- 0:06Speaker 1: This episode one done. My god, So howre you saying?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Or of y'all. I'm proud of us, you guys, we
- 0:32Speaker 1: did it so much for this opportunity. It's been a
- 0:35Speaker 1: great ride. A hundred episode, hundred episodes. I'm looking forward
- 0:39Speaker 1: to the next hundred. Wow, I can't even feel my
- 0:42Speaker 1: face right now. That's like Ry just sucked me up.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Like I was not even prepared. I wasn't like I
- 0:48Speaker 1: feel crazy. So, ladies and gentlemen, we got the dream
- 0:52Speaker 1: team back in the building. Rory Sue, how was your weekend?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Weekend was fantabulous? Kenny Burns? And for why is it
- 1:00Speaker 1: so Fan Tavers? Who did what this weekend? After all
- 1:04Speaker 1: these months saying he was going? I just wanted to know,
- 1:07Speaker 1: Ken Burns. I just want to know. So let me
- 1:10Speaker 1: just say, you guys, it hasn't been months. It's been
- 1:13Speaker 1: years since it has Are you really doing that? Yeah?
- 1:19Speaker 1: It counts okay? So no, Kenny Burns finally made it
- 1:24Speaker 1: to my Sunday brunch experience at Traffic and I am
- 1:27Speaker 1: usually there from twelve thirty to close, but in the
- 1:31Speaker 1: name of self care, I took some hours to myself
- 1:34Speaker 1: this Sunday and the words of fire Marshall. Bill, let
- 1:36Speaker 1: me tell you something that. Let me tell you I
- 1:40Speaker 1: wasn't there but called me asked me what time should
- 1:43Speaker 1: you go? I am so appreciative of that. I am
- 1:45Speaker 1: also creative of all the other people that came. Thank
- 1:48Speaker 1: you guys for coming about. We're not talking about what
- 1:52Speaker 1: we're talking nothing else, and we're talking about why my
- 1:58Speaker 1: weekend was fantasty. You gotta get k yeah, like R yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm going to this virtual I blowed thing at the
- 2:10Speaker 1: High Museum. We gotta go buy sis join You're gonna
- 2:12Speaker 1: meet me. He's like, oh man, I got this a
- 2:14Speaker 1: game with little Ror, got scrimmish, but you go and
- 2:18Speaker 1: then you know Sam, And I'm so grateful. No, no,
- 2:22Speaker 1: not finished. I want my roses. So I walked up
- 2:25Speaker 1: into place. You know what I'm saying, and I must
- 2:27Speaker 1: admit the dross the root to DJ Walke up in it, Sue,
- 2:32Speaker 1: And I tell you I want to just I want
- 2:34Speaker 1: to say d J Rosser Route was murdering it. I'm
- 2:39Speaker 1: talking about the sound track. So I said, I caught
- 2:42Speaker 1: myself in the groove so much so that the waitress
- 2:44Speaker 1: can't canny. You can't a hosted I was like, yeah, no, no, no,
- 2:50Speaker 1: no, no no. I was like, wait, my sister, I don't know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I said, only just little instagram sending a little thing
- 2:57Speaker 1: on this. I sent my shoes to it. You see
- 3:01Speaker 1: the floor, right, man, I know I know those floors
- 3:03Speaker 1: in that table very well. I missed you. I just
- 3:05Speaker 1: missed you. I miss you. I wanted to take pictures
- 3:08Speaker 1: of that. But you know, next time, it gonna be
- 3:11Speaker 1: hard to get him to come back out. It shouldn't be,
- 3:14Speaker 1: you know it is. It's always time. Your little jobs
- 3:18Speaker 1: are not happening. Talking about just because I came and
- 3:21Speaker 1: you weren't there. This is the problem. He came and
- 3:25Speaker 1: you were there, and he prefaced it last week saying
- 3:28Speaker 1: what time will you be there? You said, I'm always there.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I feel like any response that I have, y'all are
- 3:36Speaker 1: gonna say it's a job. Okay, let me respond to
- 3:38Speaker 1: what you just said. Because you've been going in for
- 3:40Speaker 1: a while, thank you, and I joined in a few times.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I joined in time I've been going in. I just
- 3:47Speaker 1: want to say, you know, there have been other scenarios
- 3:50Speaker 1: you know where I thought you were coming that you didn't.
