- 0:53Speaker 5: He was scheeming mad, shaking with anger.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Shaking with anger. But but we asked, and uh, and
- 0:58Speaker 4: here they are, guys, Thanks for coming on.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Corporate Robert Magic, You guys can introduce yourselves the proper way,
- 1:05Speaker 2: the corporate way, the.

- 1:14Speaker 6: Steve Oser, Global marketing manager for Action Figures at Mattel.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Aka Corporate Steve.

- 1:25Speaker 8: Yeah, Magic almost Global, Senior designer at Oh.
- 1:32Speaker 3: My God, lowered away from Jazz West for the big
- 1:37Speaker 3: box of family.
- 1:38Speaker 7: We got another global guy in here.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Holy ship jumped ship, stabbed me in the back.
- 1:43Speaker 7: The Cody Rhodes saw you in here. He couldn't even
- 1:47Speaker 7: introduce himself.
- 1:49Speaker 9: And I'm Robert Rudman, not Global, but lead copywriter for
- 1:56Speaker 9: Action Figures, Brands, WWE and Masters of the Universe.
- 2:00Speaker 6: Ravaged National Right. I believe it's national.
- 2:03Speaker 5: National, Universal, Universal, United States.
- 2:09Speaker 3: The French packaging you gotta step it up.
- 2:14Speaker 7: I do.
- 2:14Speaker 9: Actually, it all gets translated.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Into all right, and uh, you're up next, Bill mckina.
- 2:25Speaker 7: Yeah, where's the makina?
- 2:27Speaker 4: He refused.
- 2:27Speaker 7: I heard, we did.
- 2:29Speaker 2: We didn't invite him only as dial up Wi Fi
- 2:34Speaker 2: so we could make this happen. Well, guys, we're here.
- 2:37Speaker 2: This is guys. I don't know if you know this.
- 2:39Speaker 2: This is a special edition episode. This isn't even like
- 2:42Speaker 2: just lumped into our regular episode. This could be a standalone,
- 2:45Speaker 2: bonus free episode on our YouTube, on our podcast feed.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Because this is gonna be big. I mean, you guys
- 2:51Speaker 2: are announcing all the comic Con reveals right for next year.
- 2:54Speaker 2: You gotta tell us all the scoops.
- 2:55Speaker 9: Oh yeah, crowd, the grand return of Card and Myers
- 3:03Speaker 9: and w.
- 3:04Speaker 7: W E Legends deal.
- 3:09Speaker 9: With with with all of Bruski and Chelsea's pets packed
- 3:13Speaker 9: into so many, way too many animals.
- 3:19Speaker 7: The roof. Over the weekend, there was some breaking news.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Former w W superstar Victoria just outright told the world
- 3:28Speaker 3: that she had signed a Legends agreement. So is that
- 3:30Speaker 3: something that excites you, guys that like talent is excited
- 3:33Speaker 3: in kind of promoting the possibilities of you know, having
- 3:36Speaker 3: matel figure. Is that something you'd rather keep under wraps
- 3:40Speaker 3: and have you guys show it when things are ready
- 3:42Speaker 3: to roll.
- 3:43Speaker 6: I think a mix is okay.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Not everything, Not everyone should scream from the rooftops for
- 3:49Speaker 3: you guys, I'll.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Keep a secret when I signed, don't worry.
- 3:53Speaker 7: Right, two SIPs at a live pot of people and everything.
- 3:58Speaker 6: I think I think they're gonna it's gonna come out.
- 4:02Speaker 6: You can move a little faster in the video games
- 4:04Speaker 6: and the app games and whatnot. So some of these names, yeah, yeah,
- 4:08Speaker 6: some of these names come out before we can we
- 4:10Speaker 6: can announce the figure unless we'd pull what we did
- 4:13Speaker 6: with the signers and just like flat out say they
- 4:16Speaker 6: signed before anything gets out. But but yeah, it's okay.
- 4:20Speaker 6: It's great to see people like Victoria excited. I hope
- 4:23Speaker 6: there's more in the works. I think there are, and
- 4:26Speaker 6: hopefully fifty percent of them keep things under wraps.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I think I agree as a fan, I think I'd
- 4:34Speaker 3: rather be like a mixed bag for sure, right.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I think Victoria is one that I'm definitely looking forward to.
- 4:40Speaker 2: There's so many different looks, so many different options. There's
- 4:44Speaker 2: there's some meat on the bone, you know, it's not
- 4:46Speaker 2: just one and done. There's some different iconic options for sure. First,
- 4:52Speaker 2: what do I want to see first? I think I
- 4:54Speaker 2: want to see like long hair like kind of like
- 4:56Speaker 2: debut with.
- 4:57Speaker 7: Like Stevie Richards first.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But there's wrestlemaning a twenty A match, right, and yeah,
- 5:04Speaker 2: there's a lot of good ones.
- 5:08Speaker 7: About you, Brian. Uh.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Obviously when I think of it, I think of the
- 5:13Speaker 3: spider type gear, right, and that's very toyetic. She had
- 5:16Speaker 3: a couple of pairs of that, so I'm sure that
- 5:18Speaker 3: that's something that would lean towards. But that might be
- 5:21Speaker 3: more into the ruthless aggression era, right, I mean, and
- 5:24Speaker 3: that that line is no more so she'll have to
- 5:27Speaker 3: just be kind of.
- 5:30Speaker 7: Edgends where she can't yeah any anyway.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Right, Oh yeah, I guess true. I guess you man,
- 5:34Speaker 3: that's so weird to talk like that, ruth disgression. People
- 5:36Speaker 3: are in Legend, say.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Getting old, Brian, geez, getting old.
- 5:44Speaker 4: You could literally nobody would bat and I literally if
- 5:47Speaker 4: Zach Ryder was in the Legends thing, I was swear
- 5:50Speaker 4: to I would not. By the way, we've been joking
- 5:55Speaker 4: all day about where Broski has been like winking at
- 5:58Speaker 4: people all over the internet about signing somewhere. I think
- 6:00Speaker 4: we just figured it out. I think it is that Legends,
- 6:02Speaker 4: That's what it is.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Well, he said, Zach Ryder is dead, so I don't
- 6:06Speaker 3: know how you guys are going to contact him.
- 6:07Speaker 7: That's to make that happen.
- 6:08Speaker 9: That's living somewhere with the hurricane.
- 6:12Speaker 5: That's right.
- 6:16Speaker 2: But even right before we got fired, we kind of
- 6:18Speaker 2: had Legends figures with that throwback Ringside Collectible's Edgehead thing.
- 6:22Speaker 2: So we're I mean, everyone knows we're old by now,
- 6:26Speaker 2: you know, or that we started.
- 6:27Speaker 7: So young, that's what. Still we're still going, No, bigg
- 6:35Speaker 7: So what what can you spill?
- 6:37Speaker 2: What I saw of these podcasts, you're showing up some products.
- 6:41Speaker 7: I feel offended.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I have to plug these podcasts podcast I say, as
- 6:45Speaker 2: shown on the blah lah l the podcast corporate, Steve
- 6:48Speaker 2: showed off.
- 6:48Speaker 6: This some from there.
- 6:50Speaker 7: I just moved.
- 6:51Speaker 6: You can see it, you can hold on.
- 6:54Speaker 4: I got you.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Second, let's full screen him. Steve, your setup is beautiful,
- 7:00Speaker 7: by the way.
- 7:01Speaker 6: That's great blocking it, not blocking it.
- 7:04Speaker 10: Kamala can't see nothing, no.
- 7:07Speaker 7: Point.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Dusty Ribs Galga, Oh yeah, wow.
- 7:14Speaker 4: That's cool.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Can't be seen up close yet, but it's there.
- 7:18Speaker 4: That's okay, I got it.
- 7:20Speaker 2: That's one that I've been wanting since the Jack's Bone
- 7:23Speaker 2: Country days, and that we're finally getting out all these
- 7:25Speaker 2: years later.
- 7:27Speaker 6: It's crazy Monday Night war. Having built a figure just
- 7:30Speaker 6: like opens up so many possibilities and exciting tertiary looks
- 7:35Speaker 6: or or talent that maybe wouldn't do well on their own.
- 7:39Speaker 6: So uh hey, we had John Tenta, so why not
- 7:42Speaker 6: do Goga totally.
- 7:43Speaker 3: I guess you've always stayed away because of the T shirt,
- 7:46Speaker 3: But I mean, who cares at this point, right? You
- 7:49Speaker 3: know you're not gonna have a license South Park T
- 7:52Speaker 3: shirt and an action figure.
- 7:53Speaker 7: It's very o.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Yeah. We tried. We tried. The designer at the time
- 7:57Speaker 6: Hector tried to do like a South Park style Golga
- 8:01Speaker 6: on the shirt and then we had to nix it,
- 8:03Speaker 6: so he no logo. But that's an easy water decal
- 8:07Speaker 6: to Park.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Style, meaning like just as close as you could come
- 8:10Speaker 4: without got it right. So actually, you know, obviously it's
- 8:15Speaker 4: going to be a blank shirt. And people who love
- 8:19Speaker 4: Golga back then know the famous South Park shirt. And
- 8:22Speaker 4: it's very easy if you are a figure collector, it's
- 8:25Speaker 4: very easy nowadays to get a very cheap shirt to
- 8:28Speaker 4: go on him. Is that something you guys ever think about,
- 8:31Speaker 4: like maybe with the Sandman stuff or whatever. It's just like, well,
- 8:34Speaker 4: this would be great. It would be perfect if they
- 8:36Speaker 4: had the shirt, and if somebody wants it, it's easily
- 8:39Speaker 4: you know, they could easily get it. I mean I
- 8:41Speaker 4: certainly will be doing that.
