- 0:02Speaker 1: Um quarry with me here, you know, BT, it's just
- 0:05Speaker 1: so low shout oct no color what we see, whole
- 0:08Speaker 1: game du bathing. You can't stand on it. I'm Susie.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I already know he came ball with me because you
- 0:13Speaker 1: have up with the squad of me. They getting they
- 0:16Speaker 1: called him men. Y'all watched the game. Everybody watched the game.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Some people don't watch this the game, So what would
- 0:28Speaker 1: y'all takes on this? Like as far as the game
- 0:30Speaker 1: goes like players. One time for baby Face Rade because
- 0:34Speaker 1: me and him have been texting and he was like,
- 0:36Speaker 1: how did you want bet? Right? He was about to
- 0:37Speaker 1: bet on the Eagles. Ye, my brother, they did good.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Did you watch they did? They did really, they did
- 0:43Speaker 1: a really good job. But I'm always gonna go with
- 0:45Speaker 1: experience because that's a tough stage to be on. Man,
- 0:48Speaker 1: you know what, I really wanted it for Jalen Hurts
- 0:50Speaker 1: only because as a fan of the sport. I remember
- 0:54Speaker 1: in the U g A Alabama game, they took him
- 0:56Speaker 1: out in the first half, replaced him with two Tellvertoga
- 0:59Speaker 1: or whatever, and then he had to transfer. He went
- 1:01Speaker 1: to Oklahoma State, Oklahoma. Just when he went to Oklahoma
- 1:05Speaker 1: and he kind of had an uphill battle from there.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Like then his first year at Philadelphia Eagles, they tried him.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Last year he had a decent season, and this year
- 1:13Speaker 1: he had the breakout season. We saw the m v
- 1:17Speaker 1: P versus the MVP runner up. That was the m
- 1:20Speaker 1: v P because uh, my homeboy, Uh he won a
- 1:23Speaker 1: m VP and the runner up was Jenla Hurts. So
- 1:25Speaker 1: I really wanted him to win. I wanted his story
- 1:27Speaker 1: to be that. But but they just still looks good
- 1:30Speaker 1: on his resume. Ators, Yeah, he still want to win,
- 1:32Speaker 1: that chick and he's still he's still young man. So
- 1:34Speaker 1: so he got plenty of time. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:36Speaker 1: If you if you that guy, you're gonna make your
- 1:38Speaker 1: way back to the stage. Because nobody thought Kansas, the
- 1:41Speaker 1: Kansas Chiefs was gonna go back to the Super Bowl
- 1:43Speaker 1: because they lost Tyreek Hill. They were losing a little
- 1:46Speaker 1: bit and beginning to see they were having a struggle.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Was like a weird season for them. And you know,
- 1:51Speaker 1: Patrick Mahone was battling injuries and stuff like that, and
- 1:54Speaker 1: you know he got hurt. Ye right at the end
- 1:57Speaker 1: of the second quarter. Going into halftime, he looked who
- 2:00Speaker 1: possibly better boy, what what type of what was he
- 2:04Speaker 1: on when he came back? Was he on something? And
- 2:06Speaker 1: you know that that was a good tap. Man. They
- 2:09Speaker 1: took a good te They told him come back in,
- 2:11Speaker 1: come get this shot, like the courts On shot. Get
- 2:15Speaker 1: this shot because because look, I was watching the game
- 2:19Speaker 1: and then everybody was like I was watching the game,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and everybody was like, Oh, it's over, it's over. He's
- 2:28Speaker 1: not coming back. I said, man, if you think they
- 2:31Speaker 1: about to let this boy sit down there in a
- 2:34Speaker 1: Super Bowl over Andrey, I said, they're about to give
- 2:36Speaker 1: him something that's going And then you noticed they didn't
- 2:38Speaker 1: think he was gonna be able to scramble, and boy,
- 2:41Speaker 1: he started running out that pod. I said. When I
- 2:43Speaker 1: gave that good ship, I kept saying in my head,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I said, I don't know. I don't feel secure. When
- 2:49Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts fumbled and then Kansas City picked up the
- 2:52Speaker 1: ball and scored, I said that might be the score
- 2:54Speaker 1: change difference right there. That bothered me. I was like, damn,
- 2:58Speaker 1: that was just so easy. It was just so easy.
- 3:01Speaker 1: So when they turned it around and made that touchdown
- 3:03Speaker 1: to h to make it thirty eight, where was your feeling? Uh?
- 3:06Speaker 1: So it was thirty five thirty five, and it was
- 3:08Speaker 1: a holding call on the cornerback. Um, and when they
- 3:14Speaker 1: watched it back, he grabbed them twice. But it wasn't
- 3:17Speaker 1: like a gravy graph. Man, you slowing down the momentum.
