- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us
- 0:05Speaker 1: on air with Ryan Seacrest. You're on Kiss Harry Styles Aperture,
- 0:11Speaker 1: Bryan Seacrest and the Gang. We got Cisiny, we got Tanya.
- 0:15Speaker 1: We the intern at the back room. Who's over there?
- 0:19Speaker 1: We got Ruby. I see Lolo Martinez, I see mikayl
- 0:21Speaker 1: I see people on the end. I can't see him,
- 0:24Speaker 1: Phonsie back there. Wow, this is a real crew. Well,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I'm excited. I got up ready to go this morning.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I slept great. I think I created a like a
- 0:32Speaker 1: thing that I don't know if you know about that
- 0:34Speaker 1: maybe why we're not sleeping well. Sometimes I can't believe
- 0:37Speaker 1: it's it was a huge I didn't want to tell
- 0:39Speaker 1: you yet because I'm so it's it's so life changing.
- 0:42Speaker 1: It is such a eureka, and I stumbled upon it.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I was very like explorer like last night. I was
- 0:48Speaker 1: on a little adventure last night when I went to bed,
- 0:51Speaker 1: like you know, I'm like, you know, I'm starting to
- 0:52Speaker 1: think about things and night just things, you know, things,
- 0:56Speaker 1: And then I stumbled upon something that may be the
- 0:59Speaker 1: reason many of us don't sleep well. And I want
- 1:03Speaker 1: to tell you about it.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Tell me, I a'll tell you yet, Okay, don't tell me.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Oh he wants to tease us with it.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I just want to tell you, like, make sure you're
- 1:10Speaker 1: hearing a little bit.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It's pretty well last night too, because of something different
- 1:13Speaker 3: than I did.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I want to know because I think that
- 1:16Speaker 1: I'm dangerous when I sleep really well, Like you better
- 1:18Speaker 1: watch out my speed, my rhythm, like you think I'm
- 1:22Speaker 1: fast or you guys call it. It's kind of rudely impatient,
- 1:25Speaker 1: but fast.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I don't know if you want to deal with the
- 1:28Speaker 1: speed of me rested. I don't know if you want
- 1:30Speaker 1: that maybe in your step. Yeah, maybe it's a blessing.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I've been tired for twenty years. You not well, I
- 1:37Speaker 1: don't know, you watch out.
- 1:39Speaker 3: It's also weird to wake up, like this morning, I
- 1:41Speaker 3: woke up and I saw the moon outside my bathroom window.
- 1:44Speaker 2: In the moon.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to see the moon. I need sunrise,
- 1:49Speaker 1: but it is. Is it strange to wake up? And
- 1:51Speaker 1: I actually was like wow and just said it out
- 1:53Speaker 1: loud to myself. You slept great. That was when I
- 1:57Speaker 1: started my day.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Love that, Yeah, I love that you talk to yourself
- 2:00Speaker 2: in the morning.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I talk to myself, not only in the morning. Don't
- 2:03Speaker 1: she talk to yourself?
- 2:04Speaker 3: I know I don't really in my head. Only in
- 2:06Speaker 3: my head. I don't think I verbally talked to myself.
- 2:09Speaker 1: No, I'll talk to myself. I's a nice job. You
- 2:11Speaker 1: gotta get that. Come on, man, like all that stuff,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I do.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It maybe, okay, uh, all right.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Especially when I bike. When I bike on the path,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I sing out loud.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Are you back on biking?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yep? I mean I did it once because it's so
- 2:24Speaker 1: nice on Sunday. Yeah, but I'm back into it when
- 2:26Speaker 1: I go. I really love it. It's just it's a lot.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You got to pack the bike. I know, you gotta
- 2:30Speaker 1: move the bike, you gotta drive, you gotta find parking,
- 2:32Speaker 1: then you gotta get out, then you gotta lock the bike.
- 2:34Speaker 1: If it's a lot. But once you do it, it's
- 2:36Speaker 1: less difficult than skiing for me, Like skiing's too much
- 2:39Speaker 1: stuff to this.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I know one two point seven them.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that Ryan's roses this morning is coming up at
- 2:46Speaker 1: seven of forty, so make sure you got she caught
- 2:49Speaker 1: him messaging someone else not great, also drudged up some
- 2:52Speaker 1: things from the past. So seven forty we'll get into
- 2:54Speaker 1: the Ryan's roses. Have you ever looked under your bed?
- 2:59Speaker 4: No?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I know what's under there.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Last night, I don't know why. Before I went to bed,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I got down on all fours and I looked under
- 3:07Speaker 1: the bed, and I have two little things. I'm not
- 3:11Speaker 1: quite sure what the other one does, but I know
- 3:12Speaker 1: one's Wi Fi disc. It's got a little blue light,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and one is right underneath where my head is above
- 3:20Speaker 1: on the pillow, and the other I really am not
- 3:24Speaker 1: can I don't know what the other ones. But there's
- 3:25Speaker 1: not a little thingy down there.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Huh huh.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Tellus maybe you can chime in on this. But there's
- 3:30Speaker 1: two things under my bed, both of which are under
- 3:32Speaker 1: exactly where I put my head. So I thought, you know,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I didn't study it. Not a Silicon Valley genius. Let
- 3:42Speaker 1: me take those two things from under my bed and
- 3:44Speaker 1: put them to the side, way over long cords.
