- 0:01Speaker 1: We did it the drafts are in the can all
- 0:06Speaker 1: three of our leagues are done we drafted our teams
- 0:10Speaker 1: who did we get let's break it all down for you.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Did every guy on your bench go off? Did you
- 0:21Speaker 2: decide to set your top scorer because you had a hunch?
- 0:26Speaker 2: Did your drafting a kicker in the first round strategy
- 0:29Speaker 2: not pay off?
- 0:30Speaker 3: Then this is the show for you.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Now here to help you set your lineups every week,
- 0:37Speaker 2: it's Eddie and Thor with Fantasy Frickin' Football.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Well, obviously, it depends when you're listening to this, but
- 0:45Speaker 1: tonight is the night. You know, we're doing this on Wednesday,
- 0:48Speaker 1: and tonight is opening night of the NFL season, so
- 0:52Speaker 1: we've got Seahawks, Patriots tonight. Crazy that it's here already,
- 0:56Speaker 1: and you've got to set your lineups, and you've got
- 0:58Speaker 1: to start thinking about all this stuff.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's awesome.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Look at the waiver wire. Like, okay, already? After a draft?
- 1:03Speaker 1: But yeah, man, we did our drafts. Now, we're both
- 1:07Speaker 1: in two leagues together, and then we have separate leagues
- 1:10Speaker 1: that we do as well, so It gets to be
- 1:13Speaker 1: a lot, to be honest with you, where you got
- 1:15Speaker 1: so many different teams going on. Now, weirdly enough, in
- 1:19Speaker 1: two of my leagues, I had the exact same spot
- 1:23Speaker 1: I was drafting. I was in the nine spot. And
- 1:25Speaker 1: so kind of weird. And I'm also like, I wanted
- 1:28Speaker 1: to kind of take different players because I was like,
- 1:31Speaker 1: I don't want the same team. But weirdly, when you're
- 1:34Speaker 1: in that spot, the guys that you drafted in the
- 1:38Speaker 1: first league were kind of end up being there in
- 1:41Speaker 1: the second league because it's all around the same spots.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I had to tell myself, is this guy worth having
- 1:48Speaker 1: in two different leagues enough? That was the decisions that
- 1:52Speaker 1: I was having to make in both of those leagues.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Then I did my last draft was my OG league
- 1:58Speaker 1: that I've been in in 27 years. That league is
- 2:01Speaker 1: a little different, scored differently A bunch of old guys
- 2:04Speaker 1: who don't really know football anymore. And so that league,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I ended up drafting in the sixth spot. So I
- 2:10Speaker 1: was right dead set in the middle, which I kind
- 2:12Speaker 1: of like because I don't have to wait too long
- 2:14Speaker 1: both ways. But you're also not getting the best or
- 2:17Speaker 1: the worst. It's kind of a weird spot, but I
- 2:19Speaker 1: don't mind it. So I actually prefer sixth than ninth.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Ninth is awful. I was not happy about that, but
- 2:27Speaker 1: it was. What spots did you get?
- 2:28Speaker 3: I ended up in the three leagues I'm in, one, four,
- 2:31Speaker 3: and 11. 1, 4, and 11.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Well, those are wildly different.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Yeah, 1 and 4, you kind of have some of
- 2:38Speaker 3: the same guys. 11 is completely different. 11 is just
- 2:41Speaker 3: totally different. I actually like 11 and 12 or 1
- 2:44Speaker 3: and 2.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I know a lot of people do because of the snake.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I actually like that because with 11 and 1,
- 2:51Speaker 3: you could really– one of the strategies I used this
- 2:54Speaker 3: year that I hadn't really used in the past is
- 2:56Speaker 3: I was really focusing on everyone else's draft. So if
- 3:00Speaker 3: I'm at 11 and I know I'm not picking for
- 3:02Speaker 3: a while, I start to look and I say, okay,
- 3:05Speaker 3: about seven of these 10 teams or nine of these
- 3:09Speaker 3: 11 teams have tight ends. So I could go, okay,
- 3:13Speaker 3: I'm not going to pick this tight end now because
- 3:15Speaker 3: I know when it comes back, I should get this
- 3:18Speaker 3: tight end that I want.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Oh, you don't normally do that?
- 3:19Speaker 2: No.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I always do that. I wasn't doing that.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I wasn't looking at other teams.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Depending on positions.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, depending on positions. Or like, okay, this person has
- 3:27Speaker 3: four receivers, so I'm not going to reach. Because sometimes
- 3:30Speaker 3: if you're at 11 or 1, you kind of have
- 3:32Speaker 3: to reach for a guy if you want that guy. Yeah,
- 3:34Speaker 3: of course. So that's what I was doing this time.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I do that quite often. I did that last
- 3:40Speaker 1: night in my OG league with quarterbacks.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Because quarterback, all of them went pretty early. And I
- 3:44Speaker 1: was like, all right, well, I kind of know that
- 3:46Speaker 1: me and like one other guy, new quarterback. So I
- 3:48Speaker 1: don't really have to. I'm going to end up with
- 3:50Speaker 1: somebody I don't really want anyway. And so I'm just
- 3:53Speaker 1: going to wait and I'll take him late.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:54Speaker 1: It is what it is. All right. So let's break
- 3:56Speaker 1: down our teams here. Let's start with our work league,
- 3:58Speaker 1: our I heart league. OK, we'll go with that one first.
- 4:02Speaker 1: In that one, you had the number four pick.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Obviously, you're going to have Jameer Gibbs. You had Bijan go.
- 4:09Speaker 3: And then Jamar Chase.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And then it was Jamar Chase. And so you were up.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You're on the clock.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I was up. And I just, at the time, I just,
- 4:15Speaker 3: I'm not 100% sure that Puka Nakua was going to
- 4:18Speaker 3: get suspended. Now, since then.
- 4:19Speaker 1: He's biting everybody.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Yeah, since then, Adam Schefter came out and said he's
- 4:22Speaker 3: probably not going to get suspended, which is so crazy. Like,
- 4:25Speaker 3: it's like they want the Rams to win the Super
- 4:27Speaker 3: Bowl this year. Like, how does he not get suspended?
- 4:29Speaker 3: The chick has an insane bite mark on her.
- 4:32Speaker 1: But whatever. You still got to prove that it is.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I get it. I get it. So I didn't take him.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Although Josh Jacobs is done.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Was that a big discussion at any of your drafts?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Josh Jacobs and what to do with him.
- 4:43Speaker 3: What to do with him.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And then there was the one guy who takes him
- 4:45Speaker 1: and you're like, all right, well, good luck, man. I
- 4:46Speaker 1: don't know.