- 3:22Speaker 1: He said, he didn't think they was. He didn't think
- 3:24Speaker 1: that they was gonna call that. But it's like, listen,
- 3:27Speaker 1: go play all games. But if he didn't, if he
- 3:29Speaker 1: didn't last two, play, let him play. Listen. If you
- 3:33Speaker 1: can't guard him, didn't didn't let that be know you
- 3:36Speaker 1: over here grabbing the guard anybody, But that would have
- 3:39Speaker 1: been a touchdown if he would have never been grabbed.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I still think he was overthrown, which I believe he
- 3:43Speaker 1: shouldn't have. It was just it just and so then
- 3:46Speaker 1: Kansas City ran down the clock and then hit that
- 3:48Speaker 1: field goal, and then uh Eagles only had six seconds seven.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I knew they was gonna do that because when the
- 3:55Speaker 1: game started it was it was four minutes when I
- 3:57Speaker 1: think it was four minutes and thirty seconds when um,
- 3:59Speaker 1: the Chiefs got the ball back, and I said, man,
- 4:03Speaker 1: the damn clock. That was too much time for them
- 4:06Speaker 1: to for them to orchestrate and burn that clock. But
- 4:10Speaker 1: you know, you know what I understand. I did not
- 4:12Speaker 1: understand why the Eagles burnt the time out when I
- 4:16Speaker 1: believe it was like a minute because there was about
- 4:18Speaker 1: to get another five yard Uh false? Uh what was
- 4:22Speaker 1: the delayed game? No, I'm talking about when they were
- 4:24Speaker 1: on defense, they burned the time out, and I said,
- 4:27Speaker 1: why would you burn the time out? I would have
- 4:29Speaker 1: let them scored and tried to have some type of
- 4:33Speaker 1: you know, cushion with the time out to get the
- 4:35Speaker 1: ball back. I just didn't understand that. Yeah, well, they
- 4:39Speaker 1: lost the Eagles, and I really wanted them to win.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I was, yeah, I was rooting for Jayleen Eagles, but um,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you know, women were watching for that, but they were
- 4:49Speaker 1: mostly watching for Rihanna. So what do you guys think
- 4:51Speaker 1: about the half time? Okay, so okay, hold on, before
- 4:54Speaker 1: you started, let me say I lost the bed. She
- 4:56Speaker 1: didn't bring out anybody, so we were both wrong. But
- 4:59Speaker 1: I did say that stop him, and I did. I
- 5:04Speaker 1: was going up. I did try to go to Target
- 5:06Speaker 1: to find the roof Chris gift card, but they didn't
- 5:07Speaker 1: have him. So I have to go to Sam's. But
- 5:09Speaker 1: you will get your gift. Carks. Don't play bout the bit. Okay,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I am part of the navy. I am one of
- 5:14Speaker 1: the biggest Rihanna fans ever. She's from my home island,
- 5:17Speaker 1: which is Barbados. Half of my family's from Barbados. Um,
- 5:20Speaker 1: so they are so big on her, and so as
- 5:23Speaker 1: I growing up from when she was signing. You know,
- 5:25Speaker 1: she was signed it as a kid. She was like anyway,
- 5:30Speaker 1: um when she started performing, she was moving a little slow.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I said, damn, she's very fatigued. I'm moving here like
- 5:37Speaker 1: there's only one way a woman is fatigued like that.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And I got a fatigued woman in my house. She's
- 5:43Speaker 1: just lost a half a step. One of the why
- 5:45Speaker 1: she's with child. I kept saying, damn, I don't see
- 5:47Speaker 1: no belly. But then I said, oh, I said, Tunisia,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I say, Rihanna pregnant. She started arguing with me in
- 5:54Speaker 1: the kitchen. She said, baby, she just had a baby
- 5:56Speaker 1: last year. That's that little. Some people don't lose a
- 5:59Speaker 1: little tummy the little So I said, you know what,
- 6:01Speaker 1: You're right. I don't want to be dispectful. I still
- 6:03Speaker 1: tweeted it already, but I was like, damn, it's Rihanna.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And the question my question mark is she questioned my
- 6:08Speaker 1: question mark. But I just was like when it first
- 6:10Speaker 1: came out, she reb her belly. Oh, it was like
- 6:14Speaker 1: when she first that's all. I'm over here like, damn
- 6:18Speaker 1: she she eating real good or or you know she's
- 6:22Speaker 1: taking the time because she said in interviews, wein't gonna
- 6:24Speaker 1: get no music. You don't know why because she's like
- 6:26Speaker 1: being a mom. Okay, So I'm over here like damn, okay,
- 6:30Speaker 1: Rocky is shooting the club up. I mean I thought,
- 6:36Speaker 1: first of all, I thought she looked amazing. I thought
- 6:39Speaker 1: she looked really good. Um, you wouldn't need paying attention
- 6:42Speaker 1: to nothing else. I mean, she was high. Did you
- 6:46Speaker 1: see how high? Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. I couldn't
- 6:48Speaker 1: perform at at those heights or host at those She
- 6:51Speaker 1: had no sickness from that. I don't know she had
- 6:53Speaker 1: a hardness though, But I think she did really good. Um,
- 6:56Speaker 1: I think that better than Beyonce's. But man, we ain't
- 6:59Speaker 1: talking about fiance. And I'm a Rihanna fan. I'm saying
- 7:03Speaker 1: Rihana better Beyance. Let's just put up. Perce is a performer.