- 3:47Speaker 3: These are like the hubs for your WiFi. I have
- 3:49Speaker 3: one of these in my room and it's in their order.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Mine's underneath the bed, so put them in. I put
- 3:53Speaker 1: them outside the bed. I slept great. I'm starting to
- 3:56Speaker 1: think these things are sucking my brain and keep me
- 3:58Speaker 1: awake at night because they're direct and they're going whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and that woe is going into my woone And so
- 4:08Speaker 1: I was won won't listen last night, No, won't, And
- 4:10Speaker 1: I woke up but rested.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Wow.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Could it be that check under your bed tonight or
- 4:16Speaker 1: right now? Check under your bed? Do you have stuff going? Whoa, whoa,
- 4:20Speaker 1: whoa wall, move it to the side, breakthrough.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I love that for you, you.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Guys, take the show to ten. I'm gonna go out
- 4:29Speaker 1: take the rest of the day off, day off here,
- 4:32Speaker 1: I come, gotta get rid of it, Chris m Sabrina Carpenter.
- 4:36Speaker 4: There.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That reminded me that Barry Keyogan is coming on the
- 4:40Speaker 1: show tomorrow. Barry Keyogan, this guy. Now, they're not together anymore, right, Sabrina?
- 4:45Speaker 1: And do you tell me that.
- 4:46Speaker 5: You tell me that, yes, long long time ago.
- 4:48Speaker 1: But it's funny when you know, when you meet someone
- 4:52Speaker 1: and they're with someone, or you know, when you see
- 4:55Speaker 1: someone's dog and they're a puppy or someone's kid and
- 4:57Speaker 1: they're a kid and they don't see him for a
- 4:59Speaker 1: while and and they're not that same size anymore, sure, or
- 5:02Speaker 1: they're not together anymore. It's very difficult, tany. Once you
- 5:05Speaker 1: tell me and I see images and I hear songs
- 5:07Speaker 1: and stuff about a couple like Barry Kyogan and Brenda Carpenter,
- 5:10Speaker 1: is very difficult for me to move on. I'm with you,
- 5:13Speaker 1: like in my head, it's still they're assigned to each other.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Still me too.
- 5:17Speaker 6: If Sabrina hadn't had that little thing with Joe Kierri,
- 5:19Speaker 6: I feel like I still would put her in barried.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I don't. That doesn't even register register.
- 5:24Speaker 2: For me either.
- 5:25Speaker 5: She arrested him. It was her juno one time.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, but she has different juno's.
- 5:29Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Aren't those? Are those Canadian words?
- 5:37Speaker 5: Concert is?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Does anybody remember juno? Juno is an award you win
- 5:41Speaker 1: in Canada.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Is a Sabrina Carpenter's song, and every time she sings
- 5:46Speaker 6: it at her show, she arrests somebody. And she arrested
- 5:49Speaker 6: this guy that people thought she was dating.
- 5:51Speaker 5: He's on stranger things.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Okay, I can't remember all of that every day, but
- 5:56Speaker 1: you know, I have to tell you something, and I'm
- 5:58Speaker 1: not going to be embarrassed about it. I don't remember
- 6:01Speaker 1: some of the stuff you tell me, Sysdney or Tanya like,
- 6:05Speaker 1: I gotta there's a lot of incoming. I can't keep
- 6:08Speaker 1: it all. There's only so much in the data, like
- 6:11Speaker 1: tubs you there. What do you call the the memory?
- 6:13Speaker 4: Right?
- 6:13Speaker 1: The mega memory? The database right? No hard drive, the
- 6:16Speaker 1: database whatever, the cloud. There's only so much in my
- 6:19Speaker 1: cloud that can hang on too. So I got to
- 6:22Speaker 1: decide what goes away in what stays. And I feel
- 6:25Speaker 1: like the information that we throw out every day can.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Come and go.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Keeps it exciting for me? I hope it does for you.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Come in here every day wanting to learn, wanting to,
- 6:35Speaker 1: you know, grow a little bit. So anyway, I'm gonna
- 6:38Speaker 1: learn about Barry Kiegan. Never met this guy. He was
- 6:40Speaker 1: in Salt Burn. I don't know which dude is going
- 6:43Speaker 1: to go on my refrigerator because Austin Butler has been there.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And then I met this guy, the Calvin Klein model
- 6:48Speaker 1: what was his name?
- 6:51Speaker 2: Here?
- 6:55Speaker 1: How easily we forget.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Sisiny Listen, I can recite old rats On from eminem like,
- 7:00Speaker 3: no problem, but yes, remembering who we had on two
- 7:03Speaker 3: days ago, heard parts of the brain.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Remember Mikayla match with him Onrea. Name is Noah. He's
- 7:09Speaker 1: great in a love story that series with JFK Junior
- 7:13Speaker 1: and Carolyn Bissett. Anyway, he was going right up on
- 7:15Speaker 1: my fridge. I don't know. Very Keyogan my up on
- 7:18Speaker 1: my fridge too.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Why not have all three up on your fridge?