- 8:42Speaker 6: Of course, of course we do it, you know, so
- 8:48Speaker 6: if we that's why Bill likes to leave tattoos and
- 8:52Speaker 6: whatnot blank. You know, it's not as easy as a
- 8:54Speaker 6: T shirt, but you know, like see Impunk tattoo, you
- 8:56Speaker 6: can easy easily get those water decals on eBay. Not
- 9:00Speaker 6: condoning that, but you can get those details on emay
- 9:03Speaker 6: and slap them on there, there's spots for them, so
- 9:06Speaker 6: we do. We do it all the time. There's just
- 9:08Speaker 6: things we can't do. You guys, we've talked to you
- 9:12Speaker 6: about it before in our text and stuff. Well why
- 9:14Speaker 6: this shirt and why not that shirt? It's just like,
- 9:16Speaker 6: you know, if WW gives it to us and gives
- 9:18Speaker 6: us a green light, we can do it, and if
- 9:19Speaker 6: they don't, we can't do it.
- 9:22Speaker 7: You're working within the you know your means, doing the
- 9:24Speaker 7: best you can. It's appreciated. And back to the building
- 9:27Speaker 7: figures for a second.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I do want to say thank you because now it's
- 9:30Speaker 2: actual cool figures, like Disciple, we had the Teddy Long,
- 9:34Speaker 2: It's not just somebody in a suit. So what made
- 9:37Speaker 2: you guys decide Okay, let's let's try some actual figures
- 9:39Speaker 2: and not just some suited characters.
- 9:42Speaker 6: I think the suited character thing is was kind of
- 9:45Speaker 6: like signature WW Mattel for the longest time. But if
- 9:49Speaker 6: you look at other lines, they do anything, anything goes
- 9:52Speaker 6: for building figures, so so why not here for us?
- 9:56Speaker 6: And there were so many talent that we had that
- 9:58Speaker 6: you can get like extra looks out by you know,
- 10:01Speaker 6: just doing a bath of them. So I don't know
- 10:03Speaker 6: if there was like a catalyst moment, but it only
- 10:06Speaker 6: made sense to do it. And I'm glad that the
- 10:08Speaker 6: doors are open for us to explore that now. And
- 10:11Speaker 6: it's like full blown wrestling gear like that Virgil like
- 10:14Speaker 6: half and half like Lex Luger with the pants but
- 10:17Speaker 6: with the ripped Torso bulldog. So yeah, we could do
- 10:20Speaker 6: we could do anything.
- 10:21Speaker 7: The disciple.
- 10:23Speaker 3: It took Eddie Edward's done a toy hunt this weekend
- 10:26Speaker 3: and I showed him. Now, I'm like, look, this is
- 10:27Speaker 3: Booker and Steve Ray, but it comes with the and
- 10:29Speaker 3: you can build it. He was like, because he's not
- 10:31Speaker 3: really a toy. He was like like, good believe. I'm like, yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 3: it's a pretty cool, cool world we're living in. I
- 10:38Speaker 3: know the three of you guys pretty well. And one
- 10:40Speaker 3: thing I for sure always appreciate that you guys are
- 10:42Speaker 3: very passionate about your jobs and the toy business. You know,
- 10:45Speaker 3: it's not just like a nine to five for you guys.
- 10:47Speaker 3: You know, I feel like you guys wear your heart
- 10:48Speaker 3: on your sleeve. What's something and you can each individually
- 10:52Speaker 3: answer this question, what's something that excites you about your job?
- 10:56Speaker 3: Like you get assigned something or something in your day
- 10:58Speaker 3: to day that you get excited about.
- 11:02Speaker 6: You guys, go fast.
- 11:04Speaker 9: I get excited whenever we find out about new talent,
- 11:08Speaker 9: like whenever we get like Buddha and stuff like that.
- 11:12Speaker 9: It keeps its fresh just constantly, and you start thinking
- 11:16Speaker 9: of like, well, we haven't done this.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Look.
- 11:19Speaker 9: I actually was like under the I was like, there's
- 11:22Speaker 9: no way we would ever get Hurda, and I had
- 11:24Speaker 9: ordered one from the customizer, and now and now we're
- 11:28Speaker 9: going to be putting it out and I'm like, well,
- 11:31Speaker 9: there's somebody that would down the tube, but I don't
- 11:33Speaker 9: mind support support other people's creations. But it completely like
- 11:40Speaker 9: it's it just completely like opens up the ideas about
- 11:44Speaker 9: like going down the rabbit hole like constantly every single time.
- 11:50Speaker 9: And then that kind of like opens up fresh areas
- 11:53Speaker 9: on guys who may have been sitting there on the
- 11:55Speaker 9: shelf for a little while about like go now that
- 11:57Speaker 9: we're doing uh, you know, Golga is an example. You
- 12:00Speaker 9: know we've done we had done Earthquake, Now we're doing
- 12:03Speaker 9: Money Night Wars, And then that kind of opens that
- 12:05Speaker 9: up and now it's like, let's do let's do this
- 12:08Speaker 9: obscure book.
- 12:10Speaker 7: So the.
- 12:13Speaker 9: Ever since I came here. It was kind of like
- 12:15Speaker 9: a I tried to not bug step too much, but
- 12:20Speaker 9: periodically I'm just like you heard back on if we
- 12:24Speaker 9: got any new talent, and when he fills the end,
- 12:27Speaker 9: then it kind of like opens up the books.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Cool.
- 12:31Speaker 8: I guess I get excited this thing about like the
- 12:34Speaker 8: ignormity of the position I'm in sometimes, Like it's kind
- 12:37Speaker 8: of a dream position.
- 12:37Speaker 10: For a lot of people, like to be able to
- 12:39Speaker 10: choose what wrestlers to.
- 12:40Speaker 8: Do, to be able to do the first time in
- 12:41Speaker 8: the line for a wrestler who's never got a figure before,
- 12:44Speaker 8: it's kind of like it's like good and bad because
- 12:46Speaker 8: there's a lot of weight on your shoulders, like make
- 12:48Speaker 8: sure it's really good. And I've had some challenges like
- 12:50Speaker 8: in the past of people like that have passed or
- 12:52Speaker 8: people that like just never got to figure for whatever reason,
- 12:55Speaker 8: and this would be like their only shot. So like
- 12:58Speaker 8: it's it's pressure, but it's a really good pressure to
- 13:00Speaker 8: like try to do your best and try to fight
- 13:02Speaker 8: for as much as you can and try to make
- 13:03Speaker 8: it the best figure it can be.
- 13:04Speaker 10: So that's what I get really excited about.
- 13:06Speaker 3: That's cool, man, I appreciate that, but especially, like you know,
- 13:08Speaker 3: we talked about a lot in the show, you know
- 13:10Speaker 3: what a bucket list thing it is for a pro
- 13:12Speaker 3: wrestler to get an actually or so the first time.
- 13:14Speaker 3: So it's like I could see, I never really thought
- 13:16Speaker 3: of it from your perspective, Like there's a lot of
- 13:18Speaker 3: weight in the shoulders, you know, so and so it's
- 13:20Speaker 3: getting this first time and it's this big moment in
- 13:22Speaker 3: their life. You know, you want to you know, impress
- 13:24Speaker 3: them for sure. That's awesome.
- 13:25Speaker 7: Yeah, I know that.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I know there's exceptions to like every rule, but like typically,
- 13:29Speaker 2: let's say, like you get to design someone unless it's
- 13:32Speaker 2: like a special like WrestleMania series, do you get to
- 13:35Speaker 2: kind of choose what gear they're in or is it
- 13:37Speaker 2: given to you, like, hey, this is what the look
- 13:38Speaker 2: we're going for, or does it is it a case
- 13:40Speaker 2: by case basis.
- 13:42Speaker 10: Definitely a case by case.
- 13:43Speaker 8: There's definitely looks that come to us, like we have
- 13:44Speaker 8: to make this something really obvious, but like a lot
- 13:47Speaker 8: of the times it's up to us and like Steve
- 13:48Speaker 8: will work together, will sit down and like plan everything out.
- 13:51Speaker 8: It's really fun actually that type of decision making because
- 13:54Speaker 8: it is like a lot of people like where they
- 13:56Speaker 8: spend their money, like you know, like this is their
- 13:58Speaker 8: whole thing, collecting these lines.
- 14:00Speaker 10: So it's really good. It's really good position.
- 14:05Speaker 7: Yea.
- 14:06Speaker 6: For me, I think it's it really is an honor
- 14:09Speaker 6: and it's no bs to be able to give back
- 14:12Speaker 6: to the business now by doing this, to give back
- 14:15Speaker 6: to the fans and be that person on the inside
- 14:18Speaker 6: who can listen to them and try to deliver what
- 14:20Speaker 6: they've been asking for for you know, sometimes years or decades,
- 14:25Speaker 6: and like give back to to the talent, you know,
- 14:28Speaker 6: same thing as magic first time in the line, great
- 14:31Speaker 6: amazing moments.