- 7:09Speaker 1: She Rihanna. We we've seen Rihanna was pregnant. Obviously she
- 7:12Speaker 1: was fatigued. There wasn't a bunch of moving, but she
- 7:15Speaker 1: didn't miss to be with the with the choreography, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 1: I thought she did. I thought she did a really
- 7:20Speaker 1: good job. I thought the music selection was was great,
- 7:25Speaker 1: the transition of music, and I mean, I thought she
- 7:28Speaker 1: did a good job. But you know, I think she
- 7:29Speaker 1: did a good job. I posted that. Okay, what are
- 7:35Speaker 1: your opinions about how to Rihanna doing her performance on
- 7:39Speaker 1: half time? No, I'm gonna crass on that one. I
- 7:44Speaker 1: think it was the dancer show. And if I was
- 7:46Speaker 1: the dancers, I would say, Hey, that was me up there.
- 7:48Speaker 1: So I can get some more gigs because Rihanna is
- 7:50Speaker 1: not touring, She's not having no new album for a while.
- 7:54Speaker 1: She just been a chill back and collect her coins
- 7:57Speaker 1: and her makeup because y'all see the makeup and she's
- 8:01Speaker 1: doing all so much. She's a businesswoman, she's a mom.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I think she's just transitioning like it well deserved. And
- 8:07Speaker 1: so speaking to super Bowl, let's move on to commercials.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Did you guys have a favorite commercial? To be? Commercial?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Made me think I was about to go in on Tunisia.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I was in the kitchen and I kept saying, I said, bad,
- 8:18Speaker 1: what are you doing? She was like, I'm not doing thathing,
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm not doing nothing. I was like, what's that on
- 8:22Speaker 1: the TV? And it was the to be commercial? Did
- 8:24Speaker 1: you guys see that? Yeah? I thought my I thought
- 8:26Speaker 1: my remote was possessed because I was looking at my
- 8:28Speaker 1: remote and then I've seen you know, the to be
- 8:31Speaker 1: commercials and I'm looking at my remote. I'm like, great job,
- 8:35Speaker 1: So what's going on to be a great job? You
- 8:37Speaker 1: got me. I really enjoyed the McDonald's commercial. Off said
- 8:41Speaker 1: that Cardi b and that was good one. And man,
- 8:44Speaker 1: whoever made that that that that commercial about Tesla? That
- 8:49Speaker 1: was o d Did you see the world that you
- 8:52Speaker 1: didnt see that? They had a kid crossing the street.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It was like, don't trust Tesla and the Tesla runs
- 8:57Speaker 1: over the kid. I was like, hey, yo, I like
- 9:01Speaker 1: the commercial with the with the woman uh with the
- 9:04Speaker 1: flag football you remember when everybody was trying to like
- 9:08Speaker 1: steal her flag. And then she went home to her
- 9:11Speaker 1: mom and she was like, oh my god, Mom, you
- 9:12Speaker 1: won't believe what's going on is I've just been having
- 9:15Speaker 1: a crazy day. And her mom was like, looking at
- 9:17Speaker 1: the flags and she was like trying to get She
- 9:19Speaker 1: was like, Mom, what are you doing it? Yeah? I
- 9:20Speaker 1: like that. It was a bunch of selections that I
- 9:23Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know. Okay, cool, yeah man. Super
- 9:26Speaker 1: Bowl definitely was a big thing, and you know a
- 9:29Speaker 1: lot of them Philly fans didn't take that. That lost
- 9:32Speaker 1: Well did you see the guy who broke the TV
- 9:34Speaker 1: here comedia? But why did he have to do all that?
- 9:38Speaker 1: They're always aggressive Philly fans is like a very first
- 9:42Speaker 1: of all, Philly the town. You got to really be
- 9:44Speaker 1: on point with that in that town the seventies, six years,
- 9:48Speaker 1: the I think it's Villanova, the college and uh and
- 9:52Speaker 1: of course the the Eagles. They will let you know
- 9:55Speaker 1: how they feel. Yeah man, speaking of other Yeah yeah,
- 9:59Speaker 1: that's that's a comedian. But it was that fake or real?
- 10:02Speaker 1: That's fake? It's funny, might hear YouTuber? Yeah? Okay, that
- 10:07Speaker 1: was that was a nice ass TV was the I
- 10:09Speaker 1: hope the TV was already broke, raised no money on
- 10:12Speaker 1: no TV like that. One might have a deal, you
- 10:14Speaker 1: never know what these YouTubers. He might have a deal
- 10:16Speaker 1: with the TV company back other people who wasn't too
- 10:20Speaker 1: proud about the score was Lebron James questionable. Call it
- 10:23Speaker 1: damn Yeah, they didn't call. They didn't call went Um
- 10:27Speaker 1: when he fumbled when he got hit with that his stick.
