- 2:45Well, Helen, good evening everybody.
- 2:47For the for those of you that are tuning in live for this very
- 2:51special sort of new thing that we're testing out here on the on
- 2:55the podcast doing a sort of town hall live stream as it were.
- 3:00And for those of you that catch this after the fact, like when
- 3:04it airs on the audio platforms and then and what not later this
- 3:07week, stay tuned. I will probably be talking more
- 3:10about this in future episodes. But yeah, I wanted to to just do
- 3:16a live stream because I know a lot of folks enjoy the
- 3:18interaction, enjoy, you know, the back and forth when people
- 3:22ask questions, we post their questions on screen and and I
- 3:25talk about it and I forget. This would just be a really
- 3:27great way to field some things that are on people's minds out
- 3:32here and abroad. So if you are just a listener to
- 3:36the podcast and you don't yet want to pledge your support on
- 3:39Patreon for just a dollar to get access to the video version of
- 3:44the shows, that's OK. You don't have to.
- 3:47We will probably be doing these types of podcasts once a month.
- 3:52So at the time of the of of this live stream, it's Monday and
- 3:57we'll likely be doing them on Monday nights too.
- 3:59I know that doesn't fit on everybody's schedule, but hey,
- 4:01if you can pop in and say hello, please do so down in the
- 4:04comments. Much appreciated.
- 4:05We are streaming live on YouTube and Facebook.
- 4:09So wherever you're checking in from, wherever you're watching
- 4:11from now, I'll go ahead and drop a comment down below and say hi.
- 4:16And we got our first live viewer here.
- 4:18We got dragon Alchemist says good evening.
- 4:20Well, good evening to you, Dragon Alchemist, and thanks for
- 4:22commenting and thanks for tuning into the live stream.
- 4:26So like I said, we're going to just be asking, you know,
- 4:28answering questions that people might have or thoughts that
- 4:30people might have. While we're waiting for some
- 4:33more folks to join us, I will just mention to all of you that
- 4:37there are some, or there is one really cool local heathen event
- 4:43happening here soon in the Murfreesboro, TN area.
- 4:46So every year the Friends of Chatham Raven, I'll get it
- 4:51right. Raven Moon.
- 4:53What is it? Raven Moon Hearth.
- 4:57There we go. I was thinking of two different
- 5:00meteries and they were crossing because they both got the names
- 5:03of the meteries in their in their thing.
- 5:06But the Raven Moon hearth kindred is going to be hosting
- 5:10their annual shadow mood event. Hello there to Randy Catch in a
- 5:15bit before work. Good evening to you.
- 5:17Well, cool. And thank you for tuning in.
- 5:18And Halen, welcome to my good friend and brother, Patrick
- 5:22Walsh. Hey, hey, brother, long time no
- 5:23talk. I know, right?
- 5:24It's been forever. Not really good to see you here
- 5:28in the in the in the comments, Patrick and everybody.
- 5:31So once again, just to remind everybody, October 12th, which
- 5:35is a Saturday here in Murfreesboro, TN at the Barfield
- 5:41Crescent, Barfield Crescent Park Pavilion 6.
- 5:48I believe the the Raven Moon Hearth Kindred is going to be
- 5:53hosting their annual Shadowmoot event.
- 5:55And although it's going to be a little bit different this year
- 5:57and normally they do a weekend long sort of camp thing, they
- 6:02won't be doing that this year. Hopefully next year they'll be
- 6:05able to reintroduce that sort of thing, but they are only going
- 6:09to be able to do a one day event and it's a public event here in
- 6:12Murfreesboro, TN again at the Barfield Crescent Park.
- 6:15So there'll be a link that I that I shared down in the
- 6:17description area after the fact. You know where that's going to
- 6:22be for, for those of you that are on Facebook that, that want,
- 6:27you know, an event page to, to, to follow, but it's going to be
- 6:31an all day thing. It's a potluck style event.
- 6:33There will be classes. I'll be doing a class on Heath
- 6:36and stumble. There'll be other people doing
- 6:38classes. There'll be food.
- 6:40So again, since it's potluck style, please, if you're going
- 6:42to attend, bring a dish. Glad I could catch you before
- 6:47work. Thank you, David David Klein
- 6:50down there in Columbia, TN, I believe associated with the
- 6:55Asgard Brewing Company, which I have yet to get down there.
- 6:58I know it's been a while since then.
- 6:59I had David on the podcast, but I, I, I, I'm not that far from
- 7:03Columbia. I just, I don't get out much, at
- 7:05least not down in that area. I need to make a trip down and
- 7:08and meet some of you folks. Love the watermark got on the
- 7:12screen. Thank you, bud.
- 7:13Thank you. This is over here in my, my
- 7:16left, your right, the the random heathen Ramblings podcast logo.
- 7:23So, yeah, got to represent all that fun stuff.
- 7:27So, yeah, Raven Moon Hearth is doing their Shadowmoot event.
- 7:31I think that's, you know, there's, there's always, of
- 7:33course, every couple of weeks there are what they call pianos
- 7:36here in Murfreesboro or Smyrna, TN Pianos just means Pagan night
- 7:41out. But it happens during the day
- 7:43and it's usually somewhere like a coffee shop, sometimes a
- 7:46Dunkin' Donuts, sometimes like a metaphysical store.
- 7:50Every two weeks they they're happening.
- 7:52So the one that just happened this week was in Smyrna, TN.
- 7:55And then I think the next one is it going to be at like Dunkin'
- 7:57Donuts Sunday, the 28th last one of the of the month of
- 8:02September. Hello, Bradley.
- 8:04Bradley boss, another Missourian.
- 8:07Missourian, whatever you guys call yourselves out there in the
- 8:11land, the show me state. So thanks for tuning in,
- 8:15Bradley. Good to have you.
- 8:17Yeah, Asgard has, sadly. Oh, my goodness, David, why did
- 8:20you? Oh, man, are you kidding me?
- 8:22Asgard Brewery has sadly closed permanently.
- 8:25Oh, man, that breaks my heart. I wish I had made it down there
- 8:28now. Dang, man.
- 8:31Well, I'm glad to hear that the Kindred is doing well.
- 8:35We'll stay in touch, man, because I definitely would like
- 8:38to come down and just meet you and and the folks down there.
- 8:42But I'm really sorry to hear that.
- 8:43I had no idea that the Brewing Company had closed down.
- 8:46That must have slipped under my radar.
- 8:47So that breaks my my little haven heart being and out of the
- 8:54live. So bear with you.
- 8:55I'm bearing with you, Patrick. Would you like me to Brown bear,
- 8:58grizzly bear, Black bear. You know, name the bear?
- 9:04Yes. A fellow Missourian.
- 9:05Yeah. Bradley, I think is just a he's.
- 9:08I think he's a few hours South of you maybe.
- 9:12Or north, I forget. I think there's a few hours
- 9:14difference maybe between the two years, but he says what's up
- 9:18Patrick and what's up everybody brown would be ideal.
- 9:22Well, I got, although you guys can't really see it because my
- 9:25background is is is a bit blurred for privacy reasons.
- 9:29There is a brown bear skin behind me.
- 9:33So that works out perfect for your preference there, Patrick,
- 9:38about a four hour distance. OK, All right, so if anybody has
- 9:46a topic they would like to to talk about, feel free to drop it
- 9:49in the comments. We're going to just be going for
- 9:51however long it takes. Podcast episodes usually last
- 9:54about an hour. And I know this is one again
- 9:56that I announced last week to kind of give people a heads up
- 9:59and it, you know, like a consideration of, hey, if you're
- 10:01going to join, you're going to come on in into the comments.
- 10:04And you had something that was maybe tickling your brain
- 10:08armpits, you know, and maybe somebody's out there, you know,
- 10:11putting a feather to the medulla oblongata and giving you some
- 10:15things to think about that you'd want to toss out here in the
- 10:17comments then. Yeah, feel free to do so.
- 10:23It's been, it's been a pretty hectic week, I'd say, for me,
- 10:26hectic life. You know, it's not always a bad
- 10:29thing, but a lot of stuff going on with a lot of people in my
- 10:33life that I'm glad to be. I'm glad to be present for and
- 10:38I'm glad to be alive for. And I'm glad to, you know, do
- 10:41things that of that, you know, in my world view, the
- 10:46preservation of honor and, and all of that, that I'm able to,
- 10:49to do that and, and, and share, share in, in triumphs, share in
- 10:54victories, share in sorrows and, and share in struggles, right?
- 10:59I mean, that's what that's what Frith is about.
- 11:02And when you're connecting with people in that, in that sort of
- 11:05way, Frith means everything. You know, Frith is the is that
- 11:10sacred bond that is established through whether it's family or
- 11:14often times through just, you know, fostering adoption,
- 11:17marriage, various things like that.
- 11:19You get the whole package. You know, O thing even can be a
- 11:23way to to enter into that Frith web.
- 11:27And you know, I'm experiencing a lot of all that here lately and
- 11:34my sort of my private life, but I'm glad to have those
- 11:38experiences. I would say for everybody, you
- 11:41know, when you're finding yourselves in situations where
- 11:44you know you can help one another and, and all that, don't
- 11:46forget about yourselves. You know a.
- 11:49Lot of us tend to over bear ourselves with the concerns and
- 11:54the needs and the and the, you know, the the stuff of others in
- 11:58an effort to try to help them. And we can't overextend
- 12:02ourselves and overexert ourselves.
- 12:04We have to take care of. Ourselves so don't don't think
- 12:07you're being selfish by executing your boundaries and
- 12:10saying no when it needs to be no or or whatever it is.
- 12:13You know if you need to take time for yourself, take time for
- 12:15yourself and that's that's how we take care of one another too.
- 12:21Patrick says love seeing your advancement in progress in your
- 12:24lives. Thank you bud.
- 12:27And OK, he says for topics. How about preparing for the
- 12:32solstices or Yeah, and and Christian slash Catholic dealing
- 12:40with our traditions. And then he says, yeah, so proud
- 12:45we get to meet two years ago visiting you, my friend.
- 12:47Yeah, two years ago today, right.
- 12:50It was two years ago today when we met one another.
- 12:55Might be getting a little bit of a lag, but we're just going to
- 12:57keep rolling with it. And yes, Fire on the Mountain
- 13:00last year was Patrick's first and then this year will be a
- 13:04second. So with regards to Patrick, your
- 13:09topic on preparing for, you know, the solstice, the autumnal
- 13:17equinox is right around the corner, which I know is not a
- 13:24inherently heathen thing, but we'll talk about it.
- 13:29I, I actually posted something right around this time last year
- 13:35because a lot of folks get into this or heathens.
- 13:38I've see a lot of folks like for some reason they'll say, you
- 13:42know, the autumnal equinox and, and house bloat and, and they'll
- 13:45use these terms like interchangeably.
- 13:47And they're not the same. They don't they don't have any
- 13:51correlation. But this year it is the autumnal
- 13:55equinox is, is, is going to be on, yeah, September 22nd, you
- 14:00know, so we're, we're gonna be technically welcoming in the
- 14:05first day of autumn at that time, you know, so for, for, for
- 14:11me, I, you know, I don't really have anything specific that I do
- 14:17a lot on the, on the equinox. I'll actually be this weekend
- 14:20coming up. So, you know, the weekend of
- 14:26the, the autumnal equinox, I will be, I'll be out in nature
- 14:31on some property out in Dunlap, TN with some sort of extensions
- 14:37of my family for like a weekend long camp.
- 14:41We're gonna, we're gonna be feasting, we're gonna be doing
- 14:43some, some work on this, on one of the elders of our community.
- 14:46He has a lot of property up in the mountains.
- 14:48And we're gonna be assembling out there to do some work to
- 14:50help out. And they'll be, you know,
- 14:53they'll be. Fellowship.
- 14:55They'll be ritual. I think they're actually doing a
- 14:58sort of, as I understand they're, they're they're they're
- 15:00kind of framing the ritual around a, a Wiccan model of, of
- 15:05the ritual ceremony, which is fine, But you know, we were
- 15:09invited, select people were invited to come out and
- 15:12participate, help out, do the work, eat some food, sharing
- 15:15some company. So that is how I'm preparing for
- 15:18it. I guess you could say is, is,
- 15:20you know, getting out with, into nature and, and sharing time and
- 15:24space with those spirits and also the, the company of our,
- 15:28our people in the communities. But one other thing that I think
- 15:34of in terms of, you know, again, this isn't necessarily a heathen
- 15:36thing, you know, so bear that in mind.
- 15:39But I think about the, the, the change of the seasons and, and,
- 15:43and what all of these, these things mean.
- 15:45Like we, we see obvious changes to the landscape.
- 15:51We feel it in the air. We see it when our daylight
- 15:54becomes less and less over the progressing days.
- 15:59And so we can see there's tangible things that come to, to
- 16:02our senses that alert us of the change of the seasons.
- 16:06And that also can for me, sometimes initiate or trigger
- 16:10some thoughts of, of what that means in the spiritual sense.
- 16:14A lot of folks are big on, you know, when it's springtime, you
- 16:17know, spring cleaning, get all the dust out of the, the, the,
- 16:20the cobwebs out of the corners and, and get all the old things
- 16:24out and make way for the new. And I think that there is, is,
- 16:30there is as much, you know, thought to be put into laying
- 16:35things to rest and putting things to bed as there are of
- 16:39put, you know, waking things up and alerting things of, of their
- 16:43newness, right. So we're, we're, we're entering
- 16:45into days and we're entering into times where we need to let
- 16:49some things die. We need to let some things go.
- 16:52We need to let some things be put to rest, you know, so those
- 16:57are the types of things that I think about as we approach this
- 17:00time of year in the Northern hemisphere, in the, in the
- 17:03United States, when you know, the autumnal equinox is, is, is
- 17:08in our is in our area, you know, you'll and other Pagan holidays.
- 17:14Patrick with the with the church, we say clashing.
- 17:22I think you said clashing with our traditions.
- 17:24I actually did a podcast last week with Robert SAS about that,
- 17:29about how how much the Chaz the church claimed of heathen
- 17:34traditions, of Germanic heathen traditions.
- 17:36We're talking specifically heathen stuff.
- 17:38I know you said mule and other Pagan holidays, but I, I
- 17:41differentiate between the two, right?
- 17:43Heathen is Germanic, Pagan, could be anything.
- 17:46And there was there were, you know, there was the, the big
- 17:48thing noted is that, you know, the Christians had their
- 17:50traditions and they didn't want to keep heathen things.
- 17:54They didn't want to try to reclaim them as, as Christian
- 17:57because they already had their traditions.
- 17:58They already had their their stuff.
- 18:01So they didn't want anything heathen or Pagan, whatever you
- 18:04want to call it in the church. They wanted it eradicated.
- 18:06Very, very clearly. There were laws that were
- 18:09established in Saxony and in other places that said if you do
- 18:14these heathen things and you will die, we will kill you.
- 18:17Corvus Spades, what's up? Says you cannot move forward
- 18:21until you put everything to rest.
- 18:23That's right brother, Good to see you.
- 18:25Thank you for commenting that and I'm glad to to see that you
- 18:28joined the live stream brother. I love you man, but you're
- 18:32right, you know you can't make way for the new until you've set
- 18:37things. That are old to rest.
- 18:39It's part of the process. I'll be right back to your
- 18:45question, though, Patrick Bradley says we just have have a
- 18:48bonfire and BBQ to bring the fall sometimes and give
- 18:51ancestral offerings and whatnot and just a tradition of ours
- 18:57part of our hearth cult. That's beautiful.
- 18:59Hearth cult is paramount in heathen beliefs.
- 19:02You know, I, I've talked about that before is, is that, you
- 19:05know, if you're going to be looking up sources and books and
- 19:08how you know when to bloat and when the holidays were and all
- 19:10that, that's, that's all well and good, but, you know, have
- 19:12you first yet? Do you know what hearth cult is?
- 19:14If you establish your hearth cult, are you living those
- 19:18things out day-to-day 'cause that's what that's what's
- 19:20important. There's, that's absolutely
- 19:24important. So sorry.
- 19:26Going back to Patrick's question, yeah, it can be tricky
- 19:28trying to celebrate our traditions around the same times
- 19:32as others, even still a special and unique time for all.
- 19:35Yeah. And you know, and look, if if
- 19:36your hearth cult means that you do something on the autumnal
- 19:39equinox or if you have family get togethers or barbecues or
- 19:44whatever it is, then rock on with it.
