- 0:01Speaker 1: So let's jump into the article at ABC News and
- 0:05Speaker 1: see what they have to say about it. This article, abcnews.com, headline,
- 0:11Speaker 1: Court agrees to delay testimony of Jeffrey Epstein confidant Ghislaine
- 0:15Speaker 1: Maxwell in civil suit. They mean co-conspirator, not confidant, by
- 0:19Speaker 1: the way. This article was authored by James Hill. Ghislaine Maxwell,
- 0:25Speaker 1: the former girlfriend and longtime associate and co-conspirator, And fellow
- 0:30Speaker 1: abuser of Jeffrey Epstein has been granted at least a
- 0:33Speaker 1: temporary reprieve from having to respond to questions in a
- 0:37Speaker 1: civil lawsuit that alleges she committed sexual battery against a
- 0:40Speaker 1: teenage girl a federal magistrate judge ruled on Friday. And
- 0:45Speaker 1: once again, they find a way to avoid discovery phase.
- 0:50Speaker 1: It's like a, uh... a skill for these people at
- 0:53Speaker 1: this point. It's one of their work skills. Avoiding discovery phase.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And these judges just let it continue. I want to say,
- 1:02Speaker 1: oh yeah, this is all a plan between the court
- 1:04Speaker 1: system and the prosecutors. But really, have they shown us
- 1:09Speaker 1: anything for us to give them that sort of credit?
- 1:11Speaker 1: For us to believe in them like that? Certainly not me.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I don't believe in them. I don't believe that the
- 1:17Speaker 1: prosecutors in this case are doing their job correctly. That's
- 1:21Speaker 1: my personal opinion, right? And I'll need to see evidence
- 1:26Speaker 1: to think otherwise. Because what we know, what is in
- 1:31Speaker 1: the public, the evidence that is publicly available to us,
- 1:36Speaker 1: it is a home run case here, folks. There is
- 1:42Speaker 1: zero doubt what was going on inside of this criminal organization.
- 1:46Speaker 1: There is zero doubt that Ghislaine Maxwell was a huge
- 1:50Speaker 1: part of it, and I don't know how many times
- 1:53Speaker 1: I have said it, folks, from the very beginning. Ghislaine
- 1:56Speaker 1: Maxwell was the shadow boss, all right? Let's not act
- 2:01Speaker 1: like she was somebody who was sucked into Epstein's web.
- 2:06Speaker 1: This is a woman who grew up around spies, around spycraft,
- 2:10Speaker 1: around people that were very, very calculating. And if you
- 2:16Speaker 1: think that she was, you know, running around like some
- 2:18Speaker 1: puppy dog in love with Jeffrey Epstein, well, you're naive.
- 2:22Speaker 1: She had a leadership role. She was part of all
- 2:25Speaker 1: the decision-making, in my opinion. And furthermore, She was the
- 2:30Speaker 1: brains behind the whole operation. I am convinced of that.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein had some sick proclivities and a little bit
- 2:38Speaker 1: of money, right? That's about it. He wasn't some genius.
- 2:42Speaker 1: He wasn't running around with all these great grand plans.
- 2:45Speaker 1: None of that shit. In the mafia, what they do
- 2:49Speaker 1: is they'll have the street boss, right? The guy that's
- 2:53Speaker 1: the face of the operation out on the street. The
- 2:55Speaker 1: guy that's going to take the heat if shit comes down.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And then they have the real boss who operates in
- 3:01Speaker 1: the shadows. And in my opinion, that's what was going
- 3:04Speaker 1: on with Ghislaine Maxwell. And of course, of course, in
- 3:10Speaker 1: that mix, Wexner as well. The three-headed dragon, folks. Our
- 3:17Speaker 1: very own King Ghidra. Maxwell, who has been accused of
- 3:23Speaker 1: several lawsuits of facilitating or participating in Epstein's abuse of
- 3:27Speaker 1: girls and young women, sought the delay because of an
- 3:30Speaker 1: ongoing federal criminal investigation into Epstein's alleged co-conspirators and because
- 3:35Speaker 1: a victim's compensation fund proposed by Epstein's estate is said
- 3:40Speaker 1: to be nearing final approval. Again, I don't care about
- 3:44Speaker 1: any of that and the court shouldn't care about any
- 3:46Speaker 1: of that either. The most important thing is that we
- 3:49Speaker 1: finally get to discovery against these people and Finally, they're
- 3:52Speaker 1: going to have to answer questions under oath. But no,
- 3:56Speaker 1: the court thinks it's just, it's okay. We're just, you know,
- 3:58Speaker 1: we're going to delay this a little while. We'll give
- 4:00Speaker 1: them more time to screw things up. We'll give them
- 4:02Speaker 1: more time to, you know, contact Dershowitz on the low-low
- 4:06Speaker 1: and figure out a game plan. Because if you don't
- 4:09Speaker 1: think that, look, again, I don't have any evidence of this, right? I,
- 4:12Speaker 1: you know, Dershowitz isn't one of Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers, but I,
- 4:17Speaker 1: do you really think that Maxwell isn't in contact with Dershowitz?
