- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Get ready to go deep.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Now let's dive in.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: So this week's guest is so interesting.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: I have Chrissy Papetti on the show, and she is a gene keys expert.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: And I literally knew nothing about gene keys when I interviewed her.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And it's wildly fascinating.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: It is kind of associated with human design.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: I think they are like associated with each other somehow.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And the one human design reading I got was so incredibly accurate and detailed that it blew my mind.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: And it was literally describing me to a T.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: And then with Gene Keys, I actually had a reading with Chrissy after we recorded this episode.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: And it was also incredibly spot on about me and my soul's purpose and my personality and my gifts and my challenges and all of that.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: So I even bought the Gene Keys book because I want to continue to look into my Gene Keys chart or whatever you call it and understand it because it's wildly fascinating.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: And it's one of those rabbit holes that you can just continue to go down and learn more and more and more and more.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And it's kind of never ending.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: So if you are like me and you're interested in understanding your personality, your purpose, and uh really the unique things that make you you, I highly recommend diving into gene keys and looking up Chrissy's work and having a session with her because it was really, really fascinating and also very affirming with things that I knew about myself already, but she kind of was able to articulate them and show them through the gene keys.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: So it was really, really cool.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: So on this episode, she shares her story.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: She was a dancer in college, and then she had an injury, which kind of propelled her into this awakening process of doing what she's doing now.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: So you guys are really gonna love this episode, and I'm excited for you to hear it.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: So a couple announcements.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: One, my new program, Quantum Priestess, is open for enrollment right now.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: We are currently in early bird pricing, which is available until Sunday, the 10th, and that is only$4.97.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: And there's also a payment plan available.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: So it's like super easy, really available to you if you're feeling the pull.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: It's kind of a no-brainer.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: So, what is Quantum Priestess?
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: This is something that was downloaded to me after I was activated by a session I had with this woman, Debbie Solaris, that you guys are gonna hear on the next episode.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: She's a galactic historian and reads the Galactic Akashic Records.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: And she activated within me a knowing of my galactic lineage that I always knew and could feel, but she articulated in a way that it activated something within me.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: And I realized that I had been channeling this energy and activating this lineage within my clients.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: And I was basically receiving the download that I was to teach a course about this energy and activating this energy within all of you.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: So the quantum priestess energy is the energy of the Palladian high priestess, who is the master healer and quantum alchemist.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So I'm activating this energy within you, which is gonna activate all of your gifts and abilities from your galactic lineages and your other lifetimes as healers and psychics and priestesses.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: And it's it's it's hard to describe because I can just feel the energy of it.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: And I know that it's gonna activate you to a whole new level with whatever it is that you do.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: If you're a coach, if you are a healer, if you work with money or business, whatever it is, this is gonna activate something that's lying dormant within you so that you can take your craft, your work to the next level.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: So results that you can expect is a wildly new perspective on what you do and what your gifts are, calling in more clients, more abundance, more aliveness, having very much deeper understandings of your gifts and abilities and connecting with your galactic heritage and drawing on that knowledge and wisdom in a completely new way.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: So if this is something that you are feeling drawn to, if you're feeling the pull, reach out to me and I'll send you the link to sign up.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: We are an early bird until Sunday.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: And then also, just very quickly, you still have the option to get the Ascension toolkit at 40% off using the code energy at checkout.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: This is my digital toolkit that has four breath work sessions, three meditations, and journaling that hit all the big challenging areas that we come up against: fear, money, intuition, and relationships.

- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, that is all for today.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: And I'm sending you guys lots of love and enjoy the episode.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Hi guys, welcome back to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: So I'm super excited for today's guest, and I just I'm really excited because I feel like we're all gonna learn a lot from this episode and from this conversation.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: So today I have with me Chrissy Pipetti, who is a success coach and speaker, helping high achievers and leaders thrive by creating the lasting changes in their mind and body that they need to succeed.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: Seeing everything within and around us as life codes to crack.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Chrissy finds her clients with proven processes to reprogram their internal and external realities.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: So welcome to the show, Chrissy.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Elise.
- 7:14SPEAKER_02: I'm so excited to be here.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: So um, I know we have like a ton of stuff to talk about, but I just love to hear like a little bit of your story and how you kind of got to where you are now.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's um a little bit of a winding road and a bit of a doozy, as I feel like most of ours are, right?
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: But as succinct as I can be, it starts with just growing up, typical New Jersey suburban area.
- 7:40SPEAKER_02: My whole life revolved around activities.
- 7:42SPEAKER_02: And as I got older, it really centralized around my passion for dance.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: It was something I never let go of.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: As I got older, it just became more and more of something I took seriously.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: And I ended up being really competitive with it.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: And so when it came time to go to college, I wasn't ready to part with it.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: I had that, you know, voice in and around me that was like, this probably won't be a legitimate career, but you don't want to let it go.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: So I was like, all right, I'm going to take it with me into college and we'll see where it goes.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: So I went to school for dance.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: Um, I got a BFA in dance.
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: I was on the dance team at my school.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: It was my entire life, my entire identity.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: And about um right at the beginning of my junior year of college, I was in a dance class.
- 8:23SPEAKER_02: I did this big movement, felt my hip totally pop, walked it off, and was like, that was weird, but I kept dancing and soon realized that this was actually a uh labral tear.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: That I basically all that means is that like the thing that protects the socket of your hip tore off the bone, which is not a good thing to happen, um, but actually a pretty typical athletic injury.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: But for the next two years of my college career, I would have it misdiagnosed a million times.
- 8:55SPEAKER_02: I would be told that if I continued dancing, I wouldn't make it worse, but I wouldn't make it better.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: And so I had the lovely choice of deciding did I want to abandon and let go of my entire identity, my community, everything that made me who I was and what I knew of my life, or did I want to sit on the sidelines and ask the hard questions of like, who am I if I'm not dancing?
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: I'd rather be in pain and just push through it.