- 10:30Speaker 1: That wasn't the fun. That was a phone. You have
- 10:32Speaker 1: to make two athletic moves and he did not make any.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It was it was it was scripted. That was in
- 10:38Speaker 1: the script Donald Trump. Now Donald Trump made Oh my god,
- 10:44Speaker 1: who the hell do you think you are to to
- 10:46Speaker 1: talk about Rihanna? You know, it's been some it's been
- 10:49Speaker 1: some lackluster super Bowl halftime shows before. And I don't
- 10:55Speaker 1: even know them who performed to even tell you who
- 10:58Speaker 1: they were. How about that? Well, how about why do
- 11:02Speaker 1: you care? Right you're about to he was once the
- 11:06Speaker 1: president of the United States, you're about to run again.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Why do you care? If you're Donald Trump? Why do
- 11:11Speaker 1: you care about a halftime performance that literally last and
- 11:15Speaker 1: saying that was the word he said, that was the
- 11:17Speaker 1: worst halftime performance of He was just It just sounds
- 11:20Speaker 1: like he was just And I said cod that black,
- 11:23Speaker 1: he said something about he said he said something about
- 11:26Speaker 1: uncle Trump and Tom Well, Trump got him out of jail. Yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 1: Trump got a Trump got him out of jail. So
- 11:32Speaker 1: he loyal, got him out of prison, prison, prison, so
- 11:36Speaker 1: he's loyal. He'd probably still be in jail for wisdom Trump. Well,
- 11:39Speaker 1: Chris Brown said, go girl. And somebody actually asked Chris
- 11:43Speaker 1: Brown would he ever perform and he was like, never
- 11:45Speaker 1: shot in America media at for me, rather be where
- 11:48Speaker 1: I'm welcomed. Yeah. I think I think Chris Brown is
- 11:50Speaker 1: definitely Um. I think he gets hated on a lot
- 11:55Speaker 1: um when it comes to the media, and I think,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know, a lot of his talent gets under minded
- 12:00Speaker 1: on you know. I just I just feel like the
- 12:02Speaker 1: same thing that that Chris Brown goes through is the
- 12:05Speaker 1: same thing that a lot of great entertainers went through
- 12:08Speaker 1: when they were alive. And I just wish that, you know,
- 12:11Speaker 1: we appreciate it, you know, his talent and you know
- 12:15Speaker 1: a lot of talented people in the industry more because
- 12:18Speaker 1: you know, of course, he has a past, which everybody
- 12:20Speaker 1: else has a past. But I don't understand, you know
- 12:23Speaker 1: why when I feel like, when black entertainers have a past,
- 12:27Speaker 1: we gotta keep talking about their past the rest of
- 12:30Speaker 1: their career. You get other entertainers who has done way
- 12:34Speaker 1: worse things, and the media never talks about it. Yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 1: I think, uh, people like Chris Brown, Michael Vick, um,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you know, the past was so so much affected there,
- 12:46Speaker 1: uh their current at that particular time status and uh
- 12:51Speaker 1: the uproar, and of course rightfully so at the particular time.
- 12:55Speaker 1: But I feel like they paid that their their debt
- 12:57Speaker 1: to society, and um. One thing I think that we
- 13:01Speaker 1: all should be is empathetic to people who are trying
- 13:05Speaker 1: to change. And I feel like Chris Brown has changed.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I do feel like, uh, Michael Vick has changed. Not
- 13:10Speaker 1: to bring him out with Michael Vick, that's one of
- 13:12Speaker 1: my big favorite football players ever, but I just feel
- 13:14Speaker 1: like to the the level of what happened, and they
- 13:17Speaker 1: just never let go of that ship. And I don't
- 13:18Speaker 1: know why they just never let go because you see
- 13:21Speaker 1: all you see the other industry, you know with these
- 13:24Speaker 1: uh you know actors, these white actors, they have done
- 13:27Speaker 1: a lot of things publicly, and you know, they don't
- 13:30Speaker 1: get crucified for the rest of their career, you know
- 13:33Speaker 1: what I mean. And it's like all if you really,
- 13:36Speaker 1: if you really realize, man, all of our great artists
- 13:39Speaker 1: that we had here at one point in time, they
- 13:42Speaker 1: always got crucified. You look at somebody like Michael Jackson.
- 13:46Speaker 1: He got crucified his whole career until he passed away.