- 4:22Speaker 1: I find it hard to believe that she's not, to
- 4:24Speaker 1: be honest with you. I'm permitting her not to respond
- 4:28Speaker 1: to written questions and not to have her deposition. Magistrate
- 4:32Speaker 1: Judge Deborah Freeman said in her ruling from the bench. Ah,
- 4:36Speaker 1: Deborah Freeman, another one of these rogue dictators. Oh, I'm
- 4:41Speaker 1: a judge, so I'm gonna, you know, I rule the
- 4:44Speaker 1: whole world in this courtroom. All of these judges with
- 4:47Speaker 1: their Pissant rulings that get struck down by higher courts.
- 4:50Speaker 1: How often do we see it? How often do we
- 4:53Speaker 1: see it with these out-of-control judges? Not forever, but at
- 4:57Speaker 1: least long enough to let us know whether the claims
- 5:00Speaker 1: process is likely to go forward. I don't even understand.
- 5:05Speaker 1: What if Annie doesn't care about that claims process and
- 5:08Speaker 1: wants to go to discovery phase? How come it's only
- 5:10Speaker 1: up to Ghislaine Maxwell? How come it's only up to
- 5:13Speaker 1: the defendants? I'm so tired of these people being taken
- 5:19Speaker 1: care of. I'm so tired of these people using every
- 5:23Speaker 1: single loophole in the book that were put on the
- 5:27Speaker 1: books by their friends in Congress. I am so sick
- 5:29Speaker 1: of it, folks. Every single day I wake up to
- 5:32Speaker 1: a new and disgusting story about these people. And I
- 5:38Speaker 1: am just so tired of it. Freeman made her ruling
- 5:43Speaker 1: in a lawsuit filed against Maxwell and Epstein's estate last
- 5:46Speaker 1: November by Annie Farmer. Farmer alleges that she was recruited
- 5:50Speaker 1: and groomed by Epstein and Maxwell in 1996, and that
- 5:54Speaker 1: Maxwell sexually assaulted her at Epstein's New Mexico ranch when
- 5:57Speaker 1: Farmer was 16. But we're gonna delay the discovery phase here, folks,
- 6:03Speaker 1: because there's a criminal trial underway as well. Can we
- 6:07Speaker 1: see some proof of that criminal trial, or do we
- 6:09Speaker 1: just have to believe Judge Deborah Freeman? Sorry, Judge Freeman.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I have no reason to believe you. Just because you're
- 6:16Speaker 1: wearing that robe doesn't make you some sort of, you know,
- 6:21Speaker 1: quality player in this story, a reliable narrator in this story.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't know you. I don't know your work. I
- 6:27Speaker 1: don't know anything about you. So all I do know
- 6:32Speaker 1: is the fact that over and over in this case,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you seem to be ruling with Ghislaine Maxwell and her friends.
- 6:37Speaker 1: And I'm kind of getting sick of it, to be
- 6:39Speaker 1: honest with you. There needs to be a way that
- 6:42Speaker 1: judges are held accountable in this country because I am
- 6:45Speaker 1: so tired of activist judges making rulings from the bench
- 6:49Speaker 1: and not following the law, okay? There's not two sets
- 6:52Speaker 1: of laws here in America, okay? There is one law
- 6:57Speaker 1: and it should be blind and everybody should be given
- 7:01Speaker 1: the same rights under that law. You shouldn't have better
- 7:04Speaker 1: rights if you have more money and access to Dershowitz
- 7:07Speaker 1: or any of that shit, okay? I'm tired of it.