- 19:49No, no, no harm, no foul. I just, you know, again, I, I
- 19:52always go back to like, like, OK, if, if it's, it's, if you
- 19:55want to say what it is and then try to claim that it's heathen,
- 19:58like, like I was saying before, where people are like, ah, the
- 20:00autumnal equinox, also known as house bloat.
- 20:03Nope, not true. Factually incorrect.
- 20:08Love you too, brother. Love you 2 homes in my own time
- 20:11this year, we have been putting things where they need to be in
- 20:14the past and finally look forward.
- 20:16It's a beautiful thing, you know, and it's, it's, it's
- 20:19cathartic. It's, it's, it's good for the,
- 20:21it's good for the soul Manta to be able to lay things to rest
- 20:25and then move forward from it, right?
- 20:26Not having to stick with things that just don't serve their
- 20:30purpose anymore. They, they've, they've served
- 20:32their purpose. Thought my logo was a chat
- 20:36bubble. No, no, it's not.
- 20:41Could be maybe one day, who knows?
- 20:46Much peace, you know, and that's the other thing too, about this
- 20:49time of year as, as, as we talk about, you know, putting things
- 20:52to rest and then moving to a time of, of stillness right
- 20:56from, from autumn leaves into winter.
- 20:58This in this part of the country, at least what winter we
- 21:01have down here in the South. I say winter, but I, I use the
- 21:04term loosely. It's more like a, a chilly
- 21:06autumn. But point being is that it's a
- 21:14time of stillness. It's a time of calm.
- 21:16It's a time of rest. All the things that are usually
- 21:19hopping, hopping and happening and hopping.
- 21:22And, you know, in the spring and the summer, all the animals and
- 21:24then everything they did, they did become more dormant and they
- 21:28become less active. And we can take, we can take
- 21:31lessons from nature on so many things like, and I know for, for
- 21:37for me and our tribe, next month, towards the end of the
- 21:41month is, is when we'll be observing our winter nights.
- 21:45And for the Norse, for the dramatic people's, you know,
- 21:48winter nights was the onset, the beginning of their winter when
- 21:53in the north, you know, winter was, was, was a brutal time of
- 21:57year. It's, you know, you didn't go
- 21:58raiding, you didn't go to war. You obviously couldn't, you
- 22:02know, have your, your, your crops or anything like that
- 22:06growing. Everything was under feet and
- 22:09feet of snow or ice. So you had to survive, you had
- 22:12to stay inside, you had to stay warm.
- 22:14You had to accumulate everything that you needed as much as you
- 22:17possibly could to get you through the winter.
- 22:22So it's a lesson of, you know, the industriousness of being
- 22:28able to know how much is enough in your times of plenty so that
- 22:32you can keep a surplus in times of leanness.
- 22:36You know, we don't have that so much going on nowadays.
- 22:39Not many people are living that far off the grid or in that sort
- 22:42of a homesteading lifestyle that would, you know, cause them to
- 22:47think in those ways. But I try to think, you know,
- 22:50it's, it's a time of, of going inward, you know, inward with
- 22:55your families, inward with your clans, your hearts, your, your
- 22:59kindreds, your tribes perhaps. And that's what this time of
- 23:03year sort of signifies for me. I apologize for those.
- 23:08If you're watching on the live stream, I definitely notice like
- 23:11a lag in what I'm saying and, and how it appears on screen.
- 23:16I am very glad to be moving off of this service that I'm using
- 23:21this week because they are, they are hiking up my bill 50% after
- 23:28a recent business acquisition. And just don't play like that.
- 23:31Just you don't, don't, don't play like that when you're going
- 23:33to give me this crap and then try to charge me double for it.
- 23:37Yeah. Reflection time and planning for
- 23:39the new beginning of the birth and spring.
- 23:42Sure. You know, the days get shorter,
- 23:45the nights get longer and colder.
- 23:48Those hearth fires, you got to keep them fires stoked.
- 23:51You know, got to keep those fires going, keep those embers
- 23:55glowing. It's definitely a time of year
- 24:02of introspection. There was one thing I was also
- 24:07looking at, not related to this, but a topic that I saw
- 24:12somewhere. Y'all feel free to just drop
- 24:15another one in the below comments if you're if you're
- 24:18thinking of it, because I was looking for something.
- 24:26I guess it's one of those things where I don't have it visible.
- 24:31It was something to do with yeah, whatever David Klein says
- 24:40Yeah, it was good at seeing you heading into work.
- 24:43Blessings, my friend. Well, blessings to you, David.
- 24:45Have a good night at work and a good day ahead.
- 24:54How does this try and see because I know I'm not in this
- 25:03space that I am looking for it. I am looking for a group that I
- 25:08was invited to. That I saw.
- 25:11Something posted, you know, like you can go to Facebook and if
- 25:14you were invited to a invited to a group, you can see it for so
- 25:21many days unless you decide to join.
- 25:23And I'm like in that sort of and that sort of thing where I can
- 25:33see certain things, but Nick can't comment about it.
- 25:38The loss, what is it? I think I'm getting close.
- 25:43I think I'm. I don't know.
- 25:53Doing a search I found it. I found it guys.
- 25:57All right, I'm not going to say where the post is at because it
- 26:04is a private group and I don't want to infringe upon anybody's
- 26:09privacy that doesn't want it to be shared.
- 26:14But here's a, here's a recent thing that I thought would be a
- 26:16good thing for discussion. So the post says that in
- 26:21paganism again here a term that is kind of an umbrella term, but
- 26:28or also makes mentions of things of a heathen nature.
- 26:30But it's sort of philosophical. And and but touches more on like
- 26:34a heathen heathen mentions of heathen heathen things.
- 26:41So anyways it says in paganism sins are something not
- 26:45recognized. But I would post, I would
- 26:50position that there is indeed one sin that should be
- 26:53considered the sin of ignorance. Odin is a God of wisdom, among
- 27:00other things. But I think it's important to
- 27:02note. By the way, these are not my
- 27:05words, I'm just reading them off of a post I saw.
- 27:09But he said, I think. I think that it's important to
- 27:11note that we're talking about a God who sacrificed himself on
- 27:13Igor Seal's branches for 9 days and nights just to gain the
- 27:17knowledge of the runes. Now imagine having a bunch of
- 27:20folks. Worship you, the God of wisdom.
- 27:23That aren't willing to sacrifice time to read a book.
- 27:28Why is it important to keep ignorance at Bay?
- 27:31Mainly because when you discuss that either you are for or
- 27:34against, you need to back up your assertations or sorry your
- 27:38assertions with reason and not simply quote UN quote feelings,
- 27:42hating or supporting something. Because you quote feel it is
- 27:47right doesn't matter. Communist and National Socialist
- 27:51feel that their beliefs are valid.
- 27:54But reasons stated to differ are the subject.
- 27:57On the subject at hand, you would also find that the two
- 28:00aforementioned groups probably haven't bothered looking beyond
- 28:03their own points of view. Has the communist bothered
- 28:08reading anything by Adam Smith or Ayn Rand?
- 28:13Maybe some have, but a majority would probably say they've read
- 28:18the entire Dusk Capital or some Hegelian philosophical work and
- 28:25the Nazi probably hasn't read anything beyond Mein Kampf.
- 28:30The the charge the change happens when some racist are
- 28:33forced to question their beliefs and look outside of their own
- 28:35quote UN quote feelings that they realize their own
- 28:38ignorance, as in the case of a black man named Darrell Davis
- 28:43who had the courage to talk to tons of clans members and
- 28:47convert roughly 200 clan members away from their beliefs.
- 28:51Solid guy. If you've never heard of Darrell
- 28:54Davis, look him up. Once ignorance is destroyed and
- 28:58the veil of illusion lifted, that's when we grow, whether
- 29:02personally or spiritually. It takes looking within and
- 29:06questioning your beliefs and then moving on to reading or
- 29:10listening to other points of views.
- 29:13That's when we truly flourish as human beings.
- 29:21So let me see what you got here, Corvus, the most Pagan, non
- 29:26Pagan view. It is truly said old ways are
- 29:30outcasted, but old ways made this new idea old ways, right?
- 29:35They did. Knowledge is true power.
- 29:38You know, I think that knowledge can be sometimes the thing that
- 29:42really like this post here that I was just reading, you know,
- 29:47gives us the illusion of things because our knowledge, our
- 29:51beliefs, what we know, right? It, it can sometimes blind us
- 29:58and, and, but knowledge, you know, knowing one thing doesn't
- 30:01mean that you're ignorant and and being ignorant doesn't mean
- 30:04that you don't have any knowledge.
- 30:05You could be very knowledgeable. Of something and your ignorance
- 30:08could still show through because you're you're you're you're
- 30:11narrow minded there you're not giving any room for for growth
- 30:14you. Know, and I'm not saying that.
- 30:19You need to believe everything and anything.
- 30:22What I'm saying is is that you know, find your belief, find
- 30:24your convictions, stand true in them, and be ready to be
- 30:27challenged along the way. And if the challenges that come
- 30:31up objectively prove your train of thought or your way of
- 30:36thought to be false or or incorrect or or out of line,
- 30:41then you should be mature enough.
- 30:43You should be ready to. Make those adjustments, make
- 30:48those course corrections when and as necessary.
- 30:52What's up there? Northern Forest Godfrey Baer.
- 30:54Long time no see, my friend. Thank you for commenting.
- 30:56Thank you for tuning in. This is a live stream, but it's
- 30:58going to become the podcast episode for this week on random
- 31:01heathen rambling. So the folks that have list that
- 31:03will be listening to this later on that catch it after the fact,
- 31:07you know you can, you can re listen it, re listen to it on
- 31:11all the audio platforms. But these will be recurring,
- 31:15right? I'm going to be doing these
- 31:17monthly live broadcasts, you know, about once a month on a
- 31:21Monday. Probably I'll try to pick the
- 31:23same Monday every month. So whether it's the second,
- 31:25first, third, whatever Monday of every month, it'll be something
- 31:29like that. The way all of you folks out
- 31:31here that are watching it now or listening later know what's
- 31:35going on. And you can, if you want to plan
- 31:37for it, always search. Yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's
- 31:42ongoing, right? It, it's never, I, I mean, I've,
- 31:44I've, I've, I've picked the path to follow.
- 31:49And, and when I got on this path, it was, I was, you know,
- 31:53following in a, in a certain direction.
- 31:54And then as I progress along and there are things that I've, you
- 31:58know, learned or I've, I've come across that have given me reason
- 32:01to kind of go off the path just a bit, go searching for things.
- 32:08And you know, you're going to find a lot of stuff off the
- 32:15beaten path. If you just stay on that, If you
- 32:17just stay on the path and you just stay on the road, you don't
- 32:20go off the exit, you don't go traveling, you don't go
- 32:22searching, you're not going to learn.
- 32:23Anything you're just going to know, right?
- 32:24I got. I got.
- 32:25From point A to point B, and that's all you're going to know.
- 32:27You're not going to know all of the other shortcuts, You're not
- 32:29going to know all the other trails.
- 32:30You're not going to know all the other amazing things that are
- 32:33out there for you to learn. Hope all is well with you and
- 32:37the lady of the house. We are doing rather well Sir.
- 32:40Thank you very much for asking and hope for yours for you and
- 32:43yours up there in the north that you are doing well.
- 32:46Also. I know since you're further up
- 32:49there you're you're winter months.
- 32:51Are going to start a little bit before ours.
- 32:53We were just talking about the autumnal equinox being this
- 32:56weekend kind of ushering in fall or autumn.
- 33:01Although here in Tennessee, autumn is is sort of a sort of a
- 33:05joke, I gotta say. Like it doesn't, at least in
- 33:07this part of Middle Tennessee, it doesn't, it doesn't.
- 33:16It's more like second summer. So, but we'll get what we can,
- 33:22you know, we'll get what we can take.
- 33:25And the other thing that I was thinking of too, right, like in
- 33:27is, is in this post about where, where the person says that, you
- 33:31know, paganism sins are something not recognized.
- 33:36It also takes into, yeah, it also got to take into
- 33:38consideration the interesting thing about what sin means in a
- 33:41heathen context. This is a heathen podcast, so we
- 33:43can talk about that. You know, sin in in the heathen
- 33:50context is, is your, is the, is the ill deeds that are done that
- 33:55can impact luck. You know, unlike in the any
- 33:59Christian context where sin is this sort of breaking of divine
- 34:02law, there is some things about that that kind of get
- 34:08intertwined into heathenry. When I say divine law, is that
- 34:11the difference with that, with what divine law in heathenry is
- 34:14versus what divine law is in like Christianity or any like
- 34:18monotheistic, is that the divine law doesn't come in heathenry,
- 34:21doesn't come from the gods, doesn't come from divinity,
- 34:24doesn't come from deity. It comes from the the law and
- 34:28the order in the structure of the tribe, of the people.
- 34:32And so, So what is good for the tribe, what is good for the
- 34:37people is considered lawful. And so abiding by those said
- 34:42thus those customs deems the person doing them to be good,
- 34:48deems them to be lawful. And those who are not abiding by
- 34:52those laws and not doing those things are then deemed, as you
- 34:56know, evil. Or criminal or outlaw, and
- 34:59therefore in sin. So it means a different thing in
- 35:04the in the heathen context, but the fact is that it exists to
- 35:08such a degree. So I just wanted to throw that
- 35:10out there. Dragon Alchemist says anyone
- 35:13who's in far north. The Northern Lights are dancing
- 35:17even with the almost full moon. Beautiful.
- 35:20I got the chance to, in a sort of way, see the Northern Lights
- 35:25earlier this summer. They had reached the Aurora
- 35:28borealis. There was a, there was, you
- 35:30know, a solar flare that had reached far enough South into
- 35:33the portion of Tennessee where I am located.
- 35:36They weren't vibrant to the naked eye like you had a look at
- 35:39them through. A lot of people had, you know,
- 35:42their their phones and stuff that they were looking at them
- 35:43through. But they were definitely
- 35:46visible. And I mean, what talk about an
- 35:50unheard of occurrence to have that happen this far South.
- 35:56I, you know, I don't know if I'll ever see it again here, you
- 36:00know, but I would definitely like to go.
- 36:01Farther. North, to see them, you know,
- 36:05Alaska maybe or even northern Europe into Canada, et cetera.
- 36:10It's one of my things that I would love to.
- 36:12Do and see them in the winter time course, Spade says.
- 36:17This idea, an idea that I have personally held dear, is that
- 36:20when one finds everything they are to know in this physical
- 36:24life. We graduate into the true
- 36:29adventure. Yeah, it's like a level.
- 36:32Up man, you know, and and who's to say you know what every,
- 36:35everything that there is to know.
- 36:36I think there there's so much out there that even as much as
- 36:38we can learn and as much as we can absorb in our short time,
- 36:41our short relative time. Here, in this version of
- 36:44ourselves, before we advance, before we move on to the next
- 36:49stage of existence, because again, even heathens don't think
- 36:53that death is the end. Death is is a is a, is a
- 36:55continuation of life. There is a existence beyond
- 37:00physical, fleshly body life that heathens believes are are.
- 37:06You know you are. No, you're no less alive.
- 37:08You are just alive in a different way.
- 37:11But that even in this limited time that we have in this
- 37:13physical form, the things that we can learn and absorb are, is
- 37:16are is only so much it it's we, we can't possibly absorb at all.
- 37:20And then, yeah, once you've reached that point where it's
- 37:23got a level up now, you can't, you can't use this sword until
- 37:26you've levelled up. You can't, you know, use this
- 37:28spell until you've until you're level 50 or whatever.
- 37:31It's like a level up process in a way.
- 37:35Probably nerdy gamers out there. Not N enough for the lights, but
- 37:40all all too quiet and well in the forest edge of the of the
- 37:43great legs Great Lakes. I'm gonna say yeah, I said great
- 37:46legs. Well, legs are great too.
- 37:50No hate only participate modern day went all the way to South
- 37:55Florida. Yeah.
- 37:56I I mean, it's crazy. Mother's Day.
- 37:59Sorry. Mother's Day.
- 37:59It was it was that was around the time I think that it was
- 38:03this far out. You know, far South into.
- 38:06To see reports of it reaching that far into the South, it's
- 38:09like they're not even the southern, they're not even the
- 38:11Northern Lights anymore. It's it's the northern.
- 38:13The Northern Lights are the Southern lights.
- 38:15I'll get it right, guys. I know my directions.
