- 0:08Speaker 1: Sc advice for sure. It's time and love and lower No.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Welcome to the naughty but nic sham your host, Rob Shooter.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It's Monday. Hey, let's jump into the show because it
- 0:20Speaker 1: was the Oscars last night when we have got a
- 0:22Speaker 1: ton of gossip to talk about. What time is it,
- 0:26Speaker 1: my friends, it air is let me hear you it
- 0:29Speaker 1: is tea time. Big story. At the top of the show,
- 0:32Speaker 1: we have the real reason that Timothy timothey is how
- 0:37Speaker 1: you pronounce it, Timothy Shallow may lost the Oscars Academy
- 0:42Speaker 1: Voters say talent isn't the problem, his attitude is. Oh so.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Timothy may have been one of the most talked about
- 0:53Speaker 1: nominees heading into the ninety eighth Academy Awards, but insiders
- 0:58Speaker 1: say he's loss to Michael B. Jordan came down to
- 1:03Speaker 1: something far simpler then campaign momentum. Voters just don't like him. Ouch.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I spoke with seven voters last night, seven voters I
- 1:15Speaker 1: managed to get on texting or email or one actually
- 1:18Speaker 1: on the phone, and they said, of the seven, only
- 1:21Speaker 1: one of them, only one of them cast a ballot
- 1:24Speaker 1: for Timothy. One told me the following quote, Timothy is
- 1:28Speaker 1: incredibly talented no doubt, but he's also very difficult. Multiple
- 1:33Speaker 1: voters say that the Awards season, as it progressed, the
- 1:37Speaker 1: more members interacted with the thirty year old star, the
- 1:42Speaker 1: less enthusiastic they were about him. So at the beginning
- 1:45Speaker 1: of the season it was all about Timothy Timothy, Timothy Timothy.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And then the season went on, and it does drag on.
- 1:52Speaker 1: The more time they spent with him, the more they
- 1:55Speaker 1: got to know him, the less they liked him. So
- 1:59Speaker 1: had the oscar been at the beginning of the season,
- 2:02Speaker 1: not the end, the beginning, it's the very last awards.
- 2:05Speaker 1: If they had started the season, he probably would be
- 2:08Speaker 1: holding an oscar. However, as the season progressed, more and
- 2:13Speaker 1: more information came out. One verter told me being on
- 2:16Speaker 1: set with him isn't a positive experience. He's very arrogant.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Several insiders also pointed to his bizarre marketing campaign. One
- 2:26Speaker 1: veteran told me he tried to control the entire PR
- 2:29Speaker 1: and marketing strategy. Now, remember this is a thirty year
- 2:33Speaker 1: old actor telling fifty and sixty year old professionals who
- 2:37Speaker 1: have been in the PR business the marketing business for
- 2:40Speaker 1: decades how to do their job. That's never a good look. Yes,
- 2:45Speaker 1: you want your actors involved in the campaign. You want
- 2:47Speaker 1: them excited about it. You want them to sell the movie.
- 2:50Speaker 1: The movies can be great, but if nobody watches them,
- 2:53Speaker 1: that isn't good. Movies are made to make money. We
- 2:57Speaker 1: forget the business part of show business, don't we. So, yes,
- 3:00Speaker 1: everybody wants excellence, but they also want to sell a
- 3:03Speaker 1: lot of two kids. And that's why the marketing and
- 3:05Speaker 1: the pr people are so powerful in Hollywood. And a
- 3:08Speaker 1: thirty year old actor, a young actor coming along and
- 3:11Speaker 1: not making some suggestions or not having a few ideas,
- 3:15Speaker 1: but actually taking over. He thought he knew how to
- 3:18Speaker 1: market himself the movie better than people who have been
- 3:22Speaker 1: doing it years. Never a good look, So that reputation
- 3:25Speaker 1: spread very quickly amongst Academy voters. Just like you and
- 3:30Speaker 1: I naughties, everybody loves to gossip. We all love to
- 3:33Speaker 1: tell our stories. If you meet somebody famous and they're awful,
- 3:36Speaker 1: you're going to tell everyone you know. If you meet
- 3:39Speaker 1: someone famous and they're nice, you're going to tell maybe
- 3:41Speaker 1: slightly less people, but you will tell people how your
- 3:45Speaker 1: experience was. So that everybody in Hollywood was buzzing about
- 3:48Speaker 1: Timothy and none of it was very, very nice. One
- 3:52Speaker 1: person told me, the more voters got to know him,
- 3:55Speaker 1: the less they liked him. There's no love lost for Timmy. Now,
- 3:59Speaker 1: some observe you gonna hear this today, are gonna blame
- 4:02Speaker 1: his relationship with Kylie Jenna. She's the youngest Kardashian. However,
- 4:06Speaker 1: my sources say that misses the point in Kylie. One
- 4:10Speaker 1: voter told me, quote, this has nothing to do with Kylie.
