- 0:14Speaker 1: take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 0:18Speaker 1: ten number. Let's go to Mara in Nevada. Mara, how
- 0:21Speaker 1: you doing so good?
- 0:22Speaker 3: I'm talking to you, chow Vincent Mark. I made warn
- 0:27Speaker 3: a wolf, a member of the Marx Golden Novice. He
- 0:31Speaker 3: said it was eighty eight. So now, and this is
- 0:34Speaker 3: why I called. Did you watch Boston Blue?
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yes?
- 0:39Speaker 3: What did you think? Copycat? It was?
- 0:43Speaker 2: It was so Turkey.
- 0:45Speaker 1: It's good. It's no, it's no Blue Bloods. It's not
- 0:48Speaker 1: even close.
- 0:49Speaker 3: It's not. Come on. So now they have Saturday Dinners
- 0:53Speaker 3: because they jews. No. Well, I like Donny Warhlburg. I
- 0:57Speaker 3: will watch it another time, but I'm gonna watch the reruns.
- 1:02Speaker 3: A Bonnie Miller. Another very good cop show.
- 1:04Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. Yeah, Blue Blood's is gone
- 1:08Speaker 1: an institution. A great show. Boston Blue. This one Danny
- 1:12Speaker 1: Reagan Wahlberg. He goes to Boston. Something happened his son.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It turns out the plot is his son has become
- 1:18Speaker 1: a Boston police officer. He gets injured, so Danny Reagan
- 1:24Speaker 1: goes up there to help, and he becomes very close
- 1:26Speaker 1: to the Boston Police department. I guess this is the
- 1:28Speaker 1: plot that he'll eventually join the Boston Police Department. It's okay,
- 1:33Speaker 1: it's not it's not Blue Bloods. It's not even close.
- 1:38Speaker 1: But what are you gonna do? The reruns around all
- 1:41Speaker 1: the time, blue Blood's reruns, so you can just watch those.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Let's go to Bill in Brooklyn. Bill, how you doing good? Mark?
- 1:48Speaker 1: How you doing good?
- 1:51Speaker 2: I'd just like to say, and I've been telling people
- 1:53Speaker 2: stay away from these polls.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Don't listen to them.
- 1:56Speaker 2: They are there to deceive and.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Well touch that. It's they're cheap. They're cheap, cheap, cheap,
- 2:03Speaker 1: flimsy polls. A real poll is what the candidates would use.
- 2:08Speaker 1: These public polls cost about four or five thousand bucks
- 2:11Speaker 1: to do. They're cheap. The real polls that the internals
- 2:14Speaker 1: those are like a million dollars a month. Now, no
- 2:17Speaker 1: campaign has done them. Nobody spent the money this time,
- 2:20Speaker 1: so we don't have the real polls. These are cheap.
- 2:23Speaker 1: This latest one that came out today uses the wrong
- 2:25Speaker 1: turnout model. It's not likely voters. It's got all kinds
- 2:30Speaker 1: of problems with it. So the you know, they'll tell
- 2:32Speaker 1: you it's a margin verius four percent. It's more like
- 2:35Speaker 1: thirty percent on these cheap public polls. Let's go to
- 2:38Speaker 1: Steve in Manhattan, Steve, how you doing?
- 2:41Speaker 2: Man?
- 2:42Speaker 3: Damni no jails, no bail, no police.
- 2:45Speaker 2: We'll go with Curtis Baby.
- 2:47Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. Let's go to Kevin in Charlotte, Kevin,
- 2:51Speaker 1: how you doing him?
- 2:53Speaker 2: Mark? My question is why would Mikey Cheryl want disgrace
- 2:57Speaker 2: President Obama's endorse He's typically the kiss of death to
- 3:03Speaker 2: any politician he endorses.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good point. Mikey Shaw got Barack Obama.
- 3:07Speaker 1: He wouldn't come endorse her. He wasn't worth flying in
- 3:10Speaker 1: for her. But he made a video or something like that.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But you're right, every time Obama endorses a candidate, I
- 3:15Speaker 1: think it's like ninety nine point eight percent of the
- 3:17Speaker 1: time they always lose. So not a good move for her.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Let's go to John in New Jersey. John, how you doing?
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm good going.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So my opinion on the mayor's race doesn't mean much
- 3:31Speaker 2: to you, but from Jersey, Cuomo is in the race
- 3:35Speaker 2: to help Mondami.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Now Coloma's in the race because he has nothing else
- 3:39Speaker 1: to do, nowhere else to go. Uh, you got to
- 3:41Speaker 1: give him credit just for hutzba I mean when was
- 3:45Speaker 1: the less of he saw a guy leave office in
- 3:47Speaker 1: total disgrace, has to resign because of threats of indictment,
- 3:51Speaker 1: the attorney generals after him, the ethics committees that he
- 3:54Speaker 1: has to leave in total disgrace, and then he runs again.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You know, even Nixon went and hid for a few years.
- 4:00Speaker 1: He eventually made a comeback, but it was you know,
- 4:03Speaker 1: many many, many many years later. But Cuomo had nowhere
- 4:07Speaker 1: else to go. And I you know, he's politics is
- 4:12Speaker 1: all he knows. I'm sure if you asked him, I'll
- 4:13Speaker 1: tell you that's my business. Politics. I don't do it well.
- 4:16Speaker 1: He's even got a TV commercial where he says that
- 4:18Speaker 1: this is all I know how to do, is politics.
- 4:21Speaker 1: But you could also make the case he doesn't do
- 4:23Speaker 1: it very well. As a governor, he was the most
- 4:25Speaker 1: left wing kook with his no bail, no jail, closed
- 4:28Speaker 1: the prisons, all that crazy left wing stuff, and then
- 4:31Speaker 1: got himself run out of office, had the Flea Albany
- 4:34Speaker 1: and resign and disgrace. So you could argue, Hey, maybe
- 4:38Speaker 1: he's not so great at this. I want more called
- 4:40Speaker 1: Pete in the bronx. Pete, what do you want to say? Yep,
- 4:44Speaker 1: wait a minute, Pete, go ahead. I got to Heimark.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I gotta agree with the last caller.
- 4:49Speaker 2: The Dems are smart. They're keeping Cuomo in the race
- 4:53Speaker 2: simply to get Mom Dammi elected and to split the
- 4:55Speaker 2: vote anyone else.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that could be, but they're not keeping him in
- 4:58Speaker 1: the race. He has nothing to do with the Democrats.
- 5:00Speaker 1: He's a third party candidate and they can't get rid
- 5:03Speaker 1: of him. But you remember, there are only two major
- 5:05Speaker 1: party candidates, Curtis the Republican, Mom, Donnie the Democrat. Cuomo
- 5:10Speaker 1: is actually a third party candidate, which is always the
- 5:13Speaker 1: spoiler of the third party candidate. If he dropped out
- 5:16Speaker 1: of the race, maybe Curtis would have a much, much,
- 5:18Speaker 1: much better shot at this. Hey, Michael Goodwin is away.
- 5:23Speaker 1: He's on vacation. But when we come back, Liz Peake,
- 5:26Speaker 1: the brilliant columnist, we'll fill in for him, and we'll
- 5:29Speaker 1: talk to her next on seven to ten. Wor