- 38:17I promise. Yeah.
- 38:21It is a way to look at death, right?
- 38:22It's it, it's, it's not the end. Well, you know, it's not the
- 38:29ultimate end. It's it's the it's a.
- 38:33It's a continuation, it's the next stage, it's the next step.
- 38:40And Corvus also says another way.
- 38:41When you're when you're sleeping, dreams.
- 38:45Are they ads of death until you get there?
- 38:51Ads of death like a preview? Like coming soon to a coffin
- 38:56near you? There you go.
- 39:00Coming soon to a burial mound near you, your death starring
- 39:04you. It could be one way of looking
- 39:12at it. I myself am not.
- 39:16You know, it's and it's such a touchy thing to talk about to a
- 39:18lot for a lot of people. You know, I love to talk about
- 39:23it and I love to talk with people who are not afraid to
- 39:27talk about it either, you know, talk about death.
- 39:31But it does. It does, you know, trigger a lot
- 39:34of people just because it's, you know, it's there's for people
- 39:36that just maybe haven't woken up yet or, or, or reached a point
- 39:40in their life to, to not fear it.
- 39:43It there is so much ominence about it to some folks.
- 39:46You know, they, they, they, they just don't know.
- 39:49Oh, Corvus Spade. No, like the ads on Amazon or
- 39:52HBO Max. Yeah, that's a, an
- 39:56advertisement. Yeah.
- 39:57So are your dreams ads of death until you get there?
- 40:03I don't know, man, I've had some pretty, pretty vivid dreams that
- 40:08if, if, if, if it was an ad like you would see on like a like a
- 40:14movie streaming site or network or whatever, then I would say
- 40:17that's I'll be like, let me talk to the production.
- 40:19Studio who did this? All right, I'm the production
- 40:21studio. I'm the one that came up with
- 40:24this stuff. All right.
- 40:27And then you got to analyze or, or you know, you can, you can
- 40:31dream interpretations. That's always fun.
- 40:33I've had a I've had somebody on this podcast a couple of times
- 40:37who is a, is a dream wizard, calls himself and has been
- 40:44called by the public. He's he's, he's he's done a lot
- 40:48of book research. He's he's, but he's also written
- 40:51a lot of books and he also has a lot of experience interpreting
- 40:56dreams and he has people, he has a show.
- 40:58He's his name is Benjamin, the dream wizard, Benjamin the dream
- 41:02wizard Davidson, I believe. But yeah, he does.
- 41:06He does dream interpretations live on his on his podcast and
- 41:11he does some other things too. Not dream related, but it's it's
- 41:13it's quite interesting to hear and and watch him work and
- 41:16listen to him work and as. The person who experienced the
- 41:19dream, you know, you're, you're telling these dreams to him and
- 41:22he retells some some things about it.
- 41:24He wants to know, maybe more details like, OK, you said you
- 41:27were standing in a hallway. Were there any windows in the
- 41:31hallway or what time of day was it?
- 41:33Could you see anything like various things that you wouldn't
- 41:36think were important? But then when you start
- 41:38recalling the dream, you are you are amazed like, oh, yeah, I do
- 41:43remember there was a window to my left.
- 41:46Whatever. And all those all those little
- 41:48seemingly insignificant details can sometimes play a factor in
- 41:53in how the dream is is interpreted by Ben.
- 41:57At least I don't know how everybody you know else does it,
- 42:00but that's his methodology. And he's again, he's he's he's
- 42:03well read. He's well educated on on
- 42:08dreamology or whatever the science of it is, study of it is
- 42:11life truly is a dream on the way to death, says Corvus Spade on
- 42:16Facebook. Yeah, right.
- 42:19Like, are we just all going through this?
- 42:22Are we all just going through this dream and then, you know,
- 42:26when we're asleep in our in our sleep state, are we, are we
- 42:28seeing things that are glimpses of the reality and all the rest
- 42:33of this nonsense that we're going through was just the
- 42:35dream? I don't know enough about that
- 42:39to say one way or the other, but you might could say it's a
- 42:45possibility. Also, while I'm, while I'm here
- 42:51and while I'm in the middle of comments, I do want to run a
- 42:54couple of quick promo videos. They're only like 30 seconds to
- 42:58a minute long for the Fire on the Mountain Men's Spiritual
- 43:02Retreat and Leadership Summit. We do have a couple of more
- 43:06sponsors that I need to to share information on.
- 43:08So don't go anywhere folks. We're still going to be running,
- 43:11but we are going to hear a quick word from a couple of our
- 43:14sponsors for Fire on the Mountain this year and then I'll

- 45:46whatever it is. Yeah.
- 45:49Oh, the odds or the ads? The ads are the odds.
- 45:51Yeah, The odds are the ads. And maybe the ads are odd, Odd
- 45:56ads indeed. Corpus Spade Godfrey Bear says
- 46:00that death isn't the end. It's the beginning of
- 46:03understanding all things. Yeah.
- 46:04You're not limited anymore, right.
- 46:05It's, you know, you get a bit of a taste of that in some altered
- 46:10states of consciousness, whether it be through incorporations of
- 46:14plant medicine or sound therapy or auditory sense deprivation,
- 46:19right, Sound chamber deprivation.
- 46:21I know there's, there's this thing I saw, I think it's up in,
- 46:26it's in the Pacific Northwest. I think somewhere maybe Oregon
- 46:29or Washington or or maybe California, I forget where, but
- 46:32there's a, there's a, there's a, there's a thing where you can go
- 46:37and like get yourself kind of you're deprived of light, you're
- 46:43deprived of sound for, for I forget how many days.
- 46:49So you're in this like dark underground room and it's
- 46:52supposed to, you know, really, I think it's like a week long
- 46:57thing that you sign up for to do it.
- 46:59It can be really therapeutic. Makes me think about maybe
- 47:04trying it out one day. You learn anything you need to
- 47:10know for here. And that is the transition,
- 47:13right? Corvus Spade.
- 47:16Deprivation tank. Thank you.
- 47:18Deprivation tanks. Yeah, there are those.
- 47:20But then again, there's this, this thing a buddy of mine sent
- 47:22me information on a while back about like, it's not a tank.
- 47:24It's like a small Hut or whatever.
- 47:27That's like dugout into the side of a mountain.
- 47:31You go in and down and you're, you're, you're sealed off.
- 47:34Obviously you have air coming into you have air supply.
- 47:36You're not, you know, but you don't see the light of day or
- 47:42like a week or something like that.
- 47:43Five days, seven days, I believe it is.
- 47:46They bring you your meals. You go to a, you know, a place
- 47:50to, to get them your food and your water and they and, and all
- 47:53that. But it's like you're.
- 47:56You're here. You're you're away from.
- 47:57Everything and everyone. No light, no sound.
- 48:04Yeah, sensory deprivation is not an uncommon thing.
- 48:07Like, I know that they exist in in other places, but the Corvus
- 48:11Bates says there's one here in in Tennessee.
- 48:14I forget exactly where might be up in this area.
- 48:17Dragon Alchemist says they want they want to try a sensory
- 48:20deprivation tank so bad. And I heard that they are
- 48:22amazing. Yeah.
- 48:23Again, I, I got intrigued really, really, really heavily
- 48:28about that thing. It's a big jump.
- 48:30You know, I think I would probably, and I wouldn't
- 48:31recommend anybody just jump in head first into so, you know, a
- 48:34week long sensory deprivation room or, or space that could
- 48:39really, that could do that could do some opposite things, but
- 48:42maybe do like a, a sensory deprivation tank and, and see
- 48:45how it makes you feel. It's almost like telling
- 48:48somebody like, you know, Oh yeah, here's some mushrooms,
- 48:50right? And then you just give them like
- 48:518G and then rewire their whole motherboard.
- 48:54Like, whoops. I meant to do that.
- 48:58Yeah, sure. If you can handle the sound of
- 49:01your breathing and heartbeat at full volume, go nuts.
- 49:04Yeah. And that's, that's what I heard
- 49:05happens, right. Like, because you're deprived of
- 49:07this, the sound of things like literally everything about you,
- 49:10you're so in tune to, to everything.
- 49:12Like you almost, you almost can hear like your hair growing and,
- 49:15and I've heard some things like that.
- 49:17But yeah, like your breath is, is amplified, your heartbeat,
- 49:19your, you know, all of that. It is.
- 49:23It's got to be intense. Yeah, it's the only noise.
- 49:27Godfrey Baird. Good point.
- 49:33Modern Hermitage. I wouldn't mind being in a Hut.
- 49:36K4 week. Hermitage is actually funny that
- 49:38you say that. Dragon Alchemist.
- 49:39Because Hermitage is the name of the city where buddy of mine
- 49:45lives. My boss lives up there too.
- 49:48But it's a city in Tennessee. Called Hermitage.
- 49:50So fun fact. A Hermitage in Hermitage,
- 49:55perhaps there's a movie based on the research, but of course with
- 50:00theatrical quips. Altered states, Corvus Spade,
- 50:04Altered States. Jamie, pull that up.
- 50:15I wish I had a Jamie here to tell me about it.
- 50:19Altered States is a 1980 American science fiction horror
- 50:23film directed by Ken Russell and adapted by playwright and
- 50:27screenwrite Patty Chayefsky. Maybe that's right from his 1978
- 50:32novel of the same name. The novel in the film are based
- 50:36in part on John C Lilly's sensory deprivation research
- 50:40conducted in isolation tanks under the influence of
- 50:42psychoactive drugs like mescaline, ketamine and LSD.
- 50:48And the film features elements of both psychological horror and
- 50:50body horror. Sounds intense.
- 50:52I mean, dude, not just the sensory deprivation tank, but
- 50:58then add to it the the presence of hallucinogen and
- 51:03hallucinogens, psychoactive components, things like they
- 51:07were talking about, you know, whether it be psilocybin, LSD,
- 51:12you know, ketamine, mescaline, ayahuasca, even probably, I
- 51:18don't know, like that would be boy, you want to talk about, you
- 51:21want to talk about really fixing the situation.
- 51:30That would do it. That would certainly do it.
- 51:33I'm have to check that out. I'm have to look into seeing
- 51:34where I can watch that movie because now my interest has been
- 51:38piqued. I like some of those old horror
- 51:42type stuff. It's just you and your mind,
- 51:49right. But the, yeah, like with, with
- 51:51the, with the presence of those psychoactive elements, It, it,
- 52:00it, it, it brings that up front, you know, it's, it's not
- 52:04something that you can't think about anymore.
- 52:05It's not something that you can ignore anymore.
- 52:06It's all right. I'm here.
- 52:09Let's go, let's talk. OK, Corvus has.
- 52:14All right, buddy, I'm gonna need to get a maybe rent that from
- 52:17you. I can borrow it.
- 52:18Cool. Thank you, man.
- 52:20I will definitely hit you up at some point.
- 52:26Godfrey Bear says every story that they have heard about
- 52:30mushrooms and deprivation tanks. And badly.
- 52:35You know, I don't know if I've heard any stories about it.
- 52:39I know of, I wouldn't say that's like deprivation tanks.
- 52:42I know of people that have taken heroic doses of mushrooms and
- 52:48I've isolated themselves in a dark room, closed the windows,
- 52:52you know, drew the shades and everything and made it as, made
- 52:56it as dark and as silent as they possibly could for the duration.
- 53:05And they're OK. I mean, they made it through it.
- 53:09Granted, it was a, when I say, you know, a heroic dose, I'm
- 53:12talking like upwards of 6g or more of, of psilocybin.
- 53:20And I've not done that. I mean, I've taken that much,
- 53:24but I've not done that in the context of, of isolating myself
- 53:27away. The closest thing that I can say
- 53:29I probably came to that was being out in the woods by myself
- 53:34with nobody else. That was a sort of a journey of
- 53:41my own that I needed to take and, and more ways than one, it
- 53:46was a hike, a literal physical journey.
- 53:50And then the overnight camp was a journey amongst the stars,
- 53:57amongst the gods, amongst nature that, you know, the mushrooms
- 54:01aided in. And that was, that was in its
- 54:03own way, a bit terrifying. Dragon Alchemist says they've
- 54:08been blindfolded and and occurred while on on mushrooms.
- 54:17A deprivation tank wouldn't definitely be next level.
- 54:19Yeah, yeah. I, you know, I, I won't say that
- 54:23I would never do it, but man, it, it's like, it's one of those
- 54:29things where, you know, you say be ready for that.
- 54:35Like we gonna be ready for you don't know what's gonna happen.
- 54:38It's gonna be wild, though. Corvis says this one does, too.
- 54:43Yep. I know you do, buddy.
- 54:46Maybe one day we'll do it together.
- 54:53Godfrey Bear And by the way, everybody, thank you for coming
- 54:55in and watching this live stream and sharing this.
- 54:58I know for the folks listening to this afterwards, it's gonna
- 55:00be a little bit different 'cause I'm not having conversations
- 55:02with people in the real like back and forth sense.
- 55:04I'm reading comments and sharing them on screens.
- 55:06But I do wanna say for the folks that have tuned in today,
- 55:09everybody, thank you so much for for commenting on the live
- 55:12stream and, and giving us some things to talk about.
- 55:15Godfrey Bear says that a couple heroic doses couple bottles of
- 55:19of of Mead and some herb now we're getting to now we're going
- 55:23to get wild. I look I I I have yes can
- 55:30confirm I'll just I'll just say that much.
- 55:32I can confirm. So hello to you there.
- 55:34Cat Shepard commented here on the on YouTube says that when I
- 55:38take shrooms, I have to separate myself because they expand all
- 55:42of my senses out 10 times. Yeah, yeah.
- 55:46That's the beauty of it. I've done them with close
- 55:50people, close friends of mine, brothers, and I've done that by
- 55:54myself. I always feel like the the time
- 55:59spent alone with that medicine does wonders.
- 56:05It's also really profound with the company within the company
- 56:08of the right people. You know, you start messing
- 56:12around and it becomes like a party or whatever.
- 56:14I mean, that's not why I do what I do with them.
- 56:16It's it's it's to me they're not a party to me that they're
- 56:18medicine. Game for a deep game, game for a
- 56:23deprivation tank, says Corvus Spade.
- 56:26You can make one with a ton of salt.
- 56:28Sure, absolutely. That'll you know, you get enough
- 56:32in there and it'll it'll muffle the sound.
- 56:34It'll create a soundproof area, Kat Shepard says.
- 56:38No joke, I was able to read by Starlight.
- 56:41Someone walked past me, jolted me slightly and felt like an
- 56:46ostrich kicked me. Yeah, those, those, those, man,
- 56:49those, those moments are wild. You know, when you're kind of
- 56:55taken away within the, the, the feelings of of the medicine
- 56:59when, when you're off experiencing something and then
- 57:02something outside of your experience happens.
- 57:04That was like, hold on. What, who, who, what happened
- 57:08there? I didn't, I didn't run that.
- 57:10I didn't do that. What happened right people for
- 57:13sure, right Corvus Spade absolutely got to be the right
- 57:16people. I won't do it in any other
- 57:18contents context. Don't take them to anyone
- 57:23hostile to you. Yeah.
- 57:25And you know what's really wild is is you know you sometimes
- 57:28yourself, sometimes the person, the individual can have deep
- 57:33seated and underlying hostility towards themselves.
- 57:35But the beautiful thing about that medicine is, is, is it, it
- 57:40brings it to a surface and brings it to the forefront in
- 57:44ways that can be, again, quite jarring, quite terrifying,
- 57:46especially when you've never experienced it before.
- 57:50But the process of going through those emotions, going through
- 57:56those feelings of wonderment, those feelings of amazement,
- 57:59those feelings of laughter, sorrow, fear, terror, right?
- 58:03It's, it's so cathartic. It's unlike anything else I've
- 58:10ever it's, it's, it's you know, you can't compare it to a lot of
- 58:14things, if anything, and you can't really relate unless
- 58:16you've done it or experienced it.
- 58:19You can hear people talk about it, and unless you know, you
- 58:24know. Godfrey Bear says if.
- 58:26We're going to medicine and go on a journey.
- 58:29I'm guiding. We're hunting the demons.
- 58:32They're not hunting us. Good point.
- 58:35Good point. Godfrey Bear.
- 58:38I'm gonna come back to that in just a second.
- 58:42Ingesting corvus spaces, ingesting the already connected
- 58:47Organism connects to all. Yeah, Bax, But Godfrey Berry,
- 58:53you said something very interesting I wanted to key in
- 58:55on. Right.
