- 0:33That's right.
- 0:33We have a podcast at WWW.Americaout loud.

- 0:39You go to the website, you look for me, you'll find my podcast, and then as you're listening to my podcast, maybe have some popcorn or something.
- 0:47How's that?
- 0:47Maybe you have a glass of water.
- 0:48Why water?
- 0:49It's healthy, believe me.
- 0:50Better than a lot of drinks that are out there.
- 0:53But uh look, folks, uh enjoy yourself.
- 0:55That's what I'm saying.
- 0:56Look for me, look for our broadcast and enjoy it.
- 0:59You'll learn a lot.
- 1:00You'll hear a lot of uh in things that you will not hear on the mainstream media.
- 1:04Why?
- 1:05Because this is America's, as far as I'm concerned, America's premier broadcasts network when it comes to truth, when it comes to education, when it comes to being informative.
- 1:19America outloud dot news.
- 1:23All right, let's begin with something I believe just about all of us can agree on.
- 1:27You ready?
- 1:28Is it is it is it really amazing that I'm saying that all of us can agree on?
- 1:33Yeah, that's right.
- 1:34Couldn't couldn't actually say that about Congress, right?
- 1:38In fact, have we seen or heard Congress agree on anything lately?
- 1:43Well, here's what we can agree on.
- 1:46You ready?
- 1:47How about this?
- 1:48The fact that far too many of our politicians, whether they're local, state, or federal, but especially those who have been elected to the United States Congress, they've gone off the rails.
- 2:00That's right.
- 2:01A lot of our politicians are not just not just uh being described as people who have some very, very radical views, views that are not in the best interest of the United States of America, views that are politically really not advantageous to anybody, including themselves, but they go out and spew this stuff out anyway.
- 2:24Uh but I'm talking about totally off the rails.
- 2:29Their rhetoric, it's getting so outrageous that one wonders as many of them truly have a mental health issue that requires professional health.
- 2:38Now, I've said that over and over again.
- 2:40I've said that we do have a mental health epidemic across this country.
- 2:44And when I say that, people think about well, maybe some people roaming around the streets, homeless people have mental health issues they need to be dealt with.
- 2:53Uh, some children in schools across the country need some therapy for mental health, on and on and on.
- 3:00Those people that I just described, they're the ones that deserve the help.
- 3:05They're the ones that we should be helping.
- 3:07I call them the innocents.
- 3:09They're not hurting anybody.
- 3:11You know, some of them unfortunately get involved in some very serious uh uh situations, and it does end up getting themselves harmed or somebody else.
- 3:19But for the most part, some of these people got a bad break in life.
- 3:23And, you know, we need to step up and we need to help them.
- 3:27So I'm not talking about them.
- 3:29I'm talking about the politicians.
- 3:32That's right.
- 3:33Politicians, not all of them.
- 3:35I want to believe that most of them are mentally fit.
- 3:39I don't know about that lately.
- 3:41That's why I've said over and over and over again, you know, we give police officers mental health examinations when they're candidates to become a cop, and somewhere along the line, some departments continue to provide mental health checkups.
- 3:57Why not politicians?
- 3:59Why not judges?
- 4:01I believe anyone who has the power to take your freedom away, they should have standardized mental health checkups.
- 4:10If not once a year, how about once every two years?
- 4:14Because what we're seeing come out of Washington right now with regard to the United States Congress is downright upsetting and disgusting.
- 4:23At least in my view, that's why I believe that we have come of age that we can actually say we are now witnessing politicians out of control.
- 4:34And I mean that.
- 4:35Some of the things coming out of their mouths is reckless, it's unwarranted, it's immature, and above all, does little to nothing for the benefit of the American people.
- 4:46Have you heard anything come out of the mouth of a politician, and we'll focus in on Congress for now, that really inspires you, that encourages you, or do we hear gloom and doom?
- 4:59This brings me to a noteworthy yet straightforward question, which I will address prior to discussing the subject of the extreme rhetoric communicated by numerous politicians.
- 5:11All right.
- 5:12Now here's the question.
- 5:13I want you to think about it before you answer it to yourself.
- 5:17Has the United States Congress recently taking any actions to benefit the American people?
- 5:24To benefit you and to benefit me.
- 5:28I haven't seen the Congress do much.
- 5:31They're involved, yes, with the war.
- 5:33They're all fighting over the war in Iran.
- 5:36They're all fighting the president of the United States, the executive branch of government.
- 5:40They're fighting with the judicial branch of government.
- 5:43Hey, folks, I didn't forget three words.
- 5:47Three words that every American is familiar with.
- 5:49And I'm sure when I give you those three words right now, you're gonna say you didn't forget it.
- 5:53But I believe many and those in the United States Congress have forgot it.
- 5:57It's we the people, not we, the congressional representatives, not we, the United States Congress and the United States Senate.
- 6:06Not we, the United States House of Representatives, if you will.
- 6:10It's we the people.
- 6:32Did a lot of commercials for the beef industry, and her famous commercials were, and we've never forgotten these three words where's the beef?
- 6:41Where is it, folks?
- 6:42Where's the beef?
- 6:44Where's the tax deductions?
- 6:46Where's the reforming of the IRS?
- 6:48Where is this?
- 6:49Where is that?
- 6:50Now, one might now that that's the president's fault.
- 6:54That's not his fault.
- 6:55He's one man.
- 6:56He's doing the best he could as far as I'm concerned.
- 6:59Does he have his shortcomings?
- 7:00We all do.
- 7:01But I'm talking about a body of representatives.
- 7:04I mean, my goodness, we've got hundreds of representatives representing every single citizen in this country, in every state.
- 7:14What have they delivered?
