- 0:11Speaker 2: done an incredible job with FIFA. Congratulations of the job.
- 0:16Speaker 2: He's setting records for the World Cup. We'll talk about it,
- 0:20Speaker 2: but setting records and ticket sales for the World Cup.
- 0:25Speaker 2: And we love having you back at the White House,
- 0:28Speaker 2: Johnny and everybody.
- 0:30Speaker 1: That's what the years have done fantastically.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I also want to thank Vice President jd Vance, JD
- 0:36Speaker 2: wherever you may be.
- 0:38Speaker 3: J J.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Well, he's coming right over. Marco Rubio was doing.
- 0:44Speaker 2: A fantastic job, and Secretary Christino was doing a fantastic
- 0:49Speaker 2: job as well as Representative Darrenlhood.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Thank you all very much out there.
- 0:54Speaker 2: This past summer of the United States hosted the twenty
- 0:57Speaker 2: twenty five FIFA Cup World Club World Cup and it
- 1:02Speaker 2: was great.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I actually went to a match and it was amazing.
- 1:06Speaker 2: It was a big success to it was sort of
- 1:08Speaker 2: like a preview of what's to come, and now we're
- 1:13Speaker 2: getting ready for an even bigger event next year as
- 1:16Speaker 2: we host the official twenty twenty six feefat World Cup.
- 1:19Speaker 2: That's the big one, the World Cup tournament. This will
- 1:23Speaker 2: be a once in a lifetime opportunity and even for
- 1:25Speaker 2: our country because frankly, you know this goes to countries.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Everybody wants it. I guess it's going all over the world.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Do you know who's getting it the next time around?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Who's getting it?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Has that been selected?
- 1:41Speaker 4: The next one will be Morocco, Spain and Portugal. That's good,
- 1:46Speaker 4: with three matches at the beginning in South America, Argentina,
- 1:49Speaker 4: you went by the way, and the one after will
- 1:51Speaker 4: be Saudi Arabia.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Wow, that's great. Wow, that's great.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Well, we have the king coming, Crown Prince is coming tomorrow.
- 1:59Speaker 2: This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to
- 2:01Speaker 2: showcase the greatness of American world class athletic competition as
- 2:06Speaker 2: we celebrate our nations two hundred and fiftieth year. The
- 2:10Speaker 2: World Cup will also be an incredibly significant economic opportunity
- 2:14Speaker 2: for capitalist American workers and businesses. It's expected to drive
- 2:19Speaker 2: more than thirty billion dollars. Johnny, I don't.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Know about that.
- 2:23Speaker 2: That sounds like a lot of money. Are you sure?
- 2:27Speaker 1: How much does the country get out of that?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Pet like a percentage of the.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Gross or anything.
- 2:35Speaker 2: That's one degociation, and it's going to create nearly two
- 2:39Speaker 2: hundred thousand jobs for America. Since the creation of the
- 2:43Speaker 2: White House speak A task Force earlier this year, Secretary
- 2:47Speaker 2: of Rubio's team at the State Department has worked tirelessly
- 2:50Speaker 2: with the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that soccer
- 2:54Speaker 2: fans from all around the world are properly vetted and
- 2:58Speaker 2: able to come to the United States next summer easily.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Before I took off, as it would.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Often take a year to get a travel visa, but
- 3:06Speaker 2: because of the administration's hard work, now in more than
- 3:10Speaker 2: eighty percent of the world think of that the way
- 3:13Speaker 2: time for a visa is sixty days or less. For
- 3:16Speaker 2: those who intend to join us for the World Cup,
- 3:19Speaker 2: I strongly encourage you to apply right away. And I
- 3:23Speaker 2: want to thank FIFA Task Force and Secretary Rubio for
- 3:27Speaker 2: the great job. Market is doing a fantastic job in
- 3:29Speaker 2: many ways to do so I want to just thank you
- 3:32Speaker 2: all for a great job.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Marker, You're doing a great job.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Beyond even this, we're also creating what we're calling the
- 3:38Speaker 2: FIFA Prioritized Appointment Scheduling system. That's a hard one for
- 3:43Speaker 2: most people to remember, but it's there nevertheless, and this
- 3:47Speaker 2: will allow World Cup ticket holders with long wait times
- 3:51Speaker 2: to opt with FIFA four to a prioritized interview. And
- 3:56Speaker 2: I've directed my administration to do everything then the power
- 4:00Speaker 2: to make the twenty twenty six World Cup and unprecedented success.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I think it's going to be the greatest.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And we are setting records on ticket sales nobody's ever
- 4:13Speaker 2: really and fiefas never you know, if you look at
- 4:17Speaker 2: the numbers, nobody's.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Never seen anything like the kind of numbers we're doing.
- 4:21Speaker 2: The early ticket sales through the roof, and much of
- 4:24Speaker 2: it has even sold out. So congratulations Johnny, and I'd
- 4:28Speaker 2: like to ask Johnny to say a few words. He's
- 4:30Speaker 2: really done an incredible job. He's got unbelievable spirit and
- 4:33Speaker 2: personality and.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Talent and intelligence.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I always like to say, because it's all a part
- 4:39Speaker 2: of it, but the job you've done is based on
- 4:42Speaker 2: what's happening unprecedented.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Thank you, Johnny, Thank you, Thank you President, Thank you
- 4:48Speaker 4: very much. I would like to start really by thanking you,
- 4:51Speaker 4: as the president, Secretary Rubio, Secretary Norman Andrew, your.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Entire team for.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Approving and making this very important announcement today. The FIFA
- 5:07Speaker 4: pass is being announced. Prioritized, prioritized appointment, a scheduling system.
- 5:16Speaker 3: That's the way people will remember it.
- 5:18Speaker 4: So if you have a ticket for the World Cup,
- 5:21Speaker 4: you can have a prioritized appointment to get your visa.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Because we said it the very first time we met,
- 5:28Speaker 4: mister President, America welcomes the world.