- 7:21Speaker 1: Oh my god, that'd be overwhelming? How I deal with that?
- 7:25Speaker 1: I never get out of the house. These are my inspirations.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I need, dude, I need like that generation dude inspiration.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Okay, I think you're missing one big inspo. Who the
- 7:36Speaker 6: fashion icon right now? Jacob Elordie.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I can't. I always screw his last name up? So
- 7:42Speaker 1: can I have him on my fridge? Yes, you can,
- 7:44Speaker 1: Jacob Alordie.
- 7:45Speaker 5: You need him?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Didn't he just get a big fashion campaign that I
- 7:48Speaker 1: remember from a Chuning report of yours.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Yeah, Like his hair is like all the rage right now,
- 7:53Speaker 6: like and his tooth is all the rage.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So I just want to ask you a question. I'm Mikayla.
- 7:57Speaker 1: You're single. So right, you go up to a dude's house, right,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I have a date. She comes over, she goes into
- 8:02Speaker 1: my kitchen, She's gonna grab something on the fridge, and
- 8:05Speaker 1: all those guys are up on my fridge. How do
- 8:07Speaker 1: I explain that?
- 8:09Speaker 7: I don't know I mean, I would definitely ask you
- 8:12Speaker 7: about it, but you just have to be honest.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I guess I think I can make it kind of
- 8:16Speaker 1: cool that those are inspo dudes of a generation for me.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Couldn't I explain that? I don't know, Lola, you're nodding
- 8:24Speaker 1: or you're you're nodding or you're saying no.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I'm saying no.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Really, you wouldn't want to see like a dude with
- 8:28Speaker 1: dude inspirations?
- 8:29Speaker 8: Absolutely not. I'm very like, why do you have three
- 8:33Speaker 8: men on your fridge?
- 8:36Speaker 2: A bunch of girls?
- 8:38Speaker 4: Oh?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, what'd be okay, Lola Martinez? What would be worse
- 8:41Speaker 1: a bunch of girls up on the fridge if somebody
- 8:44Speaker 1: or when you go to a dude's place, he's got
- 8:46Speaker 1: girl inspiration or he's like his type, or he's got
- 8:49Speaker 1: dude inspiration, like you know, fashion and all that.
- 8:52Speaker 8: Definitely girls, But how about just none? How about quote quotes,
- 8:56Speaker 8: quote inspiration?
- 8:57Speaker 1: There you go, No, I need training wheels.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Okay, I could get you the quotes.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yes, okay, Well, I'll take a picture of these guys
- 9:05Speaker 1: on my fridge. Tell me looks all right? Coming up next?
- 9:07Speaker 1: Got enough magnets for all of them? Top three things
- 9:10Speaker 1: people forget before they go on a spring break trip.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Hang on, you're on kiss. I am really into quote books,
- 9:15Speaker 1: So I got a bunch of quote books at the house,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and I'm going to give you a quote of the
- 9:18Speaker 1: day here in a second. But also, if you're going
- 9:20Speaker 1: on a spring break trip and you need to get
- 9:23Speaker 1: your organization of things to pack, you know what people
- 9:25Speaker 1: forget the most in general when they pack on a trip. Sunscreen,
- 9:29Speaker 1: no chargers. Oh yes, really, here's one. I don't understand. Underwear.
- 9:36Speaker 1: How do you forget?
- 9:37Speaker 2: Oh that's happened to me before. It's annoying because you.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Do it last.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Yes, kind of like forget.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I just forget, like you you're so focused on the
- 9:45Speaker 3: outfits and the shoes and piece and all that together,
- 9:49Speaker 3: then you just forget the end.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Not for me, because there's like different material snugness, uh color,
- 9:56Speaker 1: Like I need white for white, I need my I
- 9:58Speaker 1: like a black little snuggear for my workout I've got,
- 10:02Speaker 1: so I usually put those all out with the clothes
- 10:05Speaker 1: because each pair of underwear goes with a different kind
- 10:07Speaker 1: of panting.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that makes sense, Like a beige linen pant you
- 10:13Speaker 3: can't wear.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Dar Gene yeah, or a Jean and somewhere.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Under linen pants commandos.
- 10:20Speaker 1: No, I don't and you don't want messy. I don't
- 10:23Speaker 1: know what you know about the architecture, but you don'tant
- 10:25Speaker 1: zippers and yeah, hear that.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Uh?
- 10:28Speaker 1: And the number one thing most people forget is medication.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So make sure you jump on all that now. Today's quote,
- 10:35Speaker 1: every interaction is an opportunity to leave someone better than
- 10:39Speaker 1: you found them. A lot of pressure, but yeah. In
- 10:44Speaker 1: the headline, FM headlines, Well.
- 10:47Speaker 3: The FBI warrened police departments in California that Iran could
- 10:51Speaker 3: retaliate for American attacks by launching drones at the West Coast.