- 3:52Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Sorry, how was your weekend, man, me,
- 3:58Speaker 1: I don't like this. My weekend was decent. I was
- 4:01Speaker 1: supposed to go to see how Double A in Charlotte
- 4:02Speaker 1: for their last year because I believe it's going to Baltimore.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But if little Rari won his baseball game Saturday, I
- 4:10Speaker 1: needed to stay because he was gonna have another game
- 4:13Speaker 1: Sunday and I was. I didn't want to miss it.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So he won, and then I had to call to
- 4:18Speaker 1: see how Double A and council. Most of the little
- 4:21Speaker 1: upset Little rar is doing a great job. Deposit. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: see me on another event. You gotta back in. They
- 4:30Speaker 1: call him Flash on the team. He's real fast. He
- 4:32Speaker 1: just gotta learn how to run through the first base.
- 4:34Speaker 1: You know he did. I saw the smoke kick up
- 4:36Speaker 1: on the last Yeah, he's um. You know this part
- 4:40Speaker 1: of the spring baseball double A. I believe Triple A
- 4:44Speaker 1: Double A. Either way, they're still learning the baseball, learning
- 4:47Speaker 1: how to play baseball, so you know they'll catch it
- 4:50Speaker 1: and then be like, oh what do I do next?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Like it'sn't that thing, but they can catch. Like last
- 4:55Speaker 1: year he was learning how to catch, learning how to hit.
- 4:58Speaker 1: This year, they know how to catch. They know how
- 5:00Speaker 1: to hit. It's more so that the game. Learning the
- 5:02Speaker 1: game of baseball, don't you find yourself like as he
- 5:05Speaker 1: learns things in the conversation, you're like, I'm in there
- 5:08Speaker 1: because I was like that with my nephews. And then
- 5:09Speaker 1: one of them plays for the Indians. He just got
- 5:12Speaker 1: brought up by the from the minors. And then my
- 5:15Speaker 1: other little one, he just got a full ride to
- 5:17Speaker 1: Vanderbilt for baseball. Baseball's the whole bag. So I was
- 5:22Speaker 1: there in the beginning with them taking them to baseball.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So I see Rory doing and I kind of see
- 5:27Speaker 1: a better version of them at that age. I'm over here, like,
- 5:31Speaker 1: ain't no salary baseball. You can play twenty years, twenty
- 5:36Speaker 1: five years and four maxes DJ two. So that was cool.
- 5:41Speaker 1: The highlight of my weekend was and I can't get
- 5:44Speaker 1: a drum roll from my younger place, Kyle Burns and
- 5:47Speaker 1: the will of wild Cats going to defeat I'm saying,
- 5:52Speaker 1: come on, give me in. I'm going to defeat Grayson
- 5:55Speaker 1: in the state championship this Saturday. They beat they'd beat
- 6:01Speaker 1: Milk in this past week. That's the making as the
- 6:03Speaker 1: making think, you know. And the crazy thing is Man
- 6:08Speaker 1: Wheeler was not. You know, I'm looking at big Shout
- 6:10Speaker 1: the ost and all like the viral uh Instagram Hooper
- 6:17Speaker 1: destinations on I g they weren't really promoting my Wildcats. Man,
- 6:21Speaker 1: they weren't really promoting my Wildcats. They just didn't have
- 6:24Speaker 1: no energy for Wheeler this year. And Wheelers you know
- 6:26Speaker 1: a basketball institution. Correct. They haven't been to the state
- 6:30Speaker 1: championship in five years, but they headed this year. And
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm very proud. My son's a sophomore. He doesn't get
- 6:37Speaker 1: a whole lot of time because it's elite school. But
- 6:40Speaker 1: next year he would be starting on voss Hey, and
- 6:42Speaker 1: I hope that he gets in and dumps on somebody's
- 6:45Speaker 1: head top. Kyle Burns like the Lebron I was, you know,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I got the NBA package, So I watched all Miami
- 6:55Speaker 1: Heat games Go Heat, and I watched all the Laker games.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I watched a lot of the Houston brock the games.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Lebron looks like a damn m v P. They talk,
- 7:02Speaker 1: they saying how it's such a big gap between him
- 7:04Speaker 1: and the Greek freak, but I beg to different. Lebron
- 7:08Speaker 1: has thirteen triple doubles this season, is lead leading seventeen
- 7:12Speaker 1: years in. He's thirty five years old. What's the average
- 7:18Speaker 1: NBA Careerman. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 7:21Speaker 1: no no. The average is like five years average, because
- 7:26Speaker 1: people come and go all the time. I would think
- 7:28Speaker 1: that was for football. That's crazy. Football is three years. Yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 1: what's see? I forgot that it might be it might
- 7:34Speaker 1: be between five and ten. But it's not fifteen at all.