- 5:31Speaker 3: America will welcome the world here.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Next year, we will have between six and seven million
- 5:39Speaker 4: tickets sold for the matches, will have between five and
- 5:43Speaker 4: ten million people coming to America from all over the
- 5:47Speaker 4: world to enjoy the World Cup. And with this FIFA Pass,
- 5:52Speaker 4: we can make sure that those who buy a ticket
- 5:56Speaker 4: that are legitimate football fans or soccer fans, they can
- 6:00Speaker 4: come and attend the World Cup in the best conditions,
- 6:04Speaker 4: starting from getting their visa and then coming of course
- 6:09Speaker 4: in the country to enjoy. You mentioned the acromic impact,
- 6:12Speaker 4: the thirty billion, two hundred thousand jobs, and this is
- 6:15Speaker 4: just for the World Cup and we will build on
- 6:17Speaker 4: that to make soccer even greater.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Here.
- 6:21Speaker 4: You are the number one country in the world. The
- 6:25Speaker 4: United States of America is the president. You have to
- 6:28Speaker 4: be the number one country as well. In the number
- 6:31Speaker 4: one sport in the world. So we have to work
- 6:35Speaker 4: for that and we will do that, and the World
- 6:38Speaker 4: Cup will be very, very significant in respect. So big,
- 6:41Speaker 4: big thank you to you, to the White House Task Force,
- 6:45Speaker 4: to everyone involved, and we are.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Celebrating the next year.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Not just the two hundred and fifty years, but also
- 6:54Speaker 4: the greatest and most inclusive World Cup ever. We will
- 6:58Speaker 4: have six billion people watching. We have the draw coming
- 7:01Speaker 4: up on the fifth of December here at the Kennedy
- 7:05Speaker 4: Center in Washington. You see one billion people watching the
- 7:09Speaker 4: draw to find out who plays whom and where. We
- 7:12Speaker 4: have thirty two teams already qualified. Before or by tomorrow night,
- 7:17Speaker 4: we'll have forty two out of forty eight qualified, so
- 7:20Speaker 4: a quarter of the world will will be here and
- 7:24Speaker 4: we're looking very.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Much for us.
- 7:25Speaker 4: So thanks, thanks for the support, thanks for the great
- 7:29Speaker 4: work and always happy to be here at home.
- 7:34Speaker 2: We are.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We are a beautiful trophy right there.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and a big part of it too, Marco, would
- 7:41Speaker 2: you say if you works.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you mister President first of all forgetting the games,
- 7:44Speaker 5: because this happened in your first term when the Cup
- 7:47Speaker 5: came here, and it's a major undertaking. So we've deployed
- 7:50Speaker 5: over four hundred additional consular officers around the world to
- 7:54Speaker 5: deal with that, in some cases doubling the size of
- 7:56Speaker 5: the consular presence and our embassies in certain countries. And
- 7:59Speaker 5: the news now is about eighty percent of the world,
- 8:02Speaker 5: you can get an appointment within sixty days. It used
- 8:04Speaker 5: to take you know, half a year longer, and now
- 8:06Speaker 5: sometimes it took you know. Now you can get in
- 8:08Speaker 5: less than two months, or in places it took over
- 8:10Speaker 5: a year. In places, for example, like Brazil and Argentina,
- 8:14Speaker 5: you'd have to took over a year to get an appointment.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Now you can get in less than in two months.
- 8:17Speaker 5: So our advice to everybody is, if you have a
- 8:19Speaker 5: ticket for any of the games, you need to apply.
- 8:22Speaker 5: If you haven't done so as soon as possible. Don't
- 8:24Speaker 5: wait till the last minute. Your ticket is not a visa,
- 8:26Speaker 5: doesn't guarantee admission to the US. It guarantees you an
- 8:29Speaker 5: expedited appointment. You're still gonna go through the same vetting.
- 8:32Speaker 5: We're gonna do the same vetting as anybody else would get.
- 8:34Speaker 5: The only difference here is we're moving them up in
- 8:37Speaker 5: the queue. We're moving them up faster. But my advice
- 8:40Speaker 5: to everyone that's watching around the world is if you
- 8:42Speaker 5: intend to come to the Games, you have to have
- 8:44Speaker 5: a ticket. You need to apply. Apply as soon as possible.
- 8:46Speaker 5: You're gonna get your interview within you know, six to
- 8:49Speaker 5: eight weeks, and.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Move forward from there. Don't wait till the last minute
- 8:53Speaker 3: to do it. Thank you.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It's a congressman would would like to say that.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Well, first of all, mister President, none of this would
- 8:59Speaker 6: have happen. And without your leadership securing this during your
- 9:02Speaker 6: first term. I tell my colleagues all the time, this
- 9:04Speaker 6: will be the largest sporting event in the history of
- 9:06Speaker 6: the world. We expand from thirty two to forty eight
- 9:08Speaker 6: teams for the first time ever. We're doing it with
- 9:10Speaker 6: Mexico and Canada. But obviously the eleven host cities will
- 9:14Speaker 6: be here in the United States, and it's going to
- 9:15Speaker 6: have a thirty billion dollar impact economically in this country.
- 9:19Speaker 3: And so it has been a team effort by everybody.
- 9:22Speaker 6: But I also want to thank President Infantino and obviously you,
- 9:25Speaker 6: mister President, and your entire team, Andrew and Nick and everybody.
- 9:28Speaker 6: It is going to be an unbelievable sporting event next summer.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It's going to be great. God be great, Andrew, and
- 9:34Speaker 2: you're like quesdays something. Sure, I think we have somebody.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Much more important. Yeah, there's much more important.
- 9:40Speaker 7: And honestly, without her work, without Secretary of State Rubio's
- 9:43Speaker 7: work in the State Department, this would not happen. And
- 9:45Speaker 7: without your leadership and your vision, this would not have happened.
