- 1:34SPEAKER_02: That shit has gone viral.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: So I think it's a good one.
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: I think if you come out with t-shirts, he might have to sue me.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: You gotta put it in Spanish.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Why would he have to sue me?
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: I don't even think you want to be associated with dick.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: He might he might have to fuck you up one time.

- 1:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, he knows his dick smoke, you smoke to fuck you up.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: Let me hear that you're spoiler.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: Um really don't want to get smoke.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Because I ain't gonna lie, nigga got out and got woke.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: Nah, first of all, I've been woke-ish.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: No, not you.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about the nigga from Get Out, got woke.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: What do you mean?
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: The nigga from Get Out.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: He was in Black Panther.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: He got woke.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: He got out and got it.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: I want to talk about that guy first.
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: Foremost, because he's the same actor in everything.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Like I've seen him in Black Mirror, I've seen Get Out, and I've seen him in Black Panther now, and he has zero range in like acting.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: Like he does the same look, the same, like his acting range is pretty bad.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: But uh he did a good a good job in that movie because it fit his character.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: And I'm a comic book nerd, and the first thing I want to say is that the Jabari tribe is lit, and they should have they should have never been pussy.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: They should have named the character, the leader of the tribe, his actual comic book name, because his comic book name is Man Ape, and they didn't want to name him that because of all you know the negative uh with the with the monkey coolest monkey in the jungle shit.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:50SPEAKER_02: So they didn't they didn't even give him a name in the movie.
- 2:52SPEAKER_02: Like his character didn't really have a name.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: He was just the leader of the Jabari tribe.
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: And that's crazy.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but he he's supposed to be Man Ape.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: He's like some big 6'5 nigga, 300 pounds.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: He lost to T'Challa in a fight with no powers, which I like how they edited the movie though, because they never show them standing side by side, and they never show them like like so you can see the five the s the size difference.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: Because I think uh Chadwick Bozeman is like what 5'9, 5'11, and this guy is 6'5, 300 pounds.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: Like, there's no way he's gonna lose a fight to him, but he ended up losing in the movie, and they did really good camera editing to make the fight look believable because they didn't the size difference didn't look that big.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: I just want to say to all the people that's saying um can't what's the guy's name?
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: What um he found a way to make the make a Marvel, um Stanley?
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, everybody's like, oh, how a black movie comes out and he is taking credit.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: He's the one, but he's the one that made Marvel.
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: So how would you not expect people to give him credit?
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: No, everybody's giving everybody's giving him credit because you know Marvel is his.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: But I've been seeing a lot of people.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: He didn't create the Black Panther, but I see a lot of people bashing him because people's giving him credit because it's apparently they're saying it's a black movie, which a lot of people are stupid.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: Because I seen this on um, it was on Reddit and You don't use Peter.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: Don't pretend like you use that.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: I came across it.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: Yes but um everybody was bashing and I'm like Reddit.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: I'm like, yo like y'all niggas make no sense.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: Y'all niggas made no sense because he made it with confidence.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: So what if he's a white guy?
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: He made Marvel.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: Was he in the movie?
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: Did he have a cameo?
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's in he's in all of the movies, man.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's in all I know he's in all the movies, but I never realized that so you don't have a mic.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: That that that movie is spoiler.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Um uh well says Stanley also created Magneto and Professor.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Professor X Veg on Malcolm X and Martin Luther King.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: If you knew that already, nigga.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Somebody that got mic.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'm I'm gone.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: So wait, wait, wait, no insight whatsoever.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: So Professor X is Malcolm X Magneto is.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: You got it wrong, they flipped it.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: You see how they did the names differently, too?
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: But wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 5:13SPEAKER_02: How the hell does Professor X remind anybody of Martin Luther King have been a good thing?
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: He's a peaceful activist.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: He wants everybody to get together.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: And Malcolm X wanted to shoot shit up, which Magneto wants to.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: Malcolm X just didn't want a black people to assimilate into white culture.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: They wanted he wanted us to go back to Africa and shit.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, so Magneto is like basically trying to keep the mutants.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: Magneto wants to kill all humans and have the mutants be the dominant race on the planet.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: Because they are, because they're mutants.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: Because the genes are mutated further.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: See, I never I never understood that because it's not.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Well, you know that you don't realize like superbones would fight in Magneto, but I never realized.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: So have you ever read a comic book in your life?
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: I have.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Which one?
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: I don't remember what you call, but I read a couple of them because I have a bunch of them at my house, and I'll bring them to the next podcast if you want me to.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: I got more than you, nigga.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: Okay, I got original copies.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so do I?
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: Okay, nice.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: So we're gonna save them and sell them.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: Damn, plastic.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: They're not in the plastic.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: No, I still got ones in plastic that I haven't touched.
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: Well, it's just you got them for the 99 cents, though.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: Nah, so it just ain't worth nothing.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: My uncle that used to be 99 cents.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: No, my uncle, my uncle with the dread used to collect them.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's not you.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: But um, he gave them to me.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: Which ones did you read if they're in the plastic?
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: No, I have some out of the past.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: You see how easy it is to fool people like you?
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: I just said that.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: I said I had some impact.
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: No, you did it.
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, you said it.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: Um we're gonna talk about Black Panther because I I can go on for like three.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: I just want to hear it.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: Like you said, you got spoilers and all this.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I want to hear some of the main bad guy in the movie is Michael B.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: Jordan.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: Can you not spoil monger?
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna spoil everything.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: Can you just not spoil it?
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: So Michael B.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: Jordan's character is dope.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: It's a perfect allegory of how you want to use allegory in a sentence?
- 6:57SPEAKER_02: Uh anyway, so Michael B.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: Jordan's character is a perfect example of black Americans because his dad was uh calling him Wakanda Knight, I guess.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: Wakanda?
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: His his dad was a Wakanda guy.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: Let me ask you a question.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Wakanda guy was he?
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: I like that one.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: I like that one.
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna ruin this movie, man.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: But what I was gonna say.
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: What I was gonna say, do since because I read I read, I think it was on Instagram, everybody's saying that Bronx is responsible for Wakanda because apparently it was dirty and they was throwing up the X or some stupid shit.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: So do you agree with this or what what's going on here?
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna just save this shit for the next podcast.
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: Y'all niggas gonna ruin this for me.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: Nah, I just want to know what's going on here.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: I saw Instagram.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: No one has said this about it.
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: I saw on Instagram they were saying that um Wakanda and the Bronx are similar because everybody's throwing up X and whole bunch of special thing I've ever heard.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: Wakanda's a nice place.
- 8:01SPEAKER_02: This is the most scientifically advanced place in the world.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: And the Bronx is the shithole of New York.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: Because they said they was comparing them throwing up the X and the throw up no X in Wakanda.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: What are they talking about?
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: Why isn't they throwing up an X in Black Panther across the chest and something?
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: So wait, throwing up an X and doing like this with your hands is throwing up the channel.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: No, that's what I'm saying.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: They were doing across the chest, the X.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: But throw up the X though.
- 8:23SPEAKER_02: I need to throw an X for the right.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: Alright, when I say throw up the X, I'm not talking about in the physically in the air.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: So what the fuck are you talking about?
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: So that's throwing something up when you do it.
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: Alright, they was making an X.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: That's not an X.
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: So what is that?
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: That's them patting themselves.
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: They was patting themselves like this.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: No, they're they're I I'm gonna put the mic down so you can see the gesture.
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 8:42SPEAKER_02: It's like this.
- 8:43SPEAKER_02: That's all you do.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 8:45unknown: So this is what you do.
- 8:46SPEAKER_02: Okay, so Okay.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: So, okay, they were basically saying that they was making the sign of an X.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: No, that's not an X.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Okay, but if they're patting themselves with both arms crossed, it looks like an X.
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: So No, it doesn't to me, so I can't even agree with him.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: I'm over the sh to this shit with you.
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so Killmonger, right?
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: Um, he's a very good bad guy because his dad was from Wakanda and he grew up in Oakland.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: Where is Wakanda?
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: In Africa.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: It's not a real place though.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: Uh I was just asking because I don't know if it's a real place or not.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: No, it's not.
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: How do you have the how do you how do you have the skills to fight this nigga?
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: Africa?
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: That that that's you don't think there's African people in Oakland right now?
- 9:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but how how alright, if Wakanda's supposed to be in Africa, right?
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: You just said his father's from Oakland.
- 9:34SPEAKER_02: I said his father's from Oakland?
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: What did you just say?
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: I said he is from Oakland.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: Wait, so he went back to Africa or something?
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait, what?
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: What are you asking?
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: Isn't Tachal from Oakland go to Africa or something?
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: You guys are speaking of each other.
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: Is Ticharla his cousin?
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: Yes or no?
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's his cousin.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: The guy that's that's in Oakland, did he ever go back to Africa?
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: Which guy?
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: You just said Michael B.
- 9:56SPEAKER_02: Character?
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: Is he the one from Oakland?
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: Did he go to Africa?
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: So you're telling me the what's made him go to Africa?
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: What's so extreme about that?
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm that's what I was getting.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Why is that a question?
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: Because I just want to know how did he like how how did everything I'm trying to see how he might be like?
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: Well, I was gonna get to that.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: So his character, um, he grew up in Oakland, the mean streets of Oakland.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: His dad was killed, right?
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: And he In Oakland?
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: He found a panther claw through his dad's chest.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: But as a kid, he's not, he doesn't realize what the fuck that is.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: But his he was told by his father that they're from Wakanda, and everybody, I don't know if you've seen people on social media getting Wakanda tattoos inside their lips.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've seen a couple of pictures of people actually doing it.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: It's because in the movie to know to show somebody that you're from Wakanda, they have like this glow in the dark tattoo here, and you show it to them, and it shows it says Wakanda in there.
- 10:44unknown: Nice.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: I'm saying glow in the dark Wakanda.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: That's how you that's the only way you can get into Wakanda, honestly.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: Wait, so he's from Wakanda.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: He bas his so if I get a tattoo.
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: His brother basically killed his dad.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: Wakanda's not a real place, so it's not gonna do anything for you.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: His uncle basically killed his dad because they left Wakanda?
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: No.
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: He killed him because he had the same ideology that Michael B.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: Jordan's character had.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: So he goes back to Wakanda and what happens?
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: Well, he wants to be king.
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: Because basically, his ideology is that blacks in America and blacks around the world are being persecuted by the colonizers, which are white people, and Wakanda has the technology to beat anybody, and they're watching other black people get murked.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: And he's just like, what the fuck?
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: And his dad was killed by T'Challa's dad, who was the Black Panther at the time.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: He doesn't know why his dad was killed though.
- 11:29SPEAKER_02: And then he's just like, This is some fuck shit.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: So he spent his whole life training.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: He went to MIT.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: Uh he went to the uh the the army special special forces.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: He said MIT.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: MIT, that's a school.
- 11:41SPEAKER_02: Isn't that in New York?
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: I think there's I think there's MITs everywhere.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: There's FIT dick.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: No, there is an MIT in New York I think there's MITs everywhere.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: So I just think it's an institution.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: But yeah, so yeah, he uh he went to he's an A student.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: He goes to the army, he gets the most confirmed kills in the history of the Navy.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: Uh they gave him the nickname Killmonger, because you know, a monger is of anything is, you know, you get a lot of it.
- 12:03SPEAKER_02: And he has like, which is really cool, he had like uh there's some things that Africans do is that they scar their skin that makes it look like kind of like like braille designs.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: The dots?
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so he did that, he did that for each kill he ever got.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: So one uh cool part of the movie is that there's a love interest that he has throughout the whole movie.
- 12:19SPEAKER_02: Well, like the little scenes you see him in, and he kills her like cold-bloodedly to kill a guy.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: Like he's like, the guy has the girl with a gun to his head, and he's just like, I'll kill her, I'll kill her.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: And he did that, shoots the girl, kills her, and he's like, nigga, I don't give a fuck about that bitch.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: Is killmonger because his mission is just to kill her.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: Kill, kill, kill.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: But his whole plight and his whole beef with the Wakandans is that they've witnessed black people be oppressed everywhere.
- 12:45SPEAKER_02: And don't do it.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: And have not done shit for them.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: But I feel like there's a place in the world today that does that.
- 12:52SPEAKER_02: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, like, I feel like we have a Wakanda somewhere in the world, but where would it be?
- 12:57SPEAKER_02: What are you talking about?
- 12:58SPEAKER_02: What?
- 12:58SPEAKER_02: Explain that to me.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: I feel like there's a place in this world that does the same shit.
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: Like what?
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: What are you talking about?
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: Black people get suppressed and oppressed.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: Uppressed, whatever.
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: And no douche.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: I can't have this conversation with these guys.
- 13:09SPEAKER_02: Alright, um, yeah, so we can just talk about the regular topics then.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: I I I can't do this.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: I'm just trying to get woke, man.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: Nah.
- 13:17SPEAKER_02: It's too late for you.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: You're an idiot.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: Say that Caucasian like too.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: So yeah, um, I think uh Kill Marger's message in the movie was actually very strong.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: He had a he had a very uh touching uh statement at the end of the movie when he died.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: What was that statement?
