter if I had a daughter but you're not I don't have a daughter.
• 16:30
  [SPEAKER_10]: You're my son.
• 16:31
  [SPEAKER_10]: I'll see ya.
• 16:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, grab me my things and getting on up.
• 16:38
[SPEAKER_10]: And then you kind of hit a weight you forgot then and he throws out your running shoes.
• 16:42
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh yeah, I think very purposely forgot.
• 16:44
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and then he waits.
• 16:48
[SPEAKER_10]: I think he waits for you to kind of walk in as much as he is like not in, but like to the you see a group of people kind of curalling in this, uh,
• 16:56
[SPEAKER_10]: Like barbecue center like if you ever been to a park and we're like a family's had a family get together The little cement and benches and things like that.
• 17:04
[SPEAKER_10]: There's a bit of a gathering over there and you kind of see everyone You see some shirts that read camp from the previous summer camp 82 and things like that Yeah, so you begin walking that way.
• 17:13
[SPEAKER_10]: You're gonna wait to see if you see
• 17:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the quickest I'm out of his view, the quick-racken relax, so that's why he's just like, yep.
• 17:21
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so you begin walking towards the group, and lastly, I think Amanda, you guys have been here for a bit.
• 17:29
[SPEAKER_10]: You probably got here first, but your mom has not stopped.
• 17:32
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, so you have a count of my motion.
• 17:34
[SPEAKER_10]: And you have the sunscreen.
• 17:36
[SPEAKER_10]: You, what else do you need?
• 17:37
[SPEAKER_10]: Do you have your glasses?
• 17:38
  [SPEAKER_10]: Do you wear glasses?
• 17:39
  [SPEAKER_10]: I use the panics.
• 17:40
[SPEAKER_13]: They're on my face, Mom.
• 17:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, every glasses, do you bring contacts?
• 17:43
  [SPEAKER_10]: Do you need contacts?
• 17:45
  [SPEAKER_13]: No mom.
• 17:47
  [SPEAKER_13]: Don't look at me.
• 17:47
[SPEAKER_10]: You have all the numbers, you have all the phone numbers.
• 17:49
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I have all the numbers.
• 17:50
[SPEAKER_13]: I have the written down.
• 17:51
[SPEAKER_10]: And you have the second page with them written down on that also.
• 17:53
[SPEAKER_13]: And the one of the very back of the, yep.
• 17:56
  [SPEAKER_10]: And the back one.
• 17:57
  [SPEAKER_10]: Mm-hmm.
• 17:58
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, you have all the numbers.
• 17:59
[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, I have all the numbers.
• 18:00
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay, and do you.
• 18:01
[SPEAKER_10]: I know your dad said.
• 18:04
[SPEAKER_10]: You didn't have to bring them.
• 18:05
[SPEAKER_10]: But do you have the work books I got you?
• 18:09
[SPEAKER_10]: Because I would really appreciate if you just did something, you don't have to swallow your debts.
• 18:12
  [SPEAKER_12]: I have them.
• 18:13
[SPEAKER_12]: I hope I have all of them.
• 18:14
  [SPEAKER_10]: I appreciate them.
• 18:15
[SPEAKER_10]: Alright, let's hear your big girl.
• 18:19
[SPEAKER_10]: And you're going to have to start doing the girl things, and I just think that it's important.
• 18:22
[SPEAKER_13]: I'll find time to date on my promise.
• 18:26
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, no, I'm just saying you're about to go into eighth grade and then it's high school and then it's college and you gotta get you gotta go to college.
• 18:34
  [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, thank you.
• 18:35
[SPEAKER_10]: You don't have to finish them.
• 18:36
[SPEAKER_10]: You know, your dad didn't even say you had to do them, but I, you know, it would mean a lot to me if you did them.
• 18:41
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I, I'll do them.
• 18:42
[SPEAKER_10]: It would matter so much to me.
• 18:44
[SPEAKER_10]: My best to finish them.
• 18:45
[SPEAKER_10]: My dear daughter, if you did them for me.
• 18:48
[SPEAKER_13]: I'll do them, like I said, I'll try my best to find them.
• 18:51
[SPEAKER_13]: At times to finish it, I will try at least to finish one.
• 18:54
[SPEAKER_10]: And you don't have to, again, you, if you're not going to do them, you can just tell me not to do them.
• 18:59
[SPEAKER_13]: I'll do all three, but I'll try my best to finish one.
• 19:01
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm sure you could finish three if you really put the time aside.
• 19:04
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm sure if I really put the time aside, but we like we have a month and I don't know what else is planned.
• 19:08
[SPEAKER_13]: You would know more about what they have planned for us that I gave you.
• 19:11
[SPEAKER_10]: I gave you the head and they said that you would be able to move the times around if you needed to.
• 19:15
[SPEAKER_10]: It's more of a sign-up thing, so you could be able to stay in the cabin the whole time and work outside.
• 19:19
[SPEAKER_13]: I could, but I feel like that would be missing the point of like why I'm here entirely, you know?
• 19:27
  [SPEAKER_11]: You're right.
• 19:35
  [SPEAKER_10]: I love you.
• 19:37
  [SPEAKER_10]: I love you.
• 19:38
[SPEAKER_13]: We're probably standing outside the car.
• 19:39
[SPEAKER_13]: She's probably fixing the straps of my backpack.
• 19:42
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm telling me this because they were twisted.
• 19:43
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 19:44
[SPEAKER_10]: She's fidgeting on everything that you have.
• 19:46
[SPEAKER_13]: My dad has my double leg and is awkwardly standing in the back.
• 19:49
  [SPEAKER_13]: Like a father.
• 19:50
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
• 19:51
  [SPEAKER_10]: Have one.
• 19:52
[SPEAKER_10]: Just like into your bed.
• 19:53
  [SPEAKER_10]: Thanks to Ed.
• 19:55
[SPEAKER_10]: Is that what I have here?
• 19:56
[SPEAKER_10]: I thought that we were going to see him.
• 19:58
  [SPEAKER_13]: I'm sure he's here.
• 20:00
  [SPEAKER_13]: It's not healthy here.
• 20:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Fans over to the group, the tallest kid.
• 20:03
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
• 20:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: I think I see him.
• 20:04
  [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
• 20:05
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's how beer, right?
• 20:06
  [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's how he's.
• 20:07
[SPEAKER_10]: It's like the only black kid here.
• 20:10
  [SPEAKER_10]: I think that's how he looks.
• 20:11
[SPEAKER_10]: That's... Well, sometimes I could use some for other kids.
• 20:13
[SPEAKER_10]: I don't look at my father, I'm sure that he's good to do it, just the hug.
• 20:19
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, he needs your breaks apart.
• 20:21
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, they get in, they also wait.
• 20:23
[SPEAKER_10]: But they don't drive away when you get to the...
• 20:26
[SPEAKER_10]: They mold their windows down to listen to whatever is going to get said.
• 20:29
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 20:29
[SPEAKER_10]: Do you guys look for each other in the crowd?
• 20:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I look for hobby for sure.
• 20:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I see you immediately because I am.
• 20:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: You're so tall.
• 20:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: You're so tall.
• 20:37
[SPEAKER_10]: How tall are you at this age?
• 20:39
[SPEAKER_02]: How tall is an average eighth grader like?
• 20:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Boys vary because they hate people anywhere times.
• 20:44
[SPEAKER_10]: But it really is between like five foot to like five foot five.
• 20:47
  [SPEAKER_10]: Like that's pretty nice.
• 20:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I'm on the high end like five foot five.
• 20:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Five, four, five, five.
• 20:51
[SPEAKER_10]: okay so you you're just taller than the other kids he probably fits in more with the the counselors who were in like the five five to five eight range yeah as the rest of the kids are in the five especially the girls actually the girls are probably a little taller than the most of the boys around these parts because of age how how to work but I can look look over most of the heads yeah yeah so I see you yeah and I don't see my dad and so I'm going
• 21:21
  [SPEAKER_13]: Hi.
• 21:21
  [SPEAKER_13]: You made it.
• 21:22
  [SPEAKER_13]: I did.
• 21:23
  [SPEAKER_13]: I made it.
• 21:24
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, we both survived.
• 21:25
  [SPEAKER_13]: Dude.
• 21:27
  [SPEAKER_13]: You're right.
• 21:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay.
• 21:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I have to wake up at 5 a.m. That's too early every day.
• 21:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not.
• 21:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously.
• 21:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but if my dad asks you, I did.
• 21:42
[SPEAKER_02]: You woke up at 5.
• 21:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: You're right.
• 21:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: I woke up at 5.
• 21:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: I ran.
• 21:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: 20 laps.
• 21:48
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
• 21:51
[SPEAKER_10]: Under 20 laps where we're talking like like like like maybe like a trash area.
• 21:57
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh the cabin area I will say that like that's probably the entirety of the cabin area will say it's like a mile So that's like 20 miles.
• 22:04
[SPEAKER_10]: We'll say it's like half a mile It was like you're running like 10 miles a day because you really got to get your cardio in Which is insanity and I'd say that you you woke up at five and you completed it by seven or eight before everyone got up
• 22:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so that, okay, you know, I wake up at five and I'm coming back to the cabin by like seven.
• 22:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, that's that's the vibe.
• 22:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
• 22:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
• 22:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to do that.
• 22:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh
• 22:27
[SPEAKER_10]: You holding your duffle bag into hands too heavy.
• 22:31
[SPEAKER_10]: You have a big ass back back on too heavy I think you're swaying because your body can't quite decide which way it's gonna fall as someone an older kid Kind of brushes by you and I think it's not quite a bump is definitely not a shove But it's enough to knock you off balance
• 22:49
[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm going to need a role from you, uh, what role would you like to make?
• 22:54
[SPEAKER_10]: Because you guys, you kind of get to make the argument here.
• 22:56
[SPEAKER_10]: You get to pitch to me, how is he called in?
• 22:59
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to go for bronze, he just tried to tough it out.
• 23:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so go and give me a bronze role, and I'm going to say difficulty.
• 23:04
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you got a six plus that's actually perfect.
• 23:06
[SPEAKER_10]: No, so okay, so it's it's a boom What happens is whenever you create on your role?
• 23:12
[SPEAKER_10]: You then get to roll the die again and if you crit again, you get to roll the die again and you just keep adding it up That's crazy.
• 23:17
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so and again, and it is a 10 okay, so you got a six seven plus plus one So is that but yeah, yeah, okay?
• 23:25
[SPEAKER_10]: So, at an eight, it was, I think solely because of your stature, which is small, and holding a bunch of stuff, the difficulty was a 10.
• 23:33
[SPEAKER_10]: So, you didn't quite beat it.
• 23:34
[SPEAKER_10]: You get knocked off balance, and as you begin to fall back, you just hit a larger person than you, and you kind of look back or maybe you look up, and you see Harvey, Harvey, you've just kind of been slammed into by the, you did not notice because back
• 23:52
[SPEAKER_10]: Like that tight like balance between like falling off and standing back up.
• 23:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh Dude, and then like go to death you have probably Oh, thanks, Harvey.
• 24:04
  [SPEAKER_07]: How was your ride?
• 24:06
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you know, it was good a little bumpy towards the end, but we made it you look really prepared
• 24:11
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I don't tell anyone, but I was able to grab a couple of flares.
• 24:16
[SPEAKER_07]: So if something goes wrong, people can find us.
• 24:18
  [SPEAKER_11]: I look at Harvey.
• 24:20
  [SPEAKER_11]: I have an e-servicant, my reader.
• 24:23
[SPEAKER_13]: I look at you and I'm like, do you need your flares?
• 24:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Shit, we might.
• 24:28
[SPEAKER_11]: The force is so scary, my children.
• 24:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I think, and also like, he's cutting loose this summer.
• 24:35
  [SPEAKER_02]: He's like, no, errands.
• 24:38
[SPEAKER_10]: And so you kind of be under on, you have that moment of like, intense, kind of like, police should really play.
• 24:43
[SPEAKER_10]: And you're like, I gotta, and then you hear the,
• 24:48
[SPEAKER_10]: Hello everybody, and welcome to a summer camp hidden in the waterfalls at Hidden Falls Regional Park.