- 9:48Speaker 7: I think two key points. One Secretary of State already
- 9:52Speaker 7: highlighted this is a welcoming message to the world without
- 9:55Speaker 7: going around the safety and security procedures. It's so key
- 9:58Speaker 7: to make sure this World Cup is safe and secure,
- 10:01Speaker 7: and the White House Task Force is working every day
- 10:03Speaker 7: to make sure that's the case. And also, as Congress
- 10:06Speaker 7: Minlhood said, the economic benefits for American businesses both small
- 10:11Speaker 7: and large from a.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Thirty billion dollar event like this.
- 10:14Speaker 7: So really thanks to all the White House Task Force members,
- 10:17Speaker 7: from Secretary of Ruvio to Secretary Known to Notice, the
- 10:20Speaker 7: funding opportunities that went out to the cities and states
- 10:23Speaker 7: last months were really key, from the safety and security perspective,
- 10:27Speaker 7: to Deputy Chief of Staff Luna, who is integral in
- 10:30Speaker 7: this whole process, to the White House Task Force members
- 10:33Speaker 7: that are standing in the back of the room today
- 10:35Speaker 7: and that couldn't be here. Without your hard work, this
- 10:38Speaker 7: would not have happened. And I really can't thank you
- 10:40Speaker 7: enough for really the best team I've ever been a
- 10:43Speaker 7: part of. And also the FIFA, to the President, Johnny
- 10:46Speaker 7: and Fantino, my good friend Carlos Cordierro, your desire to
- 10:50Speaker 7: make this World Cup the best yet it's contagious.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Every single day I come.
- 10:54Speaker 7: In and think what can we do to make this
- 10:57Speaker 7: even better? And mister President, your vision anything. I think
- 11:01Speaker 7: it takes a unique visionary to be able to go
- 11:04Speaker 7: and see a sporting event and realize that this can
- 11:07Speaker 7: be one of the greatest cultural events in world history.
- 11:10Speaker 7: And I think there are very few people aside from
- 11:13Speaker 7: the forty fifth and forty seventh President of the United States,
- 11:15Speaker 7: Conald J.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Trump, that can do that undertaking.
- 11:17Speaker 2: So thank you, thank you very much.
- 11:19Speaker 8: Christy, mister President, thank you for Andrew. Thank you for
- 11:22Speaker 8: making him the head of our FIFA task force.
- 11:24Speaker 3: He's fantastic. And Nick has.
- 11:26Speaker 8: Been a rock star and facilitating all of our meetings,
- 11:29Speaker 8: getting everybody together and making sure that we're prepared to
- 11:32Speaker 8: host this event. And it's going to be the world's
- 11:36Speaker 8: largest sporting event ever. Hosted, and it's happening under your leadership.
- 11:40Speaker 8: So every department has been working, but the Department of
- 11:43Speaker 8: Homeland Security is working on making sure people can travel
- 11:46Speaker 8: here safely, they know that they're welcome to the United States.
- 11:49Speaker 8: That each of these events will be cooperative events with
- 11:53Speaker 8: our cities to make sure that security needs are meant.
- 11:55Speaker 8: We put out over six hundred million dollars worth of
- 11:58Speaker 8: grants to the eleven host city that they'll have the
- 12:00Speaker 8: advantage to partner on technologies and screening technologies. Drone technology,
- 12:06Speaker 8: counter uas as well will be implemented, so we'll be
- 12:10Speaker 8: prepared to host it safely, but also with Marco's leadership
- 12:13Speaker 8: at the State Department, making sure that people that come
- 12:16Speaker 8: in on these tourist visas are coming in thoroughly vetted,
- 12:19Speaker 8: just like anyone who would travel here and they would
- 12:22Speaker 8: come and enjoy our country and then they would go
- 12:24Speaker 8: home and go home in a timely manner. So we're
- 12:26Speaker 8: excited about that, and we're excited to partner with you,
- 12:29Speaker 8: mister President, on creating memories for people around the world
- 12:32Speaker 8: that will make them not just fall in love with
- 12:34Speaker 8: the United States, but also fall in love with the
- 12:36Speaker 8: sports soccer.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Thank you. How many games are there?
- 12:40Speaker 3: Total?
- 12:41Speaker 4: One d and four games, meaning one hundred and four
- 12:44Speaker 4: Super Bowls in one months.
- 12:47Speaker 3: This is the magnitude think it is.
- 12:50Speaker 2: It's incredible, the biggest sporting event we've ever had. It's
- 12:54Speaker 2: like having one hundred more even if you got it
- 12:57Speaker 2: in fifty sixty super Bowls. Right, that's okay to.
- 13:02Speaker 9: President, can just take us through this FIFA pass idea
- 13:06Speaker 9: that you guys are talking about here, How exactly is
- 13:08Speaker 9: it going to work for ticket holders to this big event?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Offerre nons it the toasting.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I do that because they can do it much better.
- 13:14Speaker 2: And I don't want to be too yet would you
- 13:16Speaker 2: like to talk about Sure?
- 13:17Speaker 10: Well, mister President, without your leadership, this would not happen,
- 13:20Speaker 10: and we came in ten months.
- 13:22Speaker 4: We have a system that's going to welcome the world.
- 13:23Speaker 10: The greatest host in the history of the world is
- 13:25Speaker 10: going to host the world here. Basically, this system allows
- 13:28Speaker 10: folks with a FIFA ticket purchased through FIFA to go
- 13:31Speaker 10: through the FIFA portal that is done going to get
- 13:34Speaker 10: prioritized with the State Department so that those appointments are
- 13:37Speaker 10: going to be had before existing appointments, so that people
- 13:40Speaker 10: when they buy tickets, they have confidence that they're going
- 13:43Speaker 10: to be able to come to the games and spend
- 13:45Speaker 10: their money and travel this country and do.