- 7:16What have they delivered to us?
- 7:18I've got to tell you, you know, as an American citizen and a consistent supporter of the Republican Party.
- 7:24I'm a Reagan Republican, folks.
- 7:26All right, I believe in the policies of Ronald Reagan.
- 7:29I wish he was back.
- 7:30And by the way, in my conversations with Americans from all walks of life, rich, poor, in between, Republican, Democrat, independent.
- 7:39In my conversations with them, and you've heard me say this before, I've asked the question if you can select one person in history, one person in history that you would like to see as president of the United States again, who that would be.
- 7:54Not Lincoln, not Washington.
- 7:57You know, you kind of expect people to say, well, I'd like to see one of them guys become president.
- 8:02But the overwhelming number of people who was asked that question actually said Ronald Reagan.
- 8:12Because the people who answered that question and who were asked that question lived during the time of Reagan.
- 8:20So they knew upfront and personal.
- 8:22Even as a young person, as a child, Reagan was kind of a grandfatherly type guy, but at the same time, a vigorous type guy that brought hope.
- 8:32He wanted you to believe that your dreams could come true, that there was always a way.
- 8:39And you know about Reagan was great.
- 8:41He was not ashamed to talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ or Judeo-Christian values.
- 8:47Never ashamed.
- 8:48Always got up there and talked about those spiritual things that all of us need to need so dearly today, if you will.
- 8:57But my point is is that when you look at the Republican Party today, again, what in the world have they done?
- 9:04I have a look at I I voted Republican and support the party because of its policies.
- 9:10I'm opposed to sanctuary states.
- 9:12I'm opposed to to becoming a welfare state this country.
- 9:16I'm opposed to socialism and communism.
- 9:20And I believe that the Republicans in Congress share those same positions.
- 9:26But what in the world are they doing?
- 9:27You know, I find it challenging to identify specific actions.
- 9:31Just show, tell me one.
- 9:32Give me one specific action that Congress has taken that has benefited me personally and you personally.
- 9:39How's your taxes, folks?
- 9:41Anything going on there?
- 9:43How's your taxes?
- 9:44Oh, yeah.
- 9:45How's your property taxes?
- 9:46Now I know that's state controlled, right?
- 9:49But the federal government can help out along those lines.
- 9:52How's uh uh your income tax?
- 9:54How's that going?
- 9:56Have we been relieved of those pressures yet?
- 9:59Not yet.
- 10:00You know, my primary concern about this whole topic, it stems from the fact that the GOP, which holds the majority of the House of Representatives, made very significant promises to all of us who support them, but has yet to fulfill many, if not all of them.
- 10:20And all they do is argue and fight.
- 10:23Argue and fight.
- 10:26Once in a while, I'll tune into C-SPAN, or as I'm channel surfing, I'll kind of uh stick with some of the hearings that are going on.
- 10:34And uh, I gotta tell you.
- 10:36Although you know me, I don't like to label things in a negative uh way, but I have to agree with the people who watch some of these hearings that are going on in the halls of Congress.
- 10:48It is indeed a clown show.
- 10:50They're all clowns.
- 10:51They can't wait to get behind the microphone for their 15 minutes of fame before the American people and yell at each other, to degrade each other, denounce each other.
- 11:03What a disgrace.
- 11:05They are an embarrassment.
- 11:07They are indeed politicians out of control.
- 11:11There was one hearing going on where I believe it was a senator.
- 11:14I his name escapes me right now, uh, threatened to get up from behind his chair and have a fist fight with a guy.
- 11:20Imagine the rest of the world watching this.
- 11:22We've seen that on video in other countries.
- 11:26I gotta tell you, we've seen some real interesting uh fist fights going on in some of the uh uh assemblies around the country.
- 11:34Sad.
- 11:35Very, very, very sad to see that type of behavior in the United States government.
- 11:43I think it was very sad when the president gave his State of the Union message.
- 11:47And uh half the Congress refused to stand up to pay tribute to American military personnel and their families.
- 11:57They refused to stand up half the United States Congress.
- 12:00Congress, as a united front against terrorism, when they were asked to stand up and condemn Iran and terrorism around the world.
- 12:10I don't want that as any part of the government, if I have anything to say about it, and I do.
- 12:16And you do.
- 12:18And you need to know that you've got the power because it's not we the Congress, as I said earlier, it is we the people.
- 12:25You and me, we're all the people.
- 12:28We have to get involved.
- 12:31You know, I used to tell people, well, get involved with your local Republican organizations, get involved with this group and that group, only to find out that a lot of these groups and that groups and organizations have been infiltrated by those who don't care about us.
- 12:46Power, money.
- 12:48Not all, but far too many.
- 12:51So then that question is what can you do?
- 12:54You can vote, and you could talk, and you could speak.
- 12:57You don't have to be an organized group.
- 13:00All you gotta do is open your mouth and say, I've had it.
- 13:03I've had it.
- 13:05And yeah, maybe I'll go to an event that a politician is holding and then put it to him or her.
- 13:11What have you done for me lately?
- 13:14Not what you're going to do.
- 13:16I want to know about your record, what you are going to do.
- 13:20That's why a lot of these politicians, folks, and you know me, I've been involved in politics, ran for office, the whole works.
- 13:28The one thing I didn't do was campaign negatively.
- 13:31I wanted people to understand what I was going to do for them and what I have done in my life for people, whether it be through politics, law enforcement work that I had, the United States military, whatever road that God has given me in my life, I want people to know here's how I used it for the good of we the people.
- 13:50You don't need to know how bad the other guy is.
- 13:54He'll commit those, he'll he'll he'll commit that information to the people without knowing it.
