• 1:28
  Well,
• 1:28
  today
• 1:28
  I
• 1:28
  wanted
• 1:29
  to
• 1:29
  jump
• 1:29
  in
• 1:30
  and
• 1:30
  talk
• 1:30
  about
• 1:31
  this
• 1:31
  new
• 1:32
  report
• 1:32
  that
• 1:32
  I
• 1:32
  just
• 1:33
  saw
• 1:33
  come
• 1:33
  out.
• 1:33
  This
• 1:34
  is
• 1:34
  a
• 1:34
  great
• 1:34
  midweek
• 1:35
  special,
• 1:36
  midweek
• 1:36
  update
• 1:37
  kind
• 1:37
  of
• 1:37
  topic
• 1:38
  here.
• 1:39
  This
• 1:39
  came
• 1:39
  from
• 1:40
  Synchrony,
• 1:41
  a
• 1:41
  leading
• 1:42
  consumer
• 1:42
  financing
• 1:43
  company.
• 1:43
  They
• 1:44
  did
• 1:44
  a
• 1:44
  new
• 1:45
  national
• 1:45
  study
• 1:45
  called
• 1:46
  Lifetime
• 1:47
  of
• 1:47
  Home
• 1:48
  Care.
• 1:48
  This
• 1:49
  is
• 1:49
  interesting,
• 1:49
  guys.
• 1:50
  Hope
• 1:50
  everybody's
• 1:51
  doing
• 1:51
  well
• 1:51
  out
• 1:51
  there.
• 1:53
  So
• 1:53
  they
• 1:53
  went
• 1:53
  out
• 1:53
  and
• 1:53
  did
• 1:54
  a
• 1:54
  study
• 1:54
  to
• 1:54
  see
• 1:55
  what
• 1:55
  is
• 1:55
  the
• 1:55
  expectation
• 1:56
  of
• 1:56
  homeowners
• 1:58
  on
• 1:58
  lifetime
• 1:58
  home
• 1:59
  maintenance
• 1:59
  costs.
• 2:00
  Homeowners
• 2:01
  expect
• 2:01
  to
• 2:01
  spend
• 2:02
  about
• 2:02
  $70,000
• 2:04
  on
• 2:04
  lifetime
• 2:05
  home
• 2:05
  maintenance
• 2:05
  costs.
• 2:06
  Wrong.
• 2:08
  The
• 2:08
  actual
• 2:08
  costs
• 2:09
  exceed
• 2:09
  $339,000
• 2:12
  or
• 2:13
  more
• 2:13
  than
• 2:14
  $7,000
• 2:15
  per
• 2:16
  year
• 2:16
  on
• 2:16
  average.
• 2:18
  And
• 2:18
  nearly
• 2:18
  half
• 2:18
  of
• 2:18
  homeowners
• 2:19
  have
• 2:19
  delayed
• 2:19
  or
• 2:19
  canceled
• 2:20
  repairs
• 2:20
  due
• 2:20
  to
• 2:20
  economic
• 2:21
  pressure
• 2:22
  driving
• 2:22
  higher
• 2:22
  long
• 2:23
  term
• 2:23
  costs.
• 2:24
  And
• 2:25
  seven
• 2:25
  out
• 2:26
  of
• 2:26
  10
• 2:26
  homeowners
• 2:26
  lack
• 2:27
  adequate
• 2:27
  repair
• 2:27
  services
• 2:28
  for
• 2:28
  inevitable
• 2:29
  emergency
• 2:30
  repairs.
• 2:31
  So
• 2:32
  this
• 2:32
  really
• 2:32
  kind
• 2:33
  of
• 2:33
  tells
• 2:33
  us
• 2:34
  that
• 2:34
  we
• 2:34
  have
• 2:35
  a
• 2:35
  huge
• 2:35
  gap
• 2:36
  out
• 2:36
  there
• 2:37
  of
• 2:37
  what
• 2:37
  people
• 2:38
  think
• 2:38
  it's
• 2:38
  going
• 2:39
  to
• 2:39
  cost
• 2:39
  to
• 2:39
  maintain
• 2:40
  things
• 2:41
  and
• 2:41
  what
• 2:41
  it's
• 2:41
  not.
• 2:42
  And
• 2:43
  so
• 2:43
  pretty
• 2:43
  interesting.
• 2:44
  You
• 2:44
  know,
• 2:44
  we've
• 2:44
  got
• 2:44
  new
• 2:45
  homeowners
• 2:45
  coming
• 2:45
  in
• 2:45
  that
• 2:46
  have
• 2:46
  less
• 2:47
  skills
• 2:47
  than
• 2:47
  we
• 2:47
  saw
• 2:48
  20
• 2:48
  or
• 2:48
  30
• 2:49
  years
• 2:49
  ago
• 2:49
  on
• 2:49
  average
• 2:49
  because,
• 2:50
  well,
• 2:51
  we
• 2:51
  took
• 2:51
  out
• 2:52
  most
• 2:52
  of
• 2:52
  the
• 2:52
  home
• 2:52
  shop
• 2:53
  repair
• 2:53
  classes
• 2:54
  that
• 2:54
  we
• 2:54
  took
• 2:54
  in
• 2:55
  school,
• 2:55
  the
• 2:56
  wood
• 2:56
  shop,
• 2:57
  the
• 2:57
  mechanical
• 2:58
  stuff.
