Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Magia ninety four nine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of Scotty and Abbey Unfiltered.
- 0:07Speaker 2: This is too cute happening in the studio right now,
- 0:09Speaker 2: so we gotta.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Acknowledge it early stuff.
- 0:12Speaker 2: So we have Alexia in our Midday Gal, our Saint
- 0:15Speaker 2: Pete Queen, and she just came into the studio with
- 0:18Speaker 2: a bunch of gifts for Abby.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Abby's wearing all of it. Where'd you bring?
- 0:24Speaker 1: So I had to give Abby a little Saint Pete
- 0:26Speaker 1: Al's a welcome kit. And for those who don't know,
- 0:28Speaker 1: Saint Pete Gal's is my creator community. It's like female focus.
- 0:32Speaker 1: We do events and get togethers, and obviously Abby is
- 0:34Speaker 1: our newest member and star, so we had to give
- 0:37Speaker 1: her our Saint Pete Gal's trucker hat. It's giving y
- 0:40Speaker 1: two k. I love that you're inspired by the days
- 0:43Speaker 1: of like von Dutch. So Abby's got her hat on.
- 0:45Speaker 1: She looks so cute.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Then Paris Hilton right now, we're.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Gonna have to resize it. Those a little big for
- 0:49Speaker 1: your head.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I also have my Disney Princess bun in, so it's
- 0:52Speaker 3: kind of it's kind of making it flop around.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And she's got the eye patches, the caffeine eye patches.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I love these eye patches. Normally these never stay on
- 1:00Speaker 3: my face, like I always feel like they're sliding and falling.
- 1:02Speaker 3: These are so cute and they're actually sticky.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I know. And you know you've been up since the
- 1:07Speaker 1: crack of assholes on, so we were deep in the
- 1:11Speaker 1: asshole crack. You need some caffeine eye patches. And then
- 1:14Speaker 1: there's a lip kit where you know, Abby can line
- 1:17Speaker 1: her lips and get them all plumped up and ready
- 1:21Speaker 1: for the boys.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Wow, you know I'm going to be hit in the town.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Oh I can make a little spot appointment too.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I forgot. Those are like to shout
- 1:29Speaker 1: out in a vatale spa, they're like my go to
- 1:31Speaker 1: pretty close by here, so easy for you to go
- 1:33Speaker 1: do something before after. And then the other one's a
- 1:36Speaker 1: laze medspare. You're kind of like conflicting, not really no,
- 1:39Speaker 1: alays is more of a med spa, so if you're
- 1:42Speaker 1: trying to go do like your botox or whatever, like lasers,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and a vatal is more like your petticure, your massage.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You're facial. There's so many things, and I've been talking
- 1:51Speaker 1: to my husband about this. Now I'm in my thirties,
- 1:54Speaker 1: I haven't done botox or filler yet.
- 1:55Speaker 4: You have it.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I have not.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I just got botox for the first time. See, I
- 1:59Speaker 3: would never know that.
- 1:59Speaker 1: And that's what I want, Like I'm not I want
- 2:01Speaker 1: to start getting less fearful about it and do it
- 2:05Speaker 1: in a way that's not noticeable and noticeable tweaks. But
- 2:08Speaker 1: I was listening or watching the Nikki Glazer on Call
- 2:11Speaker 1: Her Daddy. Yeah so good.
- 2:13Speaker 3: She was talking about how everyone's getting facelifts. Now I
- 2:15Speaker 3: know that's like something to do.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Well, okay, like at first it was boatox. Was like,
- 2:20Speaker 2: oh my god, and now that's not enough. So now
- 2:22Speaker 2: what we're gonna just do face? Like my whole thing
- 2:24Speaker 2: is do what you want. It is your body, do
- 2:26Speaker 2: what Like, I just don't want you feeling pressured to
- 2:29Speaker 2: do it because the rest of society is doing it, because.
- 2:32Speaker 1: That seems like a lot a face goes luck, sister,
- 2:35Speaker 1: because we're past that point.
- 2:36Speaker 3: But I mean, our society said do it, but no,
- 2:40Speaker 3: I saw that. But I didn't think people were doing
- 2:41Speaker 3: face lifts until they were like fifty.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Well that's what she was saying. She said, she's forty
- 2:44Speaker 1: and she's considering it within the next five years.
- 2:46Speaker 3: She does not need it. She does not, but she
- 2:49Speaker 3: was saying judgmental. Heck, I'd be like, yeah, that girl
- 2:51Speaker 3: needs some work. She was saying that.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Now the celebrities in Hollywood, though, that's a thing you
- 2:55Speaker 1: think like these. She hinted at one famous actress, which
- 2:58Speaker 1: I think is Anne Hathaway, that it's she went away
- 3:01Speaker 1: for a couple of years and all of a sudden
- 3:02Speaker 1: she's like glowing and people are.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Like, oh, she just drank more water. She just looked
- 3:05Speaker 3: more hyaluronic acid.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And it's like, no, she had this very imperceivable facelift.
- 3:10Speaker 1: And I mean that just freaks me out. And the
- 3:14Speaker 1: brutal recovery process, the expense, the upkeep of that, the
- 3:18Speaker 1: potential of error.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Freaks me out.
- 3:21Speaker 3: But if you pay enough and you go to the
- 3:23Speaker 3: right person, Yeah, But I will say, like, when you
- 3:25Speaker 3: get stuff done to your face, it is psychologically as
- 3:28Speaker 3: difficult as it is physically. Like I got a nose job.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Really, I would have years ago never known that did
- 3:33Speaker 1: a great job.
- 3:34Speaker 3: But he could have not done a good job. Do
- 3:36Speaker 3: you know what I mean. And so that's the risk
- 3:37Speaker 3: that you take, and it's like, it's scary. It's the
- 3:40Speaker 3: scariest thing I've ever done.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I can't imagine you look amazing. So
- 3:43Speaker 1: obviously the results were yeah, primo. But how is that process?
- 3:47Speaker 1: Like you don't mind, Like.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I'll talk about it like I'm I'm very open,
- 3:51Speaker 3: like my teeth are fake, my nose is fake. Oh
- 3:53Speaker 3: my gosh, I love it. I know. But for me,
- 3:55Speaker 3: I I my opinion on plastic surgery, and I think
- 3:58Speaker 3: just your appearance in general is you have no say
- 4:02Speaker 3: and how you come into this world, Like you don't
- 4:05Speaker 3: get to choose the cards that you're dealt And for me,
- 4:09Speaker 3: I would rather figure out how to play these cards
- 4:11Speaker 3: to the best of my ability. And for me, maybe
- 4:14Speaker 3: that's a shallow thing to say, is like I want
- 4:16Speaker 3: to be attractive and do what it takes to be attractive.