- 14:32Speaker 7: You know.
- 14:32Speaker 6: We just had Zoe's Stark at Comic Con and she
- 14:35Speaker 6: got very emotional, which was so awesome to be there
- 14:38Speaker 6: for and be a part of and giving back to
- 14:41Speaker 6: the legends, my heroes from from my childhood, knowing that
- 14:44Speaker 6: you know, if I make a figure of them, they
- 14:47Speaker 6: could do the signing circuit and make bank on that,
- 14:50Speaker 6: and like helping them in some way, and some of
- 14:52Speaker 6: them will really just love action figures, which is cool
- 14:54Speaker 6: to hear, but.
- 14:56Speaker 7: In the words of the great Kevin Nash, check right.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Exactly, or they just like you know, having that other
- 15:03Speaker 6: source of income, which you know, it's it's I feel
- 15:06Speaker 6: privileged to be able to to help in any way
- 15:09Speaker 6: like that, and then you know we're reaping the benefits
- 15:12Speaker 6: of having figures of all these great legends.
- 15:14Speaker 7: Totally.
- 15:15Speaker 9: I'd also love hearing the stories of guys who are
- 15:19Speaker 9: big in the business who were like I never thought
- 15:21Speaker 9: that this older version of me would like this, would
- 15:25Speaker 9: ever get an action figure. Undertaker is a great example.
- 15:27Speaker 9: A couple of years ago, we had him as a
- 15:29Speaker 9: special guest at Comic Con and there was a mean
- 15:32Speaker 9: Mark figure that was backstage, and he looked at it
- 15:34Speaker 9: just kind of like he started it for a little while,
- 15:38Speaker 9: just completely in disbelief that that version of him managed
- 15:41Speaker 9: to get an action figure. And we managed to kind
- 15:44Speaker 9: of like draw out some WCW stories, which is kind
- 15:46Speaker 9: of like a nice little benefit when when speaking with
- 15:50Speaker 9: talent is is they open up about it. Like Steve said,
- 15:54Speaker 9: it's a very emotional moment for them when they see
- 15:56Speaker 9: a figure and and you get some big, some cool
- 16:00Speaker 9: tales out of it, which is a real treat.
- 16:02Speaker 7: As a fan.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's obviously you guys are huge fans
- 16:07Speaker 2: just in like the work and the figures that come out.
- 16:09Speaker 2: You guys are passionate about it, the attention to detail,
- 16:12Speaker 2: and especially like you know you do all these podcasts.
- 16:15Speaker 2: You're very friendly at the comic cons, like you guys
- 16:19Speaker 2: love this too, and it's just so obvious and it's
- 16:22Speaker 2: it's way better than just having three guys who are
- 16:23Speaker 2: assigned to w You know, you guys give it life,
- 16:27Speaker 2: so so thank.
- 16:28Speaker 7: You for that.
- 16:29Speaker 6: Tell our bosses so they don't move us.
- 16:33Speaker 7: I feel like we have to go back around the
- 16:34Speaker 7: horn and do what's the worst part of your job? Sure,
- 16:42Speaker 7: and you can't say.
- 16:47Speaker 6: Same order.
- 16:49Speaker 2: There's got to be things that without without without getting
- 16:53Speaker 2: in hot.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Water, get you in trouble. There's got to be things
- 16:56Speaker 3: that disappoint you, guys and break your hearts about you know.
- 16:59Speaker 6: Look, there's stuff it's it's a it's a business, and
- 17:01Speaker 6: you know things, it's it's work, and there's stuff that's
- 17:04Speaker 6: tough that goes along with that. But I think outside
- 17:07Speaker 6: of that, I think some some fans who take things
- 17:10Speaker 6: too personally across the line. With some things, there's been
- 17:20Speaker 6: some frustrating moments of people going way, way, way too far,
- 17:25Speaker 6: and you know, nobody's nobody's intentionally messing up or doing
- 17:29Speaker 6: anything wrong, like things happen. You guys know, you're in
- 17:32Speaker 6: the toy business now. You go through rounds and rounds
- 17:35Speaker 6: trying to get things right and and for us we
- 17:38Speaker 6: have schedules. We have schedules to it here too, and
- 17:42Speaker 6: retail programs, and you got to make the call at
- 17:45Speaker 6: the end of the day sometimes and and move on
- 17:47Speaker 6: and if something's wrong, fix it later. It is what
- 17:49Speaker 6: it is. But that's probably the most frustrating part, you know,
- 17:52Speaker 6: the heart that goes into it and uh and sometimes
- 17:56Speaker 6: you know, you have to just remember at the end
- 17:57Speaker 6: of the day, it's a it's an action figure, and
- 18:00Speaker 6: we'll do our best to make good on anything that's
- 18:02Speaker 6: wrong later.
- 18:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:04Speaker 9: I think that the crowd fund Nitro stage is a
- 18:07Speaker 9: good example of that about like how much blood, sweating
- 18:10Speaker 9: tears went into trying to get that thing and the
- 18:13Speaker 9: possibilities that could have been with just launching that one,
- 18:16Speaker 9: and you know, there was so much harsh feedback on
- 18:21Speaker 9: that that it was it was pretty tough. I think
- 18:23Speaker 9: that another thing is just like some you know, you
- 18:26Speaker 9: talk about how we're fans and sometimes trying to explain
- 18:32Speaker 9: reasoning to non fans on the inside. Fortunately, I think
- 18:36Speaker 9: that one our end, we've gained a lot of trust
- 18:39Speaker 9: because WW is doing so hot and the brand itself
- 18:44Speaker 9: in the Mattel end is.
- 18:45Speaker 7: Doing really well.
- 18:48Speaker 9: But you know, having to explain, you know why something
- 18:52Speaker 9: that is so meaningful to us as collectors is something
- 18:57Speaker 9: that we should do to someone who might had like
- 19:01Speaker 9: the only the only people who they might know are
- 19:04Speaker 9: the Rock and John Cena makes it like a little
- 19:10Speaker 9: like aggravating at times, but ultimately, like I would say
- 19:14Speaker 9: that we've won far more battles than that then we've lost.
- 19:19Speaker 9: And there are certain hills that you know that you
- 19:22Speaker 9: die on, and there are plenty of hills that you're
- 19:24Speaker 9: just like say, save that battle for another day. But
- 19:32Speaker 9: in general, kind of like what Magic was saying, feel
- 19:35Speaker 9: like super fortunate for being able to do what I
- 19:38Speaker 9: do for a living. Like I've said it like so
- 19:40Speaker 9: many times, I go back in a time machine. I
- 19:42Speaker 9: talked to eight year old me and tell them, You're like, oh,
- 19:44Speaker 9: you're going to be working on wrestling toys and HEMN
- 19:47Speaker 9: toys and writing those comics, and like half of your
- 19:51Speaker 9: job is going to be watching wrestling and the other
- 19:53Speaker 9: half is going to be writing about wrestling, and you know,
- 19:56Speaker 9: just try to remember all these catchphrases and try to
- 19:59Speaker 9: try to capture emotion of that moment. I would have
- 20:01Speaker 9: been like a very happy kid, very happy to grow up. So,
- 20:06Speaker 9: you know, it's it's splitting hairs for what I have
- 20:09Speaker 9: to complain about. I really you know that where I work,
- 20:12Speaker 9: who I work with, you know, our team, it's it's
- 20:15Speaker 9: it's awesome. It really is awesome. You know that the normal,
- 20:20Speaker 9: the normal crap that you know that one would have
- 20:23Speaker 9: to deal with at a nine to five job is fine.
- 20:26Speaker 7: But uh, you know, in the you know, uh, I
- 20:30Speaker 7: think that.
- 20:33Speaker 9: Punk, in one of his more recent uh uh interviews
- 20:40Speaker 9: on the other Side uh set a line which actually
- 20:43Speaker 9: really stuck with me, which was the grass is noise
- 20:46Speaker 9: reader on the other side, the grass is greener where
- 20:48Speaker 9: you water it. And I think thought that was a
- 20:50Speaker 9: very poignant statement and I really kind of attribute that
- 20:53Speaker 9: to working at Mattel.
- 20:54Speaker 7: MHM, you talked about the crowd fund.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask a little question, but on the spot,
- 21:02Speaker 2: have we seen the last of the crowdfunding from Mattel.
- 21:04Speaker 7: For WW or is there something in the world? One
- 21:06Speaker 7: for two?
- 21:07Speaker 3: So we're back in five hundred here. That's not bad, No,
- 21:09Speaker 3: it's great. The New Genius a slam dunk success. Then
- 21:14Speaker 3: the Nitro stage didn't reach its proper funding or backing
- 21:18Speaker 3: that it needed.
- 21:20Speaker 7: So where do things like that stand?
- 21:22Speaker 6: I think we're still on track to do another of
- 21:26Speaker 6: some sort, whether it's called a crowdfund or something else.
- 21:29Speaker 6: Maybe it's made to order, I don't know, but you'll
- 21:31Speaker 6: see something similar, like a larger type item, slightly higher priced,
- 21:37Speaker 6: point type item offered again. But what we'll see, you know,
- 21:41Speaker 6: the Mattell Creations team is is learning and wanting to
- 21:45Speaker 6: learn and wanting to nail these things. And you're seeing
- 21:48Speaker 6: a lot of trial and error with with other brands
- 21:50Speaker 6: in addition to WWE, And I think at a point
- 21:54Speaker 6: we'll pull the trigger and move forward with something cool
- 21:57Speaker 6: that you know, we have something in mind. Will that
- 22:00Speaker 6: be the one? I don't know, but I'm hopeful that's
- 22:03Speaker 6: the one.
