When did you fall in love with this business of professional

wrestling? Oh man.

So realistically. It's kind of like A2 partable.

We'll make it 1 realistically. My dad was a pro wrestler when I

was young. I lost him when I was 11.

I had the. The honor of watching a couple

before he retired, but I didn't even care about wrestling when I

had him in life. Unfortunately.

That's the story we have to tell.

But as soon as my dad passed away, a lot of his buddies that

did wrestle with him reached out and say, hey kid, I know your

mom's not going to agree, but you want to do this.

And at that moment, I don't know what clicked, man, but I'm like,

you know what? There's anything that I'm going

to feel connected with my pops, it's going to be now.

And here we go. And at 11 years old.

I had a favorite wrestler and I had my pops and I said I'm gonna

do this thing whether it kills me.

Who was your favorite wrestler growing up?

Eddie Goro, man. All day, every day.

Eddie Goro to the end of the day will be my guy.

And that was I had the honor of meeting Eddie at a very young

before he passed. Yeah, he was actually close

friends with my dad. And every now and again when

Eddie was working New York, we lived in Jersey in Plainfield,

NJ. And every now and again, when

Eddie worked Madison for Vince or anything like that, there'd

be slight chances he'd come and I'd see him and got to ask him

questions. But at that time, and he was

with Eddie to me, I wasn't into wrestling.

And it wasn't until after I really got into it.

And I'm like, damn, Eddie's like the greatest of all time in my

book. Yeah, he's he's really, really

up there on that list. I 100%.

I never met him, but I met Vicki and I met Shawl Shaw.

I met them. They're very, very nice.

Shaw was a sweetheart, very, very nice girl.

I will say this real quick. I, you know growing up in in in

small coal region Pennsylvania, you don't get to experience a

lot of different cultures. And if when you do, they're

predominately white culture, it's Spanish and the Spanish and

stuff didn't come in till much, much later.

So growing up just Italian, Irish with the Germans, Polish

all that is kind of just what's available.

But the wrestling community I will say has really shown me a

lot of Spanish culture and I'm going to I'm, I'm putting it on

a limb here. The best wrestling fans are

Spanish people bro. I I work for a promotion in

Jersey called I WA Jersey. Their fan base is predominantly

between Mexican, Dominican, Puerto Rican.

They're they're bananas. They do they get so into it and

they're the the best crowds to work for and so and it's it it's

and the Sanctuary has the Hazelton community is really

getting behind them and they're really turned into like a a

really split crowd and it's been so much fun so growing up man

like wrestling is a great way to experience other cultures and

like finding your other favorite wrestlers and and and that

representation is so important and Eddie was a huge Eddie and

Ray were huge people to help put that Lucido wrestling on the map

for WCW and stuff growing up. Yeah.

And at the end of the day, like, and it's so good that you see it

that way. Um, sometimes, like when you've

been doing something for so long, you tend to, I don't want

to say complacent, but you tend to just follow the everyday

club, you know, And especially you.

I know you've been doing this for a while and especially me

doing what I do. You got to always take

everything that you do and just realize what you got going on,

because I too have learned so much from.

Like strong style and Japanese and Chinese and like a bunch of

different cultures that I would have never known different from

different if I hadn't paid attention to what I do day in

and day out. You know what I'm saying?

So I agree. I think wrestling brings so much

to someone's life and for anyone that isn't watching it now you

It's you're you're missing out and and and maybe you can agree

with this or not but I feel like why a lot of people missed the

boat with wrestling is that when they watched it when they were a

kid, they found out it wasn't real.

And then it turned them off and they said it's not worth

watching because it's not what I.

They felt like they were duped. And and I feel like that's it's

cool to like, I understand their business was set on those

standards. But I think in today's

standards, people are. So every day you're waking up

and there's a scam e-mail. There's a scam phone call.

So when people feel like they're being scammed by something they

don't. They want to get away from it.

So why would I tell people now? Like, well, you know, that's

fake, right? I'm like, sure.

But do you like theater? Do you like movies?

Do you like entertainment? Do you like art?

They're like, yeah, I'm like wrestling is a storyline.

Wrestling is live theater with action.

Like, it's, I hate to use the coin, but it's stunt fighting.

You know what I mean? It's so if you go into it with

the idea that you're going to see a production and a play and

if you buy into the characters you'll have a better time,

instead of going in and being like look how fake this looks,

you go in with a different mind state.

And every every non wrestling fan that I've told that to has

walked out a fan of the industry and they love everything about

it. And that's what I say.

I'd say it's a jokes to a couple of my friends who still to this

day, like you're still doing that fake stuff.

I'm like, I don't know, are you still driving cars out of the

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

So, well, growing up, when did you transition from, you know,

the the, the being the fan and growing up watching, you know,

your father and stuff do it to like I want to train and start

doing this myself. So after my father's passing,

unfortunately six months later I think, or maybe seven months

later, Eddie passed too. So.

Yeah, so that was really, you know, I lost my idol and then

my, my, my, my role model. All in one shot, all in one

thing. So I it really did.

And then my mom was never a big fan of wanting me to do it.

I really transitioned when I went to watch my first show.

I was about 12 years old, thirteen years old.

There was a couple. It was just a local promotion.

It was called RPWF. Who since they nap is not around

anymore, but when they came to the YMCA in Stroudsburg, which

is where I was attending after school program, they had one

night they had their show, they brought in Kip, so Billy Gunn

and Road Dump, and at the time I think they were Voodoo and Mafia

and TN. A Billy Gunn is insanely huge.

