- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but something tells me here afraid of it.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Oh you said it, let me know it.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I'm with your attention. Oh that's about a sixty six.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Hello, key, Forge community, glad to be here this evening
- 0:25Speaker 3: with our triple threat. We are minus a Wookie, so
- 0:30Speaker 3: no bad takes tonight, but without further ado coming in
- 0:35Speaker 3: from snores or with the sleeping dragons, we have.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Dress cor What are we gonna do with all that,
- 0:44Speaker 1: all the bad takes, like, we're gonna be pretty boring
- 0:46Speaker 1: without this ridiculous stuff coming out of Wookie's mouth.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I'm sure there's enough between the three of us that
- 0:52Speaker 3: will we'll have some some issues.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Fair enough, fair enough, it's good to see you guys.
- 0:58Speaker 3: And coming from our other corner, we have the grumpiest
- 1:02Speaker 3: of all Sheep.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Hello, doctor Sheep.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Can't believe I have to do work.
- 1:09Speaker 1: You're recording those, aren't you.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I'm trying I head record and we all started sounding
- 1:15Speaker 2: a little bit robody, so this will.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Be great, okay, all right, well robot, let's see what
- 1:19Speaker 1: happens here.
- 1:21Speaker 3: And I am the one, the only Oh no, I'm
- 1:24Speaker 3: Jesse Walk Hello, key, fortunately, glad to be here tonight.
- 1:27Speaker 3: We're gonna go ahead and hammer through some items because
- 1:30Speaker 3: well we don't have slow loookie in order to slow
- 1:33Speaker 3: us up bad takes.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Let's do it right. I did add one thing. I
- 1:40Speaker 1: added Packs to you this weekend, so Packs unplugged in Philadelphia.
- 1:45Speaker 1: It's in my backyard. I'm gonna be there. Gig's gonna
- 1:49Speaker 1: be there this this weekend. So you know, in theory,
- 1:56Speaker 1: they were gonna have like a demo table for key Forge,
- 1:58Speaker 1: but apparently the booth they got that was way smaller
- 2:00Speaker 1: than they thought. So it's learning from the demo table.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So uh so I may know this.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Think of a Germany with just one of those like
- 2:07Speaker 2: cocktail tables.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, only I think. I think what it's actually going
- 2:12Speaker 1: to be is like you know, Mann and King of
- 2:15Speaker 1: Bling and these guys are going to be roped in
- 2:18Speaker 1: to you know, do something off to the side to
- 2:20Speaker 1: help out. They're like, how many hours can you dedicate
- 2:23Speaker 1: to doing this? And I'm like, I'm not responding to
- 2:26Speaker 1: this message. Also like by it, you know, you know,
- 2:32Speaker 1: maybe I'll play a game or two, but I don't
- 2:34Speaker 1: know if I want to dedicate you know, four hour
- 2:37Speaker 1: slots to uh to do free stuff for gg Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 1: What are they going to compensate you with? Probably get
- 2:45Speaker 1: some Discovery decks or something. You know.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I'm pretty I'm pretty sure that you too could end
- 2:50Speaker 3: up with a Vault Master twenty three deck.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Maybe maybe oh no, those were that were very rare
- 2:58Speaker 1: on the Game Way, it's Master twenty four you're gonna get. Ah,
- 3:05Speaker 1: probably so packed you.
- 3:07Speaker 2: But that's that's unplugged.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So lots of board games, lots of board games. So
- 3:12Speaker 1: you don't sign up for anything on that one, right
- 3:13Speaker 1: you just you kidd events list, there are events so
- 3:18Speaker 1: like you can go, you know, I think like Matt
- 3:21Speaker 1: Mercer is going to be there or something, you know,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and go watch him say things about stuff. I don't
- 3:27Speaker 1: actually know if he's going to be there, but I
- 3:28Speaker 1: know various people are going to be there, and there's
- 3:33Speaker 1: lots of people that go for the shows and the
- 3:34Speaker 1: events and stuff. I don't tend to go for the shows.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I do more of the hall and then I'll do
- 3:41Speaker 1: gaming with friends, and I will I'll do like an
- 3:46Speaker 1: occasional event, but we'll see, well, we'll see. It's gonna
- 3:51Speaker 1: be lots of fun driving down with my buddy tomorrow
- 3:55Speaker 1: and uh.
- 3:56Speaker 2: And without us drunken fools. Will there be a dazz
- 4:00Speaker 2: car experience.
- 4:02Speaker 1: So this is a good question because a lot of
- 4:06Speaker 1: like my game, my board gaming buddies, they're gonna be
- 4:11Speaker 1: playing late into like they're gonna be in the hall
- 4:15Speaker 1: where there's not really uh booze. Right, They're gonna be
- 4:19Speaker 1: in the hall or maybe maybe you can be at
- 4:21Speaker 1: a beer or something, but it is not like necessarily
- 4:24Speaker 1: they're not gonna want to go out to a cocktail bar.
- 4:26Speaker 1: They just want to play board games until like you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: two in the morning. So so I don't know, I
- 4:32Speaker 1: don't know. We'll see plus plus in Philly, like I've
- 4:34Speaker 1: been to all these places. Oh there's always more places,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but I don't know that there will be. We'll we'll see,
- 4:39Speaker 1: We'll say.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Well. We we also have Walk un plug this weekend.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Oh what's that do? Well?
- 4:49Speaker 3: Walk Unplugged is where we get together and just play
- 4:52Speaker 3: some board games. So Arbitrator Steve, we're over at his place,
- 4:56Speaker 3: and our other buddy John will be there as well,
- 4:59Speaker 3: who does not play KeyForge but sheep my beautiful wife Tara.
- 5:03Speaker 1: So a good group of five.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Honestly, Arbitrator Steve keeps wanting to go ahead and place
- 5:11Speaker 3: more four player games. So that's our big dilemma right now.
- 5:14Speaker 3: But we had some good games, and always question of
- 5:18Speaker 3: what games are we bring in and how can we
- 5:20Speaker 3: get how can we get the games in in the
- 5:21Speaker 3: time that it's given to us.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I mean, five is a tough number for board games,
- 5:26Speaker 1: right like most games want four. Yeah, with six people,
- 5:30Speaker 1: two three player games works pretty well, right Yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Well I have I know, I'm bringing Architects of the
- 5:36Speaker 2: West Kingdom, which I just learned this last weekend. It
- 5:39Speaker 2: handles five and it's easy to teach son for that, And.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I have Vantage, which I think is definitely worth a
- 5:48Speaker 3: play for this group. They have not played it yet.
- 5:50Speaker 3: It is, in my opinion, very much. I sit down
- 5:53Speaker 3: with a beverage and just explore if you can handle that.
- 5:57Speaker 3: But it is not your traditional board game, and here's
- 6:00Speaker 3: our euro game that we're trying to get some end points.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know, I was hearing so much about ad Advantage
- 6:07Speaker 1: right when it came out. I feel like I haven't
- 6:09Speaker 1: heard anything about it a little bit. Did it like
- 6:12Speaker 1: burn real quick and go out or people still playing it?
- 6:17Speaker 3: So there's quite a few people that are honestly still
- 6:19Speaker 3: playing it. There are a lot of people who have
- 6:21Speaker 3: dug into it with just multiple different plays because there's
- 6:25Speaker 3: so many different cards in the actual game that the
- 6:28Speaker 3: experience is unique and different. With eight hundred different locations.
- 6:35Speaker 3: It does have a high replayability. I just think that
- 6:39Speaker 3: it is not your traditional euro and with many individuals
- 6:44Speaker 3: looking for hey, how can I have this outcome?
- 6:47Speaker 1: This win.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yes, there are technically some wins that can be pulled,
- 6:53Speaker 3: and you can either win, but you can also just
- 6:56Speaker 3: extend the game and keep playing. If you don't go
- 7:00Speaker 3: ahead and you're successful, it's a little bit weird in
- 7:03Speaker 3: its endgame and how it concludes, and so that that's
- 7:07Speaker 3: the off putting put for me.
- 7:09Speaker 2: But I gotta tell a better story than you and win.
- 7:13Speaker 1: There you go, that's all I know.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Well you have six yeah, you have six different actions.
- 7:19Speaker 3: So it is definitely you're going to be successful. It's
- 7:22Speaker 3: just how much is it going to take out of
- 7:24Speaker 3: your journey in your ability?
- 7:26Speaker 2: I tried to seduce the bar Wench.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Exactly. This is exactly how this is going to go.
- 7:33Speaker 3: These are really sentience sentience, and so we're sentience.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I'm okay with that, my.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Goodness, and in good arcives corner fashion. We have broke
- 7:44Speaker 3: down and we're seducing sentience.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Now I did I did learn a couple of other
- 7:50Speaker 2: board games. We don't really have key Ford to talk about.
- 7:53Speaker 2: We talked about board games now.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Right, Well we got until that go before the next event, right.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Yes, which Sydney is I think intending to go to NECO,
- 8:04Speaker 2: which means Naco will definitely be a thing this year.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It was a thing last year. We had like thirty
- 8:09Speaker 1: five people are.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Now it's going to be a Sydney thing.
- 8:12Speaker 1: A Sydney thing. Yeah yeah, yeah, well yeah, you guys
- 8:17Speaker 1: should totally come. It's gonna be.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I am considering it, trying to figure out how how
- 8:24Speaker 2: I work that out, How I freeload off of you?
- 8:27Speaker 1: There you go, Yeah, you can freeload off me. Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah. That's February.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It's the January thirty first into February first that that
- 8:40Speaker 1: we can't yeah yeah, so yeah, it'll be cold, cold,
- 8:45Speaker 1: Anamagh country, but you know it'll be it'll be a
- 8:48Speaker 1: good time.