- 13:49Speaker 1: So I feel like we should start appreciating talent. You know,
- 13:54Speaker 1: even when Chris Brown, when they pulled his his performance,
- 13:57Speaker 1: It's like, man like, how much more can this man
- 14:00Speaker 1: go through in his career? Speaking of career slip ups,
- 14:05Speaker 1: Cam Thomas says he was only being playful when he
- 14:08Speaker 1: said the word no homo in an interview. I am
- 14:12Speaker 1: a little upset about that because I'm I'm a context person, right,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm over. I'm always like, Okay, well, why did this
- 14:19Speaker 1: person say something? Why did this? Why did this play
- 14:22Speaker 1: out that way? How setting the whole nine? And I
- 14:26Speaker 1: don't think that that was warranted a forty dollar fine.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Maybe a conversation, uh okay, maybe uh an apology, but
- 14:36Speaker 1: not a forty thousand dollar fine for something that I've
- 14:39Speaker 1: never seen someone get fineble or before saying no homo.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And that's a hot fine man. It's like, you know
- 14:47Speaker 1: the world is so sensitive, nous next is Paul is
- 14:50Speaker 1: gonna be next? But yeah, I think if he should
- 14:53Speaker 1: have said pause, this is what I don't understand. I
- 14:55Speaker 1: don't understand you get these athletes that are controlled by
- 15:00Speaker 1: corporate America. These guys coming fresh the hood, coming fresh
- 15:04Speaker 1: out the hood, millionaires, right, These guys don't have pr training.
- 15:09Speaker 1: These guys, you know, um aren't aren't educated on the
- 15:13Speaker 1: level of things to saying not to say on the camera.
- 15:16Speaker 1: You have certain people like Lebron and stuff like that,
- 15:19Speaker 1: but it's like, man, this guy is young. He he
- 15:21Speaker 1: don't know what he could say and what not to say.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And then to get fine. You know, forty dollars is
- 15:26Speaker 1: like if you're gonna find that man, forty dollars, finding
- 15:29Speaker 1: forty dollars and put that towards it goes back to
- 15:34Speaker 1: the NBA. It doesn't. It doesn't go to charity or
- 15:37Speaker 1: anything like that. That could just be a teachable moment
- 15:39Speaker 1: to not use that word anymore. But how did we
- 15:42Speaker 1: know not to use the word anymore? But people when
- 15:44Speaker 1: people still use a lot of different words that aren't
- 15:48Speaker 1: punishable because there's no uproar. You know, when black people
- 15:53Speaker 1: are disrespected, and that's the only thing that I have
- 15:57Speaker 1: a problem with. It's like, man, it's like black you
- 16:00Speaker 1: get disrespected so much and we don't have the same
- 16:02Speaker 1: respect as other cultures. Like look at these coaches who
- 16:05Speaker 1: get caught on tape, you know, talking about black players
- 16:08Speaker 1: in a disrespectful way, and guess what they get. They
- 16:11Speaker 1: get a chance to sell their NBA team and make
- 16:14Speaker 1: billions of dollars. And I don't know why people get
- 16:16Speaker 1: so excited when they're like the Cowboys, Uh yeah, but
- 16:20Speaker 1: that's a little different, you know, because that was just
- 16:23Speaker 1: a picture. But you get somebody like you know, the
- 16:25Speaker 1: Phoenix Suns, the Clippers, you know, when these guys were
- 16:28Speaker 1: doing racist remarks, and everybody is so excited, like, yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 1: they get to sell their team, and I'm like, they're
- 16:34Speaker 1: selling their team for billions of dollars, so day life
- 16:37Speaker 1: is gonna be good the rest of their life. And
- 16:39Speaker 1: then you gotta understand they're still, uh in sports, there's
- 16:43Speaker 1: still the minorities don't own nothing. We just get the
- 16:48Speaker 1: let's just get to play the sports. Now. I'm grateful for,
- 16:51Speaker 1: you know, these guys being able to play a sport
- 16:53Speaker 1: that they love and they're changing their family lives. But
- 16:55Speaker 1: it's like the Phoenix Sun, they just got sold to
- 17:00Speaker 1: a guy that's like forty three years old, and it
- 17:03Speaker 1: was I want to say, Michael Jordan's the only black
- 17:06Speaker 1: majority owner in the NBA. Of course we have Usher
- 17:10Speaker 1: and uh Nellie, but they're very, very small. But Michael
- 17:15Speaker 1: Jordan's the the only black majority owner. You don't have
- 17:20Speaker 1: any black you know, how many black owners own NFL teams. Zero?
- 17:24Speaker 1: But I do think that one athlete that can do
- 17:27Speaker 1: it will be Lebron. I think I think can get
- 17:31Speaker 1: the possibility to do it on the NBA level. Um,
- 17:35Speaker 1: I don't know anyone who can do it on the
- 17:37Speaker 1: NFL up. I believe they called the Washington Rangers. Now
- 17:40Speaker 1: it's the Washington Commanders. So with the Washington Commanders, um,
- 17:46Speaker 1: their team is out for sale, and I believe Jay
- 17:49Speaker 1: z Um has put his bid into it, right with
- 17:54Speaker 1: own a team. Yeah, you put in a bid for
- 17:56Speaker 1: the Carolina team, Carolina Panthers. But I mean that you know,
- 18:01Speaker 1: that whole industry is kind of like a fraternity, you
- 18:04Speaker 1: know what I mean, They're not really yeah, I mean
- 18:07Speaker 1: they're just not power. Yeah, they're not gonna let people
- 18:09Speaker 1: in that they feel like it'sn't part of the fraternity.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And that's just that's just what we continue to see.