• 2:58
  So
• 2:59
  many
• 2:59
  schools
• 2:59
  put
• 2:59
  in
• 3:00
  computer
• 3:00
  labs
• 3:00
  in
• 3:00
  those
• 3:00
  same
• 3:01
  spaces.
• 3:02
  And
• 3:02
  now
• 3:02
  we
• 3:02
  have
• 3:02
  people
• 3:03
  that
• 3:03
  have
• 3:03
  to
• 3:03
  pay
• 3:04
  stuff
• 3:04
  to
• 3:04
  get
• 3:04
  it
• 3:05
  fixed
• 3:05
  versus
• 3:06
  repairing
• 3:07
  it
• 3:07
  themselves
• 3:07
  as
• 3:08
  a
• 3:08
  DIY
• 3:08
  project.
• 3:09
  So
• 3:10
  it's
• 3:10
  interesting.
• 3:12
  So
• 3:13
  despite
• 3:13
  recent
• 3:14
  softening,
• 3:14
  the
• 3:15
  US
• 3:15
  repair
• 3:15
  and
• 3:15
  remodeling
• 3:16
  market
• 3:16
  remains
• 3:17
  nearly
• 3:17
  50%
• 3:18
  above
• 3:18
  pre
• 3:18
  pandemic
• 3:19
  levels,
• 3:20
  says
• 3:20
  Topping
• 3:21
  about
• 3:21
  $600
• 3:22
  billion.
• 3:23
  Well,
• 3:24
  it's
• 3:24
  really
• 3:24
  interesting.
• 3:25
  That
• 3:26
  shows
• 3:26
  us
• 3:26
  kind
• 3:26
  of
• 3:26
  there's
• 3:27
  a
• 3:27
  financial
• 3:27
  burden
• 3:28
  with
• 3:28
  this
• 3:28
  as
• 3:28
  well,
• 3:29
  which
• 3:29
  is
• 3:29
  home
• 3:29
  care.
• 3:30
  Gotta
• 3:31
  take
• 3:31
  care
• 3:31
  of
• 3:31
  the
• 3:31
  place.
• 3:32
  And
• 3:32
  if
• 3:32
  you
• 3:32
  think
• 3:33
  about
• 3:33
  it,
• 3:33
  I
• 3:33
  know
• 3:33
  there's
• 3:33
  people
• 3:34
  out
• 3:34
  there
• 3:34
  that
• 3:34
  are
• 3:34
  kind
• 3:34
  of
• 3:35
  shrugging
• 3:35
  their
• 3:36
  shoulders
• 3:36
  going,
• 3:36
  oh
• 3:37
  yeah,
• 3:37
  I
• 3:37
  bought
• 3:37
  a
• 3:37
  new
• 3:37
  house,
• 3:38
  I'm
• 3:38
  good.
• 3:39
  Well,
• 3:39
  I
• 3:39
  tell
• 3:39
  you
• 3:39
  what,
• 3:40
  in
• 3:40
  today's
• 3:41
  marketplace
• 3:41
  out
• 3:42
  there
• 3:43
  with
• 3:43
  most
• 3:43
  homes
• 3:44
  the
• 3:44
  way
• 3:44
  they're
• 3:45
  constructed,
• 3:46
  you
• 3:46
  think
• 3:46
  about
• 3:46
  Appliances,
• 3:47
  most
• 3:48
  appliances
• 3:48
  don't
• 3:49
  last
• 3:49
  seven
• 3:50
  to
• 3:50
  10
• 3:50
  years.
• 3:51
  So
• 3:52
  if
• 3:52
  you
• 3:52
  go
• 3:52
  out
• 3:52
  and
• 3:52
  buy
• 3:52
  a
• 3:53
  new
• 3:53
  home,
• 3:54
  yes,
• 3:54
  you
• 3:55
  start
• 3:55
  out
• 3:55
  with
• 3:55
  everything
• 3:56
  brand
• 3:56
  new.
• 3:57
  But
• 3:57
  by
• 3:57
  year
• 3:58
  seven,
• 3:58
  maybe
• 3:59
  that
• 3:59
  microwave
• 4:00
  has
• 4:00
  gone
• 4:00
  away,
• 4:01
  Maybe,
• 4:02
  maybe
• 4:02
  that
• 4:02
  refrigerator's
• 4:03
  on
• 4:03
  its
• 4:03
  last
• 4:03
  leg.
• 4:04
  Washer
• 4:05
  and
• 4:05
  dryer
• 4:05
  are
• 4:07
  dying.
• 4:08
  Dishwasher,
• 4:09
  it's
• 4:09
  almost
• 4:09
  toast.
• 4:10
  Water
• 4:10
  heater,
• 4:11
  if
• 4:11
  you
• 4:11
  haven't
• 4:11
  maintained
• 4:11
  it
• 4:12
  could
• 4:12
  be
• 4:12
  gone
• 4:13
  in
• 4:13
  that
• 4:13
  H
• 4:13
  vac
• 4:14
  system,
• 4:14
  guys,
• 4:15
  if
• 4:15
  you
• 4:15
  haven't
• 4:15
  maintained
• 4:16
  it
• 4:16
  every
• 4:16
  single
• 4:17
  year,
• 4:18
  that
• 4:18
  could
• 4:18
  be
• 4:19
  on
• 4:19
  its
• 4:19
  way
• 4:19
  out
• 4:19
  as
• 4:20
  well.