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: And he said, um ancestor thing?
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: Yes, this guy's seen the movie, so he can finish it.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: I mean, I just everybody's respoiling it.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: I don't remember what it was anymore.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: It was basically just if I die, bury my ashes in the water amongst my ancestors that basically jumped off the ship because they didn't want to be slaves in America.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: In retrospect, it's a really stupid quote because if your ancestors jumped off the ship and died, you wouldn't be here.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: But you know.
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: I I I w I wanted to, but I was just like, you know what?
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna say it because I don't want to say this wrong and sound stupid.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: But you had that that that that is correct.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: Because I was like, how the fuck are you alive?
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's why that quote kind of lost its impact to me.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: Everybody else in the uh in the audience is like, oh yeah, yeah, that was a great quote.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: I was just like, that don't make no sense.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: What was the quote?
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: He basically When I die, bury me with my ancestors.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: With my ancestors, because they're the they're the type of slaves that they jumped off the boat and died because they knew that uh bondage uh is would be worse than death.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: If your ancestor jumped off of a boat and died, how are you alive?
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it doesn't make sense.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it doesn't make sense.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: What?
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: But what's the conflict between uh T'Challa and But you're not getting what I'm saying?
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: The conflict is that if your ancestors jumped off, they can't.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: How anyways, yeah.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: So the conflict the conflict between T'Challa and Killmonger is that like why does T'Challa want to stop him?
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Because number one, before you like my take on it is is because they he does a uh now I didn't see the movie, but uh this is my take on I don't I I'm just speculation um is that T'Challa doesn't want his like technology to be known to the world that's because he's just building himself up in order to like maybe take uh make changes.
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: No, no, he's not you're right with the first part because Wakanda has survived centuries of because remember, they missed out on being oppressed because they were so secluded.
- 15:23SPEAKER_02: Okay, everybody thinks to the world, Wakanda's a third world country that has nothing, they're all farmers, right?
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: That's how the world sees them, so there's no resources for them.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: So it's simple it's similar to how people like look at Africa when it's really not.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: No, but in actuality, uh every all the all the resources in Africa have been reaped already.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: So most countries in Africa are actually poor.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: So Wakanda has that image to the world, and their reason for survival and still having their culture is because they were never attacked because there's nothing for y'all to take from them.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: But in actuality, they have vibranium, which is like the most abundant, I mean it's the most uh useful resource in the Marvel universe because uh excuse me.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: That's also why uh uh T'Challa is actually the richest character in Marvel, because he has vibranium.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: And the movie What I like about all these new superhero movies is that they're doing this thing where they don't do the origin story no more.
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: They just make the origin story like a three-minute, five-minute, two-minute thing.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: Like if you've seen Spider-Man Homecoming, it wasn't about how Spider-Man got his powers.
- 16:23SPEAKER_02: It's just you're straight.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: Everybody knows Spider-Man already.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: Why are we doing the origin story?
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: It would have worked good for Black Panther because he's not a mainstream superhero, but I I I think it was genius that they didn't do it either.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: They gave you like a three-minute, like, kind of like clip in the beginning of the movie showing you how the vibrant got there, like how it worked out.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: Because I was about to say, this is this is a very good thing.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: This is the first Black Panther movie, right?
- 16:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the first one was actually supposed to come out in the early 2000s, and Wesley Snipes was supposed to play T'Cala.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: But they didn't think it was gonna make money, because this is this is the thing about black movies, and I'll do air quotes.
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: Black movies don't travel.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: So that's why studios don't like to make black movies because they'll make money in the America, but they won't make money in France.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: They won't make money in Germany.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: And uh because of like the racial shit that.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but Black Panther is probably the first movie that's ever kind of dispelling that.
- 17:11SPEAKER_02: Well, I feel that because it's like it's a Marvel movie, and people are more looking like you have people outside the US that's more looking towards it because of the superhero movie.
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, people are looking at the comic.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: It's only the United States, I feel that's looking at it as like a racial thing.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: You know, because yo, this is like a time, because it I feel like social media is the great, it's the reason behind this, right?
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: It is because you see like all for the past couple years since like Trey Von Martin killing.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like you see this state of unity in like quote unquote black wokeness, black consciousness, because we're seeing all these cases of like these little black boys getting murdered, or just black people in general, okay.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Stop talking, man.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, poorly handled by the police, right?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: So it raises this uh like uh this report like yo, is your racism must be still strong and alive today, you know what I'm saying?
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: So and then and then everybody like kind of feels that same way.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: So there's a unity amongst black people in America.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: And so but so um Why you tell him shut up?
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: No, because he was about to come up.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: He said that already.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: But uh so because of that, right, there's like this awareness, right, uh uh amongst all the black people, uh amongst a lot of black people in America, like this movie means something to them.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: But to me, it's like like whoever was behind uh you know, whoever was behind putting out this movie now, this is the best time.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: But this is definitely the best time for the month.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's Black History Month, and plus yo, social media is just bringing this shit to the moon.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they took it to the moon, and then yo, social media is just a device used to bring so much news to people's attention, son.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: And because of this news, everybody has the same pin of thought now.
- 18:45SPEAKER_02: I'm glad that you said that.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: I went with uh Brianna, who's my significant other.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: She did not know this was she did not know this was a superhero movie.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: Like she was sitting there ready to watch some like revolutionary black movies.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: She didn't know what it was.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: Like she legit, because you know she doesn't have any social media telling her to dress up in red, black, and green.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: But my thing.
- 19:04SPEAKER_02: I was wearing my black history in my shoes, though.
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: You know, but this is why I say you're what you said is right, but also has this wrong because people are oh what kills me is that people preach this black wokeness, but then they're the same idiots that's doing the same dumb shit to other black like investments.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: But probably this is my thing.
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: What is black wokeness?
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I just I just came up with that.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: I meant I'm not saying that.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: I just say I just say when people people like you need you see how everything's going on with the Trayvon Martin from then on, everything that's been happening.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: Believing in police brutality is black.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: No, no, not not not just that, but people want to say that they want to, I guess, step up, like basically now try to be united as a black woke.
- 19:45SPEAKER_02: So that's bloke, that's black wokeness?
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: I guess that's what you would classify.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: No, no.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: What I mean by what I mean by uh this wokeness is like just the the the condition, no, no, no, the black experience in America.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: That's what I mean by the wokeness part, the black wokeness.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: That's what I meant.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: Okay, but not none of that whole text shit.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: They are some other shit.
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: That's to me that when I hear a person say they woke, that's what I immediately assume they talk about.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:10SPEAKER_02: My turb is awakened.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: I'm awakened.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: All right, like for instance, there was a a situation that happened in my hook my neighborhood that you know of Dante Terrell knows.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: No, that's not important.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, something like that sets back, it don't just set back um, I wouldn't say it set back everybody, but everybody in that in that that that vicinity, that, that area, that town, I should say, gets set back.
- 20:36SPEAKER_02: Because it's like y'all are sitting, y'all are sitting.
- 20:39SPEAKER_02: There was a murder.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: Listen, listen, there was a murder.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: A black on black murder.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: Two black and black.
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: But this is what this is what makes people in that area look bad.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: Because it's like we're sitting here Black Panther touched on this too.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: We're sitting here saying that everybody wants to start becoming unity dissenter, but we're still killing blacks.
- 20:55SPEAKER_02: Like, blacks are still killing black.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: Everybody still has their own internal struggles that gotta fail.
- 21:00SPEAKER_02: I get that, but if we can't we can't join and better the community as blacks, if that's the type of shit we're gonna do.
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: No, real talk.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: So let me show you how Black Panther dealt with that.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: Because yo, this movie was I you need to watch this movie in two ways.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: You need to watch it as a black person first, and then watch it as a comic book fan.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: And I and I think it did uh a very good job at that.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: So in the movie, it it it tackled black on black violence in a couple of ways.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: One, in the beginning of the movie, it showed you that African tribes, like I think it was four of them, warred over the vibranium.
- 21:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and one guy became like the dominant male figure, and his uh clan was the Panther clan, and he spoke to the the Black Panther god, and that's why he he got the powers to defeat all the other clans, right?
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so one of the clans was the Jabrari clan, that's the clan that said we're not fucking with this shit, we're gonna live in the mountains by ourselves.
- 21:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: And that that's the man ape guy, six five, three hundred pound nigga.
- 21:59SPEAKER_02: So That's black and black violence right there.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: But it was resolved through the power of an outside force.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: But because they would have just kept warring.
- 22:09SPEAKER_02: So what was the outside force?
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: The Panther God.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: But become king, don't you have to fight one another?
- 22:13SPEAKER_02: No, I was gonna get to that point too.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: But this is the thing.
- 22:15SPEAKER_02: This is the thing.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: How I look at it as okay, like you said like that, they were fighting to be king.
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: Why is it that in the black community we need to sit there and say we need to fight to become king?
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna keep it a rack with you.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: It's not a black community thing.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: That's actually I really say world thing.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: You you go you see most of these like Asian towns, they're not fighting over shit like that.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: What are you talking about?
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: They have gangs called the Yakuza and shit like that, too.
- 22:39SPEAKER_02: That's Japanese.
- 22:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but that's that but did he not say Asian?
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: So I'm just saying, like, you don't all right, I'm talking about as far as in the United States, you don't see them fighting like that.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: So you're telling me the Hell's Angels aren't beefing with the other motorcycle gang?
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: So what are you talking about?
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: Surprise.
- 22:55SPEAKER_02: You are falling into the trap of the news is shit showing you that's only black people.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: Black people are like this.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: I see what you're saying.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: You fell into that trap.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: But he's right.
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: It's not as publicized as point to another level.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: It's not as seen because I'm just saying it's not as seen as like where I live, that's all I'm seeing.
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: Well, you get what I'm saying?
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: No, but to get wait, to give uh uh what I'm seeing.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: What Chubby Sav is saying, a little bit of uh help, uh, but like the murder capitals of the United States is predominantly black.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: They're also predominantly poor.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, you're right about that.
- 23:33SPEAKER_02: So let me ask you a question.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: Because they're poor, they gotta kill each other?
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: Why not decide to, you know, but why not decide if they want to sit there and say, oh, we want to be woke, we want to have this all this unity that everybody is.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: Ignorant.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: How do you think it's not?
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: Why not eat?
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: Well, wokeness is not feeding you.
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: Why don't crack is feeding?
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: Why not, why not?
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: Selling crack, robin.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: Another problem.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: The drug that that these people are pushing is a problem, but nobody's the difference between meth, crack, and weed.
- 23:57SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna sell it to you.
- 23:58SPEAKER_02: How can you die from weed?
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Overdose?
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: I didn't mention death with any of these.
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: Crack kills, heroin kills.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: Well, how does heroin and crack kill?
- 24:05SPEAKER_02: You get addict and then it fucks with your body.
- 24:07SPEAKER_02: You get addict?
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: You get over addict?
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: You get besides the point.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: Overdose on anything.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: Most of the drug-related deaths have nothing to do with the substance.
- 24:15SPEAKER_02: It's the people selling the drugs.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: It's the guy across the street who's selling weed, and the other guy across the street who's selling weed is shooting at each other, and Tom, Dick, and Harry that caught in between are killed, and one of those guys gets killed.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: Most of the drug-related deaths has nothing to do with the drug.
- 24:29SPEAKER_02: Because my thing is it's just like everybody wants to sit here and like it floats everywhere, but then it'll be like this movie would come out, everybody will, you know, start trying to be peaceful, and then let the let the movie blow off, and then it's back to the thing.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: Somebody dies, let's unite.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Then they forget about it.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: And then to me, it's like, what what what what brings everybody's mentality to it now?
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: And then let it be too much.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: First of all, black people lack leadership.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: That's the first thing I want to point out.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: In this movie, there was a power for there's a struggle for power in leadership throughout the whole movie.
- 25:03SPEAKER_02: This movie did a lot of black women empowerment too.
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: And I know a lot of um guys are gonna be kind of against how they did it because there was a very important part in the movie where the woman dominated over the man and he he knelt to her.
- 25:16SPEAKER_02: See, this is my Because what's the face she like stood up for Wakanda and he was trying to.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he asked her straight up, yo, you're gonna choose Wakanda over our love, and she's like, Yeah, I'll kill you for this country.
- 25:26SPEAKER_02: And this is my thing.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: If people look at that and take it the wrong way, you're stupid, because at the end of the day, niggas can say what they want to say about me, but I feel like if no matter how you put it, in your if you're in a relationship or whatever, you told it to a woman, y'all gotta have a mutual understanding of power.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: It can't just be like the nigga just running shit.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: No, I think the nigga should be running shit.
- 25:48SPEAKER_02: Because at the end of the day, who's the king of Wakanda?
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: But I'm saying, yeah, to a certain extent, you're gonna have more power, more than that.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: But that's just like you're not gonna have you can't you can't attribute a relationship to a whole country because of the.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: Listen, listen, because if the child had told her, she would have been like, alright, chill.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: She would have killed herself with the child.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: But it's a hierarchy.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: He she feels like Wakanda's over their love.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: So you can't equate that to a relationship in a relationship.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: A man is a man in the Bible, it says a man is supposed to lead a woman.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: You can make that to a relationship because there's things outside of the relationship that you might find that's more than your love.
- 26:21SPEAKER_02: I'm never saying you can't take insight from her, but a man's job is to lead.
- 26:26SPEAKER_02: You can lead.
- 26:27SPEAKER_02: That's why we're physically stronger.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: Hold on, hold on.
- 26:29SPEAKER_02: You can lead, but at the end of the day, there's certain shit that a woman would know how to do more than a man.
- 26:33SPEAKER_02: You know what it's called?
- 26:34SPEAKER_02: It doesn't sound like you were trying to get the pants back in your relationship, nigga.
- 26:37SPEAKER_02: It's all I try to do.
- 26:39SPEAKER_02: I got the point of the city.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: What women have more than men is called intuition.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: That's why you take things from her, you hear her out, and you you get advice how to lead, but ultimately you're the person that's supposed to execute.
- 26:51SPEAKER_02: Okay, but at the end of the day, you're still getting shit.
- 26:55SPEAKER_02: There's one female power besides England.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: But hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about in general.
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about in jingle.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about throughout history.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: But I'm just saying, listen, no matter how much you put it.
- 27:08SPEAKER_02: Imagine a female getting his con.
- 27:09SPEAKER_02: What?
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: Wouldn't work.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: So let me ask you a question.
