- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's make some money. I'm Lawrence Presman. Welcome everybody to
- 0:04Speaker 1: the best betting show ever. I'm back from three days
- 0:07Speaker 1: away up in Muskoka at the cottage, jet skiing, water skiing, hydrofoiling, surfing.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I did none of those. I sat and read Art
- 0:19Speaker 1: the Caesar, joining us Joe and Airy guys. I'm catching
- 0:24Speaker 1: up and getting ready. I'm deep into NFL reading, college
- 0:28Speaker 1: football reading, and it's basically begun. We've had our first
- 0:34Speaker 1: football game of the year. Just went exciting game down
- 0:38Speaker 1: to the wire. We're gonna talk NFL preseason. We got
- 0:42Speaker 1: some sharp bets coming your way. Our parlay of the day,
- 0:45Speaker 1: predictive markets, college football wind total. I'm talking Florida, Art,
- 0:51Speaker 1: you're talking Syracuse and Joe ore Dame.
- 0:58Speaker 2: There we go. We're gonna tell you.
- 0:59Speaker 1: How to all three of those teams a little later
- 1:03Speaker 1: on whilst our MLB rundown. Let's get to it Art.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Let's start right up the bat with NFL preseason. You
- 1:09Speaker 1: know we had the Hall of Fame game. What kind
- 1:12Speaker 1: of action was taken on it? Were they right? Were
- 1:15Speaker 1: they wrong? How the books do well?
- 1:18Speaker 3: Always good action on the NFL. When you have that back,
- 1:21Speaker 3: you know, Joe and I talked about it yesterday. You know,
- 1:24Speaker 3: it was a game that the numbers have been out
- 1:26Speaker 3: for months. You know, it's not like this this week
- 1:28Speaker 3: where you're gonna have fresh preseason numbers and they're gonna
- 1:31Speaker 3: be bet very quickly once those numbers go up.
- 1:34Speaker 4: These Hall of Fame numbers have been up for months.
- 1:36Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:37Speaker 3: The Panthers took a little bit of money, slight favorite
- 1:40Speaker 3: ended up winning by three. We talked about that total
- 1:42Speaker 3: where it feels like everyone always wants to bet the
- 1:44Speaker 3: under in these games, even though the last three or
- 1:47Speaker 3: four and now probably adding this game in last night
- 1:50Speaker 3: five have gone over. So anytime you can have football,
- 1:54Speaker 3: especially with the light baseball schedule, it's gonna be good
- 1:57Speaker 3: for the books.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Was impressive last night. It was more offense in that
- 2:02Speaker 2: game than I thought there was was going to be.
- 2:04Speaker 2: And maybe Haines King and Carson Back could be playing
- 2:09Speaker 2: quarterback somewhere this year. I was pretty impressed with both
- 2:12Speaker 2: last night. So actually an entertaining Hall of Fame game.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I thought it was going to be awful. That was
- 2:17Speaker 2: actually pretty entertaining.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah, But and I will say this, obviously, quarterback controversy
- 2:25Speaker 1: no we see in college football all the time. You know,
- 2:29Speaker 1: these guys come out like remember Joey Harrington, You know
- 2:32Speaker 1: these like monsters, monsters in college football, and they get
- 2:38Speaker 1: to the NFL. It is just way too much speed.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Last night, those quarterbacks had a lot of space and
- 2:44Speaker 1: a lot of time if they were if they were nflready,
- 2:49Speaker 1: especially a guy like Carson Beck, what's he forty? He
- 2:52Speaker 1: would already be playing. So but what game? Nevertheless, sharp bets, Art,
- 3:01Speaker 1: what are you hearing out there with today? We got
- 3:03Speaker 1: a big baseball card, you know we got we do
- 3:08Speaker 1: have tennis going on. Any tennis type of bets we
- 3:10Speaker 1: need to know about nothing.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I'm sure as we get closer here to the US Open,
- 3:15Speaker 3: we'll be able to talk a little bit more tennis.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But I got a couple of Major League Baseball plays
- 3:19Speaker 3: and a couple WNBA plays. Let's start with the WNBA.
- 3:23Speaker 3: This is a team the Sharps have been on all year.
- 3:25Speaker 3: They laid four with the dream, it's now up to six.
- 3:28Speaker 3: They took under with the wings one sixty three and
- 3:30Speaker 3: a half, now one sixty one and a half. Three
- 3:34Speaker 3: MLB sides they're on. They're on the pirates, They're on
- 3:37Speaker 3: the Cardinals and they're on the Angels.
- 3:41Speaker 1: There we go, Art, we got Canadian football. It's underway, obviously,
- 3:48Speaker 1: we're deep into the season already. We got a game tonight,
- 3:50Speaker 1: Autawa gains Saskatchewan Outawa can't win a game if you
- 3:53Speaker 1: gave them one. Are you taking bets in the CFL?
- 3:58Speaker 1: What type of action are you getting there?