- 7:38Speaker 1: He said, he's a year seventeen. Granted he came in
- 7:41Speaker 1: straight out of high school, so they always keep comparing
- 7:44Speaker 1: Zion to him. But I loved how after the game
- 7:47Speaker 1: he gave some Zion Zion some words of encouragement. I
- 7:50Speaker 1: will say this about Zion, though, that is a freak
- 7:53Speaker 1: of nature. I've never I've never seen somebody his heights,
- 7:57Speaker 1: girthy y, and I mean he was bullying like six
- 8:02Speaker 1: ten seven footers like Dwight Howard jumping over the white
- 8:07Speaker 1: I mean like he was the way he did the
- 8:09Speaker 1: outspin alley called the alley on coulsas head top. All
- 8:13Speaker 1: y'are now time for in case you missed the ladies, gentlemen,
- 8:20Speaker 1: I got one question, is a very serious question. I
- 8:22Speaker 1: suggest you be thoughtful with your answers. Is the coronavirus
- 8:26Speaker 1: a pandemic. If you don't know what the pandemic is,
- 8:28Speaker 1: that's something a disease. It spreads all over the galaxy,
- 8:32Speaker 1: our world. That is um and and it's it's causing things, y'all.
- 8:36Speaker 1: They closed they closed the Louver in Paris because of
- 8:38Speaker 1: the coronavirus. They just report, as we did on bother
- 8:41Speaker 1: that a pet, someone's pet at the Corona house. Right,
- 8:46Speaker 1: that's what it's in the water, So you guys know
- 8:48Speaker 1: what it is, right, it's basically a very very bad hold. Yeah,
- 8:53Speaker 1: it's the flu on steroids. On steroids, just so people know.
- 8:58Speaker 1: But no one might have the regular flew over there.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Please don't you know what? You get checked out, but
- 9:05Speaker 1: be aware. That's the how much you can't get a cold.
- 9:07Speaker 1: But I think you've got coronavirus. That's what I mean.
- 9:09Speaker 1: And everybody saying I had these symptoms, you got a cold,
- 9:12Speaker 1: You got cold, bro, relax, relax. But again it's pet
- 9:18Speaker 1: has it. They put it in the water. How did
- 9:20Speaker 1: the pet get it? I want to know. I need
- 9:22Speaker 1: to know. I need answers. Yeah, I didn't think pets
- 9:24Speaker 1: can catch I know, I do know pets can get it.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm not saying they can't. I sell bugs. How did
- 9:31Speaker 1: the pet get the coronavirus? About that? Did the coronavirus
- 9:35Speaker 1: not come from an animal? First? It came from like
- 9:37Speaker 1: a bat in a snake or some hybrid or some ship.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's not the truth, but it did come from It
- 9:43Speaker 1: came from something. It didn't come from something like that.
- 9:45Speaker 1: That's what I heard. I guess I should research the
- 9:47Speaker 1: head and make sure. Do y'all follow Hannah can Yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 1: it came from one of them, because she'd be having
- 9:53Speaker 1: the guy who was violating the chicken. Wait, but did
- 9:58Speaker 1: you see the dude who First of all, they eat
- 10:02Speaker 1: live stuff all the time, and they play with bats
- 10:05Speaker 1: and they eat stuff that you'd be like, what sway?
- 10:08Speaker 1: But that's how you begin these coronavirus. So she posted this,
- 10:11Speaker 1: but it was a man of Asian descent having sexual
- 10:16Speaker 1: relations with the chicken. No, she didn't. Maybe she didn't
- 10:19Speaker 1: post that, but I saw it, and it reminds me
- 10:21Speaker 1: of a hand of cane. Why why would having sex
- 10:25Speaker 1: with a chicken child? You know these people are here chicken. Yes,
- 10:30Speaker 1: he violated his chicken. I hope I haven't. Okay, great, um, ladies,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Vanessa Briant devastated by the reports that deputies
- 10:39Speaker 1: shared crash site photos that we reported this early, that
- 10:44Speaker 1: people were coming to the site and they had to
- 10:45Speaker 1: like really block off the site. You know what I'm saying.
