- 0:00Speaker 1: We are joined now by Tim Barbalace, co host of
- 0:02Speaker 1: bird Land Territory, also does Ravens pregame and Orioles Road
- 0:06Speaker 1: post game pregames on one oh five point seven The Fan.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Get good to see you, Tim, Thank you so much
- 0:11Speaker 1: for being here. Let's talk a little bit about the
- 0:13Speaker 1: O's it just seems like a very broad stroke brush here.
- 0:16Speaker 1: They just don't seem to be able to have any
- 0:18Speaker 1: sort of traction right now, headed in the right direction.
- 0:22Speaker 1: An overview if you could please of what's going on
- 0:25Speaker 1: in Baltimore.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a very disappointing start to the season,
- 0:30Speaker 2: there's no way around it. Where we were talking a
- 0:34Speaker 2: lot heading into the season that it seemed like they
- 0:36Speaker 2: had an easy schedule and it ended up playing out
- 0:39Speaker 2: that way. Guys, they've played thirty six games and they've
- 0:42Speaker 2: only played seven games against teams with winning records. That's
- 0:47Speaker 2: the Pirates they got swept there, and then the Yankees
- 0:50Speaker 2: in which they got dominated in that four game series.
- 0:53Speaker 2: And despite that, there's still four games under five hundred
- 0:57Speaker 2: and this team has had several big time wins. His
- 1:00Speaker 2: six run comeback against the Diamondbacks, you thought that that
- 1:03Speaker 2: would build some momentum at that point, they won six
- 1:06Speaker 2: of seven and then they immediately dropped six of seven.
- 1:09Speaker 2: They just haven't been able to sustain any success, and
- 1:12Speaker 2: there's been so many disappointments throughout this season. Defense being
- 1:17Speaker 2: a top the list, it seems like they're just making
- 1:19Speaker 2: self inflicted mistakes at least once a game. Still waiting
- 1:23Speaker 2: for that lineup to be consistent. But this starting rotation.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I had a lot of high expectations for that group
- 1:30Speaker 2: heading into the year, and they just haven't delivered so far.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Why why'd you have high expectations? I mean, honestly, Bradish
- 1:38Speaker 3: hasn't been able to stay healthy.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Really.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Bassett, we saw he got moved to the bullpen for
- 1:42Speaker 3: the Blue Jays Rogers had a nice second half, but
- 1:45Speaker 3: he hasn't proven this over a long period of time.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Shane Base I love, but he also kind of hasn't
- 1:51Speaker 3: proven it over a full stretch of time. And then
- 1:54Speaker 3: if you go past that, then you're like, Okay, well
- 1:56Speaker 3: where are we at with Povich and some of these
- 1:58Speaker 3: other guys. So why did you have so much faith
- 2:00Speaker 3: in just starting rotation once Eflyn went down? Because to me,
- 2:04Speaker 3: this is still their biggest weakness and now you lose
- 2:07Speaker 3: Ryan Elsley. You can almost throw the bullpen in there
- 2:09Speaker 3: with that too. But why would you Why did you
- 2:11Speaker 3: have so much confidence in this starting rotation.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Well, it's funny that the bullpen.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I would say it was my biggest concern heading into
- 2:17Speaker 2: the year, that in the defense. But the bullpen's been
- 2:19Speaker 2: a pleasant surprise. But they've really fallen back down to
- 2:22Speaker 2: earth in the past week or so. As far as
- 2:26Speaker 2: the starting rotation, guys, you want to just look year
- 2:28Speaker 2: over year heading into opening day. Dean Kramer was on
- 2:33Speaker 2: this opening day roster last year he got sent down.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Zach Eflin was their ace last year, their opening day starter.
- 2:40Speaker 2: He ended up being slotted in as their number five.
- 2:43Speaker 2: And Kate Povich was in their starting rotation last year.
- 2:46Speaker 2: He was in Norfolk as well. So it was night
- 2:50Speaker 2: and day better on paper. Obviously, it hasn't planned played
- 2:54Speaker 2: out that way. Kyle Bradish has been a stud and
- 2:57Speaker 2: he's dealt with injuries.
- 2:59Speaker 4: But you can even go back to last.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Year when he came back off Tommy John for that
- 3:03Speaker 2: six seven start stretch, he was really really good.
- 3:06Speaker 4: He has not looked like Kyle Bradish this year. That
- 3:08Speaker 4: walks have.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Been a significant issue. Trevor Rodgers. He was unworldly last
- 3:14Speaker 2: year first three starts of the season. This year he
- 3:17Speaker 2: was really really good. Since that point, he's gotten guys
- 3:21Speaker 2: the two strikes. The craziest stat. Batters are hitting over
- 3:25Speaker 2: three hundred off Trevor Rodgers with two strikes this season.
- 3:29Speaker 2: He's just not been able to get that put away
- 3:31Speaker 2: pitch to those guys. And you're right, Bassett, it's been
- 3:36Speaker 2: a mess Shane base he has yet to really realize
- 3:39Speaker 2: that type of potential as well.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I just it's a concern.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It's a serious, serious concern, and I guess I did
- 3:48Speaker 2: end up overlooking it.
- 3:49Speaker 4: But on paper it was much better year over year.
- 3:54Speaker 5: But isn't pitching affected by defense.
- 3:56Speaker 6: I know we have so many analytics that says like,
- 4:00Speaker 6: you know, independent pitching, all that stuff, But to me,
- 4:03Speaker 6: when your defense and I want you to hit on
- 4:06Speaker 6: some of them, if you have any of the numbers
- 4:07Speaker 6: of their defense, because they're pretty abysmal.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Is crazy because there's so many guys.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Playing out of position from an organization that had so
- 4:14Speaker 6: much Oh my gosh, we could put together an entire
- 4:17Speaker 6: minor league team from Norfolk that could compete in the
- 4:20Speaker 6: big leagues, and now all these guys are here and
- 4:23Speaker 6: some of them are playing maybe out of position, and
- 4:26Speaker 6: yet like people are like, well the pitching's bad to me.
- 4:29Speaker 6: The defense doesn't make the place for them, and so
- 4:32Speaker 6: then they get put in a position to give up
- 4:35Speaker 6: a homer or not to get that strikeout when they
- 4:37Speaker 6: would have been out of the inning.
