- 0:21Speaker 1: Bomani Jones going to join us the right time with
- 0:24Speaker 1: Bomani Jones wherever you get your podcast, it's fantastic.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You know, he likes to judge music, So.
- 0:30Speaker 3: No, Bumoni.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Should I waste your time playing four Jalen bruntson songs
- 0:34Speaker 1: done by Taylor?
- 0:36Speaker 4: Definitely not four? All right, I don't. I don't know
- 0:40Speaker 4: about one necessarily, but I am odd and I like
- 0:45Speaker 4: Taylor a great deal. But there's never been a moment
- 0:47Speaker 4: that I'd been like, yo, you got some jams.
- 0:51Speaker 5: Bomony, just to show how much I like you. Stu said,
- 0:53Speaker 5: should be playing Bomani the Jaylen Brothers songs. I said,
- 0:56Speaker 5: absolutely not.
- 0:57Speaker 4: You know what I I appreciate everybody knowing everybody, putting
- 1:01Speaker 4: everybody in position to be successful. I don't like to
- 1:03Speaker 4: be a skold, you know what I mean?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yes, I know that.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I don't want that he respects your time more than
- 1:09Speaker 1: he respects mine.
- 1:12Speaker 4: I think the other part of that is he thinks
- 1:14Speaker 4: you're a nicer person than I am.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Well, he takes your cooler. I can tell you that much,
- 1:18Speaker 3: that's for sure.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I consider you a mentor of sorts.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Yes, I think that's a plausible theory. You know what
- 1:24Speaker 4: I mean.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yes, yes, he said, he considers you, Bomani, to be
- 1:27Speaker 1: a mentor of sorts. Do you consider yourself to be
- 1:30Speaker 1: a mentor of sorts of tailor.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Today? I do? Today? I do. He and I have
- 1:38Speaker 4: a mutual friend that I would think I'm a little
- 1:40Speaker 4: bit of a mentor too. And I think that that
- 1:42Speaker 4: mutual friends a bit of a mentor toward Taylor. So
- 1:44Speaker 4: with a certain transitivity, you know, takes a village, you
- 1:47Speaker 4: know what I mean?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Take us through if you don't mind, Bomani. The Knicks
- 1:52Speaker 1: who trailed by twenty two points with eight nineteen left
- 1:56Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter. They ended the game on a
- 1:58Speaker 1: forty four to eleven run.
- 2:00Speaker 3: They win in Game one.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I'm not certain it means anything because whoever wins this
- 2:04Speaker 1: series is gonna have to face Wemby in the finals,
- 2:07Speaker 1: it seems like. But take us through your thoughts there
- 2:09Speaker 1: as the Knicks made that comeback, you.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Know it was wild.
- 2:12Speaker 4: I went to Yankee Stadium and I left in the
- 2:14Speaker 4: seventh inning, so I didn't even get to see bred
- 2:16Speaker 4: Boone get thrown out of the game. Right, so I leave,
- 2:19Speaker 4: I come home. I want to say the caves are
- 2:21Speaker 4: up by seventeen. But as I'm watching it, I'll tweet
- 2:23Speaker 4: them my buddy of any goodwill at ESPN, and I
- 2:26Speaker 4: think it's a twelve point game. He's at Massive Square
- 2:29Speaker 4: Guard and he says, the Knicks are going to win
- 2:31Speaker 4: this game, and sure enough, it only took a couple
- 2:34Speaker 4: of more minutes and it was like, oh wow, the
- 2:35Speaker 4: Knicks are going to win this game. And it came
- 2:37Speaker 4: down to Jimbo. They were lighting Jimbo up every time
- 2:41Speaker 4: they went down the floor. They were targeting Jim Harden
- 2:43Speaker 4: and then from there at the end, Jimbo decided he
- 2:46Speaker 4: was gonna be the one to take the shots, and
- 2:48Speaker 4: he made one of them. But the audacity, like why
- 2:51Speaker 4: would you think that you gonna save the day? Why?
