A 27-year-old man, Harold Patterson, is back in West Virginia after being arrested in North Carolina to face a first-degree murder charge tied to a fiery crash on Cabin Creek Road. The victim’s identity was confirmed after autopsy results, and multiple agencies across both states collaborated to link Patterson to the crime. Initially agreeing to return, Patterson delayed for a month—finally arriving Friday—and is set to appear in Kanawha County Magistrate Court on July 27th. The case is now officially moving forward.