- 4:40Speaker 2: The defense has been abysmal this season. There's no way
- 4:43Speaker 2: around it. It's this is an organization. We talked about
- 4:47Speaker 2: it on my show locally on one of five seven
- 4:50Speaker 2: a lot yesterday. This organization doesn't prioritize defense.
- 4:54Speaker 4: They just haven't. They just they don't.
- 4:57Speaker 2: And a big issue that you see in the minor
- 4:59Speaker 2: leagues is they pride themselves on positional versatility. Well, if
- 5:04Speaker 2: you can play multiple positions and you're not really good
- 5:07Speaker 2: at either, what does it really matter?
- 5:09Speaker 4: And you're yo yelling so.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Many of these guys, where Kobe Mayo is a perfect example.
- 5:14Speaker 2: He's clearly not a third basement. But you know that
- 5:16Speaker 2: with how the roster is constructed and Jordan Westburg being hurt,
- 5:20Speaker 2: you're trying to shove a square peg into a round
- 5:23Speaker 2: hole there. But he's not a third baseman. This outfield
- 5:26Speaker 2: defense is a mess. Taylor Ward has been fantastic as
- 5:31Speaker 2: a batter this year, it's rough seeing him in the outfield.
- 5:35Speaker 2: There's guys not covering second base that happened yesterday. And
- 5:39Speaker 2: you can look at errors where I think they've made
- 5:41Speaker 2: the fifth most errors in baseball. But guys, it's the
- 5:44Speaker 2: plays that aren't ruled as errors, where you're giving guys
- 5:47Speaker 2: an extra ninety feet and giving guys an extra out.
- 5:52Speaker 2: It just can't happen. When you're a struggling ball club
- 5:55Speaker 2: like this, you cannot afford to have the amount of
- 5:58Speaker 2: self inflicted mistakes that they have. I was super concerned
- 6:02Speaker 2: about this defense heading into the season.
- 6:04Speaker 4: It's been much worse than expectations.
- 6:08Speaker 7: Tim. You talked about the errors, and there's one thing.
- 6:10Speaker 1: When you're making a physical error, you just can't get
- 6:12Speaker 1: to a play or whatever reason. But when you're making
- 6:14Speaker 1: mental errors, those are things that are going to keep
- 6:16Speaker 1: managers up at night. You also mentioned Jordan Westburg diagnosed
- 6:20Speaker 1: with that partially torn ligament. He's shut down from baseball activities.
- 6:24Speaker 1: What do they do with him? What's the decision? Do
- 6:27Speaker 1: they wait, do they have surgery? What happens with him?
- 6:31Speaker 2: I think the writing's on the wall at this point
- 6:33Speaker 2: when it comes to Jordan Westburg, where they just had
- 6:35Speaker 2: to shut him again because he's been experiencing some elbow issues.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I think it's Tommy John. It just always looks that way.
- 6:45Speaker 2: The PRP shot is far from a certainty, and it sucks.
- 6:48Speaker 2: It sucks for Jordan Westburg the player. It sucks for
- 6:51Speaker 2: the Orioles the team because Jordan Westburg is the glue
- 6:56Speaker 2: to this lineup. He is a former All Star. You
- 6:59Speaker 2: can look at the numbers from the day Jordan Westburg
- 7:01Speaker 2: got brought up in twenty twenty three to now. When
- 7:05Speaker 2: he is in the lineup compared to when he is
- 7:08Speaker 2: out of the lineup, the Orioles average close to half
- 7:12Speaker 2: a run more with Jordan Westburg in the lineup. He's
- 7:16Speaker 2: their most clutch player. You can look at his numbers
- 7:18Speaker 2: with runners and scoring position. You can look at his
- 7:20Speaker 2: numbers in Leyden close situations, he comes through, and he's
- 7:24Speaker 2: also a very solid third baseman. I think it's unfortunate,
- 7:28Speaker 2: but to me, the writing's on the wall. I think
- 7:31Speaker 2: he's going to end up getting Tommy John and it's
- 7:34Speaker 2: going to end his season.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Let's talk love life ft family. I know it's an
- 7:40Speaker 3: important part of everyone's life. But if you need help

- 7:47Speaker 5: Your love life.

- 8:33Speaker 8: you for sponsoring the podcast.
- 8:37Speaker 6: This is the team. This team they went on and
- 8:40Speaker 6: got pied Alonzo. They didn't make the big splash, and
- 8:43Speaker 6: you know, free agency pitching wise that we thought they would.
- 8:46Speaker 6: They got bas you know, they extended bos. This is
- 8:49Speaker 6: the team it is now. Is Craig Albernaz or the
- 8:52Speaker 6: people in the front office willing to make tough changes
- 8:57Speaker 6: that needs to turn that this team needs to turn
- 9:00Speaker 6: this team around in the sense of, you know what,
- 9:03Speaker 6: maybe Gunner Henderson's not necessarily the big lead shortstop of
- 9:06Speaker 6: the future. Would they be willing when Jackson comes Jackson
- 9:10Speaker 6: Holliday comes back, moving Gunner to third and putting Jackson
- 9:14Speaker 6: at short? Is he an upgrade at short because it
- 9:16Speaker 6: seems like defensive metrics, the way he moves around the field.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Possibly that would be a better connection. But does this team,
- 9:22Speaker 6: whatever the moves are, are the people that are in
- 9:25Speaker 6: charge of making those decisions willing to make those moves
- 9:29Speaker 6: or are they stuck with what they have? And these
- 9:30Speaker 6: guys just need to play better.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I don't really see a lever that they can pull.