- 22:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 9: I mean, and internally like the it has a lot
- 22:09Speaker 9: of fans because it's a it's a lot of a
- 22:11Speaker 9: lot of really good press for the company about like
- 22:14Speaker 9: putting something out that's uh, that's really big and really cool,
- 22:18Speaker 9: and you know, we're always trying to deliver. It's you know,
- 22:22Speaker 9: it's interesting where where fans are now, I think with crowdfunding,
- 22:28Speaker 9: so I think that kind of the pressure to do
- 22:30Speaker 9: something that really meaningful is definitely on.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Do you guys look back at that as like a
- 22:40Speaker 4: big loss because of all the time and like Robert said,
- 22:44Speaker 4: the bloodzweent and tears that went into it. I'm sure
- 22:46Speaker 4: that there was a lot of designing work and manpower.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Do you look at it as a big loss or
- 22:51Speaker 4: maybe just like a learning experience and we'll we'll we'll
- 22:54Speaker 4: get it again, or where do you guys stand on that?
- 22:59Speaker 6: I I mean it's a loss that the fans don't
- 23:02Speaker 6: have that and can't own it. The ones that wanted it,
- 23:05Speaker 6: that's a lot.
- 23:06Speaker 7: I'm furious. I wanted it so bad.
- 23:09Speaker 6: You know, there's there's one or two out there somewhere
- 23:12Speaker 6: at our office. But you know that's a bummer. But
- 23:17Speaker 6: you know, when you do a crowd fund like there
- 23:19Speaker 6: is a chance it's gonna fail. You're you're you're putting
- 23:21Speaker 6: an item out there and you're letting the fans gauge
- 23:24Speaker 6: whether they wanted or not. And in this case, they decided,
- 23:28Speaker 6: the majority decided they didn't want it, and only a
- 23:31Speaker 6: minority wanted it. So it is what it is, like
- 23:33Speaker 6: you kind of know that that's happening and you roll
- 23:35Speaker 6: with it. It's it's sucks, but it's understandable at the
- 23:41Speaker 6: same time. You know, you you speak with your your
- 23:44Speaker 6: your wallet, you vote, and they voted that they did
- 23:47Speaker 6: not want something like this at this moment in time.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Do you think if it was kind of flip flopped
- 23:53Speaker 2: and we saw the success of the line first and
- 23:55Speaker 2: then drop the stage because we the stage was up
- 23:59Speaker 2: before like the line was out.
- 24:02Speaker 6: I don't know, because we we announced it. We made
- 24:05Speaker 6: a big deal out of that line.
- 24:06Speaker 7: In years, some of the guys that they've been making though,
- 24:08Speaker 7: I mean, it's not like, yeah, it's like.
- 24:12Speaker 6: I dug out all my w CW figures and tried
- 24:15Speaker 6: to take a bunch of pictures.
- 24:18Speaker 9: Yeah, coming to the office because everything was a salesman
- 24:22Speaker 9: in the business. It's Dona Dallas page.
- 24:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 6: I don't know. I just think, you know, maybe that
- 24:30Speaker 6: was just too expensive for people. Even though we we
- 24:32Speaker 6: lowered that price as much as we could and the
- 24:34Speaker 6: margin was slim on it, it was still too pricey
- 24:40Speaker 6: for for what people thought they were getting. So understandable.
- 24:43Speaker 10: It was.
- 24:43Speaker 6: It was expensive, but you know, a lesson learned there.
- 24:47Speaker 6: Maybe maybe next time it's something a little bit cheaper.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And speaking of the Monday Night Wore line, it's been
- 24:54Speaker 2: so successful least you know, the fans love it. You're
- 24:56Speaker 2: banging out these great characters, these great looks of existing
- 24:59Speaker 2: ca arc is to build the figures.
- 25:01Speaker 7: Is this going to go on for a while?
- 25:02Speaker 2: Is it going to go away like the Ruth's Aggression
- 25:04Speaker 2: line and we're gonna move on to something else?
- 25:06Speaker 6: No end in sight. It just got green lit for
- 25:08Speaker 6: twenty twenty six. Nice Magic is the designer on it,
- 25:13Speaker 6: ultimates and elites, So I'm super excited to work with Magic.
- 25:18Speaker 6: Now I work with the previous designer help helping, you know,
- 25:22Speaker 6: manage it. Well, I guess co manage it because it
- 25:25Speaker 6: wasn't officially my line, but co manage it and co
- 25:28Speaker 6: design it. But now Magic fully designing it. Well, we'll
- 25:33Speaker 6: brainstorm and do the creative together and he's going to
- 25:35Speaker 6: run with it. So it's it's so awesome, that's amazing.
- 25:38Speaker 7: I would love to shine some light on the Magic
- 25:40Speaker 7: man here for people that don't know. It's kind of
- 25:43Speaker 7: kind of the Cody Rhodes of Mattel.
- 25:46Speaker 3: You know you were there, you went to Jack, you know,
- 25:53Speaker 3: and I know you made some unbelievable figures that jazzuhears
- 25:57Speaker 3: and you know, please, you know, don't don't be so humble,
- 26:00Speaker 3: shout them out for the people, I mean and the
- 26:02Speaker 3: work you've done. Uh And and like what I guess
- 26:05Speaker 3: went into that decision like to come back.
- 26:09Speaker 8: It was a really tough decision, but I think ultimately
- 26:11Speaker 8: a lot of it did really come down to, like
- 26:13Speaker 8: I wanted to work with Steve and Bill again, like
- 26:15Speaker 8: they've been so great and supportive.
- 26:17Speaker 10: That's really like was big part of it.
- 26:19Speaker 8: And I've always wanted to come back, truthful, Like when
- 26:22Speaker 8: I started at Jazz Whar's was always in the back
- 26:25Speaker 8: of my mind, like I want to go back one day,
- 26:26Speaker 8: And it wasn't until the aw opportunity even came up
- 26:29Speaker 8: that I was like so like thrilled and happy to
- 26:32Speaker 8: be there. So I was really really fortunate to be
- 26:34Speaker 8: in the position I was and that Jamie Pauer put
- 26:36Speaker 8: me in. So I'm just grateful for everything, to be honest,
- 26:39Speaker 8: and really just the chance to work with Bill and
- 26:41Speaker 8: Steven and the whole team again, really what brought me back?
- 26:45Speaker 3: What's your favorite jazz favorite jazz's figure you worked on,
- 26:48Speaker 3: And have you done anything that we that's in the
- 26:52Speaker 3: market yet for Mattel?
- 26:54Speaker 10: Nothing for Mattel yet. A lot of stuff that Jazz
- 26:57Speaker 10: have worked on that are still not revealed. So I'm
- 26:59Speaker 10: excited for the future, are there. Yeah, there's a lot
- 27:02Speaker 10: of good stuff people are gonna be really happy about.
- 27:04Speaker 8: Okay, Honestly, just the entired line is I was so
- 27:07Speaker 8: personal to me and like competing with Mattel and being
- 27:09Speaker 8: able to design my own figure to compete with them
- 27:11Speaker 8: the place I was just that. So it's actually kind
- 27:13Speaker 8: of surrealed now to compete with that figure something I made.
- 27:16Speaker 10: So it's really strange.
- 27:17Speaker 3: But it's so gus that they all live in the
- 27:20Speaker 3: same world to me. Man, Like if I was like,
- 27:23Speaker 3: you know, seven or eight still like deeply fig feding
- 27:26Speaker 3: with these things. Man, I was seventeen or eighteen, I'd
- 27:29Speaker 3: be I could have went there, but I pumped the.
- 27:34Speaker 7: Thrilled at the possibilities.
- 27:37Speaker 9: You know.
- 27:37Speaker 7: It's just it sounds like it seems like so much fun.
- 27:40Speaker 8: It's kind of fun too, getting in like a second
- 27:42Speaker 8: crack at some people like Cody Rhoads or Saampung where
- 27:45Speaker 8: like the most successful figures I did at the other company,
- 27:48Speaker 8: and to actually better do it again.
- 27:50Speaker 10: I was really upset when both of those people left.
- 27:52Speaker 7: So it's good Jade Cargill, did you do that one
- 27:55Speaker 7: to give to that?
- 27:56Speaker 9: That one too?
- 27:57Speaker 8: Yeah, that was a great one. Great figure was to
- 28:00Speaker 8: see Bill's version of it because it was so good.
- 28:02Speaker 8: I thought I did the best one possible.
- 28:04Speaker 4: But now then tell yeah, what about Ethan?
- 28:08Speaker 8: Did you work on Ethan's I did not work on Ethan,
- 28:10Speaker 8: but I had a chance to look at it as
- 28:12Speaker 8: was being developed, and the designer who did work on
- 28:14Speaker 8: did a really amazing job.
- 28:15Speaker 10: So I hope didn't pop it.
- 28:18Speaker 7: I have this next to me for the show later
- 28:20Speaker 7: that we're going to. I know you worked on that.
- 28:22Speaker 10: I didn't work on that one.