- 14:00But most politicians will hammer the living daylights out of their opponents because they don't have anything else to offer you.
- 14:07Nothing.
- 14:08And I call them out on it.
- 14:10Oh, I've been to events.
- 14:11I I go to a good number of political events.
- 14:14I cut down a lot because I'm now working uh with the federal government, uh, not for them, not for them as an employee, but through our nonprofit organization, uh, with regard to supporting the United States Navy.
- 14:28In fact, we have a broadcast right here on America Out Loud.news every uh Friday morning, 8 a.m.
- 14:37Tune in.
- 14:37It's called uh Peace Through Strength, America's Navy.
- 14:41That's a whole different Steve Rogers, oh yeah.
- 14:44That's a whole different perspective that I take with regard to how we approach things.
- 14:49Why?
- 14:50Because we have an ability right now, an ability right now to serve our nation through the media.
- 15:02And I'm gonna do that on behalf of the uh association of the United States Navy.
- 15:07In fact, listen, go to our website, AUSN.org, AUSN.org, and you'll see what we're up to.
- 15:14I know you'll enjoy that broadcast.
- 15:15Far different from what I do on this broadcast.
- 15:18On this broadcast, you know, I could tackle political issues on this broadcast, which is called Rogers for America.
- 15:25I could do a number of things that I wouldn't do on the uh other broadcasts.
- 15:30Why?
- 15:31Because we've taken a totally different perspective with regard to our military.
- 15:37When you listen, you'll get the message.
- 15:40But I wanted you to understand that.
- 15:42Because people have told me they're listening to both broadcasts, and that thinking, gee, you know, both of them are exciting.
- 15:47Why don't you do this on Saturday?
- 15:49Why don't you do this, you know, during this broadcast?
- 15:52Well, there's a reason why.
- 15:54But you'll love it anyway.
- 15:55Why?
- 15:56Because you love me, right?
- 15:57Don't you love me?
- 15:58I love you, don't you love me?
- 16:00Hmm.
- 16:01Anyway, I think we do pretty good because of you.
- 16:05How's that, folks?
- 16:06So getting back to our topic.
- 16:07You notice I get off topic once in a while.
- 16:09I just go down this road.
- 16:11I don't know why I go down that road.
- 16:13Anyway, so anyway, we have a situation.
- 16:17We have these politicians out of control.
- 16:20At least that's my feeling, all right.
- 16:22I believe most of you feel that way, and if you don't, you know what, email me.
- 16:26Let me know how you feel.
- 16:27All right, you can email me through the uh America Out Loud News website or Steve at Rogers4America.com.
- 16:35That's direct, okay?
- 16:36Steve at Rogers4America.com.
- 16:39Or like I said, go to AmericaOut Loud.news website and uh complete the contact form to me.
- 16:45I really want to hear from you.
- 16:46I want to hear what you have to say.
- 16:48I do get a lot of messages and emails and all kinds of people are getting in touch with me and giving me some um ideas on how they feel.
- 16:56Some of them opposed to the things I see.
- 16:58That's fine.
- 16:59As long as it's constructive and civil, unlike some of those people in Congress.
- 17:04We, the people are not out of control.
- 17:06Politicians, far too many of them are out of control.
- 17:11Now let's get to one of many political leaders who I believe are mentally challenged and need some sort of therapy from a professional.
- 17:18That's right.
- 17:19I am absolutely without a doubt going to name someone.
- 17:22Here we go, folks.
- 17:24Right here on Rogers for America, we're gonna call somebody out.
- 17:29Now recently it was reported that House Majority Leader Hakam Jeffreys, he's from New York Democrat, recently stated that the Trump administration's move to station ICE agents at airports would lead to, quote, chaos, suggesting a risk that airline passengers might be harmed or even killed by ICE agents.
- 17:53He apparently said, this is what's being reported.
- 17:57The last thing that the American people need is for untrained ICE agents to be deployed at airports all across the country, potentially to brutalize or in some instances kill them.
- 18:09Are you kidding me, folks?
- 18:11I mean, this is a leader.
- 18:13The United in the United States Congress.
- 18:15I mean, if that's not inflammatory, what in the world is?
- 18:20This statement that is reportedly, he said, is so irresponsible and unwarranted that it defies logic.
- 18:29It defies reason.
- 18:30I don't know why a person who is sane would ever utter such nonsense.
- 18:36And this is what happens when ego, power, entitlement, and politics take control of a human being.
- 18:42Put it simply, they become out of control.
- 18:45And Jeffries is a perfect example of a politician out of control.
- 18:50I'm hoping he woke up the next day and said, Lord, why did I say that?
- 18:55But he said it.
- 18:56It inflames people, it gets people upset.
- 18:58Doesn't Jeffries know that those ICE agents, their moms, their dads, their children of some people, they have relatives.
- 19:05They're putting their lives on the line.
- 19:07They're not going to out there to kill people.
- 19:09They're bad guys are going out there to kill people.
- 19:13That is an out-of-control politician.
- 19:16Jeffries broadcasted his rhetoric, and boy, very bad inflammatory rhetoric, after Tom Holman, you know, the border czar, uh, stated that he will deploy federal immigration agents to airports for the purpose of maintaining a high level of security, and to assist where needed TSA agents.
- 19:38That's the only reason why they went out there.
- 19:41And they're out there now in airports across the country.
- 19:44And they're aiding these TSA agents.
- 19:48And at the same time, their presence making sure that if some bad guy decides to walk in or wants to shoot up a place, they're going to be there.
- 19:57Because this is a time where, again, the United States Congress, the do-nothing Congress has been unable to fund the TSA agents, and is hurting our national security.