- 4:19Speaker 3: And so for me, I was like, well, what are
- 4:20Speaker 3: the things that don't make me feel pretty? And I've
- 4:23Speaker 3: always hated my teeth. It was like, actually, kind of
- 4:26Speaker 3: I knew it would be more of a and it
- 4:29Speaker 3: would be harder for me to have my natural teeth
- 4:31Speaker 3: rather than take the risk and do something kind of
- 4:33Speaker 3: crazy and get veneers just because I hated my teeth
- 4:36Speaker 3: so much. They looked like little vampire teeth that they
- 4:39Speaker 3: were off center, they were yellow, and I was like,
- 4:42Speaker 3: you know what, I just I just want someone to
- 4:43Speaker 3: shave them down and put something over.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Hell.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it was it expensive as fuck, absolutely so expensive,
- 4:48Speaker 3: but I was able to do it. And then with
- 4:50Speaker 3: my nose. My nose was one of those things that
- 4:52Speaker 3: I never really thought I would do. It was one
- 4:54Speaker 3: of those things that in adulthood, I was like, yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 3: maybe I should do that. I don't know, like, I
- 4:57Speaker 3: think I'll look into it. And then I did research
- 5:00Speaker 3: and visited a bunch of doctors and it was financially
- 5:03Speaker 3: accessible for me, and I thought, even if they just
- 5:06Speaker 3: make my nose like a little bit more normal looking,
- 5:08Speaker 3: like I think this would be a worthy investment. Like,
- 5:10Speaker 3: don't get a nose job if you just like want
- 5:12Speaker 3: one little thing shaved down. That's crazy because it's hard
- 5:16Speaker 3: to be so precise with the whole rhinoplasty thing. And yeah,
- 5:20Speaker 3: I did it, and the recovery was brutal for about
- 5:23Speaker 3: three weeks two, about two weeks two, it's two weeks
- 5:26Speaker 3: of life really sucking, and then three months of life
- 5:30Speaker 3: kind of sucking, and then a year of life feeling
- 5:33Speaker 3: kind of weird, and then I think, actually the year
- 5:35Speaker 3: after is the hardest because that's when everything is sort
- 5:39Speaker 3: of because the whole first year, your nose is fluctuating
- 5:42Speaker 3: so much that you're like, okay, well at one point
- 5:45Speaker 3: it's gonna look good. At one point it's gonna look good.
- 5:47Speaker 3: But for me, I swell a lot, just normally, and
- 5:49Speaker 3: so that has carried over to my nose to where
- 5:52Speaker 3: it's after a year. That's kind of like the timeline
- 5:54Speaker 3: that everyone's telling you to wait, wait out for way
- 5:56Speaker 3: out for Whereas a year later, I was like, I
- 5:58Speaker 3: still feel like I'm swollen, you know, and you really
- 6:01Speaker 3: need a good doctor to be able to reassure you
- 6:03Speaker 3: that everything's fine.
- 6:05Speaker 1: That's insane. Wow, you're ballsy, man. That's I'm such a chicken.
- 6:08Speaker 1: That's why I haven't done anything. I'm just scared. So
- 6:11Speaker 1: more power to you, because I totally agree. What's if
- 6:13Speaker 1: you want to look a certain way and feel a
- 6:14Speaker 1: certain way, why not reflect that if you financially and
- 6:17Speaker 1: physically can A lot of my friends got boob jobs.
- 6:19Speaker 1: In high school. That was like the graduation gift.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I was shocked at how common the boob.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Job is for women.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I love it, Like Kat Stickler talking like post, I
- 6:28Speaker 3: would love to get.
- 6:28Speaker 4: A boob job again.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Too scared. I mean you have boobs? No, yeah, I
- 6:31Speaker 3: mean I've got.
- 6:32Speaker 1: The meat jack. It's just one goes east, one goes west,
- 6:35Speaker 1: looks like a you.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Know, one's one's got a lazy eye.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's like winking at you. So I mean maybe one day,
- 6:47Speaker 1: never say never, you.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Know, And now it's so common. I mean, it's not
- 6:50Speaker 2: just it's your face, it's your body. It's so many
- 6:53Speaker 2: people are doing it, and it's so common that I
- 6:55Speaker 2: also appreciate when people are open about it because we
- 6:58Speaker 2: look at so many of these celebrities and there, to
- 7:00Speaker 2: our eyes, perfect unobtainable. And then you learn the behind
- 7:03Speaker 2: the scenes. You're like, oh, you've had you know, well,
- 7:06Speaker 2: guys will look like you know, you've had a hair transplant.
- 7:09Speaker 2: There's so many of these dudes that you're like, man, yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 2: I wish you could a flow like that. You're like, oh, wait,
- 7:13Speaker 2: that's because he's had like three transplants done.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Flew to Turkey.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah, got the works. You were comparing ourselves to people
- 7:20Speaker 2: that have had work done. So if that's something, like
- 7:22Speaker 2: you said, if it's obtainable for you, and it's something
- 7:25Speaker 2: you thought about and you want to do, shoot, sure
- 7:27Speaker 2: life exactly.
- 7:28Speaker 3: We're our own sculptors or our own works of art.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Like That's how I've always viewed cosmetic surgery or whatever.
- 7:34Speaker 3: It's like, you get to be your own painting, and
- 7:37Speaker 3: you know there's only so much you can really do.
- 7:39Speaker 3: You only have so many colors you can work with,
- 7:41Speaker 3: only so many brushes you can work with. But if
- 7:44Speaker 3: you want to to have your painting be as close
- 7:47Speaker 3: to the painting you have in your mind, why not
- 7:49Speaker 3: go for it.
- 7:49Speaker 2: That's an interesting point because I don't want any procedures,
- 7:52Speaker 2: but I do remember when I was younger, I wanted
- 7:53Speaker 2: to try steroids.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Okay, well that's crazy.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Okay, I'm.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Rid of my pinocchio nos ingesting drugs.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Oh I never did it. Let me go ahead and
- 8:05Speaker 4: clarify that right now.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But I always had that fascination of, Wow, look at
- 8:09Speaker 2: these dudes that are ripped up, and I think this
- 8:12Speaker 2: is the connection to the guy side of it, because
- 8:13Speaker 2: we're like, Okay, I want to be bigger, faster, stronger.
- 8:16Speaker 2: In our brain, we think that's the more attractive look.