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: So let me ask you a question.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: If if if if Hillary would have if Hillary would have won, what would you have done?
- 27:18SPEAKER_02: I feel like the I feel like You feel like the whole country would have been would have been just going to say.
- 27:22SPEAKER_02: I mean, women can't leave.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: That's not what I'm saying.
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm I would have feel like I feel like the opposing countries would have looked at us like we got a bitch in charge.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: So what?
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: Let's take advantage of it.
- 27:32SPEAKER_02: So what?
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: Well we got an if in charge and they're taking advantage of that right now.
- 27:35SPEAKER_02: Technically, if you really still look at it, we still have a bitch in charge.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: All right, here we go.
- 27:40SPEAKER_02: What's the difference between him and a bitch?
- 27:41SPEAKER_02: First of all, you support that nigga.
- 27:42SPEAKER_02: He just he just getting all emotional now.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: Like I was not.
- 27:46SPEAKER_02: What is different?
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: Regardless of how you put it, I always say this.
- 27:49SPEAKER_02: I could lead, but I would always have things that I don't know how to do.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: Or there's things that I can't sit here and say, you know, I'm gonna just do this.
- 28:00SPEAKER_02: That a woman might know.
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: The best leaders follow.
- 28:02SPEAKER_02: That's that's always been the thing.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 28:04SPEAKER_02: Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Like I've heard all these quotes.
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: That's why there's checks and balances.
- 28:08SPEAKER_02: But that's what I'm saying.
- 28:08SPEAKER_02: Like in the movie, T'Challa's secret service was all women.
- 28:14SPEAKER_02: That was his secret service.
- 28:16SPEAKER_02: The smartest character in that movie was a black woman.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: In the comic, T'Challa is supposed to be the smartest person in Wakanda, but for the movie's sake, they made it his little sister.
- 28:24SPEAKER_02: She was the smartest person in the whole movie.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: She she technically stole the show.
- 28:28SPEAKER_02: Like that, the actress, like a lot of people are saying that she stole the show.
- 28:31SPEAKER_02: Because T'Challa as a character, to me, which I agree too, he was very flat.
- 28:34SPEAKER_02: He was very boring.
- 28:35SPEAKER_02: Like Killmonger was a really good bad guy.
- 28:38SPEAKER_02: His supporting cast was really good.
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: But him as a character, I don't know if it's Chadwick Bozeman's acting or just the way the character was written.
- 28:45SPEAKER_02: It was a very flat character.
- 28:47SPEAKER_02: I see.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: So a lot of people are kind of like, Why is there so much woman empowerment?
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: And I liked it.
- 28:54SPEAKER_02: And it because it didn't feel forced.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: And there was this beautiful point in the movie where she had to dress up because they were like undercover and she was wearing a wig because she's bald.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: And she was saying how like this is like so degrading to her.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: And it gave me some uh feeling of pride.
- 29:07SPEAKER_02: Like, this is how black women should look at weave.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: And I liked it.
- 29:11SPEAKER_02: Whoever wrote this movie was a black guy who was the director.
- 29:13SPEAKER_02: I don't know who wrote the script, but that moment right there was just so powerful to me because this is the rhetoric that I've been spinning for like the past couple of years now.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: That we need to dub this this weave shit.
- 29:22SPEAKER_02: Like, this shit is just just it's toxic.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: And like I said, I'm gonna agree with you.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: Like I didn't agree with you before because I told you, like, you know, female, they just want to look a certain way.
- 29:32SPEAKER_02: But I see something this weekend, and I looked at it and I was just like, this can't be fucking serious.
- 29:39SPEAKER_02: So my girl went to go get weave.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: I said, you know what?
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: Let me stop you right there.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: So when she made the ultimate decision to go get this weave, what was your input?
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: I would just say, okay.
- 29:49SPEAKER_02: Because you know, I've seen her with weave before, and I it never it never bothered me because you know, when me and her was first dating, I did give her, you know, I did pay for her weave as a gift at one point.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: I did.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: You know, that's something that you really like, okay.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: I'll get it for you.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: Then you kept telling me this, you know, they need a stock, it's a whole nother look.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, no, it's it's not.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: They just, you know, they just prefer it.
- 30:17SPEAKER_02: It's just like how niggas might prefer discolor sneakers or whatever the case.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: So when she said it, I'm like, alright, whatever, we'll go.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: We went.
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: Now I'm driving and I see a line to the left of me, but I'm not thinking, you know, that's what you call it.
- 30:31SPEAKER_02: So then I'm looking for the address.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh, alright, I gotta make a U-turn.
- 30:34SPEAKER_02: When I'm ready to U-turn, I pulled up, I'm like, what the fuck is going on here?
- 30:38SPEAKER_02: She's like, that's the place.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: I'm looking like the line was like a fucking sneaker line, like how people came outside of what is the city.
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: It's supply and demand, though.
- 30:47SPEAKER_02: But just that's just the thing.
- 30:48SPEAKER_02: That's just one thing they like.
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: I don't think that should be your reasoning for not like this is my thing.
- 30:54SPEAKER_02: Because they lined up for it.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: No.
- 30:56SPEAKER_02: It made me, it made me open my eyes to see a lot of shit.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: Where it's like what I got from it when I seen that shit and the way I heard people talking, it was like a drug addict.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: Like they needed it.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: First of all, you put a sale.
- 31:12SPEAKER_02: Like, and this sale on anything niggas is just gonna be like, it wasn't just for a sale.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: It was not just for a sale.
- 31:17SPEAKER_02: Let me hand this nigga a mic right now.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: Because this is what this is why I want to uh it was not just for sale.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: This is why to me, representation, he thinks it's not an important thing.
- 31:25SPEAKER_02: No, I don't think it's not an important thing.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: We can rewind, we can rewind podcasts if we can't use you when it's all right.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: If that exists, I'm gonna delete it.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but nah, I got the power.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: This is why um representation is an important thing.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: Because in the movie, there was so many different types of because I hear this from black women all the time.
- 31:45SPEAKER_02: Oh, I don't like my natural hair.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: One.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: Okay, number two, oh, I can't do a lot of things with my natural hair.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: Oh, I do it to let it grow.
- 31:52SPEAKER_02: That's not true.
- 31:54SPEAKER_02: In the movie, there was at least mad hairstyles.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: 40 different hairstyles for black hair.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: You could do a lot with black hair.
- 32:00SPEAKER_02: With black hair, the little bantu knots for the girls that can't do their hair long.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: We've seen dreads, the ultimate grade, the braids, the little um afro, the little pom-pommed.
- 32:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like all of this shit.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: Even short hair.
- 32:13SPEAKER_02: So if if a what if a black woman gets weaved, like let's say get dread because her hair is not long enough.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: Is that a good thing?
- 32:18SPEAKER_02: Is that a bad thing?
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: What do you mean?
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: If it's not long European hair, if she can't have enough hair for dreads, but she wants dreads, is that a bad thing?
- 32:24SPEAKER_02: Personally, but this is my thing.
- 32:26SPEAKER_02: And I'm gonna answer your question.
- 32:28SPEAKER_02: It's just like it's just like when a guy wants dreads, right?
- 32:32SPEAKER_02: That's it.
- 32:32SPEAKER_02: That's gay.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: No, let's say a guy wants dreads.
- 32:34SPEAKER_02: Not a guy wanting dreads, but him getting that.
- 32:36SPEAKER_02: When he when his hair starts growing, he starts twisting it up and let it grow.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: You don't sit, I don't sit there and be like, oh, I'm gonna go get weave to fucking let my hair grow.
- 32:43SPEAKER_02: I'll say it's a good example of that.
- 32:45SPEAKER_02: Because if you go through the years of the Migos music videos, he had the shortest.
- 32:49SPEAKER_02: At one point he had the fucking blow-off Chikadaka, and he just kept growing his hair, and now he got the same length of hair that these niggas had.
- 32:55SPEAKER_02: And that's what I'm saying.
- 32:56SPEAKER_02: Like, when I hear certain shit.
- 32:57SPEAKER_02: And he had the same swag he had then that he has now.
- 32:59SPEAKER_02: So these women saying that they need hair to feel good about themselves.
- 33:02SPEAKER_02: That's just low self-dished.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: And this is my thing.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: You know what I blame it on?
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: I blame it on all these, how should I put it?
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: All these models and people idolizing them.
- 33:13SPEAKER_02: And then when it comes to like our black woman, they're just like, oh, yeah, you look okay.
- 33:17SPEAKER_02: You look okay.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: Even the black men in the movie had so many different types of hair.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: Like when we was young, right?
- 33:24SPEAKER_02: How many different types of hair did you have?
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: It was dog season, dog season or the braids.
- 33:28SPEAKER_02: That was it.
- 33:29SPEAKER_02: That was it.
- 33:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was in the video games.
- 33:31SPEAKER_02: It was one, it was two choices.
- 33:33SPEAKER_02: Dog season, after the braids.
- 33:35SPEAKER_02: That was it.
- 33:35SPEAKER_02: That was it.
- 33:35SPEAKER_02: And then when um, because I I spoke with a coworker of mine one time, and he said something to me that was very powerful.
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: He was just like, yo, when I was a um, when I was uh uh like younger, younger, like middle school, and I always imagined myself as an adult male, even though he's black, but I always imagined myself with the white guy here because that's just how I seen all the video games I played, or all in the movies.
- 33:55SPEAKER_02: Like I honestly always envisioned myself with the white guy here when I grew up, and he didn't understand why he thought like that.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: Just because of representation in the movies, in the video games, there was nothing but white people here.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: Right, right, right, right.
- 34:07SPEAKER_02: That's that's what I'm trying to explain to you why representation is important.
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: I can't sit here and tell women don't wear weave if Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Scizor, all these women, I don't know about Scizor, but all these women have the European long flowing hair, and that is the standard of beauty in America.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: No, no, that is the sad thing is that people look to other people for you know who they want to be.
- 34:27SPEAKER_00: That's human.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: That's you're right, it's a human trait, but it's it's just sad that you, you know, you have to put these people in uh who just want to be themselves and you gotta put them in the role model position.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: Well, they just want to be themselves, and uh like inadvertently they're doing what their actions is causing, you know, other people to look up to them and follow in suit of them.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: The place that I went, when they when I heard people saying Nicki Minaj spent$2,000 on weave there, I said, this is exactly why all these black females, and don't get me wrong, there was females there that had nice, nice natural hair.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: Like, and it got to the point where what killed me was I'm seeing people with their kids outside, and it wasn't hot.
- 35:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 35:11SPEAKER_02: So now you're standing outside with your child for some hair.
- 35:14SPEAKER_02: Like, come on, let's be serious now.
- 35:18SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: That's what that's what my girl said to me.
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: She said, You say, and you know what I told her?
- 35:22SPEAKER_02: I was like, I don't stand online for sneakers anymore.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: Now I tell people straight up, if I can't get it by paying a little bit extra early, I don't get them.
- 35:28SPEAKER_02: Because why?
- 35:29SPEAKER_02: I don't feel I if I don't feel like I needed that much in my life to sit there and stand outside and it's cold, you don't know God forbid what happened.
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: Like anything could happen, just chilling on these streets, and then people are out there killing for sneakers.
- 35:45SPEAKER_02: And the way that line looked like, I could I wouldn't be surprised if they said that they sold out on a certain hand, that fight would have stopped would have happened.
- 35:51SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't have been surprised if somebody told me that.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: I think that that whole sneakers vs weave argument is a different type of argument.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: I think that's just a black people consumer issue.
- 36:00SPEAKER_02: Like we we're spending our money on dumb shit in general.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: My problem with weave is just the toxic stuff that surrounds it.
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: Just the fact that Yeah, like the low self-esteem.
- 36:11SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: It's just like the daily like physiological changes that happen to me.
- 36:16SPEAKER_02: You don't look at him as having low self-esteem.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: Right, he just like, yo, that's those are fly.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: I mean I might be good with the colour.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: Oh, but it's kind of the same thing though.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: Because if he's if because I you, me, all of us, we buy sneakers because we think they look cool.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but there's no I buy sneakers because if you ever look at my sneaker collection.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: No, look.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: If you ever look at my sneaker collection, I buy them for the colorway.
- 36:34SPEAKER_02: Anyway, I don't buy them just because I don't buy them just because they look cool.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: Because look, for example, the Balenciaga's that zap guy.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: Wait, so they don't apparently they're cool.
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: I'm not the most gonna buy them.
- 36:45SPEAKER_02: No, I'm saying to you they look cool.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: But that's what I'm saying.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: I'm not buying them just because the difference between sneaker and weave is number one, sneakers don't alter your appearance.
- 36:54SPEAKER_02: Okay, they don't make you look like a different person.
- 36:57SPEAKER_02: Makeup and hair literally makes you look like not even the same thing.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but what if they wanted to look like a different person?
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: But why?
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: It's no but because they don't love the person.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: If if that's the case, no, no, if that's the case for some of them, then that's the problem.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: But if they just wanted to change, you know how they look, that's fine.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: As well.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: You know how they if they if there was a deep-rooted uh like self-hatred, then I'll be like, Yeah, you need to root that out.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: You know how I knew it was they don't love themselves and it was deep.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: Well, some of them, yeah.
- 37:25SPEAKER_02: No.
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: Like Marsha Lou just said, oh, you don't even tell me it looked nice, nothing, and started crying.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: I'm like, are you serious?
- 37:31SPEAKER_02: Like he cried?
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: Like, I've told you what I think of how you look.
- 37:35SPEAKER_02: I don't like you for your weave.
- 37:37SPEAKER_02: I like you for you.
- 37:37SPEAKER_02: I gotta tell my sister girl, her hair is beautiful every day.
- 37:40SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 37:40SPEAKER_02: You a good man, you're a good man.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: Because the world is not gonna tell her that.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: And that's the scary part about this world, is that like he said, he gotta tell his little sister that.
- 37:48SPEAKER_02: If he don't tell his little sister that somebody in school might be saying you don't got weave, this and third.
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: And like with me, I got a little cousin that she don't even want to get her ears pierced.
- 37:56SPEAKER_02: Don't you got a little cousin that's gay too or some shit?
- 37:58SPEAKER_02: I don't know if he's gay, but I'm just not looking at him the right way.
- 38:02SPEAKER_02: Boom mama.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: But like I said, I got a little cousin, she doesn't want to get her ears pierced.
- 38:07SPEAKER_02: And I talked to her, like, you don't want to get your ears pierced.
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: She said she don't know.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: She never wanted to.
- 38:11SPEAKER_02: And then she could she told me that she said, I thought about it, but I just don't know.
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, okay, that's fine.
- 38:16SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: Like, if I don't have I feel like if I don't have those certain conversations with her to let her know what a woman, like what it is to be like a woman, you don't have to do not what it is to be a woman, what it is to be yourself.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: No, well, I say women because at the end of the day, these black women, they gotta be themselves and be a woman.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: They don't gotta sit there and chase what everybody else is doing.
- 38:38SPEAKER_02: What is being a woman?
- 38:38SPEAKER_02: Yo, we've got so bad that niggas is wearing weed.
- 38:41SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 38:41SPEAKER_02: Is that point of clicking that shoe?
- 38:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's the call.
- 38:44SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 38:45SPEAKER_02: I feel like if I don't have those.
- 38:48SPEAKER_02: I feel like if I don't have those discussions with her, she just gonna fall into society and do what everybody else is telling her to do and not stand out.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: Probably listen to that kid in school, like you nappy headed, whatever, whatever, and then she feels bad about herself because she this is how she was born.
- 39:02SPEAKER_02: And I feel like I feel like that's what happened because when even in high school.
- 39:07SPEAKER_02: You got a lot to say, man.
- 39:08SPEAKER_02: Even in high school, who was a lot of niggas chasing?
- 39:11SPEAKER_02: It was the woman, black girls with weave, you know, all this extra shit.
- 39:14SPEAKER_02: No, I was chasing the fatties.
- 39:15SPEAKER_02: You got what I'm saying?
- 39:17SPEAKER_02: But see, something like that.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: You were chasing the fatties.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: Now all the girls were chasing.
- 39:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: See, this is a problem.
- 39:24SPEAKER_02: I don't have when they're gonna go get butt jobs.
- 39:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:26SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 39:27SPEAKER_02: Some of these girls are designed off of that shit.
- 39:28SPEAKER_02: You get what I'm saying?
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: I almost was a sister because of that.
- 39:31SPEAKER_02: Because of her ass implants?
- 39:32SPEAKER_02: No, because she got she went and got breast implants and one of them exploded on her.
- 39:35SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, I like legit, it was at that point where I was like, this is getting out of hand.
- 39:41SPEAKER_02: Not bad talk, man.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: It wasn't till the other day when I saw the weave, I'm like, this is another thing that's really getting out of hand.
- 39:47SPEAKER_02: Like, this shit is really getting bad.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: It's not, and if you realize it's not in a lot of other communities than the black community.
- 39:55SPEAKER_02: Why don't you see you see Spanish people going and buy weave?
- 39:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: How much?
- 40:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:02SPEAKER_02: A lot of them.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: I haven't, well, I probably wear weave too.
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: Well, I haven't.
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: Spanish girls buy wigs and all that.
- 40:09SPEAKER_02: Because they don't want to dye their regular hair, they don't want to do nothing to it.
- 40:12SPEAKER_02: But see, okay, okay.
- 40:13SPEAKER_02: If you tell me, see, this is the thing.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: If you tell me you want to you don't want to dye a regular hair, that's on the standard because there's chemical, there's chemicals in dye that can fuck up your hair.
- 40:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I can understand that.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: You get what I'm saying?
- 40:23SPEAKER_02: That's not coming from a place of I hate my hair.
- 40:25SPEAKER_02: That's coming from a place of I love my hair.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: I don't want to fuck it up with blue hair dye.
- 40:29SPEAKER_02: But there's people out there that that would sit there, put weave in, uh-huh, have their leave out, okay, and then dye their leave out to do the weave.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: You're not buying the weave.
- 40:39SPEAKER_02: I don't even know what that means.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: What?
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: Oh, you gotta explain that.