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: So, like a good dancer, in quotes, I pushed through it for the next two years.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: And while on the outside, not much really seemed to change, I was like deteriorating on the inside.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: I was in so much physical pain, no one really understood it because it wasn't like I broke my arm, no one could see it.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: So they were like, I don't get it, you're still dancing.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: So it was very, I was very misunderstood.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: I couldn't control my pains, so I turned to other things to try and grip control.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: So I began like over-controlling my eating, over-exercising, isolating myself, you know, it was a very dark time.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: And finally, when graduation came, I was ready to part ways with dance and just figure this out.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: And I went and had surgery.
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: So this was like the answer.
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: I was finally gonna get surgery, my pain would go away, everything would get better.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: And um, one year after surgery, I went for a checkup, pain was still there.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: They were like, that's pretty typical.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: Your laboral tear was really bad.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: Two-year checkup, three-year checkup.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: Um, my pain never went away.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: And in fact, it continued to grow and expand and move into my back and change, and it just became this plague over my life.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: So for the next bunch of years, I went to grad school for occupational therapy.
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: And amidst that, I was trying to find any solution out there in the world to cure and heal my pain.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: I tried everything you could possibly imagine in the medical model, every kind of therapy, every cortisone injections.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: I reconsidered other surgeries and basically landed myself six years later, crying to my mom, like, I can't do this anymore, right?
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: I feel like I'm living my life on pause until I heal this pain.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: And I guess I just need to resign to the fact that this is my new life.
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: And as like someone whose entire lifeline was movement, you can imagine just how devastating that was to feel so limited.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 11:11SPEAKER_02: She was like, I know you may not like this, but hear me out.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: And I was like, oh God.
- 11:17SPEAKER_02: My mom was like, What if this is kind of all in your head?
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: And I was like, How dare you suggest that this growing pain, like I couldn't walk like more than two blocks around New York City without taking a seat, like that kind of bad pain.
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: How can you tell me that's in my head?
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: How can you tell me I'm causing this to myself?
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: And she was like, I know of this person, I know of that person who had pain that was caused by, you know, blah, blah, blah.
- 11:44SPEAKER_02: And she was like, I just think maybe go talk to a therapist and just see like what's up.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: Because everything I tried up until that point was very physical treatment oriented, but none of it was mental or emotional.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: And so I was like, fine, you know, like I'll try it at this point.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: And so I went to a sports psychologist, and that was the moment that completely changed my entire trajectory for the rest of my life.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: And he basically taught me about the connection between your mind, your emotions, and the way that that physically manifests in the body.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: He gave me Dr.
- 12:16SPEAKER_02: John Sarno's book called Healing Vaccine.
- 12:19SPEAKER_02: And I went down that rabbit hole simultaneously in OT school.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: I ventured out and pursued further study and like chronic pain management.
- 12:26SPEAKER_02: And so I was learning all about the actual ins and outs of the mind-body connection.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: And I was floored, like floored that number one, we have so much power within ourselves to heal.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: But number two, that not one person on my near decade-long journey told me that, suggested that, ever even once, like brought that into the conversation.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: And so that year, basically in less than a year of figuring that all out, I healed my chronic pain entirely.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 12:56SPEAKER_02: I was at that point pulling over to the side of the road with panic attacks, all of my anxiety alleviated, you know, emerged out of a depression, got inspired to go off and start my own business.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: Like my entire life, like everything snowballed into this massive, massive shift.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: And I accredited it all to understanding a more about the mind-body connection.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: And so once I healed that for myself and got a really good sense of all that together, I was like, I need to dedicate my life to spreading this message.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: Like so many people out there suffering for all sorts of reasons, but not at least knowing how much capacity they have to influence the state of their reality, the state of how they feel.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: And so that inspired me to basically do the work that I'm doing today.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like that's obviously such an inspiring story, but I feel like it also we have to kind of get to that point for us to like really see, you know, and the other thing that I think is so crazy is just the fact that no one brought that up to you in all the ways that you were talking to doctors and all of these things.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: Like, how does no one bring that up?
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: And I think that's kind of why we're seeing the dismantling of Western medicine right now.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, the best of the best medical practitioners in in the New Jersey, New York City area, right?
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: Like the best of the best in in the country, not one of them was like, oh, your pain is lasting for a really long time.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: And anyway, chronic pain always has some sort of mental emotional component.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: Try try this resource.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: You know, like never once was that conversation brought up to me.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: So I just was like, sure, inject anything into me.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: Like, do whatever.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: Like, I was just taking on all of these, basically, right?
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: Like healing the um symptom, not the actual root cause situations.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: And it was so defeating.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's really disempowering because it's kind of like I'm completely out of control.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: I have no control over this.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: And then, like, when you switch the paradigm to like, oh, this is completely coming from me.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: I have complete control over this, and just realizing like the underlying energetics, yeah, that we basically create our own reality.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: And I always say to people, like, there's every single symptom, every single physical thing that we have, there's always an emotional component to it.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: But it's just not how we were taught, right?
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: And we we also are taught this programming of like the authority is outside of you, and you need to listen to somebody else to get the information that you need about you.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: And that is also actually the opposite.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: And like once you finally realize, like, oh, I'm in charge here, then that's when everything really shifts.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: So I'm interested to know, like, from that point, like then when you were like, okay, I have to dedicate my life to this, like, where did you go first?
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Because I know you do work with the gene keys, which I really want to talk about, but like how did you kind of get to that point of like, you know, these because I know you've studied other things too.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: So what was kind of the next thing for you or the first thing?
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, great question.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: So basically, what was happening at that point?
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: So I I went to and got my master's uh in occupational therapy because I I knew I wanted to go into a helping profession.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: Like it felt right to support people with their wellness and OT for people who don't know, because a lot of people are like, I know what physical therapy is, I don't really know what occupational therapy is.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: I always like to say it's basically like the licensed health coach profession.
- 16:22SPEAKER_02: So basically it's medicine, meets teaching, meets psychology, all wrapped up into one.
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: And basically, you help people adapt, heal, transform their mind, body, kind of soul, um, environment to help maximize their quality of life and their functional independence.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: So that can look like anything from helping someone post-stroke learn how to feed and redress themselves again.
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: So it can be that physical, or it can be helping a child with autism learn life skills that are going to help them be more independent in their community.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: It can also look like someone who's a sidelined athlete, like learning how to make that transition to the next chapter of their life.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: So it's such a broad and wide scope profession.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: And so I was so excited to go into it.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: So I jumped into my first job, which was on a brain trauma unit, helping individuals post-brain trauma.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: And I enjoyed the rewarding nature of helping people, but I was like, oh my gosh, we're so limited with what we're able to do within the confines of insurance and the medical model.