• 24:56
[SPEAKER_10]: I am Reg T. If you have the luck of getting me, you'll be in the camp with the bald Eagles E.
• 25:07
[SPEAKER_10]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
• 25:28
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, so the bald angles of the bobcats get flooded with people, um, you know that there's one counselor and four beds per cabin.
• 25:36
[SPEAKER_10]: So five beds and total.
• 25:37
[SPEAKER_10]: The bobcats and bald angles both have four.
• 25:39
[SPEAKER_10]: It doesn't mean you can't stay there.
• 25:40
[SPEAKER_10]: You can go get in line.
• 25:41
[SPEAKER_10]: And if you just get the straw, you can go there.
• 25:44
[SPEAKER_10]: And if the golden trout and fire ants each have two people in line at the moment as everyone's like rushing around.
• 25:48
[SPEAKER_10]: I think you guys do that like freeze posk is your first time here.
• 25:51
  [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
• 25:52
  [SPEAKER_11]: I do.
• 25:54
  [SPEAKER_11]: I do.
• 25:55
[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, let's let's all go for the trout, I guess.
• 25:58
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, okay, all right, I like fish jinks and it's gold, so it's the best Yeah, my tongue right now because you jinxed me.
• 26:09
[SPEAKER_10]: I did I did jinx you this is canon How long how long does Amanda not talk for?
• 26:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I just have giant eyes at you It's not gonna work this time your jinxed your jinxlets go in line
• 26:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just staring you.
• 26:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not moving.
• 26:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm looking at you.
• 26:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm in.
• 26:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm in.
• 26:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm in.
• 26:27
  [SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
• 26:28
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so you break the jinx.
• 26:29
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys line up with the golden trout.
• 26:30
[SPEAKER_10]: There are two other kids here.
• 26:32
[SPEAKER_10]: So that means that there are five of you here.
• 26:34
[SPEAKER_10]: There is a strawberry blonde counselor.
• 26:38
[SPEAKER_10]: Honestly shorter than um than havi.
• 26:41
[SPEAKER_10]: She's probably about five to.
• 26:42
[SPEAKER_10]: She might even be shorter than Zik.
• 26:44
[SPEAKER_10]: She is you guys would know a high school senior back home again.
• 26:49
[SPEAKER_10]: you guys are not very far from home realistically.
• 26:52
[SPEAKER_10]: You may be like five ten miles out.
• 26:55
[SPEAKER_10]: So it is Ashley Redding.
• 26:56
[SPEAKER_10]: She is very active around the town.
• 26:59
[SPEAKER_10]: She's one of those high school kids who does everything.
• 27:03
[SPEAKER_10]: She helps out the mayor.
• 27:05
[SPEAKER_10]: She's doing all these kinds of things.
• 27:06
[SPEAKER_10]: She has a for all in terms of services.
• 27:08
[SPEAKER_10]: A successful life ahead of her.
• 27:10
[SPEAKER_10]: And she does this because she loves working with the kids.
• 27:13
  [SPEAKER_10]: And she's a soft spoken.
• 27:15
  [SPEAKER_10]: Want to hello?
• 27:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: Golden trout.
• 27:18
[SPEAKER_10]: It looks like we have five of us today, so I am going to need to pull a Little card and see unless someone wants to give up their spot and golden trout.
• 27:26
[SPEAKER_10]: It looks like there's an extra spot at fire ants I see we have three new members and two old members You my friend have an old bobcat shirt.
• 27:36
[SPEAKER_10]: Did you not want the bobcats this year?
• 27:38
[SPEAKER_10]: I know Sarah's a bit much, but if you want to go that way you can go that way otherwise we can just go ahead and pull straws for it
• 27:45
[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, can I try to charm this kid with the bobcat?
• 27:47
  [SPEAKER_07]: Sure.
• 27:47
  [SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry.
• 27:48
[SPEAKER_07]: Like it's gonna be like, hey, like we're all friends We're trying to stick together, you know, like, would you mind if you just like took over the team and just went over the bobcat?
• 27:57
[SPEAKER_07]: Sure, you would want to be with your old friends anyway.
• 27:59
  [SPEAKER_10]: Absolutely.
• 28:00
[SPEAKER_10]: Go ahead and give me that roll for it
• 28:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: You had a two?
• 28:07
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so I set this really, I had this really low at like a five and he's like, I don't know man Listen, I was a bobcat last year and others held a bobcats over there and it's kind of bunk I'm not trying to deal with it.
• 28:20
[SPEAKER_10]: Do you want to deal with it?
• 28:21
[SPEAKER_10]: You can go be a bobcat bobcats were cool They say Sarah's alright, but I thought that something over here the golden trout They won last year.
• 28:29
[SPEAKER_10]: They won the little little event we did at the end of the year I'm trying to win that.
• 28:33
[SPEAKER_10]: I want to win things
• 28:35
[SPEAKER_10]: Rockin' to win with a bunch of newbies here.
• 28:36
[SPEAKER_10]: So maybe you go over there, and Jesse, for your failure, I will give you a token.
• 28:42
[SPEAKER_13]: My God, is that what we're putting those to use for?
• 28:45
[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, because you guys are children and friends, you've all been friends for so long.
• 28:47
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's beautiful.
• 28:48
[SPEAKER_10]: So I'm gonna collect more as we play.
• 28:49
[SPEAKER_13]: For the audience, Adam has a metallic plastic terredactal in his hands right now.
• 28:55
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, okay.
• 28:56
[SPEAKER_10]: I have a Christmas coin that has a reindeer and a bag on it and then I have three little dinosaurs.
• 29:03
[SPEAKER_10]: You know, I don't know if you know when you were a child and we go like the United States or something and they have a big tube of meat dinosaurs.
• 29:10
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 29:10
[SPEAKER_10]: Those are gonna be when I give you guys to keep track of them and you can use them whenever you want You hold onto them until you do and I kind of figured you guys just trade them around your friends You probably got a pack of them together with like the first couple of nickels you guys got yeah For doing something stupid like Plucking the oranges for like old-miss Mickey right mm-hmm And so Jesse would you like a coin that you guys share around as a friend maybe it's like oh, it's a cool Mint coin that you got that one of you got is changed.
• 29:37
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's like a penny
• 29:38
[SPEAKER_10]: or would you like one of the figurine dinosaurs?
• 29:41
[SPEAKER_07]: Actually, I think because I'm easy going, I get two when I fail.
• 29:44
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh shit, okay, what do you do?
• 29:45
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll put the point in the dinosaur.
• 29:46
[SPEAKER_10]: Which dinosaur do you want?
• 29:47
[SPEAKER_10]: We have a terredactyl, we have a stegosaurus, and we have, um, give me the stego.
• 29:51
  [SPEAKER_10]: The stego?
• 29:52
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right, perfect.
• 29:53
  [SPEAKER_10]: Here we go.
• 29:53
[SPEAKER_10]: Pass that on to my buddy, and we have a coin form as well.
• 29:56
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, so yeah, so you now have those coins.
• 29:58
[SPEAKER_10]: I, because you get two, I'll let you retroactively use one since you failed to kind of get another shot of this.
• 30:03
  [SPEAKER_10]: If you want.
• 30:05
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, how does one of these items give you that little push, do you?
• 30:12
[SPEAKER_07]: I think he squeezes on the stagosaurus and it hurts.
• 30:14
[SPEAKER_07]: So he gets a little tear.
• 30:16
[SPEAKER_07]: So he starts tearing up a little bit.
• 30:17
  [SPEAKER_07]: He's like, come on!
• 30:20
[SPEAKER_10]: All right, go ahead and reroll it on.
• 30:22
[SPEAKER_10]: I'll let you add a plus two to that because crying is funny.
• 30:24
  [SPEAKER_07]: Crying is hilarious.
• 30:25
  [SPEAKER_07]: I got a five.
• 30:26
  [SPEAKER_10]: I got a five plus two.
• 30:28
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 30:29
[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, I got a three, so I got a plus two.
• 30:33
[SPEAKER_10]: All right, cry baby, if you're gonna cry about it, I'll just leave.
• 30:36
[SPEAKER_10]: I don't want to be in a group with a cry baby Anyways, there are friends of a cry baby and his kid kind of walks off and give me the stegosaurus And I think in that capacity, you kind of hold those stegosaurus and then when you let it go Maybe one of your friends takes it and swaps you and other dinosaur as you guys kind of use them as like fun currency And you no longer have a stegosaurus in your person and that's not an item you can tend to at the moment We still have your coin
• 30:59
[SPEAKER_10]: So I think Ashley kind of just let that all play out.
• 31:02
  [SPEAKER_10]: She's again a little quieter a little more hands-on
• 31:06
  [SPEAKER_10]: Good job.
• 31:06
[SPEAKER_10]: You got to stay out.
• 31:07
[SPEAKER_10]: I didn't have to draw straws or anything.
• 31:10
  [SPEAKER_10]: No harm no fell.
• 31:12
[SPEAKER_10]: Are you guys ready to head to the cabin and settle in or do you want to walk around the park first and see what we got?
• 31:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: I see we're all carrying stuff.
• 31:18
[SPEAKER_10]: You want to put stuff down the can if not we can go for the walk right now.
• 31:21
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, can we can we drop off our stuff first?
• 31:24
  [SPEAKER_10]: Of course, we are.
• 31:25
[SPEAKER_10]: Let's go and so yeah, you guys head over to the golden trout and so you guys see this
• 31:35
[SPEAKER_10]: No doors on the hinges.
• 31:37
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's just a doorway.
• 31:38
[SPEAKER_10]: And I don't know how many of us have been to science camps.
• 31:42
  [SPEAKER_10]: That should happen.
• 31:42
  [SPEAKER_10]: They do that.
• 31:43
  [SPEAKER_10]: They just raw dog.
• 31:44
[SPEAKER_10]: You're like, what do we need doors for?
• 31:46
  [SPEAKER_10]: You guys come in.
• 31:47
[SPEAKER_10]: There are walls, but there's two open doors.
• 31:49
[SPEAKER_10]: One of the front, one of the back.
• 31:51
[SPEAKER_10]: The one in the back, you can lock around and go in, but it also leads directly out to the little shack to use the restroom.
• 31:56
[SPEAKER_10]: Also, shout out to the bill, that is, however, made out of cement and you can tell it ports downward, kind of into the earth.
• 32:02
[SPEAKER_10]: There's likely some kind of containment tank, they'll fall in.
• 32:07
[SPEAKER_10]: And so, actually, it walks you guys in on the outside of this, um, made, uh, wooden cabin, there is a poorly painted over what you can tell is the golden trout painted from last year that they must have painted last year.
• 32:20
[SPEAKER_10]: And you guys get to paint it this year.
• 32:22
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, I don't know how many of you read the itinerary are read about some of the things you might get to do.
• 32:26
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm sure your mom kind of told you the infinite things.
• 32:28
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that you shouldn't be doing.
• 32:31
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, because you should be doing your work and stuff and one of them is going to be a full cabin make over day.
• 32:39
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, she walks you in.
• 32:41
[SPEAKER_10]: She's like this will be my bed.
• 32:43
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, you could see it's the biggest bed and it's kind of, um,
• 32:45
[SPEAKER_10]: in-between all of the other beds, such as Q&A, and all of you guys.
• 32:49
[SPEAKER_10]: She is a small stack of books next to it.
• 32:51
[SPEAKER_10]: I will be spending most of the summer reading and helping you guys out with whatever you need.
• 32:55
[SPEAKER_10]: When I'm not running events for you guys, I will be reading, and every Tuesday,
• 33:03
[SPEAKER_10]: and Sunday is our cooking day.
• 33:05
[SPEAKER_10]: So that is the day we will be prepping dinner, lunch, and breakfast.
• 33:10
[SPEAKER_10]: So be ready for those.
• 33:12
[SPEAKER_10]: I hope you guys all came ready to cook.
• 33:13
  [SPEAKER_10]: I love making breakfast.
• 33:14
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's my favorite.
• 33:15
  [SPEAKER_10]: I love a pancake.
• 33:17
[SPEAKER_10]: And so anyways, I'm Ashley Redding.
• 33:20
  [SPEAKER_10]: I love pancakes.