- 8:18Speaker 2: You get older, you learn not really always the case,
- 8:22Speaker 2: but I do remember, like there's years where I would
- 8:24Speaker 2: go and I would research different kinds of steroids. How
- 8:27Speaker 2: do you get steroids? Can I take cystostro? And I'm
- 8:30Speaker 2: glad I did enough research because I was young and
- 8:31Speaker 2: I was like, I could have fed myself up. Oh yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I've done that too early in the day, I didn't
- 8:36Speaker 2: do any of it, and I still haven't done any
- 8:37Speaker 2: of it, and I don't plan on doing any of it,
- 8:39Speaker 2: but a lot I talked to dudes all the time
- 8:40Speaker 2: that are like, yeah, man, eighteen, hit, I went into college,
- 8:44Speaker 2: I started roiding up.
- 8:45Speaker 4: That's crazy and jacks them up for years.
- 8:48Speaker 3: But I think that's another good point of when things
- 8:50Speaker 3: can be taken too far, you know, especially again not
- 8:53Speaker 3: making permanent decisions until you're an adult or also you know,
- 8:57Speaker 3: I think there's an extent, Like I said, like with
- 8:58Speaker 3: the paintbrush theory, I think, sure, you could also buy
- 9:02Speaker 3: more paint, but is that paint healthy for your canvas?
- 9:05Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, yeah, you know what I mean, Like
- 9:07Speaker 3: tasosterone and steroids, I feel like could maybe not in
- 9:11Speaker 3: the same boat. But when people abuse gopi ones, Yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 3: I was going to talk about that, there's certainly a
- 9:16Speaker 3: place for gop ones. I'm not ever gonna be like,
- 9:18Speaker 3: don't take them, don't take them to take them, but
- 9:19Speaker 3: if you're if you're abusing them or using them to
- 9:21Speaker 3: the point where you're like not eating, or if you're
- 9:24Speaker 3: you know, like lay Love from Secret Lives and Mormon Wives,
- 9:26Speaker 3: I think she's like ninety nine pounds in taking one.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, like that's too much. It is. It is, And
- 9:31Speaker 1: as someone who has taken them, like I could see
- 9:34Speaker 1: it becoming an easy spiral, Like I have a very
- 9:37Speaker 1: addictive personality to begin with, and I could see like,
- 9:40Speaker 1: oh wow, like I'm literally not hungry, I'm skinny. This
- 9:43Speaker 1: is amazing, And see how it could become a cycle,
- 9:46Speaker 1: especially when you're getting like the positive affirmation of people
- 9:48Speaker 1: being like oh really great, would look so good? You're like, okay,
- 9:52Speaker 1: let's keep this going.
- 9:53Speaker 3: So I totally say we keep these good babs going.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Yeah, let's keep this lack of sustenance going. So I
- 9:59Speaker 1: totally have that that's huge thing right now.
- 10:01Speaker 3: For sure, and way less can be addicting. Like once
- 10:03Speaker 3: you get to a point when you get that positive
- 10:05Speaker 3: affirmation and you have that cycle in your brain of
- 10:08Speaker 3: every time I lose a little bit of weight, I
- 10:09Speaker 3: feel really good. You can get stuck in that loop
- 10:12Speaker 3: of taking it too far.
- 10:14Speaker 2: That is such a good point, but also and completely
- 10:17Speaker 2: changing things up. I wanted to actually talk to Alexi
- 10:19Speaker 2: because the last time we got to talk to you
- 10:21Speaker 2: was you're getting ready to go on your anniversary date
- 10:23Speaker 2: and you're about to go into the anniversary.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Of three years.
- 10:27Speaker 2: And I got to see a lot of the pictures
- 10:28Speaker 2: on Instagram, and honestly just out of curiosity, I mean,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and I were like, we want to know about that
- 10:33Speaker 2: dinner spot that y'all went to, because that looked incredible.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It was probably the best meal I've had in Saint Pete.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I would say ilber Torno is usually my favorite. I
- 10:42Speaker 1: love pasta, and it's very elevated pasta at ilver Torno.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Shout out chef David Benstock Il Retornol.
- 10:49Speaker 4: It's a Michelin restaurant.
- 10:51Speaker 3: It's one of the only Michelin recognized in Saint Pete.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Specifically, that's what we went from my birthday last year
- 10:55Speaker 2: and it was awesome.
- 10:56Speaker 4: This was inside, was fun.
- 10:58Speaker 2: It felt very like open and they had the chefs
- 11:01Speaker 2: that you could see them making the dish.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I love that when it feels very elegant.
- 11:05Speaker 1: The open kitchen concept. It's very New York City and
- 11:08Speaker 1: so Ilvertorno gives you that vibe. But Elliott Astor at
- 11:10Speaker 1: the Vanoy is just unreal. And so we got married
- 11:13Speaker 1: at the Vanoy three years ago and we were the
- 11:15Speaker 1: first wedding weekend post renovation. Oh wow and so abby.
- 11:19Speaker 1: That was like a huge renovation. It was closed for
- 11:22Speaker 1: like two three years, and we signed the contract to
- 11:24Speaker 1: marry at the Vanoi during COVID, so we didn't and
- 11:28Speaker 1: they took that opportunity of COVID time to do the renno.
- 11:31Speaker 1: So we didn't know this was happening. We signed, and
- 11:33Speaker 1: then they're like, oh, listen, they get married for like
- 11:35Speaker 1: three years. But we're like, you know what, it's fine.
- 11:36Speaker 1: We've been together like ten years at this point, or
- 11:39Speaker 1: like eight years. We can wait.
- 11:40Speaker 3: And we got a really good deal.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Otherwise I would never have been able to get married there.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And Elliott aster wasn't built yet. It was just an
- 11:48Speaker 1: empty grand ballroom that they used as a ballroom space
- 11:51Speaker 1: and we actually had our wedding dinner tasting there with
- 11:53Speaker 1: the chef in that room.
- 11:54Speaker 3: So walking in, I was like, oh my god, this
- 11:57Speaker 3: was the room.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And there was just a lot of it was the
- 11:59Speaker 1: entrance the NOI for a period of time when they're
- 12:01Speaker 1: renovating the big grand entrance we all know today. So
- 12:05Speaker 1: it's interesting how they've transformed that room into the spectacular
- 12:08Speaker 1: great Gaspiesque dining hall. It's got like beautiful chandeliers and
- 12:13Speaker 1: the chef, I forget his name, the lead chef, but
- 12:15Speaker 1: he's based out of Chicago. O cool, so it's got
- 12:17Speaker 1: like that vibe. Chef Penny is the executive chef in
- 12:20Speaker 1: the house who's a pasta master. So I definitely say
- 12:23Speaker 1: order the pasta you can tell okay. So some pasta
- 12:27Speaker 1: spots that you need to add to your list. Pia's
- 12:28Speaker 1: Tratcheria in Gulfport and good family owned. It feels like
- 12:33Speaker 1: you're in Tuscany and the pasta's insane and it's not
- 12:35Speaker 1: like over priced. It's a more chill vibe than Annelliot
- 12:39Speaker 1: astor Ilver Torno, those who are great. Timpano and Hyde
- 12:42Speaker 1: Park has pretty good pasta.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Okay, I do Like I always thought maybe Timpano would
- 12:45Speaker 3: be considered one of those uppity transplant places that people
- 12:48Speaker 3: would roll their eyes at.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I've gone, and I thought the pasta was really good.