• 4:20
  So
• 4:21
  if
• 4:21
  you
• 4:21
  really
• 4:21
  start
• 4:22
  thinking
• 4:22
  about
• 4:22
  that,
• 4:23
  even
• 4:24
  with
• 4:24
  a
• 4:24
  brand
• 4:24
  new
• 4:25
  home,
• 4:25
  that
• 4:26
  starts
• 4:26
  to
• 4:26
  catch
• 4:26
  up
• 4:26
  with
• 4:27
  you
• 4:27
  very
• 4:27
  quickly.
• 4:29
  So
• 4:29
  it's
• 4:29
  really
• 4:30
  interesting
• 4:30
  here
• 4:31
  thinking
• 4:31
  about
• 4:31
  that
• 4:31
  disconnect
• 4:32
  that
• 4:32
  we're
• 4:32
  finding
• 4:33
  and
• 4:34
  where
• 4:35
  homeowners,
• 4:36
  many
• 4:37
  people
• 4:37
  out
• 4:37
  there
• 4:38
  are
• 4:38
  expecting
• 4:38
  on
• 4:38
  this
• 4:39
  study
• 4:39
  to
• 4:40
  pay
• 4:40
  1
• 4:40
  to
• 4:40
  $5,000
• 4:41
  tops.
• 4:42
  The
• 4:42
  actual
• 4:42
  costs
• 4:43
  do
• 4:43
  exceed
• 4:44
  7,000
• 4:44
  a
• 4:45
  year.
• 4:45
  So
• 4:46
  if
• 4:46
  you
• 4:46
  have
• 4:46
  major
• 4:47
  repairs,
• 4:48
  you
• 4:48
  could
• 4:48
  be
• 4:48
  in
• 4:48
  the
• 4:49
  mid
• 4:49
  400,000
• 4:50
  mark
• 4:51
  over
• 4:51
  the
• 4:51
  lifetime
• 4:51
  of
• 4:52
  that
• 4:52
  home,
• 4:52
  if
• 4:53
  you
• 4:53
  have
• 4:53
  to
• 4:53
  put
• 4:53
  in
• 4:53
  an
• 4:54
  H
• 4:54
  vac
• 4:54
  system,
• 4:55
  water
• 4:55
  damage,
• 4:56
  things
• 4:56
  like
• 4:56
  that.
• 4:56
  So
• 4:57
  pretty,
• 4:58
  pretty
• 4:58
  interesting
• 4:59
  stuff.
• 4:59
  And
• 4:59
  I
• 4:59
  think
• 4:59
  it's
• 5:00
  something
• 5:00
  we
• 5:00
  should
• 5:00
  pay
• 5:00
  attention
• 5:00
  to
• 5:01
  because
• 5:02
  I
• 5:02
  tell
• 5:02
  you
• 5:02
  what,
• 5:03
  when
• 5:04
  you
• 5:04
  get
• 5:04
  a
• 5:04
  roof
• 5:04
  that
• 5:04
  rarely
• 5:05
  lasts
• 5:05
  20
• 5:06
  years,
• 5:07
  this
• 5:07
  stuff
• 5:07
  starts
• 5:07
  to
• 5:07
  add
• 5:08
  up
• 5:08
  quickly.
• 5:08
  If
• 5:09
  you're
• 5:09
  not
• 5:09
  out
• 5:09
  there
• 5:09
  staying
• 5:10
  in
• 5:10
  that
• 5:10
  deck
• 5:10
  every
• 5:11
  few
• 5:11
  years,
• 5:11
  if
• 5:11
  you're
• 5:11
  not
• 5:12
  out
• 5:12
  making
• 5:12
  sure
• 5:12
  the
• 5:12
  gutters
• 5:13
  are
• 5:13
  clean,
• 5:14
  everything's
• 5:14
  caulked
• 5:15
  up.
• 5:15
  All
• 5:16
  those
• 5:16
  maintenance
• 5:16
  things
• 5:17
  that
• 5:17
  we
• 5:17
  talk
• 5:17
  about
• 5:18
  every
• 5:19
  year,
• 5:19
  we've
• 5:19
  got
• 5:19
  our
• 5:20
  spring
• 5:20
  home
• 5:21
  maintenance
• 5:21
  checklist
• 5:22
  coming
• 5:22
  up
• 5:22
  here
• 5:22
  soon.
• 5:23
  I
• 5:23
  tell
• 5:23
  you
• 5:23
  what,
• 5:23
  it's
• 5:24
  one
• 5:24
  of
• 5:24
  those
• 5:24
  things
• 5:24
  that
• 5:24
  we
• 5:25
  need
• 5:25
  to
• 5:25
  dive
• 5:25
  in
• 5:25
  and
• 5:25
  make
• 5:26
  sure
• 5:26
  that
• 5:26
  we
• 5:26
  take
• 5:26
  care
• 5:26
  of.
• 5:27
  Because
• 5:28
  anytime
• 5:28
  we
• 5:28
  do
• 5:29
  some
• 5:29
  of
• 5:29
  that
• 5:29
  maintenance
• 5:29
  like
• 5:29
  that,
• 5:30
  we're
• 5:30
  ticking
• 5:30
  away
• 5:31
  ourselves
• 5:32
  out
• 5:32
  of
• 5:32
  that
• 5:33
  $339,000
• 5:35
  average.