- 10:49Speaker 1: That's but let me come on the police man, y'all
- 10:51Speaker 1: and y'all sharing the photos clearly, because it's how I
- 10:53Speaker 1: got back to shoed. I believe that does happen because
- 10:59Speaker 1: you know, part of the job, but not part of
- 11:02Speaker 1: the job, but it comes with the job where you
- 11:04Speaker 1: have the professional photographers come shoot you don't shoot on
- 11:06Speaker 1: your iPhone and share the pictures and it's clearly how
- 11:08Speaker 1: they get guys, I have photos. Yeah, that's like severed
- 11:12Speaker 1: in piece of it, like you know, I mean that
- 11:14Speaker 1: it was a crash. It was charred bodies. It was
- 11:17Speaker 1: like to to that's I mean. If I was her,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I would sue the ship's knit out of the entire
- 11:24Speaker 1: police force that was gonna do the Our ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:25Speaker 1: one time for my favorite TV show that has been
- 11:28Speaker 1: renewed for three more seasons after twenty four illustrious seasons,
- 11:31Speaker 1: The Amazing suv uh Law or SUV that I love that.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I love show that I watched with you guys. Yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I love that show. The show is one of the time.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Or are you like six seasons back? No, I just
- 11:45Speaker 1: watched whatever it is on TV. I'm sorry it's not
- 11:48Speaker 1: SUVs SVU. Yeah, driving STV. Sorry about that, but no,
- 11:54Speaker 1: that's my favorite joint. I love lately how they've been
- 11:56Speaker 1: taking stories out of the headlines, blatant stories and re
- 12:00Speaker 1: enacting them in their whole thing. I thought it'd be
- 12:02Speaker 1: corny at first, but it's not. They're going into their
- 12:05Speaker 1: twenty fifth season to dream It's real. One of my
- 12:07Speaker 1: favorite shows. Lady and Gentlemen Hit The miss needs you
- 12:09Speaker 1: to go to i G page and check out Kim
- 12:11Speaker 1: kardashing and wearing ball Main's fall latext on some boat.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I think she got in it. I want to know how.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I want to see footage, but what do you think?
- 12:20Speaker 1: A lot of baby powder? I absolutely think it's a hit,
- 12:23Speaker 1: and I will be waiting for the Fashion Over knockoff
- 12:25Speaker 1: version of all three. The Fashion Over Knockoff version is
- 12:29Speaker 1: coming to a i G near you. It's probably out
- 12:32Speaker 1: right now. She looks amazing. She killed it, um, I mean,
- 12:36Speaker 1: Kim is I don't care what you have to say
- 12:37Speaker 1: about her. When it comes to fashion. She she kind
- 12:42Speaker 1: of gets it. She's a she's ash. That was her,
- 12:45Speaker 1: that was her style, was consistant to um mans Hi.
- 12:51Speaker 1: She's always pushing the envelope, you know, and and we're
- 12:54Speaker 1: always sometimes we question like what the hell is she wearing?
- 12:57Speaker 1: And then a whole year later we're like, oh, wait,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you know what she was on trend? Fashion got this?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Would you say she was a fashion guard, but she
- 13:05Speaker 1: was Paris Hilton's assistant. I think she was more of
- 13:09Speaker 1: a high She was doing everything for her. But I'm saying, no,
- 13:16Speaker 1: she was not a fashion definitely not. But she has grown,
- 13:20Speaker 1: she has elevated. The wallets are getting bigger, obviously, and
- 13:23Speaker 1: her wardrobe is insane. Did you see those on Kanye
- 13:27Speaker 1: the Easy Fo you know, I'm on my strike, I
- 13:30Speaker 1: kind of dip in, dip out. Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:32Speaker 1: They at the little zaggy zaggy zig Zaggerty. I don't know,
- 13:35Speaker 1: they had like a lot of like zig zaggerty phoney
- 13:38Speaker 1: kind of bottom because he's a Zadie. Now, oh so
- 13:42Speaker 1: zig don't say that word. Don't say I say I
- 13:45Speaker 1: can say that. I was saying zag some some dad
- 13:49Speaker 1: vibes to it. Maybe I don't know. It definitely has
- 13:51Speaker 1: futuristic and I was getting into that. That was my point.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I think they're really going futuristic with all this. I
- 13:56Speaker 1: mean the size and of the clothes. That cuts to me.
- 13:59Speaker 1: He got out of the car, are he jumped over
- 14:00Speaker 1: a huge puddle not to mess up his new um,
- 14:04Speaker 1: but yeah, they were um. He had a leather on.
- 14:06Speaker 1: He had a weird shape, kind of cut shirt. I
- 14:08Speaker 1: would say, Kanye, it's kind of like a fashion car,
- 14:11Speaker 1: but I really don't want to give it to any
- 14:12Speaker 1: Where's the sad colors and the droopie and the you
- 14:16Speaker 1: know what look, because but then he I don't know
- 14:18Speaker 1: what do you want the final say. I'm trying to
- 14:20Speaker 1: find them too. Yeah, man, but I just it's weird
- 14:25Speaker 1: because I give him fashion credit for for Kim, for
- 14:29Speaker 1: inspiring her, but then sometimes he hits her miss you
- 14:33Speaker 1: know how It's like, you know, mas hairstylist never has
- 14:37Speaker 1: her own hair done. I think it's manicurious, nails be twisted.
