  Speaker 2: couple of verses today. So in verse nineteen, then Jews

  Speaker 2: from Antioch and Iconium came there. So now check this out.

  Speaker 2: You saw the Apostles in these different cities. They had

  Speaker 2: to flee, right, They had to had to flee because
• 7:00
  Speaker 2: of persecution, because these men wanted to basically kill him.

  Speaker 2: They wanted to murder the Apostles. And now we see
• 7:12
  Speaker 2: that these Jews are following them. They came from Antioch

  Speaker 2: and like Conia, and now they're here and having persuaded
• 7:23
  Speaker 2: the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of
• 7:28
  Speaker 2: the city, supposing him to be dead. Now side note
• 7:35
  Speaker 2: here Paul tells us I believe it's in the Book
• 7:38
  Speaker 2: of Corinthians that he visits the Third Heaven, that he
• 7:42
  Speaker 2: has a vision he gives multiple visions, but he said
• 7:47
  Speaker 2: in the body, out of the body, he did not know,
• 7:50
  Speaker 2: but he saw things in heaven that were not lawful
• 7:53
  Speaker 2: to write down in a book, right, And so this

  Speaker 2: incident could possibly be when he was lifted up to

  Speaker 2: the third heaven, because I believe that he actually died

  Speaker 2: and God, you know, his race was it finished, right,

  Speaker 2: so God granted him to come back to life. You know,

  Speaker 2: he was resurrected. Now, you could go further in that.

  Speaker 2: This is just my belief and my opinion on that.

  Speaker 2: There's no scripture to really back that up. But I

  Speaker 2: don't know. That's the direction I kind of leaned towards.

  Speaker 2: And so I just I'm counted amazing that these haters, right,

  Speaker 2: these Jews followed him from these other cities and they
• 8:46
  Speaker 2: finally catch up to him, and it's very crowd that

  Speaker 2: wanted to worship them turn on them, and they actually

  Speaker 2: get him, like they actually think he's dead at least
• 8:57
  Speaker 2: they thought they got him.

  Speaker 3: Right now, the same people who once tried to worship

  Speaker 3: him easily persuaded to attack.

  Speaker 2: line between love and hate. How are you gonna call

  Speaker 2: a sudden, you're quick to be convinced to kill them

  Speaker 2: and attack them. Public opinion is very unstable if we

  Speaker 2: don't learn anything else right, when it's not grounded in truth.

  Speaker 2: It was a quick decision to turn this situation to hostility.

  Speaker 2: When it's emotion and that conviction that drives your belief,

  Speaker 2: their belief should not be emotional, only their belief should

  Speaker 2: started the Christian club Club His Las Vegas off Patrick

  Speaker 2: Lean and Annie Oakley, not far from the Las Vegas Strip. Oh,

  Speaker 2: people were loving and people were coming from all over

  Speaker 2: the city. People were coming from out of town to
• 10:26
  Speaker 2: be a part of it. And I even had people
• 10:28
  Speaker 2: message me how much they loved me and how much
• 10:30
  Speaker 2: they appreciate me. I had one brother, Now, this brother
• 10:35
  Speaker 2: was pretty big. He was a buff right, and he
• 10:38
  Speaker 2: used to do our music videos for us. There's another
• 10:44
  Speaker 2: known Christian hip hop minister in the community. The people
• 10:51
  Speaker 2: knew him to be, you know, a bit of a rude,
• 10:54
  Speaker 2: you know, kind of a jerk or whatever. He would make,
• 10:57
  Speaker 2: you know, sly comments about people's music, stuff like that,
• 11:01
  Speaker 2: and you know, very critical. You know, people would be people, right,
• 11:05
  Speaker 2: but they would come to the club. And so our brother,
• 11:11
  Speaker 2: you know, the big, the buff dude kind of encountered
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: the other minister, right, and it was going to escalate
• 11:22
  Speaker 2: it like he wanted to hind him in the face.
• 11:24
  Speaker 2: I don't know what was said. I don't know what
• 11:26
  Speaker 2: was done, but he stopped. He restrained himself, He controlled himself,
• 11:34
  Speaker 2: and he said it. He came to me after this situation,
• 11:37
  Speaker 2: he said, because of my love for you, Like he
• 11:40
  Speaker 2: didn't want to put that on club his hot you know,
• 11:42
  Speaker 2: he didn't want to you know, blow my witness. You know,
• 11:45
  Speaker 2: he didn't want Club his hout to have that type
• 11:47
  Speaker 2: of outlook. And so, I mean the love was so
• 11:52
  Speaker 2: strong to where people would restrain themselves from fighting in
• 11:56
  Speaker 2: the ministry, right. And then as time goes on, the
• 12:02
  Speaker 2: support started to dwindle. And then I noticed attitudes started
• 12:08
  Speaker 2: to change and people started to criticize and you know,
• 12:12
  Speaker 2: opposed and actually started to hate on the ministry to
• 12:16
  Speaker 2: where they wanted to stop people from coming. And like
• 12:22
  Speaker 2: I said, you know this is just my very first experience. Now,
• 12:25
  Speaker 2: at that point, there was no sin. I didn't steal
• 12:27
  Speaker 2: nobody's money. I didn't, you know, slander nobody. I didn't
• 12:31
  Speaker 2: steal nobody's wife or nothing like. What was the cause
• 12:35
  Speaker 2: for this change. I believe that it comes with the
• 12:38
  Speaker 2: territory spiritual warfare. And I wouldn't say this as a
• 12:44
  Speaker 2: disclosure if I offended anyone. You know, my door was open,
• 12:50
  Speaker 2: my office door is open to come and talk. I'm
• 12:52
  Speaker 2: a humble person. I can repent, you know. I want
• 12:56
  Speaker 2: unity in the body. You know, I wanted to move
• 13:00
  Speaker 2: God to continue. But even my immaturity, you know, I

  Speaker 2: should have went to the people. But you know, I

  Speaker 2: didn't really know what was going on because no one

  Speaker 2: was really saying anything to me. And so in the

  Speaker 2: last few years we had the venue, it was basically

  Speaker 2: empty chairs. People were still coming to minister, you know.

