Monday, 17 March 2025 Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” Matthew 8:21 “And another – of His disciples – said to Him, ‘Lord, You permit me first to go and inter my father’” (CG). In the previous verse, Jesus told the scribe that the Son of Man has nowhere to recline His head. Next, He is again approached. Matthew records that, beginning with, “And another – of His disciples.” The word translated as another, héteros, signifies another, but distinct in kind.