- 13:46Speaker 2: All the things that they want to do and enjoy
- 13:48Speaker 2: the game.
- 13:48Speaker 10: So it's an incredible vision that the President executed here
- 13:51Speaker 10: within ten months. We started with really not that much
- 13:54Speaker 10: and so this whole team here with the President's guide
- 13:56Speaker 10: that says made this possible.
- 13:58Speaker 3: It's gonna be the greatest games in the history of
- 13:59Speaker 3: the world.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Okay, do you have that? Yeah, Daniel Place.
- 14:06Speaker 8: Daniel, mister President, you're talking about the economic impact.
- 14:10Speaker 2: It's billions and billions of dollars.
- 14:12Speaker 10: This builds on the framework and the groundwork that you've
- 14:15Speaker 10: built already up.
- 14:16Speaker 3: For a major year in twenty twenty six.
- 14:18Speaker 10: Deregulation, energy independence, tax cuts, historics, amounts of private sector investments.
- 14:24Speaker 3: What do you envision for the twenty twenty six economy
- 14:27Speaker 3: when this event comes to town next year two? On
- 14:30Speaker 3: top of everything else.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just a huge economic boon to this.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You know, we had a little shutdown that was caused
- 14:37Speaker 2: by the Democrats and this will make up many times over.
- 14:41Speaker 2: So that's good. But I think it's the importance of
- 14:44Speaker 2: the event all over the world. The world is watching,
- 14:46Speaker 2: and it really is. It's like having you know, many
- 14:48Speaker 2: super Bowls. Actually each game is almost a super Bowl.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Some of them are. I guess you could say bigger
- 14:54Speaker 2: than super Bowls. I guess when you get to the finals,
- 14:57Speaker 2: it's of that. It's of that level, worldwidest.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be more. So that's great.
- 15:04Speaker 2: You know, when Johnny and I made the deal, I'd
- 15:06Speaker 2: never thought I was going to be president because I
- 15:08Speaker 2: was supposed to be retired by that time, and we
- 15:13Speaker 2: got a little lucky. So I'm very honored to have it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: And we have the Olympics coming to that'll be great.
- 15:20Speaker 2: And the two fifty two fifty is going to be
- 15:22Speaker 2: right out on the loans. You're gonna have a UFC
- 15:24Speaker 2: event with Data White.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And there's people.
- 15:26Speaker 2: He's gonna have the greatest card they've ever assembled. I
- 15:30Speaker 2: was talking to Data White the other day, and they're
- 15:32Speaker 2: going to have the greatest card they've ever assembled.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Johnny. So you'll be sitting up there.
- 15:36Speaker 2: With me there. We'll be watching it right opposite the
- 15:40Speaker 2: front door of the White House. That's gonna be on
- 15:42Speaker 2: June fourteenth, So it's really going to be an amazing
- 15:46Speaker 2: period of time. But this is something very very special
- 15:49Speaker 2: World Cup. All my life, I've heard about it.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Yes, I question about it as well, But can I
- 15:53Speaker 7: just first ask that held the presidents always do as
- 15:55Speaker 7: your voice says, little rough, it's.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Billing, are right?
- 15:57Speaker 2: I feel great. I was shouting at people because they
- 16:01Speaker 2: were stupid about something having to do with trade in
- 16:06Speaker 2: the country, and I straightened it out. But I blew
- 16:10Speaker 2: my stack at the well.
- 16:12Speaker 3: It sounds like there's a follow about Venezuela. You suggest
- 16:16Speaker 3: there was sounds follow the Venezuela.
- 16:19Speaker 2: You said there was a pollop and I said, but
- 16:23Speaker 2: I don't want to hear that. You suggested you've made
- 16:27Speaker 2: a decision what all we'd want to do next to vezuel.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I understand you don't want to take your hand. Was
- 16:30Speaker 3: there anything you're writing to rule out at this point
- 16:33Speaker 3: or ruling out US troops on the ground that I.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Don't rule out anything.
- 16:37Speaker 1: We just have to take care of Venezuela.
- 16:39Speaker 2: They dumped hundreds of thousands of people into our country
- 16:43Speaker 2: from prisons. Nobody knows better than this young lady right here.
- 16:47Speaker 2: She's done an incredible job with Tom Holman and all
- 16:49Speaker 2: of your people.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 16:52Speaker 2: You know, we have a tight border right there, nobody
- 16:54Speaker 2: comes in, but we had millions of people pouring through
- 16:57Speaker 2: A year ago, we had millions of people pouring throughout border,
- 17:00Speaker 2: and many of them came from Venezuela, including Trende Uruguay,
- 17:04Speaker 2: the gang.
- 17:05Speaker 1: And I guess what I'm hearing, Christie is that's the
- 17:07Speaker 1: sped A gang.
- 17:08Speaker 2: As there is. They were the worst.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Absolutely, they are the worst.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I mean, they're worse than Emistet.
- 17:13Speaker 3: The killers.
- 17:14Speaker 8: They massacre people, they cut them up into pieces, and
- 17:16Speaker 8: they bury them in their communities where they grew up.
- 17:19Speaker 2: They're horrible people, and we had a lot of them,
- 17:21Speaker 2: and many of them, most of them pretty soon, most
- 17:24Speaker 2: of them are going to be out, but they sent
- 17:27Speaker 2: them like we're dumping ground. So I'm not in love
- 17:31Speaker 2: with the people running Ventersu. I love Venezuela. I love
- 17:34Speaker 2: the people of Venezuela, but what they've done to this country,
- 17:37Speaker 2: and I really say this, what Biden and the Democrats
- 17:40Speaker 2: have done to this country can never ever be forgotten.
