  After winning the Super Bowl with the Chiefs so for him to go back to the Chiefs

  You know that person on your team could be coming could be coming to you say hey listen

  You know do you have your you know your iPad or playbook or you know, how however they do things now and

  You know, it's tough. It's tough because it's not it's not really a guarantee that you're going to

  You know stay on a roster one. It's hard

  It is because every single thing that you do right or wrong is being judged, right?

  And you know, it's it's one of those things where basically, you know, you better hope you don't get hurt because if you get hurt

  You know, that's time that you're gonna have to miss and by then, you know

  If you're not if you're not if you haven't shown a lot, you know in

  Training camp and especially in the preseason. Oh, they'll just give you a body out

  So it's definitely a very tough situation and a tough moment

  For a lot of players who are in limbo, right?

  Because as much as we see the star players, you also have to have the day-to-day players as well

  The star receiver or the star pass rusher or the star quarterback or you know the star offensive lineman or you know, who whomever, right?

  And you know, I do feel like it is important that we you know that we highlight this because a lot of people say

  Oh, no, they're just a bomb. Oh, no, they don't know they shouldn't be in the league, but it's like

  Bro, this is it's competitive. It's very competitive. It's a very competitive lead

  That you know, there are someone in limbo. They you know, they they think okay

  If I don't make it on this team within as long as my tape is good

  Maybe I'll have another opportunity somewhere else and most of the times it does happen

  But there are also times where it doesn't happen and so you know

  So, you know if you if you're one of those people that wants to be a newb and you know wants to you know

  Yeah buyers buyers and sellers and that's probably gonna be the title for this episode because I thought about it a few weeks ago

  I was like, you know, we definitely do have to put out an episode before cut downs and whatnot

  So when we look at it, you know from a from from a league wide standpoint

  There's not one roster that is like, you know, oh, this is a perfect roster
• 9:57
  There's no holes on on the roster on both sides of the ball

  Everything is great this than the other blah blah blah. It's not it's not every roster has a hole

  Now the question is how big is the hole?

  Is it a hole where they need to get somebody?

  Immediately in order to patch it up or do they need to get two or three players?

  To possibly, you know, try to you know somewhat stop the bleeding per se

  With whatever the situation is and a lot of times of these things happen

  I'm especially as the season progress because players get hurt injuries happen people get traded all those different types of things, right?

  But at the same time though, we do have to somewhat identify

  Identify teams that will be more buyers and sellers because a lot of times this is somewhat in my mind somewhat of a

  of a start to what could possibly be for the trade deadline, right?

  Because and this is just this is just a theory that I've somewhat come up with a lot of times where if there's not a lot of

  Activity going on as far as like trades and whatnot

  During during the cut down, you know timeframe that most likely translate to somewhat of a very
• 11:15
  Minimal trade activity when it comes to the trade deadline later into the season, right?
• 11:20
  But if you see more activity though, that's when you see a more robust or more active trade deadline
• 11:26
  Which I mean, let's be honest here

  We all love the trade deadline because it's basically a day of nonstop
• 11:33
  You know news from the minute you wake up to the minute that you go to sleep
• 11:38
  It's just nothing but trades trades trades and trades
• 11:41
  But you know, I think we do have to identify
• 11:44
  You know just a few teams that will be both buyers sellers or maybe even both honestly

  So for me personally, I definitely do think teams like the Steelers will probably be buyers because

  They have you know, they still have a lot of pressing needs and you know

  I think they realize that you know, one of their strongest
• 12:05
  Groups is now one of their weakest groups with offensive line because you have Troy for Titan who's hurt
• 12:11
  You have Dylan Cook who's gonna be out for multiple weeks. You have
• 12:16
  Nate Herbic who's out for the season of the Torum rotator cuff
• 12:20
  project Jones is hurt, right and
• 12:23
  Well, too well too well, does that it? I think that's it for the offensive line, right? Not to mention

  They've been trying to find someone of a placement for you know for receiver as well
• 12:33
  So I do believe that they're gonna be one of the teams that are gonna be more
• 12:38
  Active when it comes to buying than selling because they don't have a whole lot to sell, right?