- 58:55We are going hunting for the demons.
- 59:00They're not hunting US. One of the one of the most. 1.
- 59:05Of the most profound experiences I ever had where where that must
- 59:09where that, you know, mushroom the medicine was wasn't was
- 59:11incorporated was a journey to attack and to hunt and to battle
- 59:19this you know. The the, the the.
- 59:21Demons, if you want to call them that.
- 59:22But the the darkness, the, the, the things that tear us apart
- 59:26from the inside, you know, So it was a quest of seeking out these
- 59:32I'll favored baleful entities and spirits.
- 59:37And it was to hunt them down and was to do battle with them and
- 59:39to come out victorious. It was to not let go until you
- 59:43were the victor. And again, it was done under a
- 59:46very controlled and, and, and guided session and or, or, you
- 59:51know, experience. And it was with that in mind and
- 59:57the medicine was paramount and and very much a thing to to
- 1:00:02have. Present to see that through.
- 1:00:07You know, because when you're on under.
- 1:00:09Those you know. When, when you're on the
- 1:00:11medicine and when you're under those influences, it's, you
- 1:00:13know, sometimes you run into things, sometimes you experience
- 1:00:16things that otherwise would have been, you know, left unattended,
- 1:00:22You know, those again, those deep seated, sometimes maybe
- 1:00:26forgotten about ignored forces. And then when you're, when
- 1:00:33you're going out hunting, as you put it, or going to battle, you
- 1:00:39know, equipping yourself with, with, with the weapons necessary
- 1:00:42to, to Vanquish them and, and to emerge victorious, it takes a
- 1:00:47lot out of you. And, and when you come back from
- 1:00:49that, that experience and from that interaction, you know, you
- 1:00:54feel like you've just out, you know, physically, like not so
- 1:01:05much physically exhausted, but spiritually and mentally
- 1:01:09exhausted. I've, I, I remember coming back
- 1:01:14from, from some, from some of those experiences and sitting
- 1:01:18amongst people, sharing in the moment, sharing in the
- 1:01:22experience and just kind of looking at one another and, and
- 1:01:26kind of like nodding or just looking at one another, right.
- 1:01:31No words had to be spoken. There was this UN unspoken
- 1:01:36connection of I know well, I know what you mean.
- 1:01:42I I, I, I know what you mean. I, I know, and that's wild, man.
- 1:01:47When you can connect with another human being, with
- 1:01:49another life, with another force of nature that transcends vocal
- 1:01:56communication, man, it's, it's incredible, Dragon Alchemist
- 1:02:03says. I like to watch myself melt into
- 1:02:07the forest. Never bat, never battled
- 1:02:10anything. I had to.
- 1:02:12Heal the creatures I encountered.
- 1:02:14That can happen too. Really, really finding your
- 1:02:19place in the the menagerie of of of nature, right?
- 1:02:24Everything that is that is that we sometimes neglect because we
- 1:02:28walk under it, we walk by it, we walk over it.
- 1:02:33All of those things are living a life, too, and experiencing
- 1:02:37life, too. And then we come along, blend in
- 1:02:42with it all and become a part of it.
- 1:02:44And next thing you know, we realize, shoot, man, I'm.
- 1:02:48This is me and I am that. We are each other.
- 1:02:55Yeah. Corvus Spade says, you know,
- 1:02:56talking about this brings a question of spirit walkers.
- 1:03:00Absolutely, You know, I know that that different indigenous
- 1:03:06cultures have, you know, medicine men and women that
- 1:03:10facilitate the medicine for for such things, whether it be, you
- 1:03:13know, medicine man, shaman, whatever name you, whatever you
- 1:03:15want to put to it. But that's definitely in the
- 1:03:20same line of discussion is what we're talking about here.
- 1:03:24Godfrey Bear says that I'm the last spirit bearer of my line.
- 1:03:28Most of my Damon are either dead or in cages, fed and sleeping.
- 1:03:39It's good that you still connect with that spirit though, man.
- 1:03:41Not a lot of folks are connected with that.
- 1:03:44I think more people are starting to get awakened to the reality
- 1:03:48of the animistic nature of everything.
- 1:03:52We are even Christians, you know, I've.
- 1:03:56I've seen a lot of, of, of the realization that, you know, you
- 1:04:01sure, they may worship in church, they may go to church.
- 1:04:03They, they, they have a building, they have a Bible,
- 1:04:05they have all of these, you know, things that are about
- 1:04:08them, but they, they understand, you know, they, they, God is in
- 1:04:11the trees, God is in the wind, God is in, and that's atomism.
- 1:04:16And the more people get connected with that reality is,
- 1:04:18is, I think, a beautiful thing. Who cares what the name you put
- 1:04:22to deity? For me, it's, you know,
- 1:04:26Lanvatier or or the gods that are their sacred, you know,
- 1:04:29beyond what we see here. But the the local spirits of the
- 1:04:32land. The spirit exists and
- 1:04:33everything. Guys, bloody Godfrey.
- 1:04:37Paris's bloody spell check typing with pause sucks.
- 1:04:41Dude. You're not the only one.
- 1:04:42Why go the he, he, he does that all the time.
- 1:04:45Hey there, Nathaniel on Facebook.
- 1:04:47Jesse, I'm so glad I could make it.
- 1:04:49Better late than never. Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:04:51You're kind of right in the middle of a of a pre widespread
- 1:04:55net of, of conversation being being talked about here.
- 1:04:57But we've we've kind of landed on a topic of, of, of plant
- 1:05:02medicine and incorporating it into bar beliefs, but also the
- 1:05:05the effects of, of, of it having on each of us.
- 1:05:07We were talking about sensory deprivation chambers and then
- 1:05:10somebody talked about that with the inclusion of, oh, it was a
- 1:05:15it was a movie. It was altered states back in
- 1:05:17like the, the, the 80s right, 1978 novel, but altered states
- 1:05:231980 American science fiction horror film.
- 1:05:27So there was a sensory deprivation research conducted
- 1:05:30in isolation tanks under the influences of psychoactive drugs
- 1:05:35like masculine and Academy and LSD, etcetera.
- 1:05:39Anyway, So that's what we're talking about.
- 1:05:40That's what we're that's what we're, that's what we're
- 1:05:42rambling on about. On this week's episode, Corvus
- 1:05:46Spade has an open question to everyone.
- 1:05:49Jesse, you can disclose the gypsy.
- 1:05:53Well, the gypsy is in the room, and he called himself that.
- 1:05:57Not me. I would never.
- 1:06:00I would never assume so. Yeah, my friend, welcome to the
- 1:06:09Welcome to the show. Godfrey Bears is just an old
- 1:06:13medicine bear. Seen a couple of things.
- 1:06:16Spirits traveled a few places in time, right, Seen some things,
- 1:06:18man, and some stuff. It's awesome, you know, and it's
- 1:06:25the quiet ones that that that have really seen the most.
- 1:06:30I have a platform and I you know, but I don't talk about
- 1:06:32this type of stuff on my platform.
- 1:06:34Most of the time. This is just the kind of a one
- 1:06:36off, which is a one off live stream unless they went off.
- 1:06:39I mean, you know, normally the podcast isn't done in a in a
- 1:06:42live stream format. But here we are.
- 1:06:45We're doing it and doing it and doing it.
- 1:06:48So let's see. We got here from Cat Shepard on
- 1:06:54YouTube. Was raised Catholic, OK?
- 1:06:58And when I was young a priest recognized me for what I am and
- 1:07:01told me it was a gift from God. He was educated in Flagstaff, AZ
- 1:07:10Interesting that you're a Catholic or former raised
- 1:07:13Catholic, don't know, you know, not my business what you are now
- 1:07:16or anything like that. But a good friend of mine,
- 1:07:19Patrick Walsh, he was here earlier.
- 1:07:20He was also baptized into the Catholic Church.
- 1:07:23And, you know, interestingly enough, I, I see a lot of nuance
- 1:07:28and, and syncretism within Catholicism and certain Pagan
- 1:07:34practices. You know, I've said jokingly
- 1:07:40that I think the Catholics are pagans in denial because all of
- 1:07:46the things that are done with mass very like they're, you
- 1:07:49know, Mass is its own ritual. Mass is its own thing.
- 1:07:51I get it. But I've attended Catholic Mass
- 1:07:54before and I'm like, and then I'm, you know, done.
- 1:07:57I've been a part of various Pagan ritual and heathen
- 1:08:01ceremonies and I'm like, wow, there's, there's so much
- 1:08:04syncretism here. Like, granted, Mass is its own
- 1:08:07thing. I'm not trying to compare the
- 1:08:08two, but the, the methodology, the up, the down, the, you know,
- 1:08:11praying to all the Saints. Well, you mean the gods, you
- 1:08:14know, or the this or the that. And it's like there, there's so
- 1:08:15much similarity and nuance shared that makes you go, Why
- 1:08:21don't you just come clean there, buddy?
- 1:08:25Godfrey Bair on YouTube says, when I get down your way and and
- 1:08:28meet me, you'll understand me better.
- 1:08:31I'm a bit of an odd duck. Listen, I think we're all just a
- 1:08:35little bit, we're all, we're all touched a little bit here and
- 1:08:38there, you know what I'm saying? Some of us more than others and,
- 1:08:40and in different ways than others.
- 1:08:41But weirdos are welcome. And I mean weirdos meaning like
- 1:08:46WYRD, the word weird, the and you know, the old Norse weird.
- 1:08:50And it's just like sort of word that kind of means fate, but
- 1:08:54not, you know, there's more to it than than that.
- 1:08:56But the weirdos are welcome here, Cat.
- 1:08:59Shepherd is A1. 100% animist or animist 100% very nice.
- 1:09:05Corvus Spade on Facebook's is when you hold 1 foot in the
- 1:09:09realm of astral and continue to pull yourself back to the living
- 1:09:12for the sake of guiding. Where do you truly live?
- 1:09:22You live in between. You live in this sort of in
- 1:09:24between space. I think, and this is just my
- 1:09:26personal view on it, You, you, you exist, you know, to say
- 1:09:35where you live. I mean this, this could be a,
- 1:09:37this could be a nod to the, to the comment you made, you made
- 1:09:39earlier, Corvus, with regards to the gypsy, you know, and this,
- 1:09:43this non nomadic lifestyle of, of the gypsies being known to
- 1:09:51not have a place that they would call home.
- 1:09:55And so in a sort of metaphysical way, you are in that way a
- 1:10:01traveler. You know, you're here
- 1:10:04temporarily there temporarily, never in one place for very long
- 1:10:08at one point in time, you know, So where you live is is where
- 1:10:12you land for them for the time, I guess would be my answer.
- 1:10:17I don't know. Just off the cuff.
- 1:10:21Yeah. Godfrey Beres also says raised
- 1:10:23Roman Catholic and was an altar boy.
- 1:10:25So I'm definitely a bit off. Oh, no.
- 1:10:29Oh, no. Oh, man, there's Corvus with the
- 1:10:33comment to God forbid says, well, come on down and you will
- 1:10:36find you will fit in just fine. And I'll say you will not meet
- 1:10:40me, but you will experience me. Yeah, man, let me tell you,
- 1:10:44Corvus, Corvus Spade here in the comments, everybody.
- 1:10:47And for those listening later on that are listening to this and
- 1:10:50not watching the comments, this guy, he made a comment earlier
- 1:10:54talking about, you know, the most Pagan, non Pagan out there.
- 1:10:58This guy, I've, I've said it to the, the most heathen, non
- 1:11:01heathen that I know. He, there's so many worldview
- 1:11:04values and things that we share. I've known this man since since
- 1:11:11early 2016, you know, so we've known each other for a hot
- 1:11:15minute, not almost nine years. It'll be 9 years.
- 1:11:18I think in February of 2025, I think it'll be 9 years.
- 1:11:21So we've known each other for a good bit and we've, we used to
- 1:11:26work together. We've had a lot of, we've had a
- 1:11:31lot of experiences together and he's been a really trusted
- 1:11:34confidant and he's been a, he's a, he's a brother to me.
- 1:11:37Like you guys talk, you know, hear me talk about kinship from
- 1:11:43a heathen worldview. My heathen worldview is, as you
- 1:11:45know, I don't bestow titles of kinship on people loosely or
- 1:11:49lightly. People want to call me brother
- 1:11:51and they don't know me. I'm not going to reciprocate.
- 1:11:54I'm not going to say brother back.
- 1:11:55I'm not going to get all up in arms and mad about it.
- 1:11:57But I also don't throw the term out loosely.
- 1:12:00This guy, Corvus, though, he is my brother.
- 1:12:05And we may not be related by blood, but we are related.
- 1:12:09We have. We have done enough with each
- 1:12:13other to to prove one another that if if push comes to shove,
- 1:12:17when push comes to shove, we're there for one another.
- 1:12:22Godfrey Bear says you live in both worlds at all the time.
- 1:12:26You can just cross the veil at will.
- 1:12:29Yeah, like I said, you know, you're in in both places.
- 1:12:32Maybe not at once. Yep.
- 1:12:33February 2025. Nine years.
- 1:12:35Man. Godfrey Bear's very cool.
- 1:12:41Corvus. I've always told people I'm
- 1:12:43Bear. Anyone else named Bear is very
- 1:12:47cute. Argothy, you know, is a very
- 1:12:51animistic fella and he embodies the spirit of the bear, amongst
- 1:12:58other things, you know, so our our our go, the our tribes go.
- 1:13:03The currently is a, you know, again, carries within the spirit
- 1:13:08of the bear, and I am am am enjoying the spirit of the bear
- 1:13:13as I sit here for those. So for those of you watching, my
- 1:13:16background's a little bit blurred just for privacy
- 1:13:18reasons, but I've got a bear fur, a full bodied, bare, full
- 1:13:22head to toe, claws and all. The only thing that's not on it
- 1:13:26are the eyes and the teeth. So, but I mean, it's, it's
- 1:13:28essentially, it's like a bear skin of a, of a juvenile,
- 1:13:32juvenile brown bear I just recently acquired.
- 1:13:36So the spirit of the bear is, is welcoming, it's powerful, it's
- 1:13:41strong, it's loving. And like Korvis is, yeah, he's
- 1:13:45a, he's a, he is a Christian unapologetic about it and, and,
- 1:13:50and wonderful thing, right? Like he's, he's the most
- 1:13:54heathen, non heathen I know, but he is also the most non
- 1:13:56Christian Christian that I know, if I can just say that.
- 1:13:59For the record. We've, we've, we've again,
- 1:14:02we've, we've shared enough things with one another that I
- 1:14:05got to say like, wow, if that's the way all Christians were,
- 1:14:08then I think we'd be in a little bit of a better place.
- 1:14:10Or just people in general, you know, like you don't even have
- 1:14:13to tie it to a specific religion or whatever.
- 1:14:18But yeah, we've gone our rounds, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:14:20As brothers. Do you know, there's times when
- 1:14:23he pisses me off and I've pissed him off and we've gone rounds,
- 1:14:25man. Maybe not physically per SE, but
- 1:14:29yeah, we've, we've, we've tussled in the weeds a bit.
- 1:14:34But the, the beauty of it is, is we are here and still on, on
- 1:14:39speaking terms and, and still very much, you know, brothers to
- 1:14:44one another, you know, so when people talk about, you know,
- 1:14:48kinship and it's always, you know, yo brother.
- 1:14:51And and yeah, we, we, we worship the same gods.
- 1:14:54Nah, you don't have to not, you know.
- 1:14:55For for the. For the kinship thing to work,
- 1:14:57you don't even have to necessarily have the same
- 1:15:01religious views and and this is AI think a a a proven point
- 1:15:10corvus faces. Do you want me to do a blind
- 1:15:12reading? I mean fire away, Sir, fire
- 1:15:16away. I give you full permission to to
- 1:15:21do what you do. You can come on the show too,
- 1:15:25man. I mean you don't have to sit
- 1:15:26there. Hop in the comments.
- 1:15:27You're welcome to to hop on the link.
- 1:15:29If you do, just send me a message and I'll get it to you.
- 1:15:32But anyway, dragon alchemist is I have a set of runes I made out
- 1:15:35of black bear rib bones. They have a strong energy,
- 1:15:39beautiful, beautiful. That's amazing.
