A tragic Fourth of July shooting in Compton claimed the lives of two dedicated community advocates, including 19-year-old Meah Bordenave-Jenkins and 37-year-old Eric Washington, a former field deputy and anti-violence crusader who died trying to stop the violence. Three others, including a young girl, were injured.