- 14:42Speaker 1: So it's like he knows fashion, but when it comes
- 14:44Speaker 1: to him, he don't care what he put on. He's
- 14:46Speaker 1: just like, hey, I'm comfortable. It's clean. I see yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 1: like the cut of his shirt, the leather pants ladies
- 14:56Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Virginal A Blow did a talk at the
- 14:57Speaker 1: High Museum this weekend, a t get your face into
- 15:00Speaker 1: place soon because it will be gone, and as y'all know,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I fried him. I had a panel meeting over there
- 15:07Speaker 1: with Quasi uh Ronaut on the Man and the Beautiful
- 15:11Speaker 1: Sky um, and we talked about some of his comments
- 15:13Speaker 1: in the day's article where he said the streetwear I
- 15:16Speaker 1: was gonna die in ten years, and at the time
- 15:20Speaker 1: I thought it was very irresponsible as a fashion guard,
- 15:23Speaker 1: as the first African American of African descent to lead
- 15:28Speaker 1: a French fashion house, and I was just kind of
- 15:30Speaker 1: I wanted to have a real conversation when which we
- 15:32Speaker 1: would call me seemed like he was like setting himself up.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Well I think he was. He was being opinionated um,
- 15:39Speaker 1: as we all are as creatives um. And he cleared
- 15:42Speaker 1: it up at this this weekend during his panel he
- 15:44Speaker 1: was basically he was prompting the new generation of designers
- 15:49Speaker 1: to come up with their version of it. So he
- 15:51Speaker 1: really wasn't saying like street where it was gonna die
- 15:57Speaker 1: and yeah, I mean, but I thought something he was
- 16:00Speaker 1: cleaning up, because you can't say because it's quote directly
- 16:03Speaker 1: was about T shirts and sweatshirts and hoodies, which will
- 16:06Speaker 1: always be prevalent and necessary because you know, that's what
- 16:10Speaker 1: we love. That's the most comfortable thing and the easiest
- 16:12Speaker 1: thing to go to. Like Susan has on one right
- 16:14Speaker 1: now over her Koofi slash scarf set the ship ran
- 16:18Speaker 1: I got natural hair. Okay, these edges are puffy, yes
- 16:24Speaker 1: it is. But I do think Versus very smart, y'all.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I think that he was very insightful on how he
- 16:29Speaker 1: adds architectural to his design. So one time for Virgil
- 16:33Speaker 1: a blow, ladies, gentlemen to gost of, Michael Jackson tripped
- 16:36Speaker 1: open Winfrey on stage and had your life tour. Did
- 16:41Speaker 1: you see it? Yeah? I saw it. I left. We'll
- 16:45Speaker 1: just listen to this part right here. And balance doesn't
- 16:47Speaker 1: mean all things are equal or at peace at all times. Yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I feel I feel bad like this right, feel bad?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Right noticed she was talking about balance and lost her balance.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Don't you think he's like a see high hills must
- 17:21Speaker 1: not have been equal that day. I don't know what
- 17:24Speaker 1: was going on, but y'all know, snoop Dog has something
- 17:26Speaker 1: to say about it. Y'all know, I f if he
- 17:28Speaker 1: has something to say about it, and I will share
- 17:29Speaker 1: that a little later. Yeah, I just said, I want
- 17:32Speaker 1: to say this. We sound like a morning show, all right,
- 17:35Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. J Low talks Oscar snub and feeling
- 17:39Speaker 1: let down for her role in Hustlers. This is also
- 17:42Speaker 1: while talking to Oprah on her Your Life and Focused tour, Um,
- 17:46Speaker 1: do you think she deserves or deserved an Oscar? There
- 17:49Speaker 1: was some buzz, some chatter about that she was up forward,
- 17:52Speaker 1: blah blah blah, she got nominated. It wasn't that exactly.
- 17:57Speaker 1: No love Jennifer Lopez, love her, but phenomenal limit I
- 18:02Speaker 1: believed you. Yeah, but Oscar Oscar that that that that's
- 18:06Speaker 1: really intense, just singing everything today. I remember the human
- 18:13Speaker 1: beat box pretty that we have, you know, And I
- 18:17Speaker 1: don't want to make this a race thing, right, but
- 18:19Speaker 1: we all know that a lot of this stuff in Hollywood,
- 18:21Speaker 1: in this world is I'm pretty sure we've got some
- 18:24Speaker 1: brothers and sisters that are still waiting on their oscars.