Like, you don't realize how big he is until you meet him in

person. He's a monster.

I was lucky enough to have my friend at the time.

He was his dad, was the director of the YMCA who did this raffle

and his son ended up winning. I mean, I don't know if that was

cheated, I don't know. There's still rumors to this

day. But he ended up winning a dinner

with the wrestlers. So when that happened he had a +

1. So instead of bringing his dad,

he said you don't want that, I want to bring Mike.

So we went to get pizza and stuff and we ate with the

wrestlers and. Just talking to them and hearing

their stories and the interaction.

Then Billy was there too. And he was just saying, like,

you know, I, you know, Sean's doing this.

And at that time, you know, at that time, I didn't really

realize what he was talking about.

But then now later, I'm like, oh, shit, he was talking about

John Michaels. He was talking about his time

with with Hunter and shit like that.

So, you know, with things like that, that's just like, you know

what, man? Like I want to do this.

Like, I love the show. So this is where I'm going to be

in 15 years, where this brotherhood and this.

If this is where it's going to be in 20 years, that's what I

your dad, did your dad work for? He worked through a lot, so by

the time I got to actually watch him, he was just doing small

promotions. I can't remember the name of

them exactly. It was New Jersey, and they're

far gone too. They're they're no longer

around. But he was working in Jersey and

I only remember watching him a few a handful of times because

he was retired as far as I can remember.

Come back every now and again, as my mom used to tell me, like

when the promoter really needed someone to step in.

So that's why I also do the stepping in whenever, because

good things happen to him in those times.

I remember he was really happy with what was going on at the

age that he was at. Have you ever, have you ever

heard his story of his, how he broke into business and stuff

like that it? Would be my grandpa.

I never got to be my grandpa. He was gone by the time I was

born. He had passed away.

But my grandpa was a mass wrestler.

But he was a mass wrestler in Puerto Rico and he was trained

by I I believe it was Carlito's father.

So the Cologne family trained in.

So he did a lot over there and he was a big sensation over

there. And my dad used to say I'm never

going to be as good as your grandpa was, you know, and and

stuff like that. But he wore a mask and

everything like that. So you know, I that's where he

drew it from. So you know like you said before

when my dad passed, I I kind of felt that.

So I was like you know what my dad did it with his his dad.

I think it's it's just, you know, it's just, yeah.

And honestly, man, like I I know a lot of the questions that

podcasts ask get a lot of heat of saying, oh, you ask these

you just said about your grandfather and your dad.

Funny enough, it took me. I feel like everything happens

for a reason. My fiance has made me a very

avid believer in that, and she's the reason this whole thing

dumb man comes a really smart woman, is what I say to this at

this point. But I was wrestling and I only

had the promotion about 2-3 years ago to when we really took

it serious and started. It was right before COVID.

It was named something different.

COVID came around, we rebranded and now it's been going good.

So let's see, 14 years. So eleven years in.

So I I did a lot of learning before.

I actually like said, you know what, I'm gonna try it, but my

real motive and I'm pretty sure I'll be there.

Next question. So I'll just throw it out there

and we'll segue. My real motive for starting my

own promotion was I I I really don't like that There's certain

promotions and I'm not mentioning names and I won't.

But there's promotions that have really hard working guys, but

those guys never get time. That was the biggest motivator

for me. And I'm not saying that I was

the greatest guy not being used. That's not by any means saying

what I'm saying. What I was saying was there was

a group that I was with that at one point we felt like we were

giving everything we could at training, everything we could

behind the scenes, whatever the promoter needed, and went out

there and had the matches that we wanted that they wanted us to

have, regardless of the outcome. Because you're not supposed to

scare about that. But we told these great stories

but still got treated as if it didn't matter.

So at that point I was like, you know what?

There was one guy that took an opportunity with me and his name

is Sean Hardy from One CW. So shout out to him.

I'm sure he'll watch this because he watches all my stuff

and that man hadn't taken me aside and showed you something

different and what a really good promoter is.

And later on I met better promoters like Alex Watt and a

bunch of other people there that I know I'm going to forget to

mention. But you know, there's guys that.

Do believe in that. So when I got into wanted to do

it, I said that's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to be a beacon of hope for those who think that their

time is going by them and they're not doing anything.

So yeah, and there's that. Really it's it's I the one thing

I will say that I do not envy someone running a promotion in

Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York area is how do you, how do

you push everybody because our area, we are absolutely spoiled

with good talent. There's like any weekend you can

go to a show in Northeast Pennsylvania or New Jersey or

anywhere and just you're like, wow, this is there's some future

of the business guys. Like people are really

impressive and it's just like, man, how do I utilize everyone

here and make sure everyone gets an opportunity?

And it really is hard and I'm still learning you know, like

wrestling. I had my time and I'm still

wrestling on the cards, you know and I'm wrestling for other

promoters. But as a promoter like that's

you kind of run into that my the only answer I have and I may be

right. I may be wrong.

Other people might have different ways but and again it

goes with the whole people thinking fake.

I think great storylines in a business, ones that continue

when, when to cut them, when to keep them going is your way of.

Promoting everybody at one time, if not everybody, Most of them,

you know, whether it's a win or a loss here, but that guy really

looked awesome versus that guy. When is he going to get another

Now the brewery shows pop like they're LVAC did one they just

did one over the weekend with Smash the the the brewery.