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: What the fuck is the leave out?
- 40:42SPEAKER_02: The leave out is.
- 40:43SPEAKER_02: The leave out is like the hair that they leave out on top sometimes or wherever.
- 40:47SPEAKER_02: So it's like their natural hair on top of the weave.
- 40:49SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: Like when they get the meat milk braids, like they leave a little bit out.
- 40:52SPEAKER_02: They leave a little bit of hair out to like some of them leave it out to put a bang or so it looks natural.
- 40:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:57SPEAKER_02: Or whatever it is, just to blend it.
- 40:58SPEAKER_02: So it looks like their hair.
- 40:59SPEAKER_02: Black women, man.
- 41:00SPEAKER_02: And then they have closures where it's like you just put that to basically close off the whole weave and it's just all weave.
- 41:06SPEAKER_02: I've seen a video on WorldStar, one of these websites that a woman removed her weave and it was maggots growing shit.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: I was in it, because I think she left her weave in for like three or four years or some shit like that.
- 41:16SPEAKER_02: And when they took out the weave in her braids, there's like worms and maggots growing in her braids.
- 41:21SPEAKER_02: Why does she because she never took care of it, she never washed it.
- 41:24SPEAKER_02: And this is my thing.
- 41:25SPEAKER_02: If that could happen, if that could happen, because she probably went somewhere where it was dirty, it probably got into her hair and she never cleaned her hair.
- 41:34SPEAKER_02: Or she could have just had her natural hair with a little bantu knots.
- 41:38SPEAKER_02: And this is my thing.
- 41:39SPEAKER_02: If that could happen from we that can't happen for my fucking sneakers.
- 41:42SPEAKER_02: Let me ask you a question.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: Do you know what Lupita Nyongo looks like?
- 41:44SPEAKER_02: Who?
- 41:45SPEAKER_02: Lupita Nyongo.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: No.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: I want you to Google her right now.
- 41:47SPEAKER_02: Tell me.
- 41:48SPEAKER_02: I feel like Lupita.
- 41:49SPEAKER_01: This is gonna be repulsed.
- 41:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know, yes.
- 41:50SPEAKER_02: Because he hates himself too.
- 41:51SPEAKER_02: This is why I don't understand why he's talking all this shit.
- 41:53SPEAKER_02: He hates himself too.
- 41:54SPEAKER_02: Nah, I ain't gonna lie.
- 41:56SPEAKER_02: I I had to do a second guess and I looked at what you call it.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: Shut up.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: Shut the fuck up.
- 42:00SPEAKER_02: Shut up.
- 42:02SPEAKER_01: Nah, he's talking about Brian Mile.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: Bream out trash.
- 42:04SPEAKER_01: Lupita Nyong.
- 42:09SPEAKER_02: Good butt bad actress.
- 42:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:13SPEAKER_02: She was in love interest in uh in Black Panther.
- 42:16SPEAKER_02: And she was in Star Wars.
- 42:18SPEAKER_02: Um she made her uh her fame in Twelve Years a Slave.
- 42:21SPEAKER_02: I refuse to watch that movie though.
- 42:27SPEAKER_02: This is too much talent.
- 42:36SPEAKER_02: I just gonna lie.
- 42:38SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't that wouldn't be my first interest.
- 42:41SPEAKER_02: But why?
- 42:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:44SPEAKER_02: I think she's pretty.
- 42:46SPEAKER_02: She's not she is pretty, but she's not she's not my interest.
- 42:50SPEAKER_02: She don't have enough hair for you.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: Nah, it's not even that.
- 42:52SPEAKER_02: So what is it?
- 42:53SPEAKER_02: I want to hear what it is.
- 42:55SPEAKER_02: A little too dark.
- 42:59SPEAKER_02: But I I'll give it to her.
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: She she's not ugly.
- 43:01SPEAKER_02: She is pretty.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: See, why the reason why I like girls like that in these big movies is because they're not scared to show who they really are.
- 43:08SPEAKER_02: No, it's just that this is a girl that my sister can relate to.
- 43:11SPEAKER_02: True.
- 43:12SPEAKER_02: My sister can't relate to Linky Minaj.
- 43:15SPEAKER_01: My sister does not have$30,000 to spend on hair, makeup, and clothing to make herself look like a white girl with a big butt.
- 43:22SPEAKER_01: Like that shots.
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: Like uh the other actress that played Tachala's sister is another black woman.
- 43:29SPEAKER_02: None of this fake prosthetic uh enhancements of her body.
- 43:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, damn, she was in here too.
- 43:35SPEAKER_02: The lady from um oh, what's that TV show?
- 43:38SPEAKER_02: Um this lady.
- 43:40SPEAKER_02: Um from uh what you call it?
- 43:43SPEAKER_02: Um speaking, The Walking Dead.
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, she's another example.
- 43:47SPEAKER_02: All right, she wears a wig.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: No, she wears a wig in The Walking Dead.
- 43:51SPEAKER_02: That's not her natural hair.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: It's a wig, but it's it's dreads.
- 43:55SPEAKER_02: That's what I was saying.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: That's not her natural hair short.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: She just did it, she shaved her hair for.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Movie, but her natural hairs are just short.
- 44:01SPEAKER_02: See, I never knew that.
- 44:02SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 44:02SPEAKER_02: But she's another one that she's pretty.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: I never knew her hair was that short.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: Anyone else got anything else to say about Black Tant?
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: I got one more thing to say.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: I want to ask.
- 44:18SPEAKER_02: Okay, so T'Challa, uh, Killmonger comes to Wakanda with this um with a guy who attacked uh Wakanda like a like years ago.
- 44:26SPEAKER_02: No, ideology-wise, people.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: Ideology is uh T'Challa doesn't want to expose his people to the world and Killmonger wants to arm every black in the world with this vibrant weapons.
- 44:38SPEAKER_02: No, actually, I like Killmonger.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: A lot of people like his idea, but I don't but what I don't like about it is if he doesn't like you can't be the loudest person in the room if you don't have the the uh the power behind it.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: No, he be k he was king.
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: He was king.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: He was king of Wakanda.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, no, but I'm saying, but in order to for him to like go about an ambition as big as that, like he's he's up against a big opposition.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: No, he wasn't, he was doing it.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: Of the world?
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: No, that was his goal.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: No, but I'm saying though, no, Wakanda has the the ability to remove everybody.
- 45:10SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
- 45:12SPEAKER_02: And his his his method uh uh his method was he filled up all these planes because remember, he was in the army, he traveled the world, and he even said himself he had to kill his own brothers and sisters too in these wars, fighting alongside his oppressors.
- 45:23SPEAKER_02: Right, right, right.
- 45:24SPEAKER_02: So he felt like he was part of the problem too.
- 45:26SPEAKER_02: So he filled up these super advanced jets with all these uh vibrant weapons to bring it to Oakland, to bring it to these black neighborhoods, these black people, so they can start toppling governments wherever they at.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 45:37SPEAKER_02: And T'Challo's just like this is bloodshed, like this is this is not the way we should do this, number one.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 45:42SPEAKER_02: And T'Challa, when he became king, um, you get like you go through this this like very voodoo ritualistic thing.
- 45:48SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of voodoo shit in this movie.
- 45:49SPEAKER_02: Like I uh like as a as a Christian person, I wasn't really feeling it, but it's fantasy, so it was cool.
- 45:54SPEAKER_02: But um, this I wouldn't say it's fantasy because I feel like that's what they want to portray that in a lot of these third world countries, these black people are doing.
- 46:03SPEAKER_02: Not this, right?
- 46:04SPEAKER_02: Not as people their religion is ancestor worship.
- 46:07SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 46:08SPEAKER_02: Because that was that's what he did.
- 46:09SPEAKER_02: So he took this uh this thing, he he basically died.
- 46:12SPEAKER_02: He spoke to his dad in uh in um their their heaven, I guess, the astral plane, and um he was telling his dad how he doesn't know how to be a king, and uh because Wakanda has always been isolated, and he's telling him, Y'all, like I'm I may not I may not want to do that.
- 46:30SPEAKER_02: Like he was struggling with that.
- 46:31SPEAKER_02: So Killmonger actually changed T'Challa, like he gave him the confidence, and he sees the reason why Wakanda helping the world would be better, but through the comics, I know what's gonna happen.
- 46:43SPEAKER_02: It opens up the country to be attacked by Thanos, and um, and basically kind of backfires.
- 46:49SPEAKER_02: But at the end of the movie, T'Challa opens up uh like he the building that uh Killmonger's dad got killed in, he turned it into like a uh an ambassador outreach thing, and he flew in one of these high-tech jets and landed it right in the projects, and all the black is running up to him, like, yo, this is that new Bugatti uh spaceship.
- 47:05SPEAKER_02: Yo, let's sell this shit on eBay.
- 47:07SPEAKER_02: And his sisters are like, nah, guys, let's not do that.
- 47:08SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna teach you guys about math and science and technology.
- 47:10SPEAKER_02: And that's basically how the movie ended.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: That's tight, that's tight, that's a good idea.
- 47:13SPEAKER_02: So the basically the battle between the mentalities, in my opinion, Killmonger won because he got to change the mind of Wakandan.
- 47:20SPEAKER_02: Right, right, right.
- 47:20SPEAKER_02: And they're like, and um, isn't it Wakandianites?
- 47:23SPEAKER_02: I don't know what it is, but uh T'Challa's girlfriend in the movie, his ex-girlfriend, uh, she was a spy.
- 47:28SPEAKER_02: They did this your beautiful Boko Haram thing, and that's what I also wanted to speak about.
- 47:32SPEAKER_02: Because um, people don't talk about Boko Haram because it's black girls getting abducted from schools in African countries, and nobody gives a fuck about that.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Like these girls is like still missing.
- 47:40SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 47:40SPEAKER_02: And like Boko Haram is still doing this.
- 47:42SPEAKER_02: But we hear about ISIS every day.
- 47:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we never hear about Boko Haram because it's black women.
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: But she's a spy for Wakanda, like Wakanda has mass spies.
- 47:50SPEAKER_02: So in the beginning of the movie, how we're introduced to her character is that she's in the Muslim garb and she's in the back of a truck full of other women that got kidnapped, kidnapped by Boko Haram, and T'Challa comes and saves them, and she gets mad at him because he's he's killing everybody, and he's about to kill this.
- 48:05SPEAKER_02: T'achala's killing everybody?
- 48:06SPEAKER_02: She's about to kill this one kid, and then she's like, she stops him and she pulls the kid's mask.
- 48:09SPEAKER_02: She's like, This is a kid, he was abducted too.
- 48:11SPEAKER_02: Like he's a child's soldier, like, don't kill him, like send him back to his family.
- 48:14SPEAKER_02: So Tichala's like, alright, cool.
- 48:16SPEAKER_02: And her like she's upset with him because she does she's just like Killmonger.
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: She doesn't like the fact that um she's stuck in Wakanda, she can't help all these uh neighboring African people that are going through the shit that they're going through.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 48:27SPEAKER_02: So the combination of Killmonger's character, like he was extreme, and she was like a little bit softer on the inclusion side.
- 48:34SPEAKER_02: It kind of broke his character down, and it had a positive result.
- 48:38SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay.
- 48:39SPEAKER_02: A lot of people agree with that.
- 48:40SPEAKER_02: It sounded like a great movie.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: No, it was a it was a good movie, but outside of the whole, like it was a good comic book.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: I think it's like top three in Mar in the Marvel movie so far.
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: What's the other two?
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: Uh Iron Man the Civil War movie was a was amazing.
- 48:50SPEAKER_02: I didn't see that one.
- 48:52SPEAKER_02: And um the the new the new Thor one, Ragnarok, is pretty good too.
- 48:56SPEAKER_02: But that's just my opinion.
- 48:57SPEAKER_02: But that was Black Panther in 30 minutes.
- 49:01SPEAKER_02: That was the third Thor.
- 49:03SPEAKER_02: Thor got a lot of movies.
- 49:05SPEAKER_02: No, Catherine America has three as well.
- 49:07SPEAKER_02: Thor also came out like 2003.
- 49:09SPEAKER_02: I know Iron Man has three.
- 49:10SPEAKER_02: I never knew Captain America has been.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: Iron Man has three, Captain America has three.
- 49:12SPEAKER_02: Civil War counts as uh um Wolverine got way more than those those movies aren't part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- 49:19SPEAKER_02: What are they part of?
- 49:20SPEAKER_02: They were Fox, I think.
- 49:22SPEAKER_02: Well, Fox uh Disney just bought uh X-Men though.
- 49:25SPEAKER_02: So now X-Men is about to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- 49:28SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: That was Black Panther in 30 minutes, everybody?
- 49:32SPEAKER_02: But since we want to talk about King of Everything, there's this there's this feud going around.
- 49:37SPEAKER_02: I'm King of New York, I'm King of New York when 6ix9ine made the statement that he feels like he's the best rapper out of New York, and also the fact that his recent trip to California, he was untouched, shows that you're making fun of New York.
- 49:49SPEAKER_02: But I'm putting up the numbers, I'm getting the most notoriety, and it just kind of sparked like a whole bomb now.
- 49:57SPEAKER_02: Him and Jay Chris apparently have beef because Jay Chris apparently thinks he's the best in New York.
- 50:01SPEAKER_02: I thought it was Jay Hood, not Jay Chris.
- 50:03SPEAKER_02: Jay nah, that's a blood nigga.
- 50:05SPEAKER_02: That's totally different thing.
- 50:06SPEAKER_02: But Jay Chris, him and Jay Chris are going back and forth because Jay Chris says he feels like he's the best in New York.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: First of all, neither of those niggas are the king of New York.
- 50:13SPEAKER_02: Out of these new niggas, it's probably like a Boogie.
- 50:15SPEAKER_02: That's I mean, the A Boogie put made a post.
- 50:17SPEAKER_02: He said, anybody besides Hove doesn't need to talk to me about being king of New York.
- 50:23SPEAKER_02: Not even Don Q.
- 50:24SPEAKER_02: Don Then Don Q just said king this, king that.
- 50:26SPEAKER_02: There's only one Don.
- 50:29SPEAKER_02: This shit is corny.
- 50:30SPEAKER_02: Like I said, I feel like I'm doing it for a name.
- 50:33SPEAKER_02: Just to get somewhere.
- 50:34SPEAKER_02: No, too.
- 50:35SPEAKER_02: Because Takashi's doing his thing.
- 50:37SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 50:37SPEAKER_02: He's smart.
- 50:38SPEAKER_02: He's he's using the hate in a positive way.
- 50:42SPEAKER_02: He's using what um Damn.
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: It was that song with J.
- 50:47SPEAKER_02: Electronica that happened when Kendrick said it and everybody.
- 50:51SPEAKER_02: What?
- 50:52SPEAKER_02: Control was the song.
- 50:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 50:53SPEAKER_02: When he said it, everybody would go.
- 50:55SPEAKER_02: 6ix9ine's doing the same tactics.
- 50:57SPEAKER_02: I think 6ix9ine is doing what 50 Cent did, man.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: This guy's got to do that.
- 51:01SPEAKER_02: Spewing up all the controversy he can.
- 51:04SPEAKER_02: And it's working because he's selling records.
- 51:06SPEAKER_02: He's I think he's doing like 69 his first week, and his label only predicted 55k.
- 51:11SPEAKER_02: He did 55k.
- 51:13SPEAKER_02: He wanted to do 69, but it didn't make it.
- 51:16SPEAKER_02: Still 55, though.
- 51:17SPEAKER_02: Since we're talking about blash, this is what I want to talk about.
- 51:20SPEAKER_02: Did you see what OJ said?
- 51:22SPEAKER_02: OJ?
- 51:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:23SPEAKER_02: How do we go from King De York to OJ Simpson?
- 51:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: What's his name?
- 51:27SPEAKER_02: Did you see what OJ said?
- 51:28SPEAKER_02: What did OJ say?
- 51:29SPEAKER_02: Did you see what OJ said?
- 51:32SPEAKER_02: I'm going to read you the words.
- 51:34SPEAKER_02: Did he finally confess to be um what's the face of dad?
- 51:38SPEAKER_02: No, he confessed to the murder.
- 51:39SPEAKER_02: I don't know if he ever did it before.
- 51:42SPEAKER_02: But what a ghost shit too.
- 51:44SPEAKER_02: It was OJ about the diet.
- 51:45SPEAKER_02: This is what he said in the interview.
- 51:47SPEAKER_02: He said, an unnamed accomplice that was with me on the night of the murder, Simpson reportly said that he went to Nicole's house to scare the shit out of her.
- 51:56SPEAKER_02: And he wore a hat and gloves to amp up the scare factor.
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: He then saw Ron Goldman, a waiter from the restaurant that Nicole had just eaten at, return a pair of sunglasses that her mother left at the eatery.
- 52:08SPEAKER_02: The sight of Ron and Nicole together sent me into rage, and I blacked out and came till came out with blood all over myself.
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: What the hell did that mean?
- 52:19SPEAKER_02: Does that not mean you went in there and committed that crime?
- 52:21SPEAKER_02: No, in the book he legit tells you exactly how he did it.
- 52:24SPEAKER_02: If I were to do it.
- 52:25SPEAKER_02: And this is my thing.
- 52:26SPEAKER_02: So now what how could I put it?
- 52:31SPEAKER_02: Now that he got out, right?
- 52:32SPEAKER_02: Two words for something else.
- 52:33SPEAKER_02: Johnny could have popped what could possibly happen now that he finally admits it is a case just so close that nothing can be happening.
- 52:46SPEAKER_02: I can't if I if I bring you to court for shooting my uncle and you get off, I can't bring you to court for shooting my uncle.
- 52:54SPEAKER_02: They have to find a new thing.
- 52:55SPEAKER_02: That's it.
- 52:56SPEAKER_02: So good.
- 52:57SPEAKER_02: What y'all don't understand is that OJ beat the criminal case, but he lost the civil case.
- 53:01SPEAKER_02: What do you mean the civil case?
- 53:03SPEAKER_02: So the family sued him in civil court and won.
- 53:07SPEAKER_02: So it's not like they didn't get nothing from their daughter getting killed.
- 53:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 53:10SPEAKER_02: So they took all of OJ's money.
- 53:11SPEAKER_02: They took the same thing OJ went to jail for recently is basically still connected to the OJ trial because since he got he lost the civil case, they took his trophies, all his memorabilia.
- 53:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 53:22SPEAKER_02: He went and tried to steal it back.
- 53:23SPEAKER_02: And then that's what he was in jail for this whole time.
- 53:26SPEAKER_02: So OJ won the battle, I guess, but he lost the war because he ended up doing jail time anyways.
- 53:31SPEAKER_02: And he lost a civil suit.
- 53:32SPEAKER_02: So he's technically did get he did get his crime upins for killing these people.
- 53:37SPEAKER_02: Because to me, it's like See the book that he wrote, they got all the money.
- 53:42SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 53:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 53:43SPEAKER_02: He lost a civil suit.
- 53:44SPEAKER_02: Because this is my thing.
- 53:46SPEAKER_02: The law is a funny thing.
- 53:47SPEAKER_02: Everybody, when he was coming out, was so hype, he's coming out to say third.
- 53:52SPEAKER_02: And now he says this in the interview.
- 53:55SPEAKER_02: And how I was looking at it like, let's say I brought you up on trial for killing my uncle.
- 53:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:00SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 54:01SPEAKER_02: Now, can I bring you up on trial or whatever or sue you or whatever for grief or whatever?
- 54:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they did it already in the civil case.
- 54:08SPEAKER_02: And they won.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: So there's nothing else that they could bring him up on.
- 54:11SPEAKER_02: No.
- 54:12SPEAKER_02: So now basically he he basically what no, he basically did what all these these, I guess like take and all the money.
- 54:20SPEAKER_02: These rappers?
- 54:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but he's really about what he raps about.
- 54:23SPEAKER_02: Well, what they rap about.
- 54:24SPEAKER_02: That is crazy.
- 54:26SPEAKER_02: That is crazy.
- 54:28SPEAKER_02: Life brought crazy.
- 54:30SPEAKER_02: That is crazy.
- 54:31SPEAKER_02: I mean, once you get off, the double jeopardy is just like, what the fuck you gonna do?
- 54:34SPEAKER_02: But now is that is that do you feel like double jeopardy is uh is a good law?
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:40SPEAKER_02: The fuck you bringing it up twice with nigga?
- 54:42SPEAKER_02: The justice system is just flawed because of situations like OJ.
- 54:46SPEAKER_02: Is that OJ just had a very good defense team versus a very shitty um prosecuting team?
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: That's why the law is not always just because people get off all the time because they have the money to pay for their lawyers.
- 54:57SPEAKER_02: No, because what I would what I heard was the reason why they were saying the glove didn't fit is because it was in the range, shit like that.
- 55:02SPEAKER_02: No, but outside of all of that, the prosecuting team just didn't do their due diligence of getting enough because they thought this was just such a cut and dry case.
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: That it was over, like we don't have to do much work.
- 55:13SPEAKER_02: We got this nigga, and this is way back in the day before um the um DNA was like a like a really a thing you could use in court because it wasn't as accurate, like people didn't believe in it as much.
- 55:23SPEAKER_02: And it was just he's everything was broke even.
- 55:26SPEAKER_02: And black America got a W because we feel like over the hundreds of years of police brutality, we finally get one.
- 55:32SPEAKER_02: We see white people walk all the time.
- 55:34SPEAKER_02: But that's what I'm saying.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: That's why black people always ride for OJ.
- 55:37SPEAKER_02: That that's what I'm saying, but like even though OJ didn't fuck with black people.
- 55:39SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 55:40SPEAKER_02: Like, now to me, it's like that's why I want to bring it up.
- 55:42SPEAKER_02: Because now it doesn't, it doesn't make sense why niggas would ride for him to enter because of the shit, like, this is what we're riding for.
- 55:51SPEAKER_02: Beating the man, yeah.
- 55:52SPEAKER_02: Everybody why do you like the rappers that you like?
- 55:54SPEAKER_02: It's because they're consistently beating the system.
- 55:57SPEAKER_02: Is it though?
- 55:58SPEAKER_02: No, is it?
- 55:59SPEAKER_02: No.
- 55:59SPEAKER_02: Why do you like the rappers that you're not gonna do it?
- 56:01SPEAKER_02: I feel like the content.
- 56:02SPEAKER_02: I feel like the content.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: What is the content about?
- 56:04SPEAKER_02: What do you mean?
- 56:04SPEAKER_02: Like I like me when I was.
- 56:06SPEAKER_02: What is TK song about?
- 56:07SPEAKER_02: What do you mean?
- 56:08SPEAKER_02: What is TK's song?
- 56:09SPEAKER_02: You brought up TK?
- 56:10SPEAKER_02: No, I don't brought him up because that's who I see like these younger people want like always.
- 56:14SPEAKER_02: Okay, so what is it?
- 56:14SPEAKER_02: What is the music about being the system?
- 56:16SPEAKER_02: Okay, so how am I wrong?
- 56:17SPEAKER_02: But I'm just saying, like, as far as like like I'm just saying as far as like the music, I listen to I I don't listen to for shit people say, to be honest.
- 56:25SPEAKER_02: You listen to this drill fake New York Dream.
- 56:27SPEAKER_02: I listen for shit soccer.
- 56:30SPEAKER_02: That's he's talking about his name is beating the system.
- 56:32SPEAKER_02: What does Chinx drugs mean?
- 56:34SPEAKER_02: Well, his name is now Chinx.
- 56:35SPEAKER_02: Booking on the state.
- 56:37SPEAKER_02: All these niggas rap about is beating the system.
- 56:40SPEAKER_02: That's what y'all like about them.
- 56:41SPEAKER_02: Cause to me, I'm like, yo, this shit's crazy.
- 56:43SPEAKER_02: Like, it took him this long to say it.
- 56:45SPEAKER_02: No, it didn't, nigga.
- 56:46SPEAKER_02: He had the book already.
- 56:48SPEAKER_02: But but he alright, so like the book, if I did it.
- 56:51SPEAKER_02: That wasn't necessarily saying I did the book.