- 4:47Speaker 3: So I also think at four, I kind of have
- 4:50Speaker 3: to take a running back in that spot because when
- 4:53Speaker 3: it comes back, I didn't know who was going to
- 4:55Speaker 3: be left. So I went with Jonathan Taylor. And I
- 4:58Speaker 3: didn't want to because I can't stand the Colts.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But you like Jonathan Taylor.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I like Jonathan Taylor. I just can't stand Daniel Jones.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I don't want to watch Colts games. So he's ruined
- 5:05Speaker 1: the Colts for you?
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I won't take any other Colts.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So then I had nine, and I'm sitting there, and
- 5:12Speaker 1: it's half-point PPR. So I was kind of looking at
- 5:14Speaker 1: wide receiver. And so whenever you kind of have whatever
- 5:19Speaker 1: strategy you go into, I do feel like at some
- 5:21Speaker 1: point you might– sacrifice a certain position. And so for
- 5:26Speaker 1: me this year, I kind of sacrificed running back to
- 5:28Speaker 1: go a little bit more heavy on wide receiver and
- 5:30Speaker 1: things like that. And so I was shocked that he
- 5:33Speaker 1: was still there at nine. He fell all the way
- 5:35Speaker 1: to nine to me, and I got Jackson, Smith, and Jigba,
- 5:39Speaker 1: which I think he's probably top six, in my opinion. Obviously, PPR,
- 5:45Speaker 1: he's worth a little bit more, but half-point PPR, I
- 5:47Speaker 1: was like, okay, I'll take Jackson. I thought that was
- 5:50Speaker 1: a decent pick at nine, and I was pretty happy
- 5:52Speaker 1: with that. And so where I ended up going a
- 5:56Speaker 1: little rogue is I had this guy targeted– in both
- 6:01Speaker 1: of our leagues that we're in together and I and
- 6:03Speaker 1: I knew if he wasn't taken I was gonna reach
- 6:07Speaker 1: for him early because I really wanted him because I've
- 6:10Speaker 1: had him before and he scores crazy amounts of points
- 6:13Speaker 1: he's almost guaranteed over 20 points no matter what league
- 6:16Speaker 1: he's in I wanted Josh Allen yeah and so I
- 6:19Speaker 1: wasn't messing around it came back around to me in
- 6:21Speaker 1: the second round and I know you it's a reach
- 6:24Speaker 1: because his quarterback doesn't usually go that high, but I
- 6:27Speaker 1: didn't care because to me he's more than that. He's
- 6:29Speaker 1: a running back. He's everything, and he scores such crazy points,
- 6:33Speaker 1: especially if he runs them in and stuff like that.
- 6:35Speaker 3: And he can have a game where he doesn't do
- 6:37Speaker 3: anything for three and a half quarters and then all
- 6:39Speaker 3: of a sudden have 25 points.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Absolutely. I've seen it happen before. And so I was like,
- 6:43Speaker 1: all right, I'm getting Josh Allen. I don't care. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: so I reached for him in the second round, didn't care,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and I did that in both leagues. So I got
- 6:49Speaker 1: Josh Allen as my quarterback.
- 6:50Speaker 3: That's great.
- 6:51Speaker 1: And so overall, this is what my team looks like.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I got Josh Allen at quarterback. My running backs are
- 6:56Speaker 1: Kyron Williams and Darian Price. Now, you've heard me talk
- 7:00Speaker 1: about rookies. I don't like rookies.
- 7:02Speaker 3: No, I know.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I always stay away from them. But my running backs
- 7:05Speaker 1: were pretty weak at that point when I came around.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And so I kind of was like, I'm screwed. At
- 7:10Speaker 1: least I know he's the starter there. And so it
- 7:13Speaker 1: is a total risk. But I ended up going with
- 7:15Speaker 1: Jadarian Price. Like I said, I got Jackson Smith and Jigba.
- 7:18Speaker 1: My other wide receiver, I went with Mike Evans. I'm
- 7:21Speaker 1: a Niner fan. So, I mean, that was kind of like,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I'm rolling the dice. Hopefully he's healthy.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I mean, he'll probably miss a game or two with
- 7:27Speaker 3: a hamstring injury at some point.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I hope not.
- 7:29Speaker 3: But.
- 7:30Speaker 1: But whatever. So I got Mike Evans. My tight end
- 7:32Speaker 1: is Colston Loveland, who I'm pretty high on. I like Loveland,
- 7:37Speaker 1: and so I got him. I got DK Metcalf, Jordan Mason,
- 7:40Speaker 1: Matthew Golden, RJ Harvey, Dalton Schultz, Baker Mayfield is my
- 7:45Speaker 1: backup quarterback, kicker, Kaimi Fairbairn, and then my defense is Eagles.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So that's with our work league.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, in our work league, I went Jonathan Taylor, Brees Hall.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You were big on Brees Hall.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Brees Hall. The Jets– Listen, I get that they're the Jets,
- 8:00Speaker 3: but their offensive line is really good, and they're going
- 8:03Speaker 3: to be better. Are they going to win eight, nine games?
- 8:06Speaker 3: Probably not.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Not with Geno Smith.
- 8:08Speaker 3: But I think they can win seven games and have
- 8:10Speaker 3: a decent offense.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You're listening to too much sports radio in New York.
- 8:14Speaker 3: They hate the Jets. It's the Jets. I just think
- 8:17Speaker 3: that they're going to be better than people think, but
- 8:20Speaker 3: that doesn't mean they're going to make the playoffs.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But we've been waiting for Brees Hall to have this
- 8:25Speaker 1: kind of breakout year for, I feel like, four years now.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And he does okay. He's good. But he doesn't have
- 8:32Speaker 1: that big season that you keep expecting. We'll see.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I did pick up Braylon Allen as backup, just to
- 8:38Speaker 3: be safe.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Well, handcuff action. Thank you.
- 8:40Speaker 3: And then I picked up George Pickens, who I think
- 8:43Speaker 3: will have a better year than CeeDee Lamp. I don't agree.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I think George Pickens had 430 yards, nine touchdowns last year.
- 8:50Speaker 3: He's great.
- 8:50Speaker 1: They're both great. They're the best one-two in the league.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think you can't go wrong with either.
- 8:57Speaker 3: And I think in this year, George Pickens' contract year,
- 9:00Speaker 3: I just think Pickens, this is the year for a
- 9:02Speaker 3: Georgia boy.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I think CeeDee Lamb is one. Okay, he's the one.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And he's got more talent to me than George Pickens does.