- 2:55Speaker 6: Right when did you start calling him jim It's so
- 2:58Speaker 6: good Jimbo.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Oh no, I've had friends that have been calling good
- 3:02Speaker 4: Jim for a while, but I've taken it like now
- 3:04Speaker 4: he's Jimbo. Like we've taken it all the way to Jimbo.
- 3:07Speaker 4: And I don't know why calling him Jim is so insulting.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Right like this, if James Hardt pulled up on me,
- 3:12Speaker 4: it was like, look, you got you're gonna get enough
- 3:14Speaker 4: of calling me jim I would understand it, but I
- 3:17Speaker 4: don't understand why it's so disrespectful.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Right, I was cheering every time Jimbo put up a
- 3:22Speaker 1: shot as a Nick fan, I was cheering.
- 3:24Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, yeah, I was.
- 3:25Speaker 4: But to say, so, are you actually like a for
- 3:27Speaker 4: real Knicks fan now? Like it hasn't really been germane
- 3:30Speaker 4: in the time that I've known you, you know what
- 3:31Speaker 4: I mean? Like you jumped all the way.
- 3:33Speaker 3: On, No, all the way on.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So here's the difference between me and Taylor. This is
- 3:37Speaker 1: the closest Tailor's ever been to winning an NBA championship.
- 3:40Speaker 1: He was not all right, He's not alive. He wasn't
- 3:44Speaker 1: alive when the Heat were a game away, a half away,
- 3:47Speaker 1: a quarter away from winning it in the nineties, when
- 3:49Speaker 1: Jordan took two years off. So yes, I am fully
- 3:53Speaker 1: in on this next team. I'm excited for it.
- 3:54Speaker 3: But money basketball basketball is better when the Knicks are good.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Isn't that fair? I set agree. I mean, I've been
- 4:02Speaker 4: living here for nine years. I want to see this.
- 4:05Speaker 4: This city will be happier when the Knicks are good, right,
- 4:08Speaker 4: Like it's a better when I first moved here.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Man.
- 4:10Speaker 4: The only thing they stop and ask me is, way, man,
- 4:12Speaker 4: can you tell me something about the Knicks? They would
- 4:14Speaker 4: be begging me to say something nice about the Knicks,
- 4:16Speaker 4: Like everything that anybody's ever said about Knicks fans being jerks, Now, man,
- 4:19Speaker 4: they've been humble, they really really had And if they
- 4:22Speaker 4: can make it to the finals, I really do think
- 4:24Speaker 4: it would make living here a much better thing to do,
- 4:26Speaker 4: you know what I mean? Bo?
- 4:28Speaker 6: I know James Harden should get a lot of that blame,
- 4:31Speaker 6: But how much does Donovan Mitchell deserve for letting that happen?
- 4:34Speaker 6: Or is that Kenny Atkinson for letting James Harden not
- 4:37Speaker 6: just be on the floor but take over, try to
- 4:39Speaker 6: take over the game at times?
- 4:41Speaker 4: Well that's a good question, right Like is he supposed
- 4:44Speaker 4: to steal the passes? Is he supposed to punch James Harden? Like?
- 4:46Speaker 4: I like? And I don't have the answer for it.