• 5:36
  So
• 5:36
  the
• 5:36
  more
• 5:36
  we
• 5:36
  can
• 5:36
  do
• 5:37
  ourselves,
• 5:37
  the
• 5:37
  more
• 5:37
  money
• 5:37
  we
• 5:38
  have
• 5:38
  in
• 5:38
  our
• 5:38
  pockets
• 5:38
  and
• 5:38
  the
• 5:39
  more
• 5:39
  we're
• 5:39
  not
• 5:39
  having
• 5:39
  to
• 5:39
  pay
• 5:39
  somebody
• 5:40
  else
• 5:40
  to
• 5:40
  do
• 5:40
  it.
• 5:41
  You
• 5:41
  know,
• 5:41
  it's
• 5:41
  great.
• 5:41
  Yesterday
• 5:42
  I
• 5:43
  was
• 5:43
  here
• 5:43
  working
• 5:43
  on
• 5:43
  my
• 5:44
  studio,
• 5:44
  working
• 5:44
  on
• 5:45
  this
• 5:45
  weekend
• 5:45
  show,
• 5:45
  and
• 5:46
  I
• 5:46
  hear
• 5:47
  some
• 5:47
  saws
• 5:47
  and
• 5:47
  stuff
• 5:48
  going
• 5:48
  next
• 5:48
  door.
• 5:48
  So
• 5:48
  I
• 5:48
  look
• 5:49
  out
• 5:49
  the
• 5:49
  window,
• 5:50
  check
• 5:50
  it
• 5:50
  out,
• 5:51
  contractor
• 5:51
  next
• 5:52
  door.
• 5:52
  This
• 5:52
  house
• 5:53
  is
• 5:53
  not
• 5:53
  seven
• 5:53
  years
• 5:54
  old.
• 5:55
  Swap
• 5:55
  it
• 5:55
  out
• 5:55
  a
• 5:55
  bathroom
• 5:56
  window.
• 5:57
  Yep,
• 5:57
  it
• 5:57
  looked
• 5:58
  good.
• 5:58
  They
• 5:58
  did
• 5:58
  a
• 5:59
  great
• 5:59
  job.
• 5:59
  It
• 5:59
  was
• 5:59
  awesome.
• 6:00
  I
• 6:00
  was
• 6:00
  so.
• 6:01
  I
• 6:01
  wanted
• 6:01
  to
• 6:01
  go
• 6:01
  out
• 6:01
  and
• 6:01
  just
• 6:02
  give
• 6:02
  the
• 6:02
  guys
• 6:02
  a
• 6:03
  good
• 6:03
  golf
• 6:03
  clap
• 6:04
  out
• 6:04
  there
• 6:04
  because
• 6:05
  they
• 6:05
  flashed
• 6:06
  her.
• 6:06
  They
• 6:06
  did
• 6:06
  go
• 6:07
  a
• 6:07
  little
• 6:07
  excessive
• 6:08
  on
• 6:08
  the
• 6:08
  caulking.
• 6:09
  I
• 6:09
  will
• 6:09
  say
• 6:10
  that
• 6:10
  was
• 6:10
  a
• 6:10
  little
• 6:11
  big.
• 6:11
  But
• 6:11
  other
• 6:12
  than
• 6:12
  that,
• 6:12
  I'd
• 6:13
  give
• 6:13
  them
• 6:13
  a
• 6:14
  Solid
• 6:14
  a.
• 6:15
  I'll
• 6:15
  go
• 6:15
  92%.
• 6:17
  But
• 6:17
  really
• 6:18
  it
• 6:19
  ended
• 6:19
  up
• 6:19
  looking
• 6:20
  great.
• 6:20
  And
• 6:20
  they
• 6:20
  did
• 6:21
  it
• 6:21
  right.
• 6:21
  But
• 6:22
  I
• 6:22
  bet
• 6:22
  you
• 6:22
  that
• 6:22
  was
• 6:23
  a
• 6:23
  thousand
• 6:23
  dollar
• 6:23
  window
• 6:24
  replacement.
• 6:25
  Fifteen
• 6:25
  hundred
• 6:26
  dollar
• 6:26
  window
• 6:26
  replacement.
• 6:27
  So
• 6:28
  second
• 6:28
  story,
• 6:28
  they
• 6:29
  had
• 6:29
  scaffolding
• 6:29
  set
• 6:30
  up,
• 6:30
  a
• 6:30
  couple
• 6:30
  ladders
• 6:31
  and
• 6:31
  they're
• 6:32
  out
• 6:32
  there
• 6:32
  for
• 6:32
  most
• 6:32
  of
• 6:32
  the
• 6:32
  day
• 6:33
  because
• 6:34
  they
• 6:34
  wanted
• 6:34
  to
• 6:34
  do
• 6:34
  it
• 6:34
  right.
• 6:35
  And
• 6:35
  I
• 6:35
  give
• 6:35
  them
• 6:35
  that.