- 8:49Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm very very sad I will not be
- 8:52Speaker 3: able to go. That is the annual men's retreat that
- 8:56Speaker 3: I go ahead and run.
- 8:57Speaker 1: So I have a different.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Engaged to say, January thirty first.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah, January Saturday, January thirty first to Sunday, February.
- 9:03Speaker 2: First, technically on call, but I could probably fix.
- 9:07Speaker 1: That on call. Yeah, who else? Who else to be
- 9:10Speaker 1: on call? Being on calls? Lame, I'm on call right now,
- 9:13Speaker 1: so sort of I sort of a I'm sort of
- 9:16Speaker 1: always on call now, but like lost man, you're always
- 9:19Speaker 1: right right, I got underlings unless it goes real bad
- 9:23Speaker 1: then then I gotta you know, get the call. But yeah, yeah,
- 9:31Speaker 1: Necho should be great, you know, and I'll.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Probably what events do they run at Necho, mister, I've
- 9:38Speaker 2: been there?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Uh? So they did like sealed you know, sealed tournament,
- 9:44Speaker 1: uh and a big sealed tournament, and then they had
- 9:47Speaker 1: like a Bingo card where you had to play different
- 9:52Speaker 1: types of games against different people in order to win prizes.
- 9:56Speaker 1: As like the side events.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Do they have adaptive an alliance for sheep? Because he's totally.
- 10:02Speaker 1: All about that. Well, so, so the way they laid
- 10:04Speaker 1: out the bingo card, like yes, those things were in there,
- 10:07Speaker 1: but you didn't have to do them, like you could
- 10:10Speaker 1: get bingo without like if you really don't want to
- 10:12Speaker 1: play alliance or Adaptive. You didn't have to, right, you
- 10:15Speaker 1: could play you know something else.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Something fun. Yes, I'm actively being bribed to play in
- 10:24Speaker 2: uh what is currently they're currently have registrations for the
- 10:29Speaker 2: next season of Caggi, going.
- 10:31Speaker 1: On, oh what what? What is this Caggi that you speak.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Of key forge and garbage?
- 10:39Speaker 3: I think okay, And what do you do with key
- 10:43Speaker 3: forge and garbage?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Is this where like we eat cards.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Again with that would make it better? I would be
- 10:49Speaker 2: in this is where they make you play Adaptive.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:54Speaker 2: They linked it all over our discord. They've they've linked
- 10:57Speaker 2: it all over all the discords. So if you're interested
- 10:59Speaker 2: in playing Adaptive, then you can indeed sign up for
- 11:05Speaker 2: the next season of Caggi. And so the bribes will
- 11:08Speaker 2: be high enough that you will see me there.
- 11:11Speaker 1: So so is the thinking that if they could get
- 11:14Speaker 1: Sheep to play, then everybody also wow, if the Sheep
- 11:18Speaker 1: is no longer holding it out there, I just want
- 11:20Speaker 1: to say, look, this guy will say anything but and
- 11:23Speaker 1: then he'll play, which is true. I am a sale
- 11:28Speaker 1: yeah yeah, say you're definitely yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a whore, but you're our love you. They
- 11:39Speaker 2: also said if I did, I would have to play.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Not serious, but with with what the game is in mind.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I'm not allowed to just bid thirty chains and not
- 11:50Speaker 2: have any cards for the first five turns and just lose.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Oh I mean does that work?
- 11:58Speaker 1: The sheep? You should not have sold What the hell
- 12:02Speaker 1: is that name of that deck? Your reversal deck?
- 12:06Speaker 2: Why E cro Web?
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah you should have held onto that so you could
- 12:10Speaker 1: have brought that.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Yes, yes, no, because I would have to play it.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Well, you just you just point at.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Some point, you know, like they bid too many chains
- 12:24Speaker 2: not to play it, and you're stuck with it.
- 12:27Speaker 3: But isn't the logical choice for you just to play fraud?
- 12:30Speaker 3: I mean you know that fraud better than anybody else
- 12:32Speaker 3: at this point.
- 12:33Speaker 2: So I mean sure, but fraud actually doesn't like many chains.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Well, you can't go out and say that. Now you're
- 12:42Speaker 3: just hurting yourself.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Man, Well I wouldn't play fraud anyways.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yeah, here you go, why E crown Web of the
- 12:48Speaker 1: Ubiquitous Veil? So to find this deck not you don't
- 12:52Speaker 1: have to figure out how to spell all that. All
- 12:54Speaker 1: you have to do is good, okay, you know, search
- 12:58Speaker 1: for decks, click call the archons, then pick constraints expected
- 13:02Speaker 1: ember Max two and click search. It will be the
- 13:05Speaker 1: only deck that appears. That is how you find this deck.
- 13:11Speaker 2: It was, it was. It's really poopy, that is for sure.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I am. At the time I bought it was my
- 13:18Speaker 2: most expensive deck I own. They picked out that.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Deck fifty dollars for quad Phosphorus Stars, the BRISB Triple
- 13:32Speaker 4: Library of a Babble, such.
- 13:34Speaker 2: A bad deck. Proudly owns it.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I traded it for artwork. Man, it's a good
- 13:45Speaker 1: I would actually I would have. I would have gotten
- 13:48Speaker 1: this deck for for some sort of lulls.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Well, see, I already own a billion or tatoo decks
- 13:54Speaker 2: that I have no reason to play. I also don't
- 13:58Speaker 2: really care that I have no reason to play. But
- 14:00Speaker 2: certainly Adaptive is a place I would throw them around
- 14:05Speaker 2: because why not, because I don't care if I win
- 14:09Speaker 2: or lose, So I won't practice. I will bid based
- 14:15Speaker 2: off of gut, and then I'll probably lose. That sounds
- 14:20Speaker 2: about right, but I will. I will bid based off
- 14:23Speaker 2: of gut, not thirty chains.
- 14:24Speaker 1: So I just love see if you better win fifty
- 14:27Speaker 1: percent of your games, otherwise they're just going to come
- 14:29Speaker 1: at you. Be a See, it's not a coin flip.
- 14:32Speaker 1: That's that Maybe that's why that's why they watch you
- 14:36Speaker 1: to apply.
- 14:36Speaker 2: It's only a coin flip if both players are playing
- 14:41Speaker 2: on a similar level. In this case, yeah, it would
- 14:51Speaker 2: require me to care and it won't happen.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Let me explain that to everyone. He does not care
- 14:57Speaker 3: about anything I do.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Two sounded sounded pretty excited about you walk board game weekend.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Well that time.
- 15:10Speaker 3: If you have not seen Necho's gonna have some sweet
- 15:12Speaker 3: amber too. And so I got a chance to preview
- 15:15Speaker 3: that tonight and it is pretty amazing. So if nothing else,
- 15:18Speaker 3: go for the amber. But it's always a good time
- 15:20Speaker 3: with individuals.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Where they're I think you just ruined a surprise.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Well, too bad, it's not a surprise, Josh. We're telling
- 15:30Speaker 3: people to get them excited. See all key fours. This
- 15:33Speaker 3: is what we do. We tell people about the good
- 15:36Speaker 3: things that they get to get.
- 15:38Speaker 2: You mean, like prizes and not. I don't know. Let's
- 15:41Speaker 2: see what's like in my cupboard half the can of
- 15:45Speaker 2: green beans.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Okay, in that in that frame, I know we're totally
- 15:50Speaker 3: But did you ever when you guys were going trigger
- 15:52Speaker 3: treating when you're younger, did you ever go to a
- 15:53Speaker 3: house and there, and you show up and they're like huh.
- 15:59Speaker 1: They give you the puzzled look, like what are you doing?
- 16:02Speaker 3: And then they realize that it's like Halloween, and so
- 16:05Speaker 3: you go ahead, and obviously they're like hold on a second.
- 16:07Speaker 3: And then you hear them rummaging in the background and
- 16:10Speaker 3: they either get pennies or some random like as you're
- 16:14Speaker 3: talking about, some like fruit tour like something that's just
- 16:17Speaker 3: really not Halloween esqueto. That's what I yeah, that's what
- 16:21Speaker 3: I picture here. That's what I picture, yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Except you forgot to turn the lights off after the
- 16:27Speaker 2: first person was disappointed.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So potatoes by the way for Halloween. So I don't
- 16:33Speaker 1: know why, but so my wife's like refilled the candy
- 16:37Speaker 1: ball right the pantry, right we filled it. There's like
- 16:41Speaker 1: some potatoes there, just like you know what, put potatoes
- 16:44Speaker 1: in here.
- 16:45Speaker 5: So she just like puts some potatoes. That's the kids
- 16:50Speaker 5: come with its just like potatoes with the candy, like
- 16:54Speaker 5: you know those little those little finger like.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Potatoes, you know.
- 16:58Speaker 4: And she's like a little kid came and started like
- 17:02Speaker 4: hunting and pecking for all the potatoes.
- 17:05Speaker 1: They grabbing all the potatoes, but his bucket. He's very
- 17:09Speaker 1: happy exactly.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Smashed against your house later that night.
- 17:15Speaker 1: It's like a little four year old or something, right,
- 17:17Speaker 1: like very excited. They really like potatoes, yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Or he's like, this is gonna be my first real
- 17:22Speaker 2: food a week. Thanks mister.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Look mom, I have potatoes. Oh so yeah, if you
- 17:33Speaker 1: come you give it to the Dransscourt household, you can
- 17:37Speaker 1: you can have some potatoes for Halloween.
- 17:42Speaker 2: All right. Are we got a great cards now?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, because Wookie's Wookie's not here to tell us that
- 17:46Speaker 1: we don't have time, so we can actually score score cards, right, yeah, absolutely.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Wookie's also not here to give us ridiculous takes on
- 17:55Speaker 1: these cards, so you know, so we'll see how that.