- 9:38Speaker 2: And we know that Michael Aas has really struggled at
- 9:41Speaker 2: the trade deadline pretty much every single year is general manager,
- 9:45Speaker 2: especially as a buyer, he is not done enough to
- 9:48Speaker 2: recognize the moment as a buyer. As far as Gunner
- 9:52Speaker 2: moving him the third, I don't think Jackson Holliday can
- 9:55Speaker 2: play shortstop at the major league level. I just don't
- 9:58Speaker 2: think his arm is strong enough. Guys, Quite frankly, when
- 10:01Speaker 2: you look at Jackson Holiday, if anyone's looking at him
- 10:04Speaker 2: to be a savior, I don't think it's fair to
- 10:06Speaker 2: him because we've seen him get shut down a couple
- 10:10Speaker 2: of times with this ham a bone injury, and it's
- 10:13Speaker 2: been very fascinating just watching the progress. Corby and Carrol
- 10:16Speaker 2: Francisco Lindor, they both had the surgery the same time
- 10:19Speaker 2: as Jackson Holiday. They both obviously have been back for
- 10:23Speaker 2: quite some time. They were back for opening Day. Carrol's
- 10:26Speaker 2: been great, Lindor's struggled, and Jackson Holiday he's still waiting
- 10:31Speaker 2: to get back to his rehab assignment again. This will
- 10:34Speaker 2: be his third time. He took BP yesterday in either
- 10:40Speaker 2: double A affiliate, but they're waiting to see if that
- 10:43Speaker 2: responds well and then they'll put him in a rehab
- 10:46Speaker 2: stint this weekend. But you're talking about a twenty two
- 10:48Speaker 2: year old kid that had no spring training that's going
- 10:52Speaker 2: to be coming in in the middle of the season.
- 10:55Speaker 2: And oh, by the way, the guy that's replaced him
- 10:57Speaker 2: so far, Jeremiah Jackson's been a really pleasant surprise. I
- 11:01Speaker 2: don't even know if Jackson was playing as well as
- 11:06Speaker 2: Jeremiah Jackson last year at second base in terms of
- 11:09Speaker 2: defensively and especially offensively. With what Jeremiah Jackson was providing,
- 11:14Speaker 2: I think this is the club, guys, if they're looking
- 11:17Speaker 2: for any reinforcements, I ready told you I don't think
- 11:19Speaker 2: Jordan Westbrook's coming back. Ryan Helsley, it seems like they
- 11:23Speaker 2: got good news on him in terms of that elbow injury.
- 11:26Speaker 4: But this is the team. They need to figure it out.
- 11:30Speaker 2: And what's going in their favor is the fact that
- 11:33Speaker 2: the American League is just off to an awful start.
- 11:36Speaker 2: There's three teams with winning records in the American League.
- 11:40Speaker 2: But with that being said, this team can't afford to
- 11:43Speaker 2: continue to dig themselves into a deep hole like last year.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Tim.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I mean, we know Jackson holiday. I was going to
- 11:50Speaker 3: ask you where has he been Winsy coming back, because
- 11:53Speaker 3: it's weird. I had a handmaid and it was four
- 11:55Speaker 3: to six weeks and he's going on over too, well
- 11:57Speaker 3: over two months now, so it's strange to me. Also,
- 12:00Speaker 3: then my next question was going to be Jeremiah Jackson.
- 12:02Speaker 3: How good has he been, that's been their newfound guy
- 12:05Speaker 3: because he's been really good. Well, then, now that leads
- 12:07Speaker 3: me to when Jackson Holiday does come back, you gotta
- 12:10Speaker 3: play Jeremiah Jackson.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Where do you put him? Because he's got to stay
- 12:13Speaker 5: in the lineup. He's been too good.
- 12:15Speaker 3: He's been one of the guys that's been totally consistent
- 12:17Speaker 3: the entire year in Baltimore.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gonna be fascinating because when we were talking
- 12:23Speaker 2: at the beginning of the year and it looks like
- 12:25Speaker 2: Jackson Holiday would be back mid April, and that's been
- 12:28Speaker 2: far from the case at this point. Oh, Jeremiah Jackson
- 12:31Speaker 2: would be the corresponding move, right, you'd send him down? Well,
- 12:34Speaker 2: absolutely not. He's had some of the biggest hits for
- 12:37Speaker 2: this team this year. I think at worst, it's a
- 12:42Speaker 2: platoon situation. At second base, Jackson's right handed pat at
- 12:47Speaker 2: Jackson Holiday is a left handed bat. Jeremiah Jackson does
- 12:50Speaker 2: offer you some positional flexibility. He can play third base,
- 12:53Speaker 2: he can play in the outfield. They're gonna find ways
- 12:56Speaker 2: to keep that bat in the lineup because they have to.
- 12:59Speaker 2: But I firmly expect that they're going to slow play
- 13:02Speaker 2: Jackson Holiday when he does come back, and I just
- 13:06Speaker 2: think expectations need to be tempered. And you were talking
- 13:10Speaker 2: about the hamdmade injury. I think a lot of this
- 13:12Speaker 2: is mental, man. I really think a lot of this
- 13:15Speaker 2: is mental. When his last rehab assignment he was in
- 13:19Speaker 2: Frederick the High A team. Then in his first game
- 13:23Speaker 2: with the Tria A club in Norfolk, he ended up swinging,
- 13:27Speaker 2: striking out. He thought that he broke his hand again.
- 13:30Speaker 2: He ended up taking X rays. The x rays came
- 13:33Speaker 2: back clean. I think a lot of this right now
- 13:36Speaker 2: with Jackson Holiday is mental.
- 13:40Speaker 7: Tim.
- 13:40Speaker 1: You were talking about it on Birdland Territory a lot
- 13:43Speaker 1: about would it matter or would DFA somebody defaing somebody
- 13:48Speaker 1: or optioning somebody. Would that be a wake up call
- 13:52Speaker 1: that this club desperately needs? And if so, I mean,
- 13:54Speaker 1: is that even an option for people on this team.
- 14:00Speaker 2: It was funny talking to Brad Brock about that and
- 14:03Speaker 2: he was like, there was never a move in my
- 14:06Speaker 2: career where that happened. And really light a fire under
- 14:10Speaker 2: the clubhouse. And we've taken so many calls this week, man,
- 14:13Speaker 2: like oh DFA, this guy send down Kobe Mayos send
- 14:17Speaker 2: down Colden Cowser, Well, who are you bringing up? You know,
- 14:21Speaker 2: you can look at the Orioles farm system right now.
- 14:24Speaker 2: There's not a lot of top guys at the Triple
- 14:26Speaker 2: A level. There's not many reinforcements on the way. Enrique
- 14:29Speaker 2: Bradfield Junior, if you wanted to bring him up in
- 14:32Speaker 2: the outfield, well, he's hurt, he's been on the il,
- 14:34Speaker 2: he's been out the past couple of weeks. I just
- 14:37Speaker 2: don't think there's this magic move that's going to snap
- 14:41Speaker 2: this team into shape.