  Speaker 2: And that's just how quick public opinion can be. Now,

  Speaker 2: my only question is how many people could have gotten
• 13:32
  Speaker 2: saved if they would have just stayed faithful, if they
• 13:35
  Speaker 2: would have were grounded in the truth that this is
• 13:38
  Speaker 2: for Jesus, this is for the Kingdom. This wasn't for popularity.
• 13:42
  Speaker 2: This wasn't for music careers, you know what I mean.
• 13:46
  Speaker 2: This was to reach lost souls. If we would have
• 13:49
  Speaker 2: all had that same heart. We're doing this out of
• 13:53
  Speaker 2: the love for the Lord and love for people, and

  Speaker 2: I prayed that when we reopened lunch, that will be
• 14:02
  Speaker 2: the heart and the vision. Amen. Now I'm gonna pause

  Speaker 2: here for a second. Days earlier they were preparing sacrifices
• 14:14
  Speaker 2: for Paul. Now they're throwing stones at them. What change influence?
• 14:23
  Speaker 2: They were persuaded or persuasion. It was like a mob mentality,

  Speaker 2: be careful of people who are trying to persuade you
• 14:34
  Speaker 2: to a certain viewpoint. Because I believe exactly that's what
• 14:39
  Speaker 2: happened to the people come to cluse his hot. They
• 14:41
  Speaker 2: were persuaded in the community somehow. Now this reveals something important.

  Speaker 2: If people praise you for the wrong reasons, they can
• 14:52
  Speaker 2: turn on you for the wrong reasons as well. Let
• 14:55
  Speaker 2: me say that again. If people are praising you and
• 14:59
  Speaker 2: your ministry for the wrong reasons, they can turn on
• 15:04
  Speaker 2: you just that quick for the wrong reasons. As I said,

  Speaker 2: no one came to talk to me, No one came

  Speaker 2: to find out the truth, you know, And Paul went
• 15:16
  Speaker 2: from almost being worshiped to being left for dead. Now,
• 15:24
  Speaker 2: this is real persecution, real pain, and real suffering. And
• 15:31
  Speaker 2: noticed he didn't defend himself violently. He did not retaliate.

  Speaker 2: He didn't get the disciples together and be like, you
• 15:41
  Speaker 2: know what, let's go get some rocks and let's throw
• 15:43
  Speaker 2: rocks back at this crowd.

  Speaker 3: He didn't do all that.
• 15:48
  Speaker 2: He just endured and beloved. That's the path that I
• 15:55
  Speaker 2: chose to take. Maybe not as perfectly or as all

  Speaker 2: this as our apostle did, but I'm just enduring right
• 16:04
  Speaker 2: now because I know what God spoke to me. I
• 16:06
  Speaker 2: know I'm called to do this, and I know that
• 16:10
  Speaker 2: we are called to reach people for the Lord. Amen,

  Speaker 2: and I can't wait for the comeback. Hallelujah. Now let's

  Speaker 2: get some spiritual insight on this situation. The crowd was emotional.

  Speaker 2: The emotions can be easily manipulated. The Word of God

  Speaker 2: says to be led by the spirit and not by
• 16:36
  Speaker 2: our emotions. And this is something that we got a master, Beloved.

  Speaker 2: I don't have this down myself. Sometimes I let my

  Speaker 2: emotions get the best of me. But when we do,

  Speaker 2: we regret it. Right. Emotional faith collapse under pressure beloved,

  Speaker 2: don't let your faith it just be emotional, but rooted
• 16:59
  Speaker 2: faith endures persecution if you truly believe. Like these many

  Speaker 2: Verse twenty. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he

  Speaker 2: touched him. This was a miracle of God. This guy

  Speaker 2: was just this man was just stoned and left for dead.

  Speaker 2: And he gets right back up. And if Paul he

  Speaker 2: didn't quit, you know, people must have been shocked. They're

  Speaker 2: surprised when they saw him walking around.

  Speaker 2: He went right back into the city and the mission continued.

  Speaker 2: Persecution did not end his calling at all. If anything else,

  Speaker 2: that made him stronger. Now let's break this down. They

  Speaker 2: thought he was dead. Then the disciples gathered around him.

  Speaker 2: Now there is a support system who gathers around you
• 19:26
  Speaker 2: when you're down. I need to note those people. Those

  Speaker 2: people are real. I believe those people were planted by
• 19:33
  Speaker 2: the Lord. When you're down, when people think you're dead,

  Speaker 2: they come around and rally around you.

  Speaker 2: And what does Paul do? He gets back up? He retreats. No,

  Speaker 2: he doesn't retreat. Does he resign? No? Does he say

  Speaker 2: it's time for me to retire? Not at all. He

  Speaker 2: gets up, halloluga, that's sink into your spirit. He gets

  Speaker 2: back up. The verse comes to mind that the righteous

  Speaker 2: may fall seven times, but the Lord will pick them

  Speaker 2: if your identity is rooted in Christ, you can survive