- 4:48Speaker 4: I do think, Kenny Atkinson, somebody's got somebody has to
- 4:51Speaker 4: be in charge, and I don't know who it can be,
- 4:54Speaker 4: but I know who it can't be. It can't be
- 4:57Speaker 4: James Harden, right Like, Like he was empowered to make
- 5:00Speaker 4: a level of decision that, honestly, I thought he had
- 5:02Speaker 4: helped himself and realized were not his decisions to make,
- 5:05Speaker 4: like his new game. Seventh thing when he falls apart
- 5:08Speaker 4: is that he just doesn't take the shots. Like I
- 5:11Speaker 4: thought that he had come to a certain realization that
- 5:13Speaker 4: he kind of needed to step back. Maybe it was
- 5:15Speaker 4: Mitchell and the ankle. I have no idea, but I
- 5:18Speaker 4: do Taylor will tell you from watching Roy Williams coach
- 5:23Speaker 4: basketball a long time, having timeouts in your pocket that
- 5:26Speaker 4: you can't take with you never goes over well with
- 5:28Speaker 4: the faithful, and he just needed to call one, yeah,
- 5:31Speaker 4: and just be like, hey, hey, let's show this out
- 5:33Speaker 4: a little bit now. Would calling a time out has
- 5:35Speaker 4: stopped the fact that James Harden was food? Probably not,
- 5:39Speaker 4: but I do think it was worth a try, Like
- 5:41Speaker 4: your ego should at least let you believe something I
- 5:44Speaker 4: say might be able to help you the coach.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yes, And I think in that time out, if you
- 5:48Speaker 1: just say hey, hey, hey, that's that's all you have
- 5:50Speaker 1: to second, just calm down.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Everyone, Yes, everything's going to be cool. Baby. It's alright, man,
- 5:56Speaker 4: it's all right.
- 5:57Speaker 1: It's so funny what Atkinson is getting today. But how
- 6:00Speaker 1: do you know how this works? Because Shaman hits a
- 6:02Speaker 1: shot that had no business going in, okay, and then
- 6:05Speaker 1: Merrill hit a shot that should have went in.
- 6:08Speaker 4: And yet here's Kenny.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Hackinson after the game talking about why he loves his
- 6:12Speaker 1: time out so much.
- 6:13Speaker 4: I mean, oh my god, that Mike Breen having to
- 6:15Speaker 4: take the bang back, Yes, was pretty funny. And I
- 6:18Speaker 4: would also like to make this note, And I mean,
- 6:23Speaker 4: I'm just saying we all need to operate with an
- 6:25Speaker 4: understanding of the way that people see the world and
- 6:27Speaker 4: the assumptions that people make. So this is based on
- 6:30Speaker 4: the I'm operating off of other people's assumptions, and not
- 6:33Speaker 4: that I subscribe to the assumptions myself. All I'm saying
- 6:36Speaker 4: is Sam Merrill is right there, James Harden and no,
- 6:40Speaker 4: they want you to play. Okay. Everywhere that Sam Merrill
- 6:45Speaker 4: has gone is showing up to play. They have gone
- 6:48Speaker 4: right at him every single time to see if he
- 6:51Speaker 4: could guard anybody. He expects it, he knows it. When
- 6:54Speaker 4: he pulls up if football, they call him a milk check.
- 6:57Speaker 4: They know that they don't see if he can play defense,
- 7:00Speaker 4: but they are like, nah, nah, nah, let that white
- 7:03Speaker 4: boy be in peace over there. We could stay over there.
- 7:06Speaker 4: That might mess up our playing. We coming right at you, Jim,
- 7:09Speaker 4: right at you for him, that's got to be embarrassing.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Bo, since you are in New York, I want to
- 7:17Speaker 6: just get a gauge of what they think of Jalen Brunson,
- 7:20Speaker 6: because he's just so impressive, like just so impressive, and
- 7:24Speaker 6: the way he gets it done, and regardless if he
- 7:27Speaker 6: doesn't have one, if he never even gets one, right now,
- 7:30Speaker 6: he's got to be peak of New York fandom.
- 7:33Speaker 4: He's the king. He's the king. Like the thing you
- 7:35Speaker 4: have to remember about the Knicks is it's the only
- 7:39Speaker 4: unifying force in this city. Right, That's the thing about
- 7:42Speaker 4: the Lakers in LA where the Clippers don't really exist.