- 14:44Speaker 4: I just they need to figure it out.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Because I've been saying this month is gonna make or
- 14:49Speaker 2: break this ball club because heading into May, they had
- 14:53Speaker 2: one series against an AL East opponent, and that was
- 14:56Speaker 2: the Red Sox. They lost that series two games to one.
- 15:00Speaker 2: They combined seventeen games against the Yankees, the Rays, and
- 15:05Speaker 2: the Blue Jays in the month of May, and then
- 15:07Speaker 2: immediately to start June they have a series against the
- 15:10Speaker 2: Red Sox and the Blue Jays. They're either gonna be
- 15:13Speaker 2: buried or they're gonna tread water or maybe gain some ground.
- 15:17Speaker 2: You were going to find out so much about this
- 15:20Speaker 2: club by the end of May.
- 15:23Speaker 3: By the way, what happened to all the prospects? They
- 15:25Speaker 3: had so many position player prospects. What happened to them all?
- 15:29Speaker 3: If they had all the guys, remember they oh, we're
- 15:31Speaker 3: gonna send somebody down. We don't have anyone now to
- 15:33Speaker 3: replace them. But I thought they had prospect on prospect
- 15:36Speaker 3: on prospect. They had so many prospects and they never
- 15:38Speaker 3: wanted to trade any of them because they were all
- 15:40Speaker 3: such high value. And all of a sudden, they don't
- 15:42Speaker 3: have any prospects.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Wait, what happened?
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, Kyle Stouders and Counter Norby, they're seeing both of
- 15:52Speaker 2: them with the Marlins. This is a tough spot, man,
- 15:56Speaker 2: and the fan base. The fan base is pissed, and
- 16:00Speaker 2: and you know, you can say that it's early, you
- 16:02Speaker 2: can say that you're thirty six games in, but we
- 16:06Speaker 2: saw this play out last year, and of course you
- 16:10Speaker 2: got a lot of calls in the past couple of days.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Michaelias needs to go, Michael Olias needs to go. I'll
- 16:18Speaker 2: say this, there's a long way to go, and could
- 16:22Speaker 2: they turn it around. Absolutely, But if you go in
- 16:25Speaker 2: the worst case scenario and this team it finishes below
- 16:30Speaker 2: five hundred. Again, if you would have told Michaelias eight
- 16:35Speaker 2: years ago that you would be eight years in and
- 16:38Speaker 2: you would not have a playoff win and you would
- 16:41Speaker 2: be going backwards every single year since twenty twenty three,
- 16:47Speaker 2: when he won one hundred one games, What would you
- 16:49Speaker 2: consider that?
- 16:50Speaker 4: And he would consider it a failure.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And it's not that easy because of course there's a
- 16:56Speaker 2: looming lockout.
- 16:57Speaker 4: But this is unaccepted. There's no way around it.
- 17:01Speaker 2: This is unacceptable year eight in this regime, when you
- 17:05Speaker 2: had to tell a fan base at the beginning of this, hey,
- 17:08Speaker 2: we're gonna tank, We're gonna suck for four years, lose
- 17:11Speaker 2: over one hundred games in all those years to build
- 17:14Speaker 2: a sustained winner, and for you to be going backwards
- 17:20Speaker 2: since that high point in twenty twenty three, it's it's
- 17:22Speaker 2: not acceptable.
- 17:24Speaker 6: Some people, when I work construction, some people can build
- 17:27Speaker 6: a house. Some people can do fine trim and to me,
- 17:31Speaker 6: I think Michaelias can build a house, but you need
- 17:34Speaker 6: somebody to make it look nice on the inside to
- 17:36Speaker 6: win the championship. I'm gonna go completely opposite here. I'm
- 17:40Speaker 6: going to go something positive. Of these three sluggers, Pete Alonzo,
- 17:46Speaker 6: Adlie Ruchman and Samuel Bissio, who ends up having the
- 17:51Speaker 6: more productive year at the plate with.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Pete coming on hot.
- 17:55Speaker 6: Adlee has been doing really well, and I think Basaiyo
- 17:58Speaker 6: has been a little up and down, but I feel
- 17:59Speaker 6: like he's trending up now.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Who has the best year at the end of the.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Season, That's a great question.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Look Sam swinging a red hot bat right now. He
- 18:10Speaker 2: was a home run away from the cycle last night.
- 18:12Speaker 2: In that game, he ended up getting pinch hit for
- 18:15Speaker 2: in the ninth inning and Craig alvern as he pushed
- 18:17Speaker 2: the right button. Adley Rutschman came in hit the go
- 18:20Speaker 2: ahead RBI single. Adley looks night and day, different man
- 18:25Speaker 2: night and day, because the past year and a half
- 18:28Speaker 2: it has been a serious struggle for him. He's looking
- 18:31Speaker 2: like early career Adley. He's looking like all star Adley Rutchman.
- 18:37Speaker 2: But if I had to choose from the three, and
- 18:39Speaker 2: I do think all three will have good years, I
- 18:42Speaker 2: am buying into Adlei Samuel Besi I was twenty one
- 18:45Speaker 2: years old.
- 18:46Speaker 4: His raw power is just stupid guys, But.
- 18:49Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna go with the guy with the
- 18:51Speaker 2: track record, man like Pete Alonso. He got off to
- 18:55Speaker 2: that really rough start, and I go back to it
- 18:58Speaker 2: was the first game of the Giant Series a couple
- 19:01Speaker 2: of weeks ago, and Pete meeting with the media was
- 19:04Speaker 2: so emotional. It sounded like he was on the verge
- 19:07Speaker 2: of tears. He was so upset taking this rough start,
- 19:12Speaker 2: so personally saying he's letting everybody down, he's letting the
- 19:15Speaker 2: team down, he's letting the city down. Since that point,
- 19:17Speaker 2: guy's twenty two games, he's got a nine to forty ops,
- 19:21Speaker 2: five homers, fourteen RBIs the Polar Bears back, and he
- 19:26Speaker 2: was one of the only guys that showed up in
- 19:28Speaker 2: that Yankee series, hitting two home runs, hitting a couple
- 19:31Speaker 2: more extra base hits. I'm gonna roll with the guy
- 19:34Speaker 2: with the track record, and that's Pete Alonso.