- 4:13Speaker 1: She's actually more liked than he is. Oh, according to insiders,
- 4:18Speaker 1: Kyl's ability to laugh at herself and lean into the
- 4:21Speaker 1: Kardashian circus actually works in her favor. This was a
- 4:25Speaker 1: devastating quote, but it really helped me understand this. One
- 4:28Speaker 1: source told me, quote, Kylie is in on the joke.
- 4:31Speaker 1: She can laugh at herself. He has zero sense of humor,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and at this point he has become the joke. When
- 4:39Speaker 1: SNL start to mimic you week after week after week,
- 4:42Speaker 1: you should really sit up and pay attention. It is
- 4:45Speaker 1: funny to be made fun of SNL, but week after
- 4:47Speaker 1: week it's really starting to add up. He has zero,
- 4:50Speaker 1: zero sense of humor. Now we should contrast this because
- 4:53Speaker 1: it is important with Michael B. Jordan's reputation inside hospital,
- 4:58Speaker 1: inside Hollywood, well, it couldn't be more diff Insiders to
- 5:01Speaker 1: tell me, Michael B. Jordan is the opposite. He's kind,
- 5:05Speaker 1: he's plight, he's respectful, and everybody who works with him
- 5:09Speaker 1: absolutely love him. A couple of clean examples here are
- 5:12Speaker 1: really really clear examples. Sauces say. There were several moments
- 5:16Speaker 1: during the campaign that helped Jordan but did not help
- 5:20Speaker 1: Timothy and industry's screamings. So what they do is as
- 5:23Speaker 1: well as releasing these big movies in cinemas, they do
- 5:26Speaker 1: screenings in big chairs in plushrooms. I've been lucky enough
- 5:30Speaker 1: to be invited to some. It's a different experience when
- 5:32Speaker 1: you watch a movie with twenty VIPs in a private
- 5:36Speaker 1: screening room. Oh, the chairs are more comfortable than the
- 5:38Speaker 1: sofa in my house. You get free popcorn. I love
- 5:41Speaker 1: a freebee. Get free diet coke if you want one,
- 5:43Speaker 1: get a freebee, and often the star turns up to it.
- 5:47Speaker 1: These screenings, Jordan played along and he stayed after the
- 5:51Speaker 1: film to personally thank everybody. He even thanks the crew
- 5:54Speaker 1: and theater staff. Timothy did not do that during press events.
- 5:58Speaker 1: This is when the press get to see you. Nobody
- 6:00Speaker 1: has big mouths in the press. You're talking to one
- 6:04Speaker 1: right now. So what we write is only fifty percent
- 6:07Speaker 1: of the truth. What we tell you is a lot more.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's why having a podcast a radio show, it's really
- 6:13Speaker 1: fun because there's only so many words I can get
- 6:15Speaker 1: into a story. Most of my stories are quite short,
- 6:18Speaker 1: about two hundred words. However, on the podcast, I can
- 6:21Speaker 1: really get deep and tell you the truth and so
- 6:24Speaker 1: inside as they're telling me. At press events, Jordan stayed.