- 56:53SPEAKER_02: Did you read the book?
- 56:55SPEAKER_02: No, I didn't read the whole book.
- 56:56SPEAKER_02: I read the book.
- 56:57SPEAKER_02: He literally gives you the details of how he killed her, why he killed her, how he got away with it.
- 57:02SPEAKER_02: That's what the book was.
- 57:06SPEAKER_02: That shit is crazy.
- 57:09SPEAKER_02: That shit is real crazy.
- 57:10SPEAKER_02: Alright, what else y'all niggas want to talk about?
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: Also, with rap and fame and everything like that, first of all, famous Dex chain got stolen.
- 57:18SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you know, whatever.
- 57:21SPEAKER_02: It got snatched after a show in Califor in California.
- 57:27SPEAKER_02: And it's been passed around and rented out.
- 57:30SPEAKER_02: That's what's up.
- 57:31SPEAKER_02: To different rappers in the community.
- 57:33SPEAKER_02: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 57:34SPEAKER_02: His chain got stolen and it's been passed around and rented out to different artists.
- 57:38SPEAKER_02: Yes, to where and basically everybody's punking him.
- 57:41SPEAKER_02: And the nigga that stole is like, listen, bro, all you gotta do is pay me to get your chain back.
- 57:45SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 57:46SPEAKER_02: All Dex did was buy new chains.
- 57:49SPEAKER_02: But why is niggas, I guess, renting it out?
- 57:52SPEAKER_00: Why is this even a topic?
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: We're gonna ask that question.
- 57:56SPEAKER_00: Why is this a topic?
- 57:57SPEAKER_00: Do you have topics for you?
- 57:58SPEAKER_00: Do you have topics?
- 57:59SPEAKER_00: Well, what do you gotta say about this fucking famous Dexter?
- 58:02SPEAKER_00: Do you have topics?
- 58:03SPEAKER_00: Fuck that chain.
- 58:05SPEAKER_01: But Dumb Ashton, do you have a topic?
- 58:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I do got a topic.
- 58:09SPEAKER_02: Let's talk about it.
- 58:09SPEAKER_02: What do you think?
- 58:10SPEAKER_02: What's on your mind today?
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: Let's stop talking about bullshit.
- 58:12SPEAKER_02: Starting out.
- 58:13SPEAKER_02: What's on your topic?
- 58:14SPEAKER_02: That's my topic, right now.
- 58:15SPEAKER_02: This is what's gonna kill the podcast, thank you.
- 58:17SPEAKER_02: But um Yeah, shut up.
- 58:18SPEAKER_02: In other news.
- 58:19SPEAKER_02: So I I have I I propose something.
- 58:23SPEAKER_02: I want Gas Money to start a TV show.
- 58:26SPEAKER_02: Because I seen a lot of shit this, you know.
- 58:29SPEAKER_02: I'm actually working on a TV show past couple weeks.
- 58:32SPEAKER_02: Anime.
- 58:32SPEAKER_02: Where people have started a show.
- 58:34SPEAKER_02: So you know the famous Nori, right?
- 58:38SPEAKER_02: You've seen how Jadakiss was in left rack, everybody's going crazy.
- 58:41SPEAKER_02: Do you know why Jadakiss was in left rack?
- 58:43SPEAKER_02: No.
- 58:44SPEAKER_02: Nori has now a TV show.
- 58:46SPEAKER_02: Called Cooking with Nori or something like that.
- 58:47SPEAKER_02: No, on the run on the roll with Norri.
- 58:49SPEAKER_02: On the run with Nori, right?
- 58:50SPEAKER_02: What is it about?
- 58:52SPEAKER_02: Going to places where all these famous people eat and you know they say taste good, and you go to the show.
- 58:58SPEAKER_02: So what's the difference between Nori's show and Action Bronson's show?
- 59:02SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 59:04SPEAKER_02: No, so listen, so listen.
- 59:06SPEAKER_02: This is the difference between Nori's show and what'd you call it?
- 59:10SPEAKER_02: Nori Show is not, I'll say eating left rack.
- 59:16SPEAKER_02: It's not like it's like the gritty, like down, however you could put like it's like me and you going to eat anywhere and like not caring.
- 59:26SPEAKER_02: Where do you go though?
- 59:28SPEAKER_02: Curse, drink.
- 59:29SPEAKER_02: But the way they do it is they do it like how when we went to Queen's Coverhouse BYOB, everywhere they go, they bring bottles and pop.
- 59:35SPEAKER_02: So it's like basically them popping bottles at a spot but eating food.
- 59:41SPEAKER_02: So this is not being the system?
- 59:43SPEAKER_02: But this is This is being the system too.
- 59:45SPEAKER_02: But this is what kills me.
- 59:47SPEAKER_02: But this is what kills me, and this is why I said I I want guest when it started a TV show.
- 59:51SPEAKER_02: To me, it's very ignorant.
- 59:53SPEAKER_02: Doing what though?
- 59:54SPEAKER_02: Because he brought Jadakus to the hood or whatever.
- 59:57SPEAKER_02: And they sampled, they sampled Lefrac pizza.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_02: Not even Vinny's.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_02: Not even Vinny's.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_02: They sampled the other pizza at the other block that nobody really eats from.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_02: And it's like that just started.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_02: So you're not even paying homage to the pizzeria that's been there from when the hood was Then you go to church earlier.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_02: You see what I'm saying?
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_02: Then it's like they go to this place and like I think it was the A, there's sin and smoking at the table.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_02: But in the video, there's regular people there, and like you can see kids.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_02: Now, what got to me is Kodak's case.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_02: Kodak got a case now for having people smoking in his house while his kids around.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_02: That's his own child, though.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_02: And he had prior cases.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_02: What's the difference between the wrong thing?
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_02: What's the difference between endangering my own kid and endangering somebody else's kid that's in the area of me smoking a blunt?
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_02: I mean, Kodak did not have a whole production team behind him.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_02: He probably didn't have a permit.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_02: Also, there was weapons in the house.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_02: He probably didn't have a permit to be smoking in his house.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_02: What you call it, didn't it have a permit?
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_02: They don't have no permit.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_02: How do you know that?
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_02: Because when when when they did um The Charlie ATL, the child didn't have a digital.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, when they did Georgia, they went to where Malcolm um Martin Luther King's house was, I think it was.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_02: And the people came like, you guys don't have a permit.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_02: Cops and everything.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_02: You're seeing this live as they're doing it.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_02: Like, even in his Instagram, in his Instagram live, you've seen the cops come, like, you guys don't have a permit, you guys can't be here.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_02: And what was the result?
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_02: They got thrown out.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_02: It's like this on on on online.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_02: It's not on actual television.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_02: No, I think it, I think they got something.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_02: I mean if I'm not sure, I'm not positive.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_02: It's probably on one of those MTV channels.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_02: I'm not positive.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_02: I think they have something revolt.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_02: I'm not 100%.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_02: They probably do, because Drink Champs is signed to the remote.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_02: I'm not 100% positive.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_02: Charlotte the producer on this show, too.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_02: But they I know they have it.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_02: For what show?
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_02: The Nori on the run shit.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_02: But I know they have it on regular TV.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_02: But the only thing I would say that he's smart is now this also boosts his his nephew's career.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_02: Oh, really?
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's this boosted his career.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_02: Who's his nephew?
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_02: He's trying to be a rapper.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_02: But that boosts his career.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_02: What's his full name?
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_02: What, Young Really or something like that?
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:02:05SPEAKER_02: But that boosted his career because now you're seen with all these people and all these.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_02: It's like what you do.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_02: It's like networking.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_02: Like just the other when they last up with this with like CeeLo, Big Boy, um, who else they had?
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_02: They went to eat at Two Chains restaurant.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_02: So it's like.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_02: I don't even know Two Chain had a restaurant.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_02: He had the T uh restaurant.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_02: And that's the only thing I got from it.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_02: I was like, it's also putting me onto stuff that like now when I travel, I do want to see.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_02: You didn't watch Man Versus Food?
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_02: I want to go to the only restaurant I really give a fuck about, honestly, out of all these celebrity restaurants, is uh Finger Licking.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_02: But whose restaurant is that?
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_02: That's DJ Khaled shit.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_02: Uh uh.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_02: There's a chain in Florida.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_02: That's actually pretty good.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_02: But it just what I realize it's easy for anybody out there know what to make anything and become rich.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_02: Duh.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_02: Anything.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_02: That's what that's what you draw drag this whole thing off.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_02: Yes, anything.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_02: Shut the fuck up.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_02: Anything.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_02: Anyway, speaking about rich, Rick Roy's hospitalized, apparently has several seizures.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_02: Apparently, he's on a life support machine.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_02: That's false.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_02: Some say it's not.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_02: I wasn't finished.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_02: But it is false.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_02: So so he's not drinking a lean.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_02: Why are we still drinking a lean?
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_02: So wait, wait.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_02: So he's not in hospital.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_02: He is hospitalized.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_02: He's not on a life support machine.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_02: My whole opinion about this topic was uh Pusha T once said that wealth does not buy health.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_02: And I'm actually really proud of you, Chubby, for actually taking your health into um consideration now.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_02: Um but in the black community, that stuff is not, it's always until it's too late when people give a fuck about their health.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_02: But he was working out, he was losing the weight.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_02: He was doing that for fucking TV.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_02: Alright, so TV?
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_02: This is what, this is what, since you brought that up, this is what I want to talk about.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_02: Callie was working out for TV.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_02: This is what I want to bring.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_02: Nah, I don't know.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_02: He stopped.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_02: Why is 50 still dragging that beef?
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_02: What beef?
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_02: That's the only L head.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_02: So he puts up, he puts up a screenshot of Rick Ross on life support and wrote no comment.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_02: Then after everyone was getting tight.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_02: Let's after everyone was getting tight, he he comments, everyone's getting mad at me because that nigga had too many lemon pepper wings.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_02: That was the first thing he said.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_02: He also put up the Rocky nigga too.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_02: Look, so look, that's what I was getting at.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_02: Then he puts up, he puts up a picture of Drago with no comment.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_02: If he dies, he dies.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_02: So everybody was sitting like, what the hell is this supposed to be?
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_02: He comments, think about what he says at the end.
- 1:04:45SPEAKER_02: And I was just like, if he, I was just like, why?
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_02: Like if he does, why are you still dragging this petty ass beat?
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_02: When 50 cents does shit like this, it really upsets me that I was actually like a really big fan of this guy.
- 1:04:58SPEAKER_02: Like, it's like, yo, you have power coming out.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_02: You're doing good.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_02: Like if Ja Rule says something, that's the same thing.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_02: Ja Rule deserved that.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_02: But that's what I'm saying.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_02: Jaru took an L.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_02: You know 50 got the W.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_02: Ja Rule says something, you comment, you go back.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_02: Nah, Ja Ru asked to get his because he basically said that 50 didn't want to see him in a in a physical altercation.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_02: If I know I got the W, I'm I'm not gonna sit there and entertain the bullshit commenting is.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_02: That's not entertaining bullshit if this guy, Ja Rule is still trying to make money off of my name.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_02: Like every time Ja Rule speaks, why does he have to bring up 50 cents?
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_02: I'll be upset too.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_02: This raw situation to me is a different thing.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_02: Like this is somebody's life.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_02: Like, come on now.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_02: I like I don't know.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_02: This nigga 50 is just reckless, ruthless, and it just shows us a lot of how his career was based.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_02: Because if you really think about his career, that's all he did.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, sure.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_02: 50 had hit, shit bugging.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_02: 50's career wasn't based off beef and whatever records.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_02: That's how he got in the door.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_02: But when he was in his prime, it was not beef records.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_02: He beefed with Jaru.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_02: No, this is all in the beginning of his career.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_02: So, alright, they mean one hit record at one point when he wasn't beef with somebody.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_02: Out of control.
- 1:06:13SPEAKER_02: Remix.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_02: That's what Mobile.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_02: Stunner 101?
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_02: He was beefing with Fat Joe and Kiss at that time.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_02: Stunner 101.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_02: Out of control.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_02: I'm not saying on that song he was he made it.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_02: Stunner 101?
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_02: But during that time he was beefing with Jada Kiss and Fat Joe.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_02: Okay, but the beef was not the reason why he was hot.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_02: Candy Shad was beef?
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_02: I'm not saying that the songs was.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_02: What do you say to King Shadow?
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_02: When he came out with the tape.
- 1:06:37SPEAKER_02: Let's say he came out with the tape.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_02: That was his way of getting into rap, yes.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_02: He was beefing with somebody and then making songs that were just songs.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_02: No, I disagree.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_02: When he came into hip hop, all of his songs were at dissing the rappers that were around.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_02: He did not have any hit records.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_02: So that point is mute.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_02: Candy Shop is the number one song.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_02: Okay, but on that tape, what else was on that tape?
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_02: Tape.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_02: That was an album.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_02: When I say tape, an album, mixtape, whatever.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_02: I just say tape.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_02: But Phineas has never came out with an album and it's just been one song.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_02: But I'm just saying, Disco Inferno's a beef song?
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_02: But I'm just I'm not saying that songs are beef songs.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_02: I'm saying every time he was coming out with albums, he was beefing with somebody that would promote the album.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_02: Who was he beefing with when him and Kanye dropped their record?
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_02: What record was that?
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_02: They just dropped it at the same time.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_02: It was Curtis.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_02: It might have been.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_02: I don't even know.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_02: Which album was that?
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_02: Were they dropped the album at the same time?
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_02: I think it was Curtis.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was Curtis.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_02: I know it's the couple.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_02: Curtis?
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_02: Curtis was which cover?
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_02: That was a great cover.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_02: He wasn't.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_02: They just dropped at the same time with Kanye Smokey.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_02: No, because he was beefing with um Kanye smoked him.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_02: He was beefing at some with somebody at the end.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_02: Nope.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_02: Right before his control right before his career was on the decline.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_02: The last beef he had was with Rick Ross.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_02: No, he didn't.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_02: Who's he beefing after Rick Ross?
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_02: He was beefed with the game after Rick Ross.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_02: It wasn't before what are you talking about?
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_02: He wasn't being with the game and Young Buck after, no?
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_02: He patched up the game.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_01: He patched everything up with the game in 2005.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_02: After they came to um Shea Stadium, he had beef with the game saying this is why he's not allowed to come back on tour when they brought Young Buck back.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_02: So the game 56 sub beef.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_02: It's not beef, but they not.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_02: So then why are we talking about if it's not beef?
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_02: Because I'm saying this is what I feel made his career.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_02: The same shit he's doing that.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_02: No, how he got into rap, absolutely.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_02: What made his career was songs like In the Club.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_02: Case go Inferno, bro.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_02: And P.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_02: I M P.
- 1:08:35SPEAKER_02: Those are not beef records.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_02: But he was still beefing with the I'm not saying no, but you understand when you're beefing with somebody, you actually lose money.
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_02: Okay, if I the same reason with the Takashi nigga, why he's ultimately losing money.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_02: If I if a show is renting me, uh is booking me, right?
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_02: If I have beef with somebody, they have to have added security.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_02: That comes out of their pocket.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_02: But that's to me, that's what he was doing to promote his eye.
- 1:09:03SPEAKER_02: No, he wasn't.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_02: You're just an ignorant fool.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_02: You don't know shit about hip hop anyway.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_02: I hate talking about hip-hop with you.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_02: You don't know shit about shit.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_02: You don't know shit about nothing besides motocross.

