- 1:14Speaker 3: Stocking punchball and they went a whist.
- 1:17Speaker 4: So, yeah, it's too bad, But what did you expect?
- 1:20Speaker 4: It's a podcast call twenty five.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Wits, so twenty line.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I'll say that I did lose my twenty five hundred
- 1:30Speaker 1: dollars on BAMA. I did not cash out when it
- 1:33Speaker 1: was like six hundred bucks.
- 1:34Speaker 3: We warned you.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I didn't want to. That's almostich And why did you ask?
- 1:39Speaker 3: Because that's what I don't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Because I want, honestly, because I wanted to, hopefully do
- 1:43Speaker 1: the opposite of what you said. Sometimes when I ask
- 1:45Speaker 1: and I know, if you go you should do this,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm on the right track.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah, but you asked both me, you asked all of us.
- 1:51Speaker 3: You asked me, you reading Kevin.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I just wanted you guys know what I was dealing with.
- 1:54Speaker 3: And then we told you what we thought and you
- 1:59Speaker 3: go not doing that.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Red didn't re jumped in ages he goes have.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Fun after you said that.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah is my guy though moment. So I did about
- 2:07Speaker 1: twenty five hundred bucks in Alabama to win the National Championship,
- 2:09Speaker 1: knowing there was a decent shot they wouldn't make it in.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Everything had to go just wrong for them not to
- 2:13Speaker 1: make it in, and everything went just wrong. Yeah, meeting.
- 2:16Speaker 1: If SMU wins, they're in. If SMU gets run, they're in.
- 2:20Speaker 1: And SMU was getting run and they made a SMU
- 2:22Speaker 1: almost won, and then what else went wrong? Clumbs makes
- 2:24Speaker 1: an eighty nine yard field goal. It was so stupid.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And now I got the game of the two oranges,
- 2:29Speaker 1: two or three oranges. I hate the most Clemson in
- 2:31Speaker 1: Texas so quickly. And also I'm gonna play you. There's
- 2:37Speaker 1: gonna be some bad words coming up, not from me,
- 2:39Speaker 1: but from a kid that took off TikTok who plays
- 2:42Speaker 1: video games against adults, and it's hilarious. There will we
- 2:44Speaker 1: know bad words now, but I will warn you ahead
- 2:46Speaker 1: of time. Okay, get ready for it, because I laughed
- 2:48Speaker 1: out loud and send it to Mike immediately and was like,
- 2:50Speaker 1: put this on the show.
- 2:51Speaker 3: How old is this kid?
- 2:51Speaker 1: I don't know? Twelve eleven it's hilarious.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I think he's twelve.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so funny. Uh, Coach Riverboat Ron coming up too.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Let's walk through some stuff. Boise. He beats you n
- 3:01Speaker 1: l V. Which, by the way, our guy went to Purdue.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw that.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Yeah, went to Purdue.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Good for him.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I should text him.
- 3:08Speaker 3: That's quick, huh like two years? Three years? No, I'm saying, like,
- 3:12Speaker 3: just you lose and then you go to Purdue.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Like, well, will you lose because your season's over and
- 3:17Speaker 1: the ball game doesn't matter. It probably was already like.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Yeah, they had agreed.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I should text him right now. I love coach Otam
- 3:25Speaker 1: and you guys all we've all got a chance to
- 3:27Speaker 1: know coach on them. But I've known him from his
- 3:28Speaker 1: Arkansas days and I'm so happy for him. Except Purdue's
- 3:32Speaker 1: cold as crap.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Yeah. Where's the Indiana?
- 3:35Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah, East Lansing. Is that what it is?
- 3:39Speaker 3: That's not that's Michigan State.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It's East No, No, it's it's East rather another you
- 3:45Speaker 1: know it's something because I didn't know where Purdue was.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You're gonna read it. It's gonna be like, oh, that's weird.
- 3:49Speaker 3: It's Purdue the city.
- 3:51Speaker 4: What's called West West.
- 3:54Speaker 1: It's something like that.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Well, that's that's confusing. It sounds like Louisiana I did.
- 3:58Speaker 4: That's true.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he want to produce, although it's called crap there.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Uh And Purdue was probably the worst team in football.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Yeah they're awful, definitely out of the power for conferences.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yet, yeah they were awful. So congrats, but yuh. UNLV
- 4:11Speaker 1: loses twenty one seven of Boise State Jenny with two
- 4:13Speaker 1: hundred nine yards Big Twelve Championship. Arizona State just ran awesome.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Arizona State looks so good and we're gonna walk through it.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Arizona say lost their best receiver and still like I'm
- 4:25Speaker 1: telling you something. Arizona State the running back, yes Skataboo
- 4:30Speaker 1: Scattaby and after where in the press conference Gotta he
- 4:31Speaker 1: was like, I'm the best run back in the country.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I just want to and I'm like, I can't argue
- 4:34Speaker 1: with that, like Genty is, but Scataboo is like, dude,
- 4:37Speaker 1: that dude runs. He's angry. He's like a Chiefs running
- 4:40Speaker 1: back Christian Koy No check now, but checko? He runs
- 4:43Speaker 1: like but checko. SC Championship Georgia b Texas. I'll come
- 4:47Speaker 1: back to that. I definitely want to come back credet
- 4:48Speaker 1: one Big Ten Championship. Penn State and Oregon.
- 4:52Speaker 5: What a game.
- 4:53Speaker 4: It was awesome, ended up.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Killing the parlay. I told you, guys, don't beat the parlay.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I gave it to you, and I was like, I
- 4:58Speaker 1: don't know, I'll take Penn State plus five and a
- 4:59Speaker 1: half and I thought there's no way they even going
- 5:01Speaker 1: to be close once the game started. What a game there.
- 5:04Speaker 4: And then you also did say if you won the
- 5:05Speaker 4: first two cash out.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Oh I did say that.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Oh I forgot that, thank god. So hopefully they listened.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Yes, guys, I'm gonna say for the first time, I feel.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Like Penn State is a player.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Yeah, they're good, They're play and I've seen him play
- 5:22Speaker 7: three times this year and at times, man, they Oregon
- 5:25Speaker 7: is the best team in the country. Yeah, it didn't
- 5:29Speaker 7: matter what you did. And our boy wide receiver, yes,
- 5:34Speaker 7: would go to spend time with her.
- 5:36Speaker 4: We have to hundred yards player of the game.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like four to one pounds and they couldn't
- 5:42Speaker 1: stop him. He's skinny, He's awesome. Smu Clumson on the
- 5:46Speaker 1: field goal at end of the game. Okay, so I
- 5:47Speaker 1: just all that out of the way. I do have
- 5:49Speaker 1: some notes on a couple of things. One, I think
- 5:53Speaker 1: that the committee made the right decision putting SMU in.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Now here is why I don't think SMU is the
- 5:59Speaker 1: best team, one of the best twelve teams.
- 6:01Speaker 4: They had to.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Draw a line on what is important to them, and
- 6:07Speaker 1: so if you would have gotten in before your conference game,
- 6:12Speaker 1: you should get in, even if you lose. But I
- 6:14Speaker 1: think how they lost bad, they wouldn't have gotten in. Yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 1: if you would have gotten in before you play your
- 6:19Speaker 1: conference game and you still lose your conference game, you
- 6:21Speaker 1: should still get in. And I think that's what they
- 6:23Speaker 1: were saying. I think if Alabama plays SMU, they beat
- 6:26Speaker 1: them nine out of ten times, possibly ten. If it
- 6:30Speaker 1: was we're just putting in the twelve best teams, then
- 6:33Speaker 1: Alabama gets in. But what they did is they told us,
- 6:36Speaker 1: schedule nobody and just play your conference games. Because SMU's
- 6:42Speaker 1: best win was the overtime do going for two and
- 6:47Speaker 1: not getting it winning that game as to mean to
- 6:50Speaker 1: play anybody. That's okay, they got the conference championship. They
- 6:54Speaker 1: did what they had to do, so and everybody's comparing
- 6:58Speaker 1: well Alabama's the only thing they beat Georgia Da da dah.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I think the committee, even though I lost money on this,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I can do both. I can be separate.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I can't.
- 7:07Speaker 4: You can't.
- 7:08Speaker 3: No, no, I'll be pissed right now.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I was really hoping Alabama would have got in, but
- 7:11Speaker 1: I thought if they were gonna do what I felt
- 7:13Speaker 1: like was the fundamental right thing based on the rules
- 7:16Speaker 1: they had given and said pre this selection, SMU should
- 7:20Speaker 1: have gotten in. SMU is gonna get run. I'm gonna
- 7:22Speaker 1: do all things, picking the bracket it a little bit.
- 7:23Speaker 1: SEM is gonna get run and it's going to be
- 7:25Speaker 1: ugly because they can't compete. Good for them, they'll second
- 7:29Speaker 1: their conference first year in got fortunate with the conference
- 7:33Speaker 1: schedule they could play. It wasn't their fault that they
- 7:35Speaker 1: didn't that their conference games weren't much. Same thing with Indiana.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You can't really fault to them, is the point. So
- 7:42Speaker 1: SMU should have gotten in. I do think it's hilarious
- 7:45Speaker 1: that comes in the twelve and SMU is the eleven.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Even though comes and beat SMU, it's true, yeah, to
- 7:51Speaker 1: get in, Yeah, that's funny. Yeah, But I think SMU
- 7:54Speaker 1: should have gotten in although SMU is not near the
- 7:56Speaker 1: team that Alabamas, And if they would have said the
- 7:58Speaker 1: whole time, we're gonna take the twelve best teams, whole
- 8:00Speaker 1: different story. I think they need to change some roles
- 8:03Speaker 1: next year. I think they need to eliminate the conference
- 8:06Speaker 1: winners get the buys top Sure, you just got to
- 8:09Speaker 1: go to the top four team. It looks weird, you
- 8:11Speaker 1: just got to go top fourteen. Yeah, but I don't
- 8:12Speaker 1: think they messed up by doing it this year. I
- 8:14Speaker 1: think they'd never done it. So what you do is
- 8:16Speaker 1: you do something, you set it, and then you adjust
- 8:19Speaker 1: accordingly after So this twelve team playoff is the greatest
- 8:24Speaker 1: thing to happen to sports in the past fifteen twenty years.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Excited it is, and people fighting and who cares when
- 8:29Speaker 1: you fight over four teams? When you fight over twelve
- 8:33Speaker 1: or thirteen? All those games matter at the end of
- 8:35Speaker 1: the year. There were eighteen games that mattered in the
- 8:39Speaker 1: last two weeks for the national championship. That was awesome.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So I love the playoff. I can remove myself from
- 8:47Speaker 1: losing the twenty five hundred dollars bet I made I'm
- 8:49Speaker 1: Alabama good year. I can because I did say, my
- 8:52Speaker 1: only bet was bet Georgia money line over Texas, even
- 8:56Speaker 1: though Texas was a favorite, and I made it up
- 8:58Speaker 1: there to pretty much counter that good game though. That's
- 9:01Speaker 1: a pretty good game. Yeah, pretty boring game. Yeah, boring game.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Yeah, first half was born.
- 9:06Speaker 1: And it was like the two quarterbacks that were supposed
- 9:08Speaker 1: to be the quarterbacks yours beck.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Yeah, we guys are hurt. Troy there, yeah shoulder, I
- 9:14Speaker 3: mean certainly who came back for that last play?
- 9:16Speaker 1: And then people are all like, well, let's look at
- 9:18Speaker 1: the other schedules, and I'll say this, and there's no joke.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I don't like Texas, and a lot of that comes
- 9:23Speaker 1: from its insecurity and inferiority. But I admit that I
- 9:27Speaker 1: hate Texas.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Hates a strong word, then I hate texts.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I was born and bred to hate Texas because they
- 9:32Speaker 1: are bigger than us, They're richer than us, they have
- 9:34Speaker 1: more tradition than us. Everything about Texas is just what
- 9:38Speaker 1: we in Arkansas like. Dang. I wish we would have
- 9:40Speaker 1: had some money in our state, or be a bigger state,
- 9:41Speaker 1: or have major metropolitan city to have a recruiting, fertile
- 9:43Speaker 1: fan base.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Or have all that, right, yeaheah, yeah, we don't. We don't.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So I hate Texas, respect them, but hate them.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Uh.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Texas, they didn't be a single top twenty five team.
- 9:56Speaker 1: They have no wins over top twenty five team the
- 9:58Speaker 1: only time the two times the two Tames they played
- 10:00Speaker 1: there were ranked, they lost both times. So if you're
- 10:02Speaker 1: gonna start doing the well they didn't. But that's not
- 10:05Speaker 1: what we're doing. Texas got to the championship game. You
- 10:07Speaker 1: get in, you were gonna get in anyway. Sure, you're good, Mike, Yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 1: I know. It sucked.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Oh it was awful.
- 10:16Speaker 1: You're gonna get a home game though, yeah, yeah, that's
- 10:20Speaker 1: gonna be fun.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Huh Yeah.
- 10:21Speaker 8: But I mean there were just so many opportunities to
- 10:23Speaker 8: win that game, and we kept losing the ball, all
- 10:25Speaker 8: these penalties.
- 10:26Speaker 4: It was just like it frustrating.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but at times when teams go, you know, we
- 10:34Speaker 1: didn't play good enough to win, mostly a lot of
- 10:36Speaker 1: times because the other team played really well to make
- 10:37Speaker 1: you not play good enough to win, Like defensively Georgia,
- 10:40Speaker 1: although that one drop pick early in the game, that yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 1: oh man, yeah, that's pick six.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Well, when Texas started kicking field goals and dominating but
- 10:48Speaker 4: still only up six to nothing. You're like, at the half,
- 10:51Speaker 4: did every statin and.
- 10:53Speaker 8: Then the chance to win it at the end is
- 10:54Speaker 8: still couldn't couldn't score.
- 10:56Speaker 1: So you know, Mike, I hate Texas, but I respect
- 10:58Speaker 1: Texas and you right, yeah, I say that like I
- 11:00Speaker 1: hate freaking Texas, but like it's out of love of myself.
- 11:04Speaker 3: That's sweet of you.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Texas lost. I like, we'll talk about their path
- 11:09Speaker 1: coming up in a little bit. They're playing Clemson. It's
- 11:12Speaker 1: like the Devil's playing Satan. It's like, dear God, like,
- 11:16Speaker 1: can't they both be so? But Texas has no top
- 11:19Speaker 1: twenty five wins, so they haven't be anybody good. But
- 11:22Speaker 1: they don't have to beat anybody good because they beat
- 11:24Speaker 1: the schedule that was ahead of them. And I heard
- 11:26Speaker 1: some people like, look at Texas first year in the
- 11:28Speaker 1: SEC in the championship game. Yet A and M did
- 11:30Speaker 1: that too?
- 11:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so did A and M win it?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Think they got smoked and they didn't win it.
- 11:35Speaker 1: They didn't win it. But I'm glad Texas did not win.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Yeah for that reason.
- 11:40Speaker 1: No, no, no, for.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Many but I mean, really them coming in first year
- 11:43Speaker 3: winning it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: But they had a star team it would have been
- 11:46Speaker 1: crazy except they were loaded, and they were loaded last
- 11:48Speaker 1: year and made it to the to the College Football plaoff.
- 11:54Speaker 1: What are you gonnay about the SMU team? They were
- 11:55Speaker 1: way down, they came back. They look final drive. Guy
- 11:58Speaker 1: keeps his feet in touchdown. I watched every game, whach
- 12:01Speaker 1: all the games. It was great. And then freaking Clemson
- 12:05Speaker 1: kicks a fifty six yard field goal to win the game.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Good for them. They deserve it. They deserve it because
- 12:13Speaker 1: they won the game. They're bigger, faster, stronger than SMU.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I think they've played They played SMU ten times. They
- 12:18Speaker 1: probably win seven of those. Yeah, because Dadood has better athletes,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and that's not that SMU can. And SMU has a
- 12:24Speaker 1: lot of money now in the Nile world. They've always
- 12:26Speaker 1: been a rich kid school, but they have a lot
- 12:28Speaker 1: of money now for athletics. They just you know, they
- 12:31Speaker 1: got the coach from USC, the basketball coach. You paid
- 12:33Speaker 1: much money. You think USC to SMU in any other
- 12:35Speaker 1: world is a move you make? No, of course, it's
- 12:37Speaker 1: not like a lateral movement. Yeah, so good, good on that.