- 4:00Speaker 3: I mean, the CFL is one of those niche markets
- 4:03Speaker 3: like the WNBA, where the guys who are in from
- 4:07Speaker 3: the beginning, they're in and they're gonna bet it all
- 4:10Speaker 3: the way through. So it's not that you get crazy
- 4:13Speaker 3: action on those games.
- 4:14Speaker 4: You really don't. You just lower lower limits too.
- 4:17Speaker 3: You got to remember with the CFL, they're not going
- 4:19Speaker 3: to be NFL limits, they're not going to be college
- 4:21Speaker 3: football limits. So you take lower limits on the CFL
- 4:24Speaker 3: because it really is a sharp marketba.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Art any, we had one yesterday, I think right as
- 4:34Speaker 2: that starting to wane. Aren't the playoffs coming up here
- 4:37Speaker 2: soon too as well?
- 4:39Speaker 4: They're definitely coming.
- 4:40Speaker 3: And once again the WNBA people are going to be
- 4:42Speaker 3: there and they're not gonna waiver. They're there from day one.
- 4:45Speaker 3: But now when football starts to approach, and now you
- 4:48Speaker 3: get these preseason games, you know, Thursday through Monday, and
- 4:52Speaker 3: you have each preseason week. Probably even the more casual
- 4:55Speaker 3: WNBA better who might throw WNBA think into their parlays
- 5:00Speaker 3: or whatnot. Now they're going to reverse and say, hey,
- 5:02Speaker 3: now I'm gonna put my NFL stuff in with my
- 5:04Speaker 3: baseball stuff. So you probably get hurt a little bit
- 5:07Speaker 3: with the casual with the WNBA.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Now with the NFL starter.
- 5:12Speaker 1: There you go, guys, let's get to our parlay of
- 5:15Speaker 1: the day. Art will start with you.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I love taking unders when we're playing in Giants Stadium
- 5:23Speaker 3: or you know whatever you're gonna call that ballpark now
- 5:26Speaker 3: in San Francisco. Give me the Tigers Giants under eight
- 5:28Speaker 3: and a half.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Joe Tampa Bay plus money against Seattle, I'll take them.
- 5:37Speaker 1: There you go, And guys, I'm gonna stick in Canadian football,
- 5:42Speaker 1: We're gonna take Saskatchewan. I want you to buy the
- 5:44Speaker 1: hook because we are in a parlay the rough Riders
- 5:49Speaker 1: minus seven against a team that used to be the
- 5:52Speaker 1: rough Riders and now are called the Red Blacks. What
- 5:56Speaker 1: a name, huh, the Red Black. So there we go,
- 5:59Speaker 1: Saskatchewan minus seven. Put that into your parlay as Ottawa
- 6:03Speaker 1: is about to go oh and seven to start the year.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Predictive markets Bitcoin, my brother, have you been doing it
- 6:12Speaker 1: without me?
- 6:13Speaker 2: We have not but the same exact price all the
- 6:18Speaker 2: time they left.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Well, that's exactly what I said it would be. And
- 6:23Speaker 1: you know, Joe, I mean, I think we're gonna see.
- 6:25Speaker 1: You know, it's Friday. I'd like to lay off on Friday.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I do.
- 6:30Speaker 1: If I had to bet, I would look to take
- 6:34Speaker 1: some juice. I would maybe go with the no on
- 6:37Speaker 1: the under six four five eighteen cents. I can see
- 6:42Speaker 1: that's sort of where I will lean right now at
- 6:44Speaker 1: six four nine as you are showing it are basically
- 6:47Speaker 1: sixty five thousand. Can it drop five hundred? Hell yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I could drop five hundred, but we're the end of
- 6:53Speaker 1: the show. You could drop five hundred before the end
- 6:56Speaker 1: of the segment. Eighteen cents. That's where we're going. But
- 6:59Speaker 1: play I don't like playing bitcoin on Fridays.
- 7:04Speaker 2: A little too volatile there with the frodday market. Yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 2: that makes total that makes total sense. Here interesting art.
- 7:14Speaker 2: We talked the updated World Champion yesterday in Major League Baseball,
- 7:18Speaker 2: and you know, of course the Dodgers get school and
- 7:21Speaker 2: we saw that market go right through the roof here.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Interestingly enough, now that Boston hasn't stopped winning games, guess
- 7:29Speaker 2: who the favorite to win the American League is? Art, Boston.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Now they're tied with the Yankees, and there's lowly Tampa
- 7:37Speaker 2: at eighteen cents right now to win the American League.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Pennant feels like there's money in all three of these here, Art.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, listen, I came on before the trade
- 7:50Speaker 3: deadline and said I think there was still value on
- 7:52Speaker 3: the Yankees because I felt they were going to make
- 7:53Speaker 3: more moves. They obviously disappointed me and didn't make any moves.