- 17:43Speaker 3: You said just that Madureau wants to talk. Are you
- 17:46Speaker 3: prepared to speak with him directly? Would you commit to
- 17:48Speaker 3: doing that for you wor Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I probably would talk to him, you know, I talked
- 17:52Speaker 2: to everybody.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Interview. You had made some remarks about H one visas.
- 18:02Speaker 4: You said about H one visas.
- 18:04Speaker 7: You said that there were certain talents that Americans needed
- 18:07Speaker 7: to outsource to foreign workers.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Could you clarify it until they learned that. Yeah, Like,
- 18:11Speaker 2: for instance, if you're gonna be making chips, we don't
- 18:14Speaker 2: make chips too much here anymore, but we are going
- 18:16Speaker 2: to be in a period of uh a year, We're
- 18:19Speaker 2: gonna have a big portion of the chip market. But
- 18:22Speaker 2: we have to train our people how to make chips,
- 18:24Speaker 2: cause we didn't. We used to do it, and then foolishly,
- 18:28Speaker 2: we lost that business to Taiwan, very very foolishly, cause
- 18:31Speaker 2: if if they had a president that thought like I did,
- 18:36Speaker 2: they would not have l let that happen. But it's
- 18:38Speaker 2: all coming back. I think we're gonna have a within
- 18:41Speaker 2: a sh a few years. We're going and not because
- 18:43Speaker 2: of the Chip Chips Act. The Chips Act was a
- 18:48Speaker 2: disaster for this country. We gave away billions of dollars
- 18:51Speaker 2: to other countries and other locations and companies, and all
- 18:56Speaker 2: they did was rob our money. But because of tariff's
- 19:00Speaker 2: the chips are coming back, chip makers who are all
- 19:03Speaker 2: coming back, and I think within a very short period
- 19:05Speaker 2: of time we're gonna have maybe even the majority of
- 19:08Speaker 2: the chip making in the world will be right in
- 19:10Speaker 2: the United States present, where it should have been all along.
- 19:13Speaker 2: But because we had people that didn't believe in tariffs,
- 19:16Speaker 2: they believed in them, they did not how to use them.
- 19:19Speaker 2: We would have had nobody leaving.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Our country right now.
- 19:23Speaker 2: And I said, you have almost one hundred percent of
- 19:25Speaker 2: the chips that made in Taiwan. It's so disgraceful. The
- 19:29Speaker 2: good news is it's all coming back. Yeah, please say
- 19:31Speaker 2: about it, the gentleman.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 19:33Speaker 9: As the president, I wanted to just follow up on Venezuela.
- 19:36Speaker 9: In these talks with Maduro, Is there anything that he
- 19:39Speaker 9: could say or do that would let allow you to
- 19:45Speaker 9: feel like he could stay with your support?
- 19:47Speaker 2: Is there anything that he could say that you would
- 19:49Speaker 2: be okay? You can say it's hard to say that,
- 19:52Speaker 2: you know, the question is a little bit tricky.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I don't think it was meant to be tricky.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It's just said, Look, he's done tremendous damage to our country,
- 20:01Speaker 2: primarily because of drugs, but really because we have that
- 20:04Speaker 2: problem with other countries too, but more than any other country.
- 20:09Speaker 2: The release of prisoners into our country has been a disaster.
- 20:12Speaker 2: He's empty his deals. Others have done that also. He
- 20:19Speaker 2: has not been good to the United States. So we'll
- 20:21Speaker 2: see what happens. At a certain period of time. I'll
- 20:24Speaker 2: be talking to him.
- 20:28Speaker 8: You mentioned your voice and you were shouting about trade
- 20:31Speaker 8: of which country in.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Particular, that a country wanted to try and renegotiate the
- 20:37Speaker 2: terms of their trade deal. And I wasn't happy about.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Why would I say that to you.
- 20:45Speaker 6: I can't believe that the person on the workup, if
- 20:48Speaker 6: you would Seattle and the World Cup, the.
- 20:50Speaker 2: New mayor elective Seattle is a democratic socialist or beyond.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I watched her. That's more than socialists.
- 20:59Speaker 3: World Cup.
- 21:00Speaker 7: How close are you going to be watching that city
- 21:02Speaker 7: with the crime in the city.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Well, if we think and I'll have to speak to
- 21:06Speaker 2: Johnny about this, but if we think that, uh, the
- 21:10Speaker 2: mayor of la is incompetent.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Everybody knows that.
- 21:12Speaker 2: You know that I was there, I guess two years ago,
- 21:16Speaker 2: and we got all the federal permits taken care of,
- 21:19Speaker 2: far more complex than these state permits and the city
- 21:22Speaker 2: permits and Lee Selden, who's a superstar. I got everything
- 21:26Speaker 2: taken care of the toughest part, you know, having to
- 21:30Speaker 2: do with the fires that should have never happened. If
- 21:32Speaker 2: they let the water come in, it wouldn't have happened.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Do you know that people aren't building their houses yet?
- 21:38Speaker 1: I mean, can you imagine that?
- 21:40Speaker 2: And if we didn't go in early on Christie, I
- 21:43Speaker 2: think we can see it well that the head of
- 21:45Speaker 2: their police department said it they were unable to handle.
- 21:49Speaker 2: You would have had not only did you have the fires,
- 21:51Speaker 2: but you would have had total insurrection in Los Angeles.
- 21:55Speaker 2: And if we didn't go in, and the head of
- 21:58Speaker 2: you know, the gentleman, he said it, and said it strongly.
- 22:01Speaker 2: He said, we could not have done it without the
- 22:02Speaker 2: federal government. We did a great job. If we think
- 22:07Speaker 2: there's going to be the sign of any trouble, I
- 22:10Speaker 2: would ask Johnny to move that to a different city.
- 22:12Speaker 2: We have a lot of cities that we would love
- 22:15Speaker 2: to have at number one, and we'll do it very safely.