- 12:54Speaker 1: And then a Grazzi Italian girl here in Saint Pete.
- 12:57Speaker 1: That one's like old school Italian, which I love that
- 13:00Speaker 1: like mobster vibe, Like I feel like I'm at the
- 13:02Speaker 1: Sopranos and about to meet the mobster boss and eat
- 13:05Speaker 1: pasta with him. So Grazzi is a really good one.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And then Donna Tello's in Tampa.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Donna Tello's, yes, okay, so girl, we need to get
- 13:12Speaker 3: you what neighborhood is in Donatello's. Is it ebor Ibor
- 13:16Speaker 3: it's around there.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not great with Tampa geography, but
- 13:20Speaker 1: Donna Tello's is one for sure. So anyways, Elliott Astor
- 13:24Speaker 1: was the type that I would say, well, walking in,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I came in this beautiful dress, so I was like,
- 13:28Speaker 1: this is a special occasion place. But there is a
- 13:29Speaker 1: lounge area at the front that you don't need to
- 13:31Speaker 1: have a reservation. Oh and you can just roll up
- 13:33Speaker 1: and sit and order the full menu. So there's that
- 13:36Speaker 1: and everyone was telling me order.
- 13:37Speaker 3: The facasha bread, order the fakasha, like it's bread? How
- 13:39Speaker 3: good can this bread?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Literally my thought when you were telling you guys were
- 13:42Speaker 2: going in the studio about this bread, I'm like, y'all,
- 13:44Speaker 2: I could literally go to public right now up in
- 13:46Speaker 2: Aisle eight and get myself wonderbread.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I love me some wonder bread.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Give you bread and a little bit of butter. I'm
- 13:51Speaker 4: a happy guy.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I'm fine. But no, no, my god, there's something they
- 13:56Speaker 1: sprinkle crack on it or something, because it's literally like
- 14:00Speaker 1: you cannot stop eating it and it's bread.
- 14:02Speaker 3: So I'm like, no, I don't want to get full
- 14:03Speaker 3: off read. Insane, insane.
- 14:05Speaker 1: The caesar salad was amazing, and I'm usually like very
- 14:08Speaker 1: picky about a caesar. It had a vinaigrette which was interesting,
- 14:11Speaker 1: not like a creamy caesar dressing. And then I ordered
- 14:14Speaker 1: the beef cheek tortelli, which was the best thing I've
- 14:17Speaker 1: ever pucked in my mouth.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Really, but that's it.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I felt like I was on drugs when I put
- 14:22Speaker 1: it in my mouth. I got goosebumps, I got like
- 14:26Speaker 1: I got th h o titty hard on. Yeah, it
- 14:29Speaker 1: was that that kind of food. Where you just put
- 14:30Speaker 1: it in your mouth and it's like, oh my god.
- 14:32Speaker 1: It was in a butter sauce. It was a stuffed
- 14:35Speaker 1: pasta with beef cheek. Oh my god, just simple. That's
- 14:38Speaker 1: I love that kind of pasta when it's just like
- 14:39Speaker 1: three ingredients, but it's rich and you can taste the freshness.
- 14:43Speaker 4: And that's what that was.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And then Mike got the squid ink, which was good.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It wasn't as stellar. Definitely go for the beef cheek.
- 14:50Speaker 1: And then our boss Jenna suggested ordering the vodka sauce pasta,
- 14:54Speaker 1: like all right, don't get glad.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I mean the martini looked crazy.
- 14:57Speaker 1: They brought it out in like a little caraffe and
- 14:59Speaker 1: a like ice bowl. Oh I love that. Yes, it's
- 15:02Speaker 1: a whole moment, which I loved from start to finish.
- 15:05Speaker 1: The experience is a moment. And then they have a
- 15:06Speaker 1: little vintage mold of the Vanoi. You can go outside
- 15:10Speaker 1: and get like a little wax mold of the Vanoi
- 15:12Speaker 1: right in front of the restaurant in this old timey machine.
- 15:14Speaker 1: And our servers were so kind they went and got
- 15:16Speaker 1: it for us and brought it back and gave us
- 15:18Speaker 1: a little surprise anniversary dessert. So what was the dessert.
- 15:22Speaker 1: It was a semifreddo, which I learned that night is
- 15:25Speaker 1: half cake. It's like a cake ice cream ball, So
- 15:28Speaker 1: semi means half means it's like half baked. So it
- 15:31Speaker 1: was like a cake ball but like funfetti half ice cream,
- 15:35Speaker 1: half cake, and then the best web cream you've ever had.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, it was unreal and it wasn't that
- 15:39Speaker 1: crazy expensive. Like when we got the check, we were like, Okay,
- 15:42Speaker 1: this is comparable to a lot of restaurants in Tampa
- 15:45Speaker 1: Bay that I wouldn't put at the level of Elliott
- 15:47Speaker 1: astor would you.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Put it on like the level of Burns. Okay, So
- 15:50Speaker 3: that kind of.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Experience, which also like Burns, is expensive. But I've gone
- 15:55Speaker 2: there on like a date night, and I'm like, okay,
- 15:58Speaker 2: not like I'm gonna have to go and work at
- 16:00Speaker 2: extra shifts expensive.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, it's like a one hundred, one
- 16:03Speaker 3: hundred and fifty dollars a person tight meal. Yeah, if
- 16:05Speaker 3: you're doing it right.
- 16:06Speaker 2: It's like maybe the steak is like sixty each, which
- 16:08Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, that's expensive.
- 16:10Speaker 4: I'm expecting to pay that much.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And I know there's some places that are
- 16:12Speaker 2: just ridiculous, where it's like, Okay, yes, the stake's gonna
- 16:14Speaker 2: bee hundred and sixty dollars.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I want the atmosphere to be everything, like the way
- 16:18Speaker 2: it looked on your Instagram for Elliott Aster, Like I
- 16:20Speaker 2: was like.
- 16:20Speaker 3: That's it, right by the pier. I have my real
- 16:22Speaker 3: ready to go.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And there's also a bar at the back, the one
- 16:25Speaker 1: that I like posted I'll share later, but you don't
- 16:28Speaker 1: need a reservation for the back bar, and you could
- 16:30Speaker 1: just go sit first, come, first serve. And it overlooks
- 16:32Speaker 1: the marina. You see the yachts. It's really really special
- 16:36Speaker 1: for sure. So we should go for a group special.