- 12:43Speaker 1: H I do want to talk about, Oh, Timothy Shamalay,
- 12:46Speaker 1: how do you say his name Shamalay. Here's what I
- 12:47Speaker 1: want to say about him. I watched him on college
- 12:49Speaker 1: game Day eight plus respect complete, and I don't care
- 12:55Speaker 1: how we did it because you have the people going, well,
- 13:00Speaker 1: he's an actor and he studied cool, and you have
- 13:03Speaker 1: people going no, he knows ball great. All I care
- 13:07Speaker 1: about And I don't even care that much except for
- 13:10Speaker 1: I like when people are taking dumps on people for
- 13:12Speaker 1: me to go like, nump, don't take it up on
- 13:13Speaker 1: that person because they don't deserve it. And before Timothy
- 13:17Speaker 1: Chamala went on, they were like, what is this dude doing?
- 13:21Speaker 1: He's like a long haired little fruit frew actor la.
- 13:27Speaker 1: But nothing about him screams I've even watched a sport.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I see that right just by looking at him.
- 13:33Speaker 1: He dominated and I heard he did really good. He did,
- 13:36Speaker 1: he did really good. And again I don't care for
- 13:39Speaker 1: what reason, and I will tell you why. Let's say
- 13:42Speaker 1: he is a great actor, dude, and Dune Mike, he's great,
- 13:45Speaker 1: he's good. Yeah. I was never a Chalma John Plan,
- 13:48Speaker 1: but dude, he's good. He's a good actor.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Great.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Willy Wonka was he?
- 13:51Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I never saw that one. Yeah, they're gonna send me
- 13:56Speaker 1: a screener, Mike, I want to see.
- 13:57Speaker 3: He was in town this weekend.
- 13:58Speaker 8: I almost got to interview him.
- 13:59Speaker 4: What I got?
- 14:00Speaker 8: I gotta like an email at five saying, Hey, Timothy
- 14:03Speaker 8: shallow May is gonna be at this theater if you
- 14:05Speaker 8: could be there, I replied immediately they said it was
- 14:08Speaker 8: filled up.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Dang, dang, dang. Well he went on.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Dan.
- 14:13Speaker 1: He even was like almost perfect in his picks, only
- 14:16Speaker 1: got to pick Ohio. Sound like you knew he was
- 14:18Speaker 1: talking about. But here's what I want to say. Let's
- 14:22Speaker 1: just say the haters are right, and he's an actor,
- 14:24Speaker 1: and he studied and he knew everything. You don't think
- 14:27Speaker 1: a lot of those people are doing heavily studying before
- 14:29Speaker 1: they go on, because it's not like I could go
- 14:30Speaker 1: on and even know the Ohio team, and I would
- 14:34Speaker 1: go on and be like, Okay, let's see Ohio runs
- 14:36Speaker 1: through four defense, but they're gonna do I'm gonna go.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I would even study to sound halfway decent on that sure,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and I feel like I'm fairly knowledgeable freaking sports. Like
- 14:43Speaker 1: at any point, he was really good. Doesn't anybody up
- 14:47Speaker 1: there study? Like everyone up there studies, Yes, but he
- 14:50Speaker 1: was so good, and he wasn't expected to be good
- 14:52Speaker 1: that it kind of set everybody into.
- 14:53Speaker 3: A show based on his looks and like him being
- 14:55Speaker 3: an actor.
- 14:56Speaker 4: That's so unfair and nobody ever grades people in those
- 14:59Speaker 4: each week.
- 14:59Speaker 3: So why is he?
- 15:00Speaker 4: Is it because of who he is?
- 15:01Speaker 3: True?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Oh, it's precisely because of who he is and where
- 15:03Speaker 1: he comes from and never openly being a sports fan.
- 15:06Speaker 1: He also you know, dates a Kardashian, but he's like little,
- 15:10Speaker 1: like super thin everything about you and think like Hollywood
- 15:14Speaker 1: pretty boy actor like smokes the thin cigarettes. Yeah, musical theater. Ye, dude,
- 15:21Speaker 1: he rocked it. I could not be more complimentary if
- 15:24Speaker 1: for however he dominated, he dominated it because imagine this.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Let's say no sports, he rocked it. Let's say he
- 15:30Speaker 1: studied it and didn't know him at sports. He rocked
- 15:32Speaker 1: in he did what he was good at. Imagine why
- 15:34Speaker 1: somebody that's like a comedian goes up there and they
- 15:36Speaker 1: didn't they don't study so much study for sports, but
- 15:38Speaker 1: they write jokes about the team and stuff, and they
- 15:39Speaker 1: go up and they crush it. Nobody goes like, well,
- 15:41Speaker 1: he studied just to be funny. He did his funny thing.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Let's say he memorized lines and was acting well. Comedians
- 15:48Speaker 1: get extra do they're extra funny, dedicated just to being
- 15:50Speaker 1: funny for that specific thing.
- 15:52Speaker 4: No difference.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Everybody just a hater because they're not they're not him,
- 15:55Speaker 1: or they don't get to be on college game day
- 15:56Speaker 1: or they're.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Not I feel like if you get asked to be
- 15:58Speaker 3: on there and you don't know anything about sports, I've
- 16:01Speaker 3: bet a lot of people kind of turn that down
- 16:02Speaker 3: and be like, no, I don't want to look like
- 16:03Speaker 3: an idiot.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Now, they'll walk through it. They'll walk you through it.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah. There have been a couple of times where they've
- 16:07Speaker 1: been like, hey, if Arkansas wins, we'd like to talk
- 16:11Speaker 1: to you about possibly being either game day picker or
- 16:15Speaker 1: SEC Network has been there a couple of times when
- 16:17Speaker 1: I was in game day. Every single time Arkansas has lost,
- 16:19Speaker 1: for the record that the game day was coming, and
- 16:23Speaker 1: they've never said for sure you're the one, And I
- 16:25Speaker 1: think I might have been like second pick every time,
- 16:27Speaker 1: depending on if they could have got like John Dailey's
- 16:30Speaker 1: own at a bunch. It wasn't worried about John Daily,
- 16:32Speaker 1: but if like a McFadden was there, there was a
- 16:34Speaker 1: chance like an NFL guy, but they both times recently
- 16:38Speaker 1: they were like, hey, we want to consider you for this,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and I'm like, cool, I know the games. The games,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I'll study up. Oh you'd be great at that though.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Maybe, but that would probably be terrible because I'd be like,
- 16:47Speaker 1: I'd be great, but I would study like crap. Anyway, shot,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I give Timothy Chamala a plus, Mike, did you see it?
- 16:54Speaker 4: Yeah, he's good, he's great.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I would say he knows ball and if he does
- 16:57Speaker 1: any tricked me into know the ball, like he tricks
- 16:59Speaker 1: me and he didn't doing like he's on another planet. Yeah,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I believe that too. I believe he's on another planet.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Trying to say that.
- 17:03Speaker 4: He'd make the long corns.
- 17:04Speaker 3: It didn't work out, but it was cool.
- 17:05Speaker 1: That was his only miss maybe huh yah, Yeah, I
- 17:07Speaker 1: think so McAfee's only on the Big Georgia.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Yeah, out of the whole panel.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Right if he end me money line?
- 17:13Speaker 4: Oh YouTube money line had you?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yes?
- 17:18Speaker 1: So okay, boom boom eddie one at the Titans game,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I did. I saw your picture. By the way, what
- 17:24Speaker 1: a what a terrible awful just a few hours terrible game. Well,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I saw your seats and you're like, going last minute.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Those weren't my seats.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Why would take a picture from SATs?
- 17:32Speaker 3: Because I walked right in and I was like, boom,
- 17:34Speaker 3: first picture. Then I went to my seats. Dude, my
- 17:36Speaker 3: seats were way up in the top.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Oh they were worse than what you show. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 17:40Speaker 1: because you bought them last minute.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Yeah well no, I mean so we were on our
- 17:43Speaker 3: way to church and I was like, you know what,
- 17:45Speaker 3: I was doing my parlay and I look at that game.
- 17:47Speaker 3: I'm like, there's gotta be some cheap tickets for this game.
- 17:50Speaker 3: And so I look on seat geet and sure enough,
- 17:53Speaker 3: it's like fifteen dollars. They're up. It was like second
- 17:56Speaker 3: row on the very very top. Which bucks. That's awesome though,
- 17:58Speaker 3: fifteen bucks do for six for four kids and the
- 18:01Speaker 3: whole family going, your wife go, yeah, well we all
- 18:03Speaker 3: did it. It was awesome.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Did they have a good time?
- 18:05Speaker 3: Well I didn't realize this, but and I guess I
- 18:07Speaker 3: should as a dad, But it was their first NFL game. Oh,
- 18:11Speaker 3: Like I didn't even think about that because I guess
- 18:13Speaker 3: we've been trying to do a Cowboys game for a
- 18:15Speaker 3: long time. That like, I've never even thought about just
- 18:18Speaker 3: taking a Sunday and us going to see the Titans.
- 18:21Speaker 3: And then they were like, that is just so much fun.
- 18:23Speaker 3: It's our first NFL game. Like, yeah, I knew that.
- 18:26Speaker 3: I knew that.
- 18:27Speaker 1: They had to tell you it was their fir completely
- 18:30Speaker 1: on Titans, is it? Well, hey, it's only up from here,
- 18:34Speaker 1: that's true. I had a friend who took his kid
- 18:36Speaker 1: to a first college game and it was a crazy
- 18:38Speaker 1: game and it was like overtime and they had seats
- 18:40Speaker 1: like the fourth throw and I'm like, oh God, this
- 18:42Speaker 1: kid's never gonna be the same thing. You took them
- 18:45Speaker 1: to the perfect first game, right, bad seats, bad teams.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Was it raining?
- 18:49Speaker 3: It drizzled a little bit, but it never No, I
- 18:51Speaker 3: never turned into like a real rain. That's good, But man,
- 18:54Speaker 3: they're terrible.
- 18:55Speaker 4: They realized how long the games are when you're actually there.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Yeah, So like they stand around and a few times
- 19:00Speaker 3: are like, hey, why are they just not doing anything?
- 19:02Speaker 3: Like it's commercial break, and they were like mind.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Blown, like, oh, yeah, this is what.
- 19:07Speaker 3: They do when we're watching a commercial. Yeah is it?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:11Speaker 3: So that was kind of cool, and then they didn't
- 19:13Speaker 3: realize to just kind of when they would throw afar
- 19:16Speaker 3: like a long pass a forty year past, how really
- 19:19Speaker 3: far they're throwing it to them? They were just like,
- 19:21Speaker 3: oh my, like did you see him throw that ball?
- 19:23Speaker 3: Like that thing went all the way across this whole stadium.
- 19:26Speaker 3: So it's cool to see them see that for themselves
- 19:28Speaker 3: because when you do watch the TV, like, you don't
- 19:31Speaker 3: see the receivers. You just see the quarterback kind of chunking,
- 19:34Speaker 3: like what's he chunking it to? So you kind of
- 19:36Speaker 3: see how far they are down the field, which is
- 19:38Speaker 3: really cool.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and they got to say two just glorious quarterbacks. Dude,
- 19:44Speaker 1: it was due Will Loves is awful, right, Well, who's
- 19:47Speaker 1: or Mac Jones? So we already know about Mac Jones.
- 19:50Speaker 4: That's true.
- 19:51Speaker 1: He's terrible. But I say terrible as in like ten
- 19:53Speaker 1: million has better than us. Yeah, yeah, in every way,
- 19:56Speaker 1: like you look in uniform and the whole thing we are.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Now you want to go, Mike, you want to do
- 20:01Speaker 1: that spot or you want to go to the interview.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Let's do the spot.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Okay, ok, well, everybody, it's time to do the spot.
- 20:09Speaker 1: That's me looking for the spot as far as the parlay.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Hopefully you did as I suggested, because if you did,
- 20:17Speaker 1: then you won Georgia Money Line versus Texas win, airs
- 20:20Speaker 1: under State money line Versusiowa State win. And I said,
- 20:22Speaker 1: if you hit those two, cash out, and if you didn't,
- 20:26Speaker 1: Penn State was plus three and a half, thought it
- 20:28Speaker 1: was five and are Yeah, I should have cashed it.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I didn't even cash out. I didn't know. I told
- 20:32Speaker 1: myself to cash out.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Got that.
- 20:35Speaker 1: But I did hit big time on Georgia Money Line Texas.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So yeah, I hope you did what I did. Hope
- 20:40Speaker 1: you did what I said. That's awesome. So there's that,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and there's it's a different app. And I want to
- 20:46Speaker 1: tell you you can select two or more players on
- 20:48Speaker 1: the pick six. I'm gonna say this too about pick six,
- 20:50Speaker 1: and I gotta be careful about.
- 20:51Speaker 5: What to say.
- 20:53Speaker 1: There's not every state that you can use DraftKings correct, Okay,
- 20:57Speaker 1: well I'm not.
- 20:58Speaker 3: We know that.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm picked. I had a meeting with DraftKings guys. Yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 1: because I like them. We've worked on for years, and
- 21:06Speaker 1: we were talking about like next, you know, just trying
- 21:08Speaker 1: to keep how can we grow this thing? And possibly
- 21:12Speaker 1: I don't want to spoil it, but possibly we might
- 21:14Speaker 1: go to the Super Bowl. Oh, or at least be
- 21:17Speaker 1: there for a couple of days ahead of time, like
- 21:18Speaker 1: to do all the press.
- 21:19Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So not sure if we can yet, but I was
- 21:23Speaker 1: we were just talking about stuff.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Right, Okay, Stuff's cool, Stuff's.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Great, And so we were talking about pick six. Pick
- 21:29Speaker 1: six is fun, but it's a different app. It's a
- 21:30Speaker 1: DraftKings pick six app. And this is great in basketball.
- 21:33Speaker 1: This is great in football too, because we know we
- 21:35Speaker 1: still have a lot of NFL to do. But you
- 21:37Speaker 1: pick two or more players and you just pick if
- 21:39Speaker 1: they'll have more or less of a stat. So I'm
- 21:41Speaker 1: just saying you can do this in stage. You can't DraftKings.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Oh is that because it's got it?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Yeah, loud and clear.
- 21:52Speaker 1: So like two or more players and choose that will
- 21:54Speaker 1: have more or less of a stat like points and
- 21:56Speaker 1: rebounds of three pointers or more basketball picked a couple players,
- 21:59Speaker 1: But let's talk about football tonight. Jamar Chase more or
- 22:02Speaker 1: less than eighty one receiving yards. I'm gonna go more.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Bengals got to score a bunch of points in order
- 22:06Speaker 1: to freaking win games. Not that the Cowboys are gonna
- 22:08Speaker 1: need them score a bunch of points.
- 22:09Speaker 3: No, but the Cowboys secondary there, they got a lot
- 22:12Speaker 3: of holes in them.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Ceedy Lamb more or lesson sixty eight receiving yards. Let's
- 22:14Speaker 1: go more there too, because they're gonna have to score
- 22:16Speaker 1: a bunch of points to sure and Cooper Rush is
- 22:19Speaker 1: actually Cooper in a little bit.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he can win games.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Joe Burrow more or less than two seventy six passing yards.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I would have said before this less. But we saw
- 22:29Speaker 1: some threes yesterday. We saw some guys throw, which is
- 22:31Speaker 1: pretty cool. Dude, Sam Donald as a monster. If they
- 22:35Speaker 1: don't try to sign him now, I know that was
- 22:37Speaker 1: never the plan. Maybe he doesn't want to stay in Minnesota.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I know that was never the plan. It couldn't been.
- 22:42Speaker 1: J J mcart he's he's not playing good for Sam
- 22:46Speaker 1: Donald now, he's just playing really good. Yeah, and he's
- 22:49Speaker 1: only twenty seven. So I had a bunch of guysto
- 22:53Speaker 1: for three hundred yestra at least a few.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Josh Allen just kicked me out of my fantasy league.