- 22:18Speaker 2: So if we think there's a problem in Seattle, where
- 22:20Speaker 2: you have a very very liberal slash communist mayor, I
- 22:24Speaker 2: would say, you know, certainly beyond just liberal. I watched
- 22:27Speaker 2: her over the weekend. Well it said another beauty. We
- 22:30Speaker 2: got there. But if we think there's gonna be a problem,
- 22:33Speaker 2: we'll Johnny can I say, we will move. I don't
- 22:36Speaker 2: think you're going to have this problem, but we're going
- 22:38Speaker 2: to move the event to someplace where it's going to
- 22:40Speaker 2: be appreciated and safe.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:43Speaker 4: I think safety and security is the number one priority
- 22:48Speaker 4: for a successful World Cup. We can see today that
- 22:52Speaker 4: people have trust in the United States when we see
- 22:56Speaker 4: at the tickets ticket sales, we sold record breaking figures
- 23:01Speaker 4: of tickets, almost two million already sold out of two
- 23:05Speaker 4: million that we've been saying. This is because people they
- 23:08Speaker 4: know that they will be coming here and they will
- 23:11Speaker 4: experience a.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Safe and secure world.
- 23:15Speaker 4: This is the responsibility, of course of the government, of
- 23:19Speaker 4: Secretary norm of everyone, and obviously we will I mean
- 23:25Speaker 4: we will discuss. We're working together. We have a task
- 23:27Speaker 4: force for this, and we must ensure that all fans
- 23:32Speaker 4: coming from road or being here they can experience a
- 23:36Speaker 4: celebration of coming together of the sport, and that this
- 23:41Speaker 4: goes only with.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Onety.
- 23:48Speaker 8: We are communicating with all these mayors about what their
- 23:50Speaker 8: responsibilities are they know the safety and security of these
- 23:53Speaker 8: events is their number one responsibility and will be there.
- 23:57Speaker 8: The President's always there to keep Americans safe. But he
- 24:00Speaker 8: also made sure that people that know their responsibilities and
- 24:03Speaker 8: that they're prepared to host these events and do so.
- 24:06Speaker 3: In a safe manner.
- 24:08Speaker 8: That there are some youth this morning from an axious
- 24:14Speaker 8: report that Senator Type Cruise was laying the groundwork.
- 24:17Speaker 3: For a potential twenty twenty presidential run.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Can I get your reaction to would you could you
- 24:22Speaker 8: see yourself support anything?
- 24:23Speaker 2: That was a friend of mine? I mean, I haven't
- 24:25Speaker 2: spoken of him about that. It's literally it's three and
- 24:28Speaker 2: a quarter years. It's a long time. But he's a
- 24:32Speaker 2: very good guy. He's very good friend of mine. You
- 24:34Speaker 2: remember we had quite a campaign against Ted and it
- 24:39Speaker 2: worked out quite nicely.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Let's see where are we where? But I'm not that surprised.
- 24:51Speaker 10: This was on the on the tariff exemptions you had
- 24:53Speaker 10: some recently on a variety of different goods.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I'm wondering, are you ruling out.
- 24:57Speaker 9: Going forward no more exemptions on crop you mentioned a
- 25:01Speaker 9: disagreement or at least we'll take it.
- 25:02Speaker 2: In hundreds of millions of dollars in tariff money. We're
- 25:06Speaker 2: going to be issuing dividends later on somewhere prior to
- 25:11Speaker 2: probably in the middle of next year, a little bit
- 25:12Speaker 2: later than that of thousands of dollars for individuals of
- 25:17Speaker 2: moderate income middle income. We're going to pay down debt.
- 25:21Speaker 2: You know, we have a lot of money from tariffs.
- 25:24Speaker 2: If we didn't have tariffs the station, we'd be in
- 25:26Speaker 2: serious trouble. And we've taken in tremendous amounts of money.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And you know what's more important than that, we've protected
- 25:33Speaker 2: our businesses from being raided, like we did with the
- 25:36Speaker 2: chip business.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Now we're bringing them all back.
- 25:39Speaker 2: But you know, we had one hundred percent of the
- 25:41Speaker 2: chip industry and then they left. They went mostly to
- 25:44Speaker 2: Taiwan and South Korea, but mostly Taiwan, and they have
- 25:48Speaker 2: almost one hundred percent.
- 25:50Speaker 1: We're going to have within a short period of time
- 25:52Speaker 1: a big percentage of the chip business.
- 25:53Speaker 2: They're coming back because of teris because they don't want
- 25:56Speaker 2: to pay the tariffs, because the tariffs will be very
- 25:59Speaker 2: steep if they don't come back, and they're all they've
- 26:02Speaker 2: committed to come back. As you probably heard, Apple is
- 26:06Speaker 2: now up to seven hundred billion dollars. We have Navidia
- 26:10Speaker 2: six hundred billion dollars. We have tremendous amounts of money
- 26:14Speaker 2: pouring it. Our country has become amazing again and really
- 26:19Speaker 2: really rich again. I will say this, we have a
- 26:24Speaker 2: decision we're waiting for. It's a very big decision. The
- 26:28Speaker 2: numbers that we've taken in if you talk about investments,
- 26:31Speaker 2: is trillions, not not with a B, not within m millions,
- 26:37Speaker 2: but trillions of dollars. I can't imagine having to give
- 26:43Speaker 2: that money back on something that we're allowed to do.
- 26:46Speaker 2: And the ones that are finding us are countries largely,
- 26:50Speaker 2: they're back in countries that have been ripping us off
- 26:52Speaker 2: for years, using tariffs to rip us off, and now
- 26:56Speaker 2: we're able to defend ourselves. It really is a matter
- 26:59Speaker 2: of security, because economic security is national security. So uh,
- 27:06Speaker 2: I think you're going to see another thing happening. I
- 27:08Speaker 2: think you'll see food prices. They've come down very substantially
- 27:11Speaker 2: since since Mike, but I think you're going to see
- 27:13Speaker 2: food prices coming.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Down very substance.