- 16:39Speaker 3: We should make it a business exclusion.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Yes, a business meeting out there at the Venoi.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Do they do brunch on Wednesdays?
- 16:47Speaker 1: They do, They do weekend brunch, and they said it's
- 16:49Speaker 1: really fun. And then we went earlier. We went at
- 16:51Speaker 1: five pm. That's how like Sish citizen they are. I
- 16:54Speaker 1: love an early day, especially when you're gonna go eat
- 16:56Speaker 1: a lot, Like I want to be able to go
- 16:58Speaker 1: lay on the couch and like, you know, just feel
- 17:01Speaker 1: it and go to sleep early. So we went at
- 17:04Speaker 1: five and it was beautiful. But they said at night,
- 17:06Speaker 1: the lighting like really is optimized because of all the
- 17:08Speaker 1: chandeliers and everything.
- 17:09Speaker 3: So maybe we go get a martini at the bar
- 17:12Speaker 3: in the evening.
- 17:12Speaker 1: That would be fun.
- 17:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I love a martini experience me too. I was so
- 17:16Speaker 1: mad because I ordered champagne. I'm usually a champagneu but
- 17:18Speaker 1: when I saw the martini come out, I was.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Like, dang, you didn't order one after That's see I
- 17:21Speaker 2: would have like I don't sometimes I'm not brigging the drinking,
- 17:24Speaker 2: but if it's a nice place and I'm like, give
- 17:26Speaker 2: me the nice.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Drink, I know, I thought about it, but I'm a
- 17:28Speaker 1: champagne girl. Nice champagne makes me happier than anything.
- 17:31Speaker 2: It was actual champagne that yes, like bougie, but like
- 17:33Speaker 2: I do actually want to know.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Because not prosecco. Yeah it was not prosecco.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Love a prosecco, don't get me wrong, but like, if
- 17:39Speaker 2: they're gonna have champagne, we'll let me get a go.
- 17:41Speaker 3: What's your favorite champagne? Ooh, I love? I mean what's
- 17:45Speaker 3: your go to like drinkable champagne. Like obviously a bougie
- 17:48Speaker 3: one would be like.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Like a Shandan or a Moette, and there's because there's
- 17:52Speaker 1: Shandon and then there's Moette. So I had Moette at
- 17:55Speaker 1: Elliott Astor. But I'll drink a prossecco day to day.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I mean, but if I can get a nice blanc
- 17:59Speaker 1: to blanc loss of champagne, Juno and Peacock Llo they
- 18:03Speaker 1: always have like really good options.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, Allo might be one of my favorite meal experiences
- 18:08Speaker 3: in Tampa. Yeah, like that apparol sprits. So Scotty took
- 18:10Speaker 3: me there when my mom was in town. It was
- 18:12Speaker 3: one of the best apparaol sprits I've ever had, and
- 18:14Speaker 3: the food was really good. Have you been to Juno
- 18:16Speaker 3: in the Peacock I have not been to get write down.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Yeah, that place freaking rocks.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Their chefs are world renown, like they have a great lineup,
- 18:23Speaker 2: and again that's one of those places the environment matters.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Like when we went there, went there for brunch and
- 18:28Speaker 2: it was sitting right there on Beach Drive so you're
- 18:29Speaker 2: looking at the pier, you got the fresh air around
- 18:32Speaker 2: you and the food was incredible.
- 18:33Speaker 4: But yeah, they're what do.
- 18:34Speaker 2: We do the champagne, the bubbles and they bring out
- 18:38Speaker 2: the juices that are infused, So the juices are infused too,
- 18:41Speaker 2: so you're making yourself these nice little mimosas that have
- 18:43Speaker 2: the fresh juice but also had a little extra.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Alcohol in there.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Oh it's down. That was worth every single dollar. It
- 18:50Speaker 2: was not cheap, but it was worth it. We should
- 18:52Speaker 2: reach out.
- 18:52Speaker 1: To them for Juno in the Peacock or Allo, one
- 18:54Speaker 1: of them both, like a magic meal or something that
- 18:57Speaker 1: would be fun.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Well, are you going to the Tampa thing in two weeks,
- 19:01Speaker 3: the Tampa Bay Rays thing at the Drop? Yes, like
- 19:04Speaker 3: that we're all doing yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, because that's
- 19:06Speaker 3: my birthday. So I want to go get brunch and get.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Like a little like day dunk.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm on board. Sign me up.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Do you want to do it?
- 19:13Speaker 2: We gotta see if you want to do it on
- 19:14Speaker 2: beach drive like a Lailo or like June on the Peacock.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I want to go somewhere where I can get a
- 19:18Speaker 3: fun drink and an interesting meat.
- 19:22Speaker 1: What day of the week is it.
- 19:24Speaker 3: It's a Wednesday, so what would be open on Wednesday?
- 19:27Speaker 1: It's the twenty second? No, correct, Oh yeah, because four
- 19:30Speaker 1: twenty is Monday.
- 19:31Speaker 3: She's like, I had that one marked that was that
- 19:33Speaker 3: was on the calendar. Okay, oh my god, it's gonna
- 19:35Speaker 3: be so fine.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, Wednesday, so it's obviously an evening game.
- 19:41Speaker 4: No, it's a one pm.
- 19:42Speaker 1: It's a wait. I'm so confused by this schedule. It's
- 19:46Speaker 1: like brunch on Wednesday. What are we doing? Okay, so
- 19:47Speaker 1: we want to go eat before this game?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, so like after the show, we'll go get brunch
- 19:51Speaker 2: at like eleven eleven to one, like getting a little mimosa,
- 19:53Speaker 2: some snacks.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Okay, so we'll go into the game Perry's Porch. They
- 19:57Speaker 1: won't have brunch, but that would be a cute one.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I do like p and his porch. Perry's Porch could
- 20:01Speaker 1: be cute. We could go to like Trip's Diner. We
- 20:03Speaker 1: go to like one of the diners around here and
- 20:05Speaker 1: make it a that's my gym.
- 20:07Speaker 4: I don't know if that's Abby's right.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Trip's Diner.
- 20:09Speaker 1: It's a classic. Like and I live walking distance and
- 20:13Speaker 1: I've never been. My husband goes a lot.
- 20:15Speaker 3: It's packed every time I try to go line out
- 20:18Speaker 3: the door.
- 20:19Speaker 4: That's because it's famous. And let's get the crab omelet.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I want to make a reel about it so badly.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I mean we would go.
- 20:26Speaker 3: That's kind of cam.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Do they have champagne that I don't know because I
- 20:29Speaker 1: always get coffee. I'll bring a bottle. It's right next
- 20:31Speaker 1: to my house. We can go pregame at my house.