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: And it was driving me up an actual wall because I was like, wow, my only priority is like finish your notes, get from one patient to the next.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: You only have this much time, so squeeze in what you can.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: And I was like, I don't feel like I'm like I'm helping people, obviously.
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: And people are gaining independence, but there's so much more we could be doing.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: And so I just was having that internal battle.
- 17:43SPEAKER_02: Just to put this all in context, I got injured on the job because I'm transferring like dependent people, right?
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: Um, so I look, it was very physically demanding.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: I got injured on the job.
- 17:53SPEAKER_02: I was out for three months unexpectedly, and that was like the greatest blessing in disguise because it was the first time in my life I ever had like time to just do nothing, right?
- 18:06SPEAKER_02: I wasn't in school and needing to do homework.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: I wasn't needing to get to work.
- 18:11SPEAKER_02: I just was like paused.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: And that's when I went and saw the sports psychologist.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: That's when I kind of had like the breakdown that kind of started to kick everything into gear.
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: And I say this because then I went back to a different OT job, um, the one that I thought was my dream job.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: I was working on an infant toddler unit, helping babies like regain their skills, having the same experience, feeling really limited in what I was able to do, but all the while healing myself in the background.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: And so it was kind of this culmination of like, wow, I don't feel like I'm hitting what I can really do here.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: And on the outside, learning how much I was like transforming myself and wanting to help people with that.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: And so I had this epiphany of like, I need to go off and do my own thing.
- 18:51SPEAKER_02: And so that's when I took the leap to start my own business, jumped into doing coaching, got certifications and further study to kind of prepare for that.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: And so that's how I began.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: I began with really marketing myself to help people sidelined athletes, help people in transition, really make that shift into healing their mind-body connection to start their new chapter and to like live their lives on their terms, you know, activating their power.
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: So that was kind of like the story of how it all got started.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: And in the process of coaching, um, you know, you learn a lot, you start to learn about business and how to kind of shape it and get in touch with your people.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: And in the midst of that, I discovered I was also, okay, I healed myself.
- 19:31SPEAKER_02: What's next?
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: And the next sort of chapter of my journey was self-discovery, which I'm curious to hear too about like your experience with that.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: But I feel like self-discovery has been such a huge part of my journey in terms of like using tools to kind of figure out who am I, you know, like, or who have I been told to be?
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: And what do I need to kind of shed?
- 19:51SPEAKER_02: And how do I step into more of who I am here so I can really live life on my terms?
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: And so I discovered human design.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: And that was my gateway into wow, feeling so seen, feeling like something, you know, could really reflect back to me my authentic nature.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: And then it was a natural progression to finding gene keys because, in a lot of ways, they're sister systems, they kind of go hand in hand.
- 20:10SPEAKER_02: The founder of Gene Keys came from the human design world.
- 20:14SPEAKER_02: So it just became this whole immersion into those two systems.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: And that's once I experienced the power of them for myself, I was like, oh wow, I want to spread the power of these and how to incorporate them into your transformation journey.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: So I can totally relate because you know, I don't know if you know this about me, but I was a school counselor for 10 years.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: So, first of all, I'm very familiar with OT.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: So I know, and I'm glad you explained it, but like I knew it from the school side, right?
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: Because we had an OT, a really great OT in the school I worked at for a long time, which you know, a lot of kids need.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: But it's interesting because I I can totally relate to how you felt because I felt the exact same way as a school counselor.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: I was like, after, you know, maybe the first two years of my job, and you know, I loved my job and I was really good at it and it was great for a long time.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Obviously, I did it for a decade, but I felt the same way.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Like I was very clear that I was only utilizing maybe like 20% of my abilities in that job.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: And I was aware of that for a long time.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: And then I knew that I had to shift and like the universe kind of gave me a push.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Like there was like all this drama that happened at my job.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, I think this means I need to get a better job, right?
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: So I manifested like my dream job.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: It was literally like the best school counseling job I could have ever imagined.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: It was like the best boss, the most progressive school.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: Like I created a meditation program.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: It was literally like I got a raise.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: It was literally like a dream job.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: And then as soon as I got there, I was like, oh no.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: So I can totally relate to like a lot of what you're sharing.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: And And I felt the exact same way.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: But I guess, like for the audience, I think everyone's probably familiar with human design.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: But I know for me, I've only had like one big long human design, like one-on-one reading, but it really did change my life because just understanding it's so intricate and scientific.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: And like I felt so seen in that reading.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: I was just like, oh my God, you're literally describing me.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: So, but maybe you can talk a little bit about like human design, just for people who might not be as familiar with it.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: And then if you can just talk about like gene keys and like what that is, because I literally know nothing about that.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: So I'd love to talk more about that too.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: So maybe just like a little overview of human design and then what are gene keys, and we can really dive into that.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: So human design, so they're both self-discovery or self-uh awareness tools.
- 22:57SPEAKER_02: And so human design and gene keys are both built upon very sound scientific and theoretical concepts, right?
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: So it kind of combines the art and the science piece or sort of you can say the spirituality in the science to really transform the way you see yourself or how you look at the world around you.
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: Human design is more a system that says, here's how you're designed to work, right?
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: Like if you're if you have a blueprint to how you use your energy and how you exchange it with others, this is what that looks like.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: And that therefore, if you start to embody this, or not start to, but if you like let go of everything that's not you and that therefore you embody who you really are, you're gonna experience less resistance in the world.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: You're gonna be able to manifest things more easily, have relationships that are more solid and fulfilling.
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: And so it gives you kind of the ins and outs of how you work.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:51SPEAKER_02: On the other hand, the gene keys goes hand in hand because it says, cool, like that's how you work.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: Um, but we are also people built with this survival programming, right?
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: We have fear at the forefront that on a nervous system level helps us survive.
- 24:07SPEAKER_02: And you can be this person, like you can have this design of how to move through the world, but you're gonna come up against these really natural human challenges of like facing things that are gonna scare you or stop you or make you feel hindered based on your past, you know, conditioning, like the things that you learned were unsafe and safe growing up, but also just real world, you know, challenges.