- 22:57Speaker 1: You don't even want to know about fantasy. I had
- 22:59Speaker 1: the worst experience ever. I won't.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Oh, you gotta tell us about that.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Nobody cares.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Yeah, nobody cares.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Uh, So download the new DraftKings Pick six app and
- 23:08Speaker 1: use the code Bobby Sports if you don't mind, because
- 23:10Speaker 1: that helps us. That would be awesome if you did

- 23:31Speaker 2: com slash promos.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I think you're gonna love coach Ron Rivera. I mentioned
- 23:40Speaker 1: this at the end, but Eddie and I ran into
- 23:42Speaker 1: him at Pebble Beach a couple of years ago. They
- 23:45Speaker 1: decided that I had just hit the threshold of being
- 23:47Speaker 1: famous enough to play in the Pebble Beach program. It
- 23:49Speaker 1: was a real highlight for me.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Nicely a big deal.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and by far as was the least fans person there,
- 23:53Speaker 1: but at least I was like, famous, you're there, yeah,
- 23:55Speaker 1: because they don't invite people don't. But I'm talking bottom
- 23:57Speaker 1: of the barrel. I'm scraping and that, but that's okay. Yeah,
- 24:01Speaker 1: And like the people that were there were like, uh,
- 24:05Speaker 1: Jason Bateman talked to him, hung out with him. I mean,
- 24:08Speaker 1: it was like super superstars and everybody was so nice.
- 24:10Speaker 1: It's kind of the rule there that if you're not
- 24:12Speaker 1: super nice and kind to everybody else that's playing there,
- 24:14Speaker 1: they don't invite you back. And I know about massive
- 24:16Speaker 1: stars that weren't to bite it back. So Eddie and
- 24:19Speaker 1: I are just walking around, yeah, and like it's not
- 24:23Speaker 1: really a clubhouse, but like an area where.
- 24:24Speaker 3: It would be the clubhouse. It was a tent, but
- 24:26Speaker 3: it would be the clubhouse.
- 24:27Speaker 1: And we see Ron Rivera and I'm like, that's all Rivera.
- 24:31Speaker 1: We should we should say hi because everybody's nice and
- 24:34Speaker 1: if everybody wasn't nice, I wouldn't And I was like, hey,
- 24:37Speaker 1: coach Rivera, I'm Bobby Zzetti.
- 24:39Speaker 3: He said, now it doesn't talk to husazing.
- 24:40Speaker 1: It was amazing, and I did not expect him to
- 24:42Speaker 1: remember it because we totally went up and ambushed him
- 24:45Speaker 1: and he was super cool about everything. But we bring
- 24:48Speaker 1: it up at the end of this interview.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Was he standing by himself? He was walking by himself, walking.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Himself again, and I had my Cowboys hat on, and
- 24:53Speaker 3: he was the coach for the Commanders at the time,
- 24:55Speaker 3: and he looks at me like, what are you doing?
- 24:58Speaker 3: Why you wearing that craft?
- 25:00Speaker 1: Here he has two time NFL Coach of the Year
- 25:02Speaker 1: and Super Bowl champion Ron Rivera coach. Rivera told a
- 25:04Speaker 1: story about how we got that nickname Riverboat Ron, his
- 25:07Speaker 1: ties to the military, upcoming Army Navy game much more
- 25:09Speaker 1: big thanks for coming on. It's awesome. You can watch
- 25:12Speaker 1: the Army Navy game this Saturday on CBS at three
- 25:15Speaker 1: pm Eastern. Here he is coach Ron Rivera. Hey, coach,
- 25:18Speaker 1: we really appreciate the time. We have friends that have
- 25:21Speaker 1: played against you and that have played for you in
- 25:24Speaker 1: different capacities, and they really liked you and said you
- 25:27Speaker 1: were a players to them. They defined you as a
- 25:29Speaker 1: players coach, which I would not think if I came
- 25:33Speaker 1: from a military background, I would be much of a
- 25:35Speaker 1: player's coach. How were you able to balance that where
- 25:37Speaker 1: you were such a disciplinarian but also the players still
- 25:39Speaker 1: really liked you.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Well, I think Bobby the biggest thing, more anything else,
- 25:43Speaker 6: was I played the game two. I had nine years
- 25:45Speaker 6: of NFL experience, played for the Chicago Bears on the
- 25:47Speaker 6: nineteen eighty five championship team, and I think that gives
- 25:51Speaker 6: me credibility. It didn't make me necessarily a better coach
- 25:54Speaker 6: than anybody else, but what it did was a gaming perspective.
- 25:58Speaker 6: I have a different perspective than a lot of people do,
- 26:00Speaker 6: and that is I've played the game, I've coached the game.
- 26:04Speaker 6: Now I'm doing some broadcast stuff. I may coach again,
- 26:07Speaker 6: but I have a perspective a lot of people don't have.
- 26:10Speaker 6: They don't look at it from a different set of
- 26:14Speaker 6: eyes like I do.
- 26:16Speaker 1: You may coach again. I'm not going to let that
- 26:18Speaker 1: nugget just swim by coach because there will be a
- 26:21Speaker 1: lot of positions that are open. Are you already starting
- 26:24Speaker 1: to get calls just gauging interest?
- 26:27Speaker 6: Well, I do know that. You know, I have an
- 26:30Speaker 6: agency that I'm working with, and they, for the most part,
- 26:33Speaker 6: are the ones handling it. I'm just kind of staying
- 26:34Speaker 6: low right now. You never really want to get it
- 26:37Speaker 6: out there until it's time and so we'll see what
- 26:39Speaker 6: happens at the end of the season. We'll go from there.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Did you do the Super Bowl Shuffle?
- 26:46Speaker 6: No, that's a great story. You know, they filmed the
- 26:50Speaker 6: Super Bowl Shuffle the day after we got beat by Miami.
- 26:55Speaker 6: It was our only loss that year. You know, we
- 26:57Speaker 6: finished the season, we were eighteen in them one but
- 27:00Speaker 6: our only loss was the Monday Night. Monday Night lost
- 27:03Speaker 6: to Miami in Miami, and it was a you know,
- 27:06Speaker 6: it was a heartbreak, it really was. But what happened
- 27:09Speaker 6: was on the flight home. See back back in the day,
- 27:12Speaker 6: Monday Night didn't start till nine pm because they wanted
- 27:15Speaker 6: the West coast to be able to watch it at
- 27:17Speaker 6: six pm. So you start the game at nine game
- 27:20Speaker 6: runs long. We don't finished the game till after midnight
- 27:23Speaker 6: on the East Coast. So typically after your game, you know,
- 27:27Speaker 6: you shower up, you head to the airport, and you
- 27:30Speaker 6: fly back. Well, we were flying back. Willie Gault was
- 27:32Speaker 6: part of the group that was putting together the Super
- 27:35Speaker 6: Bowl Shuffle, and he was going up and down the
- 27:37Speaker 6: aisles of the airplane trying to get guys to show up.
- 27:39Speaker 6: And if you really watch it, you'll notice that really
- 27:43Speaker 6: there's only about twenty four. Twenty five guys showed up
- 27:47Speaker 6: in person. Several guys didn't show up. I was one
- 27:50Speaker 6: of them, not that it mattered, but you know, Jim
- 27:53Speaker 6: McMahon didn't show Walter Payton wasn't there originally, Jim mcman,
- 27:59Speaker 6: William Perry. And so what they had to do with
- 28:01Speaker 6: those guys was they had to blue screen those guys in.
- 28:03Speaker 6: So if you really watch it, and you'll notice that
- 28:05Speaker 6: certain guys were blue screened in. And that was all.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Because, you know, we had just lost.
- 28:11Speaker 6: And it's not like, you know, you wanted to go
- 28:13Speaker 6: do something like that after a loss. But still, you know,
- 28:16Speaker 6: they had twenty seven guys show up. They did the
- 28:19Speaker 6: most of the of the filming that day, and then
- 28:21Speaker 6: they captured the guys they really needed later on.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Do you regret not showing up? Now?
- 28:25Speaker 6: I wish I had. That thing has gone cold and
- 28:29Speaker 6: platinum all the way on down, and it still lives today.
- 28:33Speaker 6: It still lives today, And you know that's the thing.
- 28:35Speaker 6: People understand that eighty five team was the first Rock
- 28:39Speaker 6: and Roll super Bowl. It was the twentieth anniversary of it.
- 28:43Speaker 6: It was one of those things that just you know,
- 28:46Speaker 6: it definitely does live on and on. It's crazy, but
- 28:48Speaker 6: that just shows you how iconic and how powerful that
- 28:51Speaker 6: team was.
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm going to talk about the Army Navy game in
- 28:54Speaker 1: a second with you because I know, again you're personally involved.
- 28:57Speaker 1: But before I get to that, we talked about coaching.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Would you coach college?
- 29:02Speaker 6: I'd consider it, but it have to be the right place,
- 29:04Speaker 6: the right fit. You know, my last four years coaching
- 29:07Speaker 6: in the NFL was very difficult, and and it was
- 29:10Speaker 6: a lot had to do with some of the stuff
- 29:12Speaker 6: that you know, really doesn't revolve around football itself. There
- 29:16Speaker 6: are a lot of outside things that I had to
- 29:18Speaker 6: work and work through for the team. But I really,
- 29:21Speaker 6: you know, loved the game. I loved coaching. I've never
- 29:25Speaker 6: been on the college level, so I'm not quite sure
- 29:27Speaker 6: what I would expect, so I really have to opportunity
- 29:30Speaker 6: came up. I really have to think about that. I
- 29:32Speaker 6: really would.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I got a couple of teams I'd like for you
- 29:34Speaker 1: to coach and let me know if that's a pretty
- 29:36Speaker 1: big boost during a couple of places of coach. We're
- 29:38Speaker 1: just to call away me and you we can do this.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I do want to talk about the Army Navy game
- 29:43Speaker 1: for a second, because your dad served the military, is
- 29:45Speaker 1: that true?
- 29:46Speaker 6: Yes, Yeah, my dad served thirty two years in United
- 29:48Speaker 6: States Army chief warrant officer. You know, our dad was
- 29:53Speaker 6: one of those, you know, lifers, and he just traveled
- 29:55Speaker 6: the world and brought the family with him. You know,
- 29:58Speaker 6: we were in Germany, we were in we were in
- 30:01Speaker 6: Fort Meade, Maryland. We're in Fort Lewis, Washington. But our
- 30:03Speaker 6: home base was always Ford or in California.
- 30:06Speaker 1: How do you feel like that affected you as a coach,
- 30:09Speaker 1: the discipline that he lived and taught you. How much
- 30:12Speaker 1: of that came through you to your players?
- 30:14Speaker 6: I think it came through a lot. One of the
- 30:16Speaker 6: biggest things you learned right after bat is chain of command.
- 30:19Speaker 6: You know, everything kind of is just structured from the
- 30:21Speaker 6: top and works its way down. And you also learned
- 30:25Speaker 6: a responsibility. One of the really cool lessons I learned
- 30:29Speaker 6: from my dad was when I first got the job
- 30:32Speaker 6: as the head coach of the Carolina Panthers. Dad and
- 30:35Speaker 6: I were talking and he never told me anything or
- 30:38Speaker 6: what to do or how to do things, anything like that,
- 30:40Speaker 6: but he did give me this one message I thought
- 30:42Speaker 6: was really cool. He and I were in the in
- 30:45Speaker 6: the garage of their house, and we were talking about it.
- 30:48Speaker 6: He said, Ronnie, I want you understand something. He said. Listen,
- 30:52Speaker 6: you're now in charge. You're now the man. He said,
- 30:54Speaker 6: understand this. But all hell's breaking loose. Right in the
- 30:57Speaker 6: middle of combat, and all hell is breaking loose. Murders
- 31:00Speaker 6: are landing, firing, you know, people are firing their weapons.
- 31:04Speaker 6: Guys are all over the place, screaming, yelling. Everybody turns
- 31:08Speaker 6: and looks at the commander if he's in control. If
- 31:11Speaker 6: he's in charge, everybody calms down and they work off
- 31:14Speaker 6: at him. He said, never forget that. If you're out
- 31:17Speaker 6: of control, your player will feed off of you and
- 31:19Speaker 6: they'll be out of control. If you're calm and cool
- 31:22Speaker 6: in the motor pool. That's one of his favorite sayings.
- 31:25Speaker 6: Calm and cool in the motorpool. Hey, they'll be calm,
- 31:28Speaker 6: they'll be cool. No play for you. And I never
- 31:30Speaker 6: forgot that little lesson he gave me.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Did you feel like like if there was a game
- 31:34Speaker 1: winning field goal or a miss field goal or a
- 31:36Speaker 1: big play, like you still need to remain calm because
- 31:40Speaker 1: people could see or even like somebody like hanging their
- 31:43Speaker 1: head like a quarterback hanging their head. Did you talk
- 31:45Speaker 1: to them about the same type of thing?
- 31:47Speaker 6: Absolutely? That was one of the things I try to
- 31:49Speaker 6: get across, especially the quarterback position or the middle linebackers. Guys, Hey,
- 31:53Speaker 6: everybody looks at you. Everybody feeds off your energy. You
- 31:55Speaker 6: drop them shoulders, they'll drop their shoulders. You can keep
- 31:58Speaker 6: that chest step high, they'll keep the chest up. Vile.
- 32:00Speaker 6: Just understand everybody is watching you and everybody around your
- 32:05Speaker 6: reflection of the way you handle things.
- 32:08Speaker 1: You're working with USAA, what is your relationship with them,
- 32:10Speaker 1: and why is this game so important?
- 32:12Speaker 6: Well? USA, I've been a member for over gosh since
- 32:17Speaker 6: nineteen eighty two, I believe it was. I've inherited from
- 32:21Speaker 6: my father and I've been a member ever since. They
- 32:23Speaker 6: handle all our family's insurances and stuff like that, and
- 32:27Speaker 6: what they've been involved in supporting the military because they
- 32:31Speaker 6: were started with the military in mind. Their history goes
- 32:34Speaker 6: back to a group of military officers got together and said,
- 32:37Speaker 6: you know, we need to be able to have insurance
- 32:40Speaker 6: that we can take with us, travel with us, transfer
- 32:42Speaker 6: with us, and then pass on to our kids. And
- 32:44Speaker 6: so they started USAA, and the whole thing behind it
- 32:47Speaker 6: is that it serves the military community. I've been very
- 32:51Speaker 6: fortunate to be involved with them. I was the NFL
- 32:54Speaker 6: Salutes to Service Award winner coming after the twenty twenty
- 32:58Speaker 6: two season, which was really a cool thing. And it's
- 33:02Speaker 6: also because you know, my father served and when we
- 33:05Speaker 6: were in when we were in Panama, the one thing
- 33:07Speaker 6: I remember is I remember the USO and how they
- 33:10Speaker 6: would travel all over the United States, all over the
- 33:13Speaker 6: world and you know, put on these events for for
- 33:15Speaker 6: for the military families, and just that was the first
- 33:18Speaker 6: time I ever saw anybody give back to the military,
- 33:21Speaker 6: and so it kind of touched me. And so as
- 33:23Speaker 6: I got older and got into the NFL, I got
- 33:26Speaker 6: involved in doing stuff for the military, being around them.
- 33:29Speaker 6: Then go to Charlotte, uh, you know, for the Carolina Panthers,
- 33:33Speaker 6: and come to find out that the USO was born
- 33:37Speaker 6: in North Carolina, and so my wife and I one
- 33:40Speaker 6: of the charities that we worked with, one of the
- 33:41Speaker 6: people that we helped fundraise for and do things for
- 33:45Speaker 6: was the USO of North Carolina Army.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Navy game is also just awesome. I'm glad it has
- 33:49Speaker 1: its own week Like it's just yes and you're going
- 33:52Speaker 1: to be at that game.
- 33:53Speaker 6: Yes, yes, you know. I was invited to be part
- 33:56Speaker 6: of some of the ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, and
- 33:59Speaker 6: so I most and we'll be there and it's just
- 34:02Speaker 6: an opportunity again to give back. It was kind of
- 34:04Speaker 6: neat because of some of the people that I've been around.