- 18:15Speaker 1: But like you said, if anybody can on a on
- 18:17Speaker 1: a NBA team, I definitely think it's Lebron. I feel
- 18:20Speaker 1: like we're the wrong next of that I believe could
- 18:22Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, color well, I hope that changes one day. Um,
- 18:28Speaker 1: but I'm not wonderful wishful thinking. We'll be back with
- 18:32Speaker 1: more of the ball Alert Show right after this. We'll
- 18:34Speaker 1: be right back with more of the Baller Alert Show.
- 18:43Speaker 1: It's love versus money on the ball or Alert Show today,
- 18:48Speaker 1: all love versus money. You let me know if they're
- 18:50Speaker 1: there for the love and money, and right now it's
- 18:52Speaker 1: I don't know if they're together or their parties. A
- 18:54Speaker 1: lot of you know, things going on and there's a
- 18:56Speaker 1: third party, but y'all let me know. We got Hallie
- 18:59Speaker 1: Bailey and d d G. D d G. I believe
- 19:02Speaker 1: that d d G is there for the love. I
- 19:04Speaker 1: believe that Holly Bailey is there for the love. But
- 19:08Speaker 1: they just young, and I think they're they're gonna break up. Damn.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I think they're gonna break up because, uh, you know,
- 19:15Speaker 1: when you're young, you have to go through things, and
- 19:19Speaker 1: I feel like they're going through things. And they had
- 19:21Speaker 1: a break up and it looks like allegedly he slid
- 19:25Speaker 1: back in Ruby Roses d M S. I don't know
- 19:28Speaker 1: he said that they were fabricated. But if this is authentic,
- 19:32Speaker 1: and he did, I don't know if Holly Bailey is
- 19:35Speaker 1: going to stay with him. So I feel like they're
- 19:37Speaker 1: going to break up. I do believe that they're I
- 19:39Speaker 1: don't know. It looks real. It looks real. You say
- 19:45Speaker 1: it's real. It looks really, it looks real. It's things
- 19:48Speaker 1: could be fabricated on social media. It could be a player.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. All I know is, damn, bro,
- 19:55Speaker 1: you got you a nice one. Bro, go ahead. What
- 19:57Speaker 1: what do you do isn let him? Let him fumble it? Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: let him fumble it. You know you want that toxic
- 20:06Speaker 1: thing back. I know you do. I think that's what's
- 20:08Speaker 1: going on. This is too good over here. You want
- 20:11Speaker 1: some toxics love. That's what I think you want. Damn.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I think both is there for the for the love.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I mean we can you know, we could clearly see it,
- 20:20Speaker 1: you know, with them at the Red Carpets and them
- 20:23Speaker 1: on social media they all ruby I mean with Haley
- 20:27Speaker 1: Bailey said it was the devil trying to creep in. Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 1: I mean I may because listen, man, Ruby Rod got there.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Only fan that that back be arched up and stuff
- 20:35Speaker 1: like that. Man, you know what I'm saying, Hey, the
- 20:36Speaker 1: internet is a is a dangerous world, you know what
- 20:39Speaker 1: I'm saying, especially for for men who are in relationships
- 20:42Speaker 1: and you're seeing all that stuff, and especially him. You know,
- 20:46Speaker 1: I believe they got it too. Their first argument, what
- 20:49Speaker 1: you know, kind of what the dm uh said, and
- 20:52Speaker 1: you know she said, hey, man, uh, it's crazy eyes
- 20:54Speaker 1: god getting you'all live for? Are not spend the block black? Yeah?
- 20:58Speaker 1: Because listen, man, I ain't about to give up. No, no,
- 21:02Speaker 1: Mega Disney started about to. But I think I think
- 21:07Speaker 1: bar Salmon, damn, damn. I don't think he's known for music.
- 21:15Speaker 1: And he's known for being a YouTuber. Yeah, yeah, he was. Yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: he's known for being a YouTuber. His music is decent, though,
- 21:21Speaker 1: like he got good music. You said decent. Wait wait wait,
- 21:26Speaker 1: wait for some of his sing You said music is decent,
- 21:30Speaker 1: decent and good. Okay, his music is good. Okay, I
- 21:34Speaker 1: like his music three songs. I can't, but I do.
- 21:42Speaker 1: But I didn't say I was a fan. I just
- 21:43Speaker 1: said I like his music music. I would have to
- 21:47Speaker 1: be a fan to name. No, you don't know, so
- 21:50Speaker 1: you're saying He's not even a I thought he was
- 21:52Speaker 1: a rapper or something. He's he's a YouTuber first, and
- 21:57Speaker 1: he just started doing music a couple of years ago. Good.
- 22:00Speaker 1: He had that song song out with Gonna, which is
- 22:03Speaker 1: really good, and he went on tour with Kevin Gates.