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: And so human design gives you a tool to basically identify those very fears that you're more prone to being able to experience in your human experience, and even better, the higher expression of those fears.
- 24:41SPEAKER_02: So when you see those fears popping up, how do you counteract them?
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: How do you literally almost neutralize them so that you're embodying a higher frequency and therefore you're not only living into your design, but you're living into your design free from those fears, uninhibited by those fears.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: So the gene keys kind of gives you a whole language and a system and a roadmap to navigate from basically point A to let's just say point B on your map, but almost like with the challenges and roadboxes that you're gonna face along the way.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Like if you I kind of like imagery.
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: So if you think of like being at the base of a mountain and you're trying to reach the summit, instead of saying like, here's this path, right?
- 25:23SPEAKER_02: Like winding path up the mountain, go this way, it says here's the path, but also over here, you're gonna hit like an avalanche section.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: So you might want to reroute to this way.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: And over here, you're gonna come up against a fence.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: So you're gonna have to jump it and then go over there.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 25:37SPEAKER_02: So it kind of gives you the challenges that you're gonna be predestined to face, and therefore how you can again further eliminate resistance and really own who you are and who you're gonna be.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: That's so cool.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: So wait, is it based on your birthday, like human design is?
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: So you plug in your birth information based on the planetary alignment.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: So there are 64 different gene keys, which means that there are just 64 different archetypes of human behavior that we all embody.
- 26:05SPEAKER_02: They're all in our DNA and our genetics based on human evolution.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: And so, based on your birth information, the idea is that there are 11 of those 64 different patterns that are particularly prominent in your own design.
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: Like these are the ones that you're are probably gonna recur and come up and kind of cause you those challenges, but just because they're part of what's helping you evolve into who you're here to be.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: And so based on your birth information, you get like a roadmap of those 11 gene keys, and they give you again like a language to through which to see the energetics showing up in your life and how to navigate them.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: That's so cool.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: So, like, what would be an example?
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Because again, I don't know anything about gene keys.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: If you're telling me about astrology and human design, I'll be like, okay, I can tell you what I am, I know all the things.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: But um, gene keys, I don't.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: So, like, what's your things that you work with so we can get an idea of like what it looks like?
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: So, first of all, when you see it, it'll be a little bit easier to understand.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: So, if you're listening to this and you want to go type in gene keys.com slash free dash profile, you can just pull up your profile really quick.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: It's still gonna look kind of like the way when you look at your human design profile for the first time.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: It's like, what the hell is going on?
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: So it's still gonna be like, wait, what?
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: But um, it'll at least put what I'm talking about into context.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: So every one of these gene keys has three words that goes with it.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: And the three words are called the shadow, the gift, and the city, meaning that in this archetype of human behavior, this is the shadow expression, which is fear-based, mind-oriented, keeping you limited.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: The city is the opposite of that.
- 27:45SPEAKER_02: You can't embody both of them at the same time.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: So this is the highest frequency of that archetype of human behavior.
- 27:51SPEAKER_02: And the way to get from that fear-based to that trust-based frequency, you go through the gift.
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: So it's like the gift is that process of transformation, that very thing you need to actively work to embody so that you transform that fear into the higher expression, which scientifically I think is amazing because you're literally it's telling you how to rewire your neural pathways of fear, right?
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: Wait, this is so crazy.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: I just have to stop you for a second to tell you this crazy thing.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: So I just before this call, right before this call, I was on a call with my group program, the Quantum Accelerator.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: And like what I do in that program is I channel energetic upgrades and it's support and spiritual tools and stuff like that.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: So it's like how to work with your own energy.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: And one of my clients was talking about perfectionism.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: And literally what came through for me is exactly what you're talking about right now.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: And literally, I have no idea about Gene Keys, but what came through for me is how the perfectionism, and it could be anything.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: I'm just using perfectionism as an example.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: There is a higher expression of that, right?
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: Which is why she's so good at what she does.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: And then there's a gift in that.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: I literally said these words.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: This is so weird.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: I literally said this, that there's a gift in that, and that all we really want to do in this is heal, like the shadow expression of it, right?
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Which is like where it's holding her back or keeping her stuck or keeping her in fear around being not good enough, or like, you know, what's underneath of the perfectionism, which is like needing external validation or feeling not good enough.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: But I literally use these words, which I haven't ever used.
- 29:35SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, you are channeling the connection.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: I was like channeling this conversation.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: Like, this is so crazy, which also leads me to to feel like I really need to go deeper with this.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I definitely want to do that.
- 29:50SPEAKER_02: But yeah, no, clearly you're on you're on some wavelength with the gene keys right now.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that's crazy.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay, so keep going.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: So that, so what would be an example of like one of the things?
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, let's even like tie in what you were just talking about.
- 30:06SPEAKER_02: So um, because this will kind of really ground it.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: So, yes, we face things and patterns all the time that limit us, right?
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: So let's take perfectionism, which yeah, as you were saying, underneath that could be the external validation, X, Y, Z, which is always coming underneath all of that, it's always coming from fear, right?
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: Perfectionism is driven by fear.
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: Overcompensation or people pleasing is driven by fear.
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: Like all of our shadow patterns are driven by fear, okay?
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: A hundred percent.
- 30:33SPEAKER_02: So the jinkeys has like all these different words for the way that those fears can show up in the human experience.
- 30:38SPEAKER_02: So, or kind of like what the drivers are, right?
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: So we have perfectionism, which is the behavior and the act.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: And so you could take the 29th Ginky, which is the shadow of half-heartedness, for example, or an even better one, actually.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: Let's take a different one.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: Um, an even better one that could explain this is the shadow of failure, right?
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Because a lot of what drives people who have perfectionist behavior is actually a fear of failure, right?
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: A fear of not living up to some expectation because then they're not good enough, worthy enough, X, Y, Z.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: What you would look at is like seeing, okay, the shadow of failure comes from this deep-rooted fear, right?
- 31:17SPEAKER_02: Of needing to live up to some sort of expectations that our mind sets, right?
