- 0:10SPEAKER_03: It's not gonna seem even that peachy color.
- 0:13SPEAKER_03: Imagine if I had a skin tone, like even closer to this.
- 0:19SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: That's pretty artificial.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: Hard to like picture.
- 0:22SPEAKER_03: It's like nacho.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's like peach, you know when you're a kid.
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: Use the peach peach.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, use the peach crayon.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: If you're an artist.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: If you're a white artist.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: If you're advanced, you know about the peach crayon.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: And you draw almond-shaped eyes in kindergarten.
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: That's when they knew.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: That's when they knew.
- 0:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: Um, listeners, viewers, audience members.
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: We have no one here.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: One time a kindergarten art teacher um tackled my mom to the concrete because I I guess apparently I was drawing almond-shaped eyes at a young age, and she was like, that is advanced.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: That ain't normal.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: That ain't normal.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: Why'd he do that?
- 0:59SPEAKER_03: As she beat her in the door.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: I draw what I see.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: As she curbs, she curb stomped your mom.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: And my mom's like, okay.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: My mom was literally like okay.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: What's an allergy by?
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: Where are you seeing these eyes?
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: Versus a circle.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: Like kids were drawing a circle, like shark eyes.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: Did you ever like, uh, that's not it?
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: There's a lid here.
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: There's a crease.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: There's eyelashes, bowls, there's flesh.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: Did you do you remember in your own art making practice as a kid, like I'm changing the way I do noses now?
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: You're like, I'm not doing not doing an H anymore.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: It's like I'm changing a lowercase H on like two sides.
- 1:39SPEAKER_03: Well, for me, it was like an L.
- 1:41SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: That's a big honker.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: And then I stole from my cousin Gina, not Gina T, another Gina.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: Gina B.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: Um now you know why I'm Gina Bugatti.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: Uh she did a nose that was like a line and upside down U in two like slits.
- 1:58SPEAKER_02: It was kind of like a pig nose, but I thought it was like so chic.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Because it just wasn't the L he was graduating on to like it was a little upturned.
- 2:06SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to think what I did.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: I might have just like ignored ignored noses for a while.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: Noses are hard.
- 2:10SPEAKER_03: Maybe I would have done like a meek.
- 2:13SPEAKER_03: Like a triple W kind of thing.
- 2:15SPEAKER_03: Triple U.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: Love it.
- 2:17SPEAKER_03: Maybe.
- 2:17SPEAKER_03: It's so cool being creative.
- 2:20SPEAKER_03: Are we warmed up?
- 2:22SPEAKER_03: We're warmed up and we're ready to fucking finish out summer.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: Woo! Yeah, we're over the summer series if you can't tell.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: Um, I know we promised you all a guest this week to shake things up, but we actually were like, you know what?
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: No.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be no.
- 2:36SPEAKER_03: I forgot that we said that and promised that and wrote contracts.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: Sorry, everybody.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: I was like surprised you were like actually okay with like my pitch that it was just, or maybe it was your pitch.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: We were just like, should we or should we not?
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: And it's like, who gives a fuck?
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: I literally I've become the waffler.
- 2:49SPEAKER_03: I was like, I can't, I'm like, I'm in, I'm here for it, I'm not here for it, I'm here for it, I'm not here for it.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: I'm uh breaking all the rules.
- 2:55SPEAKER_03: We've we've been breaking all the rules all summer long.
- 2:57SPEAKER_03: So yeah, even applies to um booking.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: It's like, no, we'll just save the guests for the real season and and for Gina, and like this is just you know, a little side spin-off.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: So it's fine.
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: You get just us goils, just us goils, just us baby boys, and I actually cut all my hair off.
- 3:14SPEAKER_02: I know you look great.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: So now I was like, I gotta take this in to the salon.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it looks great.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: Not today, really, because I didn't shower and it's in its awkward like a a few days ago, thank you.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: But I I kind of disagree.
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: Like a few days ago it looked good, but when it's short and you have curly hair, it goes through like a weird phase and it's in that phase.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: It's like puffy and like starting to flick out.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: And whatever.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: But it's fine.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: The weather's been all over the place, too.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: So it's like Yeah, and I didn't wash my hair.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:42unknown: Right.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: I was telling you, it was like, oh, I gotta shower before I come to studio, and you were like, Oh yeah, those things.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: I was like, what?
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: Like that.
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: That oh, that's what that is.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: Maybe she's born with it.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: Maybe it's chronic depression.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: Um but a lot of people don't know this.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Like, cut I do have a curl texture, and when you no, no, everyone knows this, but when you cut a curl, it looks psychotic when you wake up.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: Like you have to shower, and I didn't shower today.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like it gets tube and weird, and you look crazy.
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: So I I was lazy, but you get the gist.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: It's fine.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think you look great.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: You look sharp.
- 4:13SPEAKER_03: I was happy for you to start a new chapter.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: New chapter.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: I'm also trying to drop some pounds, uh-huh.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: Some elbs.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: I said that last time, but this time it's in effect.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: You can see the result.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: I had gastric.
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: My best.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: We've gone bi weekly because you needed time to uh heal uh and fart a time.
- 4:37SPEAKER_02: They offered a zempic, and I was like, no, I want gas trick.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: I want the band.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: I want not the band.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: I think my brother-in-law's mom had the band.
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: Oh gosh.
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: And it sometimes doesn't work.
- 4:45SPEAKER_03: And doesn't it just like literally give you gas?
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: Oh my god, be nice.
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: No, she looks great.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: Now she's on uh O's.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: Good for her.
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: So is my mom.
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: Oh well, but she was on the diabetes.
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: So she like pretends she's not on O's, but it's like, girl.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: It's that's how you're on semiglutide.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: You and you were like a an early case study.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: Very early case study.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: They discovered Ozempic through her blood loss.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: They've been scanning her mom.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: Yes, they have.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: How about you been?
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: How's your day?
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: How's your life?
- 5:18SPEAKER_03: Um, life is fine.
- 5:20SPEAKER_03: Uh I'm like summer is fucking dragging on.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: I feel like that's why we're like ready to close this chapter.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: I mean, who doesn't love fall in New York?
- 5:29SPEAKER_03: I really, you know, I love summer and I like will go to bat for it, be like everyone's like, I hate summer too hot, blah, blah, blah.
- 5:35SPEAKER_03: And it's like, I live for it, but it's like my wardrobe loves autumn.
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: That is like really where my sweet spot is.
- 5:40SPEAKER_03: It's like layers and the knits and the sweaters and the hoodies.
- 5:44SPEAKER_03: It's all where I like, you know, yeah.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: I I'm a cold queen.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: I like fall and winter.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: Although I'm not a jacket person because I run so hot and I forget about it.
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: I know you literally like will go out in winter with like nothing.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:57SPEAKER_03: And it's that's why I love it.
- 5:58SPEAKER_03: I love a jacket.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: I love summer's fun, but I get anxious during summer a little bit.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: I think it might be the Sunday night vibes of like August.
- 6:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:05SPEAKER_03: Well, I was gonna say this episode will come out, I think, the day after Labor Day weekend.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: Everyone's like, that's when summer's over.
- 6:13SPEAKER_03: And it's like, it's not.
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: Check your calendars, check, talk to a scientist.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: It's actually like the end of September.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: September is like back to school fall.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: But when you were like, we were maybe gonna do four of these episodes, you were like, this will take us into like, you know, it's still summer.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: And I was like, okay, if you need to hear that, you need to do that for yourself and be within the like uh calendar, like oh god forbid, I tried to fit the summer season into the summer.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but like no one is thinking about that.
- 6:41SPEAKER_03: But we'll be one, we'll be right at the tail end of uh Which is perfect.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: Who doesn't love the number three?
- 6:45SPEAKER_03: The spiritual um ends up.
- 6:46SPEAKER_03: Design in threes, not fours.
- 6:48SPEAKER_03: Sometimes fives.
- 6:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, odds.
- 6:49SPEAKER_03: I you can break it the rules whenever you want.
- 6:51SPEAKER_03: You have to.
- 6:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: I don't know what I'm saying.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: I'm like you're a uh first grade teacher.
- 7:04SPEAKER_02: You're like, okay, kids.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: Sometimes four is all you need.
- 7:09SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: That's funny.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: I'm making myself laugh by embarrassing myself.
- 7:12SPEAKER_03: Um, cut that.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Uh no, don't cut it.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: No, I was gonna say that peach out.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: Um that is not your friend.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: What?
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: The color?
- 7:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because it's like competing with your skin.
- 7:23SPEAKER_03: Listeners, uh, I forced them to be a good thing.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: I know we're not I know we're not doing who you're wearing, what is your problem, but I am wearing a um an Amazon original giant, oversized, extra large bikini bikini t-shirt.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: And I'm wearing boho chic shredded genie pants by a street designer, I think.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: You love those pants.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: I do, because they're comfy.
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: They're like sweats, and you know how many compliments I get on these?
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: I'm not trying to brag, but everyone I often is like, where'd you get those?
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, it's a it's a no-name, it's like a street designer.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: Um my reaction to those pants is like, what do you what do you think they're giving?
- 7:56SPEAKER_03: Boho?
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: Genie?
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: Genie loser?
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: Genie loser.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: I don't think they're that cool.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: Like, I know I overwear them.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: I try not to because I've seen their statement.
- 8:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: No one's seen them here.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: They're new here.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: First time in the last time.
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: But I do use and abuse them because they're comfy.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: I do, you know, I I like comfort, believe it or not.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: I like sweatpants.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: We were with our college friends and laughing about how for some reason I uh people crystallize me as we're being the guy who w wore sweatpants 24-7.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: That's how I knew you.
- 8:33SPEAKER_03: That's how I knew you before we became friends in college because we didn't become friends until like the end yeah.
- 8:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the end of the year.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: Did we say the tail end the very last second of junior?
- 8:40SPEAKER_03: No, we became friends going to senior year.
- 8:42SPEAKER_02: No, what was the summer?
- 8:43SPEAKER_02: No, no, yeah.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: We were trying on Batman underwear.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Junior year?
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: Senior year?
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: That was senior year.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: That's senior year.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: But we had already become friends.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: That's why I'm saying second semester of junior year.
- 8:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:55SPEAKER_03: But it was only was going into senior year over that summer was when it was like you, me and Kat started texting like all the time.
- 9:01SPEAKER_03: 247.
- 9:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, became sisters.
- 9:03SPEAKER_03: I know, TBT.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: I actually missed that vibe.
- 9:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:05SPEAKER_03: Um, but that's how I knew you.
- 9:07SPEAKER_03: I knew you as the guy who You're not alone.
- 9:09SPEAKER_03: Or it was the the the burgundy sweats and the black and gray uh like padded hoodie.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: And I had a plain black pair.
- 9:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:20SPEAKER_03: Definitely had a plain black pair too, yeah.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: And also we brought up which I I don't remember wearing sweats, but I I all I knew you as.
- 9:27SPEAKER_03: It was like, why is that guy wearing sweatshirt?
- 9:28SPEAKER_02: Well, that's what you did in college.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: Like you go to college and wear like people wear pajamas.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but then you go to art school and everyone's wearing school and everyone's fascinatory.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, vintage, my aunt's vintage, whatever.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I was coming from roadie, so you got what you got.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: And also, I it was brought to my attention that I used to run to class.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:50SPEAKER_02: A lot.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: Why were you running?
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: It wasn't because of lateness.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: It just I wanted to get from A to B quick.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: But like, what did you think it looked like to people?
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: That's scary.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: Like that, I'm more embarrassed about like the running to class than like being known as wearing sweats.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Because like that's kind of cool.
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: The running is worse.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:08SPEAKER_03: That's that's double lesser.
- 10:09SPEAKER_03: Loser, loser, double loser.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: Because I it wasn't lateness.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: I just I I just was like, I I want to move.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: That is so that's that that's weird.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: That's weird.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: That's because now I'm like slow your roll, buddy, take in the screen.
- 10:23SPEAKER_03: You can't even get your heart rate up.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: No, I can't.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: I don't even have a pulse right now.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: And I ride an electric scooter, even though I don't need to.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: Everywhere I go.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: Uh but yeah, I used to run to class.
- 10:36SPEAKER_03: We were different people in college.
- 10:38SPEAKER_03: T.
- 10:39SPEAKER_03: Twee.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: Between.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: You know what I realized?
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: What?
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: Um I got new sheets.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 10:47SPEAKER_02: And they're they're hospital.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: They're they're sky blue.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: They're like baby boy blue.
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: Which is kind of creepy.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: Uh and looking around the aesthetic of my bedroom, I'm like, it's a little accidentally like finding Neverland.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: Like my bedroom aesthetic is a little like children-y.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: Which is like, maybe that's not maybe that's why I'm not getting laid.
