- 0:38Speaker 1: I'm a dooer?
- 0:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made Bill Vegan.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I me you're listening to the Sports
- 0:47Speaker 1: Shock Show. I am the Sports Shock Winge Gandy. Good
- 0:51Speaker 1: morning to you out there and listening. Lang glad to
- 0:54Speaker 1: be here with you. I got my band of merry
- 0:57Speaker 1: men in the studio today and they are ready to go.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Emotions are high. We got a lot of emotional topics
- 1:05Speaker 1: out there. Now listen. There's gonna be some rules to
- 1:08Speaker 1: this cause, some things gonna be said. Some people are
- 1:12Speaker 1: you know, aren't gonna agree. But let's keep this on
- 1:16Speaker 1: a non personal agenda today. I know that's hard to
- 1:22Speaker 1: ask of the United States citizen in twenty twenty six.
- 1:27Speaker 1: All conversations, all actions are taken in a personal way.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It's hard to divide emotion away from logic. So here
- 1:40Speaker 1: on the show, today and you out there listening, even
- 1:44Speaker 1: in your comments, I don't want your emotional response. I never,
- 1:52Speaker 1: actually never want your emotional response. If you want to
- 1:55Speaker 1: talk to me, I want what's fair and tilts to
- 2:00Speaker 1: write more than what benefits you and expresses your emotion.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Now, that's gonna be hard to do, especially with these
- 2:11Speaker 3: salt t old sea bass I have on.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The shoulder me. I mean need some old crabs, old
- 2:19Speaker 1: lobsters up in here. And if you don't know, you know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: the sweet lobsters are at the one and a half
- 2:26Speaker 1: two pounds. You get over two pounds, that meat ain't
- 2:29Speaker 1: as sweet. That's why they always making some kind of
- 2:33Speaker 1: stuff lobster crab with the old ones, because you gotta
- 2:39Speaker 1: get some flavor young ones. And people never knew that.
- 2:43Speaker 1: A lot of people, trust me. They're out there listening
- 2:45Speaker 1: acting like they already knew that. Yeah, man, come to
- 2:47Speaker 1: the table. I got some three pounders. Yeah, I bet
- 2:50Speaker 1: you do that old meat. Give me two of them
- 2:53Speaker 1: one pounders then just now, don't give you none of
- 2:56Speaker 1: that old meat. Some that fresh meat. Old lopster been
- 3:00Speaker 1: out there forever. How long did it take a lobster
- 3:03Speaker 1: to turn three?
- 3:06Speaker 3: Long?
- 3:06Speaker 5: Time?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Long time. They don't. They don't. They don't have no age.
- 3:12Speaker 1: All their ages. Uh, the gorilla family and dog family, cats,
- 3:18Speaker 1: they don't get to the ocean. They don't know how
- 3:20Speaker 1: long that that well been out there, he said, been there? No, man,
- 3:24Speaker 1: they just know that turl he's three hundred pounds. They
- 3:27Speaker 1: don't know how long it take a turtle to get
- 3:29Speaker 1: We don't live long enough. Turtle been there forever, prehistoric.
- 3:33Speaker 1: That's why I look like that. Probably they just throw
- 3:37Speaker 1: a date on saying, you know, not long that lobster
- 3:39Speaker 1: lost it was that there. They don't know how long
- 3:40Speaker 1: that's that might be a you know, it's like the doctor.
- 3:44Speaker 1: He didn't believe I was fifteen. I was in a
- 3:45Speaker 1: car accident. They took me to the hospital. I thought
- 3:49Speaker 1: I had a concussion. Young man, and I'm sitting there
- 3:53Speaker 1: telling him, no, Doc, I'm fifteen. That he's whispering through
- 3:57Speaker 1: the nurse, moting three pounds. I know that back in time. No,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm fifteen, man, I'm now moting three pounds right there.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I know old meet when I see it, I'm two
- 4:10Speaker 1: forty five, but you know, yeah, I'm fifteen. Get the
- 4:14Speaker 1: white jacket. They called him my grandmama in there. You know,
- 4:18Speaker 1: my mom was at work, so they called my grandmother.
- 4:21Speaker 1: She come in. She's trying to tell them, and you know,
- 4:24Speaker 1: they think that snuff got her messed up. So I'm
- 4:27Speaker 1: lying and she lined like, man, I'm under age, Man,
- 4:31Speaker 1: let me get some help. And they just didn't believe it.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Command your grand because you know you don't run into
- 4:37Speaker 1: six four two forty five at fifteen a lot. I
- 4:40Speaker 1: guess no, no, back then, you know it's a little
- 4:43Speaker 1: more common now. Yeah, I was going to get a mazed.
- 4:46Speaker 1: They got more than every day about thirteen. Nick Saban already, guys,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I on the seventh grade football rally. They found them
- 4:56Speaker 1: early now. But okay, guys, so everybody committing to the No,
- 5:01Speaker 1: we have one of our own in a little trouble here.
- 5:03Speaker 1: We're gonna start there. Because the emotion was high, Commanding
- 5:06Speaker 1: Grade was getting worried. Sent me a little text telling out, man,
- 5:09Speaker 1: do we need to leave Big Kenny the bad producer.
- 5:13Speaker 1: As you know, he always can get the fire started.
- 5:16Speaker 1: You don't want to go about getting no wood to
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep it going, but he will get it started. Say
- 5:20Speaker 1: he ain't gonna care no wood, but he had throw
- 5:23Speaker 1: that little bit of liquid on it. Cal High School
- 5:25Speaker 1: baseball coach Todd Harris, a gentleman that has helped us
- 5:28Speaker 1: out on our show with the Baseball Report. Great guy
- 5:31Speaker 1: from everything that we've ever worked with him, getting in
- 5:35Speaker 1: a little trouble here. His high school team will be
- 5:39Speaker 1: in the state finals this Saturday, Kale playing Rome, No
- 5:46Speaker 1: Little for Conye Okay North or Coney in Rome will
- 5:51Speaker 1: be the four to eight Yes Sir for the four
- 5:54Speaker 1: eight state championship in baseball. But back on May sixth,
- 6:00Speaker 1: coach Harris, Todd Harris was pulled over at one am,
- 6:04Speaker 1: charged with DUI failure to maintain lane and obstruction people
- 6:11Speaker 1: in the community, just like within the district and through
- 6:15Speaker 1: the school system. Cartersville High School that area that's the
- 6:20Speaker 1: home of Trevor Lawrence, Ronnie Brown, some great football players
- 6:24Speaker 1: up there. It's discussing what to do with the Longhorn
- 6:32Speaker 1: baseball coach Big Kenny emotional standing on his business that
- 6:40Speaker 1: let's keep it on. Then Fraction the bad producer. As
- 6:45Speaker 1: you know if you follow this show, things are only
- 6:50Speaker 1: wrong if it's implicated on someone that he doesn't like. Yeah,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that's how he kind of lebron James. It's only wrong
- 7:04Speaker 1: if is somebody he done life, is one of his people,
- 7:08Speaker 1: is kind of right he wants charges and wait, my
- 7:12Speaker 1: thing is I'm gonna tell you my opinion off the jump. Guys,
- 7:16Speaker 1: if Todd as a coach wants to set a president
- 7:19Speaker 1: for his players and he knows that he was drinking
- 7:24Speaker 1: and driving without a police report, without going to court,
- 7:28Speaker 1: he should step away from coaching his team. He should
- 7:35Speaker 1: man up, own his responsibility, send a signal to his players.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Because the first question I had, Comanche, was that if
- 7:48Speaker 1: one of Todd's players had got pulled over for DUI,
- 7:55Speaker 1: does he get suspended? Does he miss the next game?
- 7:58Speaker 1: At least typically that's how we typically see it in
- 8:04Speaker 1: our sports world.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 8:07Speaker 1: They don't do a whole thing of pending no, no,
- 8:12Speaker 1: and that, And it would be most of the time
- 8:14Speaker 1: a team imposed a team imposed suspension regardless of what happens.
- 8:21Speaker 1: That's what happens, so bad, Producer Big Kenny Comanche. That's
- 8:26Speaker 1: where I see a case like this, for especially a
- 8:30Speaker 1: high school official, that to me, Todd should step up
- 8:38Speaker 1: because d U I s d U Y. Let's let's
- 8:41Speaker 1: be honest. You know, if you were drinking or not.
- 8:45Speaker 1: That's not subjective. You're figuring a way to hire a
- 8:49Speaker 1: high price attorney to get it off, to make it
- 8:52Speaker 1: seem like no I was not does not take away
- 8:56Speaker 1: that you had that moscow, you drunk that tequila. You
- 9:03Speaker 1: know these charges are right, and that's what a baseball coach,
- 9:08Speaker 1: that's what a coach it's supposed to stand up and be.
- 9:14Speaker 1: In my opinion, babytoos, you're gonna have to stop with
- 9:17Speaker 1: the hand movement. You're very distracting. If what I'm saying
- 9:22Speaker 1: is boring to you, please fowl your chair and lead.
- 9:25Speaker 1: He don't agree, He don't agree with that accountability. But
- 9:29Speaker 1: doing this year for the whole six minutes of like that,
- 9:34Speaker 1: that is very distracting. And when you get the chance
- 9:42Speaker 1: to talk, we're gonna all just keep moving stuff like
- 9:44Speaker 1: we're not actually paying attention to you. This is something
- 9:52Speaker 1: you brought me until thirty minutes ago. I hadn't seen
- 9:57Speaker 1: this store, didn't know about it, didn't know about it.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You asked me, are we gonna talk about Todd? No
- 10:02Speaker 1: I as you was questioning whether I would throw Todd
- 10:05Speaker 1: on the rot hissory and boy, will I cajun season
- 10:10Speaker 1: anybody that's what we're in, right, even myself, Yeah, I
- 10:16Speaker 1: thought that was I thought it was you have to
- 10:19Speaker 1: hold yourself accountable and all those around you. I'm not
- 10:22Speaker 1: telling you Todd's a bad guy. Did I say Tod's
- 10:23Speaker 1: a bad guy? Now? I said, Todd coaches his team,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and right now the whole question for a lot of
- 10:30Speaker 1: people is should he be coaching under the suspicion of
- 10:32Speaker 1: DUI Todd knows whether he was drinking or not? Would
- 10:39Speaker 1: he not? He would? Okay, he would, So the whole
- 10:44Speaker 1: get out of it. The bad producer's point, if I
- 10:46Speaker 1: was listening because I was ear hustling, was that, well,
- 10:50Speaker 1: they haven't proven it yet, and I'm gonna go get
- 10:54Speaker 1: Ben Crump to find me an angle to get me off.
- 11:04Speaker 1: But getting me off does not erase that I didn't
- 11:07Speaker 1: do what they said. And my second question, as I
- 11:13Speaker 1: alluded to, if this has been a player under Todd
- 11:19Speaker 1: and that kill high school with whoever, the police would
- 11:22Speaker 1: have called him, like I have commandchie Gregg down here, Todd.
- 11:26Speaker 3: We pulled him over for d u Y Dewey one am,
- 11:32Speaker 3: middle of the night. I might get kicked off the team.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Exactly. But he feels because Todd is his guy. That
- 11:43Speaker 1: that step should be until Todd. So basically he wants
- 11:46Speaker 1: this to run on till Todd wins his championship and
- 11:51Speaker 1: then allow I have a question.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Sure I am not familiar with Todd. It is Todd Black. Yes, okay,
- 12:02Speaker 3: that explains no, no for you to say that, that explains.
- 12:10Speaker 1: With more to sports Shock'll let these guys were you
- 12:12Speaker 1: in because they were very emotional right after this reach
- 12:19Speaker 1: the gate.
- 12:25Speaker 6: At on the wait the seat, don't go Awayne Born
- 12:30Speaker 6: of the Sports John Show with Wayne Dan videos coming
- 12:33Speaker 6: up next.

- 13:44Speaker 8: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Hey, hey, we're so excited for tonight.
- 13:49Speaker 9: Before we come over, though, may ask if there are
- 13:51Speaker 9: any unlocked guns in your home.
- 13:53Speaker 10: Our guns are stored securely, locked in a safe that
- 13:56Speaker 10: the kids can't access.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Awesome.