• 33:22
[SPEAKER_10]: And my favorite color is purple.
• 33:25
[SPEAKER_10]: Who would like to go next?
• 33:25
[SPEAKER_10]: Let's go ahead and get to know each other in this little
• 33:29
  [SPEAKER_13]: I've made myself smaller.
• 33:30
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, the minute it turns and I, the minute it's, I spikers, I like tighten the strings on my hoodie really slow.
• 33:36
[SPEAKER_13]: Like I pretend like it's not happening, but I'm definitely doing it.
• 33:40
[SPEAKER_10]: And I think as a introvert is an anxious person, you recognize that actually writing it, attempted to trojan horse in, uh, this instead of being like, it's to have her eyes very good.
• 33:51
[SPEAKER_10]: She just started doing me.
• 33:52
  [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
• 33:53
  [SPEAKER_10]: She's the season vet.
• 33:54
  [SPEAKER_10]: She's dangerous.
• 33:57
  [SPEAKER_10]: So who's going first?
• 33:58
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm hobby.
• 33:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: Havi, that's a famous name.
• 34:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't really thought about a favorite color yet.
• 34:04
[SPEAKER_10]: You don't have a favorite color, Havi.
• 34:05
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, maybe we'll find one for you.
• 34:07
[SPEAKER_10]: Over the summer, maybe it's gold, like the gold and trout.
• 34:11
  [SPEAKER_10]: Dude, maybe, maybe.
• 34:17
  [SPEAKER_11]: I said I can't talk.
• 34:19
[SPEAKER_11]: I was talking and yeah, and I actually was trying to do that I was in the group.
• 34:24
[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, maybe maybe hi, hi, what's your name?
• 34:28
  [SPEAKER_13]: I'm Amanda.
• 34:29
  [SPEAKER_10]: Amanda.
• 34:30
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, that's my name.
• 34:32
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm making sure everyone else can hear you.
• 34:34
  [SPEAKER_10]: What else?
• 34:34
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's your favorite color.
• 34:35
[SPEAKER_13]: Um, my favorite color is um, it's um pink pink is a beautiful color.
• 34:42
[SPEAKER_13]: I noticed you don't have much pink.
• 34:43
[SPEAKER_12]: Oh I have my backpack that counts very cute backpack.
• 34:47
[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, pink and purple are so close.
• 34:49
[SPEAKER_13]: We're like cousins Sure, it's very exciting.
• 34:54
[SPEAKER_10]: I like waffles and I like pancakes.
• 34:57
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's growing.
• 34:57
[SPEAKER_11]: This is my eyes are getting wider as I'm speaking
• 35:00
[SPEAKER_10]: I am so happy to have someone that I have so much in common with, but it's still so different.
• 35:05
[SPEAKER_10]: We are truly our own people of Manda.
• 35:08
[SPEAKER_10]: I cannot wait to see who you become at the end of this episode.
• 35:12
[SPEAKER_13]: So like, what do we have planned?
• 35:14
[SPEAKER_13]: My mom said there is a sign-up stuff?
• 35:16
[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, so there's, let's go ahead and have everyone else introduce themselves and we can go over that Amanda, if that's okay with you.
• 35:23
[SPEAKER_11]: Slowly, slowly getting tighter, getting the hole in which my face can be got as getting smaller.
• 35:29
[SPEAKER_11]: I think it's surrounding my glasses now.
• 35:31
  [SPEAKER_10]: I'm getting this.
• 35:33
  [SPEAKER_11]: I'm for treating.
• 35:35
  [SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
• 35:36
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, of course, when we're done, we'll go over that, okay?
• 35:40
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, would anyone like to go next or shall I pick somebody?
• 35:43
[SPEAKER_10]: Because he goes just standing there like, oh no.
• 35:46
[SPEAKER_10]: All right, I'm gonna go ahead and pick somebody, so I'm just gonna roll.
• 35:49
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm gonna flip a coin here, and then, uh, do you want heads or tails?
• 35:53
  [SPEAKER_10]: Heads.
• 35:54
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, so you lose, so you get to go.
• 35:55
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh.
• 35:56
  [SPEAKER_07]: Um, my music, y'all.
• 35:59
[SPEAKER_10]: My favorite color is red and I really like Food my mom makes amazing is equal a Zikil a biblical name very sharp red a wonderful color very sharp and three What kind of food is your mom make?
• 36:20
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, she makes, she makes all kinds, but my favorite is when she does Taco Tuesdays, talk, oh Tuesdays, I also love a good tortilla with ground beef and lettuce and tomato, so good, love Taco Tuesdays.
• 36:37
[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe I could come over sometime, your mom, you know, your mom could teach me how to she makes her tacos.
• 36:41
[SPEAKER_10]: We could do taco Tuesday together.
• 36:43
  [SPEAKER_10]: It'd be so great.
• 36:45
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that sounds great.
• 36:46
[SPEAKER_10]: It sounds like a big smile on a space now.
• 36:50
  [SPEAKER_10]: Amazing.
• 36:50
  [SPEAKER_10]: Ezekiel.
• 36:52
[SPEAKER_10]: And finally we have, and it's this, I think the smallest stack you're girl in here.
• 36:57
[SPEAKER_10]: She's little, but has been standing up straight and is very like sharp.
• 37:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Lila Rodriga's, I like green, I like green foods, and I like summer camp.
• 37:10
[SPEAKER_10]: I know your rookies, golden trout won the race last year.
• 37:15
[SPEAKER_10]: You, you're gonna be our anger, you're tall, you're athletic.
• 37:21
[SPEAKER_10]: I like you, solid, you, take the backpack off, you look like you're gonna fall.
• 37:27
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, I throw it on my bed and it- Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
• 37:49
[SPEAKER_13]: eating like green food like green eggs and ham like doctor's juice I hope so she's pretty cool not gonna like she's kind of hardcore yeah but I get it fair
• 38:04
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so you all talk for a bit.
• 38:07
[SPEAKER_10]: Lila's out, but actually kind of such, well, Lila already knows how summer camp goes.
• 38:12
[SPEAKER_10]: There's nothing new this year that wasn't last year.
• 38:15
[SPEAKER_10]: So let's go ahead and break it down for our new friends here.
• 38:18
[SPEAKER_10]: You three have the luxury of setting up for whatever events you want to do.
• 38:22
[SPEAKER_10]: You can pack your day as little as much as you want to do.
• 38:24
  [SPEAKER_10]: I encourage you.
• 38:26
[SPEAKER_10]: So Ashley, Ashley has one big rule.
• 38:29
[SPEAKER_10]: Ashley's one big rule is that you have to do one thing a day that you don't want to do.
• 38:33
[SPEAKER_10]: If you're not signing up, if you're not doing anything, I'm going to sit down with you.
• 38:36
  [SPEAKER_10]: We're going to have a conversation.
• 38:36
[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to figure out what that one thing a day that you don't want to do is.
• 38:40
[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm going to make sure that you have a fantastic time doing it.
• 38:43
  [SPEAKER_10]: Why?
• 38:43
  [SPEAKER_10]: Because that's Ashley's.
• 38:44
  [SPEAKER_10]: What is it?
• 38:45
  [SPEAKER_10]: What is it?
• 38:46
  [SPEAKER_10]: One big rule.
• 38:47
  [SPEAKER_10]: One big rule.
• 38:48
  [SPEAKER_10]: One big rule.
• 38:48
  [SPEAKER_10]: Exactly.
• 38:50
  [SPEAKER_10]: We'd be safe.
• 38:51
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's a rule.
• 38:52
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, don't worry.
• 38:52
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm prepared to be safe.
• 38:54
[SPEAKER_10]: You look incredibly prepared to be safe.
• 38:57
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's sharp.
• 38:59
[SPEAKER_10]: And what does Ashley's one big rule?
• 39:02
[SPEAKER_10]: You don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it
• 39:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: canoeing, hiking.
• 39:19
[SPEAKER_10]: We do have a couple of tent camping nights that I personally don't do the tent camping nights, but you will be handed up to my lovely friend, Redge T. I'm sure you heard him at the front and any wall the head of the fire ants go fire ants.
• 39:37
[SPEAKER_10]: The bites hurt be careful
• 39:39
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, about this tent, this tent one, uh, can we build our own, like if we want to make a lean too with the tarp we brought?
• 39:46
[SPEAKER_10]: I've never seen someone build their own, but I think we might get some extra points for the race if you build your own.
• 39:52
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's impressive.
• 39:54
[SPEAKER_13]: What do you mean race?
• 39:55
[SPEAKER_10]: At the very end of the, at the very end of the camp, we each cabin participates in a little race, we do some canoeing, we do some little crafts, and we see who can do it the best and the quickest, and you get points per speed and quickness.
• 40:12
[SPEAKER_10]: That's why I encourage you to do at least one thing you're uncomfortable doing, because it means you'll get better at doing something that we're gonna have to test it.
• 40:19
[SPEAKER_10]: It makes you a better, more well-rounded person.
• 40:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
• 40:23
  [SPEAKER_10]: Exciting, isn't it?
• 40:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, I'm very excited for you.
• 40:29
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm gonna go head out and I'm gonna see if lunch is ready You guys stay here.
• 40:35
[SPEAKER_10]: If you need anything, just follow the trail straight back up.
• 40:37
[SPEAKER_10]: We'll all be over there Stay in groups of two make sure no one falls in we had someone drown in the subject take four years ago be careful Just like I just look you got it just like
• 40:49
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh my god.
• 40:51
[SPEAKER_10]: I pull out little floaties.
• 40:53
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you guys are kids, so you can pull out diced to roll.
• 40:58
[SPEAKER_10]: If you want to see if she's lying.
• 41:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: I believe her.
• 41:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm not saying that sounds terrifying.
• 41:06
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so she heads off and you guys are alone for a moment and then you hear the stomping of Lila back up the trail.
• 41:14
[SPEAKER_10]: Anything you guys are going to do before Lila gets back in.
• 41:17
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to lay down for a bit.
• 41:19
  [SPEAKER_07]: I'm, I'm talking it out.
• 41:23
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm going to look at all of the papers that the sign-up sheets.
• 41:26
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
• 41:26
[SPEAKER_13]: I want to see what they all are.
• 41:28
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, okay.
• 41:28
[SPEAKER_10]: So each day kind of has the same events, but every day has about two that are kind of their own, that you can see are written in.
• 41:36
[SPEAKER_10]: So it's, it is a printed sheet, but,
• 41:40
[SPEAKER_10]: one is written in on that and yeah so the typical stuff is there's always a canoe there's always a hike there's always swimming there's always access to like building the tent thing happens once a week there's a tent night where you do a tent night and then
• 41:55
[SPEAKER_10]: Every I guess that every day has kind of two random things due to this the collaborative nature of this game The way I want to play it.
• 42:02
[SPEAKER_10]: We've all camped in nothings differently growing up.
• 42:05
[SPEAKER_10]: I know Jesse was a boy scout for a bit I did a lot of camping growing up and I went to a couple different camps
• 42:11
  [SPEAKER_10]: hated it.
• 42:11
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so there's different things.
• 42:12
[SPEAKER_10]: So let's go ahead and what kind of things I know one thing that I think that Amanda might enjoy.
• 42:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: There's a star watching.
• 42:20
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'm going to start gazing at night and you kind of identify the different Constellations and also develop start tracing so there's a two separate days.
• 42:30
[SPEAKER_10]: So today of identification and the following day you do tracing.
• 42:32
  [SPEAKER_13]: I like that.
• 42:33
[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, I'll put my little name in there.
• 42:36
[SPEAKER_13]: I'll I'll sign up for both of those excited.
• 42:37
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
• 42:38
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so that'll be towards the end of this week.
• 42:40
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's fine.
• 42:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and you just arrived in it's a Monday.
• 42:42
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Those are the only two things that I'm there.
• 42:46
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys have driven up on a Sunday because your parents will come with us.
• 42:48
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right.
• 42:49
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right.
• 42:49
[SPEAKER_10]: Have you anything or anything?
• 42:51
[SPEAKER_02]: I'd turn up for the same ones that Amanda just did and then
• 42:55
[SPEAKER_02]: She normally slots, can I sign up for actually?
• 42:58
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, so there's the under everything, there's four slots.