- 1:09:17SPEAKER_02: Don't talk, cause I ain't hear shit from you all day.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_02: So we done with Rick Ross Hell.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we done with Rick Ross.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_02: Hell.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_02: Alright, I want to talk about um Give me, I'm gonna keep it hip hop.
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_02: So since you know some of the shit about 50 Cent His shit, how long has the South been running hip hop now?
- 1:09:37SPEAKER_02: The South still not running hip hop?
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_02: I was about to say.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like how how long is this ring going on for?
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_02: I'd say a little way from the South.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_02: The South's still running hip-hop.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_02: 30 years.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_02: Because every time somebody from the North 30 years is retarded.
- 1:09:51SPEAKER_02: But yeah.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_02: Okay, so when did they start running hip-hop?
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_02: I would say that I would say that like the 1990s.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_02: It was like I would say, I would say like 1990s.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_02: No, because that's when Hove and everybody was.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_02: That's when Hove and all of them started falling off.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_02: Are you drunk?
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_02: I would say not follow up, but like they wasn't putting out content code.

- 1:10:18SPEAKER_01: 2005.

- 1:10:53SPEAKER_01: So you're right.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_01: So yeah, it was like maybe 2005.

- 1:11:13SPEAKER_02: Oh, we only in 2018.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_02: I wasn't in the nineties.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_02: It's 2005.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_02: It wasn't in the 1950s.
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_02: So DMX wasn't rapping then.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_01: Two fucking Scarface and them?
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_01: Uh you got Scarface, you got to make it.

- 1:11:39SPEAKER_02: You got number two.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_02: It was when after like our middle school.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_02: I did my math room, but it was like middle school.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_02: It was like around middle school.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_01: It was around like middle school when 2005.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_01: Because that's when every like you can look at it now.
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_01: Look, look at everybody on the chart.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_02: When we're in middle school, I'm talking you are bugging.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_01: You just said 1890 anyway.
- 1:11:58SPEAKER_02: I was only saying that because I would just I did my math chapter.
- 1:12:00SPEAKER_02: But you could look at middle school.
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_01: I would still say the salvage running it now because you can look at all the people that are on top.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_01: Doug.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_01: The whole Atlanta is just amigos.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_02: Two chains.
- 1:12:12SPEAKER_02: Gucci man.
- 1:12:13SPEAKER_02: We already said that.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_02: We agree.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_02: No, I don't agree with you.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_02: You said 90s.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_02: I did math wrong, nigga.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_02: I want to know when it was.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_02: OJ.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_02: Oh, 2005.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_02: That's when OJ the Juiceman came out.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_02: Like, I know it was never hot.
- 1:12:27SPEAKER_02: What?
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_02: He had no hit records.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_01: Quota brick.
- 1:12:30SPEAKER_01: Half a brick.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_02: That nigga has no hit record.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_02: I feel like that's when Quarter Brick is a hit record.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_02: No, it's a hit.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_02: Ah.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_01: I feel like came from a low adopter.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_02: That's when Gucci.
- 1:12:46SPEAKER_02: But listen, that's what Gucci.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_02: That's when Gucci baby came five.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_02: Duffelbag Boy came out when?
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_02: Uh in 2003.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_02: Look, that's when all the big shirts.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_02: I think that's when it started.
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_02: No, that's when all the big shirts came out.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_02: They were snapping.
- 1:12:57SPEAKER_02: That when it started when 2000 came out.
- 1:13:00SPEAKER_02: They wasn't on top on the snapping.
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_02: He said Duffelbag came out in 2003.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_02: I feel like that's when they started making their move to take over.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_02: When did them franchise boy come out?
- 1:13:08SPEAKER_02: When did they officially take over?
- 1:13:10SPEAKER_02: I would have said 05.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_02: 2010.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_02: 2010 is when the South officially took over.
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_02: I would say about 2008.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_02: Because the South only had the number one rapper in rap maybe for uh two years.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_02: I would say I would say about 2008.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_02: I'll say about 2008.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_02: This is something I'm actually touching on.
- 1:13:26SPEAKER_02: I would say about 2008.
- 1:13:28SPEAKER_02: 2010, bro.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_02: 2010.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_02: Because the South, the South had the number one rapper in rap, and this is just my opinion, obviously.
- 1:13:36SPEAKER_02: Is Wing.
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_02: That is about 2008.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_02: They can't hear him, man.
- 1:13:43SPEAKER_02: He knows 2008 when we started no 2007.
- 1:13:49SPEAKER_02: No, I started I started 2008.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_02: Doesn't fucking matter.
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_02: So yeah, now you're not going to be able to do it.
- 1:13:53SPEAKER_02: The only person really running stuff in the North right now is Drake.
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_02: It's about 2007, 2006.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_02: Because that is when them franchise boy came out of the state.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_02: Who's the top three rappers right now?
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_02: None of these niggas from the South.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_02: Drake.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_02: I mean, you can count, you see, I can't count J.
- 1:14:05SPEAKER_02: Cole as a Southern artist.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_02: Because he said himself.
- 1:14:08SPEAKER_02: From North Carolina?
- 1:14:09SPEAKER_02: Alright, hold on.
- 1:14:10SPEAKER_02: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 1:14:11SPEAKER_02: You say you're saying uh top three rappers.
- 1:14:16SPEAKER_02: Whatever.
- 1:14:17SPEAKER_02: No, it's two different things.
- 1:14:18SPEAKER_02: Okay, so give me the top three artists in hip-hop, right?
- 1:14:20SPEAKER_02: Kanye?
- 1:14:21unknown: No.
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:14:23SPEAKER_02: As an artist?
- 1:14:23SPEAKER_02: He's not on top of the high.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_02: Top three artists right now.
- 1:14:26SPEAKER_02: Kanye's the greatest of all time.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_02: But he's not he's not putting out the water.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_02: Artistry wise.
- 1:14:30SPEAKER_02: He's talking about he's talking about he's talking about as like relevant wise.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_02: I would have to say Drake as much as I don't want to say him.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_02: Okay, and I'll put him on top of rap too.
- 1:14:38SPEAKER_02: So he's on top of both of those things.
- 1:14:41SPEAKER_02: Who was this?
- 1:14:42SPEAKER_02: Migo.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_02: No, I wouldn't put Migo the top of that.
- 1:14:45SPEAKER_02: Man, it's Kendrick.
- 1:14:46SPEAKER_02: I would go Kendrick.
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_02: That nigga did the soundtrack, the Black Panther, man.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_02: He did.
- 1:14:51SPEAKER_02: Drake Kendrick.
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_02: That's that you see that type of shit like that, just to interject real fast.
- 1:14:55SPEAKER_02: That's where Kanye is tight.
- 1:14:57SPEAKER_02: Because that those are the type of things I could see.
- 1:14:59SPEAKER_02: Like if he was still rapping the type of way he was rapping, he would have fit in perfectly right there.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_02: But he's a he's a he's lost.
- 1:15:06SPEAKER_02: He's all about materialism right now.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_02: Drake.
- 1:15:09SPEAKER_02: Kendrick.
- 1:15:10SPEAKER_02: Drake Kendrick.
- 1:15:10SPEAKER_02: Migo.
- 1:15:11SPEAKER_02: I would have put the Migo in the top three.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_02: They could be.
- 1:15:15SPEAKER_02: Sales, why?
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_02: Who's cooking?
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_02: Migo.
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_02: No, I just wouldn't put them in top three.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_02: I'm not putting Future top three.
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_02: Over over offset, you're bugging.
- 1:15:23SPEAKER_02: Future's better than offset.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_02: As an individual.
- 1:15:26SPEAKER_02: As an individual, I mean.
- 1:15:28SPEAKER_02: I just wouldn't put them in top three.
- 1:15:30SPEAKER_02: But the South really, they don't have the number one artist right now or number two.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_02: But they got like seven armies.
- 1:15:37SPEAKER_02: Seven through twenty five, though.
- 1:15:40SPEAKER_02: But I was, huh?
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_02: It's hard because I would just say that everybody wants to sound like them.
- 1:15:46SPEAKER_02: Drake, Kendrick, Hove.
- 1:15:47SPEAKER_02: Hove is still rapping.
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_02: Top Hove just came out the other day.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_02: Daisy's, you gotta put him on a different thing.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_02: He's not, he's not in this.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_02: We're talking about people that dropping constant that's in the city.
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_02: Then I'm playing Cole is three.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_02: But he's not dropping constantly.
- 1:16:01SPEAKER_02: What is a lot of J.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_02: Cole records?
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_02: You not get what I'm saying?
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_02: He's not dropping constantly.
- 1:16:05SPEAKER_02: He's on constant right now.
- 1:16:06SPEAKER_02: He's on tour right now.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_02: So what's Big Sean is on tour too?
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_02: Big Sean dropped the record.
- 1:16:11SPEAKER_02: Come on.
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_02: Like Big Sean is on tour.
- 1:16:16SPEAKER_02: I just think that hip hop is running rap right now.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_02: I mean hip hop is running rap, but I think um the South is running hip hop right now.
- 1:16:24SPEAKER_02: But is that that's weird.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_02: That's everything they're doing.
- 1:16:27SPEAKER_02: They run in hip-hop, but they don't have a top three.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_02: But do they need it though?
- 1:16:32SPEAKER_02: Migos, bro.
- 1:16:33SPEAKER_02: I think just the influence of them.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they know everybody's sound southern now, though.
- 1:16:39SPEAKER_02: Little baby, young dog.
- 1:16:41SPEAKER_02: They got numbers seven through twenty-five.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_02: They don't need the top.
- 1:16:44SPEAKER_02: But I wanna I wanna I wonder what makes everybody want to sound southern now.
- 1:16:47SPEAKER_02: Because it's uh, that's what pops people come from up here to go down there to pop.
- 1:16:51SPEAKER_02: And they can ask it there.
- 1:16:52SPEAKER_02: Because the school I'm going to the one in Atlanta is like I think top three of their biggest sound schools.
- 1:17:01SPEAKER_02: You know the craziest thing?
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_02: In in the United States.
- 1:17:03SPEAKER_02: There's no correlation with that.
- 1:17:06SPEAKER_02: Atlanta.
- 1:17:07SPEAKER_02: That's why I'm wondering what's going on in Atlanta that's a good thing.
- 1:17:09SPEAKER_02: Young 21 Savage, like everybody from Atlanta, bro.
- 1:17:14SPEAKER_02: South.
- 1:17:16SPEAKER_02: But I'm just saying in the whole South.
- 1:17:20SPEAKER_02: In in the South, why is it just Atlanta?
- 1:17:22SPEAKER_02: Waka Flocka?
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_02: No, it's not just Atlanta, though.
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_02: Because there's uh they got Texas rappers too.
- 1:17:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but they got Texas rappers, but I'm saying compared to Atlanta, bro.
- 1:17:34SPEAKER_02: It's like that's where everybody is going.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because that's where the culture is right now.
- 1:17:39SPEAKER_02: I just want to see how long this is gonna last.
- 1:17:43SPEAKER_02: Just a lot of southern niggas, man.
- 1:17:45SPEAKER_02: How long you give it?
- 1:17:46SPEAKER_02: Everybody's going on for too long.
- 1:17:48SPEAKER_02: Even Kodak.
- 1:17:49SPEAKER_01: Kodak's from Florida.

- 1:19:32SPEAKER_02: He's like, that's the same way he said, no, that's that's Playboy Vert.
- 1:19:35SPEAKER_02: I'm um Lil Cardi.

- 1:19:51SPEAKER_02: He's like, I ain't gonna lie, I was saying it.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_02: And then I just thought let me say yeah after every two lines.
- 1:19:57SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna say music isn't the best.
- 1:19:58SPEAKER_02: I mean, Don Q says, yeah, yeah.

- 1:20:05SPEAKER_02: Like it's not.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_02: It's not even a different pitch of voice.
- 1:20:09SPEAKER_02: It's how you say it.
- 1:20:10SPEAKER_02: What do you mean?
- 1:20:10SPEAKER_02: It's not a how you say it.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_02: It's like, it's like what a lot of people say, it's not what you say, it's how.

- 1:20:33SPEAKER_01: Because drill music is not a sound, it's a content.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_01: About shooting?
- 1:20:36SPEAKER_02: Because the person that made drill music is uh actually King Louie, and he's I listened to an interview about that.
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_02: And he doesn't rap like how Chief Geek raps.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_02: He raps just about the same things.
- 1:20:43SPEAKER_02: Drill music is about the content of the music.
- 1:20:46SPEAKER_02: Both of y'all raps is wrong.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_02: I put drilling.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_02: I put drill music.

- 1:21:10SPEAKER_02: I look at Dirk sound like future.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_02: Let me ask you a question, though.
- 1:21:13SPEAKER_02: Basically, the content for drill music.
- 1:21:14SPEAKER_02: He said that too.
- 1:21:15SPEAKER_01: Yes, it's about killing up.
- 1:21:16SPEAKER_01: Stops.
- 1:21:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, so T Grizzly makes drill music?

- 1:21:38SPEAKER_02: He does not make drill music.
- 1:21:39SPEAKER_02: But he wanted to do that.
- 1:21:40SPEAKER_02: But his songs when he first came out was rapping about.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_02: I don't listen to his music, but every hit record he got sound like a Drake song.
- 1:21:47SPEAKER_02: He was making songs about, you know, shoeing.
- 1:21:49SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 1:21:50SPEAKER_02: I'm just asking.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_02: He's not about that life.
- 1:21:52SPEAKER_02: I don't think none of them.
- 1:21:53SPEAKER_02: I think a lot of them are about that.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_02: You can't say that because you don't know what it is.
- 1:21:55SPEAKER_02: I definitely can't say that.
- 1:21:56SPEAKER_02: And you can tell him I said that too.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_02: I will delay the message.

- 1:22:58SPEAKER_01: I don't even remember that.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_01: I'm surprised.
- 1:23:01SPEAKER_01: I didn't even remember that.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_01: Okay.