- 7:09Speaker 1: The two-tier justice system must be shattered into five bazillion pieces.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Enough is enough. Annie was extremely distressed and afraid. She
- 7:21Speaker 1: was a child in a massive ranch in New Mexico,
- 7:23Speaker 1: away from her family in Arizona and isolated from any
- 7:27Speaker 1: source of help. She was alone with Epstein and Maxwell,
- 7:30Speaker 1: Farmer's Complaint says. And as I've said numerous times on
- 7:33Speaker 1: the podcast since I've come home from New Mexico, folks,
- 7:36Speaker 1: it is desolate. There is nothing around this place. Even
- 7:40Speaker 1: if Annie wanted to try and get away, she would
- 7:42Speaker 1: have had nowhere to go. Just think about that for
- 7:45Speaker 1: a minute. Think about being a 16-year-old girl in the
- 7:48Speaker 1: middle of the high desert like that. Nothing. No civilization
- 7:52Speaker 1: around you. And being exposed to these two monsters. Think
- 7:56Speaker 1: about the pain and the horror and the PTSD that
- 7:59Speaker 1: comes with it later on. And to think this judge
- 8:02Speaker 1: has the audacity to again kick the can down the
- 8:06Speaker 1: block and make Annie wait for justice a little bit longer?
- 8:12Speaker 1: It makes my blood boil. I am so tired of
- 8:14Speaker 1: this shit in this case. I am so tired of it.
- 8:19Speaker 1: An attorney for Farmer argued against the delay, noting the
- 8:22Speaker 1: uncertainty surrounding the potential length of the criminal investigation. Very, very,
- 8:27Speaker 1: very fair point. You know how criminal investigations are in America.
- 8:30Speaker 1: They can last years. So you mean to tell me
- 8:32Speaker 1: we're going to delay this civil case because we have
- 8:35Speaker 1: a concurrent criminal case going on at the same time? Sorry,
- 8:39Speaker 1: that dog doesn't hunt with me. I don't care. Maxwell
- 8:42Speaker 1: shouldn't have molested Annie. Maxwell should not have assaulted Annie
- 8:45Speaker 1: Farmer and we wouldn't have to worry about any of this.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Here's an idea. Be a human being, Ghislaine Maxwell. Be
- 8:51Speaker 1: a decent human being. I know that's so far out
- 8:53Speaker 1: of the scope for the way you conduct yourself and
- 8:56Speaker 1: for the way your disgusting friends conduct themselves, but why
- 8:59Speaker 1: don't you give it a try for once? We have
- 9:03Speaker 1: no indication of any time frame with respect to how
- 9:06Speaker 1: long that investigation could go on, said Sigrid McCauley, the
- 9:10Speaker 1: attorney for Farmer and four other survivors suing Epstein's estate.
- 9:15Speaker 1: And to not be able to get discovery and ask Ms.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Maxwell questions, that puts us in handcuffs with respects to
- 9:21Speaker 1: being able to establish our claims 100%. Sigrid gets it.
- 9:25Speaker 1: She knows what's going on here. The lawyers in this
- 9:28Speaker 1: case have to have more tact than me because guess what?
- 9:31Speaker 1: I don't give a shit about these judges or this
- 9:34Speaker 1: broke-ass justice system. It needs to be completely destroyed. Okay?
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'll say what the lawyers can't say. This is all
- 9:49Speaker 1: a bunch of bullshit. Maxwell only has herself to blame.
- 9:54Speaker 1: So Annie should be forced to suffer and wait longer.