- 9:11Speaker 1: And so I like CeeDee Lamb more than Pickens. But
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm sort of in agreement that you can't really go
- 9:20Speaker 1: wrong with either guy. But if I was picking... If
- 9:22Speaker 1: I had both of them on the board, I'm picking
- 9:24Speaker 1: Lamb first easily. So that's me.
- 9:26Speaker 3: So then I picked DJ Moore from Buffalo. And then
- 9:31Speaker 3: Christian Watson, who's one of those guys that you just
- 9:34Speaker 3: think will be a darling pick. And then I picked,
- 9:36Speaker 3: let's see here, Michael Wilson, Blake Corum, Aaron Rodgers as
- 9:40Speaker 3: a backup because my main quarterback is Jackson Dart. Oh, God.
- 9:44Speaker 3: That's right. Jackson Dart.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Really?
- 9:48Speaker 3: That's right.
- 9:48Speaker 1: He's going to rush for touchdowns.
- 9:50Speaker 3: We don't know. Fantasy-wise.
- 9:50Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I mean, he rushed for a bunch last year.
- 9:53Speaker 1: And then he got concussed, like, every game.
- 9:54Speaker 3: He didn't get concussed.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I mean, basically every game.
- 9:56Speaker 3: He had one concussion. And then my tight ends are.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Johnson, and then I've also got Ramadre Stevenson, too. Chargers D,
- 10:04Speaker 3: Eddie Pinheiro. So with defense, I like to add and
- 10:07Speaker 3: drop as I go along.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 3: So that's how I roll with defense.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I like to see who the matchups are.
- 10:12Speaker 3: So the Chargers play the Cardinals, and then I forgot
- 10:14Speaker 3: who they play next week. So the first two weeks,
- 10:16Speaker 3: I'm going to start the Chargers defense.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Just based on who they play. Then over in our
- 10:20Speaker 1: buddies league, this is the league that I've been in, what,
- 10:23Speaker 1: four years now, I think? But, Thor, you've been in
- 10:26Speaker 1: that league forever.
- 10:27Speaker 3: 15 years.
- 10:28Speaker 1: This is full PPR.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 1: And so a little bit different. You had the– this
- 10:32Speaker 1: is the one where you had the 11th pick. I
- 10:34Speaker 1: still was at nine. Yep. And so in this league,
- 10:37Speaker 1: since it's full PPR, I kind of had it in
- 10:39Speaker 1: my mind I was going to go wide receiver, but
- 10:41Speaker 1: the way it fell– There was a lot, like the
- 10:44Speaker 1: bigger name wide receivers were gone and it went kind
- 10:46Speaker 1: of running back heavy, which surprised me a little bit.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I don't know if you felt the same way.
- 10:49Speaker 3: This league always leans running back heavy for some reason.
- 10:52Speaker 3: It's PPR.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I don't know why. It's just kind of weird to me.
- 10:54Speaker 1: So I had some choices there at that spot. I
- 11:00Speaker 1: could have gone with James Cook. but I wanted to
- 11:03Speaker 1: get a wide receiver. And so I went with Amon
- 11:05Speaker 1: Ross St.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Brown.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And, and I thought on the other side, you know,
- 11:09Speaker 1: I had it in my mind, I'm going to get
- 11:10Speaker 1: Josh Allen. So I didn't want to draft cook really there.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And so, and I knew nobody else was going to
- 11:15Speaker 1: take Josh Allen. So I knew that was my plan
- 11:18Speaker 1: all the way through. So I did end up getting
- 11:19Speaker 1: Josh Allen in the second round. Got a big stir,
- 11:22Speaker 1: big murmur, but I don't care. That's who I wanted.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Then my running backs in that league, I kind of
- 11:27Speaker 1: stole your thunder and took Brees Hall.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that sucked.
- 11:30Speaker 1: I know I did that on purpose.
- 11:31Speaker 3: That sucked.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Just to mess with you. Travis Etienne I got. Amon
- 11:35Speaker 1: Ra is my wide receiver with Marvin Harrison. Now, Marvin Harrison, again,
- 11:39Speaker 1: another guy that you've been waiting to have that breakout year,
- 11:43Speaker 1: and he hasn't happened yet, but I'm I don't know
- 11:47Speaker 1: why he's one of those guys that I kind of
- 11:48Speaker 1: feel like he might have a big year.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yep.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Could be, could mean, I don't know.
- 11:52Speaker 3: I don't know him or Michael Wilson. Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. I don't know. Uh, then
- 11:58Speaker 1: I got Colston Loveland again, and that was, again, I'm
- 12:00Speaker 1: in that nine spot and I'm like, man, what I
- 12:02Speaker 1: don't know. He was there. And so I took him, uh,
- 12:04Speaker 1: Cortland Slutton is on my team. The guy that both
- 12:08Speaker 1: Thor and I said is going to be possibly a
- 12:10Speaker 1: fantasy darling, uh, sleeper pick Blake Corum.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And so I got Blake Corum, and that got a
- 12:15Speaker 1: big reaction because I guess there was a couple guys
- 12:17Speaker 1: that maybe listened to our show and they wanted Corum.
- 12:20Speaker 1: And so they were bummed out about that. I got
- 12:22Speaker 1: Aaron Jones, Jake Ferguson, Brock Purdy is my backup. And
- 12:26Speaker 1: then one guy that I took a flyer on that
- 12:28Speaker 1: I'm hoping has big gear. Again, I don't believe in
- 12:30Speaker 1: rookies unless they're late. And this guy was, I think
- 12:32Speaker 1: my last pick, was Makai Lemon.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:35Speaker 1: From the Eagles. He's their top pick.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Weird interviews. Weird face.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Bizarre guy.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Who knows what.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Will happen on the field. Bizarre guy.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 1: And so that's my team.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah. What about you? Yeah, I took Justin Jefferson at 11.
- 12:46Speaker 3: And I was going to go running back.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That surprised me because I kind of felt like you.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going to go running back, running back. But, man,
- 12:53Speaker 3: I mean, people are forgetting how good Justin Jefferson is.
- 12:57Speaker 3: And last year.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Well, he had such a bad year last year.
- 12:58Speaker 3: He had such a bad year.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But that wasn't his fault?