- 1:23:26SPEAKER_02: He cut it off.
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_02: I respect it.
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_02: I don't know why he that has like to me, he looked like uh a bearded Neo.
- 1:23:31SPEAKER_02: That's a confident man right there.
- 1:23:33SPEAKER_02: Tory Lane's actually a really cool person.
- 1:23:35SPEAKER_02: Niggas is pussy.

- 1:23:42SPEAKER_02: Because he has more hair than he did before.
- 1:23:45SPEAKER_02: What he does is he just takes the hair from the places that grow and put them in the places that don't grow.
- 1:23:51SPEAKER_02: So it's plugs?
- 1:23:52SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:23:52SPEAKER_01: It's like re-grafting, I think it's called.
- 1:23:54SPEAKER_02: So it's how do they get it to stick?
- 1:23:57SPEAKER_02: I guess it's minor surgery, you can call it.
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_02: I don't know, because I was looking at the shit.
- 1:24:01SPEAKER_02: He just didn't shave that shit.
- 1:24:02SPEAKER_02: I was just like, yo, this nigga got way more hair than he did before.
- 1:24:08SPEAKER_02: They do the fake editing, they touch it up to make it look like he got a full head of hair.
- 1:24:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, he wants that full head of hairs.
- 1:24:15SPEAKER_02: So the confidence thing.
- 1:24:16SPEAKER_02: That shit is corny.
- 1:24:16SPEAKER_02: If you need hair to be confident, you're a bitch.
- 1:24:18SPEAKER_02: That's that's pretty much how I feel about that.
- 1:24:20SPEAKER_01: So double in tundra.
- 1:24:23SPEAKER_02: Um, I can keep going, man.
- 1:24:24SPEAKER_02: So Dane Dash did a podcast, right?
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_02: Um y'all seen that black nigga from uh does anybody any of y'all watch TMZ?
- 1:24:32SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:24:33SPEAKER_02: The fat nigga sometimes.
- 1:24:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's that guy.
- 1:24:36SPEAKER_02: What his name is Van?
- 1:24:37SPEAKER_02: The black guy with the dreads?
- 1:24:38SPEAKER_02: Nah, he's a tall black guy.
- 1:24:40SPEAKER_02: He used to be really fat, but he's kind of skinny then.
- 1:24:42unknown: Okay.
- 1:24:42SPEAKER_02: He did a uh a podcast episode, he had Dane Dash on there, and he got Dane Dash to speak about a fight club that he used to do with like Q Tip, Jay-Z, a lot of other rappers.
- 1:24:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like they were like a boxing club.
- 1:24:53SPEAKER_02: Because uh Dane Dash was a boxer, apparently.
- 1:24:55SPEAKER_02: But that's all about it.
- 1:24:56SPEAKER_02: Didn't they didn't I thought, damn, it was when I think, what was the first Def Jam, Vendetta?
- 1:25:02SPEAKER_02: Somebody was saying that the game was based off of some shit that had happened.
- 1:25:05SPEAKER_02: I don't remember.
- 1:25:06SPEAKER_02: You would have to tell me.
- 1:25:07SPEAKER_02: I never even purchased one of those games.
- 1:25:09SPEAKER_02: You never had Def Jam.
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_02: Nope.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_02: Those were the funniest games.
- 1:25:14SPEAKER_02: It was like the to me, it was at that time it was the best fighting game.
- 1:25:17SPEAKER_02: It was like everybody that every celebrity that was basically known, and it was like a fight club.
- 1:25:24SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_02: No, they had a nigga that looked like him.
- 1:25:26SPEAKER_02: He was called Convict.
- 1:25:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he wasn't Jay-Z though.
- 1:25:28SPEAKER_02: But nah, he he looked everything like Jay-Z.
- 1:25:31SPEAKER_02: How Jay Z was.
- 1:25:33SPEAKER_02: But that's that's like a lot of them.
- 1:25:34SPEAKER_02: They had um, they had Ludicard.
- 1:25:37SPEAKER_02: They had 50 in one of them, looked just like 50, but his name was something else.
- 1:25:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so what's cool about that?
- 1:25:42SPEAKER_02: No, I'm just saying, like, you you just knew who they were.
- 1:25:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's why.
- 1:25:46SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:25:47SPEAKER_02: But it what made the game is because it was like it was like a uh uh like it wasn't like boxing or nothing.
- 1:25:52SPEAKER_02: It was like uh It was dead, they had combos, they was like wrestling loot.
- 1:25:57SPEAKER_02: Like fight club.
- 1:25:58SPEAKER_02: So it was wrestling.
- 1:25:59SPEAKER_02: It wasn't wrestling, because it was like fight club where like it'll be underground locations and like Okay, but what what was the fighting mechanics like?
- 1:26:06SPEAKER_02: I would say more like UFC.
- 1:26:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right?
- 1:26:09SPEAKER_02: No, like a Tekken.
- 1:26:10SPEAKER_02: So so do you pin people to win, or how do you pick it up?
- 1:26:12SPEAKER_02: No, no, you knock them out.
- 1:26:13SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:26:14SPEAKER_02: But then you deal with specials depending on like who the person was.
- 1:26:18SPEAKER_02: You crack them with a bottle of the bigger.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_02: Red man, Red Man was fired.
- 1:26:22SPEAKER_02: To me, it was exactly what you're talking about.
- 1:26:25SPEAKER_02: It was exactly what you're talking about now, how they had a fight.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_02: It was just exactly all the locations on the ground.
- 1:26:31SPEAKER_02: And I remember back in the day, somebody had told me that it was based off like something that was real, but I just never that person lied to you.
- 1:26:38SPEAKER_02: But these these niggas is doing it at fucking Chelsea Pierce.
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_02: It wasn't like they was going to some basement to do the shit, and it was just boxing, it wasn't no fucking UFC shit.
- 1:26:45SPEAKER_02: Okay, so Mandingo fights?
- 1:26:47SPEAKER_02: No, they were just regular boxing uh fights, and yeah, this this guy's wild today.
- 1:26:51SPEAKER_02: Um, but um Red Man was fire, and if they would do a Mandingo fight.
- 1:26:56SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:26:57SPEAKER_01: That's what they used to call Africans fighting before.
- 1:26:59SPEAKER_01: Yes, in the past.
- 1:27:00SPEAKER_01: They used to pick two big black niggas off the ship and he used to make them fight.
- 1:27:03SPEAKER_01: It was called a mandingo fight.
- 1:27:05SPEAKER_01: I have seen Django before.
- 1:27:07SPEAKER_02: Anyway, so basically, Dane Dash called up the boxing instructor and he did a swaggy move, too.
- 1:27:12SPEAKER_02: He removed himself from the selection of fighters.
- 1:27:14SPEAKER_02: He's just like, yeah, excluding myself, who's the best and who's the worst?
- 1:27:17SPEAKER_02: And the the boxing coach said, Oh, the best is probably Q-tip.
- 1:27:22SPEAKER_02: And that kind of surprised me because you know Q-tip is yeah, Q-tip.
- 1:27:25SPEAKER_02: But he he probably like some quick Q Tip is big.
- 1:27:30SPEAKER_02: He's probably like quick, you feel me?
- 1:27:32SPEAKER_02: Like he probably like had hints.
- 1:27:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it surprised me.
- 1:27:34SPEAKER_02: Q Tip surprised me.
- 1:27:35SPEAKER_02: And he said the worst was Jay-Z.
- 1:27:38SPEAKER_02: Jay-Z used to fight?
- 1:27:39SPEAKER_02: He said, Yeah, he's part of the fight club.
- 1:27:40SPEAKER_02: He was just like, yo, Jay-Z like was like he was like Pee Wee Herman.
- 1:27:43SPEAKER_02: Like he couldn't be the girl.
- 1:27:45SPEAKER_02: And then he said I can see that.
- 1:27:46SPEAKER_02: He said after the training, though, then he he he got busy.
- 1:27:49SPEAKER_02: But before the training, and then he said that that was one of Dane Dash's motivation for getting these guys in there because back in the day, like you see how Takashi could run around and say all the shit and never have to throw a punch?
- 1:27:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_02: You know, they have their back then it was different.
- 1:28:02SPEAKER_02: It was different.
- 1:28:02SPEAKER_02: Like niggas was really getting walked up on.
- 1:28:04SPEAKER_02: Like the whole famous Dex thing.
- 1:28:05SPEAKER_02: Like, you think if Famous Dex knew how to throw a punch, like he would have got his chain snatched?
- 1:28:08SPEAKER_02: I don't think so.
- 1:28:09SPEAKER_02: But that's that's just like how um Jay-Z what?
- 1:28:12SPEAKER_02: That's like how um What's the other artist?
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_02: Damn.
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_02: It was an artist not too long ago that got his chain snatched.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_02: Damn.
- 1:28:22SPEAKER_02: I forgot it, but before that, that's when 50 snatched what you call his chain and went bowling with it.
- 1:28:26SPEAKER_02: Oh, Gunplay?
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:28:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but Gunplay got jumped though.
- 1:28:30SPEAKER_02: He like he fought back.
- 1:28:32SPEAKER_02: It wasn't like these niggas like pitched him.
- 1:28:35SPEAKER_02: I see.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_02: But I just found it interesting that uh Dane Dash is still.
- 1:28:41SPEAKER_02: Was he fighting in it though?
- 1:28:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he took himself out.
- 1:28:44SPEAKER_02: I guess he was saying he was the best one because he said he's been boxing since a little kid.
- 1:28:47SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 1:28:48SPEAKER_02: But he's still taking shots at Jay, but I fuck with Dane Dash because um that Breakfast Club interview that he did was very iconic, and there was a lot of gems in there.
- 1:28:59SPEAKER_02: There was a lot of gems in there.
- 1:29:02SPEAKER_02: But um, he just comes off as a very bitter human being.
- 1:29:05SPEAKER_02: And I think that's what's the problem with his message.
- 1:29:07SPEAKER_02: And he even in that podcast, he was talking about how he's there's a lot of shit that he does that we don't even know about.
- 1:29:12SPEAKER_02: Like he does uh movies and shit like that.
- 1:29:14SPEAKER_02: And this was my thinking.
- 1:29:15SPEAKER_02: If somebody like Dame Dash would have made the Black Panther movie, and that money actually would have gone to a black business at the end of the day, all the money that Black Panther raised, that money's going back to Disney.
- 1:29:26SPEAKER_02: And that's a white corporation.
- 1:29:28SPEAKER_02: It is so Chad McBoseman, who was the lead actor in that movie, only got$800,000.
- 1:29:32SPEAKER_02: And you know what the thing about And the thing is, I was actually I actually took I was taking the Uber and I guess this girl had just just came from it.
- 1:29:40SPEAKER_02: She had like the African hair tie and everything like that.
- 1:29:42SPEAKER_02: I I still don't agree with dressing up.
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but you wore a dashiki to take an Instagram picture.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_02: That's cool.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_02: That's cool.
- 1:29:47SPEAKER_02: Anyways, that's okay.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_02: I was I was that's how I was dressing today.
- 1:29:50SPEAKER_02: But anyway, she was she was but you felt listen listening, you felt it had to be.
- 1:29:55SPEAKER_02: I don't want to hear this nigga criticize anybody for saying anything about it.
- 1:29:59SPEAKER_02: The only thing I I would go and criticize people about is the fact that they're going back to our natural roots and walking there with full plates of food in their bags.
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_01: That was a fucking Marvel movie.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_02: It wasn't a documentary.
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying.
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_01: Anyway, continuing.
- 1:30:13SPEAKER_01: I like so she got into an argument with the Black Um with not the Black Panther.
- 1:30:18SPEAKER_01: She got into an argument with the cab driver.
- 1:30:21SPEAKER_01: She was like, Oh, have you seen Black Panther yet?
- 1:30:23SPEAKER_01: And he was like, Oh no.
- 1:30:24SPEAKER_02: He's he's another Eastern guy.
- 1:30:25SPEAKER_02: He's just like, I don't like to go to the first movie.
- 1:30:28SPEAKER_02: Wait, you got into a cab with somebody?
- 1:30:31SPEAKER_02: Oh, I didn't know Uber pool was a thing, and so I lost my car too.
- 1:30:35SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no.
- 1:30:35SPEAKER_02: I know Uber Pool's a thing, but I was just saying that the way the way this guy talks about, you know, ah, I'm this, I've got this, taking Uber pool with his cheaper.
- 1:30:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay, so you're trying to expose it.
- 1:30:46SPEAKER_02: You want me to take expensive Ubers?
- 1:30:48SPEAKER_02: I never said I wasn't cost effective.
- 1:30:49SPEAKER_02: Uber X.
- 1:30:50SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm just real niggas take Uber X.
- 1:30:54SPEAKER_02: I took that shit once in my life for granted.
- 1:30:56SPEAKER_01: Anyway, continuing.
- 1:30:59SPEAKER_01: So she got into it with the cab drive.
- 1:31:01SPEAKER_01: It's like, he's like, oh, I really don't like to go to movies the first week because it's always packed.
- 1:31:05SPEAKER_01: And like I know, like, I've heard all the I heard it's a really good movie, and I really want to see it and take my kids.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_01: And she really like started tearing into this guy.
- 1:31:13SPEAKER_01: She was just like, oh, but we don't get our numbers and all the profit margin like doesn't go.
- 1:31:20SPEAKER_01: Like, you have to see it the first weekend it comes out, or it doesn't matter.
- 1:31:24SPEAKER_01: Like, we're we're going to see, we're going to see this as I've seen it three times myself.
- 1:31:29SPEAKER_02: I went once, then I went with my friends, then I took my took my nieces and nephews.
- 1:31:33SPEAKER_02: I would watch this shit again.
- 1:31:34SPEAKER_01: Like, I'll pay to watch this shit again.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_01: It's all good that we're going to be out.
- 1:31:36SPEAKER_01: But that's not I watch you want to go.
- 1:31:38SPEAKER_01: But she was saying the reason she did it is so the movie can't make money the first meeting.
- 1:31:42SPEAKER_01: She's like, We have like we have to make a statement as black people.
- 1:31:45SPEAKER_01: She's just ignorant.
- 1:31:46SPEAKER_01: We have to make a statement as black people so they can hear our voice.
- 1:31:49SPEAKER_02: I'm just like the whole and she's chiming into me.
- 1:31:52SPEAKER_02: Did you tell her that you like her voice?
- 1:31:53SPEAKER_02: Like, what what was your chime in?
- 1:31:55SPEAKER_02: I I was I was I was I was bumping music.
- 1:31:58SPEAKER_02: I was just like, I was like worried, you're right.
- 1:32:00SPEAKER_02: But like anyway.
- 1:32:00SPEAKER_02: Oh, you didn't even educate her, yeah.
- 1:32:02SPEAKER_02: You were part of the problem.
- 1:32:03SPEAKER_02: Part of the fucking problem.
- 1:32:04SPEAKER_02: Me, I'd have been like, bitch, you're stupid.
- 1:32:06SPEAKER_02: No, but she's technically uh not wrong.
- 1:32:09SPEAKER_02: But she's not wrong, but she's like, isn't right.
- 1:32:12SPEAKER_02: She's just like, oh, it don't count after the first weekend.
- 1:32:14SPEAKER_02: It doesn't count as much.
- 1:32:15SPEAKER_02: We like we wanted the first weekend, like, because you see those commercials.
- 1:32:18SPEAKER_02: First weekend over Billy's, whatever.
- 1:32:20SPEAKER_02: That's what's really amazing, because it gets that sponsorship that that that that it did this X amount of numbers, so people are gonna look at it.
- 1:32:27SPEAKER_02: She was just like, oh, we we as a black people have to unite and everything like that.
- 1:32:30SPEAKER_02: It's not even the number one Marvel movie, like in terms of viewership yet.
- 1:32:34SPEAKER_02: What what what is the number one?
- 1:32:35SPEAKER_02: Iron Man?
- 1:32:35SPEAKER_02: Iron Man 3.
- 1:32:37SPEAKER_02: One of the Avengers, I think, has the most views.
- 1:32:39SPEAKER_02: It's 20th of all time, though, right now.
- 1:32:42SPEAKER_02: 20th of all time.
- 1:32:43SPEAKER_02: Damn, how many?
- 1:32:44SPEAKER_02: The number one movie is uh Casablanca.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_02: Nah, it's um Hey, how many fucking Marvel movies they got?
- 1:32:50SPEAKER_02: It's uh it's uh this nigga fucking TC said it's another week.
- 1:32:54SPEAKER_02: What the hook?
- 1:32:55SPEAKER_02: Fuck no, no, it's not a Marvel movie.
- 1:32:57SPEAKER_02: The number one movie without inflation is um Oh my god, what's the name of the fucking movie with the blue people?
- 1:33:03SPEAKER_02: Avatar?
- 1:33:04SPEAKER_02: Avatar.
- 1:33:05SPEAKER_02: That's the number one movie.
- 1:33:06SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 1:33:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you were Raven Robin.
- 1:33:08SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no.
- 1:33:09SPEAKER_02: That that that movie was good, but I never I never understood, like, okay, like when when they first advertised the movie for Avatar, I thought it was gonna be like the TV show Avatar.
- 1:33:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, a lot of people thought that.
- 1:33:20SPEAKER_02: Just like a lot of people thought this this Black Panther movie was gonna be about the actual Black Panthers, which I want to speak about as well.
- 1:33:25SPEAKER_02: Like that, but then when I saw that I'm just like, whoa, like, what is this?
- 1:33:28SPEAKER_02: Like, but then I actually sat down, I was like, oh, it's a good movie.
- 1:33:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was that was a really good movie.
- 1:33:33SPEAKER_02: But I I'm surprised that's the f that's top one.
- 1:33:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's number one.
- 1:33:36SPEAKER_02: It was a really good movie.
- 1:33:37SPEAKER_02: It grossed the most money of all time.
- 1:33:39SPEAKER_02: I think Titanic is third or second.
- 1:33:42SPEAKER_02: Damn.
- 1:33:43SPEAKER_02: If you count um inflation though, I think number one is Titanic.
- 1:33:48SPEAKER_02: When you say inflation, like movie ticket back then was not how much it costs right now.
- 1:33:54SPEAKER_02: So if you count inflation prices, uh that movie's not number one.
- 1:33:58SPEAKER_02: I see what you're saying.
- 1:34:01SPEAKER_02: But yeah, so she was just ripping into him and stuff like that.
- 1:34:03SPEAKER_02: I'd like to like pitch, shut the fuck up.
- 1:34:05SPEAKER_02: I just never done that.
- 1:34:07SPEAKER_02: So I like I don't like it.
- 1:34:08SPEAKER_02: I feel I just feel like we turned this into a really black movement instead of just a Marvel movie.
- 1:34:14SPEAKER_01: Well, I said that you should watch it two ways as a black person as and as a um, but I doubt she started making she started making points as like like now my nieces and nephew can dress up as black people, like because they have I appreciate that, yeah.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_01: They have a black superhero.
- 1:34:32SPEAKER_02: Why couldn't you like why couldn't you do it before?
- 1:34:36SPEAKER_02: Because there was no Black Panther costume before, Dick.
- 1:34:40SPEAKER_02: It was.
- 1:34:40SPEAKER_02: I mean not the new updated one, but there was.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_02: No, there wasn't.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_02: But okay, this is my thing.
- 1:34:45SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:34:45SPEAKER_02: Let me ask you a question.
- 1:34:46SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 1:34:47SPEAKER_02: When you have your child, yeah, and it's hollering when they want to dress up, are you are you gonna only like No, they could be whoever they want.
- 1:34:55SPEAKER_02: No, no, are you only going to limit them to what's in stores?
- 1:35:00SPEAKER_02: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 1:35:01SPEAKER_02: Like, okay, let's say So you was gonna make a Black Panther costume.
- 1:35:04SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, I'm just saying, why can't you do shit like that?
- 1:35:07SPEAKER_02: Are you dumb?
- 1:35:07SPEAKER_02: Why can't you do that?
- 1:35:08SPEAKER_02: You make me wonder about that.
- 1:35:09SPEAKER_02: Why can't you do that?
- 1:35:10SPEAKER_02: Make me worry about that.
- 1:35:10SPEAKER_02: No one was thinking about that.
- 1:35:11SPEAKER_02: I want you to make it.
- 1:35:12SPEAKER_02: If my child came up to me and said, Yeah, I want to be Black Panther from the fucking comic from uh that I found in your basement.
- 1:35:17SPEAKER_02: Make me that costume.
- 1:35:18SPEAKER_02: What the fuck you gonna do?
- 1:35:19SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna go to a tailor shop and hat and give them the blueprint, but I need that.
- 1:35:22SPEAKER_02: What blueprint?
- 1:35:24SPEAKER_02: I want to do that.
- 1:35:26SPEAKER_02: Look at you like, yo, get the fuck out of my store with this.
- 1:35:29SPEAKER_02: Like, if they want the money, they're gonna make it.
- 1:35:31SPEAKER_02: No, they're gonna look at you like, get the fuck out of my store.
- 1:35:34SPEAKER_02: How are you gonna make that?
- 1:35:35SPEAKER_02: If I yo, how is he?
- 1:35:37SPEAKER_02: What blueprint do you have?
- 1:35:39SPEAKER_02: If he said, okay, let's say he finds a comic in my basement that I want to be this guy for Halloween.
- 1:35:44SPEAKER_02: What I'm gonna do is my son wants to be this for Halloween and you do something like this for me.
- 1:35:49SPEAKER_02: Why can't you?
- 1:35:51SPEAKER_02: Why can't you do that with a picture?
- 1:35:52SPEAKER_02: Why can't I bring a picture with a picture?
- 1:35:54SPEAKER_02: Look at you like that.
- 1:35:55SPEAKER_02: What the fuck is this?
- 1:35:56SPEAKER_02: That's what I want my store.
- 1:35:58SPEAKER_02: I'll pay you X amount of dollars for it.
- 1:36:00SPEAKER_02: You're not a monster.
- 1:36:01SPEAKER_02: They're not gonna tell me that.
- 1:36:02SPEAKER_02: They're gonna buy the new.
- 1:36:03SPEAKER_02: What are you talking about?
- 1:36:05SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna bring the picture of what it looks like.
- 1:36:07SPEAKER_02: You a dumbass, I'm not being a dumbass.
- 1:36:09SPEAKER_02: You could do that now.
- 1:36:10SPEAKER_02: I could bring I could bring a picture of what it got shaky.
- 1:36:12SPEAKER_02: Look at a bit.
- 1:36:13SPEAKER_02: I want that, and they'll make it.
- 1:36:14SPEAKER_02: That's different.
- 1:36:14SPEAKER_02: That's something they can actually create.
- 1:36:16SPEAKER_02: That's what's gonna be.
- 1:36:16SPEAKER_02: Why can't they create a fabric that looks like that?
- 1:36:19SPEAKER_02: What the Black Panther costume look like?
- 1:36:21SPEAKER_02: He's all black, and I see what his face look like.
- 1:36:24SPEAKER_02: So how they gonna make the You can make one of those little um, the shit that they be selling, the little mask, the little stop mask and fucking put the design on.
- 1:36:32SPEAKER_02: You dumb.
- 1:36:32SPEAKER_02: No, I'm not.
- 1:36:33SPEAKER_02: You can do that.
- 1:36:34SPEAKER_02: You know what you do not check in and when all the kids is fucking your kid up, my kid's gonna be pointing out you.
- 1:36:38SPEAKER_02: Like, yo, you a stupid dad.
- 1:36:41SPEAKER_02: Because I'm gonna let two shots off and be like, move.
- 1:36:43SPEAKER_02: Then you go to jail and you're sung over the corner doing what he gotta do.
- 1:36:46SPEAKER_02: And you're gonna continue to cycle over a fucking costume.
- 1:36:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you stupid.
- 1:36:51SPEAKER_02: Fucking a dumb.
- 1:36:52SPEAKER_02: You can't make costume.
- 1:36:53SPEAKER_02: No, you can't.
- 1:36:54SPEAKER_02: I done seen people make fucking SpongeBob out of cardboard, my nigga.
- 1:36:59SPEAKER_02: That's nothing.
- 1:36:59SPEAKER_02: That's$200.
- 1:37:01SPEAKER_02: Look at this.
- 1:37:02SPEAKER_02: What the fuck are you niggas looking at?
- 1:37:03SPEAKER_02: The fucking black pastoral.
- 1:37:05SPEAKER_02: That shit detailed as hell.
- 1:37:06SPEAKER_02: Okay, let me see.
- 1:37:07SPEAKER_02: Nah.
- 1:37:08SPEAKER_02: Don't yo.
- 1:37:08SPEAKER_02: Please, I don't even want this.
- 1:37:10SPEAKER_02: This this mask loan is$200.
- 1:37:11SPEAKER_02: How are you going to do that?
- 1:37:12SPEAKER_02: I'm saying you can make a hat.
- 1:37:14SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm doing with a hat.
- 1:37:16SPEAKER_02: I want you to bring me one.
- 1:37:17SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna pay for it.
- 1:37:18SPEAKER_02: So then why are you even bringing this?
- 1:37:19SPEAKER_02: Because I'm saying, if I was in that predicament where my child wanted it, I would go to extremes of having a tailor to make something.
- 1:37:25SPEAKER_02: You get a parent.
- 1:37:26SPEAKER_02: Somebody that you know is a parent, and if they can spew the same rhetoric that you're giving me right now, then I'll believe you.
- 1:37:30SPEAKER_02: But what you're saying is just not realistic, bro.
- 1:37:32SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:37:33SPEAKER_02: It's not.
- 1:37:34SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:37:34SPEAKER_02: Because you don't have a kid, you don't know what you don't have the finances, like you don't understand how that should be.
- 1:37:38SPEAKER_02: If I had what it did, yeah, you're saying that from your perspective right now, but I guarantee you, if this were to really happen in real life, you were gonna sit at your kid and be like, yo, we don't get it.
- 1:37:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, it happened in Comic Con in 2015.
- 1:37:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, of course, but those are people that you know how much these costumes cost?
- 1:37:51SPEAKER_02: So, but it's impossible.
- 1:37:53SPEAKER_02: You're not gonna spend thousands of dollars in a kid costume because that don't make no sense.
- 1:37:57SPEAKER_02: If he wants to be the Black Panther and I got a thousand dollars that I can make a costume.
- 1:38:01SPEAKER_01: This is dead ass like 2013 cosmic.
- 1:38:03SPEAKER_01: That's detailed.
- 1:38:04SPEAKER_02: That's detailed thousands of dollars doesn't matter still possible.
- 1:38:09SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, it's still possible headache.
- 1:38:10SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 1:38:11SPEAKER_02: You're right.
- 1:38:11SPEAKER_02: Because there's there's no other way to go about it.
- 1:38:13SPEAKER_02: I see what AG's saying.
- 1:38:15SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be a thousand dollars, but you're you're making it seem like it's not possible.
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_02: I never said it wasn't possible.
- 1:38:19SPEAKER_02: I just said that the average parent is not doing that.
- 1:38:22SPEAKER_02: None of these are Halloween costumes.
- 1:38:23SPEAKER_02: They might, but I'm just saying if he made that just for Comic Con, he could make it.
- 1:38:26SPEAKER_02: Because he spent thousands of dollars doing that.
- 1:38:28SPEAKER_02: Okay, he's the only one being posed at this point.
- 1:38:31SPEAKER_02: Like it's not a whole bunch of them, it's just like this is a good idea.
- 1:38:35SPEAKER_02: It's possible to do what it's possible to do.
- 1:38:37SPEAKER_02: So for her making that statement of saying now they can't, it's not.
- 1:38:41SPEAKER_02: Now it's just gonna be cheaper.
- 1:38:43SPEAKER_02: That's it.
- 1:38:43SPEAKER_02: But it's still possible to do before.
- 1:38:45SPEAKER_02: Is it possible for you to have a Bugatti?
- 1:38:47SPEAKER_02: It is possible.
- 1:38:48SPEAKER_02: Why don't you have one?
- 1:38:49SPEAKER_02: Because I can't afford it, but it is possible to get one.
- 1:38:51SPEAKER_02: Is it not possible to get one?
- 1:38:52SPEAKER_02: Forget it.
- 1:38:52SPEAKER_02: Is it not possible to get one?
- 1:38:53SPEAKER_02: Forget it, bro.
- 1:38:54SPEAKER_02: Is it not possible?
- 1:38:55SPEAKER_02: That's not the argument that I'm having with it.
- 1:38:56SPEAKER_02: It's still possible to get it.
- 1:38:58SPEAKER_02: I just can't afford it.
- 1:38:58SPEAKER_02: It's not me.
- 1:39:02SPEAKER_02: So it's cool for me, it's cool with me.
- 1:39:04SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:39:04SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm I'm okay with being the intelligent one in the room.
- 1:39:07SPEAKER_02: You're okay with being the ignorant one, and that's fine.
- 1:39:09SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:39:11SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty sure the castle store I had before ha has what you call it.
- 1:39:16SPEAKER_01: So what I want to talk about.
- 1:39:18SPEAKER_01: So a woman was charged with murder of her child.
- 1:39:24SPEAKER_02: The car was struck by a police vehicle going 94 miles per hour.
- 1:39:28SPEAKER_02: And the reason she was went to um what was trying to get convicted of murder is because the child wasn't properly strapped in.
- 1:39:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:39:36SPEAKER_02: You agree with that?
- 1:39:37SPEAKER_02: What the child was strapped in, but it wasn't adjusted tight enough.
- 1:39:41SPEAKER_02: Let me let me let me let me just let you know this.
- 1:39:43SPEAKER_02: You know, if you have a minor in the car, and let's say he has a speed belt, you run a red light.
- 1:39:49SPEAKER_02: They, if they want to be an asshole, you could get hit with lots of fines and lots of charges.
- 1:39:55SPEAKER_02: But I'm just saying, something so simple.
- 1:39:57SPEAKER_02: Should a cop be going 94 miles?
- 1:39:58SPEAKER_02: It was an off-duty cop, by the way.
- 1:40:00SPEAKER_02: He was going 94 mile miles per hour.
- 1:40:02SPEAKER_02: Was his lights on?
- 1:40:03SPEAKER_02: And locals it was it was an off-duty cop in a regular car.
- 1:40:07SPEAKER_02: The car was stationary.
- 1:40:08SPEAKER_02: Listen.
- 1:40:09SPEAKER_02: If their lights are the car wasn't moving.
- 1:40:11SPEAKER_02: If they're gonna say that the lights, if they say the lights was on.
- 1:40:14SPEAKER_01: It was a regular car.
- 1:40:15SPEAKER_01: He's just an off-duty car.
- 1:40:17SPEAKER_02: But I'm saying, man, if he's in an undercover car, it's his regular car.
- 1:40:22SPEAKER_02: Do they not put lights on their regular fucking car?
- 1:40:24SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:40:24SPEAKER_02: Yes, they do.
- 1:40:25SPEAKER_02: Yes, they do.