- 17:59Speaker 2: See, don't worry, I'm here to give you ridiculous takes
- 18:02Speaker 2: on these guards.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Perfect all right.
- 18:07Speaker 2: So cardiolence.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Is c w O two he three powers. No, it's
- 18:17Speaker 3: not too it's touchy touchy. Let's do touchy touchy. I
- 18:22Speaker 3: like it touchy because he is getting touched. And so
- 18:26Speaker 3: this is not This is a friendly touch, not a sheep.
- 18:29Speaker 2: It looks like manslaying, but.
- 18:33Speaker 1: You walk his far grabber of than the sheep.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Oh that was years in the making of being violated
- 18:41Speaker 3: that just saving for that photo that that's more angst there.
- 18:45Speaker 3: But three power play after reap fully healing, use a
- 18:48Speaker 3: friendly creature.
- 18:52Speaker 1: This.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Uh, this tricks a lot of people because they think
- 18:55Speaker 2: it's already and then they read it again they go, oh,
- 18:58Speaker 2: this doesn't ready, and then it's a little disappointing.
- 19:02Speaker 1: But it's a house cheat the healing who can still Okay?
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like we've had lots of cards like
- 19:08Speaker 2: this before.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah, this is this. I definitely at uh KFC had
- 19:17Speaker 1: problems because somebody played this and atrocity and they just
- 19:21Speaker 1: kept healing. I was like, oh my godness, that is
- 19:28Speaker 1: a move.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But I've seen it so many times. Do nothing because
- 19:37Speaker 2: if you don't have an off house creature, this doesn't
- 19:39Speaker 2: do anything on its play. I mean, heel is not important.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, the ability is good, but it doesn't always fire.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It is on play like a three.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Okay, four, Oh I can live with a three.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Three, let's move it all right. I bet you a
- 20:05Speaker 1: Wookie would have whined and called it a one because
- 20:08Speaker 1: it's doesn't ready.
- 20:09Speaker 3: I threw it as a two, so I got talked
- 20:11Speaker 3: into it. I mean, yes, you get the house cheat there.
- 20:13Speaker 3: So three is fine, but it seems high. The next
- 20:18Speaker 3: card also is not really good, but cosmic recompense.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Eh, it's a card.
- 20:24Speaker 3: It's a rare play deal three to an enemy creature
- 20:27Speaker 3: if it is not destroyed, steal one, repeat the preceding effect.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Oh, it does have a fade effect too.
- 20:34Speaker 3: I fates you cannot play or use, sorry, play, use
- 20:39Speaker 3: or discard cards for the remainder of the turn.
- 20:43Speaker 1: What did I ever do to this? Yeah? Flavor text
- 20:46Speaker 1: like what did I do to deserve this card being printed?
- 20:50Speaker 2: This? This would have been better if it had a
- 20:54Speaker 2: little bit more space. Win a bago in.
- 20:56Speaker 1: It's urt mmm yeah the elements baseball reference.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but I don't know if I've ever seen
- 21:05Speaker 2: this played for its play effect.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I was gonna actually ask that I am not.
- 21:09Speaker 2: It's actually not terrible. It's potentially a steal two.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Steal two deal six damage is like actually pretty decent.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Right, It's okay, But I mean it basically needs not
- 21:23Speaker 2: be there because we're never gonna do that, because not playing, using,
- 21:27Speaker 2: or discarding under a couple of faiths that trigger after
- 21:31Speaker 2: you've made your house call. It's real mean, h this
- 21:38Speaker 2: does just a couple of notes. It does you can
- 21:41Speaker 2: still stuff up stuff a fake card under our prophecy
- 21:44Speaker 2: if you're playing you know, pathetic Virtues, or if you're
- 21:49Speaker 2: playing DT you can still raise the tide. I think
- 21:54Speaker 2: you can still raise the tide.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That's the move right there. Yeah, I mean that is
- 21:57Speaker 1: not playing using or discarding a card. So yeah, yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: that's big brain, big brain play. What so like why
- 22:08Speaker 1: like why the discard part? Like they won't even let
- 22:10Speaker 1: you try to get a better hand.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Isn't the rumors on this one that it basically just
- 22:16Speaker 2: said fate Omega is functionally what it did.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Well, the original version we saw said like end your
- 22:23Speaker 1: turn or something like that, but that meant you didn't like,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you didn't ready cards, you didn't draw off.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, brutal.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Yeah. So I mean this is a sex.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a sex.
- 22:41Speaker 1: No no questions asked. This is a This is a
- 22:44Speaker 1: six yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Sorry, this is a trunk creed is a twenty. This
- 22:50Speaker 2: you have to have fates. So this is a sixteen Yeah, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen,
- 22:57Speaker 2: depending on how many copies you.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Get, Yeah, somewhere in there and then, but no, it's
- 23:02Speaker 1: not a twelve JML.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Thanks for playing on.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Pretty outrageous is what that is? All right? Walk byt
- 23:18Speaker 1: what's next?
- 23:19Speaker 3: All right, we're going into a sweet sweet six power
- 23:23Speaker 3: kajus on creature cricks alien. Well, Kaju's on is attacking,
- 23:27Speaker 3: ignore armor and taunts after fight put an enemy creature
- 23:30Speaker 3: on top of its owner's deck.
- 23:33Speaker 1: So I have a question about this guy. So you're
- 23:35Speaker 1: looking at this art here, right, dude.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I'm going like, why do we have to have bad anime?
- 23:42Speaker 3: Like?
- 23:42Speaker 1: Is he standing on a rooftop and he's close to
- 23:46Speaker 1: the camera or is he like a fifty foot tall
- 23:53Speaker 1: alien with a badass sword.
- 23:54Speaker 2: No? I think I think he's just on ground level
- 23:57Speaker 2: and this is just a upshot.
- 23:59Speaker 1: It's an okay, all right? Yeah, she knows all about.
- 24:03Speaker 2: The little robot, one of those little robots cruising around
- 24:06Speaker 2: looking at him.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I could, I could see that. I just like,
- 24:10Speaker 3: did you guys actually notice the artwork that's in the
- 24:12Speaker 3: back right is coming from Skyborne?
- 24:16Speaker 2: Now?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah? Like that that's that dude. It's a nice guy.
- 24:23Speaker 1: That's about it?
- 24:24Speaker 2: All right?
- 24:25Speaker 1: What do we think of this card? My friends? Uh?
- 24:29Speaker 1: I mean, he has to fight to be good, but
- 24:33Speaker 1: he is kind of like uh killed two? Yeah, the
- 24:36Speaker 1: bounce is nice, right, he gets around stuff like destroyed
- 24:40Speaker 1: the facts.
- 24:41Speaker 2: He's like, uh, he has six power, which means he's
- 24:43Speaker 2: not tiny.
- 24:45Speaker 1: He's gonna read ig.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Nore armor and taunt is I don't know? Yeah, no, oh,
- 24:52Speaker 2: it's a four because it deals with brio.
- 24:55Speaker 1: It does kill Brile, you're right, or puts Brill back
- 24:59Speaker 1: in hand. Yeah you can. You can kill Colp and
- 25:02Speaker 1: then butt Brill on top of a stack.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I mean this card is is fine but not good.
- 25:09Speaker 2: So is it like a three again?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:12Speaker 2: Or is it a four because it is big enough?
- 25:17Speaker 1: Six is not six? Isn't used to? I think? I do?
- 25:21Speaker 3: I do agree, Yeah, I go more along the three.
- 25:24Speaker 3: It's interesting that the after fight is a sack, like
- 25:27Speaker 3: you can put a second creature in, so put an
- 25:30Speaker 3: enemy creature on top of its owner stack, so you
- 25:32Speaker 3: could essentially fight also something but.
- 25:34Speaker 1: We never see it yet. You see you don't see
- 25:36Speaker 1: it because of the rare.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, three it is cause she fall amber
- 25:45Speaker 3: pin action play destroy each creature with a more powerful neighbor,
- 25:49Speaker 3: fate destroy each creature with a less powerful neighbor.
- 25:54Speaker 2: This is an unreliable yard.
- 25:58Speaker 6: Like like do you set up do you try to
- 26:04Speaker 6: set up your own board for the fate, or do
- 26:06Speaker 6: you try to set your up for the play, or
- 26:08Speaker 6: you just like not care and you.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Get it and go, uh, this is kind of half
- 26:13Speaker 1: bad for both of us, regardless if I play or
- 26:15Speaker 1: fade it, Like, I don't know. This one just feels weird.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Sanctum one that kills neighbors that don't share a house.
- 26:22Speaker 2: It's like kinda it's kind of like that where it's like,
- 26:25Speaker 2: every once in a while, hey, this is gonna do
- 26:26Speaker 2: a whole lot, and often you're just like, yeah, well
- 26:29Speaker 2: this is just never gonna do anything.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah. That one didn't have an ember pip.
- 26:34Speaker 2: This one does, yeah, which makes it even sadder to discard.
- 26:39Speaker 1: This is like Umber one.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I hate this guard. I don't want to deal with
- 26:42Speaker 2: this guard.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I don't. I put it too, but I don't. Is goofy,
- 26:48Speaker 1: like like what's he doing? Is he committing suicide? Like?
- 26:53Speaker 1: What is he doing?
- 26:55Speaker 3: He's playing squirreling it, He's jumping from his little.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Hasn't I got wings? This guy's dying.