- 12:59Speaker 3: That wasn't his fault. Yeah. So, and I think Kyler Murray.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Kyler Murray is not a top-ten quarterback, but he's good
- 13:05Speaker 3: enough to get the ball to Justin Jefferson. And then
- 13:07Speaker 3: I took– this was tough. It was either going to
- 13:09Speaker 3: be Saquon or Chase Brown. And to me, I just
- 13:13Speaker 3: went with a guy who I– I think Saquon will
- 13:15Speaker 3: have a bounce-back year.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And I think– Yeah, but you hate Saquon. I do.
- 13:19Speaker 3: But it just went down to who I think is
- 13:21Speaker 3: more reliable. And I just went with Saquon.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Yeah, but you hate Saquon. I know. How are you
- 13:26Speaker 1: going to root for him?
- 13:27Speaker 3: It's going to be tough. And then a Brees Hall–
- 13:30Speaker 3: it's at nine. And Brees Hall and Chris Alave are
- 13:33Speaker 3: sitting right there. And I'm like, if I can get
- 13:35Speaker 3: Justin Jefferson, Saquon, and then one of those two guys,
- 13:39Speaker 3: I will be so freaking pumped. And then they both
- 13:42Speaker 3: went back to back. That sucked. If I would have
- 13:45Speaker 3: gotten Alave, because I think Alave is prime for a
- 13:48Speaker 3: big breakout year. But man, that sucked. So then I
- 13:51Speaker 3: kind of was stuck in like, I don't know what
- 13:53Speaker 3: to do. So I think Sean Payton doesn't make moves
- 13:57Speaker 3: like this unless they're going to be studs. And he
- 14:00Speaker 3: went out and traded a first-round pick for Jalen Waddell.
- 14:02Speaker 3: So my hope is that Jalen Waddell finally reaches the
- 14:06Speaker 3: potential that people think he had when he got drafted
- 14:08Speaker 3: in the top 10. So I took Jalen Waddell.
- 14:10Speaker 1: That surprised me a little bit.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I didn't see that coming.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I was going to take Garrett Wilson, but the fact
- 14:16Speaker 3: of having two people on the Jets offense on two
- 14:18Speaker 3: different teams scared me.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:20Speaker 3: So then I took Zay Flowers, and then I took
- 14:25Speaker 3: Bucky Irvin, Ramadre Stevenson. Rico Dowiddle is also a guy
- 14:29Speaker 3: I have because I know Jalen Warren's the guy right now.
- 14:32Speaker 1: That's a sneaky good pick.
- 14:33Speaker 3: But I think Rico.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I agree.
- 14:35Speaker 3: He's played with McCarthy before.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I agree.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Wondell Robinson with the Titans, PPR, Romeo Dobbs.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Former Giant.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Kyler Murray as my backup because my starter.
- 14:45Speaker 1: The Dart man. So in both leagues, you went Jackson Dart.
- 14:47Speaker 3: That's right, baby.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Come on, bro.
- 14:49Speaker 3: And then I waited into the 12th or 12th round
- 14:51Speaker 3: to take a tight end. So there was no good.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Because somebody took Isaiah Likely and you wanted him, right?
- 14:58Speaker 3: No, I took Isaiah Likely.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Oh, and there was the other one.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Isaiah Likely is going to have a lot of balls
- 15:03Speaker 3: thrown at him this way. I don't know if he's
- 15:05Speaker 3: going to be good or not.
- 15:05Speaker 1: From Jackson Dart?
- 15:06Speaker 3: From Jackson Dart. He's going to have a lot of
- 15:07Speaker 3: balls thrown at him. And I didn't want to take
- 15:09Speaker 3: Jawan Johnson again, so I took Isaiah Likely. But those
- 15:11Speaker 3: are the only two Giants I took in all my drafts. So,
- 15:15Speaker 3: thank you.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Because I passed on Malik Nabors multiple times.
- 15:20Speaker 1: That is crazy.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I just don't want to.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You're worried about week one?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Week one. And I just, I don't want to risk
- 15:27Speaker 3: it yet, man.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. And then my final league, which is my
- 15:30Speaker 1: OG league, like I said, I feel like my team
- 15:33Speaker 1: is crazy loaded because a lot of these guys, they're
- 15:36Speaker 1: just older. They want to stay connected to football, but
- 15:39Speaker 1: they don't really watch that much. And so I swear
- 15:42Speaker 1: to God, dude, one guy drafted a team that in 2021,
- 15:46Speaker 1: this would have been the greatest team of all time.
- 15:47Speaker 1: He has Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelsey, Cooper Cup. I mean,
- 15:52Speaker 1: like Derek Henry, like all these guys that, cause he
- 15:55Speaker 1: knows those names, but I'm also like, you realize this
- 16:00Speaker 1: is 2026. Like this is, I don't know that those,
- 16:02Speaker 1: Travis Kelsey, he acted like that was the steal of
- 16:04Speaker 1: the draft. And I'm like, I wouldn't touch Travis Kelsey.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Like that's crazy. So in that league, I had the
- 16:10Speaker 1: sixth pick and that league went running back heavy. I
- 16:15Speaker 1: think all five picks were running backs. And I was
- 16:16Speaker 1: sitting there at six, and I'm like, ooh, I don't
- 16:18Speaker 1: want to be screwed again with no running back. And
- 16:22Speaker 1: I wasn't going to take Josh Allen again in that league.
- 16:24Speaker 1: And so I actually took James Cook with my first pick.
- 16:28Speaker 1: And so I was happy with that. I mean, the
- 16:29Speaker 1: guy had an incredible year last year. And I was
- 16:32Speaker 1: just like, I liked him a lot last year. So
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm loaded at running back. I went James Cook with
- 16:38Speaker 1: Devon Achan, which I'm like, dude, I mean, I'm not
- 16:41Speaker 1: the biggest Dolphin fan. I don't think that they're going
- 16:43Speaker 1: to have a great season, but that's all they got.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Then third round, crazy enough, I got George Pickens. So
- 16:49Speaker 1: I was happy about that. That's huge. You're going to
- 16:54Speaker 1: think this is kind of crazy. I went back-to-back tight end.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Really?
- 16:59Speaker 1: So I got Brock Bowers, who's the top tight end.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Him and Trey McBride, one or two. And then when
- 17:04Speaker 1: it came back around to me, Tyler Warren was still there.
- 17:07Speaker 1: And I like Tyler Warren a lot.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but who's throwing him the ball?
- 17:11Speaker 1: Your boy. And so I went, you know what? It's
- 17:14Speaker 1: a risk, and I can put him in the flex spot,
- 17:17Speaker 1: so why not? And so to me, he was too
- 17:20Speaker 1: good to pass up. And so I got Tyler Warren.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I did, oh. this was the craziest one yet is
- 17:26Speaker 1: that I'm sitting there and I'm, you know, again, with
- 17:29Speaker 1: a lot of older guys and they don't really know
- 17:31Speaker 1: football and I'm seeing the guy and I'm one point
- 17:34Speaker 1: in my mind, I'm like, is he, did somebody take him?