• 6:36
  They
• 6:36
  had
• 6:36
  to
• 6:37
  cut
• 6:37
  back
• 6:37
  on
• 6:37
  the
• 6:37
  window
• 6:38
  and
• 6:38
  even
• 6:38
  that,
• 6:39
  that,
• 6:39
  you
• 6:39
  know,
• 6:39
  of
• 6:39
  course
• 6:39
  that
• 6:40
  window
• 6:40
  is
• 6:40
  going
• 6:41
  to
• 6:41
  be
• 6:41
  a
• 6:41
  different
• 6:41
  thickness
• 6:42
  a
• 6:42
  little
• 6:42
  bit.
• 6:42
  So
• 6:43
  they
• 6:43
  had
• 6:43
  to
• 6:43
  do
• 6:43
  some
• 6:43
  modifications.
• 6:44
  Did
• 6:44
  a
• 6:45
  great
• 6:45
  job.
• 6:46
  The
• 6:46
  time
• 6:46
  they
• 6:46
  were
• 6:46
  in
• 6:47
  and
• 6:47
  out,
• 6:47
  I'd
• 6:47
  say
• 6:47
  they
• 6:47
  were
• 6:48
  in
• 6:48
  there
• 6:48
  six,
• 6:48
  seven
• 6:48
  hours.
• 6:49
  But
• 6:49
  that
• 6:49
  just
• 6:50
  shows
• 6:50
  you
• 6:51
  two
• 6:51
  or
• 6:51
  three
• 6:51
  guys
• 6:52
  out
• 6:52
  there.
• 6:52
  So
• 6:52
  that
• 6:52
  could
• 6:52
  have
• 6:53
  been
• 6:53
  an
• 6:53
  easy
• 6:53
  1500
• 6:53
  bucks
• 6:54
  on
• 6:54
  that.
• 6:54
  Plus
• 6:55
  with
• 6:55
  the
• 6:55
  window.
• 6:56
  And
• 6:56
  that
• 6:56
  was
• 6:56
  just
• 6:57
  one
• 6:57
  window.
• 6:58
  So
• 6:58
  you
• 6:59
  start
• 6:59
  to
• 6:59
  think
• 6:59
  about
• 6:59
  what
• 7:00
  those
• 7:00
  things
• 7:00
  cost.
• 7:01
  Well,
• 7:01
  we
• 7:02
  start,
• 7:02
  should
• 7:02
  start
• 7:03
  planning
• 7:03
  on
• 7:03
  that.
• 7:04
  You
• 7:04
  know,
• 7:04
  maybe
• 7:05
  you
• 7:05
  should
• 7:05
  have
• 7:05
  a
• 7:05
  fund
• 7:06
  for
• 7:06
  your
• 7:06
  house,
• 7:07
  start
• 7:07
  out
• 7:08
  saving
• 7:08
  it
• 7:09
  up,
• 7:09
  have
• 7:09
  10
• 7:10
  grand
• 7:10
  setting
• 7:10
  that
• 7:10
  fund
• 7:11
  out
• 7:11
  there
• 7:12
  for
• 7:12
  just
• 7:13
  the
• 7:13
  maintenance
• 7:13
  costs.
• 7:15
  We
• 7:15
  do
• 7:15
  it
• 7:15
  for
• 7:15
  our
• 7:15
  taxes.
• 7:16
  In
• 7:16
  many
• 7:16
  areas
• 7:16
  where
• 7:17
  you
• 7:17
  have
• 7:17
  your
• 7:18
  taxes
• 7:18
  taken
• 7:19
  out
• 7:19
  and
• 7:19
  put
• 7:19
  in.
• 7:20
  So
• 7:20
  that
• 7:21
  is
• 7:21
  one
• 7:21
  of
• 7:21
  those
• 7:21
  things
• 7:22
  you
• 7:22
  kind
• 7:22
  of
• 7:22
  think
• 7:22
  about,
• 7:23
  okay,
• 7:23
  what
• 7:23
  is
• 7:23
  your
• 7:24
  budget
• 7:24
  for
• 7:24
  maintenance?
• 7:25
  And
• 7:25
  I'm
• 7:26
  not
• 7:26
  talking
• 7:26
  about
• 7:26
  when
• 7:26
  you
• 7:26
  have
• 7:27
  to
• 7:27
  put
• 7:27
  in
• 7:27
  the
• 7:27
  new
• 7:27
  water
• 7:27
  heater,
• 7:28
  you
• 7:28
  have
• 7:28
  to
• 7:28
  put
• 7:28
  in
• 7:28
  the
• 7:29
  new
• 7:29
  H
• 7:29
  vac
• 7:30
  system
• 7:30
  or
• 7:31
  oh
• 7:31
  my
• 7:31
  gosh,
• 7:31
  I
• 7:31
  need
• 7:31
  a
• 7:32
  new
• 7:32
  roof.
• 7:33
  Because
• 7:34
  none
• 7:34
  of
• 7:34
  that
• 7:34
  stuff's
• 7:34
  covered
• 7:35
  by
• 7:35
  insurance
• 7:35
  unless
• 7:36
  you
• 7:36
  bought
• 7:36
  a
• 7:36
  home
• 7:36
  home
• 7:37
  warranty.