- 22:05Speaker 1: But I mean, in that situation, man, listen, I think
- 22:08Speaker 1: that he that was a conversation that him and his
- 22:11Speaker 1: girl had in private, because he said, listen, already talked
- 22:13Speaker 1: to Shady about you know what I'm saying, old girl,
- 22:17Speaker 1: you feel me. It's handled like how you really supposed
- 22:19Speaker 1: to do it. Some it's before it comes out and
- 22:21Speaker 1: talk to you lady and say, hey man, you know
- 22:23Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So back and forth on Twitter was
- 22:26Speaker 1: very h I would never go back and forth on
- 22:29Speaker 1: social media with any of my ext No, I ain't
- 22:32Speaker 1: doing it. If I got this, if I got my
- 22:35Speaker 1: girl at my trophy, I ain't going back and forth
- 22:38Speaker 1: with no chick on social media anyone. Hey man, I
- 22:41Speaker 1: didn't even She said he was trying to defend himself.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I feel like he was trying to defend himself. But sometimes,
- 22:47Speaker 1: you know, being too defensive, you know, can cause a
- 22:51Speaker 1: lot of speculations. So it's like if you just if
- 22:54Speaker 1: he just said nothing, we wouldn't even be talking about
- 22:58Speaker 1: once said nothing. We'll be right back with more of
- 23:02Speaker 1: the Baller Alert show message. It is now time for
- 23:11Speaker 1: baller mail. Dear ball Alert. I believe I lost my
- 23:16Speaker 1: man and I want him back. My man and I
- 23:20Speaker 1: broke up last week for something extremely stupid. I hate
- 23:22Speaker 1: the fact that he wears white underwear. Here's the thing.
- 23:25Speaker 1: When I watched the clothes usually on Saturday mornings, I
- 23:27Speaker 1: am watching a week's worth of white, dirty underwear and
- 23:31Speaker 1: I see everything. We got into our argument and I
- 23:34Speaker 1: brought up how dirty his drawers are and I'm tired
- 23:36Speaker 1: of watching them. He stormed out and we haven't spoken
- 23:39Speaker 1: over a week. I feel terrible about what I said. However,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I still meant what I said. We are engaged, but
- 23:45Speaker 1: I don't think he wants to be with me anymore.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It may sound stupid, but I've never seen him react
- 23:50Speaker 1: this way off of something I said. What do you
- 23:52Speaker 1: guys think? Well? I think that, first of all, his
- 23:55Speaker 1: ego is bruised and that's why he left. And say,
- 24:00Speaker 1: get involved, man, Why are you wearing white underwear if
- 24:04Speaker 1: your ass not clean? It sounds like The Breakfast Club
- 24:07Speaker 1: was on there and he was saying that men shouldn't
- 24:10Speaker 1: wear a white underwear to hide the dookie stains. First,
- 24:14Speaker 1: wipe your bottom, wash your ass first, over and over.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Then don't wear no white jaws. Do you wear white underwear?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Ray J says, you shouldn't you wear because the do
- 24:24Speaker 1: do stains will be all over your white underwear and
- 24:26Speaker 1: it's disrespectful to the woman that's cleaning your underwear or
- 24:29Speaker 1: the man or the man that's right. Man, listen, if
- 24:32Speaker 1: your ass ain't clean, ain't ain't no reason why you
- 24:35Speaker 1: should be wearing some white underwear. No, no, I just
- 24:41Speaker 1: I just I just I just feel like even if
- 24:44Speaker 1: I had a whit I don't even wear white T
- 24:46Speaker 1: shirts because it's like, bro, you can it's just easy
- 24:49Speaker 1: to get dirty. I just I'm just not telling nobody
- 24:52Speaker 1: to see your dirt. What So that's why that's why
- 24:55Speaker 1: ray J was saying, Um, you shouldn't wear white because
- 24:58Speaker 1: it's easily you can see this. Man. List now, if
- 25:00Speaker 1: you're grown, you should know how to wipe in wash
- 25:03Speaker 1: your behind. That's that's the way I feel. I'm not
- 25:05Speaker 1: a fan of, you know, all white attire. Or anything
- 25:09Speaker 1: like that. But hey, man, you better switch the black
- 25:13Speaker 1: or something, because they ain't no way in hell a
- 25:16Speaker 1: grown ass man. Whereas white underwear five days a week
- 25:19Speaker 1: and you washing loads of white underwear, this is what
- 25:23Speaker 1: you need to do. You go ahead and go to
- 25:25Speaker 1: T J Max Marshals or whatever. Get that man colored underwear. Okay.
- 25:30Speaker 1: And I don't know why he wearing white and his
- 25:33Speaker 1: ass is like that. That's some personal hygiene issues. And yes,
- 25:36Speaker 1: O C. T. We shouldn't be wearing white unless you
- 25:39Speaker 1: know how to take care of your hygiene. So if
- 25:41Speaker 1: he's gonna continue to wear the white, get his ass
- 25:44Speaker 1: some wet wipes and tell his ass after you take
- 25:47Speaker 1: a number two, wipe your ass properly because you're tired
- 25:50Speaker 1: of doing it. And I wouldn't even got there and
- 25:52Speaker 1: wash his clothes no more. If he's gonna have some
- 25:54Speaker 1: dirt ass draws and that in that little laundry back,
- 25:57Speaker 1: that's like some little kids ship. That's like some young
- 26:00Speaker 1: man ship. Yeah, I feel like they said they're engaged.