- 27:02Speaker 3: He's just fallen down. It's it's a bass jump. Sure,
- 27:06Speaker 3: you just don't You just don't see the parachute. Yet
- 27:10Speaker 3: how often? How often have you guys played this card
- 27:13Speaker 3: in all? Yeah, it's just because of the rare you
- 27:18Speaker 3: don't see it that often.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Eh.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I like that it actually shows up with a little
- 27:24Speaker 3: bit of c here because PB does not have toun.
- 27:28Speaker 3: But it's it doesn't show up. It's not easy to
- 27:31Speaker 3: be able to manipulate. I put it out a one.
- 27:33Speaker 2: It's and then I mean it's in good ARCon. You
- 27:39Speaker 2: can sort of plan for it, right You put your
- 27:44Speaker 2: atrocity next to another three ideally and go okay, so
- 27:47Speaker 2: I gotta lose the four power guy over there? But
- 27:49Speaker 2: who cares? Like you can if you know your apparent
- 27:52Speaker 2: has this is another one where you can play around it.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Yeah, this is weird, Like you just.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Discard your pointless four pound our creature to keep your
- 28:01Speaker 2: atrocity alive.
- 28:02Speaker 1: It's so boring to play around this card.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I can tell you that when I'm playing sealed, it's
- 28:10Speaker 3: not on the top of my.
- 28:11Speaker 2: List I think about. All right, so we're done talking
- 28:15Speaker 2: about that garbage.
- 28:17Speaker 1: We're gonna change it to a one, all right. So
- 28:19Speaker 1: to update the DRAZ score in which all these cards
- 28:22Speaker 1: and desirated, I'm gonna change up to a one by
- 28:24Speaker 1: the time we're done with this cast.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Nice sample forty two C. It has an amber pit.
- 28:31Speaker 3: It's an artifact experiment. Action move one amber from your
- 28:35Speaker 3: opponent's pool to sample forty two C. If there are
- 28:38Speaker 3: four amber or more on sample forty two C four
- 28:42Speaker 3: jakey at no cost perge sample forty two C. Fate
- 28:46Speaker 3: the most powerful enemy creature captures half of your amber
- 28:51Speaker 3: rounding down.
- 28:53Speaker 2: So another fate that I've never seen used as a fate.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's because we have Trnk's Creed or other cards. Well,
- 29:02Speaker 3: but I mean I get I get it. The dream
- 29:05Speaker 3: of the key sheet is is more.
- 29:08Speaker 1: It's still lure.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I almost lost to this the other day, but mister
- 29:16Speaker 2: Perfect didn't reap one additional time, so I was able
- 29:19Speaker 2: to take him off and of regular key so he
- 29:23Speaker 2: couldn't key cheat with this.
- 29:24Speaker 1: For key three, I did hear this move at our local,
- 29:28Speaker 1: So with all the artifact hate in set, it's pretty
- 29:32Speaker 1: hard to rely on this card.
- 29:34Speaker 2: I mean, I still action capture one, steal one, throw
- 29:39Speaker 2: one away, however you want to say it, it's you know,
- 29:41Speaker 2: like because it's actually moving amber from your opponent's pool.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So that's a cool effect, but it's only ever four
- 29:46Speaker 2: and then it's going to pop. Yeah, I don't it's cool,
- 29:54Speaker 2: but I don't know if it's actually good. I guess.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I mean, you could have a as we get to it,
- 30:02Speaker 1: there are.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Like one one quarter of the creatures in the Star
- 30:08Speaker 2: Alliance house are good where you could actually have a
- 30:10Speaker 2: board of Star Alliance you want to use. It's not
- 30:13Speaker 2: very often right where you'd actually come back and get
- 30:17Speaker 2: this done.
- 30:18Speaker 1: And it's only good early, right, it's late game.
- 30:21Speaker 2: I mean it's it's got the what's redacted at probably
- 30:25Speaker 2: a two? Because this, I mean, this is functionally it's
- 30:29Speaker 2: it's a little bit better than redacted, but not much
- 30:34Speaker 2: better than redacted.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna check it out and then go. We're gonna
- 30:39Speaker 1: pull up the scores actually hold on. Instead of going
- 30:45Speaker 1: to the spreadsheet, I'm just gonna go drasscore dot com,
- 30:47Speaker 1: drassscore dot com, view all cards, search my name redacted
- 30:53Speaker 1: redacted as a two?
- 30:55Speaker 2: Go or do we make it at three because it
- 30:58Speaker 2: has a fate that could be meaningful someday.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Nope, it's nope, Okay, it's a two, dude. It is.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's cool too.
- 31:07Speaker 1: It is I agree with that, and I do like the.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Like we'redacted as a cool too as well. But you know,
- 31:12Speaker 2: for sure I really want it. This would be a
- 31:16Speaker 2: much cooler account House piped.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. That's true, all right.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Our next card, Yonder's Log, it has an amber pip
- 31:29Speaker 3: action play if there are more enemy creatures than friendly creatures,
- 31:33Speaker 3: archive each card from your hand.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Okay, so it says Yonder's log and it's some dude
- 31:38Speaker 2: looking at a little computer screen, which you know they're
- 31:41Speaker 2: trying to say he's doing a log book. But let's
- 31:43Speaker 2: face it, look at his face. We all know what
- 31:45Speaker 2: Londar's yog really is.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Is that face? What is that?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Now? That's just pooping face.
- 32:00Speaker 3: So he's doing that wall at work or wall literally
- 32:04Speaker 3: in the process of working in front of him.
- 32:06Speaker 1: You know what, I'm sorry that I even said.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Dude, google still suit and understand will reclamation.
- 32:13Speaker 1: No, we're not doing any of this anything.
- 32:17Speaker 3: She says, do the opposite, my friends, that's the safest
- 32:21Speaker 3: bed possible.
- 32:23Speaker 2: If there are no if there are more enemy creatures
- 32:26Speaker 2: than friendly car I have seen this card used to
- 32:31Speaker 2: good effect. It compos with that shadows hoodwink thing kind
- 32:35Speaker 2: of coolly right, dump your hand later, grab it when
- 32:40Speaker 2: you get your hoodwinked and steal for a bunch.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're overwhelmed is sort of what this says.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Yeah, basically it says, if you're overwhelmed, our g I
- 32:49Speaker 2: each card from your hand. It's okay, it's not great.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Is it another two? Or is it a three?
- 32:58Speaker 1: I had two? But like, there's been occasions where this
- 33:03Speaker 1: has been clutch but like archives are so dangerous.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I think there are reasons for it to play higher,
- 33:15Speaker 3: but I placed it at as a two.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Two. Yeah, I mean thinks that Wookie would give a
- 33:22Speaker 1: ship if we don't give it a three. Therefore, let's
- 33:24Speaker 1: give it a two. Guys, let's do it done too.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Oh oh, another amazing bald head here, Bridge Officer Zarrow
- 33:34Speaker 1: three power one armor creature human after fight capture three
- 33:39Speaker 1: if you do ready a friendly non alien creature.
- 33:45Speaker 2: The after fight makes this card such a bummer, hey,
- 33:50Speaker 2: like gets to you know, at best, he does it
- 33:52Speaker 2: once and then he's basically gonna die the next time
- 33:54Speaker 2: he does something.
- 33:55Speaker 1: This card is a bummer as a whole man.
- 33:59Speaker 2: That's a good cheat.
- 34:04Speaker 3: It's how often are you playing this in order to
- 34:07Speaker 3: cheat cheap, I mean and sealed.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I've done it a few times. But it's still at two.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Or is it a one? You're saying it's a one?
- 34:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, honestly, it's bad. It's bad, and I
- 34:21Speaker 3: with the with the cards that are after Star.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Card cheats once in a while, it's once in a
- 34:26Speaker 1: while it's good, but it's slow and rarely works.
- 34:31Speaker 3: It's slow and rarely works, and I'd much rather toss
- 34:34Speaker 3: it to burn under my.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Right because if you're playing Star Alliance, it's because you're
- 34:40Speaker 1: playing the three sixes that we haven't finished talking about yet,
- 34:44Speaker 1: and and this guy's just going under your other fate
- 34:47Speaker 1: so you don't have to play Star Alliance ever.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Yes, that's where my issue is. It's like the card itself.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Is also just feed him to a trash fate as
- 34:58Speaker 2: a trash fate sometimes.
- 35:00Speaker 3: I am fine, I'm fine putting it as a two,
- 35:02Speaker 3: but I'm telling you this is a garbage trash fate
- 35:07Speaker 3: character versus actually being something I'm seeking or playing or
- 35:11Speaker 3: getting any.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Value out of. Can it do things? Sure?
- 35:14Speaker 3: It just I don't want to come back to this
- 35:16Speaker 3: house in PV. All right, all right, what are you
- 35:21Speaker 3: going with boys two?
- 35:23Speaker 1: I guess too. Sure? All right?
- 35:27Speaker 3: Uh that actually was our first uncommon call.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Well, I would rather have a yondar's log than a
- 35:33Speaker 2: bridge officer's o.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Ro oh yeah, yeah that's true. Mmmm. We can noodle
- 35:46Speaker 1: on that, everybody. You can yell at your yell at
- 35:49Speaker 1: your speaker right now about how stupid we are for
- 35:51Speaker 1: scoring cards this way, all right, question to you, wookie.
- 35:55Speaker 3: All right, the next card is Digital Signal Action with
- 36:00Speaker 3: a number PIP play for each card in your opponent's
- 36:02Speaker 3: archives archaic card, discard your opponent's archives.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Archive disruption still pretty.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Good archived, and maybe archive your own cards, which can
- 36:14Speaker 1: then be disrupted.
- 36:16Speaker 2: But that's still pretty strong card.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to see this again outside of you
- 36:25Speaker 1: want to see three?
- 36:27Speaker 2: Or do you want to see it four?