- 1:15:42I have a set of elk bone, elk rib bone runes that are for our
- 1:15:47tribe. I don't use them for anything
- 1:15:49except tribal affairs. So but the bone rune sets are,
- 1:15:55are a different kind of energy and I can, I can't imagine the
- 1:15:59power, the strength and the, and the that that bare rib bones
- 1:16:03carry with them. That's beautiful.
- 1:16:07Nathaniel on Facebook is saying the fair enough, man, I'm a
- 1:16:10heathen, but I recognize the power and diversity of or
- 1:16:13divinity of Christ. Sorry.
- 1:16:15And he definitely has his hall among the gods of our ancestors.
- 1:16:20Yeah, sure. I mean, look, I, you know, all
- 1:16:22my immediate ancestors were, were were Christian to some
- 1:16:25degree. You know, both my parents who
- 1:16:28died within a year of each other or a little over a year of each
- 1:16:32other. My mom passed away this year, my
- 1:16:33dad last, and then they they both died with their convictions
- 1:16:39and in their in their Christian beliefs.
- 1:16:41And I have no I'll thoughts of that, right.
- 1:16:43I mean, they are my ancestors now and they and then their
- 1:16:47parents were the same, you know, so recognize the power and
- 1:16:52divinity of their God as as nothing wrong with that.
- 1:16:58Nothing wrong with that at all. Godfrey Bear says, well, I don't
- 1:17:04feel like family used as rugs, but everyone has their own way
- 1:17:09and rituals. Yeah, I didn't mean that in like
- 1:17:11a disrespectful way. I meant that like, if you were
- 1:17:13to see the thing laid out, that might be a thing that gets, you
- 1:17:16know, an image that gets conjured in some people's minds
- 1:17:18is when they see a full bear skin, they think, oh, bear rug.
- 1:17:21Yeah, no, this is this is not going on the floor to walk on.
- 1:17:24If I use if I do take it anywhere outside of the house,
- 1:17:27it would be in nature to respect and camp with to lay on to to to
- 1:17:32sleep with. Yeah, but so anyway, so to God
- 1:17:39reverse point to what you were saying, you know, don't like the
- 1:17:41family used as as rugs. I don't and would never I expect
- 1:17:47them. I don't.
- 1:17:48I respect them. I don't have to like it, but I
- 1:17:50will always be respectful. Listen, like I said, this
- 1:17:53bearskin is, is, is on my office chair.
- 1:17:56So it, it has a place of comfort.
- 1:17:58It, it gets to, you know, be here and sort of be present.
- 1:18:02I don't lie it leave it lying on the floor.
- 1:18:05When it came to me in the way that it came to me, it came to
- 1:18:07me in a very respectful way. And I would and it and it was
- 1:18:11done so because the, the, the person who, who gave it to me
- 1:18:16knew that it would be well respected and taken care of with
- 1:18:20me. So I, I, I want to honor that
- 1:18:25arrangement and use it for, you know, the purpose for for, for,
- 1:18:31for it to be seen and appreciated for what it is.
- 1:18:34And for those again, watching and stuff that are noticing the
- 1:18:36lag on the screen. I'm dropping stream yard this
- 1:18:39week because of their shenanigans.
- 1:18:41That's what I'm using. They want to give you all this
- 1:18:44great stuff and then charge a double for it without even
- 1:18:46telling you. So again, apologies for the lag
- 1:18:50in the video. Cat Shepherd says I have a black
- 1:18:53wolf wolfskin that I've had for 35 years, wore her at the last
- 1:18:59Highland ritual at Red rocks. Fantastic.
- 1:19:02That's a beautiful place to, to commemorate and bring that
- 1:19:04spirit to. I, Patrick Walsh, my brother
- 1:19:07here and that was here earlier in the comments.
- 1:19:10He's, he's been to Red rocks twice.
- 1:19:13And I know other people who have been there as well.
- 1:19:14And from what I've heard, it's, it's, it's a magical place.
- 1:19:20Maybe one day I'll get the chance to go to see High Lung,
- 1:19:23but I don't know. Consider yourself blessed for
- 1:19:28having the chance to have been there.
- 1:19:34Yeah. Use rugs as an easy example.
- 1:19:35Godfrey Bear for sure. Yeah.
- 1:19:39I mean, I have, you know, I have other animal skins.
- 1:19:41I have a reindeer. I have a reindeer skin.
- 1:19:47And that was, that was, you know, a, a reindeer from the
- 1:19:54from Fiolvatier, but they get their reindeer skins from
- 1:19:59ethically sourced reindeer herders in northern Finland when
- 1:20:06their ad ran earlier on the show.
- 1:20:09And so I have a reindeer skin from them that I get, I get to
- 1:20:15use on, you know, for camping trips.
- 1:20:16It's super warm. It's like a.
- 1:20:18Blanket short blanket size and now the bearskin so I get the
- 1:20:24the beauty of the strength and excuse me comfort of these wild
- 1:20:29spirits and it's I appreciate that I appreciate that so much.
- 1:20:36Oh cool cat was hanging with with Patrick before the ritual
- 1:20:39took some photos together. Very nice wow very cool small
- 1:20:42world. Well, thanks for coming in and
- 1:20:44thanks for acknowledging that. I'm sure he'll be happy to see
- 1:20:48that later. Godfrey Bear says that I'm
- 1:20:53covered in, in hair slash fur and I have to be, it has to be
- 1:20:59really cold because you're overheating all the time.
- 1:21:01Dude, us northerners man our blood sticker.
- 1:21:04I think even though I'm not an exceptionally hairy man, I, I,
- 1:21:07I, I'm hot blooded. I keep it, you know, a
- 1:21:12respectable 70° in the house during the day and then the
- 1:21:15upper 60s at night during the summer.
- 1:21:17But even during the day, like sometimes my wife and other
- 1:21:21extension members of the extended family are like, it's
- 1:21:23so cold in here. I'm like you nor new you, new
- 1:21:28Southerners, you people with your Southern blood, you know,
- 1:21:31water for blood. I think.
- 1:21:38So one second, we might be having a special guest coming on
- 1:21:41here. Let me just respond back to him.
- 1:22:06Hang on a second, guys. We might be having a special
- 1:22:15guest lining up here for us or joining us.
- 1:22:17He's he's been chatting away in the comments and the gypsy might
- 1:22:22be making an appearance. He'll say that much.
- 1:22:25So Cat Shepard says, yeah, we have someone who farms reindeer
- 1:22:28locally. They bring their animals to
- 1:22:32Christmas tree farms and events. Want to get a couple of antler
- 1:22:35drops from them? That would be not.
- 1:22:36That would be awesome. It'd take up.
- 1:22:38A lot of room though, got to have a lot of room and a lot of
- 1:22:40space to to deal with that. Godfrey Bear says unless my feet
- 1:22:45get cold, then I'm just bone chilled and mostly, mostly bare.
- 1:22:48Yeah, like I, my feet will get cold sometimes.
- 1:22:52But I mean, heck, that's nothing that a pair of socks can't fix.
- 1:22:55Or heck, just walk outside. You know, if, if my feet are
- 1:22:58cold inside, I just walk outside when it's, you know, 85° and the
- 1:23:0170% humidity and my feet are warm and, you know, no time.
- 1:23:06Dragon Alchemist says on YouTube I got to see Highlung in
- 1:23:09Milwaukee this April and I am. It was amazing.
- 1:23:12I can only imagine how Red Rocks would be.
- 1:23:14I got to see them my first time in Huntsville, AL last October.
- 1:23:20Again, an indoor venue. So I agree, if, if, if the
- 1:23:24amazing experience that I felt indoors is anything to, to, to
- 1:23:30recall and and celebrate, then being out in nature, especially
- 1:23:34in that Canyon, the, the, the Red Rocks Amphitheater, it, it's
- 1:23:38like that venue was made for experiences like that, you know,
- 1:23:42So I, you know, again, pickets. It was an expensive thing.
- 1:23:50I'm only think, I think I'm only recently getting, I finally can
- 1:23:52say I've paid it off. I may not have even paid off the
- 1:23:56whole thing fully. But yeah, it's, it's definitely
- 1:24:00worth it. If, you know, buy the tickets,
- 1:24:04go see them the next time they come to the US, which might be a
- 1:24:07little while from now. I know they're touring abroad,
- 1:24:10other places in the world and the last thing they said on
- 1:24:13their last tour was, you know, you know, farewell of inland for
- 1:24:16now and and we'll be back whenever, but it's, it's going
- 1:24:20to be a little while. So next opportunity we get, I'd
- 1:24:23say we I'd say we we make the most of it.
- 1:24:27Godfrey Bears is a native. I prefer barefoot and plugged
- 1:24:30into the Turtle Island. Yes, I, I'm, you know, whenever
- 1:24:35I can be barefoot, when I do have to go out in public and I
- 1:24:37do have to wear shoes, I take them off as as soon as I can,
- 1:24:45socks and shoes like I'm barefoot right now.
- 1:24:50Granted, I'm in my room in my office here chatting with all
- 1:24:55you fine folks, which by the way, I do want to say thank you
- 1:24:57all so much for coming in on an on a what do you call it?
- 1:25:01A Monday Night Live stream. You guys are listening to this
- 1:25:04at the podcast when it airs on Spotify and everywhere else.
- 1:25:07You'll be like what what was going on?
- 1:25:08That's right. We did a live stream on Monday
- 1:25:10and you weren't here or maybe you're gonna re listen or re
- 1:25:13watch this on Patreon. You're gonna be like, I was
- 1:25:14there and I was in the comments. Cat Shepard says on on on
- 1:25:20YouTube that says high long at red rocks was fantastic.
- 1:25:23Beyond fantastic. 10,000 people, their calls and music echoing
- 1:25:28off the rocks. Moon rising.
- 1:25:31Maria's singing parted the clouds.
- 1:25:33Yeah, it was it was a it was a cigar shoot.
- 1:25:38Was it cigar bloat? The cigar bloat moon.
- 1:25:41It was a it was literally a full moon.
- 1:25:44The heathen calendar reckoning of of cigar bloat.
- 1:25:48I think that's when it happened. It was it was like it was the
- 1:25:51perfect setting. It was the perfect thing.
- 1:25:54I I can't imagine that I and if I was there, I'd probably be jaw
- 1:25:59on the floor to this day trying to pick it up.
- 1:26:01I can I can't imagine how powerful that experience was.
- 1:26:05Kat Shepard says yes, OK, I was right.
- 1:26:08Yeah. I remember Patrick sharing some
- 1:26:09of those pictures from the pre show after show, all the things
- 1:26:13that he got to experience with everybody that was there, right,
- 1:26:16People connecting the drum circles, all of that.
- 1:26:21I was like, man. You lucky dog, you.
- 1:26:25Which I've had great experience. I'm not, you know, mad at.
- 1:26:27I'm just so happy that he got to experience.
- 1:26:30I'm like, man, I could be AI could be a family on the fur of
- 1:26:36that. So yeah, folks, we are going to
- 1:26:40have a guest come in here shortly.
- 1:26:41If you're just now tuning in or or missed it.
- 1:26:46Corvus Spade was chatting away up in the comments.
- 1:26:50He's gone a bit radio silent in the comments now, but that is
- 1:26:52because he is working on getting himself joined to this live
- 1:26:56stream, which is new and a first time thing.
- 1:26:59That has never happened in the history of the podcast and the
- 1:27:02history of my show. I've talked around and about
- 1:27:04this guy, but he's never been on the show before.
- 1:27:07So he's working on coming in here.
- 1:27:08So you guys just stick around. Kat Shepard on YouTube says if
- 1:27:11they only, if they play nowhere else in North America, I'd be
- 1:27:15happy. We'd all travel and camp
- 1:27:18together. Yeah.
- 1:27:19I mean, I, you know, I feel like there's plenty of people in the
- 1:27:22country that would, that would still sell that show out.
- 1:27:25Dude, I, I remember talking to a guy on my podcast prior to that
- 1:27:30show happening in Red Rocks who was coming all the way from
- 1:27:32Hawaii. OK, Like he had, he had bought
- 1:27:36tickets and, and everything and was flying in from Hawaii.
- 1:27:38And I'm like, see, everybody in the low of 48 has no, there's no
- 1:27:42excuse because this guy is flying in from the Pacific and,
- 1:27:48and, and flying 8 or 10 hours or whatever it is probably longer
- 1:27:51to get to, to, to Red Rocks to get to Denver.
- 1:27:54You know, all that for, for, for a couple of days of an
- 1:27:58experience. So if he can do it, by golly, we
- 1:28:02can. Yeah.
- 1:28:03Godfrey versus then again, I go shopping in a, a bare onesie.
- 1:28:07The kids love it. OK, so you're just all about the
- 1:28:10all about the thing. The women hate it and every dude
- 1:28:14wants to be able to be free enough to dress as dress as they
- 1:28:19feel. Yeah.
- 1:28:21Why can't we dress as we feel, right?
- 1:28:22Why can't who says we can't go out in tunics and and period
- 1:28:27clothing or whatever anymore? Who says we can't?
- 1:28:28I say nobody me to need to make it out for a high lung show one
- 1:28:33day. One day.
- 1:28:34Nathaniel on Facebook is is echoing yes, man, absolutely.
- 1:28:38You know, I gotta say that the, the, as soon as you hear about
- 1:28:43them coming back to the US, just, I don't know, open up a,
- 1:28:48a, open up a, a credit card or take out a loan or do whatever
- 1:28:52it is, pay it off over six years or whatever you need to do.
- 1:28:55I mean, just make it happen, figure it out after the
- 1:28:59afterwards. It's like I said, I'm probably
- 1:29:01just now starting to pay off what it cost me to see them in,
- 1:29:04in Huntsville, AL last year. No regrets or regrets or both.
- 1:29:12Cat, Shepherd says. I drove from Oregon or oh wow,
- 1:29:16drove from Oregon to Colorado. That is a that is a that is not
- 1:29:20a short journey. Several people approached and
- 1:29:25said they wanted to be like me, that dedicated, and we got
- 1:29:31Corvus Spade about to join us. Godfrey Bear says I'm lucky my
- 1:29:36old lady entertains my crazy ass, aren't we?
- 1:29:39Aren't we all lucky as men and as people?
- 1:29:41Just have our significant others put up with our stupid asses.
- 1:29:46But all right, here we go. We have somebody that was
- 1:29:51commenting in the comments earlier and is now audibly on
- 1:29:57screen, but oh Nope, there we go.
- 1:29:59Boom, there he is. The myth, the man, the legend.
- 1:30:03What's up, brother Gypsy? Man.
- 1:30:04Hey brother, little bit blurry, I'm sorry about that.
- 1:30:09Oh, that's OK, I've got lag going out on my end too, so
- 1:30:12we're just going to roll with it.
- 1:30:14Man. You look good man, good to see
- 1:30:16you. Hey, good to see you.
- 1:30:18I never thought this day would come.
- 1:30:20Hey, thanks for the invite. That's the way we do it.
- 1:30:24Everybody welcome the Gypsy to the live.
- 1:30:27Chat. And what this bag is?
- 1:30:32Well, I think I might know. You might, You might could tell
- 1:30:35everybody else because folks that are that are not watching
- 1:30:38this. The gypsy has a bag in his
- 1:30:40hands. In this bag, Oh, the first rune
- 1:30:50fell out. A bag of a bag of runes, ladies
- 1:30:53and gentlemen. What?
- 1:30:54Who'da thunk it? Who'da thunk that?
- 1:30:56On the Random Heathen Ramblings podcast a live.
- 1:30:59Stream that a bag of runes would have showed up.
- 1:31:04Got cat shepherd saying skull corvus.
- 1:31:06Skull corvus. OK Yep, you got the so there we
- 1:31:10go. So can Oz turn it to your left?
- 1:31:15Yeah, like that. So we got can Oz first rune
- 1:31:19pulled or the 1st? That was the first rune.
- 1:31:22When I shook the bag, it wanted to come out.
- 1:31:27All right. So so.
- 1:31:31Cown or Canas is the first rune to have made its appearance
- 1:31:35tonight on the on the podcast. Yeah, man, Skull, I'll give you
- 1:31:40the virtual toast right there. So do you know what Canas means
- 1:31:48or what Canas the rune represents?
- 1:31:52So Canas is not it's it's got a few different names in in some
- 1:31:57of the different rune poems known as Cowan or can sometimes
- 1:32:05and they're different rune poems.