- 27:17Speaker 8: Arabia.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Tomorrow, you're hosting Sai Arabia.
- 27:20Speaker 8: Are you planning to sell F thirty five to Saudi Arabia?
- 27:24Speaker 3: I mean it also, are you looking at doing a
- 27:26Speaker 3: similar security agreement like.
- 27:28Speaker 2: You did with Yeah, no am planning. He've been a
- 27:32Speaker 2: great ally. They've got to like us very much. Look
- 27:36Speaker 2: at the Iran situation, what we did in terms of
- 27:40Speaker 2: obliterating you know there, we obliterated their nuclear capability. Yeah,
- 27:44Speaker 2: I will say that we will be doing that. We'll
- 27:47Speaker 2: be selling F thirty five.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Something that you puts on street social.
- 27:51Speaker 8: Last night, you urged House Republicans to vote in favor
- 27:54Speaker 8: of this Epstein release bill.
- 27:56Speaker 3: They're going to vote on that tomorrow. I just want
- 27:58Speaker 3: to be super clear on your position. Do you want
- 27:59Speaker 3: to say, see that past the Senate? Would you sign
- 28:01Speaker 3: that bill if it gets to your desk?
- 28:04Speaker 2: I do want to say, here's what I want. We
- 28:08Speaker 2: have nothing to do with Epstein. The Democrats. Now all
- 28:11Speaker 2: of his friends were Democrats. You look at this red
- 28:14Speaker 2: huff and you look at Larry Summers, Bill Clinton, they
- 28:18Speaker 2: went to his island all the time, and many others
- 28:20Speaker 2: are all Democrats. All I want is I want for
- 28:23Speaker 2: people to recognize a great job that I've done on pricing,
- 28:27Speaker 2: on affordability, because we've brought prices way down, but they
- 28:31Speaker 2: go way lower on energy, on ending eight Wars and
- 28:36Speaker 2: another one coming pretty soon. I believe we've done a
- 28:39Speaker 2: great job, and I hate to see that deflect from
- 28:44Speaker 2: the great job we've done, so I'm all for it.
- 28:48Speaker 1: You know, we've already given fifty thousand pages. You do
- 28:50Speaker 1: know that.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Unfortunately, like with the Kennedy situation, with the Martin Luther
- 28:55Speaker 2: King situation, not to put Jeffrey Epstein in the same categy.
- 29:00Speaker 2: But no matter what we gave, it's never enough.
- 29:02Speaker 3: You know.
- 29:03Speaker 2: With Kennedy, we gave everything and it wasn't enough. With
- 29:06Speaker 2: Martin Luther King, we gave everything, and it's never enough.
- 29:10Speaker 2: We've already given I believe the number is fifty thousand pages.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Fifty thousand pages, and it's just a Russian Russian Russia
- 29:20Speaker 2: hoax as it pertains to the Republicans. Now, I believe
- 29:24Speaker 2: that many of the people that some of the people
- 29:27Speaker 2: that we mentioned are being looked at very seriously for
- 29:31Speaker 2: their relationship to Jeffrey Epstein. But they were with them
- 29:35Speaker 2: all the time. I wasn't at all, and we'll see
- 29:39Speaker 2: what happens. What I just don't want Epstein to do
- 29:43Speaker 2: is detract from the great success of the Republican Party,
- 29:47Speaker 2: including the fact that the Democrats are totally blamed for
- 29:51Speaker 2: the shutdown. You know, they cost our country hundreds of
- 29:54Speaker 2: visions of dollars with it, had a lot of inconvenience.
- 29:58Speaker 2: So I'm for any I don't take it. Do whatever
- 30:02Speaker 2: they want. We'll give them everything. Sure, I would let
- 30:06Speaker 2: the send up look at it, let anybody look at it,
- 30:09Speaker 2: but don't talk about it too much, because honestly, I
- 30:12Speaker 2: don't want to take it away from us. It's really
- 30:14Speaker 2: a Democrat problem. The Democrats were Epstein's friends, all of them,
- 30:20Speaker 2: and it's a hoax. The whole thing is a hoax,
- 30:23Speaker 2: and I don't want to take it away from really
- 30:26Speaker 2: the greatness of what the Republican Party has accomplished over
- 30:30Speaker 2: the last period of time.
- 30:33Speaker 8: Our cutdown is now over, and administration officials had said
- 30:38Speaker 8: when the shutdown ends they'll re evaluate the farmer relief
- 30:41Speaker 8: now we have the deal with China.
- 30:43Speaker 3: So is the administration still looking to dish out former
- 30:47Speaker 3: relief now that the government is fact.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Well, we want to.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I'm always going to help our farmers. I would do that.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, if they need relief, we'll be there for We're
- 30:56Speaker 2: gonna always be for our farmers. Yeah, plays are the bet.
- 31:00Speaker 9: Just speaking of the economic impacts of FIFA and possibly
- 31:04Speaker 9: moving to another city some games if you feel it's crime,
- 31:07Speaker 9: is there like a timeline that you would do that?
- 31:09Speaker 9: Because these cities, there's sponsorships, there's economic impacts for these communities.
- 31:15Speaker 2: You know, the governors are going to have to behave
- 31:17Speaker 2: the mayors are going to have to behave.
- 31:18Speaker 1: You know, in the case of.
- 31:20Speaker 2: California, you have a problem, you have high crime, and
- 31:25Speaker 2: you have a place that just suffered great fires and
- 31:28Speaker 2: everything else that they didn't do a very good job.
- 31:30Speaker 2: And if we didn't go in from the grime standpoint,
- 31:33Speaker 2: you would have had a disaster. It would have been
- 31:35Speaker 2: it was not going to be handled properly. It wasn't
- 31:38Speaker 2: able to be. The head of the police said without
- 31:41Speaker 2: as I said, without the federal government, they could not
- 31:44Speaker 2: have done it. So here's the story.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I love Los Angeles.