- 20:33Speaker 3: That's actually that actually be great because I'm like, where
- 20:35Speaker 3: am I going to part?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:36Speaker 3: And then Mike can drive us.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, she's getting I'm working right now. I'm
- 20:41Speaker 2: just gonna find out on the podcast.
- 20:42Speaker 4: You are from home.
- 20:43Speaker 1: That's okay, that's true, and it is right down the streets.
- 20:45Speaker 1: It's literally right out, like we're so close. We could
- 20:48Speaker 1: also go to the Moxie obviously, I mean that's true.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Do you have mimosas at Trip Diner?
- 20:52Speaker 1: Oh oh, this could be fun.
- 20:54Speaker 3: They have mimosas and then red wine, white wine, Miller Lite,
- 20:58Speaker 3: and yingling. This could be really fun. They also have
- 21:02Speaker 3: meat and seafood. This is horrifying.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I know.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I'm id wait in trips you could trust, I will say,
- 21:07Speaker 2: like that is a place they could always trust.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Their food is always good.
- 21:09Speaker 1: See.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I love a diner where you go in and the
- 21:11Speaker 2: waitresses are just like family, where they're just like come here,
- 21:14Speaker 2: me too, oh.
- 21:15Speaker 3: You know where else we could go? Scotti saw one
- 21:18Speaker 3: porn and immediately got a diner fetish, like, what, well,
- 21:24Speaker 3: you need to go to Frog's Pond.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I their servers are My husband's parents come every time
- 21:31Speaker 1: they visit. Frog Pond is a must. Just to see Fiona,
- 21:33Speaker 1: the Scottish server. I'm telling you, she's the sweetest.
- 21:36Speaker 2: See that's my jam. Like growing up, every single Sunday,
- 21:39Speaker 2: that's what we would do. My dad, my brother and
- 21:40Speaker 2: I would go to a diner. So you usually loved
- 21:43Speaker 2: them when the waitresses were older and had a little
- 21:44Speaker 2: bit of a raspy voice.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Yeah, like you know they just smoked cigarettes.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yes, like they literally just smoked. And they're carrying your
- 21:49Speaker 2: food to your table.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I love them.
- 21:51Speaker 3: They're using your plate as an ashtrays.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Okay, two brunch spots that I think could be a
- 21:55Speaker 1: little more like young and dynamic eat art. Love is
- 21:58Speaker 1: really cool. It's right next for It's where we got
- 22:00Speaker 1: picked up from the bus. Okay, in that little shopping center.
- 22:03Speaker 1: But he's chef Mario Brignali. He's like a young, hip
- 22:06Speaker 1: chef and the food is insane and they have mimosas.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It's more of a foody experience, eat Art the Art
- 22:11Speaker 1: Love Saint Pete. And then Taylor Sam's Brunch.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Oh, I've been to Taylor Sam's.
- 22:15Speaker 1: It's very it's like the college brunch spot, but they
- 22:17Speaker 1: have like really cool stuff.
- 22:18Speaker 3: So I think those two all right, that was it?
- 22:20Speaker 3: Oh my god, is this a raclut?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:23Speaker 3: And he has like the most he does brunch like
- 22:25Speaker 3: during the week.
- 22:26Speaker 2: So see, that's what you need because a Wednesday's tough,
- 22:28Speaker 2: Like what at Wednesday is going to be open at
- 22:30Speaker 2: eleven for a brunch? And I'm amosa eat Art Love
- 22:33Speaker 2: that sounds all. I've never been there. If that chef's
- 22:35Speaker 2: cool and hip and kind of trendy, does he wear
- 22:37Speaker 2: like cool clothes, because that makes the whole.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Time He's an amazing person. We should like bring him
- 22:40Speaker 3: on some time.
- 22:41Speaker 1: He's I've worked with him for a few events and
- 22:44Speaker 1: have been and he just always takes care of his
- 22:46Speaker 1: people and is really creative. I'm sure you've seen him
- 22:48Speaker 1: on social probably.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I mean I love seeing like and now that you
- 22:51Speaker 2: get to like meet some of the chefs and get
- 22:52Speaker 2: to know like they're so artsy and like kind of
- 22:54Speaker 2: out there and I want Yeah, that's like willing to
- 22:57Speaker 2: risk it all.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Yeah, dish like ris get for the biscuits literally, strawberry
- 23:00Speaker 1: crunch pancakes, oh girls, duck and grits. The post egg
- 23:05Speaker 1: dip is one of the best things I've ever had.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It's literally just like a poached egg with like breadsticks.
- 23:09Speaker 4: How far is that?
- 23:10Speaker 2: Okay, so here's what you got it, Like, unless Mike
- 23:12Speaker 2: drives us, which I'm not going to volunteer your husband
- 23:14Speaker 2: to drive us.
- 23:15Speaker 4: How far is it from the trap?
- 23:17Speaker 1: That's not far either. That's in like the Warehouse Arts District. Okay,
- 23:21Speaker 1: Florida Rama. Okay, so technically we could walk. It might
- 23:25Speaker 1: be a little hot.
- 23:25Speaker 2: We could also thoughts on the scooter experience because this
- 23:29Speaker 2: just hear me out.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Can we get a dui for that though?
- 23:32Speaker 2: The car, well, unless somebody hears this that owns a
- 23:35Speaker 2: golf cart company, I don't know if we're gonna get
- 23:37Speaker 2: a golf cart.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 2: The only problem with the scooters though, is like, the
- 23:39Speaker 2: last thing I would want is like one of us
- 23:41Speaker 2: to eat shit as we're literally.
- 23:42Speaker 1: On the golf cart.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, going to the game and it's like hits bump,
- 23:45Speaker 2: Abby goes down, Birthday ruined.
- 23:48Speaker 1: That's my brain goes, how far a walk is it
- 23:50Speaker 1: if it's in the warehouse? Yeah no, well okay, we
- 23:53Speaker 1: can always use my house as a base somehow and
- 23:57Speaker 1: figure it out.
- 23:58Speaker 4: We also have this amazing thing called it. We could
- 24:00Speaker 4: also do that.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeah so actually so true.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I mean, you know, just throwing it out there, we
- 24:04Speaker 2: definitely could. I think a golf cart would be more fun.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:06Speaker 3: No, I want to get one for my I was
- 24:08Speaker 3: trying to get one for his birthday.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But it's going to work out your quiz birthday.
- 24:11Speaker 4: I have to have a golf cart hookup.