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: Well, I guess there's a fine line between like kooky artful and kitty.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:13SPEAKER_03: Especially kitty?
- 11:14SPEAKER_03: If you're like kitty.
- 11:15SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: Kitty.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: No, not kitty.
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: I was like, it's really good.
- 11:19SPEAKER_03: It's not kitty.
- 11:20SPEAKER_03: Your litter box is actually giving a lot of kitty.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: Uh no, it's like the colors and then the props and the pinks and blues and clouds and little quirky items, and then you look, yeah, and it all comes together and you're like, oh wow, what I don't have like a weird I can't grow up complex.
- 11:36SPEAKER_03: No.
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: I just like gay shit.
- 11:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but so sometimes don't you feel like sometimes as someone like who loves color, you're like, you sometimes you're like, I actually could use a break.
- 11:44SPEAKER_03: Like let me get let me like wash it all out and go like pure white or yeah.
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: When I moved into my new place a million years ago, I I painted everything white.
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: Well, because you live in the green, the green.
- 11:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: Green to pink.
- 11:55SPEAKER_02: Well, green and pink go together.
- 11:56SPEAKER_02: So I know, but like imagine living in green and then living in that sublet that was so so pink.
- 12:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, right.
- 12:01SPEAKER_03: If I meant this.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
- 12:03SPEAKER_02: I was like, you don't live here.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: Sure I don't.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: There's like a and what is this?
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: What are we doing?
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: Where are we?
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: We are on the big cutty couch.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: I'm Image Balasone, aka That Girl Gina, when I'm in ethnic.
- 12:17SPEAKER_03: And I'm Mike Fales.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: And are we are we sticking with that girl Gina or are we beginning to?
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: I don't know if we're rolling inside.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: Drag pun.
- 12:26SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: Sure, Jan.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: Um, no, I have a uh commitment issues, obviously.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: The waffler.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: The scale.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: Which I said I was a scale, but I'm not a scale, really quick.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: I'm a pendulum.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: Because a scale is like balance, balance, balance.
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: No, I'm literally, I will change my mind.
- 12:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:42SPEAKER_03: One to the other side of the pendulum in the same draft.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: In the same sentence.
- 12:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:45SPEAKER_02: Completely.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: Pendulama.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: Pendulama.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: But knowing it, knowing about the pendulum is power, as you as you know.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: And side tangent, when I say, as you know, I know you called it out, and I do, it's a bad habit.
- 12:55SPEAKER_02: I say it all the time, but I am paranoid about repeating myself.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: I have OCD and OCD people like really repeat themselves because you can't keep track of like it's all ruminating thoughts, like flashcards.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: You can't keep track of what's been said.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: So I'm self-conscious that I repeat.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: So I disclaim by saying, like, as you all know, like as it's been said, like I've I probably have said it.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: That makes sense, yeah.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: But I need to chill.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: It was good.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: Thank you for uh calling that out.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: You're welcome.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: What was I talking about?
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: Uh pendulum uh no right before that.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: Your name.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, my name.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna email a few select people that like I trust and have been kind of along the ride throughout all the iterations of my name and sort of do a vote.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: And I'm kind of like, I know people don't care about names and things like that, and they don't care about like the set and da-da-da-da-da.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: But I'm like, do we pull it out the votes out of like a survivor urn on camera and decide my name?
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: Sounds like you've already planned it out.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: So so yeah, there's that to come, maybe.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: And maybe it's not even a full episode, it's just the urn.
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: Maybe it's a the lead into season two.
- 13:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 13:57SPEAKER_03: The urn.
- 13:58SPEAKER_03: It lives alone, you know.
- 13:59SPEAKER_03: We'll replace the bowl.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: You know what will happen?
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: I'll the vote will be, you know, decided, and I won't go with it.
- 14:06SPEAKER_02: I'll choose something else in that list.
- 14:08SPEAKER_02: But that'll help you get there.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: So exactly worth it.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: It's totally fun.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we'll be pulling from the urn.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: Did you used to watch Survivor?
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: Like season one.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: You you are a bigger survivor head than than I am.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: But not even, like I can't even claim that because there are survivor heads.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: Um do you remember maybe it was season two, and Tino, I I was like the first couple seasons I I watched, and then I I started to pick it up again because my ex was really into it later on, like season 700.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: But I remember that like I don't know if you remember this, but at one point it went to a live um reveal of at the end, right?
- 14:44SPEAKER_03: Between like the last two or three people, right?
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it used to be like recorded and then they did a live finale, but it was around maybe I want to say season two or three, like a rope ladder drops down, and like Jeff takes the urn and like leaves, and then they like shoot the book end of it, and it's like, no, it's a live studio.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: And like it Rosie O'Donnell's here.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: You need to revisit that because I'm probably exaggerating, but to me, like in my head, it was like literally like Jeff being like, actually, like choppers and like, yeah, it was a rope ladder, and he stole the urn.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: So they went to a live taping.
- 15:19SPEAKER_03: A live because they had to.
- 15:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:22SPEAKER_03: Um that does that is ringing uh one bell.
- 15:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: One one tiny bell.
- 15:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:27SPEAKER_03: But I'm excited for you to wait.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: How to do the can you do the survivor sound?
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: Don't they always change it every no, they don't always change it.
- 15:35SPEAKER_03: I thought they were like because they would change it for like the local uh musical tradition of the country they're in.
- 15:41SPEAKER_03: Jeff sings it.
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: Jeff Probe, still the host.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: Get him on the couch.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: Do you remember maybe you missed this?
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: Back in the day, there used to be like widely shared uh nude photos of Jeff Probes.
- 15:53SPEAKER_03: No, but I think they were fake.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: But it was like one of those things where it was like back in the day when it's like no one could tell what a fake nude was.
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: I guess we're back there now with AI or whatever, but it was like have you seen Jeff?
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: AI.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: More like, yeah, God.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: Maybe you cut that.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: Just kidding.
- 16:09SPEAKER_03: I body slam you through the table.
- 16:11SPEAKER_03: It's plexi, but it breaks.
- 16:13SPEAKER_03: Okay, enough.
- 16:15SPEAKER_02: Your favorite movie.
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: You should have enough theme party.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna throw you in enough themed party.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: Please.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: For no reason.
- 16:21SPEAKER_02: I'd love that.
- 16:22SPEAKER_02: When you're 40.
- 16:23SPEAKER_03: Coming up.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: Very soon.
- 16:25SPEAKER_03: Um, what was he saying?
- 16:26SPEAKER_03: Uh Jeff Pro.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: Like there were the broad nudes of like uh and maybe maybe they were real, but it was like and it was like And he's like, I want you to draw me.
- 16:34SPEAKER_03: Kind of.
- 16:35SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 16:35SPEAKER_03: I think it was like it was like him standing.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: I think he was like standing up and kind of just like nude.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: Or so he seems.
- 16:44SPEAKER_03: Who is he?
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: He's now what a lucky win.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: And then there's you know, he hosts Survivor still to this day, and then there's Phil.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: Who's Phil?
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: Amazing Race.
- 16:54SPEAKER_02: Who the fu who's Phil?
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: It's like black leather, brown leather.
- 16:57unknown: Jess.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: Brown leather, black leather.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Phil, I think, is brown leather.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: Phil is the host of the Amazing Race, which I was almost on.
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: Do you know my brown leather coat from college?
- 17:07SPEAKER_03: My jacket, sort of like motorcycle glass.
- 17:09SPEAKER_03: I'm finally getting rid of it.
- 17:10SPEAKER_03: I kept it in my closet for years.
- 17:11SPEAKER_03: I was like, I can't part with this thing.
- 17:12SPEAKER_03: But then I put it on, it still fits.
- 17:14SPEAKER_03: It is so wow, you don't wear it.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: But it's the zipper is busted, it's like falling apart.
- 17:20SPEAKER_03: I was like, I it the the amount of time and energy would take to bring this thing back to life for like a look and a style that I've moved well beyond.
- 17:27SPEAKER_03: I was like, it's just time to let it go, Johnny.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you don't wear it.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: No, you've kind of gone from brown to black a little bit.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: Maybe yeah, maybe me black to brown.
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: No, I'm still always black leather.
- 17:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:37SPEAKER_03: Danny Zook.
- 17:37SPEAKER_03: Now you're patent.
- 17:38SPEAKER_03: Danny Zook.
- 17:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, now I'm patent.
- 17:40SPEAKER_03: Dog collar up to here.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: Oh, but I'm going back to um uh how am I doing?
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
- 17:47SPEAKER_02: Because I was like going back to me almost being on amazing reads.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: Right, you're right.
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: But now go.
- 17:51SPEAKER_03: Yes, how are you doing?
- 17:52SPEAKER_03: I'm fine.
- 17:53SPEAKER_03: I've been in a little bit a bit of a depressive slump, um, but I'm coming out of it somewhat.
- 17:58SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: Did you start your new like regime?
- 17:59SPEAKER_03: No, I I'm going up on my on my antidepth to see how that feels.
- 18:03SPEAKER_03: I'm a little bit He's well butrin, everyone.
- 18:05SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm well butrin, uh only well butrin.
- 18:08SPEAKER_03: Um cheek.
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: Uh classic.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: But I I'm a little bit wary because the when I got on it the first time, it was rough.
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: It was like this is horrible.
- 18:18SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna um jump off.
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: I would describe it as like feeling like a trashy medication.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: You feel like the headache it gives you is just like what poison am I getting putting in me?
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: It was fog, it was headaches, it was and it was mood swings.
- 18:28SPEAKER_03: That was that was really like the T where I was still validating.
- 18:31SPEAKER_03: I am going, I remember being I remember like yelling at Michael about like nothing and then being like, wait a second.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 18:37SPEAKER_03: I'm crazy.
- 18:39SPEAKER_02: It's just validating because um remember when I was so dramatic and crazy when I was starting things back in the day, like I was like so obsessive about like what I was feeling and experiencing.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: But yeah, you do feel nuts for a while until your brain like does becomes dough.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: And then you're happy.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: So I'm hoping to get back to the dough phase.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I don't think you'll feel uh I think you'll I'm gonna try and ease onto it.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: I don't think you'll have symptoms because once you're already on it, you'll you'll be able to bump up.
- 19:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean I talked to the doctor.
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: She was like, um, you'll it depends.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: You'll see.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: Some like it can happen.
- 19:11SPEAKER_03: So I'm curious.
- 19:12SPEAKER_03: But also, like, you pointed out that it might trigger like deeper anxiety, which like I'm already kind of like struggle struggling with.
- 19:18SPEAKER_02: Well, Detroit's not great for anxiety.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: It's good for like productivity.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: Which I need.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: Libido.
- 19:25SPEAKER_02: No, you don't.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: I'm like, he doesn't need to be more productive.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: This is like I'm stressed about your you going up.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: I'm like, it's gotta be more fucking like energetic about work, just work, never anything else.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: So we'll see.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: Um, well, anyway, so I'm I'm keep you posted uh when we come back for season two about how my mental health is doing.
- 19:43SPEAKER_03: Um, but I went to the doctor, I had a physical, I'm getting a bunch of tests done.
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: And did they cough coffee?
- 19:48SPEAKER_03: No, they don't cough coffee anymore.
- 19:49SPEAKER_03: They do.
- 19:50SPEAKER_03: And also, also, they were like, they were like, well, do you want to do like a cholesterol test?
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: And I was like, Don't aren't you supposed to be doing this stuff like every time you get a physical?
- 19:57SPEAKER_03: Like, take the blood, take your weight.
- 19:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, take your urine, take your shit.
- 20:00SPEAKER_03: Take your urine.
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well, speaking of taking your shit, I'm finally I'm I'm giving them a clamshell.
- 20:06SPEAKER_03: No, it's actually not a clamshell.
- 20:07SPEAKER_03: It's two pill bottles that I have to take a scooper and I have to shit into a into a into a bowl, and then I have to scoop it out of the bowl and put it into two pill bottles.
- 20:16SPEAKER_03: That sounds and drop it off.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: That sounds way less embarrassing than why was mine like a Applebee's takeout?
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: Like this thing's fucking.
- 20:23SPEAKER_02: Mine had like dividers for like your corn and your fucking taters.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: Like, why was mine a clamshell?
- 20:30SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 20:31SPEAKER_03: Well, I go to I use one medical and I I use them before they got acquired by Amazon.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: So basically it's like I'm sending Jeff Bezos like uh data on my on my shit.
- 20:40SPEAKER_03: And it's like now he'll know exactly what's going on inside of my cult, yeah, which is great.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: They got you now.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: They got me, yeah.