  And even if they do it'll probably be for a late round draft picks, right?

  And so, you know compared to a team that is for instance like the Texans the Texans could be a seller because why?

  They have over seven. Yeah, I think they have over seven receivers that that are NFL caliber receivers, right?

  Because remember they have Tankdale, Nico Collins, Stefan Diggs, Robert Woods

  Ben Ben Scrant, I think that that's his last name. I'm sorry if I mispronounce your name

  Your last name who was from the Rams we got tech traded over to the Texans as well as Noah Brown

  And I think they're maybe like one or two other people. Oh and John Metchie. So you have all of those receivers and mind you

  They're not gonna keep all of those receivers. They're just not so somebody is gonna be outside of that bubble

  And so I wouldn't be surprised if they moved off of someone like a John Metchie

  maybe possibly a robber Woods and whatnot because a team because teams would would love to have someone like a John

  Metchie right teams would like to have somewhat of a Robert Wood, right?

  And then not to mention you don't have to give up a whole lot of draft capital to get them

  They're not carrying large cap hits nor do they have large contracts. So either way, it's a win-win situation for both

  You know for for both parties, right?

  Compared to for instance, what's a good team?

  The Cowboys for instance the Cowboys have to be buyers because they realize that the defensive line isn't as strong

  Nor is you know their middle line back in core and their secondary as well with you know with Duran Blaine being out for 68

  Six to eight weeks not 68 weeks, but six to eight weeks on with a stretch stress facts

  Right, especially for their corners. The only healthy one is Trevon Diggs and even then he's coming back from a tournée CL

  So, you know, you you have a lot of things that you have to you know factor in when it comes to buyers and sellers

  You really do because a lot of times teams are this is when teams are gonna be really active, right?

  This is when they're gonna move off of certain players if they feel like okay

  Yes, you're a great player, but we don't have a spot for you on this team

  But guess what?

  We'll put you in a better situation where you can be competitive where you can play where you can be

  You know on the field once on Sundays, right?

  And then there are other situations where you know, they just have to be released just you know altogether because

  You know, they're just not playing well and so that happens and that's why you're gonna have to me

  I feel like you're gonna have

  More buyers than sellers because there's still a lot of teams who they need, you know

  Death, you know on their offensive line or they need it on their defensive line

  But they needed that receiver or running back or tied in or corner or wherever the case may be right compared to teams

  Shipping off of players, you know, just just to get more and more draft picks and whatnot

  But we do have to talk about the 49ers. Yes. I know we are tired of I know we are tired of talking about the 49ers

  But it is not that person that we are talking about

  We are talking about Trent Williams this time because apparently according to Jeremy Fowler

  He has reported that Trent Williams is willing to hold out into the season if the 49ers do not give him a bump in pay

  Simple as that pay the man. Okay, this is someone who has significant who has significantly

  Impacted not only the run game, but as well as the pass game since joining the 49ers

  They started to run the ball more on the left side on his side and they were doing it successfully

  So that tells you the impact that Trent Williams has on that team and mind you

  I'm shifting my attention all of my attention to Trent Williams because he is more important in this in this

  Ecosystem in this equation in order for them to win a championship then Brandon I you I'm just being completely honest here

  Trent Williams is more valuable because guess what if you don't have Trent Williams on that field

  Not only in that division, but in the entire league and he has to be he has to be fairly compensated

  I'm sorry. He's still if not the best the second best left tackle in the league right now

  And even then he did to any person that says that he's the second best left tackle. Who's the first?

  Who was the first because in my mind it's still Trent Williams and there will always be Trent Williams, okay, so

  You the 49ers already knew that once Christian Deris I was gonna get his deal

  As soon as it was announced you should have called Trent and say, you know what let's come back to the table

  You could go and you can make a late season trade for another receiver

  Are these holdouts hurting the team or the player more and you have to go you have to go at it by situation

  For instance the Cowboys. This is hurting the team more than what's seeding than than CD land

  There's no other receiver that is as close to me when it comes to my skill set. So I have to be fairly compensated for me