- 24:13Speaker 3: I know.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I pitched one company, but they didn't respond, so we
- 24:16Speaker 1: keep trying. There has to be We just we share
- 24:18Speaker 1: one car because he works from home so much. He
- 24:20Speaker 1: like Mike, is always home and I'm not ever home,
- 24:23Speaker 1: So it makes sense that we just he got rid
- 24:25Speaker 1: of his he had a big ass pickup truck and
- 24:27Speaker 1: he's like, I missed my forward. Well, you know, we
- 24:30Speaker 1: have one car payment. Now.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Did he get you any gifts on their anniversary? Like,
- 24:34Speaker 2: was there anything wrapped up anything?
- 24:36Speaker 1: He got me flowers and then it was like the
- 24:38Speaker 1: anniversary of leather, So some leather straps and whips like
- 24:44Speaker 1: whips and chains.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm like, I respect that. I gave you the salute.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and never we never circled back to your review
- 24:52Speaker 3: of fifty sheetes of Gray.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I mean, I freaking loved it. I loved every bit
- 24:56Speaker 4: of it.
- 24:56Speaker 3: What did you like about it?
- 24:57Speaker 2: Actually, let me take a step back. First off, the
- 24:59Speaker 2: first movie so far has been the best, because after
- 25:01Speaker 2: that I.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Felt like they just kind of gave up.
- 25:03Speaker 2: They started putting in different plots about people trying to
- 25:05Speaker 2: get killed.
- 25:06Speaker 3: The plots were the best movies. I read the books.
- 25:08Speaker 3: I haven't seen the movies.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I think my brain was more good.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Okay, I probably would have enjoyed the books if it
- 25:12Speaker 2: would have been more like this sounds interesting but more descriptive.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I found it very fascinating now that as an adult,
- 25:18Speaker 2: I'm like, Oh, look at this whole world of the
- 25:22Speaker 2: intimate moments of people.
- 25:25Speaker 4: I didn't even know that some of these things.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Exist BBSM and you know it's Twilight fan fiction.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I did not know that.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Yeah, somebody wrote it about Twilight wanting to make it
- 25:33Speaker 3: more adult on AO three or watt powd or one
- 25:35Speaker 3: of those fan fiction sites.
- 25:36Speaker 4: That's how it all started.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Yes, So it's twice. If you look at it deeper,
- 25:40Speaker 3: you're like, oh, yeah, it's in the Pacific Northwest.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I mean that does make so much sense. Yeah, the mood,
- 25:44Speaker 1: the tone, yep, it's like a mousey brunette.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yep.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Well, I think the first one so far was the best.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I learned a lot from you know, just you know,
- 25:54Speaker 2: how to set a scene.
- 25:56Speaker 4: That's what I wanted to know. That's what I was
- 25:57Speaker 4: going in my intention.
- 25:59Speaker 3: So what did you learn about setting a seat? No?
- 26:01Speaker 4: Making sure that?
- 26:02Speaker 2: Okay, to make it simple is really being intentional about
- 26:05Speaker 2: my my movements, my touch, my look, the way I
- 26:09Speaker 2: carry myself.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Because again, usually guys are.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Like six five minutes done and it's like no, no, no, no, no.
- 26:18Speaker 3: That's a great impression.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Yet, well in that movie was like and I already
- 26:23Speaker 1: knew this, but to really make.
- 26:25Speaker 3: It a moment, yeah, in five minutes is generous.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I mean women are were so much more mental and
- 26:31Speaker 1: emotional and it requires that part of it to really
- 26:35Speaker 1: loosen things up, if you get what I'm saying. Whereas
- 26:37Speaker 1: a man, it's like, all right, let's go, let's train
- 26:39Speaker 1: the main vein.
- 26:40Speaker 4: That's crazy though.
- 26:41Speaker 2: It's like we hear that and like I remember hearing
- 26:43Speaker 2: that I'm not gonna say growing up, but as a
- 26:45Speaker 2: younger adult, and I'd be like, okay, so like, what
- 26:47Speaker 2: an extra ten minutes?
- 26:49Speaker 3: He's like, let's set a timer.
- 26:51Speaker 4: No, let's get to it.
- 26:52Speaker 2: But now again, and I think I said this maybe
- 26:55Speaker 2: off the air, but I was like, now I get
- 26:57Speaker 2: it because now I also enjoy that side of it.
- 26:59Speaker 2: It's like the build up, the letting these moments kind
- 27:02Speaker 2: of live, even if it's like something else set them,
- 27:04Speaker 2: like the mood at five pm, it doesn't you don't
- 27:07Speaker 2: even get to payoff until like ten. Yeah, I just
- 27:09Speaker 2: I said that your poor girlfriend.
- 27:11Speaker 4: No, I'm not talking about not doing it that long.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Wow, Okay, I.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Thought, because you also watched the Nicky Glazer on Call
- 27:19Speaker 3: Her Daddy, I thought Nicky Glazer put it perfectly where
- 27:22Speaker 3: he She's like, okay, and this is again really aggross,
- 27:24Speaker 3: abregate in so much trouble for we just had to
- 27:26Speaker 3: talk about how we need to stop being really well.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Then let me put a warn in here.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Maybe maybe if your speakers are blasting and there are
- 27:34Speaker 2: young kids around, this might be the you.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Haven't out by now?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:37Speaker 3: Right, Nicky Glazer put it perfectly. She's like, if your
- 27:42Speaker 3: girl isn't begging you to proceed, then it's then.
- 27:49Speaker 1: It's a no. Well yeah, or what she said, like
- 27:51Speaker 1: rub on my jeans a little bit longer, bring back
- 27:53Speaker 1: dry up. Yeah, Like let's like, let's extend the four
- 27:57Speaker 1: play and the foreplay begins at the dinner table, like
- 28:00Speaker 1: that's what I mean at Elliott ast her when we're
- 28:02Speaker 1: deciding what pasta we're going to order, because then I'm
- 28:04Speaker 1: thinking about how your breath is gonna smell after you
- 28:06Speaker 1: eat that. You know it really for women, at least
- 28:09Speaker 1: for me, it starts real early on, and it's like, Okay,
- 28:11Speaker 1: the men have to invest a little bit more in
- 28:13Speaker 1: the four play aspect of it. For sure.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I love hearing that because like again now it makes sense.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Now I'm like, ah, got it, Okay, so tonight, okay
- 28:21Speaker 2: that boom.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Even the post play like cuddle and watch TV with
- 28:24Speaker 1: me a post game, don't just leave, yeah, don't just
- 28:28Speaker 1: up and leave postgame on, I should take a walk
- 28:31Speaker 1: or something, smoke a cigarette, sleep immediately, no, cook me
- 28:35Speaker 1: like a little dessert or something like. Actually, it's a
- 28:38Speaker 1: whole experience.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah, this is in this podcast has been very informative.