- 10:57Speaker 3: SWAT teams responded to Disneyland last night after saving calls
- 11:00Speaker 3: of a mass shooting, but it was a hoax and
- 11:03Speaker 3: the park was not evacuated. Amazon's driverless taxi brand, Zooks,
- 11:08Speaker 3: is launching in Las Vegas this summer and is expected
- 11:11Speaker 3: to arrive in La next year. And Disney released the
- 11:15Speaker 3: trailer for the Hannah Montana twentieth anniversary special featuring Miley Cyrus,
- 11:20Speaker 3: which comes out on March twenty fourth.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Mario, let Me Love You. How do you not say
- 11:26Speaker 1: the word toxic anymore? You know, it's like I don't
- 11:28Speaker 1: want to say. I do believe that when you use
- 11:30Speaker 1: vocabulary that comes back at you in life. So we
- 11:33Speaker 1: need to be careful when we're saying these words.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Okay, right, let's let's say weird or is it silly?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Or is it because we're at work and we want
- 11:40Speaker 1: to we want it. It's okay, But I'm saying that
- 11:43Speaker 1: we need to be aware of word because I'm convinced
- 11:45Speaker 1: that the things that I say out loud, my brain
- 11:47Speaker 1: says again one hundred times inside.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Mm hmmm.
- 11:50Speaker 1: So anyway, just be aware of that. That's it. Lola Martinez,
- 11:54Speaker 1: the daughter of Tim Martinez, who has worked here forever,
- 11:57Speaker 1: is back in the back room now. So your question was,
- 12:01Speaker 1: this is interesting. You're going on virtual tours of people's
- 12:06Speaker 1: apartments or homes before you meet them.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Why just for fun?
- 12:11Speaker 1: But are not these who are these people?
- 12:13Speaker 8: Sometimes, like in the past, before I had a boyfriend,
- 12:17Speaker 8: I would do it on guys i'd be talking to,
- 12:19Speaker 8: or if I'm going to party, like those kind of houses,
- 12:23Speaker 8: I like to just carreous.
- 12:24Speaker 2: And then you know where the bathroom is.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And you do this to sysony. You go on virtual
- 12:27Speaker 1: tours of people's places before you see them.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Or meaner, I kind of do like like like if
- 12:31Speaker 3: I get invited to a birthday party and it's at
- 12:33Speaker 3: someone's house, I will for sure Redfinn or Zilo your
- 12:36Speaker 3: house and see, Yeah, I've never done this.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I've never done this either, And frankly, I don't want
- 12:43Speaker 1: anyone to do this or do this. That is I
- 12:46Speaker 1: think it's a I get like.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Everyone does this.
- 12:49Speaker 1: No, two people sit next you do.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Not anybody else do this?
- 12:54Speaker 1: The element is surprised, Sophia. Do you do this at
- 12:56Speaker 1: your school?
- 12:58Speaker 4: No?
- 12:58Speaker 9: The only thing I do is look on z to
- 13:00Speaker 9: look at like million dollar mansions, just like thinking one
- 13:03Speaker 9: day I could buy them.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Right.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Yeah, people love to do that. I mean that's something
- 13:07Speaker 1: that you do, but just to daydream, right, or to
- 13:11Speaker 1: dream or set goals. How do you get their addresses?
- 13:14Speaker 8: Okay, so basically on Snapchat, if you have your location on,
- 13:18Speaker 8: you can go on snap maps, click on their house,
- 13:23Speaker 8: get their address, put that in a zillo and you're there.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Does it ever make you not want to go out
- 13:28Speaker 1: with somebody because you see their pad?
- 13:30Speaker 2: No?
- 13:30Speaker 8: No, I will never do it to like judge someone,
- 13:33Speaker 8: But I'm just very I'm a curious girl.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I gotta know. That's a version of judging.
- 13:38Speaker 2: It's not.
- 13:39Speaker 3: It's curious to see, like if they got a good
- 13:41Speaker 3: deal in their house, Like wow, that's really appreciated.
- 13:46Speaker 1: To discovering stuff about people.
- 13:48Speaker 8: No, no, I need to know.
- 13:49Speaker 5: I want to honestly. Now that I know you can
- 13:51Speaker 5: do this, I feel like I see.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I started a trend.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this too. I still tell you I don't,
- 13:56Speaker 1: but I'm gonna start doing this.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Everyone does this.
- 14:00Speaker 1: By tomorrow, everyone here, we'll be doing it. It is
- 14:04Speaker 1: kiss good morning. I'm about to get into this Ryan's roses.
- 14:07Speaker 1: She caught a messaging someone else. They're married. Got a
- 14:10Speaker 1: lot of issues here with this. We'll find out what's
- 14:12Speaker 1: going on. Seven forty Also sunshine today, Ey's in the
- 14:15Speaker 1: mid nineties. More the same tomorrow. Not quite as hot
- 14:19Speaker 1: this weekend. So here's something interesting before we get into
- 14:23Speaker 1: Ryan's roses. People are faking being students. Why are they
- 14:26Speaker 1: doing it? Why are people faking being students.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Because of all the perks.