- 7:57Speaker 3: The Red Sox did make moves. You're right, what are
- 7:59Speaker 3: they like? Thirty and five in their last thirty five?
- 8:02Speaker 3: They just don't lose. It's incredible. It's hard to back
- 8:08Speaker 3: the Yankees right now. I still think Tampa's pretty good.
- 8:10Speaker 3: I you know, I know that even if they get
- 8:13Speaker 3: home field, I don't know if that's you know, the
- 8:16Speaker 3: end will be all for them, because I think the
- 8:18Speaker 3: Yankees and Boston go in there and win.
- 8:21Speaker 4: But I don't know. I hate to say it. I
- 8:23Speaker 4: think I'm anti Yankees now.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Oh and look at the Boston number twenty two.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean they were war goods by both Boston
- 8:33Speaker 1: and Houston. I mean go back six weeks, guys, unbelievable.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Both these teams are putting something together.
- 8:41Speaker 2: It's crazy price nine cents a week ago. Wow, yeah,
- 8:47Speaker 2: that's crazy. I mean lose like people realize.
- 8:50Speaker 1: That, right, That's what I was gonna say. I think
- 8:53Speaker 1: the right play right now, if you can go back
- 8:55Speaker 1: to that, Joe, I think the right play right now
- 8:59Speaker 1: is to buy the no on Boston. It's just so
- 9:04Speaker 1: damn juicy as just too much money. But you know, guys,
- 9:11Speaker 1: just remember the old age, old cliche, you know, sell
- 9:16Speaker 1: high by low. You can't be buying Boston in Houston
- 9:20Speaker 1: right now.
- 9:21Speaker 2: No, No, I agree, Well you can buy all three.
- 9:25Speaker 2: I guess at those priced there PRIs to the s
- 9:28Speaker 2: You're right, you might actually make, you might actually still
- 9:32Speaker 2: profit when it's all said and done. Because those three
- 9:35Speaker 2: teams are the American League East art. Is there any
- 9:38Speaker 2: is anybody in the central the West gonna have a
- 9:41Speaker 2: chance actually pulling it down?
- 9:43Speaker 3: Well, I mean, Joe, you probably agree, maybe you won't,
- 9:46Speaker 3: but if you look at the American League when it's
- 9:48Speaker 3: all said and done and we get the six teams in.
- 9:52Speaker 3: It's not gonna shock me, honestly, if anyone makes the
- 9:54Speaker 3: World Series any American League, there's not like the American
- 9:58Speaker 3: League is so up in down. It's gonna be who's hot,
- 10:01Speaker 3: who's pitching is lined up, you know, who gets hot
- 10:04Speaker 3: for three weeks like and then whatever, they'll go get
- 10:06Speaker 3: murdered by the Dodgers.
- 10:07Speaker 4: But anyone can win the American League.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Pass years, Yes, exactly it yep. This is very strange
- 10:19Speaker 2: then too, because if you look at who is going
- 10:23Speaker 2: to win the American League East, right, it's a big question,
- 10:27Speaker 2: but look at these numbers. Tampa is going to win
- 10:31Speaker 2: the American League East. The Yankees now are going to
- 10:34Speaker 2: finish below Boston apparently, are we are? We saw that
- 10:38Speaker 2: Tampa's gonna run away with it.
- 10:42Speaker 1: No, I'm not making any of these bets.
- 10:45Speaker 2: No, I mean, and you're looking at this and then
- 10:48Speaker 2: you compare it to who's gonna actually win the American
- 10:52Speaker 2: League championship. I mean, Tampa is only eighteen steps, but
- 10:56Speaker 2: they're gonna run away with the American League East Division.
- 10:58Speaker 2: And they're how many games up now?
- 11:00Speaker 4: Art four? Five? Tops?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Let me see four? If they are? Yeah, there are
- 11:07Speaker 2: four games in the win games. Yeah, so four games
- 11:11Speaker 2: and Boston, by the way, is only five games out.
- 11:14Speaker 2: So the Yankees are four and a half of Boston's fine,
- 11:17Speaker 2: but you would think that they're pricing Tampa just to
- 11:20Speaker 2: run away with this, and I don't get it. I
- 11:21Speaker 2: don't think Tampa runs away with anything. I mean, Tampa
- 11:24Speaker 2: will be good, but there's not guarantee you to go
- 11:26Speaker 2: do it. No way, I'm with you. That's overreaction city.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And by the way, Boston's not winning the American League East?
- 11:34Speaker 2: Who are we kidding here too? As well? A couple
- 11:37Speaker 2: of no markets right there, Aret, I don't think Tampa's
- 11:40Speaker 2: running away. Boston's got sixty three wins, Yankees have sixty four,
- 11:45Speaker 2: and Tampa has sixty eight and we still got what
- 11:47Speaker 2: art fifty games ago?