- 20:11Now let's not forget that because Congress being unable to solve this homeland security crisis, because that's what they created, TSA agents are quitting or they're calling out of work in response to their missed paychecks.
- 20:23Do you blame them?
- 20:24They need to make money to support their families.
- 20:26How do you expect people to come to work without getting paid?
- 20:30And by the way, don't you think it's time that when the United States Congress refuses to pay people a paycheck and shut down part of the government, that we should refuse to pay them, they should not get paid, the United States Congress.
- 20:46I believe that, folks.
- 20:47You know, what's good for us should be good for them.
- 20:51But as I said earlier, some of them feel they're elite, they're entitled, their ego, their pride, their power.
- 20:58They control everything because we allow that to happen.
- 21:03We, the people, should control them.
- 21:06You know, it was George Washington, I believe it was the first president who said the people should never be afraid of the government.
- 21:14The government should be afraid of the people.
- 21:17Because it's we the people who have a power that these government leaders do not have.
- 21:23And that power is in the ballot box, not the rallies, not the protest.
- 21:29Yeah, it's good, you hype public awareness, that's fine.
- 21:32But the most powerful weapon we have against the incompetence, the unruly, the disgusting, disruptive elected officials is at the ballot box.
- 21:45They'll bend over backwards, they'll do anything that they need to do to get re-elected, because this is what they do.
- 21:54They get re-elected in my view.
- 21:56They've proven this to me for their benefit, not yours, not mine.
- 22:02Yep.
- 22:03Absolutely incredible.
- 22:06So that's why the TSA agents went out there to help, not to hurt.
- 22:11ICE agents, they're recently assigned all over the United States, dozens of airports.
- 22:16We got a lot there, JFK Airport, New York.
- 22:19Hartfield Jackson Alantha's been on the news a lot.
- 22:22Uh a lot going on there with regard to the presence of TSA agents.
- 22:27And then, of course, as Jeff Freeze makes his statement, and the mainstream media begins to make him look like some sort of hero.
- 22:34Uh, other politicians just have to get in the show.
- 22:37Remember, I said the clown show.
- 22:39Clown shows not only in these committee meetings, but it's clown shows on a lot of these uh mainstream media news networks.
- 22:47I guess you already know that I have no love for the mainstream media.
- 22:51Senator Richard Blumenthal, Democrat from Connecticut.
- 22:54He reportedly made a statement on an ex post that he has, alleging that people will die because of ICE's presence at airports.
- 23:02How are they gonna die?
- 23:04People may be saved.
- 23:06Their lives may be saved because of the presence of ICE.
- 23:10Because when the maniac walks into the airport with some sort of homemade bomb strapped to him or some weapon and wants to blow some people up the ice agent.
- 23:21Him or hell self may die as a result of protecting those innocent people there.
- 23:27Politicians out of control.
- 23:28Imagine Blumenthal making such an absolute irresponsible statement.
- 23:35He's quoted as saying, all right, by the press, ICE agents at airports will only aggravate delays and lines, disrupting checks, interrogating travelers, dragging parents from children, detaining citizens, brutalizing families, shooting and killing them.
- 23:53I hope he was misquoted, but there are news reports that actually printed this.
- 24:00In quotes, attributing this statement to him, Blumenthal.
- 24:08Could you imagine that?
- 24:09A person in the Congress saying such an outrageous thing.
- 24:13But these are two of many examples of politicians out of control.
- 24:17Yep.
- 24:18Two of many politicians out of control.
- 24:23But we the people need to stay in control of our government and ourselves.
- 24:28These are people out of control because they can't even control themselves.
- 24:32They let their emotions run so high that they say insane things like that.
- 24:37Now, why do I bring this up to you today?
- 24:40Because these individuals need to be removed from office.
- 24:45And the only way you do that is to go to the polls.
- 24:49You don't need to rally.
- 24:50We don't need to have uh these uh ridiculous outlandish statements that a lot of people who support our agenda say.
- 24:58When people start talking about violence, turn them off, turn them away.
- 25:03Report them.
- 25:04I'll tell you, I'll be the first.
- 25:06You're a friend of mine, and you start talking violence against people, you're gonna be reported to the police because you're nuts.
- 25:12Oh, yeah, we'd had enough of that.
- 25:14None of this stuff should be going on.
- 25:17People should be held accountable.
- 25:18Don't that what we say?
- 25:19People should be held accountable for their words.
- 25:22Well, what's it?
- 25:23There's a couple of scriptures, description of the Bible that says uh judgment begins in the house of God.
- 25:29Well, how about this?
- 25:30Judgment begins in the house of the GOP.
- 25:32We the people are in charge of that.
- 25:34We need to stay in control.
- 25:36So let's address those politicians who are out of control by doing things within the framework of the law, and the greatest thing we can do is go to the polls and vote them out of office.
- 25:46There's a biblical scripture that says the truth will set you free.
- 25:52Take heed to that word.
- 25:53The truth will set you free.

- 31:26Welcome back to our broadcast, ladies and gentlemen.
- 31:29This is the second half hour of a one-hour broadcast on America Outloud.news.
- 31:35And boy, do we get out loud.
- 31:37We get out loud when it comes to a lot of uh uh domestic policies that we are seeing introduced to our citizens across the United States of America, the foreign policy issues that we are involved in.
- 31:48We get out loud for everything possible because everything that is possible and sometimes impossible affects your life and my life and the destiny of a nation.
- 32:00In addition to that, we talk about some good news.
- 32:03And that's what you're hearing right now.
- 32:05Part one of this broadcast, you'll hear about all the things going on across planet Earth.
- 32:11Part two, which you're listening to now, are all the things that are going on, not only on planet Earth, but also from the kingdom of heaven, from God's kingdom.