• 43:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Like four, so pretty much it's, you can sign up for everything.
• 43:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm stacking my days up, I think.
• 43:06
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, all of it.
• 43:07
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, dude.
• 43:08
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what, and actually, this kind of like works for what my dad wants me to do anyways.
• 43:11
[SPEAKER_02]: So like, really, really, I'm up.
• 43:13
[SPEAKER_13]: Really thinking about it, I'm like, like, really just, I'm just, I'm just trying to justify it, yeah, I do.
• 43:18
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm so short next to you and I'm just like, looking up and I'm like, yeah, sure.
• 43:21
[SPEAKER_13]: Dude, you want to do swimming with me?
• 43:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna put your name down.
• 43:24
[SPEAKER_02]: You already have my name down, I can't say no.
• 43:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, alright.
• 43:27
[SPEAKER_10]: Did you sign a mad up for everything or just swimming?
• 43:32
[SPEAKER_02]: for a few things I think yeah a few a few physical things that I just I don't want to go alone yeah and so seek do you want us to sign up for anything while we're doing this and by we I mean hobby because I can't reach well you can do these ones with us all because Amanda's already going to do these ones yeah and so you start with these again and then as sign me up for the ten one two oh yeah dude I'll sign us all for that one yeah and so as
• 44:01
  [SPEAKER_10]: Goodness.
• 44:03
[SPEAKER_10]: I had a sneak switch and no one was going to sign up for anything We're gonna win this year.
• 44:09
[SPEAKER_10]: Also Be careful in there.
• 44:11
  [SPEAKER_10]: There's no toilet paper.
• 44:13
  [SPEAKER_05]: What do you use?
• 44:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh That was the only thing I forgot to pack.
• 44:19
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's unfortunate.
• 44:21
[SPEAKER_05]: How is that the thing?
• 44:22
  [SPEAKER_05]: It's a pack.
• 44:24
  [UNKNOWN]: Yeah
• 44:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I did a thing, I assumed that they would have toilet paper.
• 44:27
[SPEAKER_13]: You know what, my mom might have packed me toilet paper and my duffle bag.
• 44:30
[SPEAKER_10]: Luckily I caught it before I went.
• 44:32
[SPEAKER_10]: I had to do a full squat.
• 44:34
  [SPEAKER_10]: Nothing touched the sides.
• 44:35
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm gonna go check for lunch and just start to hang out.
• 44:38
[SPEAKER_10]: And then she paused at the door.
• 44:40
  [SPEAKER_10]: Who's coming with me?
• 44:42
[SPEAKER_13]: One, two, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four
• 45:06
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, all right, you're good.
• 45:09
[SPEAKER_07]: Hold on, I gotta get a couple things and he gets like a pocket knife and he gets more of those mirrors to like signal planes.
• 45:16
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, are you supposed to have those?
• 45:18
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, in case we get lost in the woods, we can signal a helicopter or a plane.
• 45:23
[SPEAKER_06]: Just keep it hidden broke.
• 45:25
[SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of white people around here.
• 45:27
  [UNKNOWN]: I got that.
• 45:28
  [SPEAKER_10]: Light on your pocket.
• 45:29
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, I shove in my pocket.
• 45:31
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I always end here, guys.
• 45:32
  [SPEAKER_10]: Groupuddle.
• 45:32
  [SPEAKER_10]: Set a pocket knife.
• 45:34
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, good, so you listen to me.
• 45:38
  [SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
• 45:39
[SPEAKER_13]: Did someone really drown in the subject to take for you so?
• 45:42
  [SPEAKER_10]: Can you swim?
• 45:43
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
• 45:44
  [SPEAKER_10]: Then you're fine.
• 45:45
  [SPEAKER_10]: Up.
• 45:46
  [SPEAKER_10]: When?
• 45:47
[SPEAKER_10]: When we have the race.
• 45:48
  [SPEAKER_10]: There's a tent building portion.
• 45:50
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 45:50
[SPEAKER_10]: The bobcats and the bald eagles have access to the rope.
• 45:55
[SPEAKER_10]: They're the closest to it.
• 45:56
[SPEAKER_10]: They always get the most of it.
• 45:59
[SPEAKER_10]: You're gonna cut their rope.
• 46:00
[SPEAKER_06]: But that sounds like cheating.
• 46:01
  [SPEAKER_10]: You listen to me?
• 46:03
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah?
• 46:03
[SPEAKER_10]: We have a whole month.
• 46:04
[SPEAKER_10]: You're gonna get over it in a whole month, and you're gonna do it.
• 46:08
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 46:08
  [SPEAKER_10]: You know why?
• 46:09
  [SPEAKER_06]: Why?
• 46:10
[SPEAKER_10]: Because Lila Roger is... Is a winner.
• 46:12
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 46:13
[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm gonna turn you into winners.
• 46:15
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.
• 46:16
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right.
• 46:17
  [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
• 46:17
[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see if we could find some toilet paper before we get lunch.
• 46:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that's okay.
• 46:20
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, that's okay.
• 46:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, did you?
• 46:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Am I having someone in your bag?
• 46:23
  [SPEAKER_13]: Oh, yeah.
• 46:24
  [SPEAKER_13]: I checked my bag.
• 46:25
[SPEAKER_13]: Did I have toilet paper?
• 46:27
  [SPEAKER_13]: Well, let's let's roll for it.
• 46:28
  [SPEAKER_13]: I think it's fun.
• 46:30
  [SPEAKER_10]: Uh, yes.
• 46:30
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, there is toilet paper.
• 46:32
[SPEAKER_13]: I pull out a roll of toilet paper.
• 46:33
  [SPEAKER_10]: Thank goodness.
• 46:34
[SPEAKER_10]: It wasn't as dry of a drop as I thought.
• 46:36
[SPEAKER_10]: She walks back to the bathroom really great.
• 46:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Rylan's hardcore.
• 46:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she kind of reminds me of my dad, but like in a cool way.
• 46:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
• 46:45
  [SPEAKER_07]: Rylan's really cool.
• 46:46
[SPEAKER_07]: Do you think she'll want to be friends?
• 46:48
  [SPEAKER_07]: I think so.
• 46:48
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we have a choice.
• 46:49
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so.
• 46:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like we're going to be her friends if we want to.
• 46:53
[SPEAKER_02]: We're sleeping in the same room together, man.
• 46:56
[SPEAKER_10]: So Lila comes back out and you guys walk to head to the get lunch.
• 47:01
[SPEAKER_10]: I think that what we're going to do here Because as much as it might sound like it audience this is not what the bulk of our story is going to be this is just the beginning
• 47:11
[SPEAKER_10]: Camp is just one episode.
• 47:13
  [SPEAKER_10]: Camp of 83, right?
• 47:14
[SPEAKER_10]: So let's go ahead and jump four to a couple of days to Stargazing how have you guys been enjoying camp?
• 47:21
[SPEAKER_10]: I would like two to three sentences of descriptions of what you've done If you've had fun or not and kind of tell me if you're coming out of your shell or not
• 47:37
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's cold, it's cold.

• 49:29
  [SPEAKER_07]: So I think it's been a bit of a mixed bag.
• 49:31
[SPEAKER_07]: There's been some things he's enjoyed some things he hasn't Yes, and I think he's starting to get out of his shell.
• 49:36
[SPEAKER_07]: I think Lyla's like actually like helping him out a lot Yeah, I think she's she's also like any time someone tries to mess with us.
• 49:42
[SPEAKER_10]: She's like you've got a You got to ride Yeah, I think you did watch Lyla push someone on to a fire ant hill and then just look and go
• 49:53
[SPEAKER_07]: as they started like, so I think the other kids might be a little scared of us because Lila is just like always around.
• 49:59
[SPEAKER_07]: They don't like if they try to best with us, they got mess with Lila.
• 50:03
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and so I think he started to get out of his shell.
• 50:06
[SPEAKER_07]: Like I think he started to get closer with Lila.
• 50:08
[SPEAKER_07]: He showed her a pocket knife, and that's all the attachments she got.
• 50:11
[SPEAKER_07]: Like a Swiss army that has all these things attached to it.
• 50:13
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I think at one point maybe she like took, she got like a piece of wood, and like she took your pocket knife and carved you like a little like raccoon or something,
• 50:23
[SPEAKER_07]: Now you know how to carve stuff and I gave him back to you so yeah, I think he's starting at least for the group I think outside he's outside of our like thing.
• 50:31
[SPEAKER_10]: He's a little he's still a little bit more like timid with But he's starting to like get out of his shell a bit Yeah, I think one thing of note that just in the first week because it was probably about two or three days out that the star gazing thing was So you guys have been here for almost a full week probably about four or five days now
• 50:45
[SPEAKER_10]: And one thing of note that you guys probably might still be, I don't know if all of you, but I know at least Zeke is uncomfortable doing his lila goes up to Because she has friends here, like she goes to school.
• 50:54
[SPEAKER_10]: You all really go to school together with these kids It's just whether or not you spend time together with likely not, but lila knows everyone here and she walks up to groups a lot Chats looks like she's having fun and then announces how she's gonna kick their ass in the race constantly and you see lila pretty frequently arguing With the red-redged tea the counselor because she's like you know the bald eagles are whack
• 51:16
  [SPEAKER_10]: And that's a fact.
• 51:17
[SPEAKER_10]: And then Redge starts arriving back in here because they're absolutely.
• 51:20
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so that kind of is Zique's experience thus far, hobby.
• 51:25
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, have you gotten up at all in guilt to go and run?
• 51:32
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's a immediately.
• 51:33
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, day one day one.
• 51:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the first morning, you're up at five.
• 51:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm up at five.
• 51:38
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm up at four.
• 51:39
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you're up at four.
• 51:40
  [SPEAKER_10]: Ashley's up reading.
• 51:42
  [SPEAKER_10]: Have you going somewhere?
• 51:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, I was just going for a jog.
• 51:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, around.
• 51:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I was thinking just like the the cabins, this fine.
• 51:53
  [SPEAKER_10]: Lila, Lila shoots up.
• 51:55
[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, can you accompany Havi on his jog around the camp?
• 51:58
[SPEAKER_10]: Of course, there's a little so we're she outpaces here Yeah, I think you do whatever Yeah, so you learned that Lila is in cross country and she is a freshman so she is one year older than you and she lives in Amanda
• 52:13
[SPEAKER_10]: yeah so she's she may be little but she is in cross country right now and uh she kind of just talks to you while you guys run but uh a lot of times she has to run it back to keep pace with you give you a lot of pointers on your form them and um for that because because you allowed yourself to be dutyful as much as you don't want to be I will let you select a dinosaur.
• 52:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: I want this one.
• 52:35
[SPEAKER_10]: I already, we got our blue kind of, oh no, I die of office orders.
• 52:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: I love this voice.
• 52:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Obviously, yeah, so you traded Lila a bit, you do your runnings, but what else, how else is the week going though?
• 52:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he feels very free doing things and like they're like physical things and you know, usually he would be dreading it, but he's having a fun time.
• 52:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
• 52:55
[SPEAKER_02]: And then he has his little,
• 52:58
[SPEAKER_02]: his repensions in the morning where he's like, I got a run in the morning.
• 53:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got a run in the morning.
• 53:03
[SPEAKER_02]: He can only have fun in the day if he's just a few seconds away.
• 53:06
  [SPEAKER_10]: Absolutely.
• 53:06
[SPEAKER_10]: And I think that with that, you grow as much as you hate to admit that the practice helps.
• 53:16
[SPEAKER_10]: Just in the first week alone, you get less tired doing everything.
• 53:21
[SPEAKER_10]: Everything else that you see a lot of the kids kind of getting winded doing or like kind of after things you're pretty good The practice is paying off and makes a difference and Amanda how is your week going thus far?
• 53:37
[SPEAKER_10]: I think that Ashley It's for the lives time with you.
• 53:40
[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe is like I don't want her to know I don't want her to know I honor away from she often does tell you about the book she's reading.
• 53:47
  [SPEAKER_13]: I don't listen to her
• 53:48
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and in this one, well, the guy he was cursed to be a mid-a-tower, and, well, the prince has solved a lot of the many ways.
