A Kentucky school band director has been arrested on 17 counts of first-degree sexual abuse after a grand jury reviewed evidence from allegations by multiple students. Adam McRay, 34, was taken into custody in Marion County following an investigation that began in May 2026. He had led the school band since July 2024 and previously worked as an assistant director. McRay is currently jailed with a $20,000 bond as authorities continue to probe the full extent of the accusations.