- 19:37Speaker 8: You know, we don't always have to do things because
- 19:39Speaker 8: that's how it's always been.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Look, people consider me old school, and I thought I was,
- 19:44Speaker 3: but then we had the pitch clock and the ABS
- 19:46Speaker 3: and ban on shifts and all these things that we've
- 19:48Speaker 3: had for a long time in baseball. And you know what,
- 19:50Speaker 3: much like Mitt Mobile and the other mobile carriers, I'm
- 19:53Speaker 3: here for the new school and the changes that have
- 19:55Speaker 3: been made.
- 19:56Speaker 5: It's a good call.

- 20:50Speaker 7: It's great to be with you. Thank you for doing this.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I'd rather hear your opinion on the matter because you
- 20:55Speaker 1: were there, You're in the situation. We can pontificate as
- 20:58Speaker 1: much as we want, but I would like to know
- 21:00Speaker 1: your opinion on kind of what went down in that
- 21:03Speaker 1: at bad against Trevor's story with with fromber on the
- 21:06Speaker 1: Hill and and and you know what your what your
- 21:09Speaker 1: opinion of it.
- 21:10Speaker 10: Is, uh, yeah, I was there.
- 21:15Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean it's it's unfortunate obviously, but uh, I'm
- 21:20Speaker 11: just glad nothing escalated and no one got hurt, and
- 21:25Speaker 11: hopefully we can just move on and uh salvage the
- 21:29Speaker 11: series today.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Very very politically correct answer to Tork, I love it,
- 21:34Speaker 3: and I just I'm not even gonna ask me about
- 21:36Speaker 3: it because I saw you, I saw your back of
- 21:39Speaker 3: your name. I just have one question for you. When
- 21:41Speaker 3: you go in the clubhouse today, go to Joey Krer
- 21:43Speaker 3: and say, Joey, why were you nowhere near anything that
- 21:46Speaker 3: was happening. Joey cor was still standing in the third
- 21:49Speaker 3: base coaching box like he was not allowed. So please
- 21:52Speaker 3: ask Joey for me why he didn't get in the
- 21:54Speaker 3: middle of it.
- 21:55Speaker 10: I'll do that.
- 21:56Speaker 11: I'll do that, and I Greeny was given McGonagall and said,
- 21:59Speaker 11: if I ever beat you from left field again, you
- 22:01Speaker 11: know we're gonna have a problem.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Yes, exactly.
- 22:04Speaker 3: That was always go to the tape and you look
- 22:06Speaker 3: and see who's in the middle of it, and then
- 22:08Speaker 3: there's always the one person like you see Hinches in
- 22:10Speaker 3: the middle of it there, and you know, you know,
- 22:12Speaker 3: Greeny beat mcgonaga's probably never been into anything like that,
- 22:15Speaker 3: so he was like, what do I do? But Joey Korra,
- 22:18Speaker 3: he was accused one time of biting a guy's leg
- 22:20Speaker 3: in a famous fight in Chicago. So I know that
- 22:23Speaker 3: he's got that chihuahua in him. So please just ask
- 22:26Speaker 3: him why he didn't go, why he wasn't any part
- 22:27Speaker 3: of it?
- 22:28Speaker 10: All right, I didn't know that. That's good knowledge, Thank you.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Yes, ask him if he still has John Mabray's leg
- 22:36Speaker 3: tissue in his teeth.
- 22:38Speaker 5: A right?
- 22:39Speaker 10: That will?
- 22:40Speaker 5: Hi?
- 22:41Speaker 6: Like you're I mean, listen on Baseball Reference, you're six
- 22:45Speaker 6: one twenty right now. Like I don't know what ABS
- 22:49Speaker 6: says you are. You might be more like six foot
- 22:51Speaker 6: or maybe six two, I don't know. But what guy
- 22:54Speaker 6: do you pick out on the Red Sox when this
- 22:58Speaker 6: happens because you can't like you can't go and like
- 23:01Speaker 6: hold framber back. You're the first baseman, You're you're right
- 23:04Speaker 6: in there. You got to get somebody from the dugout.
- 23:07Speaker 6: Do you pick a guy like Urban who's short and little,
- 23:12Speaker 6: or do you say, where's Garrett Crochet? I want all
- 23:16Speaker 6: of that six seven right now?
- 23:20Speaker 11: You know, I think when you're one of the first
- 23:21Speaker 11: guys out there. You don't really get to pick. It's
- 23:24Speaker 11: kind of the first one that that comes after your guy.
- 23:28Speaker 11: But luckily nothing, none of that happened, and.
- 23:32Speaker 10: We're all good.
- 23:32Speaker 3: You know, nobody Hey, nobody wanted any part of Wilson
- 23:37Speaker 3: ConTroll so I know the hitch was even.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Like, hey, hey, hey, come down, Wilson, please calm down. No, no, no, yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 6: Exactly is it talked about when you're playing the Red
- 23:48Speaker 6: Sox that there is fear of Hey, control your signs,
- 23:56Speaker 6: close your signs up, make sure you can't see him
- 23:58Speaker 6: from first make sure you know the glove is covered
- 24:01Speaker 6: up at second base? Do you hear that conversation? So
- 24:04Speaker 6: your own defense looking for it before they were they've
- 24:07Speaker 6: been accused of, you know, their their coaches being outside
- 24:10Speaker 6: of the coaches box. Now they got to be in.
- 24:13Speaker 6: Is that something as a first baseman you have to
- 24:15Speaker 6: watch for when you play a team that's been accused
- 24:18Speaker 6: of that stuff, like the Red Sox.
- 24:20Speaker 10: You're definitely aware of it. It's not just the Red Sox.
- 24:23Speaker 11: I feel like it's just part of the game at
- 24:25Speaker 11: at all levels, but a lot a lot of the
- 24:27Speaker 11: big league level. Any edge you can get, you know,
- 24:32Speaker 11: even you know you don't, you don't want to, you know,
- 24:37Speaker 11: pay too much attention to it because you still got
- 24:39Speaker 11: to make pitches.
- 24:40Speaker 10: I feel like.