- 7:44Speaker 4: And I think the nets are kind of the same here,
- 7:46Speaker 4: and also the nets are new, but the Knicks are
- 7:49Speaker 4: the only thing everybody shares. Like when they played the
- 7:51Speaker 4: Knicks score at Yankee Stadium last night, like it was applause,
- 7:54Speaker 4: Like everybody's on board with that. And so Brunson is unexpected, right,
- 8:00Speaker 4: he plays with a certain style and ethos that they
- 8:03Speaker 4: like around here. If they managed to go to the finals,
- 8:06Speaker 4: is he as good a player as Patrick Ewing, probably
- 8:08Speaker 4: not will they love him as much as Patrick Ewing
- 8:11Speaker 4: ab solutely? I mean, and the other part is important
- 8:15Speaker 4: other than a Mary Stottemeyer. And I guess you could
- 8:17Speaker 4: say Carmelo Anthony, But there aren't that many people who
- 8:20Speaker 4: signed up to say, all right, I'm going to be
- 8:21Speaker 4: the dude to make this happen. And the guy who
- 8:23Speaker 4: did is the one that's six one or six two. Yeah,
- 8:26Speaker 4: you know, like, oh no, no, no, this is this
- 8:28Speaker 4: is his town.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Ye Are both those teams playing for second place? Meaning
- 8:32Speaker 1: the Caves of the Knicks playing for second?
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yeah? Yes, I do think that no matter who wins
- 8:37Speaker 4: the West, I have not completely bailed on the possibility
- 8:39Speaker 4: that Oklahoma City can win the West, but I do
- 8:41Speaker 4: think whoever's playing in the East is playing for second place.
- 8:44Speaker 4: I think the NBA obviously would like to have King
- 8:47Speaker 4: Kong comes to New York City. Let me be careful
- 8:50Speaker 4: about saying King call, because if STU guys called him
- 8:53Speaker 4: King Kong, it might turn into an international incident. I
- 8:55Speaker 4: think on my end, everybody understands I'm just saying that
- 8:58Speaker 4: he's a fee tall, you know what I mean, And
- 9:00Speaker 4: so don't try this at home necessarily. I'm just letting
- 9:02Speaker 4: everybody know. Thanks, but yeah, Victor comes to New York City.
- 9:06Speaker 4: I've already gotten to calling friends and being like, so,
- 9:09Speaker 4: what's the most we're willing to pay for a ticket? Right?
- 9:12Speaker 2: What is that number?
- 9:13Speaker 4: By the way, not to check your po I need
- 9:15Speaker 4: to hear what somebody else says, to hear if it
- 9:18Speaker 4: hits me too hard. Right. I asked my brother and
- 9:21Speaker 4: he said five hundred. And I know that's not gonna
- 9:23Speaker 4: cut it.
- 9:25Speaker 3: For five hundred. Yeah, no, oh no.
- 9:26Speaker 4: We gonna be up there with Adam Graves and Mike
- 9:29Speaker 4: Richter and Mark Messier and everybody else that got their
- 9:34Speaker 4: number retired. That's who will be sitting up there with
- 9:36Speaker 4: for five hundred dollars.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Yes, Bo, you mentioned how much New York loves Jalen
- 9:51Speaker 6: style of play. How much does the NBA It's fans
- 9:55Speaker 6: love and kind of need Wemby and everything that he
- 9:58Speaker 6: does because he's playing the perfect character that feels like.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Yes, he cares right like it is kind of a
- 10:06Speaker 4: all school sensibility with a new school style along with
- 10:10Speaker 4: along with being a type of big man that is
- 10:13Speaker 4: not going to have the goliath syndrome where everybody shows
- 10:15Speaker 4: up to root against him, right like that was the
- 10:17Speaker 4: wil Chamberlain conundrums, felt like nobody roots for Goliath. This
- 10:21Speaker 4: doesn't feel like Goliath, Like this feels like an SUV
- 10:25Speaker 4: that moves like a sports car, except it's not an HUV.