- 6:28Speaker 1: He was there a lot, and he praised all the
- 6:30Speaker 1: other nominees, including Timothy Shallome, rather than just positioning himself
- 6:35Speaker 1: as the front run a totally different strategy here, So
- 6:38Speaker 1: Michael B. Jordan, it is strategy, but it's also who
- 6:41Speaker 1: he is. Was just gracious. He praised everybody. He even
- 6:44Speaker 1: praised Timothy. He said he loved that performance. Timothy only
- 6:48Speaker 1: spoke about himself and said how brilliant, brilliant he is. Now.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Behind the scenes, crew members consistently described Jordan as one
- 6:57Speaker 1: of the nicest guys in Hollywood. They like him. This
- 7:01Speaker 1: really sums Timothy's problem up. This next quote, it's devastating,
- 7:06Speaker 1: one insider tells me. Quote both are talented, but one
- 7:10Speaker 1: is loved and the other Isn't we know who you
- 7:14Speaker 1: are talking about. Not a good day for Timothy Chalomay.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Now we can say it's just one day, and he's young,
- 7:20Speaker 1: He's got lots more of opportunities. But I don't know
- 7:23Speaker 1: if the scripts are now going to keep flowing. If
- 7:26Speaker 1: you're difficult to work with, if you don't bring home
- 7:29Speaker 1: the awards, then let's hire Michael B. Jordan instead. The
- 7:32Speaker 1: next role that Timothy Chalooney is up for, maybe we'll
- 7:35Speaker 1: give it to somebody else. You can only be this
- 7:39Speaker 1: difficult if you are Barbara Streisand we'll get to her
- 7:42Speaker 1: in just the moment she was there driving them crazy.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But it was still great to see her. But at eighty,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I think she's older than eighty. She's almost deserved her
- 7:51Speaker 1: diva reputation. Timothy at thirty not cute. It's not a
- 7:55Speaker 1: good look. The world has changed, hasn't it. It's amazing
- 7:59Speaker 1: that what we would put up with twenty years ago,
- 8:01Speaker 1: what we expected from stars to be a little nasty,
- 8:04Speaker 1: to be a little mean, Now we don't accept that.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You've got to be a good person too as well
- 8:08Speaker 1: as a good actor. We know Timothy is one, we're
- 8:11Speaker 1: not so sure about the other, which brings us to
- 8:13Speaker 1: our whole question of the day. Timothy Shallow may last
- 8:17Speaker 1: the Oscar because of his attitude problem. Do you agree?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Do you think you need to be a nice person
- 8:24Speaker 1: to win an Osker? Should it be about the acting?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Isn't that what the award is for? What do you
- 8:28Speaker 1: think here? So our question is are you surprised? Are
- 8:34Speaker 1: you surprised? Did you think Timothy was gonna squeak through
- 8:37Speaker 1: and win the Oscar? Yes? Or no? Hey? Go vote
- 8:41Speaker 1: on a Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob. A Facebook
- 8:43Speaker 1: page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back
- 8:46Speaker 1: tomorrow to hear your results. He moving along, Carry and
- 8:50Speaker 1: Megan a blasting a new book about them. It's a
- 8:53Speaker 1: tell or book by a very respected writer. Tom Bauer
- 8:57Speaker 1: has been covering the royals for a really long time.
- 8:59Speaker 1: His new book is Betrayal, Power and All the Fights
- 9:03Speaker 1: for the Future of the Royal Family. That's quite a title,
- 9:07Speaker 1: is It's very very dramatic. Well, Harry and Meghan have
- 9:10Speaker 1: seen some excerpts from the book. It's not clear if
- 9:12Speaker 1: they've seen the whole book yet. It's not out for
- 9:15Speaker 1: a few weeks, but they're firing back at explosive claims
- 9:19Speaker 1: in the new book, accusing accusing the Duchess of brainwashing
- 9:25Speaker 1: her husband. So that's one of the big takeaways from
- 9:28Speaker 1: Tom's book. He blames Meghan or Meghan's fault. It's like
- 9:32Speaker 1: what they did with the Beatles, isn't it Yoka owner
- 9:34Speaker 1: was the problem. It's always the woman that's the problem.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Could it be Harry that's the problem too, And so
- 9:38Speaker 1: in this book it's all very, very negative about both
- 9:41Speaker 1: of them, but Meghan really gets it well. The Sussexes
- 9:43Speaker 1: are having none of it, and they've got a new spokesperson,
- 9:45Speaker 1: a new PR team, and they're going to be much
- 9:47Speaker 1: more aggressive about fighting back, hitting back. It's called rapid response.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And they said all the book, all the allegations in
- 9:54Speaker 1: the book are a deranged conspiracy and it's melodrama. It
- 9:57Speaker 1: is pretty melodramatic, but I think people like those type
- 10:01Speaker 1: type of books. They accuse power of building theories about