- 14:37Speaker 1: And now back to the sports. John Wayne Gandy.
- 14:42Speaker 7: The Jock of the Day is sponsored by Mattress HEROESUSA

- 14:47Speaker 1: You can afford.
- 14:49Speaker 12: No, no, no, no.
- 14:49Speaker 7: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 14:52Speaker 7: on the Sports jocksh.
- 14:54Speaker 13: Just taken it to a completely different level.
- 14:56Speaker 7: This year, where we highlight an accolade that has taken
- 14:59Speaker 7: their game to the next level.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Sticking take him, give it up, give it, give it up,
- 15:09Speaker 3: give it up, give it.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Give give it up, give it Welcome back to this boy,
- 15:18Speaker 1: shot shot. I'm this hooy shock Wayne Can He was
- 15:20Speaker 1: gonna ride a little bigger today. He would have been
- 15:22Speaker 1: fifty five if he was still around. Left us said
- 15:27Speaker 1: about twenty seven, twenty seventy four, twenty four okay, okay,
- 15:32Speaker 1: so right in there, I think what he was like
- 15:34Speaker 1: he was one of those like a week or two
- 15:37Speaker 1: from his birthday. When is something like that where he
- 15:39Speaker 1: was a couple months from his birthday. Right, he'd been
- 15:41Speaker 1: twenty five, So almost thirty thirty plus years Biggie has
- 15:45Speaker 1: been gone. We were talking about cal High School baseball coach.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Just to put a bow on that, Todd Harris, who
- 15:53Speaker 1: is And hopefully I can figure out a way, but
- 15:56Speaker 1: I know too, eighty five is blocked. How to get
- 15:58Speaker 1: the wrong be a long way with the traffic round
- 16:02Speaker 1: here to get there. It's way up there. I've called
- 16:04Speaker 1: a football game Rome High School last year up in
- 16:09Speaker 1: North Georgia, but Todd Harris baseball coach up there. Cobb
- 16:14Speaker 1: County School District say they are aware the incident that
- 16:17Speaker 1: the district's human resources department is addressing the matter that
- 16:22Speaker 1: stems from a DUI arrests about two weeks ago where
- 16:27Speaker 1: Todd got put over one a m on different charges
- 16:32Speaker 1: and really just real quick, we were talking about how
- 16:36Speaker 1: this should be handled. Big Kinney standing on the side
- 16:41Speaker 1: of that DUI is a total incident that can be avoided. Yeah,
- 16:51Speaker 1: like you have total control over avoiding d UI. Would
- 16:56Speaker 1: you say that's correct? Comanch you great, yes, yes, okay,
- 17:02Speaker 1: so Todd could have completely avoided this, correct, right, Bad
- 17:06Speaker 1: producers point is basically, let Todd live, let him finish up.
- 17:11Speaker 1: There should be no consequences to this. We've all kind of,
- 17:17Speaker 1: at least two of us at the sentiment that if
- 17:19Speaker 1: this happened to a player, we've saw we've seen quick
- 17:23Speaker 1: action by the coaches, by the team, regardless of the law.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Bad producer, Todd Harris, your boy. You introduced this to
- 17:33Speaker 1: him as a baseball analyst. Tell him why you mad son? Now,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I'm not mad.
- 17:43Speaker 14: First of all, I want to say congratulations to this team.
- 17:46Speaker 14: The young man has earned the trip to the state championship.
- 17:50Speaker 14: But secondly, it was a it's a bad situation just
- 17:54Speaker 14: on a personal matters. Not going to details, but unfortunately,
- 17:59Speaker 14: like say, you want to lead by example when you
- 18:02Speaker 14: are the captain of the ship, when you are the captain.
- 18:05Speaker 14: But my thing is at this time, I'm going by
- 18:10Speaker 14: what his employers and what everyone else is saying.
- 18:13Speaker 1: That's the only thing.
- 18:14Speaker 14: I'm just like, I know the situation, we shouldn't have
- 18:18Speaker 14: and we shouldn't this, but we're gonna let's let it
- 18:20Speaker 14: run out. Let it run his course. Just like anything else,
- 18:23Speaker 14: we always say, let's let a story breathe before we
- 18:26Speaker 14: actually start putting gas on it.
- 18:28Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna let it breathe. So when you're
- 18:30Speaker 1: so by saying that let me hear, let me probably
- 18:33Speaker 1: tell you what people that are hearing your voice saying.
- 18:36Speaker 1: You're saying that Todd is unaware of whether he had
- 18:44Speaker 1: been drinking or not.
- 18:46Speaker 3: No, I'm not saying that because I well, I'm telling
- 18:48Speaker 3: you what we're hearing, and what you're saying, that's that's
- 18:53Speaker 3: what you that.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Don't mean everybody's hearing what I'm saying. They may be hearing. Guys,
- 18:57Speaker 1: what are you hearing on the side of your mic?
- 18:59Speaker 1: Please and don't let me influence what you are hearing
- 19:03Speaker 1: as he is telling you let it play out. And
- 19:08Speaker 1: this is when I hear let.
- 19:10Speaker 12: It play out, especially when we are talking about incidents
- 19:15Speaker 12: that involve courts of law. Now, the thing that I
- 19:21Speaker 12: said earlier in the Sports Jock Relate to our listeners
- 19:25Speaker 12: is that and I truly believe a d UI is
- 19:29Speaker 12: two things. Number One, it's avoidable, and two, it is
- 19:34Speaker 12: not an issue of subjectivity.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I say, I.
- 19:42Speaker 12: Was just visiting you say I was trespassing. Those are
- 19:46Speaker 12: subjective conversations, d Ui, I either blow or don't blow.
- 19:53Speaker 12: And by the law, all of the penalties are automatically
- 19:58Speaker 12: inserted based on whatever actions transpired. Once you pull me over,
- 20:03Speaker 12: now it's avoidable and it's not subjective. So once I
- 20:11Speaker 12: get the DUI and get arrested, I'm arrested.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm not. I wasn't written a citation. I was taken
- 20:17Speaker 1: to jail.
- 20:18Speaker 12: I expect to happen what happens to everybody else under
- 20:23Speaker 12: the law. The rest of that they call bigo treat
- 20:28Speaker 12: The rest of that they call racism. The rest of
- 20:30Speaker 12: that they call nepotism. The rest of that they call
- 20:33Speaker 12: some kind of ism where.
- 20:35Speaker 3: People are treated differently under the law that everybody else.
- 20:40Speaker 3: You're suggesting that Todd received that treatment. All I'm saying
- 20:45Speaker 3: is I understand.
- 20:47Speaker 12: I understand I've received preferential treatment in situations I should
- 20:53Speaker 12: have been totally totally found guilty and face penalty, And
- 20:58Speaker 12: I know I was wrong. Part of being wrong is accountability.
- 21:03Speaker 12: This man is wrong, and he on the sidelines in
- 21:07Speaker 12: the dugout like you know, it'd be all right, It
- 21:11Speaker 12: be all right, And again in any other situation, people
- 21:15Speaker 12: would be calling for accountability of the example, your by
- 21:19Speaker 12: your words, the captain of the ship. So if I'm
- 21:22Speaker 12: out here just sailing, how I want to how you
- 21:26Speaker 12: gonna get us anywhere? How you gonna navigate your course
- 21:30Speaker 12: later in life, I'm teaching you these things. So whatever
- 21:34Speaker 12: I can get away with, I'm it's okay. I can
- 21:37Speaker 12: get away with it. And it sounds okay when it's
- 21:40Speaker 12: the d u I. But what about it when my
- 21:42Speaker 12: daughter says that somebody did something but she can't prove
- 21:45Speaker 12: it because only he and her were there. We're gonna
- 21:47Speaker 12: watch the letter of the law play out. Then, So
- 21:50Speaker 12: we say, as you say to me, you taking it.
- 21:55Speaker 12: I'm saying, we staying on DUI. We ain't talking about Okay,
- 21:57Speaker 12: well go back to d u I.
- 21:58Speaker 14: So what I'm saying, But what all I'm gonna say
- 22:02Speaker 14: is what you said right back there is back to
- 22:05Speaker 14: what you said.
- 22:06Speaker 1: You took.
- 22:07Speaker 14: You took advantage of a situation where you were able
- 22:09Speaker 14: to get not be charged more or whatever, and you
- 22:13Speaker 14: took advantage of that situation. You let the courts play it,
- 22:16Speaker 14: let the court system play play out. So that's all
- 22:19Speaker 14: I'm saying. Let's let the court if they charge him,
- 22:22Speaker 14: and then he happens to lose his job later on
- 22:25Speaker 14: or down the road. But right now, the apparently the
- 22:28Speaker 14: Cobb County and saying it's a personal matter.
- 22:31Speaker 12: They know about it, and the difference between me and him,
- 22:34Speaker 12: he's a baseball coach. I was a street thug and
- 22:39Speaker 12: admitted criminal.
- 22:41Speaker 3: So I took accountability because I knew accountability was I
- 22:46Speaker 3: was doing with thugs.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Do this, man, it's all the same. So Kel goes
- 22:51Speaker 1: out and they beat North Olk Coney and win the
- 22:54Speaker 1: state championship. Two months from now, the county find out
- 22:59Speaker 1: that Todd will is guilty of d u I. The
- 23:03Speaker 1: county now goes back and takes that championship away from Kale.
- 23:09Speaker 1: And now can we meet you on that? If there's
- 23:12Speaker 1: a path to it? I mean, well, fair is fair? Right?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Come on? Now we wait once its connected, so we
- 23:22Speaker 1: let it. So we let it play out, and then
- 23:24Speaker 1: in the end you were found guilty of d u I,
- 23:28Speaker 1: So retroactively the council out the baseball if there's but
- 23:37Speaker 1: it's no path for that. If there, if there is
- 23:39Speaker 1: a path to it, did we not do that? Don't
- 23:41Speaker 1: we do that?
- 23:42Speaker 15: No?
- 23:42Speaker 14: But it's not no path to that because the schools
- 23:46Speaker 14: already the school's already made county, is.
- 23:49Speaker 1: What I'm saying.
- 23:50Speaker 3: As we go to break if there's a connect, if
- 23:52Speaker 3: they can connect that right, So people like him want
- 23:55Speaker 3: him to skirt. He doesn't hold this against Todd. This
- 23:59Speaker 3: lets me see hard in a different light. You want
- 24:02Speaker 3: man up, you ain't set then, example, you've been preaching
- 24:05Speaker 3: in this dugout about manning up. You skirt it to
- 24:11Speaker 3: You got what you wanted because that's what the bad
- 24:16Speaker 3: producer wants. He wants him to coach Sarday get his championship.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Then go find him a lawyer, figure out how just
- 24:24Speaker 3: to go to traffic school and act like you.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Were not drunk. There is in addiction, we'll be sports
- 24:37Speaker 1: jock right after this horse named Trick. It's rim.
- 24:47Speaker 16: Like this.

- 25:00Speaker 17: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 25:04Speaker 17: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 25:07Speaker 17: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 25:11Speaker 17: Come on, we're smarter than this.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Let's put down the phones and focus on the roads.