- 32:20That's right.
- 32:21I bring a spiritual perspective to many of the issues that we are involved with.
- 32:26And sometimes I'll just give you words of encouragement from the book known as the Bible, the good news book, I like to call it.
- 32:34Uh, I believe in the power of prayer.
- 32:36I'm not an evangelist, I'm not a priest or minister.
- 32:39No, no, no.
- 32:40I'm just like you, regular person, working my tail off uh every day of my life, earning my way, and uh have learned in life as I've gotten older that there is indeed something to that book, the Bible.
- 32:54There is a truth that man shies away from.
- 32:57The truth will set you free, says the Bible.
- 33:01And the only place that I've learned in life where I'm gonna get the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, is from that word, the Bible, the word of God, perhaps even known as the book of life.
- 33:13Seems like every time we turn around, we hear people talk about gloom and doom, we talk about death to our country, death to leaders, death here, uh the clouds are creating storms over our heads.
- 33:24I mean, there's just too much of that going on.
- 33:26So we take a break from that here at AmericaAllowed.news, and we share with you some of the uh stories in the Bible, some of the good news that we could certainly apply to our lives today.
- 33:38Now, I want to talk to you about a fellow that we've all heard of.
- 33:42I don't believe many of us know who he is.
- 33:45Many of us know of him, but have we created a friendship with him?
- 33:50And I'm talking about Jesus Christ.
- 33:53Years ago, I was handed a very, very small uh slip of paper, and on it was something written by wouldn't you know it, anonymous.
- 34:02Uh I've got a lot of these uh things over the years, and some of the things that have been written by anonymous have been very profound and had a lot of impact on my life.
- 34:12But it answers the question that I've been asked from, I've been asked by many people.
- 34:17Uh, who's Christ?
- 34:19Who is he?
- 34:20Really, who is Jesus Christ in the Bible?
- 34:22We hear he's a prophet, we hear as a politician, we hear he's an activist, he's this, he's that.
- 34:28But who really is Jesus Christ?
- 34:31Well, this slip of paper I was given with this anonymous message on it, answers that question pretty pretty well.
- 34:38So here's what this person said, and I'll kind of uh maybe explain some of this as I move on here.
- 34:44More than 1900 years ago, a man was born contrary to the laws of nature.
- 34:50Think about that.
- 34:511900 years ago.
- 34:53It's more like thousands of years ago.
- 34:56Boy, this person couldn't be that old, right?
- 34:59But anyway, that's how it starts, so I'm not gonna change it.
- 35:02More than 1900 years ago, a man was born contrary to the laws of nature.
- 35:07The man lived in poverty and was reared in obscurity.
- 35:11He did not travel extensively, only once did he cross the boundary of the country in which he lived.
- 35:17That was during his childhood, when he was in exile in Egypt.
- 35:21He possessed neither wealth nor influence.
- 35:24His relatives were inconspicuous, and had neither training nor formal education.
- 35:31In infancy, he startled a king.
- 35:34In childhood, he puzzled doctors in manhood, he ruled a course of nature.
- 35:39He walked upon the billows as if pavements and hushed the sea to sleep.
- 35:44He healed the multitudes without medicine and made no charge for his services.
- 35:49He never wrote a book, and yet all the libraries in the world could not hold the books that have been around been written about him.
- 35:56He never wrote a song, and yet he has furnished the theme.
- 36:00For more songs than all the songwriters combined.
- 36:04He never founded a college.
- 36:06But all the schools put together cannot boast of having as many students.
- 36:11He never marshaled an army, nor drafted a soldier, nor fired a gun.
- 36:16And yet no leader had more volunteers who have, under his orders, made more rebels stack arms and surrender without a shot being fired.
- 36:26He never practiced psychiatry.
- 36:28And yet he has healed more broken hearts than all the doctors, far and near.
- 36:35Once each week, the wheels of commerce cease their turning, and multitudes wend their way to worshiping assemblies to pay homage and respect to him.
- 36:46The names of the proud statesmen of Greece and Rome have come and gone.
- 36:51The names of the past scientists, philosophers, and theologians have come and gone.
- 36:56But the name of this man abounds more and more.
- 37:01Through time has spread more than 1900 years between the people of just generation and the scene of his crucifixion, yet he lives.
- 37:11Herod could not destroy him, and the grave could not hold him.
- 37:16He stands forth upon the highest pinnacle of heavenly glory, proclaimed of God, acknowledged by angels, adored by saints and feared by devils as the living personal Christ, our Lord and Savior.
- 37:30At this season, the incomparable Christ is still standing at many a heart's door, seeking admission.
- 37:39His word says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
- 37:42If any man will hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him and will cup with him, and he with me.
- 37:51And there is none other name under heaven, given among men whereby we must be saved.
- 37:57The Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest gift ever given to the world.
- 38:00He can be yours.
- 38:02Is he?
- 38:03Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
- 38:08I've got to tell you, folks, I just realized all the times I've looked at this and kind of read it over and over again, I just realized that that more than one thousand nine hundred years ago.
- 38:23And it's anonymous.
- 38:25So one questions, when was this written?
- 38:28This is incredible.
- 38:30But anyway, I just read exactly the way it was.
- 38:33Uh apparently this has come down through the ages, and people are trying to get a message to you and to me that there is more to Jesus Christ than just us learning about him being an individual that did so much for so many and got crucified for it.
- 38:49The incomparable Christ.
- 38:51Who can compare their lives to him?
- 38:53Boy, when you read, I mean when you read stuff like this, that he uh, you know, he had no medical uh uh education, uh, he wasn't a doctor, he wasn't a lawyer, he wasn't a soldier, and yet, and yet all that he did in the healing of mankind, and he is prepared to do that for you today, as he's done it for me.