• 53:58
  [SPEAKER_10]: It isn't that kind of beautiful random, it's anyway, it's house-a-man-as-week-y-o-n-o-spar.
• 54:03
[SPEAKER_13]: So, you know, when you're like 12 years old and like everything stresses you out and like it's all bad, so basically how the week goes is up to like the time they have to leave for an event.
• 54:17
[SPEAKER_13]: She's trying to get as much done in the workbooks as she can because you're 12 years old and this is the way to the world and oh my god, I have to get this done because I don't get this done, I'm going to just want my mother.
• 54:26
[SPEAKER_13]: And I can't do that because I promised that I promised at the end foolishly that I was going to finish at least two And now here I am and now I'm doing a bunch of pages and so at least like before like right up to the time that they have to go to like the next event She's working on it and then like we'll go and even then like lags behind like slightly, but then I think like either Lila or Ashley's like buddy system and I'm like
• 54:46
  [SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, fine.
• 54:47
  [SPEAKER_13]: I'll be there.
• 54:47
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so that is again how it goes for you.
• 54:52
[SPEAKER_10]: You are dutyful also in a way that comes to your own detriment and I will allow you to pick a dinosaur.
• 55:00
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I want the pink one.
• 55:02
  [SPEAKER_10]: I'm gonna pink Terrodactal.
• 55:04
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, and yeah, so you guys have all had very similar, but very different experiences.
• 55:08
[SPEAKER_10]: How have you spending a lot of time with Lila and getting a lot of pointers and getting truly getting better?
• 55:13
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, as, as much as it might come to a detriment to a hobby is truly getting better.
• 55:18
[SPEAKER_10]: Zeke is breaking out of a shell, at least amongst you guys, which is quite nice because Zeke is new and still feels new.
• 55:27
[SPEAKER_10]: It's hard to not feel new for, uh, it takes a while.
• 55:30
[SPEAKER_10]: And I think this is, as, again, as much as you would disagree with your parents, this might have been a good thing for you.
• 55:37
[SPEAKER_10]: And Amanda, you, similarly are having fun,
• 55:43
[SPEAKER_10]: when you're with your friends, but that's about it because I think you're not quite letting yourself have fun.
• 55:51
  [SPEAKER_13]: No.
• 55:52
[SPEAKER_10]: And we've made it to Stargazer.
• 55:54
[SPEAKER_13]: I get really excited for this night actually, but in the weird subtle way where I'm trying to dump out my backpack and all this shit I have in there, and then pack it for the stuff that I actually need, you know, where I pack up, I blank it, one of the probably two or three I have my knuckle bag, bring my binoculars, bring a notebook, I bring like...
• 56:15
[SPEAKER_13]: Pencils and I'm like kind of like not like excited rush packet, but like excited rush bag I can't really hide it because you know I'm excited And I'm just packing it up and I bring a Two week in all of our I have water and put it in there just in case it's late I might get a little bit package.
• 56:36
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and so the day of The Stargazing
• 56:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Ashley's gone most the day.
• 56:43
[SPEAKER_10]: You're not quite sure where she is.
• 56:44
[SPEAKER_10]: She just said she was gonna Kind of head out and had to do some counselor stuff So you guys are kind of solo in the cabin or doing your events.
• 56:51
[SPEAKER_10]: They're still counselors everywhere and there are a couple of like straggling adults here or there And lilies around yeah lilies around and lilies on top of things and so yeah You guys go about the day as per usual hobby probably send you all up for canoeing You guys find yourself getting fairly decent at canoeing
• 57:09
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, as you're doing it is like a team.
• 57:10
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's almost dragon boat-esque.
• 57:11
[SPEAKER_10]: And you guys are really, yeah, you guys are really locking it and you're doing fairly good.
• 57:13
[SPEAKER_07]: I think this is one of those things that our counselor wanted us to do one thing we didn't want to do.
• 57:18
[SPEAKER_07]: And so I think anything water, he doesn't want to do.
• 57:22
[SPEAKER_07]: But he's like, oh, well, I got to do something.
• 57:23
  [SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to do.
• 57:24
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 57:25
[SPEAKER_10]: And then I think in that same breath, Ashley is made you have lead, a lead, a dribbling seminar, and teach you other kids how to do handling of the basketball.
• 57:38
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and so the other and I mean, maybe you even get like this little take on your shoulders because you're like fucking counselors are just sitting over there just making me do their job.
• 57:48
[SPEAKER_02]: I think I'm gonna paid for this.
• 57:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I've been getting paid for this.
• 57:51
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and so you know, you run it again.
• 57:53
[SPEAKER_10]: It's keeping with that note of something uncomfortable with.
• 57:56
[SPEAKER_10]: and Amanda, she has laid off you a bit for the last day, especially today, as Ash is not around, as time kind of winds down and it's getting closer and closer to the night sky.
• 58:08
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys have dinner, maybe even roasted marshmallows right before doing a small night hike away to a clearing.
• 58:16
[SPEAKER_10]: Right before you guys head out to your night hike, Ashley gets back and greets you and has a little like plastic like a convenience store bag She opens it up and she gives each of you a piece of candy like a little bag like either chocolate or little bag of candy And then she pulls out a night sky manual Oh You didn't seem to like any of the books I had and I thought it would be nice if you had a book that you might be interested Thanks Enjoy the night sky
• 58:45
  [SPEAKER_13]: Really awkward smile.
• 58:47
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, see if she just kind of does it back.
• 58:51
[SPEAKER_10]: She's been a teenager before like a young Yeah, she knows She does the does the awkward smile back and then she's like it looks like we're gonna head out in about five minutes So I'm gonna go change my shoes.
• 59:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Let me she guys back down here.
• 59:02
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's good.
• 59:03
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yep.
• 59:03
  [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
• 59:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: Fantastic.
• 59:04
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, I'm ready She gets out five minutes goes by.
• 59:08
  [SPEAKER_10]: Um, Lila is like
• 59:10
[SPEAKER_10]: Guys, when we start hiking, let's push to the front of the pack so we can get the best spot to see the stars.
• 59:18
  [SPEAKER_12]: I'm not my head.
• 59:19
  [SPEAKER_10]: Manda loves stars.
• 59:20
  [SPEAKER_10]: Look at her.
• 59:21
  [SPEAKER_12]: What does that mean?
• 59:22
  [SPEAKER_10]: Look at her.
• 59:23
[SPEAKER_10]: She does look like she likes stars.
• 59:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: Exactly.
• 59:25
  [SPEAKER_12]: Oh.
• 59:28
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's a good thing.
• 59:29
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
• 59:29
  [SPEAKER_10]: You know why?
• 59:29
  [SPEAKER_12]: Why?
• 59:30
[SPEAKER_10]: Because you're going to know every single constellation when they ask us about constellations and you get to see a point per constellation, a terrible constellation.
• 59:38
[SPEAKER_10]: I like looking to start.
• 59:40
  [SPEAKER_04]: I can't remember.
• 59:40
  [SPEAKER_10]: I can't remember.
• 59:41
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
• 59:41
[SPEAKER_10]: I think the one's called the Skinny Dipper.
• 59:43
[SPEAKER_10]: Why would you call it that?
• 59:43
[SPEAKER_10]: That someone's going to be naked in the water.
• 59:45
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's not that.
• 59:45
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's not.
• 59:46
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's not called that.
• 59:47
  [SPEAKER_13]: No.
• 59:48
  [SPEAKER_13]: The big Dipper?
• 59:49
[SPEAKER_13]: That and the little Dipper.
• 59:52
[SPEAKER_10]: But what are they dipping?
• 59:52
  [SPEAKER_10]: I don't understand.
• 59:53
  [SPEAKER_13]: The sky.
• 59:55
  [SPEAKER_10]: They're dipping the skirt.
• 59:56
  [SPEAKER_10]: I can't with you right now.
• 59:57
[SPEAKER_10]: I cannot with you right now, man.
• 59:59
[SPEAKER_02]: I think my last name comes from one of them.
• 1:00:02
[SPEAKER_02]: The O'Reilly's belt, you know?
• 1:00:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Ha ha ha ha ha.
• 1:00:06
[SPEAKER_02]: These smiles like a fucking idiot.
• 1:00:08
  [SPEAKER_11]: That's because you didn't.
• 1:00:10
  [SPEAKER_10]: That sounds true.
• 1:00:11
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, you know, Ryan's belt.
• 1:00:13
[SPEAKER_11]: You did a very listen to it.
• 1:00:16
  [SPEAKER_11]: Ah, let's go.
• 1:00:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Ashley gets back.
• 1:00:18
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys start hiking out.
• 1:00:21
[SPEAKER_10]: Lila is doing like shoulder checking to like, my gosh, to get you guys to the front of the mall.
• 1:00:26
[SPEAKER_02]: I am also, yeah, I give you to my size for something.
• 1:00:28
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and so the two of you and Ashley kind of slowly like just trotting behind like better guys do your own thing.
• 1:00:35
[SPEAKER_10]: The rest of the gums are very much like lead there.
• 1:00:37
[SPEAKER_10]: Their troops actually just like these kids have fucking got it.
• 1:00:40
[SPEAKER_10]: She just kind of trails behind you guys kind of heading up the back as like a good shepherd.
• 1:00:44
  [SPEAKER_13]: What I'm like a baby duck.
• 1:00:46
[SPEAKER_10]: So yeah, so you guys kind of bump to the front and you make it to the clearing.
• 1:00:51
  [SPEAKER_10]: It is this, um,
• 1:00:53
[SPEAKER_10]: Naturally occurring from what you can tell clearing in the trees.
• 1:00:59
[SPEAKER_10]: It is a space of just possibly the softest grass you ever felt surrounded by trees.
• 1:01:06
[SPEAKER_10]: Everywhere else should be trees.
• 1:01:07
[SPEAKER_10]: This should also be trees.
• 1:01:08
  [SPEAKER_10]: It's not.
• 1:01:09
[SPEAKER_10]: It's almost as if nature has given you the space to rest and look up into the sky.
• 1:01:17
  [SPEAKER_07]: All right.
• 1:01:17
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I'm going to lay out my big blanket that has a wolf howling out the moon.
• 1:01:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: I want the rock!
• 1:01:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just assuming there's a big rock somewhere.
• 1:01:27
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's a big one.
• 1:01:28
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I think you drag your blanket over towards the rock.
• 1:01:30
[SPEAKER_10]: You're sitting on the rock.
• 1:01:31
[SPEAKER_10]: The blanket's off the side.
• 1:01:33
[SPEAKER_10]: It is a humongous blanket that can fit like seven people.
• 1:01:36
[SPEAKER_07]: My mom got it for me for my birthday.
• 1:01:38
  [SPEAKER_07]: 100% of you.
• 1:01:40
  [SPEAKER_10]: You all began looking.
• 1:01:42
[SPEAKER_10]: And I would love just some roles for the moment.
• 1:01:47
[SPEAKER_10]: What in the moment are you experiencing and enjoying?
• 1:01:50
[SPEAKER_10]: And you can tell me what you're rolling and then we can kind of talk out the experience.
• 1:01:54
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm gonna use my token, I have intuitive, which lets me spend a token to ask the GM about the surrounding and NPC, et cetera, so I'm gonna ask about the surroundings, I'm looking for a prime spot, so I can look at the sky.
• 1:02:11
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's amazing.
• 1:02:12
[SPEAKER_10]: As nice as the rock is, it pushes you up from the ground a bit and that,
• 1:02:22
[SPEAKER_10]: Almost in a sense of skiers the true like with you can get with your eyes it's like it's like there's trees Yeah, and so you find maybe it's unintuitive and no one's there, but there's a small divot It's the lowest point and from there I think as you step into it It angles you in a way that maybe you wouldn't have thought of initially and in standing or sitting in it You get a full with the view of a sky nice
• 1:02:51
[SPEAKER_10]: then you're able to really take in all of the beautiful celestial bodies that truly are beyond our comprehension.
• 1:03:00
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm taking out my binoculars.
• 1:03:02
  [SPEAKER_13]: I'm looking.
• 1:03:03
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's really good.
• 1:03:04
[SPEAKER_10]: I think to your shagrin, maybe, or maybe you're so caught up in it that you're enjoying this, that you're even recognized, you begin to, you begin to kind of gather a small crowd.