- 14:31Speaker 3: One thing I miss of not being a student at
- 14:33Speaker 3: San Diego State was all of the student discounts that
- 14:35Speaker 3: you would get because you're enrolled out of college or
- 14:38Speaker 3: you're just a student in general. So people are actually
- 14:41Speaker 3: enrolling in a single class at a community college and
- 14:44Speaker 3: paying the small enrollment fee just to get a valid
- 14:48Speaker 3: school email or the school ID.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Are they taking classes too?
- 14:51Speaker 3: I mean maybe they go and they take the class,
- 14:53Speaker 3: where they don't take the class, it doesn't matter. But
- 14:54Speaker 3: the benefit that they're seeing is that they're getting huge
- 14:58Speaker 3: discounts on things like v concert tickets. I mean, we
- 15:01Speaker 3: all know concert tickets are so expensive right now, so
- 15:04Speaker 3: some ticket sites are occasionally offering pricing for students, and
- 15:09Speaker 3: companies like Ticketmasters say if the show does have a
- 15:12Speaker 3: student discount, it'll pop up on the drop down menu
- 15:15Speaker 3: for you to click on, and then if you're a student,
- 15:17Speaker 3: you get like fifty percent off or like a huge
- 15:19Speaker 3: discount on these concert tickets.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Okay, what I don't think enough before I speak, And
- 15:27Speaker 1: this is a case where I'm not thinking enough before
- 15:29Speaker 1: I say this. I kind of like its entrepreneurial cleverness.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I kind of like that they are. I mean, whoever
- 15:36Speaker 1: you are doing this, that you're clever enough to figure
- 15:39Speaker 1: out the loophole and exploit the loophole. I mean, I
- 15:43Speaker 1: don't know, is that bad.
- 15:44Speaker 3: No, I don't think it is, and technically is not
- 15:47Speaker 3: illegal because you are enrolled in that college and you
- 15:49Speaker 3: are a student.
- 15:51Speaker 1: You know, there's something called street smarts. Yeah, that's street
- 15:55Speaker 1: smarts for sure. That is what that is. Q and
- 16:00Speaker 1: EQ that's EQ hey one or two point seven? Kiss
- 16:05Speaker 1: FM is time before Ryan's Rose is.
- 16:09Speaker 4: So.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Jackie is on the phone in Claremont and she says
- 16:12Speaker 1: her husband has had trust issues for years because of
- 16:15Speaker 1: a mistake that she, Jackie made in the relationship. The
- 16:17Speaker 1: other day, she walked in and saw him messaging on
- 16:20Speaker 1: an app that she didn't recognize. Well, so what happened, Jackie.
- 16:25Speaker 10: Yeah, exactly what you said. He well, when I said
- 16:29Speaker 10: something about it, he told me at first he was
- 16:31Speaker 10: scrolling Facebook, but then he just like kind of closed
- 16:34Speaker 10: the app and went into a game. But he won't
- 16:36Speaker 10: tell me what game he was playing.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And what did you do that violated the trust way
- 16:42Speaker 1: back in the day or whatever.
- 16:45Speaker 10: Okay, Well, it was a long time ago, but it
- 16:48Speaker 10: was at the very beginning of our relationship, when we
- 16:50Speaker 10: were getting to know one another. He actually caught me
- 16:53Speaker 10: exchanging texts with the guy I knew from work. And
- 16:56Speaker 10: when I say a one time ago. It was six
- 16:57Speaker 10: years ago, but ever since that time, my husband has
- 17:02Speaker 10: pretty much really struggled to trust me. He still will
- 17:06Speaker 10: ask me who I'm texting, what I'm doing when I'm
- 17:09Speaker 10: on my phone, and he questions me pretty regularly. A
- 17:14Speaker 10: few days ago, we were actually doing some chores around
- 17:17Speaker 10: the house and I asked him to come taste this
- 17:19Speaker 10: soup I was making, and he kept saying, oh, one minute,
- 17:22Speaker 10: but he didn't come at all. So I walk in
- 17:25Speaker 10: and I see him just quickly look like he was
- 17:28Speaker 10: on his phone, messaging on an app that I didn't recognize,
- 17:31Speaker 10: but it had those like yellow chat bubbles, So yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 10: you know, I asked him what he was doing, and
- 17:38Speaker 10: he's like just scrolling Facebook.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Okay. So you know, when you throw a rock into
- 17:44Speaker 1: the ocean, you never know how deep it's going to
- 17:46Speaker 1: go and how that scar right is going to sink
- 17:50Speaker 1: in terms of what you did early on with him,
- 17:53Speaker 1: And I think we all we want to get past
- 17:58Speaker 1: stuff like that. Right, if he felt like the trust
- 18:00Speaker 1: was violated, you want to get past that. And he
- 18:02Speaker 1: may even say he can get past that, but in reality,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I don't know if you ever can, And that may
- 18:06Speaker 1: be what he's thinking about and why he might be
- 18:10Speaker 1: doing maybe what you did or not, but could be.
- 18:14Speaker 1: So you know he lied to you, he was not
- 18:16Speaker 1: scrolling Facebook. I mean, where are we Well?
- 18:20Speaker 10: I told him that I clearly saw him typing. And
- 18:23Speaker 10: then where we're at is that he changed his story
- 18:26Speaker 10: and he told me that he was messaging inside of
- 18:28Speaker 10: a game.