- 1:32:06But in in one of the rune poems, it means like torch Cat Shepard
- 1:32:14commented that on YouTube. It is torch in another rune
- 1:32:19poems. It means like ulcer, like a
- 1:32:26burning ulcer. And I will read the Norwegian
- 1:32:35room poem for for for cane Oz. So in the Norwegian room poem
- 1:32:41and in modern English, the the rune again is is is cown.
- 1:32:45But in English it it it translates as ulcer is fatal to
- 1:32:49children. Death makes a corpse pale.
- 1:32:55And I think. It's similar, and I think it's
- 1:32:57similar in the. Icelandic room poem, which, you
- 1:33:04know, Iceland and Norway, they're they're kind of
- 1:33:08neighbors there. The only one that's different is
- 1:33:11the Anglo-Saxon room poem. But if I can find it, there it
- 1:33:17is. Maybe is this the one?
- 1:33:23It might be the one, but it's similar.
- 1:33:24It's, yeah, it's here. It is English translation of the
- 1:33:31Icelandic room poem Ulcer. Disease fatal to children, a
- 1:33:34painful spot and abode of mortification.
- 1:33:40Now the Anglo-Saxon rune poem for the rune Cowan or Chaos says
- 1:33:44the torch is known to every living man by its pale bright
- 1:33:48flame. It always burns where Princess
- 1:33:51sit within. Well, so, Prince.
- 1:33:59Yeah, you know, like a Raspberry beret.
- 1:34:06When does cry? You know this.
- 1:34:07Is what it sounds like. Oh man.
- 1:34:10I mean, Prince, Prince. Yeah, so, you know, like for to
- 1:34:19just pull a random rune and for it to, or for, you know, to, to
- 1:34:22disturb the bag and for counting canas to fall out.
- 1:34:26I, I, I, I like to see that rune as a, as the torch, right?
- 1:34:30It, it's to me, it's, it's, it's the illuminating light that
- 1:34:34provides that. It's not the knowledge, it's
- 1:34:38the, it's like the seeking of the knowledge.
- 1:34:40It's it's not the knowledge itself.
- 1:34:41But it's it's the torch that illuminates the path for you to
- 1:34:44find your way along your journey.
- 1:34:46And I also can see it as a sort of beacon for those looking.
- 1:34:50For their way. Because from the distance, the
- 1:34:53torch can be that like marker, you know, in a, in a dark way,
- 1:34:59in an, in a dark landscape, if you see that burning candle,
- 1:35:02that burning light, it's like, oh, I need to go there, you
- 1:35:05know, So it can be this sort of beacon in a way.
- 1:35:10The torch doesn't provide the knowledge it provides you the
- 1:35:13way to find it. That's how I kind of see it.
- 1:35:18So these rooms actually were awarded as you put up a it
- 1:35:38wasn't bounty, it was a, it was, what do they call it?
- 1:35:44It's like a raffle or something one or a giveaway.
- 1:35:46Or. Yeah, yeah, years ago.
- 1:35:48And I bought out everybody. I bought out everybody.
- 1:35:53For some reason you wanted them. I wanted them and it was to help
- 1:35:58our brother. It was help our brother and the
- 1:36:06bag. So you guys know?
- 1:36:10Yeah, it gets blurred in the background, you know what?
- 1:36:14Do I have the ability to turn this blur off?
- 1:36:19Did you turn it on to begin with?
- 1:36:21Yeah. Do I have to back out and
- 1:36:22rejoin? You should have there.
- 1:36:27There might be settings on the on the bottom of the screen
- 1:36:30there where it says settings and you might be able to change it.
- 1:36:33Let. Me.
- 1:36:33Let me do that. I'm gonna post up Cat Shepherd's
- 1:36:37comment while you're figuring that out, 'cause they said on
- 1:36:41YouTube. There they said that Rob reads
- 1:36:43on YouTube just put out a video that we should bring the
- 1:36:46Anglo-Saxon futhork back as a writing system.
- 1:36:50I'm going to do that connected synthesis and other dots and
- 1:36:54enigma. Listen, Cat, there is actually
- 1:36:56somebody who is developing a course for what they're
- 1:37:01referring to as the American futharch.
- 1:37:04And I say futharch with ACH sound on purpose because that is
- 1:37:09what the Runix alphabet for American English is purposely
- 1:37:13called. If you go on YouTube, if you go
- 1:37:16on Instagram, if you go on Facebook, look for the Skaldic
- 1:37:18Eagle. His name is.
- 1:37:22Yeah, Looks good. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:37:24Looks good now. So his name is Eric WI Rick
- 1:37:27Westcote, known on social media as the Skaldic eagle.
- 1:37:30He has developed an American footharch system.
- 1:37:34Runic characters sacred English is what he's referring to this
- 1:37:38as and it's going into the learning the runes in in the
- 1:37:42runic system of American English.
- 1:37:45Anglo-Saxon futhork is probably the closest ancient runic system
- 1:37:49that would best be used for writing in modern English.
- 1:37:51But he's developed after, I mean, and he's a runeologist.
- 1:37:55He's he's traveled to Scandinavia to he's he's got a
- 1:37:59PhD. He's studied in Iceland and
- 1:38:01abroad. Guy knows what he's talking
- 1:38:03about. So if you're interested, you
- 1:38:04want to find more about that, just go online, search up the
- 1:38:07skaldic eagle. I've had him on my podcast
- 1:38:09actually before. So if you're, if you, you know,
- 1:38:13want to incorporate anything, he, he is currently running a a
- 1:38:18course in his sacred English American.
- 1:38:21Futharch, I think the last day for enrollment is like the last
- 1:38:24like towards the end of this month, September.
- 1:38:27It it is quite an extensive course.
- 1:38:29It's it's you know, it's it's no drop in the bucket money wise.
- 1:38:32But if you're really into looking at runes for writing,
- 1:38:37reading, using them in modern English, he's he's got a whole
- 1:38:40thing and you can go to the I think it's the skaldic eagle no
- 1:38:43American futharch.com and you can find out more about that.
- 1:38:53But yeah, So what we you were saying something about the bag
- 1:38:55there, Corvus the. So so now I can actually show
- 1:39:00you guys a bag because it was this was a handmade bag.
- 1:39:08All you've seen the first room. Yep.
- 1:39:13You want to tell them about how you did this?
- 1:39:19As I recall, it's been a little while, but as I recall, those
- 1:39:24rooms were made, Were they? Everyone.
- 1:39:31They weren't cherry wood, were they?
- 1:39:35No, I think, I think they're Maple from the tree in our yard,
- 1:39:42I think. But they were blessed.
- 1:39:47They were blessed under the full moon of the, of the the Goa
- 1:39:50moon. So I think they're around cigar
- 1:39:52bloat time, like April time of year or something like that.
- 1:39:55It was on a full moon and they were.
- 1:39:57They were left now blood and mean.
- 1:40:00Yep. And ritual.
- 1:40:02And my Mead. Yeah, they were, they were
- 1:40:06soaked in your Mead and, and it was like a a big thing.
- 1:40:11Like I was like, wow, these are really special.
- 1:40:12You know, there's it's from a tree from my yard, Mead from a
- 1:40:16from a local Mead maker. And yeah, like once he once he
- 1:40:21saw them, he was like, I, I. Can't let anybody else.
- 1:40:24Yeah, I gotta have them. Them's is mine.
- 1:40:28So, question posed, would anybody like for me to pull a
- 1:40:39rune? And mind you, left-handed?
- 1:40:46The only thing I cannot take off is my wedding ring.
- 1:40:52OK. No technology, left hand
- 1:40:56business closest to the heart, and I will show you as I pull
- 1:41:03the runes. Yeah, great.
- 1:41:08We'll, we'll get to the comments now because we're going to get
- 1:41:10some people that want to probably jump in on that.
- 1:41:13So let me just catch up to some comments here with, let's see,
- 1:41:17Godfrey Bear from YouTube's. Well, I figure by memory it'd be
- 1:41:20about 14 to 16 hours on the War Horse of Tennessee.
- 1:41:23Oh yeah, you're talking about your your trip from the North
- 1:41:26and Canada there. Yeah, so hello there, Ulvord
- 1:41:29says. On a side note, I recently
- 1:41:30learned about the zebras don't get ulcers, and I figured that
- 1:41:36interesting because they are chased by lions, yet a human get
- 1:41:40ulcers simply from reading an e-mail.
- 1:41:44Dude, everybody gets ulcers nowadays.
- 1:41:46You freaking, you know, drink a latte the wrong way and you've
- 1:41:49got cancer or some stupid thing. It's everybody's so damn soft,
- 1:41:53Cat Shepherd says Righteous. Thanks for the point.
- 1:41:56Yeah, you're welcome, cat. Check out American Truth.
- 1:41:58Arch Fox Star on YouTube says I'm in the stream because it
- 1:42:04autoplayed after a Christian video.
- 1:42:07Are you kidding me? If that's real, then hey.
- 1:42:12You know what? That might be that might be the
- 1:42:16clip that I just shared. That might be the clip that I
- 1:42:18share for the short look. Look here.
- 1:42:20My heathen content that gets blasted for dumb crap all the
- 1:42:23time was on autoplay after a Christian video.
- 1:42:26Go figure. That's the real.
- 1:42:29That's the clip right there, boys and girls.
- 1:42:34So thank you. So let's see.
- 1:42:36Cat Shepherd says found the site.
- 1:42:38You're welcome, Godfrey Bear. OK sure pull one I'm game.
- 1:42:44So the bear would is the first one.
- 1:42:48Left-handed left. Handed and we got some others in
- 1:42:52line so everybody just. See, I can't, I can't shake the
- 1:42:55bag. I'm just going to tell you what
- 1:43:02got to hold the top and I'm squeezing it left hand.
- 1:43:20This one right here. He's got it, folks.
- 1:43:29There's another one once come out but and I'm pulling it this
- 1:43:39way. Little stubborn uh oh OK Othala
- 1:43:44yeah. So kind of hold it like top and
- 1:43:46bottom so that people can see the, the whole.
- 1:43:49OK, yeah, there you go. Pull it forward just a little
- 1:43:55bit. Othala heritage, ancestors.
- 1:44:00Your ancestor, ancestral inheritance.
- 1:44:03The your, Yeah, your ancestral heritage.
- 1:44:06It's all about the ancestors for you there.
- 1:44:08Godfrey Bear, Othala. Some people say Othala.
- 1:44:13You'll hear that. You'll hear that.
- 1:44:14You'll hear that pronunciation used more popularly I think.
- 1:44:19But in most of the proto Germanic languages, including
- 1:44:22Old Norse, Old Saxon, Old English, the emphasis of the
- 1:44:25syllable always lands. Well, I didn't say always,
- 1:44:28mostly and usually lands on the front syllable.
- 1:44:31So the the the correct pronunciation of the room that
- 1:44:34most people will say is Othala is actually Othala.
- 1:44:38And that room typically is associated with, again,
- 1:44:43ancestral lineage, ancestral heritage.
- 1:44:46It's. Actually a very special room to
- 1:44:48us. Yep, you've pulled it before
- 1:44:54around here. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:44:59All right, thank you for that. Let's see who else wants 1 cat?
- 1:45:04Shepherd would like one. They said yes, please with a cat
- 1:45:08emoji. So coming right up, cat.
- 1:45:11Here we go. Oh, let him do his thing.
- 1:45:20What if I rag? Cards, man, you, you that that'd
- 1:45:26be that'd be quite. That would that would be
- 1:45:30interesting. OK, so this is Urus, the top of
- 1:45:44so you're the bottom. It's upside down.
- 1:45:45Let me put it that way. The way the rune appears, the
- 1:45:48way the the way the rune appears in in the fourth arc is, is more
- 1:45:52like that. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:45:56So another interesting point of of consideration is that Urus in
- 1:46:01the rune poems means some different things in different
- 1:46:04contexts. Most popularly it is translated
- 1:46:08as orux, meaning this wild great savage bovine that has been long
- 1:46:14extinct. But in the Anglo-Saxon rune
- 1:46:16poem, the aurochs is proud and has great horns.
- 1:46:19It is very savage beast and fights with its horns a great
- 1:46:22Ranger of the Moors. It is a creature of metal,
- 1:46:26toughness, resiliency, wild reckless sort of strength.
- 1:46:32It's it's it's not the domesticated cattle, it's the.
- 1:46:34Wild cattle, I like it. It it when you talk about like
- 1:46:37that, I like it more like that. 'Cause it like it looks like
- 1:46:42horns. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:46:44Yeah, yeah, yeah. So cat, you know, in, in
- 1:46:48another, in other rune poems, it, it, it means ur, like ur,
- 1:46:53like Urus is a reconstructed protodramatic name for the rune.
- 1:46:56But in the Norwegian and Icelandic rune poems, ur is more
- 1:47:00like slag, like like like imagine like like metal being
- 1:47:07beaten. And then the the the fiery dross
- 1:47:12that comes off of working of metal is like slag.
- 1:47:16It's like that thing. But the Anglo-Saxon rune poem, I
- 1:47:21think is more is older in it in so the oryx is is was what we
- 1:47:26tend to see associated with that rune.
- 1:47:28So primal strength, primal resilience.
- 1:47:33The Thor. You know.
- 1:47:37Well, there's something I'm gonna.
- 1:47:39I'm on. Like they.
- 1:47:40Yeah, she, they got it. Cat says they Yeah.
- 1:47:41Ooders, the aurochs, that which you don't do not own.
- 1:47:45Yeah, it's wild. You can't own it.
- 1:47:46You can't possess it. You can't control it.
- 1:47:48Godfrey Bears says that makes sense for them, the being the
- 1:47:51last generation of their kind. So the Oath of Laroon really
- 1:47:54struck them and and met them. We do have one other.
- 1:47:57But you were gonna say something.
- 1:47:59Gypsy, go ahead. There's I right here with the
- 1:48:05Ring and see, I'm not good with being on camera because
- 1:48:11everything is right, is left. I know, yes.
- 1:48:15So up is down, left is right, in is out.
- 1:48:22That eye sees off all. Right.
- 1:48:27You got another one, brother. Sorry.
- 1:48:29Go ahead. I'll wait.
- 1:48:32There was lag. Sorry.
- 1:48:44Your strength, this is what you need to tap into.
- 1:48:50This is who you are. The things that you're going
- 1:48:54through right now are making you question, do you have what's
- 1:49:00inside of you? If I'm wrong, tell me I'm wrong.
- 1:49:12You're the reader here. The you're the one that pulled
- 1:49:13it. Do you have the metal right?
- 1:49:15Do you have what it takes? Do you have the tenacity?
- 1:49:18Do you have the strength? All right.
- 1:49:23Next we have Dragon Alchemist on YouTube that said yes please to
- 1:49:28a reading or to a room pull I should say.
- 1:49:34Yes, I'm fondling the sack. Called the balls, massage the
- 1:49:44sack. This is a PG show, we swear.
- 1:49:48There's this one right there. OK.
- 1:50:04I think I know that one. Yep, you got that facing right.
- 1:50:08Yep, you got it. So this one is, it looks like
- 1:50:11the letter the IT looks like the Latin letter P Anybody in the
- 1:50:16comments that's watching want to give a give a shout at to what
- 1:50:19this rune is for Dragon Alchemist.
- 1:50:27I think we got a couple people in the comments that could
- 1:50:30probably tell us what this rune is.
- 1:50:32And I'll give my answer here in just a second.
- 1:50:35Godfrey Baird just was saying that they're their 7th
- 1:50:37generation of the 7th generation.
- 1:50:39After they're gone, they don't know who will be left to stand
- 1:50:43guard at the gates of the darkness.
- 1:50:45They'll be somebody, man. I'm sure there will.
- 1:50:47Be I'm I'm I'm still wondering about.
- 1:50:50That off OK Nathaniel there. Yeah, Nathaniel on says Wenyo
- 1:51:00and you are correct. Also Cat says Wenyo and then Joy
- 1:51:07thereafter followed up by Feisty.
- 1:51:12I'm also familiar with this stuff and I'm not.
- 1:51:16We'll stick around Feisty. You might be new to the channel,
- 1:51:19but this is the Random Heathen Ramblings podcast broadcasting
- 1:51:21live. My brother here on the on the
- 1:51:24side of me is, is pulling some runes that I made years ago that
- 1:51:27he acquired. And we've got Winyo appearing
- 1:51:30for Dragon Alchemist on YouTube. And so the Winyo rune does mean
- 1:51:36Joy or bliss. I will do this or harmony there.
