• 0:12
Speaker 1: work at work. You play on the internet at work
• 0:14
Speaker 1: and here's something for you to watch. It's our final
• 0:17
Speaker 1: trailer for Vision Quest. Hello.
• 0:25
Speaker 2: My name's Vision and I'm here for the tribe.
• 0:40
Speaker 1: Paul bettany and james spader okay out on the 14th
• 0:46
Speaker 1: of october vision he was a hero an avenger i
• 0:54
Speaker 1: have his memories but not his virtue you're a ghost
• 1:00
Speaker 1: haunting her footsteps that dead witch related a number on you.
• 1:07
Speaker 2: Ultron, you are impossible, cruel, and callous. And yet here
• 1:12
Speaker 2: I am, still occupying space in your mind, rent free.
• 1:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's basically the plot. We don't know how much
• 1:23
Speaker 1: of this story takes place in his head or in
• 1:26
Speaker 1: the real world. Our family, our mother, and our father.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: You'll remember Vision died in the Avengers movie.
• 1:35
  Speaker 2: It's a boy.
• 1:37
Speaker 1: But in WandaVision... Let's bring him home. She recreated a
• 1:43
Speaker 1: version of Vision. And save your son. It may or
• 1:47
Speaker 1: may not be him. I'm guessing that a lot of
• 1:55
Speaker 1: this show takes place in his head.
• 1:58
Speaker 2: And who's James Spader?
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: Spader is Ultron.
• 2:00
Speaker 2: I have these memories of someone I've not met.
• 2:12
Speaker 1: All those years ago.
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: Ultron, stop!
• 2:17
Speaker 1: Remember, Ultron wanted to destroy all life on the planet.
• 2:21
Speaker 1: You know, to save it.
• 2:23
  Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
• 2:28
Speaker 1: So the question is, is, you know.
• 2:32
Speaker 2: Remember, family is forever.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: Who is this Vision? How does he connect to our universe?
• 2:44
Speaker 1: The show will run eight episodes.
• 2:45
Speaker 2: What's the best way in? Kill them all. Is that
• 2:49
Speaker 2: your answer to everything?
• 2:53
Speaker 1: Run eight episodes, starting with a two-part premiere on October 14th,
• 2:57
Speaker 1: and then new episodes drop weekly on Wednesdays until the
• 3:01
Speaker 1: finale November 25th, so you can all watch it for Thanksgiving.
• 3:05
Speaker 2: Oh, get the family around the TV.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: How nice. Now, I told you about this new G.I.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: Joe movie that Danny McBride is writing.
• 3:14
Speaker 2: Which I'm here for.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: He is a big fan of the G.I. Joe comic
• 3:20
Speaker 1: from the Marvel, from the 80s. And that's basically what
• 3:26
Speaker 1: he's basing one of his stories, one of the stories
• 3:30
Speaker 1: from that comic. Is this live action? This will be
• 3:32
Speaker 1: live action because we have cast Duke Bradley Cooper. Okay.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: Will be Duke. In the new....
• 3:43
Speaker 2: It's good because Bradley Cooper can do... There'll be a
• 3:46
Speaker 2: comic twist to this.
• 3:47
Speaker 1: There has to be, right? Sure. I mean, with Danny
• 3:49
Speaker 1: McBride in charge, you've got to have a little bit
• 3:51
Speaker 1: of humor in there. It was this version of the
• 3:55
Speaker 1: comic that introduced the commando strike force featuring soldiers with
• 3:59
Speaker 1: names like Roadblock and Snake Eyes. And, of course, the
• 4:03
Speaker 1: high-tech adversary, the terrorist organization known as COBRA. The key
• 4:08
Speaker 1: bad guys, including Cobra Commander, Baroness Destro, and Zartan.