• 1:03:15
[SPEAKER_10]: As they're, as they're like, oh, like, literally, and so they're kind of coming around you and they're pointing and then they're like, and then finally want to, I, Fran, I look at Fran, what is, which Gavin is a little like, Fran has on a bobcats cabin shirt.
• 1:03:34
  [SPEAKER_13]: All right.
• 1:03:35
[SPEAKER_13]: I'll give all your friends.
• 1:03:37
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not going to thank you so much.
• 1:03:39
[SPEAKER_13]: And my point at where she should stand, but it's not in the dividend.
• 1:03:42
[SPEAKER_13]: I don't get out of the dividend.
• 1:03:43
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, no, the brand gets like a nice spot.
• 1:03:45
[SPEAKER_10]: So it's looking and starts how much does a man to know about the constellations?
• 1:03:51
[SPEAKER_13]: Amanda, I think at this point, is starting.
• 1:03:54
[SPEAKER_13]: It's like the big ones I would know for sure, but the more obscure we go, like the less she knows for sure.
• 1:04:01
[SPEAKER_10]: I think another one of them walks up.
• 1:04:03
[SPEAKER_10]: So you, friends holding your binoculars, and then you hear, I think that's Venus and points kind of over your shoulder, and that is gonna be, you look back and you see kind of a,
• 1:04:15
[SPEAKER_10]: Mixed like I would say half white likely half Chinese boy and I points up and he's like, I think that's Venus I think that that I don't remember the name of that constellation And you see that what he's wearing he's from the Baldi Eagles and like again just
• 1:04:32
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, and so you again you're gathering a crowd of the other nerds.
• 1:04:35
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, a couple of from different groups are coming by There's Friend areas here.
• 1:04:42
  [SPEAKER_10]: This boy is here.
• 1:04:42
[SPEAKER_10]: He eventually has to do some self as Andy and you guys
• 1:04:47
[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe you talk about consequences, I don't know.
• 1:04:50
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't know.
• 1:04:50
[SPEAKER_13]: When you say, I don't know what that one is, they take on my little book that I got from Ashley.
• 1:04:54
  [SPEAKER_13]: I have a book, yeah.
• 1:04:56
  [SPEAKER_10]: That is exciting.
• 1:04:58
[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see if we can figure out which one it is.
• 1:05:00
[SPEAKER_10]: OK. And so it's like how do you flick through it?
• 1:05:02
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and so the three of you, I think, have this lighter bod, nothing insane.
• 1:05:07
[SPEAKER_10]: Not best friends all of a sudden.
• 1:05:08
[SPEAKER_10]: But it is sharing a true, common interest with people.
• 1:05:10
[SPEAKER_10]: Harvey is interested because he's your friend.
• 1:05:14
[SPEAKER_10]: And he likes hearing you talk about it.
• 1:05:16
  [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
• 1:05:17
[SPEAKER_10]: How many different really can like how he's like yeah, it's the stars is the sky over there.
• 1:05:21
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, yeah, they shine Yeah, have you you see a small not like fight like a tussle like a little like roll around Tussle break out between who you've been walking around and meeting people because you've been following Lila around who goes over and talk shit to tables You see you see the two Andrews fighting this Andrew A and Andrew are ones for the bobcats one for all the equals and there's a roller
• 1:05:41
  [SPEAKER_10]: I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I can't do it, I
• 1:06:02
[SPEAKER_07]: He's just laying there and he's trying to find the North Star because he's like we'll need to know which way North is in case we get lost He's like talking with Lyla be like, you know where the North Star is so we can find it.
• 1:06:13
[SPEAKER_10]: Do you have your compass?
• 1:06:15
[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, I mean, of course I have my, I mean, he's like ruffled through his like that.
• 1:06:18
[SPEAKER_07]: It's a little bag and pulls out compass.
• 1:06:20
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you click it open.
• 1:06:21
  [SPEAKER_07]: It's, it's not stopping.
• 1:06:25
  [SPEAKER_07]: Whoa, huh, that's weird.
• 1:06:28
  [SPEAKER_10]: I don't have it.
• 1:06:29
[SPEAKER_10]: So you need to come see that, is your compass broken?
• 1:06:31
[SPEAKER_07]: I like tap it a couple times, like get a little shake.
• 1:06:34
  [SPEAKER_10]: Stop, pointing at you.
• 1:06:36
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, and then stops pointing at Ashley, which stops pointing at another kid off in the corner and then starts spinning again.
• 1:06:46
[SPEAKER_10]: And as that happens, I would like a roll from you to resist something.
• 1:06:53
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I have a grit, yeah, I'll take grit, you know,
• 1:06:57
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, 12.
• 1:06:58
  [SPEAKER_10]: Amazing.
• 1:06:59
  [SPEAKER_10]: You can throw again.
• 1:07:00
  [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
• 1:07:01
[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see if we can compound it.
• 1:07:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, three.
• 1:07:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right.
• 1:07:05
  [SPEAKER_10]: So I got a 15.
• 1:07:06
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 1:07:07
  [SPEAKER_10]: Good.
• 1:07:07
  [SPEAKER_10]: This was a 10.
• 1:07:08
[SPEAKER_10]: So you'd be with the 12, but you'd be it pretty succinctively.
• 1:07:11
[SPEAKER_10]: You start to feel as if you were in water.
• 1:07:19
[SPEAKER_10]: I don't like that like the buoyancy of water begins to appear around your body and like that's you know I need it like I just need it like and you hunkered down and I think maybe you like grab your backpack which is so heavy and you're feet leave the ground but you're holding onto your backpack you see Ashley not as capable is off the ground already had it notice someone's going on Ashley's about to foot off the ground at this
• 1:07:49
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, and you guys should like a Kind of noise all of you begin to hear this like hum or thrum, and it's not a noise made by like like steel or some kind of sound being made.
• 1:08:06
[SPEAKER_10]: It is the noise of motion in particles almost you Feel this noise Biologically
• 1:08:20
[SPEAKER_10]: as you're like holding and Ashley and the other kid are now really probably each about five feet up and still ascending.
• 1:08:32
[SPEAKER_13]: So here's here's fun fact, fun fact about me right I'm lost in the sauce.
• 1:08:37
  [SPEAKER_13]: I don't think I if I understand what's happening because I think I'm looking up through my binoculars.
• 1:08:41
[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think I understand what's happening until I feel like the the vibration in my body and so like I'm sure there's like like weird like exclamations that's happening around me I'm lost in the sauce.
• 1:08:53
[SPEAKER_10]: I think the two kids with you were also similarly and then like oh my god.
• 1:08:58
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys are pulled out of it by an unsettling shaking that almost makes it feel as if your heart is going to be shook into a stillness as your entire your bones your blood is moving I'm gonna see that it never has before
• 1:09:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I think he's up on the rock.
• 1:09:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh, oh, oh, hey, let's go on.
• 1:09:22
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, earthquake.
• 1:09:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yes, earthquake.
• 1:09:26
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I think Redge T is also popped up.
• 1:09:28
[SPEAKER_10]: He's like, Everyone earthquake and you guys now see about five feet up two different.
• 1:09:35
[SPEAKER_10]: And Redge T like positive.
• 1:09:38
[SPEAKER_10]: And he starts like reaching at things.
• 1:09:40
[SPEAKER_13]: I think I'm like looking around and I'm like, oh, oh, oh, oh, I think I'm like fully thinking like what's happening?
• 1:09:47
  [SPEAKER_13]: I'm like, oh, that's bad.
• 1:09:49
[SPEAKER_10]: And then finally, and so actually and the other kid have gone silent, they're just floating.
• 1:09:56
[SPEAKER_10]: You do to your grit, feel like the pressure is intensifying on you in your head and you feel like warmth coming down from your nose onto your lip and onto your chin, but you're still conscious.
• 1:10:09
[SPEAKER_10]: The two of them are out.
• 1:10:13
[SPEAKER_10]: floating one of the other counselors Sarah for the bobcats finally breaks the silence or the panic like hush into someone get me some rope and they're just now running around getting rope and attempting to like try to like
• 1:10:29
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, so the child, this is bullet time.
• 1:10:33
[SPEAKER_10]: This is happening frantically and fast, but it's lasting a long time like as much as it's bullet time everything's moving slow.
• 1:10:42
[SPEAKER_10]: It's also been maybe a minute now.
• 1:10:46
[SPEAKER_10]: And with that you then begin to see certain students falling as the the vibration is far too much.
• 1:10:58
[SPEAKER_10]: What do you guys want to do?
• 1:10:59
[SPEAKER_10]: because you're allowed to do whatever you want.
• 1:11:02
  [SPEAKER_10]: You're actually exploding.
• 1:11:05
[SPEAKER_10]: Lila is next to you.
• 1:11:07
[SPEAKER_10]: I think holding you down now because you're holding on to your bag and Lila is like anchoring you.
• 1:11:12
[SPEAKER_07]: I think Ziggs going through his backpack.
• 1:11:14
[SPEAKER_07]: He's like, I got to have something to help.
• 1:11:16
[SPEAKER_07]: And he's just like pulling out just a random shit.
• 1:11:19
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
• 1:11:19
[SPEAKER_05]: See, do you have rope?
• 1:11:21
[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, I don't have any rope.
• 1:11:23
[SPEAKER_05]: How do you not have rope?
• 1:11:24
  [SPEAKER_05]: I didn't think I did rope.
• 1:11:26
[SPEAKER_10]: I would like some kind of rule for like a perception or a notice, however you want to do that.
• 1:11:30
[SPEAKER_10]: Like your just general ability to like notice something or pick something up and you can kind of pitch it to me.
• 1:11:34
[SPEAKER_13]: Would it be a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of
• 1:11:48
[SPEAKER_10]: um i'll take the green one again so the six is a failure you're trying to rack your brain with what could be doing this but all you can think about is the stars because that's what in the forefront of your mind and it's hard to focus when your friend is floating and your cabin uh counselor is now six feet in the air hobby
• 1:12:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, could I roll a charm as like sort of like an insight situation looking at the people around me to try and yes.
• 1:12:22
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 1:12:22
[SPEAKER_02]: You can specifically the counselors who are in action.
• 1:12:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
• 1:12:25
[SPEAKER_10]: You're trying to read there.
• 1:12:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:12:26
[SPEAKER_10]: Like, like, like, has this happened before.
• 1:12:28
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:12:28
  [SPEAKER_02]: Like, is this something?
• 1:12:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a seven on the day.
• 1:12:34
[SPEAKER_10]: You look around and you notice that the counselors themselves are not equipped for this.
• 1:12:45
[SPEAKER_10]: able to resist the feeling of whatever this is disrupting you guys more kids have begun to fall and you do see one of the camp not the counselors but one of the kids of the camp I think is one of the fire ants is standing just like open mouth staring up
• 1:13:05
[SPEAKER_10]: And as you look, it's this like, I think maybe it takes you a moment, cause I don't know what I've been looking at.
• 1:13:11
[SPEAKER_10]: And you keep looking, and then you see that, maybe like someone moves funny, one of the counselors moves funny, they have like flashlights out because they have little like little pellets on their things like that.
• 1:13:20
[SPEAKER_10]: And light hits, and instead of going like light should it bounces, and there's something in this thing, up in the air, they're pretty close to over you.
• 1:13:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh no!
• 1:13:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and then I look at Zico's play with Zico and I jump down and like try and pull the legs down.
• 1:13:43
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you know, you and Lila are holding down Z. Lila looks up.
• 1:13:47
[SPEAKER_13]: This is devastating because I'm far away from my friend.
• 1:13:49
[SPEAKER_10]: He's got the handle looks up because I think you hear his voice ring out.
• 1:13:52
[SPEAKER_13]: And I just probably did your up.
• 1:13:54
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and you look up and you also see like maybe a light randomly cracks live Also see that they're like people bouncing off of you guys.
• 1:14:01
[SPEAKER_10]: I had it pointed out to you There is something blending in with the sky, but just above you guys not quite obscuring you and it is Whatever it is or whatever is occurring to you now occurs Amanda Romia another Another brains.