• 7:38
  And
• 7:38
  you
• 7:38
  know
• 7:38
  my
• 7:39
  take
• 7:39
  on
• 7:39
  the
• 7:39
  home
• 7:39
  warranties,
• 7:40
  it's
• 7:40
  not
• 7:41
  bad
• 7:41
  if
• 7:41
  you're
• 7:41
  buying
• 7:41
  a
• 7:42
  house
• 7:42
  and
• 7:42
  you
• 7:42
  can
• 7:42
  get
• 7:42
  somebody
• 7:43
  to
• 7:43
  throw
• 7:43
  it
• 7:43
  in
• 7:43
  as
• 7:43
  part
• 7:44
  of
• 7:44
  the
• 7:44
  deal,
• 7:45
  but
• 7:45
  the
• 7:45
  rest
• 7:45
  of
• 7:46
  it,
• 7:46
  nah,
• 7:48
  don't
• 7:48
  mess
• 7:49
  with
• 7:49
  it.
• 7:50
  Don't
• 7:50
  mess
• 7:50
  with
• 7:50
  it.
• 7:51
  I
• 7:51
  do
• 7:52
  not
• 7:52
  like
• 7:52
  the
• 7:52
  home
• 7:52
  warranties
• 7:53
  in
• 7:53
  these
• 7:53
  situations,
• 7:54
  if
• 7:54
  you're
• 7:54
  going
• 7:54
  to
• 7:54
  go
• 7:54
  out
• 7:54
  and
• 7:54
  buy
• 7:54
  it,
• 7:55
  I
• 7:55
  would
• 7:56
  say,
• 7:57
  you
• 7:57
  know,
• 7:57
  here's
• 7:57
  the
• 7:57
  problem.
• 7:58
  I
• 7:58
  mean
• 7:58
  they
• 7:58
  do
• 7:59
  cover
• 7:59
  things,
• 7:59
  don't
• 7:59
  get
• 8:00
  me
• 8:00
  wrong.
• 8:00
  But
• 8:00
  it's
• 8:00
  like
• 8:01
  anything
• 8:01
  else.
• 8:01
  What
• 8:01
  are
• 8:01
  they
• 8:02
  doing?
• 8:02
  They're
• 8:03
  going
• 8:03
  to
• 8:03
  sit
• 8:03
  there
• 8:04
  and
• 8:04
  make
• 8:04
  sure
• 8:05
  that
• 8:05
  they
• 8:05
  are
• 8:05
  repairing
• 8:06
  everything.
• 8:06
  You're
• 8:06
  not
• 8:06
  going
• 8:06
  to
• 8:06
  get
• 8:07
  a
• 8:07
  brand
• 8:07
  new
• 8:07
  furnace
• 8:07
  in
• 8:08
  most
• 8:08
  cases.
• 8:10
  So
• 8:10
  things
• 8:10
  to
• 8:10
  think
• 8:10
  about
• 8:11
  when
• 8:11
  you're
• 8:11
  dealing
• 8:11
  with
• 8:11
  that
• 8:11
  because
• 8:12
  that
• 8:12
  can
• 8:12
  get
• 8:12
  totally
• 8:13
  out
• 8:13
  of
• 8:13
  control.
• 8:14
  And
• 8:14
  you
• 8:14
  know
• 8:14
  something,
• 8:15
  I
• 8:15
  don't
• 8:16
  want
• 8:16
  to
• 8:16
  see
• 8:16
  you
• 8:16
  paying
• 8:16
  more
• 8:16
  than
• 8:17
  you
• 8:17
  have
• 8:17
  to.
• 8:17
  You
• 8:17
  might
• 8:17
  be
• 8:18
  better
• 8:18
  taking
• 8:19
  some
• 8:19
  classes,
• 8:19
  learn
• 8:20
  how
• 8:20
  to
• 8:20
  fix
• 8:20
  it
• 8:21
  or
• 8:21
  put
• 8:22
  in
• 8:22
  a
• 8:22
  budget
• 8:22
  for
• 8:23
  hey,
• 8:23
  that
• 8:23
  refrigerator
• 8:24
  could
• 8:24
  die.
• 8:24
  Because
• 8:25
  so
• 8:25
  many
• 8:25
  times
• 8:25
  these
• 8:26
  days.
• 8:27
  With
• 8:27
  what
• 8:27
  it
• 8:27
  costs
• 8:28
  to
• 8:28
  fix
• 8:28
  a
• 8:28
  refrigerator,
• 8:29
  you're
• 8:29
  almost
• 8:29
  to
• 8:29
  the
• 8:29
  point
• 8:29
  of
• 8:29
  going
• 8:30
  out
• 8:30
  and
• 8:30
  buying
• 8:30
  another
• 8:30
  one.
• 8:31
  Especially
• 8:31
  if
• 8:32
  they're
• 8:32
  charging
• 8:32
  you
• 8:32
  two
• 8:32
  or
• 8:32
  three
• 8:33
  hundred
• 8:33
  bucks
• 8:33
  just
• 8:33
  to
• 8:33
  get
• 8:33
  out
• 8:34
  and
• 8:34
  take
• 8:34
  a
• 8:34
  look
• 8:34
  at
• 8:34
  it.
• 8:35
  That
• 8:35
  stuff
• 8:36
  adds
• 8:36
  up
• 8:36
  quickly.
• 8:37
  You
• 8:38
  might
• 8:38
  just
• 8:38
  be
• 8:38
  better
• 8:38
  off
• 8:38
  to
• 8:39
  put
• 8:39
  a
• 8:39
  a
• 8:39
  budget
• 8:40
  in
• 8:40
  there
• 8:41
  than
• 8:41
  to
• 8:41
  buy
• 8:41
  that
• 8:41
  extended
• 8:42
  warranty.