- 34:07Speaker 6: I got an opportunity to go to West Point last spring.
- 34:11Speaker 6: Me and Joe Torrey went there and we talked about leadership,
- 34:13Speaker 6: and we talked about dealing with the hostile media as well.
- 34:16Speaker 6: It was it was a lot of fun, and it
- 34:18Speaker 6: was really neat to be around the cadets and really
- 34:21Speaker 6: just you know, when you see these young men and women,
- 34:24Speaker 6: you feel very good about our country because you know
- 34:26Speaker 6: who these people are and they do really, truly do
- 34:29Speaker 6: represent the finest. And I can imagine it's the same
- 34:31Speaker 6: way the Naval Academy is the same way at the
- 34:34Speaker 6: Air Force Academy. I haven't had a chance to be
- 34:35Speaker 6: to those two places, but I will tell you if
- 34:37Speaker 6: there's anything like the like West Point weren't a very
- 34:41Speaker 6: good place as far as people in this world.
- 34:43Speaker 1: You have a Walter Payton jersey behind you, and I
- 34:45Speaker 1: would read stories about Walter Peyton and taking like the
- 34:48Speaker 1: soles of his shoes out so we could feel the
- 34:50Speaker 1: ground as you ran. Did you ever see that for yourself?
- 34:53Speaker 6: Yes, I did. You know. One of the things I
- 34:55Speaker 6: used to do, uh, And I did it, and I
- 34:57Speaker 6: kind of regretted it a little bit was I would
- 35:00Speaker 6: run that hill that he used to run with him
- 35:02Speaker 6: every now and then he would get me and say,
- 35:04Speaker 6: come on, Chico, we got to go run some hills.
- 35:06Speaker 6: So I would go run with them. And man, I'll
- 35:07Speaker 6: tell you what, that was one of the hardest things
- 35:09Speaker 6: I've ever done, just watching him work out, watching him
- 35:12Speaker 6: prepare for the season, and he did some of this
- 35:15Speaker 6: stuff in season as well. People don't realize that he
- 35:18Speaker 6: kept himself in tip top shape always.
- 35:21Speaker 1: He a different time obviously, But running backs, you know,
- 35:24Speaker 1: they ran hard, and they ran a lot, and one
- 35:26Speaker 1: back was the three down back, you know, and you
- 35:29Speaker 1: basically had one. Now, you know, they don't even want
- 35:32Speaker 1: backs getting hit a lot in college because they're like,
- 35:34Speaker 1: every time he gets hit, that's one less hit he
- 35:36Speaker 1: takes in the NFL, and you know he has no
- 35:39Speaker 1: you know, nothing on the tires. That wasn't the case
- 35:42Speaker 1: back then. And I would compare it to baseball on
- 35:44Speaker 1: pitchers now, where they put everybody on pitch counts, and
- 35:46Speaker 1: there weren't near as many arm injuries twenty five years
- 35:48Speaker 1: ago because people didn't didn't know possibly what they should
- 35:54Speaker 1: or shouldn't do. Do you feel like with running backs it's
- 35:56Speaker 1: the same as like a picture with pitch counts and
- 35:58Speaker 1: maybe we're a little too sensitive.
- 36:01Speaker 6: Absolutely. You bring up a great point about this, and
- 36:03Speaker 6: that is preparing to play sports today has become so
- 36:08Speaker 6: specialized that you know, if you're a baseball player, all
- 36:11Speaker 6: you ever do is play baseball, and you play year round.
- 36:13Speaker 6: If you're a football player, all you do is get
- 36:15Speaker 6: ready for football. You played all year round when we
- 36:16Speaker 6: were kids, and I know when you're you know, you're
- 36:18Speaker 6: a lot younger me, but I know you probably played
- 36:21Speaker 6: all the sports because I grew up playing football, basketball, baseball, tennis, racquetball, swimming.
- 36:25Speaker 6: I mean, we did everything. We crossed trained and then
- 36:29Speaker 6: when I got into the end, I went through college
- 36:31Speaker 6: football and then got in the NFL. We had two
- 36:33Speaker 6: a days and we had two days in pass and
- 36:34Speaker 6: two a day's in pass lasted for two solid weeks.
- 36:37Speaker 6: Every day the same thing every day. They hitting the grind.
- 36:42Speaker 6: I think what happened for us a lot of us,
- 36:44Speaker 6: we built up the callousness to the game. You know
- 36:46Speaker 6: what I'm saying. We understood the difference between being injured
- 36:50Speaker 6: and being hurt. You know, there's a huge difference. And
- 36:54Speaker 6: you know, when you're hurting, you're so okay one thing.
- 36:56Speaker 6: But man, when you're injured, that's that's when you do
- 36:59Speaker 6: have to take the time off. That's when you do
- 37:01Speaker 6: have to go through rehab and get yourself ready to
- 37:02Speaker 6: go again. When you're hurt, it's now about maintaining your
- 37:05Speaker 6: body and taking care of it. Today. You know, the kids,
- 37:08Speaker 6: they don't cross train the way that we did back
- 37:11Speaker 6: in the day. They do have these pitch counts, they
- 37:14Speaker 6: do have these hit counts. You know, they watch the
- 37:17Speaker 6: way they practice. You have guys that now they wear
- 37:19Speaker 6: the GPS stuff and based on what the GPS tells you,
- 37:22Speaker 6: you know, he's traveled x amount of yards, he's using
- 37:26Speaker 6: x amount of force to run. We need to back
- 37:29Speaker 6: him up. And I think because of that, we have
- 37:33Speaker 6: not built the callousness we need to play these games
- 37:36Speaker 6: today in our young people.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I want to ask you about Carolina for a second,
- 37:40Speaker 1: because you were gone before it seemingly turned bad and
- 37:44Speaker 1: it's bad, and it's I mean, there are from Baker
- 37:47Speaker 1: to and we can go even Baker talking this past
- 37:50Speaker 1: week to Bryce Young on the field and you kind
- 37:53Speaker 1: of read their lips a little bit and it's not
- 37:56Speaker 1: you were there. And I think David Tepper is the
- 37:58Speaker 1: one that came in when you were coaching the team.
- 38:00Speaker 1: And you know, it doesn't seem to me from ten
- 38:02Speaker 1: thousand feet up that he's running an organization there that
- 38:05Speaker 1: is doing anything productive at all. What is happening in Carolina.
- 38:09Speaker 6: I think the biggest thing, more anything else, is mister
- 38:11Speaker 6: Chepper's learning and he's growing with his organization. You know,
- 38:15Speaker 6: I was fortunate I was with Jerry Richardson. Mister Richardson
- 38:19Speaker 6: played back in the day. He played for the for
- 38:21Speaker 6: the Baltimore Colts when they were the Colts, played on
- 38:23Speaker 6: their on their championship team, and then went from the
- 38:25Speaker 6: championship team and started his life in business. He becomes
- 38:29Speaker 6: the owner and as he went through it, he grew
- 38:32Speaker 6: and developed, you know, his culture the way he wanted it.
- 38:35Speaker 6: I think what you're going through right now in Carolina
- 38:37Speaker 6: is the same thing as that growth and learning to
- 38:40Speaker 6: develop and have a culture. What I will say is
- 38:43Speaker 6: I do like who they have now as their head coach.
- 38:44Speaker 6: I think Dave Canelson is one of the really good, young,
- 38:47Speaker 6: fine minds in the NFL. He's a good offensive mind.
- 38:50Speaker 6: He's done a great job. I think this year one
- 38:52Speaker 6: of the things he had to do is he benched
- 38:54Speaker 6: Bryce youelling at the beginning of the season, and now
- 38:57Speaker 6: Bryce he's come back and he's had an opportunity to play.
- 38:59Speaker 6: He's playing pretty dog gone well. I think that was
- 39:01Speaker 6: one of the really good moves this year that coaches
- 39:04Speaker 6: have made. I really do. I think taking Bryce, setting
- 39:07Speaker 6: him down, giving him a chance to watch Andy Dalton,
- 39:09Speaker 6: who's a very veteran guy. He watched Andy, he worked
- 39:12Speaker 6: with Andy, and he was terrific with the young man too.
- 39:14Speaker 6: And I think what you're seeing now as the results
- 39:16Speaker 6: of a kid giving me a chance to take a
- 39:18Speaker 6: step back watch how it's done, work with the guy
- 39:21Speaker 6: that's done it before. And at the same time, I
- 39:23Speaker 6: think coach Canalis also has figured out some of the
- 39:26Speaker 6: better plays to use for the young man. You're starting
- 39:28Speaker 6: to see some growth in that player, and I think
- 39:31Speaker 6: you're seeing a little bit of growth in that team.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Especially on the field, he looks great, like he again
- 39:35Speaker 1: even this last week. Then they lost the game that's
- 39:37Speaker 1: fumbled him, but you know, threw for almost three hundred
- 39:39Speaker 1: and two touchdowns. That's like three games in a row
- 39:41Speaker 1: where you know, he's not going to be extremely dynamic
- 39:44Speaker 1: all the time because he doesn't have the weapons. But man,
- 39:46Speaker 1: he looks good and at times dynamic, and I think
- 39:48Speaker 1: that's what they're looking for right absolutely.
- 39:51Speaker 6: And the thing that's really interesting too is you see
- 39:52Speaker 6: some of the stuff that Dave Canalis is doing. You know,
- 39:55Speaker 6: Dave was in Seattle with Russell Wilson, who wasn't a
- 39:57Speaker 6: very big guy. Now he was. Russell's a little dorm stout,
- 40:02Speaker 6: you know, then he is. I think what you're gonna
- 40:05Speaker 6: see is you're gonna see a little bit more of
- 40:07Speaker 6: what they used to do in Seattle being implemented in
- 40:10Speaker 6: the offense that they use. You know, I think Sean
- 40:13Speaker 6: Payton's done a tremendous job where he is with bo Nix,
- 40:15Speaker 6: but he also did a tremendous job with Drew Brees.
- 40:18Speaker 6: Drew is a shorter guy as well, but what he
- 40:20Speaker 6: did was he made sure he had an offensive line
- 40:22Speaker 6: that was very stout up front. His two guards and
- 40:25Speaker 6: center were really stout. There was no push, no penetration,
- 40:28Speaker 6: which allowed Drew to take this drop and then step
- 40:30Speaker 6: in and drive the ball. Gave him a chance to
- 40:32Speaker 6: see through the passing length because they made sure they
- 40:35Speaker 6: had the right kind of players around him, and that
- 40:37Speaker 6: truly has helped him an awful lot. So to me,
- 40:40Speaker 6: I start watching, you know, Carolina, and I'm seeing what
- 40:42Speaker 6: Dave can Allison is doing and what he's trying to
- 40:44Speaker 6: implement on the offense, and I go, Wow, this dude's
- 40:47Speaker 6: doing a hell of a job. So I really do
- 40:48Speaker 6: think he's one of the really good young minds right now.
- 40:50Speaker 1: In the NFL four final questions for you, I felt
- 40:53Speaker 1: like when you went into Washington, and again this is
- 40:55Speaker 1: me from ten thousand feet up, and I know you
- 40:57Speaker 1: look at me and you're like, you probably played linebacker.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I didn't coach, I didn't play NFL. I know I
- 41:01Speaker 1: loved intimidating, but I felt like that that institution with
- 41:06Speaker 1: Dan Snyder was in such disarray they wanted to bring
- 41:09Speaker 1: someone in that could kind of refocus the entire from
- 41:13Speaker 1: all the way up as far as you can reach
- 41:15Speaker 1: to all the way down to personnel. Did you feel
- 41:18Speaker 1: that that was your job when you went in there?
- 41:20Speaker 1: Did you feel like when what was the ceiling you
- 41:22Speaker 1: thought when you went into Washington.
- 41:24Speaker 6: Well, I thought there was a lot of potential because
- 41:26Speaker 6: a lot of people forget We came in and we wanted
- 41:27Speaker 6: the division our first year, you know, in spite of
- 41:30Speaker 6: the fact it wasn't a good division, but we wanted.
- 41:33Speaker 6: But going forward, there were so many things that we
- 41:35Speaker 6: had to deal with, so many things that were off,
- 41:38Speaker 6: you know, outside the realm of football that we had
- 41:41Speaker 6: to deal with and try and get corrected. You know,
- 41:43Speaker 6: one thing that happened to is, you know, my personal
- 41:46Speaker 6: battle with cancer. You know, I was diagnosed with cancer
- 41:48Speaker 6: just before training camp started my first year there, and
- 41:51Speaker 6: you know, that was part of what I had to
- 41:52Speaker 6: deal with for the first couple of months in the season.
- 41:55Speaker 6: But once we got past that and you could see
- 41:56Speaker 6: the guys starting to come together started to play. It
- 42:00Speaker 6: also helped me make me really truly realize was how
- 42:02Speaker 6: important having a quarterback is. You know, my first seven
- 42:05Speaker 6: years in Carolina had Cam Newton, who was about as
- 42:07Speaker 6: good as anybody at the time, took us to a
- 42:09Speaker 6: Super Bowl we had four. We were the first team
- 42:12Speaker 6: in that division to win three straight division championships. I mean,
- 42:15Speaker 6: when you have a guy like that, and that guy
- 42:17Speaker 6: is your guy, it gives you every opportunity to be successful.
- 42:21Speaker 6: You go around and look and look throughout the league.
- 42:24Speaker 6: Coaches that have had that have been very, very productive.
- 42:28Speaker 6: Andy Reid, you know, he had Donovan McNabb initially when
- 42:31Speaker 6: he starts in Philadelphia. Then he comes out and he's
- 42:33Speaker 6: got Patrick mahons arguing one of the best. Sean McDermott
- 42:36Speaker 6: doing what he's doing up in Buffalo. I mean, that's
- 42:38Speaker 6: another great uh, you know, with Josh Allen. That just
- 42:40Speaker 6: shows you how important it is. But sometimes when you're
- 42:43Speaker 6: looking for that guy constantly, and that's what we did,
- 42:46Speaker 6: you know, my whole four years in Washington, we constantly
- 42:49Speaker 6: looked for a guy that could help carry the team,
- 42:52Speaker 6: and when you don't have that guy, you struggle. Now
- 42:55Speaker 6: they got Jayden Daniels, and I'm telling you, I think
- 42:57Speaker 6: what dan Quinn's doing there was really great, some really
- 42:59Speaker 6: good things with that young man and that team. So
- 43:02Speaker 6: it's been kind of neat to watch what's been going
- 43:04Speaker 6: on in the NFL this year.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Three questions left. When it comes to quarterbacks, we're seeing
- 43:08Speaker 1: so much. It matters where you land, who's coaching you,
- 43:11Speaker 1: what system you're in, right, because you can draft quarterback
- 43:14Speaker 1: that just doesn't match the system. Who is a quarterback
- 43:16Speaker 1: you think was just not in the right place, but
- 43:19Speaker 1: probably had so much potential, but because of possibly where
- 43:22Speaker 1: he was drafted in the system he was put into,
- 43:24Speaker 1: was not able to reach his full potential.
- 43:28Speaker 6: I think Sam Darnold, I mean, right now, when you
- 43:30Speaker 6: see what's going on in Minnesota, Kevin Connell has done
- 43:33Speaker 6: a great job. He has re established who that young
- 43:35Speaker 6: man should be as a quarterback in the NFL. This guy,
- 43:38Speaker 6: a really solid college career, starts off in the NFL
- 43:42Speaker 6: with the Jets, I believe, struggle, struggled mildly, didn't seem
- 43:45Speaker 6: to fit the system, bounced around for a few years.
- 43:47Speaker 6: Then all of a sudden, he goes up to Minnesota
- 43:49Speaker 6: and look what's happened. Look how he's playing with confidence.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Look how he's got that team right in the middle
- 43:54Speaker 6: of the playoff run. I mean, I think that's a
- 43:56Speaker 6: great example of a guy being put in a great system.
- 43:59Speaker 6: You can say the same anything for Baker Mayfield. Boast
- 44:01Speaker 6: around his first few years. Now, all of a sudden
- 44:03Speaker 6: he ended up in Tampa Bay in the system that
- 44:05Speaker 6: really seems to fit him. And look how he's played.