• 1:14:21
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
• 1:14:21
[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see what occurs to you
• 1:14:23
  [SPEAKER_13]: God, I hope something.
• 1:14:25
  [SPEAKER_13]: Wow, a five.
• 1:14:26
  [SPEAKER_10]: I'm nothing.
• 1:14:27
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, you have your dinosaur.
• 1:14:29
  [SPEAKER_10]: You know what?
• 1:14:29
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm gonna use my dinosaur to do it again.
• 1:14:32
  [SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
• 1:14:33
[SPEAKER_13]: And ask you, like, in my little 12 year old brain, right?
• 1:14:37
[SPEAKER_13]: In all of the things that I have consumed, like, media-wise, and just like, even just like reading and stuff like that, I'm very like, well, ready for a 12 year old, reading what my lovely, you know, type of things.
• 1:14:48
[SPEAKER_13]: Is there anything that my little 12 year old brain can piece together right now about what this thing in the sky is?
• 1:14:54
[SPEAKER_10]: First, I'll uh, like, Sherlock Holmes style.
• 1:14:58
[SPEAKER_10]: You like close your eyes for a moment and your brain is just picking through what you know, and We get a picture of your cabin that you've been staying in and the stack of books and one of the books on top has a gray alien face And that's the first thing.
• 1:15:11
[SPEAKER_10]: You know, the little brain ghost is like God be aliens then you're like ridiculous science and then you start picking through what else You know
• 1:15:19
[SPEAKER_10]: What do you know that floats?
• 1:15:21
[SPEAKER_10]: What have you played with that floats or can make things float magnets?
• 1:15:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: Magnetism.
• 1:15:26
[SPEAKER_10]: Something going on with metal magnets with electromagnetic fields.
• 1:15:29
[SPEAKER_10]: You don't know this full science behind it because you're 12, but you have to be something with electromagnetic or magnets.
• 1:15:34
  [SPEAKER_13]: Alright, I think I just panicked y'all magnets!
• 1:15:39
[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, you think a flare will kill it?
• 1:15:40
  [SPEAKER_07]: I'm a pull out of flare!
• 1:15:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Alright, so you pull out of flare.
• 1:15:43
[SPEAKER_10]: You know where the thing is, it's roughly what do you want to do?
• 1:15:48
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm igniting the flare and I'm just gonna throw it with all my might.
• 1:15:50
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so you chuck the flare.
• 1:15:52
[SPEAKER_10]: Give me, I like this and I like that the flare is getting coming into play.
• 1:15:57
[SPEAKER_10]: I'll give you another dinosaur and go ahead and give me a, what kind of role do you want to do for your throw?
• 1:16:04
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay Oh, I got Nate.
• 1:16:08
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, come on come on come on in a six.
• 1:16:11
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay, so that's a 14
• 1:16:13
[SPEAKER_10]: You, you reel back and you chuck this thing and I think you let go of your stuff Trusting your friends implicitly and I think you intuitively have the kind of See lila let's go to let him lift up and you just drop down and hold it angles So he's higher in the sky than his height would allow typically and so he's a little closer to it and he chucks this thing
• 1:16:41
[SPEAKER_10]: And it hits whatever this is and it rings out and then there's a
• 1:16:47
  [SPEAKER_10]: noise.
• 1:16:48
[SPEAKER_10]: And you see all of the people that are floating go from floating to rapidly falling.
• 1:16:53
[SPEAKER_10]: Two of the counselors had managed to like get actually partially of the way down.
• 1:16:59
[SPEAKER_10]: And they have her about two feet.
• 1:17:00
[SPEAKER_10]: So she just to feet down hard but not hurt hurt.
• 1:17:05
[SPEAKER_10]: The other child was still very high up as one of the counselors couldn't get the child.
• 1:17:10
[SPEAKER_10]: But three of the kids were
• 1:17:12
[SPEAKER_10]: parachuting and before the kid didn't even fall and they were building like a little parachute because they're like We're close up hatched to come down and you see the other kids are trying to like solve things on their own I'll go grab them.
• 1:17:21
  [SPEAKER_13]: We'll flank it.
• 1:17:22
[SPEAKER_10]: That was funny Yeah, they pulled you guys wolf like it out from how do you guys they they they have it out and they catch that kid You hear a thud Probably not allowed as it could have been and They're just a dull moment
• 1:17:36
[SPEAKER_02]: He falls on to me.
• 1:17:38
  [UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
• 1:17:39
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 1:17:39
  [SPEAKER_07]: On to you.
• 1:17:39
[SPEAKER_07]: I think this is a really close together.
• 1:17:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
• 1:17:43
  [SPEAKER_06]: You good?
• 1:17:44
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 1:17:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you think I killed it?
• 1:17:47
  [SPEAKER_10]: Lila looks at you.
• 1:17:49
[SPEAKER_10]: It's the bravest thing I've ever seen anyone do.
• 1:17:51
  [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, thanks, Lila.
• 1:17:54
  [SPEAKER_10]: I don't think you killed it.
• 1:17:56
[SPEAKER_13]: I was looking up at it.
• 1:17:57
[SPEAKER_13]: Was there anything that I could like see when that all happened?
• 1:18:00
[SPEAKER_10]: Imagine if a shooting star went the other way.
• 1:18:04
  [SPEAKER_13]: No.
• 1:18:05
  [SPEAKER_10]: Anyways.
• 1:18:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: I won't actually.
• 1:18:09
[SPEAKER_11]: I want to match it.
• 1:18:09
  [SPEAKER_11]: Actually, I don't know.
• 1:18:10
[SPEAKER_11]: I did not know that.
• 1:18:11
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 1:18:12
  [SPEAKER_10]: So.
• 1:18:12
[SPEAKER_10]: Reg tea finally composed himself.
• 1:18:16
  [SPEAKER_10]: Lines.
• 1:18:19
[SPEAKER_10]: lines please we're gonna go ahead back uh... let's get everyone tucked in several bring ice cream around when we get back and we're gonna have ice cream their cabinets tonight make sure you put it out in the trash and uh... bears let's go and they start kind of like riling everyone that's passed out trying to get people up
• 1:18:38
[SPEAKER_10]: Um, their teenagers dealing with this, uh, they do their best, um, everyone kind of comes to slowly.
• 1:18:45
[SPEAKER_10]: Ashley comes to and immediately has to be in charge again is like, let's line up.
• 1:18:52
  [SPEAKER_10]: I need water.
• 1:18:53
  [SPEAKER_08]: Let's go get water.
• 1:18:54
  [SPEAKER_13]: I have a, I have written down.
• 1:18:56
[SPEAKER_13]: I have an extra air ahead water bottle on my backpack.
• 1:18:58
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm going to pull it out and then hand it to Ashley.
• 1:19:03
[SPEAKER_10]: She opened the is rich shit.
• 1:19:05
[SPEAKER_10]: I feel I'm going over her and she likes it in her Let's go and you guys all walk back to your cabins and And the you get your ice cream in the night kind of goes on awkwardly I don't know if you talk about it or not or but one of those things is like
• 1:19:23
[SPEAKER_13]: I think, okay, so I think, because I've known hobby for so long, I think that there's this thing that I do and when I want to talk about stuff, but I don't want the adults to know, is that we talk under a blanket.
• 1:19:38
[SPEAKER_13]: And so you see, once like, actually, probably leaves, right?
• 1:19:42
[SPEAKER_13]: Because she probably has a counselor.
• 1:19:43
[SPEAKER_10]: I think you do, or she just passed out on her bed.
• 1:19:45
[SPEAKER_10]: I think she drags a chair out to the front, is just sitting waiting for the ice cream to come, but you can see she's got to go.
• 1:19:50
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, so you see like like me under my sheets and the bed of flashlight on you see the silhouette And I'm just kind of like wasting time.
• 1:20:00
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I think Lila sees that and why I was gonna climb under all so I'm like I would like to talk also Well, I don't want The four of us are just under here.
• 1:20:09
[SPEAKER_02]: What are you guys doing with her?
• 1:20:12
[SPEAKER_13]: So like what was that?
• 1:20:15
  [SPEAKER_13]: Are you okay?
• 1:20:16
  [SPEAKER_13]: Is everyone okay?
• 1:20:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: Zegre, you okay?
• 1:20:19
  [SPEAKER_10]: You saved the day.
• 1:20:20
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you know, I... You know that flare did come in here.
• 1:20:23
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I knew the flare would be helpful, but I didn't think I would have to kill a cosmonaut with it.
• 1:20:29
  [SPEAKER_13]: Cosmonaut?
• 1:20:30
[SPEAKER_07]: Cosmonaut is one of the Russian astronauts.
• 1:20:34
[SPEAKER_07]: And I look at, I look at Lila.
• 1:20:35
  [SPEAKER_10]: Lila, actually.
• 1:20:37
[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think it was cosmonauts it.
• 1:20:40
[SPEAKER_10]: Had to be... Had to be an angel, right?
• 1:20:44
  [SPEAKER_10]: Were we being raptured?
• 1:20:46
  [SPEAKER_10]: That's my fear.
• 1:20:47
[SPEAKER_07]: Did I just kill an angel?
• 1:20:48
[SPEAKER_13]: I would be worried if I were you Is it an angel or an alien worse?
• 1:20:55
  [SPEAKER_10]: Alien.
• 1:20:56
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you know like like a like a full green people They're not all green.
• 1:21:09
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh
• 1:21:11
[SPEAKER_10]: So, aliens, angels, cosmonauts, maybe.
• 1:21:14
  [SPEAKER_13]: Oh, that option's, I think.
• 1:21:18
[SPEAKER_10]: Why would they even be at camp at a kids camp?
• 1:21:22
  [SPEAKER_07]: Well, I mean, if it's a rapture, then I mean, that's what I'm saying.
• 1:21:27
  [SPEAKER_07]: I make sense.
• 1:21:27
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm worried that we didn't get a rapture, never when else did.
• 1:21:30
  [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no.
• 1:21:30
[SPEAKER_10]: As if I were to call my parents in the morning.
• 1:21:33
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, we should call our families and stuff, find out if they got raptured.
• 1:21:38
  [SPEAKER_10]: Fingers crossed, they didn't.
• 1:21:39
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, what if it was just like an optical illusion or something but magnets I was floating Yeah, like compass was being Optical illusions and also magnets yeah, it could be magnets my compass was I think it was Magnet oh well, you know Magnet your compass was being weird and we're talking about magnets I've heard that in some national parks there are different types of minerals that can cause Electromagnetic disturbances
• 1:22:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: There it is.
• 1:22:05
[SPEAKER_02]: There's what that that if that was probably what it was that makes the most sense.
• 1:22:08
  [SPEAKER_13]: Right.
• 1:22:09
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, but like that doesn't fully rule out the thing and the thing and the thing and the thing.
• 1:22:14
[SPEAKER_13]: Well, and I point out the sky.
• 1:22:15
  [SPEAKER_07]: I threw it out.
• 1:22:16
  [SPEAKER_13]: Optical illusions.
• 1:22:17
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yes.
• 1:22:18
[SPEAKER_10]: It was an occured because Magnet magnets and electromagnetic fields that it can field could affect our vision.
• 1:22:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And there was a lot of kids and everyone was breathing.
• 1:22:28
  [SPEAKER_10]: A lot of breath.
• 1:22:29
  [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of breath.
• 1:22:30
  [SPEAKER_10]: A lot of CO2.
• 1:22:31
  [SPEAKER_10]: A lot of CO2.
• 1:22:32
[SPEAKER_13]: Let us see who's playing the floating.
• 1:22:36
  [SPEAKER_13]: How did you feel?
• 1:22:36
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, that's the electromagnetic field.
• 1:22:38
[SPEAKER_10]: He just got caught in it because he probably has a lot of metal on it.
• 1:22:40
[SPEAKER_13]: Does that make you float?
• 1:22:43
  [SPEAKER_13]: I don't.
• 1:22:43
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I bunch of my stuff in my backpack is metal.
• 1:22:47
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so maybe that's what happened.
• 1:22:48
[SPEAKER_13]: But I don't think Ashley had a lot of metal on her.
• 1:22:52
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, Ashley was gone all day, so maybe she got some metal stuff.