• 8:43
  All
• 8:43
  right,
• 8:43
  enough
• 8:43
  about
• 8:44
  burning
• 8:44
  holes
• 8:44
  in
• 8:45
  your
• 8:45
  wallet.
• 8:45
  Let's
• 8:45
  talk
• 8:45
  about
• 8:46
  a
• 8:46
  few
• 8:46
  things
• 8:46
  on
• 8:46
  our
• 8:46
  update
• 8:47
  here.
• 8:47
  Couple
• 8:48
  things.
• 8:48
  We
• 8:48
  have
• 8:49
  our
• 8:49
  new
• 8:50
  YouTube
• 8:50
  channel,
• 8:51
  Around
• 8:51
  the
• 8:51
  House
• 8:51
  HQ.
• 8:53
  We've
• 8:53
  made
• 8:53
  some
• 8:53
  changes
• 8:54
  even
• 8:54
  as
• 8:54
  early
• 8:55
  as
• 8:55
  this
• 8:55
  morning
• 8:56
  here.
• 8:56
  We're
• 8:56
  in
• 8:56
  the
• 8:56
  middle
• 8:56
  of
• 8:57
  changing
• 8:57
  today.
• 8:57
  Doing
• 8:58
  some
• 8:58
  stuff
• 8:58
  on
• 8:58
  there.
• 8:58
  We
• 8:58
  have
• 8:59
  you
• 8:59
  two
• 8:59
  YouTube
• 8:59
  channels,
• 9:01
  the
• 9:01
  at
• 9:01
  around
• 9:01
  the
• 9:02
  house
• 9:02
  Eric
• 9:02
  G.
• 9:02
  And
• 9:03
  around
• 9:03
  the
• 9:03
  house
• 9:03
  HQ.
• 9:05
  What
• 9:05
  we're
• 9:05
  gonna
• 9:05
  see
• 9:05
  is
• 9:06
  the
• 9:06
  podcast
• 9:07
  stuff
• 9:07
  is
• 9:07
  gonna
• 9:07
  be
• 9:08
  A
• 9:08
  lot
• 9:08
  of
• 9:08
  it
• 9:08
  is
• 9:09
  gonna
• 9:09
  be
• 9:09
  over
• 9:09
  on
• 9:10
  the
• 9:10
  original
• 9:11
  show
• 9:11
  that
• 9:12
  we
• 9:12
  have
• 9:12
  there.
• 9:13
  So
• 9:13
  that's
• 9:13
  gonna
• 9:13
  have
• 9:14
  our
• 9:14
  interviews,
• 9:14
  that's
• 9:15
  gonna
• 9:15
  have
• 9:15
  the
• 9:15
  stuff
• 9:15
  that's
• 9:16
  gonna
• 9:16
  be
• 9:16
  related
• 9:17
  to
• 9:17
  the
• 9:19
  basically
• 9:19
  our
• 9:19
  podcast
• 9:20
  and
• 9:20
  radio
• 9:20
  show.
• 9:21
  Let's
• 9:21
  keep
• 9:21
  it
• 9:22
  simple.
• 9:22
  A
• 9:22
  lot
• 9:22
  of
• 9:23
  that's
• 9:23
  going
• 9:23
  to
• 9:23
  be
• 9:23
  right
• 9:23
  there.
• 9:24
  However,
• 9:25
  our
• 9:25
  new
• 9:25
  main
• 9:25
  channel
• 9:26
  is
• 9:26
  going
• 9:26
  to
• 9:26
  have
• 9:26
  more
• 9:26
  of
• 9:26
  the
• 9:27
  product
• 9:27
  reviews,
• 9:28
  DIY
• 9:28
  fixes,
• 9:29
  projects,
• 9:30
  that
• 9:30
  kind
• 9:30
  of
• 9:30
  stuff.
• 9:31
  So
• 9:31
  we're
• 9:31
  building
• 9:32
  those
• 9:32
  out
• 9:32
  and
• 9:32
  some
• 9:33
  interesting
• 9:33
  interviews
• 9:34
  that
• 9:34
  aren't
• 9:34
  going
• 9:34
  to
• 9:34
  make
• 9:34
  it
• 9:35
  into
• 9:36
  the
• 9:36
  radio
• 9:37
  show
• 9:37
  or
• 9:37
  podcast.
• 9:38
  Sometimes
• 9:39
  we're
• 9:39
  just
• 9:39
  standing
• 9:39
  out
• 9:40
  there
• 9:40
  and
• 9:40
  we
• 9:40
  run
• 9:40
  into
• 9:40
  people
• 9:41
  and
• 9:41
  maybe
• 9:42
  it's
• 9:42
  not
• 9:42
  relevant
• 9:42
  for
• 9:43
  that.
• 9:43
  Even
• 9:44
  though
• 9:44
  we
• 9:44
  might
• 9:44
  be
• 9:44
  talking
• 9:44
  about
• 9:45
  home
• 9:45
  improvement,
• 9:46
  the
• 9:46
  context
• 9:47
  sometimes
• 9:48
  doesn't
• 9:48
  translate
• 9:49
  into
• 9:49
  good
• 9:49
  audio.
• 9:50
  So
• 9:51
  you'll
• 9:51
  see
• 9:51
  some
• 9:52
  interviews.