- 44:08Speaker 6: He's played well and he's really truly leading that team
- 44:10Speaker 6: right now.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I was going through some data. It looks like he
- 44:12Speaker 1: scored one touchdown, you know, but you are really a
- 44:15Speaker 1: touchdown guy played defense?
- 44:17Speaker 4: Do you have the ball? Did you keep the ball?
- 44:19Speaker 6: Oh, without a doubt, I scored the touchdown. I spiked
- 44:24Speaker 6: the ball, and then I realized, what the hell are
- 44:26Speaker 6: you doing? I went and chased it down and grabbed it,
- 44:28Speaker 6: took it from the ball boy, and walked back to
- 44:30Speaker 6: the sideline with it.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's good. Final question whenever the nickname Riverboat Ron
- 44:34Speaker 1: came about, and obviously it's you know, I feel like
- 44:38Speaker 1: it was in Carolina when I heard it first, did
- 44:41Speaker 1: you feel like you were a guy that did push
- 44:43Speaker 1: the limits or were you just being you? Like I
- 44:46Speaker 1: don't know, Like I know when I go to the
- 44:47Speaker 1: casino sometimes I'm like, I'm going hard, I'm gonna be
- 44:50Speaker 1: a little more. Did you feel like you were a
- 44:51Speaker 1: gambler or were you just playing what you felt?
- 44:53Speaker 6: I was playing what I felt. But this is what's
- 44:55Speaker 6: interesting now. River about Ron came about because of John matt. Okay,
- 45:00Speaker 6: after my second year in Carolina, I had this crazy
- 45:03Speaker 6: record of being three and thirteen the games decided by
- 45:06Speaker 6: one score or less. And at the end of the year,
- 45:09Speaker 6: like I did my first year, my second year, I
- 45:11Speaker 6: sit down with the owner, Jery Richardson, and we talked
- 45:13Speaker 6: about what just happened, how the season went, and what
- 45:16Speaker 6: needed to happen to go forward. And one of the
- 45:18Speaker 6: things I said to mister Richardson, I said, you know,
- 45:21Speaker 6: I really think I need a mentor, and i'd like
- 45:23Speaker 6: to have your permission to reach out and find a mentor.
- 45:26Speaker 6: And he kind of starts to chuckle with him, and
- 45:27Speaker 6: he goes, I want you to take a look at
- 45:29Speaker 6: this index card. He slides this index card across to me,
- 45:32Speaker 6: and there's a phone number on it, and under the
- 45:34Speaker 6: phone number, the name is John Madden. I started laughing.
- 45:39Speaker 6: I said, mister richard that's who I was going to
- 45:40Speaker 6: ask for permission to call. I want to talk to.
- 45:43Speaker 6: I wanted to talk to coach Madden. And you know,
- 45:45Speaker 6: sure enough, mister Richardson looks at me and goes, he's
- 45:47Speaker 6: expecting your call. So I calls coach Madden. We start
- 45:51Speaker 6: talking about it, and one of the things that he
- 45:53Speaker 6: said to me says, hey, I understand you three and
- 45:56Speaker 6: thirteen by games, you know, decided by a score less.
- 46:00Speaker 6: You go back and look and see if there's something
- 46:01Speaker 6: different you could have done.
- 46:03Speaker 9: Well.
- 46:03Speaker 6: I took that that, Oh, hey, you need to do
- 46:05Speaker 6: a report. So I went back, I looked at those games.
- 46:07Speaker 6: I wrote this twenty page report about, you know, things
- 46:10Speaker 6: that happened in the game, how I could have done
- 46:11Speaker 6: things differently. So I go out, I visit with him.
- 46:14Speaker 6: I go to his pleasant in California where his home office is,
- 46:17Speaker 6: go into his office and it's like, oh my god,
- 46:19Speaker 6: it was like the Hall of That was like the
- 46:21Speaker 6: Raiders Hall of Fame. Everything he had was all about
- 46:23Speaker 6: the Raids. It was. It was really a neat place
- 46:25Speaker 6: to be. It really was. And we had a great conversation.
- 46:28Speaker 6: We're talking and finally I said and said, well I
- 46:29Speaker 6: have that. I have that report that you wanted me
- 46:31Speaker 6: to to do.
- 46:33Speaker 4: Hey, that was like my house. Sounds like my house, coach, Yeah,
- 46:37Speaker 4: oh yeah, Well.
- 46:38Speaker 6: She wants to go out and chase squirls and she's
- 46:40Speaker 6: kind of pissed off at me right now, give me
- 46:42Speaker 6: a minute, please, Okay, we'll be right. Come here, I'm here,
- 46:47Speaker 6: Come here. Good. So anyways, so he says to me, said,
- 46:52Speaker 6: what did you learn? I said, well, you know I learned.
- 46:53Speaker 6: I I kicked here and I punted there. And what
- 46:56Speaker 6: it made me realize is I was doing what was safe. Okay,
- 47:00Speaker 6: when I should have gone Ford on fourd down, get
- 47:03Speaker 6: the first down in the game, I didn't. And so
- 47:06Speaker 6: he made me realize I needed to start thinking through it.
- 47:08Speaker 6: And he says to me, he says, Ron, you've played
- 47:10Speaker 6: it up. You've coached us to know certain situations dictate
- 47:13Speaker 6: you take a chance. And that's when I learned. So
- 47:17Speaker 6: fast forward get into my third season. We're playing Minnesota.
- 47:20Speaker 6: In Minnesota and opening series, I go for it twice
- 47:24Speaker 6: on fourth down. In fact, we score on a fourth
- 47:27Speaker 6: and three on a shovel pass. Okay, on a shovel pass,
- 47:31Speaker 6: we scored. I did it again later in the game.
- 47:33Speaker 6: I went forward and fourth down, get the first down.
- 47:35Speaker 6: So after the game, they go up to the fans.
- 47:37Speaker 6: They started saying, boy, coach Rivera, what do you think
- 47:39Speaker 6: about him? You know, going for it on fourth down?
- 47:40Speaker 6: And oh, that's great. It's cool. Finally get this lune actas,
- 47:43Speaker 6: what do you think Coach Rivera going for it on
- 47:44Speaker 6: fourth down? He goes, oh my god, you can't. Oh,
- 47:46Speaker 6: Coach Rivera's out there like a riverboat dangrol. I'll tell
- 47:48Speaker 6: you that old riverboat rod. That was something else. And
- 47:51Speaker 6: that's how it started.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Doug coach. We really appreciate the time. And this is
- 47:55Speaker 1: not a question but just a very quick story that
- 47:57Speaker 1: I am happy to share a lot of times. But
- 47:59Speaker 1: a couple years ago before they limited the field because
- 48:01Speaker 1: actually they limited it, but I played in the Pebble
- 48:03Speaker 1: Beach Pro am and I was very excited because it
- 48:05Speaker 1: was the first time that they thought I was famous.
- 48:07Speaker 1: So I was like, this is cool. So I went
- 48:09Speaker 1: out and got to play and it was very brief,
- 48:12Speaker 1: but I saw you and you were there this a
- 48:14Speaker 1: couple of years ago, and I was like, I don't
- 48:16Speaker 1: want to go bother Coach Rivera, but I've always been
- 48:18Speaker 1: a massive fan of you and just your story and
- 48:22Speaker 1: sharing your story. And I said, hey, Coach Rivera, and
- 48:25Speaker 1: you sat and talked to me and my friend Eddie
- 48:27Speaker 1: for like ten minutes, and it was like nobody else
- 48:30Speaker 1: was in the room. And I tell people this story
- 48:32Speaker 1: all the time, and to be able to tell you
- 48:33Speaker 1: this back that you just like focused and talked football
- 48:36Speaker 1: to people that probably you didn't know if we knew
- 48:39Speaker 1: football or soccer, but you were so kind to us
- 48:42Speaker 1: for no reason whatsoever. And I just want to personally
- 48:45Speaker 1: say thank you for that ten minutes or so. That's
- 48:47Speaker 1: meant the world. And I just appreciate you today and congrats,
- 48:51Speaker 1: and I can't wait for you to coach again, because
- 48:54Speaker 1: whatever that is, I'll be rooting for you.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Coach.
- 48:56Speaker 6: I appreciate it, but I mean thanks for having me
- 48:58Speaker 6: on and again, just so you know, looking forward to
- 48:59Speaker 6: the Army Navy Game. Appreciate the association I have with.
- 49:03Speaker 1: USA USA sponsored games since two thousand and nine. Army
- 49:06Speaker 1: Navy Game December fourteenth, Coach Ron Rivera, Thanks coach, have
- 49:09Speaker 1: a great day.
- 49:10Speaker 6: All right, Thanks Bobby Sea coach.
- 49:12Speaker 1: All right, I'm up with the board now. You guys
- 49:13Speaker 1: can watch this on YouTube, but I wa have the
- 49:14Speaker 1: bracket up ahead of me, and so here is who's
- 49:17Speaker 1: going to be your national championship, which, by the way,
- 49:20Speaker 1: Penn State got the luckiest straw in the history of draws.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Let's just say Penn State didn't even win. Now, they
- 49:26Speaker 1: didn't get a bye, but they got the luckiest draw ever.
- 49:28Speaker 1: We're gonna start down here with Texas and Clemson. So
- 49:32Speaker 1: down here we got Texas and Clemson. These is.
- 49:34Speaker 4: I hate orange. I don't like any orange team.
- 49:37Speaker 3: And they're all grouped together for you.
- 49:39Speaker 1: You know, Texas Clemson. I wish they would just eliminate
- 49:43Speaker 1: the color orange. Maybe a big hole happens and they
- 49:46Speaker 1: both get sucked in. I don't want anybody to die.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I want everybody to live a happy and fruitful life.
- 49:51Speaker 1: But let's let's cancel football once the hole's in and
- 49:54Speaker 1: these two teams are now gone. But that being said,
- 49:56Speaker 1: we're gonna have. It's gonna hurt. It's gonna pain for
- 49:59Speaker 1: me to say this money just saying the band Texas
- 50:02Speaker 1: will be moving on because Clemson kind of sucks. And
- 50:05Speaker 1: here's the thing about Clemson, they're the only team to
- 50:08Speaker 1: like big time Me like Dado's big time Me like
- 50:11Speaker 1: four times to be interviewed every time. He's a little
- 50:13Speaker 1: too cool to come on the show. So of the
- 50:16Speaker 1: two oranges, I hate I hate Texas more, but Dado's
- 50:21Speaker 1: big Time me personally.
- 50:22Speaker 4: So we're going Texas to the next round.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Go to the next round. Okay, well we got more orange.
- 50:29Speaker 1: We got Tennessee at Ohio State.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Kevin's orange.
- 50:33Speaker 4: Yep, boom, big fan.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Here's the thing, don't do it. I don't hate that
- 50:38Speaker 1: orange as much as I hate the other two oranges.
- 50:41Speaker 1: I kind of dislike the orange because, well, I live here,
- 50:44Speaker 1: and I just get annoyed. You get annoyed when the
- 50:47Speaker 1: team around you wins whenever they playing the same conference
- 50:49Speaker 1: that you do. Now, Ohio State, I've heard people say
- 50:52Speaker 1: that maybe they should not play and they're going to
- 50:55Speaker 1: in Ohio State because if they go three and out,
- 50:58Speaker 1: bad start, it's going to be some boober boo birds.
- 51:01Speaker 1: But I do think Tennessee will be overwhelmed by the
- 51:04Speaker 1: fact that Ohio State just has bigger, better athletes. I
- 51:07Speaker 1: think Ohio State's coming out with something to prove. Ohio
- 51:09Speaker 1: State takes the third orange team down, Ohio State moves
- 51:13Speaker 1: to the next round. Thank you.
- 51:15Speaker 4: I can't get behind that.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Sorry you don't, Well, you don't have to get behind that.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Then asking you to get behind that. Actually, all right,
- 51:21Speaker 1: we're moving over here to the other side. Now up here,
- 51:24Speaker 1: we have Indiana and Notre Dame. This is not is
- 51:28Speaker 1: not a game.
- 51:29Speaker 3: What do you mean it's it's a game. Now they're
- 51:31Speaker 3: going to play.
- 51:32Speaker 1: This is not a game. Notre Dame is going to
- 51:37Speaker 1: as Akon said, smack that smack that give me some more.
- 51:43Speaker 1: It is and I like Indiana. I've been rooting for
- 51:45Speaker 1: Indiana all year. I think Signetti going why don't we
- 51:48Speaker 1: get a home game is a bit ridiculous, like you
- 51:51Speaker 1: should have gotten the playoff. I agree, but play somebody
- 51:54Speaker 1: if you're gonna complain about not getting a home team
- 51:56Speaker 1: home team. Notre Dame. We liked it for two reasons.
- 51:59Speaker 1: One because well they came on our show. They did
- 52:02Speaker 1: not big big dog, that's right. And I think they
- 52:06Speaker 1: just they just they just have more.
- 52:08Speaker 9: Uh.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Let's go over to s m U and Penn State.
- 52:12Speaker 1: You know what is this a game? It's not a game.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Checking The bad thing about it is for Penn State,
- 52:20Speaker 1: this is a noon game. They gotta play another noon game.
- 52:23Speaker 1: That sucks. It's not even a it's not even like
- 52:24Speaker 1: the Big Fox noon game. That's kind of what they
- 52:27Speaker 1: do though, Right, Well, they're gonna play this.
- 52:28Speaker 4: One on like T N T.
- 52:31Speaker 9: T.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's impractical jokers. And then this game, but you're
- 52:38Speaker 1: gonna see Penn State kind of walk the dog, or
- 52:41Speaker 1: shall I say show walk the ponies. Penn State, who
- 52:47Speaker 1: I have just semi believed in, and they've been known
- 52:49Speaker 1: not to win the big game, and they did not
- 52:50Speaker 1: win the big game, by the way against Oregon, but
- 52:52Speaker 1: they didn't play again. But this is only a mid
- 52:57Speaker 1: game and they're gonna win the game. All right, bo
- 52:59Speaker 1: let's go back over here. Okay, we're gonna go here.
- 53:02Speaker 1: We'll go down here. First, we have Texas at Arizona State.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Here's the thing about Arizona State that's weird to me.
- 53:06Speaker 1: There's a little too much orange in them.
- 53:09Speaker 3: It's tough.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I'm anti orange. But they have a coach that's thirteen
- 53:12Speaker 1: years old, and that's pretty cool to me. To have
- 53:15Speaker 1: a coach that's in like seventh grade, that's super cool.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Has he been on our show?
- 53:19Speaker 3: No?
- 53:19Speaker 4: No, I like him, though I like him, said, he's
- 53:22Speaker 4: turned us down.
- 53:22Speaker 3: He just hasn't been on our show.
- 53:23Speaker 1: I think he's in school. I think he was in school. No,
- 53:26Speaker 1: I think he's like thirty six years old. And Kenny's
- 53:28Speaker 1: like thirty six years old. Arizona State looked really good.
- 53:32Speaker 1: It's gonna hurt. This is gonna hurt This is gonna
- 53:34Speaker 1: hurt me more than it's just gonna hurt me more
- 53:36Speaker 1: than the way than you guys. Texas is gonna win
- 53:38Speaker 1: this game, Arizona State with a heck of a run
- 53:42Speaker 1: so far. I think this guy would be closer than
- 53:46Speaker 1: most people think. But I'm gonna go. And it's not
- 53:49Speaker 1: in Texas, right, This is an actual bowl game. This
- 53:51Speaker 1: is the This is called the Orange Orange Bowl too?
- 53:54Speaker 3: Is it Orange Bowl too?
- 53:56Speaker 6: Peach Bowl?
- 53:56Speaker 3: It should be the Orange Bowl.
- 53:57Speaker 1: The Orange is orange teams, orange team. And all right,
- 54:00Speaker 1: so we got Texas over here, moving on, all right?
- 54:02Speaker 1: Up here on the top side, it's Ohio State Oregon.
- 54:05Speaker 3: Hey man, this is a game.
- 54:07Speaker 4: This is like the game.
- 54:08Speaker 5: How did Oregon get the worst draw?
- 54:09Speaker 4: I know they got the Bible, they got.