- 17:37Speaker 1: And I missed it. Like, but I'm, I'm a guy
- 17:39Speaker 1: who usually is locked in. I hate when people take
- 17:42Speaker 1: a guy and he's been gone for four rounds or whatever.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Nothing drives me more nuts. But I'm like, there's no
- 17:48Speaker 1: way this guy's still on the board. But they just
- 17:50Speaker 1: don't really pay attention to stuff. And Jeremiah Love is
- 17:54Speaker 1: still sitting there late. I mean, it must have been
- 17:56Speaker 1: like sixth, seventh round or something like that, which is insane.
- 17:59Speaker 1: And I already have my running backs. I'm set at
- 18:01Speaker 1: running back. But I'm also like, you know, flex spot, obviously, too,
- 18:05Speaker 1: if I don't want to go too tight end set.
- 18:07Speaker 1: And I'm like, well, why would I not take Jeremiah Love?
- 18:09Speaker 1: I know he's banged up. He's a rookie. But he's
- 18:11Speaker 1: still Jeremiah Love. I mean, he's one of the best
- 18:14Speaker 1: rookie running backs should be. around so i i took him.
- 18:17Speaker 3: And you don't need to start him in week one
- 18:18Speaker 3: because no.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And i got and i got studs yeah so not
- 18:22Speaker 1: really about him uh i got terry mclaren in that
- 18:24Speaker 1: league i got parker washington which i know is a
- 18:26Speaker 1: big darling pick for a lot of guys you know
- 18:29Speaker 1: they all love him uh and then that was the
- 18:30Speaker 1: league where i waited on quarterback but i still ended
- 18:33Speaker 1: up with a pretty good guy i got caleb williams
- 18:35Speaker 1: yeah so hopefully he repeats what he did last year
- 18:37Speaker 1: i mean who knows but uh but that's my.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Team yeah and this other league i'm in i went
- 18:42Speaker 3: i the first.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Pick Jackson Dart?
- 18:44Speaker 3: I went Gibbs.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Oh, you didn't take Jackson Dart?
- 18:46Speaker 3: No, I went Gibbs just because I felt like the
- 18:49Speaker 3: Lions are better than the Falcons.
- 18:52Speaker 1: If I had the number one pick, that's a no-brainer
- 18:54Speaker 1: to me. I'm taking Jameer Gibbs over Bijan.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I took Gibbs, Olave, and Trey McBride in my first
- 18:59Speaker 3: three picks.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Trey McBride is going to be– I had him in
- 19:02Speaker 1: one of our leagues last year, and he was so
- 19:04Speaker 1: good for me.
- 19:05Speaker 3: It came back, and I took Lamar, which is crazy.
- 19:08Speaker 3: I usually always wait for quarterbacks. Oh. And then I
- 19:10Speaker 3: took Metcalf, Bucky Irving, Chris Godwin, Blake Corum, Romeo Dodd.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Oh, you got Corum.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I got Corum. And then I got Menungai because
- 19:20Speaker 3: people weren't taking him because he's injured now. But I
- 19:22Speaker 3: don't need him now.
- 19:23Speaker 1: That guy doesn't score touchdowns.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't need him now. And then I took
- 19:26Speaker 3: Jordan Love as a backup just in case. And Alec Pierce.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good pick.
- 19:31Speaker 3: So I think it's a decent team.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 3: So....
- 19:35Speaker 1: Again, you know, I love when people ask, you know,
- 19:37Speaker 1: how'd your draft go? I don't know. I mean, you
- 19:40Speaker 1: think you have a great draft, and then, yeah, I
- 19:42Speaker 1: don't know.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I walked out of the draft at my buddy's house
- 19:45Speaker 3: when we did the only draft we did live, thinking,
- 19:48Speaker 3: I legitimately was like I think that was a really
- 19:49Speaker 3: good draft I really like that draft and I never
- 19:52Speaker 3: think that and I got an F from Yahoo.
- 19:55Speaker 1: These Yahoo grades this year, like in both of our
- 19:58Speaker 1: leagues that we're in together, I've got Ds for both.
- 20:00Speaker 1: And I'm like, D? Like, really? And I'm looking at
- 20:03Speaker 1: my picks and I'm like, I'm not that far off
- 20:05Speaker 1: of what they're saying.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I don't get what their base is.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Because I'm like, I know I wasn't going to get
- 20:09Speaker 3: an A, but I can't get a C? I got
- 20:12Speaker 3: an F? I walked out of there going, that was
- 20:13Speaker 3: a good draft.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Nah.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Like, I was really feeling it. Nah, you got an F. Oh,
- 20:17Speaker 1: look at that. Not really. Not really. So there you go.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Those are what our teams are going to look like.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Hopefully you had good drafts out there, but we are
- 20:27Speaker 1: in it. We, of course, we're going to answer your
- 20:29Speaker 1: questions every single week. You can hit us up. With
- 20:32Speaker 1: any of your starts or sits or any kind of
- 20:34Speaker 1: question that you got going on as the season goes along,
- 20:37Speaker 1: you can email us your questions every week, or you
- 20:40Speaker 1: can hit us up on X, at the show Eddie,
- 20:44Speaker 1: at the show Thor, and we'll get to your questions
- 20:46Speaker 1: every single week. So we already got questions, which is great.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Week one here, and already people having questions about their
- 20:53Speaker 1: starts and sits. Of course, the first question has to
- 20:57Speaker 1: do with the guy that both of you and I
- 20:59Speaker 1: disagree on, Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker from the Chiefs. He says,
- 21:03Speaker 1: I got Kenneth Walker currently in my RB2 spot. However,
- 21:08Speaker 1: I have Tony Pollard and Ramon J. Stevenson on my bench.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Who would you rather start? It's PPR. Out of those
- 21:15Speaker 1: three guys.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Out of those three. So I'm kind of in the
- 21:18Speaker 3: same boat with different players, but with Ramon J. Stevenson.
- 21:22Speaker 3: You're starting Kenneth Walker, obviously. Here's the thing. I watched
- 21:26Speaker 3: Brian Dayball coach the Giants for four years. All Brian
- 21:30Speaker 3: Dayball cares about is the quarterback and passing. He does
- 21:33Speaker 3: not put together a good run offense. So I wouldn't
- 21:36Speaker 3: touch Tony Pollard or Tajay Spears.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I just wouldn't.