- 18:28Speaker 1: But does he get a bye because you did this
- 18:30Speaker 1: to him? I don't know. I know what I'm asking questions,
- 18:35Speaker 1: cinciny Tanya, So hold on one second, we'll find out.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Well we can't. We'll call him at KISSFM and offer
- 18:45Speaker 1: the roses and see if there's a name other than
- 18:47Speaker 1: Jackie that he's thinking about with them Brian's Rose's on
- 18:49Speaker 1: KISSFM this morning. Jackie. Early on, when they were quo
- 18:53Speaker 1: getting to know each other, she was texting another guy
- 18:55Speaker 1: at work and ever since then her now husband has
- 18:59Speaker 1: had trust issues. So she walks in on him on
- 19:03Speaker 1: the phone. He says he's playing a game, but she
- 19:05Speaker 1: saw that he was messaging somebody else. She thinks maybe
- 19:08Speaker 1: he's messaging another woman. The question is is he and
- 19:11Speaker 1: is he cheating? Then the other question is did he
- 19:14Speaker 1: ever forgive you for what you did? And maybe he's
- 19:16Speaker 1: going to try and justify what he's doing. I don't know, so, Jackie,
- 19:20Speaker 1: we're gonna call him and find out who he's thinking
- 19:22Speaker 1: about right now when it comes to sending romantic roses.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Tell me his name and say, Ryan, you can call
- 19:29Speaker 1: his name.
- 19:30Speaker 10: Go ahead, Ryan, you can call.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I have your permission, right, yes, you do. Here we
- 19:38Speaker 1: go be very quiet. Let's see we can find out Systey.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Hello, Hi, is it Stephen?
- 19:55Speaker 4: I'm that interested?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Step Yeah, you know what.
- 19:59Speaker 3: My name is, Emma, I'm I'm calling from Sweet Blooms.
- 20:01Speaker 3: How are you doing this morning? We deliver here locally
- 20:03Speaker 3: and surrounding areas, and I'm offering a free promotion.
- 20:05Speaker 2: This is free. I don't need cash from you or
- 20:07Speaker 2: anything like that.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Wait seriously, Yes, it's a free dozen red roses that
- 20:12Speaker 3: you can send to anybody that you'd like, and we
- 20:15Speaker 3: do ask if you like our business, you come back
- 20:16Speaker 3: as a customer one day. That's it. But these are free.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I don't need any cash from you. It's not a
- 20:21Speaker 3: subscription or anything like that.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Okay, gat question, how many suckers do you get to
- 20:26Speaker 4: fall for this? Okay?
- 20:28Speaker 3: Well, is there anybody that you'd want to send roses
- 20:30Speaker 3: to like anyone in your life.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Look, I know exactly how this works. Okay, let's say
- 20:35Speaker 4: some time to my wife, which I'm not confirming I have,
- 20:37Speaker 4: But then you now know my name and number, and
- 20:40Speaker 4: then I'm married, and then then I fall for this stuff.
- 20:42Speaker 4: So now you can sell that information to other companies
- 20:44Speaker 4: and then we get spad with offers or like give
- 20:46Speaker 4: some vacations. Now, no, I want to know part of this.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Stephens say, stay on, Stephen, don't hang up. You're not
- 20:52Speaker 1: going to be a part of this. But I've got
- 20:54Speaker 1: your wife, Jackie on the line, who thinks that you're
- 20:56Speaker 1: messaging another woman? Are you cheating on Jackie? Stephen?
- 21:00Speaker 4: I'm sorry? What did you say?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Are you cheating on your wife?
- 21:03Speaker 4: I have you?
- 21:04Speaker 1: I have information that you might be cheating on your wife.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Oh my god, you gotta be kidding me. She is
- 21:09Speaker 4: such a hypocrite.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Well wait, why is she hip? What do you mean here?
- 21:13Speaker 1: She is?
- 21:14Speaker 4: She?
- 21:15Speaker 3: She did the same thing you are confirming it.
- 21:20Speaker 4: No, I have.
- 21:24Speaker 10: I have spent the last six years apologizing to you.
- 21:28Speaker 10: You know that I'm sorry, and it just doesn't make
- 21:30Speaker 10: it okay for you to turn around and do the
- 21:32Speaker 10: same thing to me.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Well, okay, I don't know what to tell you. I
- 21:36Speaker 4: guess you're just gonna have to deal with what deal
- 21:38Speaker 4: looks like at you. Okay, Uh, tell.
- 21:42Speaker 10: Me who she is? Oh, I'm sorry, what game is it?
- 21:46Speaker 1: Did you do this after you were married and she
- 21:49Speaker 1: did this before you were married?
- 21:52Speaker 4: Look, I'm not saying anything. Okay, no comment, the son
- 21:55Speaker 4: of your business?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Okay, but she said the app had yellow bubbles. Bumble
- 21:59Speaker 1: has yellow bubb Are you on bumble?
- 22:02Speaker 4: Like I said, no comment?
- 22:04Speaker 2: What does matter? That comment is the comment exactly?