- 10:27Speaker 4: It's an eighteen wheeler. Like there's just there's this whole
- 10:31Speaker 4: process of watching him and just trying to make sense
- 10:34Speaker 4: of what it is that was before I can't. I
- 10:36Speaker 4: think maybe the seven lebron game against Detroit is the
- 10:40Speaker 4: last time. I think, truly for me, it was Randon
- 10:42Speaker 4: the first time I saw Randy Molso Monday night football
- 10:44Speaker 4: where you watch something, or Michael Vick and the Sugar
- 10:46Speaker 4: Bowl where you watch something and you're just like, I
- 10:48Speaker 4: just didn't know that this was possible. And it's not
- 10:50Speaker 4: like this is the first time I've ever watched him play,
- 10:53Speaker 4: right like, and I saw him doing incredible things, but
- 10:55Speaker 4: that was just like, what are we doing here?
- 10:59Speaker 2: It's like he I have to play the best I
- 11:01Speaker 2: can play and.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Just did yes, yes, yes, and did it and do
- 11:04Speaker 1: it again. He'll do it again, right go ahead, Mike
- 11:08Speaker 1: bo You.
- 11:08Speaker 7: And I did one hundred thousand segments at ESPN. We
- 11:11Speaker 7: work together, and for some reason, some of them just
- 11:13Speaker 7: stand out to me. And one of them was when
- 11:15Speaker 7: you described the difference between big man and tall man,
- 11:19Speaker 7: like and I look.
- 11:20Speaker 4: At Wenby and I'm like, that's a tall man. But
- 11:22Speaker 4: he plays like big man. He does, but like it's
- 11:26Speaker 4: he's so tall that it almost takes away the need
- 11:30Speaker 4: to be big and away. I do think he's stronger
- 11:32Speaker 4: than people will give him credit for. Like he's obviously wiry.
- 11:35Speaker 4: And I saw a quote with him when he came
- 11:37Speaker 4: into the leagu where everybodys how about him getting bigger.
- 11:39Speaker 4: He's like, no, I need to get stronger, okay. But
- 11:44Speaker 4: when he dunked on hit with two hands at the end,
- 11:46Speaker 4: there that's a big man move, like like Carl Anthony Towns,
- 11:50Speaker 4: who is much sturdier than him. You're not going to
- 11:52Speaker 4: see him do something like that. But when you can
- 11:55Speaker 4: dunk standing flat footed, I imagine it allows you, you know
- 11:58Speaker 4: a little more. For me, and I think maybe the
- 12:01Speaker 4: best part of that game for Victor was he only
- 12:04Speaker 4: took two three pointers. One of them obviously was the
- 12:06Speaker 4: ridiculous one that he took at the end. That's the
- 12:08Speaker 4: only one that he made. They say that the reason
- 12:10Speaker 4: he doesn't play inside more is that it is tiring,
- 12:13Speaker 4: and I can understand that. But to me, if he
- 12:15Speaker 4: goes out and decides I'm never going to shoot a
- 12:18Speaker 4: three pointer, there will be nothing you can do with him. Like,
- 12:21Speaker 4: I feel like that's him guarding himself.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Quick nugget on that three pointer.
- 12:25Speaker 6: By the way, in such a obviously huge moment, it
- 12:30Speaker 6: was the deepest shot he's ever hit in his career.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Yep, yes, yes, And he looked completely fearless, like that
- 12:36Speaker 4: was not a guy taking a shot like because he
- 12:38Speaker 4: was scared. Here's just they got two for one situation.
- 12:41Speaker 4: I should probably put this shot up. And then when
- 12:42Speaker 4: it went in, I just can't imagine what it was
- 12:44Speaker 4: like being the thunder, Like you gotta be kidding. And
- 12:48Speaker 4: by the way, the thing is, he hates them. That's
- 12:51Speaker 4: the best part about all of this. He hates checked,
- 12:54Speaker 4: and so the rest of the team hates the rest
- 12:56Speaker 4: of their team because the twenty two year old says,
- 12:59Speaker 4: we hate them, and even the grown ups are like, yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 4: we hate him, you're right, Yeah, yeah, we hate them.