- 36:29Speaker 1: I think I want to see it four both disrupt
- 36:33Speaker 1: archives and archive my own stuff.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Maybe or just an amber PIP.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I think it's an amber PIP is what you see.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I think an ARCon though the card has a little more.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Field.
- 36:49Speaker 2: It is. You know, you often don't see any archiving,
- 36:52Speaker 2: but in ARCon you still see archiving.
- 36:56Speaker 1: That is, and that is what we're scoring.
- 36:58Speaker 2: So okay, four.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Four, it is sorry, right four?
- 37:03Speaker 3: All right, further investigations Amber pip action play destroy any
- 37:08Speaker 3: number of friendly creatures for each creature destroyed this way
- 37:11Speaker 3: archive at card.
- 37:16Speaker 2: So I have used this because they have Trunk's creed
- 37:20Speaker 2: and I went.
- 37:21Speaker 7: Ah, no board, ha ha, That's about what I've done
- 37:27Speaker 7: with this cardh Again, once in a while, kill some
- 37:31Speaker 7: point with star lines car creatures because you have a
- 37:35Speaker 7: bridge officer Zarro and you're like, guess I play him
- 37:38Speaker 7: and archive something else.
- 37:42Speaker 2: But this is not a good card.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds like Good's the one? Do you think
- 37:48Speaker 1: it's one? Except maybe it's that bad. Well, especially with
- 37:53Speaker 1: the archive hate that exists in PV, it takes a
- 37:57Speaker 1: bigger bump with TV being the main set, right.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I mean in a good deck, you rarely want to
- 38:03Speaker 2: be destroying your own creatures because you have good creatures
- 38:08Speaker 2: and sealed. This card is a little better because you
- 38:12Speaker 2: have a bunch of trash you don't care about.
- 38:15Speaker 1: But also just having a border random dudes is more
- 38:18Speaker 1: important than sealed.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Yes, well, but you still you don't keep your one
- 38:24Speaker 2: offs when you have four of another house you just
- 38:26Speaker 2: kill the other one offs. And yeah, but anyways, yeah,
- 38:30Speaker 2: garbage card. Let's get to another garbage card.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Are all right, we'll downgrade this one to a one.
- 38:39Speaker 3: All right, galactic tariff upgrade, Amber Pip. This creature gains
- 38:44Speaker 3: after fight, slash after reap, capture one from your own side.
- 38:51Speaker 2: This does shut down people from reaping. Yeah, it's still
- 38:57Speaker 2: not a great card, but it does have an Amber
- 38:59Speaker 2: pick it as long as I got a creature. Yeah,
- 39:02Speaker 2: you definitely at put this on your own creature. Where's
- 39:05Speaker 2: that leaving this like a two versus three?
- 39:09Speaker 1: I put a one. I don't like this card. It's
- 39:13Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I guess if there's a reap effect,
- 39:15Speaker 1: you put this on a ze f pump.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Okay, how are the can't fight? Can't reap? This doesn't
- 39:19Speaker 2: actually stop it, but it's in that value world to me.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Okay, So what is it called detention? The tension coils
- 39:29Speaker 1: A two? Yeah that sounds where it needs to be
- 39:34Speaker 1: two ye dudes?
- 39:37Speaker 3: All right, fair enough, m all right, next card, Eh,
- 39:45Speaker 3: it's something gleaming the cube action Amber Pip. Play ready
- 39:50Speaker 3: and use a friendly creature. Fates discard the top card
- 39:53Speaker 3: of your deck. The discarded card's house becomes your active house.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so house, I'm thinking of that's the house that
- 40:01Speaker 1: you have to play now.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and that house is a six.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean this this is very good. Do we
- 40:12Speaker 1: think it goes all the way to sex? It's uh?
- 40:15Speaker 2: I mean, I mean this goes to six, but not sixteen,
- 40:21Speaker 2: probably at eight and.
- 40:22Speaker 1: A half just a normal sex.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Well because additional six this combos, because this actually
- 40:30Speaker 2: the play effect can be really good.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the play effet can't be good. Yeah, h and
- 40:35Speaker 1: the fate but it's not as good as control the
- 40:37Speaker 1: week though, right for the fate effect, No, and it
- 40:41Speaker 1: really matters.
- 40:42Speaker 3: You do have to have early prophecy versus going ahead
- 40:46Speaker 3: and having anything mitter like.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Right, if you have like even overreach, which we like
- 40:52Speaker 1: relatively or even more than overreach, the look how far
- 40:59Speaker 1: you've that's the one we like quite a bit. Uh,
- 41:03Speaker 1: play a creature, right, you could like do a bunch
- 41:06Speaker 1: of stuff and then play a creature and then flip
- 41:08Speaker 1: to a different house and then use that house.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Right, So, well, you wouldn't put this card under that, well,
- 41:15Speaker 2: now would you?
- 41:16Speaker 1: You would?
- 41:17Speaker 2: Now you got to remember like we do. Yeah, but
- 41:20Speaker 2: that's true on that's true on cosmic recompense too.
- 41:26Speaker 1: So what you're saying is we don't score a stupid
- 41:28Speaker 1: one's always good.
- 41:30Speaker 2: No, it is not always good unless unless all the
- 41:33Speaker 2: last card that they play triggers it. And it didn't
- 41:36Speaker 2: mean anything like that's true all the time. The thing
- 41:41Speaker 2: is we we are not scoring on if this exists. Right. Basically,
- 41:46Speaker 2: if your deck has a bunch of gleaning the cubes
- 41:47Speaker 2: in it, you want to consider it right now. Maybe
- 41:52Speaker 2: the fates are all or the prophecies are all bad
- 41:54Speaker 2: and it's a trash deck like that is that is
- 41:58Speaker 2: something that is very true in PV. You can have
- 42:02Speaker 2: a pile of sixes because of their fates and then
- 42:05Speaker 2: have no good prophecies and the deck is utter trash. Right,
- 42:10Speaker 2: So this is this set is one of the worst
- 42:13Speaker 2: sets for high score bad deck because the usefulness of
- 42:21Speaker 2: prophecies is so high in our system is even worse
- 42:27Speaker 2: than SaaS for like trying to rate them things being.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Deal well, I guess the only the only counter argument
- 42:34Speaker 1: to that for for the draft score is because there's
- 42:37Speaker 1: four prophecy cards, you actually get four additional cards scored,
- 42:42Speaker 1: and because the set so strong, we're like that's fine.
- 42:45Speaker 1: So getting you know, good prophecies bump in your score,
- 42:52Speaker 1: like if you get two sixes, I mean that's a
- 42:54Speaker 1: twelve bump on your score. Right, it's pretty good.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Yeah. If you really want to downgrade this to a five,
- 43:02Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Ah all right, I talked, you talked me in those six.
- 43:06Speaker 2: I mean, this is one of the cars you are
- 43:08Speaker 2: looking for when you hope it Starlance, cubes, faint recompense, those.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Are the three.
- 43:18Speaker 2: And now is it the strength of the cars is
- 43:20Speaker 2: the actual orders Probably recompense, faints, cubes.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Maybe, pat maybe, although yeah, I guess cube has the
- 43:30Speaker 1: play of it.
- 43:30Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, as was talked about, it's a six,
- 43:35Speaker 3: it just doesn't fall as as sixteen or a ten
- 43:38Speaker 3: until that's the difference.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Kron Colin, Kallen, Colin, Sure Colin for Colin.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Three power alien creature after rep destroy each other creature,
- 43:55Speaker 3: Fate destroy each friendly creature that does not share a
- 43:58Speaker 3: house with at least one of its neighbors.
- 44:01Speaker 2: So the fade is pretty weak because again it's I
- 44:06Speaker 2: don't know, they have to have mixed house stuff going on,
- 44:14Speaker 2: you know, ones, I don't know. This. Actually, where I
- 44:19Speaker 2: see it get the most used is when it's in
- 44:22Speaker 2: a deck with cube and it's a board wing. Yeah,
- 44:27Speaker 2: I've seen that happen a not insignificant number of times. Yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 2: I mean this card is still not great. I mean,
- 44:39Speaker 2: like you still don't really, I don't think you want
- 44:42Speaker 2: this card because you've got to you gotta play it.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Then you got to call the house again to be
- 44:47Speaker 2: able to do it.
- 44:47Speaker 1: But then it is that it's yeah, it's I think
- 44:51Speaker 1: it's borderline witch level where it will draw fire.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Right, it's like you but if you have But the
- 44:57Speaker 2: thing is, if you have a bunch of creatures you
- 44:59Speaker 2: don't want to reap with, That's true. It's which level
- 45:02Speaker 2: when they're out boarding you, which means they already have
- 45:05Speaker 2: the resources to deal with it.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Yes, unless you have something like gleaming the cube where
- 45:11Speaker 3: you're getting the ready and use.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Yes, sure that's fair.
- 45:15Speaker 2: But you certainly cannot guarantee you have gleaming the cube
- 45:17Speaker 2: in the same day for that.
- 45:20Speaker 1: No, no, not at all.
- 45:21Speaker 3: But I think that most people will throw it on
- 45:24Speaker 3: the current callen in hopes that they'll be able to
- 45:27Speaker 3: regain that they're going to be able to use the
- 45:29Speaker 3: reap effect. And the reality is is that most of
- 45:32Speaker 3: the time it just does not hit because it does
- 45:35Speaker 3: pull that which level that people are just like, Oh,
- 45:38Speaker 3: I have bored whoop, I'm going to get rid of it,
- 45:41Speaker 3: because why wouldn't you?
- 45:43Speaker 1: Does it force? Does it?