- 28:23Speaker 7: That was a.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that must have been a very similar situation, Like
- 28:30Speaker 4: you were talking about being able to provide people their
- 28:34Speaker 4: first figures and stuff, and I know Alex was like
- 28:36Speaker 4: in and then out and then in and then out
- 28:38Speaker 4: for so long and finally they were able to sneak
- 28:40Speaker 4: him in with like the Chase figure, So I mean,
- 28:43Speaker 4: I know he was very appreciative and I know that
- 28:45Speaker 4: you did work on it a lot.
- 28:46Speaker 8: So Yeah, that one was really important to me to
- 28:49Speaker 8: get right, Like just because Alex is such a great person.
- 28:51Speaker 8: He's been such a kind person to all of us
- 28:53Speaker 8: at the Jazzbat team when we were there, when I
- 28:55Speaker 8: was there. Yeah, so it was really important to make
- 28:57Speaker 8: sure we got.
- 28:57Speaker 7: Him a true figure fan the face.
- 29:02Speaker 4: I actually have it on my desk. The face is unbelievable.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Reason I haven't put it away yet, him.
- 29:08Speaker 6: And Jeff on my head, I mean.
- 29:14Speaker 9: Podcast.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Yes, so so very important question. I haven't talked to
- 29:19Speaker 4: you guys in a long time, but we had. We
- 29:23Speaker 4: saw a new dude Love figure and it came out
- 29:26Speaker 4: and it was awesome and it was a very improved
- 29:30Speaker 4: tied I shirt.
- 29:32Speaker 7: Did there's new technologies out there? Mark?
- 29:34Speaker 6: Yes?
- 29:35Speaker 4: Well, did Matt Cardona's name come up in the meeting
- 29:41Speaker 4: during the dude Love discussions? Like we cannot do a
- 29:44Speaker 4: spiral circle?
- 29:46Speaker 7: It was tribal, The person was tribal, tribal.
- 29:50Speaker 6: And the figure that ruined the relationship right, the trial all.
- 29:57Speaker 7: Did go downhill from there. That's really I was doing
- 30:00Speaker 7: hitting of the end.
- 30:00Speaker 6: We had a good thing going before that no, No,
- 30:03Speaker 6: it didn't come up. I think I think Bill, all
- 30:08Speaker 6: of us wanted a soft good shirt from from the
- 30:10Speaker 6: get go. It never came up. We just wanted to
- 30:14Speaker 6: do the box at right. So but now now you've
- 30:16Speaker 6: got to you've got a tribal and you've got a
- 30:19Speaker 6: tie die he I said this before.
- 30:22Speaker 4: I loved that original dude love anyway.
- 30:25Speaker 7: You guys take on all the like re try.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I don't know what your proper industry term is for it,
- 30:32Speaker 3: Like you know the irs we just saw in the
- 30:33Speaker 3: Legends line. You know, that's something that was once and
- 30:36Speaker 3: now it's been kind of refurbished and redistribute. You know what,
- 30:40Speaker 3: what what'd your guys take on all that? I mean,
- 30:42Speaker 3: I understand there's the legacy. You know, Mattell has been
- 30:44Speaker 3: doing this for fourteen years now, so there is quite
- 30:46Speaker 3: a you know, a legacy that you can touch upon
- 30:50Speaker 3: the people not even been collecting, you know, So it's
- 30:52Speaker 3: kind of what's old is new.
- 30:54Speaker 9: I mean, there's always once to do improvements on, right,
- 30:57Speaker 9: So I think that like I R S was like
- 30:59Speaker 9: the example, the first one was too tall, being able
- 31:05Speaker 9: to get in the new double joints, new hidden pegs,
- 31:08Speaker 9: things like that there's improvements that have been made, so
- 31:12Speaker 9: we're even though irs pretty much like had like one
- 31:15Speaker 9: look for being able to get an improved figure of
- 31:19Speaker 9: him is never a bad.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Thing, especially with the hands on most of the.
- 31:24Speaker 9: Most sloppable hands. Yeah, you're able to do like before
- 31:27Speaker 9: was like a punch hand and then a grip hand,
- 31:29Speaker 9: and now you're able to have a lot more display
- 31:32Speaker 9: options and.
- 31:33Speaker 2: What goes into Some of them are almost identical besides
- 31:37Speaker 2: the updated joints, but then some have different heads or
- 31:39Speaker 2: different color gear. Where's the decision on each individual figures
- 31:43Speaker 2: again in case by case.
- 31:45Speaker 6: Well, remind me. I'm going to go back a little bit.
- 31:47Speaker 6: Rewind if I don't answer that, remind me the question again.
- 31:51Speaker 6: But the reason they exist is because we are making
- 31:57Speaker 6: so many new figures we literally can't make any more,
- 32:00Speaker 6: Like we are beyond capacity, like we are churning them out.
- 32:05Speaker 6: There's so many new figures, which when somebody says like, oh,
- 32:08Speaker 6: you have no new ideas, I'm like, we're killing ourselves
- 32:10Speaker 6: making new figures, like they're literally dying, shaving years off
- 32:14Speaker 6: our lives. We're making so many more we can't possibly
- 32:18Speaker 6: make anymore. And the reason I actually was the one.
- 32:22Speaker 6: So if you want to hate anybody, you can hate me.
- 32:24Speaker 6: I was the one who started like these re releases
- 32:26Speaker 6: because we needed more figures out there, and we didn't
- 32:29Speaker 6: want to overproduce our waves because when you overproduce, you
- 32:33Speaker 6: clog and then you have this situation where you're screwed
- 32:36Speaker 6: up for years at retail trying to clean that up.
- 32:38Speaker 6: We've seen it a million times with every single toy
- 32:40Speaker 6: line in existence, and it's not happening on WW right
- 32:44Speaker 6: now because of the re releases. So you know, there's
- 32:47Speaker 6: opportunity retail once more. So we leaned into these re releases.
- 32:51Speaker 6: So when we first started doing them, going back to
- 32:54Speaker 6: your question, Matt, they had to be straight up re releases,
- 32:58Speaker 6: no changes except change upgrading them to our modern.
- 33:04Speaker 10: Particulation.
- 33:05Speaker 6: Yeah, modern articulation, our modern Dard standards of manufacturing. That's
- 33:10Speaker 6: what I was trying to say. So d ij on
- 33:12Speaker 6: the face, double jointed, elbows, pinless where appropriate, that was
- 33:15Speaker 6: the arrangement. Then over time, you know it's been a
- 33:18Speaker 6: couple of years now, you start to get them a
- 33:20Speaker 6: little more leeway of what you can change. You can
- 33:23Speaker 6: change a molded color like on Batista, that ultimate that
- 33:26Speaker 6: just came out, changing it to blue better legs. You
- 33:31Speaker 6: can swap out the legs for thicker legs on seth rollins. Oh,
- 33:34Speaker 6: you can change ahead if you want to, No big deal.
- 33:36Speaker 6: It's an existing head so you know, working with the factories,
- 33:39Speaker 6: we got a little more leeway in what we can change.
- 33:41Speaker 6: So that's why you see some of that stuff. And
- 33:44Speaker 6: at the end of the day, it's just like a designer,
- 33:46Speaker 6: designer's preference or maybe me me nagging Bill and now
- 33:50Speaker 6: Magic to change something on what gets upgraded, or maybe
- 33:55Speaker 6: we don't have time, maybe there's just no time. We
- 33:57Speaker 6: just have to move on something. You're going to see
- 33:59Speaker 6: some some greatest hits. They're just straight up from the
- 34:01Speaker 6: same line year, Like there's one coming up with I
- 34:04Speaker 6: think L A. Knight and Dom and those are just
- 34:06Speaker 6: straight up re releases of the same exact figure, no
- 34:09Speaker 6: changes because we literally couldn't there was no time to
- 34:13Speaker 6: do anything. We just had to move on it. But
- 34:15Speaker 6: that's because the business is red hot, you know, and
- 34:18Speaker 6: we're trying to make sure that from a consumer perspective,
- 34:22Speaker 6: you're still getting all the brand new stuff. And then
- 34:25Speaker 6: you know that this you know, popular re release stuff
- 34:28Speaker 6: like that goes out to the people who don't have it,
- 34:30Speaker 6: or maybe there's more meat on the bone for like
- 34:32Speaker 6: an l a Knight or a dom or a Cody
- 34:35Speaker 6: something like that. You kind of get the best of
- 34:37Speaker 6: both worlds of everything there, and if you don't want
- 34:40Speaker 6: the re releases, you don't have to buy them.
- 34:42Speaker 3: I mean it's as easy as that, right, just really is.
- 34:45Speaker 3: And that's kind of what as a fan, what I
- 34:47Speaker 3: think we've kind of got to point. You know, I
- 34:49Speaker 3: kind of eyeball the old one in the new one
- 34:52Speaker 3: and is there enough here for me?
- 34:54Speaker 1: You know?
- 34:54Speaker 3: And then there's you know, I would say the modern
- 34:56Speaker 3: day person was like, oh I didn't get this IRS
- 34:58Speaker 3: ten years ago.
- 34:59Speaker 7: I need one period boom.
- 35:01Speaker 4: And then you could sell the old one. But it's
- 35:03Speaker 4: a little cool, as Brian likes to call it, a coupon.
- 35:06Speaker 4: You get.