- 10:04Speaker 1: people he's never met. Oh, that's interesting. One of the
- 10:08Speaker 1: reasons I do so much coverage of the royal families. A.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You love it, but B I've got legitimacy there. I've
- 10:14Speaker 1: worked for the British Royal family. I was Princess Michael
- 10:18Speaker 1: of Kent's publicist. I got a paycheck every month to
- 10:22Speaker 1: represent a member of this family. And that gives me
- 10:26Speaker 1: insight because I've not only met the royals, I've been
- 10:30Speaker 1: around the royals. I've worked with the royals. So when
- 10:32Speaker 1: you work with somebody, you know more about them. And
- 10:35Speaker 1: so when you see me on TV popping up to
- 10:38Speaker 1: talk about the Royals, I've got to be honest. One
- 10:40Speaker 1: of the reasons I get booked all the time is
- 10:42Speaker 1: I know them. There are great royal reporters out there
- 10:45Speaker 1: at People Magazine, at the National Inquirer, at TMZ, at Radar. However,
- 10:50Speaker 1: those reporters might not have met a royal. They certainly
- 10:53Speaker 1: did not work for a royal. And so that's what
- 10:55Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan are saying here. They've never even met us. Now,
- 11:00Speaker 1: the other side of that story is you don't have
- 11:02Speaker 1: to meet somebody to know all about them. They do
- 11:06Speaker 1: have sources, deep sources in the palace, people who have
- 11:10Speaker 1: worked with them, and that source is talking. Those sources
- 11:13Speaker 1: are talking to the author of this book. I'm on
- 11:17Speaker 1: the fence about this. I love a telel book. Don't
- 11:20Speaker 1: get me wrong, I love a messy, juicy book. However,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything new in this book. I
- 11:25Speaker 1: need specific examples. Now. Saying that she controls him, we
- 11:30Speaker 1: sort of think that. I'm not completely convinced that's true.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I think he has a lot to do with this too.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And if he hadn't married Meghan, he would have married
- 11:37Speaker 1: somebody else very similar. It was clear he wanted out
- 11:41Speaker 1: of this family and he was going to use marriage
- 11:43Speaker 1: to do so. He didn't want to be in the
- 11:46Speaker 1: royal family anymore. Meghan came along and she agreed with him,
- 11:49Speaker 1: and together they made their plans and we see the
- 11:53Speaker 1: results of that right now. But it hadn't been Meghan,
- 11:56Speaker 1: it would have been somebody else. It's just so dull
- 11:59Speaker 1: to all was blame the woman. It's always the wife's fault. Know,
- 12:04Speaker 1: the two of them have made these decisions, and I
- 12:06Speaker 1: need real examples, not just generic sentences. I'm a good reporter,
- 12:10Speaker 1: and I say to my staff all the time, I
- 12:12Speaker 1: love it. I'm so so full of praise when they
- 12:15Speaker 1: get a great story. But they have to give me
- 12:18Speaker 1: a specific detail, a time, a date, one that's how
- 12:22Speaker 1: you know if the reporting is real, if it is detailed,
- 12:26Speaker 1: and this book doesn't look that detailed to me. So
- 12:29Speaker 1: to spend twenty books to be told something I sort
- 12:31Speaker 1: of already know, I don't know. And the reason I
- 12:35Speaker 1: doubt there are really specific details is that's what they
- 12:38Speaker 1: leak first to the press, the publicist, to the book.
- 12:41Speaker 1: They always leak the juiciest stuff, and the stuff that
- 12:44Speaker 1: I've been reading very interesting. I'm happy that I've read
- 12:47Speaker 1: the excerpts. I think they were in the London Times,
- 12:50Speaker 1: that's where I saw them, and so very very interesting.
- 12:53Speaker 1: But I'm not quite sure this book is going to
- 12:56Speaker 1: reveal anything that we don't already know. Harry and Meghan
- 12:59Speaker 1: are already black, calling it delusional, deranged, a conspiracy, a
- 13:05Speaker 1: nice royal story. Oh we need one, don't we. So
- 13:07Speaker 1: Prince William paid a very emotional Mother's Day tribute to
- 13:10Speaker 1: his mommy, Princess Diana. So yesterday was a mothering Sunday
- 13:15Speaker 1: in Britain. I called my mommy and I sent chocolates
- 13:17Speaker 1: and flowers. Thank you very much. Her name's Betty. Say hello, hello, hello,
- 13:21Speaker 1: hello Betty. And so yesterday was a big day. William
- 13:25Speaker 1: celebrated the day it's always a tough day for him
- 13:28Speaker 1: because he lost his mommy at such an early age,
- 13:31Speaker 1: but a really touching tribute to the woman who shaped
- 13:34Speaker 1: his life. Princess Diana, the Prince of Wales, shared a
- 13:38Speaker 1: rare childhood photo of himself as a toddler, just a
- 13:41Speaker 1: little baby holding his mommy's hand while they walked through
- 13:45Speaker 1: a field of flowers at High Grove in nineteen eighty four.