- 27:55Speaker 1: Shock riding on? Look at the shirt War There you go,
- 28:04Speaker 1: y'all ready for this segment? Oh y'all y'all, yeah, y'all
- 28:07Speaker 1: want to hold here? No, I mean we're talking about
- 28:13Speaker 1: tell them about you. I'm on my four down about
- 28:19Speaker 1: you made to die? Ready to tell me who.
- 28:28Speaker 6: It was?
- 28:28Speaker 1: Come back around? No sign read need to die, it
- 28:31Speaker 1: would come back around. Game to blame. We'll come back.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I need to know. Game it wasn't interesting. Game two
- 28:41Speaker 1: Nicks Calves tonight Nick Nix came back and one game
- 28:45Speaker 1: one after being twenty two points down the other night.
- 28:49Speaker 1: But Game two is the night between the Calves and
- 28:52Speaker 1: the Knicks.
- 28:54Speaker 12: If we're gonna come up with a sports analogy for
- 28:56Speaker 12: losing a twenty two point advantage.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And getting beat, how bad was that beat? Beat?
- 29:08Speaker 16: Like?
- 29:08Speaker 9: What?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Well?
- 29:11Speaker 3: They went to double overtime. It took just one over
- 29:15Speaker 3: one over time, one over time. That was double double
- 29:17Speaker 3: over time.
- 29:18Speaker 1: That was Spurs. Okay, see in that first game they
- 29:22Speaker 1: went both teams went overtime. Both series went to overtime. Okay,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I mean okay, see Spurs on the first one went
- 29:29Speaker 1: double overtime, twenty two points. They gave up there late
- 29:33Speaker 1: in the game. The Calf came with a lot of
- 29:35Speaker 1: energy and just couldn't seal the deal when you watched them,
- 29:40Speaker 1: and really it looked like as we with all that rests,
- 29:45Speaker 1: they kind of did the ropo dope in a sense.
- 29:48Speaker 21: Just like.
- 29:50Speaker 3: The tired We know y'all just played Sunday. Just in
- 29:55Speaker 3: the game they had enough for three quarters. I'm saying, now,
- 30:00Speaker 3: ball up like this and let you get that and
- 30:05Speaker 3: then you started here and get out of that ruck.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Because they kept talking about going to James Harden, and
- 30:10Speaker 1: James Harden has never been like this great defense. He's
- 30:14Speaker 1: you know, he's always just been middle of the road.
- 30:16Speaker 1: It ain't nothing great about it at best, but middle
- 30:19Speaker 1: of the road. But he was tired there in that
- 30:22Speaker 1: last quarter. He had got real tired. Donovan Mitchell, everybody
- 30:26Speaker 1: looked like they had like was like I'm saying, the
- 30:29Speaker 1: rope of dope. They let him swing and then they
- 30:31Speaker 1: just kind of warm off and attacked them with speed
- 30:35Speaker 1: and was able to come back. But the Knicks looks
- 30:37Speaker 1: like a good series. Everybody is picking the Knicks in
- 30:41Speaker 1: six and there. This OKC Wemby situation with the Spurs
- 30:47Speaker 1: looks like it. It could easily go to seven games
- 30:52Speaker 1: with these two superstars going at it. Shake Gilchris Alexander
- 30:58Speaker 1: versus Victor win min Yamba, uh, you know, giving us
- 31:02Speaker 1: something to see and cheer for. As we always think
- 31:06Speaker 1: when big names leave there won't be anybody to pass
- 31:10Speaker 1: the torch to. All we talk about with that is
- 31:13Speaker 1: really that the people that are looking and grabbing for
- 31:16Speaker 1: the torch the baton are non citizens as far as
- 31:24Speaker 1: they're not citizens of our country at this moment, or
- 31:28Speaker 1: at least nothing I have read. They might have dual
- 31:32Speaker 1: citizenship or something, but they don't even have dual status.
- 31:37Speaker 1: The v friends and you can hear it in that
- 31:40Speaker 1: is from France in Canada, and you can hear it
- 31:45Speaker 1: in importance.
- 31:47Speaker 12: You can hear it in the postgame press conference. He
- 31:50Speaker 12: I'm down here and I'm outside trying to get the
- 31:54Speaker 12: rebound there and then he posits it to me and
- 31:57Speaker 12: my whole team is there.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so you're like, what since uh, Jason Kidd has
- 32:05Speaker 1: been let go by the Mavericks, they just say they're
- 32:07Speaker 1: looking for a new direction. You kind of got that
- 32:09Speaker 1: feel with them trading Luca Jason Kidd. They brought in.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Messii Jerry, who was the president or GM for the
- 32:21Speaker 3: Raptors when they won that championship. I just saw it
- 32:25Speaker 3: as okay, bringing new GM. He probably wants his own guy,
- 32:29Speaker 3: so uh yeah, I want my own coach.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Oh. It works like that all the time, it's about
- 32:38Speaker 1: surviving the regime. Now, it's hard to survive as a
- 32:42Speaker 1: player or a coach, George and vice versa. You know,
- 32:46Speaker 1: anything that changed. We all came in here as a group, right,
- 32:53Speaker 1: we all are the temptations. That's really how it works.
- 32:56Speaker 1: And once one of us go, that opens the door
- 33:00Speaker 1: to a lot of different changes. It's hard to survive
- 33:05Speaker 1: your You have to be in such a position where
- 33:10Speaker 1: to survive a regime change, because that's typically how it happened.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Caitland Clark out last night the Fever game, the Fever
- 33:19Speaker 1: behind Leo Boston winning that game. Caitlin Clark going to
- 33:22Speaker 1: be the Grand Marshall of the Indy five hundred that's
- 33:25Speaker 1: coming up. Excuse me, it's in July.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Whenever the Indy five hundred is coming up, that Memorial
- 33:34Speaker 3: Day week that this weekend is this weekend.
- 33:40Speaker 1: We're surprised by two things.
- 33:42Speaker 12: One thing weekend and to that's this coming sir, and
- 33:47Speaker 12: that the Indian AF five hundred is this weekend. So
- 33:51Speaker 12: we didn't know either one of those things, Memorial Day
- 33:55Speaker 12: or well, I'm saying, just go show how anytime I
- 33:59Speaker 12: hear things like that and I'm surprised by them, I
- 34:02Speaker 12: start thinking about the oversaturational sports. We have so much
- 34:06Speaker 12: to watch now that things that used to be set
- 34:10Speaker 12: pieces in our sports presentations are now just after thoughts.
- 34:17Speaker 12: Indianapolis five hundred if you can you know, Oh, yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 1: That's right. It's this weekend. Oh yeah, that's right.
- 34:24Speaker 12: And this weekend happens to be what's that holiday, Memorial Day?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but we four four day. Did it seem like
- 34:32Speaker 1: they move Memorial Day up or usuallymore? They seemed like
- 34:35Speaker 1: it was like at the last Memorial Day was always
- 34:38Speaker 1: the start of the summer. But I'm talking about the
- 34:40Speaker 1: end of May, like it's always twenty it's always the
- 34:44Speaker 1: last Monday, the last Monday of May. So whatever day
- 34:47Speaker 1: the last Monday, sometimes it is the thirtieth because that's
- 34:51Speaker 1: the last Monday. So whatever day, the last Monday in
- 34:54Speaker 1: May is on a point where it used to be
- 35:00Speaker 1: celebrate everything. It's almost like dessert. Dessert used to be
- 35:05Speaker 1: something that you a typically on the weekend with a meal.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Didn't have dessert throughout Monday through and come with every
- 35:18Speaker 1: meal something that typically and it's the same thing. Past
- 35:21Speaker 1: food used to be something you did later in the week.
- 35:24Speaker 1: It wasn't an everyday stop. And the same thing with holidays.
- 35:29Speaker 1: We celebrate all holidays. We're all longer people schedule things,
- 35:34Speaker 1: And I think that's why even in sports, you see
- 35:36Speaker 1: the people that are in those softer sports, as far
- 35:40Speaker 1: as they make spectacles. That's the only way that really
- 35:45Speaker 1: I got them generated into a spectacle. I got to
- 35:48Speaker 1: use the WWE format and I got to create a
- 35:54Speaker 1: storylines to it all because just having it wrapped people.
- 36:01Speaker 12: Yeah, just just a rapid in competition is not exciting
- 36:04Speaker 12: enough anymore.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's just so many even as a viewer,
- 36:07Speaker 1: that you wanted to stay in that mindset of competitive nature.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Kareem abdu Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neil, Wayne Gretzky,
- 36:18Speaker 1: pat Riley, Oscar dell O Joya, Jerry West, Bob Miller,
- 36:24Speaker 1: Elgin Baylor, Dustin Brown, a lot of the famous names
- 36:31Speaker 1: that Lisa Leslie's gonna get a statue outside the arena
- 36:38Speaker 1: to join the Crypto dot Com Legends. The two time
- 36:43Speaker 1: w NBA champion, Big Kenny's been trying to take some
- 36:49Speaker 1: lessons working in the post, but you know, she hasn't
- 36:53Speaker 1: been available, but he keeps trying to book on an appointment.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I'm a booker too, I'm a booker booking three four
- 37:01Speaker 1: times and she let me. But the great Lisa Leslie
- 37:04Speaker 1: is getting a statue, and well deserved. Why did it
- 37:10Speaker 1: take so long? Well, you have a long list of legends.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Aby the time you had mostly got to the w
- 37:17Speaker 1: n b A legends. These people were legends before. When
- 37:21Speaker 1: you look at the by the time Lisa Leslie even
- 37:25Speaker 1: started playing, Kobe is really the only person that hadn't
- 37:30Speaker 1: already seen it right there, their legacy, Kareem Magic Elgin.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Those guys are on a yacht somewhere talking about the
- 37:39Speaker 1: good old days when you could do cocaine in the
- 37:42Speaker 1: locker rooms. You remember that.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Remember I ain't saying it was right, but I'm just
- 37:49Speaker 3: saying you remember right there, right then, you little easy
- 37:54Speaker 3: and maybe like lt you going hard, ain't you?
- 37:56Speaker 1: I had to worry about yourself? And then you go
- 37:59Speaker 1: out get nine sacks. So when you look at the Liz,
- 38:02Speaker 1: I don't see anyone that would have they had, you
- 38:05Speaker 1: know when in order? That makes sure west the logo
- 38:08Speaker 1: Wayne Gretzky, the Great one Great. I mean, you're talking
- 38:12Speaker 1: about legends that his nickname. That dude's really good. It's
- 38:17Speaker 1: the great one had defined Oscar de la Hoya. All
- 38:20Speaker 1: these people pat Rowley, they had already seen in it,
- 38:23Speaker 1: uh their ideas. So since they've been doing it, Lisa
- 38:26Speaker 1: Leslie will join them, and rightfully so a true as
- 38:31Speaker 1: they say, generational talent. She was two women's basketball. What
- 38:35Speaker 1: we see like for you younger generation? How wimby that's
- 38:39Speaker 1: what she brought like that new version. Wow, she's she's unstoppable.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Down low we'll come back? Is it time for the
- 38:47Speaker 1: sec y'all? Let me know son? Were doing all the
- 38:53Speaker 1: legends C A A C B yeah A C we talking?
- 39:04Speaker 1: Let us be.
- 39:07Speaker 22: Who is this inn?
- 39:08Speaker 1: A cpproach to smoke?