- 20:47SPEAKER_03: They got everything.
- 20:47SPEAKER_03: They got me from the inside out, so yeah, can't wait to um let you know what's going on there.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: I'm sure I'll come back absolutely fine.
- 20:53SPEAKER_03: And it's like I I my medical mysteries continue.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 20:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:57SPEAKER_03: Well, keep keep us all posted.
- 20:59SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 20:59SPEAKER_03: We uh are waiting with bated breath about my dookie dumps.
- 21:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but your dookie dookie dumps.
- 21:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 21:05SPEAKER_03: Uh but no, I'm fine.
- 21:06SPEAKER_03: I'm excited to um end this chapter and start the next one.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: We've we we've been gearing up for season two, kind of season two.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: And they're all over the place at the moment.
- 21:17SPEAKER_02: At the moment.
- 21:17SPEAKER_02: The looks aren't looking.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: But it's well, that's not true.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: We've got some stuff in the canon.
- 21:21SPEAKER_03: We got some stuff in the canon, the confetti canon of drag.
- 21:24SPEAKER_03: Um that was a bad one.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: That's my confetti canon sound, everyone.
- 21:28SPEAKER_03: Uh as y'all know.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: But you know, we're gaining followers by the second, so if you're new here.
- 21:34SPEAKER_03: Uh we learned in this boys only um uh chapter that it's not as much fun as it is uh uh otherwise.
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Gina's a big part.
- 21:45SPEAKER_02: She's she's a character.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she's part of the show.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: It makes am I the same in and out of drag?
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: No.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: I'm a little dumber.
- 21:52SPEAKER_03: It's hard to say because this is such a lazy, yeah, lazy time.
- 21:55SPEAKER_03: It's summer.
- 21:56SPEAKER_03: But I I I think the drag the drag of it all like makes you feel.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: more like awake like you need to be on I think sure but uh you're you're pretty much the same in and out I think so maybe I think I miss her I think actually in drag you are you you have more freedom to like uh be looser I think really okay cool because like people watch more than they listen right true yeah but a lot more yeah that justifies it for me because that would be kind of like sucky if it was the other way around she'll be back in a huge way yeah but not before the urn it goes earth of time it's the urn of time uh new name uh and then season two yeah yeah yeah but uh you know I I'm I'm just saying this and we might cut all this again but it's like we we've been kind of been forced to fast track season two a little bit because like we're potentially and most likely going to lose our studio space.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah we knew it wasn't forever it's kind of a sweet deal and that's why we like try to make the most of it.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah um and we will continue to do so until we can't but yeah things have kind of things are a little up in the air.
- 22:59SPEAKER_03: We have we have some uh deadlines now we so we're just I said this to you I was like we gotta squeeze the berry for all the juice yeah he's been making a lot of berry uh fruit metaphors like you did two back to back No I didn't I said berry and juice what was the second one no you did one and what was he was like we gotta pinch the bean or like to flick the bean yeah yeah yeah yeah no it was fruit beans aren't fruit are they oh the more you eat the more you what did I say I only said one metaphor it was berry no I said berry and juice and then I said squeeze the juice like again and of course like something else I'll go back I'll get back to you guys yeah cherry puree if anyone's listening and you have access to incredibly affordable and large studio space that you want a sort of independent alternative drag talk show slash podcast to to fill up let us know.
- 23:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah and if anyone wants to be my daddy outside of the pod how many more daddies do you need more yeah you do you do actually anyway yeah so see a season two it's coming up um it's coming up so over the fucking palm trees I know um I want Christmas trees wow really next yeah but unfortunately and again we can probably I know like suddenly you have like you've been bitten with the Christmas spirit it's the decor spirit I'd freeze Jaclyn Frost um Jaclyn Frost yeah your new drag name everyone loves ice they do um that's why they made frozen um should we uh take a little break and then come back and then finish off the bowl of topics from our previous guests oh we should absolutely finish off the bowl uh some of our guests got a little um nervous that their uh that their topics weren't included oh yeah and it was it was like no no no they um no topic left behind well actually some topics are left behind just for some have been cut cut some will be cut for time unfortunately um Mike's admin I don't I don't know any of these things yeah so if you if you But I did reach out to the guests yeah for the topics right I do some things so yeah we'll be back we'll finish off these topics and then that's the end of summer baby yes and do a transition with my leg we don't do that ever maybe season two yeah season two I think we should kind of get funny with the editing because I that's how our brains work we're random we're we're in Dina I would love it if you could contribute to the editing process yeah yes giving direction to a workhorse that you pay that's about the way it is now I'm the workhorse with lip liner goodbye I need alcohol Hello we are back and we're back uh yeah I um I had some stuff on my phone uh before we get into topics I remembered that we went like you don't care about the bull topic well we went to uh two weeks in a row we did two drag related things we went to drag brunch and then we went to drag tag sale oh yeah because I'm trying to like maybe perform more and so I you know I thought I'd go and introduce myself.
- 26:04SPEAKER_03: Um but then we went to you got invited from Perfidia queen perfidia Steven Perfidia who does my hair sometimes.
- 26:11SPEAKER_03: Uh invited you to a drag tag sale that was invite only but what was so fucking annoying was we got there we were waiting for our turn it was like kind of like one in one out um and this fucking queen some loser walks up and like waits right at the head of the line.
- 26:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah just just sort of like stopped looking at people behind him and there were at least four or five people is a war he regardless he wiggled his way in right after us yeah or like with us yeah yeah he snuck in and was breathing down my neck as we were like thumbing through the racks he was cutting us in the rack.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: I was this close to being like now if you get something before me I'm gonna be annoyed.
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: You should yeah you should have this close but I would have said it if I liked the stuff more I think there might have been a few good pieces that have were probably taken like someone walked out with an awesome headpiece.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah that was cool.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: That was cool so if there was that there might have been other things but we're so not into that shit.
- 27:03SPEAKER_02: Like I'm so so picky.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: It's part of my mental illness like I have to love what I own.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: Like so you just don't know what you're gonna get.
- 27:08SPEAKER_03: So it's like if you miss the opportunity you might miss everything.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: So like you just have to like bite the bullet and go but it was just mostly like kind of cha cha dresses and um yeah weird like uh Broadway costumes yeah it's always a halter yeah which is not my friend with these linebacker shoulders.
- 27:28SPEAKER_03: Because in your mind like don't you think like shouldn't there be something where like every like there's a secret treasure trove of costumes that somebody is like trying to get rid of every 10 years or whatever.
- 27:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah and you get the invite and you go and it changes your life I feel like that should exist.
- 27:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah you know where like you'd find that from like Stitch like that like he I would love to see his personal collection of costumes because I think he has some probably some cool pieces like crazy shit.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: That's interesting yeah yeah but last time I texted him he didn't respond.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: So Stitch are you out there?
- 27:58SPEAKER_02: Maybe he listens and got offended which Stitch is an icon.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: If anyone's offended by anything we say it's just fodder and I'm we and we apologize.
- 28:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah I don't want to offend anybody.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: I know they're like Stitch is an icon.
- 28:13SPEAKER_03: I don't want to say anything that would hurt anyone that I personally know but if you're a celebrity I'll say whatever the fuck I want.
- 28:19SPEAKER_03: But less so now don't you think post-cancel culture it's like not cool to like drag someone to hell anymore even celebs like I used to tweet about celebs like in mean ways I'm not gonna I'm not gonna drag somebody about things that are like you know rude yeah but like if somebody's acting out of pocket or being annoying or or embarrassing then like you can fucking say say Katie Carey's you know make fun of her but I'm not gonna make fun of like her body although we did say she's drinking osempic.
- 28:41SPEAKER_03: That's not making fun that's more just no I stating the truth.
- 28:43SPEAKER_02: You still do it.
- 28:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah and you're still you should maybe but it's not I find myself like deleting shit or not posting.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: Like I'll craft the tweet or like whatever and I'm just like is it really worth like coming for this like person I don't know totally yeah who cares.
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: It's kind of like the trends are shifting which is for the better I think.
- 29:02SPEAKER_03: Well sort of related what do you think about Chapel Roan's like uh she was saying that it was like she says that that her family was being stalked and that like people were coming up to her on the street and like asking you know when you said Chapelone I thought Charlie I could think again yeah I need um flashcards.
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah I need a chart.
- 29:20SPEAKER_03: You need a binder behind you I need a chart that I can be like okay yes but she um it'd be worth watching her her video the way she talks talks about it because I because I think she does herself a disservice because she talks about two different things.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: One she talks about her family being stalked by fans who find out like what her her family's names are and where they live and going there and trying to like you know access her through people in her personal life which is so messed up.
- 29:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 29:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah but then she talks about how she thinks it would be she's like you wouldn't scream at someone out of a car window like a random woman on the street or you wouldn't go up to a random woman and ask her for a hug.
- 30:01SPEAKER_03: Speak for yourself.
- 30:02SPEAKER_03: It's like yeah um you wouldn't do those things but you're not a random woman like you have you became unfortunately it comes with became famous.
- 30:13SPEAKER_03: So it's like she's sort of arguing for this cultural shift where when she wants to be off the clock, she's allowed to be off the clock and not interact with fans which like in many ways I understand that urge.
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: It's just it's part of the territory.
- 30:27SPEAKER_02: I you have to you do unfortunately sacrifice your privacy.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah but ultimately that's what you're wanting is attention.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 30:38SPEAKER_02: You can't um seems like you kind of want to be on stage.
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: There's plenty of ways to look based on the costumes.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: Right based on the the Kermit.
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah that's gaga the Kermit hand me down right that's kind of a sh read.
- 30:51SPEAKER_03: On one hand I think it's like fresh and actually probably healthy for a person with uh fame to c to like publicly speak on that yeah maybe like she'll change the culture.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah which of course it would be like a Gen Z or like her somehow Princess die is like too little too late.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: Right yeah um but she sure do love that infinity pool.
- 31:15SPEAKER_02: Huh?
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: I'm just pretending that's what she like has recently bought with her um new success newfound success.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: It's like girl we see you in that G-Wagon just kidding it's like so rude.
- 31:29SPEAKER_02: And I need one thing about the girl before I can drag her.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: Love her get on about it she bought a horse um yeah uh name Amabella from Arabella's line Arabella Arabella's line of horses her like her line yeah her lineage yeah champion bloodlines you know I love a champion bloodline anyway that's all I have to say we'll probably cut a ton of I love that yeah do I have anything chapel we're here for you we won't say a fucking word when we see you in public don't worry I know but I have a couple things first of all margarita knight is such a funny drag name as I was texting you that's K-N-I G-H-T-Y You should be Margarita Knight like that it's like professional but it's like so Margarita Knight come on think about it as my daughter like someone should be margarita night oh what else I have accidentally calling someone on IG which my God I did that to someone the other day like someone who I a mere acquaintance just occasionally flirt with I You also did it to me yeah yeah but like and I always on the shitter I'm like hello um like is this normal?
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah I'm like it's an S shape uh it's hell on earth why do you need to have that feature in there?
- 32:46SPEAKER_02: It's all stamp on it and it's hard to exit out of yeah your instinct when you're doing something wrong is to slam on the like power down power down power down but that doesn't shut it off so it keeps calling and calling and calling and it's like is this crazy person thinking I'm just like cold calling them?
- 32:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah or no no I'm the crazy person.
- 33:00SPEAKER_02: Or like what do they like it's it happens all too often.
- 33:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah it's not good.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: Not good.
- 33:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah then I also have Pringles and Diet Coke written down which is like the most cunt combination of all time if you've ever had a can of Pringles with a ice cold canned Diet Coke for whatever reason match banned in heaven it's like chocolate peanut butter.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: Wow what are other combos?
- 33:23SPEAKER_02: Nothing that's it that's it Pringle Diet Coke Heaven and what else oh I if food influencer lingo has really been annoying me.
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: Like what like I have the easiest one pan dinner that you're just gonna love uh wait it's like one pot but it's like make a head like this this one this e this easy lemony one pot make a head meal that will last you all week.
- 33:49SPEAKER_02: It's like shut the fuck up I love it it's practical and quick and convenient I'm all about that sure but just hearing it is like makes me cringe nasty and also someone's like um link in bio for my freezer door egg sandwiches that like if if it's freezer door it's like means you can like make it it's like meal prep you can like have them ready to go wrapped and frozen.
- 34:12SPEAKER_02: It's like she made McMuffins that she can like you know and pop in the micro and it's like freezer door as like a term in like food influencer culture is like so ironic.
- 34:24SPEAKER_03: That's nasty.