- 54:12Speaker 5: The worst draw.
- 54:12Speaker 1: They're gonna play Ohio State again, which they barely beat
- 54:14Speaker 1: at the end of the game at home.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Number one overall seed and you get that.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that sucks. I would blame that on Ohio State.
- 54:22Speaker 1: They're losing in Michigan. It's not the reason why they're
- 54:25Speaker 1: that low. Yeah, so uh Oregon is the best team
- 54:29Speaker 1: in college football.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, who are you going to pick?
- 54:32Speaker 5: Here?
- 54:34Speaker 1: Ohio State, I think is the most talented team in
- 54:37Speaker 1: college football.
- 54:40Speaker 3: The world famous Ohio State.
- 54:43Speaker 1: No, the Ohio State.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Now they say the world famous. Now, I don't know
- 54:47Speaker 3: what that means.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I think you're thinking of that fair back in New
- 54:50Speaker 1: York in like the nineteen twenties.
- 54:53Speaker 3: Yeah, KFC, ye, that's it.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Yeah, So up here, Ohio State, Oregon. We're going with
- 54:59Speaker 1: the big oh face. Okay, we're going back to the
- 55:05Speaker 1: side over here.
- 55:06Speaker 3: That's Kevin's team, West Coast.
- 55:08Speaker 1: You have too many teams, You're all right. We got
- 55:11Speaker 1: Penn State and we got Boise. Uh, it's just it's
- 55:14Speaker 1: another lion eating a pony the end. Yeah, Yeah, Penn
- 55:19Speaker 1: State eats the pony. Penn State's got a good run.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Penn State's gonna eat boys. I'm not saying I don't
- 55:24Speaker 1: root for them. This is not Bobby's picks of what
- 55:26Speaker 1: he dreams and desires. Because you were the punting assistant
- 55:30Speaker 1: coach at a junior high school, then you've got three
- 55:34Speaker 1: players and the boys long snapping coach, Kevin assistant coaches
- 55:38Speaker 1: and the Boise players we got the Niitney Lions. They're
- 55:40Speaker 1: gonna eat more horses, they're gonna get in the Semis
- 55:44Speaker 1: an upset.
- 55:45Speaker 3: I guess they all come. But I mean, seriously, I
- 55:48Speaker 3: think the.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Fact that Penn State's got to play a week before,
- 55:53Speaker 1: I mean, there's symmetrician that could be possible with the players.
- 55:56Speaker 1: There's always that risk of uh being tired of being injured.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Sure could it okay, but Bois should not have gotten
- 56:03Speaker 1: a by The rules were weird. We can't do them anymore.
- 56:06Speaker 1: We used to give the first four teams. Penn State
- 56:08Speaker 1: goes the end. We got Georgia and Notre Dame. I
- 56:12Speaker 1: think we all know.
- 56:14Speaker 4: I got one and that's.
- 56:16Speaker 1: A bulldog Georgia. Bulldog's sec Oh, A lot of hisses,
- 56:23Speaker 1: A lot of hisses.
- 56:24Speaker 3: Irish man.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Well you guys don't have the green screens.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Hey, Wor's now you're up on the screen.
- 56:30Speaker 1: All right, fine, up two here, up on the old board.
- 56:33Speaker 1: We got Oregon and we got Texas. This is going
- 56:37Speaker 1: to be a absolute disaster. This might be the ugliest
- 56:41Speaker 1: game of the Semis. Texas might actually fold their football
- 56:45Speaker 1: program after this game, even though it's the Semis. So
- 56:49Speaker 1: Oregon Spanky Spanky Championship game over. On this side, we
- 56:54Speaker 1: got Georgia and we got Penn State.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Georgias of course.
- 57:02Speaker 1: In the middle here boom, here are the final two teams.
- 57:06Speaker 1: It's Georgia and Oregon. And now I have a heavy
- 57:08Speaker 1: SEC bias, I will admit.
- 57:09Speaker 4: That, but but but come on, big fan of.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Big Fantas show. I do occasionally text with Dan Lanning
- 57:21Speaker 1: you everyone play? Now do I want to pick with
- 57:23Speaker 1: my heart or my head?
- 57:28Speaker 3: You want to that stuff? I don't know. Head, Let's
- 57:32Speaker 3: go ahead, which top head?
- 57:35Speaker 1: Cophead?
- 57:38Speaker 3: I knew he was going there.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Your answer is Georgia is second, Oregon wins. Yes, go Nucks,
- 57:51Speaker 1: And I'm not saying that. And it sucks to pick
- 57:54Speaker 1: the number one overall. See, it's such a lame thing
- 57:56Speaker 1: to do. But after watching them more and more, they
- 57:59Speaker 1: have a eleven options every play, Dylan Gabriel is awesome.
- 58:04Speaker 1: And then here are your national championships. The Oregon Ducks
- 58:07Speaker 1: who held up my face on a sign for like
- 58:10Speaker 1: four games, we can't still say what formation what they're
- 58:14Speaker 1: running there till after the season.
- 58:15Speaker 3: They did on TV mention that Oregon had a special play,
- 58:19Speaker 3: and I thought they were talking about yours.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Mine's not a play. I can't say much more. Mine
- 58:24Speaker 1: is more of a set. When they say get the boners,
- 58:29Speaker 1: everybody with the boner goes out. I got yes, it
- 58:33Speaker 1: doesn't matter. Anybody with a boner runs out. It gets in.
- 58:39Speaker 1: There is the Bobby Brackett. Thank you very much. We
- 58:42Speaker 1: will see how it does.

- 59:57Speaker 1: On with us Now my friend Zach from dorm Dudes,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: which we do breaking of memorabilia at dorm Dudes breaks
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: on TikTok like that's how we know each other. But
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: we've hung out a lot, He's traveled with us. Zach's
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: a big sports fan, and Zach loves to bet like
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: we do, but for fun entertainment purposes only, right.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Zach, of course that's right?
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Yes, How freely can I talk about your.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: Bets as freely as you want?
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: So I would say Zach is a guy that in business,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: very smart, conservative but strategic, meaning he's not throwing a
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: bunch of money out too. So it's not like Zach
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: is like this guy that's like I just got to
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: throw money into gamble all the time. That's just not
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: a thing he'd likes to gamp. We all do, but
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: none of us are like degenerative where we're just like
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: we must get our bets in. So Zach's same way,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: like very intelligent guy. I want to talk about who
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: knows this story in the room. I know it, Okay,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I do, And it's crazy, Okay, I don't you don't
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Kevin this for you? This is gonna be a joy.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: So last week, not that week this happened, but the
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: last week Zach parlayed every single game right in the NFL.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: It was.
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: It was every single game on Sunday and Monday, because
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: I didn't have any of the Thanksgiving games.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Okay, and how many games was that?
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: You know? Eleven?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: So he parlayed all eleven games.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: He pulled an eddie.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, listening to.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: This, And how did you parlay them? Did you go
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: money line? Did you go spread away?
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: It was it was all money lines, so eleven different
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: money lines.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: And now there were a lot of upsets that weekend
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: so for ye that weekend to go money line, it
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: wasn't like he was betting all favorites. And trust me,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I've tried to do the all favorites that isn't worked out.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: So you did an eleven game parlay of every team
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: that was playing all money lines? And how much did
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you bet?
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: So?
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: I only put fifteen dollars down on it, which you
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: know now, I wish I would have put more, but
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: you know it's easy to put Monday night quarterback, I guess.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: But it's eleven b it's eleven bets, right, Yeah, anything
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: other than that's a way good. Yes. Do you remember
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: what the odds are whenever you made that bet?
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: It was it was plus thirty three thousand, so one off.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: So I didn't even know that was a thing, I know,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: So say that again. It was plus thirty three thousand, Yeah.
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: Plus thirty three thousand, three hundred and thirty to one odds.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: So for every dollar he bets, it's three hundred he
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: hit every game.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Kevin, Oh my goodness, every underdog bet.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Can you read us some of the underdogs that won
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: that week where you had to take greater odds to
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: beat because the favorites we get it. We probably would
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: bet him too, But can you walk through some of
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: the underdogs there?
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: Zag?
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: Yeah, So I had the Eagles.
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: They were underdogs to the Ravens, which I don't know
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: what Vegas was thinking there. I honestly was happy to
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: take that one. And then I had the Steelers over
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: the Bengals as well, and the Bengals were at home,
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: so I thought that would.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: Be an easy win. And then the Seahawks.
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: The Seahawks have been underdogs all year, and I've just
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: been riding with the Seahawks. They've They've won like the
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: last three weeks. So I've been cashing in with the Seahawks.
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: They were underdogs as well.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Here we are they're playing.
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: The Seahawks were against the Jets.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Okay, the Seahawks know.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: They were by like one point in New York.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: All right, what about that Browns That game got pretty
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: close at the end though, Right when you bet the
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: brown and you're a Browns fan, if you had to
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: bet the Browns will lose.
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: Yeah, And you know, here's what I'll say when it
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: comes to Ohio State.
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: I'm Ohio State fan. I'm a Browns fan.
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: I told myself I'm never going to bet on the
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: Browns or Ohio State, because if I bet for the
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: Browns and they lose, then I'm double upset. Yeah, and
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: if I bet against the Browns, then I'm hoping my
- 1:03:42Speaker 9: team's gonna lose. But I made one exception this time
- 1:03:45Speaker 9: because I wanted to pick all the games of all
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: the underdogs.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: You bet? What was the worst? Oiddes that when you
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: kind of scroll through there.
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: Let's see, I think it was it was the Steelers
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: against the Bengals, which was very surprising.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: But he hit all eleven, so he put fifteen down
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: and one how much money.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: For fifteen dollars? What did you hit there, Zachie?
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: It was forty nine hundred bucks.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, yes, we should apply that.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Fifteen dollars doing five thousand dollars now, that itself is remarkable,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: especially because he did pick some underdogs as well. Now
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: do you mind if I continue to talk more about
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: your betting?
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: Yeah, go ahead.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: How much did you start with? I'm in this betting
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: cycle and just in general on your account.
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: So I started with two hundred and fifty bucks, and
- 1:04:37Speaker 9: I was scrolling through TikTok, and you know, I'm seeing
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: all these people and it's like, oh, I'm ten and
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: one in my last eleven picks. Making money is so
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: easy on sports betting. So I was like, let's see
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: how easy it is.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Did you follow all those people or did you just
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: do it yourself?
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: I actually I followed them on one bet, and this
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: was before I even tried the two hundred fifty dollars thing,
- 1:05:01Speaker 9: and it lost, and I was like, forget this.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: I'm not listening to anybody else's ideas.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Okay. So I started with a couple hundred bucks, and
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: so how did you start betting? It was your first
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: bet to fifteen dollars into the four thousand, okay.
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: I put it all on a three leg parlay, three
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: money lines, and it hit for like twelve hundred dollars.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Okay. So he's two hundred to twelve hundred dollars now, okay,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: So now you have twelve hundred bucks.
- 1:05:24Speaker 9: Go ahead, And my goal I told all the guys
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: at the office. I was like, I'm not pulling out
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: any money until I get to two hundred and fifty thousand,
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: which is obviously very ambitious.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: Yeah, but I thought you're gonna say, like ten grandy, okay.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: So you're you're at a couple hundred. Now you're at
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: like twelve hundred, so then what do you do next?
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: So I actually that was in the early window, like
- 1:05:48Speaker 9: the one o'clock games that I made that twelve hundred,
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: So naturally I turned around and bet all my money
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: that I had my account on the Chiefs to cover
- 1:05:56Speaker 9: five and a half and this was a few weeks ago,
- 1:05:58Speaker 9: so they covered. So then I was up to like
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: twenty five hundred bucks I think, and I bet on
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: the night.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: Game, and I hit on the night game all of it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: So yeah, I hit.
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: I bet spreads all day and hit each one. So
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: I hit the three League party in the early window,
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: the Chiefs game, and the four o'clock window, and then
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: the night game I hit to spread.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: On that one too, And then what are you at
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: the end of the night.
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: I think I was up to like six thousand dollars
- 1:06:24Speaker 9: off of two hundred fifty bucks o case, so.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Far as two fifty to six thousand. Now at what
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: point do you take to fifteen dollars and try to
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: make that money? What you did?
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: Well, actually that was to try and make some of
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: my money back because I continued to bet over the
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: next two weeks or so, and I was getting greedy.
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: I told myself, you know, you can't get greedy because
- 1:06:45Speaker 9: that's when you lose money. But I ended up taking
- 1:06:47Speaker 9: that two hundred and fifty to thirty seven thousand within
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: two weeks thirty seven.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: And I'll like you to listening to that. I would
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: like to say a couple of things here, what dang one?
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I'd like to say, holy.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: Shit, Yeah, yeah, I think we're all thinking it thing too.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Zach is not someone that's like I got all the
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: betting answers following me. He doesn't do He isn't gonna
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: TikTok and tell you who to bet, so he's not
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: here like bragging about bets. He literally he was over
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: at the house last Thursday, yeah, like three days ago,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and like we had a break, like a three minute break,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: and he quietly was like, hey, I was gonna tell
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: you about some bets. I He wasn't like screaming it. It
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: wasn't the first thing he said when he got to
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: the house. He wasn't like, cand I come on the show.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: It was like I kind of have a cool story.
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: He was like, He's like, if you get a few
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: If you get a few minutes, can I tell you
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: a cool story? And he like ripped some like Tom
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Brady helmet with semen on the face mask. Yeah, like
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: you can make your you know, like, because that's what
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: dorm dudes does. They break a bunch of really cool stuff.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: And so he was like, I turned two hundred dollars
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: into how much thirty was it?
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: It was thirty seven thousand at one point?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Last ford it. Yeah, I never Never're gonna get to
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: the other side of this, but he turned two hundred
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: and thirty seven thousand.
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: Oh no, what you do?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Well, So before we get there, let's all say if
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: that were us. Well, for first of all, some of
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you guys don't have the nads to even play the
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: game correct. You would have cashed out like little chumps
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: and and but but chumps are good fifteen dollars bet
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: umps are good. No, no, no, chumps are actually smart. I
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: say chumps because I will be a bit extra aggressive
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: at times, and I should have been a chump. But
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I live aggressive, so I'm not going to not be
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: aggressive at times because then I'll question myself, like why
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: wasn't aggresive that time when I made every other time,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: but you guys are jumps, so that you got to
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: thirty something thousand and then do you tell your girlfriend?
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: I did.
- 1:08:37Speaker 9: I was like, you know, because because one night actually
- 1:08:41Speaker 9: how it happened. I was we have kind of like
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: a hangout room at the office, and I was watching
- 1:08:45Speaker 9: the Dolphins game. And I'd never bet a bunch of
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: money on a single bet, but I had, like I had,
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: I think, like seventeen thousand dollars in my account at
- 1:08:53Speaker 9: this time, and I was like, I'm gonna put five
- 1:08:54Speaker 9: thousand dollars on the game and if I won, I
- 1:08:57Speaker 9: was gonna win twenty thousand. And Tyree Kill scores a touchdown.
- 1:09:01Speaker 9: He hasn't scored in like eight weeks, so the odds
- 1:09:03Speaker 9: for him to score were it was like plus two
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: hundred at the time, and he scores, and I just
- 1:09:07Speaker 9: jumped up and started screaming, and everybody's like, what's wrong
- 1:09:10Speaker 9: with you?
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: But I just won twenty thousand dollars, So.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I was going that.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I would have been screaming, peeing, poopy, vomiting, ran around
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the night. I had tears out of my eyes. Yeah,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: naked and everything, naked, Okay, so you get to thirty
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: five or whatever, that number one was thirty six thousand dollars,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: and if it were me in the situation, and I
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: haven't been quite go from that little to that big,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: but I've had some some success at times, we hitting
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: some good numbers. I tend to go this house money anyway,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: let's give it a run and try to try to
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: mont and I'll cut a little off to make sure
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: that I'm still ahead from where I started. But I
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: get a bit too aggressive at times because I'm like,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: first of all, if I started with two hundred, I'm
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: gonna put a thousand back that way if I lose
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: all this other thirty four thousand exactly, but I'm still
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: gonna hate myself what I do. But I'm put a
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: thousand back of the two hundred, and then I'm going
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: hard on thirty four to try to hit one hundred
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: or two. Like Zach said, Zach, and I he's yep,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: way younger than that, But we are built in so similarly,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: and just how we think about like business and house money,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: and what do you do now, Zach, you're thirty six
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: thousand dollars.