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: It's not even real.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: It's something that we picked up or it came from somewhere else.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: And so you could see that the perfectionism is being driven by that.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: The gift, the um way of basically like transforming that failure into a higher expression is through the gift of preservation.
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: And so, what does that mean?
- 31:43SPEAKER_02: The gift of preservation through the gene keys means when you are able to get out of your mind and actually look at what matters and what doesn't matter, right?
- 31:54SPEAKER_02: You're kind of dropping those expectations, you're detaching from the things that you you've picked up.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: You're able to actually preserve and really get a sense of how to move through the world and how you're best able to show up again on your accord, on your terms.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: And so it becomes a lot easier to sort of navigate what's coming from you and what's not coming from you, which is really the way to kind of dismantle the whole even notion of fear.
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: And the other thing that like really roots the preservation down is that whole concept that we hear all the time that failure or mistakes are always valuable because they're providing us information that then sends us where we need to go next.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: So the gift is being able to preserve, like look at your quote unquote failures or look at those missteps and say, where did this lead me next?
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: Or where is this asking me to go, or what am I taking from this that's informing my next decision?
- 32:44SPEAKER_02: So you become this really masterful preserver of like the actual information that matters and the ability to kind of see through the notion or the illusion of fear, if that makes sense.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: So you're kind of like clearing away all the muck or the programming or the stuff that's keeping you stuck, and you're just seeing it clearly for what it is.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: And so I think what's cool about this is that like people who have dealt with perfectionism or the notion of being afraid of failure, what I'm saying isn't like probably new information, right?
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: This is probably something you've heard before in other ways.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: But what's nice about the Gene Keys tool is that it gives names to the actual energetic frequencies of what you're doing.
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: So that when you're being perfectionistic and you take a minute and you're like, oh, this is my shadow of failure coming up in this moment, or kind of to help me move forward, I need to be stepping into preservation, right?
- 33:38SPEAKER_02: Like, what am I taking from this?
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: You actually have like words to kind of do the work that you're you hear all the time that you need to do.
- 33:46SPEAKER_02: And why this is powerful is because language literally shapes what we see.
- 33:52SPEAKER_02: So it's hard to actually sometimes shift your energy out of those lower into those higher frequencies if you don't have a name for what it all is.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: You're not like naming it, you're not calling it something.
- 34:05SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 34:05SPEAKER_02: And therefore you're not able to even like see it clearly.
- 34:08SPEAKER_02: Like you might be able to sense it something's off or something like that, but you're not able to actually do something about it.
- 34:14SPEAKER_02: So that's what I love about this.
- 34:15SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you've heard like or have read, um, I haven't read it yet, but Brene Brown's new book that came out called Atlas of the Heart.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: No.
- 34:24SPEAKER_02: It's basically that Atlas of the Heart.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: It's a language for how to um talk about the experiences that we're feeling on an energetic emotional level.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: And so she goes into how like language helps us not only gain awareness, right?
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: Which is like what this whole tool is about, but helps us actually communicate or relate to other people on what we're all going through.
- 34:46SPEAKER_02: Because again, it's giving descriptors to the very things that we're all navigating.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: And like I feel like this is so helpful just because we grow up without any kind of language or support around like emotions or like literally the human experience, right?
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: Like we go to school and we have to learn like subjects, and we don't get any support around like what we're actually experiencing on an emotional level as a human.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: And that's really what the human experience is.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: Like we're emotional beings, yet we receive zero support or modeling on how to deal with these emotions.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: So this kind of thing is incredibly important to like give people a language or a roadmap for being human and like having emotions.
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: Cause a lot of times what you know, what we've been taught to do is like suppress our emotions because they're not convenient or they're not comfortable and they make other people uncomfortable.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: So just don't deal with them, right?
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: And that's why everybody's sick and have addictions and whatever else.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: So this is incredibly important.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: So I guess my next question with this would be like, so how do you incorporate this stuff into what you do with clients and how do you like work with people and how do you incorporate all these tools?
- 36:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, basically I I use this tool as like integrative with other things, right?
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: So, you know, as you can kind of sense, this is basically helping people become pattern readers of their own life, right?
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: This is the whole thing that you read, you know, in my bio earlier about like life just being codes to crack, right?
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Like, ooh, what what are these shadows in my experience?
- 36:39SPEAKER_02: Where are they coming from?
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: And basically, what is the counter, you know, the antidote to basically rewiring that on a neural level.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: And so basically I help people use this tool to not only identify those prominent patterns, but then basically work to embody the gift and therefore step into what's called the city.
- 36:56SPEAKER_02: And that process, I mean, it sounds so simple, right?
- 36:59SPEAKER_02: But as we know, fear likes to, you know, rear its head and kind of make things challenging for us.
- 37:04SPEAKER_02: So I help people troubleshoot the integration of this into their life and basically also give them tools to on a daily basis and on a weekly basis regulate their nervous system in the midst of making this really big shift.
- 37:17SPEAKER_02: Basically, you're stepping into a new normal, right?
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: What does life look like when fear isn't running the show?
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be a little scary at times.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: It involves risk, it involves the unknown.
- 37:27SPEAKER_02: I can't just give this tool and be like, cool, now you have the answers.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: It's like, how do you actually integrate that with showing your body it's safe to do this?
- 37:34SPEAKER_02: You know, how do you kind of work out those steps?
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: So basically I help them navigate that using this as sort of their guide.
- 37:41SPEAKER_02: And what's really cool is that they have a roadmap now to say, I have something where it's reflecting back to me what I'm going through that makes me feel more at ease, that I'm not just kind of making up or I, you know, it kind of takes the questioning out of the whole situation because I'm sure you see in your work too, people might land upon like an epiphany or a breakthrough, but then they're like, am I just making this up?
- 38:02SPEAKER_02: Or is it just because I think this way?
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: Or there's all that questioning where sometimes when you have a tool outside of yourself mirroring it back and you feel the truth, you're like, oh, okay, then I can actually really trust that this is something I'm working through or that I need to step into.
- 38:16SPEAKER_02: So it kind of like takes out the guesswork, if that makes sense.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, totally.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think everyone wants a roadmap, right?
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're all just like trying to figure this shit out.