- 34:25SPEAKER_02: And then lastly I follow I hate follow this chef who's like gay and like attractive and has like a mustache and whatever he's a private chef in the Hamptons and I I'm just getting so like over it because like it's like we get it you have like a perfect life like chefs work really hard.
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah but you're fucked up if you're in the food industry no offense.
- 34:46SPEAKER_02: Like you have anger issues or something.
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: I'm like what's your problem?
- 34:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah so I'm like I'm jealous because I just he's living in the Hamptons because he's like a live in chef for these like clients and it's like I don't know it's life seems perfect.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: I'm like shut your trap.
- 34:59SPEAKER_03: Well it's definitely not because it's Instagram so it's curated you know what I mean it's like designed to look attractive but he's probably also it's like you know how fucking hard it is to have a job and have a full-time social media presence right he worked his ass off anyone in a but also it might not be him you know what I mean he might literally be like he might either not be cooking or he might not be posting.
- 35:17SPEAKER_03: He's cooking so he's probably okay well my point is that it's it's not as as good as it looks I'm sure it's not as as or it's not as real as it looks is what I'm saying.
- 35:25SPEAKER_02: It's like he's it's either dark money he's got like family money at some point that it's a cushy position like he's lucky to have it but like so I I just know anyone who in the in the kitchen works their ass off.
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: Like cooks and chefs literally work so so fucking hard.
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 35:40SPEAKER_02: And that's why you know they hate themselves.
- 35:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah that's why we're pivoting to um one pot megahead uh free support needles oh I just learned I I I just earned another day of no smoking weed I haven't told you I'm taking a little breaky pill oh what does that mean you earned a day?
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: I do an app called Nomo which I'm like is that like no mo weed like no mo sounds that sucks but it helps to have like a little like you know a tracker.
- 36:06SPEAKER_03: But so it you how does that work?
- 36:09SPEAKER_03: You mean you just you just every oh it sounds like you when you said yeah I earned another day it was like it says it their language not mine.
- 36:17SPEAKER_02: I was like one more day earned bitch.
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: Keep it up Diva okay no but yeah I'm taking a break from weed I like to take these breaks I've I've talked about this on the pod in the past but I'm just like kind of tired of being high.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah not on other dogs I like that like I'm willing to get high in different ways but like the THC high like it I've I use it as a crutch like you know and I have for a long time and I'm just like it'd be so great to not go back to it but I do love the culture and I I am bored as fuck.
- 36:46SPEAKER_02: So we'll see at the very least it's 30 days off so nice well no I always think it's good when you take a break I I agree but what now?
- 36:57SPEAKER_02: It's like they're like actually we you relapsed and we know roll the tapes.
- 37:03SPEAKER_03: They're like you've earned five joints you're like wait what?
- 37:05SPEAKER_03: That's why you said but earned I was like what are you getting points like somehow like there's a system here.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah um but they're just I think it's the language is like congratulations you've you've accomplished the longer I go the bigger the joint at the end of the anyway the finish line should we pull should we start the topics finally yeah we should stop punishing our listeners the no no throw yeah well that wasn't the no no throw but what is the no no throw it's oh yeah good snap am I going first yeah go first I'm seeing them actually you need to go because I saw them all I've seen them all until I wrote them go queen I'm gonna give it a swirl yeah give a swirl give a swirl give a swirlady gaga season four snatch game failure tweet Roberta aka Sarab um Sarab we picked your topic I told you just wait just wait honey Capri Sun that's amazing wow I forgot that's a good one sorry juice in a bag uh we're come on we're here for it um wow they really cornered the market on bags juice yeah no one ever tried to step to that yeah were you stabbing the bottom of the bag remember that was a thing remember that was a thing though yeah kids were like actually poke it through the bottom it was dealish but you know what I think of the commercials and the like Alex Mac of it all turning liquid silver and flying around it was Alex Mac to me yeah of course yeah which is like such a crazy cool show yeah she like solved mysteries by turning into um like metal yeah that show maybe like I don't know horny or something like something about it was like bad and like wrong and it had dark tones because it was Nickelodeon it wasn't Disney so they have like a soundtrack that they were allowed to use the stakes were a little higher the danger was a little higher it was like is she gonna get shot like did she get shot?
- 39:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah and was that beanie permanent but like the fact that she I I was just so awesome that she could become a Capri's son bag.
- 39:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah yeah yeah that was her power she just became the power insane that became things that happened like I feel like she also had like had different powers at different times like yeah it was mostly puddle based which is limiting yeah but then at some point she was like actually like sure like yeah she could do other stuff right she had the lightning and like a or like a like they would really like use like a xylophony kind of And then it got like canceled and then we're like what kind of horn am I doing for like a a whale I don't know don't start him on whales.
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: I love whales I'm dieting as you know holstring as you fucking know so I have some pickles in my fridge because like it's a good diet snack even though it's on the even though pickles are on Gina's list of like things that give you bad nose breath uh where are you going with this?
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: Um sometimes I pretend w pickles are like humpback whales do you no why why why they look 'em they look at them the Klaus and halves I was looking at it today and I was like yeah well it's a jar of whales anyways you don't like to pretend you do like to pretend let me pretend you can I'm not saying don't I'm just saying I don't do the same thing I don't look daycare after all I don't imagine the Todd are saying that to like a teacher let us pretend we got women and children here you know what I mean it's very like the teacher's like daycare after all she's like what the fuck she's like you're right she's like you know actually yeah yeah pretend pretend that the pickles are whales she can't pretend because she has her own issues yeah that's trauma she's repeating trauma mama I'll be in the clayroom again you're like you're like the baby from Allie McBeal you're like just little CGI version of yourself that's trauma mama did you have a water table in preschool?
- 41:21SPEAKER_03: I'm sure with like sand elements no I don't think they those were invented until like the second I graduated I had one New York yeah but the suburbs yeah okay so now you're not from New York I never oh my god you like to attend I'm from New Jersey one to New York I never I never claimed to be from New York City no no you're not New Yorker we wouldn't be friends yeah no you're you're suburbs all day absolutely suburbs yeah suburbs yeah suburbs but yeah you were closer to like a metropolitan the city so you're getting water tables before me yeah they didn't come around until the second I left I'll get you one for here yeah the water table I'm like I kind of my bedroom is finally never land I like to pretend I'm getting a water table disgusting yeah it's disgusting but I don't have baby I don't have that that syndrome what syndrome you can't grow up no but you're just you can't find you you're just a loser you just have simple taste you get anyway preschool speaking of caprice done it's cunt it's amazing it's cunt it it's the it's the beverage of summer it's the beverage of youth and it only should we call Roberta kids can have it she she probably would pick up actually yeah yeah yeah should he why not yeah let's see because I'm like you brought this up last time you were like I want to know what George thinks about short length short length yeah yeah yeah and I was like I want to know that too it's like is it rude to ambush someone Sarab literally calls us all the time actually Sorab will pick up Z.
- 42:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah Sarab Sarab Hi honey I'm here with Mike and we just um pulled your top your topic and it was Capri San which is such a cunty topic and we're gagging over it and wanted to know your thoughts because I don't know if it was available to you being being so young.
- 43:14SPEAKER_03: So call me back you stupid bitch she'll never respond.
- 43:20SPEAKER_03: Bitch is back.
- 43:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah we brought it back yeah bitch you stupid bitch bitch pull a topic okay uh but wait it was good that um Capri son you know I'm sure it was artificial because it was yeah but at least it was always clear we didn't have died so give credit where credit's due I remember my mom being like don't drink too many of them because it was like we didn't drink soda.
- 43:45SPEAKER_03: Shrimp question mark?
- 43:46SPEAKER_03: Who did that?
- 43:47SPEAKER_03: Greg Wow okay which I don't know did you go you go did did uh I don't know Greg did shrimp question mark or was it maybe I did that.
- 43:58SPEAKER_03: I can't remember I'll have to check the the email But brilliant topic, shrimp question mark.
- 44:02SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: I mean I love shrimp.
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: Ocean state.
- 44:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:06SPEAKER_02: So is shrimp is Greg.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: Shrimp is cunt.
- 44:08SPEAKER_03: We have that R-I.
- 44:09SPEAKER_03: Shrimp is cunt.
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: Shrimp cocktail is cunt.
- 44:11SPEAKER_03: I had shrimp cocktail at my wedding.
- 44:13SPEAKER_03: That was an appetizer.
- 44:14SPEAKER_03: Gorgeous.
- 44:15SPEAKER_03: It was delish.
- 44:17SPEAKER_03: I'm not the biggest fan of like scampi.
- 44:20SPEAKER_03: The big like the big prawn.
- 44:22SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love a jumbo.
- 44:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:24SPEAKER_03: But no, no, I mean I I like a peeled shrimp.
- 44:26SPEAKER_03: I don't need to, I don't know if I need to do it myself.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: I need Lazy Man everything.
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: Lazy lobster.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: Plop it on mac and cheese, please.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: Um here's a million things I have to say about shrimp.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: Go off.
- 44:37SPEAKER_02: I love shrimp cocktail.
- 44:39SPEAKER_02: It's so, so good.
- 44:40SPEAKER_02: But I need it needs to be like from whole fluids or something nice.
- 44:44SPEAKER_02: Like and big.
- 44:45SPEAKER_02: The jumbo shrimps.
- 44:46SPEAKER_02: It needs to, they need to be dry and they need to have like a feathery texture.
- 44:50SPEAKER_02: Shrimp has like a feathery, I know that's like a weird word.
- 44:53SPEAKER_02: Feathery is the word because it has that like layer-dy kind of like texture to it when it's dry and meaty.
- 44:59SPEAKER_02: That's how it should be.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: The little shrimps, lately, I'm just like frozen?
- 45:04SPEAKER_03: Or like little little.
- 45:05SPEAKER_02: Either frozens or or just any little shrimp.
- 45:08SPEAKER_02: There's no um texture to it.
- 45:11SPEAKER_02: So it just you're popping membranes.
- 45:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 45:14SPEAKER_02: And it grosses me out.
- 45:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:15SPEAKER_02: And I can't.
- 45:16SPEAKER_02: And lately in general, I'm from the ocean state, as is Greg.
- 45:19SPEAKER_02: So thank you for keeping it seafoody.
- 45:22SPEAKER_02: Uh lately, this is against my religion.
- 45:24SPEAKER_02: Like, I've been a little grossed up by shellfish.
- 45:27SPEAKER_02: I think I told you this.
- 45:28SPEAKER_02: I was like, it's kind of this is gonna sound ignorant because bugs are ignorant.
- 45:34SPEAKER_02: Uh, but like some cultures they eat bugs, but not in my culture uh at the moment.
- 45:40SPEAKER_02: So I just lately shellfish has been reminding me uh of like bugs and roaches, and like I know lobsters are like the roaches of the sea or something.
- 45:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:52SPEAKER_02: So I just I I've been thinking about that lately and I've been craving it less, which is bad, because I I am a roadie whore.
- 45:59SPEAKER_03: One of my like um core, I I feel like queer uh self-acknowledgement moments was.
- 46:18SPEAKER_03: They lived right on the Chesapeake Bay, uh Chesapeake.
- 46:21SPEAKER_03: And they would my daughter.
- 46:22SPEAKER_03: They'd have we'd, you know, we'd have like a crab, we'd always have like a crab-based meal whenever we visited.
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: And it was like, you know, my mom and my dad and my grandma, my grandpa, my aunt, and my uncle just cracking crabs open and like literal, just like juice and bits flying all over the place.
- 46:40SPEAKER_03: And everyone was just like ravenous to get to this fucking crab meat.
- 46:42SPEAKER_03: And I was like, this is fucking barf atrocious.
- 46:45SPEAKER_03: I was like, this is gross.
- 46:46SPEAKER_03: Me, it's like little like seven-year-old being like, ew, stop.
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: This is disgusting.
- 46:52SPEAKER_03: I was like, so sometimes you when you see it, you're like, what are we doing here?
- 46:54SPEAKER_03: We're cracking open creatures uh and sucking out their soft meat.
- 46:59SPEAKER_03: It gets a little nasty.
- 47:00SPEAKER_02: It's fucking nasty.
- 47:01SPEAKER_02: It would like to be a good thing.
- 47:02SPEAKER_03: It wouldn't matter if it was a crab or a bug or whatever.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: It's like if it was a chicken, it'd be still would be nasty.
- 47:07SPEAKER_03: Even sometimes like fucking chicken wings are are nasty.
- 47:09SPEAKER_03: Like the slurp and crack of it all.
- 47:11SPEAKER_03: That's a bird, sweetie.