- 10:00Speaker 1: for discovery in her case because maxwell because of her
- 10:03Speaker 1: own actions is under criminal investigation too yeah sorry i
- 10:08Speaker 1: don't care i don't care have both trials at the
- 10:11Speaker 1: same time get it together I am so sick of
- 10:17Speaker 1: the broken ass justice system, folks. God. Responding to those concerns,
- 10:24Speaker 1: Freeman said she had no desire to have this drag out. Yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 1: then why'd you make the ruling, Judge Freeman? Why'd you
- 10:30Speaker 1: give them more time, Judge Freeman? Were you playing golf
- 10:33Speaker 1: or your husband playing golf with one of her lawyers,
- 10:35Speaker 1: Judge Freeman? I mean, obviously, I don't have any evidence
- 10:39Speaker 1: for that, and I'm just ranting right now, but it
- 10:41Speaker 1: just seems like every single time we turn around, there's
- 10:44Speaker 1: another judge in this case who is making themselves out
- 10:46Speaker 1: to be a complete and utter asshole. and asked to
- 10:51Speaker 1: be updated in mid-June on the status of the investigation
- 10:55Speaker 1: and the victim's claims program. All right, so it looks
- 10:58Speaker 1: like Judge Freeman has delayed this to mid-June, and then
- 11:02Speaker 1: she'll wait for an update. And no doubt, when the
- 11:04Speaker 1: update comes, she'll delay it again, probably, because, you know,
- 11:07Speaker 1: we have so much time, and the people of the
- 11:10Speaker 1: United States love footing these long, drawn-out bills of these jerk,
- 11:15Speaker 1: jackass litigations that we see going on on a regular basis.
- 11:19Speaker 1: We know these people are guilty, okay? There is ample evidence.
- 11:22Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? Why are you letting them
- 11:25Speaker 1: play games? Judge Freeman. Maxwell, 58, has not been seen
- 11:31Speaker 1: in public in several months and her whereabouts are unknown.
- 11:35Speaker 1: She has denied farmers' claims and the allegations that she
- 11:38Speaker 1: facilitated Epstein's alleged crimes. Oh, yeah, well, go ahead. Deny
- 11:42Speaker 1: all you want. Everyone can deny whatever the hell they want,
- 11:45Speaker 1: but let's get you under oath. How about that? How
- 11:47Speaker 1: about we get you under oath there, Ghislaine, and then
- 11:49Speaker 1: you deny something, huh? Easy to deny when you're not
- 11:52Speaker 1: under oath. It's easy to deny when you're hiding in
- 11:55Speaker 1: some hole somewhere. Not so easy to do that when
- 11:59Speaker 1: you're sitting in that chair and you're under oath, is it?
- 12:02Speaker 1: And that, my friends, is exactly why she has avoided
- 12:06Speaker 1: discovery phase for so long. She absolutely denies that she
- 12:12Speaker 1: participated in this or any other sexual abuse or trafficking
- 12:17Speaker 1: or assault, and no court, judge, or jury has ever
- 12:20Speaker 1: determined that she was, wrote Maxwell's attorney, Laura Menninger, in
- 12:24Speaker 1: a letter to the court this week. Yeah, of course not.
- 12:27Speaker 1: You know why? Because the court's been bought and paid
- 12:30Speaker 1: for every time Maxwell's shown up. What do you think,
- 12:32Speaker 1: she was going to get caught up in Jeffrey Epstein's
- 12:35Speaker 1: first arrest, his first case? She was put under the
- 12:37Speaker 1: immunity deal. So please, save that shit, Laura Menninger, defending
- 12:44Speaker 1: this disgusting monster. Nobody's buying your story either here, okay?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Let's get to discovery phase. What are you so scared of,
- 12:51Speaker 1: Laura Menninger? Why don't you put your client up there
- 12:56Speaker 1: on the stand, let her go under oath, and let's
- 12:58Speaker 1: get crackin'. If this is such a travesty and your
- 13:02Speaker 1: client is so innocent, let's get her up on the
- 13:04Speaker 1: stand and let's see what's what. Manager also claimed that
- 13:13Speaker 1: the litigation was taking a financial toll on Maxwell. Nobody cares.
- 13:18Speaker 1: How about the financial toll it's taken on these survivors?