- 22:07Speaker 1: That's right.
- 22:10Speaker 4: I'm not sleeping with anyone. I'm just texting.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Were you sleeping with someone, Jackie while you were with Stephen?
- 22:18Speaker 4: Right?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Well, I mean the plot dickens here you too. This
- 22:23Speaker 1: is It's on you, guys. It's on you. Even a
- 22:26Speaker 1: good luck Jackie, good luck whatever is meant to be
- 22:28Speaker 1: will be. So she wait, hold on, I didn't know that.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I thought she was just texting some dude.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I don't know either. It's this needs to just be done,
- 22:36Speaker 2: is it me?
- 22:37Speaker 1: Or was that Guy Fieri? Ri?
- 22:39Speaker 5: I know Guy Fury.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it sound like Guy Fury to me. It wasn't him.
- 22:46Speaker 1: For sure was him, just I want to be clear
- 22:48Speaker 1: on the record, was not him, but it's not like
- 22:49Speaker 1: him to me, reminded me him. On air with Ryan Seacrest,
- 22:55Speaker 1: Sabrina Carpenter said, man, when did you get hot? And
- 22:59Speaker 1: mayor told you that time?
- 23:01Speaker 5: No, nobody's ever told me that.
- 23:03Speaker 1: That's a compliment, is it?
- 23:04Speaker 4: Though?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I would love to hear that.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I wouldn't maybe be mad at that.
- 23:09Speaker 4: E there.
- 23:10Speaker 1: No, when did you get hot? That's great? That means
- 23:12Speaker 1: they think you're hot. Yeah, cares how you got there
- 23:15Speaker 1: exactly like you are hot to them.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Has anyone told you that?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Not really, but you know I've been working out.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yeah. As long as you feel that, that's all that matters.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Did I feel that? Yeah?
- 23:26Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Oh man, let's get to it, Sophia, Finals, right, that's
- 23:32Speaker 1: what we guys, a finals week this week at school?
- 23:34Speaker 2: Unfortunately it is how long is.
- 23:36Speaker 1: This internship here? It's a long internship. How many credits
- 23:39Speaker 1: she's got for being here? Now? You have some study
- 23:42Speaker 1: tricks for everybody else's taken finals.
- 23:44Speaker 9: Yes, I'm gonna definitely try these out. I have some
- 23:47Speaker 9: final exams, but I also have some papers that are due.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Okay, are these things that other students on campus are
- 23:53Speaker 1: trying to get, you know, good grades on their finals.
- 23:56Speaker 9: I'm definitely gonna try them, and I'm gonna like encourage
- 23:59Speaker 9: my roommates and my friends to try them too with me,
- 24:00Speaker 9: because I think it would.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Be really fun.
- 24:02Speaker 1: All right, give me an example.
- 24:04Speaker 9: Okay, So one method that I have, I'm calling it
- 24:06Speaker 9: the Hot Girl walk and talk. It's when you go
- 24:09Speaker 9: on a walk outside and you record yourself basically explaining
- 24:13Speaker 9: your study material or what you want to write about
- 24:15Speaker 9: on a paper as if you're on a phone call
- 24:17Speaker 9: or a podcast. And then later on, when you're doing
- 24:22Speaker 9: busy work like taking a shower, driving in the car,
- 24:25Speaker 9: or like getting ready for the day, you listen to
- 24:27Speaker 9: that audio and that's how you are able to retain
- 24:29Speaker 9: the information.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Wait, I think I don't know about the name of it,
- 24:32Speaker 1: the title of it, but I think it does work
- 24:34Speaker 1: because I now listen to books when I'm getting ready
- 24:37Speaker 1: or getting showered, or brushing my teeth or getting ready
- 24:40Speaker 1: to go to bed, and I remember this stuff.
- 24:42Speaker 9: I think it really helps, like listening back to.
- 24:44Speaker 1: It and it's your voice. Yeah, okay, these are a
- 24:48Speaker 1: finals week study tips. What's another one?
- 24:50Speaker 9: Okay, one more that I'm going to try for my
- 24:52Speaker 9: final papers because I have a couple. I'm calling it
- 24:55Speaker 9: like the Google doc font hack. It's basically where you
- 24:58Speaker 9: write your paper in a super silly and egg exaggerated
- 25:01Speaker 9: font on Google Docs to make the paper seem like
- 25:03Speaker 9: less intimidating and like a little easier to.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Write, so it looks like fun font.
- 25:08Speaker 9: Yeah, and it's just like basically like you're writing like
- 25:10Speaker 9: a super funny paper with like a silly goofy font and.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Also that font, Like, I have a visual memory, so
- 25:16Speaker 1: the size of the font, the shapes of the letters
- 25:18Speaker 1: I would remember better than just a straight text.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:21Speaker 9: And I think it's easier for me to like enlarge
- 25:23Speaker 9: the font by a lot when I'm writing for some reason,
- 25:25Speaker 9: so it feels like I'm already getting a lot down
- 25:27Speaker 9: on the paper.
- 25:28Speaker 2: So I don't know, I want to try it.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Hey, Mark, would you enlarge the font when you send
- 25:31Speaker 1: me the ideas here?