- 1:51:41There are things that that that you know, different words in the
- 1:51:44English language that we can associate this particular rune
- 1:51:47with. But Uno is joy or harmony or
- 1:51:49bliss. It is a shared joy.
- 1:51:54It is the joy that comes from the exchange of things in the
- 1:51:58runic characters in the runic alphabet.
- 1:52:01Uno comes after Gabo Gabe O meaning gift in exchange.
- 1:52:07And so there is joy, there is harmony, there is blissfulness,
- 1:52:12there is peace. One of the rune poems says
- 1:52:14bliss. Is he bliss?
- 1:52:16He enjoys? Who knows?
- 1:52:17Not suffering, sorrow nor anxiety, and has prosperity and
- 1:52:22happiness in a good enough house.
- 1:52:26All right, Have you? Have you had a recent windfall
- 1:52:33just or or recent development that you didn't expect or just
- 1:52:42is somebody pregnant maybe that you don't know about?
- 1:52:50Well, now that I mean pregnancy can, can, can carry so many
- 1:52:53emotions. I mean, joy can definitely be
- 1:52:55one of them. Shock, awe, amazement.
- 1:52:58Wow, right. Feel like I went walk in there
- 1:53:01for a minute. Shock, joy, amazement.
- 1:53:04Wow. Whoa, tell me about it.
- 1:53:09Cats Cat Cat Shepherd says they definitely experience Wunyo at
- 1:53:14Red Rocks. And yeah, it is.
- 1:53:15It's that blissful. Joy but Cat.
- 1:53:20Dragon Dancer. Was the last one?
- 1:53:22Was the last one that that I pulled, Was it spot on?
- 1:53:31Was I wrong? So drag, let me see.
- 1:53:37So dragon Alchemist is the one that you got 1 yo for and they
- 1:53:41say that I'm I have an amazing opportunity dropped in my lap
- 1:53:46recently. Congratulations my friend.
- 1:53:50Congratulations indeed, Salud Skull.
- 1:53:54Yeah, I'll drink to that. See, that's the whole thing when
- 1:54:04anything. Oh, you love the funny
- 1:54:06expression. Well, they're abundant here.
- 1:54:10This is what it's about. It's random.
- 1:54:11It's even in its ramblings. We're just going to do all the
- 1:54:14things. I don't love that.
- 1:54:18But that's one thing that people don't understand.
- 1:54:22When you actually enjoy everything that that that
- 1:54:30somebody goes through and you're you're actually happy for them.
- 1:54:39That is true motion. That is true feeling.
- 1:54:45Yeah. And it's the same when they go
- 1:54:48through their down times. You, you want to help.
- 1:54:51You want to give everything that you possibly can.
- 1:54:57That is spiritualism, that that's your soul.
- 1:55:04Well, yeah. Well, one of the beautiful
- 1:55:05things I think of when I think of Joy is that it's like you can
- 1:55:10you can experience those things even when the chips are down.
- 1:55:13You know, like it can be rough going, it can be tumultuous, but
- 1:55:17when you've got your joy, you've got everything, you know, you've
- 1:55:22got that inner bliss, you've got that harmony, you, you've got
- 1:55:24that connectedness to the sacred, You got that
- 1:55:26connectedness to the divine. To know that, hey, whatever else
- 1:55:29is going on around here, that's, that's a, that's, you know, a,
- 1:55:32a, a steaming pile of taka. You know, it's a steaming pile
- 1:55:36of Doo Doo, right? OK, well, I still have my joy.
- 1:55:40And that is what is within us. It's, it's what we manifest.
- 1:55:43It's what we can control, right? And it's what we can share,
- 1:55:52Feisty says. Glad I could make you laugh.
- 1:55:54Hold on, I'm going to subscribe. Thank you for the subscription,
- 1:55:57Feisty. Appreciate that.
- 1:55:59We, we, we, we've just recently started doing these things.
- 1:56:02Oh, oh, wait all. Ten.
- 1:56:04Oh, they're already OK, so they said they're already subscribed.
- 1:56:07Well, cool. Thank you.
- 1:56:08Oh. Oh, I, I, I thought they were
- 1:56:11asking. They were next.
- 1:56:14Oh, well, feisty. Do you want, do you want, do you
- 1:56:16want, do you want the gypsy over here?
- 1:56:18Look, I got to do the stupid thing with the freaking mirrored
- 1:56:20whatever. I'm over here pointing to this
- 1:56:22guy and he's not around the corner.
- 1:56:23Around the corner and over here. Whatever.
- 1:56:25Wait, wait. It's it's.
- 1:56:29It's wait, is it wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle?
- 1:56:31Wiggle that way. OK.
- 1:56:33Yeah, yeah, yeah, that way. Yeah, if you want, if you want
- 1:56:38him to pull a Oh, they said no thanks.
- 1:56:40That's OK. That's all right.
- 1:56:42That's fine. We we'll welcome the part we'll
- 1:56:45we'll welcome the spectators as the participants.
- 1:56:49You know now listen guys, everybody that watches my
- 1:56:54content knows I don't I don't do the room readings live or or or
- 1:56:58whatever in this context. We're we're live streaming right
- 1:57:00now and this is becoming a, a, a podcast episode.
- 1:57:03He's. At his house, I'm at mine.
- 1:57:08Right. I suggested it.
- 1:57:11I was like, hey. Let's do it.
- 1:57:13What if I pull the runes and you do the reading?
- 1:57:22That they said thanks for the offer.
- 1:57:23Yeah, you're welcome. Feisty.
- 1:57:24And if you ever change your mind, come back.
- 1:57:27So these live things, we, you know, I just started doing these
- 1:57:32once a month. So this is the first month to do
- 1:57:34it. They'll probably happen again in
- 1:57:35October. Subscribe, see what comes out.
- 1:57:38You'll take a rune. All right.
- 1:57:39Who's in line? OK, so we have Oof more.
- 1:57:44Did I get that right? Yeah.
- 1:57:46Oof more. That says I'll take a rune.
- 1:57:50Well, yeah, yeah, you will indeed.
- 1:57:52Apparently throw your name in the hat.
- 1:57:55So says the So says the Vicki. So says the Gypsy.
- 1:58:01Now mind you, all rooms that come out, we're going to read
- 1:58:08them at the end of the night, see what the final is.
- 1:58:15Fair enough. OK, you're keeping track of them
- 1:58:20all, I know. What we started with now, right
- 1:58:22here. OK.
- 1:58:24All right. And I'm stacking them up.
- 1:58:27All right. So.
- 1:58:31Interesting. Now it sounds like dice.
- 1:58:37Making a little bit of room in there.
- 1:58:38It sounds like I. I I miss bone dice.
- 1:58:44Yeah, throwing the bones. You don't want me throwing the
- 1:58:48bones. Oh, brother.
- 1:58:52I'll get the rib bone. I've got rib bone over here too,
- 1:58:57but I don't use them for anything other than tribe stuff.
- 1:58:59No, I got that one rib bone. Oh, I know.
- 1:59:04We've talked about that before. There you go.
- 1:59:16All right, Wolf Moore. So this rune looks like if you
- 1:59:21just move a little bit, push it forward, brother, a little bit
- 1:59:24so that everybody can see. There you go.
- 1:59:25Looks like it looks like the Roman or Latin letter R.
- 1:59:33Who wants to comment first on the name of this rune for Wolf
- 1:59:37Moore? It looks like the letter R in
- 1:59:46the Elder Futhark. It's in the Younger Futhark too.
- 1:59:49Actually, it appears in both the Anglo-Saxon and Norwegian and
- 1:59:53Icelandic room poems. Hold on, I'm sorry.
- 2:00:00My cat. Hold my cat.
- 2:00:03OK. So this rune is called Rydo.
- 2:00:12I wanna, I wanna get up close so they can see the actual every
- 2:00:22stitch, all of it. Yep, there you go, Cat Shepard
- 2:00:29Rydo Journey Nathaniel also says Rydo.
- 2:00:33Nathaniel, I saw your comment. Your next dragon alchemist,
- 2:00:36Rydo? Some.
- 2:00:41Yeah. OK, hold on a second.
- 2:00:43So my question is, what are you, what are you going through right
- 2:00:52now? Because there is either one.
- 2:01:00It's time for you to go on a journey or two.
- 2:01:06You're ending 1 and I don't even know the runes.
- 2:01:11Yeah, so ride like so ry though, right?
- 2:01:13If you think like the, the, the, the pronunciation of it ry
- 2:01:16though, like ride. But they're right, they're
- 2:01:17correct. And that it means like journey
- 2:01:20in the Anglo-Saxon room poem, riding or ride seems easy to
- 2:01:24every warrior while he is indoors, and very courageous to
- 2:01:29him who travels the high roads. On the back of a stout horse.
- 2:01:32And there is similar echoing sentiment comments in the other
- 2:01:38room poems that that it it's unlike some of the other rooms
- 2:01:41that we saw tonight where they have dual meanings.
- 2:01:44Ry, though, is always seen as the ride, the journey, something
- 2:01:49in motion, right? So it could be a physical
- 2:01:53journey. It could be a physical traveling
- 2:01:56of sorts, or it could be another journey or another traveling.
- 2:01:59I think this one, I think this one is a little bit different.
- 2:02:03Yeah, and this one's for Oathmore.
- 2:02:04So Oathmore, you have a a journey that you are.
- 2:02:09Another one, do you have a? Well, that's the same person.
- 2:02:15I wanna, I wanna. Yeah, I know.
- 2:02:17I wanna follow this up though. I wanna.
- 2:02:19Follow yeah. For some reason I wanna follow
- 2:02:21this up. Yeah, I wanna follow this one
- 2:02:24up. So they're they're, they're kind
- 2:02:27of they're, they're feeling the whole journey thing.
- 2:02:29So you gotta. Yeah, I want to fill this up.
- 2:02:40Uh huh. Algies.
- 2:02:42OK, so interesting. I don't know why, but he he
- 2:02:48pulled another one for for Oathmore.
- 2:02:50But yeah, Algies, you know, and algaes is a rune that is a very
- 2:02:58it it it's it's it's seen in archaeological finds as as a
- 2:03:02rune associated with protection in a lot of different ways.
- 2:03:09But OK, so they say go for it. You named your car Rydo.
- 2:03:16That's a funny cat. So algaes is is a rune that so
- 2:03:27so the it's interesting in the in the rune poems like the the L
- 2:03:31sage L so so the word LL. We have two.
- 2:03:40Hold on now what? So LL in in like the the
- 2:03:46Anglo-Saxon run poem L Sage ties to like Elk.
- 2:03:53We have two. Yep, so the one in your so the
- 2:03:57one that's not algaes, they'll the one in your right hand
- 2:03:59brother is upside down. If you just invert it there you
- 2:04:03go. So that's Lagos ailhas or
- 2:04:09algaes. But it's it's it's mostly found
- 2:04:12in a marsh. It grows in the water and makes
- 2:04:14a ghastly wound, covering with bloody with blood every warrior
- 2:04:18who touches it well. This is a story between all
- 2:04:21three of these. There's more to this.
- 2:04:25Mm hmm, yeah. And why for why for why for
- 2:04:28them, not for others like why, what, what the what what felt
- 2:04:32what was felt to to pull the And what's interesting right is like
- 2:04:39in the the other rune poems, the the the Icelandic and the
- 2:04:43Norwegian rune poems, this rune does not appear.
- 2:04:47It only appears in the Anglo-Saxon rune poems, which is
- 2:04:50what I just recited. The, the, you know, the, the elk
- 2:04:56or the elk, the, it grows in a marsh and it's, and it's bloody
- 2:05:01to, to every warrior that, that, that encounters it.
- 2:05:04But it is a protective rune. We've, we've, we've seen this,
- 2:05:07this particular rune symbol appear in many archaeological
- 2:05:13finds or several archaeological finds at least that that
- 2:05:15suggested it was recognized as a protective staff.
- 2:05:20OK, I. Don't know what you're going
- 2:05:26through, but my heart is with you.
- 2:05:32You got a journey, you're protected along the way and
- 2:05:34you're, you're on that. Lagos is like water.
- 2:05:36It's it, it's, it's, it, it means, it means two different
- 2:05:40things and some different rune poems.
- 2:05:41But the the the Anglo-Saxon rune poem suggests it as a meaning of
- 2:05:47water. There's the low.
- 2:05:50Of things. There's going to be a lot of
- 2:05:52sorrow that comes upon your journey.
- 2:05:54There's you're going to have to deal with blood and you're going
- 2:06:01to find out and it as much as this might seem cliche, blood is
- 2:06:09not always thicker than water. Your family that you have built
- 2:06:18will stand before you and with you stronger then what's your
- 2:06:23blood that you're having a turmoil with that you need to
- 2:06:27get away from? I don't know you and if if I
- 2:06:34don't? Know them either.
- 2:06:35If if any of this is wrong from any of these room pullings or
- 2:06:39any of these personal things that that I just interject,
- 2:06:44please, please, it's very important.
- 2:06:49Please comment saying no. He's way off baser.
- 2:06:53Holy shit, he's right on. I mean, this is the first time
- 2:07:00I've ever done this. It's the first time I've done it
- 2:07:03either or or also. All right, so let's see.
- 2:07:09So we had a comment from a YouTube his name or their name
- 2:07:12was Hezekiah Meyers. They want one, but we're going
- 2:07:17to do Nathaniel on Facebook first because they they
- 2:07:20commented earlier. So Nathaniel says OK, I'm in
- 2:07:23they. Want all right.
- 2:07:31And we're going to get through the comments, folks.
- 2:07:33Just just bear with us. Thanks for your patience.
- 2:07:36This is the first time we're doing it.
- 2:07:39If you like the video, wherever you're watching this, please
- 2:07:41give it a like, give it a react interact in the way that you're
- 2:07:44doing it on on the platform that you're watching it.
- 2:07:50Yera, Nathaniel, your rune is Yera.
- 2:07:57So. And it's a hell.
- 2:08:02Of a lot easier to pull cars man.
- 2:08:05You're holding it right? Because in the The funny thing
- 2:08:07about Yera is it's one of those ruins that you know if you're
- 2:08:09holding it upside down, you can't because there is no
- 2:08:12inverse. There is no upside down.
- 2:08:15Yeah. And so yera is is the year or
- 2:08:20year is is a word that means year.
- 2:08:23Again, it's it's a rune that only appears in the Anglo-Saxon
- 2:08:27futhorc rune poem. In that rune poem, the the the
- 2:08:38the the room poem for, for for Yara OK, it says summer is a joy
- 2:08:43to men when God, the holy king of heaven, suffers the earth to
- 2:08:47bring forth shining fruits for rich and poor alike.
- 2:08:50It's a room most likely or most commonly associated with
- 2:08:55harvest. You know, pulling things when
- 2:08:58the time is right, doing things when the time is right.
- 2:09:01Now is the time to do the thing that you are that the seed that
- 2:09:06you planted called for you to do.
- 2:09:08Now it is time to harvest. Now it is time to reap.
- 2:09:10Those rewards is usually the the connection or the OR the
- 2:09:14association with Yera. You want to take a break for a
- 2:09:23moment and take comments and. Yeah, let me look at some
- 2:09:27comments here, but I know there's a bunch of people that
- 2:09:29are commenting on some stuff from before, Cat said.
- 2:09:33They, they, they. Stacked.
- 2:09:35They named their they named their car Rydo, which is funny
- 2:09:38because it's a car and you're taking a journey in it, so
- 2:09:40that's funny. Feisty says I can't find my
- 2:09:43paper. Wait, gotta check if I fed the
- 2:09:46cat. Oh yeah, feed the cat.
- 2:09:48Go for it for sure. Nathaniel also commented earlier
- 2:09:54talking about I guess the the rytho, the rytho pull for it.
- 2:10:00Was it? Yeah, it was for Oolph or I
- 2:10:04think Oolph Moore that he said that the you have to travel
- 2:10:07outside of your comfort zone to find new knowledge and wisdom.
- 2:10:11That's some keen insight on the whole thing.
- 2:10:18Got Shepherd on YouTube says it's not, it's not the deer that
- 2:10:22we call elk, quote UN quote here.
- 2:10:25That's a a wapit. They're they're referencing the
- 2:10:28deer we call moose, but it's called elk in Europe.
- 2:10:34Maybe maybe elk or, or the the the Caribou or the reindeer or
- 2:10:38the OR those type of, of antler critters, for lack of a better
- 2:10:45term. But yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's
- 2:10:49that thing. Let's see here.