- 18:26Speaker 1: But y'all want to hurry up and give her one,
- 18:28Speaker 1: because she played Scripple. I mean, but you know I could,
- 18:34Speaker 1: I could, I could go for I'm cool for a
- 18:36Speaker 1: Latina Oscar winner. I'm totally cool for that because you
- 18:43Speaker 1: know it's like it's almost like when when Hustling Flow.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You'll remember that Hustle the Flow got nominated and I
- 18:49Speaker 1: think the soundtrack one Whoop that trick that was the
- 18:53Speaker 1: biggest shade of all time? You're gonna reward? Can you
- 18:57Speaker 1: go with that? Real quick? Was Whoop that trick that
- 18:59Speaker 1: got the war? But I remember for a fact that
- 19:04Speaker 1: what's the Memphis? Uh? What's they performed that joint and
- 19:09Speaker 1: it was nominated for an oscar something was nominated. But anyway,
- 19:13Speaker 1: I think that was the biggest shade ever And those
- 19:15Speaker 1: are the types of things they seemed to award us for. Um. Yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: that's a bigger discussion on who black has one and
- 19:23Speaker 1: who has not one and why they should have we
- 19:25Speaker 1: shouldn't have, ladies and gentlemen. Also, j Low was talking
- 19:28Speaker 1: to Oprah on Your Life and Focus to about her
- 19:32Speaker 1: fiance and whether she was gonna get married soon, and
- 19:34Speaker 1: she went on to say she's taking her time, she's
- 19:37Speaker 1: not in the rush. Well she had she's running out.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Time is running out. She's fifty one, she'll be fifty
- 19:49Speaker 1: one this year, so that's fine. But the way that
- 19:52Speaker 1: she explained it was really awesome. She says, if we're actually,
- 19:54Speaker 1: you know, gonna build this, if we're really gonna do this,
- 19:57Speaker 1: and what is the rush? Like we can build our
- 19:59Speaker 1: family foundation, our unit, our structure, and get married when
- 20:03Speaker 1: we get married. But we already know that the plan
- 20:05Speaker 1: is to be together. So let's just be together, right.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I get it. Like they got back, you ain't had
- 20:12Speaker 1: three divorces. I get it. She looking good at fifty, bro,
- 20:18Speaker 1: looking like she twenty. She looking good. Your fifty is
- 20:21Speaker 1: the new thirty bro. I'm just saying, people, I mean,
- 20:24Speaker 1: you got some fifty year old looking like sendy five
- 20:25Speaker 1: year olds. But yeah, speaking of crazy, Flavor Flavor has
- 20:30Speaker 1: been kicked out of Public Enemy after disagreement over Bernie Sanders.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Is that nuts? The group said in a statement to
- 20:37Speaker 1: Rolling Stone Sunday Night, Public Enemy UM and Public Enemy Radio.
- 20:42Speaker 1: We're moving forward without Flavor Flavor, thank him for years
- 20:46Speaker 1: of service, and wish him well the boot comes out.
- 20:49Speaker 1: The Flavor Flavor issue a cease and desist letter last
- 20:52Speaker 1: week to Bernie Sanders campaign because Chuck d had planned
- 20:55Speaker 1: to perform for the presidential Canada and Los Angeles under
- 20:59Speaker 1: the name Public Enemy Radio in the case I'm sorry.
- 21:03Speaker 1: In the cease and desist letter, Flavor accused of Sanders
- 21:06Speaker 1: campaign of the unauthorized use of flavor flavors, likeness, image,
- 21:10Speaker 1: and or trademark um, which is the clock and promotional
- 21:14Speaker 1: materials circulated by the Sanders campaign. While Chuck is certainly
- 21:18Speaker 1: free to express his political view as he sees it,
- 21:21Speaker 1: his voice alone does not speak for public Enemy Flavor's letter.
- 21:25Speaker 1: The playing performance will only be Chuck dea public enemy.
- 21:29Speaker 1: It will not be performance by public enemy. Those who
- 21:31Speaker 1: truly know what public public enemy stands for knows what
- 21:36Speaker 1: time it is. There's no public enemy without flavor Flavor.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Do you agree? I mean, I agree, I mean that's it.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I guess flavors upset about them
- 21:48Speaker 1: using likeness that obviously tried to kind of undercut it
- 21:51Speaker 1: or sideswipe it by saying public Enemy Radio. Um, yeah, bro, Like,
- 21:57Speaker 1: I don't know flavor flavors as you got to fight
- 22:00Speaker 1: the power. Yeah, but it's I mean, he's the most
- 22:03Speaker 1: most iconic figure in it. No this chuck D. No,
- 22:06Speaker 1: just spend the chuck D. That's just my opinion though,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I think that politics to do this to them right,
- 22:12Speaker 1: knowing about money now you know somebody getting paid somebody ain't.