- 45:44Speaker 3: Does it force people to go ahead and take a
- 45:46Speaker 3: off turn or a different turn to make sure that
- 45:49Speaker 3: it does not reap? Yes, and so there is some
- 45:52Speaker 3: power above there.
- 45:53Speaker 1: It's just the value of a witch, right, correct?
- 45:56Speaker 2: So what what are you thinking though?
- 45:58Speaker 1: Like or I was gonna say three, I'm fine with
- 46:03Speaker 1: the three.
- 46:04Speaker 2: I'm like going, I'll go from a one to it two.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Oh, well, there we go.
- 46:13Speaker 3: So so I think that three, So I think the
- 46:17Speaker 3: three is fine.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Three? Yeah, all right, we'll voted to a three. Then
- 46:24Speaker 1: she's still a two, all right.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Doll leater three power creature robot. After Reap returned two
- 46:34Speaker 3: enemy creatures to their owner's hand, Fate purge the most
- 46:38Speaker 3: powerful friendly creature, and we are now in the common
- 46:44Speaker 3: section here.
- 46:47Speaker 1: How come I can never get a deck with four
- 46:49Speaker 1: of this guy? Yeah, the faith is pretty good and
- 46:53Speaker 1: the like this is huge rhythm.
- 47:00Speaker 2: This four of these and a couple of sample forty twos,
- 47:03Speaker 2: and I'd be a happy person like you land two
- 47:06Speaker 2: delets and they can't kill both like you can control
- 47:09Speaker 2: board yeah for a long time, just by being like
- 47:14Speaker 2: back in your hand.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Even playing this sad sometime they actually have to, like
- 47:19Speaker 2: if you can land a couple of delets that they
- 47:22Speaker 2: can't handle for whatever reason, like at some point they
- 47:25Speaker 2: have to discard creatures from their hand until they have
- 47:29Speaker 2: more creatures in their hand than you can delete back
- 47:32Speaker 2: so they can actually do something, or the ability this
- 47:36Speaker 2: can just chain them forever. It is interesting if you
- 47:41Speaker 2: don't want to play because you got one or two
- 47:43Speaker 2: of them, his fate ability is very strong.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Yea.
- 47:47Speaker 3: It is interesting to see individuals who will continue to
- 47:50Speaker 3: play their creatures over and over and just get hand
- 47:52Speaker 3: clocked like.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so and hand clogging by bouncing creatures has always
- 48:00Speaker 2: been one of my favorite aspects of this game.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I don't know, I just I love that form of disruption.
- 48:07Speaker 1: No play that junk again, No play that junk again.
- 48:11Speaker 3: I think it's interesting as a turn one play going
- 48:14Speaker 3: first on. You know, it's not super strong, but it
- 48:16Speaker 3: is very much controlling or like it's a temple play. Unfortunately,
- 48:22Speaker 3: you just don't want to come back to Star Alliance
- 48:25Speaker 3: a ton.
- 48:26Speaker 2: I do if I have a couple of these, but
- 48:29Speaker 2: what happens. It's still I think it's a four or
- 48:33Speaker 2: a five, like I want them.
- 48:38Speaker 1: I could go four. I don't know if it's five though.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Five is pretty spicy.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very the most powerful creature. I mean, like
- 48:48Speaker 2: as a off at turn action kind of thing. If
- 48:52Speaker 2: you have the right things or prophecies.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Of course, sure I could go four. What do you
- 49:00Speaker 1: what do you think? Any walk?
- 49:01Speaker 3: I lean towards five. I actually do find spice in this.
- 49:05Speaker 3: I enjoy it. It has a lot. I have no
- 49:10Speaker 3: problem ever seeing more of them. So if you want
- 49:13Speaker 3: to go four, I hear it.
- 49:14Speaker 2: But I think we've been taking points everywhere else. This
- 49:17Speaker 2: is a car I actually want.
- 49:18Speaker 1: All Right, you guys vote all right, you voted it
- 49:22Speaker 1: up there, It is all right.
- 49:25Speaker 3: Next card we can lose some points here ed Synclark
- 49:28Speaker 3: creature human three power enhanced with an amber Pip and
- 49:32Speaker 3: capture Pip coming in fate, destroy a friendly artifact.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Okay, So this creature which mind you of the PV
- 49:42Speaker 2: we play is PV on PV because we're playing sealed yep.
- 49:47Speaker 2: And then the truth is now when you play ARCon nine,
- 49:51Speaker 2: of what you're playing is PV on PV so the
- 49:53Speaker 2: fate effect ends up being uninspired feeling because TV does
- 50:00Speaker 2: not have a lot of artifacts.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Uh, the enhance nice, it's nice, and the playing him
- 50:09Speaker 2: as a creature doesn't happen this guy. This guy definitely
- 50:13Speaker 2: just gets fed out as a faith all the time, right, Like,
- 50:17Speaker 2: the only reason you ever play this guy is because
- 50:19Speaker 2: you actually have a decent fate and you called Star
- 50:21Speaker 2: Alliance and you're just like, I guess, I, even with
- 50:28Speaker 2: the enhancements, don't want this card in my.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Deck, you know. So I went, as you guys know,
- 50:36Speaker 1: I just scored all these because we wanted scores out there,
- 50:40Speaker 1: and I had I had given it a higher score.
- 50:43Speaker 1: And I'm like, why did I give this such a
- 50:45Speaker 1: high score? Like I had given it a four and
- 50:47Speaker 1: I amber and potentially are And here's yeah, I think.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Outside of PV, this is a better card. But there
- 51:04Speaker 2: isn't a world outside of TV right now, so this
- 51:07Speaker 2: isn't a good card. So I think right now this
- 51:12Speaker 2: is a three. But if for some reason gr became
- 51:18Speaker 2: dominant again, this might go back up to a four
- 51:20Speaker 2: because then all of a sudden, destroying art facts is
- 51:22Speaker 2: good again.
- 51:23Speaker 1: I'll buy that. I'll buy that for sure. I I
- 51:26Speaker 1: when I first read this card, I was like, sweet,
- 51:28Speaker 1: but yeah, but.
- 51:30Speaker 2: In this all PV world, this card doesn't hack it.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Yeah, even if three feels slowly generous. Although, but the
- 51:39Speaker 1: enhance is nice, so yeah, yeah.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Yeah, But the problem is is the enhanced can fall
- 51:44Speaker 3: in cards that are just being faded, and so you
- 51:47Speaker 3: don't even sure. You're not even guaranteed that you're going
- 51:50Speaker 3: to enhance this anymore, and you can't be something it
- 51:53Speaker 3: could it could be.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I know it's hard. It's hard.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I don't be underwhelming.
- 52:01Speaker 2: I don't know how much to hate this thing, but
- 52:04Speaker 2: I know I don't like I'm disappointed when I see
- 52:07Speaker 2: a bunch of ends and clerks in my decklist.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Yeah, draz where you've thrown it? Ah, Three, it's hard
- 52:14Speaker 1: to It feels hard to go lower than a three,
- 52:17Speaker 1: even though part of me wants to cheap. Where are
- 52:20Speaker 1: you going?
- 52:22Speaker 2: Three is fine?
- 52:23Speaker 3: Okay, it is too, so there we go. I have
- 52:28Speaker 3: no problem hating on it. It is not something I want
- 52:30Speaker 3: to see. I'm not excited. But two, three, whatever you
- 52:34Speaker 3: guys go with. I guess the average puts it at three.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Wookie's not here to argue, ah, let's go into the
- 52:40Speaker 3: next common Precision Striker two Creature two power Creature robot
- 52:46Speaker 3: play after fight, after we discard the top three cards
- 52:49Speaker 3: of your opponent's deck, put one of the discarded cards
- 52:52Speaker 3: on the bottom of your opponent's deck.
- 52:56Speaker 1: This is Yeah, now.
- 53:00Speaker 2: I've done fine with this card.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I think it's because of it.
- 53:04Speaker 2: It's not amazing, but it is disruption. You like, because
- 53:08Speaker 2: of the discard, their trunk's creed and you feel real good.
- 53:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, but.
- 53:15Speaker 2: That's real disruption. And then you put the crappiest card
- 53:18Speaker 2: on the bottle of their decks so they have to
- 53:19Speaker 2: play through it. I've not hated this.
- 53:24Speaker 1: I've hated it. I'm like, why is this the one
- 53:26Speaker 1: I have to get?
- 53:27Speaker 3: Are you pitching this or are you pitching now this
- 53:30Speaker 3: guy's I mean, I'm playing it so that this.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Guy is more likely a play than a pitch if Yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 1: unless it ever has a window where you have to
- 53:39Speaker 1: call star Alliance.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah, this is another one. I think I've had two
- 53:46Speaker 2: of them on the board. This is a sealed game though,
- 53:48Speaker 2: so it is what it is, but a couple of
- 53:49Speaker 2: who's got on the board and you just keep reaping
- 53:51Speaker 2: with them and being like, let me get rid of
- 53:56Speaker 2: all your good cards. Mm hm, but what does that
- 54:01Speaker 2: put him?
- 54:02Speaker 3: Like?
- 54:02Speaker 2: He's still tiny? He does have a play effect one.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Well this is so this card is better than vandalize
- 54:13Speaker 2: minus the amblet. Now, yeah, vandalizes look at the top
- 54:17Speaker 2: three and discard one. This just scraps three and puts
- 54:21Speaker 2: the worst card back on the bottom of ack, so
- 54:22Speaker 2: they have to deal with it later. This is better
- 54:24Speaker 2: than vandalized.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Because you're getting rid of two. What about it? But
- 54:29Speaker 1: I don't like this card right?
- 54:33Speaker 3: Tell me why? Because it doesn't even.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Doesn't have a number pip on it, Like I want
- 54:37Speaker 1: basically every other star Lion screachure before this one. Almost
- 54:43Speaker 1: don't want Clark. I see this.