- 21:38Speaker 3: And Stevenson, I know they're going against the Seahawks tonight.
- 21:41Speaker 3: I know it's a tough defensive line, but he's going
- 21:44Speaker 3: to be the bell cow for them until Travion Henderson
- 21:46Speaker 3: comes back. So I'm going Kenneth Walker and Ramadre Stevenson.
- 21:49Speaker 1: But it sounds like this is for the one spot.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Oh, it's for one spot.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I think so.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Oh, well, then I'm going Kenneth Walker. I just have to.
- 21:55Speaker 3: He's the guy. And you drafted him higher than Stevenson. Yeah.
- 21:58Speaker 3: I mean, that would be crazy if you drafted Stevenson
- 21:59Speaker 3: higher than Kenneth Walker. So I'm going with Kenneth Walker.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, that's... Yeah.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Sorry.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I thought it was two out of the three.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah. From what I read, because he says
- 22:10Speaker 1: it's RB2.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you're going to go with Kenneth Walker.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I would agree.
- 22:13Speaker 3: The only reason you would even question... going with Stevenson
- 22:16Speaker 3: is because he's the bell cow tonight, but his matchup sucks. Yeah.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Like I'm stuck between Bucky Irvin or Stevenson. Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 2: You know what?
- 22:22Speaker 1: It's tough because week one, nobody knows. We don't know
- 22:26Speaker 1: anything really going in. Obviously you're going to never not start. Yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You know, you're going to miss it. Bijan. No, of
- 22:32Speaker 1: course not. And so, yeah, there's, there's going to be
- 22:35Speaker 1: some questions in your lineup, but you kind of have
- 22:37Speaker 1: to let some things play out a little bit.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 22:40Speaker 1: So it's going to be interesting. Next question is about
- 22:43Speaker 1: the quarterback spot. Now, Before you react, this is a
- 22:48Speaker 1: quarterback question that says, who would you guys start between
- 22:51Speaker 1: Bo Nix and Jackson Dart?
- 22:53Speaker 3: Wow.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And I think I already know where you're going to go.
- 22:55Speaker 1: But this is interesting.
- 22:58Speaker 3: It's very tough.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Because Bo is coming off an injury.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Bo's coming off an injury. They're playing the Chiefs. And
- 23:03Speaker 3: I think it's in Kansas City, right?
- 23:05Speaker 1: They're playing the Chiefs. I believe so.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's in Kansas City. That's tough. Dart's a brand
- 23:11Speaker 3: new offense. The Cowboys, listen.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Their defense is going to be better than it was
- 23:15Speaker 1: last year.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Their defense was atrocious last year.
- 23:17Speaker 1: So it can't be worse.
- 23:18Speaker 3: It can't be worse, but people are acting like they're
- 23:20Speaker 3: the 85 Bears now because they drafted Caleb Downs.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I got people, I'm looking.
- 23:23Speaker 3: At all these picks going to the Super Bowl. I'm
- 23:26Speaker 3: so over the Cowboys right now.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Okay, you have some bias there.
- 23:30Speaker 3: That's a really tough question. If I take my giantness
- 23:33Speaker 3: out of it, I'd probably lean Bo Nix just because
- 23:40Speaker 3: it's the same offense and it's Sean Payton. And I
- 23:43Speaker 3: just trust them a little bit more.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm going to shock you. Really? I'm going dark.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And I'll tell you why. We're not really helping this guy. Well, listen,
- 23:52Speaker 1: this is shocking. Because Bo Nix is coming off the injury,
- 23:57Speaker 1: I don't foresee that being a high-scoring game. I actually
- 24:00Speaker 1: think it's going to be a little bit lower, take
- 24:02Speaker 1: the under. Cowboys-Giants could be a shootout. So if that's
- 24:07Speaker 1: the case, I don't care who wins any of those games.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I'm just going based on fantasy points. And do I
- 24:12Speaker 1: think Dart has an opportunity to have more points than
- 24:16Speaker 1: Knicks because of that matchup? Yes, I do. I'm not
- 24:19Speaker 1: saying they're going to win. Don't get me wrong. I'm
- 24:22Speaker 1: just saying it could be a shootout. That's it. So relax.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I mean, it should have been twice last year.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Okay, take it easy. So weirdly enough, I'm going to
- 24:29Speaker 1: take Dart if those are my two choices.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree. I kind of think my Giants fandom
- 24:36Speaker 3: is holding me back from taking a dart.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Because you're worried?
- 24:38Speaker 3: Because I'm worried.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:40Speaker 1: All right. Let's get to our starts and sits for
- 24:42Speaker 1: the week. Our first one of the season at quarterback.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Who's your start?
- 24:46Speaker 3: I'm starting Kyler Murray at Green Bay. I think he's
- 24:51Speaker 3: going to come in and he's going to get the
- 24:52Speaker 3: ball to Justin Jefferson.
- 24:53Speaker 1: He's a little hope.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, he's on my bench.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I know, but you have Justin Jefferson.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I have Justin Jefferson. And it's true. And I
- 25:00Speaker 3: feel like Kyler Murray always has good starts to seasons.
- 25:03Speaker 3: And then he kind of fades in the mid to
- 25:05Speaker 3: end of the year. So I think Kyler Murray will
- 25:07Speaker 3: have a good game. And also the Packers are without
- 25:08Speaker 3: Micah Parsons on defense.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah, again, I'm looking at matchups week one because that's
- 25:13Speaker 1: kind of all I can go on because I'm not
- 25:15Speaker 1: really sure what I'm seeing yet. And so I do
- 25:18Speaker 1: like this matchup. I like Jared Goff this week. I
- 25:21Speaker 1: think the Lions are going to come out kind of strong.
- 25:24Speaker 1: They're not completely decimated with injuries yet. So, and the Saints,
- 25:30Speaker 1: I know some people are believers in the Saints. I'm
- 25:32Speaker 1: quite not. I'm not quite there yet.
- 25:33Speaker 3: People love Tyler Shuck for some reason.
- 25:35Speaker 1: He's a good quarterback. I mean, he had a good
- 25:37Speaker 1: rookie year, but I mean, I don't know that he's,
- 25:39Speaker 1: you know. the second coming of Drew Brees. But I
- 25:42Speaker 1: do like Jared Goff this week. I think he has
- 25:44Speaker 1: a good game. So he's my start for the week.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Who's your sit?