- 22:15Speaker 1: That's that's opinion. Yeah, I want time for TV one, y'all.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I want to shout out all the unsungs. Man. Unsung
- 22:23Speaker 1: is one of the best shows on television. If you
- 22:25Speaker 1: had any affection for R and B a hip hop,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you should watch Unsung on TV one. Bars. Did y'all
- 22:32Speaker 1: see the Drew Hill drink? I saw Drew Hill yesterday
- 22:36Speaker 1: and I caught the rock Sande Shanta joint. I did
- 22:38Speaker 1: see the advertisement for it, man, but that's just you
- 22:42Speaker 1: know those that area, that's my air. So when I
- 22:44Speaker 1: see she was like the first like female m Yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 1: that was like have bars popping the rock sand ravans
- 22:52Speaker 1: U t o Utfo made a song at that time.
- 22:55Speaker 1: It was rocking. Vio Manny came back talking about them
- 23:01Speaker 1: because huh, I remember I remember hearing that good old days.
- 23:06Speaker 1: All right, ladies and gentlemen, and now it's time for
- 23:08Speaker 1: a word from our sponsors, and now it's time for
- 23:14Speaker 1: baller ma'ns. Dear Rory my man constantly picks on me.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I don't like it because he speaks about how big
- 23:21Speaker 1: my head is and he laughs about it. Hey, big head,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm not sure she's joking because he does laugh, or
- 23:28Speaker 1: if he really doesn't look like that. I have a
- 23:30Speaker 1: large head and a large forehead. I'm twenty five and
- 23:33Speaker 1: he's twenty seven. We have a four year old child together,
- 23:36Speaker 1: and we're engaged to be married January. I'm from Seattle, Washington.
- 23:41Speaker 1: He's from Atlanta. After help, please help me understand why
- 23:45Speaker 1: he keeps picking Washington. Got sister, what's her name? She
- 23:49Speaker 1: didn't say her name. She didn't say her name. Girl,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I don't figure you out. You are Ethiopian air tree
- 23:54Speaker 1: and you live in seattle't Washington like the rest of us.
- 23:56Speaker 1: You answer for her? Go ahead, big forehead, since it's okay,
- 24:01Speaker 1: Let me chime in, girl. He from Atlanta. They do
- 24:04Speaker 1: something called joan here. He just cracking on you. That
- 24:06Speaker 1: means he's physically attracted to your big head and your
- 24:09Speaker 1: big forehead. Baby. He loves her, engaged about to get married.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Kids smart, He loves your confidence when you wear ponytails
- 24:16Speaker 1: like she just got her whole thing. He's dealing with
- 24:18Speaker 1: a guy from the South. When we say when we
- 24:21Speaker 1: say things like girl, you've got a big ass head,
- 24:24Speaker 1: or your head biggest ship, or be quiet with your
- 24:26Speaker 1: big head, we want to eat your butter. That's all
- 24:32Speaker 1: I'm saying. As long as everything is satisfactory at the
- 24:34Speaker 1: house and he made you happy, he cracking on you.
- 24:37Speaker 1: You know what doesn't want to make about Does he
- 24:40Speaker 1: only talking about your forehead and a joking way, or
- 24:42Speaker 1: does he just talking about that's what she said. She
- 24:44Speaker 1: said he laughs about it. I'm not sure if he's
- 24:48Speaker 1: joking or if he really doesn't like that I have
- 24:51Speaker 1: a large forehead. Well, let me just say, there's nothing
- 24:54Speaker 1: wrong with your forehead. That's a bad commode or a
- 24:56Speaker 1: big head and a big forehead. Damn. But let me
- 24:59Speaker 1: tell else something is a real thing. And when someone
- 25:04Speaker 1: doesn't heal, it turns into a trigger. Five had African
- 25:10Speaker 1: Bud Descratcher in school that, oh my god, you don't
- 25:13Speaker 1: know she's positive. And then and then she gets with
- 25:19Speaker 1: the man that she really enjoys, who lives in Atlanta.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Y'all already knows what's going on. I don't know where
- 25:24Speaker 1: they live. He said. She's from he's from the Atlanta
- 25:28Speaker 1: and she's from Seattle. She didn't put where they act. Okay, well,
- 25:31Speaker 1: nonetheless you are petty. The less says, it's okay. You
- 25:37Speaker 1: gotta get over the childhood trauma. I know that they
- 25:39Speaker 1: were teasing you in school. It happened, might not be
- 25:43Speaker 1: you got a big head they're talking about. She smelled
- 25:46Speaker 1: like Africa. Smell like Curry here like this girl. I know,
- 25:49Speaker 1: I like that, like that Curry. My mom one Caribbean,
- 25:54Speaker 1: so I like Curry Perry. Let that man love on
- 25:56Speaker 1: you and kiss that for her, I think. I think,
- 25:58Speaker 1: as long as he's not demeaning you all the time
- 26:02Speaker 1: in other ways and occasionally comes with a forehead joke,
- 26:05Speaker 1: come with the territory. I got a big head personally,
- 26:08Speaker 1: I have got my teeth. Read that in college. I
- 26:13Speaker 1: read that in Kenny Burns's book. Yes, and then the
- 26:16Speaker 1: torso torsos longer than my legs, the left from my legs,
- 26:20Speaker 1: AND's got issues out here and except who you are
- 26:24Speaker 1: not balanced? I am? I am as my head head ways. Okay, great,
- 26:30Speaker 1: and now we're from our sponsors and I was signed
- 26:35Speaker 1: for comment creeping creep group. Okay, you guys, this is
- 26:43Speaker 1: gonna be nice, short and sweet, but I felt I'm
- 26:46Speaker 1: always important to share this. You know, we're still mourning
- 26:50Speaker 1: the loss of Pop Smoke, especially in New York. People
- 26:54Speaker 1: are blasting his music NonStop. I know DJs in Atlanta
- 26:56Speaker 1: are going crazy. It shouldn't have happened right now, fifty cent.