- 39:16And I said over and over and over again that, yeah, you know what?
- 39:19I believe most people believe in God.
- 39:21They'll say, say, do you believe in God?
- 39:23They'll say, Yes, I do.
- 39:24But when you get a little deeper, when you dig a little deeper, and you ask a person, well, tell me about God, they say, well, he's a person I could go to for help when I need help.
- 39:36He condemns people who commit sin.
- 39:38This is what they'll tell you.
- 39:40And uh we just got to do good things in order to be on his good side.
- 39:44Most of that is ah, okay, but a lot of it is not true.
- 39:48And let me qualify what I just said.
- 39:51Even Satan knows God.
- 39:53Satan knows God as Jesus Christ.
- 39:56Okay, so let's get that right out of the way.
- 39:58Satan knows God as Jesus Christ, he knows Jesus Christ.
- 40:01Satan, according to the word of God, challenge Christ a multitude of times to turn on his Father in heaven and to turn towards him, meaning Satan as God.
- 40:13Didn't work out very well for the devil, didn't it?
- 40:16So we all know who God is, right?
- 40:19Jesus Christ.
- 40:20Some who are not Christians don't believe Christ as is God.
- 40:24They still believe he's a prophet.
- 40:26That's fine.
- 40:27All right, people believe in what they want to believe in, but as Christians, we believe in Jesus as the Lord and Savior.
- 40:34We believe in him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
- 40:38And as Christians, yes, we are tied to, interwoven with our Jewish friends, with our Jewish brothers and sisters, because we do believe in the Jodeo Christian values that have been written in both the Old Testament and the New Testament.
- 40:54Now, how all this is figured out and works out in the end, I don't know.
- 40:57But I do know this, that in the United States of America, we are a nation that has been grounded and founded, despite what anybody else says on Judeo Christian values.
- 41:10Now, what about you?
- 41:12What is your life grounded on?
- 41:14What is your life really founded on?
- 41:17And I believe that all of our lives, every single person that was born from day one, have had an opportunity to turn their lives over to Jesus Christ as their savior.
- 41:30No person, I believe, has not had that opportunity.
- 41:33No matter where they are, no matter where they live, no matter what education level, you could be a CEO of a multi-billion dollar company, or sadly, you could be someone hopeless in the streets in the eyes of God.
- 41:47What you need to do is to come to Christ.
- 41:49You need to come to Jesus Christ as your Savior and repent of every sin that you've ever committed.
- 41:56Now, one may ask, well, why does God allow this person to be homeless and this person to be a CEO?
- 42:03I don't have the answer to that question.
- 42:05But I do have the answer to where we are headed if we choose to be headed in the direction we would all want to be traveling on.
- 42:15And that is to another city, a new Jerusalem, the city of heaven, the kingdom of God.
- 42:22Life here on earth is temporary.
- 42:24Folks, let me tell you something.
- 42:26I'm now in my very early 70s.
- 42:30I find it hard even to believe that I've I've gotten this far in life, because uh most of my life I would say that I knew God.
- 42:38I prayed, but I didn't really know God.
- 42:42All right.
- 42:42I didn't know Jesus as my Savior until 1977.
- 42:47And boy, did everything in my life turn around.
- 42:50It turned around for the better.
- 42:52Did it cause me to wake up one day and boy, I'll tell you the sun was always shining.
- 42:58Uh it was nothing but success, success, success.
- 43:01Well, I must tell you this.
- 43:02The sun was not always shining.
- 43:04I ran through some very difficult times, very difficult challenges.
- 43:08I would think at times, am I going to overcome this and overcome that?
- 43:11Am I headed to hell?
- 43:12I mean, what's going on here?
- 43:14But then I met a very good Christian police officer in a police car, talked to me about Jesus Christ as not just being my God and my king, but my best friend.
- 43:26And I did exactly what this officer said I should do if I wanted a change in my life and wanted to uh go to heaven to be transitioned from earth to heaven upon my departing of this planet, I did what he said that I should do.
- 43:42He didn't shove it down my throat in a very calm way, he said, the Bible, the book of life, accept Jesus Christ as your savior.
- 43:50And I did.
- 43:51I repented of my sins, just me and God.
- 43:54I was actually in a police car alone when after this officer talked to me about Christ.
- 43:59Uh I talked to God like I talked to you.
- 44:02I said, Well, I said, Jesus, I don't know you very well, but I understand you know me a lot.
- 44:08And so I've made a mess of things in my life at times, and I just pray and ask you to forgive me of those sins.
- 44:15And yeah, I believe, I believe that you did this uh thing of uh going to the cross and and shedding your blood for my sins.
- 44:23I don't I don't really understand it all, but I'll tell you what, in faith I'll believe it.
- 44:28I'll believe it because I was told about you.
- 44:30I did read some things about you, and as I read the uh uh a biography about somebody and believe that story, well, I've read.
- 44:39How about this biography or this history book called the Bible about you?
- 44:42I believe it.
- 44:43I believe it.
- 44:44Now, in back of my mind, I'm whispering, I'll believe it when I see it, all right.
- 44:49But you know what?
- 44:50He had to hear that, right?
- 44:52Whether I said it to myself or to him, he had to hear it.
- 44:55And did he show me?
- 44:57Did he show me his power?
- 45:00Not overnight, no earth shaking, no bolt of lightning coming down from the sky, but over a period of time, after having that conversation with God, accepting Christ into my life, I'll tell you what, the transition began slowly but surely.
- 45:18I began to see uh things differently.