- 25:47Speaker 3: Eddie, listen, obviously you're going to start him. So I
- 25:52Speaker 3: do not sit him because I say this, but my
- 25:55Speaker 3: sit this week, Josh Allen. And here's why. What? Josh Allen.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Are you out of your mind? Josh, they're playing at Houston.
- 26:05Speaker 3: And if you don't believe me, Texas is a good defense.
- 26:07Speaker 3: He's played the Texans three times. He's 0-3 and is
- 26:12Speaker 3: awful against the Texans.
- 26:12Speaker 1: So automatically he's going to be 0-4 and be terrible? Automatically?
- 26:17Speaker 3: Until I see it.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Automatically?
- 26:18Speaker 3: I am not playing him this week. What a ridiculous
- 26:20Speaker 3: thing to say. He stinks against the Texans.
- 26:22Speaker 1: He's the MVP.
- 26:23Speaker 3: And he stinks against the Texans.
- 26:26Speaker 2: 0-3.
- 26:26Speaker 1: He's not going to. He's not going to.
- 26:28Speaker 3: It's just a really bad matchup for them to start
- 26:30Speaker 3: the season.
- 26:31Speaker 1: No.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Maybe he turns it around. But they have his number.
- 26:34Speaker 3: They just do.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Obviously, you're going to start him. You have no choice.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I'm not listening to you.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 26:42Speaker 1: My sit this week could have sounded stupid a couple
- 26:45Speaker 1: of years ago, but at this point, I don't know, man.
- 26:48Speaker 1: My sit this week is Patrick Mahomes. He's taking on Denver,
- 26:52Speaker 1: who is already a stud defense, and I'm questioning, why
- 26:56Speaker 1: are you starting Patrick Mahomes? I don't get it. Is
- 26:58Speaker 1: he ready?
- 26:59Speaker 3: There's no way he's 100% recovered.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I'm worried about the guy.
- 27:03Speaker 3: There's no way. And you're playing Denver. Like, just what?
- 27:06Speaker 3: I don't know. I think the Chiefs should have taken
- 27:08Speaker 3: this year as a rebuild year.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Is Taylor Swift even going to be there?
- 27:11Speaker 3: I don't know. It's just, I don't get it. I
- 27:14Speaker 3: saw Mina Kimes say yesterday he's the greatest quarterback of
- 27:17Speaker 3: this generation. And I'm like, is he? He had a
- 27:20Speaker 3: great six-year run, but he's kind of fallen off the
- 27:23Speaker 3: last two years. He just has.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I agree, but you can't discount what he's done.
- 27:28Speaker 3: You can't. But he also got drafted into the most
- 27:31Speaker 3: perfect six-year.
- 27:32Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I get it.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I get it. I get it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I don't think you do. I get it. I don't
- 27:35Speaker 1: think you do.
- 27:36Speaker 3: I get it. I'm just saying.
- 27:38Speaker 1: You can't discount that guy. I need to see him
- 27:40Speaker 1: turn around a little bit. Don't discount that man.
- 27:42Speaker 3: He's unbelievable. He was throwing 45, 50 touchdowns a year, 4,000,
- 27:45Speaker 3: 5,000 yards, and now he's hitting like 26 touchdowns.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well, again, Travis Kelsey got old. They haven't done
- 27:50Speaker 1: a great job with wide receivers. They don't have a
- 27:52Speaker 1: running game. Tyreek Hill, no running game. It's not his fault.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Patrick Mahomes is great. I'm not saying he's not great.
- 27:57Speaker 1: You kind of are.
- 27:58Speaker 3: But it's not the same Patrick Mahomes.
- 27:59Speaker 1: You kind of are. All right. At running back, who
- 28:02Speaker 1: is your start?
- 28:03Speaker 3: My start is, this hurts, Javante Williams. The Giants run
- 28:06Speaker 3: defense stinks. They have no defensive tackles. Their defensive line stinks.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Their pass rushers are great. Arvo Reese is really good
- 28:13Speaker 3: at linebacker. So is Tremaine Edmonds. But until I see it,
- 28:16Speaker 3: I don't believe it.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Can't stop him?
- 28:17Speaker 3: Can't stop the run.
- 28:18Speaker 1: My start this week, you'll probably like because you did
- 28:20Speaker 1: draft him in one of the leagues. I don't really
- 28:23Speaker 1: like a lot of teams that have the kind of
- 28:26Speaker 1: dual running backs, but I think this guy, he's going
- 28:29Speaker 1: to have a breakout game, and I think they're going
- 28:31Speaker 1: to probably go with him most of the way. Rico Dowdle.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I like him. I think he's going to be a
- 28:37Speaker 1: surprise pick for week one, and you're taking on the Falcons.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Should I start him over Stevenson or Bucky Irvin? Because
- 28:45Speaker 3: I have Stevenson going in two leagues, Bucky Irving going
- 28:49Speaker 3: in one league.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you're going to go with guys who
- 28:52Speaker 1: you know are traditionally... This is too much of a risk. Yeah,
- 28:55Speaker 1: but I mean, if you have a guy where you're
- 28:58Speaker 1: just not completely sure, and, you know, it is good
- 29:00Speaker 1: to probably wait and see, but I have this weird
- 29:03Speaker 1: feeling about him. So do I. And I think he's
- 29:05Speaker 1: against the Falcons. I mean, I just don't know. I
- 29:08Speaker 1: think the Falcons are going to be terrible. And so
- 29:09Speaker 1: I like Dowell this week. Who's your sit?
- 29:11Speaker 3: My sit is R.J. Harvey and the Broncos running back room.
- 29:15Speaker 3: because i don't know who the starter is is it
- 29:18Speaker 3: jk dobbins is it rj harvey is it the rookie
- 29:20Speaker 3: jonah coleman i have no idea who the starter is
- 29:23Speaker 3: i'm avoiding that running back room until i see it
- 29:26Speaker 3: and and if you drafted one of those guys as
- 29:28Speaker 3: one of your starters that's it that's.
- 29:30Speaker 1: What i mean when you have multiple running backs not
- 29:33Speaker 1: doing i don't know who to put in until we
- 29:35Speaker 1: see it and and i'm kind of feel that way
- 29:36Speaker 1: about ramon j stevenson when trayvon.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Henderson is yeah and that's and Yeah, exactly.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know.
- 29:41Speaker 3: That's why I'm starting. I'm trying to use him while
- 29:44Speaker 3: I can.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Sure, I get that. Who's your sit?