- 11:50Speaker 4: Yeah, a little bit less.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I mean, obviously Tampa's advantage is, you know, you'd have
- 11:54Speaker 3: to look at their schedule, how many more home games
- 11:56Speaker 3: they have, because I think they have the best home
- 11:57Speaker 3: record in baseball. They've been good at home, they've been
- 12:00Speaker 3: good at beating up on bad teams. And you got
- 12:02Speaker 3: to assume that all these teams have one, maybe even
- 12:05Speaker 3: two series left with each other at least one. You
- 12:08Speaker 3: would think they all have with each other, so they're
- 12:10Speaker 3: gonna play each other as well.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Love it, guys.
- 12:13Speaker 1: There's a couple of things kelsy wise, there's one up here,
- 12:16Speaker 1: A will Congressional salaries increase before twenty thirty? Now, my
- 12:25Speaker 1: original thought it's fifty two to the yes. My original
- 12:29Speaker 1: thought was, hell, yes. Why wouldn't anyone want to raise
- 12:34Speaker 1: their own salaries?
- 12:36Speaker 2: Do you know when the.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Last time Congress had a salary raise?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Last week?
- 12:43Speaker 1: What do you think last week? What did you say?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Are I said, let us know?
- 12:48Speaker 3: I would guess by the way you're saying that like
- 12:50Speaker 3: the nineties, twenty two.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Thousand and nine, that was seventeen years ago. However, with
- 12:59Speaker 1: the however, I'm going to suggest everyone take yes at
- 13:04Speaker 1: fifty two percent because I'm going to throw in a
- 13:06Speaker 1: factor that was not around in two thousand and nine.
- 13:10Speaker 1: The makeup of the Democratic Party suggests that the people
- 13:17Speaker 1: who want to give away free things like to increase
- 13:21Speaker 1: their own personal salaries. So I'm going with yes. Because
- 13:26Speaker 1: of the irony and the paradox and the dichotomy of
- 13:31Speaker 1: the social democratic movement, I'm going with yes.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Let me ask you how since they increase thousand and
- 13:39Speaker 2: nine nine, okay.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And Jack gives it a thirty thirty five percent chance.
- 13:46Speaker 2: So since two thousand and nine, prays, how many of
- 13:50Speaker 2: those same politicians have become multimillionaires in the stock market?
- 13:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well that's okay. So there's another one. So
- 13:59Speaker 1: we'll member be banned exactly? Will members be banned from
- 14:06Speaker 1: from buying stock before January twenty first, twenty twenty nine?
- 14:13Speaker 1: The yes is thirty two percent.
- 14:16Speaker 2: If they are I guarantee you their south, they're going
- 14:19Speaker 2: to vote to increase their salaries one or the other.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Picking poison yep, picking poisoned.
- 14:26Speaker 1: But I do want to say one thing very interesting
- 14:28Speaker 1: about Kelsh. We spoke a couple of weeks ago about
- 14:31Speaker 1: l s a Ed and Michigan, and we pointed out
- 14:34Speaker 1: that he kel She had him at ninety seven percent win. Yes,
- 14:39Speaker 1: and I'd like to say that Kelsh was wrong.
- 14:43Speaker 2: It was right. Yeah, yes, it ended.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Up being a squeaker. Now, obviously kel She was right
- 14:51Speaker 1: in the sense that everyone had brought him to win one,
- 14:55Speaker 1: but the odds ended up being horribly up.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, seven cents tells you there's no point and it's over.
- 15:03Speaker 1: But it was, and I think people need to take
- 15:09Speaker 1: that into account because it is the first election for
- 15:12Speaker 1: Kelshi that they have been so far off off right.
- 15:17Speaker 1: All the other election numbers they are almost right, like
- 15:22Speaker 1: ninety nine percent of the time, let alone being so
- 15:26Speaker 1: far off. So I thought that was very interesting point
- 15:30Speaker 1: that out.
- 15:31Speaker 2: But that also tells a lot of the people betting
- 15:33Speaker 2: into that market did not did not expect it to
- 15:37Speaker 2: be that close at all. You don't get the ninety
- 15:41Speaker 2: seven percent nobody betting anybody else and thinking that's like
- 15:46Speaker 2: an hour into it. After the balls close, everyone's conceding
- 15:50Speaker 2: that did not happen there.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Yeah, nope, yeah, but we'll see what I listen. I
- 15:55Speaker 1: love this Kelshi. I think the stuff was great. I'm
- 15:57Speaker 1: so glad we talked about it. Okay, we've got lots
- 16:00Speaker 1: of shows still to come. Hit the like button, subscribe
- 16:03Speaker 1: to our channel. We got big art the season news
- 16:06Speaker 1: coming your way, maybe ten days, two weeks away from
- 16:09Speaker 1: announcing it. We still are going to do something called
- 16:13Speaker 1: the NFL Awards. I guess we're going to be talking
- 16:15Speaker 1: about betting on that. Our CFB win totals and our
- 16:19Speaker 1: MLB rundown still to come. Joe let's take care of
- 16:22Speaker 1: some business, my brother. I have won my last three
- 16:27Speaker 1: baseball plays. That is correct, three in a row. I
- 16:30Speaker 1: released one a day. I have one up today. I'm
- 16:33Speaker 1: seeing baseball really good right now. Let's grab it together
- 16:36Speaker 1: and win. Other than that, I'm just studying all college
- 16:42Speaker 1: football right now, Joe, what do you got going?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Locked and loaded player is ready to go over
- 16:47Speaker 2: at my page at wager talk dot com. We won
- 16:51Speaker 2: the early game yesterday in Baltimore. That was that was fun.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Didn't have to sweat anything else out after that, and
- 16:57Speaker 2: we got one today, one of the late games on
- 17:00Speaker 2: the slate, So that is available over at wagerdal dot com,
- 17:04Speaker 2: as well as a couple of free plays are up also.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Okay, let's get to our NFL awards.