- 38:30unknown: Yeah.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: So that's like really helpful and sounds great.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, I definitely need to know about my own gene keys.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: So then do you work with people like for longer periods of time?
- 38:43SPEAKER_00: Like I know you can just do like a gene key thing, but then like, do you work with people for longer periods of time?
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: And like, what does that look like?
- 38:50SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 38:50SPEAKER_02: So I can help people just kind of familiarize themselves with the tool, have that one-off gene key session just to get a taste of what it's all about and get, you know, go through a breakthrough.
- 39:00SPEAKER_02: And then um, my preferred way though is to both yes, one-on-one, spend a longer extended period of time.
- 39:07SPEAKER_02: So that usually looks like anything from three to six months where we can like get to the heart of what's most prominent in your profile that's showing up in your life now and really troubleshoot and integrate the work into making those radical changes and to really reprogram the neural pathways.
- 39:23SPEAKER_02: So it looks like, yeah, this one-on-one weekly kind of intensive work together with accountability and action steps and tools and stuff like that.
- 39:31SPEAKER_02: I also in truly enjoy, and there's some things in the works with the group coaching around this because it's a tool that just has never similar to human design.
- 39:40SPEAKER_02: There's never-ending self-exploration within it.
- 39:43SPEAKER_02: So you could literally spend the rest of your life sitting with this information, you know, you know, working it out, learning more about yourself.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: And so I found that people make sense of it the most and have the most breakthroughs when they're in conversation about it in with one another.
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: So it's not just like me figuring this out.
- 40:02SPEAKER_02: It's like, oh, you talking about your shadow just made me realize this about my shadow, or we have the same one.
- 40:08SPEAKER_02: And like, let's talk about how it's both showing up differently for us.
- 40:11SPEAKER_02: And so it kind of is really magical to see that happen and just basically be the person who's like simplifying and translating this system because similar to human design, it's complex.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: Like there's a lot of parts to it, there's a lot of aspects of the profile.
- 40:25SPEAKER_02: So, what is your human design?
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: So um, I'm a manifesting generator.
- 40:30SPEAKER_02: So am I too?
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: I find I connect with so many MGs, and I know MGs and generators are you know the more prominent type, but I connect with so many MGs on my jersey.
- 40:44SPEAKER_02: I have an emotional authority, meaning that to make decisions, I have to ride an emotional wave.
- 40:49SPEAKER_02: I don't have that kind of like in the moment clarity.
- 40:52SPEAKER_02: And um, I have a 6'2 profile.
- 40:55SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
- 40:56SPEAKER_02: That's that like role model hermit archetype.
- 40:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's interesting.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: And then what's your astrology?
- 41:02SPEAKER_02: So I am an Aquarius sun.
- 41:06SPEAKER_02: I have what is it?
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: My moon is Virgo and my rising is Scorpio.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that's so funny because we so I am a Scorpio sun, Aquarius moon, and then yeah, and then I have a Pisces rising.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: So I feel like we connect probably really well astrologically.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know much more about astrology than ever than anything else, but then I'm also um MJ in human design, but I'm a sacral authority, and then I'm a one-three.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, cool.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know what a one, I forget what one three means, but I know I know that's what I am.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: Little snippet, like, you know, it's that investigator.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: It's called a martyr archetype, but really it's more just like about you're somebody who probably recognizes yourself as someone who like loves to learn more information, loves to like really dig into the weeds of how things work, like kind of research a ton and kind of learn a lot about things to make yourself feel even more secure in what you do know and how you present that information to the world.
- 42:07SPEAKER_02: But you also are on this journey of like your life's gonna be a lot of like ups and downs because you learn about what's correct and what's not correct for you and people around you through your own trial and error.
- 42:18SPEAKER_02: So you're very much gonna be like embracing failure is really like a huge part of your journey because you're gonna be that very person to be like, I know this is so true because I went through this hard time or I hit this rock bottom or I went up against this challenge.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: So yeah, that's definitely me.
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I've been like researching shit since I was like a kid, just like of trying to figure out like what is going on here on this planet and just crazy stuff since I was like 19 or something like that.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it's crazy.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: I always was like trying to figure out the real history.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't think what they're telling us.
- 42:55SPEAKER_00: Like, I was a history major, like I was secondary ed in and social studies, like history.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: So I took all these history classes and I was always super interested in it, but I could tell that it wasn't they weren't really telling us what actually happened.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: And I was like always trying to figure that out.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: And then by like 19, I was like reading David Ike and like going down rabbit holes of like crazy shit.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: So you're definitely describing me.
- 43:21SPEAKER_02: Like that is me.
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: That is me.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: That is me.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: And even now I feel like I'm constantly always learning and always teaching.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: And I know that's also like in my astrology, but all of this stuff is just like so helpful for people because you know, there's like this programming that we step into, which is just like, okay, well, this is how you have to do things, and like everyone does things so differently.
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: And then you like feel bad about yourself if you don't do things that way.
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: And then when like you discover these tools, you're like, oh, like it's actually okay to be me.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:59SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 43:59SPEAKER_02: It's Like, wow, I'm I'm getting permission, even though like we don't need it, but it's kind of that that that affirmation of like, oh, this thing I'm sensing, or you know, it's true, or like this is actually something that you know I can take at face value and not question or second guess.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or feel like there's something wrong with me.
- 44:19SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: So this is kind of an interesting question.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: And I'm just curious, like as somebody who was, you were a dancer your whole life and now you've kind of like transitioned out of that.
- 44:29SPEAKER_00: And I know that's such a like pervasive thing.
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: A, do you miss doing that?
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: And B, when you stepped out of that, what do you feel like you discovered about like when you were kind of faced with like, okay, well, if I'm not a dancer, then who am I?
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: What do you feel like you discovered in that void?
- 44:49SPEAKER_02: Ooh, I just got like I got chills for some reason.
- 44:52SPEAKER_02: I feel like this is a big question.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: Um, well, I know this is like my Scorpio.
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: I have to like take it to like the deepest.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm gonna cut to the core and ask you like the most like heart-wrenching.
- 45:02SPEAKER_02: No, and I'm like so, I'm always that's only where I go.
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: I only go to the deep.