- 54:46Speaker 2: We're going to disagree because I don't want Clark, I
- 54:48Speaker 2: don't want Spade, I don't want Still it takes no.
- 54:54Speaker 2: I like this better than all those? Am I like
- 54:57Speaker 2: this better than then ms?
- 55:03Speaker 1: Really that's a that's a toss up. No, it's not.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Okay, all right, who's got the sealed record this year?
- 55:16Speaker 1: Not me?
- 55:17Speaker 2: Yeah, there we go. But what we're fighting about, like
- 55:23Speaker 2: how bad this mediocre card is? We're talking twos and threes, right,
- 55:26Speaker 2: because I'm not saying this thing is fours and five.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Well, all right, two then, I.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Mean I think this is a three.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I like this three. All right, what do you what
- 55:35Speaker 1: do you walk? Is a three?
- 55:37Speaker 3: But I like the disruption off of it.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Fine, three, you can you have a two? We heard
- 55:44Speaker 1: the descent, I have it, We're making it. Then you guys,
- 55:48Speaker 1: you guys get it on the three.
- 55:51Speaker 3: So all right, let's go on to some recovery operation
- 55:56Speaker 3: now that drazz is really defeated here. Recovery operation. No
- 55:59Speaker 3: amber pis action play. Discard the bottom three cards of
- 56:03Speaker 3: your deck. You may put any number of the discarded
- 56:06Speaker 3: cards on top of your deck in any order.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Also not great, but well it's occasionally okay, right,
- 56:16Speaker 1: you can you can put.
- 56:18Speaker 2: An amber pip to be a card I want.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's okay.
- 56:26Speaker 2: I mean it filters out the crap from your deck. Again,
- 56:29Speaker 2: a card that I feel like is better and sealed
- 56:31Speaker 2: than in that's true.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Yep, Ironically, this actually plays. I mean, if you're not drawing,
- 56:39Speaker 3: you can go ahead and tell what cards coming next.
- 56:42Speaker 3: For some of the prophecies, it's not.
- 56:44Speaker 2: Definitely a telegraph your next turn card.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a card it's yeah, it's a card, like,
- 56:55Speaker 1: is this comparable to any this is It's not as
- 56:58Speaker 1: good as the Look at the top draw card.
- 57:02Speaker 2: What's the other one that's Amber Pip and just rearrange
- 57:06Speaker 2: the top two cards.
- 57:10Speaker 1: That one. Uh yeah, I don't know. I give this
- 57:18Speaker 1: a two.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Okay two.
- 57:21Speaker 3: I am one hundred percent fine with two. I think
- 57:24Speaker 3: it like if cards are on the bottom and you're
- 57:27Speaker 3: pulling it back, yes, it telegraphs. But if you have
- 57:29Speaker 3: one of those eight sixteen one of the cards, that
- 57:34Speaker 3: is ridiculous that you need there's a book LQ. Yeah,
- 57:42Speaker 3: I think it too is appropriate. All right, let's go on, boys,
- 57:45Speaker 3: we have refits.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Which is there? It is? Okay?
- 57:51Speaker 3: Uh nice, Wookie girl, I like it action Amber Pip play.
- 57:57Speaker 3: You may move and upgrade and play to an another creature.
- 58:01Speaker 3: Fate destroy an upgrade attached to a friendly creature.
- 58:07Speaker 2: This is the card you get four of because Luke
- 58:11Speaker 2: hates us.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Yeah, well this is where like because it's in the
- 58:15Speaker 3: common slot.
- 58:16Speaker 1: It's so frustrating.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Yeah, this should still be an oncommon, right, It's just not.
- 58:21Speaker 2: It's like it is a kind of neat play space
- 58:24Speaker 2: very rarely. Mm hmmm, So is is this a zero
- 58:32Speaker 2: or is this.
- 58:32Speaker 1: The number one? I gave it a one.
- 58:34Speaker 2: It has an amber pip and every once in a
- 58:37Speaker 2: while it does something. Yeah, well, lets you steal that
- 58:41Speaker 2: scutum for your atrocity, or steal the scut.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Them discard it because you don't want to move your upgrade.
- 58:55Speaker 2: I don't know that happened.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Should we give it a zero? Just to show how
- 58:59Speaker 1: trash is you know? Occasionally?
- 59:03Speaker 2: Yes, this is like if you had the advanced scoring
- 59:06Speaker 2: and this is a one, then zero zero zero zero zero,
- 59:09Speaker 2: like one of these more than one of these.
- 59:12Speaker 1: No, all right, let's trash it. Let's call the zero.
- 59:16Speaker 2: Okay, we're just taking points of Star Alliance.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Well, we gave it. We gave him a bunch with
- 59:23Speaker 1: h with precision story to her and deleted there. So
- 59:33Speaker 1: all of a sudden, Star Lions just jumped up so
- 59:36Speaker 1: high Striker never knows anything for me.
- 59:40Speaker 3: Okay, shall we go and talk about a sweet, sweet
- 59:45Speaker 3: bearded man. Reservist Jones three power Creature Human deploy play
- 59:51Speaker 3: capture two amber for each of Reservist Jones's non Star
- 59:55Speaker 3: Alliance neighbors.
- 59:58Speaker 1: I just wish, I wish.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Everywhere I go I see this. Yeah, like freewhere.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Where stickers of the everywhere. It's a good mugs creeping
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: like so, so manmon has this play mat? Now? The
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: is that?
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Is that an energy drink or a spaceball?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Yes? Yeah? The uh the wide the widescreen version of
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: this where you see the whole cool landscape. It is
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: really cool, like like he got he got great art
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: with this, like lots of run around and Captain Morgan everywhere.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Like this is probably the best, the best used art
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: pledge that I've seen.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: I give him credit. He has used his pledge very well.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: But is that a self pleasure device attached to the So?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah remember euro Trip? What was that that crazy
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: long word that that movie?
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Or I mean I have see euro Trip, but I
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: don't remember this a.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Billion years ago. Yeah, it's like a google gloshy good,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: it's this crazy assex toy. I don't remember whatever. And heist,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Yeah there you go something like that. No, that is
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: not it back Fife and heist being say punched to
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: the face. That is of course you would know this.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Okay, So reverse of Jones, do we say what he
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: does or we just been talking about the art.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I already did that already I think, so, pa,
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: should I say it again for you?
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Now? Okay, so deploy captures four.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: So he'll just say it anyway. Oh my goodness. Sometimes yeah,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: like you know, this card is.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Always like oh crap Amber control. Yeah, like losing I
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: guess Jones this turn and.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Hope I draw something and then yeah, I.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Hate this card. But this guy also uh sadly gets
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: faded quite a bit.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Two, okay, what do you guys?
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: I mean, like I said, it's a tough it's like
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: this one and and the card I like a precision striker.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: You know these are I want like one reservist Jones
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: and three well and three the leaders. Yeah, so yeah,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: okay two two three somewhere in there.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Two point yeah it is a two, so two it is.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Sorry, man, we don't we don't love your card. We
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: know you didn't design the ability.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: We do love the mug shot, though, Man looking good
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: all right facilitates uh two power creature robot recruiter with
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: an enhanced Star Alliance PIP after the light After reap,
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: you may ready a non robot creature for each facilitates
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Star Alliance neighbors.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: So house enhancement. Plus you kind of got to take
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: care of it. It's a little witch like this is
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: this is this.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Is the other card that you have to have to
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: go real bananas and Star Alliance. Sadly, the leader is
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: a robot. But you can reuse your pointless clerks Jones.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Yeah, now your bridge officers, Zorrows.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I've definitely he's definitely right a few bridge officers for
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: me and my There are a handful of reprints that
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: we haven't touched on that this guy works with. So
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: the House enhanced this is the card. It's like as
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: a creature, he's probably still only like a two on
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: his own, Like he's a he's a witch you have
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: to deal with sometimes, right, like if you actually have
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: because you may only have robots and then you're like,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: this card's stupid. Yeah, but he may be sitting next
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: to guys who are really good that you get to
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: then go bananas with, so you know, he's like again,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: he's like two three creature wise, is the enhance enough
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: to push this into the traditional enhanced four spot?
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: No? I think so, I mean I'd be fine with that.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I mean, like.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: House enhanced cards can be good.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: M what do you want to see this? Star lines
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: pip On what's your ideal Christmas tree land that you're
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: super happy about?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Anything for efficiency, it's efficiency, not.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: A card that I'm going to fake.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Hm, sure, fair enough Christmas Lands, foreseer or something right
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: forcier a robot. I don't know.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: That I have to check. Let's say one of you
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: cards H for SR is a cyborg scientist, so you
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: could totally ready or foreseer.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Zeph punches. There's a lot of logos.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: I feel like, similar to reservist Jones it being a
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: to something. This is really scilitate, being more of a
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: three something. I can't push it into that four. That's
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: where I'm struggling.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Okay, and you'll stab a L eight aater for some reason.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I got a three, sheep's got a four. Break that.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: There we go.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Then that's okay.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Four It is.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Another sweet four here for spade Teller two power creature
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: human play after fight.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: After we choose a.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: House, discard the top card of your deck. If that
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: card belongs to the chosen house, gain one.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: So it does work with a lot of Star Alliance,
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: manipulate the top of your deck. Ask again later, Yeah,
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: and ask again later. And it is our boy Rob.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: It is the sweet DJ headset going on there.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but no, right, I tell you what. I have
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: made Amber off of them. But it's because I have
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: facilitate and I'm just going right right, So these two wow, okay, generous,
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: generous sky hell it?