- 13:22Speaker 1: How about the financial toll that the survivors were, they
- 13:25Speaker 1: took on the survivors when they had to pay for
- 13:26Speaker 1: therapy out of their own pocket? Nobody cares about your
- 13:30Speaker 1: bank account, Ghislaine. I hope you end up destitute living
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the street. How about that? Whatever the worst slum
- 13:38Speaker 1: is in the world, that's where I hope you end
- 13:40Speaker 1: up until you're arrested. Your whole entire world should be shattered.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You're a disgusting, despicable excuse for a human being, in
- 13:51Speaker 1: my opinion. Unlike the estate, she is not a multimillionaire
- 13:56Speaker 1: and must self-fund her defense, she wrote. Okay, so what
- 14:00Speaker 1: are you doing defending her still? Let her get a
- 14:01Speaker 1: public defender like the rest of the poor people. If
- 14:05Speaker 1: she's so destitute and she's so poor, let the court
- 14:07Speaker 1: provide her an attorney. Who's paying her legal fees right
- 14:10Speaker 1: now if she's so broke? Why didn't somebody ask the
- 14:16Speaker 1: judge that question? In March, Maxwell filed her own lawsuit
- 14:21Speaker 1: against the late financier, Pedophile's Estate, seeking reimbursement of her
- 14:25Speaker 1: legal fees and personal security costs. She claims that Epstein
- 14:29Speaker 1: had repeatedly made clear and unambiguous promises to always support
- 14:34Speaker 1: her financially, according to her complaint. Oh, okay, since we're just,
- 14:37Speaker 1: you know, throwing shit at the wall now. Jeffrey Epstein,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I know for a fact, he said, he told me
- 14:42Speaker 1: that he was going to give all of his money
- 14:43Speaker 1: to the survivors. How ridiculous is that? Her saying that, oh, well,
- 14:47Speaker 1: he unambiguously said to me, anyone can make that claim.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Anyone can say that. We're just, we're supposed to believe
- 14:53Speaker 1: you because, you know, you have such a track record
- 14:55Speaker 1: of being honest, Ghislaine. Ah, she's so disgusting. I don't
- 15:00Speaker 1: think I've ever, ever researched a more disgusting human being
- 15:05Speaker 1: than Ghislaine Maxwell. Epstein died by suicide, allegedly, in jail
- 15:11Speaker 1: last August, according to the New York City Medical Examiner,
- 15:14Speaker 1: one month after his arrest on child sex trafficking and
- 15:17Speaker 1: conspiracy charges. Epstein pleaded not guilty to the charges. In
- 15:22Speaker 1: court filings in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Farmer has indicated
- 15:25Speaker 1: a willingness to take part in the voluntary claims program
- 15:28Speaker 1: if it moves forward. Nearly 70 other alleged victims have
- 15:32Speaker 1: also expressed an interest in participating in the program, which
- 15:35Speaker 1: could resolve dozens of claims against the estate without litigation. Well,
- 15:42Speaker 1: there has to be stringent guidelines, in my opinion, for
- 15:46Speaker 1: that to occur. And I'll let the lawyers... The lawyers...
- 15:50Speaker 1: hammer that out. They know better for their clients and
- 15:52Speaker 1: their clients know better than I do. But if it
- 15:55Speaker 1: was me and if I was giving advice to somebody
- 15:58Speaker 1: who was working on getting one of these claims, I
- 16:01Speaker 1: would not sign one single thing that would keep me
- 16:06Speaker 1: quiet after receiving those funds. Not a thing. Because guess what?
- 16:09Speaker 1: This is a story that must be told. This can't
- 16:11Speaker 1: be put away and stepped on and erased from history.
- 16:16Speaker 1: These aren't Hillary Clinton's emails. But the program's approval has
- 16:21Speaker 1: been held up for months after Denise George, the Attorney
- 16:24Speaker 1: General for the Virgin Islands, filed criminal liens against Epstein's estate,
- 16:28Speaker 1: effectively freezing all the assets of the $ 634 million estate worldwide.
- 16:35Speaker 1: George has objected to some terms of the restitution plan,
- 16:38Speaker 1: which she argued did not comply with the laws of
- 16:40Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands or fully protect the rights of Epstein's survivors.
- 16:45Speaker 1: And Denise George is a whole other topic we can discuss.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And I've been very clear about how I feel about
- 16:51Speaker 1: the situation in the Virgin Islands. And the Virgin Islands
- 16:54Speaker 1: trying to situate themselves as a claimant for Jeffrey Epstein's
- 16:58Speaker 1: money is abhorrent to me and disgusting and vile. And
- 17:03Speaker 1: if they go that route, then I will have to
- 17:06Speaker 1: just completely and utterly eviscerate Denise George's on a regular basis.
- 17:12Speaker 1: But hopefully, Denise George has backed off of that, and
- 17:15Speaker 1: she's more interested in going after the co-conspirators. If that's
- 17:20Speaker 1: the case, and she shows some courage, and maybe she
- 17:24Speaker 1: drops the Rico charges on these people like I talked about,
- 17:27Speaker 1: then I'll look at her in a different light. But
- 17:29Speaker 1: as of now, I am very skeptical of Denise George still.