• 1:22:55
[SPEAKER_13]: but like she didn't have nearly as enough as Zeke did.
• 1:22:59
[SPEAKER_10]: And so then the blanket looks up ice cream time.
• 1:23:02
  [SPEAKER_13]: Oh, nice.
• 1:23:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-
• 1:23:17
[SPEAKER_10]: Just in case it was Angel's case.
• 1:23:20
  [SPEAKER_10]: I'm sorry, Angel's.
• 1:23:22
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you all, I don't know.
• 1:23:24
[SPEAKER_10]: Again, I don't know if you sleep for the night, Ashley knocks out pretty early.
• 1:23:29
[SPEAKER_10]: And the next morning, some of you may call your parents checking on them.
• 1:23:33
  [SPEAKER_10]: It wasn't a wrap, sure.
• 1:23:34
  [SPEAKER_10]: Camp goes on.
• 1:23:35
[SPEAKER_10]: There's nothing weird happens any other days.
• 1:23:38
[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe here, there, someone says something about seeing a star move funny or hearing something in the woods.
• 1:23:44
[SPEAKER_10]: But isn't that just what we talk about when we're camping?
• 1:23:46
[SPEAKER_07]: All the time we'll have my compass out just like checking it.
• 1:23:50
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, never nothing We'd ever happen to get you do notice your compass sometimes doesn't point the right way But that could be anything
• 1:23:58
[SPEAKER_10]: and the month kind of boils down to the last week, you all do the same stuff last week.
• 1:24:05
[SPEAKER_10]: Do you participate in the skywatch again?
• 1:24:07
[SPEAKER_10]: I think the following week they don't do it, but the week after they have the nightwatch again, once the counselors have simmered down a bit, do you guys do it again?
• 1:24:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: I would.
• 1:24:19
[SPEAKER_02]: The magnets are probably still there.
• 1:24:22
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, maybe we'll bring some rope and tie yourselves down just to be safe.
• 1:24:26
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so you bring your self to a tree, you never fly off.
• 1:24:33
[SPEAKER_10]: You never get a buzzing again and the last day rolls around and you guys have honed some skills, done some things you hadn't done before, learned some stuff and it's time for your little race slash competition.
• 1:24:45
[SPEAKER_10]: So I'm going to let each of you pick.
• 1:24:49
[SPEAKER_10]: what you roll and you'll give it to me and we'll kind of decide how you what you're doing exactly okay.
• 1:24:57
[SPEAKER_10]: We got to do a team huddle with Lila because she's doing nothing.
• 1:25:00
[SPEAKER_10]: All right nerds today's the day.
• 1:25:02
[SPEAKER_10]: I'll take them on in swimming in the runner-up.
• 1:25:07
[SPEAKER_10]: Do you think you can outpace me?
• 1:25:09
  [SPEAKER_10]: Be honest.
• 1:25:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: No.
• 1:25:10
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right.
• 1:25:12
[SPEAKER_10]: In the run around the cabins, you'll anchor us in the tug of war at the very end, you're going to do the three of you are going to do the canoeing.
• 1:25:23
[SPEAKER_10]: I got to save my arms for the rope climb.
• 1:25:25
[SPEAKER_10]: You're going to do the drawings and the names of the stars and you're also going to do the crafts.
• 1:25:35
[SPEAKER_10]: You're gonna do the tent building?
• 1:25:36
  [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
• 1:25:37
[SPEAKER_10]: You're gonna do the whittling.
• 1:25:38
  [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
• 1:25:39
[SPEAKER_10]: Do we think we can handle it?
• 1:25:41
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 1:25:42
  [SPEAKER_07]: Go team.
• 1:25:42
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll go put my hand up for a high five.
• 1:25:44
  [SPEAKER_07]: Go team.
• 1:25:44
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 1:25:46
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 1:25:46
[SPEAKER_10]: And you guys go on and you do these things.
• 1:25:49
[SPEAKER_10]: So who wants to go first and they're all a year old one thing for all of them.
• 1:25:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: I can do mine.
• 1:25:55
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'll use my brawn.
• 1:25:56
  [SPEAKER_10]: All right, perfect.
• 1:25:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Anchoring the tug of war and whatever the hell else I end up doing.
• 1:26:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh goodness, that's not very good.
• 1:26:06
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, you're gonna use your dinosaur?
• 1:26:08
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
• 1:26:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly the same.
• 1:26:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
• 1:26:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's a nine on the die.
• 1:26:14
  [SPEAKER_10]: Nine's still very good.
• 1:26:17
[SPEAKER_10]: You're tug-worn kids, other children, and so you're just the anchor.
• 1:26:21
[SPEAKER_10]: So you dig your heels in and I think you guys win it, you go two and two.
• 1:26:26
[SPEAKER_10]: So you get points, the tug wars worth the most points.
• 1:26:30
[SPEAKER_10]: So if you clean swept, you would've probably
• 1:26:33
[SPEAKER_10]: but with a two-in-two record, it's enough to keep you in the run-ings.
• 1:26:38
[SPEAKER_10]: And then you also did the canoeing, which all do you guys want, hobbies rolled the capital canoeing to one another rolled the capital canoeing.
• 1:26:47
[SPEAKER_10]: We'll do hobbies, some probably.
• 1:26:49
[SPEAKER_10]: So that'll similarly, you guys came in second place for canoeing, on to Zeeek.
• 1:26:55
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, you're tent making any air.
• 1:26:57
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but you want to run.
• 1:26:58
[SPEAKER_07]: And I am gonna cut their their roads.
• 1:27:00
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, so I I need some kind of like how would you sneak around and do that?
• 1:27:06
[SPEAKER_07]: I just get distracted and be like, I thought I saw a barrel for there.
• 1:27:08
[SPEAKER_10]: All right, so going to use your year.
• 1:27:10
  [SPEAKER_10]: What is it?
• 1:27:11
  [SPEAKER_07]: Sure.
• 1:27:12
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, your charm.
• 1:27:14
  [SPEAKER_07]: Got 11.
• 1:27:15
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, yeah, I love it.
• 1:27:16
  [SPEAKER_10]: They, they look.
• 1:27:17
[SPEAKER_10]: You do a little like notches in them so that way they'll give shortly and then you assemble, you've assembled yours.
• 1:27:23
[SPEAKER_10]: I need a role for your assemblage though, you're assembling of it.
• 1:27:28
[SPEAKER_07]: We're just going to probably just do I do great because I'm just like hyper focused on
• 1:27:35
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's a nine.
• 1:27:36
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, yeah, you build one well and then on top of the sabotage, you come in first place.
• 1:27:41
[SPEAKER_10]: Two of them fall one of them's leaning and so you're just rock solid.
• 1:27:46
[SPEAKER_10]: The one that's leaning, the name of that rope on it, you didn't have to do anything to it.
• 1:27:48
[SPEAKER_10]: It just was just built that way.
• 1:27:50
[SPEAKER_10]: And so you've gotten you guys, your guys, full points for the tent making and for the widdling, you managed, what do you whittle, what do you make?
• 1:27:58
[SPEAKER_10]: What make a raccoon like?
• 1:27:59
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yes, of course.
• 1:28:00
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you make a little raccoon.
• 1:28:01
[SPEAKER_10]: I think yours has a little more fine definition that Lila has been working on it.
• 1:28:05
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 1:28:06
[SPEAKER_10]: All roll for Lila would really quick, Lila got an 11, so Lila outpaces pretty much all the boys in the run, which gives her the headstart and the swim and she manages to finish first.
• 1:28:19
  [SPEAKER_13]: Slay.
• 1:28:20
[SPEAKER_13]: I'm going to roll a brain to see how much my little brain remembers.
• 1:28:23
  [SPEAKER_13]: Do this.
• 1:28:26
[SPEAKER_10]: I got a 17 with a 17 you you blow it out of the water you remember everything it's uncanny how much you remember from this it's like you're reciting the book oh yeah and yeah with a 17 and an 11 and then with your guys's your full success and your second place successors
• 1:28:44
[SPEAKER_10]: That is enough to lock in another year's W for the golden trout Cabbage.
• 1:28:52
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, baby.
• 1:28:52
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Lila comes out Happy excited.
• 1:28:55
[SPEAKER_10]: It's at the the the tug war's lasting you do so all this goes on and you finally do the tug of war You you win one you lose one you lose one you win one And so yes, we lose win ending on a dub that gives you the last bit of points.
• 1:29:08
[SPEAKER_10]: You need you violate it a little huddle with you guys She's like we need this last one hobby
• 1:29:14
[SPEAKER_10]: And you like anchor down.
• 1:29:15
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, but to dirt like drag it you guys successfully get it
• 1:29:20
[SPEAKER_10]: She's like, I got you all something.
• 1:29:22
[SPEAKER_10]: And she pulled out a little friendship bracelets that have a little fish on them.
• 1:29:26
[SPEAKER_10]: They only had the Jesus fish, I'm sorry.
• 1:29:29
[SPEAKER_10]: You know what I can't say about?
• 1:29:31
  [SPEAKER_10]: She's like, but I paid him, I'm gold.
• 1:29:33
  [SPEAKER_10]: Gold and trout forever.
• 1:29:34
  [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, it didn't trout.
• 1:29:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: Gold and trout.
• 1:29:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: Gold and trout.
• 1:29:39
  [SPEAKER_10]: Gold and trout.
• 1:29:40
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so the gold and trout, you guys, chant, you guys get to have pizza party and invite whoever you want.
• 1:29:47
[SPEAKER_10]: And Lila says the best part about this.
• 1:29:49
[SPEAKER_10]: Is we can invite everybody and they can't even be mad at us for winning because they get pizza too Like the way you think, Lila That's what makes us so good.
• 1:30:01
  [SPEAKER_10]: We're winning so bad.
• 1:30:02
[SPEAKER_10]: We're better than them in every way.
• 1:30:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: They wouldn't invite us
• 1:30:05
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys have a pizza party, they, I think probably Ashley and Reg drive in and go get like, you know, six stacks of pizza everywhere.
• 1:30:15
  [SPEAKER_02]: Like six cents.
• 1:30:16
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, everyone gives a bunch of pizza.
• 1:30:18
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys have a great pretty much last night there.
• 1:30:21
[SPEAKER_10]: The next morning parents start rolling in.
• 1:30:23
[SPEAKER_10]: The rest of your summer still ahead of you.
• 1:30:25
  [SPEAKER_10]: And you guys.
• 1:30:29
[SPEAKER_10]: Wrap up your your summer camp the rest of summer probably goes pretty normal.
• 1:30:34
[SPEAKER_10]: You guys like that for this I feel like you might hang out a lot.
• 1:30:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'll try to.
• 1:30:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, yeah, I think all the stuff's in the morning though Yeah, I think he's like really dramatic and it's like I'll see you guys.
• 1:30:45
[SPEAKER_02]: See you guys when school starts Yeah, I just think once I make varsity he'll get off my back.
• 1:30:53
  [SPEAKER_02]: All right, so yeah
• 1:30:58
[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I have these guys like my guys.
• 1:31:02
  [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you all disembark.
• 1:31:04
  [SPEAKER_10]: You get near cars.
• 1:31:06
[SPEAKER_10]: You get in both your parents are there.
• 1:31:08
  [SPEAKER_10]: You're dead.
• 1:31:09
[SPEAKER_10]: It gives you a normal hug and he's like, I, I don't get fun.
• 1:31:13
  [SPEAKER_13]: I don't want to fun.
• 1:31:17
[SPEAKER_10]: and then it kind of bells out.
• 1:31:19
[SPEAKER_10]: And then your mom's like, look at the seat next to you.
• 1:31:22
  [SPEAKER_10]: And there's more books.
• 1:31:25
[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, yeah, I finished all three.
• 1:31:27
[SPEAKER_10]: I figured you would, so I got you three more.
• 1:31:30
[SPEAKER_13]: You know, there's so much more summer left.
• 1:31:32
  [SPEAKER_10]: Exactly.
• 1:31:33
[SPEAKER_10]: You're just like me, my daughter.
• 1:31:36
[SPEAKER_13]: Really awkward trying to be genuine smile.
• 1:31:39
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, how how was hanging with Havi and you said another of your friends came right?
• 1:31:44