- 17:13Speaker 2: One award I want to talk about based upon art.
- 17:16Speaker 2: We've talked about Coach of the Year, we talked about
- 17:19Speaker 2: offensive and defensive rookies. Well, if you guys noticed yesterday,
- 17:24Speaker 2: the headlines are the return of the running back, because
- 17:28Speaker 2: apparently nothing else matters now. It's amazing how nobody wanted
- 17:32Speaker 2: to pay any running backs, you know, five years ago.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Now they're all guaranteed money. Jamiir Gibbs, Robinson. I mean,
- 17:41Speaker 2: you go down the list here. So my question Art
- 17:44Speaker 2: in the NFL awards is who is the offensive Player
- 17:47Speaker 2: of the year because Jamier Gibbs right now, guess what
- 17:51Speaker 2: up at the top of this here, So a running
- 17:53Speaker 2: back is going to be your This was usually a
- 17:56Speaker 2: quarterback award, wasn't it, Art.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Yeah, A lot of the times it could have been
- 18:03Speaker 3: even like the second quarterback, maybe one quarterback one MVP.
- 18:06Speaker 3: They gave the second quarterback the Offensive Player of the Year.
- 18:10Speaker 4: But this has now.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Turned into a running back receiver award because those positions
- 18:14Speaker 3: cannot win the MVP, so you have to award those
- 18:18Speaker 3: guys in this market. Yeah, it probably is a running back.
- 18:22Speaker 3: It's probably, like you said, a Bijon or Gibbs. I
- 18:25Speaker 3: like to look to the receivers as well, someone like
- 18:27Speaker 3: maybe a Puka or even a JSN who I think
- 18:30Speaker 3: was the guy who won last year. Jamar Chase is
- 18:32Speaker 3: always going to be very popular in that market as well.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I'd like to jump in.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Sorry, I'm looking on who else is so Jonathan, I'm
- 18:46Speaker 2: gonna tell you who else that I'm gonna tell you
- 18:48Speaker 2: I think as the best value here, and that is
- 18:52Speaker 2: James Cook twenty two hundred.
- 18:55Speaker 1: They got a new offensive coordinator. He's a run guy.
- 19:01Speaker 1: James Cook is as good a running back as any
- 19:03Speaker 1: running back in the league. Uh, and I think their
- 19:07Speaker 1: offense is going to really avor him. I was sent
- 19:12Speaker 1: on on Kelsey or plus twenty two hundred on DraftKings
- 19:16Speaker 1: for I'll take James Cook, thank you?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, and again, this can only go off
- 19:22Speaker 2: from the year once the season starts. Uh, Chase is good.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I think Poka the coup is interesting, although they have
- 19:30Speaker 2: so many different weapons. What about Justin Jefferson? Does he
- 19:34Speaker 2: does it matter? No? No, you're not maning it.
- 19:37Speaker 4: The situation's awful, it really is.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I'll tell you if you if you take Cook to
- 19:44Speaker 1: win Offensive Player of the Year and Josh Allen at
- 19:47Speaker 1: plus six hundred for MVP, you're winning one of those
- 19:51Speaker 1: bets in my opinion.
- 19:53Speaker 2: And what else does the Colts have besides Jonathan Taylor? Oh?
- 19:58Speaker 4: Nothing, I mean, but that's it.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, because he could lead him the receive you know,
- 20:05Speaker 2: okay't Taylor here? No, I do.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And plus I mean Jonathan Taylor And we talked about
- 20:10Speaker 1: this a lot. He's like a minute away from falling
- 20:14Speaker 1: up a cliff.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Yeah, twenty seven. Now this is his second contract, his
- 20:19Speaker 2: second guarantee contract.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I'm not interested in him there. I'd be more interested
- 20:24Speaker 1: in McCaffrey, to be honest with you, because if st
- 20:26Speaker 1: Fran gets through that division.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Man, it's gonna be a yeah. Can he stay healthy
- 20:32Speaker 2: enough to get it done? What about sa Quah?