- 41:27Speaker 25: sing even Jenny, Welcome.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Back to this boy Soock sung this by Shock Wayne Agandy.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Interesting story coming out of Mexico, where, if you don't know,
- 41:42Speaker 1: there will be World Cup Games sixteen World Cup stadiums
- 41:47Speaker 1: in the US, Mexico, and Canada. So really, the World
- 41:51Speaker 1: Cup is coming to North America. I know we here
- 41:54Speaker 1: in Atlanta have one of those stadiums, and we keep
- 41:57Speaker 1: talking about the traffic and we when you hear people
- 42:00Speaker 1: talk about it, they talk about like that's the only
- 42:03Speaker 1: location the World Cup is coming to, But it is
- 42:06Speaker 1: around North America, fifteen sixteen different venues. I think the
- 42:11Speaker 1: championships will be in l A or California, somewhere in
- 42:16Speaker 1: Sofi Stadium. Yeah. So we talked about the ticket prices.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Even saw one where some someone that purchased like two
- 42:25Speaker 1: tickets for two million dollars. The World is coming to
- 42:30Speaker 1: North America.
- 42:31Speaker 3: I'm sorry. The final will be at MetLife Stadium in
- 42:36Speaker 3: East Rutherford. Okay, that's what the final is going to be.
- 42:39Speaker 14: Okay, And is there a fee like that you got
- 42:42Speaker 14: to pay even if you buy the ticket to come
- 42:44Speaker 14: over here. There's it's a visa visa.
- 42:51Speaker 1: If you have their way for certain countries if you
- 42:55Speaker 1: have tickets, if you already have.
- 42:57Speaker 14: Your ticket, but if you come right now the last
- 43:00Speaker 14: men decided I want to come, that fee is not
- 43:02Speaker 14: gonna be waived. They gotta pay that visa fees. So
- 43:06Speaker 14: that's been added back to certain people that's coming. And
- 43:10Speaker 14: that was a big talk. That was something that was
- 43:12Speaker 14: gonna be There were talking about what if you're gonna
- 43:14Speaker 14: wave it for someone, you just want to wave it
- 43:16Speaker 14: for all.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Well, from what I read, there were certain countries that
- 43:24Speaker 1: were on the list already, and there was certain countries
- 43:26Speaker 1: that were not. I would imagine that the countries that
- 43:29Speaker 1: we were necessary were already probably doing business with they
- 43:33Speaker 1: never had a fee at all. Okay, and then there
- 43:36Speaker 1: was a list of people that we were not doing
- 43:38Speaker 1: that we got to lift that fee. But I do
- 43:43Speaker 1: know that we in our world, we always want to
- 43:47Speaker 1: believe they're this pendulum that keeps things even. You ever
- 43:55Speaker 1: noticed that, well, where we always think that it's gonna.
- 43:59Speaker 12: Be I think part of that is cognitive dissonance. That
- 44:04Speaker 12: people don't just accept the reality that they see in
- 44:07Speaker 12: front of their eyes. And a great deal of that
- 44:10Speaker 12: is because in our culture we are conditioned, almost programmed
- 44:16Speaker 12: to believe in the equity of things. Our symbols are
- 44:22Speaker 12: the blind Lady of Justice with the scales and all
- 44:27Speaker 12: of that is supposed to give us the feeling that
- 44:31Speaker 12: it can be equal the me and the dude who
- 44:37Speaker 12: the dude who has everything and me the same person,
- 44:40Speaker 12: and the results will be the same.
- 44:41Speaker 1: And that's just not the true reality of life.
- 44:46Speaker 12: And instead of accepting that and moving forward in the
- 44:51Speaker 12: space that you've been carved out, you keep trying to
- 44:55Speaker 12: get in somebody else's lane. And I think that causes
- 44:57Speaker 12: people a lot of stress because they want to.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Go, oh, man, how come on, Argentina ain't allowed in
- 45:04Speaker 3: cause they just weren't.
- 45:07Speaker 1: They weren't. Argentina don't export nothing. No, we don't buy.
- 45:11Speaker 3: They don't buy enough stuff from us for their citizens
- 45:15Speaker 3: to not have to pay the fee.
- 45:17Speaker 1: But because the subcard says buy four subs, get the
- 45:20Speaker 1: fifth free, get the fifth free. So if you haven't
- 45:22Speaker 1: bought a sub, you gotta start accumulating putdowns, right. But
- 45:27Speaker 1: now there was a time when you want me to
- 45:29Speaker 1: give you one free as you just want me to
- 45:31Speaker 1: skip the four first four and just start with the free.
- 45:34Speaker 12: But now there's a dude who come in every day.
- 45:37Speaker 12: And when they started the program, he bought his first
- 45:40Speaker 12: sub and they punched him three times for one sub
- 45:44Speaker 12: because we see you all the time, right, If anybody
- 45:46Speaker 12: deserved the free sub, it's gonna be you. So they
- 45:49Speaker 12: hook him up and that's it happens in life.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Sometimes Devin Booker has a new McDonald's Nike blue shoe
- 45:58Speaker 1: coming out. I saw, have we ever seen this before?
- 46:00Speaker 1: I couldn't figure out if anybody had connected with a
- 46:06Speaker 1: shoe company and a food franchise in one piece of merchandise.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Piece of merchandise.
- 46:13Speaker 12: We usually see the merchandise connecting with the food company
- 46:16Speaker 12: in the kids meals, some sort of movie promotion, some
- 46:20Speaker 12: sort of television character promotion, musical promotion, something like that.
- 46:26Speaker 3: So we give you a toy, we give you a
- 46:29Speaker 3: code to get. I didn't know Devin Booker had a shoe.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I didn't know Devin Booker had a shoe. I didn't look.
- 46:35Speaker 1: I didn't know shoes.
- 46:39Speaker 3: And then basic looking shoes, and did here we come
- 46:42Speaker 3: with the monochromatic It's it just says book on it
- 46:46Speaker 3: because nicknames book first shoe.
- 46:50Speaker 26: Well.
- 46:50Speaker 1: And the only reason I always give grace because we
- 46:53Speaker 1: might find out, just like with a lot of different athletes,
- 46:57Speaker 1: we found out that these guys are fashion guy, the fashionistas.
- 47:01Speaker 1: They want to start their own line. You know, remember
- 47:07Speaker 1: we had the guy on where Cam Newton the foxtail
- 47:10Speaker 1: foxtails and he was saying that wasn't his idea. That
- 47:14Speaker 1: was remember when people were running the Foxdale he said,
- 47:16Speaker 1: Cam Newton came in, looked over, saw a box of
- 47:20Speaker 1: foxtails and was asking could he make him one? And
- 47:24Speaker 1: that's how they created it. So Devin Booker could be
- 47:28Speaker 1: one of those guys that that's where his mind and
- 47:31Speaker 1: what he might want to step into. I think Russell
- 47:33Speaker 1: Westbrook has a closing fashion line with the open might
- 47:39Speaker 1: be that.
- 47:42Speaker 3: He might be that way more with cars, like he'll
- 47:44Speaker 3: he'll he'll drive. You'll see him drive to the game.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Most of his cars are from like the sixties and seventies,
- 47:49Speaker 3: those classic cars.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Tom Duncan I think was a car guy where he
- 47:53Speaker 1: wanted he fixes them and likes to restore the old.
- 47:58Speaker 1: From a chands get you know, I saw the shoe
- 48:02Speaker 1: and it's just like a baby.
- 48:03Speaker 12: Blue yeah, with the with the McDonald's logo on it,
- 48:07Speaker 12: and but from a marketing standpoint. The two giants, Nike
- 48:13Speaker 12: and McDonald's coming together to produce a shoe for you.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 48:18Speaker 3: I didn't know he had a shoe. But I'm sure
- 48:22Speaker 3: he's glad about it, you know what I mean. Those
- 48:24Speaker 3: two will make sure everybody knows. Everybody know that I
- 48:27Speaker 3: have a shoe. Yeah, Devin Booker for the Phoenix Sun.
- 48:31Speaker 3: We'll be back more to Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 48:40Speaker 27: First things first, freaks, all the honey dummies, playboy buddies,
- 48:45Speaker 27: those wanting money, those are the ones I like because
- 48:47Speaker 27: they don't.
- 48:47Speaker 6: Get don't go Awayne Born of the Sports John Show
- 48:54Speaker 6: with Wayne Gamsey.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Yes, dummy up next.

- 49:03Speaker 9: through a tube because she's congested. Man, that's love, And

- 49:09Speaker 9: make sure she's buckled in the right car seat. To

- 49:38Speaker 28: which led to wanting to live longer, which led to quitting.
- 49:42Speaker 28: Then you heard you maybe at risk for lung cancer,
- 49:45Speaker 28: which led you to getting a low dose CT scan.

- 50:06Speaker 29: surrounded by love that helps you grow. This is a
- 50:10Speaker 29: place to call home. That's an American dream we all deserve.

- 50:31Speaker 1: And now back to the sports. John Wayne at.
- 50:37Speaker 23: Center Court on sports News gossip. Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Oh oh, I like that Stylis, Welcome back to this
- 51:11Speaker 1: Woe Shock Show. I'm this spot Shock Wayne Candy. Good
- 51:14Speaker 1: morning till you're glad to be here with you the
- 51:16Speaker 1: baby dude, Sir Big Kenny, the funny man himself Command
- 51:19Speaker 1: Greg in the studio. As we just found out the
- 51:22Speaker 1: Indieapolis five hundred going on this Sunday. Really, Uh, you know,
- 51:28Speaker 1: as Vic Kenny alluded to, as we've talked about different
- 51:31Speaker 1: shows where you can get you almost need a social
- 51:35Speaker 1: calendar to keep up with when things are going to happen,
- 51:39Speaker 1: things that you used to pay attention to, just like
- 51:41Speaker 1: but the Preakness. But those sports, to me are really
- 51:45Speaker 1: fading as far as attention. Uh, the lines have definitely
- 51:49Speaker 1: been erase. They're not blurred anymore about sporting events. Leagues
- 51:59Speaker 1: invade in your space. There is no honor amongst thieves.
- 52:04Speaker 1: There's just greed and they don't care nothing about Christmas
- 52:10Speaker 1: is your day. I'm me a couple of games too
- 52:13Speaker 1: on your day. I don't care nothing, you know, I
- 52:15Speaker 1: don't care nothing about your Oh you had this, I'm
- 52:20Speaker 1: going to schedule this on that day to the respect
- 52:23Speaker 1: of whenever you needed that day has gone out the window.
- 52:26Speaker 1: So you do have things overlapping. You do have a
- 52:31Speaker 1: feel where you things will pop up and you were
- 52:35Speaker 1: just in the last moment realize that it is happening.
- 52:39Speaker 1: But the Triple Crown used to be a thing, and
- 52:41Speaker 1: people move race to race, and really the Preakness that
- 52:47Speaker 1: happened by the time I recognized that the Preakness was
- 52:49Speaker 1: going on. So the condemn means that what's next the Belmont.
- 52:56Speaker 1: But those kinds of sports are losing traction. That's how
- 52:59Speaker 1: other sports are gaining attention because as I said, not
- 53:02Speaker 1: only is the dollar only spread so far to be
- 53:08Speaker 1: able to get the things the dollar hasn't changed, I
- 53:13Speaker 1: can squeeze in. But if I'm gonna be a full
- 53:15Speaker 1: time Georgia Bulldog, that means there's twelve games, eight of
- 53:24Speaker 1: them are home. Two of those home games are in Atlanta,
- 53:32Speaker 1: so I might be able to get the one Falcon
- 53:36Speaker 1: game one because I got to get the all eight
- 53:40Speaker 1: Bulldog game. This is really I mean, think about it,
- 53:42Speaker 1: I gotta get there. People come with the full package,
- 53:46Speaker 1: and they.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Don't want They're offering you some kind of the full
- 53:50Speaker 3: and experience, and those experiences are at They.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Offer a full pack mini pack for the Falcons.
- 53:57Speaker 12: Now, you know, it used to be that those experiences
- 54:00Speaker 12: came at a at very least at a perceived value.
- 54:05Speaker 12: Now it is understood, I'm going to get this experience,
- 54:09Speaker 12: I'm gonna pay full price for it. But because of that,
- 54:13Speaker 12: I'll have to manage my other sports dollars. So I'm
- 54:16Speaker 12: gonna miss the Breakness. I might not even watch that. No,
- 54:19Speaker 12: I'm just gonnam gonna. I'm gonna I ain't even afford
- 54:22Speaker 12: to watch.
- 54:22Speaker 3: I'm just gonna put a bet on that, and just
- 54:24Speaker 3: hopefully there may not be a whole lot of interest
- 54:26Speaker 3: in in the Preakness because the horse that went to
- 54:30Speaker 3: Kentucky Derby isn't even gonna be in the Preakness because
- 54:33Speaker 3: a lot of times with with those, it's like, okay,
- 54:36Speaker 3: whoever wins Kentucky Derby, can they win all three? And
- 54:40Speaker 3: now it wasn't one of the first one, he's even
- 54:42Speaker 3: gonna be in the second one.
- 54:43Speaker 14: And that usually kills the kills the Prinkness. If I
- 54:46Speaker 14: think maybe two or three times that the horses.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Well, I mean I juiced them up to win the Kentucky. Hey,
- 54:54Speaker 1: he's not gonna pass the drug test for the Preakness.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Allegedly no no, no, no, no no no no actually
- 55:00Speaker 1: did it so I would think. But listen though, no,
- 55:03Speaker 1: I'm saying I'm past it.
- 55:05Speaker 3: That's why the mad producing our friendship is kind of
- 55:08Speaker 3: falling to the wayside because I'm past the allegedly I'm
- 55:14Speaker 3: either it was it was, it wasn't sports judged him up.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I'm able to bring it back to what you weren't
- 55:22Speaker 3: gonna pass training that she trained him to give. No, no,
- 55:29Speaker 3: she trained you.
- 55:31Speaker 1: I'm not judging because we do not drug the animals,
- 55:34Speaker 1: Am I right? Am I right?
- 55:36Speaker 3: We all snipped the animal something to compete though. What
- 55:42Speaker 3: I'm saying just to get out there and give it.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Give it, y'all.
- 55:46Speaker 1: You ain't no need he need because is it a crime? Yeah,
- 55:53Speaker 1: But I'm saying that's what it is. Because even even
- 55:55Speaker 1: as we keep continue to move and that, and I've
- 55:58Speaker 1: said this and not pad myself because our show have
- 56:03Speaker 1: said this, that you're gonna have to pay for all
- 56:07Speaker 1: of it at some point. At some point, it's gonna
- 56:11Speaker 1: all stop being free. Right now, Congress is saving us.
- 56:18Speaker 1: But if you left it the Prime and Netflix, you're
- 56:22Speaker 1: gonna have to pay for it all. If you read
- 56:25Speaker 1: Congress is saving. You can't show all hundred games. You
- 56:32Speaker 1: have to give us at least one free this thing,
- 56:35Speaker 1: you know. But a lot of people are ignoring that reality.
- 56:39Speaker 12: I think for two things. Number one is they imagine
- 56:45Speaker 12: that that time is decades in the future. It'll be
- 56:49Speaker 12: you know, my grandkids will have kids by the time
- 56:52Speaker 12: that happens, when actually it's happening right now where you
- 56:56Speaker 12: can get to the NBA Finals and have to watch
- 56:59Speaker 12: it on Prime. A lot of people don't take into
- 57:02Speaker 12: account they're watching it on Prime because they already got Prime.
- 57:06Speaker 1: So you know, County are.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Paying for It's it's uh, it's Peacock, not NBC. It's
- 57:16Speaker 3: Peacock right now, and so.
- 57:19Speaker 14: You have that that's the way to get around it.
- 57:21Speaker 14: And if you look at to be able to do that,
- 57:23Speaker 14: well they give it to you.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Well, they can give it to you NBC slash peacock
- 57:29Speaker 1: NBC because Congress. But once we get this new regime
- 57:34Speaker 1: in because he ran on the ticket, man, we're getting
- 57:37Speaker 1: rid of NBC, and all you're gonna see is Peacock.
- 57:41Speaker 1: It's really turning into you're having to pay, which is
- 57:44Speaker 1: also part of your dollar of being able to afford
- 57:49Speaker 1: sports in your life, you know. And and that's just
- 57:53Speaker 1: the facet that is easily. I want to meet all
- 57:56Speaker 1: these people. The NFL said was demanding these me week games.
- 58:01Speaker 1: They say, the fans, they start having Wednesday Thursday games
- 58:05Speaker 1: because the fans your Thanksgiving Eve, they need football. Were
- 58:10Speaker 1: you there at the meeting, Kenny.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Thanksgiving shocking about the meeting years ago? Don't watch there's
- 58:20Speaker 3: still there's still those games. There's still those three. But
- 58:22Speaker 3: you want to giving you want to? You said black Friday,
- 58:27Speaker 3: you got didn't say any of that, Remember that. I
- 58:31Speaker 3: wasn't giving Eve Black Friday football. I said that, But
- 58:37Speaker 3: they said that you said that, They said you said it.
- 58:40Speaker 3: Somebody said a source.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You had a choice, so choose. Yeah, yess what you chose,
- 58:54Speaker 1: which is not like, that's not Wednesday, right, That's what
- 58:57Speaker 1: That's what's so funny to me. We're having the game
- 58:59Speaker 1: on Thanksgiving Eve, Well that would be Wednesday. Everybody's like,
- 59:03Speaker 1: oh that's different. No, No, that's not how they do
- 59:06Speaker 1: that because I didn't even know.
- 59:07Speaker 3: I didn't even know Thanksgiving had a eve. Christmas Eve
- 59:12Speaker 3: gotta eade that, you know, did you know the Christmas
- 59:16Speaker 3: Eve they're going they're going to copyright the phrase thanksgiving
- 59:19Speaker 3: even more. The Sports Jock Show right after this, just
- 59:23Speaker 3: like zero weeks, you can'ts gotten to sing again.
- 59:26Speaker 26: To watch this be your type of shapes and stones
- 59:29Speaker 26: being broken childish and I'm quite grown.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Run a bit of club with the ice so on
- 59:32Speaker 3: me your probably zone school the spot out something.
- 59:37Speaker 6: Don't go Awayne Bred of the Sports Jock Hill with