- 47:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 47:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 47:13SPEAKER_02: I'm always like, you know how people that like don't necessarily love to eat meat stick to chicken because it's like cleaner and lighter or whatever.
- 47:22SPEAKER_02: I'm like, a bird is way grosser than like a cow to me.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, a lot of people like birds are grosser than cows for sure.
- 47:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 47:29SPEAKER_03: It's a bird.
- 47:30SPEAKER_03: Birds are fucking nasty.
- 47:32SPEAKER_03: No offense to the bird lovers out there, but you're weird.
- 47:35SPEAKER_03: You're messed up.
- 47:36SPEAKER_03: Um that's someone that's something I will go to town against.
- 47:40SPEAKER_03: Oh, if you own a bird?
- 47:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 47:42SPEAKER_03: You're perverted.
- 47:43SPEAKER_03: Although I own an hairless cat, so what am I saying?
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 47:46SPEAKER_03: It's basically a chicken.
- 47:47SPEAKER_02: And you're probably gonna get it a bird, like companion.
- 47:49SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh no, no.
- 47:50SPEAKER_02: The cats hate birds?
- 47:52SPEAKER_02: Classically, yeah.
- 47:54SPEAKER_02: They kill 'em.
- 47:56SPEAKER_02: But wait, I have more on shrimp.
- 47:59SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, one time like my family cracked open lobsters and it was like someone was like, oh, it's mating season, and it was green, like eggs everywhere.
- 48:08SPEAKER_02: And then nowadays everyone's always like, what's the ethical way of like killing the lobsters?
- 48:12SPEAKER_03: Shoot it with um handgun.
- 48:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 48:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 48:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, an automatic weapon.
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, a rifle.
- 48:21SPEAKER_02: But it's like, I don't know, just toss them in the hot, hot water and hear them, you hear them whine.
- 48:26SPEAKER_03: Well, it's the it's actually that's the steam leaving their body.
- 48:28SPEAKER_03: It's not their they don't have vocal cords, they can't make noise.
- 48:30SPEAKER_03: They do.
- 48:31SPEAKER_03: No, that's they're amazing singers.
- 48:33SPEAKER_03: Their body's whistling because they're they're boiling from the inside.
- 48:35SPEAKER_02: They invented whistle tone.
- 48:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, what do you think?
- 48:37SPEAKER_02: Mariah based her whole career off of shelf.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: Shelfish.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: What else can I say?
- 48:45SPEAKER_02: That might be it.
- 48:46SPEAKER_02: Shrimp is cunt, but also nasty.
- 48:49SPEAKER_02: And shelf, yeah.
- 48:50SPEAKER_02: It's all it's all nasty.
- 48:51SPEAKER_02: Anything from the C the C is cunt and nasty.
- 48:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'll try anything thrice, but seafood has to look pretty.
- 48:59SPEAKER_02: I'm not I can't.
- 48:59SPEAKER_02: Is that pull string too?
- 49:00SPEAKER_02: I would say that every day.
- 49:02SPEAKER_02: Eat anything.
- 49:02SPEAKER_02: Seafood has to look pretty for me to try.
- 49:04SPEAKER_02: I think it's new.
- 49:05SPEAKER_03: I like uh I like uh mussels, but I'm not a big fan of clams or oysters.
- 49:12SPEAKER_02: Clams are chewy.
- 49:13SPEAKER_02: I like a clam cake and clam chowder.
- 49:14SPEAKER_02: I like clam cake.
- 49:15SPEAKER_02: Do I like clam chowder or do I like a bowl of cream?
- 49:18SPEAKER_03: I think there's nothing more adult than slurping down an oyster.
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: I can't get there.
- 49:24SPEAKER_02: I I haven't done it yet.
- 49:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 49:26SPEAKER_02: Once you do, it's fun, but I'm I never am craving oysters.
- 49:29SPEAKER_02: Is that embarrassing that I've never done that?
- 49:31SPEAKER_02: You've never had slurped an oyster?
- 49:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:33SPEAKER_03: It's an aphrodisiac.
- 49:34SPEAKER_03: I they f they it looks the like the most disgusting thing possible to me.
- 49:39SPEAKER_02: The oysters, all they need to be dressed up real nice with all the toppings, and they need to be really like cold water, fresh, like East Coast vibes.
- 49:49SPEAKER_02: Like I've had bad oysters, like warm, like room-temp oysters, and it's like you just swallow them and they're like salty, like that's that's like I've been told that you swallow them, but give it a light, like a light press of the teeth.
- 50:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
- 50:02SPEAKER_02: Kind of squash it down, but it's more yeah, it's mostly uh cum gulp.
- 50:06SPEAKER_02: Oh god.
- 50:07SPEAKER_02: It is good, I can get into it, but I never like it.
- 50:09SPEAKER_02: I gotta try it.
- 50:10SPEAKER_03: I gotta try it.
- 50:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: Let's go for oysters.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: I never crave it.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: I've never tried caviar.
- 50:13SPEAKER_02: Oh, me neither.
- 50:14SPEAKER_02: Sarah wants to take a seat.
- 50:15SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, I've had like fish row for all like sushi and stuff.
- 50:17SPEAKER_02: We're still waiting for our caviar uh caviar flight that you're funding.
- 50:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 50:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, our caviar flight.
- 50:22SPEAKER_02: We need it.
- 50:23SPEAKER_03: Well, I'd love to eat caviar with a potato chip.
- 50:25SPEAKER_03: I know that's like so like Prinkles.
- 50:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:26SPEAKER_03: Oh my god, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:28SPEAKER_03: Um full circle.
- 50:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:29SPEAKER_02: Anyway, that note.
- 50:30SPEAKER_03: Uh pull.
- 50:31SPEAKER_02: Nutcrackers at Reese or any beach.
- 50:35SPEAKER_02: Bimbo.
- 50:36SPEAKER_02: Nutcrackers.
- 50:37SPEAKER_03: Um, like beach drinks that they sell that they hawk on the beach.

- 50:46SPEAKER_02: Hi Bimbo, I think you're in um Italy right now.
- 50:48SPEAKER_02: Ciao bella.
- 50:49SPEAKER_02: Ciao bella.
- 50:50SPEAKER_02: I don't know what a nutcracker is.
- 50:52SPEAKER_03: I I think it's the it's the slang term for like uh um a beach drink.
- 50:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:57SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 50:58SPEAKER_03: Typically rum-based, I would say.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: I love rum-based anything by the shore, you know.
- 51:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:03SPEAKER_03: Now people are selling like weed and edibles and gummies and like I should cocktail weed, like cocktail weight.
- 51:09SPEAKER_03: Fresh pepper joints.
- 51:11SPEAKER_03: Uh well, it was like we should sell like poppers on the beach.

- 51:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 51:18SPEAKER_02: I love cocktail waiters, like pull side cabana boys.
- 51:23SPEAKER_02: That, you know, I love a pina colada with a dark rum floater because it's like, okay, it's pretty caloricon.
- 51:29SPEAKER_02: Make sure you're getting your money's worth.
- 51:31SPEAKER_02: Like, make make it a stiffy.
- 51:32SPEAKER_02: So you need that dark rum floater.
- 51:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 51:35SPEAKER_02: For those for that amount of calories.
- 51:37SPEAKER_02: I don't really eat strawberry jackery, but I grew up with my mom saying like dikery.
- 51:42SPEAKER_02: She couldn't like get get the word.
- 51:44SPEAKER_02: Pronunciation.
- 51:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she couldn't pronounce it.
- 51:46SPEAKER_02: So it was a dikery household.
- 51:48SPEAKER_02: Uh, and then there's a Miami Vice, which is half pina colotta, half strawberry jack.
- 51:55SPEAKER_02: Strawberry dike.
- 51:56SPEAKER_02: Strawberry dike.
- 51:57SPEAKER_02: The strawberry dike.
- 51:58SPEAKER_03: Half pina colotta, half strawberry.
- 51:59SPEAKER_03: That's just it goes.
- 52:01SPEAKER_03: I'm sure it does.
- 52:01SPEAKER_03: It just giving very, very sweet.
- 52:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.

- 52:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 52:10SPEAKER_03: And I life, I was a lifeguard at the Rockland Country Club, which was the the that was like the highest paid you can get as a lifeguard.

- 52:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was cleaning the fucking uh pumps uh yeah every every day and testing the fucking chlorine.
- 52:29SPEAKER_03: Um but it was the highest uh you you get paid the most at the Rockland Country Club and out of all the pools in the area.
- 52:35SPEAKER_03: Um, but there was weight staff that worked there too.
- 52:38SPEAKER_03: So it was always I always had this sense of like, I don't know, that was like they were like real.
- 52:43SPEAKER_02: But wait, I'm a server, like I come from the service industry, so maybe I was there and and like we didn't meet each other until later.
- 52:49SPEAKER_02: That's like fun and narrative.
- 52:51SPEAKER_02: You were lifeguard, I was server.
- 52:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, maybe, yeah.
- 52:53SPEAKER_02: Maybe I wasn't, maybe I didn't grow up in Rhode Island.
- 52:56SPEAKER_02: A lifeguard is way the stakes are way higher, and it's such an important job.
- 53:00SPEAKER_02: Um, but I could see it it it bears teen, you know, like anyone can kind of like get into that position and be um undertrained.
- 53:11SPEAKER_02: It was yeah, certainly certainly was, yeah.
- 53:12SPEAKER_02: Um servers are I get it.
- 53:14SPEAKER_02: Hello?
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: That's a Rob.
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, pick it up.
- 53:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 53:19SPEAKER_02: Girlina.
- 53:22SPEAKER_02: Did you get my message?
- 53:27SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 53:30SPEAKER_02: We got we pulled your topic and um we're on the air.
- 53:36SPEAKER_02: The air.
- 53:37SPEAKER_02: So I'm sorry to ambush you, but Capri-Sun was such a good topic that I needed to know your thoughts on it.
- 53:42SPEAKER_02: Because like, where was it coming from?
- 53:44SPEAKER_02: Is it um before your time as like a Gen Zier?
- 53:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, somebody who was born in uh in 2010.
- 53:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:55SPEAKER_02: 2010, yeah, yeah.
- 53:56SPEAKER_01: That is when you were born.
- 53:58SPEAKER_02: Did you have Capri San?
- 54:00SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, oh my god, it was like it was my champagne.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: What are you talking about?
- 54:04SPEAKER_02: Incredible.
- 54:05SPEAKER_01: I would poke that shit.
- 54:07SPEAKER_02: Which side of the bag?
- 54:08SPEAKER_01: Pour it.
- 54:09SPEAKER_01: Um the side with the little hole.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: Nice talk.
- 54:13SPEAKER_02: Good.
- 54:14SPEAKER_01: Would people poke it in the bottom?
- 54:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:16SPEAKER_02: People were loving the bottom.
- 54:18SPEAKER_02: Why were they doing that?
- 54:20SPEAKER_01: I think they were like getting ahead of themselves a bit and exploring an urge that would maybe come out later in life.
- 54:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 54:29SPEAKER_02: Definitely.
- 54:30SPEAKER_02: Um It was about anal.
- 54:32unknown: Exactly.
- 54:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it really was.
- 54:34SPEAKER_02: It always is.
- 54:35unknown: Weak and gay.
- 54:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, Rob, where are you?
- 54:37SPEAKER_02: Where are you?
- 54:38SPEAKER_02: What are you doing?
- 54:39unknown: I am in Chinatown, Manhattan.
- 54:41SPEAKER_02: A likely place for you to be.
- 54:43SPEAKER_02: Amazing.
- 54:44SPEAKER_02: Doing something sketchy, I assume.
- 54:46SPEAKER_02: We're in Gawanis.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we sound like we're about to fall through a barge of garbage into the uh sludge swamp that we are right above.
- 54:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're here.
- 55:00SPEAKER_03: It's like it's like seeping through the phone speaking.
- 55:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the couch is brown.
- 55:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, actually, Capri Sun reminded me of Alex Mack because of like the ads like with the Silver Surfer, they would become blobs.
- 55:11SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Alex Mack, do you remember that?
- 55:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 55:13SPEAKER_02: This might be before your time.
- 55:14SPEAKER_03: That's before her time, yeah.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: Um, I do remember the Silver Surfer, but I don't know what Alex Mack.
- 55:19SPEAKER_02: Wow, you heard it here.
- 55:20SPEAKER_02: Gen Z doesn't know Alex Mac.
- 55:22SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 55:23SPEAKER_02: Let's just say it was a hazardous waste uh accident in Giovanni.
- 55:28unknown: Where was it?