- 20:34Speaker 1: No?
- 20:35Speaker 2: Wow, Look at somebody's neighbor. Somebodys are maybe CD That
- 20:42Speaker 2: entire offense is back for Dallas, So that's interesting too. Yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 2: he's you know, they're gonna throw the ball a lot.
- 20:51Speaker 2: But Gibbs, even at thirteen cents, that's all you're ever
- 20:54Speaker 2: gonna hear about with Detroit this year is premier Gibbs.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Now, I and somebody asked me, who would you draft
- 21:01Speaker 1: number one in a running back heavy fantasy league? And
- 21:04Speaker 1: I said, I would draft Jamar Gibbs over anybody else.
- 21:07Speaker 2: No Montgomery, He's in Houston. No Montgomery.
- 21:11Speaker 1: But but but what you got to take into account
- 21:13Speaker 1: with James, with Gibbs is that he's he's a runner,
- 21:17Speaker 1: a catcher. He runs inside, he runs outside, and he
- 21:21Speaker 1: scores touchdowns. He's a perfect fantasy player. Yep, it's now
- 21:26Speaker 1: going to be how improved is that O line? But
- 21:29Speaker 1: speaking of Jamar Gibbs and Detroit Dan Campbell plus twenty
- 21:34Speaker 1: five hundred for Coach of the Year, that feels like
- 21:38Speaker 1: val guys.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Yep, yeah, I said the same thing when we talked
- 21:43Speaker 4: about it.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yep, yep, yeah, yeah. And I think all of that
- 21:46Speaker 2: will be related, you know, to your point here, Yep.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I wouldn't kill me. Bron would not shock me either.
- 21:53Speaker 2: But again, to me, this isn't about seeing it through.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I just which one of these guys a receiver doing this?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Guys, I don't see a receiver winning this award.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know it's all there's gonna be a
- 22:06Speaker 2: weekend where Jamar Chase is gonna have three touchdowns or
- 22:09Speaker 2: Pooka the co is gonna have three times, right, and
- 22:12Speaker 2: then all of a sudden their number is gonna go
- 22:14Speaker 2: from you know, eight cents to twenty cents in a heartbeat. Especially,
- 22:19Speaker 2: they gotta have the right court. If I'm going to receiver,
- 22:22Speaker 2: which one of these receivers has the best quarterback, it's
- 22:25Speaker 2: gotta be Joe Burrow.
- 22:26Speaker 1: No, bruh, Joe. Yeah, I agree with you, and I'm
- 22:30Speaker 1: expecting and you know this because I've told you about
- 22:32Speaker 1: my I think Cincinnati is going to be a strong
- 22:35Speaker 1: team this year. I'm expecting Burrow to do great. Speaking
- 22:39Speaker 1: of this, what about look at these MVP and Super
- 22:44Speaker 1: Bowl winners, Cincinnati and Joe Burrow winning the MVP at
- 22:48Speaker 1: plus MVP at plus five thousand. Jesus, those are one
- 22:53Speaker 1: of those bets where you just got to get that
- 22:55Speaker 1: team in out then you've got it head.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Yeah, the next regular season MVP.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Uh, that's a great question. It just says MVP and
- 23:08Speaker 1: Super Bowl winv No. I think it's regular season MVP MVP.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that would make sense at that price.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Philadelphia to win the Super Bowl and Saque to
- 23:20Speaker 1: win the m v P plus one hundred thousand. I
- 23:24Speaker 1: think maybe you should throw a buck on that one.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I throw a buck. I can what How is that
- 23:32Speaker 1: even possible?
- 23:33Speaker 3: Because running backs can't win MVP. If he didn't win
- 23:35Speaker 3: two years ago, he's never.
- 23:37Speaker 4: Going to win the MVP.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah, right, that makes sense.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Those are you got to be a quarterback in that market?
- 23:47Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Bo next Denver plus fifteen thousand?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Ye wow? Okay, what else Joseph said? Let's go to
- 23:56Speaker 2: college football?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Okay, aren't you want to go first.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Sure, absolutely, I'm gonna start. We're gonna be positive today.
- 24:05Speaker 3: We've been negative the last couple here. I'm gonna take
- 24:07Speaker 3: Syracuse over four and a half wins minus one fifteen
- 24:10Speaker 3: of both MGM and Caesars. Listen fran Brown, this is
- 24:14Speaker 3: his third year. He won ten in his first. Had
- 24:16Speaker 3: a disasters yere last year, but the quarterback was hurt.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Angelly got hurt in the fourth game against Clemson. I
- 24:22Speaker 3: think him coming back that offense will be stabilized again.
- 24:25Speaker 3: But to me, what really helps is their defense. They
- 24:28Speaker 3: bring in the defensive coordinator ste Vince Carries from Toledo.