- 29:47Speaker 3: I said R.J. Harvey and Broncos running back room.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Oh, that's right.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I'm sorry. You're right.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I'm not paying attention to you. My sit this week
- 29:54Speaker 1: is Chris Rodriguez, a guy that people thought that this
- 29:59Speaker 1: was a sneaky good pick and all that stuff. And
- 30:02Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know, man. Again, Jacksonville, their running
- 30:05Speaker 1: back situation, I don't know what exactly they're doing. I
- 30:09Speaker 1: don't really get it, Tootin. I'm just not a big
- 30:12Speaker 1: believer in them. And Chris Rodriguez isn't even the starter.
- 30:16Speaker 1: But some guys were acting like, oh, this guy is
- 30:18Speaker 1: going to be the guy and this and that. And
- 30:19Speaker 1: you're taking on Cleveland, who's not very good, but defensively
- 30:22Speaker 1: they're pretty good. And so that matchup to me is
- 30:25Speaker 1: kind of gross. And so I was like, no, I'm
- 30:27Speaker 1: going to sit that guy. Wide receiver, who's your start?
- 30:29Speaker 3: My start is tonight. I think A.J. Brown has a
- 30:32Speaker 3: monster game.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Monster?
- 30:34Speaker 3: Because that secondary right now is really hurt for the Seahawks.
- 30:38Speaker 3: And A.J. Brown, it comes in waves with A.J. Brown.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I think he has a big game tonight.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Really?
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:43Speaker 1: That's surprising. My start this week is Ladd McConkie.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Really?
- 30:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Ladd McConkie had a little bit of
- 30:52Speaker 1: a downer year last year. Wasn't that great, but I
- 30:54Speaker 1: think he's going to come into his own this year.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Taking on Arizona, who I don't think is going to
- 30:59Speaker 1: be very good. I think the Chargers are going to
- 31:01Speaker 1: be pretty good this year. And so I like Ladd McConkie.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Who is your sit?
- 31:05Speaker 3: This sucks because I'm actually going to sit him and
- 31:09Speaker 3: start Alec Pierce over him. I'm sitting DJ Moore this
- 31:12Speaker 3: week against the Texans.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Oh, dude.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Dude.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I hope Buffalo wins 50 to nothing.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Hey, I hope they do too.
- 31:19Speaker 1: And DJ Moore scores 17 touchdowns.
- 31:21Speaker 3: That would suck. That would really suck. I'm sitting him
- 31:25Speaker 3: this week.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I won't sit him again.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Alec Pierce.
- 31:30Speaker 1: I mean, I got no words. I got no words.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Until Josh Allen plays well against the Texans. The next
- 31:35Speaker 3: time Josh Allen plays well against the Texans will be
- 31:37Speaker 3: the first time.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And this is going to happen Sunday. We'll see.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:40Speaker 1: My sit this week, I think you've heard me say
- 31:43Speaker 1: it now multiple times. I don't like the Falcons. I mean,
- 31:47Speaker 1: you got Tua in at quarterback. So, listen, Drake London
- 31:50Speaker 1: I'm sure is going to have a pretty good year.
- 31:52Speaker 1: He'll be fine.
- 31:53Speaker 3: That's why I didn't draft him.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yeah, he scares me off. And so you're taking on
- 31:57Speaker 1: the Steelers, who, you know, is a pretty good defense.
- 31:59Speaker 1: And so I just, I don't know, man, until, like, again,
- 32:02Speaker 1: unless I see Tua all of a sudden is good,
- 32:04Speaker 1: then I'm not buying it. And who's going to get
- 32:06Speaker 1: him the ball? And so, yeah, I don't like Drake
- 32:08Speaker 1: London this week. Tight end. Who is your start?
- 32:11Speaker 3: Again, this is going to be a homer pick, but
- 32:13Speaker 3: I'm taking Isaiah Likely.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Oh, boy.
- 32:15Speaker 3: But he's got, I think him and Dart have a
- 32:18Speaker 3: thing going. He's going to catch a lot of balls.
- 32:20Speaker 1: What's their thing?
- 32:21Speaker 3: They have a thing going. He's going to catch a
- 32:23Speaker 3: lot of balls. They signed him to a big contract.
- 32:25Speaker 1: He didn't catch a ton of balls in Baltimore.
- 32:27Speaker 3: He was behind Mark Andrews. He's going to be their guy.
- 32:30Speaker 3: I think just because they have Caleb Downs doesn't make
- 32:33Speaker 3: them the 85 Bears. You're really hating on these Cowboys.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Because I can't take how much love they're getting.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I haven't seen any of that. I don't know. You're
- 32:40Speaker 1: not going to like this because my start this week
- 32:43Speaker 1: is Jake Ferguson versus the Giants. And so, yeah, I think,
- 32:47Speaker 1: like I said, I'm basing this off a shootout. I
- 32:50Speaker 1: really think that this is going to be not a
- 32:52Speaker 1: lot of defense. I think that there is going to
- 32:54Speaker 1: be a lot of balls to be had. And so
- 32:55Speaker 1: I do think Jake Ferguson– may find the end zone
- 32:58Speaker 1: or something like that. Who's your sit?
- 33:00Speaker 3: My sit this week is a guy who was like
- 33:01Speaker 3: a stud for a couple weeks last year, and now
- 33:03Speaker 3: I don't know who the starter is because they have
- 33:05Speaker 3: three different tight ends. I'm going Aranda Gadsen. Gadsen? Gadsen,
- 33:09Speaker 3: the Chargers tight end. Because is it him? Is it Njoku?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Is it this other guy? I don't know who the
- 33:14Speaker 3: hell the starting tight end is.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Too many cooks?
- 33:15Speaker 3: Too many cooks, so I'm sitting him against the Cardinals.
- 33:18Speaker 1: My sit this week, this hurts me a little bit.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I just don't know, again, if he's physically ready. Everything
- 33:25Speaker 1: I've heard, he's playing George Kittle.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Yeah, George Kittle, you're all the way in Australia. I
- 33:29Speaker 1: don't know that you're 100%. Rams defense, apparently, you want
- 33:33Speaker 1: to talk about an all-time defense, you know, I mean,
- 33:35Speaker 1: even though Aaron Donald's not playing. But still, they're very,
- 33:37Speaker 1: very good. I think they're going to leave Kittle in,
- 33:40Speaker 1: if anything, just a block. And so I don't foresee
- 33:43Speaker 1: him having, like, a crazy first game or anything like that.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Eventually, I think Kidd will be fine. But right now,
- 33:49Speaker 1: I'm not a believer just yet. So there you go.
- 33:52Speaker 1: There are your starts and sits for week one, baby. Hopefully,
- 33:57Speaker 1: you go out there and get a win.