- 2:10:54Godfrey Bear says the moose, AKA the forest tank is not to be
- 2:10:59messed with. Dude, you're in Canada.
- 2:11:01You got to know the moose don't F around.
- 2:11:05Those suckers are like as big as a tractor trailer, sometimes as
- 2:11:09tall as I mean, you can drive a, you can drive a whole car
- 2:11:11underneath them things a a full grown bull moose.
- 2:11:13You kidding me? They, they, they, you know, you
- 2:11:15hit that and your car is toast. Yeah.
- 2:11:18It it's you, your toast. Yeah, I was saying you the car,
- 2:11:23everybody in it like the and the and the moose will just be like
- 2:11:26they'll just shake their their hoof and be like whatever, have
- 2:11:31a have a fox. Watch if I see you back.
- 2:11:33I need batteries. All right, get your batteries.
- 2:11:37I'm going to catch up on some comments.
- 2:11:39Oof, Moore says. I hear you, by the way, Jesse.
- 2:11:41Oh, this is OK. So the the bear fur, I'm finally
- 2:11:44catching up to the comments. Sorry, there the bear fur.
- 2:11:49And he is speaking truth. I'm on a healing journey.
- 2:11:52So the runes speak truth and the runes do reveal truth.
- 2:11:59And I'm glad that you're here or more for the to see that the
- 2:12:03that the bear skin does make a make a make a make its presence
- 2:12:06known. You'll be OK.
- 2:12:11I'll like cool. Thank you Godfrey bear.
- 2:12:15Then again, I've been hit in the head a lot.
- 2:12:18You guys are great. Thanks for the comments.
- 2:12:21Back to the last comment, I'm just going to post up here on
- 2:12:24screen. So Hezekiah Myers asked earlier
- 2:12:28if we could pull a room for them.
- 2:12:29Hezekiah, if you're still watching, then we're you're
- 2:12:35you're next. You're going to be next in live
- 2:12:39and we're we're we're going now for over 2 hours.
- 2:12:41This is going to be a hell of a podcast for the rest of the week
- 2:12:44guys. So for you, those of you that
- 2:12:46don't listen to the podcast or watch me normally on Patreon,
- 2:12:49this is a rare treat. And you know, you're getting a
- 2:12:54chance to kind of interact and, and, and be part of something
- 2:12:56that is unprecedented in Random Heat and Rambling's podcast
- 2:12:59history. But Hezekiah Myers, your rune
- 2:13:03reading is next. We're going to come back to you
- 2:13:05as soon as the gypsy gets back to the screen to pull the rune
- 2:13:09for you. So thank you, Feisty.
- 2:13:13So you did really cool. Well, thank you and appreciate
- 2:13:16that even if this is not your normal content.
- 2:13:20Again, this is a live stream that I'm doing as part of my
- 2:13:24podcast schedule. I do podcasts every week on
- 2:13:26Thursdays. Normally I have guests or
- 2:13:28sometimes I do them solo, but we're introducing something a
- 2:13:32little bit new for the listeners, for the viewers.
- 2:13:35We're doing a sort of once a month live stream where we get
- 2:13:38interaction like this and make it a bit fun and interactive.
- 2:13:42Godfrey Barris has had a female and newborn in the yard talking
- 2:13:47about a female and newborn moose in the yard this spring, along
- 2:13:51with a young black bear. Sounds like a good time.
- 2:13:56All right. Sounds like sounds like a sounds
- 2:13:59like a buffet. I guess so I don't know if
- 2:14:03they're still in the chat or not, but we were going through
- 2:14:07everybody. And earlier we had a, a, a
- 2:14:09person to Hezekiah Meyers on YouTube ask could you pull a
- 2:14:14rune for me? So maybe they'll catch us on the
- 2:14:17replay or maybe they're still watching.
- 2:14:18Not sure. But they were here.
- 2:14:21So let's let's hit them up. They haven't commented back yet
- 2:14:26if they're still here, but in respect of their request we will
- 2:14:32acquiesced. So all this I'm, you see, I'm
- 2:14:38pulling it. It's all.
- 2:14:40I haven't had any. Yeah, I haven't had any backs.
- 2:14:50Right. All right, so for YouTube
- 2:14:55commenter there, Hezekiah Meyers, the rune pulled for you
- 2:14:58was Isa. OK, it's a bit self-explanatory.
- 2:15:07It's the Eye of Mordor. Oh, oh, here we go.
- 2:15:10Hezekiah is still here. Wonderful.
- 2:15:12All right, so Hezekiah, your rune pull is ESA.
- 2:15:17OK, And in pretty much all the rune poems, it means the same
- 2:15:22thing. It means ice and ice in the
- 2:15:29sense of right, there's ice is ice is one of those things.
- 2:15:35Obviously it's very cold, it freezes, it can kill.
- 2:15:39Well, but it's also water. It's also, it's also water
- 2:15:43though in the in, in the aspect that like water is
- 2:15:48scientifically goes through all stages, gas, liquid and solid.
- 2:15:56So it's malleable. So even in its, even in its
- 2:16:01solid form, ice as water is still in a sort of motion.
- 2:16:06It's still, it's not, it's paused motion is going to come
- 2:16:11when it thaws. But in its fluidity, in the
- 2:16:16water's fluidity, it is now stopped, it is paused.
- 2:16:18So there is some connections with Esau in the Rune Esau and
- 2:16:23it's it's meaning of ice as this sort of pause, stillness,
- 2:16:28isolation ideology, right. So there's, there's something
- 2:16:33about you focusing on you focusing on the isolation,
- 2:16:38focusing on the stillness, focusing on the pause.
- 2:16:40It's not about a fluid motion. It's about the pause of the
- 2:16:44motion to reflect or introspection or or things like
- 2:16:48is usually what ESA gets associated.
- 2:16:53With, but ice still can break stone.
- 2:17:03Yeah, ice is still, I mean, there's still a destructive
- 2:17:06element to ice the, the, the frozen aspect of it.
- 2:17:11It can, it can break stone, it can, it can erode rock, it can
- 2:17:19move mountains, you know, So there's a lot to the to the ice.
- 2:17:24Aspect here, here in Tennessee, I don't know where you live, but
- 2:17:29here in Tennessee, one of the most beautiful things that I've
- 2:17:32seen has been in between 2:00 train tunnels where all
- 2:17:41throughout the year it trickles down, but certain times of the
- 2:17:47year it's nothing but an ice cascade all the way around,
- 2:17:53about four foot thick and it is just solid icicles.
- 2:18:00You can. You can if you're good enough to
- 2:18:03break them off with your hand. It's literally as big as your
- 2:18:09hand. Oh yeah, dude, I'm from, I'm
- 2:18:12from the, the north where I mean, we're like icicles that
- 2:18:14would come from the water that leaked out of the mountain.
- 2:18:17It would form, it would form icicles that could probably the
- 2:18:22weight and, and and everything of them could, could Pierce the
- 2:18:25the the chassis of a car if given the chance.
- 2:18:29You know what I'm saying? Like they're massive and they
- 2:18:31don't thaw until the early like to the the late spring.
- 2:18:35So ice is dangerous. Ice is treacherous.
- 2:18:38And there's a lot about Esau that you can take metaphorically
- 2:18:42literally, you know, so that the stillness, the pause, the
- 2:18:45isolation, the the introspection that the what is you right is
- 2:18:51usually what gets, you know, it associated with most of the
- 2:18:54time. But yeah, there, there it is for
- 2:18:58you. All right, so some some comments
- 2:19:03I'm just going to catch up on. I don't count the murder of
- 2:19:06crows that are always around me, that my dad is making sure I
- 2:19:11know he's here and watching me. Well, crows see that.
- 2:19:17Godfrey Bear. That's from our northern bear.
- 2:19:20That will come into my realm, Corvis.
- 2:19:27So crows as creatures remember people.
- 2:19:33It's just been time and time documented on my own accounts.
- 2:19:45If there's a day I don't see a crow, I'm worried.
- 2:19:53They are pretty prolific. Ravens, not so much, but they
- 2:19:57do. They do make appearances here in
- 2:20:00in Middle Tennessee. Unless you're in.
- 2:20:02Unless you're in Texas and they call them crackles.
- 2:20:06They're not crows. They're not actual.
- 2:20:11Grass aren't crackles a thing? Or or or or.
- 2:20:15Like crackles? They're crackles.
- 2:20:17They just, they didn't. They just had.
- 2:20:19Somebody else there wannabe crows.
- 2:20:22Oh yeah, Posers, Posers Dragon alchemist, says Godfrey Bear.
- 2:20:30I had a mom black bear and her four babies in my yard this
- 2:20:33spring. That's what they do, right?
- 2:20:38I don't hurt anymore, says Godfrey Bear.
- 2:20:41I did it in my youth, but as I got closer, I became more and
- 2:20:44more at peace with nature. So now I will defend them
- 2:20:48instead. That's kind of what happens when
- 2:20:50you grow up A. Little bit of background about
- 2:20:53me and I'll just give you guys a little bit.
- 2:20:55I'm Cherokee Indian and. And you're welcome, Hezekiah.
- 2:21:04By the way, sorry to interrupt. But yes, yes, you're, you're
- 2:21:07more than welcome anytime. Being Cherokee, Indian and a
- 2:21:14Christian with a prolific background of rights and things
- 2:21:28of that nature have got me to the point to where I am now and
- 2:21:39being a gypsy. Romanian blood Cherokee and have
- 2:21:48traveled all over the country. I've never.
- 2:21:53I've went to Canada. Love Canadians.
- 2:21:56They're actually nicer than Americans.
- 2:22:00Oh, you got a Canadian in the chat, That's where.
- 2:22:02God. Yeah, yeah, I you guys are nice
- 2:22:04and. Americans, you stroke his ego
- 2:22:06now, I mean. They I I meant one asshole in
- 2:22:11Canada 1 the entire two weeks I was there.
- 2:22:16One, I mean the asshole. Everybody dude, not not say
- 2:22:21sorry. No, no, no, no.
- 2:22:24He was just, he was just a Dick. Like for whatever reason, I
- 2:22:29guess. I don't know.
- 2:22:31I just one. Just one.
- 2:22:35Yeah, but that and the air is cleaner up there.
- 2:22:38I do. I'd say the air is cleaner up
- 2:22:40there. Everyone's got one, like Omar
- 2:22:43said, yeah. Yeah, but yeah, any more room,
- 2:22:51Bulls? I don't think so, man.
- 2:22:53I think we got them all caught up.
- 2:22:54I'm just catching up, you know? Cat, Shepard says.
- 2:22:58You know, ice storms are beautiful but treacherous, yes.
- 2:23:00Absolutely want to pull all of this together and see what
- 2:23:08anybody wanna last room pull before we pull it all together.
- 2:23:14Yeah, Last call, we're going to wrap this podcast up here
- 2:23:18shortly anyway. We've been going for over 2,
- 2:23:20almost 2 1/2 hours, which is I think on a record, a podcast
- 2:23:23length. We've we've breached the the
- 2:23:26records of podcasts. So yeah, if anybody has the last
- 2:23:29one. Once going, twice sold.
- 2:23:35Sold to the man with the long all.
- 2:23:38Right, write these down you haven't already.
- 2:23:46Who, me? I guess I should, right?
- 2:23:48I'm the host. I should be the one that does
- 2:23:50it. That's correct, right?
- 2:23:53Yeah, K and Oz. Yeah, all.
- 2:23:56Right. First, that was the one that
- 2:24:00jumped out. Yep.
- 2:24:05Yeah, I don't know if that was anyone's room pool.
- 2:24:07That was just the one that started the whole thing,
- 2:24:09Othella. OK, Yep.
- 2:24:18And guys, correct us if we're wrong.
- 2:24:22Well, this is all subjective. Yep, gurus, because again, for
- 2:24:28the sake of the listeners, right, I don't do this thing
- 2:24:31live for my own reasons, but in the context of the show tonight
- 2:24:36makes for interesting dialogue and OK, when you
- 2:24:50righto. Yep, all.
- 2:24:54Right now. Now the righto pole had a.
- 2:25:06Righto pole came with algae and and like they got it right.
- 2:25:18Lagos, yeah, Yep. Yeah, so that was that was a
- 2:25:24pole separate, but it was still the same pole of this room said.
- 2:25:37Yeah, Yep, got it. And the final?
- 2:25:47So OK, here's what's interesting.
- 2:25:51Well. OK, you want.
- 2:25:55A room pull for you being the host.
- 2:25:59No, and I'll say why in just a minute, but thank you for the
- 2:26:06question, but thank you for the offer.
- 2:26:08The reason why is because we start off Canas Otala Urus Unyo
- 2:26:164, Rido Algis Lagos 3, Yera ISA 22.
- 2:26:28We need one more room. A final room pull fine 434321.
- 2:26:414321. I mean.
- 2:26:45Let's do it. Yeah, sure.
- 2:26:50Tell you what. I like your style.
- 2:27:03I like your style. It's fine.
- 2:27:07So OK, and then we have Solilu or Sol, which in all the room
- 2:27:21poems is the sun, right? So it it just soul in one room
- 2:27:25poems, Solilu or whatever in proto dramatic, but it is sun.
- 2:27:30Yeah, Wow. Yeah.
- 2:27:37So the sun is the shield of the clouds, a shining ray and a
- 2:27:41destroyer, as the rune poem. The Icelandic rune poem says a
- 2:27:46destroyer of ice. All.
- 2:27:50In the In the Anglo-Saxon the Anglo-Saxon room poem, the sun
- 2:27:55is ever a joy in the hope of seafarers when they journey away
- 2:27:58over the fish's bath until the courser of the deep bears them
- 2:28:03to land. In the English translation of
- 2:28:10the Norwegian room poem, it is. Sun is the light of the world.
- 2:28:14I bow to the divine decree in every room poem that exists, in
- 2:28:18every ancient room poem that exists.
- 2:28:20So willu soul is the sun. Just as Cat Shepard commented on
- 2:28:26in you on YouTube. There soul willu soul is the
- 2:28:29sun. It's largely associated with
- 2:28:33success, victory, brightness, the the, the, the the the life
- 2:28:38bringing light that what the sun is right, the destroyer of ice.
- 2:28:44It kind of breaches that that stillness, that pause.
- 2:28:50It's it's come to light now come to come to warmth, come to
- 2:28:53awakening. And it's a gentle sort of thing.
- 2:28:57It's it's it's not a bold awakening like what dog us would
- 2:29:01be perhaps, but it is the IT is the the cyclical nature of night
- 2:29:08and day. You know, there is times of
- 2:29:10darkness with the absence of the light and the life giving force
- 2:29:14of the sun and there is presence of that life giving light and
- 2:29:17that force of the sun. So it is cyclical.
- 2:29:23It happens every day. It happens all the time.
- 2:29:28Cat Shepherd says that worship the sun, worship no one.
- 2:29:34You know, it's an interesting concept to to take and thank you
- 2:29:37for the the reaction there O four O 4.
- 2:29:41So we have a 4321 sequence of rune polls tonight, Canas,
- 2:29:46Othella, Urus and Wenyo. In the first, one could perhaps
- 2:29:51say that the torch lights the way for those connecting with
- 2:29:56their ancestors. The the inner strength that you
- 2:30:01can pull from your ancestors. Along that along that journey is
- 2:30:07where your joy resides and where your happiness, where your bliss
- 2:30:11resides. Along the journey, the ride
- 2:30:15though, right along that flow, protection, protect yourselves.
- 2:30:23Along that journey, be ready to harvest the things that happen
- 2:30:30in their right time. Be present with yourself in that
- 2:30:34moment and welcome yourself in the awakening of that moment.
- 2:30:40In those victory moments, take take hold of that victory.
- 2:30:44Take hold of that light. Realize that the darkness
- 2:30:50happens and the light happens. It is cyclical.
- 2:30:52There is repetition, there is cycles of things that happen.
- 2:31:00Hello, Halen. Hello to you big cat on YouTube.

- 2:32:31It is the poor. Yeah, it's the, it's the, it's
- 2:32:35the, it's the flow restrictor or whatever the, the thing that
- 2:32:38pours it out. Yeah, and if you guys want to
- 2:32:40know what it is, Von Payne Black.
- 2:32:48Von Payne, Yeah, it really is a gargoyle cat.
- 2:32:53Bon Pain Black. It's it's a black currant
- 2:32:55whiskey that this son of a bitch over here, my brother that I