- 59:47Speaker 15: That's probably what the driver who killed a four year
- 59:49Speaker 15: old told himself and now he's in prison. If you

- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Harris and how would you handle that situation?
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: UH.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: When you deal with high school and college, there is
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: a sense that the coach and the administration, UH is
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: supposed to live a little more of an upstanding life
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: to a degree, and I think that's sometimes the scrutiny
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: is a little higher, UH than it is at the
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: pro level, because you're influencing the young mind. We also
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: talked about UH, Devin Booker having a shoe, which none
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: of us knew. Devin had a shooting and not that
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Devin is not a bad boy out on the court.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: He's definitely that, but I did not have him to
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: shoot it. But and to be able to his agent,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: A you can get Nike and McDonald's. Do you think
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: any do you think they went after anybody else? I
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: think he probably takes he was. Why are you do
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you hate Devin Booker because you keep making comments?
- 1:03:33Speaker 14: No, I'm just saying I'm trying to figure out why
- 1:03:36Speaker 14: Devin Booker. I mean to sell the shoe.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I mean.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: To find like the player that may be interested, that
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: may actually eat hold on, hold on, hold on, Why
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: not Devin Booker? I had no issue with the why
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: not Devin Booker? So why not Devin Booker?
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I just just asking. I mean, you Devin Booker is
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the phoenix. They haven't.
- 1:04:04Speaker 14: He hasn't been on a good run in about four
- 1:04:07Speaker 14: or five years. I mean, as far as his name
- 1:04:10Speaker 14: out there is the top. I mean, I know he's
- 1:04:12Speaker 14: been making All Stars. But there's some more marketable players
- 1:04:16Speaker 14: that are playing a little bit better this.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: In the finals. Possibly, Like you said, you even got
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the U. S. G. A and a couple of places
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: from Canada. I mean got McDonald's. Well, he's with uh
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: McDonald's as if I remember, is an American born company. Yes,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: and so is Nike. Right, So I'm imagining as much
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: as they can. They try to push American born people. Yeah.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Yes, so once again I'll ask you, why not Devin Booker.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: It's like I said, I just think, I don't know.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: I just think it's a couple more better choices, probably
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: just shooting like you do, but I'm wrong.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Do they do that? Well, that's when I give him,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: give him a chance to give me some talent? Was
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: one name? Well I did.
- 1:05:07Speaker 14: I said that, what y'all want to shoot that down
- 1:05:09Speaker 14: in the same because he's not an American born there's
- 1:05:11Speaker 14: a lot of people just get that's non American to
- 1:05:15Speaker 14: get this offered by American companies.
- 1:05:17Speaker 12: But what's something I would also ask is like, when
- 1:05:21Speaker 12: when we start talking about.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Hold on, you said, s g A, do you have
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: anybody else? Because you made three rumblings about us saying
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Devin Booker, Devin Booker has not been that Trey Young
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: and Devin Booker. When I see those visions in my head,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I see a spoiled rapp with a rattler in his hand. Yeah,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: and then I see a guy who plays in a
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: very professional way. So you didn't give me a better choice,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you just gave me your preference. I asked you for
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: a better choice.
- 1:06:07Speaker 12: Also, of the people that you might think might be
- 1:06:09Speaker 12: better choices, how many of them are already signed to
- 1:06:12Speaker 12: shoe deal? Because I can't break my contract with any
- 1:06:17Speaker 12: other shoe company to do the McDonald.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: If it was like Nike and McDonald's. Nike and McDonald's,
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: it can't be SGA. He's with Converse, Trey is with
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: the Jordan brand. But are they doing a McDonald's collab?
- 1:06:34Speaker 12: I mean like they are not. I'm still not sure
- 1:06:37Speaker 12: what your issue. Did Devin Booker have a McDonald's endorsal?
- 1:06:43Speaker 12: Wasn't he already doing something with McDonald's already.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Devin Booker, Yeah, I don't. I don't know. I thought
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: he's already some sort of campaign, So I don't know.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: For all we know, Devin Booker was the only athlete
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: of grand standing that was okay donating all the profits
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: to the Ronald McDonald's house. For all we know. We so,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: But I still don't get why Devin Booker, who is
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: a perennial All Star, is such a thunderous rumbling every
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: time I've said the name, I just was trying to
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: move on the first three times he did it, And
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: then it's the same.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: Like intre It's like what and then he comes back
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: to them, same three people he like. And I don't
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: know where this fairy dust that Trey Young threw in
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: people's face. And I'm a Hawks fan. I sat there
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: for the whole time watching the young man. Nothing against him,
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: but when did you throw this fairy dust that made
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: people go?
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: What?
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Get Trey?
- 1:07:58Speaker 14: I mean he's got a kid, he's uh, he's got
- 1:08:01Speaker 14: a family. He's great for McDonald's.
- 1:08:03Speaker 31: I mean, you know a week seeing trade play, see
- 1:08:07Speaker 31: trade play last year and a half got he got
- 1:08:09Speaker 31: a key, got the Wizards, a good family, McDonalds.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: You know we all got a d all right, it's important.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: We all got to McDonald's. The Grimace, Rivers got ten,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Antonio got about twelve. Well in jail, you got eleven.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: We all got mamas.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: We all got a bunch of baby mamas, right, not level,
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: You're right, even us, even with a bunch of gotta
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: leve baby mama, we all be sitting there like, come on, man, combined,
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: we don't have Come on man. If we all if
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: we had eleven baby mamas, we'll be doing a show
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: called eleven Baby Baby.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I got three show because boy, that's a real show.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: That's a real show. Try Nick cann could get on it.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: You must be you must be Solomon or King David?
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Who are you was the person with who was the.
- 1:09:08Speaker 12: Person with the able to just control a peace of mind?
- 1:09:11Speaker 12: Because with eleven baby mamas and you still saying that
- 1:09:15Speaker 12: must be. That's why my man locked up, he said
- 1:09:17Speaker 12: camel Be Nolan.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Smith of the Philadelphia Egos, one of the top defenders
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: in the league. Super Bowl Champion, played with the Georgia Bulldogs,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: arrested driving one thirty seven in a seventy mile per
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: hour zone. Whether you're seventy sixty eighty. One thirty seven
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: violates all speed limits in every state, even in Texas,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: where they do let you in some parts get up
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to ninety. He still would be super speeding. Yeah, at
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: one thirty seven, but speeding. We've all done it, and
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: you're gonna get in your car at some point in
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: the next day or two. Beef speeding somewhere. But why
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: does the Georgia Bulldog player seem to get caught. I've
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: never seen guys get caught, and they don't have to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: be in Athens because at one point we thought it
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: was just an Athens thing. They can be in Albuquerque,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: New Mexico, and it'll be a Georgia.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Bulldog when he's in Twiggs County, which is around making yes.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: For you that don't know Athens and making or three
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: about three hours apart alone way.
- 1:10:36Speaker 12: Now from this is my hypothesis, is when you travel
- 1:10:42Speaker 12: from Atlanta to Athens, what direction do you usually take
- 1:10:46Speaker 12: the majority of the traffic you take Interstate seventy five,
- 1:10:51Speaker 12: eighty five, sixteen, three sixteen. Now when you get on
- 1:10:55Speaker 12: three sixteen, how many turns and twists do you have
- 1:10:59Speaker 12: to make before where you get to Athens.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: It's just straight ahead. It's a straight away, just one
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: big long straight away. Yeah.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: But if I get on, if I get on seventy
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: five south, that's a straightaway.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. So Tampa, they all to take
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: me all the way from the front house house in Forts,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: so from I can ride and from Athens to Atlanta
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: is a straight away.
- 1:11:28Speaker 12: Then when you get on eighty five going south, it's
- 1:11:31Speaker 12: like eight lanes straight away. So they just used to
- 1:11:35Speaker 12: going straight fast everywhere they go for about four or
- 1:11:38Speaker 12: five years.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Then they get out in the real world and they.
- 1:11:41Speaker 14: Have to like, well, you ain't gonna go fast up
- 1:11:44Speaker 14: and that that's what like sports shock will say, and
- 1:11:46Speaker 14: I mean used to you'd be like, man, these guys
- 1:11:48Speaker 14: can't catch a break. They're always getting called in Athens.
- 1:11:51Speaker 14: But lately in the last three or four years, it's like.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Should we be giving them a break for going that fast?
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Now I'm just saying the one hundred and did they
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: say what kind of car he was driving? Oh, I
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: don't see imo. It was a charger, probably Lamborghini.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I don't know. Kind of money Nolan make he be
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: a spaceship. We're gonna talk about Wait that that's a
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: different that's a different Nolan Smith's one thirty seven though, Yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: this is a lot of his first one. Even me
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: as a super speeders like, wow, you showing up? So
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I was just when I saw it, I just kept thinking,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: is one thing for it had been just in Athens?
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: But they just speed little city we go is gonna speed?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Uh and they get around. But one thirty seven is
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: a healthy picket because you're that super speeder. A lot
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: of different thing.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm saying that's over super Yeah, that's all superseding,
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: some reckless driving, reckless d.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: It goes on that fast. Okay, all right, no, go
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: ahead on back there.
- 1:13:13Speaker 14: It's driving I think some sort of in Dane. Yeah,
- 1:13:16Speaker 14: it's a it's a big, it's a charge. It's an
- 1:13:18Speaker 14: upgrade on that just because it's beyond super speed.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: We'll be back. Birthday segment coming up. Still got to
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: talk about the SEC boycott by then a CP. We
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: got some car jacking to talk about as well, and
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: underage marriage that much more coming up after the break.
- 1:13:41Speaker 27: Slow like y Joe, A few more skills than idahole
- 1:13:45Speaker 27: potato sorical molesting, mistaking place.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: Don't go awayne board of the sports Josh Hill with
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: Wayne Gandia's coming up next.
- 1:13:56Speaker 19: I actually dropped better when I'm high, if anything more careful.
- 1:14:01Speaker 15: That's probably what the driver who killed a four year
- 1:14:03Speaker 15: old told himself and now he's in prison. Friend, you
- 1:14:06Speaker 15: drive different. Don't drive high. Brought to you by NITZA
- 1:14:09Speaker 15: and the ad Council.

- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Share is the Big Eight? Zero is Share Natori Naughton
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: from Power. She's forty two years old. Bust the Rhymes
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: fifty four years old. Trinity Rodman Dennis Rodman daughter, great
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: soccer player, twenty four years old. Hayley Jones WNBA used
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to be with the Atlanta Dream Now she's out in
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Portland with Tempo. Jackson Hayes with the Lakers twenty six
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: years old. Aaron Donald the Hall of Famer to be
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: thirty five years of age. Kelly Mona co General Hospital.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: But one note, and why I put Kelly Monico down.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: She's fifty years old. I didn't realize she was the
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: first winner of Dancing with the Stars. Little food for
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: thought right there. You know, you never really think they've
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: been around twenty they've been around now about twenty one
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: years and so first winner. That's history because we never
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: thought of it last that long. Two thousand and five
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: she won the first Dancing with the Stars is Kelly
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Monico and she started on General Hospital for the last
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: thirty years. Ryan Coogler, who is a great director producer,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: also played I saw college football. I was Ryan coogl
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Sacramento State. Okay, okay, it's forty years old. Jewel is
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: fifty two, Drew Carrey sixty eight. Melissa McBride from The
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Walking Dead, she's sixty one.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: W were y'all guys Walking Dead pans? No, you didn't
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: like the TWD. I had never got into it.
- 1:17:56Speaker 12: I ended up actually watching it maybe three or four
- 1:18:02Speaker 12: years after the series ended, and I binged, you know,
- 1:18:06Speaker 12: a season or two, and it was interesting. It just
- 1:18:09Speaker 12: by the time I got into it, it seemed like
- 1:18:12Speaker 12: a lot to catch up on. So then, you know,
- 1:18:16Speaker 12: I saw some of the spin offs.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: And it's definitely something that you can't you have to
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: watch from the beginning, yeah, because it's about the storyline
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: of how they got to that point. It's not something
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: you can start a season like most most series sees,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: you have the kind of but some of those, like
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Law and Order shows you don't necessarily have to.
- 1:18:40Speaker 12: Watch episode is its own story, contain its own contained story.
- 1:18:45Speaker 12: It starts, it has the turn, and it's concluded all
- 1:18:49Speaker 12: in that episode. But in The Walking Dead, like in
- 1:18:53Speaker 12: season ten, episode fourteen, he runs into somebody and he goes,
- 1:18:58Speaker 12: I've been looking for you all this time.
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: I mean you sitting there, You've been watching four seasons, like,
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: who the hell is this and why have you been
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: someone for season three saying you've been looking for him
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: and everybody's excited to see him, and you're like, man,
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: this dude must have been in port.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Julian Edelman, the Big Four. Oh, Anthony Richardson of the
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Coats is he's still with the Coats. They let him go.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: They let him go, didn't He's he's still with the Colts,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: but they told him to start looking for other teams. Yeah.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Twenty five years old, Marcus dupri the First, n Il
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Marcus three, sixty two years old, Johnny gill Is sixty,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: The Joker, Novak Djokovic, the Machine himself thirty nine, Maggot
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Q forty seven, Jennifer Goodwin is forty eight. They only
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Campbell fifty six, Ronald Eisley eighty five, Wow, they've won
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: stat seventy four, Ricky smoke Out williams is forty nine,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Mister t seventy four, and Josh all of the bills,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Josh Allen. Who has more pressure Josh Allen Lamar Jackson
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: to deliver championship? Who I think their neck and neck nothing?
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Even right now, I was gonna say, what what what?
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: What?
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: What do you define this pressure? Sam Darnold got one,
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: so it's it's it's six and one hand. The other
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: guy's got a half dozen.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: So I would go and lean towards Lamar Jackson because
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I think Josh might have a little more longevity to
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: his quests than Lamar.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Get like, you'll get more chances or like his his
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: stylus will give him more opportunities to take the You know,
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: Lamar is like a John l Way, He's more like
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: that where but we've seen Josh Allen get close Lamar
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: a couple of times. Lamar Jackson, like Danny Jackson, goes
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: fifteen and two and get to the We've seen both
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: in the first round.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: They've both been to the same Yeah, Loise, That's what
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: I'm saying. But Josh Allen keeps running into Patrick mahomes,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Sir Patrick Patricket running into m George.
- 1:21:22Speaker 12: It is sometimes to me it seems like, uh, what's
- 1:21:27Speaker 12: Lamar Jackson is Danny Glover from lethal weapon? He getting
- 1:21:31Speaker 12: too old for this, you know what I mean at
- 1:21:33Speaker 12: some point too not too old to be in law enforcement.
- 1:21:37Speaker 12: But they're diving out of windows, you know, saving people
- 1:21:40Speaker 12: out of helicopters.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: And I and I said that because when I look
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: at the both of them, and I don't know either
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: one of these young gentlemen. I'm just going by the
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: disposition of them. Josh Allen looks like he would toil
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: through another decade. Lamar Jackson doesn't give me that he
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: will go through all that. He looks like he you know,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I got a dollar that man, I ain't. I ain't
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: goin to be bent over. Yeah, I wanted to wanting
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: to walk in my fifties, needing new kneecaps kind of mindset.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: He's not wrong, That's what I'm saying, Like, you know,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: all that keep coming back, that does Andrew. Look, I'm
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: not saying he's gonna make it that short, but I'm
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: saying Josh looked like he would keep letting you beat
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: on him. Lamar looked like he would give it a
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: great try, might win another m v P or two.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: But you ain't bunch of time keep falling on me
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: kind of am I am? I reading it wrong?
- 1:22:44Speaker 14: Now my home both Mahon has you know, basically been
- 1:22:52Speaker 14: both of them Scarlett killer with both of them being
- 1:22:55Speaker 14: in a f C. He's either them Baltimore or Buffalo
- 1:22:59Speaker 14: running in to my home.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: So I think with Josh Allen, he's more of a
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: He's built closer to a Ben Roethlisberger to where like
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: he's he has enough size to withstand like you know
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: DB's trying to tackle him. With Lamar Jackson, you could
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: get a solid hit on him maybe if he doesn't
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: have the if he doesn't use him.
- 1:23:22Speaker 14: And and the thing about it both but both teams.
- 1:23:26Speaker 14: I mean it seems like if have we neither one
- 1:23:29Speaker 14: of them have got to the championship game against each other,
- 1:23:32Speaker 14: for they both got into the conference championship. No, I'm
- 1:23:36Speaker 14: talking about against each other. So that's what you know,
- 1:23:39Speaker 14: that will be something to see that pressure on both
- 1:23:43Speaker 14: of them. Like you said, Darden's already got here, so
- 1:23:47Speaker 14: I mean Donald's got here. So if that could happen
- 1:23:51Speaker 14: and then we could go from there. We'll say who's moved,
- 1:23:54Speaker 14: then you can say who moved ahead of the one
- 1:23:56Speaker 14: if they both can make the conference finals, since both
- 1:23:59Speaker 14: of them in the AFC.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: We weren't talking about who was better than who. I
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: was just talking about the longevity of what they're playing.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: This is another defense for you out there that's listening
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: of the bad producers of Lamar Jackson fan. So I
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: watched his body position and his eyes as I was
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: talking about it. He took what I was saying was
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: that Josh Allen was better than Lamar Jackson. I did
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: not say that. I said that one gives me I
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: will keep playing, playing and falling down and getting hit
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: on search of it. The other look like, I'm going
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: to give you my best years indeed, but then I'm
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: not going to dose you told my acl last year storyline.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: I'm not going to give you. I pulled my achilles
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: and I said from outwardly? Did I not I'm making this.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: I'm not telling you internally. I'm telling you from the
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: outward look of it. I did not say as he heard,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: because he hears from a different idea when you talk
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: about people. He likes. This had nothing to do with
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: who is better at all? We'll be back more to
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Sports Jock shown o'clock in Oh Man, just that show?
- 1:25:18Speaker 21: Do that?
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Shall do? You introduced me to him? Right now, Let's
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: let's split him.
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: Let's roll for it like well, paper sissors, rock to
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: see whose man's right?
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: After this? You forgive you for you know not what
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: you do.
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: In seven eighty Kendom money.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: But Kenny got pen and grinning statinods ob.

- 1:26:02Speaker 1: Said if it's still warm, then do it again.

- 1:26:57Speaker 10: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own home.
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: To me aware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone

