A bold new vision is taking root in the Bay of Plenty: turning the Kaingaroa Forest Estate into a major bio-energy hub powered by forestry biomass. Led by NZ Bio Forestry and backed by Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Manawa, this project aims to slash fossil fuel dependence by converting wood into biofuels, chemicals, and renewable energy.