- 24:41Speaker 11: But there's nothing that's kind of exaggerated when you're playing
- 24:48Speaker 11: the Red Sox. It's it's with every team. You want
- 24:50Speaker 11: to hide your glove, you want to positioning, you don't
- 24:54Speaker 11: want to you know, cheat two steps to your right
- 24:56Speaker 11: too early or whatever it is because you know what
- 24:59Speaker 11: what pitches co and are the catchers setting up earlier
- 25:02Speaker 11: setting up late. It's just part of the game. And uh,
- 25:06Speaker 11: I think it's something to be aware of regardless of
- 25:10Speaker 11: regardless of who you're playing.
- 25:11Speaker 10: But it's definitely a thing. I mean, big league.
- 25:14Speaker 11: It's really hard to hit in the big leagues when
- 25:17Speaker 11: you don't know what's coming. It's hard to hit when
- 25:18Speaker 11: you do have something coming from second base.
- 25:21Speaker 10: So uh yeah, all I want to know is this.
- 25:25Speaker 3: When I saw you guys on Saturday, you and Riley,
- 25:27Speaker 3: you guys have lockers next to each other. Okay, people
- 25:30Speaker 3: don't know this. You guys were chowing down on gummy skittles.
- 25:33Speaker 11: Was it Starbar's jelly beans?
- 25:36Speaker 5: The Star jelly beans? That's a best.
- 25:40Speaker 3: So what I want to know is did you keep
- 25:42Speaker 3: them in your gu and Riley keep them in your pocket?
- 25:44Speaker 3: And then when you need like a power pellet, you
- 25:45Speaker 3: guys fire one in like Beast Mode used to do.
- 25:48Speaker 3: And then is that why you finally got to the
- 25:51Speaker 3: five homers and get five home runs in five games?
- 25:54Speaker 5: Club? You know?
- 25:55Speaker 3: Is that how you got to the to the club?
- 25:57Speaker 3: So welcome to the club. High five?
- 25:59Speaker 11: That that's a idea actually, but no, that's mostly just
- 26:03Speaker 11: like we're bored.
- 26:04Speaker 10: We got thirty minutes till a meeting and.
- 26:07Speaker 11: We're not even hungry, and we got Starbus jelly beans
- 26:11Speaker 11: right in our locker.
- 26:13Speaker 10: But it's part of my wife's kind of partly to blame.
- 26:15Speaker 11: She went to Costco like a month ago, brought that
- 26:18Speaker 11: home and I'm like, absolutely not, No, this is not
- 26:20Speaker 11: going to be in the kitchen. This is going into
- 26:23Speaker 11: Greenies locker to have a little bit of discipline, all.
- 26:27Speaker 6: Right, Spencer though that that brings up another point. I
- 26:30Speaker 6: said something last week on the show that like probably
- 26:33Speaker 6: was taken out of context, But if I told you
- 26:38Speaker 6: you ate five jelly beans before every at bat, you
- 26:42Speaker 6: would be you would have your hottest season of all time,
- 26:46Speaker 6: would you do it? You're trying to be you're trying
- 26:48Speaker 6: to be healthy. You're not trying to put stuff in
- 26:50Speaker 6: Like how many jelly beans would you have to eat
- 26:52Speaker 6: before each at bat? Where you'd be like, no, I
- 26:54Speaker 6: can't do that, I can't survive. I gotta find another way.
- 26:59Speaker 11: I use some great than five jelly beans before every
- 27:02Speaker 11: ab what's the number?
- 27:03Speaker 5: How many would you do? Thirty?
- 27:07Speaker 10: Yeah? Without question?
- 27:09Speaker 11: I I mean, I don't know what the number is,
- 27:14Speaker 11: but jelly beans go down pretty easy.
- 27:18Speaker 5: That's one hundred and jelly beans a day. Sorry, that's
- 27:21Speaker 5: just a lot.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Hundred and fifty jelly beans. Let's say, were you doing
- 27:24Speaker 1: that when you had five straight games with the home run?
- 27:27Speaker 1: What were you doing differently in those games that you
- 27:30Speaker 1: weren't doing in the first twenty three?
- 27:32Speaker 10: Uh?
- 27:34Speaker 11: I see if I had an answer for you, I
- 27:37Speaker 11: I wish I did, like I wish I could put
- 27:40Speaker 11: some finger on it. But everything kind of lined up.
- 27:45Speaker 11: You know, I was always seeing the ball well before
- 27:49Speaker 11: the homers. I was putting good swings on the ball.
- 27:51Speaker 11: I just some some weird about baseball is you know,
- 27:56Speaker 11: you don't see a home run, see the ball leave
- 27:59Speaker 11: the yard or you don't feel that swing in a
- 28:01Speaker 11: while and then all of a sudden you feel it
- 28:03Speaker 11: and it's just that much easy to repeat. But there's nothing,
- 28:08Speaker 11: there's nothing that that I changed or started doing or
- 28:12Speaker 11: didn't do. Is samness is greatness.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Tork I got one more of jelly bean question for you.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Have you been the universal and had the everything beans
- 28:22Speaker 3: from Harry Potter that they saw the jelly beans?
- 28:25Speaker 10: Of course? Yeah?
- 28:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 3: What if you just had to pick five random ones
- 28:28Speaker 3: and like one was barf and one was you know,
- 28:31Speaker 3: bo and then three of them still you would still
- 28:34Speaker 3: do it?
- 28:35Speaker 10: Doesn't matter? Yeah, okay, okay, that's fair.
- 28:37Speaker 3: I just I just didn't know if it had to
- 28:39Speaker 3: be just starbars jelly beans.
- 28:43Speaker 6: No, okay, you'll do anything for some knocks, But talk
- 28:48Speaker 6: about it.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Talk about that streak. Did you guys have an off
- 28:52Speaker 5: day in there?
- 28:53Speaker 6: Was it something that you were like, there's no Was
- 28:55Speaker 6: there a point where you did it realize?
- 28:58Speaker 5: Was it three games in a row you were like,
- 29:00Speaker 5: oh man, tomorrow I could hit four in a row.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Like did it start to become like nerve wracking? Not
- 29:08Speaker 6: because you were like getting close to like a record
- 29:10Speaker 6: or anything, but you start talking about guys who have
- 29:12Speaker 6: a twenty game hit streak, a thirty game hit streak,
- 29:15Speaker 6: five homer streak is incredible. Even if AJ did it,
- 29:19Speaker 6: which he wasn't that great of a home run hit
- 29:21Speaker 6: or he was just he was just annoying. That was
- 29:23Speaker 6: the big that was his biggest superpower.