- 26:03Speaker 1: So if you can't even have a conversation about this
- 26:06Speaker 1: without him blowing up, there needs to be supreme, especially
- 26:10Speaker 1: about hygiene. Man, get your feelings hurt about hygiene. You
- 26:14Speaker 1: need some premarital counseling, you know, in learning how to
- 26:18Speaker 1: communicate with one another without, like you said, hurting each
- 26:20Speaker 1: other's feelings. He definitely needs to watch some tutorials on
- 26:25Speaker 1: hygiene for men, and you know, get something like you said,
- 26:28Speaker 1: what wipes and all that stuff, because if you don't
- 26:30Speaker 1: like it, he just need to throw his draws away
- 26:32Speaker 1: every time, or watch your own draws if you if
- 26:35Speaker 1: you got them them skirts, skirtch you need to wash
- 26:38Speaker 1: your own clothes, man, because that is embarrassing. And I
- 26:42Speaker 1: know why he left because his feelings got hurt. He
- 26:45Speaker 1: was embarrassed. But at the end of the day, if
- 26:48Speaker 1: you guys are engaged, you gotta learn how to communicate
- 26:51Speaker 1: on a proper level. And she frustrated because she gotta
- 26:54Speaker 1: keep watching them skirts skirts. You know what I'm saying,
- 26:59Speaker 1: Leaky over the screaky, screaky. Come on, man, it's like,
- 27:04Speaker 1: get it together, come back. That sound too old to
- 27:06Speaker 1: be talking about hygiene and wh wiping yourself. You should
- 27:11Speaker 1: have learned that at a younger age. But okay, alrighty, well,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I think it's time for a pet talk today. We're
- 27:16Speaker 1: gonna you know, keep it. At the Super Bowl, we
- 27:20Speaker 1: had for the first time in black history, to black
- 27:23Speaker 1: quarterbacks going head to head. Anybody want to shed some
- 27:26Speaker 1: light on that situation. I think it was dope to see.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I am so looking forward to how our culture continues
- 27:35Speaker 1: to push forward and hopefully this will be just normal
- 27:38Speaker 1: that we don't have to highlight it. But you know,
- 27:41Speaker 1: it was dope to see it. And I was like,
- 27:43Speaker 1: I saw Patrick my Home Senior. He he I can
- 27:46Speaker 1: see that he his dad's black, obviously, but he lit
- 27:52Speaker 1: like Hatch my Home Senior is lit. I gotta look
- 27:55Speaker 1: him up, reminds, but don't. I just hope that our
- 27:58Speaker 1: culture continues to shape the NFL and NBA and all
- 28:03Speaker 1: types of sports and just love us being highlighted. Dd
- 28:06Speaker 1: g uh, it's not DM people, I think bro stop.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I think it was really dope um to have, you know,
- 28:16Speaker 1: two black quarterbacks a blessed of stage um like the
- 28:20Speaker 1: Super Bowl. Like Ferrari said, I hope this is something
- 28:22Speaker 1: that becomes normal because I remember a couple of years
- 28:26Speaker 1: ago that when the NFL started changing, when there was
- 28:29Speaker 1: more mobile quarterbacks, they you know, they were trying to say, well,
- 28:34Speaker 1: if you can't throw in the pocket. You're not a
- 28:36Speaker 1: real quarterback. Correct And now look at it, now, look
- 28:39Speaker 1: at it all. You know what ten years ago, it
- 28:42Speaker 1: was damn there no black quarterbacks, you know what I mean?
- 28:45Speaker 1: So a pocket pastor yea, they were making black athletes
- 28:48Speaker 1: who were quarterbacks changed their position. Randall l and all
- 28:52Speaker 1: these other Gulf and so. So I think it's really
- 28:55Speaker 1: dope how we're seeing the shift of the NFL to where,
- 28:58Speaker 1: you know, we're saying more black quarterbacks because the industry
- 29:02Speaker 1: is changing the more you know of out of pocket
- 29:04Speaker 1: passers and stuff like that. So, you know, I think
- 29:07Speaker 1: it was I think it was really dope. And um,
- 29:09Speaker 1: you know, especially Black History Month was like man, it's like, damn,
- 29:12Speaker 1: we're getting rep we getting two brothers. Ris Berman said
- 29:14Speaker 1: it was Abraham Lincoln's birthday last night. I didn't like that.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I did not like that. I did not like that.
- 29:20Speaker 1: He said. Yeah, he was saying, there's two black quarterbacks
- 29:24Speaker 1: together facing off. And he was like an oddly so
- 29:27Speaker 1: Abraham Lincol's birthday. You know, he was signing the place
- 29:31Speaker 1: for confirmation to free slaves. Anyway, some people are just cools.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I can't get enough of Baller Alert, Follow us on
- 29:40Speaker 1: all social media platforms at baller Alert, going to baller