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Oh you're gonna go one? You were I haead a one? Wow? Yeah, sorry,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: I think.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: I can live with two.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: I can live with the two too.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: But it's got to play effect. It definitely makes Amber sometimes.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: It actually with the ability to control the top of
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: your deck that exists because future Boister's reprinted and stuff.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: It's actually discarding cards you don't want to draw. But
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: it's like, yeah, it's cool, yes, but for me, yeah,
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: that's again sealed thing more than our correct.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: But when you're playing this, you have to discard the
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: top card, and there's cards I do not want to hit,
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: and if I don't have something to preview what's coming,
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: that's really really dangerous there.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: So yeah, that's true. I can see that.
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: It is the worst when you go ahead and you
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: have a ten point card that got discarded for spade
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: teller and you're like, oh that was yeah, no, all.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Right, so what's your final decision draz first Spade Teller
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: two yeah, two yeah, okay, all the last card.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: Strategic Feint. Mm hmmm Action Amber Pip definitely needed that.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: Play deal one damage to two enemy creatures and exhaust
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: them Fate. Discard the top card of your deck until
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: the end of the turn. You may not play cards
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: of the discarded cards.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Pipe. Hey, it's the third in our demon and Demonic
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: trio of Fates. Yeah, definitely one you want. So by
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: the way, he gave Traumatic Echo, which you could select
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: what type of card they cannot play A five. Mm hm.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: But we're giving this a six. Is that what we're
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: saying here? Because because the Fate, because it's a fate,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: so it screws them up mid turn and makes them
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: on to hate TV because.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: It happens after house call.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I think that's really the difference. Like I mean, I.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: Traumatic Echo did play well at Worlds for Arcan has
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: a really important part to limit kind of what's being played.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: But because this is like the timing of when Strategic
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: Feint is going off with the Fates, that's the reason
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: that I think it pushes to a six.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I think your argument you've just made is that traumatic
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Echo should be probably a six because.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: I definitely held that card for two turns to close
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: a game out. Yeah, because that is bust.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, there's definitely like, uh, there's definitely some cards that
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: we should maybe go back and revisit. Uh, well we
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: were all right, so so actually let's ask you, dear listener.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: So we were getting cards. Yeah, yeah, the only two
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: that are left that everybody else got got bored. We
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: still got a look at card of our gas the
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: rest of them, right. We had JML for a while,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: we had Barry for a while, we had Walla Blue
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: for a while. We had whole bunch of folks in here.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: So we were getting crap in, uh from uh from
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Harmed and Judo and Donkey for is that. We gave
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: one to Parallel Thinking and uh, I was like, you
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: can't count on it, you know, it's uh you know
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: often does nothing all this and they were like, no way,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: it should be way better. So I don't know, is
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: one wrong? Yeah, like yeah, low Car says, Parallel is
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: still one. You hope it works. I agree. They're saying, hey,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: you can set up the archives, and Mammon chimed in
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: saying AD's better. Than you think. Vargas says two to three.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I don't know. What do you guys think? Do we
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: need to change parallel thick gig or do we g
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: So I.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Was gonna say as actually as bar gas when I
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: have it that cards is zero, you have it, it's
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: a freaking five because it's going to freaking hit two
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: cards I want and steal. Steele Am Brown like this
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: is stupid.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean I could see I could bump
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: it up to a two. I feel for something that's
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: so so random.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I don't love it.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: I don't, I don't, I don't love it.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I mean I did manage in one game two, you know,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: set it up where I had too.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Of the same in my archives, so I knew I
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: was going to get the steal.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: But like the fact that I had two bad cards
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: as willing to leave my archives until I hit parallel
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: thinking tells you you know what kind of game I
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: was playing.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: It was a game where parallel thinking was not important.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: It's another card that is potentially better and sealed.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Yes, you can valiate, you can hit.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: In ARCon. You can hit archives that happen like just
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: discarding two cards from your opponents archives in ARCon is
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: potentially valuable even if it doesn't steal.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Although there's so much archive hit now they probably you
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: probably already got rid of their archive last turn, right,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Like dude.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: I mean like that that that Alliance thing I was playing.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I only had one card that hit archives and it
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: was under a fate and it didn't hit and that
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: lost me my top eight game, So you know, like
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: love Mark, I would have been good for me there.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: What do you think, you walk?
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: I think that it probably is more along the lines
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: of a two, just for where it is. I think
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: the impact on discarding cards, it's ability to target your
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: own archives which you can control, or your opponent's archives.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: I think it's a two so I've seen it do work.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna change it to a two.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: Higher than that, No, no, no, I definitely not higher
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: than that. For other Star Alliance cards that have been reprinted,
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: anything stand out to you, guys, just with a quick.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Overview future Booster Book and Scout Contrino Flux like that
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I've liked most. So this Kaushik Fall is the first,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: like weird Star Alliance board wipe that I didn't like.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Uh well, I guess that's not true. I didn't like
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: into the warp either, but the Contrinos I've always liked,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: which came back. Let's see the horizon's back. That's that's good, right.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I can't believe they brought back stronger together. Why would
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: you do that? Hold the line? Uh, I guess that's
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: all right, bard down, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: I thought it was interesting with Laya the land and
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: Navigator Ali coming back, just so that you can control
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: kind of what's next. So there is some synergy that
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: you see, but for.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: The most lot of top deck synergy correct Star Alliance.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: But for the most part, what I find important is
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: going to be future booster. That Quintrino flucks.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: That's what are you cracking together? They're sheep, You got coconuts.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Let's going on, I got let's let's keep moving.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: This is why, Well, you can't use our audio. Okay,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: So I'm gonna press since we did All Star Alliance,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna press this magical update card ratings button and
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: crash the server. Here we go boo boom, and everyone's
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: gonna recalculating all decks. Here it goes. Oh that's right.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I had to slow it down because its problems is
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: take a hot minute.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: All right, all right, boys, we're an hour and fifteen minutes.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: So that yeah, what do we do untamed? Or we
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: leave up for another time? What are we what are
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: we doing?
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: I mean, I think we're in an hour fifteen minutes,
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: so we're pretty good for tonight.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Pretty good? Yeah, that was pretty good. That's pretty good.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Do we have anything else we want to re score?
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Got a few minutes.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: This this, this is true, you know, I think we
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: should do sometime. Actually, we should each just do a
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: little homewark, go back through, and then we can each
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: bring forward a few cards and talk about those. I
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: think that could be interesting.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Okay, that's the twenty seven.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Actually live, So we are stupid. Wookie gave Atrocity a four,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: and so did E walk you and I Sheep gave
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: it a six.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: I feel like she understand how this game works.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I don't understand. Actually, I have this note over here,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: dress score six. I think I just overrode his idiot said,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: and it is a six. I think I just five,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: So maybe we don't need to re score it. Uh yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: six for sure. Three. Get out of here. It's going
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: down to it two now.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: It's gonna be interesting when we get to untamed, because
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: I have no love for it, but.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: I gave it a lot of ones.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: It's it's being used, it's being used in alliance.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Well there are, yes, there are like a small number
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: of real good cards. But other than that, our audience
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: is saying that, oh, you shouldn't have should also that's
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: bar Gas. He's got all three. He's got all three
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: of the trophies. I mean we we should you know, certainly?
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: It it is? It is good?
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Is it? Is it four good? I don't know because
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: three Amber, I guess because of the timing, right, Like
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: we haven't cards to just give you three Ember. We
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: haven't given above a three historically. But but the timing
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: of when you get it is maybe the key here
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: three Amber.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: After after they can no longer respond Yeah.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Yeah, like you know early Bird or or one of
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: those cards, right yep? So yeah, mmmm alright until like
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: two interred decks in recalculating. So it's going to take
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: a bit.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Well, we will see you next week then after after Thanksgiving,
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: and it'll still be calculating.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Is that what we're hearing? Dress? No, I mean it'll
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: take a minute.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: It is this running on a MacBook in your closet.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: No, it's it's running on a w S. But the
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: the way I have it working is actually not good,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: the way it recoc scores, and I just haven't fixed
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: it because I remember in five code of the whole thing.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: So basically it's pulling each deck, calculating in my browser
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: and then going back and updating the server. And that
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: is the stupidest way to be doing it. So I
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: really need to change it to be like no, no, no,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: just like make this a batch process on the server
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: that it kicks off. But but I don't know, this
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: is how it works right now. I'll have to change this.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: There's a whole bunch of things I have to change
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: with this thing. So you know, when I get around to.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: It twenty seven, you know, we get to twenty twenty seven,
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: and then it's twenty twenty eight.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: It's out there. Get your sign up right if you're so,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: if you're not a Patreon right now, you get a
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: We give you a few deck scores and you can
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: definitely look at all the decks that other people have scored.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: And then if you become a Patreon and we got
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: to have Wookie fix the levels because we're not doing
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: like alpha scores or anything like that. And right now
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: I really have one set of scores of fetches or
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: whatever we call it that folks get. But in the
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: future I have some ideas as to what the higher
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: level tiers would be, but I just have to find
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: time to actually uh implement those or to tell Claude
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: to implement those. So yeah, Claude, that's right, that's right.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: I mean, I'll still often score people's stacks. It's a c.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: It's just a random random score is still exists.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: It's a Burger token out again.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Burger token score is still uh uh Burger token Keyford score. Goodness,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: this is the best radio I've heard in a while. Guys.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: All right, guys, is there anything else that you have
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: closing up shop? Yep, all right, well thanks for listening
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: to our ramblings. Uh yeah, keyboards cool yay.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: So what does what you say at the end? He says,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: he says something something, go and do things and then
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: and then he says some word that triggers me. And
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: then I go, happy fortune and everyone, and then you
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: are to be with you exactly. And then we and
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: then