- 29:27Speaker 10: No off days.
- 29:29Speaker 11: I don't think no no off days. I didn't really
- 29:33Speaker 11: notice anything until but I think after the fourth I
- 29:37Speaker 11: was like, oh, I feel like I've hit a home
- 29:39Speaker 11: run like pretty consistently. And then the fifth day I
- 29:44Speaker 11: kind of had it on my mind. I'm like, dude,
- 29:46Speaker 11: what are we doing? Like why? Why doesn't matter? I
- 29:51Speaker 11: don't need to hit a home run today. And I
- 29:53Speaker 11: felt free up there, and my swing felt good and
- 29:56Speaker 11: my I was seeing the ball well and I just
- 29:58Speaker 11: put good swings on the ball, and another one, and
- 30:00Speaker 11: then game six. We did have an off day in
- 30:05Speaker 11: Atlanta before the six game, where I obviously didn't hit
- 30:10Speaker 11: a home run, and.
- 30:12Speaker 10: There was not a lot of pressure on myself to
- 30:16Speaker 10: go out and.
- 30:17Speaker 11: Hit another one, other than I really would have liked to,
- 30:19Speaker 11: because hitting home runs is one of the most fun
- 30:23Speaker 11: things to do in the entire world.
- 30:24Speaker 10: But nothing crazy.
- 30:27Speaker 7: That's when you don't want an off day. All right.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I have to ask you about the rock of the staff,
- 30:33Speaker 1: Terrek Scooble, what was that like for you, torqu when
- 30:35Speaker 1: you guys heard that he was hit in the il
- 30:39Speaker 1: because you guys, obviously I would imagine love when he
- 30:41Speaker 1: takes the ball every fifth day. I mean, did the
- 30:43Speaker 1: win just kind of go out of your sales when
- 30:44Speaker 1: you heard that news?
- 30:47Speaker 10: It definitely hurts.
- 30:48Speaker 11: I mean, all of our guys we love and care
- 30:50Speaker 11: about and that are, you know, help us win a
- 30:53Speaker 11: lot of baseball games.
- 30:54Speaker 10: And especially our horror Scoop.
- 30:58Speaker 11: I think I definitely hurt as a group, but we
- 31:01Speaker 11: got to just kind of attack it with the next
- 31:04Speaker 11: man up, and you know, it's a long year to
- 31:07Speaker 11: play one hundred and sixty games for a reason. He's
- 31:10Speaker 11: gonna be back and he's gonna be better than ever
- 31:11Speaker 11: we believe, and I mean he's one of the most
- 31:14Speaker 11: resilient people I've ever met, So there's no doubt in
- 31:17Speaker 11: my mind that he's going to be back with a vengeance.
- 31:20Speaker 10: And gonna help us make a deep playoff. Bush.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Were you on the field when he called Dangler out?
- 31:28Speaker 10: Yep?
- 31:29Speaker 6: When that mound visit happened? Did you think anything of it?
- 31:33Speaker 6: Because I honestly have never seen a picture tell his
- 31:36Speaker 6: catcher hold my glove and then like work his elbow
- 31:41Speaker 6: out and then go out and strike the next three
- 31:44Speaker 6: dudes out and be like okay, like like what was
- 31:47Speaker 6: that conversation when you were on the man?
- 31:49Speaker 5: What did you hear?
- 31:49Speaker 6: What did you hear him saying? Or how did it
- 31:52Speaker 6: end up that he stayed in the game after he
- 31:54Speaker 6: did all that?
- 31:57Speaker 10: It was scary.
- 31:57Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean whenever a picture he kind of calls
- 32:00Speaker 11: time and grabs his arm, it's like, all right, what's
- 32:03Speaker 11: going on? Very scary, and then you obviously add scoom
- 32:08Speaker 11: to that, it's it's probably even more scary. But yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 11: I mean he's a horse that shows you uh type
- 32:17Speaker 11: of competitor he is. Because but I didn't really hear
- 32:20Speaker 11: much of the conversation. He tried to give them as
- 32:22Speaker 11: much space as possible with the with skip and the
- 32:26Speaker 11: training staff, and but he's I think he just said
- 32:29Speaker 11: he just felt something weird and needed a second, and
- 32:32Speaker 11: then obviously took a second through a couple you know,
- 32:36Speaker 11: warm up pitches and then punch punch more tickets, which
- 32:40Speaker 11: is unbelievable with actually what was going.
- 32:42Speaker 3: On, Spencer, I got to ask you about your shortstop mcgonag. Yeah,
- 32:49Speaker 3: have you ever seen a rookie that can do what
- 32:50Speaker 3: he does with his skill set? I mean he's he's
- 32:52Speaker 3: better defensively than I thought when I watched him play
- 32:55Speaker 3: this past weekend. His contact rate is obviously unbelievable. He's
- 32:59Speaker 3: a little guy that takes big swings. It's not like
- 33:02Speaker 3: he's up there. You know, people think he's Luisa Rise
- 33:04Speaker 3: and he's just kind of that in the ball around.
- 33:07Speaker 3: I mean, this dude, he loads it up and he
- 33:09Speaker 3: takes big swings.
- 33:10Speaker 5: Have you ever seen anybody with this skill set this young.
- 33:14Speaker 10: No, I I haven't.
- 33:15Speaker 11: I mean he's he's an absolute gamer and that yeah,
- 33:19Speaker 11: good point.
- 33:19Speaker 10: On the glove.
- 33:20Speaker 11: I mean I never really watched him play, just saw
- 33:22Speaker 11: his statistics and through the minor leagues and obviously danged.
- 33:27Speaker 11: I think some people had questions like where's he gonna play?
- 33:31Speaker 11: He can play anywhere, and I have, you know, full
- 33:34Speaker 11: confidence in wherever he is, whether he's shortstop or third
- 33:37Speaker 11: base or anything. But I mean that the types of
- 33:42Speaker 11: swings that he takes consistently with that contact rate is uh.
- 33:49Speaker 10: Special. I mean you can't teach it. He sees the
- 33:53Speaker 10: ball better.