- 28:44Speaker 3: She was like, why do I even watch fifty Shades
- 28:45Speaker 3: of Gray?
- 28:46Speaker 1: I could have just this is exhausting. The only reason
- 28:48Speaker 1: I'm this keen is because it was my anniversary week.
- 28:50Speaker 2: So well, I'm glad it's voice, and I'm glad that again,
- 28:53Speaker 2: more women are even sharing it because for so long,
- 28:55Speaker 2: it's just like, you know, I don't just lay there frustrated,
- 28:59Speaker 2: and not all men could take that, not all men
- 29:02Speaker 2: could just be open to hearing it, because again, it
- 29:04Speaker 2: doesn't compute for a long time.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I also don't think up until I mean
- 29:08Speaker 3: the somewhat recent history is I don't think women even
- 29:11Speaker 3: really knew what to ask for. Like I don't think
- 29:14Speaker 3: it comes as naturally for women as it does for men,
- 29:17Speaker 3: like knowing about your sexuality. And I always like, because
- 29:22Speaker 3: I love period dramas, I'm like, that's so crazy, Like
- 29:24Speaker 3: if I had been born three hundred years ago, what
- 29:26Speaker 3: I have even known that an orgasm exists for women?
- 29:28Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? Like it's crazy, it's
- 29:31Speaker 1: so true, Like how did women not like at Wuthering Heights,
- 29:34Speaker 1: Like thinking about all of that and that time period
- 29:37Speaker 1: and how sexually charged it was It's like, imagine how
- 29:40Speaker 1: the feelings must have been under all those corsets and
- 29:43Speaker 1: skirts and dresses, not knowing how to navigate it. I
- 29:46Speaker 1: could see Abby in a period drama.
- 29:48Speaker 3: They could, I do. I don't have iPhone face. I
- 29:50Speaker 3: will say, what does that mean? You know when people say,
- 29:52Speaker 3: like when somebody gets casted in a period drama, like
- 29:54Speaker 3: Margot Robbie has iPhone face, where she doesn't look like
- 29:58Speaker 3: she could have lived in the seventeen hundreds. Oh, I
- 30:01Speaker 3: see what you're saying. You know what I mean? Like
- 30:03Speaker 3: some people just look too modern. Yeah, yeah, like el
- 30:07Speaker 3: Fanning does not have iPhone face. Okay, yeah, I could
- 30:10Speaker 3: see that, you know what I mean? Like Sidney Sweeney
- 30:11Speaker 3: has iPhone Sydney Sweeney has iPhone face. Yeah, now she does, yes,
- 30:16Speaker 3: and that's not like it's not also not derogatory, like
- 30:18Speaker 3: Mark Robbi's beautiful, Sidney Sweeney's beautiful. Yeah yeah, did you
- 30:21Speaker 3: see anything about the euphoria red carpet? Oh my god,
- 30:24Speaker 3: Zendeia completely just skirting out of the so freaking good
- 30:28Speaker 3: though she It's insane that a person can.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Look like that.
- 30:31Speaker 3: I know, I wish like that haircut. No one could
- 30:34Speaker 3: ever rock that haircut and just her arms.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm like, drop the arm routine, the jawline, everything and
- 30:39Speaker 1: just seeing the Alexa Demi and Sidney Sweeney kind of.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Okay, what did Alexa dem get done to her face?
- 30:44Speaker 1: She definitely got oz empic fact, she got glp ones
- 30:47Speaker 1: and lost a significant amount of weight, and I think
- 30:49Speaker 1: went I really think it's as simple as that. Did
- 30:52Speaker 1: that less makeup filler? Or maybe she got Google I
- 30:55Speaker 1: did read comments about Google fat, but I really do
- 30:57Speaker 1: think that was just from the weight loss, because she
- 30:59Speaker 1: did like she was a lot more around in the
- 31:01Speaker 1: face in the first season.
- 31:02Speaker 3: She looks so, I mean, she looks amazing. I think
- 31:03Speaker 3: she looks great. I'm literally like, whatever, whatever country she
- 31:06Speaker 3: flew to, Turkey.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Mexico, I'll go, We'll book it together. Let's go.
- 31:13Speaker 2: So I think we actually have a surprise at the
- 31:15Speaker 2: door right now. I think this is a cool moment
- 31:18Speaker 2: because we're on the podcast. This is a surprise. Oh
- 31:21Speaker 2: my god, we wanted to celebrate. So if yes, we.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Are popping bottles, Wow, you got look at this.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I mean it might as well be a birthday because
- 31:34Speaker 2: we got a lot to celebrate. So do you want
- 31:37Speaker 2: me to explain what's happening right now. So, actually, Abby,
- 31:40Speaker 2: this is all about you. This is all about you.
- 31:45Speaker 2: So over the past couple months, what has been so
- 31:48Speaker 2: fun is as the show has grown and people have
- 31:50Speaker 2: gotten to know the show even more and getting to
- 31:51Speaker 2: know you, Abby. We obviously haven't been able to release
- 31:55Speaker 2: all of this information yet, but your name is officially
- 31:59Speaker 2: a part of the show. Oh it is Magic Mornings
- 32:03Speaker 2: with Scottie and Abby. So we officially raise a glass
- 32:09Speaker 2: to you in this new chapter of Magic ninety four nine.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Yes, Jeuss love this family.
- 32:19Speaker 3: That's sweet. Thanks guys.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Sweet.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Absolutely, this is welcome boss Jenna to the stage to
- 32:26Speaker 3: the stat the second Jenna.

- 32:32Speaker 3: I mean whatever, it's on the pod.
- 32:35Speaker 4: This is on the pod.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I just have to skip past all the bds.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Yeah. Podcast, A big old turn.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so many turns please do.
- 32:46Speaker 5: First of all, this is the highest debut of a
- 32:50Speaker 5: morning show in CMG Tampa history with you here.
- 32:57Speaker 3: And by the way, you.
- 32:58Speaker 5: All were number one Women fifty four.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Let's go Women, eighteen forty nine.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Let's go Women eighteen thirty four with all double digit shares,
- 33:10Speaker 5: which is unheard of with your target demo and by
- 33:14Speaker 5: the way, I think this is probably pretty historic as
- 33:16Speaker 5: far as you being. From the very beginning, we've seen
- 33:20Speaker 5: a lot of women not have their name in equal
- 33:24Speaker 5: share on morning show logos, in morning show branding.
- 33:29Speaker 1: You earned it, thanks Gras.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Congraduations. Yeah number one, you got.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Well, let's raise a glass to Abby and the future
- 33:43Speaker 4: success of the station.

- 34:06Speaker 2: we got to raise their glasses again and have some
- 34:08Speaker 2: more Shampain