- 13:49Speaker 1: It's a beautiful picture. I've seen a lot of royal pictures.
- 13:53Speaker 1: This one is really special and you rarely, rarely get
- 13:56Speaker 1: to see it. It is part of their private collection.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It'd be like looking through your photo album at home
- 14:02Speaker 1: or mine. Remember when we used to have photo albums.
- 14:04Speaker 1: This is not a picture that the press have printed before,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I don't think. So he posted it and he said
- 14:10Speaker 1: the following, Oh, it's a beautiful caption quote remembering my
- 14:14Speaker 1: mother today and every day. I believe that. I think
- 14:17Speaker 1: he thinks about it every single day. He concluded by saying,
- 14:20Speaker 1: thinking of all those remembering someone they love today, that's
- 14:25Speaker 1: a nice way because it includes everybody into the conversation.
- 14:29Speaker 1: We all have moms, good bad indifference. Up, Dan, I'm
- 14:33Speaker 1: lucky I have a great one. We all have moms,
- 14:36Speaker 1: we all have stories. His mom's story is tragic. Died
- 14:39Speaker 1: in a car accident in nineteen ninety seven. He was
- 14:42Speaker 1: just fifteen years old. This is simple, it's emotional, and
- 14:46Speaker 1: it's proof that even future kings they miss their moms.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You are going to hear some gossip today that Harry's
- 14:53Speaker 1: not in the picture. That was a conscious choice. But
- 14:56Speaker 1: it is about William Andy's mom. If Harry wants to
- 14:58Speaker 1: post the picture about him and his mom, that is
- 15:01Speaker 1: his to do too. It's not brother Day, it's Mother's Day.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And so just a beautiful, touching moment. Hey quickly before
- 15:08Speaker 1: we go to break. I love this story and it
- 15:11Speaker 1: ties into our opening story about Timofish Salomee. So Chris
- 15:15Speaker 1: Jenna is revealing that Kylie blew every die of her
- 15:19Speaker 1: TV money at seventeen on starting a business. So when
- 15:22Speaker 1: she was seventeen, she was on keeping up with the
- 15:24Speaker 1: Kardashians and she got a paycheck from that, a nice,
- 15:27Speaker 1: nice paycheck at seventeen years old. She saved up quite
- 15:30Speaker 1: a lot of money. Well, she took all that money
- 15:32Speaker 1: to launch her now infamous lip kits. At the time, Chris,
- 15:36Speaker 1: the mom was really panicked by it. Her teenage daughter
- 15:39Speaker 1: had emptied out her bank account on a beauty idea.
- 15:42Speaker 1: But Kylie was cool and relaxed, and she knew exactly
- 15:45Speaker 1: what she was doing. And now the company is worth
- 15:47Speaker 1: almost a billion dollars. I love that she invested in herself.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I love she believed in herself. And anybody that dismisses
- 15:55Speaker 1: the Kardashians as dumb or stupid just don't get it.
- 15:58Speaker 1: These are the real deal. Once again, as an insider
- 16:01Speaker 1: told me at the top of the show, she's more
- 16:03Speaker 1: liked than Timothy. Okay, we're going to take a quick
- 16:07Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 16:12Speaker 1: the Naughty but naisham your house from shooter. Hey you,
- 16:15Speaker 1: let's get to the polls dot dot a singing a lug.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Last year, we talked about Kim Kardashian and Chris Jenna
- 16:22Speaker 1: firing back about the sex tape, saying it was not
- 16:25Speaker 1: a setup, set up at all. They were quite surprised
- 16:27Speaker 1: by it. They did not collaborate, They were not in
- 16:30Speaker 1: koots to release this tape. Well, rayj saying I'm going
- 16:34Speaker 1: to bring in the head of the video company, the
- 16:37Speaker 1: X rated adult video company who released it, and he'll
- 16:41Speaker 1: tell you if they were in cahoots, if it was
- 16:43Speaker 1: a setup. Oh, do you believe them? Do you believe
- 16:47Speaker 1: Kim and Chris? Or do you believe ray j a
- 16:51Speaker 1: ray J as your winner? Eighty percent believe ray Ja,
- 16:55Speaker 1: Kim and Chris. They might not have arranged the tape,
- 16:58Speaker 1: but once it became clear they were a sex tape,
- 17:01Speaker 1: you think they're the ones that put it out. Oh,
- 17:05Speaker 1: we're gonna find out soon. Hey, don't forget to vote
- 17:08Speaker 1: on today's Paul will go to a Twitter page add
- 17:11Speaker 1: naughty nice rob. A Facebook page is naughty gossip And
- 17:14Speaker 1: be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And now, oh, it's time for the nicest of the day. Oh,
- 17:22Speaker 1: and nicest of the day is And she should be
- 17:24Speaker 1: the nicest for just looking fabulous at the Oscars last night.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Just fabulous. But she's the nicest because she crashed her
- 17:30Speaker 1: wedding in Vegas. She turned to put a random wedding
- 17:34Speaker 1: in Vegas. The people went nuts. Can you imagine it?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Since city it was a chapel ceremony. She was there
- 17:42Speaker 1: promoting her new film, even signing copies of marriage certificates.