• 9:52
  We
• 9:52
  got
• 9:52
  some
• 9:52
  coming
• 9:53
  up
• 9:53
  there
• 9:53
  this
• 9:53
  week,
• 9:53
  too.
• 9:54
  I'll
• 9:54
  just
• 9:55
  say
• 9:55
  it's
• 9:55
  somebody
• 9:55
  important
• 9:56
  from
• 9:56
  Shark
• 9:56
  Tank
• 9:57
  and
• 9:57
  we'll
• 9:57
  leave
• 9:57
  it
• 9:57
  at
• 9:58
  that.
• 9:59
  Well,
• 9:59
  we've
• 9:59
  got
• 9:59
  a
• 9:59
  lot
• 9:59
  of
• 9:59
  great
• 9:59
  stuff
• 10:00
  coming
• 10:00
  up
• 10:01
  and
• 10:01
  I
• 10:01
  tell
• 10:01
  you
• 10:01
  what,
• 10:02
  I
• 10:02
  am
• 10:02
  so
• 10:02
  excited
• 10:03
  we're
• 10:03
  gonna
• 10:03
  be
• 10:03
  announcing
• 10:04
  here
• 10:04
  this
• 10:04
  weekend.
• 10:04
  We
• 10:04
  teased
• 10:05
  about
• 10:05
  it
• 10:05
  last
• 10:05
  week,
• 10:06
  but
• 10:07
  new
• 10:07
  we
• 10:08
  got
• 10:08
  some
• 10:08
  new
• 10:08
  tips
• 10:08
  from
• 10:09
  Red
• 10:09
  Wing,
• 10:09
  which
• 10:10
  I'm
• 10:10
  super
• 10:10
  excited
• 10:11
  about
• 10:12
  and
• 10:12
  I
• 10:12
  can't
• 10:12
  wait
• 10:13
  to
• 10:13
  show
• 10:13
  you
• 10:13
  more
• 10:14
  about
• 10:14
  that.
• 10:15
  All
• 10:15
  right,
• 10:15
  guys,
• 10:16
  well,
• 10:16
  I
• 10:16
  gotta
• 10:16
  get
• 10:16
  going.
• 10:16
  I
• 10:17
  have
• 10:17
  got
• 10:17
  so
• 10:17
  much
• 10:17
  to
• 10:17
  do
• 10:18
  today,
• 10:18
  including
• 10:18
  making
• 10:18
  some
• 10:19
  changes
• 10:19
  on
• 10:19
  YouTube
• 10:19
  over
• 10:20
  there
• 10:20
  and
• 10:20
  getting
• 10:20
  those
• 10:20
  things
• 10:20
  dialed
• 10:21
  in.
• 10:21
  But
• 10:21
  check
• 10:21
  that
• 10:22
  out.
• 10:22
  You
• 10:22
  can
• 10:23
  find
• 10:23
  out
• 10:23
  all
• 10:23
  that
• 10:23
  information
• 10:24
  in
• 10:24
  our
• 10:24
  podcast
• 10:25
  notes.
• 10:26
  Always
• 10:26
  hiding
• 10:26
  right
• 10:27
  there.
• 10:27
  Have
• 10:28
  a
• 10:28
  great
• 10:28
  rest
• 10:28
  of
• 10:28
  the
• 10:28
  week.
• 10:29
  We
• 10:29
  got
• 10:29
  a
• 10:29
  great
• 10:29
  show
• 10:29
  coming
• 10:29
  up
• 10:30
  this
• 10:30
  weekend.
• 10:30
  I
• 10:30
  can't
• 10:31
  wait
• 10:31
  to
• 10:31
  show
• 10:31
  you.
• 10:32
  We're
• 10:32
  going
• 10:32
  to
• 10:32
  be
• 10:32
  doing
• 10:33
  some
• 10:33
  debates
• 10:34
  and
• 10:35
  this
• 10:35
  one's
• 10:35
  going
• 10:36
  to
• 10:36
  be
• 10:36
  interesting.
• 10:37
  Do
• 10:37
  they
• 10:37
  build
• 10:38
  those
• 10:38
  houses
• 10:39
  like
• 10:39
  they
• 10:39
  used
• 10:39
  to.
• 10:40
  Is
• 10:40
  that
• 10:40
  a
• 10:41
  good
• 10:41
  thing
• 10:41
  or
• 10:41
  is
• 10:41
  it
• 10:41
  a
• 10:41
  bad
• 10:41
  thing?
• 10:42
  Johnny
• 10:42
  and
• 10:42
  I
• 10:42
  debate
• 10:43
  that
• 10:43
  one
• 10:43
  out
• 10:43

• 10:45
  you
• 10:45
  that
• 10:45
  one
• 10:46
  gets
• 10:46
  interesting.
• 10:47
  We
• 10:47
  get
• 10:47
  a
• 10:47
  little
• 10:47
  bit
• 10:48
  into
• 10:49
  what
• 10:49
  we
• 10:50
  think
• 10:50
  is
• 10:50
  good
• 10:50
  and
• 10:50
  what
• 10:50
  we
• 10:50
  think
• 10:51
  is
• 10:51
  bad
• 10:52
  and
• 10:52
  it's
• 10:52
  a
• 10:52
  good
• 10:53
  strong
• 10:53