- 35:08Speaker 7: What you just purchased.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, exactly, it's easy. You talked about improvements. What
- 35:14Speaker 4: what went into the decision to massively improve the the
- 35:19Speaker 4: basic line. We we've been talking about it, we've been
- 35:22Speaker 4: kind of praising it on the podcast. It is the
- 35:25Speaker 4: figures are are are collectible again for for adult collectors.
- 35:30Speaker 7: Uh, we're like.
- 35:37Speaker 6: We're like, uh, still saying Twitter and stuff. At least maybe, man,
- 35:46Speaker 6: maybe I'll get myself in trouble for this. Maybe I
- 35:47Speaker 6: want I don't know, but like I've wanted to upgrade
- 35:50Speaker 6: the basics now main event since day one, Magic knows,
- 35:54Speaker 6: you know, I was like, man, like this sucks. These changes, man,
- 35:59Speaker 6: it's just like it made them, you know, almost unplayable,
- 36:03Speaker 6: just those subtle little things. And it was just back
- 36:06Speaker 6: and forth for years, literally years, and every year when
- 36:10Speaker 6: we were going through the process of our having our
- 36:12Speaker 6: next line year approved with leadership, we tried, we tried,
- 36:17Speaker 6: and I think this last go around that was successful.
- 36:19Speaker 6: We cracked the code on what really like amped up
- 36:23Speaker 6: the play that we could afford, because you know, the
- 36:26Speaker 6: price point was it's tough to keep that figure at
- 36:29Speaker 6: eleven ninety nine. So we figured out what maximized the
- 36:33Speaker 6: play posability you know, all that good stuff and was
- 36:38Speaker 6: meaningful and while we could still afford it to be
- 36:41Speaker 6: an eleven ninety nine figure. And they they they let
- 36:45Speaker 6: us try. They let us give it a shot and
- 36:48Speaker 6: invest the tooling in it, and it has completely revamped
- 36:52Speaker 6: that main event basic business. It was never terrible, It
- 36:55Speaker 6: was never terrible, but it's great now once again, and
- 37:01Speaker 6: it's really exciting to see two PACs doing great. I
- 37:04Speaker 6: just saw a posts earlier today. If somebody like fawning
- 37:07Speaker 6: over the Shawn Michaels figure from the Bulldog Sean Tupac,
- 37:11Speaker 6: he could.
- 37:11Speaker 7: Do his pose.
- 37:12Speaker 6: Yeah, he could do his post and that's the little
- 37:15Speaker 6: swivel on the thigh. Thank you Magic and a w
- 37:19Speaker 6: Maybe maybe it got that idea from you Magic, but
- 37:24Speaker 6: you know, you know that stuff. We all we're all
- 37:26Speaker 6: students at the game and by each other stuff, and
- 37:29Speaker 6: you know it helped. It helped a lot. And I
- 37:32Speaker 6: don't know, basics are are back and better than ever
- 37:35Speaker 6: as main events. We congrats.
- 37:38Speaker 9: The past couple of Diorabitous players said, like the previous
- 37:42Speaker 9: conventions have all been main event.
- 37:44Speaker 7: It's not.
- 37:45Speaker 9: It hasn't been elites and ultimates. So just like the
- 37:49Speaker 9: posibility and playability, the stuff that's been catching people's eyes.
- 37:52Speaker 9: Those are ell eleven dollars figures.
- 37:55Speaker 6: You catch that arm drag, that ricky steamboat arm back.
- 37:58Speaker 7: It's made a big difference, guys.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I mean, and it's not shocking to hear that businesses
- 38:03Speaker 3: up because it's like, now you have adult and kid
- 38:06Speaker 3: collectors in on them instead of just kids, which I
- 38:09Speaker 3: mean need out to be a real unique get or
- 38:11Speaker 3: character for I think adult collector to kind of dabble
- 38:15Speaker 3: with those when they were what they were.
- 38:18Speaker 4: Yeah, well the businessman and me it says, big congrats
- 38:21Speaker 4: for taking the leap, believing in that decision that it
- 38:25Speaker 4: would do better, and now that it certainly is. That's
- 38:29Speaker 4: that's great for you guys, so good job.
- 38:31Speaker 7: I think the two packs are flying off the shelves too. Man,
- 38:33Speaker 7: the battle packs.
- 38:35Speaker 6: I think the two packs might be our number number
- 38:38Speaker 6: four line something like that.
- 38:40Speaker 3: Wow, it's very much a luxury of a wrestling figure
- 38:43Speaker 3: a two pack because it just it fits so perfectly.
- 38:46Speaker 3: There's not a lot of toilenes. It's like, oh, this
- 38:48Speaker 3: needs to be a two pack, you know. It's very
- 38:51Speaker 3: wrestling isolated thing. I would like to think.
- 38:54Speaker 6: I was assisting with another line recently and two packs
- 38:58Speaker 6: came up as an option for them, and somebody was like,
- 39:01Speaker 6: you don't need them for you don't need two packs
- 39:03Speaker 6: for this line, you know. And if you do do
- 39:05Speaker 6: two packs, it's just a couple. It's not like deep
- 39:07Speaker 6: like WW Lisa, and they were right, We're blessed we're
- 39:10Speaker 6: able to do two packs a lot of.
- 39:13Speaker 2: You can do tag teams, you can do managers, rivals.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I mean, sky's the limit. Really, there's so many different combinations.
- 39:20Speaker 2: I actually think you should do a Chelsea Green and
- 39:24Speaker 2: Adam Pierce or Chelsea Green and Nick All. This sneaking
- 39:28Speaker 2: nick alldis into line with a Chase Chelsea Green.
- 39:30Speaker 7: Main event. She needs some new figs. I need something
- 39:32Speaker 7: to do. I get signed and selling what hypros legends.
- 39:38Speaker 6: No, I will not.
- 39:39Speaker 2: If I ever sign a Legends I'll make sure hypebro
- 39:43Speaker 2: figure is not allowed a little asterisk not allowed to come.
- 39:47Speaker 3: You wouldn't want to ruin any kids Christmas anyway, So
- 39:49Speaker 3: it's probably I don't think there's.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Any meat on the bone for any more Hypro's figures.
- 39:54Speaker 4: I think that one was you.
- 39:56Speaker 6: Need a new basic, You need a new Basic.
- 39:59Speaker 2: No, I'm glad we got the one because it wasn't
- 40:01Speaker 2: a complete waste of my year, of my life, you know,
- 40:04Speaker 2: like I got to figure out of it, you know,
- 40:06Speaker 2: so I got something out of it.
- 40:08Speaker 7: If I didn't get a figure, like all the misery
- 40:11Speaker 7: would have been for nothing, you know, right, Sure, we're
- 40:15Speaker 7: glad to hear that, bro, It's true. I do want
- 40:20Speaker 7: to thank you guys.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Let's that's the last time we're gonna bear Mojo's name
- 40:25Speaker 2: ever again. I do want to thank you guys for
- 40:28Speaker 2: bringing back the retros. We gave you a lot of ship.
- 40:31Speaker 2: When they were put on ice, I thought we'd never
- 40:34Speaker 2: see him again. And uh, I'm a huge fan of
- 40:37Speaker 2: what you guys been doing with them. I've been getting
- 40:40Speaker 2: them all.
- 40:40Speaker 7: I love it.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I got I got a bunch of blaze right here
- 40:42Speaker 2: on my desk, right here. I'm excited. I'm excited for
- 40:45Speaker 2: what's next, plans to keep going with the line. I
- 40:47Speaker 2: know you guys do another ring, which is awesome, that
- 40:50Speaker 2: that Purple Royal rumble ring. I'm a retro for these suckers.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I'm a sucker for these.
- 40:59Speaker 6: That's it, man, Dude, you were giving us such a
- 41:05Speaker 6: hard time in the group chat, and I'm telling you,
- 41:08Speaker 6: I kept telling you I'm working on them. I'm literally
- 41:11Speaker 6: working on them.
- 41:12Speaker 7: I gave up.
- 41:13Speaker 3: These aren't These are dead in my mind. That's how
- 41:16Speaker 3: long it takes. It takes a long time.
- 41:17Speaker 7: It took so long. I was like, it's not going
- 41:19Speaker 7: to take two years.
- 41:21Speaker 6: At the end of the day, but a new concept
- 41:24Speaker 6: and toy takes at least a year, and like it
- 41:26Speaker 6: was totally revamped how we were doing it. Anyway, they're back.
- 41:30Speaker 6: We are having our discussions now. I just mentioned, you know,
- 41:33Speaker 6: Monday Night Wars was greenlit for twenty six. We're having
- 41:36Speaker 6: those discussions now for for retros for twenty twenty six.
- 41:39Speaker 6: So we're actively, you know, working on the next steps
- 41:43Speaker 6: for retros ringside carrying them.
- 41:47Speaker 9: Jim Cornette craps all over the copy.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Oh it's great, I love it. So you guys see that.
- 41:53Speaker 9: No, it happened every time and again in Cornett. So
- 41:57Speaker 9: the Cornet podcasts they start like they do action figure
- 42:00Speaker 9: segment segments, and Cornett says, these moves that are made
- 42:04Speaker 9: up from someone who obviously knows nothing about wrestling, and
- 42:07Speaker 9: you know, we just like, you know, it's it's the
- 42:10Speaker 9: Bundy listlight of I didn't know that I had to
- 42:13Speaker 9: get cracked by Jim Cornett.
- 42:15Speaker 7: But you know, the.