- 45:08SPEAKER_02: So I'm with you.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: First of all, yes, I do miss it.
- 45:12SPEAKER_02: In fact, it's been actually a huge part of my journey since the pandemic hit, so 2020, of rediscovering dance, but now finally for me, not competitively, not you know, in this environment where we're trying to strive to meet all these expectations, or not for school.
- 45:29SPEAKER_02: Like it's like just actually moving my body and feeling like my most authentic self through that form of expression.
- 45:36SPEAKER_02: So it's been transformational to go back to it now that my body's healed, yeah, and not feel like I'm pushing my body, but I'm just like embracing moving it, you know.
- 45:47SPEAKER_02: What's cool about that too is that the world is also waking up to the powerful and transformative impact of movement, you know, on our mental, emotional, physical well-being.
- 45:58SPEAKER_02: And I think there's a lot of cool things I can just foresee in the future of like combining my newfound, you know, direction and knowledge with all the psychological and kind of mental emotional stuff and movement.
- 46:09SPEAKER_02: Like I think those are gonna get married in some ways, shape, or form.
- 46:12SPEAKER_02: So that excites me.
- 46:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 46:13SPEAKER_02: Though, so to your bigger question of, you know, what did I discover in that void?
- 46:19SPEAKER_02: Like the best way I like to explain it is like rock bottoms, because I think that rock bottom doesn't always have to look like so drastic.
- 46:27SPEAKER_02: It's just it can be us hitting sort of the a low moment in some sort of area.
- 46:31SPEAKER_02: And so during that, I had to look straight in the eye at like you value your worth for all of these things outside of your control and not, you know, actually within you.
- 46:42SPEAKER_02: And I had to stare in the face, like, do you even like who are you?
- 46:46SPEAKER_02: And do you number one know that?
- 46:48SPEAKER_02: And number one, do you do you have that respect and regard for yours yourself no matter what you're doing or accomplishing?
- 46:54SPEAKER_02: And the answer to that, and one of my big things that I'm facing even up until this day is like, I was like, no, you know, like I got affirmation for my physique, for how I looked, for you know, how much I achieved within those areas.
- 47:10SPEAKER_02: And when that kind of was ripped out from underneath me, it was really difficult.
- 47:14SPEAKER_02: And um, I think a lot of women even can relate to that too, of just being so fixated on all the different aspects that we think make up who we are, our weight or our size or our appearance or all those things.
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: So in that void, I discovered wow, your your self-worth and your self-love and your self-res kind of like um regard is built upon like a house of cards.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: So that's why self-discovery holds such a special place in my heart.
- 47:43SPEAKER_02: Because yeah, at that moment though, it was kind of like, okay, so how do you start to rebuild that?
- 47:48SPEAKER_02: Like, where do you even begin with that?
- 47:50SPEAKER_02: And so I I personally think, even though we have all the answers within us, having tools that reflect back to us things where we can feel that body resonance of like, oh, there's something there, or like this makes sense to me for some reason.
- 48:03SPEAKER_02: And you can start to almost take the puzzles and put them all together.
- 48:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that rebuilds your sense of self in a really powerful way.
- 48:11SPEAKER_02: So that's I would say that was sort of my experience with it.
- 48:15SPEAKER_02: And I would just say that, you know, it's a it's a practice that I still work through to this very day because as a very high achiever, overachiever-oriented type of person, I'm, you know, still reckoning with who am I if I'm not achieving something, you know, or creating something.
- 48:30SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, and I I'm glad that you brought this up because I think this is what happens to a lot of people, especially women, but men too, where if you are really good at something, you identify as that thing, right?
- 48:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, I even did it, I know, like with being a school counselor, I felt like I was really good at that.
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: And, you know, even when I when I had my kids, I not like taking that time off, which is funny because like obviously you think you want time off.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: But then when I was forced to have time off and be home with my new babies, I couldn't wait to go back to work because I felt like I didn't know who I was without that.
- 49:13SPEAKER_00: And of course, and I've been on the personal growth journey since I was 19.
- 49:17SPEAKER_00: Like, I literally have done so much work and I'm all about self-discovery.
- 49:22SPEAKER_00: And I've always been that way.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: But like there was something about me not being at that job that like made me feel like, what the fuck am I doing?
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: Like it was just kind of like this feeling of not having a purpose and not having like value or feeling like pointless or something.
- 49:42SPEAKER_00: Um, so I totally relate to that.
- 49:45SPEAKER_00: And I think that a lot of people are kind of faced with that when you are forced to kind of have these transitions as you were, and a lot of people were, you know, in 2020 and moving forward after that, right?
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: It's like, well, wait, who am I really?
- 50:02SPEAKER_00: And like what am I attaching to my own worthiness or my feelings about like who I am, because what we're now discovering as like a collective is like we're a lot more than we thought.
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: And I think now everyone's kind of waking up to this.
- 50:20SPEAKER_00: But the point too is around like the self-worth stuff because that's like everyone comes up against that, right?
- 50:26SPEAKER_00: And and you put it in the context of fear, but it's kind of the same thing around not being good enough or not worthy, or being afraid that you're not good enough or not worthy or whatever.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: And that's kind of been programmed into us.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: So I think like now we're kind of all being forced to face that, right?
- 50:44SPEAKER_00: Like on one level or another, of okay, well, how do I actually feel about myself?
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: And what are all the things I'm doing to like prevent myself from seeing the way I actually feel about myself?
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: So you are kind of forced into that, which is kind of like why I brought that up.
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: But I think a lot of times because there's all this programming from society about like achieving and doing something like outside of you that no one gets this message that you're inherently worthy just for being you.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: And like in people's Akashic Records, I can see that their main purpose is just to hold a certain frequency on the planet, like they don't have to do anything.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: So, like for somebody like that, it could be like feeling bad that they're not like achieving something or doing something when really like they're already fulfilling their purpose.
- 51:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm so glad you said that.
- 51:39SPEAKER_02: And that's such a beautiful message because yeah, that like that is the point, and that's also why I love gene keys because there's a purpose gene key.
- 51:47SPEAKER_02: So all the different you get the different placement of these different numbers, but they also are within spheres that have names.