- 17:34Speaker 1: In the court hearing Friday, which was conducted by telephone
- 17:37Speaker 1: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a state attorney, Bennett Moskovitz,
- 17:42Speaker 1: said that the major issues have been resolved with the
- 17:44Speaker 1: attorney general and that he expects the program to be
- 17:46Speaker 1: approved within a week. All right, well, I'd like to
- 17:50Speaker 1: see all of the details of that. That would be nice, huh?
- 17:52Speaker 1: How about you guys release what the details are so
- 17:55Speaker 1: that the public and the people following the case can
- 17:57Speaker 1: get an idea? There are a few less contentious matters
- 18:01Speaker 1: to iron out, but it's our firm expectation that by
- 18:04Speaker 1: sometime next week, that resolution in principle will be formalized,
- 18:09Speaker 1: Moskowitz said. In a statement to ABC News Friday, George
- 18:13Speaker 1: concurred that the parties are near agreement upon the terms
- 18:16Speaker 1: of the fund, which she said would be a substantial
- 18:19Speaker 1: improvement from the original proposal from the estate. Well, that's
- 18:23Speaker 1: good news, right? Again, I remain skeptical because I don't
- 18:26Speaker 1: trust the government to do the right thing in any
- 18:29Speaker 1: capacity at this point. So I'll wait till I see
- 18:32Speaker 1: what the proposal is and see those improvements for myself.
- 18:35Speaker 1: But the original blueprint that the estate had laid out
- 18:39Speaker 1: was a non-starter for me. She said she remains opposed, however,
- 18:46Speaker 1: to the estate's requirement that survivors sign broad releases to
- 18:50Speaker 1: protect other individuals who sexually abuse them. The estate has
- 18:54Speaker 1: recently amended the release in effort to address the attorney
- 18:57Speaker 1: general's concerns. That's interesting. Now, I'd like to see what
- 19:01Speaker 1: the amendments are. I'd like to see what the changes
- 19:03Speaker 1: are before I have an opinion one way or the other.
- 19:06Speaker 1: but as it was originally proposed, that was a bunch
- 19:09Speaker 1: of straight up horse shit. And I would have signed
- 19:12Speaker 1: that no matter what, if I was one of these survivors,
- 19:15Speaker 1: to be honest with you, because their story is theirs
- 19:18Speaker 1: to tell. They shouldn't have to sit on it. They
- 19:20Speaker 1: should be able to share it however they want with
- 19:22Speaker 1: whoever they want. And they should be able to put
- 19:25Speaker 1: whoever was involved on blast. In the interest of allowing
- 19:31Speaker 1: the program to move forward, the Attorney General's office has
- 19:34Speaker 1: been working further with the estate counsel and the survivors'
- 19:38Speaker 1: attorneys on an agreement in principle, which is still being drafted,
- 19:41Speaker 1: George said in a statement. So, there's definitely movement there,
- 19:46Speaker 1: and we will stay on top of that and keep
- 19:48Speaker 1: following what happens. in the Virgin Islands as you all
- 19:51Speaker 1: know I've been very interested in how that turns out
- 19:54Speaker 1: so I've been on top of that and I will
- 19:57Speaker 1: remain doing that and I'll keep bringing you updates as
- 19:59Speaker 1: they occur During the court hearing on Friday, Moskovitz also
- 20:04Speaker 1: contended that some of the survivors' attorneys were unnecessarily driving
- 20:07Speaker 1: up the cost of litigation by demanding the estate search
- 20:11Speaker 1: for and turn over documents that aren't relevant to their cases.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Every dollar we're spending in the meantime is money that
- 20:18Speaker 1: will never be available for the program, Moskovitz said, like
- 20:22Speaker 1: he gives a shit. All right, Moskovitz, another one. Another
- 20:25Speaker 1: one of these guys that acts like he's a quality
- 20:28Speaker 1: human being in this, right? Well, I'm just gonna, I'm
- 20:31Speaker 1: here to disperse funds. Yeah, right, sure, buddy. McCauley had
- 20:35Speaker 1: contended in court filings earlier this month that the estate
- 20:38Speaker 1: had failed to produce even a single document in response
- 20:41Speaker 1: to their discovery requests, and she had sought court intervention
- 20:44Speaker 1: to require the estate to search for documents covering the
- 20:47Speaker 1: entire timeframe of Epstein's alleged abuse of young women and girls.