- 55:29SPEAKER_02: It was proverbio, but it was just some sort of plant, and some girl got superpowers and could become Capri Sun.
- 55:35unknown: Oh, wow.
- 55:36SPEAKER_02: So check it out if you need research on how to ship in that.
- 55:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so dude check that out.
- 55:41SPEAKER_02: But I interrupted you really quick.
- 55:43SPEAKER_02: You did you used to say you poured it out, the Capri Sun?
- 55:46SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 55:46SPEAKER_01: I think a few years into my usage, I would like pour it into a cup and I'd be like, this is live and large.
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: It also just didn't taste the same when you drink it that way.
- 55:55SPEAKER_01: It's like not meant for that.
- 55:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it belongs in a bag.
- 55:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think it needs like to be seasoned with the microplastics of the straw for the course.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 56:04SPEAKER_02: Well, thank you for a lovely topic.
- 56:06SPEAKER_01: Of course.
- 56:07SPEAKER_01: Thanks for calling.
- 56:08SPEAKER_02: Of course.
- 56:09SPEAKER_02: Like, thanks for ambushing me.
- 56:10SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: No, no worries.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: Love you, miss you bye.
- 56:13SPEAKER_02: Love you, miss you bye.
- 56:14SPEAKER_02: Bye, Sorab.
- 56:16SPEAKER_02: Be mad at us.
- 56:17SPEAKER_03: Um anyway.
- 56:19SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 56:20SPEAKER_03: Sam Taggart.
- 56:21SPEAKER_03: When did it feel like summer for you this year?
- 56:26SPEAKER_02: He sent me this directly.
- 56:28SPEAKER_02: I was like, everyone email this.
- 56:30SPEAKER_02: And people were just like, here it is.
- 56:32SPEAKER_02: And like I respect that.
- 56:33SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 56:34SPEAKER_02: Um okay.
- 56:34SPEAKER_02: When did it feel like summer for me?
- 56:36SPEAKER_02: Because Sam's saying he's always trying to, you know, chase that vibe.
- 56:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 56:42SPEAKER_02: For me, it actually randomly was when I was about to go on the Black Island ferry for the bachelor for Alicia's bachelorette.
- 56:53SPEAKER_02: And I they were like, the girls were in line for tickets.
- 56:58SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 56:58SPEAKER_02: And we had like luggage and whatever stuff on wheelie carts, because you know it's Hogwarts.
- 57:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 57:04SPEAKER_02: Hogwarts.
- 57:05SPEAKER_02: We packed a lot of snacks.
- 57:06SPEAKER_02: Uh, I was like, let me light a cigarette.
- 57:08SPEAKER_02: I think I have time.
- 57:09SPEAKER_02: And for some reason, the line went way quicker.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: And it was kind of like, Ange, we're like getting on the boat, like, and there's nowhere to put this cigarette out.
- 57:17SPEAKER_02: And it's kind of like, did you really need to like light one up right now?
- 57:20SPEAKER_02: And something about getting yelled at by like a bunch of women felt really like summer started.
- 57:27SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 57:28SPEAKER_02: I don't know why, but something about like getting in trouble immediately and being like, I don't, I thought I had time.
- 57:33SPEAKER_02: And then I'll be like, I'll join you, I'll join you.
- 57:35SPEAKER_02: And then like the boat is like judging me.
- 57:37SPEAKER_02: No, like I'm like, where do I put this fucking thing on?
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: I ate it.
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: I ate the butt.
- 57:42SPEAKER_02: Don't knock don't knock it till you try it.
- 57:45SPEAKER_02: But yeah, something about like they didn't yell at me, but it was just like a bunch of Italian females looking at me, like being like, really?
- 57:51SPEAKER_03: We're like Yeah.
- 57:55SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 57:56SPEAKER_02: That is that was that summer.
- 57:58SPEAKER_03: That's summer.
- 57:59SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 57:59SPEAKER_03: That is so funny.
- 58:00SPEAKER_03: Born by specific.
- 58:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know, but it felt correct.
- 58:03SPEAKER_02: It's like a to me, it's like a tone getting yelled at.
- 58:06SPEAKER_02: That's nostalgia.
- 58:06SPEAKER_02: Getting yelled at by Italian women is literally nostalgia for me.
- 58:10SPEAKER_02: What about you?
- 58:11SPEAKER_03: When did when did it first when did it feel like summer for you this year?
- 58:14SPEAKER_03: For me, it's always the same where it's like that that one night where you're like, oh my god, it's still fucking light out, and it's like 9 p.m.
- 58:21SPEAKER_03: It's like that that when you have that realization for the first time in the year where you're like, it's not pitch black, and it's actually daylight at at night, and it's amazing.
- 58:30SPEAKER_03: Like that that happened, and then you like you notice it kind of like every day for like the next like three or four days, and then like you forget about it, and then you only rem remember it again when it starts to get dark again.
- 58:39SPEAKER_03: And it's like it's starting to get dark again now.
- 58:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because we're past the solstice.
- 58:44SPEAKER_02: Our studio is like outside our studio, you really see this like highway in the sky kind of line.
- 58:51SPEAKER_02: The BQE, yeah.
- 58:52SPEAKER_02: The BQE to nothing, to like this it just vanishes to heaven.
- 58:56SPEAKER_02: It looks like heaven, but I always get totalitarian vibes.
- 59:00SPEAKER_02: There's something like weird about that image.
- 59:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 59:04SPEAKER_02: Traffic on that like S curve that we can, you know, see.
- 59:09SPEAKER_02: But you get good sunsets, and that's where I started to notice you you do notice the time change there.
- 59:17SPEAKER_03: The light shining through the industrial.
- 59:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's a giant um like industrial like vein of just for cars to fucking flow through.
- 59:28SPEAKER_02: Pile up, get traffic, yeah, but you get pretty sunsets, so that combo equals totalitarian.
- 59:33SPEAKER_02: Do you mean dystopian?
- 59:34SPEAKER_02: Both.
- 59:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 59:36SPEAKER_02: Either.
- 59:37SPEAKER_02: Take it back.
- 59:38SPEAKER_02: I know both.
- 59:39SPEAKER_02: Both.
- 59:40SPEAKER_02: Smarter than I was.
- 59:40SPEAKER_02: It's a Rob, double whimmy, swamp ass.
- 59:43SPEAKER_03: Swamp ass.
- 59:45SPEAKER_03: Um hot.
- 59:48SPEAKER_03: Not well, okay.
- 59:50SPEAKER_03: So everyone gets swamp ass.
- 59:51SPEAKER_03: It happens, whatever.
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: It's fine.
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: But I I feel like I sweat from my taint when I get horny.
- 59:59SPEAKER_03: Like I get a wet butt.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_03: Like the cheeks be sliding.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_03: The cheeks be sliding, the taints dripping.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_03: Um dripping.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_03: Not dripping, uh, but uh I feel like that's my version of swampass, because like I'm not the the sweatiest person in general.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_03: So I'm not really running, and it's and I'm not really sweating from there at all unless I'm fucking turned on.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_03: And then it's like the Rainforest Cafe.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_03: The fog.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_03: Gooey!
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_02: One more.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_02: One more for the road.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, I don't know if I sweat too much from the cheeks.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but you have a uh phrase coined uh by your sister, sour butt.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, what what does it have to do with my sister?
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_02: I thought she invented it.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_02: No, I invented sourbot.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_02: Maybe she did.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_02: Reba, did you invent sourb sourbot?
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_02: She ain't watching, but she she be ha having sourbutt.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_03: I always remember I I remember it you telling me about Sourbutz.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_03: I think it's your sister would say.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_02: I think it's my sister Rebecca, who I call Reba.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, maybe she did invent Sourbot, but yeah, Sourbutt is like when yeah, you need a shower.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_02: Because your butt's getting dirty and itchy and weird.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_02: So you gotta wipe.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_02: You gotta wipe.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_02: Men need to wipe sometimes.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_02: You gotta sometimes you gotta go back in.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_02: Midday.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_02: Sucks.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_02: You've been farting a ton sweet.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_02: Today?
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_02: No, I'm just saying if you've been farting a ton, I thought you were just like, I've been farting a ton.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_02: On air.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_02: Like, we're on air.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_02: They they're gonna know.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_02: I wish you were farting a ton.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, I'd waste three one of my three wishes on that.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_02: Quote me.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_03: Jeannie, I wish Mike was farting a ton.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_02: In social settings.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty gassy in general.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_02: You are.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_02: Gassy guy.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_02: Me too.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_02: But I burp more.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_02: There's this guy when I go to Rhode Island.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_02: The men at the gym, LA Fitness, that I go in Cranston, I pay for like a day pass.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_02: They're all straight, but like curious or closeted in a Guido like way.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_02: Everyone in Rhode Island is like whatever.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_02: There's this one guy who like gives me eyes sometimes, but only when no one his friends aren't around and he's older and like so my type.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_02: And like the last time I saw him, I was like giving eyes, eyes, eyes, being like, You're so so hot.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_02: Then I did clock a little like visible swamp ass at the gym, and I was like, is it diarrhea water?
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_02: Like, you never know.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_02: What do you mean visible swamp?
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_02: Like I saw sometimes you see at the gym, like some people, if they really sweat from the cheeks, like you get a little like sweat stain.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_02: Like curly, oh wait, in his pants?
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, through the sweat shorts or whatever he was wearing.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, gym shorts.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_02: I think that's probably swamp ass, but you never fucking know.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_02: Like, diarrhea water like runs thin.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_02: You know, he could have had the shits.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_02: He could have had the shits and shat himself and continued to work out so that you could see it.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_02: Sometimes you think you don't shit yourself, and then it's like it happened.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_02: And I don't think it happened.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_02: I I still have a crush on him, but I just I wasn't the swamp ass took him down a notch.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_02: You know swamp ass can be hot, but I just seeing the little like creasy, sweaty, sweat scene in there, I was like, it's hard.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_03: We'll forgive.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_03: To me, I feel like in the steam room, in the locker room, that's hot.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_03: Seeing someone on the floor like lifting and grunting and sweating and like failing, like that's can be very unattractive to me.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_03: It's like so I I get like seeing some guy's like butt sweat through his pants, it's like that's it was a little it was giving diarrhea water.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_03: But did you let him know?
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_02: You're like, No, I didn't.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_02: Thank you, too.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_02: I was trying to let him know other things.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_02: Uh he decided I always like I'll get like eyes from someone and then I go back being like, hey, remember?
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_02: And they they're scared.
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_02: So hard.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_02: So hard being bi.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_03: Um, should we take a break?
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_03: And uh do we?
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_03: I think we only have a few left.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_03: So why don't we why don't we take a break?
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_03: Take a quickie breaky and we'll be right back.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_00: Bye bye.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_03: Jinx.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_03: There are topics everywhere.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_03: And we're back.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_03: Uh I'm pulling.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_03: Yay, I love when it's not me.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_03: This is a great topic.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_03: This is from Aaron Jackson.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_04: Uh Aaron Air Bear.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_03: These are water slides, but the kind you find in someone's backyard at their pool setup, not the kind you find at like a water park.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_03: So like uh very like grotto vibes, sometimes.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_03: Other times very like shaky because it's giving the above-ground pool.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_02: It's giving in ground kidney shaped pool.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_02: Which I love.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_02: I don't have a ton of experience on them.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_02: I feel like my friends just by chance more often had a diving board.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_02: Which wasn't high.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_02: It was just like, you know, the little like what was that for?
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_02: Fun.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah, but like But it was always like it came with a thousand rules where where it was like you can't dive too far because then you'll hit the shallow end.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_03: So you gotta dive kind of down or something.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_02: And like the graphic of like the dummy with like a collapsed spine.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_02: But I always I you want, you aspire to go on those blue slides that it's just it's just a little curl.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_02: Unless you're loaded and have a weird water slide at your house.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_03: That's what I said by like grot grotto vibes where you'd have like the built-up like rock, uh, but then those would always like water slide.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_03: Eventually, um, something would get busted and it would not be working.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_03: So you'd have like a dry uh stone-shaped chute down into your pool that no one would use anymore.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_02: It needs maintenance.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_03: Turns out your bespoke water slide actually has a lot of upkeep.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_03: Uh that no one care about water slides.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_02: Like as a kid, you love it and want it.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_02: Like, I again I I didn't have I didn't go on many, so I really those were special to me.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_02: The little like the blue classic, or white, just the curve, the elbow, the elbow mac shape.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_03: Like at our pool club, it was sort of a rite of passage when you were like old enough and brave enough to go down the slide, because you'd have to go in.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_03: You have to first be able to be allowed to swim in the deep end.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_03: You have to take a test, be able to do it.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_03: I hate the test.