- 45:22I used to go out, you know, with a lot of my friends, and we partied and we did this and we did that, and somehow, some way I became disinterested in living life in a fast lane.
- 45:33There used to be things that I did were not right, improper, and I began to feel bad about those things.
- 45:38That's not me, folks, in the past.
- 45:40I just go live my life and have a great time, and you know what, who cared about this and that?
- 45:45But I began to care about certain things, like fellow man, I began to care about other people, and then I got the calling.
- 45:53As you would get a calling.
- 45:55The calling was simply do what's right, do what's right, be obedient to the word of God, not to be perfect, not to get to a place where you're gonna walk around saying, Well, if I don't do this or do that, God's gonna hammer me uh over the head with a club.
- 46:10He doesn't work that way.
- 46:11He not, he does not take his arms and and and and wrap them around your neck to strangle you after you did something wrong and teach a lesson.
- 46:20He opens his arms.
- 46:21He says, Hey, hey, you come here, just come over here.
- 46:24Oh, but Lord, I'm I'm not worthy, I'm not this, I'm not that.
- 46:27And Jesus actually will say to you to your heart, that's okay.
- 46:31Come.
- 46:32Come and I will give you rest.
- 46:34And that's the message for you today.
- 46:36I don't care if you're in the United States military, if you're a police officer, if you're a teacher, a lawyer, a doctor, uh, not working, a single mom, a single dad, a young person going to school listening.
- 46:48I don't care who you are and where you're from, and neither does Christ.
- 46:53He doesn't care about all those positions in life.
- 46:55He cares about where your soul is, where your spirit is.
- 46:59Why?
- 47:00Because he loves you.
- 47:01That's right.
- 47:02There are people listening right now who feel unwanted, unloved.
- 47:07Well, you're not alone.
- 47:09There are millions of people who feel that way, and they can't find the way out because they're looking in the wrong places.
- 47:15Listen, go to a friend.
- 47:16Yeah, you don't talk to them.
- 47:18If you could trust them, nothing wrong with that.
- 47:21There are times you may have to, many people have had to go on to therapy.
- 47:24They got so depressed.
- 47:26Do that.
- 47:26That is important.
- 47:28But I would say, in addition to all these other things that you are doing or have done, try God.
- 47:35Try Jesus Christ.
- 47:36Years ago, I used to see signs all over the country.
- 47:39Try God, try God, try God, Billboard, try God, uh, a bumper sticker, try God.
- 47:44And you know, I used to look at them and say, eh, what do you mean try God?
- 47:48But then when I tried God, and my life was catapulted, I mean, instead of descending, ascending, I said, I should have done that a long time ago.
- 47:58I should have.
- 48:00Done that a long time ago.
- 48:02Now look, I could quote scripture after scripture to you about uh all kinds of things related to Jesus Christ and what he can do for you, what he will do for you, and talk to you about blessings, talk to you about curses.
- 48:17I'm not gonna do that.
- 48:18I'm just gonna be as simple as I could in having this conversation with you.
- 48:23Because I lived it.
- 48:24I tried it.
- 48:25And so have millions of other people lived it and tried it.
- 48:29Now, we're living in tough times right now, right?
- 48:32Got a war going on, more wars going on, economy's not good.
- 48:37People, meaning you, and me are struggling with regard to getting our bills paid.
- 48:45I have friends who may lose their homes.
- 48:47401ks kind of diving a little bit, maybe even more than a little bit.
- 48:52It looks bad.
- 48:53It looks bleak, according to man.
- 48:56Now, I'm gonna turn it around for you.
- 48:59There is a scripture I'll share with you that says all things work together for those who love the Lord thy God according to his will.
- 49:06So all these things that are going on can and will work together for the good, whether globally, nationally, or personally in your life.
- 49:17But here's the key to this.
- 49:19The key is you accepting Jesus Christ as your personal friend and savior.
- 49:26You know, people will read the Bible and say, oh, great, this is for me.
- 49:29You know, I'll just pray about this, and uh I'll receive this, I'll receive that.
- 49:34Well, the first thing you need to receive is Christ into your life.
- 49:37And as I said to you just a few minutes ago, that in order for that to happen, uh you got to go to the cross.
- 49:47You gotta go to him.
- 49:48No, you don't have to walk into a church, you don't have to go to a special altar, you could do it.
- 49:52I don't care if you're in a closet.
- 49:55Do it.
- 49:56Pray to him, ask him.
- 49:57Now, when I say pray, you're saying, well, how do I pray?
- 50:00You know how I pray?
- 50:02I do exactly what I'm doing with you right now.
- 50:05I have a conversation with him.
- 50:07And boy, I have it every day.
- 50:09Show me thy way, teach me thy path, O Lord, every single day.
- 50:14Do I mess up?
- 50:15Oh, you bet I do.
- 50:16You bet I do.
- 50:18But before my messing things up gets too far, he knows how to get the message to me through the Holy Spirit of God.
- 50:26Every single one of us, saint and sinner.
- 50:29Yep.
- 50:30We all have the Holy Spirit indwelling in us.
- 50:32I've always said that, you know, we have a heart, we have a soul, we have a spirit.
- 50:38Man has seen the heart.
- 50:40Man believes there's a soul, not much is said about the spirit.
- 50:44But the spirit is that of the Holy Spirit of God, the ever living God.
- 50:48And I've said for lack of a better illustration, we need to activate it.
- 50:51You got to activate it.
- 50:53You know how you activate that spirit?
- 50:55Come unto me, all ye who are heavily laden, and I will give you rest.
- 51:00That's Christ.
- 51:01Come unto him.
- 51:03Go to him, talk to him.
- 51:05Lay your life out before him, be bold.