- 27:01Speaker 1: We may know him as being King Petty or whatever
- 27:04Speaker 1: it is that we want to say about fifty but
- 27:06Speaker 1: he actually posted a photo looked like he was on
- 27:09Speaker 1: a PJ on a private jet, and he says, I'm
- 27:13Speaker 1: on the move listening to Pop Smoke. I decided I'm
- 27:15Speaker 1: going to executive produce and finish his album for him.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Fire That's super fire. So fans started going in and
- 27:23Speaker 1: tweeting or tagging the people that they wanted to see
- 27:26Speaker 1: featured on the completed project. Someone tags Roddy Rich and
- 27:30Speaker 1: he responds, say no more for show. That would be
- 27:35Speaker 1: fired Roddy Rich and a Pop Smoke collaboration would be
- 27:39Speaker 1: absolutely amazing. So shout out to fifty for, you know,
- 27:42Speaker 1: showing us the other side of him. I think it's
- 27:45Speaker 1: though to people trying to hate and say, you know
- 27:47Speaker 1: he did, I'm just saying, because you know, he's dead,
- 27:50Speaker 1: and how does he gained the sent the third why
- 27:52Speaker 1: would he try to profit off of that? I don't.
- 27:54Speaker 1: My thing is, man, keep the legacy going, keep the
- 27:56Speaker 1: legacy going, and for all we know, this could truly
- 27:59Speaker 1: benefit his family as well. You know, so you album
- 28:06Speaker 1: and now it's time fucking Fucius ladies, gentlemen. Mental health
- 28:14Speaker 1: is real. Um. I wanna send a shout out to
- 28:18Speaker 1: all those struggling. I really thought about this because of
- 28:23Speaker 1: Herbo's new album, P T S d UM and I
- 28:27Speaker 1: just love how the youth is now having the conversation.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I mean, we've talked here on ball Alert and with
- 28:35Speaker 1: ball our Nation, um, you know, on our you know platforms.
- 28:40Speaker 1: But it's so important we continue to have this conversation. Man,
- 28:43Speaker 1: these people out here, I don't know how to talk
- 28:46Speaker 1: about it, don't know how to communicate, um, you know,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and sometimes I don't even know they have issues. You know,
- 28:52Speaker 1: a lot of what Herbo was talking about in his
- 28:55Speaker 1: new album and his interviews leading up to the album
- 28:58Speaker 1: is you know, he just thought it was normal. You
- 29:00Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. When you see somebody at eight
- 29:03Speaker 1: years old get shot and die and you go right
- 29:06Speaker 1: back outside, you know what I'm saying, you know what
- 29:08Speaker 1: I'm saying, and then you get shot yourself. You hear up.
- 29:11Speaker 1: You know you gotta go on your weights, going back outside.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I mean, it's perpetual, right, and I think that, you know,
- 29:17Speaker 1: we have to have more discussions about it and be
- 29:19Speaker 1: more thoughtful. Man. You know, there's a lot of times
- 29:21Speaker 1: when people say things and depending on the person, Like,
- 29:23Speaker 1: I think that I'm a very good spirit catcher, meaning
- 29:27Speaker 1: I catch people's intentions off the rib and I'm thoughtful
- 29:31Speaker 1: with my comeback. Some people coming come at me crazy
- 29:34Speaker 1: and I've been able to the few situations by being
- 29:37Speaker 1: thoughtful and using words that I feel can help them
- 29:41Speaker 1: in that moment. So let's be kind to one another,
- 29:43Speaker 1: and more important, that's be thoughtful because everybody and got
- 29:46Speaker 1: it all together, y'all love y'all ballination piece. It's real