- 1:05:59SPEAKER_03: It was fucking scary.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_03: You had to tread water for like a minute and touch the bottom or something.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't remember.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_03: It'd be so scary to go all the way up there and then just slide down into the deep end.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_03: And then once you do it, the first time you're like, oh, this is amazing! And then do it forever.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_02: Short and not that fun.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_02: Like the the the home a the home ones.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_02: They're not worth getting out of the pool.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_02: You know, you think, and then we finally I have eventually gone on one, and it's like, oh.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_02: Thanks, I guess.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_02: Really, you guys?
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_02: That's like what I say as I come up.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_02: I'm like.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_03: Even nose plug.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_02: You guys?
- 1:06:43unknown: Stupid.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_02: Fine.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_02: Was that okay?
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_03: And I'm swimming in this in the shallow end.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_00: You're like, that's like a whirlpool.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_03: Well, if you had an above-ground pool, you are making a fucking whirlpool.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_02: How small was the in-ground?
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_02: My nana had a real tiny kidney pool.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_02: It was like, that ain't to code.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_02: Were you wearing shirts in the pool?
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_03: Not to shame anyone who did.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_03: I feel like that was very much like if you were maybe somewhat uh self-conscious you would wear a shirt in the pool.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_02: But sometimes but I feel like there were a lot of skinny guys and girls who were wearing the big t-shirt.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_03: I think it was sort of there was some there was like a sensory experience.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_03: Because I was like, I want to jump in the pool with my shirt on, and I want to swim with the shirt on.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_03: You're so a skinny guy who wears the shirt.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_03: But I only did it, I did it like one one day, and then I was like, I'm done with this because it's Rash Guard.
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_03: Felt nothing.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_02: Rash Guard.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_03: I would have fucking worn a wetsuit every day of my life if I could.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_03: That would have been my Okay, you're my child to being Summer to be.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_02: You're my unborn daughter.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_03: Dorder.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_03: Dwarder.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_02: Um Whirlpools.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_03: So fun.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_02: But like so pedestrian too.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_03: Also so much effort so much effort for like what would uh amount to one rotation.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_03: Above water.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_03: I'm giving flip-flop.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_02: I'm giving wet flip-flop.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_02: Like.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but it would like you'd you'd you'd spin and you'd spin and you'd spin, and then you would like, okay, everybody, everybody go.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_03: And then you'd like float for like one like kind of like lazy rotation, and then it would be like it'd be done.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then be like, okay, everybody sprint again for another five hours.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_02: And then, but then also someone was either like, okay, float, or other way.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_02: And it was like with like moms.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_02: Doing aerobics.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_02: I feel like it was for the moms, the whirlpool.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I ever did a whirlpool.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_03: Well, yeah, I think the moms.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_03: I think the moms, I think it was for the moms.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: She was like, I'm not getting my hair wet, but I'm going in.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_03: And like, yeah, we will do something.
- 1:08:29SPEAKER_03: We'll do a group event.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_02: That's a little exercise based.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_02: And we're gonna go against the current, so we can have a couple more pizza strips when we get out.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_02: But I say pizza strips like everyone knows.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_02: Did you grow up with bakery pizza?
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_02: That's crazy that it's like local to like.
- 1:08:44SPEAKER_02: It's local to Rhode Island, yeah.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_02: But now Massage, like it's, you know, boy.
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_02: Why can't I fucking pizza strips in it ever again?
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_03: Apparently, I got I got the I got uh freaking news.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_02: On the break.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_02: During the break, Mike uh have found out yeah, it's celiac.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_03: I g I guess, yeah.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_03: My my my I got uh from my from my physical my the blood test results came back as being um outside the normal range for celiacs disease.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_02: Which is crazy because so many people like pretend to have celiac celiacs or like want celiacs, and like a lot of people don't.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_02: Like people who are like I have a gluten thing, more often than not actually don't have celiacs.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_02: They just like gluten is hard to digest for anyone, right?
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_02: You know, but wow, you have the real thing.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_03: I guess.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_03: I mean I gotta talk to my doctor, yeah.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_03: But I love bread and carbs.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, you're on an all-carb diet.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I had a muffin uh for lunch.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_02: The fact that you're still eating muffins in 2024.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_03: I my stomach was upset.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_03: So I was like, I want something that was like uh easy to digest, but apparently it's not.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_03: So no, your blueberry muffin lunch didn't work.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_03: Corn.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_02: Corn.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, double whammy, I guess.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_02: I love a corn muffin uh at Duncan microwave with butter.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_02: You could you try to say toasted, but they're like, sure, Jan.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_02: And popped in the micro.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_02: What are they gonna do?
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_03: I was I literally was just about to get into like eating bread again, like full time.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_03: Like I know buying loaves.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_02: Popping up a chest.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_02: Like I need to get skinny.
- 1:10:11SPEAKER_02: So I'm like fuck.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_03: But I but see, my weird selling it's like I love like uh I'm like I'm I can't wait to eat some gluten-free bread.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_03: Like I can't wait.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm gonna go like fake vegan for like no reason.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_02: I love like I know you kind of like we're soup uh you like woo the win for the community that he got celiacs.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_02: What were you talking about before your celiac expensive mom's in the pool?
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_02: Whirlpool, bakery pizza.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_03: Didn't you like want your mom to come in the pool so bad?
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_03: Like, wasn't there something sort of like weirdly Freudian about that?
- 1:10:39SPEAKER_03: You're like, join me in the water, mother.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_03: Come be beautiful with me in the water.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_02: It was like my grandma, it was my nana.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_02: I was like grandma in my life.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_02: But my nana, it was her pool again, way too small, should not have had a pool, an inn ground in there.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_02: But getting her in there would never happen.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_02: So that was like the excitement.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_02: It was like, huh, but yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_02: Parents in general, like get in here, get in here.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_03: And mom was like, I'm not coming in.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_03: I'm not coming in.
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_02: She used to ride the on the back of like your dad.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_02: That's so fun.
- 1:11:09SPEAKER_02: I try to do that with my like niece and nephew recently.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_02: Maybe a little too young.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_02: Can they hold a breath?
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_02: Gino could, like the oldest.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_02: Oh no, no, Joanna's the oldest.
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_02: But uh, they don't hold on tight enough.
- 1:11:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like I can feel them lagging and like surfacing.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_02: I'm like, you need to clutch this whale and get to the other side.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_02: And if you need breath, just let go and find your breath.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_02: But clutch the whale, sweetie.
- 1:11:34SPEAKER_02: You're not gonna, you're dragging me down.
- 1:11:36SPEAKER_02: You're drowning Uncle.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_02: You're you're killing Uncle.
- 1:11:39SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_02: We're trying to.
- 1:11:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:11:41SPEAKER_02: My mom also.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_02: We all are.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_02: It's a group effort.
- 1:11:44SPEAKER_02: She's like, Yeah.
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_02: Alright, pull.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_02: Mine.
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_02: Snoop and Martha.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_02: Oh god.
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_02: Thoughts?
- 1:11:55SPEAKER_02: Uh it's still ongoing.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_02: It is still ongoing.
- 1:11:58SPEAKER_02: So now at this point, at first it was like this is like ironicity stunt.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_02: Or like, yeah, it's like for you know.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_02: It felt very stunty.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_02: It's very stunty.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_02: It's very stunty, but maybe not so much anymore because they still like our friends and in it to win it.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_02: But do you think they fuck?
- 1:12:12SPEAKER_02: Do I think they fuck?
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_02: I kind of do.
- 1:12:15SPEAKER_03: I do.
- 1:12:15SPEAKER_03: She's like, be careful of my face.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_03: It's my fourth facelift.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_03: She's like, doggy again.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_02: Casserole.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_02: Doggy.
- 1:12:22SPEAKER_02: Snoop.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_02: Amazing doggy.
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_02: I I don't know.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_02: Now at this point, I'm kind of like, that's why I threw it in the bowl.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_02: Because I was like, I wanted to know if you thought they fuck.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_02: Now, by now, again, it was so so stunty, but now I do think they have a genuine friendship, and I'm like, okay.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_03: And you think it's romantic and sexual?
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_02: No, I don't know.
- 1:12:39SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_02: What do you think?
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_02: If you were probably like that.
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_02: Do you think they probably fuck?
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_02: Why are they friends still?
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_02: Business?
- 1:12:48SPEAKER_02: It's beyond that.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_02: Because like you'll catch Pat photos of them like catching up.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, I don't know that.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_02: Marth?
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_02: Maybe I'm lying.
- 1:12:57SPEAKER_02: Maybe it's just business.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:13:00SPEAKER_03: It's at the point where I'm like, do they fuck?
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_03: Well, like she sells edibles now.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_03: Like that's like something.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_03: So I feel like maybe that was like her some like brilliant manager was like, you should connect with someone in the weed space so that you can like you know parlay that into like a business venture that involves selling.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_03: I hate their friendship.
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_03: But I don't think they're having sex.
- 1:13:21SPEAKER_03: I think they have three phone calls a year.
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_03: That's that's my vibe.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_03: Do you think they smoke a doobie?
- 1:13:26SPEAKER_03: I think uh I think she's like shnoo.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_03: Why couldn't it possibly?
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_03: She's like, Do you have heroin?
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_02: Something harder?
- 1:13:34SPEAKER_02: Shnoo.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_02: When I was in prison, uh we got into some really crazy shit.
- 1:13:38SPEAKER_02: I forgot she went to prison.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_02: Wow, she looks amazing in um in orange.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_02: Behind bars, yeah, in orange.
- 1:13:46SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 1:13:47SPEAKER_03: I think she wore tan.
- 1:13:48SPEAKER_03: Um I think it was she did.
- 1:13:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think it was cushy.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_02: Prison um, what are they called?
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_03: Stripes?
- 1:13:53SPEAKER_03: Uh fatigues?
- 1:13:55SPEAKER_03: No, that's uh military.
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_02: When did they come out with khaki?
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_03: When did they come out with khaki?
- 1:13:59SPEAKER_03: For prison?
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_02: What tier is that?
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_02: What crime did you do there for that?
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_02: For the khakis.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_02: I think for like the banana republic.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_03: Like I think khaki, I think khaki's gotta be like mid to low security because like orange is like we gotta see you at all times.
- 1:14:13SPEAKER_03: Otherwise you're we're in trouble.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_02: Strape doesn't exist.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_02: That's Halloween.
- 1:14:17SPEAKER_02: That's all.
- 1:14:17SPEAKER_02: You can pull the topic.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_03: Um, I pulled the topic teeth.
- 1:14:21SPEAKER_03: Like, how how are they?
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_03: Your issues, etc.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_03: from Edie.
- 1:14:25SPEAKER_03: Oh, Edie Monica.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_03: Edie, we miss you.
- 1:14:28SPEAKER_03: We love you, Edie Modi.
- 1:14:30SPEAKER_02: Teeth, teeth problems, teeth in general.
- 1:14:33SPEAKER_02: Um I want veneers.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_02: I know my doctor.
- 1:14:35SPEAKER_02: They're not gonna be horse teeth, they're gonna be unclockable.
- 1:14:38SPEAKER_02: Hundred grand soon.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_03: That's someone sponsor them.
- 1:14:42SPEAKER_03: Insane how expensive that could possibly be.
- 1:14:45SPEAKER_03: Like you you have, you know how long it took Trixie Mattel to get veneers?
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_02: Where I want to go.
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_02: Like I know where she went.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but it's like Dr.
- 1:14:51SPEAKER_03: Stanley.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_03: How many years of of literal upward growth until she got to the point where she could do the top and not even the bottom?
- 1:15:00unknown: Mama.
- 1:15:00SPEAKER_02: There are two leading doctors, and I want to say on the West Coast, it's Dr.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_02: Salem Salah for veneers, and then East Coast in New York, Dr.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_02: Appa.
- 1:15:09SPEAKER_02: Um, who I will go to because I think I prefer his work.
- 1:15:13SPEAKER_02: Dr.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_02: Salem Salah, that tricks he went to, does great, great work.
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_02: He's again in top of the field, but it is a slightly more veneer look.
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_02: Because some people, if they're putting all that money in, they want the they want it to look like they want they want it to look fake.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:15:26SPEAKER_02: They want a little, they want they want perfection.
- 1:15:28SPEAKER_02: And his perfection is still really natural and beautiful, but I'm just like, I still, it's a little more stylized than like Appa is like gorgeous teeth that are just so so so real.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_03: Well, often um That's where I'm going.
- 1:15:40SPEAKER_03: People will have temporary veneers before they get the final ones in.
- 1:15:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, got it.