- 42:18Speaker 9: Initially when we did the first round, it was all
- 42:21Speaker 9: trying to replicate the guy's moves, and now it's like
- 42:24Speaker 9: actually calling out kind of like.
- 42:25Speaker 7: Those the made up moves that they had fun of it, right, Yeah,
- 42:31Speaker 7: It's a lot of fun. Was the Nikolai Ki.
- 42:40Speaker 6: Rob and I we had to we had to pivot
- 42:42Speaker 6: from He had a very you know, Russian Cold War
- 42:45Speaker 6: esque move prior to the kick. Ali and Rob and
- 42:50Speaker 6: I got it a call and we're just going through
- 42:52Speaker 6: names and then I think you said Nikolai Ki and
- 42:55Speaker 6: we both started dying and like that that's the one.
- 42:59Speaker 9: Yeah, the worst get the better it is.
- 43:02Speaker 4: You know what's crazy. I'm looking at this. I have
- 43:06Speaker 4: this list. We did the we Want Retros figure of
- 43:09Speaker 4: the Week for thirty one weeks. We we would bring
- 43:12Speaker 4: up what retro we want and I'm just looking at
- 43:15Speaker 4: this list. I think you guys have since it came back,
- 43:17Speaker 4: made fifty of the thirty. So you've been knocking off
- 43:23Speaker 4: some of our top wants in that line and also
- 43:27Speaker 4: surprising us with some really cool ones and all that.
- 43:31Speaker 3: So, speaking of new innovations, guys, please tell me the
- 43:34Speaker 3: knuckle Crunchers are greenlit for twenty twenty six.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Oh they are, Oh man, nice, They're so fun.
- 43:43Speaker 7: They're fantastic child toy.
- 43:46Speaker 6: I'm I'm so excited to see you know, you you
- 43:49Speaker 6: got it right one when the adults love them too,
- 43:53Speaker 6: The freedom loves them.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I think just man playability, price point, uniqueness, accessory.
- 44:00Speaker 7: I mean it's like.
- 44:02Speaker 6: So now now we're just trying to expand that that
- 44:07Speaker 6: world that we're we're building there, Like who else can
- 44:10Speaker 6: we make that's still viable, like from a kid's perspective,
- 44:12Speaker 6: Like you don't want to go too deep on a
- 44:14Speaker 6: line like that necessarily, but maybe maybe we'll sneak one in,
- 44:20Speaker 6: you know when nobody's.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Looking disciple build a knuckle crunt.
- 44:28Speaker 7: Knuckle country. Yeah, that.
- 44:33Speaker 9: The that the usually these kids product, these kids lines
- 44:37Speaker 9: are usually like a year and out, and this one
- 44:40Speaker 9: has had some longevity. So it's been fantastic.
- 44:43Speaker 4: That's what Brian mentioned on the pot A Bunch. It's like,
- 44:45Speaker 4: this is great, hopefully continues because usually you get like
- 44:48Speaker 4: one or two lines and and that's it.
- 44:51Speaker 6: Well, a lot of that, you know, is dictated by
- 44:53Speaker 6: retailers and you have to make decisions like super early
- 44:56Speaker 6: in the process. But the retailers are really excited, so
- 45:01Speaker 6: we haven't we haven't had this for a long time
- 45:03Speaker 6: any and I'm sure part of that is w W
- 45:05Speaker 6: being red hot also right now. So it's it's it's cool.
- 45:08Speaker 6: I'm glad we got something that's sticking around for a
- 45:10Speaker 6: little bit. I think Reckon was the last thing that
- 45:12Speaker 6: lasted this long.
- 45:14Speaker 7: Yeah right, yeah, that would have to be right. So
- 45:18Speaker 7: you guys don't get to bring back the Power Slammers
- 45:20Speaker 7: anytime soon.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Oh boy, are those the handshake wrestlers? We talked about
- 45:27Speaker 6: them all.
- 45:27Speaker 7: Those are the worst wrestling figures in history.
- 45:30Speaker 3: I saw I'm at a flea market when I was
- 45:32Speaker 3: on that fake with Edwards and I showed him, I'm like,
- 45:35Speaker 3: these are They're horrendous.
- 45:38Speaker 6: If you signed that deal, Matt, that's the first figure
- 45:41Speaker 6: that's coming.
- 45:41Speaker 7: Out, I have already. I already have one Power.
- 45:45Speaker 6: You get a new one. You're getting a new one
- 45:47Speaker 6: in the box.
- 45:48Speaker 7: It looks hot.
- 45:48Speaker 6: That's your that's your WrestleMania figure.
- 45:51Speaker 9: Oh man, that'll be the return of the hype Ross.
- 45:58Speaker 3: Oh boy, yeah, I'd say that's the biggest matel That
- 46:03Speaker 3: would be flop of all time. It was yeah, yeah,
- 46:10Speaker 3: what was Remember the ring was made of like balsa
- 46:13Speaker 3: wood or something, and it it was like a plastic
- 46:17Speaker 3: ring what it was like.
- 46:19Speaker 6: But it was like it was like a baku gonth.
- 46:24Speaker 2: It was like what you put on top of like
- 46:25Speaker 2: a birthday cake, so like to cover it when you
- 46:27Speaker 2: bring your friends, you know, like will cover for the cake.
- 46:31Speaker 6: I think I wasn't there, obviously I hear stories, but
- 46:35Speaker 6: I think it was one of those things where it
- 46:36Speaker 6: was an inventor item, and you know, they went there
- 46:39Speaker 6: and they saw it and they turned it on and
- 46:41Speaker 6: everybody was like, look at them go and it's just
- 46:45Speaker 6: you know, people got excited and the ball got rolling,
- 46:47Speaker 6: but then there was actually no playability other than like
- 46:50Speaker 6: watching them flip around. But they they invested in it emotionally,
- 46:56Speaker 6: and and here we are. It's part of our history.
- 47:00Speaker 7: That's that's our that's our that's the commercial falls through
- 47:04Speaker 7: the wall.
- 47:05Speaker 6: I don't know, maybe that might be for the Buddy.
- 47:08Speaker 7: It's the same time the Buddies and those kind of
- 47:10Speaker 7: the same exact time.
- 47:11Speaker 6: Remember that mania in New York, New Jersey where the
- 47:14Speaker 6: whole uh Mentel statement was about the buddies and and
- 47:17Speaker 6: those figures. I walked in and walked right out.
- 47:22Speaker 3: We had a talent meeting for those buddies in the figures.
- 47:24Speaker 3: We'll never forget. Oh man, that was crazy.
- 47:26Speaker 2: And that's when I stole the Buddy because I'm like this,
- 47:29Speaker 2: this might not come out. There's like the Zach Ryder
- 47:31Speaker 2: character was kind of cooling off and it was there
- 47:33Speaker 2: on display, and I asked, I asked Bill for it,
- 47:36Speaker 2: and he said no, and I just took it.
- 47:41Speaker 7: That was a huge.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Display of all the like current product loose and like
- 47:46Speaker 3: kind of super glued to some like risers. And then
- 47:50Speaker 3: he had That was the first time I'd ever seen
- 47:51Speaker 3: my Kurt Hawkins basic and I was like, oh, I
- 47:53Speaker 3: canna build the same things. He said, no, you can't
- 47:54Speaker 3: take this. And then I saw somebody catering I figure.
- 47:57Speaker 3: I said, how did you get this? Oh, they're letting
- 47:58Speaker 3: you take stuff now. So I went back to the
- 48:00Speaker 3: Hawkins and I took like a Tully Blanchard legend. I mean,
- 48:02Speaker 3: I was thinking, like I have like twenty figures after that.
- 48:05Speaker 3: I'm sure Bill had a heart attack.
- 48:06Speaker 2: But whatever, did Zoe Starks ever get her figure that
- 48:12Speaker 2: that Bill wouldn't give her a comic con?
- 48:13Speaker 7: Did she ever get it?
- 48:15Speaker 6: Probably not. That's my fault. I am so busy. I
- 48:22Speaker 6: haven't chipped anything out. I have a whole pile of
- 48:24Speaker 6: stuff that I have to ship out, and that's one
- 48:26Speaker 6: of them. So she will get it. She will get it.
- 48:27Speaker 6: I'm not going to screw over. It's in the pile.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Speaking of Comic Con, that the Shawn Michaels really cool
- 48:33Speaker 2: the zip line. What what went down where he wasn't available?
- 48:36Speaker 2: He's like not in stock yet? Is there a reason
- 48:39Speaker 2: why he?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Oh?
- 48:41Speaker 7: Man?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Uh?
- 48:42Speaker 6: He was developed to be released later in the year,
- 48:46Speaker 6: and we pulled him in to make him the Comic
- 48:48Speaker 6: Con exclusive.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Uh.
- 48:50Speaker 6: So it became like an online only exclusive. And that
- 48:53Speaker 6: you know, it happens more often than you might realize.
- 48:57Speaker 6: I think another company, another big toy company, had a
- 49:00Speaker 6: lot of their items online only and they shifted much
- 49:04Speaker 6: much later last year and the year before that, So
- 49:08Speaker 6: it happens. But I'm glad this one came out and
- 49:10Speaker 6: Sean did the PR rounds for us and it was
- 49:12Speaker 6: super cool and it was a nice way to cap off, like,
- 49:15Speaker 6: you know, forty years of WrestleMania by doing doing mister WrestleMania.