- 24:32Speaker 3: They were the number two defense in the country last year.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Obviously the defense and the competition is going to have
- 24:38Speaker 3: a step up here playing in the ACC, but six
- 24:41Speaker 3: of their nine top tacklers returned. Syracuse was like one
- 24:44Speaker 3: to twenty eight in defense last year, so the defense
- 24:46Speaker 3: won't prove When you look at the schedule, it's hard,
- 24:50Speaker 3: but all their hard games are at home. You remember
- 24:52Speaker 3: a couple of years ago with cam Ward, they beat Miami,
- 24:55Speaker 3: upset them in the Carrier Dome. I expect them to
- 24:57Speaker 3: have one or two of those type of wins and
- 24:59Speaker 3: then they take care of a couple of those easy
- 25:01Speaker 3: games early. You only got to get the five wins.
- 25:04Speaker 3: So Syracuse over four and a half wins.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Here you go, Joe, I'm gonna take Florida over seven
- 25:14Speaker 1: and a half wins. That's right. The Florida Gators to
- 25:17Speaker 1: win eight or more in college football this year. And
- 25:21Speaker 1: this is the bottom line. I get that the schedule
- 25:24Speaker 1: is difficult, and why shouldn't it be given the conference
- 25:27Speaker 1: they play in, But this Gator team has an excellent roster.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Their defensive line will be among the best in the nation.
- 25:36Speaker 1: The Florida they're bringing back starters from their back seven.
- 25:39Speaker 1: They fortified that unit. The quartet of defensive backs they
- 25:43Speaker 1: receive from the Portal are great. Offensively, they are loaded.
- 25:49Speaker 1: They arguably have one of the best running backs in
- 25:51Speaker 1: the entire country. Their receiving corps Wilson Brown Singleton junior,
- 25:56Speaker 1: maybe one of the top five wide receiver trios in
- 25:59Speaker 1: the league. They're bringing back starters on their O line.
- 26:02Speaker 1: They grabbed four great O line guys from the portal.
- 26:07Speaker 1: But they do have one big question mark and that
- 26:10Speaker 1: is their quarterback, Aaron ilo Ken. He be average. That's
- 26:14Speaker 1: all we want here. If he is an average quarterback,
- 26:19Speaker 1: they make a huge offensive jump. This is a team
- 26:22Speaker 1: that was ranked ninety first nationally last season in yards
- 26:25Speaker 1: per play. They are going to improve that by leaps
- 26:29Speaker 1: and bounds. And on top of all of that, they
- 26:32Speaker 1: have a new offensive coordinator, Buster Faulkner. He comes from
- 26:36Speaker 1: Georgia Tech. He's a big play calling upgrade. I'm excited
- 26:41Speaker 1: about Laurena this year. Go Gators. I think they win
- 26:44Speaker 1: more than seven and a half games. Take them for
- 26:49Speaker 1: over seven and a half. That's where I'm at, Joe,
- 26:51Speaker 1: what do you like?
- 26:52Speaker 2: I like that. And that kid, Dallas Wilson two is
- 26:55Speaker 2: going to be an absolute monster, absolute monster and a
- 26:58Speaker 2: great name. Yeah, also very good. All right, we are
- 27:02Speaker 2: gonna go where else? Notre Dame? Why well, Notre Dame?
- 27:07Speaker 2: What they win ten games I think last year, So
- 27:11Speaker 2: if their I believe their win total is eleven and
- 27:15Speaker 2: a half this year. And why in the world would
- 27:18Speaker 2: the Irish why would you not play the over Yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 2: it seems like a lot. They'll need to win twelve games,
- 27:24Speaker 2: but they're not in a conference. They get to choose
- 27:27Speaker 2: their schedule, and the schedule once again is pretty ridiculous.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Here they do return what fourteen starters from a year ago,
- 27:37Speaker 2: and they've got maybe when a lot of people are
- 27:40Speaker 2: starting a rumor to be maybe the Heisman winner at quarterback. Here,
- 27:47Speaker 2: we know the defense is going to be good. They
- 27:50Speaker 2: only play three teams I think that are going to
- 27:53Speaker 2: start the season rank Two of those three games Miami
- 27:58Speaker 2: and SMU going to be at home. So who are
- 28:04Speaker 2: we kidding here? This is every year Notre Dame is
- 28:06Speaker 2: going to guarantee themselves ten eleven, twelve wins. There is
- 28:09Speaker 2: no reason, especially with SMU and Miami at home this year,
- 28:13Speaker 2: there is no reason to think they can't rattle off
- 28:15Speaker 2: every win, go right down the schedule and then we'll
- 28:19Speaker 2: be especially since they were screwed last year, or at
- 28:22Speaker 2: least they think they were screwed when Miami got into
- 28:25Speaker 2: the playoff ahead of them. So over eleven and a
- 28:28Speaker 2: half wins, they'll run the table and win twelve art
- 28:32Speaker 2: Notre Dame would not shock me, especially with that cupcake schedule.