- 51:53SPEAKER_02: So my purpose gene key is the 20th, and basically, like my purpose is to be literally like it so entrenched in the present moment.
- 52:03SPEAKER_02: Now, that sounds like really like of course obvious, but when you kind of expand upon it, um, it's like the gift of self-assurance, the city of presence.
- 52:12SPEAKER_02: It's to kind of detach from this notion of like my past and my future, which we all can get so right, like wrapped up in the midst of I'm like number one offender, of course.
- 52:24SPEAKER_02: So it's part of my purpose on this planet to rise out of the shadow of superficiality, which means like not being superficial, but just being on the fringes of life because you're not fully entrenched in like right here, right now, where you're at in the process in this moment.
- 52:39SPEAKER_02: And so I think about that all the time because these gene keys, at least I'll speak for that, reflect back what you just said.
- 52:46SPEAKER_02: Like our purposes are actually so simple.
- 52:48SPEAKER_02: I know people want a tool that says your purpose is to like be a leader or to like lead a, you know, I don't know, business.
- 52:55SPEAKER_02: Like that's not it, right?
- 52:56SPEAKER_02: We have vehicles of purpose that we feel purposeful within, but the energetic of the purpose is like what you're carrying with you to whatever vehicle it is at any given time.
- 53:06SPEAKER_02: It could go from being a counselor to being a mother to being a podcast, you know, to disseminating messages via podcasts.
- 53:12SPEAKER_02: Like those are all just vehicles for the frequency that you're here to embody.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 53:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 53:19SPEAKER_00: And I think it's really important for people to remember that because within that, too, then it's like you have this inherent feeling of worthiness, where it's like you don't have to do anything to feel worthy.
- 53:30SPEAKER_00: And it's just like, well, what does worthiness just feel like?
- 53:33SPEAKER_00: You know, like what does that feel like?
- 53:35SPEAKER_00: And to allow yourself to just feel that without needing it to come from any external source.
- 53:42SPEAKER_00: And that's like a total paradigm shift, but like also so necessary to, you know, continue to step forward in the way that you're meant to, and and just to be happy in general, which I know something we all want.
- 53:56SPEAKER_02: Right at the end of the day.
- 53:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 54:01SPEAKER_00: So I know I definitely want to have a gene keys reading, but I'm sure everyone else wants to too.
- 54:06SPEAKER_00: So can you tell people where they can find you?
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: So you can find me, I mean, and every all the information most easily just at my website, Christypapeti.com.
- 54:15SPEAKER_02: Also, my Instagram is Christy Papeti.
- 54:17SPEAKER_02: So I'm dropping information in my stories or on my feed there all the time.
- 54:20SPEAKER_02: Um, so yeah, you can get in touch with me that way and you'll see on my website, uh, there's like a gene keys tab.
- 54:26SPEAKER_02: And so you can find the information to schedule a session or just learn more about the system there.
- 54:31SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: And we'll link all that in the show notes.
- 54:34SPEAKER_00: And then also for the question I like to ask everybody for you what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 54:43SPEAKER_02: So I hate to sound like a broken record, but I feel like it would just be, you know, it just wouldn't be authentic to say anything else.
- 54:51SPEAKER_02: I feel like self-discovery.
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: I think that really dedicating the time to getting to know who you are to also knowing that that's ever changing, right?
- 55:01SPEAKER_02: It's like transient and it's not permanent, but like having that rock solid sense and being able to deconstruct the elements that you might be identifying with that aren't you is like really, I think, the most powerful way to gain the awareness that cracks open new levels of your own consciousness and helps you rise into those higher frequencies, which are associated with fulfillment, joy, peace, the things that we're really all after at the end of the day.
- 55:29SPEAKER_02: So I would say really dedicating some time and some energy toward discovering who you who you are and and who you're not.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 55:38SPEAKER_00: I 100% agree.
- 55:39SPEAKER_00: And it's so funny because like I've been obsessed with self-discovery for like ever, my whole life.
- 55:45SPEAKER_00: So the fact that like people aren't obsessed with it, like I just don't like it, like people must think like I'm crazy because I'm like big transformation, like you're not into that.
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: Like, who doesn't want to have a huge transformation all the time?
- 56:01SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't get it, but obviously, like there's some people who don't.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: And I think also, you know, like because of the fear, like what you were talking about, how everything kind of comes back to fear, because it's not that people necessarily don't want to discover themselves, but people know that that would include having to face certain things, right?
- 56:21SPEAKER_00: That they might not want to face or they might not want to deal with or relive.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: So, like that fear factor, I think, is what kind of stops people from going all in on that self-discovery.
- 56:33SPEAKER_00: But really, there's no way to actually be happy unless you do that.
- 56:38SPEAKER_02: So 100%.
- 56:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's and that's that's the whole prem, like kind of just bringing it home with the gene keys.
- 56:44SPEAKER_02: Like, that's the premise is like it's called a gift because the idea is that it's hidden within your shadows.
- 56:50SPEAKER_02: Like the only way you find that gift is by going through the shadow, is seeing, like, oh, I have a shadow of failure, I have a shadow of half-heartedness, or I have a shadow of force that is playing out in my life.
- 57:02SPEAKER_02: And what what is that trying to show me?
- 57:04SPEAKER_02: Like, right, like the seeds of our transcendence are hidden within the heart of our suffering.
- 57:09SPEAKER_02: And so I love that.
- 57:11SPEAKER_02: When you, yes, you have to face it, but it's like there's literally no other way.
- 57:18SPEAKER_00: No other way.
- 57:19SPEAKER_00: You have to face it.
- 57:20SPEAKER_00: And like, and that's why I try to do my best to make it like fun and easy for people.
- 57:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course it's gonna be uncomfortable, but let's make jokes about it.
- 57:29SPEAKER_00: Like, let's make it light, let's have a party and let's just do it because there's really no other way.
- 57:34SPEAKER_00: Let's just like go through it, you know?
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: So um, I love that so much.
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: And thank you so much for being here.
- 57:41SPEAKER_00: This was amazing, and I can't wait to find out more about my jean keys.
- 57:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, thanks, Elise.
- 57:47SPEAKER_02: I so appreciate it.
- 57:48SPEAKER_02: It's been so fun.