- 1:27:43Speaker 1: Come out, you know you how to do a remake, right.
- 1:27:52Speaker 25: This is mad.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: Welcome back to this woe Shock show. I'm the sport
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Shock Wayne Gandy launch drawing Tuesday. The out of Bound
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Campaign Urging Perspective Black Athletes. The out of Bounds Capaign
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Urging perspective Black Athletes, their families, alumni and fans, launched
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: on Tuesday. The out of Bounds Campaign Urges perspective Black Athletes,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: their families, alumni and fans, launched on Tuesday. Two days.
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Out of Bounds Campaign two days ago urges prospective Black athletes.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: Prospective athletes, you ain't maybe if you want to be
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: athletes perspective black black athletes, So you got to qualify, Yeah,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: I can black. I'm infuriated when I see that. Go forth,
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: go forth, sir, perspective black. You create a divide. What
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: about the white athletes? To have an issue with what
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: you feel government is doing? What about them? You're making
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: it seem by calling for the black athlete that everybody
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: else is black is riding with the people you have
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: an issue with. Now that so many ways I can
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: stay on this all day. We could have started the
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: show with it. Y'all always want to go back in time,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: Big Kenny over here. He's been cleaning his gun because
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: he's upset with people who wanted to keep going back
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: to the eighteen hundred. They played football without us for
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: a long time. You acting like they gonna go out
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: of business without us. This time, they still gonna serve
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: the Auburn fan football. You keep making it seem that
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: the black man gave them football. We had to fight
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: to get in the league of the SEC and the ACC.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: But y'all don't want to walk with me. Y'all just
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: want to make noise. They don't need us to keep
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: these comferences going. They don't. You're looking, Oh, we'll provide
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: the better, sure, but that's not why they they're they're
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: there this year for Auburn. If all twenty two starters
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: was white, they ride with that. A matter of fact,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: we get the calling the Gonzagas and all those places
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: racist when they feel all white teams in twenty twenty six.
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: Take your time, past uh, take your time. We sit
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: here and we label them, well, how they gonna have
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: a team without a black person? Our our there is
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: the exactly know where it is you're mad about it.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: I'm lost. I hear these things and I get what
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: you're trying to do. First of all, so you want
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: these young men to give up their job. This is
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: their job now, no no no, no no no no
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: no no no no no. You changed it when you
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: said pay them, So now you want them to leave
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: their job. It's not just a job.
- 1:32:30Speaker 12: It's a good paying job, something that we were always
- 1:32:36Speaker 12: encouraged to go to college to be able to get
- 1:32:39Speaker 12: a good paying job. And then remember remember remember this
- 1:32:43Speaker 12: might have this a long time ago. It might have
- 1:32:45Speaker 12: been about twenty eighteen, way back when they were saying
- 1:32:49Speaker 12: that college sports was modern day slavery, and these institutions
- 1:32:56Speaker 12: are making billions on the backs of these black athletes.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: You remember that, I did, remember.
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: And then they said, at the very least, at the
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: very least, if you ain't gonna pay them, y'all to
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: give them jersey sales or something. Remember, because they was
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: trying to come up with a way for them to
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: get money. And then somebody said, let's come up with
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: something called the give them money. And they said, no,
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: let's give it a fancy or name. What about n
- 1:33:20Speaker 3: I L?
- 1:33:20Speaker 12: And so yeah, I like that, and so they said, okay,
- 1:33:23Speaker 12: let's do it inn I L. And then they start skimming.
- 1:33:25Speaker 12: Wait a minute, now, that's only gonna go to them
- 1:33:27Speaker 12: powerful white schools. And ain't none of them black athletes
- 1:33:31Speaker 12: gonna be able to get that money. So they need
- 1:33:32Speaker 12: to give them sons and black athletes.
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: And then what happened Solack getting You made a statement,
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: you said millions with.
- 1:33:39Speaker 14: Them, but you where it was just going. You said,
- 1:33:44Speaker 14: you made a statement, you said, you get what they're
- 1:33:46Speaker 14: trying to do. The end, what do they I mean,
- 1:33:48Speaker 14: that's what I don't get that. I mean, because someone
- 1:33:50Speaker 14: is playing, I don't get what they're.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: They're trying to feed into whatever they perceive as they're
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: voting rights. They're trying to find avenues they want to
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: as I heard the person on the video I just
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: clicked on, they want to hold the universities accountable. They
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: feel like the universities. Now I don't know what they
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: got to do with vote, we got to do it voting. Yeah,
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: that's what I thought. They were just a university when
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: I was at Auburn. I want you all to know,
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: which was a long time ago. It's Bennie Kenny always
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: The x V L Days was an I x V
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I day x x x I on voting years, they
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: would come and make sure we voted, okay, So they
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: were even pushing that we need to get up and
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: go vote. Okay, So you're they're not over there hiding voting.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: They wasn't. They wasn't giving you a candidate either. They
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: was telling you that it was voting time. And Coach
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: Dies telling you all you that, especially in the state
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: of Alabama, get in the boot, need to go vote
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: and if you need to miss practice or be the
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: late the practice, go do that. Oh y'all wasn't there,
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: so that they didn't know. I thought they was in
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: there telling us what to do, what to do. He
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: was just telling you who you need to vote for. No,
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: they didn't. They didn't have any of you. So it
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: was an expectation.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: So they didn't tell you pick the donkey, don't pick
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: the elephant. That's what they wasn't giving you. They didn't
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: tell you what party they were winning. They didn't use
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: any no influence. They didn't say, you know, just.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: Use your right as an American citizens right to vote
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: to go vote. So this is they thought that was
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: their part to make sure they got their team those
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: and if they needed to extend practice where you could
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: show you had to come back with your little thing sticker.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: I voted, But if it took you to miss the practice,
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: if the line, you know, and they tried to get
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: you and give you out early in the morning so
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: you could go. But if it went further than practice
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: on when you came back, God had your sticker with
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: your sticker, and you missed the first hour practice. I
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: was voting. Okay, one of the few legitimate reasons you
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: could miss your vote to your to your.
- 1:36:32Speaker 14: If I can clear else, but I want to add
- 1:36:34Speaker 14: on to it might help you give you a little
- 1:36:35Speaker 14: bit more though kidding. All I'm saying is so with me,
- 1:36:39Speaker 14: I'm a member of that organization, ended up seeing my
- 1:36:43Speaker 14: month yearly dudes in I'm trying to understand there's other
- 1:36:48Speaker 14: things out there that we can be using our resources
- 1:36:52Speaker 14: and our time and energy.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: And that's another part of this.
- 1:36:56Speaker 14: I'm not understanding when the colleges and university they're not
- 1:37:00Speaker 14: there's no senators, congressman coming on campus anything like that.
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: Why are they attacking the sports part of the people.
- 1:37:10Speaker 12: Who I know who are in favor of this out
- 1:37:14Speaker 12: of bounds. Out of Bounds campaign, which just started Tuesday,
- 1:37:19Speaker 12: so I don't know if they were it.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: No, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:37:23Speaker 12: It wasn't called out of bounds when they first jumped down,
- 1:37:26Speaker 12: but now it has a name, and the ideology is
- 1:37:32Speaker 12: rooted in the fact that, as I've been told, the
- 1:37:35Speaker 12: only thing they quote care about is money. So your senators,
- 1:37:41Speaker 12: your congressmen, your politicians from your state are voting to
- 1:37:46Speaker 12: restrict our voting rights by redistricting and drawing the lines
- 1:37:53Speaker 12: and redistricting, jairmandering and taking away But what were majority
- 1:37:57Speaker 12: black districts. So because they get tax dollars from the universities,
- 1:38:05Speaker 12: and those universities make a lot of money off their
- 1:38:09Speaker 12: athletic programs than these black athletes, fans and families can
- 1:38:15Speaker 12: quote hit them in the pocket where it counts by
- 1:38:19Speaker 12: restricting our presence and our dollars at those events. So
- 1:38:25Speaker 12: you don't play for them, you don't buy tickets to them.
- 1:38:29Speaker 12: I'm guessing you got to pull your student out because
- 1:38:33Speaker 12: if you know, if we just.
- 1:38:34Speaker 14: Well question, they've had a couple of blackouts over the
- 1:38:39Speaker 14: class couple of years. They don't buy on this day.
- 1:38:42Speaker 14: Black people tell us to show our economic powers. I
- 1:38:46Speaker 14: haven't participate, have you participated in anything because someday I
- 1:38:50Speaker 14: need to spend money on that day. So this is
- 1:38:53Speaker 14: another thing where I'm saying that they're trying to brick
- 1:38:55Speaker 14: come back.
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: On the other side, talking more about NCUBA calling for
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: black athletes to participate in a boycott, they feel like
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: a depeleted, depleted roster will bring down the powerhouse football
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: and basketball programs in the Southeastern Conference, in the Atlantic
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: Coast Conference, that is much more right after this, baby
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: they see me.
- 1:39:20Speaker 27: Is DC at Howard Holme coming with my manform commings.
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: Something you said no must.

- 1:41:10Speaker 1: And now back to the sports Job, Wayne Yandy.
- 1:41:23Speaker 5: Between lock an so you can see a sports joint.
- 1:41:37Speaker 5: I'll see even very canny. Welcome back to this sport
- 1:41:42Speaker 5: shock show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning
- 1:41:46Speaker 5: to you out there and listening. Have any of you
- 1:41:48Speaker 5: guys ever had a problem voting? No, sir, no, no,
- 1:41:52Speaker 5: come here, have had a problem voting. It's always been easy.
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: None of us have had a problem. I went to
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: the wrong polo place once and then they told you
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: where to go. They told me exactly where, and then
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: when you got there, I voted. Okay. So nobody's having
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: a problem voting, No, sir, okay. So the naacp urging
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: black athletes and their families and fans to boycott. You
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: want me to go ask my son, my daughter, the
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: next Angel Reese not to go to bottom Rouge and
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: play for LSU make more this year than mom and
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: Dad combined made in the last decade decade. And because
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: you can't seem to get your governmental idea of how
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: you think voting should happen in the right perspective. So
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: you have trickled it down to a bunch of eighteen
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: to twenty one year olds and how they make their living.
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: I quietly just see Duke returning to all twelve Christian Lakeners. Yeah,
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you, it just easily rolls in. And I
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: know and I can see what you are thinking. But
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: I've been out there where they aren't really recognizing as
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: much as they're about winning and losing. How they get
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: to that winning and losing, no matter how great is
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: the product, because remember, then the product will be just
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: the same for all of us. Right, We'll just be
- 1:43:48Speaker 1: for all of us, all sixteen teams or whatever in
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: the sec they just all be none black players on them,
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: So how would they know any different? I thought the
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: whole mission was that getting this game in America first
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: and foremost at this point, this point, not one hundred
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: years ago, but at this point, a lot of it
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: is to have some seed money, some chips to push.
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: Some seed money can create some different avenues. Right, so
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: I can get a degree and some seed money. I
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: can make about three million dollars and get a degree.
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: So when I leave here, I can really go into business.
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: Right now, I can leave here with a four bedroom
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: house or car. Never go back to mama house. Now,
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: if you listen, I got some seed. You want me
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: to give up the seed? If you listen to this,
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: because in your mind, me denying myself the seed money
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: is going to redraw all the lines. Now, now this
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: is the thing sports, Joah.
- 1:45:02Speaker 12: If you listen to all of the leaders of these
- 1:45:06Speaker 12: communities who want us to move forward, they'll tell you
- 1:45:10Speaker 12: that the number one thing they have that they hold
- 1:45:14Speaker 12: over our heads is generational wealth. And the reason they
- 1:45:19Speaker 12: have that is because they're able to pass down assets
- 1:45:23Speaker 12: like real estate and homes today kids. But we denied
- 1:45:29Speaker 12: the opportunity to buy that because the playing feels so unleveled.
- 1:45:33Speaker 12: So if you ever get you a chance, the best
- 1:45:35Speaker 12: way to start some generational wealth is buy you a house.
- 1:45:39Speaker 12: Now we see, I know the whole starting line defensive
- 1:45:48Speaker 12: line for Georgia was able to buy houses. Everybody to
- 1:45:53Speaker 12: play for the University of Georgia able to buy a house,
- 1:45:56Speaker 12: and they could pass that down to their kids. So
- 1:45:58Speaker 12: that's just in one season, a whole team's worth, a
- 1:46:02Speaker 12: generational wealth has been created. Yes, an entire team's worth.
- 1:46:08Speaker 12: We're not talking about pulling up by the bootstrapping. Then
- 1:46:11Speaker 12: I worked fifteen years in the organization before I can
- 1:46:14Speaker 12: get another one of us through the door. I'm talking
- 1:46:17Speaker 12: about all of us leave here driving one hundred and
- 1:46:19Speaker 12: thirty seven miles an hour. Well, yes, and you want
- 1:46:25Speaker 12: me to not do that in an effort to move
- 1:46:29Speaker 12: us forward? And that's all I'm I don't understand. We
- 1:46:35Speaker 12: went from get this money, get money, get any means
- 1:46:40Speaker 12: we'll get to the bag. We was all about the bag,
- 1:46:45Speaker 12: and this is a legal way to get the bag.
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: And now you don't want them to take that path.
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: But then why not call on everybody? No, I agree,
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: you're sensible. Why not call on all blacks in the
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: state of these stakes they feel or redrawing the line
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: not to go to work? Why only call Why only
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: send a mandate out for out of bounds? Why not
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: all of us?
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: There's because it's too it's going to be some people
- 1:47:14Speaker 3: are going to see it as it's too much of
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: a risk, Like why do I have to sacrifice? These
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: kids ain't made no money yet, they just go make
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: that money somewhere else, And that's where the sacrifice is.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: Trying to make a sacrifice without it costing anybody anything,
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: and half of that's why the whole thing doesn't mean.
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: Half of them.
- 1:47:33Speaker 12: Although they want the kids to do although they screamed
- 1:47:35Speaker 12: for the children to get the nil and the kids
- 1:47:38Speaker 12: in college to get paid for playing sports because they
- 1:47:41Speaker 12: called it modern day slavery, they really don't respect the
- 1:47:44Speaker 12: effort it takes to become a professional athlete because now
- 1:47:48Speaker 12: that they're professional athletes, they feel like it's just so
- 1:47:52Speaker 12: easy to be one that you can throw those opportunities away.
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: I don't work life to get here.
- 1:47:59Speaker 12: And now you want me to say, and this is
- 1:48:01Speaker 12: what people who are supporting it that I talked to
- 1:48:04Speaker 12: actually saying, if they will pay you that money to
- 1:48:06Speaker 12: go to LSU, they will pay you that same money
- 1:48:09Speaker 12: to go to Illinois, like they don't already have somebody there.
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: The SEC is the most powerful, Yeah, why would why
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: would you go make less you could take that SEC
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: is one step away from not even participating with the
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: rest of the country. And that's what I said, that
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: the SEC is about to be just SEC.
- 1:48:33Speaker 14: And you know, the beauty of this is the thing
- 1:48:37Speaker 14: that yourself for Jock and a lot of the former
- 1:48:40Speaker 14: SEC players Dante's star work them they're really speaking out
- 1:48:44Speaker 14: and speaking in the same manner you are not. And
- 1:48:46Speaker 14: I like that they're sticking up and sticking together because
- 1:48:49Speaker 14: they're coming to say, like I said, we went through this.
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: All I'm saying is my mom ain't work since nineteen
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: ninety three. And say it again.
- 1:48:57Speaker 14: Say it again, people back, Say it again to war Eagle,
- 1:49:03Speaker 14: say it again.
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: What damn eg We'll be right up. That's what you say?
- 1:49:10Speaker 31: What Dan?
- 1:49:13Speaker 27: Much conversation was a flat sold you to safe combinations
- 1:49:16Speaker 27: and all.
- 1:49:19Speaker 6: I trust this, don't go away. Board of the Sports
- 1:49:23Speaker 6: Josh Show with Wayne Gams. Videos comming up.
- 1:49:26Speaker 7: Next, and now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 1:49:30Speaker 7: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:49:33Speaker 7: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:49:37Speaker 7: have life insurance.
- 1:49:38Speaker 26: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:49:40Speaker 26: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind. What
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:49:48Speaker 26: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:49:50Speaker 26: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:49:52Speaker 26: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:49:54Speaker 26: the insurance informant.
- 1:49:55Speaker 7: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:49:58Speaker 7: security no matter what stage of wipe you're in.
- 1:50:00Speaker 26: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:50:03Speaker 26: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:50:05Speaker 7: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:07Speaker 7: whether you earn a little or a lot. All you

- 1:50:12Speaker 7: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:50:15Speaker 7: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?