- 1:40:27SPEAKER_02: Yes, they do.
- 1:40:28SPEAKER_02: Go look it up.
- 1:40:29SPEAKER_02: I'm not talking to this guy.
- 1:40:30SPEAKER_02: He's not wrong about that because my dad used to do that, but that's not the point.
- 1:40:32SPEAKER_02: I'm not talking to this guy no more.
- 1:40:34SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you, they do that.
- 1:40:35SPEAKER_02: You're not supposed to do that.
- 1:40:37SPEAKER_02: When you're a cop, when you park at like a place, you know, you know why cops, you know, they have a different parking lot for their actual car.
- 1:40:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:40:45SPEAKER_02: That car doesn't have lights on it.
- 1:40:46SPEAKER_02: But I'm saying they can put lights on it.
- 1:40:50SPEAKER_02: If they're off duty.
- 1:40:52SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 1:40:52SPEAKER_02: The word off-duty doesn't mean nothing to you.
- 1:40:54SPEAKER_02: Do you wear your UPS shit every day?
- 1:40:58SPEAKER_02: No, I'm talking about your uniform.
- 1:41:00SPEAKER_02: That's not part of your uniform.
- 1:41:01SPEAKER_02: What do you think it is?
- 1:41:02SPEAKER_02: I can get that hat.
- 1:41:03SPEAKER_02: That's not part of your uniform.
- 1:41:04SPEAKER_02: I can't get your uniform.
- 1:41:05SPEAKER_02: What do you think my uniform is?

- 1:41:37SPEAKER_02: If he had lights on his car and any lights was on, they're going to have an intelligent conversation.
- 1:41:41SPEAKER_02: They're going to say that he was in the right.
- 1:41:43SPEAKER_02: Because I done seen situations where people got hit by cars by cop cars, and they'll say that they're in the right.