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: Real American hero.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: Oh, yes. Yeah, so. My 12-year-old self is so excited
• 4:19
Speaker 1: right now. This will be good. Yeah, Danny McBride is
• 4:22
Speaker 1: a big fan of the comic, and there's this one
• 4:25
Speaker 1: particular run in the comics where there's a town called
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Springfield that is completely infiltrated by Cobra, but you wouldn't
• 4:33
Speaker 1: know it if you drove through. It just looks like
• 4:36
Speaker 1: a regular small town. Okay. So that's the one that
• 4:39
Speaker 1: we think we're going to get from Danny McBride. Chase Infinity. Yes,
• 4:46
Speaker 1: she was... In One Battle After Another. She's very good.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: And the only reason I bring this up is because, boy,
• 4:53
Speaker 1: this mighty Marvel team up here, Sam Raimi and Jordan Peele,
• 4:58
Speaker 1: are producing a movie called Portrait of God for Lionsgate.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: And Chase Infinity has been chosen... to star in this.
• 5:08
Speaker 1: Infinity will star in this Portrait of a God. Hails
• 5:11
Speaker 1: from Rising director Dylan Clark, who wrote the script with
• 5:14
Speaker 1: Joe Russo, the Avengers. No plot details are available, but
• 5:18
Speaker 1: sources describe it as a new twist on religious horror. Really?
• 5:22
Speaker 1: But all I had to hear was Sam Raimi and
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: Jordan Peele.
• 5:26
Speaker 2: I can't believe they're almost too big to team up.
• 5:29
Speaker 2: That's almost like a Lucas Spielberg.
• 5:31
Speaker 1: Kind of thing. Yeah, exactly. I mean, as far as
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: horror goes.
• 5:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I mean, yeah.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: And they're just producing. They're not directing, but still, they'll
• 5:39
Speaker 1: have some input. And finally, this Marvel Studios 2019 release,
• 5:46
Speaker 1: back in theaters, Avengers Endgame, returns to number one on
• 5:52
Speaker 1: all-time global box office chart.
• 5:54
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: It has beaten Avatar. Thank God. You'll go see it
• 6:02
Speaker 1: because of the extra footage. I mean, that's the reason
• 6:04
Speaker 1: that I would go. There's footage that kind of leads
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: you into Doomsday.
• 6:10
  Speaker 2: Which is Christmas?
• 6:11
Speaker 1: Which is around December 15th, I want to say. But yeah,
• 6:16
Speaker 1: so that's what everyone's going to see. And the reason
• 6:19
Speaker 1: that Spider-Man is being made available for rent very, very
• 6:24
Speaker 1: soon is because they're going to re-release it again. With
• 6:27
Speaker 1: additional footage featuring, you know, characters and scenes that were
• 6:33
Speaker 1: not in the original release.
• 6:35
Speaker 2: So they want you to watch it at home and
• 6:36
Speaker 2: then go back and watch it.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: At the theater? Go back to the theater and watch
• 6:39
Speaker 1: it again. No, put the new version out at home. Yes.
• 6:42
Speaker 1: Quadruple payday. But specifically, this is the one where Claire Templeton,
• 6:47
Speaker 1: the night nurse, played by Rosario Dawson, who was in,
• 6:51
Speaker 1: she was originally in Daredevil, but then she was on
• 6:53
Speaker 1: all those Netflix Marvel superhero shows. she did a scene
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: with Tom Holland.
• 6:59
Speaker 2: But that didn't appear in the regular movie.
• 7:01
Speaker 1: It was not in the movie. So that's just one
• 7:03
Speaker 1: of the scenes that they're putting back in. So there
• 7:06
Speaker 1: you go. You'll give them their money eventually. I got
• 7:09
Speaker 1: one more question, though, for you before you take off
• 7:11
Speaker 1: the geek hat. Godzilla minus zero.
• 7:13
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 7:14
Speaker 1: Now, is it true? Because I haven't delved into this,
• 7:17
Speaker 1: and you and I haven't talked about it, but is
• 7:19
Speaker 1: Ghidorah going to be the other monster? Seems to be,
• 7:22
Speaker 1: but also the big surprise is it's the first Godzilla
• 7:25
Speaker 1: movie ever rated R.
• 7:26
Speaker 2: Oh. Yeah. Will that be violence?
• 7:31
Speaker 1: Will that be slingshot? That's people getting squished, I think.
• 7:37
Speaker 2: It's not Godzilla sex.
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: I don't think that's right. I don't think that's right. Hey, listen,
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: you know.
• 7:41
Speaker 2: I don't know. Whatever sells tickets.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: King Ghidorah could get in there. Oh, my God. Anyway.