- 17:46Speaker 1: She was a witness. Fad started to scream. She was
- 17:50Speaker 1: rocking a simple gold band on that finger insiders her
- 17:53Speaker 1: telling me she is married. So the surprise cameo comes
- 17:57Speaker 1: just as the whispers that she and longtime loved Tom
- 17:59Speaker 1: Harllan and he's adorable. Her finally and secretly tied the
- 18:03Speaker 1: not I love it to use your celebrity to make
- 18:08Speaker 1: people really, really happy, to give them an even more
- 18:10Speaker 1: special moment is what it's all about. Zandea is a
- 18:13Speaker 1: nicest of the day. And now I noticed the day naughty, notty,
- 18:16Speaker 1: naughty Brooklyn Beckham has a Mother's Day. Snubby went out
- 18:20Speaker 1: of his way, so we know that Brooklyn is fighting
- 18:22Speaker 1: with his mom and dad. Yesterday was Mother's Day, I
- 18:24Speaker 1: said in Britain, and he decided to praise his mother
- 18:27Speaker 1: in law. Nothing about his mom, but he called her
- 18:30Speaker 1: the best mother in law ever, sent a hugs center
- 18:33Speaker 1: kisses the time. It couldn't have been louder. It's so petty,
- 18:36Speaker 1: isn't it. A couple of weeks ago, we slammed the
- 18:39Speaker 1: Beckhams David in Victoria for posting pictures of Brooklyn on
- 18:43Speaker 1: their social media. If you want to talk to him,
- 18:45Speaker 1: call him you've got his number. Brooklyn is doing the same.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I mean, some would say the apple did not fall
- 18:50Speaker 1: far from the tree, But it's so petty on Mother's Day,
- 18:54Speaker 1: on Mother's Day, to have to make a dig, to
- 18:58Speaker 1: have to win a put a point, to have to
- 19:01Speaker 1: win a moment on Mother's Day, it just feels so
- 19:04Speaker 1: tacky to me. I noticed the day. Let's end with
- 19:07Speaker 1: a moment of rob. You're gonna rob, you gonna rob.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Opinions aren't history. So Bally has survived monarchies, revolutions and pandemics,
- 19:16Speaker 1: has enjoyed kings, queens, critics, and cultural earthquakes, and yes,
- 19:20Speaker 1: it will survive, Timothy Challo May. Which is a good
- 19:23Speaker 1: reminder for all of us that the noise around you,
- 19:26Speaker 1: the opinions, the outrage, the hot takes, feel enormous in
- 19:30Speaker 1: the moment, but most of it is just that it's
- 19:33Speaker 1: just noise. The people who last are the ones that
- 19:37Speaker 1: are smart enough to know that other people's opinions are
- 19:40Speaker 1: just temporary. Bally's gonna be fine. Opera's going to be fine,
- 19:43Speaker 1: Timothy Challo May, maybe not so much. So, do the work,
- 19:47Speaker 1: stay focused and keep going when you hear the noise,
- 19:50Speaker 1: when there's people out there talking smack about you, saying
- 19:53Speaker 1: stupid things. Egg no them, because history doesn't remember the critics.
- 19:58Speaker 1: It remembers the people that show up day after day
- 20:02Speaker 1: after day after day. And that's what we do here
- 20:04Speaker 1: on the Naughty but Nice Show. We show up day
- 20:07Speaker 1: after day after day. Hey, that is it for today.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening. So they're not even
- 20:12Speaker 1: nice with Rob and nort show. You're the co host
- 20:16Speaker 1: the day we're a production. And Elvis Durant and iHeartRadio,
- 20:19Speaker 1: don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts

- 20:33Speaker 1: a few weeks away. My novel, my Day Boo novel