- 51:07I talk to him, I get pretty tough with him.
- 51:09Oh, yeah.
- 51:10How dare I do that?
- 51:11Some people say.
- 51:12The Bible says, go boldly before the King of Kings.
- 51:16Go boldly before Christ.
- 51:18You know, he doesn't mind if you get mad at him.
- 51:20He'd been through that.
- 51:22Every moment he was on earth.
- 51:25He had people calling him names, spitting on him, and uh uh torturing him, and then eventually killing him, crucifying him.
- 51:33He forgave every single one of them.
- 51:35That's right.
- 51:37He did that.
- 51:38That's a hard thing for me to do to forgive people that um wronged others, not me.
- 51:44I look at people have wronged me, I forgive them.
- 51:47I really do.
- 51:48I really do.
- 51:49But when I see people abusing other people, abusing animals, and you know, doing horrible things, I find it hard to forgive them, and I tell the Lord, look, forgive me for not forgiving them because I know what your word says, but you know what?
- 52:02It's just hard for me to do.
- 52:04And that's okay.
- 52:05He understands, believe me, he understands.
- 52:08He's not gonna hold that against us, but if we don't go to him for forgiveness, that is a problem.
- 52:14That should not be hard to do.
- 52:16Nobody has to know your relationship with Christ in regard to the sins that you've committed and the sins you've repented.
- 52:26Nobody has to know that.
- 52:27That's between you and God.
- 52:29But they will see the difference in you, and you will see the difference in you if you go to him.
- 52:35Ask him, seek him, knock, ask, and it shall be given to you.
- 52:42Seek.
- 52:43Seek him, and you shall find.
- 52:46Knock, and the door shall be open.
- 52:50Guess who's behind that door?
- 52:52It's him.
- 52:54So he's ready, willing, and able.
- 52:56Hey, you know what, folks, I had not planned to even talk about this.
- 52:59I wanted to talk about something else with regard to the Bible, but sometimes, you know, many of us who know what's pretty much going on in this world and trying to figure things out and are close to Christ, and are not experts, not theologians, not priests, ministers, etc., but regular people that just uh are making it through life.
- 53:20Sometimes he puts things on our heart.
- 53:22And as I approach the microphone, I was ready to share with you about something else.
- 53:26I see this thing, the incompatible, incomparable Christ, said, why don't I share this?
- 53:32And now I'm talking about him.
- 53:34I had planned just to read that, and then the moment came.
- 53:38Nope.
- 53:39Tell them about Christ.
- 53:40Tell that person out there in their car right now, or in their office or at home or wherever they are, or somehow, somehow accidentally stumbled into this broadcast, tell them that this message about Jesus Christ is for them.
- 53:55The Bible says that he has not come to harm you.
- 54:06Although he doesn't want to see anybody poor, all right?
- 54:09But I'm talking about prospering you and prospering me spiritually, because there is the key to everything else.
- 54:17Know him first, everything else comes behind that.
- 54:20And Matthew, you know, there's a, I think it's chapter seven of the book of Matthew.
- 54:24It talks about building a house.
- 54:25Yeah, build a house.
- 54:26Where are you gonna build your house?
- 54:28Meaning where you're gonna build your life.
- 54:30Are you gonna build your life on the sand that scripture talks about?
- 54:34You know, the wind, the rain, the storms are gonna come, and you know what's gonna happen?
- 54:38You built your house on a foundation of sand.
- 54:40It's just gonna blow that house right down.
- 54:43You're not gonna be able to stand on the sand.
- 54:46And you know, we all have sand.
- 54:48You know where your sand is, you got money, there's your sand.
- 54:51A lot of people depend on money as uh the foundation of their lives.
- 54:55I got enough money, I'll make it.
- 54:56No, it don't work that way.
- 54:58Money will blow away.
- 55:00Money will just simply go away at some point in time.
- 55:04Not gonna be able to save you.
- 55:05No way.
- 55:06Some people will say, Well, I've got gold, I've got this, I've got that, I've got stocks.
- 55:11Temporary folks.
- 55:12Can't take that to the grave with you.
- 55:14It's gonna be left behind, maybe for somebody else to depend on, and their lives will get blown away.
- 55:19When I mean their lives will get blown away, I'm talking about their eternal life.
- 55:23Nothing wrong with having those things.
- 55:26They are not your God of salvation.
- 55:30Or you can build your life on a rock.
- 55:32You know what that rock is?
- 55:34The rock is Jesus Christ.
- 55:36He is known as the solid rock, unmovable, unshakable.
- 55:42Build your life on the rock, Jesus Christ.
- 55:46So you start reading the book of Proverbs in the Bible, you'll get great wisdom.
- 55:50Start reading the book of Psalms, you will be given peace through the storms.
- 55:54But most of all, you look, you look in your Bible, and I'm gonna give you, I don't give these scriptures out much, and I'm not gonna now, because I want you to really do it and look.
- 56:04You look up the word Jesus Christ, look up the word salvation, and then you go where the finger of God points you.
- 56:13And your life, in my view, and in my opinion, will change like you've never believed it could.
- 56:21All right, there you go.
- 56:22The incomparable Christ.
- 56:25There's the guy, folks.
- 56:26There he is, our best friend.
- 56:28Never founded a college, never marshaled an army, never went to law school or medical school.
- 56:34A person just like you and me who had a mission.
- 56:38You know what that mission was?
- 56:40To save you and to save me.
- 56:42So that's where we're at, folks.
- 56:44So God bless you.
- 56:45God bless America.
- 56:46Until next time.
- 56:48Well, I'll tell you, until next time, enjoy life.
- 56:51Ask seek and knock.
- 56:53God bless you.