- 1:10:11Speaker 9: Well, exactly like you said, I used the house money mindset.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: And I actually called my dad.
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: I was talking about it, and he's like, you should
- 1:10:18Speaker 9: take ten thousand out and then bet like twenty seven
- 1:10:21Speaker 9: thousand on one thing to try and hit this to him.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Oh, your dad's crazy.
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I love your dad though, I love your dab.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: Your dad's not a chump.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: But because that's the crap I would have done too,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: but that I lost it for sure.
- 1:10:29Speaker 10: That's a man with who already has money saying that
- 1:10:32Speaker 10: because like me, Like, but.
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: I don't think you're not right.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: You're not right.
- 1:10:37Speaker 10: Zach doesn't come from money. No, I mean, but he
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: has money now, is what I'm saying.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Oh God, I thought you were saying like that's a
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: rich guy. No, no, that's not it, because a rich
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: guy's starting a two hundred and freaking out when he
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: gets at thirty thousand. Yeah, okay, so your dad gives
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: you that advice, then what happens.
- 1:10:50Speaker 9: Well, I didn't take his advice, and I just went
- 1:10:53Speaker 9: ahead and bet almost all of it and lost thirty
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: two thousand dollars.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Any hey, hey, win comes then comes cold the way
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: you become a chump. Guys, Zach, how much did you
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: end up winning overall, what did you cash out at?
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: So?
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: I actually never cashed out.
- 1:11:10Speaker 9: I took that boy three thousand dollars and that's when
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: I went into this last weekend.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: So I bet three hundred dollars on a four leg parlay.
- 1:11:18Speaker 9: I hit twenty two hundred off of that, and then
- 1:11:20Speaker 9: I did the fifteen dollars to win the five thousand.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: God that was So what are you at now?
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: So now I'm at once this bet cash is tonight.
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: Hopefully when the Bengals win, I'm going to be at
- 1:11:34Speaker 9: fourteen thousand.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: So so you need the so okay, So hold on
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: a second. All that eleven team win is over. Now
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: you got your money on that one. That was after
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: you went from thirty thousand way down yep, okay, And
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: so now how much do you have before this bet
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: hits tonight or doesn't hit?
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: So I have nine thousand?
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Okay, Well those bet hits and then you have how
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: much in on the Bengals?
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: So I have two thousand in on it.
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: It was a two leg parlay the Lions, which is
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: why I was excited when we were down there streaming
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: at your house and then the Bengals and it was
- 1:12:08Speaker 9: a two lake parlay. Both of them are favorited, but
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: somehow the odds are plus one twenty eight when I
- 1:12:12Speaker 9: parlayed it together.
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: So I don't take that any day.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: If the Bengals hit tonight, that payoff will.
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: Be forty five hundred bucks, so I'll profit twenty five hundred.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: And if the Bengals hit tonight with that forty five
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: hundred plus what you have now, your total will be
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: fourteen thousand.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I mean, at worst case scenario, he went from two
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: hundred and nine thousand. So this is what I'm gonna say.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I'm going to give you advice now because I much
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: like you, and I sometimes need somebody that I trust,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: and I don't trust any of these douches. You're not
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: bad guys. You're not bad guys, but were douches only
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: in like one percent of life. But you guys always
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Kevin actually not that douchey when it comes to betting.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: I want to think he'd be them oh when it
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: comes to it, guy, Yeah.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Yeah, So would you mind accepting a bit of advice?
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm happy to accept advice.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: If you lose the bet tonight and you're just with
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: nine thousand dollars. Okay, take out twenty five hundred, take
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: out my one hundred, and that goes into your money,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: and you're done, and don't mess with that twenty five hundred.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: If later on you want to bet again, it's all
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: fun thing, But take out twenty five hundred and then
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: use that sixty five hundred and then rebuild and have
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: fun and do whatever. Take twenty five hundred out because
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you just entertained the crap out of yourself for multiple
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: weeks and made two hundred, twenty three hundred dollars.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: And that's what it's all about, right, Entertainment, Yes, you.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: Say entertainment, I think anxiety.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: But anxiety. You shouldn't be betting. If there's anxiety. That's
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: the point of it.
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: Though.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: If there's crazy anxiety on what you're.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: Gonna lose my five dollars, bets are entertainment. Thirty two
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: thousand dollars is anxiety?
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Zach? Hold are you?
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: I'm twenty two?
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I want to I want to give Zach. I want
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: to give Zach a better again. I want to give
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Zach a better props here because Zack's been hustling like
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: yard businesses, like this guy is entrepreneur like crazy doesn't
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: come from much. Has like figured out that if he
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: puts his mind to something and learns and focuses, he
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: may not hit every time, but he's gonna hit. This
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: is not gambling we're talking about.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: This is your general life life.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: So he the anxiety, he's not going to have anxiety
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: if he is. If he's going to bet, he's gonna
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: make sure he doesn't have anxiety when he bets, unless
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: it's like fun anxiety. He's not going to bet where
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: he's like, oh my god, I can't even freaking pay
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: my apartments. And he's been very successful. Yeah, and so
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I'm rooting for that Bengals one tonight.
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: We all are, Zach, No, not yet.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: I appreciate it absolutely awesome.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: And also Eddie wants to cowlways to get a better
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: draft pick.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: That's correct. Correct, Hey, Zach, let me ask you this though,
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: how often are you thinking about that forty what is it?
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: Forty eight thou I think about that? I might just
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: want to ask his mind, like I want to see
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: how his mind works. I think it was thirty thirty
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: eight thousand.
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: Yeah, well, I mean, you know, the night after I
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: lost all that money I was thinking about it, because
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: what happened was that I didn't just put, you know,
- 1:15:02Speaker 9: the thirty thousand dollars on one bet. It was like,
- 1:15:04Speaker 9: I bet ten thousand dollars and then I did exactly
- 1:15:07Speaker 9: what I told myself you can't do, and I got
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: greedy and I was like, oh, I'll make it all back.
- 1:15:10Speaker 9: So I bet ten thousand dollars on the next game,
- 1:15:12Speaker 9: and I lost.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: And beg I chased like crazy.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: Tripled down on it. Now, you said you told your
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: girlfriend that you want all that money. What'd you tell
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: her when he lost it?
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: Though, Well, it's funny that Bobby actually said that about
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: the anxiety thing, because she asked me the same question.
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: She was like, you always talk about how your job
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: can be so stressful and you want to come home
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: and you know, just relax a little bit.
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: And I'm like, well, it's.
- 1:15:35Speaker 9: Fun anxiety, you know, I'm standing up on the couch
- 1:15:38Speaker 9: screaming at the TV.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: So I lost it. I told her.
- 1:15:41Speaker 9: I was like, it was house money, you know, I
- 1:15:43Speaker 9: really never had it to begin with. That's how I
- 1:15:44Speaker 9: thought of it.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: It's like buying bitcoin or stocks. Unless you cash it out,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: it ain't even money. Yet it's just more. Yeah, it's
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: more weapons to fight the war. And sometimes the e
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: attrition happens and you lose, and I would take twenty
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: five hundred out even right this second and not go
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: back to it. But you're still gonna have another six
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: thousand to keep playing even if you lose tonight. But
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: if you win tonight, keep all that money in. But
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the twenty five hundred did didn't go hard because eventually
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: it's probably gonna be gone anyway. But like every time
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: I hit big, I sliver it out. I sliver a
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: little something out. I slivered out what I started with,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: or like ten percent more than what I started with.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Because then I really can't be mad at myself, because heck,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I won and got all the entertainment of like betting.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Like I had a big bet, which we talked about earlier.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I bet Alabama before the college football playoff and they
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: probably weren't gonna get in. I put twenty five hundred
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: on them to win the national championship, to win like
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars, and I knew that the odds are
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: they probably weren't gonna get in. But I felt like
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: if the committee could manipulate it, they would. Turns out
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: since a lot of stuff happened that didn't have you know,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: and Alabama didn't get in. But I'm cool with that
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: because I I've had a really good year. I think
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: I've probably this year been up probably eighteen or nineteen
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: thousand dollars, which isn't always the case. I've had years
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: where I'm down. But if I can't afford it, I
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: don't bet it. And I was like twenty five hundred
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: and fifty thousand, and I'm already up. And then I
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: hit the only bet that I told everybody last week
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: to bet, Remember the one bet we did the parlay
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: and I'm like, don't trust my parlays.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: The one bet I remember, I said one bet.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I said, this is the only bet that I feel
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: super comfortable with and the odds aren't for it. But
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: I said, what Georgia not just Georgia money line, Georgia
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: money line, and bro I hit that for like two
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: grand overall, so that basically paid for my Alabama bet.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: I like, how you look at it? You know. Zach
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: was telling me that when he hit the eleven game parlay,
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: the APP was like, hold up. He had a call
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: him Investigate had a call him because the odds were
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: so big that the app was like, hold on, we
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: got to look into this.
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: Yeah, I had no idea that was even a thing.
- 1:17:46Speaker 9: But I guess if the odds are over three hundred
- 1:17:49Speaker 9: to one, you have to, like it either takes like
- 1:17:53Speaker 9: a month to cash out or you have to call them.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: So three hundred to one for because my on drivekings,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I guess you can make it look like that, but
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: I do. That would be thirty thousand plus thirty thousand, right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: because plus three hundred I do all the time. I'll
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: lose I'll lose those all the time.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: That's three.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like okay. So in conclusion, Oh, you want
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: to hear a funny story Zach about Reid. You know read?
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: You know read well, Oh yeah, read read Read, and
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: you know what everybody loves read. Read is the greatest
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: I would if like I was looking for like a
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: stable man with a good heart to marry, to settle down. Yeah,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I even genetically he's like tall looking, like if I
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: was gonna have a kid with like, Read's awesome, little
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: goofy but little goofy and goofy, but it's like weirdly athletic,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: and and I've got a theory on him. I think
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: he's more athletic than we give him credit for. He's
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: just way out of shape.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: That's fair, I agree with that.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: And he's gotten a little soft on the body. But
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: but but but he's starting to like work hard, and
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: you're starting not only to see the squish go away,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: but you're starting to see his athleticism come through more
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: because he has the ability to play harder and longer
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: and work harder. It's been awesome to see he's been
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: eating better. So I think read. My point is I'd
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: have a baby with Reid. So that being said, I
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: love reading so many ways, a little bit of plus
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: sometimes I was waiting for it a little bit. But
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: he is the best, and Read is the kindest. And
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Reid was winning so much, not at your level, but
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: he was like making how much were you betting on
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: these parlays when you first started? I spent like two
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: bucks these parlays and like picking crazy odds and he'd
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: won like two thousand and we're like, why'd you bet that?
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: And he's like, I don't know. I just thought that
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: letters look good to get, and he was winning so
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: much Zach that he called the hotline to ask him
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: to cut him off.
- 1:19:49Speaker 10: Well, it's different because I had no money at the time,
- 1:19:52Speaker 10: so I was in no place to do that.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: But you were winning. I was winning. It wasn't that
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: he was losing. And called the number, which we think
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: if you have a problem, called the number. Sure, tell
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: them what you did, y, tell them how you did it?
- 1:20:01Speaker 10: Yeah, man, I mean I called him up and I
- 1:20:03Speaker 10: was like, hey, I got a problem money.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I need some help.
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: And they're probably thinking a problem.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Oh, you you're having a problem. You're telling your wife
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: you've lost your money, and then you said what.
- 1:20:13Speaker 10: Yeah, And then I just told him if can you
- 1:20:15Speaker 10: lock my account? And they were like yeah, sure, and
- 1:20:17Speaker 10: so I went in and it was just like a
- 1:20:18Speaker 10: reset your password thing. It wasn't really locked out.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: So I called him back.
- 1:20:21Speaker 10: I was like, hey, it's still not really locked.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: You tried to reset your passwording out back?
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I was testing it. I was testing it.
- 1:20:28Speaker 10: I was like, it's not really locked. And so they're like, oh, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 10: we'll make sure now. And so now it is suspended,
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: so I would have to call him to unlock it.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: He locked his account because he was winning too much
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: and was afraid of all the winning.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: That's so smart.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Tell me that's not the kind of guy you want
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: to marry and have a baby. Wait, yeah, Zak is awesome, dude. Okay,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: we're gonna be rooting for you tonight, and we're gonna
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: rooting for the Bengals.
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: I might put a dollar on it now.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: The problem, but the Bengals are probably the favorite by themselves,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: right they are?
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: Is it in Dallas?
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: Though it is in Dallas and we don't in Dallas,
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: so that's true.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Let me look real quick. I want to like the DraftKings.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: We haven't won in Dallas because I think so.
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: I got him at minus two thirty.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's a pretty big favorite. I mean, do
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I want to ride with him?
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: Hey, d ride with them?
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: But it's minus two thirty, so it's not like the
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna get much for it, but do.
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: It like he does. Put that twenty five hundred on there.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Well, I can go the Bengals minus five, but you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: want money line, right, because I don't want to not
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: win if you don't win, Okay, I win.
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I got him at minus two twenty five, so let's
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: say I put that's not enough.
- 1:21:35Speaker 9: Hey, I mean I think the Bengals are one of
- 1:21:40Speaker 9: the best four and eight teams I've ever seen.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Well, they have no defense. I mean they score one
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: hundred points, but they can't they can't stop anybody.
- 1:21:47Speaker 9: Well, I agree, but I mean not to crap on
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: Eddie's Cowboys, but you know they're playing a backup quarterback,
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: you know.
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: Cooper Rush though. Man, have you heard of him?
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I've heard of him.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Oh good, Okay, you backup, Okay, I'm gonna put.
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: A lot. This is awesome, your brain is awesome.
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: The problem is it's just like it's minus two twenty five.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's just that's the problem.
- 1:22:18Speaker 10: So you got to put a good amount of money on.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: There just to make anything. And then the Cowboys have
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: been winning. I've kind of been rooting for the Cowboys
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: lately just because.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: Oh, you do have a bet that possible, mathematically possible.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna put three thousand.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: I'm talking about you like that, but I'm only gonna
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: win forty.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: But it's only a thirteen hundred profit only, meaning per
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: the three that's all right, I'm in hold on. I'm
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: gonna make the bet here.
- 1:22:48Speaker 9: Throw a little jamar chase ten yards in the first quarter,
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: and then you'll be at like even odds.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Dang together.
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: So you guys play.
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: If you want to.
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: This is not financial advice, betting advice with Zach.
- 1:23:01Speaker 10: I feel like then the first quarter, if it loses,
- 1:23:03Speaker 10: then you just are sad the rest of the game.
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: That's true.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: That that is the I'm gonna go with what I do.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with what I do.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna bet three thousand dollars.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: That was like the guy to bet three million.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Dude almost lost it with a freaking Panthers for four
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: hundred grand and Bryce, So I made a perfect throw. Okay,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: let's see, I bet. Let's see if it's gonna let
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: me do it. Okay, boom, all right, man, I'll show.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I'll send you guys a bet slip.
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: There you go. You got a roll dog now, Zach.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I just want to I just want to rivee on
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: my guy, you know. Okay, So I bet three thousand
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: to win forty three three, three thirty three. And I'm
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: also gonna say this, let me save my image here
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: that if the Bengals go down early. I'm probably gonna
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: jump on it even more. I want to have better rides. Yeah,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: because if I okay, let's see boom, hold on done,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: save boom.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: All right. What's funny too, is you guys don't cash
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: out right like every No, no, don't.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: I If I'm playing and I win a lot, I will,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: I will sliver me so if I lose it, all
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: I still had a profit.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: Now I'm talking about I'm talking about the cash out
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: option during the while the BET's still live.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Oh almost almost never, Yeah, I use that now.