- 49:18Speaker 7: Totally. It's a great figure. I have it right here. Actually,
- 49:22Speaker 7: thank you for sending it to me. I appreciate it.
- 49:24Speaker 6: Yeah, you're the only one that I was able I
- 49:26Speaker 6: personally was able to send one out to Still I
- 49:28Speaker 6: still don't have the other samples yet I have I
- 49:30Speaker 6: have one here one Lucy.
- 49:31Speaker 7: But Brian, you don't have that, right, Brian, I do
- 49:36Speaker 7: not have a pre order and I'm just waiting.
- 49:39Speaker 9: That's okay, Brian, I don't have one either.
- 49:45Speaker 3: So after all this time in the toy business, Like,
- 49:47Speaker 3: what's what's still on your guys bucket list? Is there
- 49:50Speaker 3: something that you know you'd like to accomplish that you
- 49:53Speaker 3: dream about still get done?
- 49:57Speaker 9: WCW luchadors Man like so many of the those guys
- 50:01Speaker 9: would love to get. I'm under a deal Psychosis park.
- 50:07Speaker 7: Day, Night War Series, the Rule in general.
- 50:11Speaker 9: I mean Bill de La Parker, chairman of the board. Yeah, yeah,
- 50:19Speaker 9: I mean that's one where those guys were just action
- 50:21Speaker 9: figures in themselves. So that that's top of mind for me.
- 50:27Speaker 8: For me, I have never had a chance to do
- 50:28Speaker 8: any of these guys that I grew up watching, So
- 50:30Speaker 8: I'm excited for this opportunity, like start doing Caine Xpac
- 50:33Speaker 8: all the Money Network people will be working on.
- 50:35Speaker 10: I'm really good for that.
- 50:37Speaker 6: Like it's all new to me.
- 50:38Speaker 10: Sounds pretty hyped.
- 50:41Speaker 6: I've checked off so many Every year I make these
- 50:46Speaker 6: lists of like what I want to try to make happen,
- 50:48Speaker 6: and some things have to carry forward like several years,
- 50:51Speaker 6: like Referee, Gobbledy Cooker, Papa Shanko, Ultimate, like all these things. Now,
- 50:57Speaker 6: I just think it's just expanding that legends list that
- 51:02Speaker 6: we have with guys that we never thought were possible,
- 51:05Speaker 6: and you know, things are ever evolving with WW so
- 51:08Speaker 6: maybe I'll get to them. Maybe. I mean Rob mentioned
- 51:11Speaker 6: the Bluccha doors. My god, that'd be great to be
- 51:14Speaker 6: able to to incorporate those, but just more names, more
- 51:17Speaker 6: names we've never done before.
- 51:22Speaker 4: We didn't have talked about the ultimates a lot here,
- 51:26Speaker 4: So I think that like the sentiment among the podcast guys,
- 51:30Speaker 4: or at least when they first started coming out, we
- 51:31Speaker 4: were under the impression that ultimates would be maybe six
- 51:35Speaker 4: a year. We thought they were going to be you know,
- 51:39Speaker 4: it would take you a long time to have like
- 51:41Speaker 4: a fig fed of ultimates, but they ended up being
- 51:44Speaker 4: you guys are just banging them out. We're getting Monday
- 51:47Speaker 4: Night Wars guys, we're getting throwbacks current guys. It's it's
- 51:51Speaker 4: pretty unbelievable where you could just have just ultimates and
- 51:55Speaker 4: have complete collections.
- 51:57Speaker 7: Was that always just collected Ultimate?
- 52:00Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 52:01Speaker 4: Was that always the intent? To like see how this
- 52:03Speaker 4: goes and then just ramp them up. Or did you
- 52:05Speaker 4: guys also think that it was going to be six
- 52:09Speaker 4: a year or something.
- 52:10Speaker 6: I never thought it would become what it has become.
- 52:14Speaker 6: I knew it might grow a little more than what
- 52:16Speaker 6: we were doing because we out of the gate, we
- 52:18Speaker 6: already grew it more. It replaced that slot of like
- 52:21Speaker 6: defining moments and entrance grates, that higher price point slot
- 52:27Speaker 6: for us. And you know, we had problems because you
- 52:32Speaker 6: shipped so many because they were quarterly at the time,
- 52:35Speaker 6: and then you know, you wind up putting a ton
- 52:37Speaker 6: of them on clearance and then the line it's performance
- 52:42Speaker 6: goes into question. So we doubled that, right, and we
- 52:46Speaker 6: had two per waves, so I think it was eight
- 52:48Speaker 6: figures per year to start with. And then I knew
- 52:52Speaker 6: we'd do some exclusives, probably here and there. I tried
- 52:54Speaker 6: to get some Jamacho Man to be an ultimate, but
- 52:57Speaker 6: that was shut down. Why does it need to exposing myself? Yeah,
- 53:04Speaker 6: but yeah, why does it need to be an ultimate?
- 53:05Speaker 6: Was said to me. But it's they just do so well,
- 53:10Speaker 6: They do so incredibly well. We we had no choice
- 53:13Speaker 6: then but to slowly ramp things up. And everyone wants
- 53:16Speaker 6: them as exclusives, and you know, we needed to add
- 53:19Speaker 6: more waves per year, and now we're we have to
- 53:21Speaker 6: re release them once again, so we're not overshipping anything.
- 53:25Speaker 6: And I'm really proud that that's something that that this regime.
- 53:28Speaker 6: Magic was involved in that process too, my myself, Bill Rob.
- 53:33Speaker 6: We made something happen here that really is lasting the
- 53:36Speaker 6: test of time, which is really crazy to think about.
- 53:40Speaker 9: Yeah, when the first came out, it was supposed to
- 53:42Speaker 9: be just like this would be like your finite figure
- 53:45Speaker 9: of your favorite superstar, but strike while the iron's hot,
- 53:50Speaker 9: and the iron has been like white hot, and now
- 53:53Speaker 9: it's kind of become like the Papa.
- 53:55Speaker 10: Shava Warrior the Greatest Grudges two pack.
- 53:58Speaker 9: It's like become now you can and recreate these unforgettable
- 54:03Speaker 9: moments in like not just putting two figures next to
- 54:05Speaker 9: each other, but like the finite detail of some of
- 54:08Speaker 9: these moments. It's it's pretty spectacular that you wouldn't be
- 54:12Speaker 9: able to get Warrior with like the bleeding Head dripping with.
- 54:15Speaker 7: The Black Ooze as a regular.
- 54:17Speaker 9: Figure, probably not, but as a spare ahead you can,
- 54:20Speaker 9: and and it's it's it opens the doors for so
- 54:27Speaker 9: many different opportunities the Coliseum collection recreating like the LGN line,
- 54:33Speaker 9: it's it's pretty amazing, kind of like what it's opened
- 54:36Speaker 9: the doors toill definitely wasn't the plan, but what it's
- 54:38Speaker 9: kind of evolved into has been just like nothing short
- 54:42Speaker 9: of spectacular.
- 54:45Speaker 2: And speaking of the Colosseum collection, I think that's one
- 54:47Speaker 2: of my favorite things you guys do, is how about that?
- 54:49Speaker 7: Is that going to live on?
- 54:50Speaker 6: Or So we have more sets that we have not
- 54:55Speaker 6: announced yet and they're kind of in the same boat
- 54:59Speaker 6: as retros in the discussion phase of twenty twenty six now,
- 55:03Speaker 6: so they're on the table. We just got to get
- 55:05Speaker 6: those approval approvals from senior leadership on moving forward with them.
- 55:11Speaker 6: So I'm hopeful, you know, the well is running dry
- 55:14Speaker 6: unless we get some deals of viable pairings. But but
- 55:20Speaker 6: I think that's going to happen. I think, you know,
- 55:21Speaker 6: there's some some names that have been tossed my way
- 55:24Speaker 6: that are very exciting that are perfect for coliseum collections.
- 55:27Speaker 6: So we'll see cool.
- 55:28Speaker 9: Ted RCD and Corporal cursoner.
- 55:33Speaker 5: Different heads, double st Jones with the two with the
- 55:39Speaker 5: red shirt and.
- 55:39Speaker 7: The other sho man.
- 55:42Speaker 3: That'd be awesome, Steve. Steve said it before. I'm gonna
- 55:47Speaker 3: put you in the hot seat. You mentioned the one
- 55:50Speaker 3: and only macho man. Any updates, You don't have to
- 55:55Speaker 3: give us a finite answer, but give us something nothing,
- 55:59Speaker 3: nothing on that front like what we see man, Mattel product.
- 56:04Speaker 6: I mean, you might know more than me. You're you're
- 56:06Speaker 6: working with them or working with his people.
- 56:08Speaker 7: But I love the checks we're sending.
- 56:11Speaker 6: I think it's it's gonna happen. There's no way he
- 56:15Speaker 6: doesn't come back into that.
- 56:16Speaker 7: That's crazy.
- 56:18Speaker 6: But you know, maybe the break is good and then
- 56:21Speaker 6: he'll come back. He'll come out of the gate hot
- 56:23Speaker 6: whenever that does happen, and and it's on at that moment.
- 56:28Speaker 6: But but yeah, no updates. Unfortunately up to you whether
- 56:33Speaker 6: you buy things on the black market or not.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Well, guys, we've had you for an hour. We don't