- 1:15:43SPEAKER_03: So you'll so you'll see when you notice someone gets new teeth, what you're often seeing is the the intermediate stage.
- 1:15:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like Hill Duff's.
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Hill Duff, we really bullied her.
- 1:15:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she's like, guys, they're temps, but she didn't say that.
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_02: She needed to.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_02: Like someone released.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_03: No one ever says they're temps.
- 1:16:01SPEAKER_03: It's like they're I'm dealing with it.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_03: Don't worry.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_02: Because no one wants to admit that like they've got their teeth underneath there, there's pencil points.
- 1:16:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_02: Someone recently was like, what if like money's tight?
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_02: And it was Kate, Kate Flohberg, front of the pod from 1896.
- 1:16:15SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 1:16:16SPEAKER_02: Uh was like, what if you lose a veneer and like money's tight?
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_02: Like, what do you do?
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_02: Like they're so so expensive.
- 1:16:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like a plastic.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_02: But they last 20 years.
- 1:16:26SPEAKER_02: If you go to the right person, they last like a while.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_02: But teeth, she's Edie's not just asking about veneers.
- 1:16:33SPEAKER_02: In fact, teeth, not even problems.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_03: I so I my I I chipped my um lower front tooth.
- 1:16:41SPEAKER_03: So I had to go and get that dealt with.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_02: Did they do it?
- 1:16:44SPEAKER_03: I went to this place, this like you know, startup y, like walk-in millennial dentist place in Union Square.
- 1:16:52SPEAKER_03: Called the Gap.
- 1:16:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:54SPEAKER_03: The gap, yeah.
- 1:16:56SPEAKER_03: Um and they they were trying to upsell me on fucking uh Maceter Botox and Masseter Botox.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_03: All kinds of stuff.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_03: And I was that ruined my faith.
- 1:17:03SPEAKER_03: So I so I went to the dentist that that Michael, my husband, goes to, and they fucking turned my shit out.
- 1:17:10SPEAKER_03: It was amazing.
- 1:17:10SPEAKER_03: They were so chill and fun and cool.
- 1:17:13SPEAKER_03: I don't know why I'm saying fun and cool.
- 1:17:14SPEAKER_03: But the first dentist was like, Oh, you're gonna need like a fucking 48-hour multiple session.
- 1:17:19SPEAKER_03: I did that one thousands of dollars cleaning and it's gonna be and it's gonna and it's gonna kill you.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_02: And this and then scam.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_02: Everything is a scam.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_03: And then I went to the second dentist and they were like, Yeah, you know, it's you you definitely are overdue, but let's see how it goes.
- 1:17:30SPEAKER_03: I was told, I've been told multiple times that I have like good teeth, that it's like my tooth health is is is fine, and like they, you know, I'm I don't I'm not prone to cat cavities and um Did you have a pallet expander ever?
- 1:17:43SPEAKER_03: I did.
- 1:17:43SPEAKER_03: I do too.
- 1:17:44SPEAKER_03: I had a pallet expander, I had I had braces as as a teen and had and I had adult braces.
- 1:17:47SPEAKER_03: And um Wow.
- 1:17:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, to uh you remember that.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_03: It was after college, yeah.
- 1:17:51SPEAKER_03: To tr to prevent uh bite issues that I sort of have I still uh deal with.
- 1:17:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:17:58SPEAKER_02: Um I used to have a palate spanner, but it wasn't the one that like needed the key to tighten.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_02: It was just like it did it, it did its own thing.
- 1:18:05SPEAKER_02: I never had braces.
- 1:18:07SPEAKER_02: I had a retainer, but it was like whenever you want.
- 1:18:09SPEAKER_02: I think I've talked about my Polish dentist who is really mean to me on the pod.
- 1:18:13SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 1:18:14SPEAKER_02: I think you have, yeah.
- 1:18:14SPEAKER_02: I think I have.
- 1:18:15SPEAKER_02: She's so so mean to me.
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_02: So I get scared and stressed.
- 1:18:17SPEAKER_02: And I can't, I have trauma on one side because when I was a kid, whatever, my first cavity, my like dentist was like, it's not that deep.
- 1:18:24SPEAKER_02: Didn't give me Novicane, and then was like, it's deeper than I thought.
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_02: I like blacked out in the chair.
- 1:18:27SPEAKER_02: It was like Jesus, yeah.
- 1:18:28SPEAKER_02: Horrible.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_02: And lo and behold, like that's the tooth that always fails.
- 1:18:33SPEAKER_02: So I have trouble getting numb, and my pulse dentist like gets mad at me because I can't get numb.
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, you're making me nervous, and I'm not getting numb because of like your attitude.
- 1:18:44SPEAKER_02: But whatever, love her.
- 1:18:45SPEAKER_02: She's kind of an iconic on the pod.
- 1:18:46SPEAKER_02: I have an overbite.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_02: I need to get my jaw done.
- 1:18:49SPEAKER_02: It's on my list, it's my goal.
- 1:18:52SPEAKER_02: When I pull the jaw, my jaw out of my skull, it's over for you, bitches.
- 1:18:57SPEAKER_02: It really is.
- 1:18:58SPEAKER_03: And you pull mine, push mine back, is my my problem.
- 1:19:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:19:03SPEAKER_02: I need to pull it out, and I will.
- 1:19:04SPEAKER_02: And I'm going to Texas.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_02: I know where all I've said this.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_02: My doctors.
- 1:19:09SPEAKER_03: All your doctors are.
- 1:19:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:19:12SPEAKER_02: Around the world.
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_02: Global work.
- 1:19:14SPEAKER_02: It's like get over yourself.
- 1:19:16SPEAKER_02: You have you're on Medicaid.
- 1:19:19SPEAKER_02: Queen.
- 1:19:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but teeth, they're they're um They're awesome.
- 1:19:24SPEAKER_03: They're they're yeah, they're we love them.
- 1:19:26SPEAKER_03: Uh no, they're they're they're they're complicated.
- 1:19:29SPEAKER_03: Uh I like a little bit of um naturalness in a to in a toothscape.
- 1:19:36SPEAKER_03: You know, I don't want I don't want it to be too perfect.
- 1:19:38SPEAKER_03: I think sometimes it can feel a little um I'll spend the hundred grand on like the undetectable.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:19:44SPEAKER_02: Like the really real idea.
- 1:19:45SPEAKER_03: Well, not even talking about uh veneer tooth.
- 1:19:46SPEAKER_03: I'm talking about like a normal human being.
- 1:19:48SPEAKER_03: Where it's like if somebody I guess veneers aren't for like when you meet somebody with like gappy teeth, sometimes it can be really hot.
- 1:19:55SPEAKER_03: My ex-girlfriend slash wife had that he's known, still has a gap tooth.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_03: Almost closed it, but yeah, it's kind of thig.
- 1:20:03SPEAKER_03: My husband has an underbite.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_03: I find that to be so.
- 1:20:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, him and I are always like, Yeah, let's collapse.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_03: Swap.
- 1:20:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:20:10SPEAKER_03: Final topic! It's me.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_03: It's you.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 1:20:14SPEAKER_03: It's you, it's you, it's all for you.
- 1:20:16SPEAKER_03: Oh, I was gonna go wicked with it.
- 1:20:18SPEAKER_02: Pully wicked, like, it's me, it's me.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_02: As I I say that all the time.
- 1:20:24SPEAKER_02: Wow, Julio! Urgent care.
- 1:20:27SPEAKER_02: The final topic.
- 1:20:28SPEAKER_02: Julio, congrats on being the final topic.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_03: Urgent care.
- 1:20:32SPEAKER_03: Urgent care.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:20:34SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_03: It's been a minute since I've been in an urgent care.
- 1:20:37SPEAKER_03: I used to tear it up around COVID because like you had to get your tests.
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_03: Well, here's the thing about urgent care.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_03: It's like sometimes you're going to a specialist and it just turns out that it's basically an urgent care where you're like sitting and waiting forever to like be seen by someone who has like the one microscope that you need to like look at your P or something.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_02: Um probe it.
- 1:20:56SPEAKER_02: I haven't been to urgent care in a second.
- 1:20:59SPEAKER_02: The last time I did um was when I, after our Mexico trip, thought I had ringworm.
- 1:21:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:21:06SPEAKER_02: And it had a weird shark bite on my belly.
- 1:21:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:21:08SPEAKER_02: It was more about that, but I had weird like teeth marks on my belly around my belly button, and uh no one had bitten it.
- 1:21:14SPEAKER_02: It was strange.
- 1:21:15SPEAKER_02: And it sucked because like the guy was like, You're seeing the whole like what I'm gonna do.
- 1:21:19SPEAKER_03: It looks it looked more like a weird, like yeah, it didn't look like ringworm, it looked more like a chemical, like maybe it was like sunscreen or like something had like No, the ringworm was in the back.
- 1:21:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because we like but but but he told me it wasn't ringworm.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_02: He's like, if it was ringworm, it would not have cleared up that quick.
- 1:21:33SPEAKER_03: I'm like, it was a red ring.
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_03: Well, it could have been like just some kind of you know bacterial thing.
- 1:21:38SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah.
- 1:21:39SPEAKER_03: I've gotten splotches on my back before where it's like, yeah.
- 1:21:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that were perfect and had Zamara circle leaping and um yeah the 666 was you had a shark butt on your belly.
- 1:21:48SPEAKER_03: Um what was that?
- 1:21:50SPEAKER_03: Uh that that to me that to me looked like chemical burn.
- 1:21:53SPEAKER_03: Like it was bad sunscreen that reacted with the sun.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_03: Like honestly, that's like that's what it looked like.
- 1:21:57SPEAKER_02: Internal.
- 1:21:57SPEAKER_02: It was yeah, it was not topical.
- 1:21:59SPEAKER_02: It wasn't a topical, it was coming.
- 1:22:00SPEAKER_03: So your liver was bleeding from the inside out?
- 1:22:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:22:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:22:03SPEAKER_03: Well, I guess it should be.
- 1:22:04SPEAKER_03: But the guy was like the guy was like, what pushing big B.
- 1:22:08SPEAKER_02: Because he was like, yeah.
- 1:22:09SPEAKER_02: He's like, what the fuck is in here?
- 1:22:11SPEAKER_02: But like, what else is he gonna do at urgent care?
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:22:14SPEAKER_02: He's like, you seem healthy.
- 1:22:15SPEAKER_02: So he poked it a bunch more, like way too much than he should have.
- 1:22:18SPEAKER_02: Because it was like, yeah, he's trying to like overcompensate.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_02: And uh when I shit in a clamshell, that was like maybe urgent care.
- 1:22:29SPEAKER_02: That was urgent care?
- 1:22:30SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:22:31SPEAKER_02: I I would hope that'd be like.
- 1:22:34SPEAKER_02: Because they were like, you might have E.
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_02: coli.
- 1:22:36SPEAKER_02: And I did.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_02: I still do.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_03: You still do?
- 1:22:39SPEAKER_02: Some people carry it forever.
- 1:22:41SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_03: The couch has it.
- 1:22:45SPEAKER_03: Anywho.
- 1:22:46SPEAKER_02: Anywho, um That's Topic's Palooza for you.
- 1:22:49SPEAKER_03: That's Topic's Palooza.
- 1:22:50SPEAKER_03: Dose.
- 1:22:51SPEAKER_03: Uh that's the end of summer.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_02: Wow, thank God.
- 1:22:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know, um I'm ready.
- 1:22:57SPEAKER_02: It's apple season.
- 1:22:57SPEAKER_02: Are you candy apple or caramel apple?
- 1:23:01SPEAKER_03: I guess they're both kind of annoying to eat, unfortunately.
- 1:23:04SPEAKER_03: That's how I feel about it.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I actually don't really want to.
- 1:23:07SPEAKER_02: I'm caramel apple, but I think my sister Reba is quit she loves a candy apple on my own.
- 1:23:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, wow.
- 1:23:13SPEAKER_03: How do you even begin to access the candy apple?
- 1:23:16SPEAKER_03: Was it like a like a chainsaw?
- 1:23:18SPEAKER_03: Like, God is beautiful.
- 1:23:19SPEAKER_03: They are beautiful, but it's like uh try eating it.
- 1:23:22SPEAKER_03: I I I does she get through the whole thing?
- 1:23:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_03: It's like that stick wasn't at a oh, okay.
- 1:23:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she chomped it all.
- 1:23:34SPEAKER_03: Garmel, I think, is what I would prefer, gun to head, but I'm gonna pass on both of them if I I just I'll take an apple.
- 1:23:40SPEAKER_03: And on that note, it's fall.
- 1:23:42SPEAKER_03: It's fucking fall.
- 1:23:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's fall.