- 13:04Speaker 1: There are so many impressive things about him and his game,
- 13:07Speaker 1: but I think the most impressive thing.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Bo is he could take that shot. He shoots it
- 13:11Speaker 3: like steph.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It comes out naturally, like imagine Zoe taking that shot,
- 13:14Speaker 1: you know.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah, right, No, it's how is this possible? It's crazy?
- 13:20Speaker 4: How is this? I've talked about this many times. Uh,
- 13:23Speaker 4: me and my guy Ryan, my producer on the right time,
- 13:25Speaker 4: we talked about this, and I think this is an
- 13:26Speaker 4: important thing to note. I was there for that first
- 13:30Speaker 4: Summer League game in Las Vegas, Like I went specifically
- 13:33Speaker 4: to see it to be able to say that I
- 13:35Speaker 4: was there, right, And I remember everybody on the internet
- 13:38Speaker 4: had jokes because it was turnover as he's losing his dribble.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Everybody in the arena was like, oh buddy, right, everybody
- 13:45Speaker 4: that had a lanyard around their neck. Yeah, we were
- 13:47Speaker 4: not laughing. We were like, oh, oh hey, guys, something's
- 13:51Speaker 4: about to happen here. And it's he's only twenty two, right,
- 13:54Speaker 4: Like I guess this is the same age Lebron was
- 13:56Speaker 4: where he had that game against the Pistons. This appears
- 13:59Speaker 4: to just be the begin.
- 14:01Speaker 5: But MANI if you were an NBA GM and you
- 14:03Speaker 5: were starting a team, would you rather have Wemby or
- 14:07Speaker 5: any other player? In the NBA plus the first pick
- 14:10Speaker 5: in this loaded draft.
- 14:12Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, I'm taking Victor. Well, well, we'll
- 14:15Speaker 4: we'll work the rest out. I will just note, and
- 14:16Speaker 4: I think this draft is going to be very good,
- 14:19Speaker 4: but I will note that the last time we felt
- 14:21Speaker 4: this way about a draft was twenty fourteen, and the
- 14:24Speaker 4: top three picks of that draft were Andrew Wiggis, Jabari Parker,
- 14:27Speaker 4: and Joel mb Now. I mean, bid has turned out
- 14:29Speaker 4: to be a Hall of Famer, an MVP, but one
- 14:31Speaker 4: with obviously a fragile body. Those other two guys, it
- 14:34Speaker 4: didn't go that way. I've seen the advanced numbers. Guys
- 14:37Speaker 4: have some skepticism about Debonsa because he takes a few
- 14:40Speaker 4: too many content contested twos. I have questions about Boozer
- 14:44Speaker 4: and his level of athleticism. We saw how that year
- 14:47Speaker 4: went for Peterson. I think Peterson could be excellent, but
- 14:51Speaker 4: there's still questions there in Caleb Wilson coming off the injury,
- 14:54Speaker 4: and I think the question is gonna be how much
- 14:56Speaker 4: range he ultimately has. No, give me the dude that's
- 14:59Speaker 4: eight feet with handles in a jumper. We'll work the
- 15:02Speaker 4: rest out from there.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Bo Manie I want to ask you about the Michael
- 15:04Speaker 1: Jackson movie. I will in a second. But what'd you
- 15:07Speaker 1: make of Jason Kidd being fired by the Dallas Mavericks.