- 33:54Speaker 11: Than anyone obviously, hand eye coordination unreal, and then he's
- 33:59Speaker 11: always balance. It seems like he's taken absolute g hacks,
- 34:03Speaker 11: but he's controlled to controlled GI hack and he has
- 34:06Speaker 11: some serious pop.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Did you have conversations with him, Spencer about just being
- 34:12Speaker 1: you know, an overall top pick and just the expectations
- 34:15Speaker 1: that come with being that highly regarded. Did you guys
- 34:19Speaker 1: have conversations about that, because you obviously shared in that
- 34:22Speaker 1: and that same type of thing.
- 34:24Speaker 11: To be honest, he didn't really need any conversation. He's uh,
- 34:28Speaker 11: he's just an absolute competitor. And I don't know if
- 34:32Speaker 11: he feels much pressure with the expectations that were put
- 34:36Speaker 11: on him, you know, before the season, then obviously now
- 34:39Speaker 11: after signing extension.
- 34:40Speaker 10: He doesn't really show it.
- 34:42Speaker 11: I think he plays extremely hard and he has a
- 34:45Speaker 11: plan and that that probably distracts any expectation that he
- 34:51Speaker 11: might put on himself. But I think the only conversations
- 34:54Speaker 11: we had were in spring training where he's like, Bro,
- 34:56Speaker 11: they haven't told me I made the team yet.
- 34:58Speaker 10: I'm like, dude, shut up, you made the team. Just
- 35:01Speaker 10: you're not gonna.
- 35:01Speaker 11: Tell you yet, but you gotta don't be done here.
- 35:05Speaker 11: You're one of our best players, like we need you
- 35:07Speaker 11: on this team. Just stay healthy and keep grinding because
- 35:12Speaker 11: you made the team.
- 35:14Speaker 5: All right.
- 35:14Speaker 6: I got a two part question. First part is what
- 35:16Speaker 6: kind of rookie is he? Because everybody sees how perfect
- 35:20Speaker 6: he is on the field, but you guys as a
- 35:23Speaker 6: team give him a hard time. And the second part
- 35:26Speaker 6: is when's that meal coming? Because I heard you guys
- 35:29Speaker 6: were supposed to go and have the meal that he
- 35:31Speaker 6: was gonna pay for every guy's extension, but conveniently you
- 35:35Speaker 6: guys had a rein out or the game got delayed.
- 35:40Speaker 10: Yep, he's been an awesome rookie.
- 35:44Speaker 11: He asked questions, and we all give him a hard
- 35:48Speaker 11: time just because that's what you do. But he wears it,
- 35:52Speaker 11: and I mean, he's an unbelievable dude. That dinner, yeah,
- 35:55Speaker 11: that dinner is not going to be forgotten. We're gonna
- 35:57Speaker 11: we're gonna get that done. And we have some wealthy
- 36:01Speaker 11: players that know how to order, you know, wealthy wine.
- 36:05Speaker 11: So I feel bad for him, but you know, it's
- 36:08Speaker 11: what that's what he deserves, and we're gonna do it right.
- 36:12Speaker 5: Tork, let's move.
- 36:14Speaker 3: You know what, we haven't really talked about We haven't
- 36:16Speaker 3: talked about you enough, So I want to talk about
- 36:17Speaker 3: you for a second.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Here.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Do you and Riley Green feed off each other? Because
- 36:21Speaker 3: you got every time I see one of y'all, I
- 36:23Speaker 3: see the other one. So I see you, I see Riley.
- 36:25Speaker 3: It's like one of you guys has following the other
- 36:27Speaker 3: one to the cage or to eat or eating jelly
- 36:30Speaker 3: beans or whatever. Do you guys just sit around all
- 36:32Speaker 3: day twenty four to seven and just talk baseball and
- 36:35Speaker 3: talk swings and talk hitting and talk baseball because I've
- 36:39Speaker 3: never I've honestly, every time I've been around the Detroit Tigers,
- 36:43Speaker 3: it has been Spencer Tarklesen and Riley Green. I mean,
- 36:46Speaker 3: you guys are like this. It's like, woo, you guys
- 36:48Speaker 3: can't more than five feet. It's like you guys have
- 36:50Speaker 3: a magnet and bring yourself back together.
- 36:53Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean we're best friends.
- 36:55Speaker 11: It I mean ever since I got drafted, we went
- 36:58Speaker 11: to the alt site, we've been, Uh, we've developed a relationship.
- 37:02Speaker 11: And I mean he's he was in my wedding. He's
- 37:06Speaker 11: he's my guy, and uh, we're not always talking baseball.
- 37:09Speaker 11: We're talking golf, and he not always baseball. You'd be
- 37:16Speaker 11: surprised how not often we talk baseball, but uh no,
- 37:22Speaker 11: we uh we have a good time, and I think
- 37:23Speaker 11: we do feed off each other, whether it's you know,
- 37:26Speaker 11: in the cage or on the field or you know,
- 37:27Speaker 11: we're always challenging each other and kind of making a
- 37:31Speaker 11: little friendly competition with each other.
- 37:35Speaker 10: So, I mean, he's he's easy to root for too, So,
- 37:39Speaker 10: uh he's my guy.
- 37:41Speaker 6: What's the one shot that he takes at you? And
- 37:43Speaker 6: what's the one shot that you take at him?
- 37:47Speaker 5: Uh?
- 37:50Speaker 11: I feel like he's always telling me. He's like, bro,
- 37:52Speaker 11: you need to just use the whole field. I'm like Greening,
- 37:55Speaker 11: I'm trying. I'm trying, and uh, I don't know. I
- 38:02Speaker 11: feel like I sometimes get on him. I'm like green
- 38:04Speaker 11: if you're if you're late to another hitters count heater,
- 38:07Speaker 11: like we're gonna call.
- 38:10Speaker 10: But it's just it's friendly banter.
- 38:12Speaker 11: It's nothing crazy, Spencer.
- 38:16Speaker 1: We appreciate it, man, it's been a while since we've
- 38:18Speaker 1: had you on the show. Always appreciate you taking the time,
- 38:20Speaker 1: being a good sport. I know AJ and Eric like
- 38:23Speaker 1: to give you grief, but you're a you're a good
- 38:24Speaker 1: sport about it.
- 38:25Speaker 7: We appreciate it. Thanks for coming on, best to luck,
- 38:27Speaker 7: to you guys.
- 38:28Speaker 10: Thank you
