Powerball Climbs to 35 Million! This is The Lottery Rundown for Sunday August 16th Powerball drew Saturday night with 5, 8, 27, 29 and 63, plus Powerball 13 and a 2X multiplier. No ticket matched all six, so the freshly reset jackpot made it through its first drawing without a winner. Among the white balls, 27 is tied for the third-most drawn over the last six years, with 78 appearances. It has practically worn a groove in the ball rack. Meanwhile, 29 returned after 11 drawings away. Did you miss it? Monday’s jackpot rises to 35 million dollars, with a cash value of 15.2 million dollars. The run is only one drawing and three days old, far too early to call it unusual. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Friday, August 14, with 3, 23, 27, 46 and 60, plus Mega Ball 11. No ticket captured the jackpot. White ball 3 remains tied for fourth-most drawn over the last six years, even after staying away for 23 drawings, while 27 returned after 29 drawings off. Tuesday’s jackpot reaches 100 million dollars, with a cash value of 42.8 million dollars. That could buy a small castle and stock its moat entirely with rubber ducks. At five drawings and 17 days, this jackpot run remains young, so the nine-figure milestone is the story, not a marathon wait.