- 15:11Speaker 4: I think the MASSI got there and understood the best
- 15:14Speaker 4: way to get any goodwill here is we're getting anybody
- 15:17Speaker 4: out of here that had any fingerprints on that trade.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Those people are still mad, like they they have to
- 15:22Speaker 4: watch all the Luca Doger trade off of the franchise.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I also think it is entirely possible that Jason Kidd
- 15:28Speaker 4: want it out of there. And if I were Mike Brown,
- 15:31Speaker 4: I would win this series because otherwise Jason Kidd is
- 15:35Speaker 4: probably coming for your job. That'd be so crazy, so
- 15:39Speaker 4: crazy the Knicks, Well, Kenny, I say, it's going to
- 15:41Speaker 4: allow him to win that series. Yeah, but I'd say
- 15:44Speaker 4: you this though. I think MASSI also knew that too,
- 15:46Speaker 4: Like this guy who wanted my job before I got
- 15:48Speaker 4: my job, we got to get him out of the building.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Yep.
- 15:51Speaker 1: How do you feel about John Shire taking over as
- 15:53Speaker 1: the MAVs head coach?
- 15:56Speaker 4: That would be funny, Like if John Shire did that,
- 16:00Speaker 4: it would be funny. I mean, I'd still feel the
- 16:01Speaker 4: same way I'm forced to feel about him just because
- 16:03Speaker 4: now that he's been Duke said coach, he could take
- 16:06Speaker 4: over UNISEF or the United Way or some other charity
- 16:10Speaker 4: that helps people, and they still be like, man bumped
- 16:12Speaker 4: that dude.
- 16:13Speaker 6: By the way, but you mentioned the draft Darren Peterson.
- 16:15Speaker 6: I actually think his year at Kansas did him a disservice.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Like if you go back and watch his old film,
- 16:20Speaker 6: that dude is ridiculous and you know, creating the cramping
- 16:23Speaker 6: stuff scared him off and just had a bad season.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I would draft him based on his pre Kansas.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Stuff if he could be like a better version of
- 16:31Speaker 4: call it Stefan Castle, right, which is kind of what
- 16:33Speaker 4: I hear people talk about with him. And he has
- 16:36Speaker 4: he has that like he's six', six but that's AN nba, body,
- 16:39Speaker 4: Right like he looks like a grown man out. There
- 16:41Speaker 4: if he can be that, Guy and this is WHAT
- 16:45Speaker 4: i don't know about, him is if he can play
- 16:47Speaker 4: on the, ball because what we are seeing Now Kate,
- 16:49Speaker 4: Cunningham Shaye Gildis alexander like this move into this era
- 16:53Speaker 4: of these six to six guys on the. Ball if
- 16:56Speaker 4: he could play on the. Ball, oh now we're talking
- 16:58Speaker 4: about something completely.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Different, yep we had added on earlier he said he
- 17:02Speaker 1: was disappointed with The Michael jackson movie that didn't tell
- 17:05Speaker 1: the entire?
- 17:05Speaker 3: Story did you see? It what'd you make of?
- 17:07Speaker 4: It?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Bo did you like? It?
- 17:09Speaker 4: YEAH i did See AND i don't know why he
- 17:10Speaker 4: would think they would tell the entire. Story that would
- 17:12Speaker 4: be terrible for, business, Right like they just try to
- 17:16Speaker 4: make people feel good and give you an opportunity to
- 17:19Speaker 4: listen to The Michael jackson songs in the. Theater it
- 17:21Speaker 4: is the only Movie i've ever seen, though where the
- 17:23Speaker 4: guy that is the hero the whole point of the
- 17:25Speaker 4: movie is to make you feel sorry for him like.
- 17:27Speaker 4: That that's a little bit. Different but like if what
- 17:31Speaker 4: you want to do is go in there and, like
- 17:32Speaker 4: here's Some Michael jackson songs and, laugh even though the
- 17:35Speaker 4: story apparently is, true Laughing Michael jackson teaching The Cripson
- 17:39Speaker 4: bloods how to, dance, right Like Michael jackson in there
- 17:41Speaker 4: on that five six seven eight with The cripson The.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Bloods it's not a bad way to spend.