- 28:38Speaker 4: They better do it this year.
- 28:40Speaker 2: They got everybody back. That entire team is back, so
- 28:44Speaker 2: that's going to be must be nice. Not having to
- 28:47Speaker 2: play a big ten or an SEC schedule must be nice.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Must be nice. You know what else is not playing
- 28:55Speaker 1: that schedule?
- 28:57Speaker 2: Me? Yeah, that's a good point.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Okay, I'm playing Gulf today though. I'm excited about that
- 29:02Speaker 1: Royal Stovill. Here come, I get to pass Alton John's house.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You know Alton John lives up in Toronto.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Did not know that? Yeah? So did I.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Why doesn't it surprise you, Joe?
- 29:16Speaker 2: It does? What does that even mean? I thought he
- 29:18Speaker 2: lived in Vegas, but I guess not no home. Oh,
- 29:24Speaker 2: I thought that.
- 29:26Speaker 1: His primary No, his primary residence and where he lives
- 29:31Speaker 1: is just north of Toronto in a city called Stovel. Okay,
- 29:35Speaker 1: Joseph mlb Rundown. We'll get back to our mailback section
- 29:39Speaker 1: next week.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Talk to me all right, So we'll go round table
- 29:43Speaker 2: here quick. Mets Pirates, Uh, Pirates can't win a game,
- 29:47Speaker 2: Mets can't lose a game. I'm gonna go with the
- 29:50Speaker 2: Pirates in this one because I'm not buying the Mets.
- 29:53Speaker 2: How about the Phillies and the Blue Jays. Sorriano on
- 29:55Speaker 2: the mound for Toronto, Zach Wheeler for the Phillies not
- 29:59Speaker 2: laying two dollars art? What do you think?
- 30:03Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:03Speaker 3: I mean, listen, we said it yesterday. The Phillies are
- 30:06Speaker 3: gonna be popular in all the parlays. This will be
- 30:09Speaker 3: again today that the Phillies are popular in the parlays.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Books will need the other side.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yeah, they will. Braves and Atlanta art. What are you
- 30:17Speaker 2: thinking Molly versus Freed?
- 30:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I would lean Braves here.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's that Yankee stadium. I think the red sticking
- 30:30Speaker 2: on the Natzka Valley is going for the Nats here today.
- 30:34Speaker 2: And let's face it, he's the only pitcher they have
- 30:36Speaker 2: left that you can trust. Red Sox just played thirteen
- 30:39Speaker 2: innings last night. They got the Athletics coming in. Tolly's
- 30:43Speaker 2: on the mound versus Perkins. Everybody pitched last night art
- 30:48Speaker 2: in that game. Kind of hard not to look at it. Yes,
- 30:50Speaker 2: it's actually easy not to look at the Athletics. I'll
- 30:54Speaker 2: take the Red Sox on the run line. What do
- 30:56Speaker 2: you think?
- 30:57Speaker 4: Yeah? Even first five byenus a half love it.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Angels and the Marlins. The Marlins just got swept by Atlanta.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Good news is their home against the Angels.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a big price. I think that's why
- 31:10Speaker 3: the Sharps took the Angels. Like, who are the Marlins
- 31:12Speaker 3: to be laying overnight minus one sixty minus one sixty
- 31:15Speaker 3: five in no position to be laying that number.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I agree, Guardians taking all Guardians can't win the game.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Mets swept them White Socks. You couldn't win a game
- 31:23Speaker 2: against Boston, and now the White Sox, who didn't land
- 31:27Speaker 2: until three o'clock in the morning last night from that game.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Schultz versus Messic. I like the Guardians, even though I
- 31:33Speaker 2: don't know where the runs are coming from. Twins and Brewers.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Anybody gonna beat the Brewers at home mark.
- 31:39Speaker 3: No, And I mean listen, the Twins got the game
- 31:41Speaker 3: that they needed last night because we talked about that
- 31:43Speaker 3: was a must win. Couldn't get swept in Kansas City
- 31:46Speaker 3: because now they were going to Milwaukee.
- 31:47Speaker 4: But you gotta leaan Milwaukee, all right.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Dodgers Diamondbacks, Art Sazaki versus Merril Kelly in Arizona.
- 31:54Speaker 3: What are you thinking every dollar's going to be on
- 31:57Speaker 3: the Dodgers, especially with all the parlays. They are not
- 32:00Speaker 3: playing good baseball right now. Obviously, Diamondbacks still fighting to
- 32:03Speaker 3: make the wild card here. I think they're up one
- 32:06Speaker 3: game on San Diego. Honestly, I'm gonna ride the street
- 32:10Speaker 3: I'm gonna lean Arizona.
- 32:12Speaker 2: There you go. There is your Major League Baseball Rundown Prez.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Wonderful job boys, thanks for doing this with me. It's Friday, guys,
- 32:20Speaker 1: have yourself a wonderful, amazing, superb money making week end.