- 31:48Speaker 2: If they want help during this, I would love to
- 31:51Speaker 2: send in National.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Guard or whoever's necessary to help them.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I want it to be great. I'd love it to
- 31:57Speaker 2: be in Los Angeles. I love the place. It's a
- 31:59Speaker 2: natural for Los Angeles. If we think they're gonna be
- 32:03Speaker 2: there's gonna be crime if we are obstructed by the governor,
- 32:07Speaker 2: and maybe he won't obstruct, maybe it'll be great, But
- 32:09Speaker 2: i'd love him for him to call and say, you know,
- 32:12Speaker 2: we'd like to have some extra because if there's even
- 32:16Speaker 2: a hint of a problem, we want to get in
- 32:18Speaker 2: there before the problem occurs. We want to make it
- 32:20Speaker 2: totally safe for Johnny and FIFA and all of the
- 32:23Speaker 2: great people that are gonna be there. And I think
- 32:26Speaker 2: that's gonna happen. I would I would be honored to
- 32:29Speaker 2: help California if they're gonna have a problem, And if
- 32:33Speaker 2: they think they're gonna have a problem, they should say
- 32:35Speaker 2: so we can be in there in twenty four.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Hours notice and do a great job.
- 32:42Speaker 2: A year, by the end of the year, by the
- 32:44Speaker 2: end of the first court. Well, I think if they
- 32:46Speaker 2: would tell us, if they would tell us now, they're
- 32:48Speaker 2: not gonna have a problem, because if we go in,
- 32:51Speaker 2: they don't have a problem. Look at DC. There's no
- 32:53Speaker 2: crime in DC anymore, and DC was a mess. If
- 32:57Speaker 2: they want us to go in, I'd like them to
- 33:00Speaker 2: tell us right now. But if we go in, there
- 33:02Speaker 2: will be no problem. There would be no crime like
- 33:05Speaker 2: local businesses we're considering sponsoring. Tell your governor to ask
- 33:10Speaker 2: for federal health we'd love to help them.
- 33:15Speaker 8: So potentially launching strikes in Mexico or putting American troops.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Or American personnel into Mexico to do with.
- 33:23Speaker 2: In Mexico to stop drugs, It's okay with me. Whatever
- 33:28Speaker 2: we have to do to stop drugs Mexico is Look.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I looked at Mexico City over the weekend. There's some
- 33:34Speaker 2: big problems over there. If we had to what we
- 33:38Speaker 2: do there, what we have done to the waterways. You know,
- 33:40Speaker 2: there's almost no drugs coming in through our waterways anymore.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Isn't it down like eighty five percent?
- 33:46Speaker 2: I don't know who the fifteen It wouldn't be you, No,
- 33:51Speaker 2: I think it's been tons.
- 33:54Speaker 1: You would say that's a big signal.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Absolutely, we have almost no drugs coming into our country
- 34:00Speaker 2: by the sea, by you know, the waterways, and you
- 34:04Speaker 2: know why, Okay, I mean it's pretty obvious. Would I
- 34:07Speaker 2: do that on the land cars?
- 34:11Speaker 1: I would absolutely, Look.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Every boat we knock out, we saved twenty five thousand
- 34:16Speaker 2: American lives. Not to mention the destruction of families. These
- 34:21Speaker 2: families are decimated forever, the mother, the father, the children.
- 34:26Speaker 2: They never recover.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Really from it.
- 34:28Speaker 2: You know, when you lose somebody like the way they
- 34:30Speaker 2: live any if you lose them, but the way they
- 34:33Speaker 2: die is horrible. So when we knock out about it,
- 34:36Speaker 2: we save twenty five thousand lives.
- 34:38Speaker 1: That's great.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Now do I feel the same way about the corridors
- 34:43Speaker 2: that they use? We know every one of them. We
- 34:45Speaker 2: have every one of those carters under major surveillance. We
- 34:50Speaker 2: have nobody coming in through our southern border, but we
- 34:53Speaker 2: know exactly how they get there. Things here, how they
- 34:57Speaker 2: get the drugs here, a fent and all cocaine. Columbia
- 35:02Speaker 2: has cocaine factories where they make cocaine. Would I knock
- 35:06Speaker 2: out those factories? I would be proud to do it. Personally,
- 35:09Speaker 2: I didn't say I'm doing it, but I would be
- 35:12Speaker 2: proud to do it because we're going to save millions
- 35:15Speaker 2: of lives by doing it. Would you Mexico's Commission Life?
- 35:19Speaker 2: I wouldn't answer that question. I've been speaking to Mexico.
- 35:24Speaker 2: They know how I stand. We're losing hundreds of thousands
- 35:28Speaker 2: of people to drugs. So now we've stopped the waterways,
- 35:32Speaker 2: but we know every route we know every route, we
- 35:35Speaker 2: know the addresses of every drug lord. We know their address,
- 35:39Speaker 2: we know their front door, we know everything about every
- 35:42Speaker 2: one of them. They're killing our people. That's like a war.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Would I do it. I'd be proud to it. Probably
- 35:48Speaker 2: go into Congress and say hey, and you know what,
- 35:51Speaker 2: the Democrats and the Republicans would both agreet unless they're crazy,
- 35:56Speaker 2: and they are a little crazy on the Democrats side.
- 36:00Speaker 2: But we have lost hundreds of thousands of people of
- 36:06Speaker 2: your death. And that's not talking about family destruction. That's
- 36:09Speaker 2: talking about that and much of it comes through Mexico.
- 36:14Speaker 2: So let me just put it this way. I am
- 36:15Speaker 2: not happy with Mexico. Okay, thank you very much, everybody.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Thank you,