- 20:53Speaker 1: What's wrong with that? Why shouldn't Macaulay have that paperwork
- 20:57Speaker 1: when they're going into discovery phase? She should have that
- 21:04Speaker 1: at her fingertips. She should have that available to her
- 21:06Speaker 1: for her case moving forward. But nah, of course not.
- 21:12Speaker 1: We don't have to turn that stuff over. What we'll do,
- 21:14Speaker 1: now that we're, here's what Ghislaine says, now that we're
- 21:16Speaker 1: at discovery phase and we're about to have to turn
- 21:18Speaker 1: all this stuff over, let's find a way to make
- 21:21Speaker 1: sure that we can kick the can down the road
- 21:22Speaker 1: a little while and we can delay a little bit
- 21:24Speaker 1: longer because I'm not ready for discovery and I'm not
- 21:27Speaker 1: ready to be outed yet. That's basically the way I
- 21:29Speaker 1: see it. The survivors are seeking photographs, video, and audio
- 21:36Speaker 1: recording from Epstein's airplanes and homes, financial records, and communications
- 21:40Speaker 1: with his alleged co-conspirators, employees, and government officials that span
- 21:44Speaker 1: a period of nearly two decades. Why would anyone be
- 21:48Speaker 1: against them having that stuff? What are you trying to
- 21:50Speaker 1: hide there, Moskovitz? In court Friday, McCauley acknowledged the estate
- 21:56Speaker 1: had begun to produce some documents this week relating to
- 21:59Speaker 1: her clients, but argued that other relevant evidence was improperly
- 22:03Speaker 1: being withheld. Our position is that, with respect to our
- 22:07Speaker 1: clients' claims in each of these cases, information relating to
- 22:10Speaker 1: Epstein's abuse of other survivors is highly relevant, McCauley said.
- 22:15Speaker 1: The pattern of how he lured girls and then abused
- 22:17Speaker 1: them is relevant to our clients. Yeah, no shit. Absolutely.
- 22:22Speaker 1: It builds a profile. It shows the way things worked.
- 22:27Speaker 1: As opposed to presenting Annie Farmer's case as just a
- 22:31Speaker 1: standalone case, what it does is it provides context of
- 22:35Speaker 1: just exactly how evil and disgusting Jeffrey Epstein and his
- 22:40Speaker 1: friends were. How in the world can the court not
- 22:44Speaker 1: see this? Attorneys for the estate have countered that the
- 22:49Speaker 1: survivors' demands are disproportionate to the needs of the cases.
- 22:53Speaker 1: If everything related to any allegedly bad thing Mr. Epstein
- 22:56Speaker 1: ever did is relevant to each action, well, then it
- 22:59Speaker 1: could take me six months or a year to finish
- 23:01Speaker 1: looking for every piece of paper at every property Mr.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Epstein owned, Moskovitz said Friday. Well, you better get busy, Mr. Moskovitz.
- 23:09Speaker 1: What does that even mean? Oh, it'll take me six months. Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: so what? Then that's the way it goes. These girls
- 23:14Speaker 1: have been waiting for justice for decades in some cases.
- 23:20Speaker 1: So quit trying to cover for your friends, Mr. Moskovitz.
- 23:23Speaker 1: We know that you don't want to disperse these funds
- 23:25Speaker 1: to these survivors. Quit acting like you're some kind of
- 23:28Speaker 1: genuine guy. You, Khan, Indyk, all of you people involved
- 23:33Speaker 1: in this, you all disgust me. The criminal justice system,
- 23:37Speaker 1: that disgusts me as well. And Judge Freeman, your decision here,
- 23:42Speaker 1: that's disgusting as well. So let's see, folks. Let's see
- 23:48Speaker 1: what goes on here. Let's see what happens. Let's see
- 23:51Speaker 1: in the middle of June what Judge Freeman decides to
- 23:54Speaker 1: do then. But hopefully what this really is telling us,
- 23:59Speaker 1: let's hope that what this tells us is that an
- 24:01Speaker 1: indictment of Ghislaine Maxwell is imminent and that the house
- 24:05Speaker 1: of cards has begun to fall down. If you'd like