- 1:51:40Speaker 23: Can we put a spin on life and sports and
- 1:51:43Speaker 23: how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: Welcome back to the shop. This shock Wayne Canon. The
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: fourth of July is coming soon. Joey Chestnut, the hot
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: Dog Eating Competition Champion, uh A champion, and a lot
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: of other things. Eating play guilty to last year's battery charge.
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: UH played guilty after the competition at a bar, had
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: to open hands, slap somebody. That's that's that's that whate't
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: the last time you've just been slapped, like not punched,
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: because slap means something else, right, and somebody to slap
- 1:52:39Speaker 1: you is a different than them punching you. They're trying
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: to give a different.
- 1:52:44Speaker 12: Emotion to slap is ownership you You you've somehow placed
- 1:52:49Speaker 12: us in a in a uh a uh subservient like
- 1:52:55Speaker 12: you know, there's a dominant and a subservient, like what
- 1:52:59Speaker 12: did they call it?
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: In the workplace, you have to.
- 1:53:01Speaker 12: Have support, subordinate subordinate, right, Slapping is what you do
- 1:53:06Speaker 12: to subordinates. I mean we I'll punch my equal, I'll
- 1:53:10Speaker 12: slap the subordinates. So if you put your hands on
- 1:53:13Speaker 12: me with open hand, and and I don't try and
- 1:53:16Speaker 12: bite your.
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: Comand you big Kenny bad? Does somebody slap you? Do
- 1:53:20Speaker 1: you first? You're gonna paul like you slap me? Did this?
- 1:53:23Speaker 1: Just slap me? What's going on? Like? Do I know you?
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: Like when first of all we to know each other
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: and slap each other. First of all, I want to
- 1:53:30Speaker 3: I'm thinking who who he think he is? Then I'm
- 1:53:34Speaker 3: starting to wonder who he sees me in he doesn't slap,
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: I mean, you know, might not get a response. Somebody
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: punch you. You start fighting somebody slap you.
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: You mean Russians. Hold on, sir, you have some questions.
- 1:53:46Speaker 3: Hold on, holdone, Tony, is that you I'm saying, now, well,
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: let's make sure that we are who we.
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: Supposed to be. Now, what's going on here? Tony Tyson
- 1:53:59Speaker 1: Fury made to news the boxer a lot of people
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: upset over in the Isle of Man he let his
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: daughter get married. She's only sixteen years old. She married
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: another boxer who's nineteen years old. But I was looking
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: it up. In our country, thirty three states still allow
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: for marriage of sixteen seventeen year olds with parents consent,
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: So it's still on the books in the US with
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: parents consent, parents consent, you can get married at sixteen.
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: So and that was just hey, yeah, I mean in
- 1:54:38Speaker 1: the UK, it's well, I'm saying, even in our country,
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: your sixteen year old can come to you and with
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: the consent of the parents, get married. As much as
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: it sounds forn because you know, we hear things as Americans.
- 1:54:51Speaker 1: It's like, oh, everything in our lives started eighteen but
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: on the book still in your state, this is still true.
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: That's a It's an example of the UH Americans seeing
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: thinking all their the American laws apply around the world
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: because you know we're the we're the world leader. And
- 1:55:15Speaker 3: that's not the case.
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: Mexican journalists Fernando Vargas got car jack while doing a
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: actual live report. He was calling in on video to
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: the studio and while he was doing the basketball report
- 1:55:31Speaker 1: from his cam in his car, you could see somebody
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: carjacking it. Give it up. Have you ever been carjacked? No,
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: I've never been carjacked. It's very interesting. He's giving you
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: know how you called in video chat into things and
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: you can actually see the guy on the camera to.
- 1:55:50Speaker 3: Give it up, get it out the car. He got
- 1:55:52Speaker 3: out the car and then the clip cut off. But
- 1:55:55Speaker 3: for Nando Vargas, that's not that criminal man. You picked
- 1:55:59Speaker 3: the get the phone, yeah, get the camera.
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: Excuse me? Was going to say he was live, He
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: was live. He was in the car. Wait and he
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: was videoing into the studio ye skyping in whatever you know,
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: stream yard whatever they were using. And while he was
- 1:56:18Speaker 1: doing the report, Hey, for Nando, what do you think
- 1:56:22Speaker 1: about the team tonight? Well? I think, hey, let me
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: get that home boy. And he had to run it
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: right there live, run it right, get out the car
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: and you can see him getting out of the car,
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: and then it kind of falls off because at first
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: that you could even the guy in the studio can't
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: figure out what's going on, right, yeah, he So they
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: don't know to go to the they don't realize he's
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: getting carjacked and just drop it. They're kind of not
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: figuring out what's going on. Very interesting clip if you
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: get in Fernando Barge's not the boxer, a reporter, Mexican
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: journalists down in Mexico getting car jack What else do
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: we have here? Terrell Owens, upset with his manager, says
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: he's found out over the years he feels like she
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: has been suing, I mean suing, stealing from him, charging
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: extra fees. His terror ole Owens and a little he
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: was a little angry went off on her. He says.
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: It's funny that if it was in reverse, how this
- 1:57:22Speaker 1: would be breaking news, but when it happens to the athlete,
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: it doesn't register to anyone. When the athlete doesn't even
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: reverse it can getting into is one of those guys,
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: you know, he's been in the media in all kinds
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: of ways, so he really is kind of like Michael
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: Irvin back in the day. When he was like, you know,
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: you reported on but when.
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: Y'all apologize, nobody nobody heard about the apology. Pies back
- 1:57:48Speaker 3: there with the massage parlor ads in the stats, and.
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: We didn't all been to the massage ads have all right?
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: All right, no is it illegal?
- 1:58:02Speaker 3: No?
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: I don't think so. It's in the paper massages, they said,
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: that's where they put it when they apologize. Ain't got
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: nothing to doue. Okay, okay, next to the.
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: Next to the stuff that nobody else was supposed to
- 1:58:15Speaker 3: be reading page twelve.
- 1:58:19Speaker 12: People don't want to know did you see the apology?
- 1:58:21Speaker 12: They want to know why you were on page twelve.
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: And as we go to break, I think commanche greg
- 1:58:27Speaker 1: mentioned the waffle house workers are having a strike last week. Yeah,
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: they had, They had a rally. They wanted twenty five
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: dollars an hour. Yes, what is that? Some kind of
- 1:58:37Speaker 1: figure where we'll start at twenty five and meet you
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: at seventeen.
- 1:58:42Speaker 3: They want a twenty five dollars an hour raise, or
- 1:58:45Speaker 3: they want minimum wait minimum wait an hour, so one
- 1:58:50Speaker 3: dollar more per hour than the hours.
- 1:58:54Speaker 1: That they're open, something like that. They wanted twenty five
- 1:58:59Speaker 1: dollars an hour as a wet minimum wage. They wanted
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: twenty four hours of security. They want the waite house
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: to have a security person there twenty four hours a day.
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: And they don't want to and they don't want to
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: have to pay for the meal they eat at work.
- 1:59:22Speaker 1: They want to be able to eat free. Now you
- 1:59:24Speaker 1: gotta you can get a discount.
- 1:59:26Speaker 14: I mean all of us, unless you work for Marriyout
- 1:59:28Speaker 14: that's the only place I know that gave me three
- 1:59:29Speaker 14: squalls a day.
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: But no, so when they want scatter smother than cover chump,
- 1:59:34Speaker 1: they want it free. And you expect us to pay
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: for all that and still give you twenty five Come on, man,
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: e a math problem, A desire, I don't. It's not
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: like I don't desire to keep you safe.
- 1:59:47Speaker 12: It's just to do you know how much twenty four
- 1:59:49Speaker 12: hour round the clock security costs.
- 1:59:51Speaker 3: And then I got to and then I've got to
- 1:59:53Speaker 3: pay you twenty five dollars an hour, and then you
- 1:59:57Speaker 3: want tips and and and everybody and and and so okay,
- 2:00:05Speaker 3: you get free, but that free meal is limited to
- 2:00:12Speaker 3: either cereal or a salad. No, no salads are too
- 2:00:18Speaker 3: oat meal or cereal and toast may toast.
- 2:00:23Speaker 12: And then they've been complaining about that because if you
- 2:00:26Speaker 12: eat and free, everybody want a t bone when you
- 2:00:28Speaker 12: eat free.
- 2:00:29Speaker 1: So that's that's a lot limited. Yeah, they want their
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: meal free. That's a lot.
- 2:00:36Speaker 12: I managed waffle houses and barely could eat free. That's
- 2:00:40Speaker 12: the only reason they gave me the meal freeze, because
- 2:00:42Speaker 12: I was the manager of the store.
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: That's a lot.
- 2:00:45Speaker 12: And then they would it was stuff like, hey, be
- 2:00:48Speaker 12: careful trying to eat steaks, and stuff like you can
- 2:00:50Speaker 12: eat the chicken, but don't eat the steaks.
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: So that's a lot. That's a lot, and we are
- 2:00:58Speaker 1: The truth is you will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:01:02Speaker 23: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk

- 2:02:03Speaker 1: sometimes it's other things and then sometimes it's you, Kansas
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: City Receiver Rashi Rice, you would blessed to get probation.
- 2:02:18Speaker 1: A lot of us thought you needed to do some
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: jail time for the first time you have surgery, and
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: I would imagine I don't know how this story completely,
- 2:02:30Speaker 1: but they found out that you valilated the marijuana policy.
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: But we didn't all have for that, ma FOI right.
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: We didn't all pluck the drug tests, am I right? No, right,
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: which violated his probation. We didn't all well did probation.
- 2:02:53Speaker 1: Just mesh Rice, who had surgery last week to help
- 2:02:58Speaker 1: his knee out a week later. I don't know if
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: you give rehab in jail, but Kennedy, you get rehabbed.
- 2:03:05Speaker 3: If you gotta jail, if you get shanked, have an
- 2:03:09Speaker 3: ice tube and ice instant.
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: Hey, they don't care nothing about your sports career to
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: ain't nobody and they get you with the heat therapy. Oh,
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: they stretch you out, but not the way you want.
- 2:03:25Speaker 3: They're not trying to They're not trying to loosen your hamstring.
- 2:03:30Speaker 1: Thirty days he's been mandated to serve as or shed
- 2:03:34Speaker 1: Rise just got his career kind of in the right
- 2:03:37Speaker 1: direction after the incident he had last year violating his parole.
- 2:03:43Speaker 1: The thing I thought about, will the NFL count this
- 2:03:46Speaker 1: as a positive drug test? I don't know the mandate
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: or the laws. I have to figure that out because
- 2:03:54Speaker 1: that could easily be an eight game suspension right there
- 2:03:59Speaker 1: with the fill and thirty days days in jail. All
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: had to do was make it through propration and all
- 2:04:06Speaker 1: the charges would have been drop that. We must be good, man.
- 2:04:10Speaker 1: That's why I don't try.
- 2:04:11Speaker 3: They had you on pain killers? Boy, what you thinking about?
- 2:04:18Speaker 3: What y'all call it zof? We talking about them painkillers?
- 2:04:21Speaker 3: That's what I know what you're talking about. But he
- 2:04:24Speaker 3: was like he had him on them.
- 2:04:25Speaker 1: Listen, I've had zof. It ain't worth it.
- 2:04:29Speaker 3: If they told me just to get off probation and
- 2:04:32Speaker 3: go back to my million dollar job.
- 2:04:34Speaker 1: I drink milk. So for that she Rice walked up.
- 2:04:50Speaker 1: I remember the car crash about two years ago. You
- 2:04:53Speaker 1: had and you left the scene of the crime. Remember
- 2:04:55Speaker 1: that at the air. But we didn't all left the
- 2:04:58Speaker 1: scene of a crime. Am I right? All right? We
- 2:05:01Speaker 1: don't know playing say a crime?
- 2:05:04Speaker 29: Right?
- 2:05:04Speaker 1: Please? You see he ain't on that with you. But
- 2:05:09Speaker 1: I've never lived the scene. Is that the legal from
- 2:05:11Speaker 1: the Sports Shock show? As we Yes, it wasn't. Ye,
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: it's a crime. I wasn't. We'll see you in the future.
- 2:05:20Speaker 1: That adds to the time you get. If you leave
- 2:05:22Speaker 1: the scene, that's a that's a total different charge leaving
- 2:05:26Speaker 1: the scene, but a crime. But it wasn't no scene,
- 2:05:29Speaker 1: you said. It's a different charge. Yeah, there's the crime
- 2:05:32Speaker 1: you committed, and then there's leaving the scene of that crime.
- 2:05:38Speaker 1: Did We'll see you in the future. Peace, m
- 2:05:50Speaker 30: Mm hmm.
