The Democratic Alliance in Limpopo has told Nghamula Chauke that it welcomes the precautionary suspension of the Limpopo Legislature Secretary, Dr. Timothy Maake following allegations of irregularities including alleged procurement scandal of R12.5 million paid to a law firm with alleged family ties to him. The party is calling on the establishment of an Ad Hoc Committee to probe the allegations of irregularities which occurred during Dr. Maake's tenure.