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: I've honestly never cashed out yeah boom.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: And I have, so I can't say never, but almost never.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: The only time I'll cash out is I don't feel
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: if I'm seven games in an eight game parlay and
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I've bet like ten bucks or whatever, and I'm tired,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: don't want to watch the game, and i don't want
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: to like not be able to fall asleep and keep
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: checking it, and I'm just like, I'm just going to
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: cash out and take the extra that makes sense. Or
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: like Arkansas, like they were Arkansas play UTSA this past
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: weekend and it was like Arkansas was down like four
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: and a half, and I was like oh, we're going
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: to drill them. And it was Arkansas minus seven, and
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: so I put like a thousand bucks on Arkansas minus
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: seven at the half. In the live game, end up
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: beating On by fifteen and we were up by twelve,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: and I had to go into like a meeting and
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm not going to stick around and watch.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: So I saved myself like eighty bucks just to not
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: worry about the stress of So I'll cash out like that.
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: I mean sometimes really it goes to like two dollars,
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: like why would I cash out of it's difference, Well
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: I would cash Oh no, no, I do cash out because.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: The resk versus the two dollars.
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: All right, Zach, buddy, let's go.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: I'm riding with you man. Mangles uh. That's super cool story.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: That's a dude. I've already told my wife that story.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: You guys, I go and check out dorm dudes breaks.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: They come over to the house and Edie and I
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: just break stuff, break stuff like it's in like memorabilia
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: like limb biscuit. Yeah yeah, move in, move out, hands down.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I did it. And Zach, you can verify this when
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: you're at my house and we're doing breaks, and I'm in.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: I spend my own money.
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: He does.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not like Zach's like I'm I. I'm there
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: pushing spending my own Why don't you know there's a
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: lot of times I don't win, but I hit a
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Roger Stallback Dallas Cowboys helmet.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: They had a Christian Watson Packers Jersey. I had a
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: couple other Oh, I had a I had a college
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: helmet from somebody Ohio State camp.
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: Cam Heyward, Yes, Cam Heyward helmet.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Let's go check out dorm. Dude, breaks, I love him.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: I'm obsessable with them, know them forever and that's it,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: all right, Zach. Good to talk to you, buddy, and
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: we will. Dude, Let's go Bengals. I'll be texting your time.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: I'll be texting, all right you, Zach. A couple of things.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Bill Belichick interviewed for the North Carolina job, which is
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: hilarious random. Yeah. I saw the guys, and I gotta
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: give Fox a bunch of credit because witty as crap
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: like Cleverest crap. They had Gronk, Brady and Edelman. They
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: sit on a panel and they call him the Fox bros.
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: Oh Foxborough. That's pretty good one.
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: I couldn't stop thinking about it because it's like five.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: They put a dot and it says bro And so
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: they're up on a panel at Fox and like one
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: of the other guys asking them questions, and I was like,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: more than the Belichick talk they were doing. I was like,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: whoever thought of that? Give him a raise? The Fox bros?
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Foxborough and they're on Fox. That's crazy, that's good. But
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Brady was like, no way, he can't. You're gonna see
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: him recruiting. You get an eighteen year old's couch.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: It's a lot of work.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I thought it was fun. I thought that Belichi, what
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: do you think about that?
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: He said it was heating up.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: Did you see though? Our guy some raw at Tulane.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: They were kind of going, hey, we hear you up
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: for the North Carolina job, and I kind of like
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: how we handled it. He was like, dude, right now,
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: like we're doing this, but everybody's like trying to like
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: find their way, Like, no, I'm not going to North
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Carolina right now, maybe never, who knows.
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: But I liked it.
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: He was just like we're all trying to like grow
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: and do new things. So I'm like ever gonna say no.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: I was like, that's about the most legit answer you
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: can give, giving.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: An answer political answer.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: It was a it's a little grittier than the normal
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: where he's like, I'm here right now, I'm the coach
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: of this team, because that's kind of the answer you've
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: give in that situation. But he was like, I don't
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: gonna talk about that right now. He goes, Look, we're
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: all trying to grow and get better and and you know,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: I'm but right now, this is it. We're here, we're
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: doing this. I got a bowl game. But who knows,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: you know, I liked it. I like that guy. Maybe
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: kids just came on the show. I don't know, but
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: he also knew the show. Maybe I like that's like
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: him more. He knew the show where dabout thumbs down
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: exactly on a big time US like ten times in
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: a row. Uh, that's the news. I didn't wait till
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: the end of the show to do this for nothing.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: I did it because I wanted to give it a second.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: But our guy here kick off, Kevin got engaged.
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you boy, thank you?
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: How to go?
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: It went great?
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: When everything is went as played? Had her parents involved
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: at her family's house out there in Alabama. I was
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: a little nervous for sure that everything, you know, you're
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: playing all this. I hired a photographer, all that, and
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: it all went smooth, all went well. The only thing
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: that didn't go well was my dog eating all the rose,
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: the flower petals. Yeah, and the thirty minutes later he
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: was thrown it all up. But other than that, we're
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: all good. He's a dog. That's what you're gonna do.
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: She loved it, she loves the ring. She was crying.
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: It was awesome.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: Hi, Hey Kevin up and I was like, hey, congrats.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: And then on the group chat, I said, hey, what
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: was the parlay because I actually forgot and I was like, well,
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: it's gonna take this to hit for Kevin. Have a
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: good marriage. The first two hit, but then I forgot.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: I told her abody to cash out, So your marriage
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: is good. You're saying, oh yeah, because after they didn't hit,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: I was like, oh, this is doomed time. But since
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: I told her abody to cash out, you're good.
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: Yeah, Oh I cash out, We're good.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Good.
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: It's gonna be a long one. I thought that meant
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: the first two years are good.
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: But then did you bet the parley?
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: No?
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Okay, no, because yeah, no I got I wasn't.
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I know what you're saying. Well, it wasn't. I
- 1:29:46Speaker 3: was living in a place where he could bet it
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: God and got it.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: Meaning you just wann't a state where it was able
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: to be. Why are guys acting all weird?
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm not acting weird, man, Why are
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: you acting?
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: What are you talking about?
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: Because when the ship? Oh my god, Sometimes you guys
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: are weird for no reason and sometimes.
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: Because during the break I was about to say something,
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: but you guys are like, don't what to say.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: I know, but there's a different It doesn't matter, dude,
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: that's on me. I should train you better.
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: You should Jedi training.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Okay, I do want to go to this kid.
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: Oh yeah, there's the kid you tease waiting. Early in
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: the show.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: There's cursing in this everybody and it's probably gonna even
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: put the up the explicit on the podcast, but I
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: flipped it through TikTok and this guy that is a
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: TikTok football he's like probably like thirty and he plays
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: plays NCAA football and he just plays people and you know,
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: the top half screens him with his head set on
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: the bottom half screens him playing. But he's playing this
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: kid who is twelve years old, and the streamers King Caruso,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: the adult, he's playing this kid who is twelve. You guys,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: I could not stop laughing.
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: Hit it, Mike, thank you, bitch made boy.
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: Let's just strat the fuck up, bitch, Fuck you little bitch.
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: This is a girl man's game.
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: Aggressive, aggressive back shots on josh On fucked you, bitch,
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: I fucking oh you.
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: It's raw dog in here. We're rolling here, bitch, we're.
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: Wrong, we're.
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: Bitch.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: So it is Madden, not in C double A. And
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: you don't hear the adult because he's just sitting there.
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: Like what's happening? It shot.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: There's more if you want, here's King Crusoe. He got
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: so annoyed the King curse was. The adult got so
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: annoyed with him. He started telling him, well, you can
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: hear it.
- 1:31:25Speaker 8: Shut your little lass up, Davin, you don't even all
- 1:31:27Speaker 8: have to watch a PG thirteen movie.
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: Shut your little lass.
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: Sarah pulsed his face.
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: Bitch, Sam closed his face.
- 1:31:34Speaker 8: I don't get.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: He's dead.
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: I know I did.
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: I don't care.
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: Fuck Sandswood.
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: He was catching straight.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: I watched two and a half minutes the video. Can
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: I stop laughing? My wife's like, what are you laughing
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: at him? Like a twelve year old cursing and adult.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: She goes, oh, I watch the kid do that? You
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: an NBA once. I was like, that's right, I know,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: so sorry. We don't normally put the cussing stuff in,
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: but I thought if it was beeped, it would not
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: have the same effect.
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: You wouldn't be able to play.
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: Uh. And then finally NFL review we can give our thoughts.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: You know, there were some good games overall C minus week. Yeah,
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: I mean there were some good there were some who
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: cares even the games that were good, something like the
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Dolphins and Jets, it was like, has ended up being
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: a pretty interesting game at the end, but like who
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: cares no offense case that's the.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: Right We lost, So that was great, But I mean
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: the Chiefs game was kind of crazy.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I fell asleep.
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: The Bill's Rams game was probably the best. Yes, yes, Superman,
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: Josh Allen, We'll roll through.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: The real quick. Dolphins and Jets. Dolphins thirty two, Jets
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: twenty six two. In the Dolphins come back in overtime
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: for the win. At times, Aaron Rodgers looked really good.
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: Yeah, Gary Wilson and DeVante did their thing.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: Thank god they did not trade Garrett Wilson. Whenever it
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: was like DeVante's coming, Thank god.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: We need him a long run.
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: Yeah, you can.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: You can start to see flashes now when he has
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: somebody on the other side of him and somebody who
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: can get the ball to him right like he dud
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: he legit.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: Yeah, he's great.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: Yeah. So Dolphins win keeps him in the playoff hunt
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: a bit. They're one game under. I think that Bengals
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: loss was not good for them. I think it was
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: last week, right, and they needed.
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: To win that one.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: Packers, oh, Packers.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: It was Packers. Yeah, thank you. But they look pretty good.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: And Tyreek. I did see a stat before the game.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: He's had more babies this year than the touchdown passes.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: He still got at He had five babies and had
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: four touchdown passes, but then he did catch it at
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: least one touchdown.
- 1:33:33Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: Yeah yeah.
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: Vikings Falcons Vikings forty two, Falcons twenty one. The game
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: was a little closer than the score indicates, but I'll
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: tell you what. Sam Donald five touchdowns. Yeah, dude, awesome.
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: Jayden Daniels was on a buye on one of my
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: fantasy teams. I just picked up Donald.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Got great smoking. Let me tell you. I had uh
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Uh not Bryce Young, I had Brie I'm getting my
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: Breece's Hall had Breece Hall. Yeah, and it had uh
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: Seattle running back Ken Kenneth Walker, Snith Walker both.
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: I picked up Sharp and Night thank god.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: Yeah, going into and Sharpeney was not available going into
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: my final week that I needed to get in the playoffs,
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: they both were out. I had c. J. Stroud in
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: my quarterback and Nico Collins my wide receiver. My whole
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: team was out.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tough.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: It was a tough week, not even that I had
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: my two best running backs get hurt called out right
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: before the game.
- 1:34:30Speaker 4: So it wasn't even the buye.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: So I lost. It was terrible. Defending champion lost it.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: I saw you dropped Courtland Sutton too, and I.
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: Had to because I did.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: Everybody was on buy and if I made it, I
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: couldn't have all my bye guys not be there next week.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: So I had to drop a good player in order
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: to pick up the freaking Bears running back. I was
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: like to for something I don't even know.
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I started drinking. He dropped Courtland Sutton.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: And you know I started at quarterback. Was Cooper Rush
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: had nothing? No, I had nothing. Okay, it doesn't matter,
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: that's not you might come back with Cooper down like
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: eighty ever know, Okay, Eagles and Panthers. Hey, that guy
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: that bet three million bucks, his butt was puckered. Dude,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: Bryce young Is he.
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: Had to get on that one pass right at the end.
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: There were times he was fourth down in the end
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: zone and like he was, he's he's good. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go great yet, but he's good. He
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: plays on a bad team, but he's good. Like he's
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: that dude. Okay, cool Steelers Brown Not much of a game, Uh,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Steelers went again. Not much of a game. I did
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: see Jamis stole like a pick six into a screen
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: with a pick six interception, and then Jamis still really
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: good at the end of the game to Djoku. But
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: you know, Jameis ain't the guy, but he's a fun
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: guy to have when you when you don't have a guy.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: H Bucks raiders Baker through two touchdowns at the very
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: beginning of the game is never really a game. I
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: did see that brock Bauer sets the rookie record for receptions,
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: which is pretty cool. And there's one bunch of gas left.
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: He's domina U, Seahawks, Cardinals. Who cares the games? Who
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: the game?
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: The Cardinals not good? I don't get it.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Rams Bills, Yeah, that's a big one.
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: I don't get it. Yeah, you don't get what how
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: the Cardinals can't win game?
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we moved on Rams Bills.
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: No, I get that. I get the I mean that
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: was a great game. Yeah, I mean but what I
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: don't understand though, is one week the Rams can't connect
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: like with a receiver like Stafford can't connect with Pookah
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: like was.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Crazy he was.
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he went off this game and then this game
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: they just looked unstoppable as an NFL for you man,
- 1:36:36Speaker 3: any given Sunday, dude. So what they say, that's what they.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: Say, fake or something early on or fake.
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: I didn't see that.
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: In that game.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: Yeah, something, because they were like, look it does matter.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Two games left forty nine ers the Bears did. Uh again,
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: I was watching that one on the old red zone. Yep,
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: and so.
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: Did They didn't go to them alive, right, did.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: Party get hurt again he go down or was it
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: just what they were just showing him down?
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: Once?
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: Worried about him because it was just like a we're
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: showing every touchdown.
- 1:37:04Speaker 4: Then your boy from Arkansas came in, right, Brandon now Brandon.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: New Yeah he started last week?
- 1:37:10Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, but no, I think he went back in Okay, nine.
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: To feet the Bears and then the Chiefs beat the
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: Chargers on the DNK end the film, of.
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: Course, Dwink crazy, I bet, I bet Chiefs last minute.
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: I did a Zach on that and it was like
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: minus two and a half. And I'm like, oh gosh,
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: that's such a mistake because like, either way if they
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: did a field goal or if the Chargers scored a
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: touchdown and they came back and score a touchdown, it
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: would be a two point spread. So I don't even
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: know why I did it, but man, I would have
- 1:37:38Speaker 3: been so I put all in. I had one hundred
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: and fifty bucks on that. Dwink saved me.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: You got it, got it, Thank you guys for being here.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: Let's go Bengals tonight.
- 1:37:48Speaker 6: Yep.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: For Zach's sake, Well, I mean I also for three
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: thousand dollars and you commute and Zach but only went
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: like fourteen hundred. I was just rolling on my dude. No,
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: I don't know why I get caught up in that crap.
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: I want to you want to support people.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: I don't feel the need to bet like. I never
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: have a like I got a bet on something. I
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: don't have that itch. I like to bet for fun
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: because if I was betting for an itch, I'd be
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: betting a twenty five dollars a bet if it was like,
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: I gotta get to make me feel something I don't.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: It's fun. But I just wanted to, like ride with
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: my boy. Yeah, but then I'm like, why did I
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: do that? Just do the bit?
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: Are you doing basketball bets yet? Not yet.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: I didn't even really do any NFL bets yesterday.
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: That's good if you don't feel it, I bet I don't.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: I didn't do a single NFL bet.
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: I'm not like that.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: I bet that. I bet the Georgia game. I bet
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: the parlay but didn't cash out. Forgot to catch it
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: out because I forgot. We said that I Alabama. But
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: I bet that last two weeks ago.
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: Yeah, man, I'll tell you what's cool about being in
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: a football game, like one of the Titans game and
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: betting that it's so delayed, like me and my kids counted,
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: like about a thirty second delay on like whatever happened
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: on the field versus where everything kind of counted, fantasy counted, uh,
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: scores counted, and like, so that was that was a
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: lot of fun betting live at the game.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: College games is not until next weekend, not this weekend,
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: coming up in next weekend.
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: Yeah, and a army one again eleven one should have
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: been love and one.
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: Yeah one, Uh, except they got run by Notre Dame.
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: Like run hard by Notre Dame, run hard.
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: But if they win this weekend, they're gonna be thirteen
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: and one. Not in the playoffs. That's crazy.
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: And if they only got run hard by Notre Dame,
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: it definitely would.
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: Have been in Poor guys, Love America though.
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: That's it. Thank you guys, We will see you later