- 25:35Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:35Speaker 1: Do a different font besides a playful around here when
- 25:39Speaker 1: you go to cal State north Rage. Do you think
- 25:41Speaker 1: those would work? Those tips?
- 25:42Speaker 8: I think so the paper one I would definitely do.
- 25:45Speaker 8: And same with the first one too, because I talked
- 25:47Speaker 8: to myself a lot already, so I definitely will try that.
- 25:51Speaker 1: You should talk to yourself about that because it really
- 25:53Speaker 1: helps to talk to yourself in life. Yes, that's just
- 25:55Speaker 1: a general note. LA's number one eight music station is
- 25:58Speaker 1: Kiss FM. We had a Ryan's Rose this morning. If
- 26:00Speaker 1: you missed it, it'll be up on our podcast midday
- 26:03Speaker 1: when that thing gets up on iHeartRadio. About to get
- 26:06Speaker 1: you some free gas Big week for free gas and
- 26:09Speaker 1: some not s very farm tickets. Now, Tanya, the question
- 26:13Speaker 1: is do you remember discovering an artist for the first
- 26:15Speaker 1: time that really changed your life? Why do you ask?
- 26:18Speaker 6: Because the final track off Harry Style's new album, it's
- 26:20Speaker 6: called Carla Song. It was in fact inspired by Harry's
- 26:24Speaker 6: real life friend Carla.
- 26:28Speaker 10: Changed and.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So he was saying, what he kind of watched his
- 26:37Speaker 1: friend Carla discover somebody.
- 26:39Speaker 6: Yes, so the song and this was Carla discovered the
- 26:43Speaker 6: singer Paul Simon for the first time, and Harry was
- 26:46Speaker 6: like playing her some of his tracks and watching her
- 26:48Speaker 6: fall in love with these songs for the first time.
- 26:50Speaker 5: So he wrote this song, which.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Is basically about that, about discovering new music and sharing
- 26:55Speaker 6: it with someone for the first time, but it got
- 26:57Speaker 6: me thinking about like big life moments and sharing music
- 26:59Speaker 6: with someone for the first time. It felt very Ryan
- 27:02Speaker 6: coded to me because I know you've won hundred percent
- 27:05Speaker 6: done this before.
- 27:06Speaker 1: What have I done?
- 27:07Speaker 5: When do you remember when the song Firestone came out?
- 27:11Speaker 1: My gosh, this was like a decade ago, but yes, Firestone,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I do like pulled that up. For a second. I
- 27:17Speaker 1: didn't feel that, oh wow.
- 27:21Speaker 3: I.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Got place tonight, place this weekend Firestone Radio. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 27:33Speaker 6: You are so excited to, like I met the dude too,
- 27:36Speaker 6: bring it home for that.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Weekend for who.
- 27:38Speaker 5: I don't remember who you were dating at.
- 27:39Speaker 1: The time, but yes, yeah, you're.
- 27:43Speaker 6: So excited to like bring it home to them. So
- 27:45Speaker 6: I was like, this just the story felt very you.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Thank you for reminding me. Take me down memory lane there.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I remember meeting Conrad Sewell at the London Olympics because
- 27:55Speaker 1: I was doing the hosting some stuff there for NBC
- 27:58Speaker 1: at the time, and I went up to the guy
- 28:00Speaker 1: like a crazy fan and I was like, you don't understanding.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I was talking so fast that this dude, pretty mellow guy,
- 28:06Speaker 1: compared to me that Conrad Suel yeahur Stone vibe. This
- 28:10Speaker 1: guy was taken aback. I think. I'm like, you don't
- 28:11Speaker 1: seeing he change my lap. I brought this song back
- 28:13Speaker 1: and I made it and he's like okay, he's like
- 28:15Speaker 1: thank you.
- 28:15Speaker 6: No, but then you got this like stripped down version
- 28:17Speaker 6: because remember it was with Kaigo, so it's like an eaty.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I don't know who sent me? Is that ours? I
- 28:20Speaker 1: don't know where?
- 28:21Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 28:21Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he came in studio and like, did it.
- 28:23Speaker 1: That's that was from this show?
- 28:25Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 28:25Speaker 3: Yeah, when he came in like twenty fifteen, like years
- 28:28Speaker 3: after the twenty twelve Olympics.
- 28:29Speaker 1: No memory that, no memory that first impressions are most important.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I don't remember him coming in. I remember meeting him
- 28:35Speaker 1: and running up to him and like picking him up
- 28:36Speaker 1: and spinning him around like a toy. Yeah image, yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: well thank you? Was that a training report that in
- 28:46Speaker 1: my day?
- 28:47Speaker 2: I'm so clad?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Uh? Coming up next, we are going to play Are
- 28:53Speaker 1: you still okay? This stray for freak guys silver? I
- 29:02Speaker 1: just might. That's a good one. That is a good
- 29:05Speaker 1: one in the morning. I like hearing it early, gets
- 29:08Speaker 1: you moving, get your tempo right for the day. Let's

- 29:22Speaker 1: care of your gas. Prices are up and it's for
